After searching several major brands of auto insurance I found that Geico had the best coverage for the price I was willing to pay. Not only was I happy with the pricing structure and coverage availability but their customer service representatives were very friendly and helpful. Their internet site was a little tricky. However I find most sites for insurance to be a little more complex than necessary but I do think Geico's was neither more or less complex than any other. I am also happy with the fact Geico can cover other things besides my car. To sum it up even though I felt their commercials are quite gimmicky with their talking gecko and all I was very surprised to find out that their auto insurance rates are fair. The company seems trustworthy and they are professionally friendly.

GEICO is excellent to deal with, with excellent rates. I was hit by a hit-and-run driver and they were great handling the claim. They contacted a tow truck, set up an appointment for a rental car, and paid to have the car repaired. The rate did not increase.

When my husband's car was totaled after the parking lot it was in flooded, Geico was very fast and easy to work with. It was very important to me that we replace the car seat that was installed in the car because the water damage made it unusable. Geico sent us a check for the full value of the car seat in a very timely manner and we were able to replace it.

Very happy with the prompt and attentive service I have received. They make me feel as if I'm a priority and that my needs come first. About 3 months ago, my windshield cracked due to the many everyday construction trucks blowing gravel my way. There were 3 cracks and I had no problem whatsoever going online, filling out paperwork and getting someone to come fix the glass at my job! She was prompt, kept me updated as to what she was doing and just very professional. I'm pretty satisfied and happy with the work she did. We even found a shark tooth among the debris that had broken the glass!

Very pricey to add three cars, slow on a claim when I filed claim with them. My premium went up for accident which I was not liable. Overall though giving is reasonable for rent a car and bill paying. Customer service good overall.

I've been a GEICO customer for over 30 years and have found their pricing to be fair. When I have had to make a claim they've been fast to respond. They make filing a claim very easy which is most of the battle in my opinion.

I don't see very many reviews for people on the other end of the insurance equation... My son was in a MVA which was determined by all involved to be 100% the fault of the GEICO insured driver. They were nice enough the first and second calls... very solicitous, concerned for my son's health. Now 3 months later, still trying to collect the claim for totaled out vehicle. Calls to claim center where I can't be transferred to the right person because of mysterious phone outages (this has happened more than once), unanswered voice mails. Even got so far as to have an appointment with agent to close claim. Never showed, never called back. I live in a rural area without a local office. Shop with a local agent only!

Easy to obtain, good rates, easy website to navigate, 24/7 customer service. I've never had a claim with them so I can't speak for that but otherwise I've been very happy with them. Their rates are very fair and it is not expensive to up your coverage. Anytime I call my wait time is less than 5 minutes even during prime time. Their representatives are friendly and helpful. Their phone prompts are easy to navigate. Overall my husband and I are very satisfied. I just wish they had an actual location near us so we could have our own agent.

They have been great. Even after losing my licence for over a year, they took me back and gave me a policy. It's at a high cost, but it is still insurance. I will be calling soon to see if they will be able to lower it.

I guess they gave me a good policy because my credit was good but they were not helpful when I was in an accident and then forced me to add a roommate to my auto policy if though he never drove my car. That made my rate triple.

Geico has constantly been very helpful with all aspects of their company. They continue to lower our rate every few months and always deliver excellent service. Whenever we call for service they are always very prompt and helpful with getting the claim process done as soon as possible, giving us special care and always having one agent assigned for the duration of the claim process. Geico will always be our top choice and I hope that others will also choose them over another company if they want great service. Geico also offers many benefits for using their company such as free or discounted rental car when traveling and full coverage driving another person's vehicle.

I had a very good experience with GEICO. The GEICO representatives are very friendly and very helpful. When I called in November, 2014 for a quote, the GEICO representative told me I could get the same auto coverage I have for $500 for 6 months, which was $500 less than what I paid for 6 months with Allstate. It was a no brainer. I switched over to GEICO right away. I am very happy with GEICO and highly recommend them.

I used to have Nationwide. Had it for many years. Had no accidents or tickets but their rates went up too high. I called around and GEICO had the lowest rates. I have been with them for 3 years and I'm very satisfied.

Expensive rates. Blamed me for an accident that was not my fault. They answer the phones in a good amount of time. Had to show proof that car seats needed to be replaced but other than that they are pretty good. I pay every 6 months because it's cheaper than paying month to month.

Geico is incredibly easy to use. The website is easy to navigate to find information about your policy as well as information on other products and add-ons. I recently had to add another vehicle to my policy and was pleased with how quickly and efficiently I was able to do so. The automatic billing is wonderful for peace of mind and this insurance was the least expensive with the highest quality of coverage. I would highly recommend Geico; especially for younger adults and people on a limited income

My son's car just got repainted (gift for going through 4 surgeries this year) and I had a relative that happens to have geico full coverage run in to my sons parked car. They won't pay to fix it. So I guess full coverage only applies to total strangers. Do they have a clause about everything so they can deny what they seem fit. How dirty is that. Lawyers may contact me if they want. I have already filed complaint with consumer insurance division in my state. Hopefully they wont have a clause about that.

Hello. Worst insurance company ever you can deal with. I had my nephew live at my home and he left to move to Alaska and he does not have a car, and the insurance company told me that he has to have new insurance to get him removed. What ** is that. He doesn't have a car and never heard such a thing ever so I told them that "You have an option, you remove him or I leave you and go back with Progressive." So therefore, I left Geico and left to go back to Progressive. So my advice: leave Geico and go to Progressive. They don't give you a hard time at all, been with Progressive over 8 years. Geico go ** yourself and your company.

I love using GEICO. Everything about the company is great. I pay my bill online. I've filed a claim through the website and also made changes to my account online. I love the convenience they offer on their website. My per month rate is great and I like being notified via email that I have a payment or new documents.

It is the most affordable with the right amount of coverage I need. This year as in all years we compared prices with a lot of companies and this was the most affordable. I would switch insurance companies for the same coverage but lower prices. I am not brand loyal.

My experience was a good one. I was able to make changes and payments online, but if I had a question or had to call for something, all the techs were very polite and helpful. There was never a long wait, and everyone I talked to was extremely helpful and understanding of whatever help I needed from them.

THE mascot for GEICO should be a snake. The worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company. Car was damaged. They did everything in their power not to pay for the damages. Car insurance is over 200 a month. NOTHING was done.

Their roadside assistance is great! That is definitely why I am so happy with them, also that they are always available to talk to! I also like that it didn't cost much to add another car to my policy, it was quick and easy as well. I have had a policy with them for quite some time and haven't been able to find one other policy that had better rates. I have never had an issue with billing as all my billing has been auto withdraw.

Well I think the most important part was that they really are cheap!!! I also liked that they helped me understand what coverages I specifically needed. It took a little more time to get started but feel that they really do a good job as a company to help you. After a few bad experiences with another insurance company Geico is a breath of fresh air. After an accident they were so polite and easy to work with. They did not transfer me 50 times like the other insurance company did and found a body shop I could take my car that same day. Geico was also able to give me the lowest rates for my coverage.

I have been a customer for over a year. They take the payment out every month, therefore I have never been late. I also drive for a living. My partner and I have clean MVR. 1 Minor ticket 4 or 5 years ago. Personal I have not got a ticket in over 10 Years. No DUI's. They have actually raised my rates twice. GEICO has also taken it upon themselves to change how far I drive to work. For the last 5 years I have lived 3 miles from work. At the most we drive 1825 miles to work or 3650 back and forth a year. GEICO has changed that number to 12000.00. I do not like doing business with shady people.

Geico is so easy, affordable, up to date and fresh. They have great commercials as well. Everything can be done online which is great because I live in the mountains and far from town. So clicking through the website to get my needs covered makes it worth it to me. I also think their coverage is comparable to other insurance companies, only a lot less money.

Last July, I was traveling in another state when I was hit by a car in a blind intersection where I had the green light and green arrow. The car that hit me was so old, the car's front looked like an accordion, and their rear bumper fell off. I held on when I saw she wasn't making any attempt to stop and had turned in the direction I was going when she hit me.
My car was a brand new Buick SUV and fully insured. I am African-American and from the beginning, the ambulance, hospital, and police officer assumed that I had hit this young Hispanic woman though she admitted she hit me. Geico immediately took the side of the young woman but said that once my car was examined and it was found that she had hit me, they would back me up. Geico didn't back me up. I was so badly injured that I couldn't drive anymore and my husband told them to take me off the insurance until further notice (right after the accident). Recently, Geico raised our rate by 50% and I was stuck in a hotel (which I had to pay for) for a month until I could travel again and was refused medical care in Albuquerque, New Mexico where the accident occurred. When I returned home, Geico took care of the chiropractor for a few months and that was it.
The massage therapist and medication that is extremely expensive out of my pocket and they are telling me to try my health insurance to pay for the chiropractor. Geico has ignored my husband and me and are forcing me to seek out an attorney to rectify this situation. My car cost around $23,000 and the repairs ran about $17,000 plus. The repairs were said to be warranted but were not. Geico should have deemed the car totaled and replaced it as we had to stop to get the car looked at for leaking fluids on the way home and the car required more repairs. My husband had our car towed to the auto body place Geico chose (which was warrantied) but when we got home, the shop that did the initial repairs refused to honor it. So we had to wait until Geico approved the repair bill again at the dealer's. This car (no doubt) will need more repairs down the road and we will be responsible for that.
I'm not happy with Geico and hate that this happened to me as the car had a few thousand miles on it and I wasn't in this kind of constant pain. I'm left to wonder if the other driver or my passenger had died, would I have been in jail because I was treated like a criminal rather than like a valued customer. And it was assumed from the beginning that I was at fault. Geico refused to go after the other driver as if they were their customer not me.

I'm almost 70 and have been driving since I was 16. I don't change companies very often because I'm a good driver and generally get good rates. I've been with Geico for about 3 years. Previously I was with Progressive for almost 15 years, but they began to go up on my rates for no reason. So far, Geico has been a good company and I continue to get competitive rates on every renewal period.

All contact with the insurer is online through email, although I do request insurance cards through the mail. I've had one major claim since using GEICO and found local body shops did not want to give me a quote when they found the insurer was GEICO. The recommended shop was some distance away, but did an adequate job, other than not quite properly aligning the new back bumper.

In general overall they are OK. People who answer phones should not be telling people what and where they offer certain services. An operator on two occasions made false statements regarding types of coverage offered in my state of operation for my business. Thank goodness I ignored her statements and talked an actual licensed agent for my state. Also you want to make sure you have everything in the policy you want and double check it after because I have had issues in the past with a glass claim and had to eat the cost of the windshield because the agent failed to make my glass deductible zero as I requested and I wasn't aware of this prior to having to have to file a claim. As for rates they are usually pretty good but always get new quotes from other companies at least once every two years because you may be able to save some money if you do this especially if you move to a new area.

Overall, GEICO has been great. Only had one claim and they took care of everything. Only issue is that rates increase even when accident was proven to be the other person's fault and I have no violations. Customer service is excellent though and they are very responsive.

GEICO has given me the worst experience as far as every time I call the employee I speak to gives me different information about what I owe than the last one. My rates increase every 6 months with a perfect driving record and their claims service is slow and took up to two weeks to receive a vandalism claim.

We chose GEICO Insurance as we thought they had comparable rates and were well-rated with people we knew. However, we had a very bad experience when a car hit ours on the passenger side. It was obvious that the other driver was at fault. Unfortunately, that driver also had GEICO Insurance and was driving a rental car. It took a great deal of time for GEICO to determine responsibility for the accident. We know that personnel are only doing the jobs required of them; but we believe we were getting the "runaround" when we were seeking the status. By the way, our monthly insurance payment was increased.

I switched to GEICO when another insurance company kept raising my rates every year. It's affordable and you get free roadside assistance. I have yet to file an accident claim, but I've used the roadside assistance a few times (mostly for dead batteries) and they were always very prompt and efficient.

I had moved and a survey was sent to my address and which I never seen but disturb me as to our conversation over a price change. The agent called out this to my attention and stated they received this invoice back and was notified that I moved, of course I placed a forwarding address for my mail so how could I missed that hocus pocus. How come it never forward to me instead of return to my Auto Insurer.

I've been with Geico on & off for 25 years & have never had any problems & my rates have actually gone down over the years. But my last wreck was when I was a teenager. So drive defensively it will pay dividends plus use phones only when traffic is low. No texting, no drugs & drinking while driving. Really do all this if you have to at home. Use your head & just common sense.

Never had a claim, no accidents or violations for over 10 years. Retired and drive barely 150 miles a month. Rates still rose. Changed companies, rates dropped about 20%. Made it difficult to cancel.

I replaced an AARP/HARTFORD policy with Geico. In 8 years with Geico I have had one modest premium increase. In 4 years of AARP, I had four substantial increases doubling my premium in total. When I switched, my premiums went from over $1200/year to under $500 and I have better coverage with lower deductibles. Previous experiences I've had with Safeco and Allstate match the negative AARP.

Outstanding company A+++. My claim was fast and very easy. Customer support is the best. We snapped a axle on our RV due to a large bump in the road. Called Geico and everything was taken care of fast even two tows to repair shops. I can't express how much the company made me feel like a valued customer.

After years of no accidents with Geico, a car pulled out in front of my wife and totaled our vehicle. Geico immediately declared the accident no fault on our part, and paid us a reasonable amount for the totaled vehicle. Their customer service was excellent and easy to deal with.

This underwriter has consistently given me coverage at less cost and better customer service than other carriers I have used over the last 20 years. Every year I obtain new quotes from other carriers and no other vendor has even come close to matching the price that my current vendor charges me for full coverage auto insurance.

They charged me extra money and charged me with an accident that was not my fault... Is it allowed for insurance to charge for an accident even though you are not at fault? This is totally wrong. I hope something can be done about that. My premium went up approximately 225.00 per six months. I called and complain, they lowered it to 550 every six months deal with $45 more than what I was paying every 6 months.

We have had GEICO as our auto insurance for about 18 years now. I can't say how they are with claims because we've never had one. However, I do like that they give discounts that help make the insurance more affordable. We get one for having a family member in Mensa and another for being a state govt. worker. Recently we were terrified of how high our ratings would be adding our 19 year old son, but it turns out it was only an additional $40 a month, which we found quite affordable for covering a teen boy. It only took a 15 minute phone call to get him covered, and it was very easy to get through to a real person to make the change. They send the insurance cards online as well as the bills.
We haven't really seen a lot of additional discounts for not having claims or tickets, but the insurance has not went up much over the years either. When I've shopped around we stay with GEICO because they still have the best rates for the coverage we get.

In my area (Pompano Beach, Florida) GEICO Insurance has the lowest car insurance rates of ALL companies. GEICO also offers other types of insurance including Homeowner's and Liability Umbrella policies. Their Customer Service is great. They are always available to correctly answer questions. Your renewal information arrives very early. Your new insurance cards arrive promptly. The online web-page is great. Happily, I have not had an accident. However, a neighbor did and commented that Geico handled the claim efficiently and quickly with no problems.

GEICO is better than average compared to other insurance companies I've used. The rates are reasonable as long as they are accurate. You do have to watch their online form carefully to make sure the coverage is accurate. They will try to force bodily injury on you even if you live in a no-fault state, but their competition does it too so it's not like they are being especially egregious. Customer service is amiable and easy to contact - if you ever try to cancel the policy you will need to call them because they make it difficult to process a cancellation online. On the whole, when I was still driving I would use either them or Progressive. They were the best among the basic insurers with online applications.

I had been a loyal customer with them for over 5 years and then I made a claim with them. My vehicle had been stolen. It was found a month later and it was in pretty bad shape, ranging from missing engine parts, damage to the engine, damaging the interior, a crack in the windshield, and dents on hood and other parts of the car, and more. The car was totaled, but would make gurgIing type sound when you turned on the motor, and made a burnt smell from under the hood. Whoever stole my car ran that thing into the ground. The GEICO representative called me a liar and told me the car still runs (calling it barely running still seems too optimistic) and they can't give me the money for any repairs or for the parts that were damaged or missing on the basis of that I was a liar. They ended up giving me $300 for my car that was now totaled. I was furious!!
For my work I get to see new faces every day and since my claim with them, I have asked customers and co-workers if they have GEICO and if they have ever had to file a claim with them, and how long they had or have been a customer with them. From my survey, the results are most people like GEICO if they have never filed a claim. Every single person that had filed a claim with them, that I asked (12 people), was absolutely disgusted with GEICO and from listening to all of their stories, they all felt GEICO scammed them and I agree. From my experience and from hearing all of the other people's experiences, GEICO has no problem ripping off even their loyal customers, such as myself before they scammed me.

They have reasonable and low prices that are competitive. I have not had to file a claim with them but I am pretty sure I would receive the same kind of service as just starting insurance and making payments. They even are accommodating if you run into an issue with payment. They will allow to pay months at a time or month by month. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends as an insurance company. I only have auto but I am pretty sure all other insurances are just as great with this company.

However, we have (thankfully) not yet had to file a claim, so I don't know yet how helpful they will be if and when we cross that bridge but their reviews are good. I had Erie but after I hit a deer in November then in June I rear ended a lady, they dropped me, I was upset. So I had to change to a new insurance company. I found Geico, they are more expensive but I was glad to get them. I miss the home town agent that I did have prior but she did not have anything to do with Erie dropping me from their insurance company.

Just like the commercial says we switched to Geico and saved a lot of money. Was very satisfied. About a month ago I bumped into my neighbors truck. Minor damage. As my husband and I decided to purchase a second vehicle, we were expecting our payments to go up. We decided to start shopping around after our previous car insurance company quoted us over $200/month for car insurance on two vehicles with full coverage. We definitely switched to GEICO once we got a quote from them bringing our monthly payment down a pretty significant amount. I had State Farm for nearly 8 years not realizing that I could get the same coverage from Geico for half the price. Once I decided to go online and get a quote from them, I could not believe how long it took me to try. The quote I received online was true as well. I called them the same day. I moved from Southern Ca to Connecticut in 2003. I was unpleasantly surprised at how high auto insurance is here. I have no tickets or accidents on my record and every insurance company I called wanted triple what I was paying in California. They are courteous and always upbeat and happy to assist you. The only thing I've noticed is that their rates have gone up $150 for year... increase. Otherwise I'm very satisfied and happy. I had sold my old car in Florida, and flew back to my home state of Pennsylvania. Because I didn't have insurance, even though I had just sold the car and cancelled the insurance on that car, I had to pay the highest premium because I was uninsured. The next year, when I should have received a better rate, there was a new reason why I was still paying the highest rate. I don't even remember what the reason was. I loved that the policy starts at a six month line that way. If you don't like it you can change it after six months rather than being stuck in it for a whole year.

After a relatively minor accident, GEICO paid a mechanic thousands of dollars for one of the worst repair jobs their follow-up team had ever seen. We have had a satisfactory experience with this company. We had no claims so there was never an issue. When we changed vehicles there was always an agent to speak with. The transitions from one vehicle to another went smoothly. The original process of acquiring the insurance was easy. The agent we spoke to worked with us discussing our options for coverage and what was most appropriate for us. We were given several choices of methods of payment. We chose the most convenient way to pay for us with no problems. We were happy with the entire process. Of course, like everyone we would like smaller premiums.

We have not yet been in an accident or had any damage to our vehicle, we do know however that roadside assistance and rental reimbursement is covered under the policy for a price of about 450, for a 6 month period. We think this is a good deal as compared to other companies that charge more but do not offer this service, they also offer the same insurance coverage as our previous company for a lower price.

I've been a long time customer of Geico and have had no issues for nearly 16 years. My only problem is they do not offer any sort of discount for loyalty or remaining collision free for that period of time. Never having to call on them for anything they're OK. But I feel they should offer a discount for not having any issues for the 16 years I've been insured with them.

GEICO is very simple to sign up for. They have competitive rates and their website makes it easy to change your coverage within minutes, immediately adjusting your payments. Love the ability to pay through the app! I made my boyfriend sign-up for insurance at Geico and he was shocked at the ease of use and affordable quote.

Customer service has always been friendly. The website is convenient and easy to use. I have my payment automatically withdrawn from my bank account and have paperless billing, which is very easy and convenient. The prices are very fair and they have plenty of options for automobile coverage.

I was pleasantly surprised when shopping for auto insurance that Geico was the best match for us. I love the ease of their website. The rates are very affordable, even with my son who is under 25! I had previously used Esurance and I thought they were the least expensive around. When that was up for renewal and I was shopping, Geico beat our Esurance price by almost half. Thankfully we haven't had to make any claims but I imagine that process will be just as easy. Definitely 2 thumbs up for Geico!

Nothing major ever happened between us. I need it once when My battery went broke. I called them by the phone, and they answered well. The guy was well-informed about everything, but of course it took me 60 minutes.

We tried buying a used 2013 Toyota Avalon and so we tried to set up our insurance with Geico and the monthly payments were going to be ~100. The car got sold so we then successfully bought a 2012 Toyota Avalon and let the insurance company know. They bumped up the monthly payment to ~130 and did not give a reasonable explanation as to why it was more expensive. It was upsetting and I think we'll find something else when the contract ends.

Geico is a reasonably priced insurance. I had some issues related to a divorce that I needed help with. Geico was very understanding and helped me work it out. When my windshield got a crack in it I was able to deal with it that day! Easy to navigate the Geico website!

The GEICO website is useful, comprehensive, and very, very, useful. One can get a quote, open a policy, renew a policy, view paperwork, update account information, make a payment, contact customer service, report an accident, file & track a claim all online. Nothing could be easier. Insurance is a necessary evil, but so far we have been in good hands with GEICO. True, so far we haven't filed any claims so I cannot speak to the veracity of that process. I can however speak to the low prices; they are by far the lowest of all of the major insurance companies. I have read more than a few negative reviews about GEICO online, but I hope they are not the norm; time will tell.

My insurance company is good so far. It offers lower monthly payment for our 2 cars than Progressive. I don't think other insuramce companies offer lower monthly cost. If they do then I think I can switch.

I enjoy the low price and the good coverage, I pay less than 30 dollars on my insurance each month which is a lot lower than other insurance companies I've tried using. The payment process is pretty easy. I pay it online automatically through a banking account and it's done! I'd enjoy it if the insurance card was laminated though, they send paper cards and they are so easy to mess up if you leave them in the glove box of your car.

I love the plan that I have. You pay for four months and then you get two months off. And also my plan includes full coverage and it's super cheap!! I would definitely recommend this insurance company to my friends, family and everyone else!! Get a quote and definitely check this insurance company out!! It's definitely worth it!!

They have really fair prices, customer service is really easy to use and super friendly. We had to file a claim because of hail damage, I called the claims department and they found a repair down the street for me. They give all kinds of discounts for good driving, school and military.

We switched to Geico about 3 years ago after comparing coverage and premiums with several other companies (via the internet). We have only had to file 2 claims, and both were handled to our complete satisfaction. The first was a simple roadside assistance claim. We paid for the towing out of pocket and sent the receipt to Geico in the mail. A reimbursement check arrived in a couple weeks for the full amount. The second was just a few months ago. Someone backed into my wife's new car in the bank parking lot. Geico handled everything with the other party's insurance company. We have been very satisfied with our relationship with Geico. I would highly recommend.

I was in a pretty severe auto accident and GEICO was very responsive with my claim. I was paid fairly quickly and their customer service representatives were extraordinarily helpful. I was very happy with their service and I would recommend them to others without the slightest bit of reservation.

I pay a decent rate for my insurance and Geico representatives are very helpful and attentive during incidents. My car had a malfunction and there was an accident and my rate never went up. I recommend roadside assistance as well. They are fast and efficient.

It is way too expensive and I am currently looking for a different policy. I have had it since I moved back to Louisiana about a year ago and they are good but too expensive. I plan on calling around to get estimates so hopefully I will be able to find something.

I've only had 1 accident and they were very quick to fix the car, but even though I had full coverage, they gave me a hard time about my injuries and I had to get a lawyer. Even he had a hard time getting my medical paid.

GEICO was the absolute worst auto insurance ever. Take a look at the recent class actions lawsuits against them! I faxed and emailed them (also had the bank tell them on the phone what they were doing!) the bank statements showing GEICO their error in which they took three payments of over $200.00. They only returned 1 of the fees and then charged me twenty dollars because I had to block them from my account!
They were also deceiving, would say anything, lie straight to you while they are reading the bank statements. I asked them several times during the time of trying to get my money back how would they feel if this was your mother or yourself getting robbed out of your bank account? GEICO always give a low quote so they can reel you in to get more money over the course of your premium! Beware of GEICO! Call your State Insurance to have them investigate if you feel they are finding absurd reasons why to add additional fees every month to your auto policy!
