On Sunday, July 16, 2017, I tried to contact Select Blinds by phone with a few questions about their motorized window shades. The website specified that personnel were available until 6 pm PST. I was calling from the East Coast at 8:15 pm local, but got a recorded message with the hours of operation. Turned out they are actually in the Mountain Time Zone, which if I had known would have stopped me from trying to call. So I went to the contact page on the website and filled out an online form, and submitted it. A few minutes later I received an email stating "Please note this mailbox is unmonitored. If you are need of assistance, please send your request to customercare@selectblinds.com"
So I sent an email to the supplied link, and soon received the automated reply that I would have a response in 24 to 48 hours. After 48 hours had passed I sent a second email. These messages contained the questions I had wanted to ask Sunday. On Wednesday, July 19, I received an email that did not really answer one of the questions, so I replied to it with such a response. An hour later I received a call from Mike at Select Blinds. As I couldn't speak right then I asked him to call back in a few minutes. 30 minutes later Mike called again. Now things got accomplished. All of my questions were answered, as well as a few extra that weren't in the emails. When I explained what I had experienced up until then, Mike apologized for my inconvenience.
Since I now had all the information I needed, I ordered the shades through Mike. He asked pertinent questions during the ordering about options I wanted. Before the transaction was finished Mike extended the limited warranty to 5 years from 3 years as recompense for the problems I had experienced. Mike also included the extra discount that had expired during the wait. He then explained everything I should expect up to, and including, delivery. Yes, there was quite a bit of frustration from the website, but Mike more than made up for that. His knowledge and professional demeanor made the phone call a pleasure rather than a chore. If you plan on buying shades or blinds, I can sincerely recommend Select. But, until they get the glitches out of the website, you should call and talk to Mike.

We ordered 6 sets of blinds. The wands that arrived for 3 of the blind that were the same size were all different lengths. Overall the length of the wands was inconsistent to the sizing of the window. I called to obtain correct sizing. The person resolving it was not interested in correcting the problem and sent six wands of a different color, which I received as a sarcastic response. I attempted to resolve it again by sending photos and measurements and then a single wand was sent after the third attempt and me having to react more aggressively requesting a manager or superior speak with me. They sent additional wands that matched. No apology nor contact from anyone in supervisor or manager status. We enjoy the blinds but the customer service is non-existent and would like to forewarn any potential customers to the potential frustration.

I have been ordering from Select Blinds for years without any previous problems. I misunderstood during my last ordering process and Brady took the extra time needed to guarantee my satisfaction. I have always recommended Select Blinds and after this experience I can say I will continue to refer them. The agent contacted me by phone and email to ask if he could be of assistance in placing my order. He also wrote that he would give an additional discount on the order. I called him back and he said that he couldn't give me an additional discount - maybe because the online discount for the day was better than the discount that was offered the day before, when he first tried to contact me? However, he did offer to add a longer warranty on the product, and I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend Select Blinds to a friend.

Ordered blinds on 5/07/17. Was promised the product in 3-7 business days. The status of my order showed "Estimated ship 7/7 Delivered...", and it have not changed to a week. All attempts to call the Select Blinds failed, finally managed to contact the company via live chat on 13/07. They admitted that my order had not gone to the production. I decided to cancel, but even that was not easy, had to cancel with my credit card. Very dissatisfied.

This is the first time I ordered from Select Blinds. We bought a new house and need to buy shades for the whole house. We ordered 2 bamboo shades to try the product and services before we order for the whole house. 3 days after my order, I received an email saying back order until Oct. I want to change my selection to another shades. Emailed customer service for several days and NO reply. Tried live chat for 3 times and eventually reached Gabe in the 3rd attempt. She said she will help me to change the order selection and will email me back in 1-2 days. Never receive her email!!! Lie!!! Emailed customer service again and only got automatic generated email. No reply!!!
I used the order number to track the order status online to see if that Gabe helped to change my order. Nothing was done!! It's still back order!! After my busy work, when I have time to contact live chat again, they are closed. Email customer service 5 times for over 9 days and NO RESPONSE!! I have no idea how the other people gave so good review and said customer service was good for them. I got nothing. No service at all!! Cannot reach anyone!! The only time I "chat" with Gabe online was a lie and did nothing, never email me back as she promised!!! I don't know how much time I have to waste on this order. They are surely losing a customer who need over 20 blinds for big windows!! I have NO time to wait as I need to cover my windows ASAP!!!

I have purchased double cellular shades for my home from selectblinds.com. After 4 years of use, strings worn out for 2 shades. I called customer services. After reviewing my situation, customer service representative Alexis talked to her manager Michael and they are sending me restring kits for free, even though my shades have been out of 3 year warranty for one year. Good customer services! Kudos to Alexis and Michael.

I made a total of 3 orders, all together included 16 blinds. Wait on the phone was too long (over weekend before July 4th). At times I was on hold for so long that system hung up on me. Also during same weekend, chat was not available when automated phone system stated it would. Service on phone was not available as early as the hours listed on the website. But received professional and friendly service when I finally spoke with someone. Staff included Tiff, David, & Alexis. Alexis was especially helpful. She was quick to resolve an issue for me. She offered (without me having to ask) her extension number in case I needed immediate & further assistance with my orders.

This is truly a custom blind company with the attention to detail and time spent optimizing window treatments for each room to make sure everything fits & looks just right. Our newly built beachfront home has a total of 24 large windows and doors. We need to dress them up to achieve the following objectives: 1. provide best light control due to the direct sun, 2. provide best flexibility to take in the beautiful ocean view, 3. last but not least, the price must be right. We've visited few local showrooms, gotten some quotes. The quotes were all very prohibited.
SelectBlinds was our choice, and we're extremely happy with our decision. Here are the reasons: 1. Alexis was our Sales Specialist and that was the beginning of the right choice. Alexis was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. She tops it off with her friendliness which erased all my concerns of going over and over some of the items, and to her, there is no "stupid question". 2. SelectBlinds products are made here in the USA, and come with optional extended warranty, which we bought. 3. Our order finalized with 13 line items for a total of 24 units, were priced very appropriately that we were able to conclude our windows / doors project in less than one week working exclusively with Alexis. All in all, I must say that Alexis with her professionalism, thoroughness, patience, and ability to offer best pricing, have earned our business. Thank you.

Dealing with various customer service representatives in obtaining samples and overall question support has been an easy and frustration-free experience. The reps are knowledgeable, polite, and do make an effort to help the purchase of the blinds easy. If the blinds arrive and are good as Select Blind's customer service staff, then this company is a keeper. Congratulations to whoever hires and trains the customer service reps.

I ordered one blackout pull shade for my daughter and in spite of their advertisement that they only take 5-7 days we did not receive our order for 18 days! I repeatedly tried to contact the company and never was able to talk to a person. I stayed on the phone on hold for up to 25 minutes one time and still couldn't get a live person. I couldn't track the order and finally had to do a live chat where they told me there was a delay. Because it took so long to get it we were unable to help our daughter install it as it came the day we left! To their credit they did reduce the price by 10% but I would have much rather helped my daughter and paid full price then get a discount for poor service.

I purchased Cassette Roller Shades from Select Blinds two months ago and ever since then dealing with these defective shades has become a part-time job. The shades I purchased do not roll up, and the width is incorrect. The website stresses that you should provide exact measurements of the inside of the window frame, which I did. Because the manufacturer did not leave a small space for the blinds to fit inside the window frame (which they do on all other shades as it is customary in the industry) the shades have to squeezed inside the frame. Even if the shades were the proper width, they were very difficult to install. I had to hire someone to help me screw in the brackets into the frame.
After weeks of attempting to install these blinds, I discovered that the roller blind is defective. It simply will not roll up on two of the blinds. Contacting customer service is a very difficult process. You cannot phone them to talk about an existing order (if you attempt to do so, you will get a recording to that effect). When you attempt to live chat, the person on the chat tells you to email select blinds. When you email them, it takes several days to receive a real response (that is not auto-generated). When I finally did hear from them, they told me to send them a photo of the problem. I responded with a question as to how I am supposed to photograph a shade that will not roll up? They then asked me to send them a video portrayal (seriously!). So I shot a video of me attempting to roll up the shades and emailed it to them (not an easy process as I am not a technology wiz.
After several days, they responded by telling me to watch a YouTube video about how to adjust the tension. So I watched it and followed their instructions. It did nothing. The shades still will not roll up. So I emailed them again and they asked me to send them a video of the problem (again!) At this point I was getting very annoyed. I sent it again and they told me to watch the video again. After about 15 emails we finally established that I had sent them the video AND watched the YouTube video and that did not help. They finally said that I could they could send me new shades at no cost that would have the exact same dimensions. At that point I told them about the additional problem with the width. They then said that if I want a different width I have to repurchase the shades at 50% cost.
When I objected that it was not my fault the width was wrong, they said I could get a store credit but would have to return the defective shades. When I responded with a question as to how to return the shades, I received no further response. That was over one week ago. I have finally decided to give up as this is really beginning to affect my personal well being. I have come to accept that I will simply have to forfeit the $240 I spent on these blinds or face further aggravation. It has been so incredibly frustrating dealing with this company. I am going to buy shades from another manufacturer and try to forget about my awful experience with Select Blinds.

Nathan ** was extremely helpful in walking me through the different options and he did a great job of taking the time to make sure I selected the product that would serve my needs best. Nathan was well spoken, intelligent, polite and very professional. Originally I was not going to purchase with Select Blinds after calling with questions and speaking with a sales representative who was a terrible communicator and was very difficult to understand. I decided to call back again in hopes of being connected with somebody else and Nathan recaptured my sale. He deserves recognition and a raise.

They finally refunded my money after multiple chats, phone calls, emails, a Consumer's affairs complaint, a Better Business Bureau complaint, lots of headache and almost a month.
I've purchased blinds from them before, they were good quality and worked. This is the first defective set that I have received and going through their return/exchange process is very difficult. They will question everything and fight you on the return or exchange of a defective product.
Even though I've received good blinds from them before, I still do not recommend selectblinds.com and will not purchase from them again. I would be afraid of getting a defective product and having to go through this experience again. I hope they take this review serious, as they can learn from this to improve their customer service so that others do not have to go through this.

I purchased a set of blackout blinds, they arrived defective, they refused to return the product despite their warranty guarantee that they clearly spell out on their website. I tried to return for a replacement but they wanted to charge me 50% charge to do so. They also would not return for full refund despite sending me a completely defective product.

I placed an order for two blinds. When I removed them from the box, I noticed that one had a rattle inside like extra screws or something loose that could affect the life of the shade and they were over $100.00 each, so I emailed them asking if this was a Defect. Their customer service department replied that I needed to identify which shade I was referring to (though both shades in this order are identical) and they Also stated "We are sorry to hear of this issue, but do require photos to send to our quality control department". I tried using selectblinds.com chat help Twice, but it is useless and calling them results in just being placed on hold for an hour with no one answering your call. I'm going to try blinds.com for my next order.

I started out on the Select Blinds website which was very in depth and easy to navigate. Helpful measuring tips were great and free samples were delivered quickly. The process to enter my 13 different window sizes and various shades was straightforward and easy to use. When I had a question, Alexis ** in customer service called me back within 10 minutes of my leaving a phone number. She was knowledgeable, courteous and helped me get an additional discount! The entire experience was user friendly and thorough. I would definitely recommend Select Blinds. I am a repeat customer.

I ordered blackout shades from the Select Blinds website, carefully measuring the width and length, and paying attention to their somewhat idiosyncratic instructions. Four days after I ordered them, I was sent an email telling me that their "supplier" did not make those blinds in that size and that it was a mistake for them to offer that option. I called back to cancel the order and was assured by the customer service rep that he did. Weeks passed without a credit, and I called back again. Again, I was assured that a credit was forthcoming. Less patient, I waited just another week for the credit, no credit forthcoming. This little routine happened several times until I lost patience and went through my credit card issuer. That works, but you have to line up the documentation, including all of the emails and records of all the phone conversations. You shouldn't have to do that because Select Blinds had inaccurate information on their website.

I am very pleased to state that Select Blinds corrected the issue previously stated with 100% satisfaction. It appears there was a miscommunication and the matter was resolved with a replacement order at no charge. It is worth acknowledging the quick response to the matter by the Company who was very polite and thorough in making sure a complete resolution was accomplished. With this type of customer service, I will definitely be ordering again through Select Blinds.

Ordered a blind and called BEFORE placing the order to verify the measurements taken. Received the blind and did not fit. Contacted Select Blinds and was given the runaround for days with canned emailed replies that did not address the problem. Finally, when pushing the matter, I was told they would not accept a return. Prices are not that good to lose money unnecessarily. Think twice before using this company!!!

I looked online a few months ago for wood blinds - pricing, not yet ready to buy. I got an email from a rep from company stating if ordered through them could have a better price. I explained that we were not yet ready to buy. I got a return email acknowledging and requesting that when I was ready to buy to contact them. I did not receive any additional emails from the rep pushing the purchase. However, yesterday I was ready to buy and I contacted them and they were able to give me a slightly greater discount. They have been easy to deal with. As long as there are no problems with the blinds when they arrive, I would highly recommend using this company.

We have purchased blinds from Select Blinds several times, and we have always been pleased with our purchase. Our most recent purchase was for our bedroom for which we wanted the room darkening shade. We absolute love our new blind that we can open and close with ease. The shade definitely darkens the room so when the early morning sun comes up, it doesn't wake us. We would wholeheartedly recommend purchasing blinds from Select Blinds.

The quality was sub par and the hinges were incorrect and after I contacted them they didn't help with the issue and a month after the blinds broke and damaged my hardwood floor. So their hinges are terrible, they are plastic, the frame is plastic, and they only have 1 metal piece where they snap the hinges in place.

I ordered 9 'designer' haha faux wood blinds, with the so-called 'professional' measuring and installation. The blinds themselves are ok, but the valances are truly horrible. They are all too short, and resemble parallelograms more than rectangles. I'm assuming that these things are extruded and sliced by a blade, and that the blade itself is just a smidge off 90 degrees. I've been going back and forth for ages over this, and NO I don't want to ship all these blinds back at my expense and have naked windows for Lord knows how long, just replace the ** valances! Also the installer removed and damaged the ONE blind I wasn't replacing, a vertical patio blind, and didn't respond until I asked for a manager.

All of the headrails for my 2" Faux wood blinds were cut shorter than the actual blinds. I reached out to them and they are less than understanding. They tried to tell me that they have to be shorter than the opening to fit, which I understand. The issue is they are shorter than the blinds themselves, which must also be cut shorter to fit the opening which I understand. The problem is the headrail is shorter than everything, so it looks stupid installed. Now they want me to provide photographic proof that they are short, which I have done. Not sure why I would lie about this though. The blinds themselves are correctly sized, so if the headrails had been cut the same size this would be a non-issue. I just hate that something so trivial is so hard for them to remedy. I don't want to jump through hoops to make them feel better. Just fix it already.

On March 22/17 I purchased 3 blinds by telephone. I was told I could get my blinds within 4-5 days if I paid $75. Express delivery. I received an e-mail 48 hours later stating my blinds were back ordered till April 3. It asked to have my $75 back since they could not deliver fast. Instead they put my whole order on hold. I told the person I wanted the order and to proceed with it, not to place it on hold.
On April 7 I chatted with a CS rep and he told me my order was on hold. I told him the story and asked they produced them fast. He was going to verify and get back to me. I tried calling and left a message after 35 minutes of being on hold. I tried several times to chat but cannot get through. I spent $1087 and cannot get my blinds. I cannot speak with a manager nor a customer rep. They keep sending me e-mails that they care about their quality and that they will contact me with 48 hours but they never do. I am so frustrated. I will never deal with this company again. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company.

I did have a problem, and select blinds was very helpful. They wanted me to be completely satisfied, and I am. You will be too. You can feel comfortable when buying from this company that they stand behind their products and workmanship.

Their faux wood shutters are not very nice and are pretty much a waste of time and money. To be fair they are "ok". But you will be overall disappointed. They have gaps, poor fit and finish, and don't stay closed. They want to pop open. You must rely on magnets to keep shut, but because the hinges bind, the shutter wants to pop open. See photos! Almost forgot they didn't even include the 8 screws necessary for installation, only 6.

Select blinds did remake the blind for me. However their customer service did not follow up. I went from "were deciding if we are going to remake your blind" to a notice in my email saying that "your blind has shipped." Between these two states there was NO communication from Select Blinds. Upgrading their rating to a 3 star.
They still need to get rid of the loud music on their music on hold, and follow through on their customer service better.

I am a repeat customer with Select Blinds. I ordered a series of 2" faux mini blinds for my house. A year later one of the blinds failed. Calling customer service I found the following issues: They will bombard you with loud music while waiting for help on customer service - this is unprofessional and childish. Customer service does not pick up. Instead of fixing my blind they sent me a part with the assurance that it would be easy to fix - it's not easy to fix. They will not cover shipping on their broken blinds. Their customer service staff seems disinterested and uninformed. You can do better than Select Blinds. Highly recommend that you shop elsewhere. They are not what they used to be - terrible customer experience.

What started out a little bumpy has turned into a positive experience. Select blinds resolved my issue professionally and to my complete satisfaction. Seems as though the product I purchased was a new line for them and perhaps not what they expected either. The service has been exceptional and I appreciate the consideration they gave to my complaint. I will try them in the future when I need a new blind.

Worst service and product ever. Ordered Faux Wood blinds. They arrived with absolutely no instructions. No biggie, we installed them and they fit the window fine. HOWEVER, they are supposed to be cordless, tilt to open blinds. Problem is, you have to pull the blind down past the window sill to get them to open and then as soon as you put the bottom of the blind back in the window sill they close! Essentially, these blinds are worthless. They won't stay open. The quality is also atrocious. This is simply plastic - not faux wood. It doesn't even look like faux wood.
So I call their Customer Service - no easy feat and was told there was nothing they could do and that the blinds weren't returnable because they were custom (what blinds aren't custom). When I asked what I was to do with blinds that didn't stay open, they actually told me I should just donate the blinds instead of just throwing them away. This is simply a sham to get a couple of hundred dollars for something that is simply not what they advertise, not of good quality and to add insult to injury, the product doesn't work. Do not buy from these people. This is not an ethical company.

I had ordered blinds from Select Blinds years ago without any problem. This time I ordered new faux wood blinds for my kitchen and plastic vertical blinds for my bedroom. The box with the verticals arrived in terrible condition due to carrier mishandling, and all the slats and the valance were cracked and I called Select Blinds to replace the order. It took forever to get through to Customer Service. You have to wait hours before you get someone to get back to you so I used their online "chat" which also didn't seem to be available, or I got constant updates as to when an agent would be available and instead of the time span going down it was going up, so I had to wait longer. I had to call them a few times to find out the status of my replacement blinds and commented that as the blinds were damaged my order should be a priority. They assured me it was but in actuality it still took 1 1/2 weeks to replace them.
I also called them twice to see when my blinds would be delivered and was told by the agent that he would email me with that information the next day, which he didn't. I then called back and that agent seemed to have the information immediately. The original order was also missing the brackets for the valance and have absolutely no instructions as how to hang them, so I had to hire a handyman to put them up. My two main complaints are that they are very short staffed in the customer service department and should hire a few more people if their volume is so large. Also, instructions on how to hang the vertical blinds or any blinds should be in every order but they weren't in either the original or the replacement blinds. I don't think I will order from Select Blinds again because if there is a problem it seems to take forever to get it resolved.

Product I order was very nice and easy to order and install. I had a problem with one of the products in my order and that was after their rep helped me finalize the order. When I tried reaching out for customer service post delivery the process took forever. I had to wait on hold for very long, representatives did not call me back when they promised, and they were not familiar with their own product line and so things they promised me to fix it they later retracted. I would not reorder from them.

There are absolutely no customer service with SelectBlinds.com. You can call at any time of their hours of operation with no luck of reaching them. Unless you speak with sales. I made an order and was charged the full amount. I see the charge on my credit card on the same day. After a week, I did not see any tracking of my order. I reached out to them. They said the order price was wrong and need me to add another 100 dollars to the order. I checked the website and called back to request for the current discount which came out to 250. They said the order can only be at 290. I requested for them to cancel the order instead. They transferred me to a cancellation department which never picked up the call. I tried calling at different days and different times. I end up disputing the charge with my CC.

I ordered 5 blinds on sept 10th with the measurements taken by select blinds preferred installer. I paid him $75. Select blinds charged my card in advance when the order was placed. It took 5 weeks not 3 days and over a dozen calls to get my order. The blinds were manufactured wrong and are too small. "One is even 30" too short. They are not answering the phone, emails, or vet chat. Worst customer service ever. My only option is the dispute the CC charge and it's been 2 month... Do not buy from them...

I have tried to contact Select Blinds customer service department by phone several times. Every time the wait time is very long so I leave my call back number. In the last 2 days I have waited 5+ hours for a call back. I just have a simple question that is not addressed on their FAQ or Technical links. I ordered 2 blinds and both of them droop on the right side. It is the same exact droop for each one so there is some kind of a simple fix like a cord adjustment that I can make myself. I just want the answer to my simple question. Why has it taken 5+ hours so far to not get through to them? Very frustrating.

I have been wanting these types of blinds forever and I finally came across an awesome sale at Select Blinds. We bought sixteen blinds and I was very nervous because we had to purchase the blinds that were mounted outside the frame. We added 4 inches in width to all our measurements and they block the light out well. If I could do it again I may only add three inches to the width. But they look really good and I love the fact that I can have too much natural light with the top down, yet still have the privacy I want. Since we are extremely challenged in DIY it took us a bit to figure out how to mount the frames, but once we got one, the rest were one quickly hung. Highly recommend this company! Great quality and excellent sale price.

I recently purchased a set of the top down bottom up window blinds for my bathroom. They fit perfectly and I plan to purchase more blinds from Select Blinds. I really liked the way they fit and worked. I especially liked that they are cordless. My next room to purchase blinds for will be my living room. I would recommend Select Blinds.

I escalated the situation to the VP of the company and he resolved the problem. I was sent the correct shades at no extra cost to me. I am happy with the product and thank the VP for standing by the company's "satisfaction guarantee. I still wish the whole process did not have to take a month of me publishing negative reviews and dealing with their unethical customer service department but I am glad that it was resolved, in the end. I may order shades from them again because they do have good products and a VP who is an advocate for the customer.

They sent me the wrong roman shades, completely different from the sample they provided. I called and sent pictures in and got no call back for an entire week. I had to call back and ask to speak to supervisor who asks me to use them and she will give me a discount. When I told her that they do not fit with my door so I cannot use them, she proceeds to blame me saying that I did not match up the sample to the picture they have online! Their website clearly states to order samples because the pictures online are not accurate. She tells me that it's company policy to not issue refunds and that if I want them re-made, it would be at my expense. I am appalled at their unethical business practice of having the customer pay for their mistake. Their "satisfaction guarantee" is a big fat lie. Yelp reviews are consistent with my experience and I DO NOT recommend this company.

I ordered a total of 5 window treatments. One of them being a 2" faux wood blind. The mechanism where the wand attaches that is used to open or close the blind was bent, so when the blind was opened or closed the valance would completely pop off. Long story shortened, I called many many times. First I was told 'we will send you magnets to extend the valance out'... This did not work. The valance is heavy and would slide off. Then I was sent replacements blinds, TWICE. All were also bent.
I then had to take pictures of each blind and send by email, then I had to return the blinds, which I refused to send all of them back. I was told 'we have to have our engineers look at it'. I sent one back which was a complete fiasco. After they finally received I was told by Kayla that the engineers are looking at it. I never received a return call. After 1 near miss of an injury, and 1 certain nasal injury (the valance popping off and hitting 2 people) I have had enough. I called and spoke to Rashelle, which of course I haven't had a return call.

I ordered two large black out blinds. They are not inexpensive. The internal strings on one broke. I texted the company with the order number and they said they'd replace if I sent a photo of the blind. I have now emailed with photos on five occasions and tried to get through on live chat and telephone and have been unsuccessful in all attempts to get a response or replacement blind.

I will never purchase blinds from this company again. I purchase 2 identical blinds, both black in color, one blind came with black brackets to hang the blind from the wall but the other blind came with white brackets. I have been trying for a month to get Select Blinds to send me black brackets for the one blind but still do not have them. Every time we call they say they will send them out right away but we still have not receive the correct brackets. The last 2 time they promised to send the next day and email us the tracking number for the shipment, none of which never happened. Stay away from this company. If there are any problems you will not get satisfaction.

We ordered the arctic white. According to a sales rep we talked to on the phone, it's the brightest white. We received the blinds today and these are more vanilla than arctic white. Very disappointed with the experience with Select Blinds. They offered to send me the color samples to arrive 3 days later to determine if I was sent the proper color. This defeats the purpose of ordering online to expedite the whole process for semi-instant gratification. Now, the kicker is that I was told if this was the correct arctic white (more warm than arctic), then we have to pay another 50% to correct the issue. So much for customer satisfaction. I would definitely order from competitors that have non-deceptive and accurately named colors.

The blinds did not have the pre-drilled holes they were suppose to have. We had to do that and it caused a pull in the fabric. The instructions were poor and L brackets were so big they show above the blinds. Further, the screws were of so low a quality they stripped during installation and we had to purchase higher quality mid-project. All-in-all installation was a nightmare that took hours. One good thing I can say is the fabric quality is good.

I contacted select blinds and requested samples, several samples on two different occasions, which were shipped free of charge. Later, when I placed an order, the rep (Brittney ** ) was courtesy and professional. I received a follow up email that same day. And also when it was discovered there was a delay on the fabric I wanted, they gave me a date when the fabric would be in and since I ordered ahead of time it was no problem for me. I also received an email when the shade were shipped out. I was also told to inspect each blind and if there was a problem, I could return them within 10 days (of their arrival), even if the mistake was in my measurements and receive replacements if needed. They were all made exactly as described and the quality exceeded my expectations. I am not associated with this company or anyone who works for or with them.

I ordered blinds from Select Blinds on December 7th. A person named Danielle ***** took my order. Select Blinds immediately charged my credit card. She claimed that she would send me an e-mail with contact information and status verification. After receiving no communication, I called and Ms. ***** and she told me that she had made a typo in my e-mail address and would send me another e-mail with the information and her e-mail in case there was a problem. I still received no communication.
On December 12th, I finally got through to a Representative named "Jose". He said that they had sent me five e-mails. He claimed that he would ask the IT department about the problem as to why I did not receive any e-mail and that he would call me that evening or the next day. He stated that their e-mail sometimes end up in their customers junk e-mail box. Good to know! "Jose" said that my blinds were still in production and that he did not have the status of my order. "Jose" never called back. I decided, after not being able to communicate with the company and/or to find out the status of my order that things seemed somewhat suspicious and canceled my order on 12-12-2010 through their e-mail system as directed.
I also called and left a message on their answering machine as a follow-up to the cancellation of my order. I sent an email asking for confirmation of my cancellation. After receiving no response I sent a second e-mail asking for either an email or phone call confirming my cancellation. As of 12-22-2010, I have received no communication from Select Blinds. I also contacted my credit card company and placed an investigation of the charge. I am waiting on a response to the inquiry.
On 12-23-2010, after eleven days of no communication with Select Blinds,and having already cancelled my order, FedEx delivered the blinds. I promptly refused delivery. FedEx marked the delivery as "Refused by recipient - Not ordered". After sixteen days of not being able to track my delivery and three times being told by Select Blinds that they had no information on the status of my blinds, FedEx gave me tracking numbers for the shipment that I refused.
