Hi. It was very easy to sign up for the home warranty at Select warranty. I was able to talk to a live person right away and he explained the policy. He answered all of my questions and emailed me confirmation very quickly. The phone call was quick and I did not have to go through many prompts to get to a live person. I would recommend this policy to anyone on a tight budget that can’t afford to replace or buy new appliances, people on a tight budget like myself.

Jonathan was very helpful with answers to all my questions and he was very thorough in regards to what the plan would cover. He also gave me some offers that were very hard to refuse and tried to work with us in regards to those offers, but we had to regretfully decline due to our budget. He was very understanding and tried to find other ways that could help us in the future. Great experience and we would definitely recommend this to our friends and family because of the great service we received.

He was kind, courteous and explained things in detail and was able to convince me (as I am a very hard sell) that it was in my best interest to invest in your services. I submitted my claim a little before 8am, and received a call from a representative within 5 hours of submission. The rep. was courteous and informative, letting me know that a service company would be assigned my claim and I would receive a confirmatory email. He made sure that I understood that I would need to contact the service company upon receipt of the emailed information. He was helpful and very informative with my questions.

I was very pleased with my representative. She explain everything in a very nice and fashionable way. I hope that all of the services that I will have be always nice and pleasant. Everyone loves good services and everyone enjoy good people so let’s keep up the good work. I have thought about getting home service before but never gave it another thought. I think it will be good to have. Probably will never need it but it’s like car insurance great to have if it is ever a need.
A friend of mine said she has had it for years. Only had to use it twice. How great. A great thing for everyone. Great insurance for everything you can possibly need. It says nothing like good service and good insurance. Great representation. I have three refrigerators, two freezer, one stove, central heating and cooling, eight gas heaters, one window unit, stove, microwave two septic tanks and several other appliances. I had a great phone representative. I so glad that she was able to help me get the account that I needed.

The attendant was patient, and tried to answer all my questions, and when it came to items they weren't sure about, they recommended how I could get clarification. The price of service seems fair for such comprehensive coverage. It would be helpful to get a more detailed item coverage list easily accessible to all customers. It would also be helpful to get monthly electronic statement, of which I don't seem to be receiving at the moment.

Great service from the sales rep. He was very thorough. He gave me extra coverage and he even gave me a better deal on the phone warranty. I was surprised by the coverage that this company offered. I am going to refer this plan to my family as one member is in the process of purchasing a new home at this very moment. I hope this company will offer the same great deal to them, too.

We were in need of renewing our home warranty policy and came across Select Home Warranty. After doing some research we decided to call and spoke with a service rep named Nathan. Nathan did a very good job explaining all of the options to us. Being the buyer of a new home, he offered us many cost affordable options from which to choose. Those options included 5 year, 10 year and 15 year options. Even the standard 1 year option was considerably lower than what we were paying on our prior policy.

Salesperson was very knowledgeable but a little pushy. A lot of info to take in and wanted to make an informed decision. Called back a few times for clarification and did purchase. Several emails followed to purchase a home warranty which was annoying after I committed to the program. Follow up phone calls from Fred were generally positive, however trying to understand all the details, he seemed to be more concerned about getting my credit card info than explaining questions. But very knowledgeable.

I just contracted Select Home Warranty for my home so as of now I cannot write how my service is but as far as the Agent who helped me she was very friendly and helpful, Thank You Belinda **!! I would recommend Belinda to all my friends and family. We have had three other Home Warranty Companies. Only one was great but when renewing it was very very pricey although I’ve always been told you get what you pay for and I’m praying this isn’t the case. I signed up for three years and paid in advance. I just hope this is my forever HOME Warranty Company!!!

Call today and talk to Richard ** for my home warranty. He was a great help for my needs and wants for coverage and got me all set up. Would recommend a friend that is looking for coverage as well. Thanks so much SHW and I hope that if I need repairs you guys will definitely help me as soon as possible unlike some companies that have you waiting days or weeks. Only thing I didn’t like is paying up front but still have to wait 30 days until coverage starts but with the Promotions that Richard give me it’s worth the wait. Thank you.

I was very happy with the technician and service. The washer dryer unit is running well now. Very unhappy with reimbursement as I have FULL policies on FOUR homes, including all services, appliances, and fixtures. The repair needed to be made, or else a new unit would have cost $1500.00. I would think you would have honored the entire amount of $550.00. In the past, I have been more than satisfied with your service, but this has put a sour taste in my mouth. I don't call for service unless something is broken beyond my repair, and I make sure and get maintenance on all my appliances and services. I would like you to reconsider the reimbursement amount as I am a good customer and would like to continue this service when my contracts are up, but I will be shopping it around if this type of reimbursement continues. Allstar Heat and Air came, looked at drain pan, emptied it, cleaned a pipe and never put any equipment to the unit to verify if that was the entire problem. I have my thermostat set at 68. It's 79 in the rooms furnished by that air conditions unit. Something is still not right. This is the first claim we have filed. The other you refused to come and even look. I have not filed anything and and am not sure I will renew. This company did as minimal as they could.

I recently closed on a new home, and the warranty allowance was provided by the seller. I couldn't determine if payment had been made by the title company. I called Select Home Warranty direct, and was easily connected to the correct department. The representative was able to locate and confirm the payment by referencing the property address, and took the time to forward me a copy of my new warranty policy via e-mail. Questions asked, answered, and resolved in a single, simple phone call - thank you!

Sprinkler system. The customer service agent was very thorough. He asked several time about the problem making sure all information was understood. He asked what type of system I had and at the time I wasn't near the system do I couldn't provide a serial number. That was okay. He informed me that I could call back later with the information. Very helpful young man. He told me that someone would call soon to set up an appointment.

The salesman was knowledgeable and effective. He was able to answer all of my questions and find the right fit for my family. The sales representative appeared to have a good grasp of the services he was able offer. The sales rep was intelligent. The sales representative was quick to call me and was able to answer my various queries. To be fair, my call was quite simple. I think he may get more complex situations. He quickly assessed the fact that I was a new home owner and got me the plan that will likely work the best for my family. I cannot speak to the product itself as I have not, yet, had a reason to use it. With that being said the sales rep seemed to know what he could, and more importantly, what he could not, offer me.

Mr. Bruce ** was our contact customer service salesperson, he helped us both me and my husband get the best available rates providing us a peace of mind for 2 of our properties. My water heater stopped working and I was without hot water. I had a plumber come look at it and was told it was unfixable and needed to be replaced. When I called Select Home Warranty customer service, I was told because it was leaking water, the warranty did not cover it. The water heater died on me, how is this not covered? Situations like this are exactly why I purchased a home warranty in the first place. Very disappointed, I will not be renewing my policy.

This has been the worst experience with a Home Warranty company. First of all more than 48 hours after the technician came to our home nothing was in the system about our problem. Secondly after I and my husband calling both SHW and Molinas AC neither did anything before had. I had to constantly call to get information and then it was only to find out that it's a scam. Pretty much every AC has an issue with Freon and this allows SHW to supersede the need to repair the actual issue. I will be reporting this to the BBB. This practice is completely unacceptable.

My electric gate stopped working this past week. I submitted my claim today. My first experience since getting the home warranty was good overall. They answered the phone promptly and once THE CLAIM WAS SUBMITTED the response was very quick. Unfortunately, my claim was denied because they stated the electric gate was on the outside of the house which would not be covered. Despite the claim denial, the experience was pleasant and hassle free.

Clothes dryer. The person who took my claim Abraham was awesome. Very knowable and polite. I was told what to expect and that is exactly what happen. Tech called within the 24 hours time frame. Show up within the time frame I was given. He didn’t complete the job because it needed a part that he didn’t have. I was told what the problem was and that he needed to contact Select Home to get an approval.

Tried to reach my salesperson, waited for long time, did not pick up, called back and resolution team took care of me, but didn't send the email they promised to do. I needed to call on day 2 and repeat the process. So not far very impressed. I hope if I need real help the process is better. Service not what I expected. On a positive note people are polite, but being transferred from one person to another and having to speak and repeat myself 4 times was a little much.

Alan was very informative and knowledgeable of the products. Extremely courteous and helpful, he took his time explaining and answering my questions. Several people called but Alan was the first and the only one to send me an email outlining all the plans and their the coverages. Very competent young man. Please give him a pay raise. I will recommend him and your company to friends and family. I did pay the whole premium upfront so I am covered for 14 months, stating 10 days from today, May 30, 2019.

Toilet not flushing. Emailed my problem Wednesday evening, someone contacted me within 30 minutes to review my service request. I received an email within 30 minutes of the call to review next steps. The following morning a technician called me to set a time to come out. Chris was out two hours later. He was very friendly (and nice to my dog). Problem was fixed in 15 minutes, before 1 pm. Less than 24 hours after my request. Very happy.

So far I have submitted a couple of claims. I had a small amount of trouble getting a technician out to my house on the first claim and on the second claim I had to find my own provider because they were backed up. It would’ve taken too long. I am still in the process of getting reimbursed but I believe that they will not give me a problem about it. All in all I am satisfied, however I do believe that they could improve as far as the availability of technicians goes.

Jonathan was great! He was easy to understand and explained all the options available for me to make the best choice. He made me comfortable in moving forward with a home protection plan for my rental based on the coverage, cost, and discounts. I feel at ease knowing that I have coverage for services and appliances if anything were to happen. Best of all, I'm thrilled that I can request service 24/7, which is very important to me in emergency situations. The cost made it possible for me to obtain coverage for all four of my properties. Also, now that I'm retired, I can focus on having fun, instead of putting more time than necessary on home and rental issues.

Valve for GE refrigerator ice maker. We used home page to submit our issue yesterday. Waiting to hear back from y'all. Expecting nothing less than great customer service. We called a local appliance repair company to have them come out to see what part we would need to get our ice maker running again. The reason we need our ice maker is to have ice to my wife's right knee as she had it replaced last Wednesday. I don't want to continue to have to buy ice. Thanks.

I submitted a claim for the icemaker/water dispenser on my refrigerator as it has a loose wire that is keeping the ice machine from making ice and water from dispensing. I am paying for my refrigerator to be covered as a part of my policy, but am being told that my icemaker is not covered. The icemaker/water dispenser is not separate from my refrigerator and affects the functionality of the refrigerator and until today, I have never been told that the icemaker/water dispenser was not part of my refrigerator coverage.

I requested new service and spoke with a very knowledgeable and professional person who answered clearly all my questions and provided what I consider to be a fair deal. Zachary was familiar with all aspects of the programs offered and worked with me to arrange competitive coverage for my seven homes. I would recommend Zachary and indeed this company to anyone. The ability for pre-pay up to 5 years and to receive a substantially discounted cost is very attractive.

My water coming from my bathroom tub faucet is brown in color. I am being told this is a maintenance and is not covered. Just disappointed with response and quality of service. My first experience with using this plan contract. The unit is 20 years old, I just don't want unit to fail. I doubt I will be renewing the contract in the future. I don't have anything else to say, but just so disappointed with my first experience in using the coverage.

Covers appliances, systems, roof repair, peace of mind that things will be repaired when they breakdown at no additional cost over the rate as described. Rate is excellent especially for seniors like me. Not sure what else I should say. I like the fact that the warranty is transferrable when we sell the house or that we can take it with us. Mostly likely we will not ever sell or leave the house. As we've gotten older we can no longer do a lot of things that usually need to be done when you own a house. Does this warranty cover the garage (not attached to house… at least not yet)?

The price, extra months, coverage, adjusting payments was a huge driving factor in deciding to go with Select! Value, value, value, value!!!! He worked hard to understand my needs, and he provided me with a plan that met both my budget and concerns about what would be covered. I researched 3 different home warranty companies to replace my current policy. I filled out their quote forms online and compared prices. Now I work in an office that does not allow personal phones, so can only check my messages a couple of times a day on breaks or lunch. I had no less than 14 missed calls from representatives of all 3 of those companies, but only Jeff ** from Select Home Warranty was thoughtful enough to leave me a voice mail with his direct number. He got my business. While I can not comment of the quality of service I receive from Select Home Warranty yet because the policy is not yet in force, at least this representative impressed me.

The Salesperson did a great job explaining the benefits, coverage and made signing up very easy. I had my contract within 10 minutes of signing up. It made me feel good about choosing Select Home for my warranty. Having the security of having a home warranty puts us at ease. You never know when something is going to break! Select Home Warranty is rectifying the situation as the first contractor that came out overcharged us and did not complete the job. The Claims dept and Contractor Services have been very helpful. We are still pending a resolution, but we know everything is being done to fix our appliance. We will send a follow up review once the work is complete, and the appliance has been working. Select Home Warranty is a good company to work with for home warranty.

We had the pleasure of speaking with Bruce. He helped us set up a home warranty on our house. He was so helpful in answering our questions, explaining options and getting us the best deal he could. He also explained the 3 year contract with added 6 months which is a wonderful plan. Our garage door would not work. I pulled my Select policy, went online and made my claim. I received a return call from Select within 6 hrs. I reviewed the confirmation and now waiting for the technician to contact me. My interaction with the customer service folks was excellent and they were clear about how the actions for this order would be completed. This is my first claim since I changed our home warranty plan. I believe Select Home Warranty is a good fit with our needs. The copay is $55 less than our previous service.

Purchase was clear, simple, and fast. Award winning product and excellent service from Jacob! I purchased this plan for a rental property, and needed it to be transferrable. Jacob was very responsive, quick and professional. He answered all my questions and closed the deal quickly. Then he followed up by sending the documentation within minutes! This is a reputable company with several plans to choose from. Competitive pricing, and incentives for additional months free. This is the type of company I like to do business with.

My contract was ending at the end of June and I had to renew my plan. I was only able to renew for month to month because the original plan was paid for during the closing of my house. The man was very persistent in wanting me to pay full price which was not in my budget at the time. I never received an email stating that the renewal was coming up. So I was only able to do month to month because that is what was in my budget for the time. I will try to make sure I have more available for my renewal next year.

He adequately covered all my questions which made the process easier. I was also appreciative that he alerted me of a special $100 savings that was extended from Memorial Day. I have placed a total of 4 claims with Select Home Warranty over 2 years. They offered me 100 for a disposal, $150 for REPLACEMENT of an air conditioner and $175 for a Bosch dishwasher, now $95 for microwave. Ridiculously cheap. Also sent a repair guy who showed up in a car with no window and a huge burn mark on the hood, driven by a woman who sat in the car while he was in the house. I looked him up and saw he had been charged with stealing checks and forgery.

Within the matter of 24 hrs the customer service has already been verifying problem with me and sending a plumbing team out. Select is the only way to go. They are price are very fair and quality services. I have no idea why do I have to keep writing for another 75 words but surely I will keep it going. I switched from 2-10 not because they did a bad job, I switched only because of the price and the duration of my house will be covered. Select offered me hella outta a rate.

Salesperson (Jonathan) was very knowledgeable about services and very easy to talk to. This co. had several features included in their plans that others did not. I was given a discount also for purchasing more than 1 yr, Nice bonus. Also liked the fact that I was able to lock in price for later. Very satisfied overall. I called and was told that they would put the order in for someone to come look at my ice maker. Unfortunately there is always a trick. Although they were nice and courteous they said that they would not cover it because it was not on the initial purchase of the home warranty product. I wish there wasn't so much hidden verbiage in the contract. This is the 1st job I turned in and yet I was turned down. I hope we are not disappointed in this home warranty company.

Select Warranty wasn’t able to get a contractor assigned right away to address a leaking water heater, but followed up to let us know we could use our own contractor in order to save time. We are able to get someone out for repair or replacement and submit the invoice to Select for reimbursement. We are pleased that they continued to reach out after the claim was submitted. Hopefully the repairs will be covered by the warranty.

I have always enjoyed working with Select Home Warranty. They are friendly and always have tried to provide a great value. Today, there was some issue with miscommunication today and I was charged $499, as opposed to $399 for the one year warranty. Also, I was told I would be charged $45 for the service fee, as normal but the contract stated $60. Otherwise, the rest of the transaction went well. In April I made a request to have my stove serviced because a burner was not lighting. It took them assigning 3 different technicians before one said they were willing to come out. End of that story is we are now at the end of May and our stove is still not fixed. Our water heater stopped working on Saturday. They have assigned 3 different technicians to service it. These technicians report the same thing the first two did for my stove. They do not provide services for Select Home Warranty because they are a poor company to work with and do NOT pay the technicians. On there third attempt to assign a technician for my water heat they did not even assign a plumber, which is required.
When you call them they read from a script and cannot answer questions. If you ask for a manager they tell you, “I can connect you but they will tell you same thing.” They tell you that you can find your own technician but then you have to pay the full fee for them to come out rather than the contracted $60. Then you have to get the service approved for them to pay. Given that all the technicians have reported that their company is unreliable, I am concerned that I will NOT get reimbursed. Plus Select Home Warranty got my money and not filled their contract. When I asked about getting my policy reimbursed at the full amount, they said it would be prorated plus a fee. Again I loose because they will not fulfill the contract.

Bought a home warranty and they didn't deliver the information until I call 2 times to ask for it. They send it a month into my warranty. They didn't cover some things and when I call to cancel they just charge me and a pro-rated amount too. They are not a good company. Be aware of the business that they are.

My customer service rep was Ben and he was very patient and kind. If all the information he gave me bears out over the next year, he would get a 5 star for Customer Service. We do have a broken dishwasher and I opened a claim with Select over the phone. I got contacted by a contractor within 2 hrs of opening the claim. Contractor showed up promptly on the agreed time; diagnosed the issue and filed a report. Contractor was very polite and professional. He had a badge and a uniform... Next day my claim was approved. I got contacted by the contractor once again; he ordered the parts and fix it promptly... Overall I have a great experience.. Good job.

Rep was very informative and helpful throughout the entire process. Answered all questions and concerns. Haven’t used the service calls yet but coverage is excellent for price when compared to other choices. I will continue to maintain a home warranty for all my homes with service like this though. Rep did not pressure us into purchase if it wasn’t right for us. If looking for a home warranty, be sure to know what it covers and all costs upfront. That was a huge factor for us when purchasing this plan, it covered everything we wanted and then some.

I just signed up to receive Select Home Warranty service. I spoke with Richard and he was very efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. He made sure I received all available discounts (to my knowledge), including a reduced service call fee for military service. The sign up process was much more efficient than I expected. I haven't had any service issues yet but I have high hopes that any maintenance service will be excellent. If not, customer service gave me a direct number to call.

My claim was denied. I was informed that the fixtures were not part of the plumbing system, so leaking shower controls were covered under another add-on for 49,95. I read my contract and plumbing fixtures were not specifically excluded. When I originally signed up, no exclusion or extra coverage was mentioned. It seems that the first order of business for Select is to find grounds to deny a claim, Not good. People on the phone are very nice and seemingly helpful. I am worrying about what I will face next time.

The sales guy that called me was very helpful and understood my needs. It is nice to have someone local call you when you ask for help. I hate trying to translate what they are saying to me into English. They tried to get me the best deal that they could and worked with me to get what I needed. Thanks for understanding your customer and making it all work for me. The platinum care is an outstanding coverage plan and covers almost anything that you would expect to have to replace that is at the price of the plan or more. I have peace of mind now knowing that if the A/C goes out that I don't have to shell out 3-5 thousand dollars to fix the unit.

My unit needed Freon I have been paying this company for months only to find out I didn’t have Freon coverage. They hardly cover anything. If you read the fine print don’t waste your money. I canceled. Going back to American Home Shield. Yes their price may be a bit higher but they are honest. This company is a joke. I would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy reliable company.

Just trying to confirm the max. amount of coverage for my heating and air condition should I ever need service. Section 10.1 says $2,000.00 is the max but I am being told under Notes $11K aggregated overrides section 10.1. Overall I have been pleased so far with the purchase of the policy but remember I just bought it 2 weeks ago. Thanks for your help with this and my question. I called in on the phone to get this question answered and spoke to 2 different people and they both say the same thing yet the way the policy is written it is confusing.

After being hung up on twice this rep has kept me on hold for 30 minutes so far without coming back to say anything. I'll keep holding to see how long it takes him to come back. Called credit card to stop payment. Rep never did return. Really bad customer service. Will report to BBB. Read contract paragraph 9.1.2. This could have been avoided with better customer service... Very disappointed with this experience.

My old home warranty was up for renewal so I wanted to check out and compare some other home warranty companies out there. So I did some homework, read some reviews and checked out some packages. I liked what I had seen so I made the call talked to a representative and made a decision to go with Select Home Warranty Company. I just started the policy so I haven't had to make a claim yet, but hopefully they're as good as advertised.

I enrolled in the Select Home Warranty VIP membership 4 days ago and when I received the contract details I was disturbed about some of the wording, and I was ready to cancel service if it couldn't be changed. When I call Select I was eventually transferred to Jeremy **, Executive Supervisor for the VIP Platinum Division. He put my mind at ease by adding an addendum to my contract satisfying my concern over some wording and, as a consequence, I changed my mind about canceling the service. Jeremy was to me what exceptional customer service is all about -- SERVICE.

I purchased policies for home, cottage, pool, septic, etc. all was fine when I paid annual in full upfront, so long as I never filed claim. I had to even locate repair/service providers because of existing bad reputation with local professional service providers. So don’t believe they have all these providers all set up! If they don’t pay the service providers on prior jobs, they still will tell you they have Schumer your job, but no one shows up... When the truth comes out you will be left like I was, calling and calling and get the runaround! I was never provided actual policy, yet quoted policies as reasons why they wouldn’t pay or only pay small amount on a claim I had for plumbing and pool heater.
I finally was fed up with stalls and misrepresentation I cancelled. Well that was another nightmare. Finally after deliberate delays which cost me more monthly proration, I was refunded only part of what I paid. I sent an email to the supervisor that finally guaranteed partial cancellation refund back to March to inform him I was shorted another $100. Monthly proration because another supervisor said he never actually cancelled policies. I have had no reply to my request to get the missing refund. I assume their attitude is I should be lucky they gave me any of my money back so be happy with being cheated. These delays are their procedure so don’t trust you will get what you pay for. I no longer believe the positive results that show so many stars by Consumer Affairs. I don’t believe I am the only one these guys lied too.

SELECT HOME WARRANTY IS A DISHONEST COMPANY. Do yourself a favor. Save your money and stress knowing that you being fool by trusting this SCAM COMPANY. Stay away from SELECT HW. They do not have technicians as they claim. Also that few companies that accept SHW are dishonest like them. They only collect the service fee which it will not cover the part that is just for diagnostic (some can give you this for free) and then they tell you they will contact you to let you know what is your part and what SHW will cover. Furthermore, they sent companies without checking their license.
I have three properties and 2 are with CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. We have made several calls in one of our rental property and they honor what they advertise. If the item is cover they collect the fee $45 and the rest is paid by CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. Please do not make the mistake I made. I am so glad I only tried them for 1 year and it is the house where we live. Since we do take care of our property I only call them once but enough to discover SELECT HOME WARRANTY IS A SCAM. I lost 375.00 plus the calling fee $45 but I will post this bad review everywhere to avoid people making rich a dishonest company. I am a real customer so please believe me. Stay away from SELECT HOME WARRANTY. Only their website have fake reviews. This was my mistake. Checked the reviews on their website but check Yelp and others to find out more about this company.

Incredibly unprofessional. They have a million "caveats" that cover them so that you dont get your appliances fixed. You just continue to pay multiple times the deductible. I have been without a/c now for almost 2 weeks, with a rare cardiac condition that doesnt allow me to handle the heat - and I live in Florida. They are not approving my a/c claim bc I didnt have a maintenance record of a company coming to change my filters monthly??? Like screwing in a light bulb - call an electrician?
My dishwasher was the first thing that went wrong and they sent a company here that was from 1 1/2 hours away. Two men showed up at my door after 9pm - no call, just showed up, no business card, hand written invoice with their phone number - which they had to scratch and correct. They didnt come back within time frame that they chose. They missed multiple appts they made, long and short dishwasher still wasn't working. When I called SHW back they said I had to pay again for the company to come out - I said I didnt want them in my home again. However thats who they had call and they expected payment again for a problem they didnt correctly fix. No my a/c. They are a scam, they find EVERY loophole NOT TO PAY. As a realtor who buys these for clients, I thank God I didnt buy anything from them! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I inquired about a home warranty online and got my quote. After I had some questions regarding the coverage. I called in and spoke with a gentlemen who didn’t seem like he knew what he was talking about. So I hung up on him as I received a text at the same time from another sales rep. I spoke with the new rep Abraham and he was very knowledgeable right off the bat. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the prior person. Abraham helped me out and I was happy. Where I rated at 4 stars was the closing of the purchase. Abraham became very pushy with trying to upsell me. I appreciate the upsell offer and the price with it but it was already a stretch for me to purchase a year today. I would have like to have seen him not be as pushy. It came of very rude and almost made me cancel the whole purchase.

Just bought a house with no pre-existing conditions found by the home inspector, and as part of the closing the seller threw in a home warranty. A few days after moving in, the furnace started having issues and I thought, "Good thing I have a home warranty in place!" I filed a claim but it was rejected with the comment, "This policy only covers issues that start after the 30 day wait period has ended." So essentially you're paying for 12 months of service but only getting 11, since the first month you can't actually get any service. Very dissatisfied and will definitely not be renewing my policy at the end of this contract.

Alan ** from Select Home Warranty helped me today provide a Home Warranty for the buyers of our house in Rockford, Illinois. He was diligent in his communication (he texted, emailed, and returned my calls). He offered a policy that included all of the mechanicals of the house. It also included all of the appliances in the home. Beyond that, he was able to help me find a "leak protection" for the roof. The amount of coverage was perfect, and the cost extremely reasonable. Please discussion with appropriate but polite efforts to offer longer term plan at a reduced annual rate but higher initial payment. He allowed me to put him on hold while I took another call as well as later when I discussed options with my wife. He made several efforts to 'close the deal' and was able to do so to my satisfaction. He was able to add 2 additional months as well as the 'roof included' portion of this policy with also the ability to cancel and be reimbursed remainder of the policy.

Their coverage seems good and their customer service reps were very friendly and helpful and answered all of the questions that I had. Customer service did an extremely good job explaining the plans over the customer service phone. Right now, I can't provide any additional review about the service or the overall coverage because I just bought the three years plan which seems to have the cheapest service fee on the market (forty-five dollars per visit). I already received the contract through email explaining all the coverage by item and the maximum allowed per repair. I hope to have a good experience if I need to use the warranty repair.

I spoke with David ** today. He explained all the different plans of coverage. Where I would save more per year by selecting a five year plan. Unfortunately, I'm on a fixed income and could only pay for the yearly plan. David was very helpful and knowledgeable, he took his time explaining each yearly plan and the amount of savings I would receive. He tried to get me some savings but I could not afford to spend any more from my budget. He knows his subject matter.

I have been without my air since Sunday night. I submitted a claim on Monday morning and today is Thursday and still do not have a servicer assigned. Every time I call for an update, I get the same response that it can take 24-48 hrs to have a servicer assigned. One servicer was assigned and when I called to schedule appointment, they told me that they do not service where I live and that they have told your company that multiple times. My children have asthma which with the heat causes it to act up as well as I have heart issues.
This is not the first time I have had this issue with your company either. Last time I submitted a claim it was a disaster. I am at the point now, I am going to start looking for another home warranty company as I am not confident this will not happen again. Your customer service agents were rude and over talking me as well as 2 of them hung up on me or placed me on hold for over 20 mins. I do not feel that a customer should be treated like that.

I was short on time being that I was at work and very busy. I chose to speak with the rep (hoping it would be brief), and to my surprise I completed the entire process in less than 10 minutes. Although I tried to rush off the phone, I was pleased I didn't hang up and finished listening to the available plans. The representative explained three different options to me in detail, which made it much easier to make a decision and I feel comfortable with the decision I've made. I am still awaiting the service to be done so it is hard to rate this at this time. However, with it being extremely hot outside and needing someone to look at my unit it is very alarming that it is taking this long for someone to come out. If someone could please come out soon to check out my unit, I would be very grateful. Also, I have voiced my concerns over and over about Miracle Heating and Cooling, that company should NOT be allowed to come to anyone’s home. Initiate a claim to have my microwave to be repaired. The customer service representative was very professional and addressed my concerns. He informed me that unfortunately the repairs cost more than the microwave itself. Therefore, a cash reimbursement was given for the cost of my microwave to purchase another one. My claim was completed within two days. I received a detailed information on what was the next step to proceed with my claim. Select Home Warranty sent a technician out to service my claim. The company/technician showed up to my house, diagnosed my claim and took my deductible. I never heard back from them. I called Select Home Warranty, explained what happened and they quickly dispatched another company/technician. The customer service agent made notes on the previous company/technician and apologized for the inconvenience. The customer service agent was also very nice and very helpful. I would recommend Select Home Warranty to a friend at this point.

My uncle has the same service with Select in his home in Florida and New York. This service is very valuable and it has saved him from some costly repairs on multiple occasions. He convinced me to get the same service to have a peace of mind. And I definitely don’t have to do worry about how I’m going to fix anything that can possible go wrong with appliances, plumbing, electrical and roof leaks. This is definitely a no brainer insurance to your home repairs.

I got issues with the roof that was leaking. I called in the customer service to get fixed. Assigned company Caine to take pics but no response for date for getting fixed for the roof. I call many times and finally came two weeks later. People from the company who are not licensed professional people rather hired through friend (nonspeaking English people) or something. They fixed wrong, now I have to wait them to come back to area that not cover by roof. One area is not covered but naked and put some silicon on it. It was professional at all. I complain to Select company about it and but they tell me give one more shot or I have to find and pay and sending in receipt plus new service fee. Well they are trying I have some concerns about the roof company.

Representative was calm and collected even though I was very frustrated about my situation and took it out on him. He managed to maintain his professionalism even while dealing with a less than cooperative homeowner. He is to be commended. He was able to collect my claim information and successfully submit it to dispatch in a timely manner as evidence by the confirmation email that I received shortly after finishing my call. As of today I have received neither. This tells me that the company does not back up the training given to their salespeople which is a major issue with me. I'm switching from American Home Shield to Select Home Warranty in order to save money. No complaints about AHS (48 years in business). I checked out Select Home Warranty on the BBB and found out the company was rated B. Then I checked its largest competitor, Choice Home Warranty rated B-. I was sold. My customer service representative was Richard **. Richard ensured that I received a military veteran's discount which I didn't even expect but graciously accepted.

Every time I call your company you always find a way that this is not in the service contract.. This is not what I was told before I paid.. I am going to American Home Shield when my contract is up.. I called a few other companies to see if I would get a better quote but this has been the best quote I have received. The enrollment process was very easy and effortless. One critique I would make to the representative is not speak so fast. I would suggest he slow down a bit and give the potential customer an opportunity to ask questions and not feel as if he is trying to make a quick sale. This could be a turn off for some people. They had fast answers and a willingness to help me solve my refrigerator problem. I am currently waiting on my technician to schedule an appointment with me but as far as answering the phone and getting the claim started it was as easy as it could possibly be. My only concern is they could not answer my question as to repair of replacement coverage, like as far as how much they covered. But I do understand they do not want to promise it would be covered without it previously being looked at by a licensed experienced technician. So other than that little glitch the lady I spoke with was kind, polite, very understanding and professional. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me as I continued to ask her a bunch of questions, this is my first claim with them so I’m nervous.

Select Home Warranty processed our online claim and helped provide resolution to our Sprinkler problem. We added on the lawn coverage to our policy since it added great value! The overall process took a few more days than anticipated to fix: we submitted the claim on the 13th, an assessment was made by a contacting company on the 17th and our claim was approved up to a specific dollar amount by Select Home Warranty on the 22nd, we’ll now schedule the work with the Contractor to be done. In the meantime, hopefully it will rain this week so our grass does not get too dry early in in the season.

If I could give no stars I would. This company is a scam. They take your money and then do not care from there. Companies they have working for them are incompetent. They say get your own second opinion and then do everything in their power to not pay for anything. It is always 24-48 hours. It has been over a month and I live in Arizona with my house not cooling properly. I honestly feel like all the reviews are fake. Go to the BBB and read the real reviews. I chose them because I thought it was a good company. My husband is in renal failure and doing dialysis at home and has all of his medication in our room and it is hot. The duct system is old and has holes causing the air to escape and not go where it needs to. My room being the main area. My AC is less than a year old.
After over a month of sending pictures they denied the claim because the crushed ducts. NOTHING in any of the pictures or video I sent show a crushed duct system and the technician also told them it was holed due to age.They did not want to cover it and made up lies and procrastinated. I should have chose someone else. Now I have to come up with the money for repair and figure out how to pay my husband's medical bills. This is why I had a home warranty. I had Old Republic before and never had any issues after you purchase the policy and there is an issue. Every time you call in you go all over the world. No one speaks proper English and no one wants to help. They just keep repeating 24-48 hours. Do your research. It is a scam company. i do plan on hiring an attorney and going to every news station that i can. They need to be shut down.

Select Home Warranty had great customer service and great pricing. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry and very friendly on the phone. We were referred by someone who says their customer service is also great when making a claim. I would recommend them to others for a home warranty. Jeff was our agent and he was very quick and helpful. He gave us timeframes to expect a response and stuck to those. We had callback number if we didn't receive an email and someone answered the phone.

The guy who spoke with was concise and a good salesman the only problem I had was I never received my email about my coverage. I had to email and wait a few days. I think this should’ve been sent automatically. It kind of left me guessing about whether you guys are legit or not. I also think people who have HOA that covers some of the stuff you do that we should get a discount.

Was helpful and courteous and got a complete description of the problem of repair. The representative made sure by repeating the problem so she did not make any mistakes of what issues I was having with my pump. She made sure she had all the correct information on location of pump and when I could expect a call from a tech and made sure the callback information was correct as well as email. I received a return call promptly after completing the quote request online. The representative had a very professional attitude and was able to present some additional savings options over the phone that were interesting to me that I did not see on the website. Salesman was very nice and provided additional discounts that were appreciated. However, he continued to push harder than I was comfortable with to extend the contract even further. Also promised a direct phone number I did not receive in the first or send email after the sales call. Having to pay for everything right now is a bummer. Also a purchase decision must be made on the spot. Would not allow me to think on it overnight or discuss between my wife and I for more than ten minutes. If you can offer me this price today, it is ridiculous that that same price is not available for a 24 hour period.

I was very impressed with how easy and quick it was to renew my home warranty. I am very happy that I am actually paying less now than I was in the past. I am pleased with having a three year contract with the six months free. Mark was very helpful in my decision making for the home warranty package that I purchased. After the claim was submitted, we received an email telling us that we need to call the customer service to provide the information that were required for the claim. The way that the representative was handled is in a professional way. After all the information was provided, we received an email notifying the status of the claim. The representative I spoke with immediately understood the problem I was having with the initial contractor who did not return my calls and, therefore, I was unable to schedule the repairs needed on my garage door opener. The representative also tried to contact the initial contractor; however, since he also was unable to do so, he immediately had our order reassigned to a new/different contractor. Upon receiving a call from the new contractor we anticipate being able to promptly schedule a home visit to fix the problem with the garage door. We were very impressed with the promptness of the representative in handling this matter and getting our order reassigned to a different company.

He was very polite and clear on what the warranty offered. It was hassle free. When I called I did not have to wait long to speak to someone. I had called a few other companies and this one by far exceeded my expectations. The policy covered more items like the washer and dryer and refrigerators that other companies would not cover unless I upgraded to the platinum or upgraded version that would cost the buyer more. This package had a discount and included two extra months for the same price. Other companies would only offer it for an additional cost.

Jen, was very helpful. She called the serviceman because I could not reach him. His recorder said he was not taking calls at this time. Not something a customer wants to hear. The repair of my washer is now being further delayed because he now wants a trip charge since he lives 25 miles away from me. Something Select Home Warranty will have to ok.. I guess I'm not real happy with the speed of this service. I'm glad it wasn't my icebox needing repaired. Hopefully things will get worked out and I can get the repairman soon.

I currently have a warranty plan with other company which I have had for almost five years. I was shopping around to see what other companies offered. Select Home Warranty has a better rate and discounts I took advantage of. You offer much more and with a much better price. David was very helpful and honest. When asked about price increases after my initial term, he said that he could not make any guarantees. He did offer that 85% of customers continued with them! Hope all works well for me as I am retiring this year. Hopefully I won't have to look again any further. I have already recommended you to a friend who owns multiple properties.

I am a returning Select Home Warranty customer. I purchased a warranty for a home I was selling in 2016, and I just purchased my second Select Home Warranty for a home I am purchasing. I contacted Select and was connected to Allen **. Allen was very helpful. He went over all of the different type of plans and did a great job explaining all the benefits of the Platinum Plan, including the option of adding on roof leak coverage. He was very thorough explaining how the policy coverage worked as well as explaining how to file a claim.
Allen also did a great job informing me about the three and five year upgrade options. He was very detailed in helping me understand how purchasing multi-year coverage would save me a lot of money. I was able to make an informed purchase without feeling any sales pressure. Because of my previous experience and especially my experience today with Allen, I will continue to choose Select Home Warranty for my home coverage needs as well as recommend Select to others who are looking for home warranty coverage.

4/23/19 – SHW assigned a request for service on my refrigerator to Speedy Appliance. 5/2/19 – “Speedy” repair recommending replacing the main control panel. I paid the $45.00. Speedy did not submit paperwork asking for approval of repairs. 5/13/19 – SHW reassigned service request to Lacrosse Home Service. 5/16/19 – Lacrosse Home Service came and wrote a service order stating that the compressor needs to be replace. It is stated on the service order that there was NO FREON LEAK. No mention of a condensation leak or a water line leak. Therefore the compressor should be covered under my policy. 5/21/19 - I have repeatedly called and sent emails with no results from SHW. I am at my wits' end!!! I believe this has gone on long enough and I have tried to be very patient. Is this the way SHW conducts business with their clients????

I was very pleased with his knowledge and helpful information about the product I purchased. He 'up-sold' the product without pressuring me into an even longer contract, which I appreciate!

I purchased the Platinum warranty service. After several months on the plan my 2 yr old Samsung washer starting working improperly. I set up a service request with no problems. The appliance company that Select Home sent out came to service my washer but stated parts needed to be ordered; and I paid my $75 required service fee. NEVER heard back from the repairman. And Select Home could never get in touch with him so after about 2 weeks going back and forth with Select Home who could not find anyone in my area to fix Samsung brand washers; THEY suggested my other option was to find a repair company myself and get reimbursed.
I asked OVER and OVER again, "Will I get ALL of my money back?" "Yes" was my answer from them. And they also said I would be reimbursed the $75 service fee from the 1st company. After I secured a company who fixed my washer it came out to $300. I submitted my original invoice and Select Home now only wants to reimburse me $150! And nothing from my $75 previously. Very deceiving and poor communication! I am LIVID!!

I submitted a claim online for my AC unit that the inside fan unit is not working. I was emailed and asked to call asking for more information about the AC unit. I called back and within a minute I had someone on the line getting the additional information needed. The manufacturer of the actual unit was needed and the location of the unit in the house was needed as well. I provided the information that was needed. I was then told that I would be receiving another email with a AC repair company name of who to contact and then schedule a time for repair with them.

Got a plumbing leak repaired through Select Home Warranty, and it was a painless process. I contacted Select Home Warranty online and they responded within 12 hours, scheduling an appointment with a plumber the following day. The service they selected called the next day when he was 10 minutes out, and arrived on time. The leak was found, the correct parts were on hand, and the problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes. Outstanding service. Five stars.

If this were AC or a problem that need immediate service I am afraid they would not come out in a timely manner. Being without AC for 4-5 days would not be acceptable. Losing everything in the refrigerator can be costly as well. I hope they can get out as soon as possible. The service is very reasonably priced and the person I talked to was great.

Our air conditioning was not working. We submitted a claim online the process was very easy and quick. We received a call very shortly after submitting the online claim from the company who accepted the claim and the technician was able to schedule us within a reasonable time. Select warranty is the best in the marketplace. Great policy coverage. Customer service has been cordial and helpful. I have had this coverage from Select for three years. The incentives for extra months free vs the investment is worth it. Compared to the other competitors this is the most comprehensive and complete for the value. I have owned policies by two other competitors, the coverage was not comparable to Select with less coverage. I will renew when it's time. The customer service person I spoke with today about the air being out he really helped. He advised me it would be up to 48 hours and that I could find a local technician to diagnose. When I purchased a warranty from (Select Home Warranty) I was actually trying to get in touch with Home Shield Warranty. The first time I tried to use Select Home Warranty was when my refrigerator went out and I was very excited that I have a warranty to call. Little did I know that this company is a nightmare to deal with. My refrigerator went out and they offered me $206. I have been calling this place for two weeks asking to speak with a member of management and they refuse to let me speak to anybody above the customer service rep. (DO NOT BUY Select home warranty) It sounds good when they sell it to you but it is horrible when you need it.

The heating and air company workers kept us informed of when they would arrive. They kept in contact by text to keep us updated of any delays. They were pleasant to work with and kept us informed. The associate David was very polite, efficient and professional in describing the Home Select Warranty plan with me. He answered all my questions and was most informative. However once purchased, in reading the contract I wasn’t aware that I may have to pay an additional fee over the house call fee of $60.00. So in that regards I wasn’t very happy. I touched upon the website and 4 minutes later the price was cut to 37.50 per month which seems fair with a 60.00 service call fee. I know if I use this once or twice it pays for the entire year. Appliances now do not last 20 years! I have a matching Samsung washer/dryer set that within a year needed a heating element and the washer was recalled. I like that the furnace and some electrical and plumbing are included as well as roof leaks. You never know what you will be charged. This way you do!

Select Warranty is no good. After trying to get service for 1st time on an AC repair, they proved to be of no service. They decided to allow me $150 toward the fixing of my unit. Then within a couple days fabricated that maintenance was not covered. Home Select should go out of business and stop taking our money for promises that that don't intend to honor/keep. The worst company I've known of. Please Warn others of their poor services. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. 0 Rated.

Alan offered me a multi year policy discount and that was awesome. I couldn't find that deal online or with other providers. The representative was very courteous and answered all my questions. I have very old appliances and central air and heating units. The representative assured me that those would be covered and would be replaced if needed if they fail during the coverage period of 6 years! I also changed my policy multiple times in 24 hours and Alan called me back and ensured that I was 100% satisfied.
I would recommend this to everyone looking at the cost and value received. I also recommend the platinum coverage that covers everything. Rates and coverage seems much better than the utility companies. However, I haven't have had any claim experience yet but everything looks good on paper. Alan was very fast and he also set up my policy to start at a later date (my move in date). This is a new house purchase and I am very happy that everything is covered from day 1.

Refrigerator not making ice or water and light not working. I had to put in a claim and found out that it was not a part of my current warranty. Therefore, I called the toll free line to have it added to my warranty. The customer service agent was difficult to communicate with and he disconnected with me several times in which I had to call back and wait to speak to another representative. This was a big inconvenience.

I'm a new customer & received my COVERAGE details via email & it reflects an inaccurate AMOUNT/Payment. I paid $399.99 on 5/17/19 with an additional $325.00 due on 6/18/19 & $325.00 due on 7/18/19. Al has escalated this for me to obtain an updated Policy Coverage Detail sheet only. The call was handled with professionalism and he was very understanding. I am only waiting for the updated sheet and a followup phone call now. I was advised by Al to allow 24-48 hours for this process to be completed. So far, Customer Service gets an A+!

They are always very professional and responsive. Not many providers will respond 24/7 and that is what I liked about this company as well as their competitive prices. I called due to value and coverage. I ended up saving even more once I confirmed. Plus I got extra months of coverage due to a promotion that was running. They had great customer service as well which made my transaction even more pleasant. This is my first time dealing with this company, as I was with another one previously. I am looking forward to doing business with them and if this is any indication, it will be worth it.

They are very quick and gave me a really good price. Very quick in getting me a response. The call center for claims are very quick in getting my service contractor emailed to me. I am please with the service so far and would recommend them. I have renewed my contract because of my past experience with them. I also am please that they lowered my deductible. The price is very competitive with others. I did my research with other competitors and so far Select Home home warranty is the most competitive.

It took two attempts to file a claim since the first attempt ended up blaming my plumbing on my broken water heater! The second attempt was successful in convincing your call center that the problem was the failed water heater and NOT MY PLUMBING! We will see if my opinion changes after the replacement water heater is installed. I'm not impressed so far. You people need to be reminded that you work for us... not the other way around. There are plenty of companies like yours out there.

The agent Called me within 24 hours, early the next day since I submitted on a Sunday, of my submitting my claim to say my claim was in process and she was sending my claim to dispatch who will contact me within 48 hours. They Asked if there was anything further I needed and Apologized for the difficulty I was experiencing. She Was pleasant and wished me a good day and lucky for me spoke clearly in understandable English. I’m awaiting a technician hopefully it’s an easy fix on my nonfunctioning air conditioner.

Select Home Warranty gave me peace of mind!! Love your service and company. I have been looking around for home warranties for quite a while and was referred to your company by a friend. She just purchased a new home and also bought a warranty with you all. I was worried to have to replace an appliance and a major system because it is so expensive and this warranty gave me peace of mind to not have to worry about coming up with a crazy amount of money at one time to replace one of those.

I returned a call regarding late payment after I had made my final payment. Your representative put me on hold while looking up my account. The representative returned, after a short time to inform me the call had been placed to me in error. The representative apologized for the inconvenience and the erroneous call, but couldn't explain why I received such a call. He followed up by sending my Select contract which I requested because I had not received it prior to making this particular request.

Select tech came out. Said I need to replace a leaking water heater. I call Select. They said they don't replace water heaters that leak. I called another outside plumber, they lit the pilot light. They also stated the setting was placed on warm, that's why the water was not getting hot. I did not need to replace water heater. They flushed out and changed out a valve. All Cost me $449. I should get reimbursed by Select.

So far, so good. Not so when we used American Home Shield. With AHS, everything was a losing battle with them. Hopefully I'll be hearing from a repair service wanting to set up an appointment very soon. I'm so ready for garage door openers to work again.

I contacted Select Home Warranty. My boyfriend and I are looking for a home warranty program. David initially quoted us 499.00. I made a huge mistake by giving him my cc. I conferenced in my boyfriend and David told us about special offers we could have for 2500. For 5 years... We told him he we would think about it. He called me back twice and left a voicemail that he went ahead and charged my card the original 499.00... without my approval. I called back twice after being disconnected the first call and spoke to a supervisor who said there was no charge pending. I informed him that the actions by David (more interested in a sale) and not customer service - said he charged my card. This is a shady and poor way to do business. They lost a sale due to the sales rep agreed in getting commission versus customer service. Very shady and buyer beware. Bad business!!! Do not get a warranty from them!

Please stay away from this company, since this is not the company you want to deal with. They knowingly and willingly make fake promises to provide you services in the future if needed. This is a total lie, and please do not get into this trap. The sales rep who sold us the home warranty told us that all the appliances were covered under this plan and did not mention if there were any exclusions in this contract. I paid him $1,050 in advance for this contract for the services to be provided in future in case of need. On 05/12/2019, I noticed some water leaking from the AC duct. I immediately contacted Select Home Warranty and filed the claim. I was told to watch for my emails and phone. Someone will contact me within 24-48 hours.
This morning I received an email from this company telling me "after a review of the information given to us by you concerning your HVAC system, your unit does appear to have a condensation leak. It has been determined that your policy does not cover this issue, the HVAC system has a condensation leak and unfortunately condensation leaks are not covered by your policy. Please see section 6.3.6 of the policy agreement."
Now my issue is: they never sent anybody out to look at the real problem, so how could they make this decision by sitting on their desk with closed eyes. How are they that sure that this leak is not for some other issue like the retaining pan being overfilled or the return line that takes the moisture out of the unit is not clogged and needs to be unclogged and other issues like that. Based on the other reviews posted by the various people online, this business is cheating the consumers by making any possible excuses under their fine prints whether they are existing are not to deny their services. This company appears to be is a real fraud and a cheat just collecting money from the public by selling their false commitments for their services to be performed in the future.
My sincere advice to you - just stay away from Select Home Warranty and look for some other company. Also whatever company you decide to go with, don't be that stupid to sign a long term contract like I did with this company. I think start with one year or less to experience their way of handling the claims and extend this only if you are fully satisfied and get for the value of your money. Just remember that you are paying for some kind of services only if needed and you may or may not use these services at all.

Richard ** employee of Select Home Warranty gave great customer service. He was very helpful and information, making my choice easier to go with the company. I found Select Home Warranty on the top 10 list, this was very helpful to have when making my decision. They had a variety of packages and reasonable rates compared to other companies and the incentives were great. They had numerous reviews, very high ratings. The service fee was very affordable and better than most companies.

Great price for warranty and that is it. You pay for Initial problem to be looked at by person then you have to pay for work. All they cover is parts took from April 29 to May 8 to get equipment approved. Now they say might not get reimbursed til the 1st week of July. This is a joke. They know how to charge me monthly for having them and they are NOT BBB approved. Never again.

I have not used the plan yet; however, the customer service was really good and I like the coverage terms and the five year platinum plan that I received because if I decide to sell the house the plan can either transfer to my next home or it can convey to the buyer which I think is really neat. Also, the price was right, not all of the warrranty services who contacted me at the time was offering such a great deal. Needless to say, I am happy with my choice.

The technician assigned was not getting back to me. It has been 5 days since I made the claim. I was starting to get a little upset. I was glad we decided to check things early, instead of waiting until last minute when we needed our air to be working. So I called today to find out what was going on, the customer service rep was unable to get an answer as well, so I was given the option to hire my own tech. Which I very much appreciated. It is always much easier to get things done when you are allowed that freedom.

Claim was fast and easy to complete. Great customer service! Select Home Warranty is a very good company that will work with you if they do not have any contractors. I was able to bring in my own contractor that I knew to work on my house. This didn't slow up the repayment at all. The whole time for the payment was less than 60 days long. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for the same services. You get a quality service at a very reasonable lower than industry price.

I was in the market for a warranty for my home. Chase ** called me after I had visited the website and described the services provided. I immediately signed up. I feel this is an excellent value and Chase did an excellent job of describing all my options and differences between SHW and the other companies out there. After he finished I was convinced that Select Home Warranty was the right company for me.

Just signed contract with a 3 year Select Home Warranty today. The representative was very nice and made it easy to sign up. We are switching to SHW after 3 years with a competitor. We hope this relationship will be better than the last, the last company raised our rates after 3 years and was very hard to do business with. SHW appears to be a great value, even adding roof and septic protection. It is a great feeling knowing that we are protected if/when an emergency repair happens.

I re-enrolled in coverage, Richard was my rep. He was able to honor my previous rate and maintain my plat. coverage at $375 for 14 mon and $45 deductible. Very happy with that and his service, very professional and friendly. I did however find my last enrollment back on 1/31/2018 and I paid $375 good till '7/15/2019'. My current renewal Richard said starts May 15 so I will call and get that start date pushed out, as there is some confusion here. My only issue -as he did not realize my current deal (before renewal) is actually out to July 15th. (I had worked with Adam **, according to my notes, who got it extended to this July 15th date.)
