I purchased their home warranty protection. I added on my Geothermal Heating and cooling. When the system stopped working, they sent out a technician. The technician told me once he arrived that Select Home Warranty will not pay to fix anything, but diagnosed the issue. We contacted Select Home Warranty and they denied it because it's a Geothermal System, they do not cover those even though the Policy clearly stated Geothermal in the add on, but they still will not cover it. So we agreed to cancel the policy. However 2 months later they still have not refunded our money and they keep telling us the check should be here in 2 or 3 days. Now we are in the process of taking them to court. We attempted to have them fix others things that were denied as well. If you feel you need a home warranty I would suggest using someone else.

I haven’t used the coverage yet but customer service was extremely helpful and efficient with getting me the coverage that we needed for our home. So we are hoping once we do file a claim any future correspondences will be handled just as professional, efficient and seamless. We have had other warranties in the past and have not been happy with the companies. So we will see what happens. It’s hard to have much more to write about since we haven’t submitted a claim yet. But the coverage and price seemed like a good value to us.

I bought home appliance insurance through Select Home Warranty over 4 months ago. Dryer broke down 2 months ago, and that’s when the problem started happening. Called Customer Service, they didn’t have any engineers to come out. Asked me to sort out my own. All engineers I called refused to work with the company. Then I called them back, asked for an engineer. 5 weeks wait, guy turns up, takes my money, and says he will send the diagnosis through to Select Home Warranty. Nothing happens.
I call back for total 2 months to Select Home Warranty who claim they will escalate to sort this out. Nothing happens. I ask to escalate to the supervisor. Supervisor says they can’t do anything about it, even though it’s their recommended engineer. Go online- find out someone wrote he turns up to jobs drugged up. Insurance contract cost me 1000 USD, no service, and still trying to get my dryer fixed. Will be asking for a refund. Terrible customer service, company doesn’t care about customers. Were quick to sell me the package but have delivered nothing since. I feel robbed and cheated. Never again.

Look no further if you need a new home warranty or need to renew yours. SELECT Home Warranty is for you, especially if you work with Brad **! I mentioned that other home warranties had lower service charges and he lowered their fees. I told him I was a veteran, and I got a military discount. You can pay month-by-month, but I paid for a full year and got two extra months for free! And I was able to lock in my current costs for future years as well. No increase in plan cost or service fee cost.
Brad gave me every discount available. With all the other discounts, I still got a 4th of July discount! And if I decide I don't like SELECT Home Warranty, I can get a pro-rated refund back. I could have paid month-by-month, but getting extra months for free is awesome. And Brad said if you contact him and mention my review, he'll give you the same two months free. Brad is Wonderful to work with. And SELECT Home Warranty is rated 4.5 stars by Consumer Reviews. Give Brad a call.

If anyone is in need of a home warranty company, I do NOT recommend HMS Home Warranty! We have been without AC for three consecutive summers. During the 2.5 years that we've been in our home, HMS has sent multiple repair persons to our home. One company replaced the AC unit with a brand new one and still we have not had any relief. A month ago the last repair company was sent and determined that a hose was installed incorrectly then advised us that HMS would contact us. Needless to say HMS had NOT contacted us so we contacted them. My husband was told that a supervisor would call and no one had. For some odd reason each time we had requested a supervisor there were never any available, but one would call us back.
I called after not hearing from anyone and was told there was no record of anyone calling us, but was assured that a request for a supervisor has now been input and we'd receive a call. Two weeks later, still no call, I called again and was told that the case was close and they do not cover improper installs. Well, considering the improper install was done during one of the multiple visits from a company that HMS had sent to our home, one would think that this is covered. I, again, asked for a supervisor and was put on a five minute hold only to be told that there was none available and I'd later receive a call. No one called and my husband had written a negative review on a home warranty website. He received a reply to his review informing him that someone would contact him. He did receive a phone call on 6/22/18 and during the call he was told that customer relations would look into the issue and send an email.
In less than 30 (at 5:06 pm) minutes I had received an email letting me know that the company is no longer an approved provider and I was given their contact information to call myself. I had been informed during one of our many calls that this provider is no longer approved because I had requested them for one of the many visits. As advised in the email, I called the provider and they informed me that they no longer work for the warranty company because "it's not worth it." I replied to the email on 6/22/18 at 7:15 pm, however, I have yet to receive a reply. This is ridiculous considering the premium is deducted from my account on a monthly basis with no lapse or delay and that we have paid multiple deductibles for the unsuccessful visits to our home. I am highly displeased with the customer service and lack of concern from this company.

The customer service writer did a good job. He was fair and was very customer friendly. He reviewed our individual needs with great competency. That made me and my wife feel very comfortable about renewing our policy coverage with Select Home Warranty. I hope that future service, IF I EVER NEED TO REQUEST COVERAGE, will be handle the way I was treated renewing my contract. I would recommend Select Home Warranty.to my friends and to others who need home warranty services.

I bought Select Home Warranty at 05/13/2018 over the phone with a recommendation and referral of two friends who also have the Select Home Warranty. So I bought the warranty with 41.68 monthly and 45.00 each/single technician visit and no annual/yearly contract and no cancellation fees. Before I bought the contract I went thru every single details line by line, phrase by phrase with Select rep. more than 20 times which takes more than a week.
Finally I bought and ask them to send me the written contract in my email, they never did, then after few days bought the contract I called again Select and talked to rep. who assured me everything I mentioned is right and my contract is exactly same what I bought. But I placed a service request last Monday 06/25/2018 and the next day Tuesday 06/26/2018, the technician came to visit and diagnose the problem and fixed it but they declined to bear the repair cost saying Freon gas leak is not covered under my contract which is also fraud /false 'cause I asked them about it before I bought the warranty, they said it's covered.
Not only that. They put my service address info totally wrong. I have a townhouse. They put single family house, it's less than 2500 sq ft. They put 5000 sq ft. Not only that. Last 3 days I called them more than 5 times, spoke to them tell them whats happening! Either they hang up or they put me on hold for more than couple hours until my phone died or they said the same thing like a robot or they told me a supervisor will call me within an hour, but never happened. Same thing again and again. So I called police in my area, filed a police report, filed a report against this company in consumer affairs dept in my county, and also wrote a review in Google review, and wait few more days after I write this review on company website, see if they take some positive action, if not then I plan to moving forward sue them in the court.
It's not about the money. This kinda con company fraud millions of people scamming multi million dollars. Some legal authority needs to stop them. These should have some legal consequences. People dont try to stop them 'cause in U.S. nobody has time to go after them 'cause it doesn't worth it and they are taking the advantages of people's weakness and abusing the loopholes of law and cheating millions of people stealing millions of dollars which is people's money. Please don't buy their warranty. Anything go over couple hundred dollars they going to tell you it doesn't cover under the contract! Which contract you never gonna see the written contract after you buy the warranty! Trust me you only see them after you ripped off by this scumbag. They put a customer service in some foreign country with their weirdo English, can't even speak. Nothing going to resolve, nothing going to taken care of. They totally flip my entire warranty.

I have been in correspondence with Zachary and he has been very helpful and has great customer service skills. I am thrilled he reduced the service fee to $45.00. He matched Choice Warranty service fee. I am very pleased that I have researched this thoroughly and made the choice to do business with Select Home Warranty. The gentleman was very friendly and informative on how he could save me money. He offered me different alternatives for making payments sooner rather than on a monthly payment plan. This would give me the opportunity to get an additional 2 months of coverage. Thanks for your help. This would have been nice to know when I was applying on the computer because I would have done it then and saved us both the time it took to do it on the phone.

Jonelle has been top notch with helping to get our roof leak repaired. Although she was not able to locate help at the time, she offered us alternate means, directing us how to proceed with work is we ourselves located our own contractor, which we did. We are in the process now and still working on approval of the claim. Thank you for your concern and help. We appreciate your quick response and friendly interaction.

I purchased a 2.5 yr old home and when my AC quit functioning Select Home Warranty sent an HVAC repairman who came to the door without any business card. It took 4 phone calls to get verification that this was who SHW indeed sent; I was told by the person they sent that my unit had gone bad & there was risk of carbon monoxide (I know nothing about HVACs & it was 90 degrees; I now know that CO is NOT a risk with AC).
Again, unable to get validation from SHW that what I was being told was true (the repairman said HE had received the clearance to replace the unit even though it clearly states in the warranty that that is not how the process works. Yet no one from SHW could understand what it was I was needing verification on as most are out of the country... One call back was from Cambodia!! It's nearly impossible to explain HVAC issues to people for who English is just barely a second language. I'm not sure I understand how HVACs work when using the English language! So, new and incorrect claims tickets were also issued). Long, long story short, I experienced poor communication, rude staff, and I was lied to and bilked out of several thousand dollars because SHW refused to cover their mistake.
Today I discovered the guy they sent does not even have a license of any kind! He had never been appropriately vetted! He had no verifiable training & yet I was told that all their service connections are "reputable". The new unit is not functioning either. Today, finally someone returned my call and told me they would send someone of MY choice ASAP. No one has called to schedule an appointment. It is now nearly 4 weeks of this mess plus lost money.
I would like to have one of the news stations (local or national) investigate Home Warranty companies and will pursue that avenue, plus, after talking to the Virginia Professional & Occupational licensing Board, they encouraged me to file a complaint in order for the state to do an investigation. I'm not waiting another 24 hours for someone to come take care of my AC. Tomorrow I will be filing with the state and I encourage anyone else with issues to take it to the next level so that others will not fall into this trap. Save yourself the money and stress and do not use this company.

Abraham ** was very resourceful without being pushy at any time. He guided me through the plan options until we found one that best suits my budget and needs. I am looking forward to the service he talked so well about. I shopped several companies after my current warranty renewal cost went way up. I was thrilled to find Select Home had a better rating than my current company and a better plan.

Belinda was fun to talk to although she seemed overwhelmed by a lot of calls today. However, she was more enthused than other people I talked to earlier before her. I think I was never asked when my new home closing was so I had to ask my husband to call her to confirm since I was busy at a work event. At the end I think my husband and her were able to sort things out.

I am an agent who buys policies for my clients at closing. No long wait times for customer service. Many items are covered that competitors don't for the price. The pricing is very good. Also you get 14 months instead of 12 months for the policy. Easy to get set up. Pricing is better than the competition. I would certainly use Select Home Warranty again. I highly recommend this company for your home warranty. One should never be without one.

So, originally I was only going to get a year long policy but after hearing about the additional benefits of a 3-year policy, I made the switch. Now my service fee is $15 less, I get extra months added to the policy and the yearly fee will be the same upon renewal. The customer service was good, knowledgeable and willing to help me find the policy that meets our needs. We have been looking at other home warranty products but Select Home Warranty seems to have the best overall options that fit our needs.

The young man that helped me with my home warranty was very helpful and courteous and I thank him for his input. I added a few things on to the coverage that I needed that wasn't in the basic coverage so again thank you for your help. I had coverage with a different company before that to get the same amount of items covered would cost me $83 a month plus $100 a service call which is a lot more than what I'm paying with you.

I had an overall good experience with Select Home Warranty and their customer service department as well as their sales department. I was pleased with the renewal process, the price was fair as well as the service call fee. I would recommend their services to anyone interested in getting a new home warranty. I compared their coverages with several other home warranty companies and Select Home Warranty offered more coverage than most all other home warranty companies.

Was easy to purchase the home warranty and seems like a good value - if I need to use it. I haven't researched other companies so not exactly sure if the price is competitive. I did look at reviews online while on the phone with the representative and was pleased with what I read. Three years should be enough to really get a feel for your company. The rep's name was Bruce ** and I didn't feel pressured at all to buy - just gave good information.

Brad was extremely helpful and personable. He explained all options clearly and was patient with me as I made sure I understood the various plan financial/payment options. I especially appreciate the fact that he was not “pushy.“ Thanks Brad! He also asked if I was 50 years old or over or had lived in my current residential over 2 years. The representative that I talked to explained the warranty policy very thoroughly and very clearly. He answered all the questions that I had. He brought up other issues that I had not thought of. He spoke clear English that was easy to understand. I was able to sign up and get a discount immediately. I received my policy quickly in an email the same day. I called in reference to a new policy I had applied for online. The operator was able to find my policy and then went on to ask me a few questions as to the coverage I purchased and what was also available that I was unaware of. I was explained the different year terms I could get with excellent savings. I was very happy with the operator and his knowledge of the plans and the time he took to offer them to me. I was very happy with the options available and the money savings to me with the extended plans available.

I Decided to move to Select Home Warranty from your major competitor (American Home Shield) because of the price difference. Coverage seems to be the same with a lower service fee and the price is much lower than what was quoted for this year you AHS. My continued affiliation with Select Home Warranty will depend upon the price structure and the services offered at renewal time.

I just signed up, so I have not had to the opportunity/need to use the policy yet. I spoke with Brad in customer service, and he really took the time to explain the plan and answer my questions about policy limits and documentation of service over the previous three years. He offered options for longer term agreements, and the pricing was excellent. I hope the service is excellent too, should I happen to need it!

I haven't used the service yet, but I cannot argue with the price I got for 2 years of service. Almost half off the other top companies, yet it still covers basically the same thing. I had the pleasure to speak with Dominic on 6-27-18. I explained the issues I had and he was able to address the problem with great detail and follow up, to my satisfaction. Dominic is a great example of how a CSR should be; professional, knowledgeable and courteous. However, I called on 6-6-18 and talked to a foreign speaking CSR who was very difficult to understand. The assigned job #**. I had to explain the leak I had, in my house, to him several times because he didn’t understand. Finally, I asked to speak to a supervisor (who spoke better English) and was assigned a local plumber who no longer worked with you! I then called a local plumber, at my expense, to assess the leak. I called back on 6-27-18 and had the pleasure of speaking with Dominic, to find out what my next steps will be regarding the repairs of the leak. I hope Dominic will be recognized for his outstanding example as a Customer Service Representative.

Isaac was very helpful with renewing my policy agreement with Select Home Warranty. The payment is fair and the service call fee is much lower than most warranty co. Hope I don't need to use it but nice to know you have it when and if you have a breakdown. You be glad that you renewed your agreement or you would pay big out not just 45.00 not much at all in this day.

I did a lot of looking, calculating and reading reviews on different home warranty programs. Select offered the best coverage for the best price. I was happy to purchase the warranty. The only thing I didn't care for was the salesman I spoke to the following day. He was calling with a few different options to extend my coverage and was pushy to the point I felt I was being shamed for not wanting to pay for 2 more years in advance.

Brad was very helpful and very professional. He seemed to go the extra mile for getting me the best possible deal. He explained all options available to me. One of the things that I pay attention to is how quickly the response time is. Brad called me within 5 mins of me sending my quote request. That is awesome. Brad was not pushy at all which is very important to me. He understood my budget and was willing to work with it. We signed up for our very first home warranty with Zachary and he was so helpful and so wonderful at explaining how everything works and got us a super low rate that we got to lock in for 3 years! He was patient with all of our questions and while we discussed how long we wanted to lock in our rate for. He also was so friendly and willing to go over the terms and agreements with us. So far we are very happy with our service at Select Home Warranty and are excited and feel at ease knowing they have our back!

Over the past few months I have been a customer of Select Home Warranty. My first complaint is that when I was sold this home warranty, it was an ideal safety net to have as a homeowner. However, my first encounter with this company is that I have requested a copy of the contract on numerous occasions. I was told that this company sends contracts via email. When I contacted the company I was told this several times. I was told to check my spam mail. I checked my spam and junk mail, yet there was no record of a contract being forwarded to my email. This went on for a couple of months, finally I spoke to someone in customer service, who assured me that he would send via email and via U.S. mail.
I finally received a copy of the warranty, everything I read seemed to be comparable for a home warranty. However, my second encounter occurred as a result of my washer was chronically filling up with water, even when the washer was unplugged. I contacted Select Home Warranty, a technician was sent out to my home to diagnose issue as a faulty water valve. Per the first technician he took my check and cashed it on the way home. Per the technician, he would call when the part came in. The technician contacted me to the night before, to schedule a date and time that he would be out to replace part. The day of the appointed time, the technician was a "no show".
I contacted the technician the next day and was told that he had car problems. Which was no excuse. I contacted Select Warranty and to my dismay, they stated that the technician was sick. I thought this was a lack of customer service on both the technician and Select Home Warranty. Further speaking with Select Home Warranty customer service the individual was very disrespectful and was very argumentative. I was then told it would be well over two weeks for someone to come out to my home to diagnose the problem and that I would be responsible for paying another fee of $75.00.
After, voicing my concerns with the fact that I would have to pay another $75.00 for someone to come out to my home to give a 2nd diagnosis, it was finally agreed that I would not be charged. Two weeks later another technician from another company was dispatched to my home. I was left with the understanding that the part would be in and Select Home Warranty would pay diagnosis fee. After waiting 2.5 more weeks, making trips to the laundry mat, I spoke with technician and was told he was waiting for Select Home warranty to approve the order.
I then contacted Select Home Warranty, who stated that they had sent me an email, saying that they would only approve a portion of the 2nd companies' fee and I would have to pay the remaining balance. I checked my email and my junk mail, in which there was never a record of any email. The 2nd technician contacted me and I instructed him to come on out and repair my washers. The washer was finally repaired after 5-6 weeks after going back and forward to the laundromat.
My 2nd complaint with this company pertained to my hot water tank. A couple days ago, my water tank started leaking. I contacted Select Home Warranty, put in a claim. I waited a couple days, to my dismay I then contacted the company to learn that the company does not cover leaking hot water tanks, yet when I initially contact the company and compared apples to apples I was led to believe that the company covers hot water tanks. Per further speaking with the customer service rep of Select Home Warranty, I was told that the company sent me an e-mail stating that a leaking hot water tank was not covered. I was told to look up my agreement per the customer service rep., this individual cited a section of my agreement.
Well, keep in mind that it was such a struggle to receive both a hard copy and a copy of the agreement via email. Just recently, I went back and checked my email and there it was a copy of the contract. Surprisingly, both the hard copy of the contract that was mailed to me and the emailed copy are missing the clause, referencing what is covered as it relates to the hot water tank. The customer service rep was very argumentative as was the managers that I have encountered. This company lacks customer service. Based on the experience that I have encountered, this company is misleading and the Attorney General of this company should investigate this company. As I have viewed the numerous complaints this company is misleading and lack integrity.

Adam was very polite, considerate to my questions and knowledgeable about service. Found me a pretty fair price for service and was good at getting it taken care of to sign me up for the service. I had been looking at home warranty policies earlier today. Select Home Warranty was one of the 2 I had narrowed it down to. I received a call from Mike. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He was very professional and upfront about fees and wait times. Very courteous. My home is approximately 15 years old and I am concerned that there could be some expenses in the future. The peace of mind in purchasing this sort of warranty is well worth the price. I am trusting that the negative reviews of the service are possibly exaggerated and that if I have a problem, it will be taken care of without issue.

I contacted Select Home Warranty as a result of an email that I received. I called and spoke with a representative, Jonathan. He was very helpful in explaining the warranty system and the coverage that I would be receiving. I made the purchase with a credit card. In two to three days I received my contract. Very helpful friendly service. The representative was fast and efficient. I was able to sign up in less than 5 minutes which is a good thing when you are really busy. I was emailed promptly with my service details. I was reviewing on the website then immediately got a call which was great cause I had more questions. My call to Select was prompted by a 21% increase with my existing home warranty company. I called to see if they could reduce my payment, and was told they could only lower it to a 15% increase. This is unacceptable! Richard was excellent for explaining your program. I had no intention of purchasing right away, but with all the discounts the price was just too good to pass up. He was very knowledgeable and looked for all the discounts he could find for me! I would definitely recommend him to others!

Have a good conversation with sales. Great deal from the sales. The sales explained all the policy items and the important things I need to pay attention to. Good policy to cover all the appliance we have at home. More important this policy covers the A/C cooling system and heat system that I have spent a lot of money to repair a couple years ago when I didn't have any home warrant insurance. I called with many, many questions and I was a bit skeptical of signing up for a home warranty. My previous policy had a ridiculous deductible and repair wait times were unacceptable. Zachery was very patient in answering my many questions. He assured me that they have multiple contractors in my area and also informed me that if I have a ‘preferred’ repairman, they can be used, with this policy, as long as they are licensed. This had me sold. This policy seems like a great value with low monthly payments and low deductibles. Submitted claim for repairs covered under electrical. No response for 2 weeks. Multiple attempts to contact claim reviewer at the extension given by the claim representative. Multiple messages left on voicemail at reviewer extension. Finally told by claim representative over 2 weeks later that reviewer denied the claim and Select Home Warranty would not cover our electrical issues.

I had a 3 years warranty coverage. On June 13th I file a claim for my AC not working, first tech assigned never answer my calls (for two days) to get an appointment. Then I called SHW. Got assigned a second tech, went home the next day, send his diagnosis to SHW. Until the 18th they asked me for pictures of the unit and maintenance records, (which I didn't have) so I send the pictures and an explanation for the records, received an email stating (copy paste of actual email) "We have received your pictures and will be sure to review it with the diagnosis, please allow us at least 24 business hours and we will update you shortly on how to proceed with your claim."
I received No answer at all. Call back 2 days after and I was told my claim was still under review. INCREDIBLE. From the 13th to the 21st and no resolution, (TEMP inside my home was 91ºF); after telling them I was going to cancel my contract with them I was told that they will cover the repair ONLY for up to $150.00 dollars (because no Maintenance records were provided).
I CANCEL my contract with them, (I paid $975 dollars for three years, cancelled before the first year, so I was expecting to get at least $600 dollars refund) I received a call of a person telling me he was the supervisor for the billing department, trying to convince me of not to cancel. After letting him know I was firm on my decision, I was told that I will only get a refund of an amount of approx. $400 dollars, stating that first year of coverage would be charged at the actual price of the policy (more than $500 dollars a year), which I think is not fair. What would happen if I wanted to cancel during the last year, would I end up paying???

Fred was very knowledgeable about Select Home Warranty and a very good salesperson. He offered me an offer that I couldn't refuse. The total amount was less than the original quote and the term longer, with two months free. The amount of the service call fee was also lowered and that is always helpful since there is always going to be problems in an older home. Yes, I spent more per month than I planned but I saved quite a bit in the long run. Fred was also friendly and understanding of what I was trying to accomplish. I feel like I can call Fred anytime if I have an issue and he will make it right.

Very pleased with Mark when placing order over the phone. He answered all the questions I had. I did not know how the warranty program worked and he explained it to me. We have two heat pumps and I wanted to know if they both would be covered he said they would. I also wanted to know what the monthly charge would be and he explained it also. He explained that there is a seventy five dollar deductible that needed to be paid upfront.

He matched the quote with a competitor and I could even have the same kind of coverage for my bigger home which I pay almost double with Sears Home Warranty. I contacted Select Home Warranty regarding a policy. The online rep indicated if I called today, I could get $200 off my policy. When the online order would not let me add the "200OFF" code, I called the toll free number. I spoke with Mark **. Mark was very helpful. He found my online order and assisted me with securing the $200 discount. However, in continuing our conversation, he shared with me other promotions that were available that would, ultimately, result in the reducing the yearly cost of a home warranty plan. After speaking with Mark, I agreed to accept the 5-year policy that includes a free 12 months of coverage, as well as free roof leak protection. Extremely unhappy that I have been unable to even schedule a service call after one week of a broken washer. The first service company I was referred to was out of state - over 2.5 hours away. The second company refused to accept the job because they were "too busy" even though I got an e-mail confirmation that they had accepted it. Now I am told to find my own service company, pay up front and wait for up to 30 days to get reimbursed. To top it all off, I have to have a technician come out and give an estimate, then wait 24 hours for authorization dept. to review, THEN have the technician come back out again! This is the first time I have ever had to place a claim, and I am so upset I am going to look in to cancelling my 3 year contract.

I'm selling my home, and needed a home warranty. I am closing in two days, and needed to secure a home warranty before closing. Our experience was ok but could have been quicker with response time. Customer service could have been better. The tech was very informative and nice and he was the best part of whole experience. We have a newborn in the house and we were told it would take 48 hrs in order to even see if we had coverage for the a/c being fixed. That is unacceptable. So we’ve called the warranty department again and they weren't helpful.

I don't write reviews, so wish I could write a good one. Select Home Warranty sent this company out to check out A/C unit. Repairman said it would take $1200 to fix but suggested not waste money based on the age of the unit. New unit $3000. When I called the warranty company they said they could not honor warranty because unit had not been properly serviced. It was low on freon and the coil was dirty. When I realized they weren't going to pay I called a local company I'd used before. For $95 I was told the freon was full, the coil was less than a year old. An overflow value had gotten some debris in it and shut down the unit. And by the way the service man said he would come back for $250 cash after hours. As a lifelong business owner this stuff just makes me sad.

Our current home warranty was up for renewal and we were ready to extend it for an additional year. After speaking to a customer representative via phone, we were offered a greater discount on a longer term than we initially expected to purchase on our home. We were informed that our warranty was transferable or we can take it with us if we decide to sell and buy another home. I received a great value for the home warranty plan. I haven’t had to use it yet, but I appreciate the value and am happy for the low service call fee should I need to use it. It was considerably cheaper than any other company I looked into and since I signed up for a longer term my service call fee is very low. After calling numerous companies this was hands down the best rate I could find! William was super helpful and gave me time to think about the best option for our new home purchase. He also gave me a variety of options to chose from. The only thing I wish with the coverage is that freon and freon leaks were not excluded from the AC portion of the plan. I switched from OneGuard to Select Home Warranty because they have fewer exclusions, their policy is half the price ($49 per month vs $118) and the deductible is $60 vs $69. If I do need to make the call they assured me that they have several contractors waiting to service my area. That’s great to know especially with these Georgia summers where an a/c could let you down at any time. Twenty four hour assistance is also an added bonus.

I called to make a claim on my garage door opener is broke. Guy on the phone was super nice, made my claim, then I get an email saying that I haven't had my policy long enough that the garage door is broke before my policy went into effect which is not true. I've paid 2 monthly payments. It takes 30 days for it to be effective so I've had it effective now over a month almost 2 months. Garage opener hasn't been broke at that time a few days maybe 5 days. I emailed them back to try to confirm the dates and make sure I had my dates correct, I still haven't heard anything back from them. That was 3 weeks ago. So I guess I just taking my money pretty much. They're not holding up their end of the contract.

I am pleased with the amount I was given to replace the disposal. I do wish they would send someone to install it though. Someone to install the disposal would make it so much easier to complete the process. This is my first experience with the company and so far I am pleased and would recommend them to someone else.

With our house being almost 10 years old, we decided it would be smart to get a home warranty. We called on Memorial Day and took advantage of a great offer, our agent Richard, was very kind and helpful. It was a very easy process to get set up. We feel good having the coverage. Carlos was able to resend our policy right away to our email address that was accidentally deleted. He also advised us that we will need to contact the billing department to get a copy of our 1st bill that was probably also deleted by accident. He provided the timezone and billing department hours and explained politely that he couldn't help us with this issue because only the billing department has access to our account information to resend bills.

They were quick on helping me select a policy and were informative on all the discounts I had available to me. The offered multi year discounts which were very appealing. The representative was attentive and listened to my requests for coverage. Overall it was a quick and easy process and hopefully I will never have to use the service this is a home warranty company that provides repair and service work on appliances and other items around your home if they break or quit working. The repair cost average for fixing one thing in your house pays for almost an entire year of coverage if you would have to pay a contractor to fix it yourself.

The guy provided me great options and also discounts that he was able to provide me. One of the things was the servicing cost and he was able to lower it to the level I was looking for which prompted me to go for a service contract for 5 years and I ended up getting 12 months of free service. He was also able to accommodate the service date start for me. Great communication skills. I am sure Select Home Warranty will offer similar service level when there is a claim.

Called to see if I could get a better price compared to another Home Warranty company I had been using. The representative was helpful and gave me a price that was much more affordable than what I had been paying. He went through all the options and quoted me accurate prices in order to make sure I had a full understanding before deciding on whether or not to purchase the plan. The sales agent Sol was very helpful and patient with all my questions and requests. The signing up process is fast and easy. It was quick and straight. The email correspondence were prompt. I was a bit hesitant to try out Select Home Warranty but after speaking with David ** I am now a new customer. David took the time to explain everything in full detail to me and ensure that I was comfortable with choosing Select as my new home warranty. My previous warranty company made it clear that I either renew or I don’t and that was that. They will not cover anything and will require you to jump through hoops just to cover anything. Even when you provide them with documentation. I have only owned the home for 3 YR and have serviced every item in the home. But still they decided that I have not provided enough service records and only offered $150 to replace my AC unit. The Coils were replaced and the refrigerant was filled and serviced as I have submitted the paperwork that the work was done by a contractor which was certified. Yet they are not covering the repair and only offered the 150. Which is not even close to the amount to cover the cost.
Updated on 07/09/2018: Several emails have been sent in regards to the coverage that I have. No contractors will work with these folks and they refuse to pay any claim. After contacting the contractor which refused to work with Select Home Warranty they stated to me that they will not come out. I then contacted them back and they refused to help me. "Your request for service #** has been assigned to At Home Services, an authorized Select Home Warranty service technician. Please allow up to 12 hours for the contractor to reach out to you."

Even though we had a rocky start with a claim... Select Warranty personnel were responsive and understanding and did what they could. Now come renewal time, Isaac was very open and upfront about the plan and he worked to give me a great deal and any extras he could... so I am still a Select customer and as long as they work toward making their clients happy they will continue to have my business. With all the warranty companies out there, it is difficult to know who to trust and work with. I would recommend Select to those in need and wondering who to contract with.

The customer service rep was very helpful. The only thing I did not like was that the promotional offer was only for those who paid the entire year's fee up front rather than monthly. It seems they could still offer that but make it the 2 months after the first year is paid up. Other than that, it sounds like a good plan. I'm hoping they are better than who I had before at least since they are a little more expensive.

I called to ask about the plans and fees. The representative was really rude. I asked about the 200 Off coupon not working when I tried to enter it. He proceeded to tell me that $100.00 and $100.00 add to $200.00 and that I just don't know how to add. I told him that the site says the yearly rate is $499.00 if I subtract $200.00 that it should be a yearly rate of $299.00 not $399.00. He told me I should know that it is actually $399.00 for a year. I will not buy coverage with a company that can't even be nice when you are looking into the service. I can only imagine it would be so much worse if I had to make a claim.

I purchased a contract 1/31/2018 which the salesperson stated my a/c units were covered since home was under 5000 sqft. I placed a claim for unit in April 2018 only to be told it was not covered. I immediately called the salesperson who admitted to the mistake and in good faith I paid the additional $340 (my mistake) only after countless phone conversations they were going to pay me $400. What is the warranty for... Definitely not peace of mind... Maybe I paid over $2000 for insanity? Needless to say I canceled contract and took a BIG loss but not giving up yet! Save your money. You will just have to pay out of pocket in the end... why buy a contract of headaches?

Repairman stated heater needed to be replaced in my dryer. It is a covered part per contract section 6.2.6. He said he had the part in his truck, but needed to get approval from Select. I asked if he could call Select from my house for the approval. He said no. Next day I call Select, they still had not heard from repairman, but stated he could have called from the house for approval. I asked Select to expedite the claim. I asked if they could call the contractor. After 20 minutes on hold Select said the contractor sent an email, but they did not receive it yet. I asked Select if they asked the repairman for the diagnosis. They did not. I asked for a Supervisor. After another long wait a Supervisor came on the line. She said she needs the diagnosis for repair.
I asked if the repairmen you send out know your company policies - that they can call and expedite an approval especially when they have the covered part? Select should have companies that know Select's procedures and contract - it is not a very long contract to see if an item is covered. Why make two trips and leave a customer without a working appliance? It is inefficiency at its best!!!! I spent about 40 minutes on the phone in addition trying to straighten this out. The Supervisor did reach out to the contractor after I had to ask her to, but did not get the diagnosis, just to verify that he sent an email in. I asked for the name of the President of the company and just then the email came through and the Supervisor received approval. Circuitous process, but the Supervisor finally came through with an approval code. It shouldn't be this hard to get a covered repair.

Will reply very promptly when you are wanting to get policy information about a new policy. However, they can't even process the information on the policy correctly and charged more than was advertised. BE CAREFUL of the 2 "FREE" months they include. They use those against you if you cancel your policy because it makes their monthly pro-rated amounts higher, that they get to keep from you. The first time we tried to use the policy after 2 months, our A/C was inoperable and needed a new coil. While the repair guy was there waiting to do the work, they told us on the phone that they couldn't provide authorization and needed 48 hours to think about it. Seriously?
So, the repair guy left and we were without A/C in 90 degree plus temperatures for a week. The minute the repair guy put everything back together and left, they e-mailed me and said they needed pictures and maintenance records. I didn't have access to pictures of the inside of the unit any longer and they knew it. So much for them having everything they needed from me! Then, everything was excluded in fine print, from being covered. They wouldn't even cover the service co-pay.
We ended up cancelling immediately and had to wait over a month to get the refund check. It "got returned in the mail to them", etc. One more excuse after another. Then, the clincher was the refund check for the $399.99 we paid them, was ONLY $241.66. They kept a $75 cancellation fee which is understandable, but then they pro-rated the months we had it, and used the FREE PROMO MONTHS they gave us, to make their pro-rated amounts higher so they could keep more. DO NOT USE! They are not helpful, honest, available when YOU NEED THEM, and they are all foreign/outsourced and VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND.

I enroll three homes in Select Home Warranty program today looking for to doing business with them, avoiding costly repair bills. This plan give me peace of mind and avoid me trying to find and screen contractors to repair or replace my appliances. The customer registration was easy and free and I was provided with email confirmation of the contracts with in a timely manner. All of the contracts were clear and concise and easy to interpret which real important when trying to manage properties that are not in the same states or cities. Looking forward to a long term working relationship with Select Home Warranty. Very straightforward presentation of what services were going to be provided and the response time for repairs.

This company has horrible reviews everywhere but this website. They claim to cover things in the house but then when you try to file a claim they say it's not covered. They email a contract that needs a signature before showing you the contract. I requested a paper contract because I was not going to agree to something without reading what I was agreeing to. Never got a contract from them. When I called to say that I don't want the warranty if they won't give me a written contract they told me good luck getting any money back. This is a complete sham.

They lied about covering tankless water heaters when I signed up and they denied my claim when I had an issue with our heater. I also made a claim with my microwave that was also denied. I used to have First American Home Warranty and they were 100% better than SHW. Don't buy this warranty, go with another company.

Brad did a great job explaining coverages and options to us and did his best to maximize the value of our out of pocket expenses. We are looking forward to things running smoothly when and if we need this coverage. We really liked the idea that he was able to save us money upfront while ensuring that we will have the most comprehensive coverage for our needs. I really like the knowledge that we are able to pick our own contractors should we need to get something fixed. Since we built our custom home within the last year, we like the idea that those who installed everything and worked on our home can also be the ones who service anything as need be. This company denied my claim by plugging in an arbitrary date that the washer broke down. They did this to avoid paying for a claim by saying that it was a preexisting condition by one day. Had they put in June 8th instead of June 7th they would have paid the claim. Instead they denied it. The washer actually broke down on the 11th not the 7th. Very important details. Also, the contract they sent me specifically states that my service fee was $60.00, they charged me $100.00. They said because they meant for it say 100 instead of 60 that they do not have to comply with their own contract. Very slimy. I am held to the details of the contract but they are not. Very convenient for them. Do not do business with this company.

Select Home Warranty is a SCAM. The most they will pay out for a claim is $150. They take 10 days to just look a claim, then you have to keep calling to follow-up and then they ask you for the same stuff you already sent them and say they didn't receive it, then they want you to come up with 3 years of receipts of service for your HVAC system even though I just purchased this house 6 months ago and obviously that's not possible. All their marketing is gearing towards homebuyers and realtors to scam you into thinking you will be covered so you feel at ease moving into your new home, but nothing is covered.

It was a pleasure working with him. It will provide coverage for the essential home appliances including our roof. All in all my experience was good. My Select Home Warranty covered the problem and the final cost was very manageable. I had confidence in the company that responded to my request and they responded quickly to resolve the problem. My experience with the claims department was not as smooth and caused a lot of anxiety for me but the friction was resolved quickly and the claim approved in reasonable time. I feel my Select Home Warranty was a good investment. This was the first time I used it and I was very glad it was there.

I paid SHW over $800 to cover my home and pool system. I submitted three claims and all three were disapproved for various lame reasons. First was my freezer and they said ice makers weren't covered. Crazy! It was the complete unit that was broken and they refused it. Second claim was for my plumbing, which is covered in the policy. No help! Third claim was my pool pump and that is a long drawn out story in itself as they told me to hire my own contractor and after doing so, they said it wasn't covered. Three strikes and you are out. So! I paid $800 for the warranty, plus $60 for the first contractor to look at the freezer and then had to buy it myself, which was another $350. Then $60 to look at the plumbing. Still broken! Third time $60 for the pool pump assessment and then I had to pay $450 to get it fixed. All in all I spent $1770 and got the shaft.
Please don't make the mistake I did. Oh! If you do, when you try to cancel they will prolong it with all kinds of excuses promising you that they see where they are at fault and will call you back and give you their extension. News flash! The extension will not work and they are stalling you. Then when they finally cancel your warranty they will tell you that you have no money left on the warranty. These guys survive off of the numbers. 350 million Americans and they suck the money of the few boneheads like me that chose them. Once again, don't do it! They should be part of a class action suit. Any takers?

Detailed various plan options and reviewed my primary concerns and accounted for my circumstances. Because plan options vary, it can be overwhelming deciding which items I wanted to have covered, what premiums and deductibles are available, and more. Select did not hesitate to ensure that our issue (Garbage disposal repair) was taken care of. We were pleased with the customer service. Never thought having home warranty insurance was worth it until now. The process was smooth. Although we are scheduled to be reimbursed for our part, I feel as though paying the fee for the plumber should have been included. Brad was excellent. He offered me some good advice. He also offered me the best deal you had to offer. He took his time to explain my payment options too. Although it was a little hard to hear sometimes with the background noise, he would just speak louder. He gave me all the information I needed to complete the survey and get a free month tacked on to the plan I chose. He reached out to me on several different mediums so it made it easy to find him and contact him back.

Sol did great! He explained everything and I feel like he gave me a good deal. I feel more at ease with what he provided. I ended up getting the package to last 6 years and he explained the savings in a way that made sense. Even though I wasn’t trying not to spend a lot I feel like it’s worth it. I would recommend anyone buying a house to purchase a home warranty. I hope when I have a claim the process is simple as well and Sol gave me a a free claim as well.

Good, knowledgeable salesman. Not pushy. Easy to talk with. Polite. Respectful. Gave me all the information which I asked for in an understandable manner. Friendly fellow also. He knew the subject matter very well and communicated it to me well. He also gave me the opportunity to extend the contractual period, first of all to five years, then to three years, then finally to two years. He impressed me as a person who believed in the product which he was attempting to sell me. That meant an awful lot to me.

Select Home Warranty has three plans to choose from. I went with the Gold plan and after shopping around found it to be the best price on the market. Shop around for yourself, but I feel better knowing my A/C and heater will be covered if it breaks over the next 15 months - and at a reasonable price. It's great being able to lock in a price for 1, 3 or 5 years. I paid for a full year up front so I wouldn't have to worry about any issues in the future. It's easy to talk with any of their employees and someone always picked up when I called.

After researching the top 2018 home warranty companies, l just purchased a Platinum Care home warranty from Select Home Warranty. The representative that I spoke with "Allen" answered all my questions and was both knowledgeable and courteous. The time to get all the facts and make a decision took less than 5 minutes. This was something that I have been needing to do for some time now and it was so easy. I now feel great knowing we are covered for any unforeseen breakdowns. Happy with the plan. It appears to cover all that is listed in the contract. The only item not necessary is the garage door as that is covered by the condo association. All the other appliances are my responsibility including the air & heating unit, water heater, some plumbing. The condo association covers the roof windows, doors, common areas, general maintenance of bldg. & common areas. I have received the warranty info & service info from Jonathan who has done a good job in providing info on the program along with various discounts also available in the platinum plan.

I talked with Sam and he set me up with a fair price and commitment to be better than my previous warranty company. The call was easy and after a little explanation of what I was paying and what I was trying to get done, we were able to work it out. It was one of the better sales calls I've had lately. I just signed up today and you always hope that you don't have to call, but glad to know that the next call won't break the bank if something goes bad.

Salesperson, Isaac, was very helpful as he explained the different types of renewal options and did not pressure me into any additional coverage. After I explained my situation, he thoroughly went through the different types of multi-year coverage options and the benefits of each. My previous experience with a competitor was not good for a variety of reasons and I was concerned about finding another reputable warranty company. While I have not needed to place a service call to date, I am confident the matter will be handled, accordingly based on my experience with the sales department.

Get a very quick response from sale man Richard. He is professional and very clear about the plan and discounts. The plan has very good value with lots of promotion discounts and low service fee ($ 45) for multiple years contract. I picked the most expensive one which covered AC. New contract and no claim yet. Signing up was super easy and fast, although I have not yet needed to use the service the price was much better than several competitors and I was contacted immediately. Coverage includes all of the most important items in the home like roof, plumbing and electrical systems and all appliances. I bought the warranty for the person who is purchasing my house for sale, and they will really rest easier knowing everything is covered in case of emergency.

Easy to sign up, reasonable prices. I have had a warranty through another company for years, but due to price increases, Select offered a better value for the money. Coverage appear to be very similar. Only difference is the geothermal unit is not covered but that is still covered under the manufacturer warranty. We have multiple properties and the discount to cover all was very good. It makes it easy to maintain then since we don't have to worry about the mechanical parts.

My representative Abraham was very professional and informative. He answered all questions asked. Being a senior citizen you want honesty from any reps or companies that you deal with, and I feel comfortable by contacting your company because of the great customer service. I have over the years being in my home and through many weather related incidences need that extra coverage for my peace of mind. The agent was very helpful and explained coverage effectively, along with providing additional rebates. With the rebate offers and extended service option, the service appears to be significantly cheaper than other warranty providers. The service is transferable if you sell your house, you can carry coverage to a new residence, or you can cancel and receive a prorated refund. I haven't had to use the warranty service yet, so I can't provide information regarding service requests execution or demonstrated coverage.

Confident sales rep about the offered products and was straight to the point, which I liked. Answered all my questions very quickly. If the coverage is as he described such as response within a 8 hour timeframe from service call I'm sure I will be pleased with the company and if the company corrects the issue on the first time around instead of putting "band aids" on the issues. I also like how it was highlighted that I could cancel at any time I was not satisfied and could receive a refund on the remaining of the policy.

Richard was great at outlining my options for renewal and the different rates. He made it quick, clear and painless as to the coverage I was getting, the service fees and the special promotions available to make an informed decision that fit within my budget and needs. Select is one of the few home warranty companies that will cover sprinkler systems - an important coverage area for me, and offered a very competitive rate. I've been a client of theirs for the past year and had relatively good response time and coverage levels, as compared to other home warranty companies.

Isaac went through several options... and offered various ways I could save money on the different options. Advised me of what costs could be... what others were charging and how I might be able to save additional dollars with the different programs that Select Home Warranty had to offer. I appreciated him taking time to explain what was and is available and the best way to best deal for what I needed. I can cancel after 30 days if I decide later that I do not want the coverage that I have agreed to and I also get 6 months free if I sign up for a three year program.

I kept checking with SHW on Monday with the hope that it could rush the process. SHW said they did not get the codes from technician, so they contacted the technician to get the code. I had to make sure that SHW had what was needed. I called SHW every 3-4 hrs to follow up. They said the same thing, "Please wait for 48 hrs. It's under review by our manager of authorization dept."
After 48 hrs, I called Wednesday morning, SHW said they didn't have the code from the technician!!! What the heck was that? They kept saying "It's under review. And now they just didn't have the code." I had to ask SHW to call the technician again and let him provide the codes while I was holding the line. I bet the technician was upset with this as well.
Then, SHW told me to WAIT for another 24 hrs since they just received the codes. But they would escalate the case since it had been long after the first report about the issue last Friday. I was really really mad at this. I asked to speak to a manager of that authorization dept or someone who could give me a better solution. They said all I could do was to write an email to that authorization dept or they could have someone call me. I told them, have someone call me. I wanted to find out how to cancel my plan. I am very unhappy with the service. I signed a 2-year plan and I still have 1 more year left.
Guess what! No one from SHW called. I am now hoping that my issue will get resolved very very soon. I bought the plan to have "a piece of mind", but what I get from this is I am having is a pressure from my tenant and bad services from SHW. I know SHW trying to avoid paying for the work. So they try to make it so hard and difficult to get the issue fixed. This is the first time I ever reviewed anything. I hope this can help anyone who is thinking about getting a home warranty plan make a right decision. I wasted my $500 on having one. I would give a million negative stars if I could.

Excellent employee. Additionally, when another representative called to address my request for a quote, he was very professional when I informed him I had already spoken to Abraham. I had been shopping for a home warranty for some time. I had spoken with multiple other companies. I found the service representatives rude at other companies. I found Alan at Select Home Warranty who was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I am still in my waiting period before I can make a claim and have not had a need to make a claim so I cannot speak to how well that process works. I recently created an account and purchased a warranty plan from Select Home Warranty. Mark ** did a great job explaining the various options and incentives to help find a warranty plan that fit my needs. I switched to Select Home Warranty from another provider. I appreciate the ability to customize the options on my plan. I took advantage of the roof and sprinkler system add-ons, which are not offered by some providers. I would recommend Select Home Warranty to others, and wish I'd found them sooner.

Warranty do not cover Freon leaks. Took a week to deny my claim. I accepted most of the blame for not fully reading the contract but I still believe it could have been handled quicker. Legally y’all did everything to the letter but overall my experience is negative. My covered appliance was not covered. How can I be happy about that. The only other thing I discovered is if I didn’t have three years of maintenance records everything was voided. This is something that should have been included with the sales pitch. I paid for a full year so I feel trapped. If I was on a month to month I not sure I would remain a customer.

I called over a week ago about a dryer claim and I have yet to hear anything about it. I have called to inquire about this issue and was speaking to someone on the phone who was going look into the issue and suddenly I got a voicemail for who knows who. I am dissatisfied because I was told that services could be dispatched same day and it's been over a week! I have no dryer right now and it's very frustrating to be waiting on a company to refer me to another company, who I'm sure I will also be waiting on.

They market to first-time home buyers, new homeowners, and real estate agents but all they're doing is taking your premium and they don't cover anything in the claims besides the minimum of $150. They need you to provide three years of receipts of service for anything to be replaced or fixed. How can you provide receipts when you've only lived in the house for 7 months? That's how they can try to get away with it because of the three years period you don't see on the small print. What a scam. Do not buy a warranty from them.

I've spent 2 years getting the runaround from Select regarding my AC unit. I've called on them for only one issue in the several years I've been with them and it's been nothing but excuses for not covering the AC unit. If you can actually understand the "customer service" Reps on the phone, they'll tell you what you want to hear, but when the time comes to write a check, CRICKETS!!!

Belinda was very helpful and informative. Should I need to submit a claim I am confident Select Home Warranty will deliver as promised. The coverage I selected is very extensive, more than other home warranty companies I researched. The purchase process was very easy. I was able to complete the entire transaction in about 20 minutes from a complete review of my options to final payment. Select Home Warranty approved a new AC motor for our house, told the maintenance guy to go ahead and change it, and gave me the amount of reimbursement on the phone (it was the cost of motor minus $60 out of pocket). After we paid for it we were informed that they only covered $150. Emailed and called them many times, got transferred around and explained the situation countless times. They finally apologized for misinforming us but said they couldn't do anything. We are out of $700 for a decision that they have made for us. You would think purchasing a home warranty makes life easier, but that's not the case with Select Home Warranty at all.

I was talked into paying in advance for a three year policy. I was told it was a special and I would receive several months free and my service fee would only be $37, down from the $150, and down from the original $48 with a one year policy. I made a claim. It’s been over a week in 90+ degree weather waiting on my AC to be fixed. I am now told that my service fee will be $47. I could had someone come out and take care of it for $40. This is a SCAM! I have never received my policy, nor have I received an email from the agent as was promised. Do business elsewhere.

I purchased SELECT HOME WARRANTY about a year ago & this is the first time I use after they charge me $41.66 monthly charges for the last 12 months. if you check their web page, they have 3 levels. Bronze Care - which don't cover a lot - lowest level, Gold Care - which is medium and their best one top of the line they called. Platinum Care - they stated they will cover even washer & dryer clothes.
So May, 31, 2018 I place a phone call and stated my washer & dryer is not working, they said I have to pay $100 deductible, they send their repairman, who stated, it's not repairable. They must be replace, and he requested $200 deductible - which I paid, said he will return & replace both washer & dryer. 8 days later SELECT HOME WARRANTY send email stating they will only reimburse $125, however the cost to replace washer & dryer is about $1500 - my question is this you should change your name to "we select the price we pay home warranty" or "10% DISCOUNT WARRANTY".
In my opinion, this is deceptive advertising, also known as false advertising or misleading, or unproven information to advertise products to consumers and may result in the consumer suffering a financial loss, or another form of damage to the consumer. I wasted over 8 hours on the phone for 8 days, over 10 emails. There are several types of false and misleading advertising tactics used by companies to lure in unsuspecting consumers. Some of these tactics include - Bait & Switch Advertising & Deceptive Form Contracts, this is wrong, deceptive form contracts have ambiguous promises or fine print in their contracts that are usually overlooked or misunderstood.
A false advertisement can further be classified as deceptive if the advertiser deliberately misleads the consumer, as opposed to making an honest mistake. Unethical advertising, on the other hand, will often distort or misrepresent its product and well as seek secretive means of cajoling or influencing its target audience. And Unethical marketing activities, in contrast, can destroy your business's reputation and possibly lead to legal troubles. this is confusing, misleading, or blatantly untrue statements when promoting a product.

After considering several home warranty options, I chose Select Home Warranty. Adam called to offer me a lower deductible and discount on a multi-year plan. There seemed to be little risk, since I am able to get a pro-rated refund if I am unhappy with the company. The items covered under this warranty are more extensive than competing companies - there is even a free roof leak coverage included. There are optional coverages you can add for items such as swimming pools, well pumps and sprinkler systems. Many other companies don't offer those optional coverages.

The service rep was extremely helpful and efficient during the sign up process. She was very professional and nice. Didn't oversell and was very clear what our options were for coverage. I would recommend you all to my friends. So far so good! While I have never dealt with your company before, I found the experience extremely comfortable and pleasant. Surprising for a call center. The rep made an offer I couldn't refuse he was helpful but I hope when I need to call for a repair that it goes smooth as this phone call. Repairs are costly so I decided to look for a home warranty if I ever need a repair. Hopefully this warranty will offset some of my cost. Not sure if this will or not. I'm going to try them on a month to month basis to see if I like the service's first. If in the future if I need a repair then I can decide if this is for me. I may commit to a longer contract then.
