    Received the replacement phone and it works fine. I wish there was a way of receiving the upgrade that I was eligible for versus receiving the same model phone. Wish that were a selection option since having to pay a fee anyway. Maybe that could be an enhancement or option in the future.

    I dropped my Galaxy S22 Ultra and crunched it in the car door. The damage to the phone left the bottom part of the screen unreadable, to include the fingerprint reader. I filled out the insurance claim info on the 360 and received confirmation that a new phone was en route to me. Even though I am in the middle of a move and don't have an address, it was easy to stop the shipment at the UPS point and pick it up at the store.

    Lies, scams, stunts, shows and shenanigans...baby, they got it all! So I have their protection plan through Spectrum. My phone broke through no fault of my own...screen just cracked as it is a folding phone. So I've paid my insurance for over a year...I should be good, right? Oh no, not right! Get the phone, get the reimbursement. I buy the phone from Best Buy and upload all of my proof to the website (which only allows you to upload ONE photo at a time, each photo having to be accompanied by a long form you have to fill out. Had I not made a collage of the information, this would have taken all day as they wanted SO MUCH information. You can't tell me a company of this size can't have an uploader capable of uploading more than one photo at a time. That's the first step in their BS, but it's certainly not the deepest! Stay tuned for that!)

    So all of the information is in, I send them the broken phone and they let me know they will send me my check minus the $99 deductible. Great. I paid $349 for the phone...$386 after taxes. Minus the 99, I should be getting back $249 IF we're not counting taxes, $286 if we are. But what do I get a check for? $186.21! So starts up the BS engines! They'd sent me an email with the amount the check was supposed to be and of course I lose it. I immediately contact customer service to ask how is it that my check is $100 less than it should be. The customer service person proceeds to lie and tell me they have no idea how much the refund is for and there's no way for them to know. YOUR COMPANY LITERALLY SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING HOW MUCH IT IS!!!! I DIDN'T JUST PULL THIS NUMBER OUT OF MY BUTT!

    So he INSISTS that there's nothing that can be done until I get the check. Ok. I get it. It's in the low amount promised. Back on the line with customer service. This person does the math right along with me, sees that with tax my deductible was actually $103. I say ok... there's $4 accounted for...where's the rest? She apologizes for the short check, then says she'll have someone from payables contact me the next day. (This happened on a Wednesday.) Monday comes...still haven't heard from anyone. So back on the chat AGAIN.

    This time (and this is the TRULY fun part of the story!), the customer service agent tries to tell me they've talked to payables and the amount of the check is "valid". I'm like how??? Explain it to me with the amounts I gave you, how you came up with $186.21. She then proceeds to do the math, MAKING THE DEDUCTIBLE $200!!!! I said excuse me??? When was the deductible $200??? That was never discussed or a part of the play! She then tells me I need to provide a bank statement showing where I paid the deductible! YOU TOOK IT FROM MY REIMBURSEMENT CHECK!!!! She THEN claims that actually they have nothing to do with the deductible amount, that's actually all Spectrum.

    At this point, I'm so mad if this woman were in my face, she'd need medical attention. Because now you're simply pissing on my leg and telling me it's raining. I know for a FACT Spectrum, the same company you told me I can't get a phone from, has NOTHING to do with my deductible amount! You're the insurance company! YOU SET THE DANG DEDUCTIBLE, **?!? I also ask how just last week the agent could see the deductible amount as $103, but now MAGICALLY for her it's $200? Then, I guess once she realized I wasn't born yesterday, she finally goes "Oh yeah, now I see where the deductible was $99!" YOU SAW THAT TO BEGIN WITH, YOU JUST LIED! Next day has come and I STILL haven't heard anything from these people and would bet all the tea in England I won't ever hear from them. You're better off setting your money on fire than giving it to these absolute grifters. We need another Mangione!

    Zero deductible front screen repair - not possible in a major market where I live. Replace phone with the deductible - not possible for a google pixel 9a. Take this random phone instead.     The process of transferring phones is not as easy as just changing the sim card as stated on the card that was sent with the phone. I went to a T-Mobile store for help.     This by far the worse experience I have had with this company and the first time I ever had to file a claim on any device I have ever owned. I filed a claim June 6, 2025, for my tablet device because the charging ports have stopped working. They were unable to accommodate me with a replacement device, so I had to purchase a device on my own and process the claim for a refund. Once the purchase was made, I submitted my receipt and payment method. First, I was told the refund would be received in 7-10 business by one representative. The second representative told me the refund would be mailed out after receiving the old device.

    Fast forward, the device was received by the company on June 26, 2025, and I still have not received my refund. Called again today July 7, 2025, to check on my refund and now I am being told they still have not scanned the device back into their warehouse after having the package for more than five business days. Once again, I am being told after they scan the device back to the warehouse then they will process my refund in 7-10 business days. This is unacceptable and poor business practices. I will never again use this service. This was the first and last time they have to worry about me as a customer, and I would not recommend this service to any of my family or friends.

    I can confidently say that this is the worst service I have ever encountered—it's not even deserving of the title "service." You start by going to the website to file a claim, only to be directed to call in to submit your complaint. When you call, an automated recording keeps telling you to handle it online. Once you finally reach an agent, they hang up on you. When you try to complain, the agent informs you that managers are only available from 9 AM to 3 PM EST. However, when you call during those hours, you are told that they are not in. The website claims to offer 24/7 service. In the end, instead of receiving a replacement, you are told to bring the item in for repairs, and they will repair it for you. There is no replacement or shipment involved. You end up paying $129, taking it in for repairs, and then going back to pick it up once it has been fixed.

    My son has Assurant through T-Mobile. In April his phone was damaged and when he received the replacement, he wasn’t told to send the old phone back nor did he received a return label. Now in July we got a bill for $377 for non return phone. I called T-Mobile and was told to send the old phone back to Assurant, then we would receive a credit. So after 2 calls with T-Mobile and 5 calls with Assurant we still haven’t received any return label even though we provided both mine and my son’s email. On the last call with Assurant I was told that if we still didn’t receive it, then the problem was with both our emails. Funny thing is that I’m receiving emails from other companies and my son’s email is on file when he opened his account. We will be cancelling the coverage and definitely share our experience with family and friends.

    I would offer zero if possible. Submitted a claim. Received a "Requested and Approved" form from Assurant for a claim with One Part. One. That's it, simplest claim in the history of car repair. After work completed and customer paid their deductible, Assurant switched their story and pricing. Their nebulous "pricing guide" they rely on Google, only offered to pay us less than the actual cost us to buy, and the amount they approved. Kept blaming "Claims", and blaming "Payments". Spent two days charging us for a non-existent Rental Car, which we do not offer. One guy swore they only Pay "List Price", on their recorded line. If they bother to listen to the recording(s), it is a textbook case of numerous failings on their end for their own clients. Dealership invoice we submitted to get approval clearly states "List Price". Never was able to escalate to a human who didn't just spout "company policy" as the reason for undercutting their own approved amount.

    I personally sent proof of their approved amount to 4 different people. I was hung up on 2X. A promised "call back" in 30 minutes never materialized. In my opinion? Total Scam to repair facilities. Sending a clear cut approval, then backing out from it. Assurant is just another shady operation with no accountability to their customers or repair shops, when they aren't just hanging up on you. Steer clear, save your money from this shady operation. Josh was the last guy I spoke to. He stood firm on the "Company Policy" blather, then told me he is not the ultimate authority. Again, run away from this scam of an operation.

    I reported a claim and the representative was working with was unhelpful. I explained to him that my phone was completely water damaged and will not power on and I was at the T mobile store filing the claim and he insisted that he couldn't assess my account without sending a text to my phone which couldn't power on due to damage. So 2 hours later going through a constant back and forth with this representative he shipped the phone 5 to 10 days ground delivery instead of overnight delivery. Extremely horrible experience.

    I went online to file a claim as my son's phone was broken. Warped. Water damage. Broken screen. It said I had to go to a phone repair place, instead of the usual just send a new phone thing we've done in past years. I decided to go up to T-Mobile, as my husband said when his phone broke they replaced it there. The guy at T-Mobile also only had the option to take it to an Assurant phone repair place. He seemed like he had not seen this to be the only option before and was confused and apologetic. I took the phone to the repair place the following day, they said they would have it back by the next day. I didn't hear back for 4 days. In fact, I had to call them and they said my phone had been fixed for a couple days now..yet no one called me.

    The following day I was called and told the phone was not working. It worked but then the screen stopped working, so they told me to pick phone up and they'd deny the claim, or something along those lines, and we would have to do even more to get a new phone back to us. The process after this was very quick and easy..like them older days. I did think trying to fix the phone first was a pretty cool option, that way we didn't lose anything within the phone. I figured with water damage it wouldn't be doable, but I guess you phone guys know best. :)

    Wife phone screen was cracked. Phone was insured. Called and filed claim. Was told I could upgrade in store and give them broken phone. Was out of town for two days and not near T-mobile store. When I went into store, was told they don't do that at that store. Had to call and request replacement first. Phone arrived right before we left on 10 day vacation and had to be activated during travel. Agent should have known store couldn’t do replacement. We would have had phone 2 days earlier and would have activated prior to start of vacation.
