Knowing that if any of our appliances, AC, Heater, or any other important items stop working they are fully covered makes life easier. I signed up with Select Home Warranty today, I was very satisfied with the Customer Service Representative Daniel. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and courteous. All of my questions were answered before I signed up. The fee is very reasonable for the great coverage. I received my contract within minutes of signing up. It is very detailed and the process to submit a claim if needed seems very simple.

I was offered a great deal for 14 months worth of coverage. I had been looking for coverage since our current contract with another (disappointing) provider is expiring soon. I found Select Home Warranty offered the exact coverage I was looking for at a great price. I was also told by Select Home Warranty that Killeen, TX was one of their largest markets with many available technicians—or, if desired, I could use any qualified technician for my repairs. I bought their Premier Policy over the phone. I already had coverage with another company but the contract was almost up. I called Select for a comparison quote. Select agent was knowledgeable and friendly. I was sold! I called back about some fine print issue and again, they made the adjustment to the policy in a couple of minutes. They were very understanding. I feel very comfortable with their agents. I live in the desert and wanted details about their AC coverage. They put in writing what we discussed. No issue.

Zachary reach out to me to go over all my purchase options. He did a great job answering all me questions and explained all the payment plan options as well. He offered a monthly, yearly, three year, and five your payment option. He also went over each of the service plans and what the cost of the service fees were on each. He made me feel very comfortable signing up for service with your company.

I have Rental Property in Oregon which we have had under a home warranty contract for several years. Last year the Dishwasher went bad. It took the Warranty company 3 months to deliver a new Dishwasher but they would not hook it up unless we hired a licensed Electrician to make the electrical connection. Select Home Warranty assured me that if they had to replace an appliance they would make sure it was properly functioning before the technician left the residence. With my military discount I am saving 30% on the yearly Premium for a three year commitment and 30% the service charge. Thank you Select Home Warranty!!!!

Moe ** - SHW Rep. was extremely responsive and very helpful during this process, which was a pleasant change from my previous Home Warranty provider. Moe answered all of my questions and assisted me greatly in meeting my needs. He was very professional and timely during this process. Based on the value and responsiveness of Moe and my expectations of Select Home Warranty, I would recommend SHW to my friends.

First time calling for a service. I only waited on the phone for two min to get a live person. The person I talk to was a nice person and handled everything in a professional manner. I was told that a service tech will get back to me in less than two days. I got my claim number on the email immediately. Now I’m waiting for the service tech to call me. Today is the second day.

Do not buy from Select Home Warranty! They do not provide contractors in a timely manner and don’t allow reimbursement to use your own contractor. Every item I have ever presented to be repaired I have been compensated pennies on the dollar of the cost if at all. If you feel like wasting money then take a match and light it on fire, at least the heat generated by the flames will give you some return on your investment! Compared to other warranty companies they are the worst!

I just purchased a Select Home warranty. I dealt with Jake ** who offered and explained several different options. There was no high pressure and he provided several different methods to lower the cost. I now don't dread having to replace my appliances. I have been hesitant about purchasing a home warranty policy but after reviewing what several other companies offered and after speaking to Jake, I feel confident in my selection of the Select Home Warranty.

I found the salesman, Moe, to be very knowledgeable. He was able answer all my questions and provide solid recommendations for my best options. I was pleased when he gave me his direct number if I EVER have questions or problems. I do wish I could have received coverage on my gas logs.

Found out microwaves are not repairable through this warranty. I was given a fair price for it which helped me buy a new one. I’m overall satisfied with prices and coverages. After a bad experience with AHS, who sent out men to do repairs who never responded to them, and would tried to bill me for them, I tried Select based on reviews. I had three ceiling fans inop, they would only cover one, and then only reimburse me $45 for new fan, cheapest one on Amazon was $109. And would not pay for installation. Contract states fans covered with no provisions they claimed, and when contacted claims rep, Louis, he said they have no means to email customers to confirm we talked. HUH? When purchased I bought the biggest plan to cover all appliances like salesman said, obviously he high pressured me as the deal was only good for today.

I have just purchased my home and was not aware that I needed to have coverage outside of My homeowners insurance. So I checked the reviews and the coverage and I am very pleased with my choice. Customer service called me immediately and gave me numerous options to save even more additional money on my policy And what should I really appreciated the call to give me additional options.

Setting up the home warranty was easy and fast. The first customer service guy I got was rude and didn't answer my questions, but I called back, got a different guy who listened and answered. Daniel, the agent from Select Home Warranty called me yesterday to get annual service renewed. Answered all my questions regarding options available and helped me pick the option that I was most comfortable with. I was happy with the service I got so far but I want to try it for one more year before signing up for a longer contract.

Very quick response and very clear on information needed for claim. My AC broke and we have children in the home. Tech came out next day and communicated with SHW for us. I live in Texas and the heat has started. So we really needed a quick response and that is exactly what we got. We have never used a warranty company and so far we are extremely satisfied.

I placed a service request yesterday but the online application wouldn't accept the issue I was having. I called the office and spoke to a customer service technician to research the issues for the repair. The tech was informative and realize that the HVAC didn't service my area. He is going to locate another tech and will email me the information.

Great price offering with inclusion of roof and sprinkler systems which are all increases with other home warranty companies. I reviewed and cross quoted 5 companies and by far this was the best pricing for the coverage. My previous home warranty coverage company was so hard to deal with and had so much red tape when making a claim that drove me to switch to an alternate company.

On 5/25/21, I contacted Select Home Warranty and spoke with Ron **. I needed to make some changes to the home warranty that I had recently purchased. Mr. ** made the changes and sent me a new contract within 30 minutes of my phone call. After the changes were completed, I had a refund due. Mr. ** assured me the refund would appear on my credit card within 3-5 business days. I was satisfied with my interaction with Mr. **. If the refund shows up within 3-5 business days, I will be totally satisfied.

I am a first time customer with this company. Received a flyer in the mail at a price that fit my budget. Everything was fine. Taking care of my problem was she focused on. Didn't feel like I was wasting her time. I explained what my problem was and didn't feel like it was inconvenience or the company time. Harass free customer service.

The salesman was professional and not pushy. He explained the plan in detail and reviewed all pricing from 1 yr to multi-years. Please don't waste your money by purchasing Select Home Warranty plans, they won't cover anything. We need to pay service call fees and Labor charges (huge amounts) fixed by them. They cover only parts cost (just few dollars). This is my experience so please shop other plans and understood terms and conditions before purchasing the policy. If you cancel the policy they charge $75 cancellation charges also.

I have canceled my policy with this rip off of a company and have switched to American Home Shield, someone who's hopefully more legit than this place. I signed up with Select because it was cheap and had some good selling points. You get what you pay for I guess! Horrible experience all around, customer service is a joke, worse than Comcast. I seriously think they are scamming people out of lots of money and somehow are staying in business. They get out of trying to cover anything, even things that your policy clearly states are covered. They send random men out to do the "repairs", not a business or anyone who is licensed or bonded or even remotely knows what they are doing. They send out handy men who barely have a clue how to fix the thing they are coming out to fix.

Hate to keep calling because it’s an afternoon gone. Put on hold forever, Hung up on & don’t even call back or hasn’t even checked on my claim. Don’t think my allowed money for hot water tank should go towards the 2 things I already had done & told them so. Plumber even saw the old part & still replaced it again. It’s been almost 3 months & I’m sick of taking cold showers & heating water to wash dishes.

I signed up for their home warranty for my 3 homes. My experience had been frustrating. My plumbing blockage claim of toilet matters backing up in my bath has been taking more than a week to get to me, and still has not. My other house, roof claim made over 3 weeks has not been addressed. Terrible inhumane condition to put up with.

Select Home Warranty did refund all my money for two houses. The service repair for a Central heat system had 3 calls for repair from February to April, (the temps were close to freezing). My policy ends May 5, The other home ends on June 6. In April, I had repurchased two Home policies. I was ok with the service so far, This was my third year with them. I had everything that this guy requested, regular maintenance records and repairs, so the last time it had service the tech said he would request a new item replacement, it cost about $500, I waited 3 weeks for an answer, then I got an email it was denied, so we discussed the issue, he, the guy that determines they will looked at it again, he offered me a deal, if I paid the repair guy $500, they would reimburse me $150.

As far as I can tell, this "warranty" service is a scam, or completely incompetent. I had an aging frig which failed. After having to pay twice for a tech to come to basically look at it and say it was too old to fix, the compressor started failing quickly, ruining pretty much all my food and requiring me to replace the unit in a hurry. Meanwhile, the warranty company kept denying the claim under an HVAC provision for ACs, stating that it was running but not cooling because of a Freon leak. At no time had a freon leak ever been an aspect of the diagnosis, nor could it have been. They just completely made that up. More, the provision under which they denied the claim was specific to ACs, and had nothing to do with refrigerator.

Refrigerator been broken for 10 weeks, after claim submitted. Their technician never showed up (3 times no show). I hired my own and they will not honor his diagnosis. Waste of money with Select. Do not join.

I am in the process of switching home warranty coverage. I use to have Landmark warranty, but Greg convinced me to switch to Select Home Warranty. Greg was a helpful representative, and helped me to find the best deal for my home's needs. He added pool coverage and explained everything that would be covered as well as the service call fee. He also explained the terms and conditions clearly, and answered any questions I had.

I called in while water was gushing out of my bathtub into my bathroom and bedroom at 11pm. My tone was annoyed tired and frustrated to say the least. The service rep stayed positive calm and submitted my claim quickly. I am waiting on a technician to arrive in the next 2 days, but have already received 2 emails letting me know they are working on my case.

I feel that SELECT HOME is very competitive and has good rates for SENIOR CITIZENS. I received two free months when signing up for JULY 1, 2021 - SEPT 1, 2022. I now qualify for a another free month! I am hoping to stay in my home for a long time, and I want to have a good relationship with SELECT HOME to continue service after my 15 months. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Kitchen sink leak. Called to report a claim, they were very nice. I did have a problem submitting an online claim but, they took the claim over the phone and were very helpful. The customer service was very helpful and concerned with helping me solve my issues. I found them to be very friendly and helpful.

I thankfully have not had occasion to use the warranty but feel when if/when I need it, I will not be disappointed. Alex, the very professional and nice representative, answered every question I had and explained every detail. The pricing was exceptional even after the add-ons, I hope to renew in the future.

Buying an older home can me scary. I had never had a home warranty and knew nothing about them. I did some online research and decided to call a few different companies for more info. After speaking with Moe H. from Select Home Warranty, I knew his company was the way to go. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. Give them a call if at all thinking about a home warranty.

This claim has been undiagnosed for 10 days after the technician came out (it’s been 14 days since the claim was submitted). I called almost daily to follow up and was told the same thing every day…. For 10 days! In fact, the only reason this claim is moving forward at all is because of my calls to Suncoast (the service technician) and National Service Alliance. Select Home Warranty was ZERO help.

Good coverage options at good cost. Good discounts available and a few months extra for free. Reps are a little pushy (lots of calls/emails from several reps in a very short period of time) to make the sales but kinda expected. Overall, it's reputable coverage for a low cost which is a must need for home owners.

Competitive pricing with included roof leak repair. Two free months included. Free standing microwave included in coverage. Additional garage fridge and freezer at reasonable cost. Claim deductible can include multiple items. Each yearly renewal includes two free months. Would recommend this policy and might add more coverage later.

After making a mistake on my initial order I called customer service and they seamlessly helped me out with fixing it. They then proceeded to give me a better deal that met my needs. I appreciate their flexibility and customer service. If this is any indication of how they will be when a claim needs to be made, I think we will be very happy.

I needed a copy of my policy. I called in an a gentleman immediately sent the policy to me via email. I received it while we were speaking, how that for great service! This time I reached the corporate office which was great. Unfortunately, the previous two times I called, I had reached an off shore call center. Those people said they would take care of sending the policy. After 3 weeks, I tried again today and got great results! If you need something, press #1.

I am a new member and the sign up process over the phone was easy and stress free. Was also informed about discounts due to being a first time home buyer which saved me more money! I am happy that my home is now covered fully! I also got the first 6 months for free and no extra cost to cover any roofing leaks.

Our air conditioner was not cooling effectively on the home we recently purchased. Unfortunately, the one thing that was needed was on the exclusions list for the warranty. Dissatisfied because this is a fairly common issue with air conditioners. If common needs are excluded, why purchase a warranty? Clever on their part to exclude it but it devalues the warranty, in my opinion.

I was very, very pleased with Tom who explained the Platinum Care package thoroughly. He also asked if I was a senior citizen so he applied the senior discount also the teacher's discount. He then explained the 3-year discount package and offered that to me. He split the cost into 4 easy payments. What can I say, Tom was great. And the package I selected is also great.

I was offered a discount which did not show up on my bill. The agent was very helpfully. He corrected the billing problem. He assured me that Select is a highly rated company. They have the best fee for service, and are very customer agents. He assured me I would receive my contract in my email.

Select Home Warranty's Roof coverage does NOT cover roofs. Read the fine print. Nothing is covered. The agent actually stated - the free roof coverage on the platinum plan is free, so it doesn't actually cover anything. When first they declined to cover my leak due to paragraph 6.4.2, the agent said, "Give me a few minutes to work with the team to find another paragraph that will be more appropriate to decline your claim." Save your money. Just have your realtor give you $1350 instead, and kick you in **. You'll be happier.

Seems to be a good company with very pleasant customer service. I have yet had to call for service but the people seem to be very friendly. The price was very reasonable. The whole year paid upfront was a nice discount. I am hoping when I need them they come thru with a quick fix but we shall see.

This warranty is a scam. They provide little or no coverage. Local contractors are unqualified. They charge unrealistic high costs. So that even for any little coverage that they may provide, they overcharge. They are not legitimate companies, looking to make a score at every job. Most cases are denied. The ones that are approved will be very small. It won’t even cover a fraction of the charges. All of these companies should be investigated for fraud, that’s the only thing that they offer to people.

I was given the information in a thoughtful manner. I was offered many options and choices in a fair but maybe over insistent manner by a very patient salesperson who really had some problem on letting go the idea that I only wanted a single one year plan, but in all a fine conversation.

I wanted my policy details, which I've not received till date after I purchased the policy for one year on April 11th 2021. So I have to called the Support number to get my policy details. Now I got the policy details through email. I paid $550 dollars and my start date is May 11th 2021.

The salesperson that I spoke with was very understanding even though we had to reject his offer. We really appreciate his time and effort but the plans he offered and tried to get for us was not in our budget right now. For now we will stick to what we have purchased and will happily renew.

I would give this company a Zero star if possible. I had a terrible experience with this company with regards to my Spa heater claim. Their sales reps try to sell warranty with promotions like extra months free, roof leak included etc. But literally they deny any claim that costs more than $150. Their service tech said the Spa repair would cost $1000, but they decided to offer me $150, that's even after I provided evidence that the Spa was serviced for last 3 yrs. Don't even consider them. This company is a fraud. They are low cost because they don't pay for any claims.

I'm happy to say the rep I spoke with, Alan was very pleasant, not pushy and extremely helpful. He even found an offer that turned out to be less expensive than I expected!

I was shopping for a new warranty company and Select seems to provide everything we are looking for. Low monthly cost, huge number of technicians and discounts. Much better options than our previous provider. I am currently reading the contract in detail for any negative things that may stand out. The service fee is a little more pricey but I guess it balances out with the low monthly cost. We decided to go with the platinum plan.

I’m a new customer and can only speak to the initial signing for the program. The sales person was accommodating and seemed knowledgeable. He did often better discounts with additional features concerning the program. We can only wait to see how the actual service will be if needed in the future. Right now, I feel pretty good about the choice I made!

I just bought the contract so I haven't had any claims experience yet. The salesman I worked with was sharp & very knowledgeable. He guided me to show me how you can get home coverage for just $24 a month if you pay the full amount for a longer time of coverage.

I called about my oven. No one has called me. Not sure how long it will take. I need someone to contact me asap. Very important that I get this done quickly. I have no emails no calls. Seems like they do not care. Very disappointed at the fact that I can’t even get someone to fix my oven even though I pay Over $500 a year for this warranty.

My mortgage fell through and a month later my bank loan fell through. Despite not moving into the house I was charge a deposit fee and a proration fee even though I never owned the house. We thought we were getting excellent value when the seller included a year long home warranty on the house. Two months in I’ve had to fix the hvac wiring AND do some ductwork repairs, neither of which have been covered. When I called To discuss the needed ductwork, I was TOLD to schedule the work and have my contractor call when they arrived to DO the work. So I scheduled the $500 appt. they called in and then started doing the work. Halfway through their work, I was informed it wasn’t covered. WHAT?!?! Apparently, the ONLY ductwork covered is reconnection of disconnected (not damaged in any way- just disconnected) ductwork.

I hope repairs aren't needed, but if home repairs are needed hopefully the repair service will be good.

He also sold us on a 5 year policy and indicated that we can withdraw at any time if we are unhappy and our unused premium will be refunded. It was a good experience. What remains to be seen is our actual experience after we start the policy period.

The platinum warranty is very affordable and offers great coverage, I only wish the phone agent was more knowledgeable and detailed when explaining the policy. I asked whether the policy covers the full cost of repair if an appliance is unable to be fixed and I did not receive a clear answer.

I had a pleasant experience. I was able to file my claim easy, within 24hrs a plumbing company was in contact and scheduled to come. I thought that paying $60 for the service call and that being it was to good to be true. It was. They cover a partial cost for the water heater. Labor is on you. My heater was 10yrs old. They gave me $300 towards a new one. With my six year plan that covered the first year plus. The referred company was great with response and communication. Overall you're not getting free replacement but they will give some. Let's be real.

Please do NOT spend your money with this "Home Warranty" company. As a new customer to Select Home Warranty I am very disappointed and upset that I spent my money purchasing a policy with this company. This company has reimbursement issues, "hidden" probation periods of service, unexpected costs issues, misleading and lack of information when speaking with personnel, as well as poor communication when being transferred to different departments. In any "emergency" repair situation Select Home Warranty is NOT the company to call. Heaven forbid if there is a leak or plumbing issue in your home, you would have an entire swimming pool in your home before Select Home Warranty would send someone over to repair, IF they actually felt like taking the time out of their busy schedules to find a plumbing service nearest to you.

Had a bad experience with American Heritage. They didn't cover anything when I had an issue. They were very expensive and the customer service was not in the USA. I did my homework this time and Select was the best bang for the buck and the rep was from NY so we hit it off. I am hoping this warranty company is legit...stay tune.

There was no phone call. This was done entirely online. The only glitch was that the service company chose their own time and not one of my preferred times. Had to call the service company to have them change the day. Other than the glitch for scheduling this was a relatively easy process. The only other issue was that scheduling late in the week there was no action on the weekend. If this had been a serious flooding issue that would have been too long a response time.

I have paid Select Home Warranty close to $1000 for 2 years to keep my "home warranty" active on my new home. I followed my contract's specific instructions to have my Air Conditioner serviced once a year and keep maintenance records. My AC recently stopped working and I called select, they sent out a technician whom I paid $60 for him to diagnose that my compressor was dead. The technician wrote up a diagnosis saying that my compressor was grounded. The next day I received an email from select home warranty denying my claim because they do not cover electrical issues. I then called the same company they sent out and asked them to explain what was wrong with my AC and whether or not it was an actual electrical issue. Per the companies' service manager and the written statement he provided me my compressor was dead and it was not caused by an electrical issue.

Sales automation at fiercest.. Calls emails and text poured in as soon as the inquiry was placed. Took 24 hrs cooling time and the offer was of great value. The human was relatable and in end decided to purchase. Got the platinum 5 yr plan with 1 yr additional. Peace of mind hopefully.

I have had SHW for over a year now and I have not been more dissatisfied with anything in my life. First, SHW does not respect the customers and they do not honor their own response time of 24-48 hours. Sometimes, I would not get a response or a technician assigned for weeks later regardless of the emergency. All you get is an apology with no real resolution. That's if they believe the customer at all. SHW needs to screen their technicians better. One technician fell asleep on the job, three technicians fail to show up, putting my life on hold to meet their four hours window wait time. SHW refuses to give me a refund due to their poor service and their inability to meet my needs or provide professional service. I have reported SHW to the BBB because of their poor service.

Excellent service. Our kitchen sink was clogged up and we had tried to resolved the problem with some drain to no avail. So as soon as we reported the problem to Select Home Warranty and given the nature of the situation I was given a contact plumber Arellano plumber and this company was very accommodating to our time schedule and told us exactly the problem and resolved it. This is the worst warranty company that I have dealt with. First they charge you upfront the full amount and then they tell you that they have to wait for 30 days before coverage begins! So they keep your money & you do not have coverage. No other warranty company I have dealt with does this. Every company I have dealt with will enroll you & give you a policy number, but you can only raise a claim after the activation date (30 days) & they charge you only on the date of activation! Secondly, after submitting a claim, it took more than 20 days to get me a vendor to conduct the service. Not to mention that I had to make multiple phone calls, wait while on hold for hours & not get any explanation for the inordinate delay.

Professional services. I still have a few questions I forgot to ask. Like the discounts. I’m in good hands with this company. Paid up for the year. I hope if anything breaks it is replaced for free outside of the service fee. Mainly the AC. That was one of my unanswered questions I forgot to ask.

This was my first time to submit a claim. My call was answered quickly and the woman I spoke with the professional and submitted my claim for me. She answered all my questions and the process did not take very long. A few hours later I received an email letting me know that I would be contacted within 48 hours with the information needed to set up an appointment.

The person who helped me was knowledgeable and saw that I had called a month before to check prices when they were running a discount. Even though the special was over he gave me the discounted price. The price both for visits to the home and coverage was great. They even cover my stand up freezer which I was having trouble finding coverage for and they also included roof coverage. It went really well.

Select covers all at a good price and provides good service. Select provides with less call price and also provide support, act quickly. Select warranty covers most and includes roof leak checking also with in the service. They will execute service request at a faster rate.

We are new to this Warranty company. The customer service was great. The gentleman that assisted was very thorough and polite he patiently went through the plans I had questions on. I also did research on the top Warranty Companies and Select Home Warranty was on top. So far so good.

I have used a home warranty since purchasing my first home a decade ago. I have switched companies a few times over the years for poor quality, poor contractors, or poor service. Today I had a wonderful experience with Select. They offer great discounts, benefits for paying for the year upfront, and even better benefits for purchasing a multi-year plan. The comforting part was that it is prorated, so I can cancel at any time and get my money back, however, I don't see that happening. So far, I am very pleased! Did I mention they cover roof leaks! What a homeowner's dream!

I bought my house in August and my realtor negotiated a home warranty for me as part of my closing package. I was excited but didn’t know much about it. All I knew was that if anything broke, I was covered. About a month ago, my hot water heater starts going out. It’s making less and less hot water. I called a plumber that worked with the home warranty and they checked it out. They said they would submit a claim and left. Time goes by and I don’t hear anything. I call the plumber and they said it’s Select’s fault. Meanwhile, my water heater has gotten worse and only produces about a 3 min warm (not hot) shower.... not fun for washing my extra long hair!!
