Select Home Warranty seems to be one of the best from my research. Signing up with Peter ** was quick and easy. They are highly rated in customer satisfaction already and one of the least expensive. I am a new home owner and haven’t made any claims… Pray I don’t have to… But the reviews say they come through when needed.

Agent was very helpful and explained everything clearly to where I could understand. He also answered all my questions Thoroughly. He was very professional and attentive to the question I had to ask. The agent made it simple and it didn't take long at all. Would recommend to friends and family.

I was interested in getting a home warranty since I had a great experience earlier this week with my car's extended warranty. Peter asked if I'd like to proceed. We did and my home covered in less than 10 minutes. I could not believe that the process was so easy. Today I spoke with Jake ** from Select Home Warranty. He was extremely friendly, helpful and answered my many questions regarding the various plans available. After many minutes with all my questions answered, I chose the multi year Premium plan. Many thanks to Jake for his able assistance in choosing Select Home Warranty.

The website was so easy to use and the representative contacted me so quickly! The gentleman was friendly and professional. He advised me of my options on the extended options and when he said I would receive an email shortly, it was practically instant! On top of it all, they had a discount and extra coverage as part of a current promotion.

The sign up process was pleasant and the phone guy was nice. Pushed hard for extra years on the contract which I didn't do. I'm a bit concerned regarding reviews on the claims process but I guess I'll wait and see how it goes. It appears everyone is happy with the purchase until they go to get a repair done.

It was very easy to contact an agent. He was very friendly and professional. He explained various options for multiyear plans and the savings involved. We were not able to make a multiyear investment at this point and the agent was not pushy or unprofessional at any point. The initial sales call with Select Home Warranty was extremely efficient and effective. The sales person active listened to accurately assess my needs and offered competitive pricing that matched my desired services and budget. He was knowledgeable, quick, and thorough. Pricing was competitive and caused me to choose SHW to replace the Home Warranty company I had been with for 14 years.

After filling out the form on the website, I received a call from Jake at Select. He offered the most expensive plan (again, as expected) and I went over the options, stating what did and did not apply for my home. After agreeing on the plan, he then told me the pricing, emphasizing that prices go up from year to year. After some negotiating, I agreed to a 3+ year plan, the premiums to be paid in advance. We'll see what happens.

Great customer service! We Needed to renew before our expiration of our current home warranty plan. They have Fast, friendly service. It was easy to get completed! I hope to never need it but peace of mind for future repair needs if we Do need it at any time in the future months. Thank you. Great value, home warranty insurance.

Customer service representative was very helpful and very polite. The process for filing a claim was easy. The customer service center said they will contact local technicians near my home and once they find the best company to resolve our needs they will contact me and send an email with all the necessary information to set up an appointment which will be both convenient and helpful.

Representative was informative and kind. Lucas answered my questions. He did try to upsell me on the insurance product, but was not pushy. I appreciate this. I was given the option of a three, five, and ten year plan with a military discount given that my husband served in Desert Storm. Although a great discount, I have never had a home warranty and was not comfortable extending past a year. Lucas kindly accepted my position and continued with the contract.

Received good service from Select Home Warranty. Will use it more! Good price, service, and package. It really protects my home from being broken and lots of related issues. Wow!!! Such Great Customer Service. I have a leak in my master bath Shower and they will connect me with my local plumber. I am so happy I found them for Home Warranty. I am a Realtor and will buy their service for all my clients! So happy with them!

I’ve been with Select Home Warranty for a few years. Recently I moved and renewed my warranty and it’s only gotten better! They cover more than before, and offer a better valued of service! If you pay more in a annual advance, they can off you a higher discount as well!

Regretting that I switched to Select Home Warranty, their service is horrible. I don't know why the reviews are great for them but most of I know that has Select Warranty are complaining. My house plumbing issue has not been resolved almost 4 days and still in review. I can't believe it. I'm gonna cancel right away.

I have the VIP Package and my AC gave out in the middle of the summer which after paying $75 for tech to come out and recommended to replace my A/C. Select Warranty only is fixing a part even with a other things are wrong. Per the tech which said it is better to replace because at that point it’s cheaper compared to cost to add Freon and replace the part with labor and all else that is included. Terrible customer service and ethical practices.

I bought warranty services. My outdoor unit, the condenser broke, the technician came 7 days ago, the house is 89 degrees inside. The company still have not approved my claim, every time I call, they give me an excuse, one day they say it's approved and technician will call me to schedule, I wait, then I call both of them and say it's not approved yet. People answering the phone (John, Flo, and many others) they don't care about you. DO NOT BUY SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY, NOT WORTH IT!

Scam. Liar. Didn't match the describe before I bought. I want to share I very terrible expense. Two months ago one of my friends recommends I should my home warranty. I went to Google search, found this company has very good feedback. I called the company. Would like to buy a home warry for my house appliance. I talked to some agents. They said I only pay for the first visit of a $60 deductible. The rest of the company will take care. "If the appliance is broken, we will take care of it and replacement to a new one or fix it. You don't need to pay any penny out of the pocket." After I talked to the agent, I decided to buy it.

I came home to find out by my neighbor that we had a major power surge in the community. It blew my AC and refrigerator so I was stuck with a hot house and my food was going to spoil. I called the 800# in panic mode not knowing what to do. The dispatcher said no worries and took down all of my information. Within 8 minutes after the call I had a confirmation of who was coming to fix it and when. The best customer service ever.

It was a good call. The sales rep Jamie ** did a great job to help me purchase the best Select Home Warranty plan for me. I was able to get a good deal on the home warranty. Hopefully the service will be as good as this when I need to fix something in my house.

The agent guided me through the process of transferring my coverage to a new residence, effective the day of closing on the new home. He was very helpful and responded well to all of my questions and concerns. My long term warranty coverage was transferred with no additional charges. My air conditioner isn’t working. Talk to a representative to see what could be done. She told me that I needed to write a I’ll put in an order to get it checked out and so I’m waiting to get information about who I’m gonna go through to come check on the air conditioner.

Select Home Warranty contacted me as our current service contract was to expire in 30 days. To renew my contract, the agent presented me with several options to make my next contract cover all my needs and at a very good price. One option was to use my own service tech if I desired and they would cover, which is one option not offered by another warranty company I was talking with. I have been pleased with my SHW in the past and hope to continue the satisfaction in the future.

Purchasing home warranty through SELECT HOME WARRANTY was an easy experience, Sales representative was not pushy at all rather explained all the coverages, contract terms and available opportunities for discounts. I contracted for 6 years at an awesome price of 5 years and my monthly fee is half compared to what I pay to other home warranty vendor. My service fee is also reduced by 50% at $60 per service call which is great. Overall I am happy with their sales process.

I have had another home warranty home which turned out to be less than promised. I have been reviewing all home service companies and their contracts. I decided on Select Home as their policies were priced fairly, their contract was easy to understand and the deductible was reasonable. This is our second home with a Select service contract. We had occasion to use the service on another home and they were there the next day, went and got the needed parts and came back the same day and repaired the garage door unit perfectly.

He was polite and patient. He was clear, friendly and concise. And, he listened. And he gently led me to the best possible product for me and within a budget that worked. He is a terrific representative and sales person and service oriented man. What really peaked my interested among the long list of reasons to sign up, was your ‘free roof leak’ coverage, your $60/service fee, the fact that I could recommend a service person if they were licensed & bonded… and your ‘like for like’ replacement coverage if repairs were not do-able.

I requested an online home warranty comparison and Select came up with lowest cost with the most coverage. Immediately I received a follow up call, paid over the phone and was done in 5 mins. They also offered me a multi year plan with an additional discount plus reduction in service call fee..

Moe explained all the details and was very helpful when I had concerns and questions he was quick to respond. After shopping around I found that Select was the best option for me when buying my new home. I have not used the service yet but hopefully if I ever have any problems they will be quickly resolved. I was misled by Select... very bluntly. On June 30, 2021 I purchased a home warranty policy from Select Home Warranty, through a sales representative (known as Greg). When presenting the policy, Greg included Executive VIP membership for free (including certain additional coverage as well as same-day service). Since I have Freon AC, I asked him specifically about this coverage. Greg mentioned that "I'm in good hands because Freon will be covered as well". I made the purchase. When I received the policy, I noticed that the contract explicitly states that Freon is NOT covered. I emailed Greg but didn't receive any response.

The quote was better than other companies and sales rep Bryan was pleasant to talk to. We have not used any of their services yet. Hopefully when the services are needed the experience is just as good and they deliver on the promises made at the time of selling the home warranty.

I have been on the plan for more than 30 day. Select Home Warranty is putting less than 30 days in the way of doing what we customers are paying for. Are they for real or is the company a scam. Waiting for my replacement of my A/C, the technician said the unit is to old get replacement parts for that it had to get replaced.

I placed a request for a plumber through my insurance policy. They immediately sent out a technician who said I needed my toilet rebuilt, but that the work order had to be approved first. The request was immediately approved and an incredible technician responded and did the work. I couldn’t have been happier. The repairman showed me the parts he replaced and explained why I need everything replaced. He left the working area cleaner than he found it.

Just signed with Select today. After two years of horrible experiences with another warranty service, our property manager said enough was enough. She's been waiting almost two months for them to install a garbage disposal at our rental property. Today a new vendor was assigned, now the process has to start all over again. That's just crazy. The associate that help complete my purchase today was extremely helpful. She answered all questions to my satisfaction.

The plans is cheaper than other provider with additional discount in price, longer service year. 5 yrs subscription has further discount with more months covered. Overall I am happy. I spoke with David who explained about the differences in pricing between monthly payments compared to paying full yearly amount. I do not yet know how the service is considering that I just signed up for the services. I am looking forward to finding out if customer service is timely and efficient.

I had been looking at Select Home Warranty online, and found I liked the offers and coverages; all at lower prices than other companies for home warranties I had been researching. On a budget due to only income is Social Security, it gives me peace of mind to know I can get help to repair or replace something in the coverage with no problems. I even got roof repair leaks for free! They gave a generous discount for paying annually; another discount for being a Senior Citizen; and if it had been applicable; also offered discounts for Veterans and Military that are currently serving.

Experience with rep. was 100% positive. She was polite and helpful. HOWEVER, it is now the end of the day and I called at 8:30 am. I got an email stating that someone would get back to me within 48 hours! So I am sitting with a leaking toilet until they “find” someone. Then. It will take a couple of more days until that person can come. So it could be 4-6 days before my toilet is fixed. Disgraceful. Never would have signed up if I had known this before.

In these extra-trying times, it was a surprise and a pleasure to have a customer service agent IMMEDIATELY answer the phone call I made. He resolved the issue very quickly. We are new customers, so we haven't needed to place a service request yet. So far, I am a happy customer!

I had National Fidelity Home Warranty for a couple of years and the experience wasn't bad, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to look around since my contract was going to expire in a month. I found Select and it was rated highly with more coverage, a cheaper annual rate and cheaper service calls, so I figured what the hell, why not. Ended up being almost half the annual fee as NFHW. So far I am happy but I guess time will tell. They do offer an anytime cancellation options which makes me feel better.

Very helpful responses to our questions about our new home warranty policy. I hope we don’t need to use it, but if something breaks it feels like we are in good hands! The price for the coverage seems reasonable compared to other companies as well. It was also very easy to sign up for the coverage.

This seems like a great service and something you should be able to pay for and have peace of mind that they'll do what your policy states they'll do. Unfortunately that's not the case. I've been dealing with getting a claim approved and a technician out to fix our heater (which is covered in our platinum package). It is a boiler unit and I've given select the model number now over a half dozen times. They've rejected my claim claiming this an HVAC unit and quoting a part of the pick that has nothing to do with this type of heater. This is either gross incompetence or corruption from a typical low life company who has no problem taking your money, but not staying true on their end. From what I've seen stay clear and save your money! I'll be letting the multiple family members and friends I've suggested this company to when I signed up that their service is bogus and to cancel ASAP!

The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable about their product. I have had home warranty policies in the past and the one I chose with Select has been the best value I've seen. With multiple year options and locked in prices in future years they seem to provide a very good product.

I did a lot of comparative shopping and Select offers great coverage at a great price. The multi-year options are great and offer a lot of flexibility, the service is one of the lowest I found. The customer representative I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to everyone to check them out.

We are very excited about having coverage from Select Home Warranty. They had the best deal for the best price. Customer service was great when they called to confirm all of the information. They were so good that they even convinced us to pay for the year in full versus monthly because we would save so much more!

Never use this company. They will do anything not to honor a claim. We had a blower motor go out on our main AC unit for which we filed a claim. On our secondary AC unit there was a condensation leak for which we never filed a claim, but because the technician wrote down both problems on the same invoice Select would not honor the blown blower motor on the main unit. Plus, the technician they sent (who was a week late) never filed a diagnosis with Select. I paid $45 for nothing. Select wouldn't even reimburse me for their failure. Please don't use their services; you'll be taken to the cleaners!

Select Home Warranty is a scam. I purchased a 5 year plan for over $1700. I was told it was VIP coverage. When my $3600 refrigerator broke beyond repair, they wanted to give me $350! But only after sending them a receipt and a completed form. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I was lied to by them. They told me on the phone that both of my air conditioners was covered with my policy and now they told me only one is which would be the main floor. I was also told that have plenty of contractors in my area and when I put in a claim they said they don't have anyone in my area to service me that I would have to find someone on my own. I put in a claim and they denied it. I asked for a full refund and they said there is a cancel fee.

I raised a claim regarding my AC. No response even after 3 weeks. Texas summer without AC. Every time I tried to call the customer care they say you would get a response with 1-2 business days. Please don't waste your money with Select Home Warranty.

Sold my condo and had paid Select Home Warranty in full for one year. Called to request a refund check for the remaining 7 months, and went directly to voicemail. After two weeks, and many voicemails that I left, I finally got an e-mail from a man by the name of James ** who said he would be glad to help me. A few days later he told me he had handled the matter and I should be receiving the refund check soon. I did receive a check in the amount of $218.35 (they charge $75 just to cancel).

When I called for a quote ZACH made me feel I was getting a good deal. He gave me a quote. Told me to shop the others. Wasn't pushy at all which sold me. I had already called around. Then when I was signing up...he gave me an even better deal by paying in advance. Though I haven't used the warranty service yet... I feel I bought with confidence.

He was clear in providing policy information and clear on pricing and coverage. I talked to other companies. Select Home Warranty had the best offerings in coverage and price and Allan made it an easy decision.

I called to get my contract, since my Realtor bought the policy for my new home and they didn't have my email address. I was surprised my call was answered within minutes. The rep explained that Select does business via their website or over the phone. I was emailed my contract within an hour or so. I found it easy to read and understand. This is a great way to control unexpected expenses, especially when you've just purchased a home and you can't afford costly surprises. I am grateful to my Realtor for providing this, because I didn't know anything about home warranties. I plan on renewing when my contract is up. The peace of mind is worth it!!

My AC condenser is deteriorating to the point of leaking coolant is leaking. Having initially ruled on the coolant leak they are now reconsidering the real problem, deterioration. The staff I spoke with for the reconsideration was 100% professional and concentrated on customer service. I would recommend this company and the available services and policies to all.

He offered more than I asked for - adapting our plan for seniors and a veteran. I am very happy with his customer service and this plan, as I understand it, for our home needs in the future.

Filed a claim with Select Home Warranty for a repair of our well pump. The process was fairly smooth. We sort of went around the usual process since we had called a tech out prior to getting a claim submitted but SHW worked with us and we were able to get a claim number and repair was done while our tech was there. Couple of things to be aware of. If you use your own repair person you will have to pay upfront and wait to be reimbursed which could take about 30 days. Also, sometimes the wait times can be long to update claims and there is no automated call back process. They really should look into implementing this.

I have always had the very best experience when dealing with SHW customer service. They are helpful and reassuring my problems will get handled quickly and efficiently. Although I did not have all the information regarding model number and serial number, I was able to place my claim. Thank you

Customer rep was very courteous and asked if I was a senior citizen which allowed me to save money by getting a policy that covered 6 years. He informed that the policy I was buying was transferable if I were to sell the house and that the deductible on the policy would not increase. Lastly, that if I was no longer around she would not have to worry about appliance repairs or other problems that are covered under this policy.

This company had amazing reviews. Thats' why I went with them. The agent was so nice and friendly, spoke English always a bonus! From start to finish setting up a new contract took less than 10mins. They didn't try to pressure me in the extra savings. Although I did appreciate the offer. Stop shopping and just sign up now!

I was very impressed with Bryan's knowledge and explanations of Select Home Warranty's different plans and programs. I signed up for the service and hopefully I will never have to use it but if I do I am confident Bryan and Select will provide the service needed. I have had home warranties before and have not had very good experience with them. I was assured by Bryan that if I am not satisfied with their service I can cancel at any time without paying any money, only for the months the plan was in effect.

Thus far I feel very confident about the decision I have made to move forward in purchasing a home warranty. I will hope that in the event I am in need of any services that the company is proactive as they are when demanding their payment. Even though our issue was not covered under this warranty, we were given detailed information that will help us make the necessary decision we need to have this issue resolved.

The sign up for this service was easy. I had a very difficult time in receiving the actual copy of the policy and had to call your customer service number three times until I finally got the copy of the policy. Overall I hope this policy gives my husband and I the coverage we need. The proof of the pudding will be if it becomes necessary to file a claim with your company.

Seems to be bad grounding from the dryer to wall. Wife got shocked when transferring clothes from washer to dryer. Damp clothing were leaning across water and dryer.
