I bought a 15kg Samsung washing machine Friday 8 July 2022. Wow what a machine. You can't go wrong when you buy it. Easy to use and do its job. It looks stunning. It saves water with the water levels and does not use much power. Best machine by far on the market.

Very disappointed at Samsung’s customer service. We bought a washer and dryer directly from their site. They forgot the piece to stack it when delivering and NEVER came back to install it. We have been trying to get them to come for weeks now. You will last a day in the phone only to sometimes get hung up on. Also, they transfer you department to department and NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING! Is absolutely ridiculous that after spending thousands of dollars there (including a 75” tv) they couldn’t solve the issue. Do not recommend buying directly from the Samsung website.

It was a total waste of money. After 4 years of using it only a couple of times a month light loads, since I live alone, the water is not draining after the full cycle is done! The quality is really not that great. Does not clean clothes properly and now because it's out of warranty I have to spend who knows how much to repair it. So I have to think about purchasing another washer after such a short amount of time! I am really disappointed.

We purchased this washer in 2014. It became very noticeable in 2018 that it was beginning to rust around the area where you placed the Clorox. Also, I noticed at the edge of the top of the washer, it too was beginning to show signs of rusting. This was very frustrating because it was only about 4 years old. I started 2019, early 2020, I contacted Samsung and they informed me that my warranty was out and they had a recall. They would have to come out to repair the recalled part and then they could address the problems with the washer. I never heard from them. I called back, but to no avail, it was hard to reach a person.
I did start again and I spoke to the rudest person ever. He was a matter of fact and let me know the warranty was out and I would have to pay for it. I called right back and this time I had to chat which was a pain, the person kept changing. Each time I did this, they told me someone would be in touch (April 10th - June 1st). NEVER GOT A Call. Finally, I had the time to spend on the phone with a representative, and he too told me that we would have to pay for this repair because it was out of warranty. Please be leery when purchasing a SAMSUNG, cross your T's, and dot your I's. I will never purchase a Samsung washer again.

I purchased a SAMSUNG Front loading washing machine for $1223 on May 23, 2022 through Home Depot. The washer looks great but does not work, spinning machine is hitting front door hard, Samsung will not help me. Washer is defective, Samsung saying they will call me back in 1-2 days, I've been awaiting without a call back so I them back for them to tell me the same thing. I paid $1223 for a new washer but They delivered me a broken washer without a refund nor replacement.
I am contacting my lawyer because I called and Home depot called Samsung without this being resolved. Home Depot and I have been documenting this very well. I just want what I paid for or I want my $1223 refunded. Please everyone please don't purchase Samsung washer. I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through. The washer is spinning and hitting the front door violently shaking and leaking. I wish someone would've warned me before I paid $1223 I feel like Samsung robbed me

I purchased a Samsung washer that began to have issues right away with it. The washer would start to leak water out of the front creases and the front load door even after securing tightly. My washer is a little over a year old. I called on my last day of warranty for service. Samsung support of course does not follow up. No return calls and allows my warranty to run out that day purposely. In the same day they cancelled my service call telling me my warranty was out. I contact Samsung support and all you get are people that are put sourced to answer these calls that you cannot understand what they are saying to you. I finally get someone in management and he becomes rude in speaking with me tells me it’s my responsibility to take care of the washer since it’s out of warranty. Mind you they discontinued the brand washing machine so therefore the parts are hard to get.
They don’t stand by their cheaply made products and refused to answer the reasons why the brand was discontinued. Rude, unprofessional, communication barriers, lack of concern for their customers, cheaply made products. Do NOT purchase Samsung products as they will care less and will want you to come out of pocket after warranty is expired. You're also put on hold 50 times or more in the time frame that you are on the phone with them. If I could I would give no stars.

We purchased a Samsung smart washer and dryer set from home depot (which by the way was the greatest!!!). On the other hand dealing with samsung has not been, we did not even have our washer and dryer set 30 days and the washer stopped working. So immediately we contacted home depot but because it was still under warranty through samsung we had to deal with them! This is where the nightmare begins... Oct. 2021 was the 1st phone call to samsung, they sent a repair tech to look at the washer; tech arrived 2 weeks later and tells us there is not a fix for it. They are still waiting on parts that are on back order for months now.
So we then called samsung back and requested for a full refund, so samsung then had us jumping through hoops to provide them all the documentation of our purchase which was no big deal until they said they didn't get this paper and then it was they didn't get this paper and so for the last year I have been sending in paperwork after paperwork, then they approved the refund and said they was sending us a e-check in our email to buy another washer --- (after spending over a $1,000 for a brand new washer).
I am still trying to get a refund! Today 5-4-2022 I follow back up with samsung and the guy tells me they cancelled my e-check because they didn't get the pic of the tag inside the washer that has the make, model, serial numbers etc on it removed!!! I am like what!!!! So you want us to remove the one thing that proves this washer is what it is!!! He says yes!! I think not and void my warranty through samsung!!! Now I am trying to reach someone higher up the chain!!! So please do not buy samsung!!!! They are the worst!!!

This is a terrible product. We bought this washing machine Oct of 2020. Within a months it started making a loud rattling noise - so we closed the door when we were washing clothes. In Jan of 2022 the noise was so loud that it was intolerable. Called Samsung multiple times. They sent repairman. He indicated the bearing unit for the spin basked needed to be replaced - but no parts available and unclear when they would be available. I asked Samsung if they could provide discount for us to purchase new unit - they said it was out of warranty and nothing they can do. We had the unit only for 1.5 years. Unbelievable that this is par for the course. Samsung used to stand for quality - but that is no longer the case. We are not going to buy Samsung products anymore. We are replacing the unit with a Maytag washer.

I have had a Samsung flexwash for 4 years now. The machine I bought never works correct. I have had problems about a year after we bought it new. So that being said. The problems we have had been from needing a new control panel to having it not spinning. Now they discontinued the parts for the washer. I spent 2500.00 for a washer that never works. I spent about 1000.00 for repairs. Think twice before you buy a Samsung flexwash.

I've had a large capacity Samsung top loading washer for about a year and a half. Purchased new at Lowe's during the pandemic. It has a sticker on it for a 10 year warranty which only covers the motor. The motor should die sometime mid next week from the other problems it has. I chose this washer because of the big tank, and it will wash a normal size load but it won't spin them. It gives a constant unlevel load error during the spin cycle with bells going off the entire time, it will fill dozens of times by itself to try to level the load, and the "spin only" cycle does the same thing. Just keeps refilling to try and level the load. Literally, it will do this all night long. At this point I am wringing the clothes out by hand and throwing them in a 12 year old dryer that won't die. If there are four tee shirts and a pair of socks in it, it might spin those.
This washer new was around $800 and I am now in the market for another one. Once I find a suitable replacement, I will probably light this one up with tannerite. I've had a repairman to it twice, and if the machine has no clothes in it, it will spin its butt off. Literally a useless machine, unless you want to spend hours of your life you will never get back washing one load of clothes. I started a load at 5:20 pm yesterday and at 11:13 pm, the bells would not shut up so I just turned the machine off. Got up early this morning and wrung the clothes out by hand and threw them in that dinosaur dryer. If this washer was a horse, I'd have already shot it.

I have lots of white or light clothes that have stained due to the defect on this washer. I called the samsung call center since 12/18 a ticket was made. I had an appointment for 12/20 no one showed. And here we are 02/23/22 and my washer has not been repaired, no replacement or exchange, and no refund. I was assigned to 2 service providers and later after month they had no one to service my area. So still in refund process which I have sent proof of what is required and still no service. My worst experience as of yet. Protection plan are a hassle. The outsource call centers are even worse. Manufacturer Samsung really needs to make this right.

The washer is appealing looks-wise. It has the extra door in front to add clothing to a load. It's rare you're able to use it because washer makes it IMPOSSIBLE so it's worthless. Loads take an enormous amount of time to wash. For example: 1 "normal" load using hot water takes up to 2.5 hours depending on your settings. Steam setting takes 3-4 hours per load. There's a "quick wash" setting that takes 25-35 minutes but it literally washes them for about 2 minutes and it just splashes it with water and tosses it from side to side so it rarely gets clean or smells clean. Laundry takes a ridiculous amount of time. This is no joke. "Towels" setting can not be set to "hot". There's no ability to customize loads how you want. If you want super hot water you can't use the towel setting. No ability to wash on "normal" "hot" for less than 1hr. & 44 minutes.
You cannot customize your loads how you want. You have to go with what the machine thinks it knows. It's pre-programmed and customization is not possible. Worst part of this machine is that the laundry does NOT GET CLEAN. The fabric is never submerged in water so it is not appropriate for items like a urine soaked blanket. The urine will not be washed out completely. I would say it's less effective than hand washing is. Capacity (load size). Don't let that big drum size fool you. You put lots of laundry in it some will come out not having even gotten wet. You're working with a 3" deep puddle at the bottom of the drum that is sloshed around splashing the clothes.
It breaks down frequently. I've had my machine less than a year and it has broke down 3 times so far. It does not use sufficient amounts of water. It does not submerge laundry in water. Instead, it sloshes laundry back and forth in a small puddle of a few gallon water. This is equivalent to spot cleaning. The fabric is never submerged in water. It only gets splashed. You can't use hardly any fabric softener. Unless you want to wait for the rinse cycle and put it in then. If you try to add at beginning of cycle you can only put a few tablespoons in if that. If you use more, it will dump into the wash cycle instead.
How I deal with it: My boyfriend hacked it so it fills with more water. BUT...it still is not enough to clean so he set up a hose right at the washer site. So in every single load I turn the hose on for around 10 minutes until the clothes are submerged. If you do this prior to turning it on the washer will drain it on you so you have to start the load then add water into the soap dispenser. You can't even use the extra door, it's useless. So the hose gets placed in the door of the soap dispenser. So far no issues but it's still a pain in the ** but it's better than using buckets of water like I did at first.
All these complaints for a $1400 machine. You're better off with a top loader. I think Samsung ought to stick with making their plastic phones or revert back to making clock radios. Leave laundry to the experts like Maytag. I don't want to hear I'm using too much soap or too much water, that is untrue. I've tried their recommendations and got the same poor results.

We purchased a Samsung washing machine, model WW 22K6800AW/A2 in May 2021, so it is still under warranty. Recently, clothes were soaking wet at the end of a cycle, even after running on very high spin and even with an extra spin cycle. I called Samsung, and reached a very knowledgeable and helpful technician, who walked me through the process of recalibrating it. Turns out I'm supposed to do this 5-6 times a year! It involves getting down on the floor and draining water out of a small hose at the bottom front of the machine for about an hour. What a mess! Then you have to open another, larger outlet and clean it and the filter built into its cap. Then you have to run it through a special cycle to recalibrate it. None of this is in the owner's manual! There is also a filter in each of the water hoses where they plug into the wall that have to be cleaned out regularly, involving moving the machine away from the wall.
I've never had any appliance that required so much maintenance. I am 72 years old and unable to get down on the floor to perform this maintenance. It took both my husband and myself to manage it this time, and we are both in pain from the efforts. What awful design flaws. I could not in good conscience recommend this product. If the salesman had told us about all this, we never would have bought this product.

We bought this washer 5 years ago and have had it service 3 times since. First time Samsung sent a guy out for a recall on the lid. Next time was a year ago when it was vibrating so hard it would shut down. Now today I spent $100. to have a tech come out because it would not spin. We followed the limited instructions in the manual which said, make sure plug is in and hit cancel and try again. The tech fixed it in 5 minutes. Said that when you hit cancel and restart it must sit for 5 minutes before it recalibrates itself. Would have been nice if it said that in the manual or when I asked Samsung about the problem and error message. They told me I needed to have a tech come out. 100 bucks out the window when they could have told me to let it sit for 5 minutes after hitting restart.

We called Home Depot, they said, "Call Samsung." Samsung said we voided the warranty when we tried to change the door to open the other way. I told her “the manual tells the customer how to change the door. And it does NOT tell you to call for support to change the door. So why are they VOIDING my warranty." If they are going to do this they should have the user manual CHANGED to say “call support to change the door, or the warranty will be VOIDED." May 09, 2021 I went to Lowe's and purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer Set. I purchased everything recommended including a 3 year extended warranty. 3 months after the purchase I notice a knocking sound while the washer was in spin mode. I thought off level so I check. That was not the problem. So I contacted Lowe's and they said I would need to contact Samsung. Well this is where the nightmare begins. Samsung had a process which included scheduling and send a technician out to look at the washer for repair. This took about a week and a half. During this time my wife and I are now going to a laundromat to do our laundry.
Once the technician gave his diagnosis that the washer was not repairable I thought it would be easy to finalize the situation. Exchange for a new washer problem solved. But Lowe's here in Hawaii did not have a matching unit in stock and I was told 6 to 8 weeks before they could get one in. This would not work of course for me or my wife. So I felt a refund for both washer and dryer was the ethical and right thing to do. But Samsung would only authorize the refund exchange for the washer and not the dryer because there was nothing wrong with the dryer. REALLY!!
I purchased them together and one without the other I pointless. So have Lowes give me back my money for both so that my wife and I can purchase a working washer and dryer set. Hawaii I will keep you posted on the outcome of this situation. If Samsung does not step up and do the right thing. My advice to everyone in Hawaii stay away from Samsung products so you to do not experience this nightmare.

I purchased a $900 Samsung dryer from Lowe’s in 2018. It’s roughly 3 years old. We have always been very careful with fire safety, and clean our ducts multiple times a year, and the lint trap with every single load. You can imagine my surprise and horror at finding 4 inches of lint inside the dryer cabinet after smelling smoke. My dryer had caught fire and we were just fortunate we were home to save my house and that we all lived. I contacted Samsung about this, because how is it possible that a dryer collects 4 inches of lint on every surface inside the machine when the duct work is correctly ran and you clean things out as directed? Defects. Look into a google search about hidden lint and Samsung and you’ll see I’m not alone. It’s a lint trap defect.
I called them to have them take the dryer away, so that they could find out WHY their machines were fire hazards, and they have repeatedly put me off, not called back, and offered a repair service on a machine that could have gone up in flames entirely and destroyed my home and the lives of my children if we had been asleep. We don’t dry clothes while we’re in the bed, but one spark could ignite at any time. The machine wasn’t made safely and the customer service is of the worst I’ve ever experienced. They keep trying to send someone to repair even after I’ve refused that service multiple times. After reviews on the BBB website, I see they do this so that they can avoid litigation on their death traps of a machine.
I own Samsung for almost all of my appliances and I’ll never buy from them again after seeing that they lack integrity and don’t care at all about customer safety. I wish I could attach pictures of phone logs, the dryer lint, the fire evidence and the email correspondence. I’ve spent more than 6 hours on the phone fighting with them and I wash my hands of it. Buyer, beware.

We endured it for quite a while then called a tech to find out the shocks need replacement estimated $420 to replace.
The dryer drum was loud with rotation and we had water leaking (which we thought was the washer). We had a tech come out and find out there is a leak in the inside of the steam feature, and the bearings need replacing. Another $400 estimated. After contacting Samsung, and their 1 year warranty expired, they offered a 1 time "warranty allowance" for the dryer internal parts but nothing for the washer. Bought these from Best Buy, when the unit was installed, I must admit I was super excited. That lasted about 2 weeks. My wife is disabled and I do the laundry, within 2 weeks I wanted my old analog w agitator back. First the washer is a cavern and does have a ton of room. However you can't select your own water level. I find that RARELY does the water level get high enough. This washer never seems to "balance" heavy loads like towels. Rather than stop and alarm, it will continue to run and run and run trying to balance the load. Once we left for the day, 6 hours. When we came back the Wash cycle was still running.
The dryer is very difficult to work on, you have to disassemble the whole thing. After about 1.5 years, the bearing started squeaking. Since SAMSUNG appliances are widely despised by repairmen you might as well buy a new one with the cost. These units were garbage from day one. The ONLY good thing I have to say is the washer is quiet. We used to own a SAMSUNG refrigerator too. Tomorrow new LG units show up after paying $1500 for a friggin' washer and dryer after only 3 years. Give me the ANALOG appliances back. All the 4 star reviews can pick mine up at the trash dump. Samsung washers and dryers are everything they are cracked up to be. The price was great for both and well worth the money. In reference to the washer, it washes very quietly and a bell sounds to let you know that the cycle is done. It locks once the load begins. If you need to add more clothes or detergent, you can also pause it. There are several settings as far as water level, temperature of water, and quick or long wash. If you are not satisfied with the way it rinsed, there is extra rinse. It also has a child lock. The dryer also has a child lock. It has wrinkle prevent and between 20-80 minutes for dry time. It has an indicator that lets you know that the filter for lint needs to be changed. I’m very satisfied with both.

I received this washing machine supposedly the top end model from Samsung which washes and dries your laundry in the same unit. (WD10N641R2X Washer Dryer). It costs you a fortune to buy this machine and how do you feel when they dump a defective piece on you and then do not respond. Looks like noise level is not even a parameter to be consider if you are buying this product. Firstly the machine is very noisy and you can hear the washing machine running in the entire 2500 square feet house.
Initially the installation guys came and did some fixes to reduce the noise a tad bit. But I am following it up with samsung support and their so called head services who vouch to be the escalation point in their hierarchy matrix but the only thing this head service team will do is write back a sympathetic message to you and show their eagerness to solve any problem you have. PERIOD, It stops there irrespective of how many ever times you reach out.
I had a LG washer dryer earlier and I am repenting my decision to give a chance to Samsung washers. When it comes to washer programs Lg have an option to wash and dry 6-7 kgs of laundry in one program. You set it up and forget it, you will have cupboard dry clothes next day morning. In its response samsung have a 59 min wash & dry program with a caveat. (It can only wash 2 pair of clothes at max in this setup and this is published on a sticker on the machine itself). How can you compare a 6-7 kg load getting washed and dried in one go with a 1-2 kg laundry restrictions in Samsung.
To make the list longer and give 16 wash programs to match other similar machines in this category they have given you useless but innovative programs - Drum Clean (which is not a wash program but drum de-scaling option) which takes away one additional wash program. Cotton dry and Synthetic dry has been considered as 2 additional wash programs. Also we have a 15 mins wash and 59 min wash and dry which they recommend of using for a very light synthetic load. No Duvet wash program, no heavy load wash program.
So all in all a cheap machine advertised as high end and priced really high with some bells and whistles like Artificial Intelligence driven machine, Wi-fi enabled and inverter tech which a normal person cannot appreciate its effectiveness and accuracy. What a customer need at the end of the day is a good quality wash with as less noise as possible. We do not want to inform our neighbors that we are doing laundry in our house.

Diagnosing a machine that is supposedly this advanced should be as simple as, oh I don't know, hooking up your laptop to or connecting via the wifi app... Said we could give them $500 to figure out the issue but couldn’t guarantee that would fix what was happening. My husband tried fixing the issue as well with no success. Needless to say we will have to purchase another machine.
Now our stove was purchased May 2016. Our stove is electric as we don’t have gas in our IL home. The stove will sometimes heat up to 350 but most times it turns off, as if I never turned it on. I've had this machine for a year now and the clothes still smell unless I select 3 rinses in the cycle. I've been very careful to avoid using too much detergent, but still, the same result. Also the cycle times are unbelievable. Do not dare use the heavy duty cycle as the cycle time ends up over 2 hours long. Nowhere in their manuals do they give cycle times, it's obvious the reason why. Also the water fill levels are all low unless you use the deep fill selection. Most of the time I just stop the cycle and add 1 or 2 buckets of water, otherwise your clothes just sit on top of the water and move around a little bit, they never truly roll over and agitate correctly. The engineering and testing on this machine was obviously lacking and Samsung should be somewhat ashamed of offering it for sale. I'm going to replace it with a Maytag heavy duty commercial machine asap. Don't waste your money.

I purchased my Samsung SmartCare VTR Plus washing machine at Costco for two reasons; I have never had an issue with anything I bought at Costco and my experience with Samsung electronics had been positive in the past. But I quickly started to wonder if I had made a mistake and against my better judgement I did not return it and now suffer with it on a regular basis. Initially the problems were of the type that could have been blamed on my inexperience with the new machine, so I tried to 'learn' how to get the most out of it but I've discovered beyond the shadow of a doubt that was pointless.
My first complaint was that the machine was too fussy about how the laundry had to be put into the drum. It has to be perfectly balanced, heavier items at the bottom and perfectly uniform around the outer edge. This takes time and would be tolerable if it were the only issue but it's not. The second thing I noticed was that the cycle was frequently much, much longer than it should have been and when I started paying closer attention to it, I was getting error messages that corresponded to "unbalanced-retrying" on loads that could not have been out of balance! I'm talking about some pillow cases, socks, underwear and casual wear (shorts/tee shirts).
Perhaps worst of all is that about 1 in 6 or 7 loads the clothes come out sopping wet, almost to the point where they could be rung and water would come out. Not that bad but just barely. So naturally, clothes like that can't be hung out to dry and they take forever in the dryer so I end up paying more for hydro all the time. All in all it's been a very frustrating experience and every time I do laundry I have to cross my fingers that they come out reasonably damp (and not soaking wet) and that the cycle will end in less than an hour. I won't purchase any more Samsung appliances and I think I will actually rejoice when this machine stops working some day.

We decided to replace all of our appliances with Samsung appliances. I did a good amount of research towards if I should go with Samsung due to me receiving a good discount through them; and I have always really liked their IT products. Everything I came up with was positive, that they were great, etc. I had experienced their customer support in the past, and thought it was great. Now, search after search I have only been able to find bad things about Samsung appliances; I guess I had some sort of bias in my query strings that I cannot even remember the pattern to match them up to the hits I was getting on Samsung being good - and I'm a bit horrified on the hits I am getting on appliance after appliance failing right after buying them (we replaced all of my appliances with Samsung).
It took two months for the appliances to come in. Directly after putting in the order, I receive an email that my PayPal account that I have had for something like 15+ years was being permanently limited due to suspicion that my account was setup with fraudulent, or suspicious, information. When I finally got someone on the phone at PayPal, they couldn't give me any information what-so-ever towards the information, said I couldn't verify any information, and that it was just going to be permanently cancelled; I was just happy I didn't have any money in my account, in doing research towards PayPal cancelling your account for no reason -- there were a lot of people who had money in their accounts and they actually hold it for 180 days, if that is the case. The situation just has gotten worse from there.
I saw that I had qualified for two different promotions that they were having. One was a free vacuum, and the other just said free gift. I looked on my receipt and it showed the free vacuum, and then another line item on the receipt showed the same exact vacuum. I thought that was silly to be getting two of the same vacuum. So I decided to call to see if I could get the free gift changed to something else. In the two months it took for my appliances I never got that sorted. It was just a mess, but I figured they just had a bad glitch in their system towards working with promotions... Oh, well, I guess we'll just have two vacuums.
Just before my applications were about to be delivered, I noticed that ALL of my haul-aways were wrong. It showed three microwave ovens on the one (I had never even selected to have my microwave oven hauled away in the first place), three washers on another, and it was just messed up. I had 6 appliances that I ordered, with 5 big ones coming in on the same day, and so I called to ensure that the delivery company was provided with the correct haul-away information. This was the only time I called in and was connected with someone who helped me, and it was an easy fix. I didn't have any issues with them taking the correct appliances on the day of delivery.
Just before the appliances came in, I received the vacuum. Just one vacuum. I got on to ensure everything was good with my appliances, the delivery date, and to see when the other vacuum was going to come in. I went between each of the line items to verify which one had come in, and BOTH-SEPARATE line-items were showing the same tracking number. Ok. Oh, well, everything is good with my appliances, I didn't really need two of the same vacuum anyways.
After the delivery guys left, I started setting up the appliances. My wife had been really excited about the washer and dryer, and had laundry she wanted to put in, so she asked me to do them first. I stopped hooking up the dishwasher to do the washer and dryer. I get the washer hooked up. I work on the dryer for a little bit, and then I look up to notice that this dryer doesn't have a plug! Oh no! This is an electric dryer.
It wasn't even a notion that I might have selected the wrong combo with the wrong kind dryer. Our ENTIRE decision process for the washer/dryer was having a matching washer, that we liked, with a GAS dryer. I had taken our previous dryer apart twice in order to fix it. I have done electrical work on our house, in which the previous owner had added outlets, and done other electrical work, that weren't mapped out appropriately. Over the years, I have just realized what circuits aren't mapped out correctly and haven't used them. I did partially map out the outlets once when I re-did the electrical box labels, figured out the messed up circuits, and tried to get a figure for how much I might be looking at to have an electrician come out and fix everything.
There is no label on the panel, and I knew that the dryer's 220V breakers were taken out -- there is actually a label sticker over the knockouts to not knock them out, but I have no idea if this was due to them adding breakers for adding a hot tub, or what have you; just the old 220V breaker off to the side and a panel that I have no idea about what its specifications are -- I do not do any electrical work that requires a permit; beyond outlet, or like fixture replacement.
So I have no clue what they did when they upgraded to a gas dryer, I like gas dryers tremendously better, and I just wouldn't ever choose an electrical dryer. I am near 100% positive that I chose a gas dryer based on remembering going over the selection with my wife, the entire selection process that we went through in finding a matching set for a gas dryer, and any slight doubt is filled in with the fact that I have outright factual evidence of IT glitches with my order.
We started on Friday contacting customer service, the evening of delivery on April 2nd, after I realized we received the wrong dryer. Call after call after call, session after session, it was transfer after transfer, and person after person who was just horrible. On Tuesday, my wife had lost faith in me, lol. She decides to get on and give it a go. After being transferred 6! times, she actually got ahold of an actual customer service representative. She was nice, helpful, and tells her that we need to have an exchange setup. She sets it up and tells her that it will take 5 to 6 hours to process. I was honestly just thinking, Thank God she got the runaround I was getting, lmao! I mean if she got right through and got that lucky, to me her being connected with an actual customer service representative after only 6 transfers was pretty lucky.
The next morning, I checked my email to find an email from Samsung. It shows that we are to contact the delivery company for a "return." It says nothing about an exchange! So I start the process of calling Samsung all over again. Now, Thursday morning, I had finally got ahold of someone who gave me the refund amount, and that it can "only" be refunding back to PayPal. The other agents, or what have you, who weren't speaking gibberish, all told me that they couldn't give me the refund amount even! Well, now I have the problem that when I ordered my appliances from Samsung my PayPal account that I have had for years and years is now permanently cancelled for no reason what-so-ever (the only variable is that I ordered appliances from Samsung).
Any refund that goes to it will be held for 180 days. I tried getting them to let me pay the difference between the dryers, I tried everything at this point, really. Aside for spending days full-time longer in trying customer service call-in roulette, I just don't know how to be connected with anyone who can get us a dryer and fulfill the legal requirements of my order.
I have assembled everything, the evidence and all of that, for a BBB complaint, but it honestly should not require that for something this simple. I don't know what we should do now. It is a mess. My mother keeps sending me these cheat sheets for customer service from websites she knew about, lol. There are actually websites with cheat sheets on how to receive customer service from companies? When did companies stop providing customer service?
I used my mother's cheat sheets to finally get ahold of somebody at PayPal. He, of course, couldn't tell me anything in regards to my account, it is completely dead, and no way of resurrecting it from being cancelled for no reason. But he told me that if they were to initiate a refund from Samsung on my account, that PayPal will refuse the refund, and that it is only money that was already in your account that they hold for 180 days.
With PayPal's already dishonest/fraudulent/criminal, what ever you want to call it, business practice that I discovered from experiencing it, I am, of course, going to do whatever I can to verify that is the case -- does anyone know for certain that is the case? 180 days is a long time to have that much money stuck in limbo. Does anyone have any idea of how to get ahold of someone who'd be able to change my refund method, to setup a direct exchange (with us paying the difference directly), or who could just fix this and make it right? I just want my dryer as quickly as I can get it.
We had gone ahead and ordered the new dryer, so that it'll be on its way. The gas dryer had my discount applied on the webpage, and I added it to the cart. In the cart my discount wasn't applied. I removed it, and went back to the page where my discount showed again. After several tries and the webpage continued to glitch out... I just went ahead and ordered it at the higher price. What's a couple hundred even more dollars at this point?
Like I said, I was able to get through to PayPal using a cheat sheet my mother found towards getting ahold of PayPal's customer support. They verified that my account was completely cancelled, and that they couldn't tell me why again it was cancelled beyond the reason that the account I created 15+ years ago became suspicious for fraudulent, or suspicious, information at account creation when I ordered appliances from Samsung. The guy told me that because my account is permanently cancelled that any funds that were to hit my account would not go through.
I verified a couple of times that if Samsung were to refund me that it would be refused, he told me yes. My wife and I then spent a long time on the phone before we got ahold of someone who then told us that there was absolutely no way for Samsung to change the refund method, and he put us on hold -- he said that he talked to the bank department (I honestly think they just make up departments at this point, if they aren't telling you that they have to transfer you back to the same department) and that they said that it will go through, and PayPal will keep the money.
I went on to read forum after forum of other people in similar situations with PayPal. They all had said that the refund would be refused and that they had to call upwards of two, or more weeks until they finally were able to get someone on the phone to change their refund methods so they could either get the money deposited to their new PayPal accounts, to their bank accounts, etc.
I had also talked to them about the pickup of the old dryer. XPO Logistics had sent me an email that they had a "delivery" for me. I was expecting no other deliveries, and assumed it was the pickup. It shows a return from the email from Samsung. I called XPO who had no record of the pickup, and I verified that they had the correct account, but he still said they had nothing regarding a pickup. I hung it up at that point -- working with customer service from dusk till dawn really takes it out of you. So today, I get a call from XPO who says they will be here in 10 minutes to pick up the dryer! I don't have a receipt from them verifying that there is a dryer to be picked up, it wasn't even scheduled, I have no way of knowing if I would even get a correct receipt, and I have no refund method established. I told them I will have to reschedule and the guy told me that his dispatch will be in touch with me.

That adds weight and undoubtedly causes extra wear on the bearing, but there is no other way to get a decent wash. Also, there is lots of gunky residue left on the clothes after washing, even when I auto-clean the machine once a week… which by the way is another annoyance. Next problem is that if you use the "Aqua Jet" deep clean function, it actually makes your clothes dirtier because it slings brown and black mold/dirt/slime flakes all over your clothes.
I regularly run the self clean function - this only makes things worse. Google "Samsung top load washer makes clothes dirty" to read a gazillion accounts of this problem. Clearly it is another design flaw. Do they offer to fix it or give you your money back - no. My latest problem... the lid is now broken near the left hinge. Again, another quick search of their customer discussion boards shows a ton of people have this exact same problem. Their response? It is no longer under warranty - contact a repair center and spend more money to fix it. No way am I sinking more money into this as I know it will just be a regular repair every couple of years assuming I can even get the parts that long. July 21, 2015 I purchased a matching Samsung washer and dry. I went by Consumer Reports recommendations to purchase this unit. This was a horrible error. I purchased the washer model: WF45H63008G/A2. 50 days into ownership the washing machine decided to flood my garage when a hose came disconnected. I called Lowe's service and Samsung customer service to register a repair request and complaint. The service Rep from Lowe’s “subcontractor” told me he sees this all the time. He stated he thought that this may be a manufacturers defect and something I should bring up to Samsung’s attention. When Samsung customer service called me all they wanted to know was did I have damage to the inside of my house. I said, ''No the washer is in the garage.'' When I advised Samsung, this may be a manufacturing defect they quickly dismissed my concern and disconnected the call.
The washing machine was repaired under warranty with no out of pocket expense. About 24 months later, I had another leak. Again, Lowe's dispatched a service person who found that one of my hoses was leaking again and replaced the hose and the hose clip. About, four years in the ownership I have another water leak. The tech came out this time from Lowe's again, He was unable to determine the cause of the leak and after fussing with the machine for about 20 minutes said he can't find anything wrong and call him when it starts leaking again.
Now, five years and six months into ownership I have another major leak from the washing machine. I am now outside of my five-year extended warranty through Lowe's so I’m going to pay for this repair on my own. I called a local service repair company; they dispatched a tech to come check it. They discovered the top water hose that feeds into the washing machine had a spring clip that was causing it to drip on the washing machine and that the hose had rubbed itself raw and had created a pinhole while rubbing against the machine chassis on spin cycles. This was pointed out as another manufacturing defect by the tech. I also learned later on from this tech that when the machine has too many suds they will vent out the back of the washing machine out a discharge hose on the very back of the machine which will run soap suds down the back of machine onto the floor.
The matching dryer has had the wheel bearing in the machine replaced once after a year of use. They came out and replaced a sensor in the dryer and a second wheel bearing after three years. These are the worst machines I have ever purchased. I will never own a Samsung product ever again. My previous Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer worked flawlessly for 12 years until the motherboard on the washing machine went out. I purchased the five-year warranty on the washer and dryer from Lowe's. Thank God I did because I've gotten my money’s worth out of that warranty. I will be going back to Whirlpool or possibly a Maytag.

Registered again to have someone come look and evaluate whether to repair or replace, again several weeks went by. Called again, person I talked to this time was quite possibly the rudest person I’ve ever talked to. I hate to make light of it, but it was almost comically funny how angry and unhelpful she was. Long story short, 4 years later, still waiting for the mysterious Samsung repair representative to arrive...They must be very busy or walking from a very long way away. We replaced the Samsung with a Maytag - fingers crossed, it’s been perfect.

I am here to share my nightmare experience with Samsung pertaining to my washer and dryer. It truly is a pathetic and I firmly believe it was a grave mistake by investing my valuable money into their high technology (latest model) washer and dryer. I will never recommend anyone to buy it. I am writing with the frustration today and pain, as I am now stuck with a broken wobbling Samsung machine, which is causing a crack in my ceramic tile floor in the laundry room, as they continue to shift and become uneven. The Samsung technician identified the root cause of wobbling and agreed to repair the tile crack. He himself opened the Samsung claim, provide pictures from damaged floor and then Samsung claims asked me to provide estimate. I provided the estimate and then denied the claim and saying is not our issue which was approved earlier.
I reached out from Claims Manager to Customer Service Manager and then to Consumer relations Manager, everyone with more than 3-hour calls, multiple days and times just so they can pick up my phone, and when they finally did, they broke my trust and failed to meet their promise. These Managers were receiving call somewhere in Southeast Asia, looked system notes and gave the same message. From my experience, the Samsung representatives are “liars”. One day they promise something, and even in written, and the next day they deny it. Truly pathetic and fake.
I really hope no one gets as stressful of an experience like I received from Samsung. These close to 8 months have been outrageous as I have constantly had to go back and forth with Samsung representatives to explain the situation and have not received anything that helps. I think Samsung does not care for the customer. I don’t understand what is going on- it was initially Samsung technicians, who came two times which made my washer and dryer situation even worse than it initially was and claiming they were fixing it. Because of them only, my machine started to wobble more violently and thus the cracks on my laundry room started to appear and are now enlarging and shifting, and thus I was relying on Samsung to help me out which they flat out denied. It is THEIR MISTAKE, so why do I have to take all this stress on my mind? I can’t keep juggling my time with the headaches Samsung is giving me every second of my life.

They gave me 2 solutions for the issue I didn't know I had 1) They will fix the issue and warranty the repair for a year 2) They will give me $18.00....That's right eighteen dollars! If I'm willing to buy another Samsung they will throw in another $100.00. As for my rust issue they are not recalling any washers for that at this time. Bought this washer and months later recall was issued for exploding lid. To Samsung’s credit they did offer replacement. Which I took for $100 (prorated on my length of ownership). Now not even 3 years later I have a rust problem near the detergent and bleach dispensers. According to Samsung this is a cosmetic issue. I beg to differ! It’s not a cosmetic issue if I get rust on my clothes. Never have had this issue with other washers I’ve owned. I always make sure the washer is dry before lowering the lid and this washer is not in the basement or damp area. SO DISAPPOINTED! Beware before purchasing this washer. You will be wasting your money. And besides all this the clothes do not get very clean!!

My wife put something in our washer which must have had a small amount of sand in it, and now every load we run has sand in it. We’ve tried a dozen self-cleans and the sand won’t go away. We paid $99 to have a Samsung-affiliated repair company (Lakes Electronics) come out to take a look, and they said because of the design of this particular washer, the problem could not be fixed. The wash plate is fused to the transmission, and cannot be removed and cleaned appropriately. The only remedy Samsung was willing to offer was to send out a different repair company (A&E) and pay for their visit. They booked us with A&E and then, unbeknownst to us, A&E decided to not accept the job. Neither A&E nor Samsung let us know that we were re-booked with the same company (Lakes) that came out the first time and could not fix the problem.
Our washer is now unusable and it’s barely three years old! We dealt with Rebecca, a higher management representative, and she did absolutely nothing for us other than repeat corporate talking points about how Samsung was not willing to do anything for a customer that could not have their washer fixed because of a crappy design flaw. We will never use Samsung again, and we will make sure everyone we know is aware of this experience.

We purchased 2 brand new Samsung appliances, a washer and dryer and purchased the accompanying pedestals from Home Depot. From day one, the washer was loud while in spin cycle. After working with both Home Depot and Samsung for months, it was determined by Samsung certified technicians, that the noises were due to setting the washer unit on the pedestal which Samsung made. We were told there was nothing they could do and to eliminate the noise we should not use the pedestal. It is very disappointing and we can't even put anything on the top of the washer because it just vibrates off. Be warned before you purchase. We are also unhappy with Samsung and their service. Several times my wife would create a ticket with a service tech only to have it lost and we would start over again. Service was unacceptable. It should also be noted that Home Depot was absolutely no help with this issue as well.

Customer service is very bad and it led you wait hours and hours on phone and 99% people complained. If you buy pair then definitely anyone in the pair doesn't work. This is worst and they keep you in dark. So I suggest to buy different company appliances not Samsung.

We have had issues with both our Samsung top load washing machine and dryer since purchase. The motor went out on the dryer within 6 months of purchase. It took Samsung about a month with 3 technicians out to fix it. Once that was resolved, the washing machine had a recall because tops were blowing off the machine while in use. The first company that was to fix Samsung's recall never called me back to confirm appt. The second company, after two weeks of waiting for the appt, never showed up on day of appt (even though they had confirmed it via text and phone call) and rescheduled me for another week and half out.
When I call both the technician company (A&E Services) and Samsung, they both confirmed that was my only option is to wait another week and half after already waiting for a month for the problem to be fixed. On top of that, the control panel doesn't work and you can't even start a wash cycle on any given day. However, for the control panel to even be fixed, they have to fix the recall issue first! Which, as I already stated, I've been waiting for a month + 1.5 weeks now. Thus, my control panel issue can't even be addressed yet. Lord only knows how long that will take. It has been nothing but a disaster. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product. I'll be going back to my old, Tried and True GE washing machine and dryer.

For Samsung home appliances first of all, customer service is 100% outsourced and it's a nightmare to communicate with them. On chat they sound like robots just copy and pasting their "policy" and very scripted responses, on the phone is not any better. CA agents cannot do anything more than what you can do with self service on their website, so they are completely useless.
Before I ordered my washer and dryer and included installation, I chatted with 2 people with Samsung appliance support and both told me that everything I need including the stacking kit was included with the installation. The day of the installation, I get a call to confirm my deliver, guess what, they now told me I had to buy the stacking kit and since it was not placed with the initial order I have to cancel the whole order and start over. So last minute I had to go to 3 different Lowe's and Home Depot to find this stacking kit. I have to keep an eye on it otherwise it’s non stop. I make sure that I load the machine so that it will stay in balance. Did some search online, turns out that other people have the same problem. Updated on 10/6/2020: I bought a dryer in May. It started making a terrible sound. I called the warranty number. Long story short, after 5 repair attempts over 3 months, and the dryer refusing to stay turned on, they agreed to replace it. I waited weeks... They claimed they called me to follow up but only had ONE call date in the log. Since I didn't answer (though I never got a call), they closed the case. They did not email or call again. They literally just closed the case. I had to call repeatedly again to get the replacement authorized.
After seeing nothing for 3 weeks, I called again. I finally got a confirmation email for the replacement dated September 30th. I checked this morning, October 6th, and the replacement was canceled. I called again. LIVID, obviously. They again say they called me ONCE, that I didn't answer, so they closed the case. AGAIN. Now they're telling me they don't have the dryer, so they will refund me. The space for my washer and dryer is very specific. No other stacking kits work so I have to have the same dryer except now I can't find it... So I have to figure out where to find THIS dryer and continue to be without a dryer, as a family of 6, until it gets here.
This dryer did not work for 2 whole months. I have literally spent twice as long trying to get Samsung to fix or replace it. I've wasted HOURS on hold, hours talking to their less-than-helpful representatives, and hours listening to their incredibly annoying and repetitive hold dialogue. Every time I call, "We're currently experiencing higher than normal call volume." DO NOT let them call you back. You will NEVER get a call back! I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance. I wouldn't take one as a gift. This entire experience has been a nightmare. A dryer not working 2 months after purchase is bad enough, but when your company can't call or email, follow through, and then refuses to actually make good on a defective product, it's indefensible. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Original review: I bought a brand new dryer, model Model: DV42H5000EW. After a few weeks, it started making a bad grinding noise, or like metal sliding on metal. I called their warranty department and they sent someone out 10 days later. The guy refused to fix it because it was stacked (which I said in the original call). Another week later, they sent 2 people out who also didn't fix it. I started it up the day after they supposedly fixed it and came back to wet clothes. I shrugged and set another cycle. I came back to wet clothes again. This time, I started it and watched. It kept turning off after a few minutes.
For every cycle where it senses the clothes are dry, it will not stay on for more than a few minutes. It only works if it is set specifically to 20, 40, or 60 minutes. This totally defeats any energy saving benefits and it intermittently still makes the original grinding sound. I called again and specified I did not want the same 2 techs to come back since they kept calling and asking for help with this repair. When the techs showed up again this time, it was the exact same two people.
I purchased the dryer May 5th, had it delivered a week or two later, made the initial service request at the end of July and it's the second week of September and my dryer still doesn't work. Due to the extremely poor customer service and their overall lack of response, I would never recommend Samsung appliances again. If a product fails, that's one thing. Stuff happens. You fix it. When your company offers no service to rectify the situation and repeatedly sends techs that are incapable of fixing the product, you don't get my business any more.

I had to write my experience with Samsung appliances somewhere & here it is. I purchased my first mid to upper range, top loading, Samsung HE washer & dryer at Home Depot in 2015 (approx). I was happy to purchase a high efficiency machine or so I thought. Water stays in the machine's outer tub, it's never fully emptied. I learned to leave the lid open so it would not smell. Cycles are long...120 minutes for bedding??? 51 min. for normal cycle. Then came the recall because of exploding machines. Get a new Samsung machine or $250 for a different brand (nowhere near what I paid for the Samsung washer).
I replaced it with another Samsung for cost efficiency & this one had a sink built into it for hand laundry. BIG MISTAKE. Same problems as before BUT this machine will leave a load of clothes wet but unwashed. Agitation? Not really. Paddles on the floor of the tub are "supposed" to move the clothes. Now you have wet but still dirty clothes..Lucky you, back into the machine for a second time. So much for high efficiency. I have learned to run water to trick the machine sensor. I add water on top of the clothes in the tub (2 to 3 minutes of running water from the spout for built in sink) so the fabrics are wet not to fill the tub. This guarantees there will be enough water added to clean the clothes!!!! So many tubs of clothes were not properly cleaned that I have to trick the machine sensors every time I wash a load. Where to begin? Our first experience with no agitator: I wouldn't recommend it. Clothes get hopelessly tangled, but I can live with that. The product recall was our first clue that this wasn't the best quality machine. If the top can fly off & kill you, that's not a good sign. On the upside, we got an additional 2 year warranty after repairs (which took over a year, btw). The machine is several years old, and although it will never come up to the phenomenal quality of the old Kenmores, it wasn't bad, and I love the little tune it plays at the end of the cycle.
As it turns out, that is the best feature of this nightmare. I soon found out this machine can't wash pillows, so either I go to a laundromat, or throw every soiled pillow out. Not very practical. Now, the worst problem of all...black particles are emitted with every wash. They cling to the clothes, and won't wash out. They accumulate in the tub, and there IS NO end! I've had the technician tell me there is no solution, basically. I've run the self clean a dozen times with: bleach, vinegar, commercial washer cleaner...Nada!
I'll call today again, and demand a new machine. We'll see where that gets me. I'd dump it and get a different brand, but my various repairmen have told me that they are all the same: expensive junk. When we sold our souls to China, our quality appliances went the way of the dinosaur. If they last 5 years, you're lucky. I've seen other review sites that falsely claim that one brand or another is great, don't believe it. Those days are gone, I'm sad to say. Planned obsolescence it's called. I call it greed. Well, I'm off to call Samsung again. If I was younger, I'd get me a scrub board & washing tub.

Purchased this machine a year ago and have found our clothing left with random stains. Thought it was creams used on the body, washing liquid type I was using. Tried powder and still happening with the powder found not dissolved in the tangle of clothes at end of wash so went back to liquid. The wash is terribly tangled at end of wash and not well spun. Have had to add extra spin time which is still not that successful. Every now and then the wash ends up very fluffy even though I clean the filters all the time.
The filters are hard to clean and most of the lint ends up against the tub behind the filters and ends up smelling. The tub clean takes an hour and 45 minutes and doesn't even clean the filters or machine properly. Went back to store of purchase and told to run through a few hot washes with a cup of vinegar to clean tub and do this instead of tub clean in the future and NEVER use a COLD wash as this is not good for the machine apparently, as no such thing as cold wash anymore!! And yet they all advertise this.
Went back to store again after purchase and they said I had to email Samsung to get someone to come and look at it. Don't even get me started on this process. HORRIBLE frustrating experience. Someone eventually turned up to look at it with 2 boxes of parts and then said it is probably the gearbox leaking oil into machine but he doesn't have parts for that today so they will ring me this Friday to take it away to be fixed if problem not fixed. I purchased a Samsung Washing machine and Dryer from Home Depot. I purchased the extended warranty (5 years) WA48H7400AW/A2. After two years we noticed rust appearing around the Bleach dispenser. This is located just as lift up the lid on this top loading machine front left side. I called Home depot. Would not be covered as it was considered cosmetic. Called Samsung, would not be covered as their warranty expired and did not impact the performance of the machine.... But If I paid 250.00 upfront they would send a 3rd party tech to review and would review the issue and offer a cost of repair and submit it to Samsung for possible refund of the expense. I asked if I could send photos to show the poor craftsmanship and the rust. No they would need to schedule a tech repair person to review and to advise. I declined at the time.
1 year later the rust continued to spread and now penetrated the top of the machine and there were bubbles under the paint around the bleach dispenser. I called Home depot. Same answer. Samsung stated no as they offered before to send someone out and we declined. A year later (year 4) started to investigate the overall damage and see what I could do to repair. I removed the top of the machine and identified that under the top of the machine there was a lack of powder coating/paint and that all of the hose clamps and screws were all rusted. The underside of the top of the machine was covered with rust in various areas. Overall very dissatisfied with Home Depot's response as well as the craftsmanship of the washing machine.
I ended up using Metal epoxy filler and filled the rusted out areas and reformed the edges where the bleach dispenser attached. I spent several days sanding off rust and re painting this 4+ year old machine. I guess now the 250.00 maybe not such a bad deal. But it's a washing machine... It uses water/steam... Rust should not be a part of the problem within a couple of years use. On a good note: the machine works well. Except for all of the rust holes. We will see how well my work holds up.

If you're lucky, you won't have any problems with the washer and their service! I bought my washing machine July 2019, less than a year old and now it will not run. After spending days on the phone with the Samsung folks, I finally get a promise for service from their dealer a week later. They don't have the flexibility to use a different repair service! The machine quit with a load of water, I had to squeeze towels by hand and try to dry them partially in the sun and the dryer because doing it by hand leaves a ton of water and they would never dry in the dryer. Washer is still full of water and hopefully it will not smell by the time they send me a technician. It'll take 2 repairs before Lowes (which is where I bought it) or if the technician deems it not-repairable before you can refund your money or exchange. So much for quality and service from either Samsung or Lowes. I'll stick to Home Depot next time!

The Samsung washer dryer combo works really well in small spaces. We live in a condo and we love it because of its size and it is very convenient. It's so easy to use, just wash a load of clothes and when you're done just turn the dryer cycle on, no need taking wet clothes out and putting them in another machine. How cool is that!!!

In general our machine is absolutely perfect. There are a few little idiosyncrasies, like the center cap on top of the lower drum axle, that's made out of plastic. It looks like chrome, but it's plastic. And it breaks at least once a year, and you have to buy one off of eBay or Amazon. The only other complaint is the whole mess around Samsung switching out the labels on the dial because of the betting balance issue. Kind of a pain in the ** really but it was a one-time deal. All in all love this machine.

I in general would recommend my Samsung washer. It has been reliable and relatively easy to use. I have had no issues with function. It is relatively quiet. The only issue I had is the finish. It seems if you walk by to fast it gets a new scratch. Not a huge deal because it is in laundry room but a little annoying. I really do like all the options for wash cycles and the sanitary function is a real plus.

Bedding must be done on a gentle cycle to keep the top from coming off and potentially causing damages to home or people. This requires at least 2 cycles of wash for a comforter to get even mildly clean. When this was discovered, the fix should have been more than a partial credit towards a new machine or a stick on a change to the wash selections.

My Samsung is a top loading washer. I love the capacity and all of the features. It's very efficient. It can handle a queen comforter with no problem. However, with capacity comes a drawback in a top loading washer. When washing smaller items, I have to lean over into the washer to get items on the bottom.

I purchased the Samsung Front Loader Washer & Dryer with pedestals. I love all the features on it especially the extra spin cycle. First load, the washer leaked all over my basement floor. It was obviously under warranty & was “repaired”. 2nd load did the same. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone at Samsung and when I finally did, they couldn’t care less about their piece of garbage. I had it repaired yet again with the promise they’d take it back if it did it again. While it didn’t leak again, it doesn’t clean. Every load comes out with pet hair still on clothes, simple dirt still there. It is a nightmare and I will go back to my top loader when this hunk of junk dies. I will also return to an American made brand. Samsung makes excellent TVs & that’s what they should stick to making.

That cover broke off in a week. The water control valve started leaking, kept dripping water continuously. It is kind of hard to get to, especially when the warranty ran out 3 months ago. The parts are expensive to purchase. But overall the price is good for what you get.

I have had the washer and dryer made by Samsung repaired 4 times in two years. I think something is new should have been repaired under warranty. When you purchase a new washer and dryer you expect no problem with it for at least 5 years. I had a Whirlpool washer lasted 20 years.

I have had my Samsung Washer and Dryer for over 5 years with no issues at all! They Wash my clothes perfectly. The only reason it don't get a perfect score is you have to dry it out and take the dispenser tray out when finished washing or it collects mold rather quickly.

Initially I liked my washer. Less than a year after purchase I got a recall notice. The drum caused injuries to users. But even prior to the recall the washer would become unbalanced with very little in it. It is mediocre at best. If I could do it again I would stick with a brand that is known for their home appliances.

Probably the worst washer I've had in 35 yrs. Doesn't add enough water to even wet the clothes. Has no agitation to wash the clothes and only spins the water out about half the time. There's no way to tell how much soap is left in the auto dispenser.

The dryer get hot but not as hot as I would like and it shakes from time to time. The washer is amazing, I really like that it offers a special setting for my special delicates items. It also offers a special feature for underwear.
