I called SHW as directed by the website. The man who answered my call was direct and to the point. I asked questions because I have never had a home warranty on any property I have ever owned. I just asked basic questions and he answered my questions but that's it. He really didn't provide any additional information. Definitely wasn't a salesman, so no pushy sales. I asked if I paid monthly and then decided to pay annually how much it would cost. He stated $525/yr., however when I received the contract it states $600/yr. So, that's not a savings at all. All in all he answered my elementary questions because I didn't know what to ask about the service. He was polite, spoke English, and knew how to process my payment....so there's that. I honestly had never checked into a home warranty before, or called another company, so I hope it was a good decision.

Mr ** was very helpful explaining the various plans and durations of each along with the costs. He answered all my questions. I was hesitant at first but after being offered various different options I decided to go with Select Home Warranty. The salesman also told me about various potential discount plans that I was qualified for. Each one had its merits and I ultimately decided to go with a plan that worked best for my needs. I received a confirmation email from Mr ** and then was asked to fill out a review about how I was treated. I received further emails directing me to open up my account on Select Home Warranty's web page and upon doing that I was able to access my warranty documents and download them to my computer. All in all, a very straightforward transaction.

I recently contacted Select Home Warranty, and the experience stood out immediately. Their phone representatives were genuinely courteous, patient, and professional, which is something I rarely experience with other warranty providers. From the moment the call began, the agent took the time to listen, explain coverage clearly, and make sure every question was answered without rushing or transferring me around.

I've been with another home warranty for the past year and I just don't feel comfortable with them. So I decided to Google other places and Select Home Warranty fit my needs and my budget. The sales person I spoke to was Jake. I found him to be very friendly, personable, and easy to talk to. He told me my options, suggested a couple of plans but he wasn't pushy. I could pay for 3-5 years and not have to worry for a while or I could pay monthly. He gave me his direct number in case I had any questions. It was a good experience overall. Yes, they have some 1 star reviews but mostly 5 stars. There are going to be people that you just can't please no matter what you do. It happens with every business.

Connor did a great job ensuring that all my questions were answered and that I fully understand the coverage. He also made certain that I received the best price for the coverage and that everything in my home was including in the policy including both HVAC systems. The only thing that I felt should have been included in the policy was the preventive maintenance for the HVAC systems. This is the only area that should be included in the coverage. Lastly, the warranty does not cover whole house fans or sewage lift stations that are part of many homes in my area and are a standard part of the home plumbing system. I highly recommend Connor and Select Home Warranty as they cover more than other warranty companies and at one of the best prices per month that I have found. They also lock their price and service fees for the life of the warranty something other companies will never match.

Select Home Warranty is the worst home warranty company today. The people handles claims reside overseas, hard to communicate, do not listen, bad manner, and don't have a sense of legal responsibilities per the written policy. They create all kinds of excuses not even mentioned or listed on the policy to deny. Their jobs is to pay unreasonable minimum or totally deny. If we cannot stop this kind of business operation, stay away from it.

I spoke with rep ED. I explained I was looking for a new plan. He explained everything to me and helped me with my plan. He made it easy. I had intended to call for a quote from AHS, but since Ed took care of me I decided to go with SELECT HOME Warranty.

I was not initially unimpressed with my first call. The representative made matter-of-fact recommendations for my coverage. After reviewing the information provided, I was able to make an informed decision that feels comfortable.

Select Home Warranty - very well rated company, excellent customer service and pleasant representatives to speak with. Have not filed a claim yet but expect the process to be smooth and without issues.

I have been using another warranty company for a very long time and wanted to make a change just to see what was different. I went with Select Home Warranty. They gave me a better rate compared to the previous warranty company for the same duration. Plus the trip fee was lower than the previous company as well. The enrollment process was simple and SAM the enrollment specialist provided me all the answers patiently and did not push me to sign up. I'm quite happy thus far. Now look forward to experience the actual service and will update or provide another feedback at that point.
