AAA is a bit pricey, but the coverage is awesome. I can talk to someone at anytime, without any effort if I have a question or need. They have offices all over the place for my convenience and the one near me even has a DMV built into it if I need to pay a registration and get a sticker right away. The claims process is easy and I do not feel like I am ever getting ripped off. It's not great value but good for peace of mind.

I have had AAA Auto Insurance for more than 10 years and I have been generally satisfied with the service I have received from the company during this time. More than anything, I've gotten a lot of value from the roadside service offered through AAA, which is unparalleled. Further, I've found the rates to be pretty competitive. That's not to mention the additional discounts I get on travel, entertainment, and dining. I take advantage of these perks at least a few times per year and have saved a fair amount of money in the process. All in all, I'm quite pleased to be a AAA member.

They are definitely not the cheapest, but they have some of the best customer service and dealing with them is hassle free. AAA members get a lot of benefits that other companies don't offer. I've taken advantage of their free towing several times and so have my family members, with no questions ask. The few times I've had to file claims they were always polite and tried to do most of the work for me, and I never felt like they were trying to rip me off. They always respond to my inquiries quickly.

Other than the fact about it being slightly on the expensive side, when I was in an accident, they took care of all the details. They called back and always let me know if I'm injured and asked if there was anything needed. You always need someone like that once you're in an accident.

I have not had any problems with having insurance through AAA, it has always been a great experience. I never have to worry about getting a flat tire or running out of gas or locking my keys in my car. The roadside assistance is affordable and has always taken care of me in a quick manner when something like that happens. The process is always easy, too, I just have to show my card and they take care of the rest. I can even use it to have issues taken care of for friends and family that I'm with. I can go into the AAA office for things that I don't want to go to the DMV to take care of, too. Plus, my actual insurance cost is lower than anything else I've found.

Do not buy AAA INS! The very reason you buy and pay for auto Ins is so you don’t have to go to court. AAA will not pay for a wreck that their policyholder is responsible for. Two CHP reports say he is 100% responsible, AAA admitted they are responsible yet I have had to file a lawsuit against the AAA policyholder (Not AAA Ins.) because the company he was paying for coverage will not pay one penny in restitution after 7 months! He is going to court by himself – think about that if you have AAA coverage - they do not pay! You're on your OWN! AAA Insurance has a company policy not to pay claims if at all possible and apparently train their “Adjustors” to deceive and lie to people who have been injured, leaving them with astronomical medical bills not being paid, destroying their credit because of corporate greed!

Ads on road service are false. Simple jump battery ends up with their contractor running my car into their truck. Contractor insurer denied coverage. Contractor lied and said damage took place when they were unloading my car from their truck. What is the difference, damage is damage. There would be no coverage if my car rolled over a pedestrian. AAA would not submit claim to their own claim department. AAA ads imply warranty, backing for their members, and ease of mine. Suggest you buy road service from your automobile insurer.

Keep in mind I AM THE VICTIM. Through no fault of my own I was struck by another car. Here is what me, the victim, has to do according to AAA. AAA Cheryl ** (**) ASKS THIS OF ME!!!
She wants me to... take my car to a specific AAA preferred auto body shop. She would not send someone to my home to look at damage! I took it the shop they requested. The shop gave me the estimate. $2800. Send her copy of estimate. Take the car again, (estimate was too high). New estimate $600. Give a statement over the phone as to what happened at the accident. Wait until the AAA insured (lady who hit me) can be located, talked to by Cheryl. Send her the police report. Send her any information I may have including pictures. 8) Make her a drawing of scene of accident and send it to her and more... WOW, I'm the victim of an accident and... The victim of planned harassment and belittlement by AAA. They are very insulting.
Here is the way the law says it should work. I do nothing and they fix my car. They should have sent someone to me to look at my car. The estimate given should be acceptable. JUST FIX THE CAR! I don't care how little or how much it will cost them. I just want my car fixed. It's been weeks and no results. I'm still trying to get AAA to fix my car! My time is money. They ask me to spend a lot of time doing all these things. These people are corrupt and liars! The preferred shop seems like it's running a scam. I got a nonbiased estimate for $1700 through a big name reputable auto repair shop. This has got to be fraud... It is too much to ask for honesty from AAA reps. There is more to the story but too much to write here.

They won’t honor their warranties. Two years ago I had to have AAA come out and replace a battery I had purchased from them just two months after the three-year warranty was up. That was in 2016. Fast forward to 2018 and my daughter was driving my car, because I had given it to her and the battery went dead. They replaced the battery and charged her for it. It’s supposed to be a three-year warranty with 100% replacement so I called their assistance so they would reimburse her. But no, they do not warranty the battery even for one day after purchase unless you are the one driving the car and call for assistance. That means their batteries are not warrantied whatsoever. If you send your grandma out in your car and the battery goes dead she’s going to pay for it or you will. I’ll never use AAA again. My regular insurance has roadside assistance. Don’t waste your money!

On May 16 2018, my van died in a busy intersection around 4:45 p.m. I called AAA for a wrecker and was told it would be 2 to 2 1/2 hrs! I called for a police officer to came and direct traffic and he called another wrecker service that arrived in about 10 minutes. They told me to forget about AAA! I misplaced the receipt, so I haven't been reimbursed. I have terminal cancer and it was about 90 degrees that day. It has been over 90 days, so AAA probably won't refund my money. They never did reply to my online complaint. Another time, my Mustang bit the dust and I called AAA. The closest wrecker was 25 to 30 miles away. I told them to bring a flatbed wrecker so my Mustang wouldn't be scraped on the road. They sent out an old wrecker. Don't waste your money on AAA! If I need a wrecker again, I will call my own wrecker service.

On June 11, 2018 at tree fell on my vehicle. I called out AAA to make a claim. The adjuster David ** came out. The very first thing that I noticed was the tree was no longer on the vehicle. I said to him that tree was just on the vehicle. He stated that he removed it off the vehicle. Then he wanted to do a recorded statement on me. Well they never do recorded statements when filing a claim. Right then and there he was accusing me of a false claim. I wrote to Mr. ** about this situation. Mr. ** Has not yet followed up with my email. I feel very discriminated against that AAA would accuse me of these accusations. They never once went after the owner of the tree. David also told me I file for the same damages twice. It is really terrible situation when you are discriminated because of your **. Those who are looking into AAA. I usually do not write reviews, and do not like to bad mouth anyone, but I want to warn everyone of this company. First off, AAA acts as a broker to other auto insurance companies, at least that was my case. The AAA agent called me every two days to convince me to go through them. I finally caved in. It was a terrible mistake.
Long story short, unbeknownst to me, my insurance was canceled for over 20 days. As a result I had to pay a hefty state fine for driving my motor vehicle without any insurance. Thank God I didn't get into an accident. When I called AAA as soon as I found out, they said they could not renew my policy because I did not provide a required document for the agency they were going through. I was NOT told of this before. What's worse is that AAA did NOTHING to make this right. The agent that called me to make the sale was never to be heard of, and his secretary who called on his behalf didn't even apologize. Consumers beware, and do not fall victim to these hyenas that only want that sale.

I got AAA insurance the end of May 2018. In less than 2 months, I started having issues: the rep was not responsive, AAA could not get my mailing address correctly inputted (took 4 calls to correct), the rep that signed me up put the wrong VIN down and tried to put the blame on me. I received a letter saying my car was being canceled.
When I called AAA, they said the agent never returned their call about the VIN so they called the mfr! Who does that?! Why not call the customer! Because of my agent's negligence to return AAA's call, my car is being canceled. I then gave AAA the correct VIN. I called my agent to see if he had cleared up his mess and was told I was holding up Underwriting because I hadn't sent the car registration. I was never contacted about this request. My advice - stay away from AAA Auto Insurance. This headache began in June, and it's now August and it is still unresolved! Plus, the agent is not taking responsibility for his mess!

I have been a member for 25 years and they decided to drop me because I live just off the 15 FWY in Suburban Hills. They claimed that my address is associated with a "dangerous liability" so they cancelled my renewal. WHAT?!?!? Keep in mind that the hill behind my home is watered and maintained by the HOA and there is no brush behind my home. What a pathetic excuse to drop a long time customer.

This time the "medical claims adjuster" has treated me as though I am a scammer trying to dupe her about my injury despite documentation and medical charge codes and canceled checks to my practitioner as proof. She is argumentative and confrontational when speaking to me... rather than treating me like a customer... rather than work out a solution, or explain CSAA's process, she accuses me of refusing to cooperate, and proceeds to lecture me. Really weird and unprofessional. I also agree with the complaints about CSAA's road service. It took them 2 hours, 15 minutes at 10:00 am on a Saturday to come and change a tire. Unreal.

My car got vandalize on July 1, 2018 and I filed a police report right away. When I called my insurance to report it, they told me that I had to wait for an estimator to inspect my car. It took them 1 week to get an estimator just to check how bad it was and the guy basically told me that I just have wait for their call. So I waited, and on July 11, 2018 I got sick of their alibi transferring me to different people and made me talk to Toyota Financial about my options, which I did and they told me that my insurance should be the one talking to them about it.
Got myself a rental car which I used on July 11, 2018 til July 25, 2018 which I paid out of pocket, and when I called my appraisal about how am I gonna get it reimburse she told me that she’d take care of it, and now July 30, 2018. The AAA lady Teresa said that as long as the vehicle wasn't over 14000 lbs and wasn't a commercial vehicle that it would be covered!!! Then I told her that I was a member and had just been denied a tow. She talked to a supervisor and confirmed that the policy wouldn't cover the truck. My experience with AAA was the worst car service I've ever received. My car originally broke down from overheating on 5/29/18. So, I called AAA to have it towed. When speaking to the receptionist, she explained the tow truck would arrive within 1 hour. After waiting 2 hours, the tow truck finally arrived. The man who finally showed up had track marks covering his arms, some of which were still bleeding, his teeth were black, and he seemed totally out of it. He never said hello, was cursing, yelling, and mumbling to himself throughout the entire encounter, and kept pulling at his own hair. As a nursing student, I was fairly certain he had used drugs recently. Standing there alone with a dead phone battery, you can imagine how apprehensive I was about getting in the tow truck with him. But, it was my only option as I did not have another ride.
He asked me where I wanted to go to have my car serviced. I would have liked to take my car to the Honda Dealer, but his erratic behavior deterred me from going to a garage that was far away. I told him to take me to the closest place possible because I was very concerned that he would wreck the vehicle. My suspicions were later validated when he swerved the truck as we were driving. The closest garage happened to be AAA garage in West Chester, PA which was approximately 0.75 miles away from the location of my vehicle. I agreed to have my car taken there under the circumstances. When we arrived, they told me it couldn't be fixed that day because it was too late and that I would have to wait until tomorrow (Wednesday) to have it fixed.
On Wednesday, they contacted me in the morning stating my car had a leak in the radiator and that I would need a new radiator, thermostat, and 2 hoses to fix it. They told me it would cost $800 to have this done. I agreed to the service. Later that afternoon, after my car was "fixed," I picked it up. They explained it was fixed and running fine. Well, the truth is, it wasn't running fine. After picking it up, my thermostat gauge was all the way up to HOT when driving it. I didn't think anything of it because I had just picked it up from the garage and to be quite frank, I'm not a mechanic.
4 days later, on Sunday 6/3/18, it broke down again. Same thing -- overheated. At this point, I was extremely frustrated. Because I was closer to my hometown this time, I called AAA again and had it towed to a mechanic that my family knows and trusts. He explained to me that after AAA fixed my car, it should have been test driven to see if the temperature gauge was still going up and it clearly wasn't. I feel as though something was missed or my car wasn't properly diagnosed to begin with. After paying $800 just to have your car break down 4 days later is very upsetting, to say the least.
I am so disappointed in AAA all around. My family and I have been members for many years and have paid so much money for our membership. To be treated in this way is an absolute disgrace. I am still attempting to get a refund or some sort of compensation for everything that has happened. My only hope is that this gets resolved in the near future.

Getting the insurance was fast and the service was very friendly. I really enjoyed their towing roadside service. Seemed you could always count on AAA. Plus even if you were driving someone else's car it was covered. Also back then it was nice taking care of renewing my car's tags right at the same place. Made for a great overall one stop get it done and not have to wait in a line. Service was great as the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable and were able to set me up with what I needed. After having an incident they were quick to help me out and reassure me all would be fine. However, price of policy always seemed a little high. Of course back then I had a full time job and was able to afford having the protection.
Today I am with State Farm and they have a really great package and discounts for multi policies. I don't know if AAA does as the last time I checked with them they wouldn't take me because I had no coverage at the time. So I never went back to them. I didn't see that as a good enough reason to disqualify me. I have tried a few other companies over time. Some were good for awhile and some rates got too much. I have always been an excellent driver, so I feel I shouldn't have to pay high priced policies.

AAA is all about them, and not taking in consideration how many polices you may have with them. I have full coverage on my 4 cars and one on my home. Then on top of that you have to pay for a AAA road service policy with them at a $150.00 per year. I was backing up in my truck by a road worker because of the bad rain and the area was flooding. Then a car wasn't paying attention. We both meet together. I put a 2 inch crease in his bumper that was already dented in several areas, paint scrapings along the right side of it and a good size dent above the right side of the Quarter panel. I took pictures and made notes and comments on the picture from what I did and what was already done. I never heard back from AAA on what they did 'till I got my new policy. It went up and took a point off me. Come to find out they replaced the entire bumper against me. The claims adjuster lost the picture and didn't bother to get a hold of me for a copy.
Also I took my limited edition 2005 50th Anniversary in an authorized AAA body shop after a large truck dropped something of it's load and that knocked my side mirror off and dented the panel. After they had it for over a month I went by to check. Oh what a mess. Color didn't come anywhere near the color of the car. The AAA adjuster was pushing me to close the claim and keep working on the body shop's guarantee. After 4 more tries it still didn't match. Come to find out they had to use water base paint because California banned the paint used from Ford. I got the feeling AAA was working more for the body shop than me. He was rejecting the work I felt needed to be done. I am still unhappy. The depth of the paint on the rest of the car's stock color is deeper than the door they repainted and I was told take it up with them because the claim is closed. So do not settle your claim regardless what your AAA adjuster suggests.

I cashed out the one claim that was covered by the other insurance, and then I cashed out 2 of the 3 rentals I had. They almost didn't let me cash out the second rental because they didn't think I knew it's PER CLAIM. So I get my inspection done at one of their approved places so I can find a shop. When I took it to the shop (not listed but approved) they decided not to give me third rental. The lady just talked at me with words but didn't actually explain the situation. I called her on it and she immediately transferred me to someone else. At that point I just said, I only called to set up my rental, can we do that?" And the new lady immediately did. Like why was it so hard? So a few days pass and my shop needs more money than they originally estimated.
Instead of taking their invoice they made the shop wait for the guy and reinspected, but they did different claims on different days! My repair was eventually done and I put all the money into the deductible (it was 2 claims, $1,000 total, $876 from AAA). But Jesus. All it was was body work on a Mercedes. It should have been as simple as the cost of new parts and labor (all of which were plastic, by the way). In the end AAA mailed the check to the shop the same day it was finished. In total it took 2 WEEKS to fix. All I needed were both bumpers and a trunk panel. On top of that each claim went to a different adjuster, so keeping track of who was on which one was nearly impossible.
The guy who handled the cash out even called to confirm that I'm not fixing the bumper with that claim. Like what the hell--the cash out means it's over. No more claim. File closed. But no, he had to ask me about it after I cashed the check. How does it all take 2 weeks and a lot of harassment? Better question: how is any of this legal? I only demanded coverage I paid for with comprehensive and collision. They fought tooth and nail to prevent any assistance. I got lucky and had a VERY good shop. Had anyone else handled it I doubt all 3 claims would have been attended to.

We have had AAA in the past and the security of having roadside assistance was always comforting. I also like the dependability and the travel discounts! It became too expensive for us to use but we have considered reinstating our plan. We only had to use it one time in about 5 years but I always felt a little safer knowing we had the plan. Our experience with AAA while we had it was great.

I am loyal customer of AAA insurance from last 3 years and pay for whole year in full every year. Recently I added my wife in insurance and it’s going to renew in couple of months so representative told me it’s going to add that amount in next bill but before that they cancel my insurance. I already pay full till May, 2018 but they cancel it in March saying that, "You didn’t pay for additional driver". They ask me to rewrite application again so I did that and they charge me triple amount for my 2 car insurance and one of them is minimum liability insurance still they trying to charge me 900$ per month. That’s for basic cars. Ridiculous. They're saying that this is whole new application so previous loyalty can’t count. Whole new process from beginning. It’s feel like they trying to rob their customers. Really disappointed. They don’t like loyal customers.

In a world of difficult companies that take consumers money, but offer little service, AAA Auto Insurance provides decent service compared to others. I have been driving for over 30 years and have never caused an accident, but has been hit twice. I filed a claim when another driver made a left in red while I had the right of way. I felt lucky that I got a few numbers of witnesses because if I didn’t, they would have paid the claim. I was unhappy because it is never legal to make a left in red. And I get frustrated that I am treated the same as people who are texting and reading their phones while driving. Talking on the phone and not paying attention to what is going on around them is a serious issue, but I don’t feel like insurance companies do anything except charge them more when they cause accidents. It is getting worse with almost every age group doing it.

They offer reasonable prices and a lot of discounts for various qualifications. They also have a good package for car towing and vacation package discounts. However, I can't choose payment date - they won't adjust policy premiums to match a better payment date that is more convenient for me. I get paid twice per month and having my insurance payment fall during those dates would be helpful. Also, we purchased through an individual agent but when they retired they didn't put me with a new agent in my area. So now I must go through the main office and I never get the same person.

Although I now have insurance through USAA, I have used AAA as a resource previously when I was in an accident and that company is incredible. It was easy to purchase and maintain a policy. The company was calm and gracious in its dealings with me. It includes a rental car if you are involved in an accident, and it also has roadside assistance in cases such as flat tire or break down. Towing can be so expensive without this. Sometimes in passing, you hear a buzz about companies from others who aren't happy, in this case I have only heard positive reviews from people about this company.

Purchasing my auto insurance was rather easy, I signed up online and within a few minutes I was talking to someone on the phone completing my transaction. It probably took me a half hour from the time I signed up online until I was hanging up the phone, and checking my email for my confirmation. I love everything about A.A.A. I like that I don't have to worry about my car breaking down, because if and when it does, I can call them and know they will send somebody to help fix the problem. I've never had to wait very long for a tow truck to show up, and while I am waiting they keep me posted with phone messages or texts. The only thing that would make this insurance company better than it is already would be the obvious... lower premiums! They are rather expensive which makes it very hard to keep them as my insurance company.

I like AAA and the features and the policies they offer to help out the consumer. The company also allows add on on to your plan so you're able to get other people's cars towed as well. However, there are only two free tolls when I believe we should have unlimited from our insurance company and I believe they could improve that by adding unlimited tows so that you know the company has your back. My overall experience with the company is good but it does take a long time to get set up especially over the phone when trying to get insurance for multiple cars.

Decent policy at decent price. Purchasing it was an easy process. The guy who set it up was fast and nice. Easy to reach on the phone or in person. They usually also have some people that I've seen around town there and that is interesting because now I know the secret place where they get their car insurance. Also they can tend to have some very fast lines which is cool. But they need to loosen up on all the claims proof. Sometimes you can't remember something. I was just hit from behind a few weeks ago while sitting at a red light. The guy said sorry, that his foot came off the break and he was lunging for his water bottle. He has AAA Insurance so I felt confident everything would be ok and I didn't need a police report. The next day he reported that he had been hit from behind which pushed his car into mine therefore AAA is denying the claim and making me run it through my own insurance and having to pay a $500 deductible.
Here's the problem: Neither myself nor AAA insurance can help that this guy is lying but they "can" see that there is absolutely zero damage to this guys car (I have my own photos because I took photos of his back plates and AAA has the photos he sent them). I hold them 100% liable for standing the guy's story. They told me there is a "scratch" on his right bumper. A "scratch" doesn't throw you into the car in front of you and they know it. However, depending on what agent you work with, I have worked with some very courteous agents, but have also dealt with some who have been very rude. Makes you not want to deal with that particular insurance company. Also, the cost is a little too high. Went thru local agent to purchase the policy for home and car. Was surprised to find it cheaper to purchase AAA coverage and insurance than to just buy insurance due to the credit for having AAA. They have friendly support and service agents. Straightforward and Easy claim process. We had to file claim after lightning strike and our adjuster made the process simple and fair for us. But there were a few hoops to jump thru to start claim process. Also, they raised deductible from $1000 to $1500 after natural disaster claim (direct lightning strike).

When I moved out I had to change the policy to my name and I stuck with them because all I had known was this company. But I did not like it because it cost too much and I could not afford it at that time. I would change pretty much everything about this company. I think it is meant for older generation. Also, I would improve the cost of the insurance and their customer service. The company did not work for me, because it was confusing at times and I didn't really want to call the agents. I only had an okay experience when I got into an accident than they were making sense. But they helped me through it. And after that I knew I needed a different insurance for myself that would make sense to me. I did not have them for very long and as soon as I got a chance I switched to another insurance.

The agents are very helpful and they generally do a good job at explaining what your policy covers but if they could explain in more detail what your coverage is and the cost of that coverage, that would be great. This company is well known and provides great coverage at an affordable price but if there was a way to lower prices would be great too.

I enjoyed being able to drive to a location nearby to talk with a live representative, that was usually a pleasant experience. I liked the proximity of the location to my home; the ability get free road maps, discounts for vacations; the ability to pay car registration within AAA Store location, affordable road service, no long waiting lines. However, I would like to have received discounted annual payments the longer I remained a paying client, rather than receive annual increase in monthly payments. I would have appreciated some acknowledgment of remaining a loyal customer for all the years I kept the home, auto, and roadside assistance service, not to mention being compensated for referrals would have been a welcomed reward.

My wife was hit by an unethical AAA insured driver. This driver backed directly into her on the passenger side door and he was not moving... there was NO DOUBT in this case... The evidence was almost indisputable. AAA spent money and time sending people out, their representatives were always rude and implied that we were liars in spite having witnesses, images that completely indicated fault and a home surveillance camera showing the incident. AAA and my company (not and never will be AAA) has to go into subrogation. My wife was hit by them and they treated her terrible. This was a cut and dried case and was witnessed by third parties willing to make a statement. Yet AAA continues to treat us bad, continued to force it into an arbitrator and after almost 5 months, the case was settled and they had to repay my insurance company, my standing with my company was restored and my initial out of pocket was refunded.
AAA is a terrible and unethical company. I have had to deal with this kind of thing a few times but never have I seen a company behave like this. I urge you to think seriously about being an AAA customer. Even more important, if you are involved in an incident with a driver that carries this insurance, you better be organized, take a lot of images, contact police, take good notes and if witnesses exist be sure to get their contact. Never assume that this company would be responsible... they won’t! They aren’t!!! They will do whatever they can to avoid paying a claim. It is no wonder why over 50 percent of their reviews are ones and most would give zeros if that was even possible...

I've had to file multiple claims with AAA, every time they have made it so easy. Being in an accident is stressful enough so the fact the I know all I have to do is pick up the phone and let AAA take care is very comforting.
The two "issues" I have with AAA is the high cost, but it's something I understand. I do have a choice to go with a less expensive company but I fully believe you get what you pay for when it comes to insurance. The second "issue" happened during my second accident. I had recently changed my semi-annual policy payments to monthly payments. This month, an amount of $966.04 (that could not be explained how it was calculated) was automatically deducted from my account when I was expecting only approx. $155.00 to be deducted. After talking w/ customer service several times yesterday, they are working on refunding my money to my account and admit it was an error on their part; however, they can't really explain how this error occurred in the first place. This significant amount of money has caused me to have issues with my bank account and have to put off paying other bills until the money is refunded to me (which will take up to 72 hours, I'm told). It's a HUGE inconvenience, and I am absolutely not going to put myself at risk of it happening again. And if they don't know why it happened in the first place then they can't guarantee it won't happen again.
I immediately closed my auto and home policy with AAA, because their system obviously can't schedule and manage deductions accurately and their customer service is not quick to handle correct an error of this size. I was told by my bank they could still cancel the transaction as long as it was in "pending" status on my account, but it went through this morning as a debit. The fast, convenient staff was great and the refreshing refreshments in the office is just a bonding experience choosing this insurance company's right policy for what I needed and everything else they did to get me on my way they also were very fast. But coverage could be a little better for basic insurance premium like rental car could be included in all insurance. Plus maybe fixing your car could also be included in a monthly payment. They could also improve the location of the nearest one to where I live.

I most like the ability to obtain travel-related materials free of charge. I also appreciate having the ability to easily speak with my agent, and his expedient responses to my inquiries. The process of purchasing my insurance policy was swift and painless, and payments are easy to make. However, I am not a huge fan of the smartphone application that pairs with my policy. I also dislike the frequency with which my rate increases, although I have found this to be true of all insurance agencies for which I have had contacts. But overall, AAA meets my needs well.

AAA Auto Insurance is decently priced and stress-free. I like their auto club benefits, roadside assistance, discounts available and emergency road services. I also like that they're easily reachable 24 hours a day and they generally have quick responses when contacted. There's an array of other services available and their associates are knowledgeable with helping. They decide the best policy possible to fit the needs of the policy holder. But they should listen to their policy holders better when dealing with accidents instead of just making decisions that could affect the policy holders.

It was very easy to obtain the insurance. At the time it was the cheapest insurance and we knew the person that sold it to us. It was a good experience for the first few months. We got updated cards in a timely manner. We had insurance through this company in the past and had no issues but this time was different. They kept raising the rates every few months and it got too expensive for us and we had to switch to another insurance company. We are on a fixed income and need cheap insurance.

They have always been very good and reliable. I like the towing, the discounts at various retailers as well as help in planning trips. You can also get maps and information on anywhere you want to go or move to. I would recommend AAA to all my family and friends and anyone else who needs great reliable insurance coverage. The perks alone are worth it. But I just wish insurance was cheaper. They are just so darn expensive.

All insurance is a pain to work with especially when you're first getting signed over, but whenever I need to call and talk with a representative they are always very helpful, patient, knowledgeable and kind... I'm 23 years old so I'm easily overwhelmed with adulting. AAA always take the time to explain things in detail to me. However, I wish they had better coverage for my travel trailer. I live in a 28 foot Avion travel trailer and don't drive it often. I wish they had a smaller monthly with full coverage for it available. What I'm paying now seems too high with not enough coverage. I would strongly suggest AAA Auto Insurance to anyone. I love my roadside assistance from this company! Which I haven't used on my new car yet but my old truck I used it often! Wonderful company to work with all around! Fast service and great overall coverage too!

When I got into a fender bender one time they came out and got my car and took it to a nearby car fits your place. That's free of charge which is that way I don't have to call a tow truck and pay. They come out and get me instead. And whenever I went on the Keeshan with my little family most places give you discounted prices for having AAA. I like that if my car ever write down they would come pick me up and take me to a close area to get my car fixed. It's also a good price to pay a month. And I get discounts on hotels and vacations. I suppose a good insurance to have. When I compared different insurance companies this seem like it was the best one for the price and what you got for it. And that they're always hopeful.

They're nice for total coverage. When someone crashed in my mom's car and lied that they were insured, AAA covered the cost of a totaled car. Really easy to work with and always help out. Pretty good, in general insurance is high for young people, worse I had a Cabrillo convertible which was classified as a sport car when it's really not, so originally paid $120 each month, but now I'm down to a non-sport car and it's a lot more affordable for full coverage. But I wish they insured when things got stolen out of your car. My laptop was stolen with broken window but of course no one covers that. Also once a tow truck driver took me to a location that should have been a 15-minute drive but he drove for over 40 minutes.

Purchasing their insurance is simple and quick and can be done at any of their many locations. The benefits of staying with them for so many years are good too. They do not doubt what I say especially since I have had minimal claims in over a decade. I also like the fact that they can help book vacations and travel. Long time customer benefits and easy claims filing when something happens. There are many locations in my area which makes it convenient. However, AAA costs more than others. The customer service can be iffy at times. I also don't like the amount of paperwork that gets sent every time you call them. They make mistakes.

However, I don't have a specific rep you call or email directly, other than that detail, I'm very happy and I'm not inclined to look elsewhere. Thankfully they towed me all the way but the charge for the extra miles sucks. My overall experience and process of purchasing the Triple A auto insurance policy went pretty smoothly. I didn't have to pick up my phone and wait for someone to answer on the other end of the line, not like every other company out there that I have tried. It was very simple to sign up even though I did not do it over the internet. Everything was straightforward. I just had to check off some stuff and put in my information as well as my dad's information. The response after I send in my application was pretty quick, which made it completely awesome.
Triple A is extremely affordable. I also like that it is extremely convenient and extremely cheap to add on a family member, which I absolutely did. I added my father. Getting Triple A for my father definitely gave me more of a peace of mind. Although I very much like Triple A insurance for cars, there were still very few things I didn't quite understand.
One main thing I didn't understand since the very beginning before I even signed up was what the insurance covered for the amount I paid. I understood I would have access to a tow truck 24/7 anywhere in the country as well as fuel recharge and battery recharge or even a popped tire, but I'm almost certain the insurance covers a lot more than just that. One other minor thing I didn't like about Triple A was that they send way too much paper in sending mail to their clients' homes. With so much technology and cellphone users these days, there is absolutely no reason to be wasting so much paper and harming our environment.

We called and got everything set up over the phone. We were quoted a set price, no hidden fees. They have full coverage, you can pay monthly or every six months. Also basic coverage, passenger care for emergency wrecks. Doesn't cost much more to add people or vehicles to an existing policy. I wouldn't change much at all. They have and run a huge business, local branches to us. Open Monday through Fridays and still take their payments if it is a weekend or holiday. Never change their prices or policies. Customer service is always great too. Business in general can improve overall, however, their business is pretty good. We only changed companies because we found a branch closer and a bit more affordable. They have a 10 day grace period just in case direct payments from our bank are late. I've had AAA car insurance for a long time. In 2011, I backed my car up and my bumper touched the car parked illegally. The owner was out of the car but started screaming that I hit his car. I went and got the local police (it was at a festival). The two policemen refused to write a police report because they didn't see any damage, but told us to exchange insurance info. A few days later, AAA called about the claim and told me that the owner had claimed bodily injury. I told them that the owner was NOT in his vehicle. The AAA adjustor came to my house to check out my vehicle and then AAA called me to say that they denied the claim since there was no damage.
Five years later, I got a point on my insurance because Farmers insisted on arbitration and the arbitrators decided to give that crook $1200. And, I had someone in a parking lot hit my car but not leave a note. I got the car fixed on my collision policy with AAA and they also put a point on my insurance. If we pay for insurance, why does it cost to use it once in a while? I think AAA is crooked in doing this. If I had paid cash for the repair, it would have cost less than the AAA premium increase for the three years that they increased what I owed.

I had no problem on my end (adequate funds, etc.) and simply wished to give AAA my money. It took ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES before I found someone (the fourth person I spoke to) capable of assisting me with this basic task. I am SHOCKED at the incompetence and rudeness I experienced today, and was a hair's width away from canceling my policy. --- Details --- First of all, the website I received the initial phone no. from was for Northern Cal, and not So. Cal, without mentioning the fact. Five minutes wasted. Next, I called the proper So Cal number and was put on hold for 15 more minutes wasted. I hung up and called my local branch directly.
The person I spoke to made no mention that he would put me on hold but then did so, 10 more mins wasted. Next, I called back got hold of an agent, explained the situation and he made ZERO attempt to apologize for my wasted time. His name was Faun **, (San Diego branch) he was incompetent, unable to process my payment via the phone, despite my having ample funds, and unable to suggest anything except for calling me a liar (suggesting I didn't have the money I claimed to) and also that I should drive down to process the payment in person. I told him this was absurd got heated, and he hung up on me. Unbelievable. He should be fired straight up.
The next person I spoke to was polite, but also incompetent, unable to explain how I could navigate the website, and unable to process my payment. - FINALLY I spoke to a supervisor, who was able to help me in minutes, explaining that the website was on lock for payments because of a recent auto pay I made, and that he could take my payment via check, but not my debit card, despite these being the same account. This is the experience I should have had from the start. The website also, should inform you of the fact that auto-payments negate the ability to pay a bill online.
