I have requested service for my ice make on several occasions. In each instance they have found some way of turning down the claim. They neither repair or replace, like they advertise. I gave them 1 star, because that was the lowest I could go. BUYER BEWARE.

Very pushy rude sales people. Finally spoke with a decent one and filed a home warranty case in the timeframe allotted on the contract. Now here's how it's been going: 1. Claim filed within contract agreement for an urgent emergency AC unit in the summer and I called customer service to get a call back about the claim because the wait was so long "due to COVID". 2. Never received a call back, instead, after hours passed they send a rude, dismissive email and asked me to call yet again. "We do need to speak with you, please call us at 1-855 267 3532. Prompt 5 for our claims department." 3. Called and found out they had a billing issue, so did need to speak with me, my payment processed and billing said that they were to have technicians contact me in 1 to 2 days for service. 4. Never received any word from them after 2 days .

I was a Select Home Warranty customer. After 1 year, I cancelled my contract with them due to non-performance of advertised/contracted repairs. I have filed 3 Better Business Bureau complaints against this company, and am preparing to file a FTC complaint against them for false advertising. I would recommend that this company be omitted from your recommended home warranty companies list. I have used two other home warranty companies, and Select is very clearly the worst in my experience that I've used or heard about. The public should be aware that this company's advertising is not all factual. I also found Select's customer service management to be very poor - delay in repair approval, selection of a repair company which did poor work, and avoidance of covering repairs which are covered as per the contract.

I submitted a claim on July 17, 2021 for a broken AC unit. Five days later a service provider diagnosed the AC repair needed as a faulty motor and reported findings to Select Home Warranty. As of today, 16 days later no repair has been made. (Note this is summer in NC). I have been receiving the run around from SHW. Passed from one person to another and falsely assured that it is under review and it will be handled promptly.

Do not sign up with Select. They seem very nice in order to get your business. They talk up their services but never follow through. They will deny every claim for some minuscule reason that they find in the policy. Even when my technicians say otherwise they still deny every claim. It’s a scam and I’m warning everyone to be not go with them. Their customer service department is a scam as well. They never get back with you and make promises about handling situations they have no intention of fixing.

Polite and courteous as well as helpful explaining all policy information. First rep gave me a totally different price than I eventually received from Moe. Not sure what that was about but in the end we were able to come to an agreement even better than the price I was quoted before. But yeah it was good.

I was very concerned shopping for my first home warranty but my representative took time to explain to me areas of concern and helped me choose a 6 year plan that fit for me and was very affordable. Full coverage at less cost through this company without long sales pitches

Great customer service and the products pricing is so good! I definitely recommend Noah to help you on the home warranty needs of the household appliances and roof issues. If you have an issue the 60.00 call fee is amazing and reasonable and worth referring others to purchase as well. If you had to choose the full price versus the minimal and product replacement this is the way to do it!

I had excellent customer service and am excited to have a home warranty through Select! My agent was super friendly and helped me to figure out the best deal for me. He was precise and concise in how he explained everything! I am super happy and couldn't be more pumped to have done business with this company.

I am a new customer and I just got a nice deal. I did not have any service call yet and I hope I won't have any problem with that. The customer representative who sold us the deal was nice and helpful. Getting a new contract was easy. I hope any service call will be also easy and satisfactory.

The salesperson was very responsive to my questions. Hopefully, the service is as good as he had mentioned. Johnathan answered every question, and was extremely patient as I summarized all cost to ensure I was getting the best cost and best of all, my military discount. The repairman looked at the code and repaired it in no time. The washer had been working as it is suppose to work. He made sure he left everything as he found it. Very pleased with the service provided. The wife was very happy. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Contacted Select home and filed a claim about my not working well pump (no water). After the initial call was informed that the claim would be reviewed and passed out to be connected with a local repairman. The fact that not having running water is a major issue if not an emergency. After a few days select home relayed a message that "they" were very busy and could not find a local repairman to take the job. So was instructed to try to contact an independent company/repairman to handle the job. This now creates a problem with having to get a cost of repairs and before proceeding having to contact Select Home for approval and then p[paying for the work and THEN having to request from Select home for reinvestment. I had thought that the idea of a home warranty was that THEY took care of the repairs and cost.

Just purchased. Salesperson was fun to talk to. I hope not to use it, but glad I have it for peace of mind. I covered my home, pool, and even roof leaks, which most others do not. Overall I had a very good experience dealing with them in the phone.

Very satisfied with the service I received. Blake was very helpful and helped save me quite a bit of money as well as answering all of my many questions! I also was very impressed after comparing the different companies that Select Home Warranty has the best coverage options and best cost!

Sam was great. Provided good detail to questions asked. Made good offer for 3 year contract, that can be voided at any time. Sam was very concise and non aggressive. Was willing to listen to my questions and answer them. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

We haven't had a chance to use the service, but purchasing the policy was easy, and the representative was very helpful and found us discounts to make the warranty more affordable. He was very nice, and went the extra mile to make sure we got the right product for our needs. It is well worth the price we paid for peace of mind.

Well I haven’t used their service yet. I just got 14 months at a very reasonable price. The gentleman I talked with was very knowledgeable, and a very nice man to talk with. With this Service, I was able to get 14 months instead of 12. I was paying $55 a month, with my old service. So this service was a lower price, more months, end it covered more equipment.

Wonderful service! This is our first home and I feel like we got wonderful coverage, and an amazing deal! I do wish I could’ve gotten a better understanding on how a home warranty works but I think I’ll figure it out. The customer service was very quick as well, I enjoy not having to wait on hold.

My heat pump went out in extreme hot weather. I did not know if my policy covered heat pump. All staff I talked to were knowledgeable, courteous and implemented the claim immediately. That very day I recommended Select Home Warranty to a neighbor. I felt so relieved I was covered. I bought the plan several years ago when I had to buy a new furnace and had no coverage. My home is 20 years old, so I wanted to be prepared in the future.

Select Home Warranty was quite competitive with cost and a very good experience overall making the change. They also offer more covered services like roof leaks and lawn sprinklers. I called over the phone and spoke with a sales rep and his name was Jake, he answered all my questions and was very informative about Select Home Warranty coverages. DO not get Home Select Warranty. My AC broke down, they came and try to fix it after waiting 5 days. It broke again 4 days later. Now it's day 20 from original date and no AC. The tech person stated the AC is dead. They now claim it's not covered and giving me a run around for repairs... RUN AWAY from them.

I have been on the fence about purchasing an extended home warranty plan for years now, but after one call with SHW, I was put totally at ease and now feel it was the best decision I made for our appliances. The savings value alone, not to mention the peace of mind is something you can't put a price tag on, but even then, SHW offered the best rates compared to their competitors for the exact same (if not worse) coverage. Highly recommend everybody get a policy with them before something breaks in your home and it's too late!

Just signed up for an extended multi-year plan and the sales associates worked with me to make sure that I received a quote that would work within my budget; as well as, answered all my questions regarding the contract terms. I was also delighted to see that they had a outdoor sprinkler package add-on; which, I had not seen in other plans that I reviewed before this one. I feel very comfortable with the plan that I signed up for and hope that any future claims will go smoothly -- knock on wood; nothing relatively soon.

This home warranty company has been the best! They worked with me and helped me with the claims. I had my air conditioner go up and had no problems with getting it serviced or fixed. They connected me to a great company which came out promptly to my service request.

Select Care offer a great service policy for a fair price. The customer care service carefully explains the policy and how it works. I was also given different levels of service to meet my needs. They also care about senior citizens and offer a great veterans discount. Select Care had great reviews and customer satisfaction.

Customer service representative was very good and knowledgeable. She stated I would be hearing from a technician in 48 hrs with my concern. She stated the date the claim check will be mailed out. The folks at Select have always been very helpful whenever I have a question. We haven't had a claim yet, but I have the peace of mind knowing that the coverage is there when I need it. We recently were shopping for a new home warranty company and spoke with Sam at Select. He reviewed our needs and explained the options they had available as well as looked for any discounts that we would qualify for. He was very pleasant to speak with and made sure we understood our plan. I hope the rest of our experience with this company is as positive if/when we have a claim.

The technician was on time and repaired our air conditioner, within 2 hours. Very professional. He explained the problem and was very efficient. Considering the outside temperature was 115, needless to say, time was of the essence. We called Select one day, the technician was at our the the next day.

The customer services was well explained to me about the services that will be provided. The rep took his time and was very detailed and made sure I understood how the warranty works. Also, I was showed how I could save money by enrolling in a 3 year plan, which will provide more ease for the next three years.

I was referred by a friend. Although seamless process to get the warranty, the customer service tried hard to sell 3 year and 5 year plan. The representative was courteous, but pushed hard to sell long term commitment, which I thought was a little too much... Good pricing for expansive coverage.

The representative was very cordial and professional. He walked me through the procedure, took all my information, gave me a claim number and then followed up with another call and an e-mail telling me how to instruct my service provider to forward the invoice etc. Now I am waiting to see if some or all of the claim will be covered. The call processor was informative and patient. She listened to my initial questions and prioritized the order in which they should be addressed. While addressing the two separate claims, she was attentive to further questions about processes regarding claims. She was patient enough to reference the policy section and allow me to review the specific details. I've had five interactions with representatives and this the most positive and helpful. The sales rep was very friendly (1st and 4th interaction), but did not provide an informative first glance of what would be provided to the customer. As a 1st time home buyer, it almost seemed like a fast talk salesman scheme.

Great sales experience with Jordan. Who knew that was possible? Yes, there were sales pitches, but he seemed very transparent about the process, answered all of my questions honestly, and made me feel comfortable with his company. Barry was outstanding help. I currently have a Home Warranty Service Plan but I thought I would compare. I was so glad did. I signed up initially for 1 yr at a good rate but then Barry up sold me on a super great rate that I can keep as long as I want. I will have a lower service call fee and I now don’t have to pay for the next 6 years. I usually hate it when I get the extra sales pitch but this time I was thankful. As a senior citizen I don’t need to worry about rising costs and soon I will be on a fixed income. Thank you Barry!!!

I called in with a question and got Mark **. He was very knowledgeable of the product. The policy covered all the items I wanted and the roof leak was included for free. He answered all my questions and I ended up buying the 5 year policy! I sure hope the service calls when needed go as smoothly as getting the home warranty policy!

The overall news customer sign-up experience was good. The call center agent was very polite and friendly. Better experience than other Home Warranty companies in the market. I have been with a competitor for the last 3 years and switched to Select Home warranty because of their high customer service quality.

Contact the company directly for better pricing. Saved over 80 dollars by calling. There are more deals avail than the website shows.

Quick service. Offered ways to save money per year. I’ve heard from other happy clients about this insurance. So I recently had to replace my refrigerator and remembered to ask a friend about this insurance company that helps when appliances break or need repair. I hope that this insurance can help now that I am widowed and have no one to help take care of my appliances.

We been calling since end of March 2021 for plumbing, started with faucet was leaking in the kitchen and bathrooms, when called, said it is not covered per warranty, they said you fix it and send the receipt, we changed, and paid cash to the plumber, I didn't send the receipt, I will do that, again plumbing problem while flushing the toilet and also when take shower big bubbling sound in the kitchen sinc and back flow of water in the tub and also in the kitchen, fan light has some problem, Dispatching said they send message to plumbing llc.

I was pleasantly surprised and glad they called since I was reading all the plans on the website to determine what was best for me. It took just a few minutes to get the information and sign up. I had a great sales call with Jake. He took me through all the details of the contract, including the ability to select your own service provider (a big plus). He offered multiple options on pricing and was overall just great to talk to. He also was able to get me a discount based on the fact that my wife is a teacher (something I wasn't aware of).

Being first time owner when things break there is always an additional confusion and worry. Select Home was referred to me by a friend of mine and enrolling to the insurance plan was easy and I am glad that my house got covered and can be rest assured to get their assistance. I also had the experience to open a claim and to my surprise their response was very fast and within an hour the dispatch team updated the claim and advised technician to contact me. So far this has been a good experience and I hope the same level of service continues.

After checking numerous websites to determine which warranty company I should go with, Select was rated the highest for overall coverage, pricing, service call cost and customer service. The process to get signed up was quick and easy. I chose the 1-yr option for our new home. I feel better have a warranty on a 35 year old home to ensure I don't have expensive breakdowns paying out of pocket.

After 18 to 24 months the consumer sees a rapid deterioration in claims approvals and overall treatment especially then there are some prior claims. In fact, after much research it seems (happened at least to me) they even cancel the policy! Then they send a check with few cents. Most deposit it but by doing so implicitly acknowledge the cancellation! Most reviews here are from the PRE 24 month window. Which is why it is stellar. This company has found an unique way by virtue of which they are thus able to guarantee a good rating! Even other organizations who reviewed this company gave it good marks because they figured out another angle whereby they offer a lot of features at a relatively low cost. As such, when they are reviewed and in comparison to other home warranty companies they come out near the top. It's the operational aspects along with multi-year statistics that most place miss to cover, which is being exploited by this company.

My policy was effective April 2021 and filed a claim 5/25/2021. In 5 weeks Select Home failed to find a plumber in Jacksonville to handle the claim. I asked them to cancel the contract from the beginning for their failure to honor the contract. They chose to cancel prorata and said they cannot honor the 5/25 claim because policy is cancelled effective June.

I completed the quote online and received a call shortly after. The rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. I told him what I was looking for and he was able to get me exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely refer this place to friends and family.

I have just enrolled in the Platinum Care plan. Since I am a realtor, Select Home Warranty (SHW) offered me a nice discount plus 2 free month of service. Their coverage does not require a home inspection to purchase. They allow an unlimited number of covered repairs. I am satisfied with the customer service representative. She was kind and helpful. I would recommend SHW to my clients.

This company's rate was the best for me. The salesperson I spoke with was awesome. I'm glad I went with this company. I hope & pray if and when I need assistance for whatever issues I come across with my house that the service is as awesome as today's service.

I could not locate my Select Home Warranty policy. I had turned my files upside down to no avail. I called SHW (got the number from their website) and asked for another copy of my policy. The people I spoke to could not have been more helpful. Within an hour I had a copy of my policy, sent via email. I would do business with this company any day.

I was looking for home warranty and came cross with Select. All plans are simple and very easy to understand and the customer service Representative explained it nicely with nice price. Being a new homeowner it's really worth it to buy a home warranty. I would recommend Select for homeowners warranty.

Good service. We have had other companies in the past that we weren’t happy with. This company seems to be efficient and very good at getting the job done so we are very happy with the service and would hope to continue to be happy with the service for many more years as we stay happy with the service. Plans are affordable and the timeliness on answering questions is great! I like the range of plan coverage, cost, and customer service was wonderful! I asked for a quote and someone called me write away (with an opportunity for even more of a discount than I expected!). I needed something to fit my budget but also cover a wide range of home appliances and systems and they seemed to be the best value.

They were very courteous regarding Home warranty/ They explained all available options and existing promotions. They explained the procedure as to what we need to do when an issue arises. They explained what are all the things that are covered. We were happy with their explanation and they explained the system.

Most renewal processes are stressful and downright annoying. This was a completely different experience. I felt the sales representative was trying to do what was best for my family. He offered options and took the time to explain the benefits to each one. It was not an uncomfortable call like most sales experiences.

I had wonderful customer service. They tell me exactly what needs to be done in order to move to the next step in the claim process. The only problem I have is that they have a hard time finding a contractor in my area, which means that it usually takes quite a while to get service. I usually end up paying for it and then having to submit a claim to get reimbursed. Other than that, I’m happy with their service.

I just signed up for a three year contract. Moe ** was a great representative for SHW. I hope the service is as good as the service I received from Moe. I dropped AHS because they didn’t honor the the word of their salesperson and the very reason I extended their contract based on that word.

I was quickly sent an email saying my claim was being processed. I was instructed to call to discuss my claim further. However, the call just told me what the email told me... that my claim was being reviewed and processed. So my claim is still being processed. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. My AC is not currently holding the set temp & it should be 118 here today.

My experience with Select Home Warranty was positive compared to their competitors. I was expecting long periods of wait time, to be followed up by rude customer service, but I was pleasantly surprised! The lady in the other end of the line walked me through my problem and answered all my questions!!

Great service by Jonathan and rates seem fair. Will see how service is once a claim is filed. Policy has not been used so have not had the opportunity to experience technical service by their contracted service providers. I enjoy the fact I can talk to a real human and the website seems straightforward for processing any claims.

The sales representative was great, very informative, and helped me get the right product while helping me ensure I was able to get the best price for the products I needed. I was so happy I am adding more homes, and I already passed on the information to another investor.

I haven't had a chance to use the service yet, I did feel like the representative was a used car salesman and he almost talked me out of getting a home warranty with them. Hopefully the service is better than their insurance sales. I am only writing this review right now because I was offered an extra month free.

Jake ** called us shortly after we asked for a quote and applied all the discounts he could to get us the best price. He also asked if we were over 60 so he could see about applying the senior discount, which he then explained, but we decided not to get at this time as we can't afford to pay 3-5 years upfront. The one year, however, gave us 2 free months, so we actually get 14 months of coverage, but only are paying for 12 months.

Just purchased the contract. Have not had time to use the contract so I cannot say more than I had said. The customer representative was friendly and he explains things very well and gave me the opportunity to cancel the policy if I was not satisfied but I read and it compared to what he told me.

Based on my experience, they are usually reimburse the money for your appliance for the limit they have set for each appliance. It’s good for the money you paid for your warranty plan. They have a set limit and many exclusion for various parts for each appliance. I need to call them and work with them to make the things happen.

Very pleased with prompt service and finding someone to get my dryer fixed. My dryer had stopped heating up over the weekend. The company that was chosen to fix the dryer was very professional and called to let me know their time of arrival. My claim was handled with no issues with Select Home Warranty. Good Communication.

I have not used the warranty yet so I cannot review the service for a claim. But I can review the process to get a contract and it was excellent. I hate "pushy vendors" and they were exactly not pushy. I explained what I wanted and they provided a quote that was way better from what other companies quoted. So... so far a positive experience. I haven't had to use them so the best I can say is that everything sounds good! I The coverage should be great, when and if I need it. Supposedly I got an excellent deal. The agent offered a multi year deal, but I couldn't afford that because I am on social security disability and the price was more than I could do.

Customer service person Greg was terrific and answering my questions and seeking the best deal available for our circumstances. Be wary, the Replacement clause for appliances is not really a REPLACEMENT, it is instead a Depreciation allowance controlled by SELECT. And there seems to be other surprises such as the 'freon' is a separate item you must add to your contract. Why is that? Equally confusing is the electrical wiring and switches, electrical box. One place it indicates covered and another place they are not covered. May I suggest that the company supply and explain the contract BEFORE taking the customer's money.

I have Rental Property in Oregon which we have had under a home warranty contract for several years. Last year the Dishwasher went bad. It took the Warranty company 3 months to deliver a new Dishwasher but they would not hook it up unless we hired a licensed Electrician to make the electrical connection. First time calling for a service. I only waited on the phone for two min to get a live person. The person I talk to was a nice person and handled everything in a professional manner. I was told that a service tech will get back to me in less than two days. I got my claim number on the email immediately. Now I’m waiting for the service tech to call me. Today is the second day.

Do not buy from Select Home Warranty! They do not provide contractors in a timely manner and don’t allow reimbursement to use your own contractor. Every item I have ever presented to be repaired I have been compensated pennies on the dollar of the cost if at all. If you feel like wasting money then take a match and light it on fire, at least the heat generated by the flames will give you some return on your investment! Compared to other warranty companies they are the worst!

After a bad experience with AHS, who sent out men to do repairs who never responded to them, and would tried to bill me for them, I tried Select based on reviews. I had three ceiling fans inop, they would only cover one, and then only reimburse me $45 for new fan, cheapest one on Amazon was $109. And would not pay for installation. Contract states fans covered with no provisions they claimed, and when contacted claims rep, Louis, he said they have no means to email customers to confirm we talked. HUH? When purchased I bought the biggest plan to cover all appliances like salesman said, obviously he high pressured me as the deal was only good for today.

I have just purchased my home and was not aware that I needed to have coverage outside of My homeowners insurance. So I checked the reviews and the coverage and I am very pleased with my choice. I am a first time customer with this company. Received a flyer in the mail at a price that fit my budget. Everything was fine. Taking care of my problem was she focused on. Didn't feel like I was wasting her time. I explained what my problem was and didn't feel like it was inconvenience or the company time. Harass free customer service.

Please don't waste your money by purchasing Select Home Warranty plans, they won't cover anything. We need to pay service call fees and Labor charges (huge amounts) fixed by them. They cover only parts cost (just few dollars). This is my experience so please shop other plans and understood terms and conditions before purchasing the policy. If you cancel the policy they charge $75 cancellation charges also.

I have canceled my policy with this rip off of a company and have switched to American Home Shield, someone who's hopefully more legit than this place. I signed up with Select because it was cheap and had some good selling points. You get what you pay for I guess! Horrible experience all around, customer service is a joke, worse than Comcast. I seriously think they are scamming people out of lots of money and somehow are staying in business. They get out of trying to cover anything, even things that your policy clearly states are covered. They send random men out to do the "repairs", not a business or anyone who is licensed or bonded or even remotely knows what they are doing. They send out handy men who barely have a clue how to fix the thing they are coming out to fix.

Hate to keep calling because it’s an afternoon gone. Put on hold forever, Hung up on & don’t even call back or hasn’t even checked on my claim. Don’t think my allowed money for hot water tank should go towards the 2 things I already had done & told them so. Plumber even saw the old part & still replaced it again. It’s been almost 3 months & I’m sick of taking cold showers & heating water to wash dishes.

I signed up for their home warranty for my 3 homes. My experience had been frustrating. My plumbing blockage claim of toilet matters backing up in my bath has been taking more than a week to get to me, and still has not. My other house, roof claim made over 3 weeks has not been addressed. Terrible inhumane condition to put up with.

Select Home Warranty did refund all my money for two houses. The service repair for a Central heat system had 3 calls for repair from February to April, (the temps were close to freezing). My policy ends May 5, The other home ends on June 6. In April, I had repurchased two Home policies. I was ok with the service so far, This was my third year with them. I had everything that this guy requested, regular maintenance records and repairs, so the last time it had service the tech said he would request a new item replacement, it cost about $500, I waited 3 weeks for an answer, then I got an email it was denied, so we discussed the issue, he, the guy that determines they will looked at it again, he offered me a deal, if I paid the repair guy $500, they would reimburse me $150.

As far as I can tell, this "warranty" service is a scam, or completely incompetent. I had an aging frig which failed. After having to pay twice for a tech to come to basically look at it and say it was too old to fix, the compressor started failing quickly, ruining pretty much all my food and requiring me to replace the unit in a hurry. Meanwhile, the warranty company kept denying the claim under an HVAC provision for ACs, stating that it was running but not cooling because of a Freon leak. At no time had a freon leak ever been an aspect of the diagnosis, nor could it have been. They just completely made that up. More, the provision under which they denied the claim was specific to ACs, and had nothing to do with refrigerator.

Refrigerator been broken for 10 weeks, after claim submitted. Their technician never showed up (3 times no show). I hired my own and they will not honor his diagnosis. Waste of money with Select. Do not join.

I am in the process of switching home warranty coverage. I use to have Landmark warranty, but Greg convinced me to switch to Select Home Warranty. Greg was a helpful representative, and helped me to find the best deal for my home's needs. He added pool coverage and explained everything that would be covered as well as the service call fee. He also explained the terms and conditions clearly, and answered any questions I had.

I called in while water was gushing out of my bathtub into my bathroom and bedroom at 11pm. My tone was annoyed tired and frustrated to say the least. The service rep stayed positive calm and submitted my claim quickly. I am waiting on a technician to arrive in the next 2 days, but have already received 2 emails letting me know they are working on my case.

I feel that SELECT HOME is very competitive and has good rates for SENIOR CITIZENS. I received two free months when signing up for JULY 1, 2021 - SEPT 1, 2022. I now qualify for a another free month! Kitchen sink leak. Called to report a claim, they were very nice. I did have a problem submitting an online claim but, they took the claim over the phone and were very helpful. The customer service was very helpful and concerned with helping me solve my issues. I found them to be very friendly and helpful.

The service provided by Select Home Warranty is OUTSTANDING. The Sales and Customer Service contact (Moe **) who handled my call was well-informed and highly efficient. Keep up the GREAT WORK! I would recommend Select Home Warranty highly to anyone in search of this type of property protection. I will be adding the other properties in my portfolio to SHW as soon as the existing policy expire.

Buying an older home can me scary. I had never had a home warranty and knew nothing about them. I did some online research and decided to call a few different companies for more info. After speaking with Moe H. from Select Home Warranty, I knew his company was the way to go. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. Give them a call if at all thinking about a home warranty.

This claim has been undiagnosed for 10 days after the technician came out (it’s been 14 days since the claim was submitted). I called almost daily to follow up and was told the same thing every day…. For 10 days! In fact, the only reason this claim is moving forward at all is because of my calls to Suncoast (the service technician) and National Service Alliance. Select Home Warranty was ZERO help.

Good coverage options at good cost. Good discounts available and a few months extra for free. Reps are a little pushy (lots of calls/emails from several reps in a very short period of time) to make the sales but kinda expected. Overall, it's reputable coverage for a low cost which is a must need for home owners.

Competitive pricing with included roof leak repair. Two free months included. Free standing microwave included in coverage. Additional garage fridge and freezer at reasonable cost. Claim deductible can include multiple items. Each yearly renewal includes two free months. Would recommend this policy and might add more coverage later.

After making a mistake on my initial order I called customer service and they seamlessly helped me out with fixing it. They then proceeded to give me a better deal that met my needs. I appreciate their flexibility and customer service. If this is any indication of how they will be when a claim needs to be made, I think we will be very happy.

I needed a copy of my policy. I called in an a gentleman immediately sent the policy to me via email. I received it while we were speaking, how that for great service! This time I reached the corporate office which was great. Unfortunately, the previous two times I called, I had reached an off shore call center. Those people said they would take care of sending the policy. After 3 weeks, I tried again today and got great results! If you need something, press #1.

I am happy that my home is now covered fully! I also got the first 6 months for free and no extra cost to cover any roofing leaks.

Our air conditioner was not cooling effectively on the home we recently purchased. Unfortunately, the one thing that was needed was on the exclusions list for the warranty. Dissatisfied because this is a fairly common issue with air conditioners. If common needs are excluded, why purchase a warranty? Clever on their part to exclude it but it devalues the warranty, in my opinion.

I was very, very pleased with Tom who explained the Platinum Care package thoroughly. He also asked if I was a senior citizen so he applied the senior discount also the teacher's discount. He then explained the 3-year discount package and offered that to me. He split the cost into 4 easy payments. What can I say, Tom was great. And the package I selected is also great.

I was offered a discount which did not show up on my bill. The agent was very helpfully. He corrected the billing problem. He assured me that Select is a highly rated company. They have the best fee for service, and are very customer agents. He assured me I would receive my contract in my email.

Select Home Warranty's Roof coverage does NOT cover roofs. Read the fine print. Nothing is covered. The agent actually stated - the free roof coverage on the platinum plan is free, so it doesn't actually cover anything. When first they declined to cover my leak due to paragraph 6.4.2, the agent said, "Give me a few minutes to work with the team to find another paragraph that will be more appropriate to decline your claim." Save your money. Just have your realtor give you $1350 instead, and kick you in **. You'll be happier.
