I was checking and comparing quotes for Home warranty and Eric contacted me from Select HW. He was very professional throughout the entire purchase process and helped me understand the policy as well as provided me his best rates and explained possible discounts that could be applied for multi year policy. I am satisfied so far with the purchase process. Since I have not requested for any service so far I cannot really comment on that aspect.

Sol was so kinda, patient, welcoming and well just great! I’m looking forward to this company because of him. The company I have now hasn’t been this nice in the last 5 years where he was in 5 mins. Let the new times begin.

From the time our sales representative, Mr. **, first answered my phone call. I was put totally at ease with the sales process! He explained the plan I requested with the additional coverage we wanted and gave us the purchase options available saving the most money with absolutely no pressure. I'm glad this home warranty can give me an extra month for free. I don't know if their service is good or not, but their fee is relatively low, but the $90 call service fee is higher than other home warranty companies.

All my claims were resolved in a timely manner. I happy with Select Home Warranty that is why I have renewed my subscription. I will continue to be with them. And also recommend to anyone in need of their services.

I recently purchased a new home and was concerned about home repair costs. I am single and not at all experienced with home repairs. This warranty was exactly what I was in need of. I was especially pleased with the fact that all appliances AND roof leaks are covered. This warranty has given me peace of mind.

After being with CHW over a year now, this is a new plan but the offer seemed like an offer that was better than the current company was offering. I was offered a yearly plan that would lower the actual monthly and save us some money!

Just purchased. Had some other company try and switch me. Told me to read fine print . I called back after read fine print. They were very helpful and I was taken through whole process. Thank you. My contractor friend recommended this company to me.

Provided me with details on every question I had for them. Very thorough and honest with all responses. Great experience. I used American Home Shield and Choice Warranty for over 25 years and finally found a company that will deliver what they advertised. AHS and CWS denied more claims than they approved and there was nothing the consumer could do about their negligence.

So, the house we bought came with this warranty. I called the other day, spoke with a rep who stated she'd send me the info. and after several days of getting nothing, we called in again. This time, the guy sent me the warranty info. very quickly. Kudos to the 2nd client rep., bah-humbug to the first client rep. I spoke with!

The representative was very helpful and polite. He explained all of my options with the policy and was not pushy. He accepted my decision and I was satisfied. I have been with this company for a year now and found them to be reliable and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Had to use a second repair company. Agent made sure it was part of the original claim so I would not be charged twice. Very professional. This is the second time I've used my warranty and both times I received excellent service.

Very patience in explanation of the protection service available for the house, as well as other plans available for us to choose to save money. He did not rush us to make a decision pertaining to the contract and protection services for appliances, a/c, plumbing, electrical, roof, heating and etc.

Overall, I was impressed with the details of this Select Home Warranty. The sales person explained everything well with good descriptions and went over all questions I had. I felt that the pricing was good as was the coverages. One of my main concerns was service- both the procedure for making a service request and the expediency with which the service contractor did the required work.

I decided to go with Select because they say in my area there is immediate service and the ability to use my own contractors. They also offer refrigerator, microwave, laundry along with major systems like AC, electrical, etc. I'm hopeful that choosing this company will be better than the last company.

The customer service agent is very helpful to identify the situation and clarify the contract. In addition, he's knowledgeable of the product that is offered and able to provide analysis on different level of product to help customer to make the right choice.

Got a quote online and the rep I got was very informative and accurate. He actually saved me money because I selected Septic, but didn't need it. Awesome experience! I currently pay 69 dollars per month, but with Select, they reduced my amount by a lot.

Please read contract as the salesmen over promise and lie about coverage even though they are on a recorded line. However, they were kind and patient and enjoyable to talk with. Will update with service experience at a later time.

Well I have not had to use their service yet but have signed up for a 1 year contract for what I feel is a good price, I have no experience to write this review of yet but everything has been very responsive so far.

My experience from calling was excellent. The agent was very professional and knowledgeable about the plans. The plan covered most of my home. The options were explained and all savings were discussed in detail. The experience took very little time to complete.

The man I spoke with was very friendly and super helpful. He answered any questions I had. He also explained every option in detail for me to understand, and got me the best deal he could! Very pleased with the service.

Belinda was great with explanations and details. Couldn't be happier! She is a good listener and informed me of more ways to save on my fees. Very Helpful and I will recommend Select to my family and friends. Also, getting her on the phone was easy with no language issues and the sound quality was also great.

The Sales Representative was friendly and well informed. He listened to what I needed and provided me with an unbelievable package! If this is any reflection of how they conduct all of their business I have definitely made the right choice.

The rate was better than online. The process was quick and easy. Received follow on email within minutes. My garage door opener isn't working, so I contact Select Home Warranty to schedule a repair. and Real Garage Door Service scheduled a new opener replacement. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase Select Home Warranty. This is my first purchase, and I wish I had known about it sooner. Customer service is friendly and patient. Select Home Warranty is required for any home.

Salesperson was Very helpful to customize our service contract and suggest right product. We have not used this contact or file claim but we are hoping the quality of service will be as good as promised. I will consider purchasing additional coverage once I have experience with their service.

Just enrolled in the Platinum program. Salesperson was informative and helpful. I have not had an opportunity to make use of the coverage and hope it will be as convenient as described. I have used a different company in the past, but was not satisfied with the customer service. Hopefully, my experience will be different with Select. I will update as appropriate.

I was burned by another Warranty company years ago and thought I'd never go back again. A friend convinced me to look into them after telling me about her luck. After weeks of research I decided to call Select Home Warranty. After talking with "Jake" I felt confident this was worth a try. They offered me an unbeatable rate. Of course the best news would be I don't need them, but in case I do, I must say I feel some relief.

Select Warranty makes it really easy to file a claim. They have an easy online process or phone number that you can get in touch with an agent right away. I received a confirmation email as soon as I filed the claim. They are very responsive and easy to work with.

One of my units went out last week and I called Shw and they tried to get tech. to check my unit and the quickest they could come out was like July 12. We are in a heat wave and I called and explained the situation to shw and they decided I could get my own tech. to diagnose problem. He is supposed to be here today at noon.

The person I talked to was very hard to understand. His English language was very broken. Made it very difficult for me. Coverage of policy seems good however this is my first time using it. ALL I CAN SAY IS UP TO THIS POINT everything seems good.

Fred with Select Home Warranty was great! I had just dealt with several other home warranty companies who tried high pressure sales and rudeness to get my business. Fred took his time, no pressure and was so informative. I really appreciated all the time he took to explain all of my questions! I feel very comfortable with my decision to sign on with Select!

The representative was very accommodating. He was able to understand the needs for my home. He was able to try and give me the best value with the competitive prices that are on the market now. He stated that I will not have any problems like previous home warranty companies that I’ve been with.

Since this is a new service contract, I'm not able to provide a true assessment of the Warranty Program. What I can say is that I was pleased with the representative taking the time to explain the various plans and pricing and the discounts offered. I am also pleased that I am able to cancel anytime for a full prorated refund. Only time will tell if they really back up what they say when I submit my first claim.

Great customer service, was calling to compare different companies and after speaking with the rep I decided to go with this company. Affordable plans as well. I especially liked the coverage for the roof leak which most companies do not offer or you have to pay extra.

The sales person in March was helpful. He made sure I understood what I was getting. I thought the final price was fair. I just wish there wasn't so much negotiating back and forth on price. A more streamlined approach would be appreciated.

It was great speaking with the customer care representative, who respected my time and answered all of my questions in full. I have not used the service yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, the company is well organized and responsive.

Fantastic pricing including friendly, customer service. Price for the package was unbelievable. We came from Fairfax, VA and another home warranty charged double the amount of what Select HW charges. With the 5-Yr Program we were able to lock-in rates (monthly/yearly rate and service call fee). Bruce ** (Select agent) helped us navigate and understand the programs. We were given a year-free (total of 6yrs). What’s also fantastic are their specials: 2 months free (first yr), $150 off for signing on, 1 month free if a survey is completed. Other pluses: open 24/7, nation-wide coverage, transferrable (to new home or to new owner), technician arrives within 24-hours, #1 in home warranty in the past 3 years.

Select Home warranty was easy to set up and representative was really helpful. He explained me the plan in details and made sure that I get what I am looking for. It was really quick response when you call them unlike other company which take minutes to attend your call.

The people we talked to were very helpful, explained things well, etc. We have been looking for a home warranty company because the previous company we had when we bought our home was not doing warranties anymore. I placed a call to SHW concerning my pump not working. For seniors using email to communicate everything is a little disturbing. It causes anxiety waiting to hear something. I know you can call and speak with someone however everything is email and you may not be sure if the things they need for you to do are right by the instructions they email to you. I worked it out and the phone person was helpful. I view customer service as talking with someone not email. I have not received results of my claim yet so I do not feel as though my answers are fully complete.

I debated whether or not to renew or try another company. After talking to the agent (he was very nice) I figured I'd give them another year. My last call for service was stressful when I was told I need an electrician, (for my stove/oven) and I knew I did not. All their electricians were busy so I had to bring in one that is a friend and had worked on the outlet that was in question. He tested it again and let your company know that there was nothing wrong with it. This then allowed the other company to come out. Unfortunately we needed my oven for a wedding cake so I just bought a new oven. I did not trust the company that came out. It seemed they weren't very knowledgeable or were just lazy.

Great customer service. Very personable and helpful. Answer all questions and made me feel positive I have the right Warranty business. They continue to send emails to make sure I'm kept up to date about my claim. All in all I would recommend their service to others.

At first I had bad experience with the customer service because they hang up on me just because I didn't want to do full payment at once. I just couldn't afford that now. And I try to do a claim but he told me that it's expiring on Monday and it was Friday so they don't work weekends. Then when I called back I spoke with nice gentleman that told me that it expires actually on July 18th. So it seems like the previous guys lie to me just to get me sign up now and pay full payment. But I called again and I got a monthly plan with someone else. I put 4 stars just because of my experience with previous customers service. I been with you guys now for 5 years.

I have found Select to be good thus far. I have not really had the need to use them all that much. However, when I have they are very prompt. Overall the experience has been a good one and hopefully will be the same throughout.

The gentleman that I talked to answered. All my questions was answered quickly. Sign-up was easy. The only issue I had was it took over 48 hours to get my contract and 4 request to finally get my contract emailed to me.

Compared multiple home warranties online and received free quotes; chose Select Home Warranty and was contacted by an account representative (Moe **) to go over my selection; not only was he helpful, he was able to help me pick an even better plan to help lock in an even lower rate!

Isaac was very helpful in doing our renewal. He explained in detail what it would cost, the additional months available and went over what the policy covers. I was not aware that roof repair was a part of our plan! He did a great job of keeping me as a customer for another year.

Lucas ** was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions immediately. He let me know my pricing options and I believe he was fair in the pricing. He provided his contact information, should I have further questions. He didn't try to rush me off the phone and demonstrated that his interest was in providing as much details possible and making sure I understood the coverage being offered.

I am currently holding a policy from another vendor, however, I have not satisfied with one of their services and an offer that they gave me for my renewal. Thus, I wanted to switch my home warranty company. I initially got a quote from online and I reached out via phone call to the sales dept. The representative matched other companies' offers with even more discounts. He clearly explained his offer and coverage, so I didn't have any doubts. His name is Richard and he is so kind for my understanding. Great experience compared to my previous vendor.

Elliott was helpful in laying out all the plan and payment options. I ended up with the one year option but Elliott did make it clear what my other options were. Select Home Warranty does offer a lot of great options for coverage, cost, and payment options.

I was impressed with the representative because he wanted to beat the price of another home warranty service I had contacted, and he did! He asked his manager if he could lower my rate when he found that I am a widow too. I signed up immediately. It feels good to know that my home is covered by Select Home Warranty.

Going on second week to fix simple ac. They do not trust their technician so after one week they decided to save 100.00 and send another? Min temp is 100 degrees here and without ac did not good. This week they even did not let speak to supervisor.

I have Airbnb rental properties and was experimenting with different warranty companies for each. Select Home Warranty is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Initially, the pricing looks inviting and clearly looks like the best deal "upfront". However, try to make a claim and it is a completely different story! They will find an excuse to wiggle out of every claim you try to make and also tell you that you have to pay an "add-on fee" which was not explained to you during the sales process. Besides that the wait time to get a human is outrageous and when you do get someone they have such a thick accent you struggle to understand what they are saying.

Select Home Warranty just to GARBAGE service to a completely different level and proved to me that they are nothing but a SCAM and a complete RIP OFF. First of all, when I called Select Home Warranty to buy a contract, they gave me a high price which I rejected. Then, they started to lower their prices, multiple times, which I rejected until we reached an offer that I thought was reasonable and within my budget. So, I went ahead and purchase their services. Mind you, I purchased their services on November of 2021 and they still haven't sent me the paperwork of anything like terms or conditions. Anyways, around eight months pass by and my fridge starts to have problems. It's not as cold as it used to be.

I called about my garage door, broken spring. They response was that the spring is not covered!! I have had other companies and they have all covered broken spring. The condenser of my refrigerator gave out, leaked the Freon. Their response: the condenser is not covered (cooling Mechanism of a refrigerator....lol), THEN WHY DO YOU COVER A REFRIGERATOR IF YOU DON'T COVER THE COOLING MECHANISM?!! And this was my second fridge that I had to buy extra coverage for!!

In Oct of 2021 the furnace quit working. I called Select and they promised to send someone but it took over 10 days. Select had lots of excuses. One excuse was the repair company couldn't find the house which is located on a city street. I called daily and talked to a foreign speaker. Always I was told they would expedite my repair. Finally a man came to the house. Said the furnace needed a part. Waited another week. Part was sent to my house. I then couldn't get the repairman to come back because he said Select never paid him for previous repairs at other houses.

I bought the contract based on the fact that items would be replaced if broken. My water heater broke and needed to be replaced. Instead of replacing the water heater, they only gave me the so called value. 175.00.

In a way they are scammers. They sell at a high level that they cover HVAC systems and you are covered for little fees, there are many clauses that suddenly disqualify you. Even as a platinum member, having multiple homes with them, when my AC broke within two years of replacement, they denied understanding my situation of the case. In addition, the certified contractor by Select asked to check Freon (double than I could get someone) for a way higher price. That was misguiding as the issue was with the outside unit (confirmed by the second opinion we got from an independent contractor). Do not go with Select unless you are ready to spend $4,000 out of pocket someday. Now they are giving me hard time to cancel my warranty.

We paid for their best package 600.00 for the year, that covers nothing, first claim ice maker that’s part of the refrigerator, was told it’s a stand alone and you have to pay extra at the beginning of your contract (it’s part of the refrigerator). Claim denied, next electrical problem. Still waiting on contractor. Filed claim in March. It’s now May. AC problem had to file claim three times and call because it was denied. Once again paid for their best package that actually covers nothing.

They don't mind taking your money but they DO NOT pay out on ANYTHING. I really should've checked them out before buying in because not only do they NOT Cover anything but when you cancel the policy because they don't cover hot water heaters, if you have more than 1 water heater or even dryers after years with them AND you have to pay to replace items you thought were covered, they charge you $75 on TOP of that to cancel the policy, even if you pay monthly. They're a horrible company and I Do Not believe I can trust Consumer Affairs anymore. This company alone has 5,000 complaints on the Better Business Bureau! Just Sayin'..

BE WARNED!! I had a platinum warranty which should have covered repair to my AC unit. The compressor has an issue that is causing it to trip the breaker. Additionally, according to the tech, the compressor and fan are supposed to come on at the same time, and they don't. When I submitted the claim, I was denied coverage because it was an "electrical issue", even though the problem is with the compressor itself, not the electricity being routed to the unit, and upon closer reading, they can deny your claim for anything at all if your unit has ever needed a repair. 10/10 DO NOT USE.

You CAN'T get a hold of them, you are trapped. I purchase the warranty with option of ice maker coverage. When I needed them, they said it wasn't covered. I submitted the claim and NEVER heard from them. I had to call SEVERAL times. The problem was never solved. Then, I wanted to cancel it! I could NEVER get a hold of them again. When I did, they did not want to give me my money back (even though they never done anything). I ended up canceling and also calling my credit card to report them. Actually, I never write any reviews but I thought I could help others somehow.

Representative was very polite, answered several questions about the different plans. He was very thorough, and I felt comfortable enough to sign up for the warranty. also felt comfortable to sign up for the 3 year plan which will suit my needs.

They are a much better value than the company I currently have. Select Home Warranty covers more things and is less expensive and it would seem has better customer service.

I called to get information on this home warranty company and was totally impressed and surprised with all that was covered. The agent took time to explain everything that was covered, the prices and the turnaround time that a repair tech would show up. He also explained in great detail about the different price programs. This representative was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Like I stated up above I was so impressed I switched to Select Home Warranty.

The Platinum Plan was amply inclusive. The confirming agent offered more ways to save. Definitely a customer friendly experience. I would definitely refer Select Home Warranty to ANYONE!!! Comparison shopping was conducted prior to selection, and no other company was with $100, even more with the incentives offered.

Very good policy. Was not happy with present company and signed up with Select. Very good price for 1 year of service.. Plan seems to cover needed items in my home. My appliances are only 2 years old/but you never know if a breakdown is coming.

So I've had a lot of running around with other Home Warranty companies. Did not care to renew. The price was higher as well. I hope all works out well with select Home Warranty.

Everything was explained clearly and I hope that if/when I need to make a claim, that this professionalism is present through that process, as well. Conner was very helpful explaining all the plans offered to veterans. He was knowledgeable about his product. I was satisfied with the plan I purchased. He helped me get a better rate because I was a veteran, and it's nice knowing I will be covered 3 1/2 years, as well as locking in my rate after this initial purchase.

I called the company, but was disconnected, but Ed Coleman called me!! He told me his last name, not just his first, gave me his tel number and assured me he would be my account rep. This is more personal service that I have ever received. He made me feel as if the company wanted to take care of my service needs without my having to beg for help as I experienced from Fidelity National Home Warranty, which I quit in frustration. Ed also gave me info on the senior rate and other useful info. He was professional and helpful!!!! I would easily recommend the company if it delivers as much as Ed promised.

My salesman Ed, was fine. He explained everything clearly and tried to upsell me, which was expected. My issue is with my payment. I SPECIFICALLY asked him to run my card as a CREDIT! Instead, he ran it as a debit! I'm furious!! Cassandra **.

Called the 1800 number and the claim was quick to file. Then it was fixed within a week! Happy to have my refrigerator back to normal!!! This is the third home warranty company I have used and I would recommend this company!

I spoke with Ray and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the questions I had for him. I let him know that I was needing a home warranty but under a tight budget seeing that I just lost my mother, and had asked him if I would be able to pay this warranty in installments, he was so nice and worked it out so I didn't have to pay the whole thing right away. I've been through three 'top ranked' warranty companies and this one will answer their phone but after that don't believe anything you're told - especially, "we'll get back to you in 1 to 2 days." After many phone calls regarding a $600 AC repair, they finally approved a $150 repair. I had already decided it was worth paying the full amount just not to deal with them anymore. Run away from this company.

My call required a second agents. I had to request (a supervisor). The supervisor was able to address my situation making the call successful. Unfortunately your first agent made me frustrated. I was not able to understand him. His extremely strong foreign accent needs correction. I spent more than 15 minutes asking him to repeat his statements to no avail. He simply lacks the ability to do his job. His annunciation of the English language is incomprehensible. He made my conversation with him a nightmare. I am thankful for him getting a supervisor for me. I requested a supervisor several times. Although the wait for the supervisor was long, it was worth it. The supervisor made the call a success.
