I just closed the quote with Select Home. Their sales offered me a deal that I cannot deny! I checked online for top home warranty companies, and in almost all the reports - Select Home is on the top. So, I would definitely recommend to consider them. Also, I'm hoping their service would be as good as their sales. Keeping my fingers crossed. For now, I'm happy with the deal, when compared to other warranty companies around.

Jake ** was great help as I am a first time home buyer and had several questions. He walked through the different options and was able to work with me on the budget I had. He was very responsive and easy to work with. Definitely will keep him and select home warranty in mind when talking to others looking for coverage.

I just ordered a Home Warranty Plan with Select Home Warranty. They were rated #1 by Consumer Advocate online services. I had called a few companies and Select had the best price and value. They cover everything in your home for the price of 1 appliance. I highly recommend Select.

Called to submit a claim, and the representative was very helpful. Their follow-up was amazing as I received a text message, email, and telephone call to let me know the day and 4 hour window the repair was scheduled for within the first hour. This wasn't the case with my previous home warranty company.

The representative was very informative. Rep Answered all of my questions. There were Different options that were offered to choose from. Offering Good and competitive coverage with optional add ons for a reasonable price. Discount offers available for first time home buyers. Discounts for purchasing multiple years of coverage. Great customer service. Will Recommend to family and friends.

My most recent interaction to renew our service contract with Steven ** was very positive. He explained what was involved, all available discounts and answered all my questions. Some of my other interactions with people when I have filed claims in the past have not been so positive; part of the reason is that they are in another country and have a difficult time with the English language.

Overall, I was pleased with Select Home Warranty. They contacted me immediately, before I even had time to review the online quote. The representative gave me several options that were more cost effective than the price I pulled up, and discussed the benefits of each one. He wasn't pushy, but did try to steer me towards the long-term option, so a little salesy, but not too bad. The value is definitely there over other options I checked into, so now we will see how their service is when something breaks down in the future. I expect it will be similar to our other experiences with home warranties. I'll appreciate the cost savings that this one provides!

Spoke with Connor. He did a great job explaining all our options. We are new homeowners and our realtor recommended to get a home warranty to cover things homeowners insurance doesn't. We are very pleased with service so far, he even offered veteran options, though we just went with the yearly plan for now.

Whole warranty program is a HUGE SCAM! Nothing is covered. Poor customer service. Forget trying to get a manager. I bought the platinum plan. Tub was leaking. The technician couldn't find the leak and cut through ceiling, which cost a lot extra. To find out one of my knobs just needed to be tightened and I had to hire someone else to fix the ceiling.

Moe ** from Select Home Warranty did an awesome job with my case. He answered all questions and gave thorough explanations of all services products and discounts offered. I highly recommend Select Home Warranty and technician Moe ** for future business consideration.

This company is a SCAM. Save yourself money, and don't get a warranty from them. My furnace went out and they refused to let my service provider fix it until they "researched the parts". It took a MONTH. I had to sleep in a freezing cold house for a month so they could research parts. I called multiple times a day and would only get told "Give us another business day or 2". I finally got someone on the phone that said they couldn't research the parts because they didn't have the part number. When I asked why, they said "Oh, we just haven't called and asked for it yet". They do this on purpose to try to get you to go ahead and pay for the service so that they don't have to reimburse you. In the end, they didn't even cover the entire fix, and I had to pay extra. I have been trying to cancel my policy and get a prorated refund, but they have so many "fees and deductions" that I'm only getting 35% back from a 5 year contract that I only had for 1 year.

I purchased a Select Home Warranty on 1/1/2022 policy # **** and I had to cancel it on March 1, 2022 due to breach of contract on/about 2/28/2022 in that SHW refused repairs on a formerly fully functional HVAC system. They did authorize repairs of the furnace but refused all repairs on the A/C claiming it was not covered due to maintenance. I filed a new claim on the AC unit itself as instructed by the repair technician but corporate at SHW refused the claim on/about March 1, 2022. I have paid SHW a total of $149.49 over 60 days which I am requesting that they refund immediately. However they refused to do so stating I still owe an additional $75 as a cancellation fee. These guy are complete rip offs. Save your money for a different company.

I am extremely disappointed in the integrity of this company. When I signed up, I felt confident in my purchase and that I was making a great financial decision. Unbeknownst to me, I did not receive the fine print stating that they only cover up to $500 for projects (such as broken duct work that was estimated $1,450 to fix) and if there is any mention of maintenance work, in addition to the issue at hand on the estimate, they will automatically deny the claim, leaving you responsible to fix the entire issue yourself. Once a claim is denied, you can't open up a claim on the same system again.

I talked with two different people. Both were consistent with their quotes. I hope they are as good at their word when I need a repair! I was looking for specifically well pump coverage, septic system, and water softener coverage. They will satisfy my needs as a senior citizen.

They are like stalkers when you first call to inquire about the plans. They definitely try to bully you into buying one before letting you off the phone. Then they call you day and night and weekends to try to get you to sign on. Promising the moon... 24 hour sevice even in holidays always being available high replacement values etc.... Well once they get your money they then put you through the mull if you try to even get a service call. Not only do they farm the calls out to the Philippines at that point but you must answer a series of ridiculous questions and then the rep says they will call you to schedule. They never do... You must call then so much just to get a sevice guy scheduled. Then they downgrade everything to a ridiculous amount of what they will cover. It's such a scam!!!! And they also tell you they get a A plus on BBB but check it.... So not true..In fact they have thousands of consumer complaints!!!!

The representative from Select Home Warranty was professional and pleasant to deal with in starting our Home Warranty with their company. Very easy to deal with. They were very helpful in outlining the details of the program and all aspects of the Warranty system. I would not hesitate in recommending them to a friend in the future.

The representative I spoke with today was very helpful and courteous. He explained a variety of options for our renewal and checked with his manager to be sure he was offering the most attractive package. I also appreciated that I was not kept waiting more than for a very brief period, while I was being connected to the representative.

Jake was very informative and helpful in explaining the best contract for my needs. He explained the different plans and provide info on how each one would serve me. We agreed on a plan and then Jake looked for any discounts that could be applied. He successfully found a couple to be applied.

I was considering to renew my home warranty. I reviewed several offers from other companies. When I called to Barry he was very helpful, explained everything about warranty and offered additional discount for seniors, also offered 2 years with additional free 6 month. That made his offer more outstanding than from other companies. The process was very easy and clearly explained. It was pleasure to talk with Barry.

Fred was very helpful in setting up my new contract. He told me about offers, and was very polite when I declined them. I also told him about previous experience with another company, and he explained that Select provides much better service than my previous company. I think I'm off to a great start with Select!

Just want to say Moe at Select Home Warranty was very helpful and explained the whole process completely. He made me feel confident I made the right choice in Home Warranty. Fast and easy home warranty. I was looking for coverage after my washing machine failed and ended up costing me way more than I should have paid. The person I talked to was very helpful and understanding. I got enough coverage to cover everything at a better price than the basic plan.

I was searching online and this company pop up. I entered my information and company called me. The salemen talks a lot, other than that he gives good information. He gives the plan for multiple year, but I just decide to buy for one year. I just bought the plan for our new house, but hope that their service going forward will be good.

Isaac was very Informative and confident in the information he was giving me. He went above and beyond to get me the best rate possible. He listened to the information I was telling him about my current plan expiring and made the new one start same day, so I’m not without coverage. He tried to get additional discounts for military or elderly, neither of which applied but I appreciate the effort.

Gas furnace was not turning on. SHW connected me with a local HVAC that scheduled a tech. Tech identified one problem and ordered a part, but upon installing it, discovered another broken item. Order that part and fixed the unit on the second visit. Only charged me for on "install".

Described the plan back to me, did a great job with giving us the pricing and understood that My wife and I needed to discuss the possible multi year plan. He was great with the purchase and the process of doing it. I am glad he brought it back to our attention for the future of the plan and trying to save us money.

I needed to review the service contract. This was sent immediately via email. The agent was helpful and courteous. The coverage is comprehensive and clearly outlined in the document. All kitchen appliances are covered, as well as plumbing, central air conditioning, electrical boxes, garbage disposal, ceiling fans, garage door openers, ducts, and pool heater equipment.

We have not had to use a claim yet, but the sign up process was quick and easy. Having the name and number of a rep to answer any questions and help with any issues is a plus.

Purchase Platinum care policy for one year for my grandmother, 91 years old in OH. We paid $474.99. We requested a service - clothes washer machine repair in Dec 2021. Through December we repeatedly tried to get assistance having someone see the washer machine. Select Home Warranty sent an email on 22 Dec 21 apologizing for the delay. They finally sent Someone in January 2022, who determined the problem was the washer timer.

I had quite a few questions which Daniel answered for me. Stated if I had more question I could call. I asked about hidden cost, and who would do the work if I had a problem. I like when he said they had trained people in my area, that would do the work. That takes care of the hassle about trying to find a repairman. If I have any complaints, I will be the first to call.

So far so good.. The phone call went well, but now I’m hoping my water heater will be fixed and covered as promised and it won’t cost me an arm and a leg. That was the whole reason for getting the warranty in the first place, was for unexpected issues like this.

My garage door repair was very efficient and I would have given 5 stars. The only reason I downgraded is that I was dismayed that a leaking water heater was an exclusion. Who says they cover water heaters and exclude leaks. That's pretty petty. My prior policy covered a leaking water heater.

Wall oven stopped working. Contacted Select Home Warranty to come out and take a look. They sent a repair person who was unable to work on our oven. Company had us contact a repair person and found it was unrepairable. Still working with the company to see what's next. Customer service was completely unreliable. Very difficult to understand the associate.

Have used this warranty once during initial period and were happy with the process. I would recommend a home warranty to anyone whom has limited bandwidth for surprise costs. Our dishwasher would have cost us nearly 500 dollars to fix without this warranty. Although most things are good in my home you never know what to expect when it comes to surprise bills. We got this initially with the purchase of our home, and decided at the renewal price, it was well worth it and decided to renew.

Had coverage for 30 days and was told I was not covered because it was not 60 days since we signed up. I’m very disappointed and feel like this warranty is not what we paid for. Apparently, we didn’t read the fine print that said replacements are not covered until 60 days after signing.

I put in for a quote and got a phone call shortly after and talked with customer service about all my options and it was very thorough. The rep walked me through several option I had until I found the best to fit my home. Will always stick with Select Home warranty for all my home warranty needs.

I'm sure that I will be happy with the service, as Bruce made me feel very comfortable and offered me incentives. Some of the Home Warranty companies I've had in the past don't even cover the area I live in anymore so I had to do some shopping. Turns out the third time is a charm.

I spoke with a customer service representative, and he was extremely helpful, and pleasant throughout the whole process. He was thorough and walked me through all of the steps that would follow the call. Although the issue that was calling to address ended up not being covered, I was still extremely happy with the service and the transparency when the representative was discussing my policy contract with me.

I've only just signed up, but Select Home Warranty was rated as #1 on the website I checked, but I've discovered different companies are rated as first depending on which one you check. But I received a call as soon as submitting the request for a quote. The gentleman on the call was very polite and informative. He was able to offer a good discount, and the cost is about half of my previous company.

Moe answer all of my questions and answered with more details. He asked if know of any more customers? I will asks around and give his name and number. I really enjoyed talking with Moe. My wife did I know him from somewhere else. I guess since we had a great talking to me.

I called them because my dryer went out. As soon as I noticed that, I called them and they answered the phone right away. They were very helpful. They send me an email with the claim number as soon as I talked to them. The RESPONSE was very fast with their response and no issues with the claiming process.

The call was good but haven’t heard back about scheduling an appointment. Would like a call back to check on progress of your contracted company. I have not heard anything concerning scheduling a repair. Would need to be informed of what company is going to be contacting me for repairs.

I had such an amazing customer service with Chase when purchasing my policy. Very good deal. I am so resistant to do things over the phone but he was so patient and answered all my questions, I am glad that I got to talk to him. I was very please with the customer service person. He offered me a great price and the service call fee was less than the other Home Warranty companies that I had contacted. I have not had a service call yet and I am still in the first 30 days before my contract starts so I have not had an experience of a service call yet. I hope when I do I will still be happy with my choice of Choice Home Warranty.

One of our HVAC units was not heating. The thermostat displayed "Wait" on the screen. The service technician opened the panel on the HVAC unit and discovered a wire had come loose. He reattached the wire, but was unsure why it had come loose. It appeared to have shorted. After reattaching the wire, the unit still did not work. He swapped out the thermostat with the unit upstairs, that was working, and it still didn't work. We replaced both thermostats to their original locations and both units began working. I was glad that everything was working, but the service technician had no idea why it stopped working in the first place or what caused it to begin working again. That concerns me as the problem may appear again. We'll hope for the best.

I bought a policy with this company after purchasing a new home. I made a claim for an air conditioning problem. A local firm were eventually sent to evaluate the situation. The firm advised there was indeed a problem and would sent the necessary quotes for repair to SHW. They also advised that SHW were "known" for always taking the repair option rather than replace, thus they provided two quotes for repair and/or replacement. SHW declined the claim saying that it was freon leak which was not covered. I contacted the repair company who advised that was true but what should be covered was the problems that created the freon leak. I sent an email to SHW contesting their findings to which I received an email asking me to call a specific number. This is where the non-existent customer service begins. The only person I could speak to was someone who did nothing more than repeat the contents of the previous email.

First time I used them, they refused to come fix two ceiling fans and wanted to give me $40. They were both new and cost me $500. I finally called up management and they sent service. Recently I called because 2 outlets and 2 light switch panels would not work. Electricity AZ had a hard time finding the problem. They finally found it in the garage and after a little over 2 hrs fixed the switch in the garage and put everything back together. They said they would only pay 1 hr plus switch. I paid my $60 and now have to pay another $125 that they will not pay. They are liars and cheats. I plan on getting rid of them when my year is up. Bunch of scam artists.

So today I called to cancel this policy that has not helped me both times I had requested service and I find out that that they charge 75.00 to cancel the policy if you don't cancel on your anniversary date. I had this policy since 2020. Never used it because both times I called for assistance no help was given and here they want to also charge me to cancel the policy. Therefore people make sure you note this as you don't want to be charged for this cancellation. I called them for a roof leak no one ever came. I also submitted for my boiler that stop working in the middle of winter and since I called my gas company to come immediately to repair they did not want to reimburse as I could not wait for them to have someone come out due to winter. So please note this is something to consider when joining this home warranty. Blessings.

Choose them after former warranty company kept raising prices and the reviews were good and price was great - or so I thought. Turns out you get what you pay for. I bought the platinum plan in October, first issue I had a couple of months later was my water heater leaking. Submit a claim, don't hear anything do I call. Am told they do everything online (sales calls to upsell are apparently the exclusion) and my claim was denied because water heater leaks are not covered, only mechanical issues - not a plumber, but seems a leak is an indicator that there is a mechanical issue! Turns out they have an 18 page contract that is basically just a way for them to not cover anything. Former company had a 4 page contract. Also refused to send me the contract - only via email.

I had a water leak dripping down from my ceiling into my laundry room. Contacted Select Home Warranty to get a plumber out. The first plumber requested was a no show. So, I called into Select Home Warranty and requested another plumber. The second plumber did come out and claimed the issued was resolved. Well, I started seeing water dripping again. I called the plumber back out. This time he advised me that he will get it repaired. The plumber cut a hole in my ceiling and did the repairs. When asked who will repair the ceiling. The plumber told me to contact Select Home Warranty.

SHADY COMPANY STAY AWAY. This is nothing but a front for a bunch of criminals that will take your money and not repair what was initially promised. I will start by saying I switched from American Home Shield who was absolutely horrible to a company that was even worse come to find out. I literally think this is nothing but a money laundering organization disguised as a Home Warranty Company. You will only speak with an American when signing up and after that it is all foreigners that can barely speak and understand English.

It all started at the end of July 2021. Called in and submitted a claim for a sprinkler that would not turn off. Select Home Warranty (SHW) called a repairman to come out. The contracting company canceled and rescheduled 9 times before finally coming out. And I paid $75. They kept making excuses why they had to reschedule. I’ve finally had enough since I took 9 different days off to meet with them. I called SHW to get another contractor. They provided a business that was no longer in business and said they would look for another. SHW never contacted me back. Kept calling to the end of 2021, and they kept suggesting I hire my own and I will be reimbursed. I refused many times because why am I doing their job.

They seem to be a good company. They had better reviews than other home Warranty companies. Definitely better customer service. I would recommend this company. They cover all the major things in the house plus my hot tub. Had the best price. Very easy to do business with. Easy to renew

Kudos to Select Home Warranty for giving me the opportunity to have great service with a great product at a great value and additional months.

Sean ** was great. I needed a policy added quickly to take advantage of a seller credit during a home purchase. He worked with me to get a fantastic rate. Sent the information needed for the title company within minutes. I had already researched a few companies...This one seems to have the best rate to coverage available. If claim customer service is as good as purchasing service... I'll be a happy customer!

I was looking around for a home warranty company that had great coverage and fair pricing. I landed on Select Home Warranty and an agent contacted me while I was filling out the application. He was able to get me a great deal on the additional upgraded coverage I needed for my home at an unbeatable price. He was friendly, not pushy, and professionally answered all my questions. So I have had this warranty for about 10 months and dealing with them is amazingly painful. From their claims people in the Philippines to their use of contactors that suck where do you get started. I have been battling with them for over 2 months to get my dishwasher fixed. They sent A&E Factory service out to look at this 7 year old formerly top-line Bosch Dishwasher and the same problem just continues. Not one service person actually fixed the problem, and after 2+ months they finally refused to fix the problem and only offered me $200.

The sales person was very professional and great to work with and I got the five years plan to save, overall very good experience to work with this company. I was impressed with all the coverages as well, the promotions were very good as well. They have very good rating and customer satisfaction on the internet as well. I recommend this company to everyone.

I called for the first time today for a quote and Moe was very professional friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions. I have been calling various companies for quotes and this one seemed the best value. I am looking forward to good business and I will refer them to friends.

The call to sign up was quick and easy. Jake helped fairly quickly and got me signed up. I can’t really comment on the service because I literally just signed up today, I haven’t heard any bad reviews prior however, so I look forward to the service relationship. They try to get a decent deal and of course make a sale so go in knowing what you want.

My heat isn't working.. They set me up for 75 bucks. Great phone call service.. Now we wait and see how the rest is handled. First time using the service so we shall see but for 75 bucks instead of the massive fees that would have incurred with this on my own.. Can't be that bad.

I did some research online and chose Select Home Warranty because of coverage and pricing. Alan (rep from New Jersey) did a great job of answering my numerous questions & scenarios I presented. He told me of the various offers available from the 1 year (actually 14 months) to the 3, 5 and 10 year options. I chose the 3 year plan as that fit my budgeting.

Company had everything we were looking for to cover repair/replacement in our new home. Price and terms are very reasonable. Alan was very attentive and knowledgeable. Don't know what else to say as we have not used this program yet. Time will tell. Thank you very much.

Agent was knowledgeable and responsive to my concerns. The warranty described will cover the systems and appliances. The ability to try out the program risk-free is of great value. Also the fact that the company is highly rated in PA is a necessity. If the claims department is as helpful as the sales department, I expect no problems if one arises.

I had a good experience signing up for our warranty today. Very nice customer service. Answered all questions and gave us a decent deal. I hope service will be just as good. We will see. Seemed to have good reviews online and I didn't like our old warranty company. We should be getting almost everything covered and should give us some peace of mind.

I called about a new purchase in Texas. Agent helped me to find additional discounts and longer plans. The agent sent me both an invoice and the contract via email. The emailed contract took a little longer than I expected. He probably should have warned me about that. I hope the warranty works as smoothly as the sales call.

Just purchased a Select Home Warranty and look forward to getting started. Everything has been smooth sailing so far, good customer service and easy to get signed up. Paid for the one year plan in advance and it took our service calls down to $65. Very reasonable for a home warranty service call.

I purchased this policy as a WARRANTY. My 2 1/2 year old LG washer was having some issues. I called and A&E (Sears) came out. He diagnosed that it need a new board. SHW denied the claim. Offering us 200$ to replace or repair. The part is 350$. We paid 1500$ for the washer and we purchased a warranty just in case there were in problems. They also did this to me on my French door refrigerator. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. I have had other companies and appliances were repaired or replaced at an equal credit. I will be going back to that company. I will also be contacting the BBB as I believe they are scamming people.

Wonderful service. Mark ** gave me wonderful service and offered additional discounts when I was hesitant about choosing the 6 year option. With their current promotions and premium coverage, I don't know why you wouldn't choose this company. I look forward to when I need home repairs. Additionally, I got 5 years plus one year free. While it was a lot up front, it was worth it in the long run. This is especially true because you can transfer your warranty to a new property. Finally, he made it so my deductible was the lowest possible. They're willing to work with you if you follow up and you're transparent.

The agent Peter ** gave me a good deal and even made it better after learning that I am a senior citizen. He explained to me the different deals and pricing and gave me a choice of coverage, along with certain discounts that come with each different coverage. Also he lowered the incident price compared to what I am paying with my present home warranty.

Overall the rep was helpful, we just had a hard time communicating due to the phone connection. The door hinge came apart and now it needs to be repaired. The process went pretty fast. Just hoping a tech contacts me soon, as the door does not close completely and I am afraid something may get in my garage.

Updated on 01/26/2022: Hi...This is a follow up to this morning's comment on calling Select to tell them my furnace was not working. I called them at about 8:35. At 11:30 I received a call from the tech to tell me he was "on the way". At 12:45 the repairman had that furnace humming. Three times at bat so far for Select. Three homeruns. Thank you Select!!!

The gentleman I spoke to, Fred **, was extremely clear in his explanations and truly gave great advice and I took him up on a great contract with excellent pricing considering what the competition is offering. I cannot comment on how the contract will work out but only I can say is that I was pleased with the offer and pricing. Hope all goes well.

Requesting copy of warranty to be sent to me for the past yr or so, so Please send ASAP, not having good luck with your policy, would Not cover furnace, or hot water tank, have nothing else to say, sent copy of warranty, been waiting for a yr or so.

I will not be able to fairly rate this service since we just purchased it and the contract takes effect in February. As for the conditions of the service contract, we are quite happy. The company is providing six years for the price of five due to a special offer. The only negative point about the entire conversation was the hard sell from the rep. We both hold professional degrees and found this a bit off-putting.

Tom, the agent I spoke to was incredibly helpful. He helped me get the most for our money with the most coverage by simply asking pertinent questions. He made me feel very confident about your services. He helped me compare it with my current program and pointed out the advantages in your program. Since I am a very senior citizen, I sincerely appreciated his assistance.

When I called to them about setting up my service they were very friendly and helpful. I was told when my service would begin and even gave me a break on my service fee. I wish I could have taken advantage of the multiyear deals, my finances were not able to support that at this time.

Mark was very helpful on the phone getting me the best coverage and for the best cost. He recommended a multiyear policy which locks in the cost and service fee.
