Please save your hard earned money. I purchased the Samsung Washer/Dryer brand new. It never worked well. Moldy smells and long wash cycles lasting over 3 hours, with a loud motor despite light loads. Small household so not much washing. In less than 5 years, I have to shell out money to replace it. Thank Goodness that I signed up for an extended warranty where I will get credit to apply to a new washer. But new washers are not cheap and I have to make up the difference. This was not something I budgeted for, noting that the machine is relatively new and hardly used (was in an insulated storage unit between moves). This is an unexpected expense that includes the hassle of going to the Laundromat every week, because I can no longer use the machine due to defective parts and sky-high utility bills because of the long wash cycles lasting hours and hours, and more damage.

The Dryer is just as bad. Laundry comes out damp in some places, and dry in others, despite over an hour cycles and me manually rotating the clothes midcycle. Don't get me started on how that valve on the Washer flood my house overnight, triggering the smoke detector alarm where the water was being channeled down to another floor. Had to call the Fire Dept. where they confirmed that the flood was coming from the Samsung Washer that had triggered the smoke detector. Rude awakening at 2 am, not to mention the damage and stress. Consumers need better protection. My next purchase will NOT be a Samsung. Maybe they are good for telecommunication devices, but not appliances, IMO...

I purchased a Samsung Flex Wash (top and front loading) washing machine in May of 2019. The washer is completely broken and now I have to buy a new machine. First, the top washer broke and I quit using the top washer. Then, after about a month or two, the front loading washer broke as well. I had a third-party service plan which covered a technician to come out and look at the washer. He ordered what he thought was a replacement circuit board for the washing machine. It turned out to be the wrong circuit board.

I have been without a washing machine for 2 weeks now. I found out today (two weeks after the service technician came out) that the circuit board for my washer is no longer manufactured and not a single place (Google search, Amazon, E-Bay) has the circuit board. Now I have a washing machine that is less than 4 years old and it doesn't work! I ended up purchasing an LG washer since Samsung washers are garbage. I would NEVER recommend a Samsung washer to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I tried calling Samsung to see if they could compensate me and give me anything towards a new washer and they were of no help! Lesson learned, don't ever buy a Samsung washer. I hope this review helps prospective buyers and warns them of the bad experience they could have if they buy a Samsung washer.

During the spin cycle, our Samsung washer threw error code 9C8, It's only 2 months old. Model # WA55A7700AV. I spoke with someone from Samsung who said it's a software update issue, but all updates have been done. Turning the unit off and on, unplugging and plugging it back in didn't work. There's not much online about this code. One search turned up a possible voltage issue, but that doesn't make sense. Power source hasn't changed. Just for fun, we tried another outlet and it still throws the code. Unit doesn't respond at all to pressing other buttons. We have a tech coming out, but the first available appointment is a week from today.

We bought a Samsung 2.6 cu. ft front load washer with steam in Sept 2017. We had an issue with a leaky hose in July 2022 which cost $437. This month, the drum broke. The repair man who came thought that it should be covered by Samsung. The estimate was around $800 to replace. Called Samsung and they said nope. Only 1 year on parts and labour. We will not be replacing the drum and we won't be buying any more Samsung appliances either. Super disappointed in the quality.

If you buy a Samsung washer do not expect it to be repaired. They have no repair companies to fix the unit. I had 3 different companies waste my day to tell me they can't fix it. So buying an extended warranty is pointless because they will not replace the unit either. They keep wanting to send service out to fix instead of just replacing. Now the washer is twice as much money so getting a refund for the amount is pointless.

Not enough water in any cycle. Owned for 3 years and outside is rusting. Softener dispenser never worked from day one. Service man called and said he didn't know how to fix it, call someone else. I did, and no one to this day has shown up. I will "Never" purchase another Samsung product of any kind!!!! Welcome to Chinese manufacturers!

I bought Samsung washer/dryer last year, washer (WF45R6300AV) did not last 13 months. The nut that holds counterweight around wash drum snapped, making the washer unusable, contacted Samsung service provider who told us it is not repairable, cutting my losses and going with LG washer WM4000HBA from Costco as they have 2 years warranty. Plus I bought 3 years additional warranty just in case, I had Maytag washer/ dryer for 18 years, upgraded and replaced with Samsung and regretted my decision.

About three years after purchasing my washing machine (2016), I noticed rust forming around the bleach compartment. There was no open recall or warranty on it until last year (2021). I filled out the necessary forms, and submitted documentation of my issue. Samsung reached out to me in September of 2022 to resubmit the information. Then I received another email that someone will be contacting me to schedule the repair. No one ever did, but I kept getting tickets numbers cancelled because somehow they tried contacting me but they couldn't. I have no missed calls, voicemails, emails, text messages, blocked calls, etc ..as proof of them contacting me. However, I decided to reach out and contact them myself to set up the appointment.

Someone was sent to my home not knowing the reason he was there. He didn't come with any replacement parts or anything to fix my issue. He said he will contact his supervisor and get back to me. That never happened. I contacted Samsung once again only to find hear that nothing else can be done to repair my washer because it's out of warranty. Apparently, it's an issue with many washers, and they're doing everything in their power to not have to pay to repair their faulty engineering. I will be shopping with another company. I've heard of how bad their customer service is when it comes to issues as such, but now since I experienced it for myself, I can believe it now.

We bought this product 15 months ago and within this time the drum has a big hole in it… How does this happen when there’s only two people at home using this appliance.. My husband went to Orville's to discuss this issue and the lady there told my husband, "I’m sorry but our appliances only last about three years." How unprofessional however how true because we also have a microwave drawer from Sharp that we bought at the same time and it doesn’t heat. I am hoping that Samsung come through in the right thing. I need to repair is it a replaces the dryer.

My washer/dryer broke down. I looked at local stores for a deal on both of them, but it was unsatisfactory. Someone suggested I go to www.samsung.com, because they can get us a good deal. I ordered both water/dryer, with the help of "Abdul from Qatar" as a customer representative. Great deal, free delivery and hauling of the old washer/dryer, minimal fee for installation. Delivery date: 3 days later (November 9th). Great. I wait for their confirmation phone call of the time of the delivery, only to receive an email informing me that the delivery day will be DECEMBER 31st! I spoke to 3 representatives who first said that I was "unreachable", even though I kept my phone next to me the whole day, I told them that's a lie and I can prove it with phone records from my company. Then, they said that due to the tropical storm "Nicole", the warehouse decided to close until December!

I told them that's another lie, because warehouses only close for a couple of days during storms, not a MONTH! I told them that I am getting ready to write to Consumer Affairs, Yelp and Better Business Bureau about my experience with Samsung.com and advise everyone to beware of its practices. I told them I want a full refund or a delivery asap. Finally they said that can schedule it for November 14, which is already 5 days late. I agreed, but I do not trust that they will keep their promise.

Had I known that I would be fooled like that, I would have bought my washer/dryer from the store. I have a large family and I need to do laundry every other day. Having a washer/dryer is not a luxury, it's a NECESSITY. That being said, I may add to this review if Samsung decides to not fulfill their promise again. People, beware.

I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer a year ago. I ordered it originally in August but it was on backorder. I was informed that it would not be available for two months. Unfortunately I had to switch payment methods because my credit card was stolen. They would hold the money on your card. So I had to redo the order in September. Well I received my washer and dryer on October 30th 2021. Less than a year later my dryer stopped working. Would not come on.

This is when the headache comes in. I called Samsung care by the way they don't. Told them what was going on. They told me my warranty expired in September. Wait what. Remember I said I didn't get it until October 30th. Well I got my receipts and bank statement to show it was delivered and charged on October 30th. They said they were going to only honor the warranty from my order date. People since when can a one year warranty expire before you receive and pay for the merchandise? Think about it this way.

Bought new washer set 1 &1/2 years ago. Just after 1 year mark acting a little off. Run extra cycles of rinse and spin without being selected occasionally to constantly now. Unless ready to replace parts from here on I don't recommend. Hope they fixed issue with later models. Did check and ours isn't part of recall.

We purchased a Samsung washer, dryer and 2 pedestals on 9/4/21. They were not all delivered and installed until mid Oct 2021. On Sept 30,2022 while washing a regular size load of laundry (it’s only my husband and I using the machine) the washer started banging loudly - then water and what seemed like pieces of cement started spewing all over the walls and floor. We called Samsung customer service and after many conversations we were told we would be given an exception for repair since our machines had not been installed until mid Oct, 2021.

The Samsung repair guy came out and discovered that a ring within the washer had literally broken in 1/2 and a huge bolt was broken in two. This is were the pieces of a cement like substance that filled the ring was coming from. He told us the machine could not be repaired- it would have to be replaced - and Samsung would contact us. My husband called back to customer support and after 1.5 hrs and 5 different people- he was told that our warranty had expired and we were not covered.

We spent over $2200 on washer/dryer and 2 pedestals- as a matching set - and now I will have to pay for a new machine out of pocket - in less than a year… I had an LG washer and dryer for 14 years… Washing clothes for 6 people and never had a single problem. My kids all moved out and I wanted a new set… I feel like I made a huge mistake purchasing from Samsung.

After looking online today for a new washer - I have seen multiple pics others have posted with the w the same broken ring on their Samsung washers… and Samsung not honoring the warranty- obviously this is a problem… and incredibly disappointing. I would have NEVER dreamed I’d be dealing with a machine that can’t be repaired - we are under a year using them - there are 2 of us… and we wash 1-2 regular to small loads per week! I cannot trust that a new Samsung washer won’t do the same- which means I will have to replace the dryer and pedestals as well if I want them to match. I need someone to contact me and make this right… but I’m not counting on it @samsung

Brought a Samsung washer and dryer 3 years ago. Only use washer once a week and rarely use bleach. The washer is rusting around the bleach compartment. I purchased the extended warranty for both from Home Depot. Call Samsung 1st and told them my problem. They told me I had to contact Home Depot. Called Home Depot and they say RUST is not covered under the extended warranty and it was a Samsung problem. Called back to Samsung and told them what Home Depot said and the tech on the phone looked up some stuff and told me there was a Warranty Exception that could be used to repair my washer.

A ticket was made and sent to the repair company. The repair company call and told me it was not covered under warranty and gave me a price to repair it. The price to repair my problem is a few dollars less than what I paid for the washer new. So call Samsung back and this time I was told that my problem is not covered and I would have to get it fixed on my own. I gave them the name of the 1st person that told me that it was covered and they told me that person didn’t know that it wasn’t a warranty issue, then they told me, "Thank you for calling Samsung" and hung up. Will Not Buy Samsung Samsung Products Again.

Order was placed through Samsung July 9th for washer/dryer and installation. Had 2 dryers dropped off and both were broken. Decided to return the items and purchase LG. Have scheduled twice (XPO Logistics) since getting approval from Samsung for all equipment to be returned. XPO Logistics failed to find my house after already being here 3 times. 4 delivery days, 4 hours each and 4 days. After hours of dealing with Samsung customer service and XPO, I still have 2 broken dryers, pedestals and a working washing machine in my garage. I now spell Samsung, LG. I will not do business personal/professional with XPO either.

Washer dryer I purchased for $2,100 in 2015 broke before I even used it for 6 years. On the machine it says the machine has 10 years warranty, but it was a lie. When I call, they keep me for an hour on the phone. They ask for too many stuffs, you give them, they bring another reason not to help you. They are my worst nightmare. I will never own Samsung product for the rest of my life.

Bought a new Samsung washer in April of 2022 and 4 months later it turns on but does not start. Called and put in a repair request, was told would get a call within 24 hours. No call so called again and was informed that there was no repair available in my area and had to submit my receipt for accommodations. Did so and did not hear anything. Called again and was passed around to 3 different people, finally got Bianca and she was helpful, sent her my receipt again and she set up for a new washer to be delivered from Lowe's (where we purchased it from).

Got a call 2 days later that they canceled my accommodations and I would have to wait for an update to come out. So they are selling washers that they know need updates and will fail after a few uses. Called again and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that one would not talk to me as that is not protocol. Very disappointed with Samsung and their customer service and them not backing up their product. Even asked for my money back and they said according to the warranty I would have to wait....

I have a top load clothes washer. Samsung Aqua Jet "VRT" SmartCare. Model WA456DRHDSU/AA. It is designed with a number of programmed cycles. They cannot be altered. Mine fails repeatedly on the spin cycle. If I have towels or jeans it cannot balance enough to spin smoothly on the final spin cycle. It will start to wobble and knock and then stop. It will fill up with water and attempt to agitate the clothes into a more even load and try again to spin. I put in a load the first morning, went out all day and came back to the washer beeping. It had repeated this cycle all day and emptied the 500 gallons of water in my tank.

The only way I can get it to spin jeans or towels is to watch when it finishes draining and starts the spin cycle. I quickly turn it off. I have to take everything out and wring out the water. Then I carefully lay the clothes around the drum in perfect sequence. I reset the washer to spin cycle only and carefully watch it for the first 3 minutes. If I have failed to create the perfect balance it will go off balance, stop, and start filling with water. I have to abort, rearrange the clothes and try again. This is a **!

I purchased a washer and dryer set on June 11th from Lowe's in Maine. It was delivered on June 12th the very next day. My customer service experience with Lowe's was excellent however just 10 weeks after purchasing the set the washer is completely dead with an error code ac6. The washer is completely unusable. I was told due to a software malfunction was the cause of the washer dying and because Samsung next update will not be ready until September 7th there is nothing that can be done for my washer. They are hopeful when the service technician can come on September 9th that the new update will resolve the issue but they're not even sure since the update is not even complete.

The set was almost $2,000. I feel I should be allowed a new washer because if it's already having problems to the point where it cannot be used after only two and a half months. Imagine where we'll be at 12 months and how many times this machine is going to need service. I contacted Samsung multiple times. They were unwilling to provide me with a new washer. They told me I had to deal with the manufacturer's warranty so essentially I paid two grand for garbage. I do not recommend Samsung appliances to anyone for any reason. Buyers beware.

Don't take my word for it, check out all the YouTube videos of Samsung washers that have mold. Mine had mold and rust in just 2 maybe 3 years. With the mold smell still lingering, I'm afraid the mold spores got behind my the walls.

Our less than 1-year-old Samsung front-load washer counterweight literally exploded. The washer moved across our laundry room and the washer and platform were both destroyed. Our daughter heard the noise, went in and tried to turn the machine off with the power button, and when that didn't work, had to risk injury to go behind the washer to unplug it. First Samsung sent a tech out, who immediately determined it was beyond repair, and spent over an hour on the phone with the company. Then, Samsung said they couldn't replace it (Home Depot & Lowes won't work with them - shocking).

Two months and about 14 hours on the phone later, after providing them copies of invoices and photos multiple times (they 'couldn't find them'), it took me threatening small claims court via a letter for us to get our refund. They wouldn't refund or replace the platform that their washer destroyed. One of their representatives from the Dominican Republic had so much noise in the background (kids screaming and doors slamming) I could barely hear him. It was obvious the company hopes people will just give up and go away. Worst experience ever. I've now been told by several service people that Samsung is THE WORST company. We will never purchase another Samsung product.

In August of 2021 we purchased a new Samsung Front Load Washer (Model WF45R6100AC/US) and the matching Electric Dryer (Model DVE45R6100C/A3) from Big Sandy Superstore in Chillicothe Ohio. We purchased Samsung products due to recommendations from our friends and family members, however I have to admit I’m NOT pleased with your product and let me explain why.

We had a washer and dryer that was 25 years old and it worked fine with no issues but we decided it was time to upgrade to new units as a way to conserve water and be more energy efficient. We live in a rural area so we have to drive 40 miles one way to even shop at the big chain stores in order to save money. Our washer and dryer is not even 1 years old and have had to contact Samsung to request warranty service due to the washer making a loud thumping and banging noise. It took over a week before a technician even came. When the technician inspected the machine and asked us questions he talked to someone on the phone and informed us the unit could not be fixed and it would have to be replaced.

Now I’m having to wait once again for the replacement. Then days later we are informed that the washer we had originally purchased is no longer readily available and this is where things turn for the worst. We now have to pick another washing machine - ( so much for having a matching set ) and we have to pay out of pocket another $700-800 until Samsung can refund/credit the original purchase back because of internal issues. This is absolutely ridiculous that as the consumer we are having to repay for something due to your internal issues, then on top of it all Samsung is NOT removing or disposing of the broken machine or hooking it up, now we are having to find someone and pay to dispose of your broken machine as well as having to pay for someone to hook it back up!

We are VERY disappointed in Samsung for treating us this way. We have wasted 4-5 hours on the phone with your customer service department and have had to adjust our fixed income to pay for another washer that was already paid for that was to be covered under warranty. We also have had to be inconvenienced by having to drive to the laundromat, it's not an easy task with our health issues loading and unloading laundry not to mention the costs associated with the laundromat. When you're on a fixed income and spend 1,500.00 on an appliance one would expect that it's going to last, and you should not have to pay again for another machine and wait to get reimbursed from the company that you have the warranty with, plus finding someone to properly dispose and hook the new machine up that’s another cost we now have to pay and to top it all off its not even a matching set any longer.

We purchased a washer and dryer brand new 3 years ago. The dryer had several issues over the years and is having one again now however the washing machine had developed a rust just over a year ago and had gotten extremely bad. Chipping away all the paint around the inner top and ruining some clothes. Seeing similar reviews I reached out to Samsung directly. They asked for model info and pictures which I promptly sent. They replied quickly that there is nothing they will do. Last Samsung product I’ll ever purchase.

I bought a brand new washer/dryer set in December 2019 in Brandsmart. The washer stop working suddenly. I use the machine is only once weekly for a light clothes. The technician inform me that the board doesn’t work properly and isn’t sending the message to the water valve inlet for filling with water so is a electrical problem. Long story short the machine doesn’t work and the cost for repair is super expensive. For me doesn’t make sense that a barely used machine is not working anymore and is worst when the machine isn’t abused, just an adult couple. My advice stay away from Samsung appliances. Isn’t the the first time I have a problem. Unfortunately I bought all the appliances Samsung.

Very disappointed at Samsung’s customer service. We bought a washer and dryer directly from their site. They forgot the piece to stack it when delivering and NEVER came back to install it. We have been trying to get them to come for weeks now. You will last a day in the phone only to sometimes get hung up on. Also, they transfer you department to department and NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING! Is absolutely ridiculous that after spending thousands of dollars there (including a 75” tv) they couldn’t solve the issue. Do not recommend buying directly from the Samsung website.

It was a total waste of money. After 4 years of using it only a couple of times a month light loads, since I live alone, the water is not draining after the full cycle is done! The quality is really not that great. Does not clean clothes properly and now because it's out of warranty I have to spend who knows how much to repair it. So I have to think about purchasing another washer after such a short amount of time! I am really disappointed.

We purchased this washer in 2014. It became very noticeable in 2018 that it was beginning to rust around the area where you placed the Clorox. Also, I noticed at the edge of the top of the washer, it too was beginning to show signs of rusting. This was very frustrating because it was only about 4 years old. I started 2019, early 2020, I contacted Samsung and they informed me that my warranty was out and they had a recall. They would have to come out to repair the recalled part and then they could address the problems with the washer. I never heard from them. I called back, but to no avail, it was hard to reach a person.

I did start again and I spoke to the rudest person ever. He was a matter of fact and let me know the warranty was out and I would have to pay for it. I called right back and this time I had to chat which was a pain, the person kept changing. Each time I did this, they told me someone would be in touch (April 10th - June 1st). NEVER GOT A Call. Finally, I had the time to spend on the phone with a representative, and he too told me that we would have to pay for this repair because it was out of warranty. Please be leery when purchasing a SAMSUNG, cross your T's, and dot your I's. I will never purchase a Samsung washer again.

I purchased a SAMSUNG Front loading washing machine for $1223 on May 23, 2022 through Home Depot. The washer looks great but does not work, spinning machine is hitting front door hard, Samsung will not help me. Washer is defective, Samsung saying they will call me back in 1-2 days, I've been awaiting without a call back so I them back for them to tell me the same thing. I paid $1223 for a new washer but They delivered me a broken washer without a refund nor replacement.

I am contacting my lawyer because I called and Home depot called Samsung without this being resolved. Home Depot and I have been documenting this very well. I just want what I paid for or I want my $1223 refunded. Please everyone please don't purchase Samsung washer. I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through. The washer is spinning and hitting the front door violently shaking and leaking. I wish someone would've warned me before I paid $1223 I feel like Samsung robbed me

I bought a set of Samsung washer and dryer about three months ago. While my washer is ok it’s the dryer that has issues. I can’t use it on any cycle except ”timed dry” otherwise it shuts off within five minutes. And one day it wouldn’t turn on at all.
