We needed an awning to make our massive deck usable. Our deck is west-facing and it gets extremely hot sun. We had searched for a long time and we found it on sale at Costco. We bought the largest model available that has automatic retraction. We're very pleased with its functionality. There's a lot of value in the product. We like making large purchases with Costco. They really stand behind the products that they sell. Obviously, SunSetter has a good reputation as well. We've really enjoyed it the few times we used it and we think we'll enjoy it for many years to come.

I had a SunSetter awning installed and ran into a snag because now my storm door won’t open. The header piece for the storm door is behind the awning, and if I try to open the door, it would hit the awning. I don't know if the girl measured it wrong. I called my oldest son who’s a carpenter, and he said I can cut the storm doors off. He told me how to do it, but I’m 80 years old and can’t do it alone. I called the installer and told him what I found out, and he said he’d be back in two weeks to straighten it out. I haven't heard from him since. Now I’m looking around for somebody that can help me do that. Other than that, I love the awning. I'm really happy with it. I'm just not too happy with the installer.

I ordered a new awning from SunSetter Awnings to replace the one I had. They didn’t install them. I did.

My SunSetter Awnings are good. I don't use them on a patio. I needed an awning to protect the boathouse against the weather -- it's not a conventional type of usage. I bought the first one about six or eight years ago. It's power retractable. It's fine. It provides the coverage I need for that. They do what I need them to do.

I'm very happy with my awnings. I've had them for three months now. Customer service was fine, and the installation team, they did good.

They put the SunSetter awnings in the spring, three or four months ago. We got a Costco card, and they recommended it. It was all good.

My awning got trashed and I replaced it with sunshades from SunSetter. Unfortunately, I live on the salt water, and I left the cranks in place, which I shouldn't have done, and they’ve already started to rust even though it was just installed in March, so I will be surprised if they last five years. I wasn't overly impressed with the salesperson, but he was all right. I got the sense that he didn't wanna do the job because it ended up being pretty small compared to their overall products, which I would have loved to do if my insurance company had been willing to pay for it.

I got an electric awning from SunSetter. I wasn't around when they came out to install it, but my wife said it was fine. It’s working well, and I use it every day. The only thing is I wish I paid less for it.

I wish we never got the awning, first, because it’s an awful lot of money. We had them out last year and they gave us a quote. This year, the quote they gave to us was $2,000 higher than what it was. When we were talking with the salesperson, we felt pressured to go ahead. We didn’t get a second opinion. My husband asked for a second quote, and the salesperson did not accept that.

We had our new patio laid in the back and we thought it would be a good idea to have an awning over it. I went on the computer and saw SunSetter and contacted them. The sales rep came to the house and give me all the specifics. The visit was very pleasant. He explained everything and gave us all the information, and we signed on.

Everything’s been great about our SunSetter Awnings. We got ot this spring and the installers did a great job. It works out excellently. We love it.

I'm having an issue with the SunSetter awning, and I'm trying to get some service on it, but nobody will get back to me. I had it out the other day, it was a little windy, and it made a funny noise, so I retracted it right away. I don't wanna use it now because I don't know if something got disconnected and I can’t get ahold of anyone to come out and take a look at it. So, there’s a $7,000 awning sitting on my roof that I can't use because nobody will call me back.

I purchased the SunSetter because a friend of mine had one and I liked it. My awning was installed a couple of weeks ago and they did a good job.

My aluminum awning got blown away during Hurricane Milton. I got a retractable awning from SunSetter which was 20 x 10 large size, electric and had the wind sensor on it. The installation went fine and the installers knew what they were doing.

My experience with the installers was very good. Their experience stood out and they look like they were double checking measurements and angles. Their pricing could be better, but other than that, I would recommend them.

It’s very easy to get in contact with a representative, and the quality of their awning was fine, but they have to fix something on one of the awnings because the motor is just making more noise than it should. Overall, we’ve had a good experience with SunSetter Awnings.

I have had two awnings installed by SunSetter Awnings. The customer service and the installer were excellent. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service.

We purchased a shade covering from SunSetter. It is automatic and can also be used manually if the motor breaks down. I did the installation myself and I was very happy with the outcome of the project. It was great. They provided the necessary parts to do the installation.

Great product, and a great sales experience, but the shipping was slow so don't be in a hurry, after receiving the product installation was pretty easy, called and had a question about the siding, the person didn't know any more than the instructions stated, plus I was told I would also receive a free cover, she said it more than once, but never received it, called and they're telling me no free cover, so just make sure you document everything. Other than that it's a great awning.

We've had our Sunsetter for a couple of years now and it is very helpful on hot, sunny days. We do feel a little deceived, however. THE AWNING IS NOT DESIGNED FOR RAINY DAYS! For those people who think they will be sitting under their awning on a rainy day, THINK AGAIN. The awning is NOT designed for rain. The awning collects water, sags, and will ultimately collapse under the weight of the water if left unattended.

I am pleased with the quality and service install of my Sunsetter Awning and both shades. Install team from Vinewood was excellent. The installation team was care and considerate while installing the awning and shades. The motors are powerful and the tracks are solid. My only comment is that the shipping was slow.

I called one of the SunSetter installers and their presentation was good. I purchased the electric awning and I'm satisfied with it. It was a lot more expensive than we thought, but we went ahead with it because we liked the equipment. I haven't used it much yet this summer, but I'm looking forward to using it.

I placed the SunSetterawning over a deck. I purchased the motorized awning. It's a good quality and very convenient. They had excellent customer service and they explained the whole process. It's a good product and I would recommend it.

SunSetter had a lot of good reviews and the most reviews out of all the awning places around me. The purchasing was great. The guy came over, did the presentation, and everything was good. Three and a half weeks later, a two-man team came and did the installation. It was perfect. They were professional and no issues.

Sunsetter provided excellent service. I placed my order on 3/19/25. They told me it would be 5 to 6 weeks for delivery and installation. My order was finished on April 29. It took a couple weeks longer than expected but they were inundated with orders through a Costco promotion. When it was installed on May 14, the team was professional, thorough, and the finished install looks amazing. The product is top of the line and the hardware is professional grade. It works great and I'm very happy with my decision to go with Sunsetter.

I went with SunSetter because I love the Sunbrella fabric and It seemed like a nice product. It’s extremely easy to use and good quality. I really love my awning. The guy from SunSetter was very thorough and went over everything. From the consultation to the installation, everything was wonderful. I couldn’t be happier. They were wonderful. My awning is electric, and I have the wind sensor with it.

I’ve purchased from SunSetter for many years. I usually look for stuff online because I can’t type ‘cause I can’t use my one hand really good. Then I usually call in and I talk to somebody. They help me totally through everything. I got the solar-powered ones which is what they call a sunshade. They go over your big windows. And I have a friend that installs them for me. We love them and my wife said it’s money well-spent.

We had an awning that was getting bad so we decided to go with a better one. We haven’t got it installed yet because we weren’t informed that we need to buy soffits and all those other stuff to put it up with. We’ve had to make two more different orders now which should have been part of the sale.

I want an awning because of the sun and its heat. They said SunSetter was the best, and I think they are, after checking all the rest of them.

Everyone I dealt with at the company was terrific. They were friendly and polite but more important they knew their jobs. Everything was handled by them from the HOA approval to the final installation. It could not have gone better. I enjoy my awning almost every day here in the Florida sun. It allows me to be outside even in the rain.

Great, attractive product. Makes any outdoor space feel cozy. Shades the inside of the house from the hot sun. Keeps the heat off the deck for a more enjoyable outside experience. Color options are great to match and outdoor decor you are looking to achieve. Prices are very reasonable and can fit any budget. I have 2 to shade the majority of my deck.

I went with SunSetter because of their reputation and availability through Costco. I’ve also bought SunSetter products in the past. The installers were friendly, professional, and competent. My favorite part about the awning is the ease of use. It performs exactly as advertised.

I had bought a canopy and a frame, and I liked it the first year. It was great. But when we put it up the second year, it turned green, dipped in the middle, and had puddles in it. It ended up being an expensive one that didn’t last.

I decided to get SunSetter because the sun gets hot down here. And we can't get away from it. We got the automatic type, which has a curtain that I can grip down on the end of it. It has the wind sensor feature too. So far it's rainy and the wind blows, so we haven’t had to use it much. Every experience I had and everybody I've been involved with at SunSetter has been outstanding.

I chose to have SunSetter again because I had my previous awning from them for about 17 years and was very happy with it. This time, I purchased a manual awning. Unfortunately, I like the old one better because of its material. The new one already has two water stains, even though I haven’t had it very long. The water tends to pool on it. I’m not sure if this is due to the installation, but I also can’t fully open it because the awning goes down where the arms are.

The gentleman from SunSetter who came was very knowledgeable. In fact, he was the installer and presented the product. We wanted just a screen and not an awning out over the patio deck. We knew what we wanted to accomplish. The gentleman was very accommodating. He looked at what our needs were and then offered us a solution for that, as well as choices of colors and recommendations, which we totally agreed with. It met our needs and we're very happy with it. We highly recommend SunSetter. In fact, our neighbor across the street has seen our awning and purchased the product as well.

We’re still not done setting the SunSetter awning as I had trouble right from the very beginning. The motor did not work with the remote, so they sent me a new motor and a new remote. I got it to work, finally. They compensated me for my time installing it and my helper. That was good. But now, we’ve been trying the last two days to hook up the wind sensor and work with the awning and the new motor and the new remote. It’s a little frustrating.

We encountered no problems with the installation of the SunSetter awning. It was great. The awning has good quality and is easy to use and beautiful.

I got SunSetter to cover the hot tub from light rain. Well, I thought their product had the best description of exactly what I wanted. And they had the power awning, the color combination and the materials that I wanted. They just seem to have more of a variety of selection for an awning.

I had heard good things about SunSetter. I've wanted one for a really long time. So, we ordered one through it. Their website was fine. I looked up everything online and then I think I could leave a message. And then someone called me.

We're in a townhouse community, and a lot of the other townhomes use SunSetter. We got a contractor to install our awnings from their website. It feels like having another room after we installed the it. The quality is great and we’re really happy with it.

But so far, it's been really positive.

Our old awning broke, and nobody would fix it. All they wanna do is replace it. We looked into SunSetter because they've been around a bit longer nationwide. Everybody else was local. That's what the old one was– a local guy who went out of business.

I had purchased a SunSetter a long time ago and it lasted like forever. I recently got an additional one to go on a different side of the house. It's identical to the one that I had purchased before. SunSetter Awnings is a really good product. It’s very long-lasting. So I'm very happy with it.

I saw that someone at Lake of the Pines might do SunSetter awnings. I called the number, he came right out, and I ordered it. The installer told us it would take about a month, and it was here and installed within a month.

SunSetter is the biggest and best-known company. I also had a Sunsetter awning for a little over 10 years, almost the same thing to the one I bought. It’s an 18-footer upper-end model, costing 6,000 bucks. There’s a 10-year warranty and I got it through Costco. I bought a hood for it as well. I had a big problem with the product itself though, and I wasn't happy with it at all.

I saw the sign at Costco and decided I needed to get a SunSetter. I asked my neighbors, and they told me not to go through Costco but to go directly through SunSetter. With Costco, I’d have to measure everything myself. I can’t measure a big space or figure out the width, how far out it goes, or the angle of the awning. So, I went directly to SunSetter.

We purchased a 15' SunSetter awning and cover through a major wholesale club. The delivery was on time and went smoothly. We purchased the awning based on the provided information that installers were available. Drilling into concrete siding and manhandling a 15' awning was something I was happy to pay for someone else to install. I reached out to Sunsetter and there was only one approved installer in my area. I sent three e-mails and left two voicemails to that installer. I finally received an e-mail back that they are very busy but that "I'm positive he will get back with you the moment his schedule allows for it." We never heard anything back from them.

Amazing. Have been wanting for years and finally made the purchase. Worth it. Installers were great and we've received so many compliments on its appearance. It does exactly what we were hoping for - shade. It's great for the new baby in the family who likes fresh air but has to be protected from the sun.

We recently moved and left our awning with the previous house. Even in upstate New York, it was so beneficial on sunny summer days, I considered it one of my best home improvements. When we built a new house in Virginia, I had the builder remove the roof over our deck. Not we have the option of sun or shade under a 19-foot SunSetter. It's already appreciated a few weeks after I installed it. The quality appears to be the same as it was when I installed the first Sunsetter 20 years ago. I'm always happy to purchase quality-made in the USA products.

If I could give no stars I would. I was sent the completely wrong awning and now, months later, we still don't have the correct one. Instead of just switching the wrong one for the correct one, they took the incorrect one back, cancelled the order and now I have to start all over. I may look into an alternative rather than placing another order with them.

Have had one for about 8 years now and it was a fantastic purchase! They work flawlessly, with no issues or problems during the 8 years and have given us the much needed shade in all the areas it covers. You will want to make sure that you choose the correct tilt angle and height to make it perfect.

They've been wonderful. I have five other SunSetter awnings, just goes to show how happy I am with the product and the company. I have other homes and they all have SunSetter. This last one hasn't been installed yet ‘cause my homeowner’s association won’t allow me to put it up, so I'm gonna take it to my cabin in Truckee, and they're storing it for me until I can decide what to do. It took a long time to get it but it's custom-made, so I'm fine with that. I’ve been happy with SunSetter.

Costco had SunSetter on sale, and I knew they were good stuff. So, I purchased a 9-footer and an 11.5-footer shades. The enclosure was white, the shades were beige, and it had a remote control on them. The quality is excellent. The shipping containers were impressive. The housing of the shades is quite strong, and they are very easy to mount. We live on a lake and there are really strong winds, and the shades haven't been down because of the steel cables that hold them in place. But even in the winds that it has endured, it has done very well. We have neighbors that live on the other side of the lake and I think they're on their third version of their blinds.

We're very happy with SunSetter Awnings. Our new house gets the morning sun until about 2 o'clock, and it would become extremely hot so that we couldn’t sit outside. The SunSetter awning was more than we could afford, but it turned out to be reasonable price for good quality. The salesman was very knowledgeable, and installation was quick and excellent. Very nice gentleman, neat, clean, answered all our questions. Everything was great.

SunSetter Awnings is a good company. We purchased their awnings about 12 years ago and the quality is good. We always kept them out, never rolled them up, and they lasted that long. When one of them fell apart during a storm, we had it replaced and while the price had gone up, it was still in that range and the insurance paid for part of it.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with SunSetter. They were very responsive and quickly sent someone out to discuss our needs. They came up with a product that works very well, and the installation was great.

My sister had SunSetter Awnings in Las Vegas and we had been out there to visit. And when I took a look at what they offered, I liked the look of the product and the ease of taking care of it. And I had my son get an area rug for my back porch that matched. I liked what I sawthat's why we bought it.

I purchased an awning from Sunsetter because of the sun. The sales representative was excellent and very knowledgeable and the installation took about a couple of hours, though we waited for six weeks for it to arrive.

I had shades that had been put in in 2011 and one of the two shades quit working. So, I replaced both 12 foot shades on the end of the house. I had the motorized ones installed from SunSetter Awnings and they work very well. The installers were very efficient and did it in a timely manner. They explained that they have both on the same remote.

The SunSetter customer service was really great. They were very attentive and we got an appointment quickly. The installation team was friendly. They were very efficient. It took them three to four hours to finish the installation and they walked through everything with us. It was a good experience.

SunSetter has always been good about shipping it on time, and everything they said they were gonna do, they did. I have SunSetter awning in my old house and I bought another one for my new house. The one I have in my old house is 10 years old and still working. It's energy-efficient, it keeps the sunlight out but I’m still able to see out, it's a very well-made product and I’m happy with it. I'm not using the new one because it's in the new house, and I haven't moved in there yet, but it seems to be of the same quality, and I don't see any flaws with it.

I just found them online, and I've heard of SunSetter before. The dealer did a nice job. The salesman was very informative and quick. They did a nice job.

Up until my last experience, SunSetter was amazing. Everything worked when it came. It was really great. But I recently ordered seven EasyShades. And of the seven, one didn't have all the parts, the guide and bracket. But they did send that to me. One had a bad motor, so they sent me a motor. Which not everybody knows how to install motors. So, I wish they would have just replaced the whole thing. But they didn't.

I purchased an awning from SunSetter because my son has one and he enjoyed it. The sales representative was very pleasant. Since we’re part of a homeowners association, other people will probably buy them too. He explained everything very clearly.

I got a SunSetter awning with a remote control. It also came with a hand crank in case the remote control fails. The awning is attractive and it seems to be sturdy. The remote control operates nicely. The only issue I have is that birds keep insisting on trying to build a nest over time. Overall, I’ve had a very good interaction with the company I purchased from and performed the installation. I was very pleased with them. I would recommend SunSetter.

Installation went pretty smoothly. SunSetter came out, measured, and gave me samples to pick from. I like it because I have an issue with the sun coming through the window in the afternoon, and it's hard to work in the kitchen. So that blocks the sun.

The local distributor of SunSetter was extraordinary. He was very helpful and came right away. It was the easiest money that I've spent in a long time. The installation was also very easy. He came the day he said he was going to come. He was timely and left everything clean. I love the quality and how clean everything was. The product was exactly what I expected. It works beautifully.

The sales visit and installation were good. I have retracted and extended the awning a few times, and the only thing that I do not like about it is that piece that comes out the front when the wind blows. So, I’m going to have to use something like a hot glue to make it permanent. As for the price, we wanted it to be cheaper, but it was okay. Overall, everything is good with SunSetter.

I chose SunSetter because of the price. A sales representative came out, took measurements, and I was able to talk with him and ask questions. And the guys who came out for the installation were fine. I had no problems with them. They answered all the questions that I had. They did a good job and cleaned up behind themselves. 

Sunsetter had the shades I was looking for and the price was in line with others I’ve looked at. The costs might have been a little high on the installation but they did a good job on it. The installer came and measured. They had everything I needed and some samples to choose from. It was a simple process and good experience overall.

SunSetter was the only place I could find that was reputable. Customer service was great, and the product is awesome. I love it.

We’ve been long time customers of SunSetter. We have had multiple products from them for many years, and then we had the need for yet another product from a company we trusted. However, the quality was not what we experienced before, and that led to a series of emails to the customer service. Still, we were not able to get in touch with the right person. It was a frustrating process. After a lot of back and forth and having a hard time communicating, eventually, everything is working. But the process should have been smoother.

I had a good experience with SunSetter Awnings and I chose them because of the price. The installation was good. I had to wait for it to arrive, which was a slow process, but that was fine. There was a small issue, but he came out as soon as he could, and got a replacement. He did a good job.

I didn’t check out any other awning company because I like SunSetter Awnings. Their awnings are very expensive, but I wanted them, so I bought them.

I had SunSetter before and I was happy with it. This is the second time I bought the products. I was stuck with them because I liked them. I installed the shade myself. It’s reasonably priced and it looks excellent.

I do like the awning but after less than a year, it is falling off the wall. Customer service is TERRIBLE!! The customer service agent is very difficult to understand and will not stand behind their installation. He said we would have to pay to reinstall after less than a year. I would avoid Sunsetter.

We had a SunSetter dealer who installed the awning. But its quality is terrible. I'm a little disappointed in the quality control. They sent a 9-foot awning that’s supposed to be a 10-foot, and we're waiting for the replacement.

We wanted to an awning because in the area where it is now installed, we got sunlight all day long. And that was our outdoor bar area. In recent years, we've just bought that kind of metal frame with the material top, that got weather-beaten every two years though. We had to move this big structure back and forth, so we wanted something permanent. I've always heard about SunSetter through commercials, so I called and the local SunSetter came. It was agreeable on the price and the material and all that, so we had it installed.

In today's world, SunSetter is by far the most reasonable and functional option you can get. I've had SunSetter awnings for 17 years and the service has been good. I replaced the covers once, and I bought the permanent cover that mounts over the top of the shade itself, and they’ve lasted. The motor of the one we use all the time finally died, and that’s only one out of four after 17 years. I ordered it online, and after several weeks thinking the delivery should have already happened, I called and a fellow took a look at the order and discovered that I had made some erroneous selections that caused the order to kind of just sit, waiting for resolution. He solved it, it came reasonably quickly, it's installed, and it meets all my expectations. It’s exactly what we needed, and it works well.

Everything has been good with SunSetter. No problems. We cut some trees down and needed some shade. I looked at some other brand and I liked SunSetter better.

SunSetter Awning’s sales manager and saleswoman came out, and I got along with them. I thought they gave me a fair price for a manual crank.

SunSetter is an excellent company, as well as Eric, their manager. He came out and double-checked everything. He addresses if there were small measures.

This will be our second SunSetter. We originally purchased one about 12 years ago, and we love it. The person we worked with this time seemed very competent and knowledgeable. I’ve had follow‑up communication with them as well while getting ready to receive the second awning next month, and that’s been good.

My awning from SunSetter seems to be working. I needed a car cover on the side of the house that was at least attractive and could move in and out instead of being totally stationary. I use it for a car staying parked underneath it.

I went to the main website of SunSetter Awnings, and there was a referral to a local company that installed it. Well, I put a deck in a year ago, and it's in full sun. So, to get maximum use of my deck, I decided I needed an awning.

SunSetter is the best and the people there are very qualified. We had our awning replaced due to storm damage and the four installers they sent out knew what they were doing. In less than two hours, they had the old one taken down and the new one put up.

We have a second home in Yuma, and it’s just too hot on our back patio. Our friends had one, so we decided we would get one too. I went through Costco, and they had SunSetter Awnings. The company was really good about getting back to me with the order. The order came on time, and we had some friends help us install it. It works perfect, and I didn’t have any issues. I’ve had many people stop by and say they love it. Even if it’s a little bit pricey, still, it’s really high quality.

We’re in a mobile home and we wanted one of the sections in our carport to be covered so we could sit out there and not have the sun on us. My husband looked at other awnings that were a lot cheaper, and the name of the place where we bought the awning came up. We had a lady from the place come over. With how she presented herself, we felt very comfortable purchasing the product. We’ve very pleased with the SunSetter awning. So far, we’ve had no problem, and it goes in and out fine. When it’s very windy, we just retract it. Most times, it’s out covering the section that we want shaded. It’s working fine for us, so I would definitely recommend it.

I'm a repeat customer. I bought a SunSetter awning 20 years ago for my house in Pennsylvania, where there’s been harsh climate up there for 20 years, and it’s performed great, and it's still in good shape. So, the quality is great. And so, I bought a second one for my Florida house. 

SunSetter Awnings is very good. We had an old awning, but since we were old, I couldn’t put it up anymore. Because what we had was a lot different. It was already mounted. But I had to put the awning on top of it, and I couldn’t do that anymore.

The sun hits our deck really hard, making it way too hot in the summer. We wanted something to cool it off, and SunSetter was the most recognized brand we heard of. We shopped around and liked what we saw.

At my church, I am the local missions director and help run a food pantry. We work out through the backside of the church on the south side, no shade, but the last two summers have just about killed us. I've seen SunSetter Awnings over the years, but I've never had one. After we decided that's what we were going to do, I started googling retractable awnings near me, and they came up.

We had a SunSetter Awning before and it lasted 25 years. We liked the way it held up, so we got the automatic one that goes back in if it's more than 45 miles an hour wind. It looks like it's really nice, high quality. The people down in Wilmington that put it in there did a real nice job. They were courteous and knew what they were doing.

I had a park trailer, and a big 20-foot awning on it, and I loved it. I sit out here in the morning and drink my coffee. Last year, I turned around and got a park house, and it has no awning on it. All I got was a little umbrella I sat under. I told my wife that I’m going to get an awning put on.

I had been over several times to sit under it with her and I just really liked it. So I called SunSetter and I set up an appointment. Their rep came out, looked at the area for me and walked me through what to expect. We went over prices, I thought about it, and then I chose them. I went with the premium awning which has a 15-year warranty on it. I got a color with a little bit of a contrast to the siding of my house. I also got the LED lights on it and the wind gauge.

I chose SunSetter because of the fact that they were associated with Costco. The research that I did online indicated that they were a very reputable company, too. I am a bit disappointed. We had two awnings ordered, and apparently, the person who came out and measured the smaller second awning provided some errors. My understanding is that the team that came and installed the first awning saw that error and made corrections in the measurements for the second awning. They're going to finish the job tomorrow. In addition, they didn't provide a long enough cranking mechanism for the big awning. I find extending the awning to be quite easy, but retracting it requires a lot of power. Fortunately, I can do that, but it's a workout.

I chose SunSetter Awnings because it was through Costco. Everything was good with customer service.

We had an electric awning with a manual backup installed by SunSetter. We've engaged it twice and it's worked fine. We enjoy it and like the aesthetic appeal.

Setting up umbrellas every year was tiring, so I decided to look into purchasing an awning. We came about SunSetter while we were having our chimney cleaned.

I went with SunSetter Awnings because of the name brand. It was a good experience, and I had good people to deal with. I thought the price was a little bit high, but I also know that I got a good quality product. The installation process was good. There was one little issue, but they’re going to fix that.

The awning I got from SunSetter is 14x10, with black and white and gray stripes. It has LED lights and the wind thing that brings it in. I had two other awnings from Shades of Cool, and I just like them and wanted another one when I moved.

I wanted to remove an existing awning that was stationary and put in a retractable one. When I went online, SunSetter came up with lots of reports and pictures, so I saw how they looked. I called them and went from there.

I love the awning. I already have it sitting out here because it's so nice to have a covered patio. The SunSetter Awnings team was very professional, did a really good job, did it quickly, and the salesperson, Dawn, was very nice to me. She knows her business and knows exactly what she's doing. I would’ve liked it to be less expensive, but I wouldn't have gone ahead with it if I wasn't okay with the price.

I lived in California and decided to purchase an awning at Sunsetter because of the west-facing sun in the afternoon. We chose a manual awning with a bold stripe to highlight the exterior colors of our house. We’ve barely used it since it’s still March. They installed it early on purpose before the heat started, but it seems relatively easy to use.

The installation guys did a 5 star job. The appointment scheduling part of it was sheer disappointment. The number of times they changed appointments was ridiculous. Finally, the final product is not even what I had originally selected! It’s a different color altogether! Nobody bothered to check with me/notify me, nothing! Emailed them about this, no response yet. Only consolation is that this was through Costco, so I think there is hope! The installation guy assured that someone will reach out to me about this with a solution. Overall, disappointing experience.

I am extremely disappointed in this product. I purchased one to replace one that had failed after 6 years- all the other blinds are fine. The new one is far inferior- it looks slightly different, does not have the "EasyShade" logo like my others, and upon installation it is already FRAYING on the edges which NONE of my over 6 year old shades have! At $950.00 for a single shade I would expect similar quality to my past order. Would NEVER order again - seems this shade is a fake made in China.

I would love to give you an opinion, both pro and con on the awning but I have not received it. It was ordered on December 19, 2024. It is now March 10, 2025. I have not heard from the salesperson or the factory about the status of my order. At this point I don’t care if I have it or not but if they’re not going to get it to me, they need to refund my half payment that I made are back in December. And a little goodwill compensation on their part at this point being the paperwork said it would only take four weeks and we are now looking at 13 weeks. So based on this information, I have given you at this point I don’t think you want me writing a review because it would not be kind. Thank you.

On day 2 one of the self adhesive LED’s fell off the arm in the middle of the night banging on the house. On day 3 a second LED light fell off another arm sometime in the night. TCA has been advised and all 4 LED’s are now plastic tie wrapped to the arms. To be clear, Aubrey (sales) was great & Drew (install) was great also.

The installers arrived at 7:45 am. We had a brief discussion of placement of awning. He got right to work and quickly installed the awning. Then he adjusted everything, and attached power cord to wall. We then reviewed the operation of the awning, paid the balance and he left. Job well done. The only improvement I would recommend is to install the power cord in conduit. That would make it a little better. It is early March so it will be a couple of months before we can enjoy it.

Best purchase I have ever made for our home. The awning looks amazing and was like adding a new room to our house. The lights, roll down privacy screen and wind sensor were great add ons. Installation team was awesome. They showed up on time, were professional, and also very polite. Couldn’t be happier!

My wife's ex-mother-in-law lives next door to us and she had a lattice thing. She sits out there and the sun hits. The lattice thing would fall off when the wind would blow badly, so for Christmas, I got her an awning and that blocks the sun on that side. Initially, I googled “sunshade” and SunSetter was the only one that came up, but I have bought an awning for my work trailer from them before as well.

The awning is a good product, and the fact that I could get 0% for 12 months was the deal clincher for me. The sales guy was great. When he came, I wasn't even intending to buy anything, even though I wanted it. I wanted him to look at our house and get an estimate of what it would cost. But we talked about it and before the end, I just said, “We'll have to do it next year.” Because we just remodeled and moved in there, so we had a lot of expenses. But then he told me their offer and I got it done. I don't have to worry about waiting until the spring to do it. We got the retractable one and it had all the safety features. It was perfect for us. We live at the top of a hill, so there's fierce winds, and that was part of the reason I wanted that model. It puts itself back up and then we don't have to worry about it.

On our lanai, the sun would shine in the afternoon by our table, and it would get hot. We got a SunSetter awning and our experience has been perfect. We waited about three weeks after we talked to them, but they did the installation in a couple hours. I would recommend SunSetter.

I looked at advertising for awnings and SunSetter came up and there was a coupon. So, I called them. I had a top-quality experience with the sales rep and we’re in the process of getting the awning installed. The awning seems like an excellent product. It retracts if the wind is blowing and it has lights. You can control the awning remotely and it extends.

My awnings work well. I had three awnings, and the most recent one quit working. I’m a little disappointed at SunSetter Awnings that it quit working.

SunSetter Awnings is an old name. Also, we moved into a new community here in Camarillo in California. One of the neighbors had SunSetter put in and told us about them. I was very impressed. We also had an issue with internal shades that we needed to do. We went to the company that we knew. It was highly recommended for the interior shades and realized that they also did retractable awnings. We saw SunSetter that was displayed in their showroom. We liked it.

I have quite a large deck and I've been wanting to get something to use on it to give me some shade mornings in the summertime when it's so hot. I've known a few people that have SunSetter, and they really love them. I knew there were cheaper brands out there, but SunSetter has a very good reputation. I probably could not have done it 'cause I'm on Social Security, but my son got it for me. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told him I wanted a SunSetter.

Spoke with gentleman after 3 weeks to get an estimated installation date. I was given 3 reasons why he couldn't in an unpleasant tone. Another gentleman then explained it would be 8-9 weeks before installation. Since I didn't hear any more, I left the city. I think it was 12 or 13 weeks before they made contact. While I was out of town, I received several calls telling me they would install on a certain date and asked me to confirm. I never confirmed.

The quality of my SunSetter awning is top-notch. I had no issues whatsoever. The mounting of it was very simple. It was a little heavy because I got a 20-foot long one, but I was able to do everything by myself. Overall, my experience was great. I did it all through the internet, and everything was as described. It came in a nice, round, very protected tube that was delivered promptly with no damage. It worked perfectly. I feel like I saved about $1,000 with the deal they had. I looked at several on different sites. I decided to go with them because I've heard their name a little more, and I'm glad I did. What I ordered is exactly what I got. It was installed exactly how they said it would.

We've had a Sunsetter shade for 15 years, if not longer, and absolutely love it, then all of a sudden, the motor quit working. We decided we needed a new one and got the same one as a replacement. Our shade outside is great. When we push a button, it comes down clear to the base of our doors and it stops anywhere we want it to. We could also push the button and it goes up. We've never ever had a problem with it. Overall, Sunsetter's product is great. They're made beautifully and the quality is absolutely wonderful. People would never be sorry if they got one. My son has a big sunroom, and he might buy three of them to fit his window in his sunroom.

I got a different representative from the first time I bought a SunSetter, but all the people have been really nice. I've bought a bunch of awnings. I have an awning on the back of my house. I have sunshades on the front of my house. It's motorized. It was a lot of options. It's an option we could have got on it when the wind blows, if the wind blows too hard, it would close automatically if we weren't home. But we chose not to get that option. We just close it up before we leave home. We don't leave it out. It's great quality. We've had it going on four years. It hasn't faded. As a matter of fact, I got two awnings. I have an awning down on my house in Stone Mountain, Georgia. It's bigger. It shades the whole deck.

SunSetter Awnings has a good reputation. The installers were outstanding. However, the awning was late. Something was on back order. That was the only problem but that was not in their control. SunSetter has good customer service and suggestions about what would work. I was very pleased.

The area where I wanna put a table was too sunny. I called SunSetter and I had a rep came over. The reps were very nice. They explained everything very well and I liked the products. They were very prompt, too. I had a good feeling and I went with them. I got an electric one with a stripe fabric. The installers were also nice. They did a good job and were quick. They also explained the function of it. I'm very pleased.

We replaced our SunSetter awning. The hurricane blew it off. My experience with SunSetter was excellent. We put on exactly the same one. It's motorized and solar. We've got four of SunSetter's awnings, two on each of our two residences. They've all been fine. They're in different cities and both of the installation teams were excellent.

I was familiar with SunSetter and doing my research, they had the type of product that I wanted. I also had them before and the one that I had tried worked well. I put the new awning outside of my sliding glass doors, and I got a motorized one with a remote control so I can operate it from inside. It helps moderate the sun and the weather. While I wouldn't liken the installation process to watching a good movie, it wasn't all that bad. If someone has a requirement and a need for an awning, I would encourage them to consider SunSetter.

Sunsetter is terrific at calling back when I call them and they always send someone out. Everyone has been so polite, including the workers, but so far, my experience with them has been a little crazy. On 9/26, I ordered an awning, then it was installed on 11/22. On 12/27, they came for an adjustment because it was off-kilter, then on 12/29, the retractable arms that go back and forth broke altogether. One of them fell off, and with the weight, the other one also collapsed right in front of my window. I waited to get my awning working and when Sunsetter came back the other day, they wanted a service charge for it.

Two guys from Sunsetter came out, and they were extremely nice and professional. They explained everything to me. They gave me the options that I had as far as the colors. I showed them exactly where I wanted the awning and it turned out it was the perfect location. So it was good all around. The installation was quick and easy. I picked an awning that was not in their showroom so they had to order it. When they came out, they did the job. They cleaned up after themselves. They even put in an outlet to the outside that I really wanted. Overall, Sunsetter had good options, colors and reps. It was quick and painless. I felt very comfortable with them.

If an awning is what you're looking for, SunSetter is a good company to go with. They were very responsive. Everything was handled very nicely, and I was very happy with everything. The guy who worked with me for the renovations recommended SunSetter products, so I went on their website and ordered it from there. The website was fine in terms of having choices, but I did not do it on the website because I'm blind, and the website was difficult to navigate for me. I had somebody sighted working with me to pick out all the options. I just wanted something that was motorized, had a remote control, and matched the house. Simple and easy. That's how I like it. That was what it came down to. Is this thing gonna be sturdy? Is this thing gonna look nice with the house? And is it gonna cover the space that we want to cover? It does all of those things. I love it.

The installation part was good. The installers came and did what they said they would do. The girl showed me how to work everything. We have some issues with when they could come and install it. It snowed and it was too cold, so they couldn't drill into the siding. We have opened it when they were here to make sure it all works. But we have not used ours yet. It was installed late in the year. Our in-law's quality is great. They get wind up there. The awning would shut when it got windy. The installers shook it a bit to show me that the wind sensor is working. They showed me how to use the remote and added a valance type thing on the front. We use the awning up at the cabin all the time. We like it. We'll enjoy ours. It goes out the full length of the deck. We would recommend it. However, the sales process was a little frustrating. It depends on who the service provider is or the salesperson. You can get different people if you're in different areas.

The salesperson was good. He was the local guy that does everything around here in San Diego. He was pretty much no nonsense type and gave us a deal on certain things, but everything including the installation cost ended up being still a lot more money than I thought. The prices have gone up a lot in the last six years.

We purchased an awning from SunSetter because the sun is very bright in the mornings. It's also very difficult to sit outside and have to face the sun. The team did their job very well. They were also very efficient. Everything went well.

I needed an awning to keep the sun off my dining room table and I researched all the products. SunSetter was the best that I could find. I also liked the reviews and the ease of installing their awnings. I've seen and watched a lot of videos on them. Their team was fine but there was a two-month delay in getting over here. They had a problem with the solar unit being shipped on time. Other than that, I haven't installed the awnings yet since it's winter here. But it should be straightforward and shouldn't be a problem. SunSetter has a really good product and I'm going to order another one in springtime for another window.

Our previous Sunsetter awning was manually operated and it was 30 years old or more. It was getting very beat up and wasn't opening and closing anymore. Besides that, we were happy with the product and we assumed that a remote controlled awning would be an even better investment. The installers were very wonderful people. They were very professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They went step through step on how to operate the awning properly and what we needed to do in case of an emergency. Overall, my experience with Sunsetter was fabulous. I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend it.

We got a SunSetter awning to get my husband out of the sun because he gets skin cancer really easy. The SunSetter team was nice. As far as the awning, we got the remote control. You can work it manually or by the remote control. The only thing that I have against it is that they didn't tell me that when the wind blows you can't have it out. I thought you could be able to sit out if it was misty rain or there's light rain, but they said no water can get on it. It rained all summer, so we haven't hardly used it. Other than that, the quality of the product is good.

I've heard about SunSetter before and I've seen their product. A family friend had one and I was on them, but the particular one I wanted is the biggest one they make. I tried to find the best time to get the best deal. On Labor Day weekend, there was a deal going on with Costco and I bought the awning. It was a good, smooth process and the team was solid. It just takes a little while for them to make them. It's six weeks.

I'm happy with SunSetter Awnings. They were on time. They did what they said they would do. The product was as represented. I purchased two awnings from them. They're both retractable. One is a roof mount and the other is a side of the house mount. I had the higher end fabric and the remote system for both of them. And they both have the wind sensors. I wouldn't have got the second one had I not liked the first one.

SunSetter Awnings was a name brand and we knew that it was good quality. Everybody has heard of it. We got the retractable awning. It's green and tan striped with a scalloped edge. It's the biggest one that SunSetter made. It was supposed to come on July 8th, and it didn't come until October. SunSetter kept saying it was backordered. I was not happy with that. The company that we got it through said that it wasn't anything they were doing. They were trying their best to get it through. It was whoever made the awning, it wasn't getting it to them quickly enough. That was months, so the whole summer, we couldn't use it and that was disturbing to me.

If anybody around here wants to get one, I would recommend SunSetter Awnings. They were timely, efficient, and courteous. Everything I would want from a company. The installation was quick. The installers seemed efficient and obviously knew what they were doing.

We have a backyard that doesn't have any real shade and we needed to block some of the sun. I shopped around and I had another company give me a quote. Then I had Ryan at SunSetter come out and he gave me a reasonable number and I like the product. The awning we got is pretty standard. It's motorized and it's installed underneath the eaves in the backyard. The installation was done quickly. Ryan and his compatriot came out and they had it done in about two hours. We're very happy with the awning at this particular point and we're waiting for the summer so we can use it.

I had a very good experience with SunSetter Awnings. I got the best awning, because I talked to my salesperson and he explained that there was an electric one that would retract itself with winds. The salesperson, the person in the office and the installers did a good job. They were very nice. Now, my tenants want a table to sit with the awning. The material is very nice. They love the awning. They are appreciative that I got that for them because there was a lot of sun.
