Seems like a good company so far. The escalation manager, Peter, was quite helpful on answering my detailed questions and correcting some mis-information I received from the salesman. To receive full coverage, which I had asked sales about, I found out from Peter would cost a bit more. He helped me get it set up properly.

I haven’t had service done yet, but had great customer service whilst looking for rates and best home warranty for my home! I really appreciated their time and effort to get me the best coverage that suited me most. If I would be to recommend I definitely would, they tried to help me get a better deal to even pay less and have more time with them, but it just wasn’t for me, it was a great offer however.

Texas is a bit strange for these companies. I was struggling to find a better company after a terrible experience with a competitor. This company gave me a great multi years deal plus months free for an amazing value. You can't beat these prices plus, the service is much better. Overall, I am happy with my decision.

The customer service was great! They have a fantastic value especially if you can pay for a year. I would give them a call and see if they can meet your needs. I have almost everything in my house covered for a great value. Sign up was easy. Was all done over the phone.

The agent who helped us was very thoughtful and wanted us to have the best deal. He asked us all the right questions so we could qualify. He was thorough and polite. He explained all the plans effectively. He made it very easy to decide.

I shopped for a new home warranty provider, and this one seemed like the best. We got a good long-term rate with a low service call payment. You hope you won't need to make a claim, but if you do you can rest easy that it won't cost an arm and a leg for a repair.

The agent spent a long time on the phone explaining everything in great length to my satisfaction and convinced me it was a good investment. I promptly received my contract with detailed information. The contract is worded well and easily understood. I am pleased that at any time I am not satisfied, I can cancel the contract and receive a prorated refund.

I researched home warranty companies extensively and Select is rated #1 for 2021 so I chose them after reviewing options for several companies. The only drawback was the high pressure sales on the call to upgrade to 5 years, then when declined to push for 3 years (all paid up front). I didn't go with either.

The Representative was friendly and enthusiastic. Somewhat pushy. But it was good to hear different options of discounts when I decided not to purchase. The Rep was knowledgeable with the different coverages. Hopefully he didn't exaggerate the coverage. There varies plans: Annual Plans, 3 year plans, and 5 years plan. I ended getting the 3 years plan to get the discounted service call.

I only just got my contract but I enjoyed speaking to Alex and having him answer my questions about the Warranty and how it works. I still have a few questions after going over the contract but one of his associates answered some today. The cost certainly seems reasonable as well as the deductible for the technician and his trip charge. Plus you have 30 days to evaluate the contract before it starts. With the poor quality and short lifetime of today's appliances the warranty seems to be a good deal.

Customer Service very helpful. I look forward to a successful working agreement in the future. The agent was very helpful and answered all my questions. The warranty seems to be fairly priced and straightforward. So far I'm very happy with the telephone customer service. After having read the agreement it appears that all my concerns have been met.

I was impressed by the salespeople ability to communicate using the King's English that I could understand, and their ability to quickly and clearly explain features of their system and their policy. I was happy to see clear value and cost savings in comparison to the contract, cost, and treatment I have been experiencing lately from this provider I have had for 18 years vs. the approach and customer service administration at SHW. I received the cost and benefit information about the policy I was considering quickly and accurate so I could make my decision about getting my new policy with SHW. Since I have not yet begun my coverage I can't comment at this time about their claim administration but was happy that I could talk directly to a live person about my claim submission and not be forced into a computer system or pay my deductible before I get to see a service contractor.

Our current home warranty provider decided to raise our annual fee even though we had no claims. We decided to check some other options and thankfully, we called Select. Looking forward to working with them long term. Sounds like they have a good three year plan for seniors and military.

Mr. Allen ** was the rep. He was quite courteous and knowledgeable in handling my renewal. He was very thorough in telling me about ways to structure my policy in order to save money (e.g., signing up for 3 years instead of yearly and save money on overall cost as well as the copay). I very much appreciate the expert help he provided.

I spoke with Mark today. He was very helpful at explaining to me home warranty coverage and getting me the best deal suggesting a three-year plan. Mark also got me 6 month extended warranty on this, which I LOVE free deals. Your company came recommended from a friend out of Kansas City.

Select Home Warranty has done well in their hiring of gracious and capable phone representatives. I continued, however, the cancellation of my policy because the financial decisions of the company have demonstrated that I am a target, not a valued customer. The company is deducting a much larger percentage from what I paid than the percentage of time I have left on the warranty I paid for. I'd rather work with a company that makes an effort to be fair to customers.

The agent was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my question, was able to assist with discounts as well. The coverage was a good cost for the amount paid if you get longer coverage to get a better deal. I feel that this policy will have better coverage than the competitors that did not cover anything.

I am hard of hearing so had my husband to call. He said they were very professional. He said that they were very helpful. And helpful, at first he said she was hard to understand, but the call got better. Just waiting for the tech. Now hope it's not too late when he calls or texts.

Salesperson Chase ** was very courteous. After having one horrible experience after another for the last 8 years with Fidelity, Chase answered my questions. Was very negative on appliance insurance companies. Hopefully they will do a much better job. Fidelity would keep me on hold for over two years and many times disconnect me.

The person l talked to was informative and really helpful. We got a better quote with Select. If you are looking to get a home warranty l suggest you call them before making a decision with someone else. The reason I put a 4 star is because I haven’t used it yet.

Jake helped just need the plan. Haven’t used it yet. So no input. Will have a better idea when I get to use the plan. Hopefully no time soon. Would like to receive a hard copy of the plan in the mail so I can read it. I have no more to say cause I never received the plan and haven’t need to call for any repairs.

My phone call was answered quickly and my questions were answered clearly. Belinda found my policy and emailed a Welcome Package and a PDF to me. She talked a little too fast for me to take notes and keep up. She assured me the PDF explained everything she'd verbally reviewed. The paperwork looks easy to understand.

I have just signed on with this company but so far I am very happy. They were the most reasonably priced and worked with me to best fit my needs. The agent was very informative and polite. I spent a good bit of time deciding which company to choose and I feel confident with Select Home Warranty.

I have been very pleased with Select Home Warranty. They are fast and responsive, and their customer service does a great job to help with whatever you need. I have submitted multiple claims and had no issues with any of them. Would highly recommend this company to anyone! I won’t be using anyone else in the future.

I shopped around and found this was the best price and great customer service. Great explanation of coverage and the extra 2 months. Harvey was great and answered my questions. I felt at ease with this company. I highly recommend them. We have used other companies in the past and we’re not satisfied with them.

We chose Select Home Warranty after our previous company left our area. So far we have been very satisfied. They offered us the best price and coverage after getting quotes from other companies. They are also quick to respond to emails and calls. Our coverage is very flexible too in case we need to make any changes later on.

Customer service representative was courteous and helpful, answered my questions clearly, suggested several good options, provided requested documentation immediately, and even had a sense of humor. The experience was efficient and pleasant and expedited my decision to switch my home warranty coverage from a different company to Select Home Warranty.

Shawn the customer service representative who I spoke with told me about all the options in a non pushy way, we made a decision and that was right for us. It was a great buying experience. Hopefully nothing goes wrong but if it does and the maintenance service is anything like the customer service will be set.

Barry gave a prompt response to my inquiry. He was very easy to talk to. All my questions were answered. Great service. I really appreciated his professional input. I made these initial inquires late evening and I did not expect a live person to respond in a such a short time.

Everything was quick and easy. Unlike some other companies I tried. So let's see how they do. I will update in a year. I have heard good things so I will wait and see if it lives up to it. Customer service was pretty good and everyone was polite and respectful

I have done my research for home warranties and SHW seemed to have the better rates, with better add ons. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is I feel the sales rep was trying to get me to spend more than what I could afford, and when I really couldn't budge I felt rushed off the phone.

It was very helpful to work with Jeff ** and getting a very warranty for 5 years. He did assist us with the understanding of the monthly vs yearly warranty and the discounts received. We have been having issues with our current Home warranty company so hoping to have a much better warranty with Select Home Warranty.

Good insurance at reasonable price. Customer service is very helpful. The deductibles are low and what is covered is excellent. I am very satisfied customer so far. I hope that coverage will continue to be as good each year I renew. I would definitely recommend this coverage to all my friends and family.

Sam was very professional and helpful. He explained all of my options well and answered every one of my questions! He also offered flexibility at a great discount and explained that the coverage could be transferrable or portable which was an offer I just couldn't refuse. Definitely great customer service skills. Steven ** was a low pressure salesman who explained the ins and outs of their service and quoted me a great rate. As a senior, I was able to get an even better rate with more time locked in for 42 months. I also liked the fact that claim service is State-side.

Jake ** was very helpful and professional in processing our Select Home Warranty contract. Hopefully we can have a great customer/representative business relationship. Looking forward to a good experience. Also in calling Select's number the call was answered and transferred immediately. Once we have our first repair issue I will be more than willing to input more information.

It was not explained to that we would have to pay an additional $75 with a tech visit, in addition to what we pay each month but the tech was nice and able to fix our AC unit upstairs. The rep that I spoke with during this time apologized for the lady who seemed to not have patience with me in explaining everything prior to.

Select Home Warranty was very quick to process the new contract. There were multiple plans to select from. There is no paperwork and everything is on-line. The annual quote was more competitive to my current warranty for many year. I was try their service and see if they are prompt in addressing issues.

Lucas was nice and helped me find the best discounts for my properties. He did try to keep trying to update me even after I told him several times my mind was made up and I was short on time - but it’s fine. That’s what salesman do. Switching over from another service provider. Time will tell.

I was favorably impressed by the representative's prompt and warm welcome and his comprehensive explanation of the coverage and additional premium savings. The additional offers made it easy for me to choose an extended plan. I look forward to having broad insurance coverage of our appliance, especially the expensive washer/dryer combo.

I am very pleased with anyone that I have spoken to. They are all very knowledgeable & helpful. They listen to me and try very hard to do what they can to help. I heard from the company that will come to fix the problem today. I appreciate the speed with which they have been so helpful.

I purchased a 3.6 year policy on the spot based upon the professionalism of my rep Noah. He knew his product and found a way to help me. Thanks, Noah! He said that he would be my contact in the future if I needed anything. That is a great company policy.

The rep (Zachary) was thorough in his explanation and approach for describing the product. He answered all my questions and was quick to point out all the benefits inherent in the package I was considering. He was considerate of my viewpoints concerning the some of the options related to that package and did an excellent job of providing customer service.

They promise a 24-48 turnaround for technicians. They will underpay what you pay out of pocket when you find your own tech. You have to call their # to get authorization when tech is at your home. They never answer, so if you have repair done without talking to them, in my case my a/c in 91 degree weather. Cost me $1300 out of pocket, they want to pay me $220 because they did not speak to the tech to authorize. They won't answer the phone and when you leave a call back # so you don't lose your place. THEY DO NOT CALL YOU BACK. Stay away from them, they are dishonest and worst customer service ever! Filed a complaint with BBB.

I completed an online inquiry, and I was called literally within seconds. Greg was thorough and knowledgeable, and wasn't shy about pushing me toward a long-term plan (which really makes a lot of sense, actually). I have been an active home warranty customer for over 7 years, but felt the service level of the prior company was sometimes lacking, as was the choice of technicians. I'm looking forward to seeing how Select does, and am glad that the terms are no-risk. Thanks!

I was impressed, as many others, with the offer. Pay upfront several thousands of dollars and you're covered for any breakdown in your home. Wow... until an actual claim is made. I filed a claim for my refrigerator and a technician came, I paid my $60. He identified four parts needed. Sears could not find the parts, after 4 weeks. Then the warranty co said they looked for parts but could not find them. Sept 11, I received a call stating they would provide $300 after I provided proof of full repair (at my own cost) or a new refrigerators. I decided to check on parts, called LG, and found Searspartsdirect.com had the parts! Yes, they have the parts! Wow! But the cost was $371. After this, labor.

In March of 2021 of the year I purchased the “PLATINUM PLAN” purchased (3) years upfront of which I am entitled to same day service, according to the SALES agent. On the 9th of September at 11:42 I called Select Home Warranty. Later that evening, Max Drain (a company an hour and half drive from me) emailed me offering to pick best time for me for repair. I choose mornings, system wouldn’t allow me to send just mornings. I called the number in email, no one answered, just a recording "No one available to take your call"…. That’s it and call dropped. I called Select group again in morning, they put me on hold and they called. When the operator came back on line said the repairman will call in a few minutes after they review paperwork. No one called.

I purchased the 3 year plan in 2019 for 3 houses (I'm a landlord in Texas). It was based on wonderful reviews and I had mostly good experience with them up until July 2021. I'm not sure if it's COVID or labor shortage but I was not able to get a technician on 3 out of 4 claims I've made in the last several months. One of the plumbing companies canceled the order, only to find out when I called them directly that they left Select Home Warranty due to non-payment. I've escalated several claims when I was able to talk to a customer service rep, but nothing comes out of it.

People, trust me, I have no axe to grind. I willingly contracted to do business with Select Home Warranty. After 2 months I filed my first claim, a simple dishwasher leak. I followed their protocol to a “T”. I received a notification stating I would hear from the contractor who was assigned my claim. 3 weeks later, 10 voicemails later, 8 emails later, and I have heard nothing, was not contacted, nor did I receive anything from Select Home Warranty. They have my money, 1 years worth of service fees, and they have disappeared.

Terrible Customer service. I filed a claim which said plumbing system and leak at the toilet seal, one rep said it is covered as all leaks are covered, now they don't even call me, I follow up after a week to know that an email was sent, it is not covered. I am surprised why it is not covered, there is nowhere in contract it says toilet seal leak are not covered, it is said plumbing leaks is covered. This is absolute disaster for me, and I truly regret leaving American Home Shield Warranty and coming to SHW. In fact, one rep told be last time it is covered and nowhere in Contract it says it is not covered. They use vocab in the contract to see how they can avoid coverage, stay away!!!! I am going to find out how can I can my money back.

I’m writing this review to warn others about Select Home Warranty. You do not want to do business with this company. The representative talked me into paying $2000.00, up front for a five year plan and this entitled me to “VIP” service. During the first year l was not happy with the service. I had a problem with my bathroom faucets. They could not get a plumber to come out so l was informed that l could get my own repairman and Select Home Warranty would reimburse me. The repairman charged me $85 for the repair. I sent the invoice and Select Home Warranty sent me a check for $45. This is one of many examples in which they refused to provide me service.

After doing my homework and comparing several home warranty companies, I came to the conclusion that Select Home Warranty was the one for me. The customer service agent knew the product thoroughly and was able to get me signed up in just a few minutes with no pressure. The coverage is great, they gave me two additional months for free and the copay per service call is below the other quotes I received. I hope I don't need to use the service, but if I do I'm sure I will be happy with the results.

Very helpful. Just got the warranty. Hoping, it is all they said it would be. Good price for the coverage. Licensed technicians to fix your problems. Seems like a very good company. Can't really say a lot more as it is a new policy. Again seems like a very good deal.

I have dealt with 4 different home warranty companies over the last 15 years, and my experience with Select has been bar far the worst. The sales person sold me on how responsive they are and their comprehensive coverage. The horrible service started when I put in the claims. The first was denied - they indicated they don't cover leaks, the second I had to call almost everyday for a week to finally get resolution - which was that they would not totally cover. Please stay away from this company and if you do decide to move forward, have someone very well versed in contract read the contract in full before signing up.

Ordered new plan. Rep was very kind, courteous and informative. Switching from Choice to Select Home Warranty. Better price, better coverage for the monthly fee which is even lower than Choice. Very important to have good warranty coverage down here in Southwestern Florida. I have swimming pool coverage, septic tank coverage and well pump coverage.

I got a call from Patrick ** to help me complete my order for home warranty and he was really good. He gave me a very good offer and also helped me match a offer that my friend was paying for. I liked the overall coverage of this policy. They have great cancellations and transfer clause in policy.

Very happy so far with the service. Awaiting the diagnosis part and hoping the contractor they use is qualified, experienced. The customer rep. was professional and patient. Explained why it is two separate claims which will be double the deductible. I felt that it would be an HVAC that would address both issues.

The rep that I spoke to on the phone was very patient and understanding and promised to send me an email which has arrived. This is my first contact for service and I am pleased with the response that I received.

Excellent customer care on phone with customer service. Very pleased with responses from customer service and coverage. Offers a great deal of coverage and options. Service deductible is fair and monthly expense is reasonable. Company appears to be highly rated and well worth the benefit of having this type of coverage.

A severe storm came through on 8/29/21 at night. A bolt of lightning hit a transformer near house. Lost power. Everything in the house came back on and was ok. The detached garage was not hit directly, but the force of the lightning struck disabled the garage door opener. There was power to it but it would not work and open the door. Was very pleased with the help from Select Home Warranty. They were very pleasant and helpful.

As a new Select member, the representatives were knowledgeable and patient. I commend my sales representative (Lucas **) as well as the claims representative (Zoey) expertise and service. I appreciate learning the process upon submitting a claim from Zoey. I look forward to submitting a claim in the future if ever needed because of this user friendly initial experience.

I chose this company based on customer ratings. The Customer Service rep that followed up with me was knowledgeable, courteous, and did not pressure me in any way. My options were fully explained and I felt comfortable choosing what worked best for me. This is not usually the case when being contacted by any sales arm of a company these days.

Very professional. Took time to explained every step that he took to fix problem. Would recommend to all that needed repair. The only problem, is with customer service. Your system uses people in the Philippines, who are rude - abrupt and complete idiots. They barely speak English, I had to spend over one hour to get things done. The worst.

Customer Service was great. My representative was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was able to explain the entire process of how to claim repairs as well as inform me of incentives for new home buyers which dropped my annual quote drastically from initial. Had a little issue with their website. Called talk to somebody within 10 seconds. Had my policy done in two minutes. Email confirmation in 10. Great Experience so far. I would suggest this to anybody who’s looking for home insurance. Super easy. Doesn’t cost much and you’re protected with the premium insurance plus roof, two months extra for free and doing this review gives you one extra month for free awesome great job.

I put in a claim online, it did take time to get the part, after receiving the part, the J&M repairman came and replaced pump that was needed. Works like a charm now, plus he replaced the water conditioner holder that was chipped hard to open & close. Very happy with service.. Very nice repairman service.

The telephone representative was very helpful, patient, and courteous while he walked me through the process of getting the Mfg, Model #, & Serial # of my unit. I called before 8 am on a Sunday morning. He said that someone will be contacting me in the next 48 hours to set up an appointment... This is the first time we've submitted at claim, hopefully I will get an opportunity to review the rest of the process? :)

I paid the yearly fee, but it was not showing in their system. They did find it under wrong address, all is corrected now. The service contract will be in effect in 2 weeks. So far I am satisfied with Select.

I joined SHW to provide peace of mind around repair or replacement of home appliances. Within my first 3 months with them, I needed my fridge repaired and water heater replaced. They said they would give me $275 towards a new fridge, as they deemed it not worth repairing. The water heater apparently isn’t covered. So I’m curious, what exactly DO they provide as service, if they can’t assist with the larger appliances?

I contacted Select to compare against my current home warranty company. Not only did the representative answer my questions but went further to provide both a savings and more coverage. He explained the pros and cons of annual versus monthly billing and we had it agreed upon within the call.

I am a new customer, and have not yet used my warranty. My 5 stars are due to the very helpful customer service I received when signing up, the rep ensured I received the best plan for my current needs. Based on my experience thus far I would definitely recommend this company.

After calling this company to get my information straight, 3 different people gave me all different information about my plan. I was lied to about the effective date. I was lied to over the phone twice that they would help me with my claim. Claim was defected via email even though for a 4th time I was assured over the phone that I would be helped. Worst company ever.

Motor on 11 year old dishwasher ceased functioning. Both myself and technician opined that replacing motor on old unit made no sense. Decided to buy new unit after Select home warranty (shw) provided their findings. After not hearing anything further for over a month I called. Each time I called I was told that decision was forthcoming in 2-4 days. When nothing occurred I would call back once per week, for the next 5 weeks. After the fifth call, I finally got a decision. They noted that they had been attempting to see if motor was still under warranty. That had to be a ** stall since the previous owner of the home was deceased before we purchased the home and the sale was done long distance with a relative, not to mention that this was an 11 year old machine. Their findings also noted the cost of replacing the motor was more than what the dishwasher was currently worth. Duh!!!

Very satisfied. Transaction took less than 5 minutes. I have a hearing problem, especially on the phone but your agent made it easy to understand him. He was able and to quickly find a previous quote I had the day before that I had wanted time to consider other companies. Your plan was the best fit for me. Charles

I wanted to obtain a Home Warranty and after reading reviews and ratings I selected Select Home Warranty as the company I wanted to work with. It was easy to sign up, but also got a call from Tom ** to go over the purchase and some options that might benefit me. I discovered (through Tom) that there is a senior discount/military discount I never saw as options during the signup webpage. In the end I purchased a 3 year agreement, at a cheaper price per year and 6 months free. Certainly would recommend how Select Home Warranty provided the necessary info via Tom that saved me money and can be cancelled after the first year.

Overall, I was satisfied with the eagerness of the representative and the comparative rates with another company. I was expeditiously taken through the enrolment process. There was no waste of time. I had my contract in a few minutes and promised, and no duplicate calls from the company. However, the representative seemed to be in a hurry to get me signed, which I didn't mind, but it did raise my suspicion.

Select coordinated HVAC Specialists to repair AC unit same day of claim. We had cold air that night. Our only out of pocket expense was our discounted service fee, which covered parts and labor, much cheaper than most HVAC service fees.. Great value and service. I would recommend Select Home Warranty to anyone.

Purchased warranty which indicated that the refrigerator was covered. Our ice maker is not working (which is obviously inside the refrigerator). Received email that it is not covered... that I need to purchase a rider but can't do that now because it's been longer than 30 days. In the email message it stated that I hope the "call" with representative was a positive one - I did not receive a "call" just an email stating that the ice maker (again, inside the refrigerator) is not covered under my policy that covers the refrigerator... confused and dissatisfied.

Very happy I chose Select Home Warranty for my new home my wife & I just purchased! I purchased the 3 year plan and got 6 months total for free included so I’m covered for 3 1/2 years and don’t have to worry if something wrong happens in my home. Cost was cheaper than I originally thought it be and the customer service was very kind & helpful! Highly recommend!

Very good company, very easy and a great warranty, the only co. I could find to cover my roof, well, septic, pool stuff and appliances. My salesman was patient, took his time and helped me through the entire process. I would def use Select Home Warranty and give a high recommendation for any future home purchase.

I appreciated the call from a representative checking in on my new account that I set up online. But working with him I was able to get a better rate for a longer period of time. Since my brand new I have not had need to make a service call yet, I hope it will go as well as setting up the initial contract.

This is the worst warranty company - My AC was running but not cooling the house, instead giving warm air. In hot summer times in Arizona, I was stuck with 2 kids in that warm house (in triple digit weather outside - 112degrees) waiting on their resolution for almost 8 days. Everyday they promise me to expedite the claim and get the resolution within a day. After 8 days, they sent me an email saying that issue is not covered in my warranty. They should have told me this in the first place, so I would have fixed it with other HVAC company.

Day 3 - no supervisor available, no further information. Hey, just call back next week. This is UNACCEPTABLE response from this company. RESOLUTION is needed within 48 hours as promised in their contract. The lack of information is unprofessional and a breach of what was signed. I'm reporting this because I am very sorry I did NOT go with American Home Shield.

Just a day after I submitted a fridge claim to Select Home Warranty, they gave me a call to confirm my claim and appointment with the technician. The technician from A&E factory service they dispatched is very professional and patient with my questions about the fridge. He fixed the problem (fridge leaking) in 20 mins. I am happy that the Select Warranty sent the good technician that solved the fridge issue two days after I sent the claim.

The phone call to set up the claim was very pleasant and helpful. She gave me all the information I needed, the cost of the call, that someone will reach out to us to set up an appointment for service. Service from Cyber World Electronics was good and the refrigerator is working.

I spoke with Moe to sign up for a home warranty on my primary residence and rental property. I thought I was just going to end up getting 1 year, but Moe mentioned to me that since I'm a recent homeowner if you buy a 5 year agreement you get 1 year for free! I couldn't pass up that deal, so I got 6 year warranties on both houses. They even lowered their service fee!

It was an ok call. The Salesman was a bit pushy but I’m happy with the overall cost and coverage. I know most home owners insurance had a 30 day waiting period but the sales Kane didn’t say anything about it until we were hanging up. It doesn’t matter to me because I already had coverage but for home owners who don’t that should be mentioned upfront.

No claims or services done yet, but so far I would recommend Select to anyone! Just switched to SHW. There was a Labor Day promotion. And 3 years plan could be a good option if you think you would continue using home warranty. So far so good service! So far the service has been great. The agent explained everything to me even and asked if I had any questions. When I asked about other programs he was more than happy to explain them also even though they were not as good of a bargain. So far I have not used the service so I can't comment on that but as soon as I do I will update.

I had a home warranty when I purchased my home but I just wasn't happy with the customer service so I called Select. They were quick to offer me fantastic rates and a discounted call fee (which is what you pay every time you need somebody to come look at your warranted property). I hope their customer service is just as good now that I've purchased their product.

I have just renewed my home warranty with Select Home Warranty company. They are very easy to deal with and always pick up the phone. I did have a service call this year and they were extremely helpful and courteous. The agent was kinda pushy and dont like waiting time for 30 days, what if something broke during this time.... The agent did his best to explain coverage but didn't disclose fine prints what is not included or cover. They should include the coverage of water softener as well under plumbing.

He offered the most expensive plan (again, as expected) and I went over the options, stating what did and did not apply for my home. After agreeing on the plan, he then told me the pricing, emphasizing that prices go up from year to year. After some negotiating, I agreed to a 3+ year plan, the premiums to be paid in advance. We'll see what happens.

I was given the option of a three, five, and ten year plan with a military discount given that my husband served in Desert Storm. I have the VIP Package and my AC gave out in the middle of the summer which after paying $75 for tech to come out and recommended to replace my A/C. Select Warranty only is fixing a part even with a other things are wrong. Per the tech which said it is better to replace because at that point it’s cheaper compared to cost to add Freon and replace the part with labor and all else that is included. Terrible customer service and ethical practices.

I bought warranty services. My outdoor unit, the condenser broke, the technician came 7 days ago, the house is 89 degrees inside. The company still have not approved my claim, every time I call, they give me an excuse, one day they say it's approved and technician will call me to schedule, I wait, then I call both of them and say it's not approved yet. Scam. Liar. Didn't match the describe before I bought. I want to share I very terrible expense. Two months ago one of my friends recommends I should my home warranty. I went to Google search, found this company has very good feedback. I called the company. Would like to buy a home warry for my house appliance. I talked to some agents. They said I only pay for the first visit of a $60 deductible. The rest of the company will take care. "If the appliance is broken, we will take care of it and replacement to a new one or fix it. You don't need to pay any penny out of the pocket." After I talked to the agent, I decided to buy it.

I came home to find out by my neighbor that we had a major power surge in the community. It blew my AC and refrigerator so I was stuck with a hot house and my food was going to spoil. I called the 800# in panic mode not knowing what to do. The dispatcher said no worries and took down all of my information. Within 8 minutes after the call I had a confirmation of who was coming to fix it and when. The best customer service ever.

Select Home Warranty contacted me as our current service contract was to expire in 30 days. To renew my contract, the agent presented me with several options to make my next contract cover all my needs and at a very good price. One option was to use my own service tech if I desired and they would cover, which is one option not offered by another warranty company I was talking with. I have been pleased with my SHW in the past and hope to continue the satisfaction in the future.

Purchasing home warranty through SELECT HOME WARRANTY was an easy experience, Sales representative was not pushy at all rather explained all the coverages, contract terms and available opportunities for discounts. I contracted for 6 years at an awesome price of 5 years and my monthly fee is half compared to what I pay to other home warranty vendor. My service fee is also reduced by 50% at $60 per service call which is great. Overall I am happy with their sales process.

I have had another home warranty home which turned out to be less than promised. I have been reviewing all home service companies and their contracts. I decided on Select Home as their policies were priced fairly, their contract was easy to understand and the deductible was reasonable. This is our second home with a Select service contract. I was misled by Select... very bluntly. On June 30, 2021 I purchased a home warranty policy from Select Home Warranty, through a sales representative (known as Greg). When presenting the policy, Greg included Executive VIP membership for free (including certain additional coverage as well as same-day service). Since I have Freon AC, I asked him specifically about this coverage. Greg mentioned that "I'm in good hands because Freon will be covered as well". I made the purchase. When I received the policy, I noticed that the contract explicitly states that Freon is NOT covered. I emailed Greg but didn't receive any response.

The quote was better than other companies and sales rep Bryan was pleasant to talk to. We have not used any of their services yet. Hopefully when the services are needed the experience is just as good and they deliver on the promises made at the time of selling the home warranty.

I have been on the plan for more than 30 day. Select Home Warranty is putting less than 30 days in the way of doing what we customers are paying for. Are they for real or is the company a scam. Waiting for my replacement of my A/C, the technician said the unit is to old get replacement parts for that it had to get replaced.

I placed a request for a plumber through my insurance policy. They immediately sent out a technician who said I needed my toilet rebuilt, but that the work order had to be approved first. The request was immediately approved and an incredible technician responded and did the work. I couldn’t have been happier. The repairman showed me the parts he replaced and explained why I need everything replaced. He left the working area cleaner than he found it.

Just signed with Select today. After two years of horrible experiences with another warranty service, our property manager said enough was enough. She's been waiting almost two months for them to install a garbage disposal at our rental property. Today a new vendor was assigned, now the process has to start all over again. That's just crazy. The associate that help complete my purchase today was extremely helpful. She answered all questions to my satisfaction.

Very helpful customer service that explain all different in plans. Answer most of the queries I had. The plans is cheaper than other provider with additional discount in price, longer service year. 5 yrs subscription has further discount with more months covered. Overall I am happy. Would definitely recommend Select Home Warranty.

I spoke with David who explained about the differences in pricing between monthly payments compared to paying full yearly amount. I do not yet know how the service is considering that I just signed up for the services. I am looking forward to finding out if customer service is timely and efficient.

I had been looking at Select Home Warranty online, and found I liked the offers and coverages; all at lower prices than other companies for home warranties I had been researching. On a budget due to only income is Social Security, it gives me peace of mind to know I can get help to repair or replace something in the coverage with no problems. I even got roof repair leaks for free! They gave a generous discount for paying annually; another discount for being a Senior Citizen; and if it had been applicable; also offered discounts for Veterans and Military that are currently serving.

Experience with rep. was 100% positive. She was polite and helpful. HOWEVER, it is now the end of the day and I called at 8:30 am. I got an email stating that someone would get back to me within 48 hours! So I am sitting with a leaking toilet until they “find” someone. Then. It will take a couple of more days until that person can come. So it could be 4-6 days before my toilet is fixed. Disgraceful. Never would have signed up if I had known this before.

I recently signed up for Select and the process was very easy and straight forward. I am looking forward to seeing what the service will bring. Select was recommended by a friend and when I called, the service representative Bruce was very helpful and provided answers to the questions I had.

I believe I will be very happy with this company, since they have been in business a while and have many happy customers. In these extra-trying times, it was a surprise and a pleasure to have a customer service agent IMMEDIATELY answer the phone call I made. He resolved the issue very quickly. We are new customers, so we haven't needed to place a service request yet. So far, I am a happy customer!

I had National Fidelity Home Warranty for a couple of years and the experience wasn't bad, I just thought it wouldn't hurt to look around since my contract was going to expire in a month. I found Select and it was rated highly with more coverage, a cheaper annual rate and cheaper service calls, so I figured what the hell, why not. Ended up being almost half the annual fee as NFHW. So far I am happy but I guess time will tell. They do offer an anytime cancellation options which makes me feel better.

Very helpful responses to our questions about our new home warranty policy. I hope we don’t need to use it, but if something breaks it feels like we are in good hands! The price for the coverage seems reasonable compared to other companies as well. It was also very easy to sign up for the coverage.

This call went well! The gentlemen was very professional in explaining the various types of services and terms that could be added on to the basic contract. Although I don't appreciate "hard sells" he did a good job of explaining the details. I would recommend this services to a friend.

This seems like a great service and something you should be able to pay for and have peace of mind that they'll do what your policy states they'll do. Unfortunately that's not the case. I've been dealing with getting a claim approved and a technician out to fix our heater (which is covered in our platinum package). It is a boiler unit and I've given select the model number now over a half dozen times. They've rejected my claim claiming this an HVAC unit and quoting a part of the pick that has nothing to do with this type of heater. This is either gross incompetence or corruption from a typical low life company who has no problem taking your money, but not staying true on their end. From what I've seen stay clear and save your money! I'll be letting the multiple family members and friends I've suggested this company to when I signed up that their service is bogus and to cancel ASAP!

The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable about their product. I have had home warranty policies in the past and the one I chose with Select has been the best value I've seen. With multiple year options and locked in prices in future years they seem to provide a very good product.

I did a lot of comparative shopping and Select offers great coverage at a great price. The multi-year options are great and offer a lot of flexibility, the service is one of the lowest I found. The customer representative I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend to everyone to check them out.

We are very excited about having coverage from Select Home Warranty. They had the best deal for the best price. Customer service was great when they called to confirm all of the information. They were so good that they even convinced us to pay for the year in full versus monthly because we would save so much more!

Never use this company. They will do anything not to honor a claim. We had a blower motor go out on our main AC unit for which we filed a claim. On our secondary AC unit there was a condensation leak for which we never filed a claim, but because the technician wrote down both problems on the same invoice Select would not honor the blown blower motor on the main unit. Plus, the technician they sent (who was a week late) never filed a diagnosis with Select. I paid $45 for nothing. Select wouldn't even reimburse me for their failure. Please don't use their services; you'll be taken to the cleaners!
