Nathan was professional, patient and helpful. He was knowledgeable about your plans and was courteous to answer all of my questions. I would refer friends to him for sure. Excellent service. We talked for quite some time regarding the different plans and he was helpful with the information he gave. This company will offer a lower cost plan if you are able to do several years at a time. They are willing to work with you on how many years you can do up front. I feel they are quite professional.

I was in process of checking and comparing information of a number of home warranty companies via internet and a call came from Select Home Warranty. The person calling was Jeff from Select. We had a very informative conversation with me ending up buying a 5-year plan to cover appliances and other systems in our home. The time spent was very productive, satisfying and helpful to us. Jeff appeared to be very knowledgeable in the service of his company and was able to offer the best plan and pricing available for me. The process was quick and short in his handling of the job. The young man that called me was not only courteous but, he was knowledgeable about his product, procedures, and very helpful with setting up my service contract. The customer service he presented is the EXACT reason why I signed up. My former service lacked (I’m being polite), any customer service and as an example, they put me on hold when I called to schedule a service call for 1 hour 27 minutes. Thank you for prompt, professional, and courteous, customer service.

SHW was very accommodating when getting my furnace fixed. We tried more than one business and they continued until I was satisfied. We used an outside contractor to do all the repairs. I sent in my receipt and got fully reimbursed. I would recommend Select Home Warranty as they stand by their word. They are a very respectable company. When looking for home warranty they are number one. I did quite a bit of research and found Select Home Warranty to be the best.

I first contacted the company just before Christmas... just looking for information on their plans. They were quite nice, explaining my options, I told them I would be looking around with other companies as well. When today, I inquired again, Jeff, called me back and I signed up! If this company if 1/2 as good as all of its reviews... I will be so happy... Hopefully, will not need to claim anything, but you just can't be too careful! I hope Sam is a representation of the quality of Select Home Warranty's product. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and offered me all the options, but not pushy! He, and therefore Select, came across as professional and honest, not some fly-by-night company willing to do anything to push me in to the sale. The kicker for me was the additional roof coverage. I wish I could take advantage of the senior discount, but it isn't in my budget right now. All-in-all I was offered a product better than the competitors' products.

The Customer service assistant (Adam) was very good. I was signed up quickly and given all the information that I needed. The monthly payment is what we can afford at this time. It is good to know that our appliances will be taken care of in the event something goes wrong and we won't have a large out-of-pocket expense. I love the fact that they also cover septic and well. I would highly recommend Select Home Warranty to my friends.

I was shopping for a new home warranty plan. Someone recommended to try Select Home Warranty. The agent Sol (he was thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable) answered all my questions (and I had a lot), let us know we were eligible for military discount and gave amazing payment options. Thank you Sol and Select Home Warranty for showing appreciation for military families. It means a lot to us. You just gained a new loyal customer. I will be adding this company to my list of best experiences on social media.

Jeff was very informative and patient with all my questioning. They were also offering great promotions and one of the only companies with a $60 deductible. I'm currently with 2-10 Home Warranty and haven't had any major issues but the renewal premium is more than I would like to pay when considering what they cover. If SHW is as good as the sales department, I know I will be in good hands. I will definitely refer my friends to Select Home Warranty. Thank you!

The people you speak to lie to get you to believe one thing and then deny their lies when you talk to them again. They steal your money. Terrible service. It takes weeks for them to approve a job and even then you have to call and remind them you have a claim with them. They say it’s one service fee to come to your house even if they’re checking 3 different things. Then they check all 3 things THEN tell you it’s actually 3 service fees. They claim they’ll give you a credited service fee for the next time for the “misunderstanding” but you’ll never get that credit. Waste of money. An embarrassment to be associated with this warranty company.

Your salesperson, Abraham **, did a great job in explaining my options. He was pleasant as well. I was not treated well with my last home warranty company so I look forward to working with your firm based on my experience with Abraham. I am hopeful that the coverage we agreed upon and discounts will be reflected in my contract I am about to receive as I discussed with Abraham and that the billing works out as agreed.

Signing up with Select Home Warranty was very simple and easy. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the plans very affordable. They have a lot of plan options and seem to be more affordable than other home warranty companies. They also offer add on options that are still affordable. I only hope the customer service and quality is the same when I have to make a claim. This is definitely a company to consider when looking for a home warranty company.

Seems to be a great deal for a home warranty with a low service fee. I’m trying them out for the first time so hopefully I won’t be disappointed. The sales representative Zachary was very friendly and persuasive!

I have been with Select Warranty since 2016; always excellent with their pricing and coverage on their plans are great. Look forward to staying with them. I was recommended to them by one of my real estate clients who had used them on his transactions and glad he did. Their online ability and excellent service was a key to my comparing them vs. other nationally known plans. Would recommend anyone to look at Select Warranty for their needs.

This company has the best home warranty plans available! The representative that called me was very helpful and not a pushy salesman. I haven't had to place a service call as of yet, therefore, I cannot comment on the customer service of that portion. As far as plan options and pricing, I highly recommend giving them a call. The five year plan is going to work very well for our family, and it can for you too.

I had not received my contract information via email. I originally called a few days after going into contract but did not receive an email with the info I requested. I called back 2 1/2 wks later to request it again but did not receive the email with my contract information. This time the rep told me he just sent it but I didn't receive it. So today Jan 30 after my 3rd attempt, the rep I spoke to made it a point to send me my confirmation email with my contract I went into in early January. I finally received it and we confirmed that my email address was correct the entire time. Hopefully this is the only glitch. I chose Select because of the customer service reviews... I was however able to purchase my home warranty on a 3 pmt plan w/ great coverage and save extra $$. Thank you SHW!

We are a hard working family and wanted extra pretection on our home. This sounded perfect. Our water heater went out... Claim denied. Our washer needed repair... Claim denied. Our heating went out... we were told to pay the $500.00 and we would be reimbursed within 24-48 hours. That was 4 months ago... we have been jacked around and put off. They have taken duplicate payments twice out of our account since trying to get payment. Do not even mess with this company. They are a headache. They hope that if they put you off enough you will disappear.

I called in the problem (Drain Stoppage) and was assigned to a contractor that was not affiliated with Select. He had just applied the prior week. When I called Select, they apologized and said they would reassign. I didn't hear back for 7 days. When I called back, I was told I could find my own plumber and I could be reimbursed. My plumber arrived, and I waited on the phone with Select for over 20 minutes to receive authorization for the service.

We switched to Select Home Warranty and we are so happy to have done it! In this freezing weather, our garage doors stopped working and they approved the claim and sent someone within 24 hours! Just amazing service. It was also so simple to fill out the claim form! We received a call less than 12 hours after first submitting the claim. They were kind and so helpful. I will recommend Select Home Warranty to anyone who needs home warranty.

Spoke with Rep Richard ** who provided courteous and professional service by explaining the services and terms including service deductibles and fees. Reviewed covered items and extent of coverage and appliances covered. I felt comfortable speaking with him and purchasing the home warranty. Finally, he explained my rights such as cancelling the plan and reimbursement procedures. I plan to let my friends and neighbors know about the plan and its benefits. I hope never to use the plan but it is comforting to know my home is covered for repair or replacement. Thank you Select for providing this service!

We called 1/28/19 to open a claim for a non working pool/spa heater. They said we would be contacted within 24 hours. We were not. Called them 11/29/19 to see what's going on. They said our claim had been denied. Asked why? Because when hubby called in he said it was "a heat pump"... which isn't covered. In OUR paperwork, my husband wrote down the claim #, date he called, and "pool heater", NOT HEAT PUMP. I explained my husband isn't a pool repairman and has no idea what's wrong with it.

The service was good in all. Service person was nice, clean and neat at the job and friendly and informative about the oven and checked out the whole stove. Yes we told the service person the rest of the stove is working, she did a thorough job looking the stove top and the boiler thoroughly to work right. That will ensure no more issues at this time and no more to call them back out to redo the work. I still had to wait for the part to be ordered.

In my search to acquiring, my initial customer rep was very helpful, informative, and thoughtful to my needs, which motivated me to sign up with the company. The only negative thing I have to say about my experience was the fact that discounts were not offered or suggested to me during our conversation. Three days later, I referred a friend to discovered he was given a military discount. I called the company back to inquired about the discount and to my surprise, the first customer rep was very rude and not helpful; however, I was transferred to another phone line without heads up but the second customer rep was extremely helpful.

Easy setup and was contacted in minutes by Mark. He answered all my questions. Very professional and helpful. Very good reviews from top accredited websites. Also, their many plans makes it easily affordable per your own budget. Had to replace a A/C unit last year without a warranty and the cost was around seven thousand dollars. So peace of mind for your home is very important. Have shopped other warranty companies and found Select Home Warranty to be the best bet overall. And at the end of my term they contact you to make sure everything is going alright. Not just re up you. Thanks again Select Home Warranty.

I was on the fence about moving forward with the service, I am currently with another company, however, my representative; Fred ** was just what I needed. Fred outlined the benefits and the comparison of what I have now and what I could have making the move. It just made sense. It didn't feel like I was being sold something, but, rather it felt like I was being helped to have better! I tell everyone I know about coverage for their home. I am excited to have this service and to be able to tell my friends.

A scam, please stay away. This company is very dishonest, they will take your money and not fix anything in your house, this is a bad company to do business with. Dont fall for the low price it's a big scam.

Phone reps are very helpful. But, the claim was reimbursed at a low dollar amount. Much lower than needed to get repair done. Disappointing. “Cost of repairs exceeds the current value of your unit”. The two year old double oven/range is worth more than the cost of replacing a fan. I guess the pittance paid out is better than nothing. The reimbursement process is complicated, almost seems like it was intentionally designed to make it difficult to acquire the dollar amount due.

I had a contract with Home Shield warranty for over 10 years and found out that the new customers who sign up were getting better plans than myself. I was paying a service fee of 75.00 each time. So I was happy to speak w/ Allan at Select Home Warranty company who was knowledgeable and very kind. I haven’t used service yet but the customer service rep was helpful and look forward to no problems or issues if I need to use Select Home Warranty.

I just replaced my home warranty using Select Home Warranty. I cannot speak to the actual coverage, as I have not had a claim yet, however the purchase process and the coverage/price that I received were excellent. The agent worked with me to get the best of both possible and even shortened my waiting period from 30 to 20 days (my prior company went out of business without notifying us). All in all Select made the buying experience very good and were very helpful.

The service representative was very fast, friendly, and informative. The monthly price is reasonable. I wish the service charge was free or cheaper. But it was less than your competitor. My hopes if I have to use the service, that I will not be up charged by the service provider.

I have had a few claims and both have went smoothly. I have been pleased and satisfied with the service. I would be inclined to pursue the services of Select Home Warranty in the years to come due to the great service. It was a little disappointing that the email communications were kicked into my junk or spam folder and I was unable to retrieve them. This caused the repair to be postponed until receipt of said communication. However the customer service in the meantime was very good.

We were very satisfied with the service we received when asking questions about a home warranty. They gave us fair pricing and answered all of our questions. Issac was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, very good customer service!!! What impressed me more is that the phone was answered quickly. Usually with AHS it will take forever to get a representative. Waiting to see how the service going to be.... The monthly payments are lower than the one I have with AHS and with 3 years payment ahead of time gave me more discounts. I was able to receive all of the information I needed. The gentleman I talked to was well educated and polite. Being able to get a discount made it easier but having a peace of mind that if anything goes wrong it will be fixed helps me. Hoping I don’t end up needing to use the coverage but if I do I hope the experience goes well. I do feel that the price is well worth it because little things can add up quick.

Called for new contact. Spoke with Jonathan **, he was very professional. We purchased a 3 year contract. We may add spa coverage in the summer. We hope not to use this, but this gives us peace of mind if he have repairs. We have only been in our house 13 months, and our prior warranty had expired last month, we decided to get a new contract that would cover us for multiple years.

It's almost impossible to get paid on a claim. They have jerked me around for months. Rumor is most of the positive reviews from this site are endorsed by Select Home Warranty. Please email me before you waste your money.

Technician was very knowledgeable about his work and was quick in solving the problem with my heater. He arrived on time. He made suggestions in keeping the heater running accurate throughout the winter. Due to the cold weather when I called the office the secretary was kind enough and concern to expedite the call due to no heat in the area of my home. We were using space heaters which was a great concern of overheating. Yes I would highly recommend this company.

The call was super fast. My agent Bruce was wonderful and offered to help with the entire enrollment process. He sent me his direct contact if I had any issues with the plan for my client. I will for sure use Select Home Warranty for all my buyers' needs. I like to give these as closing gifts to special clients that I know really need the extra help to pay for things. It gives buyers a peace of mind to know they have this coverage for at least the first year.

We had an issue with our A/C unit. When we called Select Home Warranty, they were on it right away. Within minutes we had an email indicating that a contractor has been assigned and would be in touch with us. That was exactly as it happened. The person sent out was licensed and knowledgeable about many A/C systems and was able to fix our problem immediately. He explained the various plans, how claims were handled, what items were covered, how payments could be made, when coverage started and ended, how you go about making a claim, how the service technician would be contacted. The coverage is competitive to other home warranty. I have the platium plan and the extra two months and the service charge is a great promotion and the price is unbeatable it is a great deal. Their customer service was knowledgeable in explaining the plan he went through each appliance, electrical, water heater, AC, heating system, plumbing, ceiling fan, and more. Then he sent me my contact and I received it within 10 minutes after he was done talking with me.

We have not used our new home warranty policy yet, as we just purchased it today, but it was the best value for the same coverage that the other major warranty providers offered. I called to verify the service that I signed for and I've gotten contact with your agent Nathan who was very convincing. He was persistent but he got the job done and gave me an extra deal for 3 years on good rate. Appreciate all the help that he gave me. He never took no for an answer and then give me the chance to actually get off the phone until he got the bill through so you did a great job.

I had good service with Kevin. I look forward to receiving my plan via email. He suggested different plans to me until we found one that would fit my needs. In addition since I am living in a new (3 years old) townhouse and just turned 89 years old I was leery about going out too far with the plan but Kevin explained to me that the Select Home Warranty was transferable to anyone who buys my townhouse.

I called the plumbing problem in on a Sunday so it took a couple days to get assigned a company. The company came out and did a thorough job in evaluating and fixing the problem. It took a few days to get them out here but we told them our situation wasn't an emergency therefore they handled other needs before ours. The serviceman was friendly, professional, and on time. We are glad we have this coverage. Money well spent.

Extremely pleased with the ease of applying, originally I started the process online but ended up calling in because I had a question on the per incident deductible. Great service, quick and easy, was offered an additional promo 3 year promo that I would have loved to take advantage but was too costly upfront. I definitely recommend to homebuyers out there, great service thus far. It was not a pushy or sales like experience like all.

I was with another company, prior to signing up with this company/Select Home Warranty. The Salesperson was very informative and accommodating to my request. I haven't needed any claims as of yet, but my experience with signing up was very good. He went above and beyond to explain in detail what type of coverage I would be getting. So far all is good. Bruce was very helpful and gave me many contract options. Though attractive for longer term coverage, we opted for what we thought was affordable to us at this time. We will go thru our one year contract and see how Select works for us and revisit next year. Bruce was great to work with and at the moment I am pleased with my decision to be with Select.

The person I spoke to was very efficient and pleasant to talk to. He answered all my questions. He explained everything I needed to know about price, what was covered and the up front cost if I ever have a claim. I didn't expect the call so quickly (as it was a Sunday), but, it was handled all in the same day. I thought it was $450.00 for just signing up, but, he told me that was if I done the up front payment and not the monthly payment. He saved me $50.00 and 2 free months of service. I wish everyone went above and beyond like this person. Most people would have just charged the $500.00 and been done with it.

Nathan from Select warranty was very helpful in giving information. The only thing I’m frustrated about is that he told me that when I call a technician it will be $60 but when I called to schedule a technician, it turned out I have to pay $75. Also, it’s annoying that the first month I pay I can’t call a technician if there’s an issue. I have to wait until the first month is over even though I’ve paid.

The Customer Service representative department called me before I was able to get off of their website. They were very fast, efficient, very polite and very helpful. They were also Extremely knowledgeable about their products and their discounts. This made me feel confident with their business. The salesman I spoke to seemed well trained and also new about different discounts. He seemed honest and had my best interest in mind. I will recommend Select to a friend. I looked your product up online yesterday Sunday and was in contact with your team imminently. I did not care to be contacted on a Sunday but that is sales. I guess after not answering calls on a Sunday I was contacted first thing Monday morning and ended up buying your platinum product.

My agent was awesome!!! There was no pressure from him to start my policy. He answered each and every question I had. After signing me up as a new customer, I hung up my phone. feeling like I was a winner. I received my policy documents via email shortly after the call. I read over it. It was exactly as he said it would be. No scamming, lying or cheating. Thank you so much.

Put in a claim for a clogged main drain. It has been six days and SEVERAL phone calls and have still not had a contractor assigned. Customer service was a joke. They read from a script. I asked to speak with a manager or higher and they would not let me. Called to cancel the policy and that rep also read from a script and said her manager would tell me the same thing. To add insult to injury they are charging me a $75.00 cancellation fee. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

This warranty company has been a joke since the beginning. My pool pump went out 2 months after I purchased this warranty and they came up with some ** reason why they wouldn't cover it. Now my ice maker went out and they won't cover installation... Really??? Save your money, chances are you won't spent $500 a year on repairs. Put that money aside every year so when you do have problems you don't have to deal with these **.

They will not or did not for me tell me that they will not just pay for approved repairs. You must pay for it yourself and then apply for a refund. This was not made clear to me and given my experience with other home warranties was not expecting it. All others paid the service person directly. Horrible customer service and shady sales.

I put in a claim for microwave that is broke- denied claim, AC does not work - they do not cover coil repair - denied claim, Fridge- leaking water, line is broke- denied claim, washer machine tub is broke- denied claim they don't replace the tub, garbage disposal said they would reimburse only 75 for a new one which I bought, they do not cover install cost 100$, sent in receipt 4 weeks ago. Called the other day for an update. Kept me on hold for 20 mins, said I needed to fill out a form which is BS, never said anything about this form in the original e-mail stating the 75 reimbursement. Still no check asked to speak to a supervisor. They said the supervisor comes in at 11:30 am, also the contractors they sent out are all scam artists, read the reviews on the companies they use. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. ALL THOSE REVIEWS ARE COMPLETE BS. TRUST ME. THEY SHOULD BE SUED AND PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

Isaac ** was great to work with today. He offered what I feel was a great deal for three and half years that gave me peace of mind for future repairs and locked in the rate for my future renewals. He also added six months, roof leak coverage and advised how I could lower the service call fee. I would highly recommend contacting this company for a quote. I believe they could save you money but most of all peace of mind for any expensive repair costs.

I have had a very pleasant experience. My husband is military and I can't always take care of the house with him gone, they make it so easy to get someone out here to help. Plus the deductible is amazing. Plus I didn't need to go into an office to set up, I just gave a call and I was taken care of! I have renewed twice and it took maybe 5 mins! I would recommend to anyone! I have only had a few things to call about but they always send a decent contractor.

My salesperson was Kevin ** and he was very helpful in getting me the plan I needed at the best price and deal available. He went over all of the options and was able to help me with pricing that fit my needs. He was also very patient because my wife was not at home at the time and I had to call her on another phone to be sure we were both comfortable with the plan and Kevin did not mind at all.

Furnace went out, called Select Home Warranty, was on hold for 30 mins, spoke to rep. They immediately found a maintenance comp. Maintenance diagnosis problem. Submitted problem to company. Was initially disappointed because it would take 24 to 48 hrs for approval to fix but since it was the weekend it actually took 4 days. I had to submit pictures and maintenance records. Eventually it was approved and I was very happy. What I missed on the contract was the fine print in section 9 that talked about maintaining maintenance and cleaning records. I never keep those records but will make sure that I will from now on. Thank you Select Home Warranty.

Broken garbage disposal. 2nd time I've used my policy. I prefer this method than to waiting for weeks for a tech. that never shows up reschedules still doesn't show I waited months last time. This I can handle. Thank you, I count on this when something breaks. I expect a qualified person to show up when scheduled the matter to be handled efficiently. I'm still waiting for my reimbursement on my refridge. Getting close to a year now since it broke. Wonder how long before I get this reimbursement.

When I got the phone call from William, I wasn't even entertaining the idea of buying a home insurance. He went through all the coverage with me in detail, even searching for deals. I just purchased this policy this evening so I do not have much to say for my experience yet. It was Easy to set up policy, emailed the documents almost instantly and the rates were a lot less than what I am currently paying with another company. I hope the coverage will be similar to what I currently have. Read online and there were several positive reviews. Agent gave me incentive to purchase at that time to save even more money over the next year or two.

Rep was super helpful and answered all of my questions. I wanted to give my payment info to a real person. I would like to have known that you will withdraw the payment every month before I purchased. Otherwise I feel like I bought a really good policy. Never have I experienced such a scam. I bought this warranty due to the extensive coverage and (somehow) because they were noted as best in service. They told me my water tank would be covered. I experienced a huge leak and my policy states they cover parts and components that contribute to the function of the unit. They told me that because it is leaking it wouldn’t be covered. Seems a bit contradictory to me.

Got a call within ten minutes. Fred was helpful in telling me about your product as I was having trouble with our current one. So switched!!! Hope your service is great and the cost was way lower. We decided to purchase a year of the top tier to offer as an extra incentive when selling our house. Everything in the house seems to be covered! The new home owners/buyers should feel like they are in good hands! We were impressed with the Customer Service department. Customer Service was on top of things! We literally got a call within minutes to help us figure things out, as well as go over any incentives we might've missed.

They had a lot of options to offer for extended coverages and to lock in better rates. It's just hard to commit to long term without having to experience the services or to see the services in action when called upon. So we'll see how the next 14 months go.

Chase ** was very understanding and professional to convince me that a home warranty is what I should get. He was especially helpful in setting up my payment online vice over the phone. Without his help I most likely would not have attempted to get coverage. This is my first time getting coverage and I've heard bad stories but so far my experience dealing with Chase was very good. I was offered a three year plan for a reduced amount by Chase as well but I think I will try the one year first before changing or thinking about the extended plan.

Just 2 days ago, I gave SHW raving reviews, until today, when I was denied a claim on our hot water heater. We closed on our home 11/5/18. The house was not brand new. When I bought this warranty, the salesman assured me all components would be covered. That was very misleading. The plumber they sent out on 01/21/19 said that the hot water heater coils were corroded and would need to be replaced. The claim was sent in to Select Home Warranty. I got an email from them yesterday 01/23/19 denying the claim, much to my surprise. Now remember we just closed on our house on 11/5/18 and moved into the house on 11/12/18 just a little over 2 months when the hot water heater started having problems.

Richard ** customer service is second to none. I originally called into the company seeking a free quote and I was greeted by a very rude and abrasive individual. That individual left with me a sour taste in my mouth but something told me to call back and that is when I got Richard. He went over policy information, coverages and the service call fee. He explained everything throughly to ensure I made an informed decision. Richard is a great asset to this company and if it wasn't got him I would have not bought a policy. He should be commended.

Good Morning! I was the first to reach out regarding the claim of having no heat but I never received a response. Then, I had my mother, Charlotte ** reach out who, while on the phone, filled out the proper information regarding the claim was instructed on what to do and that the claim would get paid out. She called to follow up only to be informed that a claim never came through and she had to fill out/submit all the information over again via online. So, for a first time experience it was not good. We called a repair person due to it being Christmas Eve and the house was below 50 degrees in the house, it was freezing.

Salesman was very nice to talk to. Double checked to make sure that all of the information was correct. Did a great job finding the exact plan that I wanted and giving me the best price. He went over what I was getting and what I could upgrade to. He did not try and push extras on me when I said no but wanted me to understand the extra benefits. I would recommend this salesperson to anyone else trying to find a home warranty.

The plan I was looking at didn't have everything I was looking for online but they added it over the phone. The phone call was very informative. The information we received on the phone was very helpful, gave us many options for payments, we were happy to just pay yearly. However, we were suppose to receive an email receipt for our Visa card payment. As of today, we have not received it. Also, our warranty expired in May 2018 and we just notified in January, 2019. Maybe we should have been on top of our expiration date. How do you notify us of our upcoming expiration.

Great service, I am so happy to have working heat again! Service technician called and scheduled to come out within 12 hours. Pretty simple fix that could have been expensive without my warranty. I am grateful for Select! My heat was not working and the technician came out and only had to sand down the element and screw it back in, once he did that and fired the system back up the heat immediately came on and warmed the house. Technician stated that this does not happen often but when it does it is easy to fix.

The salesperson I spoke with was helpful in getting started and made me aware of a senior discount I was eligible for, which I greatly appreciate. I don't yet have an opinion on service because I haven't used them yet.

It is good that they cover mobile homes. Signing up was easy and I like the monthly payment option. I also like that the amount for them to come out is not that bad either.

Daniel ** was the agent I spoke with on 12/20. Not at all pushy like agents from other companies I called. He also told me that the pool add on option included the spa IF they used common equipment, saving me some money. He offered this info even though I initially wanted to purchase Spa coverage. The Select Home Warranty Rep that I talked to was very straightforward about pricing, options and services (if a little bit pushy). He made the whole process fairly easy and painless, and Select Home was cheaper than the other alternatives I considered (at least after you ask for discounts beyond what is on the website). Hopefully I won't need the service (so I can't comment on the actual service itself) but I'm glad to have it if I do.

I went online to check out Select Home Warranty coverage plans. I had barely looked around the site and received a phone call from one of their sales representatives offering me a better plan with a better discount and a lower service or trip fee than was posted on the site. I was impressed that they cover roof leaks as well as my free standing freezer, as most other warranty companies exclude both those items. I was happy to learn that I could purchase multiple years coverage and save even more and lock in my service or trip fee as well. Hoping I won't have to use the coverage but so glad I have it in case something unexpected happens. We are purchasing a home previously lived in and you just never know how other people maintain their appliances and systems. Very happy with the coverage they offer at an affordable price with the locked in savings for multiple years.

When you call and chat with customer service in my honest opinion they go above and beyond in trying to assist you when you have concerns about anything that pertains to your home warranty. They go out of their way to make sure you get someone out to take care of any problems with anything that you have covered through them. If you have problems with a technician they will rectify the problem in the fastest way possible.

Originally, I signed up for 1 year. Based on the satisfactory service and the promotional rates, I decided to continue stay with Select Home. The renewal process was easy, and the service rep was helpful. During the first year, I had one service call and that was treated very well by the company. We requested them to send a technician and they did a perfect job. No pain finding a technician or ordering parts, only the co-pay was from my pocket.

Agent representing Select Home Warranty was very helpful with all of my questions and how this warranty worked. Sent via email during our phone call all needed website links so I could also see in writing what he was telling about this warranty. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I compared several different companies and spoke to several agents, with this agent being the easiest to talk to, understand, and follow during our discussions. Plan coverage was exactly what I was looking for with a reasonable service fee.

When I start to search a home warranty service to defend against sudden breakdowns, I notice your company may provide with good plans. I made a quote online and soon got a call from David **. David is helpful and professional. He gave me a lot of information about the coverage and fees. He also provides me a selection of plans with different terms and cost and explained to me with details. I am very satisfied with his service and very happy to choose your system and appliance platinum plan for 3 and half years.

I signed up over the phone with Daniel. I received a $150 promotion for the platinum plan with a reduced service fee for contractors from $75 to $60. I purchased this plan because of the good reviews and look forward to working with them. I hope to be able to come back here and leave a good report if/when we have had need of their services. I live in an old home in Arizona with an old air conditioner and we were worried that without a home warranty we would not be able to cover the cost of a new unit if/when that is ever needed. A/C in Arizona is a necessity.

The yearly low payment was made by credit card simple and easy.

I am happy with the price and service that was offered but your salespeople really need to calm down. Even after told him it was a great price and we would use you he was still trying to "close the sale." All I needed to do was speak with my wife to confirm the purchase. (I'm not going to go around spending that type of money without confirming it's something that we both want to go forward with.) This is the worst company you can ever contract as a home warranty. First, they take forever to get a technician as nobody want to work for them. So, because nobody wants to work for them, they tell you to hire your one technician and they will be refund you later on. FALSE, DECEIVE. There always have an excuse for the delay getting your money back or worst, they denied the your claim.

I recently started using SHW and have been much happier with them than with another home warranty company I used in the past. Although I have had multiple problems submitting claims online (they said their system is being updated but I had the same problem with my claim not showing up on their end), despite giving me a confirmation on mine, both in November and in January. That said, calling in a claim is a fairly quick and simple process. I also like that SHW gives me the option of choosing my own repair person or using one of theirs. Overall I am happy with my decision to work with SHW. If their online system functioned properly I wouldn't hesitate to give them five stars.

I filed a claim for roof repair. They refereed two company. No one turned up. I contacted the roof repair company. They informed me that Select Home Warranty does not pay them. When I informed Select Home Warranty that the roof repair company did not show up they asked me to get my own technician to get the quote to repair the roof. I did get the quote and sent it to them. They showed the small print that they don't cover the repair. Before you fall for the Select Home Warranty offers like less deductible and two month free when you buy for a year, please read the small print. They have lot of clause how not to cover the breakdown.

Today I had the pleasure to work with Richard to get information on obtaining a home warranty. The service was awesome — I dialed not one phone number number and the call was answered. Richard was excellent, answered all my questions and, in fact, provided ideas that I had not thought about. His professionalism was best in class and within minutes I had a home warranty policy and then received all details moments later. After calls not several other companies and getting transferred many times, only to get voice mail. I was thrilled the moment I called Select Home Warranty.

Updated on 01/30/2019: I signed up on Dec 16, my contract states 37.50 monthly premium. They deducted in advance first month premium from my CC on Dec. 16, then the made two more deductions on Jan. 14 & Jan. 16. I called to ask why two charges in Jan, they never replied.

The person I talked to was very helpful regarding my question about service. I wasn't sure if a leaking faucet was included in the services or not, but she said she would submit the claim and I would hear back soon, which I did. Unfortunately, a leaky sink is not covered. So darn, guess my husband has to take this on. I did appreciate hearing about the added service option and the extra month of coverage.

Well I was informed via email that didn't have a fixture plan option on my home warranty, so they were unable to assist me on my claim (leaking bathroom faucets). The email also told me that I can add it to my warranty for additional $50. So almost $100 a month to cover which at this time isn't feasible due to financial situation. I will certainly be looking up and comparing Select Home prices versus others and what exactly is covered plus the discounts given.

I purchased the warranty in August when I bought the home over the phone with their representative. My A/C went out in January and they sent the repair company who determined the unit needed to be replaced. The bill would be around $3500. I never heard back from Select Warranty until I called and they said since I had no maintenance records from the previous owner who is dead they would only pay $150. FRAUD AT ITS BEST, WHAT A RIPOFF.

I had just seen a report about home warranties and was reading all about them when William from Select Home Warranty called. Select was one of the top 3 companies so I was interested in what William had to say. When I asked a question William knew all the answers. He was a knowledgeable employee. Since we just purchased a home with appliances included I had a peace of mind knowing that these appliances would be covered. Value and peace of mind is why I purchase our policy and will recommend it to others.

Their incentives for free months and money off are very good, best I have seen and I have been looking for a good while now. The cost of service call is less than just calling a company on the make of your appliances. I would recommend to everyone renting or owning. My policy number is **. What a joke this company is. I strongly suggest you use American Home Warranty that will repair your items instead of giving you the runaround. At cancellation, they kept all but 50 dollars of my policy. They refused to fix the garbage disposal. Total garbage of a company and a total joke. They will not make things right and will remind you of the fine print when you need your garbage disposal worked on.

I wish there were some more detailed information on the website, like service call fees and which discounts you get with paying for 12 months up front or just monthly. Mark at extension ** wasn't very pleasant. I call and got him first for some general questions and there was a lack of customer service. I really don't have more to say since I just signed up. I really hope this company is great and if so I will recommend it to others.
