I gave it 1 star because its's the lowest option and that's still too much much!! Allstate DOES NOT PAY their claims.. I was hit by one of their policyholders and they bullied me the whole time I spoke to them and sent a letter saying there was no proof that their policyholder was responsible, so they denied the claim. I did not call the police when it happened, but even people with police records have been denied. The own policyholder told me his car had issues stopping sometimes and that was the reason he rarely drove it. He gave me his insurance card and a pic of his driver's license ALLSTATE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!! BEWARE.. Get a lawyer, that's my advice to anyone that gets hit by an Allstate policyholder.

I have been with the Allstate company for over 15 years now without any claims, both home and auto. Over the Holiday we got into an accident. I was told by my claim contact person that we can take our vehicle anywhere to get it repaired. Now, after the vehicle is finally repaired Allstate refused to satisfy the repair cost, because the shop we chose, their labor rate is more expensive than the shops they normally do business with. Now, we left with $800.00 out of pocket. This was unacceptable! Allstate just want to take your hard earn money, but will not stand by you when you need them. Stay away from this company.

My brand new car was rear ended by a gentleman who did not have the ability to stop his car due to his impairments with Parkinson's disease. Allstate requested substantiated market data regarding diminution in value on the vehicle. This was accomplished via two creditable sources. In spite of evidence for the loss amount, Allstate stated "our compromise offer of $2000 is firm, no further offers of settlement will be voluntarily forthcoming." Their offer is less than half of the proven loss value. I required physical therapy which Allstate paid all but $174.92.

Medicare Consent release form was completed, however no payment was paid for my injury/treatment. Numerous contacts have been made for fair and reasonable resolution since the accident took place on June 21, 2018. Agents do not reply to any avenues of my communications. I am a nurse by profession. This unfortunate gentleman who rear ended me should not have been driving. Allstate failed to protect him from potential serious harm and all other travelers were at risk. "Allstate...You're in good hands" does not apply in this scenario.

Allstate client rear ended my daughter and totaled the nice little older ranger I bought 14 weeks earlier, took 9 days to even hear back from them, sent an adjuster over unannounced when nobody was around, never offered a rental car, and then had a “total loss rep” call me and tell me they were gonna only pay about $1300 less than what I just paid for, and if I didn’t like it take it up with my insurance company. Between CCC One and the total loss dept they should be investigated for the criminals they are. I intend to pursue this matter as far as I need to, up to them, it’s a matter of principle not money now.

On December 31, 2019 Allstate took almost $800 out of our account after a document was posted on our online account that our EZP Payment for the billing period was suspended. I have proof of the documents. They took almost the entire paycheck without permission and rent is due. Who does that? So Called them and said they need written documentation for dispute and it would have to be investigated after being reviewed and could take 10 business days. WTH!!! You’re wrong ALLSTATE!!! Still waiting on something from Allstate. Even the auto body shop is waiting to get started but haven’t heard back from them yet.

I started with as minimal coverage as possible, only what was required by my state. This price was decent for me. Over time, the rates gradually increased with each 6 month renewal, without me even changing the policy at all. Finally a few days ago, after my rates sneakily reached $20/month more than when I had started, I cancelled the policy and got a new policy from a company with a better deductible and back down $20/month. I had sent an e-mail with the notice to cancel the Allstate policy on the 13th, and then a few minutes later I got a response e-mail stating that my policy was cancelled, effective on the 13th. Good! Until they sent me a bill stating that I still owe an extra day of coverage and that my policy had been cancelled on the 14th! Guess they had to get me one last little bit for one last time. I definitely would not recommend Allstate to anyone. Not for any reason.

The claims adjuster finally responded to my email and she said the other driver and I are are saying word against word. If that was the case then the claim should have been closed when I filed it, because that is clearly stated in the police report that I submitted. The other driver said in front of the officer she did not know what happened. So how is that word against word, it's more like I know what happened and I told the officer and the other person was distracted. On Sept 16, 2019, I got hit by an Allstate insured when they illegally parked next to me moving into their new apartment. They were there for hours damaging my entire right side because they opened their doors while unloading babies, kids, furnishings, household goods, etc. I have home security pictures, signing sheet for visitor parking, police report and pictures of their vehicle license plates. I called Allstate, they said take it to my repair shop. After sending in claim, they said, they would not guarantee the work, since it's not one of their shops. Then they sent a contract photographer Nov 7. Nov 8 they denied my claim, saying they could not get a hold of the insured. Then they said they needed proof other than police report. I scheduled with one of their Hawaii contracted shops. The claim was sent in and I got emails saying let's get you back on the road. The repair shop scheduled me.

The rental car company confirmed my reservation saying I had to pay even though there was a claim and $29.99 day credit. So which is it? I complained. Allstate said they denied my claim. So which is it? They can't make up their minds. Lame. frustrating, unbelievable. Now they said, send in my proof of claims to a Texas address. Are you kidding me? Now you want me to go around and print out the evidence and send to a PO BOX? Ridiculous. All the while, my claim went to EXPRESS. When I first got into an accident with one of Allstate's insured drivers, the claims representative whom I spoke with, Eric **, was cordial at first; however, when it actually came to handling who was at-fault, split it up saying 60/40. 60% was the other driver's fault while 40% was mine. This made no sense since it was an obvious accident that was 100% caused by the other driver. Upon disagreeing with Eric and telling him over and over again that it was the other driver's fault, Eric just said the only recourse was arbitration. Not wanting to waste the time, money, and effort going to small-claims court I settled with the money. On top of that, I needed my car repaired immediately. Here is where Eric **'s awful service came in.

When I called his office, he was out. It was around 12:00pm when I called so I figured he was out on lunch. I called back at 1 PM the same day. Still no answer. Again at 2PM same day still no response. At this point, it felt like he was dodging my calls. I had to call more than 5 times to finally have this guy answer the call. When he answered he was very rude and said that the information about payment will be emailed to me. He never sent the email. He never gave me an estimate. He never gave a recommendation on what type of bodyshop I should take my car to. I had to take it a local bodyshop to get a estimate for my car. A week after I took my car to the bodyshop, Eric emailed me giving me a recommended bodyshop. This was only AFTER I made sure that the bodyshop contact Allstate to get an estimate for my car.

One of the WORST experiences I've had with any automobile insurance companies. Absolutely horrible service. The whole process to get a simple estimate for my car took about a month. Eric ** is a horrible claims representative. And if this is the type of person Allstate employs for claims, then I would never consider doing business with Allstate.

Had an accident, called Allstate to report it, Allstate forwarded the call to the agency, reported the accident to the agency rep, rep claimed it was now taken care of, but rep never entered accident report into the system. The adjuster then found it "odd" I didn't report the accident. Allstate eventually found me at fault for the accident - my car was stationary at a stop sign when someone else hit it. Adam was never available to talk about the issue. After I fired his agency and posted negative reviews, Adam suddenly had time to email, call. Now wherever I write a review, Adam claims I harassed him, and writes that I shouldn't have accidents. Not much a driver can do when not moving to avoid someone else hitting the stationary car. This agent is no good, and overall Allstate is the Bad Hands People.

From experience. Do not submit your claim with quick photo unless it is a very simple claim. I sent in 12 pictures with close up of the damage. I got back an estimate that just so laughable. It was quite clear they did not even look at the 12 photos. They did not replace the broken items and were replacing items that were not broken. It was so low ball that I did not even want to take that estimate to the shop. I called them up and got a lot of grief and attitude from the customer rep who said the shop can negotiate the change. I insisted they send out an appraiser and the rep refused. I asked to talk to the supervisor. After a few minutes she came back and then offer the adjuster to come out but used some technical lingo so she would not have to use the word adjuster. Still resolving this but the net is Do Not use the Quick photo.

After being told Allstate could not get me a tow truck an hour later, I was asked to get my own tow truck. At the time I had no way to pay for the service. I thought that the reason I had roadside assistance was so I’d never be stranded. Well, it was 20 degrees and stranded is exactly what happened. The next morning I was forced to repair my vehicle in UNO’s Pizzeria parking lot. Allstate could provide no answer as to why this happened. In the end, Allstate only pays $125 for tow and if you don’t have balance you are out of luck. I moved from MA to CA, and rather than transfer my existing policy balance to my new policy, Allstate charged me for 6 months on a new policy, then failed to cancel my old policy. Once they finally cancelled my MA policy, it took over a month for a $412 refund to be issued on the 6-months of insurance I had already paid in MA... that I was no longer using. I was assured for that month while I waited for the refund that my refund would be issued as a check, as the credit card I had initially paid the premiums on was no longer active. I was told that Allstate no longer even had the credit card on file, so the refund would absolutely be issued as a check. Get the refund on 11/12...onto the deactivated credit card. I'm now being told that Allstate does not have the ability to issue refunds to anything except the original payment method, meaning that other customer service representatives told me incorrect information for over a month. In summary:

    1) Allstate holds customer refunds for over a month (10/2 - 11/12) without paying interest on the cash owed to the customer.
    2) Allstate stores credit card information on your account even after you've asked to have it removed.

    3) Allstate customer service representatives either don't know their own policies, or they tell their customers whatever they want to hear without being able to execute on it.

I've cancelled my policy and wouldn't recommend their coverage.

I never have seen or heard of any accident forgiveness through them. So I don't believe that's possible, my agent never mentioned it ever. I asked my agent about why I was being punished considering my record and they had nothing to say. They "understand" my frustration. I really do not buy that one bit. So it will take either my rates going back down and reimbursing me for that change, or something significant, not an empty sorry.

Was in auto accident with Allstate policy holder. The accident was her fault, police report to back it up. Contacted my insurance as well as Allstate. Allstate’s adjuster called the next day to give me the name of a shop and to set up a rental car. Took the car to the shop. Went to Enterprise, unable to get through them, called adjuster and let her know. Was told “call around and find a car”. As she was unwilling to do so, found one place 40 miles from my home, missed day and a half of work, huge deposit plus daily rental of $67.00 a day!!! Car in the shop for 2 days before the estimate of damages were finalized, shop says “10 business day”. Was originally told they paid $24.00 a day for rental when adjuster received the estimate, she paid only 10 days total at a rate of $20.00 a day.

I asked what about the 2 days in the shop before the estimate? What about the weekends between the business days? Her response, “not our problem, shop said 10 days. That’s all we pay." Acted like the $200.00 was a favor to me, plus had to pay Uber to take me 40 miles away. Basically was will happen according to the “not our problem, we aren’t paying anything else”, I would have to turn car in on Fridays, go back Monday, pay another large deposit plus daily rate for 3 weekends!!! Are you kidding me?? But their policy holder has a free rental and guess what? Weekends are covered.

I just hope and pray you are never involved in an accident with an Allstate client and you do not have Allstate!! You will be totally screwed!! I also, will be adding photos to my review. One will show only the few scratches the at fault has and my $5500.00 in damages. If I ever thought of changing my insurance to Allstate, they’ve made my decision to NEVER use them!!!! And I am letting everyone I knkw about my horrendous experience!!! BTW, they do not even deserve the 1 star rating.

They treated me as it was my fault which it was not the other person was ticketed. Never was able to talk to my agent, never got a rental & eventually had to hire an attorney. These people (Allstate) only care about how little they can get away with paying not your health or well being. We canceled them & went elsewhere for coverage & would never recommend them to anyone. It has been a constant battle to get my Allstate property claim to be paid in full. We had a storm damage to our roof with kitchen area leaking and shingles missing. The first adjuster came out only to be told they’ll replace small amount of shingles and patch up the leak area. I completely disagree of their findings after I got a Contractor to come out and did a full inspection. Allstate sent a second adjuster to come out, inspect the roof. The 2nd adjuster found more damage on the roof than the first adjuster, but again only covers another small spots of shingles when there are more damage to be covered. I expressed to Allstate that putting a batch or bandages on the damage will not sustained over period of time. I just want to be made whole again. I cannot count on this insurance company to have my back when needed. It’s been hell fighting with them regarding my claim. They sure don’t give me hell when it’s time for me to pay my premium.

I purchased an auto insurance policy online on August 16, 2019. I paid the 6-month policy in full ($971.37) and made no changes to the original quote that was given to me. On September 19, 2019, I check online to obtain a copy of my policy and I see that they increased my premium $464.28. I did not receive any kind of notice or statement saying that my policy premium would increase. When I spoke with them over the phone, Jordan ** stated that the underwriter did not know why the premium increased but that there was nothing that could be done. As frustrated as I already felt, I purchased another auto insurance policy with another carrier and cancelled my Allstate insurance. When I asked how much of the premium I already paid for in full was to be refunded, they said that the amount that would be refunded would be prorated based on the increased premium amount and not the original quoted premium.

Basically, I was quoted one premium which I paid in full upfront. Then, I get charged a higher premium without notice. Finally, I cancel my policy the same day I find out and they don't even give me my full refund from what was originally quoted to me. I will never use Allstate again and will advise all my friends, family, and anyone else who uses Allstate to switch because they basically took my money without any consequences to them.

As a long-term satisfied customer of Allstate Insurance, I have had my cars and home insured for many years. Much to my surprise, after moving into a new home, I received a letter that my homeowners insurance would be canceled. The reason was "granular damage" on the roof. When I questioned this decision, I was told an inspector came out after we moved in and determined the damage. My wife is home everyday and NEVER saw an inspector at our house. Furthermore, the previous inspection on the home did not reveal this problem. When I questioned my agent's office, I was told I could keep the insurance if I agreed to pay 30% of the total cost to replace the roof in the next ten years. This would amount to approximately $5,000. I have now switched insurance companies.

I believe Allstate does this to new home buyers to avoid paying for a new roof. Most roofs in Texas require replacing in ten years due to hail possibilities. If they set up a system where they receive premiums for several years and then only pay 70% for a roof replacement, they recoup their losses. This is a form of a scam and I believe most people fall for it and accept the decision. I will never use Allstate again.

I was not able to get a rental car until after the 8 days. They then only put me in a compact car when I drive a luxury large sedan.

It is now 4 weeks in and they decided to finally total my car out but now are taking the rental away when they haven't even sent a check to my lien holder. They aren't even close to sending it since they still haven't even look into the title on my car. It is 100 degrees. I am 6 miles from work and now having to ride a bike to and from work and also have a 8 year old son at home that I now have to worry about how I am going to get him to and from school. This is absolutely sad how they treat people and how they manage their time and mine. I will never get insurance through Allstate and would tell everyone else to think twice before even getting a quote. I switched from Geico to Allstate nearly 1 year ago and I've had a perfectly good driving record. A few weeks ago my wife opened her car door and barely nicked another car - to the point that it was so small, it was difficult to capture in the photo (see attached image). The man was near his car and unfortunately filed a claim through his insurance. Being so minor I'm not sure why he did, but that's his choice. I got a call from Allstate later that day and they said (and I quote), "We're calling in regards to the collision claim". I explained that it was not a collision in any regard - which the pictures clearly show.

Allstate informed me that "hitting a parked car with a moving vehicle or opening the car door into a vehicle are both considered a collision."... Due to their ridiculous classification, my monthly insurance rates have now increased $40 per month from a nick that might cost $150 - $200 (max) to fix. I left Geico because they raised my rates from $190 per month, to $380 per month from ONE ticket I received. I thought I was "in good hands", but now I am coming to the realization that Allstate is just another insurance company - criminals.

It seems that Allstate's policy is to do these things to avoid paying out claims. My auto insurance carrier had to interview an eyewitness, listen to testimony and still Allstate finds the fault to be 50/50. In California, you are absolutely screwed unless you have an eyewitness. People will lie, cheat, and steal their way out of liability. Even then, Allstate does not want to pay for the damage caused by their driver. I will look into hiring a lawyer.

I said "You gave me one quote when you thought I had better insurance then when you found out what insurance I have and you gave me a higher quote. Therefore you are penalizing me. You may think it’s not but you're not the one paying the bill, I am. I thought you were trying to get me as a customer not run me off". I will never go with Allstate and I will do my best to keep everyone that I know from going with Allstate as well. Finally, when I got a hold of another office to help me out I was told I still had to pay double what I was originally told. I feel extremely taken advantage of. Allstate handled this situation so poorly. I will ensure all of my friends and family know not to use them. Those I have told are mortified I would be treated like this. All I asked was to pay what was originally asked of me. I was told there was a two-day gap between policies. Sadly, that was the agent's fault that ruined my account and disappeared in the first place. They took no ownership of the situation. Please do not use this company.

Family was with Geico for 27 years and left (random increase in premiums). Left for Allstate and learned through house damage and car accident that Allstate is the worst. Incompetent staff. You will literally get different answers from different representatives. It's been a month since the car accident and still no reimbursement because of the unclear answers. Also, was told they only cover the rental for 7 days if it's a total loss. So we took an Uber for two-three days. Called Allstate again and was told, "oh we cover the rental for 30 days, you were misinformed and we will not reimburse you for the Uber." Later, was told to provide a statement from the bank stating no liens on the car then we will be reimbursed. The car had been paid off for 5 years.

We went to the bank as requested. Bank sent a statement. We call Allstate and they say, "oh by the way you should have sent a copy of the title weeks ago so that is why you have not been reimbursed." Wow so I got two different answers and still have not been reimbursed a month later. It would take hours for me to tell you about the home experience with Allstate. Just know even in house damage the staff are incompetent and provided us with wrong information for months. We are still living in a rental because they have not repaired the house. Just know they are quick to take your money but when it comes to tragedies they will gladly misguide you intentionally.

Even the guys insurance that hit me has been more professional than Allstate. We are leaving Allstate next year. Document all of your phone calls/communications with Allstate. Most incompetent staff. I told my family we will either go back to Geico or try out Progressive. I am still driving a rental. And I told them if I drive it past 30 days they will have to pay it since all the staff gave me wrong information. When I questioned the body shop they said, "We can’t lose business from an insurance company just for 1 vehicle." I insisted to take my car to a different body shop but not Allstate denied assembling the car parts back thus making it non-drivable.

I had a third party claim with All State and all I can say is this company is a complete nightmare to deal with in my opinion. I’m sure all insurance companies are the same but wanted to provide some of what I learned.

    1. I was forced into using salvaged parts for your repair unless I paid the difference for Original manufacture parts. This means taken from a car that was likely totaled.

    2. Make sure to file a diminished value claim to recoup the loss of resale value due to your vehicle. When your car is damaged it is reported on websites like Carfax, you will absolutely lose value and you are entitled in most states to be compensated for this loss for 3rd part claims. They will tell you it will take 7-8 weeks for them to get back with you. Get an appraisal and submit a claim. Then call 2-3 times a day until you get someone on the phone to address your claim. Make sure to do this as they want you to be exhausted and give up. If after you don’t get your claim moving aim an acceptable time frame. I’d suggest you start legal proceedings with your local small claims court. If you have injuries or other claims to make sure to talk to an attorney as any court settlement may affect your ability to future claims.

    4. Don’t give up and understand the adjuster is there to make sure you get as little money as possible.

    5. Know your rights, contact an attorney if you have substantial damages, are injured or don’t feel confident working with the insurance company. Dealing with this insurance company will only cause you undue stress.

I am not an attorney and this is only my opinion based on my experience. Make sure you get every penny you deserve!

I filed a claim one day after my accident. It is now 4 and a half months past my claim and my car is still nor repaired. Allstate is persistent in using used parts to repair my BMW where my auto shop reached out the vendor recommended by Allstate to secure the used parts and the parts are not available and/or damaged. Once my auto shop advise Allstate of the issue, it takes them a week to follow-up and/or at least 7 days to visit the shop once my shop advised on additional needs.

Not to mention: I met the first adjuster who came out to approximate damages and the Allstate's inspector never delivered the report where a 2nd adjuster completed the assessment--this event alone delayed repairs by two weeks. I reached out the office of the president and spoke to an irreverent representative who showed complete apathy concerning my experience while I pay money out of my pocket in addition to Allstate expectations of continued premium payments. I could go on and on... Please ensure companies appreciate your business and take heed of my experience with Allstate.

I have had nothing but awful experience with Allstate and I have only been with them for 7 months. I got into a car accident March 21st of 2019 and still today it is not finished! And it’s almost mid May. I would be calling Allstate every day for almost 2 months straight and would continue to get different answers from every agent. No one knew what they were doing. Today I FINALLY got my check in the mail but they sent it out wrong and I can’t even cash it. They are now reissuing it for the 3rd time. Absolutely awful service. Once my check is cashed, this insurance will immediately be dropped. I still am without a car.

Then he went on to say we will not be able to get the coverage we have now again. Our insurance went up a total of $400 a year with no claims. Our vehicles are older and no reason for it. I was told because of state increases. Let me say the two ladies that have been there forever were extremely nice. The new young girl you need to put back at fast food she is lazy and rude. It is sad to say after all these years The owner is letting his business go down because he wants to pass it on to a child, that definitely needs world experience before taking on this business. Latrece **, the adjuster at Allstate made a bad situation into a worse one. This woman was angry and was certain to let me have it despite what I just experienced. My children were in an accident and the car was total by their policyholder. I asked if she could be kinder 3x but she continued with sarcasm. I tried to bring to her attention the rude unkind way she was conversing with me and then became combative. Asking how she was rude? "When? I don’t see it? I’m not yelling?"

I work with the public and one should never ask those questions which will only increase tension. Spoke to her Manager Glen and asked for a change of adjuster and he politely said no, smh. Wow, if you want to be treated as a person especially when you have just experienced a very bad accident DO NOT work with Allstate. Have your insurance policy do so. Shame on you Allstate for hiring people with no compassion or patience and not training your employees on customer service etiquette.

My son had an accident and totaled my vehicle (a sports car) and the company stalled and made up everything they could to try to find him at fault and not pay out on the claim. It took more than a month of them repeatedly asking for the same information, trying to get police reports, making up excuses like they were out on leave, wanting him to sign an affidavit, and even trying to say they needed him to confirm his address as if they couldn't pull his MVA records! It was the worst claims handling ever! The matter was not resolved until I escalated to a Claims supervisor just before filing a lawsuit. My regular Allstate rep, the claims handler, the investigator, and claims adjuster ALL SUCKED!! I would never recommend that anyone use this company. And in the end, they still HAD TO PAY!!!

I made a valid claim on renter's insurance policy bought from Allstate. Allstate claims representative, David **, yelled at me over phone that the security deposit is never returned to the renter and that I bought the lowest premium renter's insurance from Allstate. He completely discredited the Allstate product on the phone and took no responsibility. He never contacted the landlord or the property manager to get any more information.

Now this claim, as a risky claim, is on my credit report forever. I can no longer obtain any renter's insurance or homeowner's insurance. How can I be a risky applicant if I am sent a proper written document by the property manager at the time of the move-out? The Homeowner Association, landlord and the property manager reported a written incidence of damage and have held $950 from me and this is the amount I paid from my pocket. The fact that All State couldn't do its job by saying that a working number of the landlord and the property manager didn't get them connected, has nothing to do with my being risky. It's just gross incompetence of their team.

I was involved in a hit & run accident on March 25, 2019. I submitted an insurance claim with Allstate insurance. I was given a claims representative by the name of J. **. Mr. ** called me shortly after my claim was submitted and instructed me to submit a police report as soon as it was available. On April 4, 2019 I was able to receive my police report from the Louisiana State Police and I uploaded a copy to the Allstate website under my claim. I telephoned Mr. ** and left a voice mail message informing him that I had done so, also. Several days went by and I never heard from my agent or Allstate. I again called Mr. ** and again left a message to return my phone call. I never received any return call.

Another week went by and I once again called my agent, but this time his number was coming back as unavailable. I immediately thought this was strange and called Allstate and was routed to the Nashville office where I was informed that my agent had quit his job and my claim had never been processed. This was 3 weeks after I had submitted my police report. During that period, I was forced to utilize Uber back & forth to college where I am a full time law student. It cost me at that point $181.79 out of my already minimal budget to get to school. I feel Allstate is liable for this, but they claim no fault.

I have submitted a complaint with Allstate and their response is “your policy does not cover rental insurance so you cannot be reimbursed for this expense”. This is ridiculous because if my claim had been processed immediately upon receiving a copy of my police report, I would have received the funds necessary to either repair my vehicle or replace it. My vehicle was just picked up yesterday, 4/25/19 and taken to an auto body shop for repair estimates. I am now over a month since my accident.

An Allstate insured driver ran a stop sign and broadsided my truck. We exchanged info and the other driver admitted fault to Allstate. I did the photo claim through Allstate and they estimated the repairs at $1684.00. I put my truck in the shop on 3/27/19. I called the shop on 04/01/19 to see if they heard from Allstate. They did not, but the shop used the "Virtual Assist" app, that Allstate uses, to supplement the cost of repairs for an additional $1901.00. (This is not the first time the shop did repairs for Allstate so they know what they are doing.) On 04/05/19 I called the shop and they still had not heard from Allstate and re-sent the supplement on the app.

On 04/11/19 my claims adjuster called me back after I left a voicemail and said she never got any supplement. 3 times they sent it. Finally, they sent it directly to her. She said they only sent the original estimate (1684) and I asked her what the amount was on the estimate they sent her and she said 1901. My reply “that is the supplement, the original was 1684”. She said oh, well they need to send it to another email address. Really?

I gave her the phone number of the shop on one of the many voicemails I left her so she could speak to them directly, but apparently she didn’t listen to that message, because she asked me for their phone number about 30 minutes later. I stood in the office of the body shop, on the phone with her and talking to the body shop trying to get this done. I should send a bill for my time working on this claim. Ridiculous. So after 2 weeks they finally got an adjuster out to look at the truck. Then the rent-car co started charging my card since Allstate didn’t extend the rental period. The rental co took care of me (enterprise was great). Allstate extended my rental period till 4/4/19. The problem? This was 4/11/19. Absurd.

The adjuster estimated the total cost to be about $2495 (I don’t recall the exact number) so he turned that in on 04/12/19. On 04/15/19 I spoke to her supervisor and she extended the rental period. I told her that I found a car to drive and was turning the rent car in that day, as I didn’t want to have any more issues about Allstate covering the rental. Enterprise credited my account and they were great about the whole experience. So the body shop got a check to cover the additional amount over the 1684 and Allstate told me they would be sending the check for the original estimate (1684) to the body shop. Guess what?

On 04/17/19 I called Allstate and lo and behold my claims adjuster took the week off. So I spoke to another guy who told me they never cut the check for the original estimate because there was no title or something? I have no idea what he meant, but he said it was probably an oversight and he would get the check cut. I called my claims adjuster many times and she answered the phone 3 times. All the other times it went straight to voicemail, which said she was obligated to return my call that day. Hahahaha, that didn’t happen. While I do not have an Allstate auto policy, I do have a flood policy on my home through Allstate and I did have Allstate homeowners and auto policies in the past, but they were too high.

You’re in good hands. Really? Maybe those hands should answer a phone, write a check, address an envelope, put that check in it and drop it in the mail.

My neck was sore after the accident, but it felt better shortly afterward so I didn’t try to make a claim about that. My collar bone was sore a few days, but I didn’t make a claim on that either. Maybe I should have. They start throwing money at you then. I probably could have gotten the money for my truck by now because they would want to settle before anything else happened. If you have an accident involving Allstate, stay on them or they will do nothing for you. I bet the insured driver who hit my truck has already been taken care of. But then again, maybe not. This adjuster told me she was new. I don’t know if she didn’t know what to do or if she just didn’t care. Still waiting for the check….

Where do I begin? As an Uber driver I was rear ended on a state highway in NH by a driver in operation of a vehicle supposedly owned by his significant other that was insured by All-State. The driver slammed my car from behind at twice my speed during an ice storm in early 2017. The driver did not stop after collision but I was able to catch the vehicle almost a mile down the highest. Police were called. The driver was irate with me... Claiming I slammed on my brakes. An excuse the local responding police were able to see right through. Also arriving on scene within minutes was the vehicle owner... The significant other of the driver. She clearly stated that the vehicle was owned and insured by Allstate Insurance Co. and was currently insured. She verbally cited her policy number to me then left. We were all then released.

The driver who possessed an out of state southern driver's license was ticketed for following too closely and driving too fast for conditions... Damage to my car (an Enterprise rental contracted with Uber) was over $6,000.00. The following morning I made all my calls to report the accident including to Allstate in which coverage was confirmed to be that of the driver's girlfriend. About a month later I hired an attorney to sue Allstate along with the driver and owner. Allstate brought in an attorney of their own to represent the driver and owner and subsequently got the case dismissed based on a loophole of personal jurisdiction... Where we filed in MA where I live. Since then Allstate was played game after game against me. Making the driver disappear off the map... Altering the name of the insured party... And changing the coverage on the vehicle.

After compiling all my losses... Between lost wages, medical bills, chiropractor bills, and other various losses... The total amount of losses on my end topped over $80,000. Due to the games this fraudulent company played over the last 24 or so months I have slowly lost everything. During the last 9 months or so Allstate has again tried using various loopholes to discredit me. And after being given an ultimatum to either settle or face court these jerks through their Claims department raised an offer of a measly $1230!!! What a joke.

The moral of my story? Allstate has their slogan through commercials featuring well known celebrities... "You're in good hands". Well apparently this is true for their own clients. But if you're against them... This sinister and fraudulent company will stop at nothing and will do ANYTHING to protect their own including illegal acts... Altering paperwork... Policies... Amounts... Names on policies... Etc... With a three year statute of limitations through the state of NH Allstate is trying to stall me and my attorney as long as possible. Hoping I give up. Their claims rep is a joke! Their legal department is a bigger joke!!! And if I can find a way to bring them down as I'm certain many other people have shared similar experiences... I refuse to give up! This type of activity needs to go public! People need to know what kind of company All-State Insurance really is! A self-absorbed fraud!

Prior to hospitalization, I spoke with a representative and she provided me with the necessary documents to submit for approval for my hospitalization and STD claim. After my discharge, I submitted all the necessary documents and claims. My hospital claim was paid out within a timely manner, but when checking on the STD claim, it continued to state "no decision, wait for 48hrs". After 2 weeks, I reached out a representative and they proceeded to tell me that I did not have STD coverage. I stated that I was notified by both my employer and a representative at Allstate. Following weeks, I spoke to multiple individuals who said the same thing. I told them that I had proof and pay stubs that showed weekly deductible for the policy. No answer, no word.

Finally, today 3/22, over a month after the initial claim, I am notified that I have been denied the claim. When I asked why they stated that it was because my issue was considered a pre-existing condition. The company took 4 weeks to find a loop-hole to deny me coverage after finding that I did, in fact, have coverage. Poor customer service and communication because I had to call multiple times for the information. Also, before I filed the claim, I was on the phone for a while with a representative combing through the policy to determine if there was any fine print that may interfere with the payout.

And the reason for my "pre-existing condition: My first day of effective coverage was 01/01/2019 and my surgeon printed on the document that I was seen in the office for a consultation on 12/18/2018, a whole two weeks before my effective date and a whole two months before my actual procedure. The money is not the issue, possible $400-500 payout after taxes. The point is the guarantee of peace of mind, which is promised. If you pay for this policy out of pocket, please do your research, read the fine print and DOCUMENT every encounter.

I had this issue with Aflac five years ago after paying the monthly, they found a loop-hole to deny coverage. It is unfortunate that there are no government regulations on insurance companies on failure to pay benefits after collecting premiums. Luckily for me, I was able to make do without their immediate payout, but what if I was on a fixed income and in a financial bind, relying on that money prescription meds or co-pays during a vulnerable time? Shame on you.

Allstate: Your clients count on you to make good on your promises in their time of need. My experience with customer service was subpar and misleading. Very disappointed. I will continue to make this public on all platforms until things change, if not for me, the next individual.

Long story short I was in an accident 3 months after I received the policy, and a pick up truck hit my front bumber. No one was hurt, but I did have damages on the passenger side bumper. I exchanged information with the other party. In which they had Allstate Insurance as well. After I made a claim and sent pictures of my damages through their app, I was assigned to Nakisha **. She was the worst claims adjuster I've ever experience. I could tell she didn't like her job with so much attitude and lack of customer service.

She took weeks to return my calls after leaving several voice messages. The other insurer claims adjuster was supposed to contact me to get my statement, and he never called. I try to reach out to him because it was also delaying the process but he never return my my calls at all. A few days later I receive a email with a bogus claim estimate of $639. In which my damages were well over $1900. A week later I received a call from Nakisha ** stating that my claim was denied because the other insurer adjuster could not come to a mutual agreement.

That doesn't make sense so I have to pay out of pocket for car damages that I didn't even cause, and I am paying my monthly premiums on time faithfully. So now I have to get a lawyer involved which I was trying to avoid with all cause. I have never experience any insurance company who I could not rely on. I did not feel that Allstate was on my side. I took numerous pictures, called the police, and tried to do the right thing by filing a claim. I advised neither I nor the other vehicle had damage. They advised me to send my pictures to a claims email address, which I did. Several times. I got continuous text messages pestering me for pictures. Finally I called them and they told me I had to submit via app in lieu of email. The only problem is the pictures have to be actually taken through the app... you can't upload them. And the issue with that is from the beginning, in the app you have to have a claim number.

Anyway, I called again, explained the situation, they told me they only accept pictures through the app. I continued to get phone calls and text messages wanting pictures. I continued to tell them everything I've just said. Just when I thought it was over, I got a text message for an appointment they sent me for auto body repair. Then the auto body place called to verify the appointment. I was livid and called my agent and they were quite rude and told me they'd call me back. The next day they called and basically told us they didn't know why the appointment was made.

Two months later, at renewal, my premiums went up 70 a month. I expected an increase, but not that much seeing as there was no damage to either vehicle. They told me they settled a claim for 1700 because they didn't want to litigate. I said litigate what- there was no damage to either vehicle. Furthermore, I submitted pictures multiple times and they apparently weren't even reviewed. I warned I was searching for new auto insurance and the only thing they had to say for themselves regarding their horrible customer service was to let them know what they could do to ease my transition. I explained to them that I was having a lot of car trouble, even though I was taking it to my mechanic.

It came to a head when the truck wouldn't even start one day in my driveway, after I had just spent yet more money having it fixed. I wanted to have it towed to my mechanic one more time, as I had sold it to a mechanic there who wanted it for parts. I called Allstate Roadside Assistance and they REFUSED to come and tow it away! They told me I had to wait three days because my "policy would not renew until that certain date." I was furious. I had already checked my bank balance earlier that week and saw that Allstate had indeed cashed my check for $97.

So even though they had my money, they would not come and tow the truck away. Both of the phone reps I spoke to were cold foreigners (and VERY difficult to understand because of their HEAVY accents), one of whom lectured me for being "unprofessional." Really? It was unprofessional to take my money and then NOT PROVIDE the service I had paid for! So my dead truck sat in the driveway for 3 more days until Allstate's arbitrary deadline was finally satisfied, and then I called them back and they towed the truck away. But I was DONE with them. I was so mad I canceled my car insurance with them as well. Don't go with Allstate, unless you want to be left abandoned by the side of the road.

I have been with Allstate since I was a teen. When my bank account was compromised I went online to change billing information well before my billing date. Apparently, changes aren't handled well on their computer system. So, as a result of this mishap on their part, my account was closed. I tried to resolve the problem but to no avail. No one would work with me to help fix it. They claimed that because I live in California, they couldn't help me because of special law in the state. I had to go to another insurance provider. To make it worse, they actually sent me to collections because they claimed I canceled my account early. Imagine that. They closed my account and then blamed me for it. Incredible.

I purchased Allstate Auto Insurance last week on March 2, 2019 for my son when I bought him a Honda Accord. The salesperson at the dealership called so that we could get insurance before we left the lot. Since then it has been a horrific experience with countless emails for programs I did not sign up for, discount offers to the point of harassment. I paid in full for his policy but I keep getting emails my Auto Pay has been cancelled and unless I pay the policy premium he will be cancelled.

I already paid the premium in full for the next 6 months and they keep sending emails trying to get another payment. This is nothing but FRAUD. This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. Allstate is totally dishonest. Everyday for the last 9 days I have gotten 3 emails per day totaling 27 emails since I bought this car. I have called the local agent that sold us the policy and even though he admits the policy was paid in full he keeps sending emails trying to get more money for a policy paid in full.

I discussed with Allstate the rental because I live in the mountains and require a 4 wheel drive, which they agreed to because my car is an Audi RS5 - with 4 wheel drive. After I paid my rental they reimbursed $37 per day for an SUV rental, while it cost us $70 per day. In what world SUVs are rented out for $37???! Would not advise this company! I have a medium sized SUV with AWD and I now am unable to go to work until a rental comes. The rental they assigned me is a very small economy car although I requested a vehicle of similar characteristics as mine. Small economy cars do not drive well in the snow and ice, and we are supposed to be getting a lot this weekend. I should AT LEAST be given a vehicle of similar type to what I had before their policyholder smashed it up.

Allstate is the enemy. They are the WORST! Here’s my (son's) experience. He was driving down a major street. An Allstate driver on his right instantaneously cut across the front of his car to take a left causing my son to hit him and damage his front passenger side. Allstate sent THEIR adjuster out and said car was totaled. It was not and could be fixed. They gave him a rental for 5 days and said they usually only give 2 day rentals!! The first person from Allstate my son spoke to was so rude and awful my son reported him. The communication was terrible. No callbacks and very obvious they wanted to bury this claim fast. The car value to be replaced was average 7000+. They offered 3500 + taxes etc which came to 3800 and change PLUS THE CAR!!!

We told them we wanted the car FIXED not taken. The car was fixable as my son explained he was told by auto body shop for about 3800. We told them no way were they going to take a perfectly maintained car (he just spent 3000+ on car battery as well as other work within last 6 mos). Then the agent then changed her tune and said it’s possible to keep car but now the payout would be 3500 minus 1200 + (the value of what a salvage company would pay them...)??? Taxes and more BS. So now my son would get 2300 if lucky plus she said if we went that way the title would have to be “salvage." I went ballistic and said the car WAS NOT SALVAGE!! Then she made up this coverup story that since car was paid in full it was not necessary. We said that we should be able to get a check for 3800 TO FIX THE CAR. NOT FOR THEM TO TAKE THE CAR AND SELL IT TO SALVAGE!!!

If you keep your car they penalize you!!! This is how they pressure the consumers to make $$$. They give you a 2 DAY rental. Which means after having a traumatic event (in this case where they said THEIR client was 100% at fault) you have to find something FAST... Like today. And will not have time to find a good deal which would make one go to a dealer, finance a car, and have a great unexpected expense since ALLSTATE goal is pay out the lowest token of money while the client's back is against the wall.

They bragged that they come out and pay right away when the true scheme is "Hurry up... Take the lousy, dishonest, deceitful deal that we, the self serving, insurance company are offering so we can continue to make billions on your misfortune." They want to take a fixable car... Offer you money that no way can replace a similar car. Not to mention the sales and excise taxes you’ll need to pay, and make the victim take out a loan (suppose they cannot??) to buy another vehicle. The aggravation and mental stress can be overwhelming since you see there is no support only a company who will totally disregard common sense and fight for their profits.

Allstate is quite nice and eager to sign you up for their Milewise program. It is a good idea but the equipment, transponder in your car and their systems receiving the signals have some serious technical issues. I have been using it since Jan. 2019 on my 4 cars. Clearly some of them stay inside the nice warm garage this time of year. 3 weeks after installing the transponders and driving each car to initialize the transponder, I started getting emails from Allstate saying they haven't seen any activity on my transponders for 3 weeks and I may have a problem. I got these every day from that point forward. I didn't think much about it since I knew my cars were tucked away in the garage for winter. Then I got an email saying they were sending me new transponders because they were broken. So I installed the new ones and sent the old ones back in the envelope provided.

Then 1 week later, I get an email and a phone call from Allstate saying that I need to install my new transponders by the next day or I will be charged 40 miles per day and to call them back if I had any questions. So I called them back and told them I installed the new transponders and mailed the old ones back a week ago. I told them the whole reason I switched to Milewise is because I don't drive my cars that much so with 20 inches of snow in the ground, I am not going to have my Mustang out of the garage, so there wouldn't be any activity on it. They said they need to have the transponder pinged every day or they charge 40 miles for the day. I told them it is in a metal insulated home garage so their system probably can't see it. They said that they will charge me 40 miles a day until it can.

The whole point was to not pay for something I wasn't using and now they want to charge me for something I'm not using. They then said that since the transponders aren't working for me, that I needed to change to Milewise unlimited but that charges 250 miles a day but you don't use a transponder. I don't even drive 250 miles in 1 week! The people from Allstate Milewise program were very rude, unhelpful, and are definitely trying to jack up your rates after selling you a pay by mile program. I would not recommend this product and maybe even this company due to their poor customer service.

This review is about Allstate in general and my local office. Allstate in general: Allstate is extremely overpriced. They lure you in at reasonable rates and then drop discounts left and right. I’m paying LESS for *a year* (auto and home) with Liberty than I was paying for 6 months at Allstate. My local office (Bruno Suttman): So this particular office is excruciating to work with. They never answer the phone (16% rate - yes I have called many times and came up with that accurate %). They are apparently unable to handle their call volume (per Donna) and are inefficient at multitasking.

They are unable to send an email in a timely fashion. I was told that my issue “is not the end of the world” - that other customers are more important. This isn’t just one instance. I have been with Allstate for over four years and every time I have reached out I have had issues with their communication and ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion. This particular time, Donna actually yelled at me about how she is too busy and doesn’t have time to do her job... Just warning you that if you’re an Allstate customer it’s impossible to avoid getting transferred to your local agent which unfortunately for us is this place.

If I ever get in a car wreck and I am at fault honestly I would love my insurance policy holder to take good care of whoever I got their car damaged and not to put them into depression. It has been two months now that this company is not able to settle the payment of my car that they verbally approved the estimate of the car and never even sent an adjuster to take a look of my car prior to that.

Clearly spoke with adjuster Nikita ** and after 5 days of the car being at the shop she clearly told me to let the mechanic know to go ahead on the car and now they have a complete new adjuster on the claim that tells us that he goes by her note and they need a supplement on an estimate clearly approved by the former adjuster. They stopped paying for the rental, I got charged extreme amount of money on my card from rental. How can you schedule a rental for 5 days without even made arrangements with the mechanic of how long the repair will be etc... And I am down on Uber or catching the bus to go to work due to the fact that I don’t want to lose my job.

I am going into depression right now. Can’t do anything without my car. I don’t know what to do anymore. What would I be paying the rest of the money that I don’t even have for an accident that was not at fault. I am stuck now from my regular activities. I would not invest in this type of insurance and I know that the guy is paying full coverage. This is just unpleasant, I am stressed and I am losing it for real...

I have the worst luck. A guy named Kenny ran in to the back of my parked SUV. He left a note so when I found it I texted him and he said he had Allstate insurance and they would take care of it and he got and became a smartass and told me not to text him anymore so I waited till the next day cause he said first thing at 12:00 pm. I texted him again a half hour later. He sent me the information and say to me I BETTER WATCH MY MOUTH and not to text or call him again??

Well for one I never called him. Here is where I deal with ALLSTATE. I call now. They have already heard what he told them so they ask about my SUV. There's not a scratch on it till Kenny hit it so I do everything they ask. Sent pic in on their app. I asked about a rental car. She, "Yeah we'll take care of all that," and she said, "If you don't have full coverage that Allstate will cover that." So that was 2-20-2019.

I can get my SUV in the shop today so I call about a rental car again. Everything is fast. Yeah. They use Enterprise car rental. Right after I got off the phone with Allstate Enterprise calls. Let me remind you it's 3:30pm in Omaha Neb. The lady ask when I need a rental. I said now. She, "I'm so sorry. There's none available." I said, "Really." She said she could get me one on Friday. I said okay then she said there's a deposit. What card would I like to have on file. I said none. I said I didn't do Anything wrong. She said she can get me a rental till I did this. I said I'll call Allstate back.

I hung up and called Enterprise. Ask for a car. They have more cars available right then so who is lying? So I said I would get back to them. Hung up. Now I called Allstate back. Anthony at the call center answered the call. I told I should have to pay anything. He said, "You have to or you won't get a rental." Or I could use Lyft and keep the receipt. Again I would have to pay for something I didn't do.

They insured Kenny. They take all the risk. They should pay for everything. In fact they should have to pay you while you get estimate, while you make phone calls. Remember you wouldn't have to go through any of this if the one they insure didn't hit you. So all my calls are recorded. I just think about this. I'm the 3 owner. My SUV has never been scratch. Now are fax all of them. Will know and when I sell it I will lose money cause of this. I'm just telling all of you things you need to know. So far this is my bad luck.

He offered to provide insurance for my two vehicles (Lexus and Mazda) for $211 per month to be taken out of my checking account automatically. The initial payment was $124.34. I mentioned to him I needed to change address after I purchased the insurance on the same date. One week before my next bill is due, I noticed the fee has gone up to $297 per month. After taking several weeks to contact their client, Allstate assumed zero liability for the accident, citing their driver's statement as their sole evidence. The police report said the other driver ran the red light. A witness in the report corroborated this. She signed a citation for running the light on the scene. Our own statements reflected this reality as well. However, a driver who entered the intersection, running a red light at a high rate of speed, giving a contradictory story was all it took to decline any liability and leave us high and dry.

I am left forced to file a small claims suit for the damages to our vehicle, and possibly left without recourse for the weeks of pain and suffering my wife endured following the accident. I have been hit by one of Allstate driver, somebody calls me for the Allstate’s agency telling to take a photo on that quick photo app. I did what it had to be done and sent the photos the next 2 days, Allstate send me a letter that had only 149.99 to fix the damages if I wanted to do it my self. They were dents in my car and the outside mirror was completely broken, so what 149.99 dollars going to fix??? One of the adjusters or estimators calls me and she offers to pick my car from my house and fix it and SHE RECOMMENDED ME WITH A SHOP. I said ok you can take but I needed a car to move for personal reasons, so the lady offered to give me a rental the next day.

I call the insurance to check on the status of the rental they said they couldn’t get for two days. So I call back in 2 days to check again and the lady says I’m sorry we don’t have one yet so I had to a whole week just to get the rental car. Guess how long did it take fix my car? A WHOLE MONTH. When I received a call saying that my car was ready to pick up, I went to go pick it up but it still had the dents on front passenger door, I spoke to the shop about it they say they’re going to send a supplement. They fixed the car in 2 days I believe and they didn’t even call they waited a whole week to call me, and what’s funny is that they didn’t even call me. Guess who called me the rental company called saying that my car was ready, I said ok no problem I’ll go pick it up today.

I go to get my car and my car wouldn’t even start. When the shop picked up my car the first time it was perfectly working. When I tell them to fix it they say it’s not our problem and we’ll send a supplement for that thing. I waited a day but I was told that they could throw my car in the street or god knows what they going to do to my car. So I call the insurance, they say that we don’t have a contract with this shop. “So how are you going to offer me to take my car to fix it at this shop and not having a contract with them” she said I chose the shop. No problem. I needed my car so I had a tow truck that I payed to take it to my mechanic to fix it and it cost me 300$, that’s not all when I got the call for the same time to pick my car it didn’t have the radio, so my radio was stolen.

I am very nice person I don’t like to be treated like **. The next day the rental company tries to charge 250$ for the rental car. I called them and asked what going on they told that the insurance covered only from this date to that date and my car wasn’t even ready to pick up so I call back the insurance and they tell that you car was ready this date so we couldn’t cover your rental, and I understand that but my car wasn’t even ready and you telling me that we can’t cover the rental and that’s something wrong. I tried to get hold of a manager, she never there I call 4 times and I left a voicemail. So I don’t have a clue of what I’m going to do next. Today the rental call me and says that I owe them 300 something dollars. And I almost forgot when I got my car towed and I got this invoice stating that the total for the damages was 1.3k $. The insurance offered me 149.99$. Lol.

I was a customer of Allstate for over 15 years and I hadn't submitted any claims during that period. However, the day I submitted a claim I was shocked they could not pay for full repair of my vehicle. I made many attempts to fix the problem, I did not get any follow-up. I even took the matter to court. Do you know they had to hire their own lawyer at 10 times the cost of my claim of $1000. I know many have experienced the same hustle in their claims. You are in bad hand with Allstate. Avoid avoid avoid.

Allstate rewards their safe drivers with a safe driving bonus check every six months that you are claim free. Well, that's sort of true. What they don't inform you is that they will increase your premium every single year, and that increase is a doubled or tripled amount more than both "bonus checks" combined. (For the first 3 to 4 years, these bonus checks are in the $20 to $24 dollar range) So, you are not getting any real bonus, but you are actually paying more. They also don't inform you that if you make the most trivial change in your auto insurance, the previous 5 safe driving months will be tossed away and you are starting all over with a "new policy." I've been with Allstate for ten years now. I really need to have my head examined. Let me share the latest scam they have come up with to get even more money out of their clients.

My wife and I are in our late 50s and we live alone. We have three adult children, all in their 30s and they haven't lived at home in many years. Last Sept. 2018, we were informed by Allstate that "their sources indicate that we MAY HAVE a driving aged child living with us," specifically my 33 year old daughter. In the envelope was several brochures for keeping teen drivers safe and insured, and Allstate was just the company to handle all of our needs. Of course, I called my agent and explained that my grown daughter was married, with children, living in another city, has her own car and insurance, and that she wasn't even living with us when I got auto insurance with them 10 years ago. The agent was pleasant, surprised and concerned and I was assured that they would handle this problem.

The following month, an additional $155.44 was added to my ever increasing auto policy price, to cover my 33 year old daughter whom hasn't lived at home in 10 years. Yet another phone call was made to my agency, and yet another promise to clear up the problem. The following month, my daughter is still added on to my policy and I am still being charged the extra money. This time I sent an e-mail to them, and the reply sent back revealed the complete scam Allstate were up to. See if you can believe their justification for adding a grown woman to my policy. "Allstate Corporation has received an audit, and apparently the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is connected with said audit, and they reported to Allstate that my grown daughter is using my address." Gasp! Charge them people some more money at once. And they did, and are doing so.

All three of my grown children still use my address for important matters, just like millions of other grown kids. Our home is a safe and secure place for them always. So now, according to Allstate, I have to physically prove that my 33 year old daughter is not living with me. My telling them isn't good enough. I am 100% certain that Allstate has an entire team of people that are paid very well to come up with these types of scams. They keep these scams barely contained within the boundary of the laws, where they can criminally rake in millions of dollars and remain scot free about it. Of course, I will soon be terminating my auto and flood insurance policies with Allstate.

After 10 years of being a faithful, claim free customer, I don't want to be a victim of their criminal operations anymore. Of course, they are victorious after receiving my money for 10 years, and perhaps that is part of their criminal goal for profits. I pray to God that the right person reads these complaints and knows how to activate a plan to end Allstate's corrupt operations. Just think how many people have been burned by them and then just let it go. The way I look at it now, the bigger the corporation, the harder they fall.

I own a 2014 F-250 which was involved in a 40-50 mph front end crash. This was not my wife’s fault and the truck just made cross country trip with no issues at all. The impact rather crash destroyed the front of the truck even breaking the tow hooks off of the frame. The auto body shop recommended by Board Ford fixed the visible damage but when we went to drive it the front end was making a humming noise, the brake cable was broken, the steering wheel was not straight and the truck began shaking. The auto shop stated they saw nothing broken so we took it back Ford. Ford stated they could not say the damage was from the crash as it could have been wear and tear previously.

We are not mechanics but this truck is so messed up it is not safe for my family. The Allstate adjuster Alex stated the broken brake cable and the alignment issues were due to worn out parts and we received no explanation for the humming noise. This was a solid truck with no issues prior to this crash and now we have been told we are liars and that all of these issues must have been present prior to the crash. Ford says they are unable to align the truck due to the amount of play. This may be true but was certainly caused by the horrific crash.

I am a former state trooper with thousands of crash investigations and it is preposterous to me that a vehicle in this sort of accident would have alignment issues due to anything other than the crash when it was fine previously. I am not able to see any worn or damaged rubber boots or leaking grease or any of the things I would associate with being obviously worn out around any of the steering components. This truck has less than 100k miles and has never been used to tow or plow. I purchased this vehicle approximately 18 months ago precisely because it felt so solid and smooth. We are very frustrated and would like our vehicle to be safe for our family to drive again. This will be a huge expense for us to fix on our own and we feel that the excuses are just that. Excuses.

The original shop should have seen these problems but ever since we pointed out the fact they didn’t even drive it after repair the blame has been on us. Besides these issues the customer service has been terrible at Ford with the service tech and manager not returning calls and even failing to submit insurance information with identifying information on it. We feel trapped in a network of dishonesty and wish for nothing other than our truck to be reliable again. We do not have the technical knowledge to dispute what they say credibly but just know that our vehicle was fine to travel across country one day and after the crash which was no fault of ours, it is not even safe to drive.

My local office does not handle claims; I must call a toll free number and wait on the phone for over 20 minutes to speak to someone who has no answers. I've tried chatting and sending messages and still get nowhere. I'm not multiple months into this like other people, but I see where this is going. My local Allstate agency should be able to work with me to get this completed and processed. I shouldn't have to deal with outside companies and no answers. I was previously with State Farm and they were great to work with. I may switch back, if and when this claim is completed.

I was one of them and they tried to raise my auto rates by almost 50%. So after 18 years, I was treated like garbage and forced to change insurance companies. After learning the truth about the fraud and how long it took to discover it, I probably would have left anyway.

I was rear ended in October 2018 by a driver carrying Allstate Auto Insurance. The driver was found At Fault and ticketed. Allstate was responsible for repairing my vehicle and providing me with a rental car while repairs were being completed. Allstate provided me with a rental car from Enterprise Rental who they contract with. It took approximately 30 days for the repairs to be completed by the BMW Collision Center. Allstate paid for the first 20 days of the rental car but failed to pay for the last 10 days of rental while my car was still in the shop. Since Allstate failed to pay, Enterprise deducted the balance from my personal account. Allstate don't seem to understand that the accident was due to no fault of my own and I should not be paying for my own rental car that they provided. I called every day this week to try to get this resolved but to no avail. I would not recommend Allstate to anyone, ever.

I am starting to see negative things about Allstate. They did not notify me at the time of my renewal about going up $3 more on my car insurance, so I called the agency and she was not in at the time. Coworkers claimed that they will have her call me back, a week went pass so I called again recently, left a message & said it was like my second request for my agent to call me. So finally she got in touch with me later that day and apologize for not getting back to me sooner which was all good & everything. So I let her know what the situation was & she said another person had the same problem I did & it should have been on my renewal & she said she believed it was from the car being over 10 years old. I mean what difference does it make how old the car is.

I can see them going up on a brand new car, you can't win, so she says she will give me a call back the next day to assure me, that that’s the reason. They should subtract the $3 off for not notifying me, when it really doesn't make a difference cause she said they're going to go up every year at the time of my renewal, any way for them to make money they will do it. Soon as it goes to a hundred I will find another Insurance Company to insure my vehicle & my home. All these insurance companies to me is not fair. They always find some reason to go up on your car insurance. All they want to do is collect your money every month.

I'm told that there is a grace period of 2 months with Allstate. I have never heard of this before. Now other insurance company has such a policy. I emailed and called to tell them I have an active insurance policy with someone else and that I have never had to show proof to any other insurance company before.

When I spoke to them on the phone they said that if my policy is still active after a 30 day period that I need to show proof to terminate the policy. I also called customer service who confirmed that my policy was canceled but her office is saying that a canceled policy and terminating a policy are two different things. WHAT??? I was also told that if I don't pay the 93.27 that it will be sent to a collection agency! This is downright bullying and harassment. Talk about a racket.

After filing with the Department of Insurance a complaint they finally settled the claim with about 20% still left on the table. But after fighting with them for 4 months, I accepted their offer. The police report shows it was their driver's fault but Allstate's policy is DELAY, DENY AND DEFEND with their on retainer auto accident lawyers. Allstate wouldn't send an appraiser instead making me download their app and send them pictures. They offered to pay 20% of their estimate of $600. I took the car to 3 body shops and the estimates were all above $3500. Told not to drive the car. Airbag issue and door wouldn't open. We had to go to binding arbitration where Allstate knows in NYS it's easy to get the reviewer to settle on a partial responsibility. They do this to screw their own insured too as the nice little old lady didn't get her car money either. Your wallet is in good hands with Allstate, they as a corporation should be ashamed.
