Abraham ** was professional, courteous and very helpful. He figured out exactly what type of policy I needed and worked out a great price. He was not too pushy or aggressive either. Just the right amount of sell! We even made some small talk which made the process all the more enjoyable and fun. Thank you again Abraham. Finally I would like to say that American Home Shield is the type of company that will double your rate and go time and then deny all of your claims. I was initially happy with them but they proved that they have no intention of actually service in your property when there is a slight increase to their balance sheet.

When I purchased Select Home warranty, the sales people were so sugar sweet and "accommodating. After placing claim for service on my heat pump, things changed. I was assigned to Heat and Air Co. and made appointment. Phone number given for H&A Co. was **. The tech was 2 hrs late even after I called to confirm. While there, he examines the wrong out door unit (red flag goes up). He tells me he has to send someone to diagnose the problem. The cost for the diagnosis would be $325 dollars cash. The "SHW does not cover diagnosis" he tells me (red flag). The service call would be $60 dollars. I agreed to pay the $60 and put it on my credit card. "We do not accept CC nor checks" I am told. "Only cash". (red flag.) Then he wanted me to give him my password to my bank so he can get the money himself. I PROTEST!
I got my own vendor, repairs were approved and work done for the total price of $285 dollars. I paid my tech and submitted the receipt for reimbursement in Dec of 2018. I am still waiting for a refund check! I have called 2/8/2019, 2/13, 2/27, 3/18, 3/22, 25, 4/24/2019. Each time I am told "THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL".
I spoke to customer service Froyland, Don, supervisor of billing Johny, and emailed Jonelle at billing. They keep lying about the refund "check in the mail." This illusive check in the mail must have traveled around the world 10 times over and still has not found its way to my house and mailbox. Today is 4/24/2019 and no check in my mailbox yet!!! Select Home is not the honest company I thought I was doing business with. From the questionable service person to the lack of willingness to refund me by giving me the old "THE CHECK IN THE MAIL" line. Can someone help me? Is there an agency that oversees discrepancies in home warranty cos? What is my recourse?

I have placed a call for a failing washing machine. The reps handle business professionally. I will review further once the process is complete. My first experience did not go well. I called for repair.. Was given a claim number and never heard back. After I called to check status my case was listed as an exclusion. I understand that... but it was the waiting that I was not happy with. I could of called a tech. to repair AC instead of waiting for SHW to let me know it was not covered.

I placed a claim online for our pool pump and heater. I received an email to contact the company regarding my online claim shortly after having placed the claims. When I called the customer service representative was helpful and courteous to go over the claim I had submitted online. I was not on hold long and I was made aware when I was going to be put on hold. I was told I would receive an email within 24 to 48 hours from the phone call. I received the email confirming a technician will be out within 48 hours of receiving that email. I have been satisfied with the service thus far and hope it continues as I will be more apt to sign up for an additional year. If the service remains helpful, courteous and useful.

I am wondering if you are ever going to send us anything in the mail, like a contract or anything, all we have is an e-mail you sent us and that is kind of sketchy, my wife called and talked to somebody that said they would be sending us something, but as of yet-nothing. Every day my wife says- "You got ripped off again you stupid idiot, how many times do I have to tell you don't buy anything on the internet?"--just sayin'.

The process for signing up went smoothly. Haven't had to make a claim yet. Other companies tried to use high pressure sales tactics. Luckily I didn't have that experience when using this company to purchase a home warranty. I will have to see how things go when I have to submit a claim. At this point I've just purchased the warranty. My experience so far has been satisfactory. We debated whether it's worth the cost so we'll have to wait and see.

Without even discussing my options and/or sending a technician, they decided that a limited reimbursement was their choice. Their response is "You have been approved for a cash reimbursement in the amount of $125.00, which you may use towards repair or replacement of your current unit. After a Review of the information and diagnosis relating to your claim, it has been determined that the cost of repairs exceeds the current value of your unit. In the event the repairs or replacement exceeds this amount you will be responsible for the balance. Please see section 8 of your policy." So, after paying my contract fees, I now have to pay for a new microwave and have a technician come and install the unit. Where are my savings by using this company. I will be requesting a refund on my current contract. Buyer beware. Read all sections of their contract, not just the item coverage.

Many loopholes in policy that allow them not to pay for services. Significant (more than promised 24 hour) delays in service. If a washer breaks then the dryer is not covered. This is almost a scam but it isn't. Claims people are abroad so timing of phone calls and emails isn't great. They don't pay repair people very well so most local shops don't want to work with them. First few months aren't covered and are considered "pre-existing".

We were looking to compare rates to our current home Warranty policy that is about to expire and was empresses with the information on Select Home Warranty site. Zachary was knowledgeable regarding cost of policies and what they cover as well as service call price. He answered questions regarding coverage in our area. He was polite and personable as well. Before ending our call he provided our policy number and his contact information. I feel we we are receiving great coverage for an excellent price. I would recommend to friends and family who are looking for home warranty coverage either new or considering a change.

My experience was very pleasant. Richard make it a walk in the park renew. We have been very happy with service over the past year and have renewed our warranty service. We had to use our warranty on 2 occasions last year and each experience was more than pleasant. The companies used were professional and the servicemen were professional. I would recommend this warranty company without hesitation.

I noticed the paint in ceiling was cracking and got on stepstool to see if the drywall was wet and it crumbled in my hand. I immediately knew there must be a leak somewhere on the roof as it was directly above. I contacted Select Home Warranty and filed a claim and they indicated that depending on the damage they may not cover it. I was contact 2 days later with a contractor but the contractor phone number was incorrect, so I requested another contractor. The next day I was emailed another contractor. I was eager to get an appointment so I contacted the contractor and he sound a little confused at first, but said he had received my information and schedule my appointment for the following week.
I searched on the internet and could not find that company so I call Select Home Warranty again and they gave me the option to get my own contractor and they would reimburse me as long as I provided the diagnosis prior to doing the job and I did. Two days later they approved my repairs. My only issues are the contractors, I want to know that they are reputable companies and should be able to find information on them and not take Select's word that they are reputable.

I purchased this warranty as they had high rating and great reviews. I have since learned they give away free months for a good reviews. The sales guy was super helpful and really sold me on how great this company is. The company is very slow moving. Slow to provide technicians to fix problems and reimbursements. Claims specialist aren't able to provide help in speeding up the process. I turned in a reimbursement invoice a month ago and I am still waiting for them to send me paperwork to just start the reimbursement process. We have had to install our own equipment, and hire our own technicians. We will not hire this company again. I wish we had never purchased this warranty.

I was a little disappointed that our dryer repair was not able to be completely covered, but the cash disbursement that we will receive will definitely help us get it fixed. It is something that our family definitely needs. In the past Select has come through with repairs to a couple of our appliances, which we truly appreciate. Sham of a policy. Do not use Select Home Warranty. Every claim we filed, they found a loophole to deny coverage. They sent multiple technicians who were unqualified to been troubleshoot and access the damages done during our coverage period. Due to my dissatisfaction the claims department offered two additional months of coverage as a courtesy to me, they are now denying any conversation took place.
I asked for them to listen to the recorded phone calls that are under my account, they said there is no point. I am on hold right now waiting for a supervisor, after being told there are no supervisors that work there! This company is a SCAM! In another claim, we have still yet to receive a $150 claim reimbursement check. We paid for the upgrade package, purchased 2nd coverage for a 2nd AC unit and pool system.

Leak from the dishwasher. I called Select one day to report the leak. (This was my first problem since I have the warranty.) The next I got a text with a notice that my claim had been assigned to a contractor along with all their information. I called the contractor who had already tried to call me and set up a time. The contractor was great very professional. He found the problem and called back to Select to get permission to buy the part needed for the repair. The job has not been completed yet but I am confident it will be. So far the Select warranty has worked out as I would expect. Thank you so much. Frank

Process was a bit long with the repairman stated that it was a lot of repeated questions and difficult to deal with the customer service person. Payment only covered half of the total repair cost. I am not sure that I have actually seen a return on investment into the warranty?

Dishwasher. It has taken almost a month to get out a second tech to look at it. I had to a for a supervisor to get a second tech out now. I’m waiting again to get it fix/looked at. We will see how this goes but if not fixed I will ask for a full refund and find another home warranty company to salve the problem. I’m hoping we can resolve and stay with the company I’m with.

SHW was quick in replying to the online claim. They required a phone call to follow up. It was about a 5 minute wait to have my call routed, but the customer service agent was pleasant and helpful. The plumbing contractor was excellent. Scheduling was only a day out. The plumbing contractor used texting software to confirm appointment and to notify of the location of the plumber the day of service. The plumber was prompt, courteous, clean and thorough. He did SHW proud.

Richard reached out and did a great job of explaining the different options. I feel confident that I will have great service with Select Home Warranty. I was able to get a warranty for my home for fourteen months as to a traditional twelve months. I am hoping that if I have an issue that the contractors that they work with are reliable and trustworthy. Thank you again for providing me with options that meet my needs. Was not aware that there was a 30 day waiting period. No one told me and I was only able to get a copy of the warranty information after making this claim. But thank you the same. Had I known this I would have waited. I had to request the policy information multiple times. Did not understand why it was a problem getting someone to forward this to me since I was told I would have in a couple of hours after I enrolled.

Technician decided that a 15 year old circuit breaker was improperly installed. Screws were loose. I guess he’s a time traveler. The company would not cover the repair. Also it took nearly an hour for him to get through to the company sitting in his truck. Time I had to eventually pay for. I’m very much not satisfied with the company. The electrician was great and did a good job. He is a good find for future work.

The gentleman on the phone was great. Problem is this is the second time in 2 months I reported the problem and a technician never came out. But the gentleman did give me his extension to call if I don’t hear from them Thursday. My stove only has 1 burner that works. The customer service was wonderful but unfortunately so far the product IE the service that fixes my appliances hasn’t worked as of yet.

Fred was the gentleman that called me. He explained the warranty to me and stated all the benefits. He did not pressure me or make me feel I had to buy. I listened to him and he convinced me that this warranty is a "Good Deal". I like that the company will provide their servicemen as I have received very poor service from servicemen since moving to Texas. This will give me some faith that the service will be satisfactorily completed.

The Select Home Warranty agent was very helpful in offering me an array of plan options that would help me reduce my costs, extend my time, and decrease the on-site service fees. Since I am a new customer and must wait at least 30 days before using this warranty service, I am unable to evaluate actual repair service at this time. Perhaps, at some future time, I will have an opportunity to evaluate the delivery of services.

I have been paying Select Home Warranty since October 2017. Tried to put in a claim on my refrigerator (ice maker not working) and while it is listed on the front page of my contract as a covered item, Select Warranty stated it is not covered. So, I put in a claim on my toilet (leaking water at the base). I place this claim online (as they advise you to do) on Tuesday, April 16th in the morning. I get no response whatsoever from the company, so on Thursday, April 18th, I call to find out the status. The gal that answers says, well we need more information from you (please know I was extremely detailed in describing the problem). I asked what is the purpose of entering a claim online if nothing is done about it and no one calls you to get the same exact information as reported. They just answered, this is how it is done; we always need more information.
From this call, they assigned a contractor, IGD Plumbing, and then a few minutes later assign another contractor, Loyalty Plumbing. I had already set an appointment with IGD Plumbing for Monday, 4/22/19 between 10am and 1pm. The technician shows up at my house around 12:10pm, looks at the toilet, states he needs to call the home warranty company, took the $60 check and left. Never heard from them or anyone with Select Home Warranty. I called SHW again today at 4:30pm to find out what was going on. All they told me is that it is with a claims manager and that person will call me today or tomorrow.
So here we are, over a week later with water leaking from the base of my toilet with no service. When I signed up for this warranty plan, I was told it was a 24 to no more than 48 hour response time to repair the problem. This was out outright lie. Luckily I am on a month-to-month agreement, so believe me I will be terminating this policy after this issue gets resolved....if it even will. I am figuring it will end up just like the refrigerator....not covered. I knew I should have staying with First American Home Warranty....ugh.

Horrific Service. I had our sump pump go out over the Easter Weekend and called Select Home Warranty on Sunday to report issue. I called in at 1:43 pm and spoke to Oscar. He asked what the issue was and I explained that the Sump pump quit working and the lower level was filling up with water. Approximately 13". He informed me that he would place call on a priority and that I would hear from someone that day. Never heard from anyone so I called back on Monday at 9;21 am and spoke to Justin and informed him the situation and that no one ever called or emailed me back. He then said he would place on priority.
At 2;10 I received a email that they hired Perfect Touch and they would be calling me. Never heard from them. Tried to call them several times to get the answering service all three times. Left message to call me back but no one ever called. At 8:15 pm called Select Home Warranty again and spoke with Jamar and explained that I had called in a company to replace the sump pump and wanted to get reimbursed. Was told it had to go to review and they would get back with me. Again no response.
Called on Tuesday at 12:46 pm and was told it was still under review. Due to the sump pump going out it damaged the Hot Water Heater and Furnace. Placed calls for their repair or replace. I was told today that that they were backlogged and would get to it as soon as possible. So we now have no heat or hot water. This company needs to be investigated for their practices. I am going to be writing to the Better Business Bureau also.

My furnace began to make a lot of noise and the furnace would stop and make humming and buzzing noises. I filed a claim and it was 4 days before a technician came. When the technician arrived he said the furnace needed 2 motors. He had to call to get authorization to make the repairs. He said he would have to go back and get the parts and would be back in 48 hours. After he left, I received an email stating: "After a review of the information and diagnosis relating to your claim, we are requesting that you supply pictures of the unit in question. They can be emailed to claims@selecthomewarranty.com. We are also requesting any maintenance records you may have on your unit (i.e. maintenance records/reports, repair records/invoices, etc.)" After all this I called a local furnace repair service. They said it was just one furnace fan motor which they repaired within an hour. **

My hot water heater went out on Easter Sunday. I called Monday afternoon to file my claim. After filing my claim I was advised I would receive an email from a claims specialist advising of my service provider. Within 15 minutes I received an email advising the issue was not covered. While I do appreciate the promptness of the response, I was disappointed in the response. I was denied service and referred to the terms of my policy which indicated that the issue was not covered. The specific policy portion indicted to review does NOT indicate that leaks are not covered. I guess that I will now have to hire a plumber to come fix the issue.

All in all it was a great experience talking with Jeff! Was polite, answered all my questions and concerns about the Select Home Warranty plan for $45.00 a month. I would recommend this to all my friends and people I know. This is a great price and value. Couldn't ask for anything better. I plan on keeping them for years to come. I can't believe how cheap the price is. If Select is as good as they say they are about repairs and only having to pay a one time service call this is the best Home Warranty I have ever heard of or seen. Thanks again Jeff!!

This was an Excellent and fast service that they provided. The claims process was easy also. The electrical company contacted us right away. They were friendly and prompt. He solved the issue and made things smooth and easy. Thanks to my home warranty for connecting me with the electrical contracting company. Superb service and outcome. I was not charged anything extra except for the service charge. So, I knew exactly what the cost will be. They delivered as promised and we will use them again.

Ray was very helpful and very responsive, When I told him I couldn't talk and please call me the next day he didn't push the issue he did as I asked. He was very courteous and explained everything concisely. He took the time to explain and find the best option for me. I recently purchase this home warranty after shopping around for a cheaper provider. Although the trip fee is cheaper you get what you pay for. I have had to call 5 times for one claim. I've had the tech no show 2 times and a second tech cancel as he was not local. I then called back the day my bill was due (bill set on auto draft) due to the payment not processing until midnight, they were unable to take my second request as the payment hadn't processed. Never mind the fact I've has this policy for a year billing the same. Not one issue. Needless to say the leaky dishwasher cause more damage over the course of the 6 weeks it's taken to get a tech to come out. Which as of the date of this post, had yet to happen. The issue has spiraled out of control and is now worthy of a full HOI claim. Worst company ever for a first time single mom in a new state with no connections. Worst company ever.

Our home at low hot water pressure. I had to call 2 times to get the claim opened. A contractor was assigned but they never contacted me to schedule an appointment. The contractor did not contact me Within 24 hours. Called you back and was on hold for a long period of time. This issue has gone on for at least 2 weeks now and still nobody has come to troubleshoot or fix the issue. I'd like to get this problem fixed but feel like I'm getting the runaround. Also the contractor is located a long distance from the house. I was hoping they would assign a more local company that I may be a little familiar with and could get local references.

AC check. When I contacted Select warranty about my issue they immediately assigned a company to handle my issue. The company contacted me immediately and someone was sent out to assess my concern within 2 days. When the company came out I felt they took their time to assess the issue and presented themselves as being very professional. After being assigned a company I looked them up and checked their reviews and they had 4.9 reading out of 5. After their initial assessment the presented a claim to select warranty and My issue was a maintenance issue and deemed my responsibility. It was nice to see the promptness and urgency my issue was given.

I have called twice for service and both times I'm told about these exclusions that the customer is not told about at the time they sign you up. Take your payment then inform you of all the exclusions. This is not a good way to run a business, be honest with your customers up front and avoid all the frustration. I did get some satisfaction when they offered to send a service contractor out to look at the problem.

I have had one plan prior that was a horrible experience. The state of New York sued the company and I never felt so ripped off. I am anxious about this, so please be responsible. The representative on the phone was beyond helpful. So as of now I feel we have started out on the right path. If the service continues as the initial contact has then this should be a positive relationship.

Submitted a claim around midnight, I received an email that a contractor had been assigned around 9 in the morning, then received a call from the contractor himself to schedule service. Very quick assignment of contractor, received a call within 12 hours of filing a claim. The contractor was able to come the same day he called to diagnose the issue. I paid my deductible and felt I did not have to worry anymore. It was a stress free process this time around.

I contacted SHW, filed my problem online, and within 12hrs, I received an e-mail and a phone call to see if there was anything else they could do to help. They let me do the easiest solution, purchase a new disposal and send copy of receipt. Then I will be sent full reimbursement up to the pre-approved price. With it being a holiday weekend I'm sure Home Depot, or Lowe's will be having a sale. I just have to wait for the Sunday sales paper to arrive.

Having an issue with cold air not coming through. Having trouble w/ them getting a contractor, however they are pleasant, hopeful to have air soon! The first contractor refused to work with us, which isn’t a good indicator. I think I have one more day before I should hear back, so I will keep you posted. I was on the phone for a while, and I had to give my security information several times. I’m hoping it gets resolved quickly. That why I got used this company, for their quick response.

I was very pleased to work with associate. He was very detailed and offered very competitive pricing to suite my current needs. When I called back in to obtain comments on the $15k per year coverage the manager sent it right away. I am also able to make 3 payments separately to cover my coverage timeframe which is outstanding customer service satisfaction, I recommend Select Home Warranty services to anyone looking to change from their current provider.

This is the first warranty company that informed before I paid the visit fee that a particular item was not covered. Other companies would get my explanation of need and send out someone who then tell me I wasn't covered but still had to pay the deductible. That to me was fraud. Your company was clearly more up front. Thank you. I appreciate your fairness, it was a pleasure to have this degree of honesty which is so hard to find in home warranty companies.

After submitting my claim about my water heater element blowing out of the water heater tank this company says their policy doesn't cover leaks. There wouldn't be a leak if there wasn't a mechanical failure caused by pressure and the threads holding the event in place. Spoke with several different employees and the company is hiding behind the "leak" clause.

Repaired 3 electric outlets in Kitchen that quit working the breaker to be added to the breaker box to keep it from blowing the outlets again because there is too much power being pulled by microwave. Still has to be put in for microwave and you are looking for someone to do that being there is a big back up in this area. I don't know what else you want me to say. I am a home owner and happy with Select Home Warranty.

Sale was a bit heavy handed but seriously so far the cost has been well within the norm of a contract like this. Great overall product and I believe this will work well for the multiple properties it will protect in the future. I would be careful buying into any contract with a warranty company until you have checked out the local capabilities as with American Home Shield it could be days before you were able to get any kind of help or service request answered.

Mr. ** was polite, courteous and very informative. He demonstrated much patience and understanding. I am happy with the VIP coverage and discount received. The extra years contract I got was priced reasonable and it includes roof leakage protection. I had Select warranty in the past and they were very responsive, so I am joining them with my new home again. The service repair they send is reliable and bonded, I never had an issue with them. When ordering the home warranty through Select Home Warranty, the first person I spoke to was very pushy and not respectful when I said I needed to see information and time to consider. He proceeded to tell me that it was "my loss" if I didn't sign up and then didn't follow up on providing the information I requested to consider the warranty. I called a second time, and the person who helped me was much better, and gave me a better discount than the first person. The BBB rates Select Home Warranty with a B-, citing complaints of poor work by contractors and not fulfilling repair/replacement requests. I am hopeful that the negative reviews are, perhaps, a factor of local contractors and not a national experience, and I am hoping the contractors in my area will do a good job of helping me maintain my home. I would rate my experience as a moderately satisfying experience, with room for improvement.

Ray was very knowledgeable and if he needed confirmation, he asked the manager. I had questions about monthly and annual rates, coverage. Ray answered all of my questions. Price: Good rate for the year compared to my current provider and 2 other companies. Coverage: Select Home was able to cover all of the appliances that we needed plus our sump pump and the radiant heating. For those that would try to purchase the warranty online; it would be nice if it mentions radiant heating online.

GOOD TRANSACTION, It took a while to get thru the process but once I made the right connections it went smoother. I have to make three calls but it was complicated by the fact that the vendor that was directed to service did not come to fix and I was told to call someone to do the repair but I would have to pay him and go thru a reimbursement procedure and it's a little bit of a hassle but it will get done.

I will say that at the end I'm satisfied. The issue I had early was with the 1st company sent out to assist me. Golden and Golden never showed up and wouldn't answer my calls. After talking to your company my situation was escalated. The company Crystals Appliance came out the same day and had my refrigerator up and running in no time. The technician was very polite and knew what she was doing. I'd recommend her to anyone and I thank Select Home Warranty for having her on your list of certified technicians.

I found all persons knowledgeable with the services provided. Explained the items covered. Described in detail their responsibilities. The proof will be when a claim is filed but given our initial contacts in arriving at our contract agreement, I have a good sense that I will not be disappointed. I was with, was very vague and I made the mistake of taking for grated their policy, without asking enough questions about the coverage, and it's limitations. Dryer repair claim. The claims representative was clear, concise, friendly and helpful. She was informative and was able to help me get the information that I needed. I was advised that the process was to file the claim first. The next step is that I would be given a claim number. After the claim number was assigned, the company would locate a contractor to fix the problem. We would then receive an email from the company explaining which contractor that we should call. When we get the email, call the contractor to set up service.

I spoke to Isaac and was really unsure what to do. Since I take care of my Stepdad who is an older gentleman, I wasn't really sure what option to go with. I went with the 5 year program that also gives you an extra year free. I wasn't sure if I should do this, since I really did not know how long I would need this for him. Isaac made me aware that you can cancel at any time and you will get a refund of any years you have not used or you could transfer the policy to another family member. I think this is a great option for anyone. I have not used the service yet, but will let you know if I have any complaints.

Sent Service request for clothes dryer that was not heating. This was my first request with SHW since I became member. There was no wait time when I called---which was a great thing... The other Home Warranty Company I had for several years would have you on hold for an hour! And I have to say they were polite and helpful! I have not gotten info on who will service my dryer but will write more once the request is completed! So far---so good---and will report more at later date! The only problem I had was that I wanted to place a claim over the phone since it was my very first time using the service and I got transferred to three different representatives and still don’t know why but someone was finally able to help me. Another thing is that I’m still waiting to receive the email with the technician’s information so I can call and finally get someone to fix my air conditioner. I got an email saying that they are still trying to find a technician. A little disappointed in the waiting time and wondering how long it’s going to take for me to have air conditioning in my house.

I called in regarding a Water pressure issue with my main bathroom shower head. It is coming out too fast and I am losing hot water too fast. There are no leaks that I can see anywhere and the pilot light is lit on the unit. I would like a service technician to come by as soon as possible. The customer service representative did a good job taking my call. I think only a one-time charge of $75 should be charged for having a technician come by even if there are other areas of the house to be looked at. That seems more fair than $75 for each area.

I was looking for a new home warranty because the price of mine kept getting more and more expensive. The biggest problem that I have with that is when there is nothing wrong with the house and I have to keep paying more. I also liked the fact that there is a payment plan when you do not have all of the money upfront. I had read many of the great reviews that this company received. The price was in my budget and I was extremely happy. I was not hounded by the company like I had been with some others and email correspondence was great.

We purchased a new home last year and was given a warranty with the purchase. We were up to renew so we took advantage and price shopped--Select Home Warranty offered a great price and also had a special for two free months. So, fourteen months for the price of twelve months? What a deal! We also read reviews on several companies and we saw that most of them had the same types of feedback. In all fairness, we reached out to our current home warranty company to see if they could price match and they wouldn't even consider it or offer a discount for being a repeat customer. (Again, this is my first experience with a home warranty company so I am not sure if that is industry standard or not.) Setting up the new plan with Select was easy and, while we hope to never use the service, it's is a good feeling to have that security. (And the service calls are only $60!) We will put another review in if and when we have to use them.

There are many levels of coverage and the salesman was clear about the differences and how to navigate them. Appliances and other items are covered and the deductible seems reasonable. I purchased a home warranty with the expectation that my appliances would be repaired if broken. Upon filing a claim, the technician came to my home at 9pm at night. Advised me that the issue was the vent motor on my dishwasher. I was told that he would order the part and return to fix my unit in a few days. I didn’t hear from anyone for a week. I finally received an email from a Select Home Warranty stating that they would send me $150 to either buy a new dishwasher or to get another technician to fix the issue. When I questioned why the technician was not coming from Select Home Warranty I was informed that the calibration motor was over $460 to replace.
When I informed Select Home Warranty that this was not the problem with my dishwasher they informed me that I would have to take that up with the repair company. This is the technician that they sent to my home and I am now supposed to argue with their vendor over an incorrect quote? When asking for a refund and to cancel my contract I was informed that I should get my own technician to fix the issue and accept the $150. I am dissatisfied with their service and with the services of the company they sent to my house. I paid $375 for the home warranty for 2 year. Did not get any items repaired and they want to offer me a refund of $216 to cancel my contract. Completely unacceptable!

My air conditioner stopped working last night. It was 80 degrees in the house. I turned the thermostat back to 78 degrees but nothing happened. I turned it down to 76 degrees and still, nothing happened. I went outside and checked the breaker box and they were OK. I filled out the claim form online and submitted it. In less than an hour, I had a phone call from the Select Home Warranty agent. The agent was very helpful and polite. He was able to quickly and accurately understand my issues and helped me finish the work order application and in less than an hour, I had confirmation of the work order and an email of the company that would be contacting me.

Bruce ** assisted and provided great customer service and addressed my concerns regarding home warranty service since I had not been happy with other companies and some of the contractors (service men) sent out. He answered all my questions on what is covered, I especially like coverage for roof leaks since I live in Florida and it can rain quite heavily and you never know when you might get a leak. I ask a lot of questions and he was patient to address them all.

The technician that came out to fix my washer was professional and on time. We communicated a couple of times prior to his arrival. He diagnosed the problem and after getting approval, he fixed it right then and there. I would definitely recommend Select Home Warranty to anyone. I feel comforted to know that I have this warranty service to protect my home. Being without a washer is very inconvenient. It is great that I have my washer back.

In May 2018, we closed on a brand new house in Tennessee. As is typical, all new appliances and systems carry one year warranties, but offers from each manufacturer to extend individual coverage started to appear shortly thereafter. We found Select Home Warranty online and spoke with Jeff ** who was extremely knowledgeable about the coverage plans available and all of the senior discounts that would apply to our situation. Isaac helped to renew my policy. Select covers a lot of problem plumbing etc. Would recommend for sure. What is good is if you plan to move it’s transferred with you or can give to new buyer. It’s good to know if can’t repair they replace the product so gives you peace of mind in furnace and big appliances. Hot water heater etc etc etc. You also can use your own contractor but need to contact them first. Some of these warranty people at other companies don’t send qualified people.

The value of this plan compared to the other plans was what sold me as a new customer. Consumers are looking for what works for them. Having confidence that they are buying a great product. Especially when you are on a budget. Appliances are not built with the same professional skill as they once were. It's more electronics that fail the appliances than anything. The warranty that come with the appliances when you buy them mostly come with a 1 year warranty. But the cost of extending the warranty up to 3 years is extremely high. Add that to all your other appliances that's a lot of money.

My ac quit working and it took Select a week to send somebody. Once contractor diagnosed that compresser is bad they are using electrictal shortage and other reasons to not cover a bit. Customer service is bad and they are not willing to cover anything. AC Guy things they are twisting his diagnosis to get out of coverage and recommends me to go with another insurance company. Tomorrow will make 1 week without that toilet and I am hoping for an appointment to get it repaired. This should not take this long to find someone to look at the repair issue. I decided to switch our home warranty to Select and it was quick and easy to sign up for a new home warranty. I filed a claim on Friday, 4/12. I received a claim number and a vendor who was supposed to be calling me within 48 hours but never did. Two of your customer service reps called them three times and I've called three time with no response. I filed a new claim last night (4/17) and the process is now starting over. It's been nearly a week and no service to date. The original vendor, Greenhow Home Services, should be deleted from your vendor list - they're totally unreliable. Also, the process for locating and approving a licensed vendor is too lengthy and complicated. I'm not satisfied with the service so far. Feel free to call me and we can discuss.

Very easy to get an email quote for my area. Easy to sign up over the phone. Good price for Their platinum package. Good customer service from sales staff. Had previous home warranty but switched to Select due to better price and lower service fee. I had to come to a regrettable decision to cancel my two 5 year prepaid Select Home Warranty policies recently. I had not received my copy of the policies and learned of a policy limitation that I felt was not going to assist me enough with a an expensive pool repair. After further discussions with Mr. ** and comparisons with other warranty companies, I do agree this company does offer better coverage and limits on claim for my situation over all those other companies I had previously considered.
Regardless of my decision to cancel, I do recommend this company because of the efforts of Jeremy **, a Supervisor that took the time to work out everything with me and has assured me that I will receive my adjusted refund. He made sure I received the policy copies so I may confirm everything that he told me as it pertains to coverage, limitations and deductions now that I am canceling. I am currently waiting on finalization of my status which simply means, receiving the refund amount determined in my last conversation.

He also thanked me for my service being I’m military and offered an even better rate. Replace shower trim/handle. Today's initial call was good. They usually are. Follow thru is what I've had really bad experiences with in the past. My last 2 claims took approx 6 months+ to get paid - even after authorization. Getting service and repair is taking way toooooo long and this is unacceptable. We were told that we would get up to $500 covrage after 90 days and it's been 90 days or more and now they are saying that they will only give $150.00. This is unacceptable as well and also a lie was told. They actually told me the policy was taken out on 12/6 and anything repaired after 3/6 (90 days) would get up to $500.00 payment for any diagnost repair. So not true. I have been spening tooooooo much time on the phone trying to get this resolved. This is a horrible warranty in my view.

Good morning, My experience has been great so far. I did not like the fact that I have to wait at least 24 hours before I get a contractor's information. I was asked great questions regarding my appliances. I have to have 2 order numbers because I am having trouble with my dishwasher and clothes dryer. Up til now, my experience has been great. Price was reasonable and Fred ** was knowledgeably and easy to talk to. You are far cheaper and the coverage is just as good as my last company. I appreciated the honesty and great customer service I received. I did check three other companies for this service which I have used in the past 17 years and this company is by far the best in price and what is covered. The representative was very helpful and efficient in setting up my water heater claim. The only thing I don’t fully understand is why the online submission alone is not enough; typically have to follow up with a phone call in order for the claim process to start and a local vendor to contact me. In the future, would consider just doing a phone call.

I filed a claim with Select about our microwave oven and received a return call within one day. I was told that it was more economical for Select to just pay us a onetime fee to replace (or repair) the microwave oven on our own. Today I received email notification from Select stating they would reimburse us $125 (more towards a replacement would have been better), so I have ordered a new microwave oven ($500) and will have it replaced this weekend. I highly recommend Select to many people, describing the prompt and professional resolution of our claims (we had a prior repair claim on our gas stovetop) and the peace of mind we have from our comprehensive Select Warranty.

Great customer satisfaction. Currently have a policy with another company that doesn't maintain a good relationship between their company and their customer. When I needed them in a emergency, they weren't there. I really thought I was worthless to the present company. I've heard a lot of good things about Select Home Warranty so we will see. I've been waiting for a long time for a company with a good reputation and was told by two people who needed them because of a home emergency that SELECT WAS THERE QUICKLY.

My agent made me feel comfortable in my decision to go with Select Home Warranty. He explained the coverage and answered all my questions without pressuring me. The warranty claim was placed with ease and the follow up communication was quick and accurate. The oven repairman was professional and on time. An improvement in the process would be more clear communication as to the process and status of the warranty claim. Specific information on when/what repair or replacement can be expected would be most beneficial. This information would be great to have within a few days after the service call was made.

I purchased a 3 year home warranty from Select Home Warranty. All paid upfront. However, when trying to use the warranty, it is actually the worst and most useless purchase I EVER made! I mean there are so many bad experiences, I don't even know where to start. A lot can go wrong in a home in 3 years right? I am fortunate that nothing completely major went wrong in my 3 years, or I'd be up a ** CREEK! I always have to contact my own technician, because I am in a rural area, and this is fine and understandable.
After they come out and write receipt, I then email it to SHW. Then they email me back a ticket and tell me I'll hear back in 24-48 hrs. That time comes and goes. Until I email again, and then they reply and ask me to call them. So I call them. Then I get the run around with we didn't receive your receipt or we couldn't see where it said paid. So....re submit it again via email, and the same thing again...then they'll tell you on the phone that they will submit it to another department, and yada yada and so on....complete run around. Every single time!
Or how about this one? I was approved for a certain amount AFTER receipts and pictures of the item were sent. I call to find out when I will be getting my check, as it's been 30 days already. In return, I am told I must submit pictures! What??? They already acknowledged they got the pictures and said I was approved for a certain amount??? Wouldn't they have a record of the email they sent me? Did the guy on the phone representing SHW ask me to forward him the email? No he did not! Just basically saying "We never told you that", and "We didn't get your pictures, after we told you we did". This is the constant runaround I get with these people!
Ask them about their roof warranty? The policy says roof is covered. It comes with the policy. HA! Biggest LIE EVER! But, what does it include? How about what it doesn't. Leaking roof? Not covered. Shingle or metal roof? Not covered. Leaking around your chimney? Not covered. Hole in roof? Not covered. Hay roof? NOT COVERED! SO THIS IS ACTUALLY OF NO USE TO ANYONE! I was taken for a ride on this! NEVER again will I purchase a home warranty. I thought I was protecting myself as I bought an older home and was worried some items may flake out on me just as I bought it.
MY ADVICE is first DON'T BUY from Select Home Warranty, but IF YOU DO, READ ALL THE FINE PRINT! There is much they don't cover! If they do, you have to jump thru hoops of fire to get any kind of reimbursement. Needed my stove replaced, it is a built in countertop with an oven. Cadillac of stoves, that parts aren't made for anymore. I was given $100 total! My stove cost over $900 BEFORE having it INSTALLED! (By the way, I did not replace it with a cadillac of stoves, only what was available to fit back in the space in which my built in unit was in). Completely dissatisfied. Not to mention, no one working there SPEAKS ENGLISH! Uggggh! This is the worst purchase, and the worst company I have EVER had to deal with. A complete waste of money and my time!

Coverage on a rental property I have it gives tenant peace of mind. The only thing I didn't like is you charge me for the year but the coverage doesn't start for 30 days. Can you answer why that is? Customer service was nice. Better than some of the other companies I called, one company was high pressure sales and then hung up on me. Let's hope what I was told by your customer service team is true, if we need to make a claim I hope it's a smooth process.

Easy conversation with the salesman. Very helpful and informative. I needed full and complete coverage for my new North Georgia home. I found the product offered to be perfect. Plus I was able to take advantage of some current promos that helped as well. There were other offers that would have helped even more, but I purchased the 1-year plan at a very reasonable price. My work hasn't been completed yet. We have to up our coverage but I will greatly update once the work is complete. We have low water pressure in a number of rooms from the Master bathroom to the downstairs main bathroom. We have basic coverage and it is said that we must increase the coverage in order to get the work done. So far the customer service has be very good and the value seems good. We are just waiting for the work to get complete. We hope to have a better description of the work in the near future so that we can have more to say about the process.

I have a full coverage with Select Home Warranty. I had a HVAC issue. They sent a technician to see the issue. He said there is a indoor coil damage and hence Freon got drained out. As per the insurance Freon leak is not covered. I agree and it is mentioned in the terms. But the cause of the Freon leak is coil. I asked them to cover the coil. They said since Freon leak is not covered so anything related to it is also not covered. Reason they gave sounded like, saying your car and car wheel is covered but not the air inside the wheel... When there is a puncher air goes out. Since Air is out you are not covered with anything... They try hard to make you buy and try not to service you. Insurance is cheap and so the company.

Although monthly payments continue my acct. was placed on Hold due to a missed payment in November. This is a scam. When my heating system stopped working, they couldn’t send a technician, since they didn't have anybody in this area. On top of that one of the customer service employees was extremely rude. After many calls asking for the technician which they never could provide They asked me to find one and they will reimburse me. I called again to make sure they will reimburse the full amount, and they told me that most likely they will reimburse a percentage but not the full amount. I reminded them that that is not the deal that they sold me. After this, I called them to cancel my home warranty, since they told me that I could cancel at any time if I wasn't satisfied. They hung up the phone on me. I called again, and they told me that they were trying to call me to cancel but that is FALSE. They never called me back.
I talked to Julio, who agreed to refund my full amount since they DIDN'T PERFORM ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN CONTRACT. Now, it has been 5 weeks, and they still haven't refunded my money. They continue playing games, emailing back and forth, asking me to call another rude employee that I talked with before and just would not listen to me, but repeat like a recording machine lies after lies. THIS IS THE WORST OF THE WORST! Companies like this shouldn't exist. They think they will get away with their scams but one day sooner or later, they will be closed down.

Very knowledge about coverage. The price is reasonable for the type of coverage with add-ons. the deductible is also very reasonable. The customer service rep was very knowledgeable and even suggested add-ons that would completely cover the entire home. I haven't had to use it yet, but hopefully it will work as stated. They even offer additional coverage for multiple units. This coverage and security to know that whenever something breaks down you have no worries. Not having to pay for the repair and then getting reimbursed will be a lifesaver. Compared to other cover Select warranty appears to be the best value.

My a/c Select home warranty offered me 100.00 towards the repair. Awful company!!!! The home was a gift to me. Didn't know I needed 3 recorded years of maintenance. I called Select home warranty. They were very rude. I will tell everyone I know about this company. So be warned. The maintenance man came out and told Select that the unit could not be fixed. While I find it interesting that you will not cover a 20+ year water heater for a leak I would like you to repair the hole. I am sure that holes are covered unless you exclude them also. This is without a doubt the most insane claim denial I have ever heard. The sales representative at Select Warranty was courteous and handled our claim professionally. The company recommended for service arrived in two days and repaired the water heater quickly. They even showed my husband exactly what they did to repair the water heater. The only downfall was that we had to take cold showers for two days. That was a bummer. Other than that, we are pleased with the results. And we are satisfied with our home warranty. We highly recommend both companies.

I submitted a claim and so far things have gone really well. I was able to reach a real live customer service representative without having to go through a cumbersome frustrating automated system. The representative was helpful and expeditious as well as courteous and professional. I would recommend Select Home Warranty again to friends and family. The person I spoke with over the phone was very helpful in suggesting I keep both claims separately and hear what the technician wanted to do. If the technician agreed to do all the work under one claim then I could call back and cancel the second claim. The representative made notes of our discussion so that the next time I call, this issue would be documented in order to minimized delay in processing my request.

I submitted a claim on a cloth washer on April 3rd. The company reviewed my claim and sent out a contractor the next day, which was great. The contractor came out, assessed the problem and submitted his findings to the company for approval for parts. However, because it was submitted after hours (5:00pm I'm assuming) nobody was in to sign off on the approval we were told. It was Friday evening so I was thinking, okay we will probably have to wait until Monday. No problem.
Here's where things went down the drain. I called them on Monday to check the status of my claim and was told that it was still under review. Tuesday I was told the same thing. Wednesday the same. Really!?! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they would tell me the same thing. I was like, what if it was in the dead of winter and my furnace broke? Or in the middle of summer and my AC broke? Is this what I have to look forward to? Come on!! It is currently Thursday and I am still waiting for approval.... Stay tuned.

Two of them they failed to pay the entire claim, even though my policy covered it, leaving me on the hook. I don't find it out until AFTER the work has been done. I am really hopeful that this will not be the case this time. I am tired of having to pay out more than the warranty amount.

Very professional and clear explanation of the benefits of a five-year plan. Assured that if I am not satisfied the contract can be canceled without penalty. Given an additional discount/credit as an AARP member bringing the annual cost down to $291 a year. Great value! The fact that the contract goes with us if we were to move is an additional benefit. My problem is with the technicians you guys work with. I’ve had 3-4 different technicians assigned to me and they all were very unprofessional. One technician came out. Took my $60. Not a wrong diagnosis of my dishwasher and didn’t even bother to submit the paperwork back to Select Home Warranty. When they sent another company they too also came and did a wrong diagnosis. I had to end up going on YouTube and fixed the issue MYSELF. Also when I was sold this policy a lot of the things I was told over the phone was not was in the contract thereafter.

We have a warranty on our appliances through Select Home Warranty (SHW). I called them because my air conditioner stopped working all of a sudden. They told me that they had assigned a contractor to work on the problem but we were never able to get in touch with this contractor. Three weeks later, they finally changed the contractor and scheduled a visit. The technician tells me that the motor is not working properly, that he would report that to the warranty people and also just in case, I might need extra freon with the repair. SHW's first answer was that my claim was invalid because freon is not included on the policy, without even looking at the actual problem.
I called the technician, he called them back and explained that the problem was actually the motor, freon was an addon, so SHW now decides to deny the claim because of electrical failure, the question is how did they determine that the problem was caused by an electrical failure? Sounds to me like they have a list of excuses to get away from the claims. The technician tells me that there's no way to determine what actually caused the motor to stop working but apparently this company decided that was the reason without even looking at it. Will be canceling this policy and would recommend to stay away from this company.

The sales representative asked if I want to renew. I said maybe but it's kind of soon. He gave me A price of $495 for one year. I told him I would call him back. Because in my mind that was too much. Spoke with Chase, excellent customer help, was able to answer all my questions and resolve the policy issues. We have an expansion tank, or recirculating pump issue. Not being a plumber, I did not know which was an issue, or if the issue is a combination of the two. Chase asked questions bringing the conclusion it is related to the hot water tank supply of hot water to the dwelling. Put in a repair order for my hot water heater in October. It is now April. It still hasn't been resolved but supposedly it will be soon. Although that's what they said about my a/c unit that broke back in August that still hasn't been resolved either. I have called this company repeatedly and they never have a answer except they are trying to find a technician but they are all busy currently. They must only have one or two technicians in total. Biggest waste of money ever getting a home warranty through select.

The entire enrollment process with Select Home Warranty was quick and easy for me. I completed the entire selection and enrollment process over the phone in one call. The sales rep who helped me was friendly and patient with me. He was happy to answer all of my questions and was knowledgeable. The special discount offer at the time was very good with six free months of coverage. I also liked the option to add roof leak coverage.

Customer service representative was professional and courteous. She had an accent, so I had to listen very carefully to understand her some time. I was put on a brief hold, but she asked if it was ok to place me on hold. I am a bit disappointed in the amount of time it has taken to receive a contractor to call for service. 24 hours have passed, and I have only received an e-mail saying they are searching for a contractor.

I just bought a policy and was treated great by Daniel **. Now having said that, I cannot comment on service yet but the purchase of the policy was handled very well. As with any purchase time will tell if it was a deal or not. I was impressed with the amount of coverage. I really liked the roof leak addition to a home warranty policy. I brought the plan with the most coverage. If all is fully serviced when needed it is going to be a great policy.

I have considered buying a Home Warranty for quite some time now. I had received a brochure from another Home Warranty company in the mail which prompted me to google best Home Warranty companies. Select Home Warranty was listed as top 1, 2, & 3 in several reviews. After completing an easy online quote request, I quickly got an email from Daniel. I called Daniel with several questions and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns. After my phone conversation with Daniel I felt confident that Select Home Warranty was the best option.

Built in oven - I have filed a claim at the mid of March, a technician came and assess the problem and discovered more issues, so I filed a claim the same day as the technician came which was March 28, no response from the claim dept after a couple of days. First, they came with the wrong parts; second, the issue was the exact same cause by the initial claim, I should not have to file a second claim at all. They should fix the problems at the same time, not one part and not the other.

The first company you called to check my dishwasher never called me so I called them & never heard a word from them. I then called back to Select Home Warranty & asked them to contact another company which they did & the serviceman called me within 3 Hours and set up app. for tomorrow. I explained to your to your agent that I was going for surgery in a couple of days & that my wife was disable.

I've been using Select Home Warranty for the past few years and been happy with the overall experience. From setting up a new account, to transferring leftover time to a new owner of my old property to creating a new account for my new home, the process has been pretty seamless. I will continue to use Select Home Warranty for the next few years. I feel pretty confident that if anything were to go wrong with any of my home appliances, Select Home Warranty would cover me. The only thing I wish they could have done differently since I have been a customer for a while, is to have taken away the 30 day clause from the day you start the program. They took off 15 days at least, so I was happy about that.

The company called us back and answered our questions. They then promptly sent an email with the answer of whether the job could be claimed. We had purchased this home warranty in case an emergency popped up and our septic tank needed to be pumped. The septic pumping service was not included in the contract, but the septic pump should be covered if perhaps we should ever have to use it again for this situation. Very prompt email service. Very proud of that.

It took a week and one day to tell me that they will not be able to fix my washer. They should of giving me the answer the next day. My basket was over loader and we were running out of cloths. I could of run to the store and buy a new one. I'm not happy with the waiting that I had to pass just to hear then say NO. They should understand that a washer is very important in any home so they shouldn't of have waited the long to hear from them. And I'm very sad that I had to wait a week and a day to hear from them just to said NO to me a washer to me in my home is very very important because we have to change our clothes every day like or not. So I hope that next I can get a answer right way.

The purchase engagement officer explained all the options very comprehensively and helped choose the right option. The options also explained about benefits and future plans. The officer had plans proposed for multiple years and I chose the limited options that cover my stint. Since there are multiple discussion and discounts available the specific plan helped me with right options. All through the process officer was polite and was able to understand my requirements and devised the plan accordingly.

The person I talked to you was very polite and answered all my questions and expedited my order quickly. I had asked many questions about the policy all the way from feet covered for the electrical lines. Asked how far they cover on sewage lines and appliances. There were some cells about longer coverage for high pricing but I didn't take his. I didn't think I could get it at this time. If I was asked at a later time I might have.

The gentleman was informative. He explained the policy differences. He explained coverage options for different types of plans and lengths of time. I inquired about different types of coverage and he was able to provide whether each was covered under the selected warranty. I had a previous home warranty and the prices offered with this company are lower in comparison to the old company. The trade service fee is lower as well. I hope the company will prove to be a good investment for the home.

Refrigerator. Call at same day to Select Home owner warranty for repair. Referred to Randy's Appliance Repair. Work order was send and Repairman came last minute on the same day and fix the problem with no delay. The Repairman is Knowledgeable, experience, honest and hard worker. He work with no delays, maintains work area clean, organized and in order. Very Satisfied with the service provided. The operator who received the call was professional and pleasant. I definitely will renew and extend my home owner warranty service to them.

He provided most excellent customer service and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get a warranty for their home. A quick response to my questions. I was on their website reviewing the info and they called me directly. The only negative was while speaking with the rep, Nathan **, was I received emails generated from their automated script library saying they have made multiple attempts to try to contact me and I was unreachable. Nathan confirmed they are using a script library and this is the way it works. They should review this process and timing of sending the emails.

They just find the way to denied your claim. I had home warranty with someone else for three years. I never had problem with them. Select Home Warranty convinced me to switch. Now I'm regretting this decision.

I was unsure about getting the coverage but after speaking to Abraham I was sold. I received the best coverage for a great rate! And, I have a great renewal price locked for life! Great deal! If I move I can take it with me or I can pass it along to who ever purchases my home if I were to sell. It was a very simple and easy process and I received great customer service. Chase was super easy to work with and very helpful and informative. We already had a warranty with another company, but he encouraged me to try Select. They had a lot of great reviews and were rated the number one home warranty company for 2018, so I figured I'd give them a try. They offered coverages not included in my other policy which made my choice even easier. I even added an additional property to my coverage due to a special that they were advertising.

This was really easy to sign up and get a home warranty. I shopped vendors and got overwhelmed until I got to Select Home Warranty. I decided not to renew my previous vendor because of there service. As I started to shop around for a new service, I was having so much difficulty that I contemplated not having a warranty plan at all, and to just pay for repairs has they were needed. While surfing the internet, I found Select Home Warranty and the explanations for plans was clear and concise.

Nathan was very efficient and helpful. I received a great deal and I'm happy that I was able to include septic and sump pump in my coverage. My electric dryer went out. The company got someone out to my home promptly. Everything was professional. The only thing is I don't have enough to cover the repair and I can't purchase a new dryer for the amount they offered me. I don't want a used dryer. I thought they would replace it without me coming out of more money but other than that I like this company. Everything worked out fine. I would recommend this company. Good customer service. They keep in touch until the end of the claim.

I contacted SELECT HOME WARRANTY when I had a hot water problem. The customer service representative was very knowledgeable and immediately got me the help I needed. The repairman from Bass Plumbing arrived as promised, was pleasant to work with and completed the repair in less than 15 minutes and we had hot water shortly there after. I am very pleased with everyone's assistance in this matter and would recommend SELECT HOME WARRANTY and Bass Plumbing to my family and friends.

Very thorough and professional job by Nathan the sales agent, he covered all the bases and provided the best plan for me. The contract I received from Select is very clear and concise laying out what they will and will not do and our mutual obligations. I'm a pretty cynical person dealing with businesses coming from a history of being burned too many times but Select seems upfront and straightforward which instills a sense of trust. So far so good.
