Bought this Whirlpool Imperial Super Heavy Duty Plus top loading washer in 1996 and I haven't repaired or replaced anything on it. The best washer I've ever owned. Can hold a king size blanket or comforter no problem & cleans well. Has 4 sz loads, 4 cycles from hand wash to normal, place for bleach & softener. Ive only had to keep it clean & it runs like a champ. Highly recommend this one.

This was a more expensive model but it was worth the purchase price as I have used the various features provided. The machine is reliable, does not take forever to do a load, it is relatively quiet. It has sufficient options depending on the size of the load. Additional options are time setting, choice of warm, cold or warm/cold water settings. On light and medium loads it extracts almost all of the water; on heavier loads an extra dry spin does the job. In all the years that we have had it, it has required only one service call.
