The service representative contacted us the very next morning to go over all the best options available to us that would fit our needs. He then went over all the different price options to find the best one to fit our needs. He was very corrigible and patient, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to cover their appliances.

No hot water pours inside the clothes washer when washing starts and continues even if the both valves of hot/cold water are opened. It is a long time for me and tenant to wait for 24-48 hours. I hope we can get a resolution within 24 hours. I expect to receive an email reply within 5 hours. I called your customer service representative, as you returned an email reply after I waited for it more than 5 hours.

Bruce was great! He explained everything that I needed to know. Your plan is terrific. Bruce should get a raise. I feel safe in my new home with the coverage that I just purchased. The representative explained the coverage for each plan in details and also provided payment flexibility. He was very professional and answered all my questions with regards to plan and services offered. The only area I would recommend improvement is to give time for customers to get back rather than creating a situation where customer need to make a decision right away otherwise one would lose the deal. After shopping around and being a bit hounded by telemarketers Select Home Warranty came up with a 5-6 year plan that was too good to pass up. Ask them about multi-year plans. You will not be disappointed by the rate, the coverage, and the service charge. If their customer service is as good as it was on the sales call I will be a happy customer well beyond five years.

If you like fighting hours over the phone for every claim you file, and getting denied before the details are even provided, choose Select Home Warranty. This program was purchased by my mil for her home in August. Before she bought 3 years of service, she asked the salesman if boilers were covered. He assured her they were. That is the only heating system in the house. Three months into the program, one of the valves in the boiler wouldn't turn on. She called Select Home Warranty to see if there was a protocol for repairs since she had not received the promised policy handbook after asking for it 5 times over the past 3 months. They opened up a claim at that time.She was told she could use the company that had serviced it last. So she went forward with an appointment with them. They came, they ordered parts, and came back to repair.

It was extremely easy in speaking with Tom in regards to getting a new home warranty. He answered all my questions with ease. Got 14 months coverage for 12 month cost. I hope I never have to use this warranty, but as we know some items just fail after years of use.

Garage door needs to be replaced. It's. Old. And falling apart. I would much prefer to speak to someone in the United States. The gentleman in the Philippines kept saying “garage opener“. It's the DOOR that’s falling apart. The gentleman I talked to was nice but I’m not sure he understood. The door is old and falling apart.

Great customer service thus far. I spoke with few different companies and found that Select Warranty and the employee I spoke with is the most knowledgeable and patient out of them all! Very accommodating and answered all my questions and concerns. Needless to say I am going with this service and company.

I reviewed several home warranty companies in my area and was going to go with another company but when I called Select, the customer service was great and the value for services provided was less than I expected to pay. The customer service representative did not do a hard sale which I appreciate and his method of sale was why I decided to go with Select. Also the ratings for this area are 4 star.

The customer Service representatives were very efficient and thorough to follow up with me both phone and via email and offered very competitive prices. I was very impressed with their thoroughness and pleasant manner in talking with him over the phone. They were able to offer me additional discount options to try and offer me additional savings which was very much appreciated.

They offered $95 on a $550 repair. I bought a 5-year plan for $2749. I asked for a refund and they charged me for a 1-year warranty $750 and charged for 3 services calls $705 while under warranty and $75 cancellation fee.

I have enrolled in a Home Warranty years ago and have now decided on Select Home Warranty for our new home. I found that the price quoted for the coverage to be very fair. The agent was thoughtful and offered good information for me to make my decision. All in all, I feel that this product is exactly what we are looking for at this time.

My Trane heater went out and we have only been in the house for 2 weeks. I called Select Home Warranty. They were fast, and polite. They were able to help set up a claim. The two representatives I spoke with were very helpful in walking me thru the entire claim process. Along with answering my questions on the process of getting a claim and my heater fixed.

I called the warranty number. They were very professional. The refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. They scheduled a repairman to come. It took one week for the appointment. Repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. He had to order a part. Part was delivered to our home. Appointment for the Repairman was scheduled about a week out. Repairman came and replaced the part. The only complaint I have was it took two weeks for us to get our refrigerator back in order. I’m sure COVID had a part in the delay.

The representative is very knowledgeable and patient. Explained everything with clarity and provided me the exact services that is needed by my house. My house has an above ground spa that is typically not covered by others but SHW did. I like the flexibility of SHW’s plan that allowed me to tailor very specific items in my contract.

The electric panel on my stove was fried during an electric storm. Because the panel controls the oven, I was left without an oven. Select Home Warranty sent someone from Sears Appliance Repair. Sears ordered the expensive part, and Select agreed to cover it. When the part arrived it took Sears a while to return, but I called Select and the job was performed quickly afterwards. It took a few weeks for repair due to the part, but select did everything possible to fix my panel and oven.

It was like pulling teeth to get my contract sent to me or to even showed what I ordered ... That being said… their pricing blows the other companies out of the water and nothing can be worse than American Home Shield which I had before … thanks to the lady I talked with today she finally got me going with my contracts.

I was searching for a home warranty company and had about five warranty that I wanted quotes. When Select called I was unsure of starting with this home warranty. There are certain items in my that I wanted coverage. The customer service agent assured me that my items were covered and that the turnaround time if I put in a claim would be efficient and quick. The Customer Service put my mind at ease and as a result I was very satisfied with my purchase.

The representative was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions very thoroughly. The plan we chose covers basically everything in the house plus free leak repairs on the roof. The price was great and we are very excited to work with them. I initially spoke to Mr. **, but when I decided to buy the warranty I encountered Mr. **. He's just ok but not so accommodating. though he followed the pricing that was quoted by Mr. **. The recent guy I spoke to is Mr. ** who is very helpful, acted immediately to my request compared to Mr. **. Mr. ** right away emailed the warranty package and answers to all my questioned. I will considered dealing with Mr. ** but I think he's from the accounts department. Thank you Mr. **!

He explained everything in detail, and even offered to split the yearly payment into two payments. He told me that my service call fee would only be $65 if on yearly plan, not $100 if monthly billing. I am VERY HAPPY with this phone call. :)

Refrig stopped cooling and ice maker quit. When submitting my claim, I listed the ice maker first and in the Add’l Info box I listed the lack of cooling. When speaking to them, they reminded me that I had not purchased coverage for the ice maker. AND as my negligence caused the claim to be denied, this also prevented them from covering the refrig lack of cooling, for which I DID have coverage. I later learned they have B rating from the BBB. DO NOT be deceived by SHW. They will seek ways to deny claims.

Have been sold BEST, offered extra free months for a good review, I was assured plenty technicians and quick service. No one wants to work for this company, they never pay and it’s a FRAUD. Stay away! They will promise you everything and they will never have technicians to come out for $75 so you end up paying at least $150! Had 4 claims in over 3 months properly documented, not a penny received from them. They twist you around their fine print and will not pay. Save your money, pay more and use a reliable company.

Since they made so many excuses to fix the plumbing problem that I had, they told me that it was not approved since it was the fixture, even though they didn't even go to see it. I asked to cancel the policy since I have never used it and they threatened me saying that they would send me their attorney since I had a contract with them. I bought it in August and they have a month of waiting to use it and we are at the beginning of October, they don't want to give me my credit, that for me indicates that the company is terrible and fraudulent. My understanding when I bought this policy was that I could cancel it at any time, especially if I have not used it even once. I have other policies with other companies and I have never had a problem with them, DO NOT used them. It is the worst and that is my personal opinion.

First time caller. Had a bad experience with other companies and Select Home Warranty was really good easy to work with. Person that helped me was very nice and worked with me. He helped me out through that whole process. Would recommend to any new home buyers or existing homeowners. Nice to have a peace of mind.

I just purchased a 3 year warranty and got 6 months free. I have not needed anything but they seem very nice, I will wait until something goes wrong and see what the wait is. But as it stands they seem to be top of the line, and reasonable in pricing.

No problems or hassle to file a new claim for closed claim on HVAC system from about 2 months ago. I was sick and we had car problems all summer. Just a lot of issues kept me unstable to schedule appointment for appliance/HVAC tech to come out. Customer service was fantastic with setting back up.

Ed ** provided lot of information and educated us on benefits having multi year policy to save significant policy premium (55 years and above @ home). He explained the covergae we are getting for Kitchen Appliances, washer dryer, garage door and so on... He also talked about giving an additional one year policy to make it 6 year policy for the price of 5 years. He also reduced the each time visit amount (Co Pay) from $75 to $ 60. Great service.

My AC stopped working, I made a claim on it, it was painless and simple. I was told to give them 24-48hrs. To my surprise they were out the same day. The tech said it needed to be replaced, I'm waiting on the response from Select for the outcome of it.

I enrolled in a new home warranty policy on a Saturday night, and by Sunday morning they contacted me. Bruce was so polite and thorough in explaining my policy, he offered months free if I paid in full, I explained my situation, I am disabled, live alone and on a very fixed income. Contacted company based upon their ratings and talked with a Sean **. He was very helpful in providing the details of the coverage of the policy and offered a reduced annual rate if paid in advance. Then he inquired if I was a Senior or a Veteran and when he told me I qualified for a further reduction in annual rate and it was set for life. I mean who the heck does that. I opted for a 5yr plan and am very happy with receiving a free year of coverage and a reduced service fee. Imagine that. Select Home Warranty really takes care of the elderly and Veterans and "I thank them for their service to veterans and elderly". It's about time we show our appreciation to company's that take care of us.

I received an email from this company and passed it on to my boyfriend who was unhappy with his home warranty company. He called to thank me and to tell me how happy he was, so I called the sales rep and wound up signing with them as well. I have been with my company for seven years and while I have generally received good service from them, there are many items they do not cover and it is much more expensive. I am really happy that we both got great coverage at a super price.

I called to get a quote on annual home warranty policy. The rep went through the options, and I was able to get a couple of discounts. The rep also pointed out something I missed on the website. It was the option to get multiple year coverage that was less annually than the single year, and I got the lowest per call cost they have. It was a good deal.

Dishwasher stopped operating in the middle of a cycle. The repair person scheduled a repair within 24 hrs and when he came out the dishwasher needed a part ordered. I called the salesperson twice during the week at his extension, requesting a return call. l was never called back. I sincerely hope your home service is FAR BETTER. It’s been more that 48 hours since initial call was made on above claim #. Have heard nothing or have I received an email identifying a contractor to repair the unit. The unit is not working. Scam. Scam. Scam.

At renewal I decided to shop my coverage. I googled the top 10 warranty companies and started calling. The man I spoke with at Select was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and took great care of me. Wanting apples to apples coverage, Select was hands down the best deal!!

I have submitted my claim in August and has not been resolved even after 2 months. I have to call them every day wasting 30 min of time. The customer service agents are amazing and bear my anguish and sympathize with me but unfortunately work never gets done. After a month, they send me parts which are wrong and I am going through this torture every day. I have 2 small kids and 2 dogs and are suffering for the last 2 months with them not fixing the issue. The mechanical company they send were very prompt and tried their best to help me. They even offered to put the parts needed for repair which could have fixed the issue in a week but Select Home Warranty company does not allow them to. They say they will send the parts and end up sending wrong parts.

Got a quote from Mitch ** who was very professional. I recommend you to talk to him of any quotations. He had given me 3 to 5 different options to review and discounts before I purchased the warranty. Everything was done on phone and he was quick in answering to all my questions.

Lucas was very quick to answer questions by email or calling. I never had to wait very long at all. I wanted a warranty that would cover more than the basic and give us peace of mind. I did research online and found a lot of companies offering home warranties. Most of the websites did not explain enough information to compare coverages. I was looking for roof and a/c coverages since those are the biggest expenses when they have issues. They offer roof leak protect free with premium package. Great coverages! Richard was remarkable. He should be the example of customer service for all companies. Also, the value of their home warranty is above average. Coverages are comparable to others, but if you purchase a longer contract term the value far outweighs anything anyone else is offering. It also decreases the premium that you must pay for each repair. So far, very impressed!

So far so good, I haven't had any claims but my brother uses these guys and everything is ok so far, I would recommend them to family and friends and anybody who wants a good deal on home warranties, and always getting extra months added, so win win all around, please cheak these guys out.

Called Select Warranty and wanted to know if my leaking Whirlpool Undersink water filter is covered. Support lady took my information and opened a claim so my question can be reviewed Service rep was very nice and accommodating. I called in the early morning. My call was picked up immediately. Service person told me she would enter the claim and I get a response by email.

They Called quickly after I requested quote, and gave great info. Look forward to seeing how this company responds to claims, and if they keep their word. Also, need to make sure confirmation email is sent.

This is the worst company I have ever come across. The HVAC blower stop working more than 2 weeks ago and they have been asking for excuses and today I got the email that I am approved for only $150 even the HVAC company gave more than $800 quote. I had to fix the issue myself a week ago. Can you imagine a company taking more than 2 weeks in summer to come back for issue. Also I complained for a water heater valve leaking and they said it is not covered even the contract says the "Water heater accessories are covered"

On Dec 8, 2020, I purchased a 5-year home warranty contract with Select Home Warranty for $1,925.00, which includes 30 days of waiting period and 12 months of free coverage, bringing the end date to Jan 7, 2027. My contract was supposed to provide me with an Executive VIP Membership and Platinum Care. On May 20, 2021, I submitted a service request for my oven which could not ignite immediately, causing a small amount of gas leakage.

Please avoid this Select Home Warranty, they promised everything to sign a contract, but when you file a claim they find every reason to refuse the coverage. You can go to Facebook and typing Select Home Warranty complaint, It will show a fan page Select Home Warranty Scams. And thousand people in there have the same situation with me. And the way they take care of the claim is not correctly as well. This is totally a scam and the other good reviews here you guys need to be careful that might not be the real one.

SHW provides intelligent sales information and makes their offerings and service sound great... but beware... once you have paid for a service plan, SHW switches to some of the worst business practices. I call it bait and switch.... providing so much misinformation and changing the process. Once you catch on, they will begin to hang up the phone mid call. The promise is to help get your appliance repaired and to cover the costs for covered items.

When something seems too good to be true..it usually is. I purchased a warranty from Select Home Warranty a few months ago, the rep I spoke with (Steven **) hyped it up like it was the best thing since sliced bread. Then when I tried to used it the truth of it came to light. They sell it as an Appliances package but when you try to use it you find out there’s a whole host of parts that isn’t covered (I’d say about 70%). They just told me I was approved to receive $95 for a $570 microwave that was only a year and a half old. And my refrigerator and upright freezer wasn’t covered.

Superior knowledge of their company policies and procedures from labor charges and ways to get them lower by choosing the right plan for me to use. All questions were answered satisfactorily. I was able to choose the plan for my family. I would definitely recommend Select to my friends in my neighborhood.

I submitted a claim for a leaking pipe within my wall inside my home. After securing my own plumbing company to diagnose and provide a quote, I was told that it would take 2-3 days for approval of the repair. Really??? On a water leak that could flood the house??

I'm happy with the deal that I got from Select Home Warranty. I wanted to ensure my properties were protected to avoid any surprise repairs. Speaking to the service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for. I am yet to use their services as there is a 30 day waiting period.

Seems like a good company so far. The escalation manager, Peter, was quite helpful on answering my detailed questions and correcting some mis-information I received from the salesman. To receive full coverage, which I had asked sales about, I found out from Peter would cost a bit more. He helped me get it set up properly.

I haven’t had service done yet, but had great customer service whilst looking for rates and best home warranty for my home! I really appreciated their time and effort to get me the best coverage that suited me most. If I would be to recommend I definitely would, they tried to help me get a better deal to even pay less and have more time with them, but it just wasn’t for me, it was a great offer however.

Texas is a bit strange for these companies. I was struggling to find a better company after a terrible experience with a competitor. This company gave me a great multi years deal plus months free for an amazing value. You can't beat these prices plus, the service is much better. Overall, I am happy with my decision.

I shopped for a new home warranty provider, and this one seemed like the best. We got a good long-term rate with a low service call payment. You hope you won't need to make a claim, but if you do you can rest easy that it won't cost an arm and a leg for a repair.

The agent spent a long time on the phone explaining everything in great length to my satisfaction and convinced me it was a good investment. I promptly received my contract with detailed information. The contract is worded well and easily understood. I am pleased that at any time I am not satisfied, I can cancel the contract and receive a prorated refund.

I researched home warranty companies extensively and Select is rated #1 for 2021 so I chose them after reviewing options for several companies. The only drawback was the high pressure sales on the call to upgrade to 5 years, then when declined to push for 3 years (all paid up front). I didn't go with either.

The Representative was friendly and enthusiastic. Somewhat pushy. But it was good to hear different options of discounts when I decided not to purchase. The Rep was knowledgeable with the different coverages. Hopefully he didn't exaggerate the coverage. There varies plans: Annual Plans, 3 year plans, and 5 years plan. I ended getting the 3 years plan to get the discounted service call.

I only just got my contract but I enjoyed speaking to Alex and having him answer my questions about the Warranty and how it works. I still have a few questions after going over the contract but one of his associates answered some today. The cost certainly seems reasonable as well as the deductible for the technician and his trip charge. Plus you have 30 days to evaluate the contract before it starts. With the poor quality and short lifetime of today's appliances the warranty seems to be a good deal.

The warranty seems to be fairly priced and straightforward. So far I'm very happy with the telephone customer service. After having read the agreement it appears that all my concerns have been met.

I was impressed by the salespeople ability to communicate using the King's English that I could understand, and their ability to quickly and clearly explain features of their system and their policy. I was happy to see clear value and cost savings in comparison to the contract, cost, and treatment I have been experiencing lately from this provider I have had for 18 years vs. the approach and customer service administration at SHW. I received the cost and benefit information about the policy I was considering quickly and accurate so I could make my decision about getting my new policy with SHW. Since I have not yet begun my coverage I can't comment at this time about their claim administration but was happy that I could talk directly to a live person about my claim submission and not be forced into a computer system or pay my deductible before I get to see a service contractor.

Our current home warranty provider decided to raise our annual fee even though we had no claims. We decided to check some other options and thankfully, we called Select. Looking forward to working with them long term. Sounds like they have a good three year plan for seniors and military.

Mr. Allen ** was the rep. He was quite courteous and knowledgeable in handling my renewal. He was very thorough in telling me about ways to structure my policy in order to save money (e.g., signing up for 3 years instead of yearly and save money on overall cost as well as the copay). I very much appreciate the expert help he provided.

I spoke with Mark today. He was very helpful at explaining to me home warranty coverage and getting me the best deal suggesting a three-year plan. Mark also got me 6 month extended warranty on this, which I LOVE free deals. Your company came recommended from a friend out of Kansas City.

Select Home Warranty has done well in their hiring of gracious and capable phone representatives. I continued, however, the cancellation of my policy because the financial decisions of the company have demonstrated that I am a target, not a valued customer. The company is deducting a much larger percentage from what I paid than the percentage of time I have left on the warranty I paid for. I'd rather work with a company that makes an effort to be fair to customers.

The agent was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my question, was able to assist with discounts as well. The coverage was a good cost for the amount paid if you get longer coverage to get a better deal. I feel that this policy will have better coverage than the competitors that did not cover anything.

I am hard of hearing so had my husband to call. He said they were very professional. He said that they were very helpful. And helpful, at first he said she was hard to understand, but the call got better. Just waiting for the tech. Now hope it's not too late when he calls or texts.

Salesperson Chase ** was very courteous. After having one horrible experience after another for the last 8 years with Fidelity, Chase answered my questions. Was very negative on appliance insurance companies. Hopefully they will do a much better job. Fidelity would keep me on hold for over two years and many times disconnect me.

The person l talked to was informative and really helpful. We got a better quote with Select. If you are looking to get a home warranty l suggest you call them before making a decision with someone else. The reason I put a 4 star is because I haven’t used it yet.

Jake helped just need the plan. Haven’t used it yet. So no input. Will have a better idea when I get to use the plan. Hopefully no time soon. Would like to receive a hard copy of the plan in the mail so I can read it. I have no more to say cause I never received the plan and haven’t need to call for any repairs.

My phone call was answered quickly and my questions were answered clearly. Belinda found my policy and emailed a Welcome Package and a PDF to me. She talked a little too fast for me to take notes and keep up. She assured me the PDF explained everything she'd verbally reviewed. The paperwork looks easy to understand.

I have done my research for home warranties and SHW seemed to have the better rates, with better add ons. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is I feel the sales rep was trying to get me to spend more than what I could afford, and when I really couldn't budge I felt rushed off the phone.

It was very helpful to work with Jeff ** and getting a very warranty for 5 years. He did assist us with the understanding of the monthly vs yearly warranty and the discounts received. We have been having issues with our current Home warranty company so hoping to have a much better warranty with Select Home Warranty.

Good insurance at reasonable price. Customer service is very helpful. The deductibles are low and what is covered is excellent. I am very satisfied customer so far. It was not explained to that we would have to pay an additional $75 with a tech visit, in addition to what we pay each month but the tech was nice and able to fix our AC unit upstairs. The rep that I spoke with during this time apologized for the lady who seemed to not have patience with me in explaining everything prior to.
