    Having insurance is good at times but when the deductible is as high as the phone it makes no sense to pay that. You can just purchase a new phone. And everything shouldn't be done on the computer. Most elderly people like myself can't keep up with this new stuff.

The other store never was told this the weekend so with your expedited it doesn't start till Monday. I have a disability child and no phone service sad..     Before I got my ZFlip 3 I did a little research and saw a few people had issue with the middle section of the phone where it folds. There's also not a lot of protective cases out there for this model so I kept insurance on it.     Company was horrible to deal with. Sat down with Spectrum the company they are covering insurance wise and read the term of service and cancellation policy. This company will make up their own rules so they won't have to cover you and save money even tho you are paying for the insurance just to save money, extremely rude employees and supervisors and offered no help or assistance at all besides making up policies at the last minute to avoid paying a claim or honoring the claim.

    I have paid $18/mo for this insurance through T-Mobile for the two years. I had my first claim through Assurant when my camera broke. I paid a $99 deductible and was quickly sent a refurbished phone with a scratched screen. I called and requested another replacement and was told that I had to send the phone in BEFORE they’d would send another replacement. Obviously this is my primary way to communicate. I cannot be without a phone while they process a phone that they never should have sent me. 1.5 hours on the phone with their inept customer service and no solution. Insure yourself for $20/mo + your $99 deductible. This company doesn’t stand behind their product or promises.

    Make it hard to pay online or the store. Give me run around the stores. States that you can't pay in store because it goes towards your bill not your claim.     To be as brief as possible. Assurant in my personal experience should change their name to NOT! One of the phones on our account was damaged beyond repair as described by a repair facility. A Claim was filed and a phone was replaced. The understanding was that because of the warm battery it was not to be sent back as stated by USPS as well was the understanding that was stated to our phone user. At best this was a misunderstanding, I can live with that. When speaking with Assurant they would send a RA and then the charge would be removed upon receipt of the phone. Phone was immediately returned.

    I got back on the phone with T Mobile and then then got Assurant on the phone. They stated that the phone was in the warehouse but not brought into inventory. Okay, waited a couple of days and called TMobile and got Assurance on the phone once again. They stated that they did have the phone and would be processing the refund of $659.00 which was charged on my account within one to two billing cycles/months. I was not aware of being required to give Assurant a 2 month interest free loan was part of my service that I signed up for. I've now spent over 5 hours on the phone with TMobile and Assurant. I can and will state, Assurant Customer Service gives you answers that they are of the impression are absolute regardless of the situation caused by their inability to process a return.

    Taking up to 2 months to remove a charge when the equipment has in fact been received as requested is absurd. The attitude of the Assurant Customer Service individuals in any other business would be a business death sentence. However, welcome to the world we now live in, where customer service is only for business locations that have to look you in the eye and actually have to do something to correct the situation.

    This is absolutely not the attitude of the Assurant Customer Service Individuals who I have at this point cancelled all Assurant Phone Insurance and have moved to my regular business insurance carrier that covers all of our phones, laptops, electronic devices, for a nominal increase in my current business insurance monthly bill. (At 1/4th of what we were paying). I will state that TMobile Customer Service for Business did everything in their power to have Assurant Fix the time delay in correcting the account. This review is my personal experience with Assurant Phone Insurance only.

    I had to use extended care in the past (some years ago) and back then I received a replacement within a day or two. This time, I had to wait 4 days to get a replacement device, which was very disruptive for my daily life (I use my phone privately and for work). I would strongly prefer you repair my device rather than sending me a refurbished one. I understand this would take longer, but I would still prefer this and use one of my old phones in the meantime. My device had local files that were not backed up to the Google cloud and it seems as if they will be lost forever. Maybe I would still have these files, had you repaired my phone. Moreover, I took good care of my phone and that's why I want my phone repaired and returned, not somebody else's phone that potentially was not taken care of as well as mine. And to my first point, if you send me somebody else's refurbished phone, you should get it to me within a day or two. It should not take four days.

    While I found the replacement service of Assurant acceptable (I would still pay $200 for a 2-year extended care), I'm very disappointed that my Pixel broke down (suddenly stopped working) in less than two years. I'm considering getting an iPhone next. A phone that cost me more than $1,000 should not suddenly stop working and be bricked. (I didn't fall down or get wet or anything like that.) I'm concerned about the workmanship of Pixel devices or (even worse) them being designed in a way that they are likely to break down in about two years. I find that unacceptable.

    I have never had any issues with claims. The major problem I’ve encountered with this insurance is the poor customer service. The representatives are rude, disrespectful, and show no consideration. I was charged for my old address, even after I called to update it. They didn’t process the change correctly, and I ended up being charged twice. When I called to resolve the issue, the representative, Flor, was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she questioned why and then told me the supervisor didn’t want to speak with me. I hope to receive my refund, but I now have to change all my payment methods to avoid future incorrect charges.

    Making my claim, paying my deductible, and receiving my device was very hassle free. I had the new device the next day. The watch that was sent was not properly reset and not able to be activated. Warranty exchange 1.... I'm on my third warranty exchange after the initial insurance replacement. SyncUp watches that will not activate for whatever reason. Assurant could have measures in place to ensure watches are totally factory reset before they are sent out. Still I find value in the service, my replacements come very quickly.
