They denied my claim and said I started my 3 policy days ago when actually I started my policy 6 weeks earlier. But after 3 calls and over an hour and a half on the phone, they are sending someone to look at the issue as a “courtesy”. So I guess that’s an acceptable resolution as long as they end up covering it.

I submitted a claim this morning and this afternoon I was contacted by Select Home Warranty to get the details of my claim and to get a contractor assigned to do the work. The customer service representative was very courteous during the call and she was knowledgeable about the services I needed.

You have a good product it seems and reasonably priced with some extra benefits. Johnathan was very helpful and explained it clearly. The extra benefits of 2 extra months, a discount, and reduced service call cinched for me along with the coverage plan. I was told a copy of the policy would be sent to me and it was unlike a competitor I talked to before I contacted SHW.

Hi. Had an AC issue and found the process pretty simple and quick. I submitted my claim at 8pm Sunday and by Monday morning had a ac company contact me to arrange appt. Very pleased. AC company selected was very helpful and accommodate the time slot needed. So grateful to have a backup plan like service warranty at time like now. Thank you Select Home Warranty.

The experience was great and Sam was very polite. He made sure to explain everything well and made me some great offers. I was recommend this company to my friends. Roof Leak. Excellent service and empathy with problem. Made claim process simple. Explained process on repair and timeline without any confusion. I felt assured that my problem would be taken care of in a timely fashion. Great job. Phone answered quickly at a time when most businesses will keep you on hold for extremely long times hiding behind the virus excuse. That is if they even answer the phone at all. Thanks.

Isaac explained the program well. I do appreciate knowing how the coverage works and this was also covered well. The fact that the coverage can be transferred to a buyer or another home was a plus for us in selecting the option. We also appreciate the fact that it is possible to cancel the coverage if necessary.

The plans are pretty reasonable. The coverage is very comprehensive. Flexibility of the monthly payments, and yearly pay plans are nice. For the price that I'm paying, I'm more secured in knowing that this was a good investment to take care of any future home issues or incidents. All my friends will definitely hear it from me that there is home warranty bargain with quality to be found at Select Home Warranty.

The representative on the phone answered all my questions about the contract I purchased. He also accommodated the earlier date we needed to have the services available to make sure we had coverage when our previous contract ended. Have not had to submit a claim yet so for the time being, I can only give a satisfied rating.

I am very satisfied with the service, coverage and so far customer service never a long wait! Representatives are kind, detailed and open to as many questions you may have. The customer has full control of setting up an appointment with the contractor which means no taking time away from your busy schedule!! You have the open floor to choose what’s best for you and your home!

Our water heater stopped working. I submitted a claim online (which was easy), and a very helpful local service company responded. We submitted the required information, and the water heater was replaced. The service was timely, efficient and pleasant overall. I was satisfied with the end result. I would recommend this company.

Friendly. Fast service, I was with another warranty company and they were terrible and very difficult to get trades out to service the house, and very happy when I called Select Home Warranty and Sam was very helpful in choosing the right warranty for the property. My initial experience with Select Home Warranty was positive. I got the coverage I wanted at a fair price. The sales associate was polite and knowledgeable. My only criticism is that my confirmation of coverage did not include my contract #. I had to call Select Home warranty to get my contract number.

I am waiting to see if the furnace is covered. The furnace blows cold air. The igniters are not lighting up. And it needs a tune-up. Furnace needs a good cleaning. The ductwork needs to be cleaning tool. I am going to cancel the policy even if I get a free month.

I was pleased that when you had a delay in responding you authorized me to get the problem diagnosed locally. I will keep you updated with the diagnoses and results. My problem is that the thermostat is not working and I don't know if it is the thermostat or the aircon unit itself.

Just signed up with Select. The sales department was very helpful and explained everything easily and understandable. I think this company is very well organized. I moved from another warranty company because this was not the case with them. The prices are very attractive and much less expensive than my previous warranty company.

I placed a call because my ac went out at 4:30. A service tech called me on an hour and stated he could come the same night. He checked ac and gave estimate within 3hours of me placing call. My last company took 3 days for a service tech to come out.

Straight forward. Rep honest about pricing. Very business like. What few questions I had he answered directly without hesitation. He was very understanding of my situation. He assured me that there were no hidden closes to deny coverage. I havent filed a claim yet but I am sure there will be no question.

Quick and easy sign up process over the phone. Haven’t had a great experience with fidelity in the past so hoping that Select Home Warranty will be different and help us in times when we need instead of giving us a run around like other companies. The sign up call was very easy and the associate was very helpful on the call and he even answered all of my questions before signing me up!

I called to speak with someone to get a claim number and received excellent service to have my AC checked out. I was given a claim number and was told that someone will come to check it soon. This service is recommended and I am happy with the service so far.

I had originally signed up for month to month online but when I called in I was offered a year service in a discounted rate. I am a recent home owner and live in Texas and because of that my rep gave me additional discounts and saved me more money! And the rep also let me pay in 3 installments which convinced me even more.

After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to switch my home warranty to Select Home Warranty. Their agent is pretty helpful and provided me a good coverage at great price. Although I haven't used their service yet, believe that they should be trustful. I would recommend them to my friend.

When I asked for a quote Jeff called me right away. I had already spoken with two other home warranty companies and he gave me the best rate for the most service. Plus he offered me a multi-year plan that saved me even more. I like that I can call for service 24/7 and someone will come out within 24 hours. They even provide service on the weekends.

Customer service was very professional, answered all of my questions and knowledgeable of what was covered. They were able to work with me with reference to the monthly price and was able to get a discount. I shopped around for different home warranties. SHW had the greatest coverage for the most reasonable cost and lowest service call fees. The customer service was so superb, Belinda was a delight to talk to and incredibly helpful. My real estate agent and I talked about SHW, and she was shocked by the difference in comparison to competitors that she USED to recommend. She'll be telling her clients about SHW from now on. Fast, friendly and accurate response to my HOW inquiry. Salesperson was willing to give me the best possible deal for my situation. We found Richard ** very friendly and professional. He was very patient and considerate while explaining all the benefits and costs to the different plans that you had available. When he found out my husband was a veteran he was very respectful of that status and we enjoyed speaking with him very much. You should be very proud of him. Air conditioning unit. The operator was very polite and very detailed. She even said "thank you" when I spoke to her. Very professional. Ask about the serial numbers on the unit and waited patiently as I went outside to retrieve the brand and model of the unit. Awesome job! Gave me the policy number and the order number and politely ask if I had a pen and paper available. There should be more representatives like this. Being courteous nowadays is a lost art. I would fully recommend the Operator to anyone that wants or needs a policy to ask for Beth. Thanks.

The representative I spoke with, Ralph, was competent and helpful. The only negative was that once I set up the policy and arranged the payment information, he immediately began a rehearsed (or scripted) ploy to change what we had arranged to a longer, one time payment arrangement that I was not interested in. We shall see how the policy actually works as compared to the company we had a policy through last year.

So far I have been quite satisfied with Select Home Warranty. Have had several household claims (e.g. broken washer, dishwasher, etc.) that have been handled with great customer service and to my satisfaction. I file the claims via internet and promptly get a schedule of times to choose from to have a technician out to the house. Paying $40 to not have to find a technician myself to come out to the house when something breaks, and have appliances looked at by reliable technicians when they break down is great. My thanks to Select Home Warranty for great service, reliable technicians and prompt processing of claims.

Agent was polite and articulate and easy to understand and worked to my best rate. When I called back agent was available. Easy cancellation in 30 days was explained. Agent was able to check availability in my area and determine if service was available.

Selling home and home inspector claims a/c not cooling properly, Delta-T should be over 15 and said ours is 13. States amps are 40 and should only be 35. Also made separate claim for circuit breaker box, said not up to today's standards, but home was built in 1997. Very positive experience with making a claim. Have policy since 1997 and have never had to use it before.

The technician called on the first business day after I made my claim and came out the same day. He diagnosed the issue and explained that parts would be needed and he would order them. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I am very pleased and will recommend SHW to my friends and family members.

He already had the info up from where I did research online and he helped me save by explaining to me the benefits of doing annual payments; which led to 2 months free. We have had SHW FOR ABOUT A YEAR. IT HAS BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTING, WE HAD A MICROWAVE GO BAD AFTER 14 months listed for $300. They gave me $95 to replace it, we had to go buy it pick it up and install it ourselves, we had the spring on our garage door break, they said yes our plan covers it. We had the springs replaced. They said it won’t be covered because they were 14 years old, SHW is a damn Joke. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.. Larry **.

I had a washing machine that was knocking during the spin cycle. Called SHW on February 4 and they were to send out a technician. The tech came out and described the issue. Weeks went by with no communication from the tech or SHW. Called multiple times. SHW then sent out a second tech and a second service charge to tell me the same thing. No word again. Called the service provider and they said SHW denied the claim. Called SHW and they said they wouldn’t repair the machine and would give me $200 to buy a new one. The machine in $989.00 on sale. The math doesn’t add up now does it. The last guy I talked to was supposed to call me back on Monday and never did. For those reading this review, don’t walk away, RUN.

I emailed a claim in. It was quickly taken care of. I was able to pick my plumber. The claim was approved within 24 hours all I had to do was send in a copy of receipt. It was super easy. I would recommend always submitting your own claims. It is much faster and you get to pick who comes to your home.

Line leak in plumbing at utility sink hot water shut off valve - I called in and was helped to find my policy number and submitted the claim over the phone. I was told I would be getting an email with regard to the next steps after a review of the claim to ensure it was a covered in the following 24-48 hours. I received the email in about 24 hours. I am now waiting to hear back via email on who the technician is to be assigned for the repair. The customer service rep was very helpful and thorough, accurate and informational on what to expect next. I appreciate the helpful information.

I am a new customer to SHW but not to home warranty services. I called today to confirm my online request for a new contract. The sales rep was a little pushy considering the state of the country. Being on a fixed income and trying to be proactive in keeping the appliances in my home working, the rep was only concerned with marking a sale and not going over once line of the contract with me. The customer service I received was top notch as the agent I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable about heir premiums. I had called today to get this claim reopened because the first option to repair the dryer was not the solution. Your representative was very professional in helping me solve this issue and I am waiting to hear from the tech who will come back to repair my dryer. I waited 3 days for a technician to come, and when I called him, he hadn't even gotten word from SHW. The claim was denied, because SHW says it was leaking. I just bought it, brand new last year. It is not leaking! It just stopped working. You don't even deserve one star, but the technician was good, so I gave you the star. Now, I want a full refund from you, and cancel my plan! You're useless!

I have never had this company pay a claim. I signed up again because they told me that was the only way they would pay for a claim that I already put in with my last contract. The Customer Service team is nice, but they aren't very knowledgeable. They wouldn't even allow me to enter this, unless I gave them a good rating. smh

Furnace stop working & can't light pilot light. The customer service rep was very helpful & pleasant, she took thorough info on our problem and advised a service company would contact us between 24 to 48 hrs. The agent was knowledgeable and helpful. He sent a contract which I reviewed and had questions about. It's really important to review the policy, as it didn't cover a tankless hot water heater. After calling him, he changed the policy to include the hot water heater. The policy goes into effect in 30 days, so we will see how that goes.

I was with another company for the last 15 yrs but they stopped the operation in Maryland so hopefully, this company stays in business. Air Conditioning failure. The repair arrival time was scheduled in a timely fashion. Technicians were able to arrive early, and called to say so. Techs were communicative, and work was completed quickly. The only unexpected situation was that this repair company would only accept cash for the trip/Select deductible, and that was not communicated in advance by their company's scheduler.

I contacted Select Warranty for the first time since signing up with them in July of 2019. My AC unit u is giving me problems so of course I am already on pins and needles. Contract #**...I enrolled in service today online. I called customer service to confirm and was provided great service and given a better deal with a cheaper annual fee and cheaper service fee so I was completely satisfied with the service. The representative was very knowledgeable and didn’t waste a lot of time. He was also concerned with me saving money. The entire process took about 5 minutes and that’s including the time spent completing the Internet application. I would definitely recommend this plan to any homeowner, it gives peace of mind with any unforeseen problems.

When I called the number to get my contract number to complete the online claim, the representative gave me the contract number and filed the claim for me. The representative was very articulate and kind. I have only used the service once before for my air conditioner and that went well. I would recommend this home warranty above the others I have had in the past. Awesome service.

Dealing with Select Home Warranty has been a nightmare. I have had two issues and both times, first time, the repair company didn't even exist. They called, had to get my own on both occasions. Then when they talk to my repairman, they kept putting him on hold, sending him to other dept. I have yet got reimbursed for my problem. I emailed the invoice to them and a word back, have called, and I keep getting a run around. It's almost like the are a fake company. I can't explain enough what a nightmare this has been.

I asked a lot of questions About the 2 plans I bought from them and he was very patient with me. He directed me to a sales number for costs to renew both plans that are expiring in October.

In this time of stress having our air conditioner not working seemed overwhelming. Overall, the customer service was good. I appreciate that the sales rep was able to provide me with additional savings since I was willing to sign up for the annual plan. The only critique is I felt like the sales rep was slightly rushing me to get off the phone after he got my credit card number.

The operator took the time to describe all of my options in enrolling with Select. The description given was very clear and without any undue pressure. The Platinum Plan is the best option for me both financially and satisfaction in knowing things will be taken care of in the future. The Platinum Plan is far more inexpensive than my previous coverage with a different company. The future looks rosy for me and my family. My policy was supposed to have an effective date of April 18, 2020. They refused a claim on that day instead claiming my effective date was the 19th. After speaking to retention, he honored my claim with no hassle and an appointment was made that day. Customer service was not very helpful.

I just signed up with Select Home Warranty. My customer service representative, Richard, was helpful, understanding and made sure the particulars of my policy were clear. He also explained discounts that I was eligible for in an easy to understand manner. While I haven't had to use the service (for obvious reasons) I truly believe that if the enrollment experience is anything like the claims experience that it will be a breeze.

I got a quote for Home warranty Platinum care from Select Home warranty via online Mar 15, 2020 and the select home warranty person George ** called me and explained me why select home warranty is able to provide coverage with local repair shops. George told me that there is a wait time of 1 month for the policy to start effective which is Apr 15, 2020 and all appliances will be covered from Day 1. If anything broken before the effective date, then he should be able to move the effective date. Talked about policy transfer if the house was sold later & I took the policy on Mar 15, 2020. No issues with any appliances till Apr 15, 2020.
On Apr 15, 2020 my oven keypad didn’t work and I raised a claim on Apr 16, 2020 via online. Once the claim was raised, Dispatch team called and verified about the issue and said they will assign a local repair shop within 24-48 hrs & mentioned once the repair shop is assigned, call the repair shop store and schedule an appointment with them. Dispatch team assigned “Advance Tech Appliance Repair” on Apr 18, 2020 and I left voicemails on Apr 18 & on Apr 20. Contacted Dispatch team on Apr 20 and they also tried to reach Advance Tech Appliance Repair but there was no response. Hence Dispatch team asked to me to find a local repair shop in my city and reimburse the expenses.
Due to Covid-19, no local repair shops are not available other than GE but GE was asking 99.95$ for trip charge alone. I contacted dispatch team on Apr 22 again to mention about trip charges, dispatch team mentioned that they need to get approval for 99.95$ trip charge and asked me to wait for a day. On Apr 23,2020 I contacted Dispatch team and asked whether I can go ahead with GE. Dispatch team told that they are negotiating with GE to get a lesser trip fee and wait for 1 more day. On 24 Apr, 2020 I got an email from Dispatch team to send an email with the oven unit photos & serial and model number photo. On Apr 25, 2020 I called dispatch team, Dispatch team told that GE didnt agree for a lesser price and going to find another local repair shop which will take another 24-28 hrs.
On Apr 27, 2020 I got an email saying "I have been Approved for the Full Available Cap of $150.00 for the Repair". Their cheap practices start from this email. I called the Dispatch team again and asked why 150.00 has been approved as my repair Control board will cost close to 250$ alone (without labor charge). Dispatch team mentioned that "in the first 3 months" only $150.00 is allowed for appliance other than heating and cooling appliance". I Told the dispatch team, George told me that everything will be covered from day 1 and repairs are performed. If repairs aren't performed then replacement will happen" but he didn’t say anything about the limits. Then Dispatch team mentioned this cost limits are mentioned in the 10.1 section of the policy document. I mentioned to Dispatch team that George should have explained to me when we were taking in Mar 15, 2020 & dispatch team told sorry and they can't do anything.
I asked Dispatch team I need to cancel the policy as I am not happy with $150.00 payment. Dispatch team connected me to policy cancellation team where I discussed with Louis. Louis mentioned that in the first 3 months of policy only $150.00 will be paid irrespective of the issue and he also mentioned it is present in the 10.1 section of policy. I told Louis I trusted George to take policy from Select Home warranty and he didnt mention about 3 months condition & also mentioned that Dispatch team didnt say about this cost limits from the beginning until today. Louis told casually that's how select home warranty will do business. I become furious and started to read 10.1 section and below content from the policy document
"The following guidelines will be implemented to provide a repair/replacement allowance. For heating or cooling equipment (hvac), in the first three months of coverage, a $500 repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customer. This repair/replacement allowance will increase to $2000 after the first three months of coverage. For appliances (non-heating or cooling) in the first three months, a $150 repair/replacement allowance will be paid to the customer. This repair/replacement allowance will increase to $500 after the first three months of coverage."
When I told Louis, even after 3 months select home warranty is not covering fully. Louis again mentioned that’s how select home warranty will do business with cheap premium. I asked Louis to cancel my policy effective 4/27/2020. Louis mentioned that the premium will be prorated from Mar 15, 2020 to 4/27/2020 + 75$ cancellation fee will be applicable and gave an offer for the next claim he will be waiving off the $60 service fee. I replied back to Louis saying I am not happy with the first claim itself & I am not going to open another claim with select home warranty and told him that my policy started on 4/15/2020 not on March 15, 2020. Louis mentioned that Select home warranty will count the days from Mar 15, 2020 not from 4/15/2020. I told to Louis that is cheating the customer for not considering the policy effective date. Louis took the request to cancel the policy and mentioned it will take 15-30 days to get the refund check.
If you are thinking to take "Select Home warranty", then read through the policy document mandatorily else you will be always talking to Dispatch team always. Then read through the policy document mandatorily else you will be always talking to Dispatch team always & spend more money for the repair or replacement cost than without a home warranty.

I needed a blower in the AC unit. It was an emergency as my father has very bad COPD and in Florida the humidity is hard on COPD patients. The unit was fixed. I submitted the invoice and paid check and it was honored in full by the insurance coverage. Very happy for the convenient process.

Basement drain backup, sewer issue with water backup in basement area. Require plumber to clear stoppage in both laundry room and cleanout area. Contacted Select Home for approval and to dispense a plumber. They could not locate one advised us to locate one on our own and they would potential reimburse for the approved amount. We are awaiting reimbursement from Select Home. Used Lakeshore Plumbing and they were outstanding! Very knowledgeable and corrected the problem and explained things very well!

Select Home Warranty responded with contact info to schedule service to repair my dishwasher. Tech showed up on a timely basis. Repairs were done and the tech had repair completed and left his work area clean. Followed up a few days later to see how my dishwasher was doing. My plan will be expiring soon and I plan to renew my policy. Have had good experience with Select Home Warranty.

My call to make a claim about my HVAC system went very well and was informative. I explained that the HVAC system needed to be replaced and why, however after being told to send receipts for the replaced HVAC system in order to receive reimbursement, I received an email back saying a contractor is being sought out to complete work for me that has already been done. I’ve responded saying I just need reimbursement with no response. Miscommunication must have happened somewhere.

The representative I spoke with today was very willing to make sure we stayed a customer. He was patient and very flexible. He made us feel we were worthy and that our business mattered. We wasn't sure if we would be able to afford the rate because it was $200 more then last year. The representative was able to get us the same rate as last year as well as break our payments down into 2 payments. Absolutely the worst experience!!! I have just completed my first year of coverage and will not be renewing. I had 4 claims and only 3 were covered, even though according to my contract, all 4 should have been. I bought a house and paid $499 for the top level of coverage. It included just about everything in the house. The chain on my garage door Opener broke, they covered it, but not without a fight. They attempted to tell me it wouldn’t be covered until I got a supervisor on the phone who corrected the matter after speaking to the tech who was on the job. I had roof leak coverage, I had a roof leak over my main bedroom, they refused to cover it saying the leak was outside the “occupied” living area. I don’t know how my master bedroom is outside the occupied living area, I tried 4 times to get this covered until I gave up, which is what they want you to do.
I had an electrical system claim, according to the contract, covered. I had a breaker that kept shutting off randomly for no reason, they classified it as a “light fixture” and denied my claim. Had zero to do with a light fixture, there was a bad breaker and they kept telling me I do not have coverage for light fixtures even though that wasn’t the issue and in my contract it said I had coverage for light fixtures and ceiling fans, and they kept telling me it did not. I even got a supervisor on the phone again, they confirmed both electrical and fixture coverage on my contract. Said they will send an electrician and then 3 days later tell me they can’t find an electrician (in Phoenix), and deny my claim for lack of technician. Lastly, I had an issue with an appliance, my built-in microwave push open handle stopped working, they denied the claim saying I didn’t have coverage yet again, even though my contract says I do.
I have now gotten an Atty. involved to get my $499 back, because this is a complete joke of a scam service. The customer service department is in India, they use the language barrier against you, they don’t understand terminology. With the roof leak they kept referring to the garage. I kept telling them, my bedroom is not in the garage and they just kept repeating, "Well ma’am the garage is not an occupied living space and not covered." The leak wasn’t in the garage!!!! Beyond frustrating experience and an utter waste of $499. Save yourself the hassle and stress and go with someone, anyone else!!! This company is a complete fraud! Contract #** in case you want to verify what I am saying. My contract expired and I am now with American Home Shield.

He filed my claim giving me the claim #, and what to expect & what to do to complete my claim. We are very happy to have Select Home Warranty. It gives us the peace of mind we need.

Recently we purchased a home warranty through Select Home Warranty. We were able to include our irrigation system for a fee. Shortly thereafter our irrigation system required repair. SHW was quick to respond and approve the repairs. I have had coverage through other home warranty companies, none with the response and coverage like SHW.

We have been a subscriber o DC this service for 3 yrs and not used it so we can’t really give a review of their service! The price for three year is reasonable considering the cost of equipment replacement! Their renewal price is negotiable and that is a plus as they increase it by 43% if you don’t call them and negotiate a lower cost. They are very willing to lower your cost and their offers may be good but they give us Seniors no time to do the math to see the advantages! We renewed because we need the coverage!

Customer service was so helpful and made sure all my questions were answered and helped me set up my claim all in a few moments. I spoke with Jonathan who was knowledgeable, courteous, and he signed me up with no problem. I enjoyed my experience over the phone, I already have a copy of my contract. It was easy to get the quote online but they had a better deal if you call in and sign up.

I was searching for a new warranty for my home appliances. I found Select Home Warranty had the highest rating. Representative Daniel C. was very knowledgeable and professional. This was the 3rd company I called. The coverage is much better than what I had with another company this past year. Everything was explained to me, and the price is great with discounts. Thank you.

Was pleased with service. Polite, knowledgeable, and well versed with the warranty I was interested in. I was supplied with all pertinent information. I decided this was a better value than other similar products. I hope not to have to use it any time soon. I am confident that their service will be satisfactory based on my experience.

Replace toilet tank.The only reason they did not earn 5 stars is that I had to follow up with Select Home Warranry in order to find out what was going to happen next. The 4 stars were earned by sending out a plumber after 48 hours, and getting the job done correctly the first time! I was very pleased with their service. Dinah

Called because there is no place to register an account online. Never received my welcome package. So I called and had to ask how you submit online. After I got my email I was on hold for a long time so I hungup. To be honest I haven't had to us the service to fix anything yet, we'll see how go they are once that happens.

Last call with warranty team took only a minute to and they were quick to add us into the application. Really like the professionalism and speed to act. Will recommend the same to other friends. I was told my plan did not include what I needed but it was able to be added on. So I called and it was added to the plan which was a breeze. The lines of communication are easily open and transparency is in place. This was an easy fix when filing a claim. I will recommend Select Home Warranty to all home owners.

Enrolling in a 3 1/2 year contract. The representative was very helping and worked with helping find a plan that was right for us. He made sure we were happy and it fit with us financially. The representative explained the policy and also notified us of extra discounts that were available. This is how we were able to add both our properties with this company.

Signing up was quick and easy and the rep that called was helpful. They called within 24 hours and had other deals to help with coverage and pricing. If you're interested in appliance warranty I would check them out. Only issue they don’t cover NY but they do cover many other states. They do try to upsell a little but it is good to know what is available. It is cheaper to buy the plan for a year or more but it is still a reasonable price for month to month.

I called Select Home Warranty regarding possible enrollment. The representative was very courteous and informative, not pushy. I decided with this call to sign up. I had called another company prior to this call and the representative was rude, impatient and pushy, I knew this was not the company for me.

My customer service representative A. ** was very nice and courteous. He even called me back to ensure my information was correct during an internet glitch. He also ensured I receive the best deal possible and saved me money. Before ending the restated his direct contact number and company number and made me feel as though I could call him directly if I had any additional questions or concerns.

The Warranty is extremely bad, the Claims are never honored at the time any repair issue pops up. The Claim department manipulates the way they do not want to honor the claim. I will never buy this Policy again based on the past 2 years experience. This is just a fraud Insurance Business.

My initial call was handled quickly and professionally. I have used SHW multiple times in the past for other house sales and it has always gone well. Jonathan took care of everything for me. Initially there was some problem in getting the contract through email but he re-sent and all went well. I have also had to use the warranty in the past and everything was quick and efficient. I think the warranty is a good value for the price.

Customer service was very helpful answering all my questions, about my warranty. It was fast and easy - I didn't have my contract after purchase it must have gone to spam but she sent it right over and I had it in about a minute! I have not had to make any claims yet but if I do I hope the process is just as smooth!

I called "Select" customer service for clarifications before purchasing a home warranty. The representative's clarifications were clear and to the point, and he outlined all the options available. He explained the 5 year plan option, as well as getting a good deal if I purchased a home warranty for another property.

Jonathan was very thorough and helpful in answering my questions and providing complete information regarding the home warranty contract. A very attractive multi-year offer was available which we took advantage of for 3 years. Very attractive features included the low service fee and also the transferable feature of the contract.

It was very easy to enroll. As I was looking online at the website, a representative contacted me to see if I had any questions or concerns about the policy which I was viewing. Here’s what happened to me-AirConditioner malfunctioned; called; sent out their own contractor; he re-wired, drained Freon, left; A/C then smelled like it was on fire; second visit ruined what was left of the A/C. Replaced with a new $3000 unit. Total compensation for all of this was a check for $200‼️ The customer service promised emails that were never received. Claims department was 2-3 months late in sending the check. I cancelled the policy and they deducted the $200 from the prorated 3-year policy premium. Do not purchase this product—very bad.

I'm disappointment with the serviceman because it took him about 5 days to turn in paperwork and then I had to call. He never returned my callback. Customer Service was very helpful with trying to reach the serviceman to ask about my washer. I received emails about making sure an appointment had been made with tech for the washer.

Male rep for Select. Friendly, trying to help, cooperative when asked to slow down, replies sometimes slurred, interactions could have been better timed, possibly overeager to get out all his points. Successfully conveyed his main message, that is that a local appliance technician would be located and that person in turn would contact me either this evening or tomorrow.

Your warranty program is a God send. The cost is very reasonable, with the low service call fee. I was referred by my wife's cousin. She says their plan paid for itself with their first claim. I don't have anything else to say really. Just keep doing what you have always been doing.

I renewed with Select Home Warranty because the price was very affordable, especially when compared to other businesses, & even more so with their multi-year contract options which I was told are flexible (can cancel at any time and receive a pro-rated refund). I have yet to use them for a home issue but hope that it will be as simple for a repair issue as it has been to find and sign up with their business.

He was able to get my service started, informed me of the 30 day waiting period and emailed me all the details and contract. My initial call was not effective. I spoke with Tom. Very abrupt, rushed and uninformative. My second call to Greg was very productive. We discussed comprehensively the various plans. Greg was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, professional and flexible. We were able to agree on a Home warranty plan that best suited my needs. More salespeople like Greg, please.

The LG refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. The phone call with the Select Home Warranty rep was reasonably good, but the appliance repair company they selected was not provided with any information by Select (type of fridge, contact phone, etc.), all of which I gave to the guy on the phone. I had to follow up by calling the appliance repair company and give them the info, which should have been included by Select.

The supervisor is going to gather a technician for me to resolve my plumbing issues. He will make sure the technician is approved prior to the technician coming over to my house. I have had issues with technicians accepting the job and then turning it down so the supervisor guaranteed me that he would find someone.

When I went online to check on their site. I was shortly called by one of their reps. He was very pleasant. He gave me his direct line and answered all of my questions. He offered me additional discounts not listed. He was a little pushy but was really only trying to help me make the best decision. He laid out all of my options, which I greatly appreciated. I hope I never have to use this service but I know I have them if I need them and that is peace of mind to me. I can even take my service with me if I move.

I just signed up with Select. I was impressed with the ratings online and the prices. The customer service rep was helpful. The more you waver the more they offer, I found which was disappointing, but he did ask questions that opened up discounts otherwise unavailable to me. They are three times less than my last warranty and half the service call price. Looking forward to a good experience.
