Claims were easy to file. The customer service representative was attentive, courteous, and very knowledgeable and helpful. It was easy to contact him when calls were returned promptly. I am not knowledgeable about all the coverage plans offered however the one I enrolled in was sufficient to cover the cost of repairs for my vehicle. Getting in an accident can be a traumatic and stressful experience. With AAA, claims were processed smoothly and I felt as though I was taken care of. My customer service representative was knowledgeable, thorough, and showed a lot of caring and compassion. He made the entire process flow smoothly.

They have a pretty simplified process for claims processing. The agents are knowledgeable and efficient, as well as hospitable and friendly. Their claims processing is very satisfactory. Their coverage is reasonable. They don't necessarily have the best in the business, but they do have a consistent and reasonably affordable policy. This company has made my life a lot easier in the insurance aspect. Also their benefits program allows me and my family to receive exclusive discounts in many locations. Their customer service is wonderful in that it is convenient, as well as friendly. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but after careful explanation, I was able to understand them.

They help you all the way to the end. If you have a question about anything they are more than happy to talk to you. They are very good company. I love them. I have full coverage with a 500 deductible but I am very satisfied with them. It is awesome. Also the towing service is exceptional. They make it so easy for you to get your car towed. They show up super fast. They will even give you a ride home. It's very nice, convenient. It is very, very cheap. You also can use your Triple A card at many, many restaurants, movies, a lot of things. I would recommend anybody who loves great insurance go ahead and get Triple A. Every time I have needed to call them they were on the phone right away, answered all of my questions. They even showed me other plans if I wanted another car or anything. They are very helpful.

The claims guy came out, looked at the damage, and we got a check for all but the depreciable amount. The process did not take a long time and we were able to get the repairs done quickly. They provide much the same coverage as any other insurance company. It was adequate for our purposes. It seemed a bit more expensive. We have to have insurance and so I pick the cheapest with the best coverage. I was never able to talk to my agent. She never returned my phone calls. I always had to talk to a different person. They apparently prefer you to do everything online.

Great value. Not only am I able to cover my home and car. But I also get free towing for the first 100 miles, roadside assistance, great customer service, and when I am stranding in the side of the road with a flat it doesn't take them more than 30 minutes to get to me. My overall experience with customer service has been good. I don't feel I would have any problems with going through a claims process with them. I'm a young man in my twenties and I found that switching my insurance to theirs reduced my monthly costs by at least fifty percent. Then the laws changed in my state with the way insurance rates were handled and my agent reduced the costs by even more! The value for me is in the cost. No one likes to pay a large monthly fee for car insurance, but I am able to be covered while not breaking the bank. I've only had the opportunity to discuss the opening of my plan and renewal of it, but each interaction has been quite good and professional.

I brag to my friends and let them know the coverage and effectiveness of this plan. In addition you get a lot for very little. I can sleep well knowing that they are on my side and that I don't have to worry about staying on top of things.

The day I filed my claim, they contacted the tow company and arranged to inspect the vehicle the next day. Within four days after my claim, they had determined the vehicle was a total loss and a check was on its way. I did not expect the friendly, courteous and prompt service which I received. Can't really say - have never had a claim, but I have every confidence that my local agent will make it as painless as possible. Handling everything quickly, fairly, competently. I don't really know enough about insurance to know good coverage from bad coverage, but I have total faith in my local agent - that they have provided me with enough coverage, yet still in my budget. While I hate having to pay insurance every month without ever making a claim, I know I need it in order to drive my car. I feel that my local agent has provided me with a policy that is a good value. My agent is part of my community. Just today I went into the office to pay my monthly premium. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by name.

I am pleased with this company and they are much better than the last company that I used. I find that you need to call the local agent with policy or billing questions as customer service at the 800 number is useless. I have both my cars and house with them. My last insurance company (Allstate) gave me a great rate for these but raised the premium by about 50% the second year (no claims). At least AAA has lowered my rates over the years.

I have the necessary coverage for a car with payments still being made. I am covered for bodily injury liability, property damage liability, excess medical payments, uninsured motorists, under insured motorists, as well as collision and comprehensive. It may provide peace of mind about potential future hazards and car accidents, but as soon as my car is paid off, you can be sure that I will cut my coverage to a more affordable level. I have had excellent customer service experience with AAA. Most of my interaction has been done in person locally at a branch location. There have been some instances when my interaction has been with representatives over the phone, but in either case my needs have been more met.

It was easy to get to the nearest garage. Drivers arrived quickly and paperwork was minimal. The garages they were connected with performed good quality work in a minimal amount of time. The nice thing about their coverage is how easy it is to understand. They offer add-ons that other car insurance companies don't always offer as options. I did think it was a bit more expensive, however, you get what you pay for. Other insurance companies I've been with that had lower rates were not nearly as thorough and simplistic. It was always easy to get an agent on the phone. Their customer service offered 24 hour support so I had several experiences where I needed to speak with someone after business hours or on a weekend and it was never a problem.

This is not the cheapest option out there, but the quality of customer service and coverage goes a long way in justifying the cost. It offers peace of mind. I didn't have to do anything. I have used AAA for over 30 years. I have only had to use them twice in that length of time and they took care of handling the insurance with the other party and taking care of having my car fixed. They are very efficient. I would recommend AAA for insurance any time. They are very fair and the cost are low. We have 4 vehicles on this policy and the value is good. I think they have excellent customer service. AAA's coverage was satisfactory for my needs. I wanted just basic coverage, since my vehicles were already used when I bought them, and I didn't think they required liability coverage. AAA Auto Insurance provided good value for me and my husband while we had that insurance carrier. They had very affordable rates compared to many other auto insurance carriers. AAA auto insurance also provided us with valuable travel information, like route maps when we would go on trips. They'd provide books on the areas we would be traveling through and info on the hotels we could make reservations with as well. Those booklets and route maps were invaluable to us. We always looked for insurance coverage through an insurance agency, so we dealt with our insurance agent for answers to any insurance questions. We were always very satisfied with the information our agent could provide us with.

Roadside is great however be careful once you use four tows in one year. You're out of a tow and stuck without a ride. The price is high especially if you do not use those tows and pick the service for 100 miles tows or more. I was misinformed by more than two of AAA employees more than once. Too many times I have been told one thing and found it to not be true. I have used AAA for 5-10 years because I do road trips that are risky and quite often in places with little to no population and 50 or more mile away from any kind of auto services. AAA charges near $100 a year, in addition to your regular auto insurance policy rate, for four automobile tows up to 200 miles each and a locksmith call, so I have been told on three separate occasions.
However when I needed the locksmith coverage and used it thinking that I would be reimbursed I was told that I had already used my four tows and therefore I would not be reimbursed. Oh yah, did I mention that I was told to send in the paperwork by fax and I would be reimbursed within ten days. So I, not having my own fax machine, tediously recopied and refaxed the locksmith receipt several times and then even emailed it upon AAA's request only to be told that they would not cover the charge because I had actually used the roadside four times that year. The sad truth is that two of the tows were simple roadside services like gas and a tire change on the side of the road, while one of the four tows was not even 5 miles away.
Most auto insurances include those services in their policy, anyway. Why bother paying $100 or more for roadside coverage to use maybe one tow that other insurances don't cover in their policies??? Also the employees literally lied and told me that the locksmith coverage was in addition to the four tows allotted per year. The last even antagonizing me with repeated demands to resend paperwork for a locksmith coverage that AAA had no intention of paying for.

Having a local office where you can drop in from 8 to 5:30 is very beneficial in that you can have someone personally assist you answering questions. Having face to face contact is a lot better and that you know that you have the agent full attention is on you. I believe in the Murphy's Law that it's always better to have extra coverage than too little because the way my luck runs it always seems to be I need to cover all my bases.
I've done comparable shopping with other insurances and I do believe AAA is very competitive on the price and the service. Value means a lot more than just price it means customer service which they do provide in a very friendly manner. I know that I'm more than just a number to them because many times when I drop by the office or come by the office they know me on sight and are able to look up my customer number to help me. I had been a faithful, loyal customer for about 10 years. I went with AAA because I felt they had a good reputation in the community. I even had more than one type of policy with them. Basically, I trusted them with all my insurance needs. Furthermore, I always figured they would be prompt and fair if I ever had to put in a claim. Well, if you're from Texas you'll know what I mean when I say that dog didn't hunt! I was a safe driver with no tickets or claims. I was claims-free for many years. Because of that, they happily gave me a "claims-free" discount every year when I renewed. While that sounds all good and noble, I later realized they only gave me a discount because indirectly, it benefited them to not have to pay out any money. I was an ASSET at that time. Then lo and behold, "it" happened. I had ONE accident that was my fault because I slid into another car when it was raining.
A few months later, at renewal, they TRIPLED my premiums. Suddenly, I was a LIABILITY, no longer an asset. I just knew this huge hike in rates had to be a mistake and talked to membership services, call centers, agents and their supervisors. None could either explain why my premiums tripled or why they couldn't grant me "accident forgiveness" that they falsely advertise. Long story short, please think twice before you buy any kind of insurance with AAA. These reviews are here for a reason.

I've never had a problem with the coverage that they provide. I do find it a bit too pricey sometimes. I was unfortunate enough to be T-boned several years ago. AAA got me a rental car [no charge] and gave me enough to almost totally pay for my new {to me} car. And it didn't take long for them to get the check to me. I highly recommend AAA. In fact, I also have my house insured with them. When I have a question I call my agent and get the answers I need. I also have emergency roadside coverage with my policy which I have had to use when my battery goes dead or when I have a flat tire. Usually the waiting period for assistance is very short. I feel well protected by AAA. It may be possible to get coverage for less from some other company but will you really receive the help you need?
Some years ago I had another company. The car I had at that time had an alarm system that was not factory installed. At a time when I was already under stress, the alarm system malfunctioned and would go off every half hour. Late one evening I called that company and got no answer. I called AAA even tho I was not a member, and they quickly came out. It was necessary to disable the horn. When I called the company I had been insured with the agent did not answer the phone - leave a message; he never called back.
I am very happy with all that AAA does for me!!! I have an agent that I can, and do, call. She gets back to me as soon as possible - within a 8 hour time period. When I have called, whether for my car insurance or my homeowner's insurance, she takes the time to go over my policy to see if there is a way to lower my payments, and usually can find a way to do just that.

The coverage options cover what I want and need just in case I happen to have an accident, and it will help me if I may need it and my vehicle gets damaged in an accident.
The value that was added to my life was the ease of not needing to worry about insurance prices and coverage if I happen to have a life event that would alter my insurance price and coverage at any other insurance company compared to my current insurance company. I like that I can use their customer service at any time of the day or night that I may need it, because accidents don't have a time clock for when they will occur.

Coverage is also provided when you are involved in an accident that is not your fault. For example your car is hit by the car of a motorist who does not have insurance or even if the motorist is not a legal resident.
The value is most important. The insurance is invaluable for providing help in case of accidents that damage our car and is so costly that we cannot afford to have our cars fixed. We need our cars to attend to our daily activities including work. Being able to have our cars towed and the expenses paid is most helpful, even essential in maintains our daily life. For example, last year my car was involved in an accident in which the car behind me failed to stop soon enough at a stop light. His car hit the back of my car. I was able to call law enforcement and a tow service. My insurance agent was available to handle the claims. All went smoothly.

It's been several years since I've had a claim, but when I did, the response was fast and efficient and fair. Most of my claims have been related to road service, but 40 years ago, there were a couple of accidents which they resolved quickly even though at the time I was not a customer. I actually became a AAA customer because of the way they handled these situations. AAA offers a wide range of coverage from just legally required to full coverage. The consumer has many choices and price options. For myself, I chose a lower deductible because of my financial situation. But it's been working, and AAA does not pressure me to change. They offer; I choose.
To get AAA auto insurance, you have to first join the AAA road service. But, that's absolutely worth it. It's only $56 a year and covers just about every road emergency you can think of. The insurance policy is the best price I've found; not even the Hartford can beat it for seniors. Customer service has always been great with AAA. They really listen and take the time to process not only for claims, but also any questions or concerns you have. It's best to sign up for car rental coverage. I had $5,000 in damages to my car and I was three weeks without my car - AAA covered my car rental completely. We pay for our car insurance in full each year. By doing that, we receive a dividend from AAA (usually $80). We have two vehicles fully covered for less than $900/year. I had one of the lowest coverages, yet it was adequate. It depends on which policy you choose. Of course, the more coverage the more the cost. The value, of course, is in how much you get back from an accident. However, the peace of mind is an added value that is priceless. With AAA you get both. In obtaining auto and homeowners insurance through AAA in an attempt to save money, I was told that I would get a discount for being an engineer (I had worked for 35 years in aerospace having the title of Engineer/Scientist and I have a B.S degree in Engineering Technology from Call Poly Pomona). I finalized the information to obtain the insurance and paid the total cost for the auto insurance for one year using my credit card and even e-signed the documents. I stated I did not want the policy to take effect until the prior auto insurance term had run out, which was two days away. Later I received an email saying that the degree I had was not one that AAA gives a discount on. At that point I said to just terminate the process of obtaining insurance with them.
I was told that for them to do so, I would have to send them all the disclosures on my three automobiles from my present insurance provider because they had to verify I had insurance before terminating the process. This was even before the AAA insurance was to start. I went into the local AAA office and showed them my Proof of Insurance cards for my present insurance but that was not acceptable to them. Finally, the next day I was told that the agent had contacted my current insurance provider and verified I had insurance and he would expedite a refund. I did not authorize them to contact my insurance provider and believe it was an overreach on their part since I had not even come under them for auto insurance yet. They essentially were implying I was lying even though a police officer, when shown the proof of insurance, would give the benefit of the doubt. Isn't that what a "Proof of Insurance" card is suppose to do?
As of now, I still have not received that credit back to my credit card. They took my funds even before I had e-signed their documents in a quick manner but now they seem to have a problem processing the credit back to my credit card in a timely manner. It has been six days since I asked that they terminate the process for me getting AAA insurance. I can not get the AAA folks involved to answer the phone to let me know why it has not been done yet. Beware of their customer support and the seemingly unethical manner that one would be treated once you get involved with AAA, especially if you gave them your money.

Basically, service is not guaranteed.
I had AAA in other states and they always showed up within 30 minutes. Needless to say I lost a day of work and I am paid hourly. I have a one-hour drive to work. No one should join AAA in Orlando, Florida, because in case of a major emergency, AAA does not show up and does not reimburse you. They never gave me an order number when I called. I cannot fill in the order number.

I've had AAA Plus for myself and 3 family members for over 20 years. Yesterday I got a letter from them that due to my excessive claims they're changing my membership from Plus to Basic due to excessive claims. Over the course of the 20 years we've had to have cars towed less than a couple of times and 3 or 4 calls for dead batteries or flat tires. The basic plan has towing for 7 miles, I live in the country and there are no car dealers or repair shops within those 7 miles. Considering the amount of time we've been members I don't think those are excessive claims. AAA has become nothing but a rip off.

Was paying 599 buck for my car and now they up it but 200 buck. I do not see the logistic about this drastic increase. I am going to their office and ** up a storm tomorrow. And guess what I will get the same merry go round like usual. Time to get another policy from somewhere and dump this insurance agency.

She then comes back to the phone 15 minutes later stating that they'd be here in 45 minutes being that battery calls take longer than any other calls, so they're running behind! Well, a phone call would've been nice! Now it's going on an hour and a half still no one, no phone call nothing. Yesterday morning I called AAA for a (NEW BATTERY) as I knew the battery was slowly dying over the past few days & this morning it was dead. So I told them upfront I needed a new battery. Guy came to my house like 30 minutes later, first thing out of his mouth was, "I don't have a battery to fit your car." You would think with all the info I gave them, that they would have sent someone with the correct battery. So he tested the battery and said the battery was good, that it may be the Alternator. I gave him that mama look, thinking to myself yeah right.
Anyway he jump-started the car & turned it off within 5 minutes, so when I went to start it again, after he left of course the battery was dead, because it didn't have time to fully charge, I was mad as a rattlesnake at that moment. Next day I asked my neighbor for a jump-start, I let it run for 30 minutes and made it to Auto Zone. They tested everything, including the Alternator and code read (BAD BATTERY). They sold me a new battery, installed it, and I was on my way. From now on I will just use AAA for simple things, like changing a tire & discounts.

My car got broken into. I did a police report, call my insurance company, gave them the police report. They had me too go to 2 everyone store to get receipts so that I can send it to them for the lost items if they can pay me or if I was telling the truth. September 19th 2015 the incident happen. They just reimburse me half of the money and wanted me to buy everything that I had that was on the list. The value of my things they would not give me but they wanted me to buy everything with half of the money. My things cost more than they gave me, the depreciation, and they still would not give me the rest of the money that they said they was going to give - the depreciation money. They came up with every excuse not to pay me.
I sent them all my receipts and they still said that my receipts consist of clothes and shoes that was not on their list. All my receipts did not have anything to do with clothes or shoes. I'm very upset with the situation. Nothing has been handled. I tried calling the head people of the insurance company. They then give me the person that didn't want to help me in the beginning and when I talked to her today she was really yelling at me as if all this was my fault. She said that I would not get anything back because I didn't go out and buy a 6 or $700 computer. If I had to tell someone to get Triple A renter's insurance or homeowners insurance I would tell them to look somewhere else. They are not fair. They treat their customers very wrong and make you very unhappy. Make you feel like it's all your fault.

I have AAA insurance from 2011. At 2011 I excluded my husband from insurance just because he does not have driver's license. When he got driver's license on 2012 Oct I called AAA and added my husband name. They said, "You are all set." We both can share the car and drive... and also they sent me ID card with both of our names as insured and we thought we both are covered and happily driving from 2012 to present.
On Sept 16 my husband made an accident and they said, "Your husband is not covered in policy. Your claim is rejected," and we have to pay everything from our pocket. When I called back on 2012 to add my husband name to insurance they added and sent ID card (receipt attached) and seems like they did not update their records about policy of my husband and did not ask anything about including policy (or) not... this is the first accident we did it and we came to know my husband insurance not covered. Now they said we send some documents there. It was written with small letters. "Your husband is not covered for damage of vehicle..." We never saw that document before.
We always put ID card in our car with 2 of our names as insured. If my husband not covered why did they add my husband name in insurance as insured. Who is having time to read all the documents. Why did they confuse customers of writing different things on different documents. They took it for granted...and confused and also I did not sign it to exclude my husband name. They just sent the premium amount and we paid and did not care about all these things.

I am been a AAA plus member for years, holding 1 primary account and previously 2 additional accounts, recently just 1. I have never placed a call to request service until yesterday. I placed my first call at 5:03pm because of a dead battery. The representative that took my call asked me if I would like battery service. She said that they would test my battery and would replace it. I confirmed that they would indeed replace it as at that time if it wasn't possible I would have been able to access a battery. She said the current wait time was 40 minutes. At 5:40 they called to confirm that my call had been received and the driver would arrive within 40-45 minutes. I'm not sure how that time changed OR why it took so long for them to "receive" my call when I had called 40 minutes prior.
At 6:17 I called back because still no one had arrived to assist me. They told me that a supervisor would call back within 5 minutes. Surprise surprise... No call from a supervisor. I place a call at 6:45 to inquire about why I hadn't received a call and to find out why STILL there wasn't anyone to assist me. At that time the representative put me on hold for 10 minutes (as they did with each of the phone calls). She came back and told me that the original driver was backed up so they transferred my call to someone that could arrive quicker. Quicker? At this point I had already waited an hour and 45 minutes. She acted as if she was doing me a favor by doing this. They told me that someone would be here... Oh you guessed it in ANOTHER 45 minutes.
At 7:49 the man arrived in a AAA truck no vest stating he was with the company and informed me that there was nothing he could do he didn't have the battery. He could jump me though... What use was that? I replied that it was unacceptable. He called someone I assume his dispatcher. When he was finished with his call he told me someone had a battery for me, BUT guess what another 45 minutes until they would arrive. While he was here I called AAA yet again. As I was waiting (yes that again) the man got in his truck, I assuming he was just moving the truck out of the middle of the driveway. NOPE backed his truck out of the driveway and left without saying one single word.
Once again I called AAA. At this point I insisted on speaking with a supervisor. "She understood" but there wasn't anything she could do. The new driver that actually had my battery was at another call. You guessed it ANOTHER 45 minutes he would arrive. FINALLY close to 9 the man arrived with a battery tested mine and installed a new one. That wrapped up around 10. I like to know why 5 hours is an acceptable wait time for a service that I pay for and have NEVER once even used. I will be looking in to other roadside assistance choices. The kicker if anything happens with my battery ALL I have to do is call them... I can only imagine the wait time then. Disgusting customer service!!!

Okay, I am writing this because I have contacted the phone number of the agent many times, as well as emailed her and received no respond. I personally feeling being abused by one of AAA employee, agent Shelby **. I signed a 6 months contract with a full payment in 07/22/2016. I DID PAY THE FULL AMOUNT that Shelby ** write in my contract on the day 07/22/2016 (which is $290, plus the membership fee $49, make it a total of $339). But on 08/31/2016, Shelby ** prepare an amendment with the increased amount of $116 in my current policy. I received that amendment on 09/07/2016. That amendment said very clear that I will receive a bill for that additional premium, which is $116. I was waiting for the bill until 09/14/2016. On 09/14/2016, I received 2 amendments which was prepared on the same day 09/01/2016. Those amendments said that I need to pay $116 and another $36.
There is no explanation about why my policy changed that much and that many times. I did try to call Shelby ** many times and sent her an email on 09/14/2016 about this problem. But I see no respond. On 09/16/2016 I received a bill saying that I have to pay $152 (as of 116 + 36). Since I cannot contact the agent, then I have to conclude that this company has the tradition of tricking and fooling customers with the initial low rate, and after you pay your premium, they will continue to charge you more and more, without explaining reason. I am done with this company. I don't care about how much they will charge me about policy cancellation. I will definitely cancel my policy first thing in the morning.

I was in a minor car accident in Aug. It took me 3 days to speak w/ an adjuster even though it says "will return your call within 24 hrs" not 48, 72, 96 hrs, very frustrating. On top of that finally found out I could speak w/ any adjuster, ok fine. Any adjuster looks at my claim and tells me, "I see you were coming out your garage and you and your roommate had contact." Where in the hell DID you get that from? (2) adjusters read that to me. We were nowhere near a garage. After 2 days finally my adjuster told me the accident would probably be 50/50, ok cool...that was it. Haven't heard from her since to let me know what concrete conclusion they came to. I had to call and find out. I also had to call to question my deductible for reimbursement.
The adjuster I spoke with said I would receive it back. I've been calling both adjusters to call me with information on that. Nothing as of this day. I signed up just by hearing all these years of the good ole AAA insurance being the best. I should have went to Yelp/AAA reviews. The other person involved says she's been with AAA for over 20 years and this has been very frustrating to her too. They even said the other person involved in the accident didn't have insurance. He almost got cursed out, because she has AAA also. I'm a new member and will be switching to State Farm which I've had a excellent experience with. Oh! Wait a minute...it just came to me that State Farm was very concerned with my well being more than anything by 1st asking me was I alright & you can hear the concern.
Then they continued with the questions. Not once DID AAA ask me how I was doing....wow!!! Ok that it I'm switching. I believe AAA will be going out of business sooner than later. They're in the same category as cheap insurance, the general etc. That's why I went with AAA, thought they were upholding to their name, not any more. The road side service wasn't too bad for me maybe because of my area. I'm putting this on Yelp also. I'm sooooo disappointed in them. I was raised up on Triple A. Oh well...some good things must come to an end...hey finally got a call as I'm writing this review.

It is 2 months after the accident and 30 days after I sent in my medical bills. I finally spoke with the adjuster who low balled me. I thought I was doing something by not getting a lawyer. My suggestion is to make sure you have a lawyer when dealing with this shady company to ensure you receive all that is owed to you.

If I could give it a zero star rating I would. I called AAA because my truck had been broken into and told the lady that my family and I were stranded as the truck was non-operable since someone tried to steal it so the ignition part was dismantled. It took AAA 5 hours before coming over to help and provide us with a car rental. It was explained to them that my truck was in an unsafe place and unlocked so to please send for a tow truck as soon as possible. This was a Thursday. Come Monday I find out that my truck had not yet been picked up. I called numerous times to AAA and received misleading information and kept on being transferred to different people.
Long story short, AAA opened up 3 different claims for this same call due to the number of call transfers and so it wasn't until probably Tuesday that my truck was picked up and it was taken to a complete different place for repair. They sent a second tow truck on Wednesday and this guy is unable to locate my truck so AAA advised that I file a theft report. I had to drive 3 hours from my house to file a theft report for my truck. Then on Friday I get a call from the auto shop where my truck was left by the AAA tow truck person asking if AAA was ever going to send them paperwork because they had nothing. I contacted AAA to have them explain to me how it was possible that AAA did not know the whereabouts of my car when they had already sent someone to pick it up and dropped off at a complete different shop than the one I previously had agreed to have it sent to. I got no answer and AAA never took responsibility for their wrong doing.
When I went to inspect the truck the truck had damage on the side and front and I reported that needed to be fixed. AAA denied saying that would have to be a separate collision claim and a separate deductible. I told them that this was negligence on their part as this damage was not there before and being that they took days to pick up and my truck was abandoned for day at an unsafe location and that this truck was under their responsibility as of the day I called to ask to have it towed. AAA denied to cover the damage and did not care that they made me lose several days of work dealing with their stupid multiple claims, calling and speaking to multiple staff members and when asked to speak to a supervisor I would get responses such as my supervisor is on vacation or he/she will call you back. They rather lose clients than accepting fault. Dealing with outside folks from Colorado when I live in California is just absurd.
I don't understand why AAA decided to contract outside personnel, perhaps cheap labor, beats me. The customer service that these individuals have has a lot to be desired. They are senseless, rude and heartless. I am saying good bye to 17 yrs of auto, home and life insurance with them and taking my business elsewhere. I hope someone investigates AAA and takes proper steps to correct this picture. Seeing all of these bad reviews only makes me more upset as I feel the pain these people have had as I have experienced it first hand.

I have been using AAA for two years. This morning was the second time I called them for two years. I really had a very bad experience with them. I called for road side services at 7:15 Am to help me. I spoke to a man who told me that "there will be someone coming to help you in 20 min to 1 hour". I waited for one hour nobody show up. A lady called. She said "we do not really know what time you will get the help. I cannot guarantee any time" in a sarcastic way. I waited for another half an hour to called for the second time. I spoke to a gentleman who was very professional and sounded he want to help. I found out that they did not send anyone to help me. I was so angry and I hope the poor man excuse my language. I find out that the first man I spoke to was just lying. They left me down the road for more than two hours and a half. I had to call someone else to come to fix my car.
I would not recommend AAA to anyone because they are not promising. They just take the money send you the card. They do no do their job when needed. I would not give even a half star to them. The rate shop to give them is 0%. Because they made late for two hours and a half. Sorry to say if you have AAA be sure that you will stay down the road with no help. Better save your money in your wallet.

I think AAA is stalling to delay initiation of the Honda's coverage until the September 3. That isn't all the time in the world, but I asked for immediate coverage for the newly purchased car. I guess, either I leave the Honda parked in a bank vault until September 3 or I switch my car policy to a company that understands human language & uses information technology.

Would give negative stars if possible. Signed up for roadside assistance and couldn't resist the low auto insurance premiums. What a mistake! I have always paid my bill on time and have not had any claims. My insurance was cancelled without my knowledge! In my state it is illegal to have a vehicle registered without insurance to the tune of $150/vehicle for the first 30 days. I found out about the cancellation when I called in to see what my bill was and when it would be due as I hadn't seen one in a while. I was informed of the cancellation and asked them to rectify it.
Other insurance companies will cover insurance lapses of up to 5 days -- not AAA! My "lapse" (unknown cancellation) was 4 days. I received a bill for $300 because of this. I was not called or emailed and received nothing in the mail notifying me there was a problem. I called in of my own accord and this is the only way I knew. "Samantha" was incompetent and could not even tell me the correct amount owed on my bill; she had to call me back to correctly charge my card. I am reporting this to the Insurance Administration.
On a side note: this company is archaic. There's no digital presence or way to maintain your account on the Internet (they say they're working on it -- but it's 2016!). Also their phone trees do not function well and boot me off constantly even during business hours. They do not communicate via email or text. An update is overdue! The auto club (roadside assistance) is unnecessary if you can change your own tire and carry jumper cables. Hopefully you do not need to be towed that often.

When I bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey from Crown Motors, I had to get insurance to get the title and drive the car off the lot. We called AAA and they gave us a quote which was reasonable, so we figured we could afford this vehicle and continued with the loan and car buying process. Once the car was purchase we waited for the payment to be withdrawn from my bank account. It didn't happen when it normally does. We called and asked what happened. They then said our insurance was changed and the date will change, then we asked again what was the payment. It was $50 more than what they quoted.
1 month later the Bank sent us a letter stating that they aren't on the insurance as Lien holders and the insurance isn't good enough. It has more than a $1000 deductible. We called and asked what is going on. We never asked for such a high deductible. They said we must have asked for a low payment. So they put us on the $2000 deductible. To bring the deductible down to $500 it is an additional $47. Considering all of this we probably would have looked for a different vehicle or tried to negotiate a better price. The false info and unauthorized deductible AAA gave us for our policy has not only cost us more per month but falsely led us to believe we can afford a car that we can't.
NEVER TRUST ANYONE AT AAA. They said they can't do anything for us. Pretty much they told us sorry for your luck!!! If you use AAA get everything in writing, but I recommend anyone before AAA!!! Even our agent doesn't call us back when we needed a question answered. They don't care about their customers, just the bottom line... Profits.

TWO ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER this payment shows up in AAA system. No one contacts me about this payment or sends any letters but rather they add it to my premium causing it to double, every month, not just one month as it should have been. It was 10:46 PM on a Monday night and they answered after a short wait. I was told that they were busy and it would take about 40 minutes before a service truck would arrive. I received a call back about ten minutes later verifying my location and a 40 minute wait for service. I mentioned that the shopping center had closed down and there was only one store still open.
At about 12:45 PM a small van with the AAA logo appeared. It was now raining. I opened the trunk for access to the spare tire. Due to a previous injury, I am unable to lift or remove tires. AAA will pay for opening up the basement floor and closing the basement floor. But not the repair. Auto Owner's policy covered this for a rental property I had 8 years ago. However, I just learned (AAA informed me) that 2 years ago they dropped this from coverage their policies. Not even my AAA Preferred Policy (a policy I kept after purchasing my 1st home in 1989) covers that. It is now an add on to my policy. Looks like I am going to shop for new insurance to replace the $6,000+ I pay annually now. After being a policy holder since 1985... it is time to move on. Thanks AAA for your new deceptive policies. My eyes are wide open.

The DMV advised me to do a 3 way call or get the accurate DMV report for $9.00 and have AAA reimburse me for it since it is their mistake.
When I called my agent, Cynthia **, she confirmed that not only did they have the inaccurate information but that they had jacked up my rates for two years because of it. She accepted no responsibility for her company's mistake but instead blamed me and the DMV. She said now it's been too long and she can't do anything about it. She refused to take it off of my information because it "was too long ago and doesn't matter anyway". I think two years of overcharging me because of their mistake does matter!!!

I was hit on the front end of my car by an individual, in a modified Chevy 350 truck, that was behind me, but recklessly attempted to pass me on a two lane city street at a ridiculously excessive/reckless and unlawful speed. The truck not only hit but then literally ran over my left front end. This person was/is insured by AAA insurance. My car was moving at approximately 10-15 mph. I have witnesses plus a video recording. The driver who hit me immediately provided me his details without hesitation and did not ask for mine. He apologized repeatedly telling me it was his fault. We immediately reported the accident to my insurance and also to AAA, his insurance. We provided all the required information and video recording.
It took AAA over two weeks to complete their “investigation” never responding to my calls or the calls from my insurance company. On the 15th day after the accident, AAA finally contacted me to inform me that their insured was not at fault and immediately denied all liability. We were speechless and stunned by their gross negligence and abysmal review process. My insurance company was also baffled by their decision. I shall certainly never use AAA and I would advise everyone to avoid them. There is no point in having insurance if the providers behave like this. We are now looking into taking legal action against AAA.

I had a terrible experience with AAA. Usually I wait about an hour max for somebody to come and jump start my car or fix the problem. I was driving in Washington, DC when my gear shift got stuck while trying to put it in park. I then shut the car off, not knowing that you cannot do that when not in park, and the key got stuck in the ignition with the car's battery on. This occurred at 8:00 p.m. I called AAA, told them my address, told them the problem and they told me that in about an hour, somebody would come to help.
An hour later, they call back saying that it might take about 40 more minutes for somebody to come. I say ok, 1 hour and 40 minutes is fine. 1 hour later I call back and ask if anybody is coming and where they are. AAA tells me that somebody will be there in 20 minutes. After 30 minutes I call back and ask again. Somebody tells me that it will be 20 minutes more until somebody comes. At this point, I start to lose it. I had been stranded in DC on the side of the road for hours in 80+ degree weather while my car remained unlocked, with the key inside the ignition and the battery running. After two more phone calls where I am told '20 minutes' and wait 30 minutes and nobody comes, I call back and am finally told that nobody can come for another hour and fifteen minutes (aka nobody is coming until 12:30 a.m.).
At that point, when you're telling a young woman that she has to wait in DC on the side of a road until well after midnight for somebody to come, it's just terrible service and an incredibly irresponsible way to run your business. Had AAA told me in the beginning that nobody could make it to me until after midnight, I would have paid for somebody else to come and tow my car. It is absolutely ridiculous to continuously tell your client (a gold member too; so don't waste your time paying extra for that) that somebody will be there in 20 minutes when in actuality it is going to take hours. Had I known, I would not have used AAA. I would not have waited on the side of a road in DC for somebody who was never actually on their way. And I wouldn't have put myself in danger by being stranded in DC late at night.
Finally, my male friend arrived and talked on the phone and a tow truck came 30 minutes later (also highly questionable that when a male talks to AAA, they get service). Then there was a whole debacle on whether AAA sent the correct tow truck because they hadn't told the truck that my car was 4-wheel drive. All in all he towed my car away regardless (probably because it was past midnight at this point) and the time that it took to fix my car at the shop the next day was much shorter than the time that it took anyone at AAA to do their job.

We had an accident at no fault on 7.22.2015 when our car was parked properly and Triple A Insured driver hit our car from behind. We called AAA adjuster Michael ** who was initially very rude and told us he wouldn't help because their insured driver hit 4 other cars in the same accident. Why they didn't give priority to our car about a yearlong?
We called his manager Cathy **. She was less offensive than Michael and tried to pretend to help. AAA own estimate for our damage was $1823. 12 months have passed. We have received Nothing. If we let another 8 months, the case will drop. We have called Kathy ** several times and leave messages after messages to her voice mail and we got hardly a few calls back from her. I'm very upset at AAA. I have been with them as my auto and home insurance agent for many years and have always felt satisfied with their rates. However, last year I got a speeding ticket out of state. It was fairly minor. I forgot about it until my recent premium reflected a huge rate increase, apparently owing to my out of state ticket one year ago. I have talked to several customer service agents by phone and also gone into my local AAA office. I asked why such a huge increase since this is the only ticket I have received while with AAA for many years. Mostly they were impersonal and unresponsive, saying, "you got a ticket and this is the increase for the next three years."
I guess what upsets me is how impersonal these people are, when I expected a more personal response for my loyalty and for having a clean driving record. That does not exist these days, I know. In the end humans these days, are just numbers that translate to dollars and cents to these large companies that have such power over our lives. I was a victim in an accident where a driver pulled into my lane and after hitting me, continued to force my vehicle to the right toward a 500 ft. embankment in an area with a narrow shoulder. I fought the steering wheel to keep my tires on the pavement and prevent a more serious accident. As a result I strained my left shoulder and back and had a bruise, possibly from the seat belt across my left chest. You are required to call in your claim these days. I told the person who took the report that I was injured. I wanted an injury claim opened just in case the injury needed diagnostics, physical therapy or surgery. It is easier to open a claim at the time of an accident than go back and prove later that you were indeed injured in the accident. Apparently that individual did not open an injury claim for me.
Every time I called in to find out what I had to do to see a doctor, my call was never returned, but CSAA called the body shop that was fixing my vehicle and harassed THEM! In addition, the only communications I received from CSAA was one letter with a claim number and the name of an individual to contact and another letter cautioning that they would pursue me for insurance fraud. I kept calling and leaving my number, asking for call backs that never came.
When I finally got a hold of a "real person" I was told that my calls had been returned and that the adjuster had left numerous messages on my voice mail. I don't have voice mail on my home phone and that was the only number I had provided CSAA so how is that possible? I asked the clerk how she knew that message had been left on my non-existent voice mail and I was told that the statement was right there in the permanent records... I have no idea who was lying, the clerk or the adjuster.
I asked this clerk what I needed to do to see a doctor about my injury and what was covered. If she had my "records" there, she should certainly have seen that no injury claim had been opened. She told me that I could see a chiropractor. I didn't want to see a chiropractor, I wanted to see a medical doctor and told her so. The clerk was not helpful at all and I ended the call in frustration. I kept calling and finally did get someone at CSAA who seemed to have good customer service skills. He told me that no medical claim had ever been open and said that he would do so.
I explained that I didn't think the injury was going to be a permanent thing and that I had a future appointment to see my doctor for a final "diagnosis" and I would let him know the outcome. I subsequently received a letter from Farmers Insurance, the other party's insurer, stating that my medical claim had been denied. That denial was based solely on some cell phone photos taken by the body shop that was repairing my vehicle and no other information. Their "investigation" determined that there was no way I could have been hurt in that accident. The gist of the letter was that I was somehow attempting to commit insurance fraud.
I called the Farmer's adjuster, explained what had happened, that their elderly insured driver continued pulling toward the right and forcing my vehicle to the right after the initial collision. I explained that I strained my arm, shoulder and chest trying to keep from being forced over a 500 ft. embankment. I only had my left arm available to control the vehicle because the elderly relative who was in the car with me was terrified by the accident and the prospect of going over the cliff. He was trying to open his door and remove his seat belt and I was using my right arms to try and calm him and prevent this.
The elderly man who hit me, Farmer's insured, asked me if I was OK right after the accident because I was holding my left arm and chest and being left handed I could not easily control the pen to take down his information. The other driver assumed that I was having a heart attack and wanted to call an ambulance. The other driver told me that he'd had a previous heart attack and it was "no fun". Now how would I have known that if there was no discussion of my chest pain subsequent to the accident? The adjuster said that it was "all news to him" because CSAA had sent him nothing at all regarding any injury but he was still denying my claim.
Even though my injury was not healed, I contacted the adjuster from CSAA, told him what Farmers had said and told him to close out my claim as long as all of my other bills had been covered. I told him about the poor quality rental car that CSAA had provided. The hood latch was faulty so the hood kept popping up, there was some sort or error/warning light that sounded continually, and the car could not even make it up the hill to the home of an elderly relative I take care of. I had to figure out how to get an elderly man, with a cane and an oxygen bottle down the hill to the rental car... and then back up again... because the car wasn't able to get up the hill.
I also told him that we had auto, home and umbrella insurance with CSAA and had been customers for 40 years. I told him that I did not feel that service I received from CSAA following the accident was worth the $5000 or so I'd paid in combined insurance premiums AND that I didn't feel that CSAA was protecting my interests as an insured. I was and still am worried that if we had a claim and CSAA mishandled it as badly as this one, we could lose everything that we worked for our entire lives.
The adjuster apologized once again for the poor service and I thought I was done with CSAA. Lo and behold I received another letter from them stating that I was allegedly going to sue the other driver and they were demanding reimbursements for medical payments that they made. CSAA made NO medical payments on my behalf and there is no lawsuit and will be no lawsuit. I wanted to know what bills they thought they had paid and who told them that I was suing the other driver. I began to wonder if they didn't have my claim mixed up with someone else. Numerous calls to the number of the individual who sent the letter resulted in being transferred to voice mail and there were no return calls.
I called other numbers and spoke to "real people", clerks, who simply directed me back to the numbers I had previously called and had been referred to voice mail. I finally e-mailed a query to CSAA because I was becoming uncomfortable about an ongoing problem with their incompetence. I wanted their answers in writing. I received a canned reply stating they could not answer my query in writing. I had to call the numbers provided, be sent to voice mail, then hope and pray that somebody actually returned my call and didn't lie about leaving me messages on my non-existent voice mail. I have yet to receive anything from CSAA.

It has been over 3 weeks since I was charged for a policy I did not accept and AAA refuses to refund my money. The agent I worked with was entirely incompetent. All they want is your money. He was very swift to charge my card for a policy I had not even signed for. The details of the policy covered absolutely nothing. Thankfully, I was not swayed by the cheaper amount he gave, but looked at the details. Compared to my current policy with Geico which he tried to convince me to cancel, I opted out of the AAA policy. He then said I had to send a "cancellation letter". Considering that I never signed the policy, I was confused as to why it was necessary, but I sent it all the same. I tried to reach out to the agent via email and phone after several days of zero correspondence and no refund. He didn't respond.
I reached out to an agent in their call center who told me I had to work with the agent who worked on the policy. I then emailed him and his "supervisor". The supervisor said I would receive my refund in 3 business days. That was 2 weeks ago. Last week I called their call center to follow up only to be told the agents had done nothing. Yet another agent requested a cancellation letter and a copy of current insurance (yet again why??). She guaranteed my refund would be received in 5 days. Still nothing. 3 weeks and 4 days since the initial charge, I am speaking with yet another "agent" who will "get to the bottom of it." All faith in their competency and honesty is lost. After being a Northern CA AAA member (Auto & Homeowners) for 10 years we felt that our family was covered. August 2013, I did not receive my monthly bill from AAA. I promptly called and offered payment. I was advised that AAA had switched to a new computer system and that my policy data had been lost. I was told that this had happened to many other members and that my due payment would be spread over the next year as a courtesy for their error and my new bill would be generated promptly. This sounded good until the next month's payment was due and still no bill. I called again and offered payment, again I was given the same apologies, advising that they were working to resolve their system issues and assured that the two months would be spread over the year and the bill would come.
This scenario continued for five months. I notified management and got the same line. Finally in December I received an envelope from AAA. To my dismay I was notified in writing that my Auto policy had been cancelled in October due to non payment. I called again and after an hour going over my notes of all the calls, a supervisor was able to find my closed account and saw that I had called at least 12 times since the first missed payment, but there were no notes on their end as to why I had called. She agreed that my policy had been lost due to the computer changes and promised to research my account and call back the following day. The next day I received an apologetic phone call stating that the records had been recovered with minimal notes in the system, and admitted the cancellation was an error, but then advised that due to the length of time since the policy was cancelled, a new policy would need to be written.
I was OK with getting a new policy so I called in. I spoke directly with the underwriter who informed me that the new policy would cost $1200.00 per year, more than $500.00 more than my old premium - 50% increase! He also advised that I would need to pay the unpaid balance on the old policy before he could write the new one. He offered to accept payment for August - December over the phone. When I told him that I'd been cancelled in October and would not pay for months that were not insured, he stated that the investors were not aware of the error and the new policy required all past months be paid in full. I stalled and told him I would call back in the morning. I wish I had called another insurer right then.
The next morning I spoke to the supervisor from the prior call. She was as frustrated as I was over the whole situation and said she would take this to upper management that day. So... my husband drove 200 miles to work that night without insurance as we had been for 2 months (without notice) and rear ended a new Prius that pulled out in front of him on his way home. The car was totalled and the driver went to the hospital via ambulance for minor injuries. We are still waiting for the bills to roll in. AAA did send a letter stating that they would not cover the accident, but listed our vehicle as a Hyundai Accent. It was a Dodge Dakota. They have also offered to renew our roadside service. So considerate of them. I thought AAA was the way to go... No Way!!!

On March 4th I called AAA to renew my vehicle insurance policy which would expire on March 7th. I should mention that I have not had an insurance claim in the 30 years that I've lived in Nevada. I set the premiums up on a monthly Auto Pay which drafts payments from my bank account automatically and gave them my new debit card number to use for the transactions. Within a few days I had received a "Notice of Renewal Policy" with instructions to attach it to my current policy, an "AutoPay Schedule" thanking me for using that program to pay my monthly premiums along with the dates of each future withdrawal and acknowledging my new debit card number, and a Proof of Insurance Card.
Approximately a month and a half later I was notified by Nevada DMV that they could not verify that I had renewed my vehicle insurance. I called AAA to resolve the issue. The agent I spoke with pulled up my account and could not seem to make sense of what had happened. She put me on hold for a while, then came back and told me that she had "found the call that I had made on March 4th" but she needed to do more research. She agreed to call me back which she did about a half hour later.
Her attitude seemed to change to suspicion that I had ever called in the first place and that, if I did call, no action was taken by AAA to renew my policy. I reminded her that she had just told me that she had "found the original call" and that action had been taken because I had a copy of the Renewal Policy, the AutoPay Schedule and a Proof of Insurance Card. The bottom line was that they refused to reinstate my policy and although I had remained calm and civil throughout the conversation, none of the supervisors would talk to me about it.
I immediately got online and purchased insurance from another company. I then took my documents down to Nevada DMV where the bureaucrats there could care less about my story and told me that my fine was $501.00 for "allowing my vehicle insurance to lapse." On April 28th I wrote a letter to Mr. Robert **, the "Vice President, Policyholder Service and Solutions" at AAA detailing the situation and included copies of all my documents received from AAA and asked him to research the matter and to respond back to me ASAP because the fine would escalate in a short time. On May 16th I received another letter from the DMV giving me until May 24th to pay the fine or they would cancel the registration on my vehicle. After three weeks there was still no response whatsoever from Mr. ** or anyone at AAA regarding my letter.
On May 17th I took my story and documentation to the Nevada Division of Insurance where their reaction was, "Wow. AAA really screwed you." They got me a two-month extension with the DMV and are currently following up with AAA. Everyone and every company makes mistakes. Character is defined by how we accept responsibility for those mistakes. AAA responded by throwing me under the bus with the Nevada DMV and refusing to take responsibility for their own internal problems. I have been forced to spend countless hours in a frustrating attempt to resolve a serious problem that I had no hand in creating. I once held highly favorable concepts of AAA's business and ethical practices. I have been both betrayed and injured by a company that I once believed in.

After a few follow up calls, I was advised I would in fact receive the gift card because I did get the free quote. Two months later the same woman who told me I would receive the gift card (Lisa) told me that I would not receive it and that she never said otherwise. I would like the company to honor the promotion and for customer service not to lie to customers. I do not want to give my business to a company that offers false promotions to get your business.

I have had AAA for 5 years. I have called them twice. Once was because I had locked my keys in my car during a blizzard with my daughter. I had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes. The second time was recently I had taken my mother (83 yrs and has Alzheimers) to a plant nursery and I got a flat tire. I was given a 3 hour wait time window. It was very hot, I am diabetic and had no way to keep my sugar up and it is beyond exhausting to explain over and over to someone with Alzheimers why we are sitting in the hot car for so long.

I have been a loyal customer of AAA Insurance for over 15 years. I changed last year when I decided to check other company prices. Since then I have received offers of $10.00 gift cards from AAA for me to listen to a free quote. I did listen and have received 0 gift cards. This has happened 2 times in the last year. I have notified AAA and was told it's coming, although it has never arrived. I would like companies that make offers to keep their word.

My daughter was involved in an auto accident, with my car, 5 days ago. I contacted AAA claims this past Monday, 3 days ago, to file the claim. I have had nothing but outstanding service from the people I have talked with regarding this claim. I had a rental within an hour of filing the claim. The adjuster was out the next day. Unfortunately the car was totaled. The claim department responsible for paying me for the car was in touch the same day. Within 3 days, this claim is almost settled. And everyone was absolutely amazing. I have been with AAA for many years and fortunately, have not had to file an auto claim with them until now. I am so very glad that I have AAA and will recommend them to anyone that needs insurance.

So at the beginning of there I was t-boned by one of their drivers that they insured. First of all, it took longer than it should of to get someone to come out to look at the damage done to my car. Then when it was time to get a rental car, it took longer than it should of, compared to other insurance companies. After everything was finally said and done, I signed their little paper saying that I could not sue their driver or them for any reoccurring medical issues which I signed in the beginning of March. Right before I signed it another bill came in about owing some more money. Which I faxed them the copy and they sent out another paper with the updated amount. However, on April 25th I received another bill from the physician which was not included in on the bill from the hospital that AAA received and AAA is saying that there is nothing they can do about it since I signed the paper already.
If AAA did their job right they would of known that the physician is separate from the hospital and would of known about this bill that would be coming. I have never been hit by anyone else so I have never been through this process before but I can say that AAA is a joke and I would never do business with for my own insurance. I know next if I get hit by one of theirs then I will definitely be holding on to all the bills for a long time before I submit everything even when they call to ask if I have received the affidavit and I need to sign it and turn it in as soon as possible. The only reason why they get one star is because it would not let me do no stars.

In August of 2010 my car was stolen in Fresno, CA. My 2002 Nissan Sentra was stolen by a known individual and I filed a police report and contacted AAA to file a claim. Unfortunately AAA never filed my claim and can't find any record of the report I've made. After I contacted Fresno Police to report my stolen car I had been given a case number. To add, I went in person to the Police Department to get a copy of the report. AAA didn't honor me as a member since they've lost or never filled through the process of making a stolen car claim. I'm determined to speak with the AAA Corporate Office and demand to have my case investigated.
On August 18, 2010 I was traveling between cities. Once I arrived halfway to my destination my car had been stolen. Inside my car I lost priceless photo albums, medical treatments, important hospital X-rays, purse, money, three luggage filled with clothes, two new tires, DVD, music collection, and other personal items. The thing is I know the person who stole my car and crossed it to the Mexican border to have it stripped and more than likely it's a Taxi Cab. Finally I contacted Mexican Police and even went in person to file a report. The Mexican Commander had been very helpful by providing certain information. The person who stole my car also went to jail. However AAA having better technology than Mexico has no record of my report.

Worst Customer Service EVER. They were eager to insure my vehicle, but once they had me and I had left my previous insurer, they changed the premiums and the available discounts. I have tried time after time to reach the agents I spoke to, but I guess they are "virtual" and have disappeared into the ether. I think I will do the same. I will take my business elsewhere.
