We bought a new house and the inspection company that we used recommended Safe Streets. The inspection company was also able to help provide some information and set the program up right through them. It also didn't have an extra step. We used to have Time Warner when it was Time Warner, as it's Spectrum now, and they are similar. However, Safe Streets is a little bit easier in terms of setting up and scheduling. I definitely give a kudos to our salesperson who was really great and thorough, which always makes the experience a little bit more easy. He was nice and he texted me beforehand to make sure that I was there in a good time and everything he would need to install was there. He also actually came out to the house beforehand to make sure 'cause the little system that was already here was really old. He was able to figure out what we needed so that it would be good to go ahead of time.
The features of the system are good and we have more of basic ones but they work well. We have enough for us and we don't have too much where it's over-complicated. So far, we're really happy with it. We use it mostly at night to make sure we're covered while we're sleeping and we feel much better having it. It's definitely a good sense of security. We live in a nice neighborhood, but one just never knows. Nobody ever robs a bad neighborhood. The cost is good too as the monthly fee is inexpensive. The equipment can certainly add up and they at least offered to pay it over time, which was good. We would definitely recommend Safe Streets to a friend and tell about our great experience.

The person who installed the alarm from SafeStreets was good. The installation didn’t take that long. However, the rebate was kind of confusing. I didn’t like how you only had a little bit of time with it because you're moving and you got a lot of things going on. The remote is also kind of expensive but the features of the system are good.

We had a company doing the security system before but the contract expired and they didn’t have any local technicians. I had ADT before and the service is pretty much the same plus I feel more comfortable having somebody local versus somebody out-of-state if I have issues. The SafeStreets reps showed up on time and were friendly and helpful. When the installers came in, they checked everything out and went over everything with me to make sure they were doing what I wanted and they did. They also knew what they were doing so I felt good about that. Then they cleaned up after.
I’m happy with the system’s features. I removed the motion sensors since I have a cat and the cat used to set the motion sensor off. I just got window sensors. The alarm panel is also more upgraded than what I had. With SafeStreets, I've gotten my money’s worth and I’d recommend them. They’re one of the #1 alarm companies and I’ve gotten good service from them.

I purchased a home security system partly to get a better insurance rate and because I was moving to an area that I was not that familiar with. Somebody recommended SafeStreets USA so I got them. The installer seemed well-informed and was very personable. He walked me through all of the different options that were available and recommended additional equipment. But the cost shoots up very quickly and is a little higher than I expected when you start adding other options like glass break, another sensor here and there, and a motion detector. Nevertheless, I like the features and I’m impressed with them. Some of the options are great wherein you can have the fob and just turn it on and off remotely. I’m also interested in the fact that I can shut down certain zones and have the system speak or not speak. I’ve never had an alarm before so it’s interesting for me and my wife feels safer. All in all, I was very impressed and I'd definitely refer them.

The guy from SafeStreets who did our install was great. I also dealt with some guy named Dave on the sales and he did pretty well too. I was impressed. I like the system's features. What I signed up for was supposed to be mostly free but then once it got here I had to do a few more windows and it was a little more than I wanted to spend but I’m pretty satisfied with it. I also like the quality of the equipment.

When I was in the military, my home in New Orleans had ADT security. It’s a good company. So when I bought a house in Atlanta, they were the first company that I went with. Safe Streets was the most customer-friendly among the different ADT people who called me. I also had a really excellent service from the gentleman who came to my house to install the system. He was professional and he explained everything to me and didn't try to upsell me anything. One time, I called him to ask if he could come by again to show me something. I also told him that one of the sensors kept falling off the piece of plastic when I opened the garage door. I couldn’t get off work until midnight, but he came at 12:30 at night to my home and fixed it. So everything has been super great.
Safe Streets said that the basic stuff would cover free equipment, but I had a lot of windows in my 2,000 square foot home and the master bedroom is on the main, so I made sure that I had the things downstairs to make me feel more secure and added more onto the basic install. When I’m not at home, I can put up the alarm. I also have the alarm on even when I’m at home at night. I have the panic button in my bedroom as well, in case of an emergency. The gentleman also said that I could divide the payment for the install into three payments, instead of one right away. But I thought as soon as I finished paying for that, I would just get one bill from the ADT monitoring. I didn’t understand that they were two separate entities until I got two bills in the mail, which they could have explained to people. Other than that, I was very happy with my experience with Safe Streets and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I thought of getting a home security system for peace of mind and a better rate for my insurance. ADT put me in contact with SafeStreetsUSA. Everybody was super nice. It wasn’t a whole lot of trying to upsell me. I just told the rep what I needed and he said what he could for me. He answered all my questions and then set up an appointment for me. The installers were awesome too. They helped out when there was a whole snafu with my phone line not hooking up. The issue was through Frontier. The installers said they were gonna hang out for a while, while I’ve gone with the customer service of Frontier. And then Frontier said they fixed it, but it still wasn’t fixed on Frontier’s end. Then the installers told me not to worry and that they would come back the next day.
And then right then, Frontier called me and said they found the problem and that they would fix it right that time. The installers hung around and squared everything away. They were immaculate about making sure everything looks nice. They put all the wires up and they were professional. I’d recommend SafeStreets. I like the features in my system and the cost for the quality of the system is really reasonable. Also, any time I had a problem, they took care of it. When my chime wasn’t working, someone came out the next day and squared it away for me. Plus, their price point is really good, compared to some other places.

Safe Streets is a good company to go with. They offer digital and wireless on the controls of their home security systems. I purchased a home security system to protect my house and the gentleman from Safe Streets who came out and hooked up the system was very nice, professional and knowledgeable about the equipment. He also answered all my questions. I like the features offered in the system and its quality a lot. Its cost seems to be in line to the quality of service too. Since we've had the system, we feel more protected and safe.

I decided to have a home security system installed for insurance purposes and SafeStreets was cheaper. Their rep came, shook my hand and he was very nice. He asked me where I wanted the system and I told him exactly where. He installed it, set it all up for me, showed me how to use it. I like the ability to turn the system on and off from the mobile app. I also have two Ring devices which SafeStreets installed which are very nice. I have a little child and she gets on and off the bus and I feel a lot safer knowing that she can turn the alarm on and feel safer herself.

We just moved into this house and it already had a system in place, so we wanted to get it activated. My experience with Safe Streets USA was nothing but good. The sales rep was good, although the guy that installed the system was a little mouthy. He was open to talk about anything, but I prefer an I'll-stick-to-business-and-get-the-job-done type of person. Nevertheless, the features offered in our system package are nice and the actual quality of the equipment itself is all good. Also, the cost is at par. I recommend Safe Streets and I would tell others that it's a value-added system. It's worth the effort.

I bought a new house and a home security system was part of a package deal when I changed my utilities. Safe Streets was recommended. The gentleman arrived on time and he was very polite. He showed me how to work the system and then he left. So far, I am impressed. I like knowing that whenever the door is open, I hear the system. I also like that I could look on my phone to check and see what's going on inside my house, especially when I'm away. That makes me feel a little bit safer. I like the features of the system, but I'm going to have to expand. I need more cameras and get the doorbell thing too. The cost is good and really reasonable. Overall, the system is reliable and the people are nice.

We’ve lived in our neighborhood since 2001 and the last couple of years, it seemed like things have gone through the roof crime-wise so we decided to do something with it. I looked into some information online, talked to a couple of people and I wanted to go with the best with ADT. SafeStreetsUSA called me several times and finally, I was able to talk to them and get all lined up. However, I got a problem with the motion sensor in the front. It has gone off several times. I changed the battery out in case that was the problem but that was not the issue. SafeStreetsUSA walked me through some troubleshooting steps and asked me a bunch of stuff this morning. I asked them to just send a guy out. I got the system on June 1st and the battery especially, should last a lot longer.
I also mentioned to the guy from ADT who called me that I’m a little disappointed in the Ring doorbell. When I talked to the SafeStreets folks and they sold me on the plan, I asked if I will be able to record information on my cameras. They said that I can on my two ADT cameras but no, I couldn’t. I talked to the Ring folks to set it up so I have to pay the extra $30 a year so, there was a little bit of an issue there. Still, I really like the camera and the ability to be able to record. The other two ADT cameras are nice to have. I can pull them up and look in case there is an alarm or something going on.

My mother was sick and we needed to keep her house secured. We have ADT in our house and I wanted to go with them for my mom's house as well. Brian from SafeStreets did a fabulous job on the installation. The internet wasn’t installed correctly so he had to come back a second day. He was very professional and he met all our needs. I also love the quality of equipment installed. I love the smartphone features as well. We got a really good price on the system. The cost was very reasonable. I am very impressed with SafeStreets.

The pricing with Safe Streets is actually more than the other providers. I was trying to keep the cost down and got the basic package, but their installer tried to sell me more equipment. I particularly like the key fob thing in case I need someone in an emergency. But the first time I had to use the system, I was by myself and I hesitated. Then the alarm went off because I forgot to hit a button and then they called me. So I wish there was a note card that I could keep in my wallet to make sure I did it right. Other than that, the equipment looks fine and everything is as I need it.

I used a home-grown security company in Louisiana before and when I came here to Georgia, I needed to pick a home security system. I went with Safe Streets USA because I knew I would be using ADT equipment which was best known to me. The cost was comparable to what I had before, but this system has a lot more bells and whistles than the one I had in Louisiana. So, even though the monthly fee was a little bit higher, it wasn't a problem for me because of what I’ve received out of that.
From the sales rep down to the technician that came in, everything has been wonderful. But I was concerned because I set off the alarm accidentally a couple of times and I never received a phone call from anybody to ask what happened. But when I called in, they let me know that was because I had caught the alarm soon enough and they understood that when the alarm rang for just a few seconds, there wasn’t much to worry about, and so that settled the issue.
Everything else has been fine. In fact, I'm even considering getting in touch with them to add a camera and some flood lights at the front end of my house. I was really excited about the Ring, the doorbell with the camera, and it now also has the motion detector flood lights with the camera on. That’s what I’m really interested in and what I’d like to get. Also, the smart phone features are really good and I enjoy them, and I’m glad that I’m able to access my alarm system. My experience with Safe Streets has been great and I really love it. They sent me a written survey that I filled out and I gave them rave reviews.

We finally bought a house and when we moved in, getting a security system seemed like a good idea and it seemed that more houses on here have the signs in the yard for ADT. We had gotten the extra thing in the basement, some motion sensor, a camera, glass breakage, the smoke detector and the one which tells you if it freezes or not. I’d like to have something more on the garage though. The guy that installed the stuff was nice and we liked him. However, we had a problem with a scam. We had gotten stuff from someone who said they were from ADT but were not. I called up Safe Streets USA to see if the system was being monitored because the people had gotten me wondering. Everything seems fine though. We use the smartphone features all the time and it works well. Having it the system feels good. We like it mostly for when we go out to the lake for a week and we can look and see what’s going on via the internet.

I have a home security system as a preventative measure and have had it for, give or take, 2 months now. The quality of the system's feature is good and they're exactly what we expected, so we're satisfied. Safe Streets USA has been doing a good job too. The installation and the process leading up to becoming one of their customers was easy and then there was not a real huge transition that took place. So, it was simple on my end. I would assume if an issue was to arise, then they would address it promptly. So, working with Safe Streets is convenient since the consumer does minimal work and it's more on the provider.

The rep answered all my questions and explained very well. However, the installation took some time. The system's features are nice. The arm stay and arm away features are very useful and I like them. I'm satisfied with the system. It's nice and useful. One time, I pressed the wrong button and caused the alarm to go off. I wanted a home security system and the discount I received from Safe Streets USA made me go with them. I had a brief phone call with their reps and they were all right. The installer was in and out. It took him a few hours to finish the job but he stayed to himself and did what he had to do. He also explained to us how to use the system. My package was a little customized. I got a lot of windows so I got the shatter box. Moreover, I have more than three entrances so I got five door alarms. However, I'm not sure why I have to pay extra to use the mobile function. That should be standard. It's another $10 a month so I don't use it.

The representatives I dealt with were great. They gave me all my options, told me what options I could get later on if I wanted to and answered all questions I wanted. On the installation, I was given all the options and told how things would work or why the technician had to pick somewhere as a spot. It was very easy and straightforward, and the technicians were all great and professional. They got stuff done in a timely manner.
I have a large room with six regular windows two skylights and a sliding door. So they put the one that would go off if anyone breaks those things and they put a tamper alarm as well. The technician explained everything, which was great because my old system didn't have any of that. His explanation included how I could set up with the app if the alarm was not turned off by a certain time.
Having Safe Streets is different and a whole lot better as a whole compared to what I had before. It would be like comparing a cellphone to a rotary phone. At my old house, all I had was a two-door alarm and a control pad. But now, the system would say which door or window is open. I also like the camera thing. If my alarm is set off for some reason, I can check out my phone and see if there is, at least, someone in that room of the house. Before, I would be informed that my alarm went off but if I'm somewhere else, I can't see if it's a faulty alarm or if somebody's in my house. The cost is also on par with the quality of the system.

The tech who did the installation for our home security system was good and the system basically covers everything that I need for my situation right now. I have exterior and interior cameras, as well as the glass break sensor. It sometimes triggers if we slam the door too hard so I know it's sensitive enough to catch something. The platform on the app sometimes lags a bit behind real life but it's naturally gonna do that. And sometimes, it has a bit of trouble linking out but normal tech loads and there is nothing that's not helpful. The only thing that I wish I can do from the app is to set a schedule to something like arm the system at 10:00 PM every night and disarm it at 5:00 AM. I can only do that through the online portal. But other than that, everything's fine so far.

We got SafeStreets three or four months ago for a new home. I was impressed with how quickly they got it set up and going. They got everything together in a couple of hours and the customer service rep was absolutely amazing. He got everything set up and told me how to get my rebate and I had it already. Also, this area was overloaded and the installer helped take up some of the slack. He showed me how to do everything and helped me get everything downloaded on my phone and my computer. I felt very comfortable when he left here.
I'm happy with the features. I had the same features we've always had. So, it works for us. Also, I have the app where we can set our alarm. Our daughters came to visit and we were out and we could turn the alarm system off so they could get in. It was awesome. However, there were things that were promised that weren't put on the plan by the technician. So, we had to go back and get that added later. Also, the monthly cost is a little higher than I think it should be. There were also some costing for items like the camera, which Safe Streets market quite a bit for which I looked up myself and it was portrayed as a deal when it was really not. Nevertheless, the installer was great. He was very helpful and very informative. We fully understood what was being put in and why. We ended up with Safe Streets USA when the home security system provider we were using wouldn't be able to provide us service in the new area that we moved in. The system we got works like it's supposed to and we got an easy-to-use app that is similar to what we had in our previous system. But for what we're paying, we’re not getting as much as we had before. When I first spoke with the sales rep, he outlined the package that we were getting as well as the cost, however he didn’t make it clear that we would get window sensors and that it would be an extra cost. He also advised me that we would get a $100 gift card based on the deposit that we had to pay. But I have yet to receive that and I can’t get anybody to give me a response on that. They said I have to talk to the rep but I couldn’t get the rep on the phone.
But the guy who installed the system was professional. He explained everything to us, what we had and how to use it. We got a camera and one of the doorbell cameras. During the installation, I found out that it was just a ring doorbell which I could’ve purchased myself. They also made it seem as if it was a part of the package but we just got a free 30-day trial. If we wanna continue with being able to do videos of the ring doorbell camera, we had to purchase it separately. He also gave us the quote on the additional window sensors and it was really expensive as compared to what we had before. So there was a lot of things that were additional expenses that weren’t explained in the beginning.

I got basic locks for the doors and windows as well as shock sensors. However, the quality isn't that good. I have back windows and the alarm slipped off the first day because it isn't designed to stick on glass. When I woke up, the alarm went off at 1:00 in the morning. So far, I use the app to make sure my alarm is still on. I also use the one on the key ring to turn on and off my alarm. In addition to that, we have the one-room sensor that goes across the room. We also have the sensors on the three doors downstairs. All in all, the equipment we have is of good quality and since we didn't have to pay for a lot of the stuff up front, it was affordable. I'm in the area and I was familiar with ADT. The SafeStreetsUSA rep was friendly, although he could have explained things a bit more and went through everything a bit more of what he had done, what was done, and how he did it. Then, when the installer switched out one of the boxes, I told him I didn't want holes because there was a box already up there. If he could've used the same holes, it wouldn't have bothered me. But he made new holes, so there are holes showing in my entrance way and I wasn't very happy about that. It wasn't corrected nor was it fixed. It's still the same way and I had to plug it up myself. Also, he didn't put everything up in a way where the equipment won't easily fall back down. To me, they're not up in a nice way.
The way that everything in the system is set up is good, although there are times when we leave away and we're trying to set it and it takes a little time to do it. I also wish I would have added features that we could tell if somebody was at the house or somebody rang the doorbell and we would know by our phones just getting to know what's going on through our telephones more than getting a call. Overall, I can say that I'm on the tip of satisfactory right now.

The agent said I will get discounts at new house. Sorry. I won't used ADT again. I can't even use chime!!! As a loyal customer for the past almost 10 years. Used ADT in 4 different houses. I am ditching ADT. BTW, my monthly bill is $55! SO... be careful. Do NOT purchase extra "equipment" because they will just be junks on the walls!!!

I live with my fiancé here in New jersey and she’s not from here. We decided to get a home security system to make her feel safer and one of the factors that affected our buying decision was the reviews. We also liked the ADT name and they were the first one to contact me. It sounded like a reasonable deal, too, so we went with Safe Streets. The person I talked to was professional and good. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions. I have friends that are in car security and I have an idea how to break-in to get around the system. So, I asked him certain questions like backup battery and cell phone. I also asked if the cops would still be called if somebody had a little black box to shut the cellphone’s signal off. He told me how the system worked and it fit the need that I was looking for.
The installation was really quick which is nice if you didn’t have too much time to have a person come in and install the equipment. The guy that they sent was pretty much able to pinpoint every angle to cover any concerns that I had and he put the motion sensor right in the spot where you can’t get anywhere in the house without that thing seeing you. I’ve purchased additional equipment as well but I cannot connect it because I don’t have an admin code. It's supposed to be technically my system but if I want to add more stuff, I got to have somebody come over. I found a way that I could hack right through it but I didn't want to touch it. So, I just left it alone.

I liked the idea that I didn't have a big down payment at Safe Streets. Everybody there was nice and helpful. I was given a date when the installation guy would come, and though he was kinda late, he was efficient and it went well. Over the phone, we had already discussed what I was gonna buy so he put in what we had ordered on the phone and he explained it all to me. I had a little bit of trouble with the system being a little oversensitive, but I'm over it. My husband passed away so I was living by myself. I'm hearing impaired and I was a little afraid, but now I feel much more secure.

I'm 84 and I got a heart problem. And sometimes, I’m alone during the daytime. My daughter and my grandson, who are my caregivers, are on an alternating basis. SafeStreetsUSA seemed to be the right choice at the right time. It just gives them great security knowing that I’m locked in, and the alarm would go off if someone tried to get in. Their customer service reps were very informative and accommodated us in every way that we needed.
Also, I have the little box in my bedroom, and I thought it was gonna bother me, but I love it. My grandson lives in the same house with me, and so he goes in and out different doors. When he goes out to work in the morning, the little box says the door was open if the system was not on full alarm so I know when he’s leaving my house and when he comes back. It keeps me alert to where he was and it’s always nice to know. I’m pleasantly happy with SafeStreets and the performance of it, including the added security that it gives me when I happen to be alone here. I’m very comfortable and glad I got their system.

We just bought our home, so we were new and figured purchasing a home security system was the best thing to do given the investment that we just made in the home. We were put in contact with SafeStreetsUSA and we got a good deal as part of the moving package when I changed my address with the postal service. Our interaction with their reps was positive. They, however, did a little upsell after we got it. When they came, I didn’t realize the extent that they were gonna do and I ended up having to pay more for some additional stuff. It was a little frustrating, but, overall, they were all helpful. The installation was fine and the installers were also helpful. The guy helped me customize the features when he set it up, so I didn’t change any of the settings or anything after the fact. He helped me get all that going up front. They walked it through with me and pointed out the number of doors and the number of windows that we wanted to protect.
The security equipment has been very helpful. I use the smartphone features and I sometimes check while I’m at work. A lot of times, when there are workers doing work in the house, I can see when they come and go. The system is great. It’s a little overpriced, but it’s worth it given the investment in the home itself. I’m happy with my experience with SafeStreetsUSA.

I also felt like there was a way that we could have that but it felt like the installer wanted to get in and out of my ceiling. Then, we have sliding doors which we more or less got for my infant son because we don’t want him to crawl outside and go to the pool. We were supposed to be able to open them but we can't, not even to have a breeze in since we live near a lake, because it sets the alarm off. Other than that, their customer service rep was helpful when I called them months go. The features on the system are also really good and I like that I can leave my house and know that my animals are safe when I’m not home.

The sales reps were able to answer any question I had and they guided me through most everything. The installer was also very friendly and he explained everything very thoroughly. The features offered in our system are good and easy. That’s what I care about the most and as long as it works. The installers got everything done quick and they showed us how to use it. We were able to customize our system a bit such as how many doors and windows we wanted to do and the smoke alarms. However, I had one door malfunction. It kept falling off and I had to figure out how to fix that. But other than that, there’s been nothing wrong with it. The smartphone features are simple to use. I got the little finger button where I can disable my alarm or set it. I’d be lying if I say the cost of the system is fair. But Safe Streets has been good so far and my wife likes to have it when I’m not there.

My experience with SafeStreets has been very good. I initially looked at do-it-yourself type of systems and at those with monitoring then I decided to go with the one that had the most reputation. When you put up a sign or window decal, it’s important to be recognized. SafeStreets had plenty of options in terms of features and the gentleman who did the installation was very knowledgeable. He explained the options so it was a positive experience. The biggest issue we had was the frequent billing. Sometimes, we were charged twice a month. It took two months but we got that straightened out. As far as the quality of the product, the monitoring and the installation, those have all been very good. We purchased a house in another town, in Albuquerque, which is about two hours from us. We use it on the weekends and our employees use it, so there’s not always somebody there. We wanted to feel secure that no one’s gonna be in there when they were not supposed to be. We used Protect 1 for our business in Grants, so we decided to do ADT, being that they’re sister companies. When I contacted Eddie, the sales rep, he met us at 8 o’clock at night. He came out to the house, to the condo. He checked it out, recommended what we would need and how many cameras. I wanted more cameras than what we got but he said those cameras cover pretty good. He explained everything in detail, so we’re very happy with him. I’ve called him on the weekends when I couldn’t get something working, and he has walked me through stuff. He’s a very helpful gentleman.
The installer was very nice and very quick. He cleaned up after himself and did not leave anything lying around. He was very polite if he needed passwords or something and he was very good. We like the features offered in our system. We are able to access the system on my phone and we are able to get text messages if someone comes in and who disarms it. It’s a very easy system to use and I was able to customize our package to what we needed. I told them I want sensors on all the windows and all the doors. My wife thought that was overkill because our house is a two-story, so who’s gonna climb up? But I said we'll have it that way just in case. The problems that we’ve had have not been with the system itself, but with our internet. Other than that, the system works good and we like it.
The cost was minimal considering all the equipment that we got and the cameras. Despite the monthly charge, Safe Streets is worth it to have that peace of mind that somebody’s looking out for the property. However, my wife is still uncomfortable having Safe Streets in our home. We get notifications right away even if an employee stops by there without letting us know, to get something or use the restroom. Nevertheless, we get notifications, so we know what is going on with the property.

Lately, some people have been walking through our neighborhood and knocking on doors. I had one guy come to say hi and it was really weird. I felt like he was checking the house, so I decided to get an alarm system to protect the family while I'm gone. I Googled alarm systems that were in our area and they had different options. It showed six different options for my zip code and the prices. Some of them were competitive, while I had to buy the equipment for some. And some had free equipment with the contract. I called ADT to get a quote and their price was under $50, which I never expected. I was able to either buy the equipment upfront, which I did, and then the rest I was able to roll into a two or three-year contract, which wasn’t bad. And the equipment is mine, whereas others were three-year contracts and the equipment was still theirs. And if I move, I would be able to move my equipment, so it was really the best deal.
I talked to the sales rep on the phone only one time, but he was straight to the point. The phone call lasted probably 10 minutes before I knew that I wanted to make that decision. He was really good and he wasn’t even pushing the sale, and that's what I liked about it. He told me what their product is and asked what I was looking for price-wise for safety. I told him the front and back door and a fire alarm, and he was able to do that. The installer came to install it and he was the one that showed that I can add a camera. I don't really need it, but I added one by the front door. It covers my mailbox because some of our magazines have been taken. That was a very cheap price to add. The next guy who came out was more of a sales guy/installer, and it was easy. I said no to some things because I didn’t wanna make my bill $100 because I didn’t even know if I would ever use it.
Everything has been working good. My wi-fi covers the signal well and the installer installed the system professionally. There are no wires at all. The equipment's small, so I don't even notice that I have anything in the house. The installer thoroughly showed me how to operate and go through all the steps if I wanted to turn the channel down, if it's too loud or it's not loud enough, and the quick lead 30-seconds. I was able to tell my wife how to do it when she got home and we've been satisfied.

It's supposed to be online and I'm supposed to be able to log in to set the alarm but it takes 20 minutes after I leave the house to set the alarm because it doesn’t connect. It doesn’t matter where I'm at and what my connection speed is, it never connects. There are so many bugs in it, it's not even funny. Also, they put in a wireless keypad and it doesn’t work. It's always in sleep mode. After I spend five minutes getting it open and shut the alarm off, it doesn’t shut the alarm off. It sets the alarm off yet nobody calls.
Their reps told me that it's not their issue because they can't control the speed at which I’m connecting and that sometimes there are just connections and bad areas but nobody told me this when they were putting the system in. I live in a big city with a population of about 160,000. I have no issues making phone calls, getting phone calls, doing anything else on the internet except for the security system.
When they installed the existing system, I had a different zone so if the living room window was open, it said on my security system, "Living room window." If I was in the masters, it said, "Master bedroom window, master bathroom window." They got the whole thing set up as one zone. So everything just says, "Front door. Front door." I had to go through the whole house to find out what window or door was open. The way the installer had it setup was horrible. Then he tried to tell me that it was how the old system worked. But it was not. I lived with it for 15 years so I know it wasn’t like that. I’m like throwing money away every month with SafeStreetsUSA. I tripped the alarm a couple of times but I've only ever once got a phone call. I have no trust behind this company to contact me or the police if there really is an emergency. One of the techs was able to use some of the existing equipment that was already in the house, and then he updated some of the stuff. They were very nice and professional. Then they told me I could upgrade the features I have later if I want. So far, we've been very happy with the cost of the system. It's very easy to use and I feel more secure. SafeStreetsUSA is a good company.

Everybody in my condo home had a home security system and SafeStreetsUSA is my first one ever on my first property ever. I chose them for the price and my interaction with the sales rep was awesome. The gentleman that came to our condo was very pleasant to work with and he was very informative. He came at the time that I was told he would come, did the installation, and had called upon when he needed to explain something. The installation took him only about an hour and the moment he was completed, he walked us through everything. And then he was on his merry way.
I highly recommend SafeStreetsUSA. The installation process was quick and easy, the monthly expense is affordable and fair, and the customer service is very attentive and supportive. The features offered in my system are great but I wish that the cellphone application wasn’t an additional cost. I travel a lot, so my girlfriend’s very appreciative to have that in the home. SafeStreetsUSA definitely makes us feel a lot safer and thankfully, nobody has tried to break in.

I purchased a home security system to lower my monthly rate on my homeowner's insurance. Safe Streets was the first one that contacted me and their deal was pretty good that I couldn't pass it up. It was free equipment and all I had to pay for was the installation. They explained everything and they didn't try to hide anything. It was pretty straightforward. Everything was installed, and they didn’t mangle up my house and make a mess. I like the system's features. It’s pretty nice that I'm able to do the ADT Pulse through the phone and check whenever somebody has come in and whenever somebody’s at my front door. Safe Streets is really easy to work with and I had a great experience.

I looked into purchasing a security system for our home partly due to the insurance benefit and partly for security when I’m not there. Safe Streets USA is a brand that I'm familiar with, so I went with them. My interactions with the customer service rep were straightforward. He was good, explained everything very well, and got the installation done very efficiently. The installation was very quick and it was all done in one afternoon. The features that are offered in our system are sufficient for the tasks that they're supposed to do. The security equipment is unobtrusive and its quality looks good. I’ve used the smartphone features for my laptop and these are impressive. Safe Streets' home security system is good, solid, and sound. It seems to perform very well and I would recommend it to others.

My experience has been good with them. The house was wired with ADT equipment and the installation team came in and tweaked it. They put in some interior motion sensors. The installation team was fine. I have no criticisms at all. I was happy with them. Also, the features of the system were all fine. We're using it. We've only had one alarm because the dogs went up the steps and ADT detected something in the house. The police were supposed to come but didn't show up. We were at Dover and nobody was in the house but the dog. Nevertheless, we're satisfied with the price. It was reasonable or we wouldn't have done it.
One thing is, I just came from out of the country and I'm not used to this. It's a little annoying to have to lock everytime you leave and unlock coming back. If I had thought a little more about it, I might not have bought it in a community that had as many incidents or reports with the police department, but neither here nor there and that's not up to ADT. We also get so many calls following up things that we do or haven't done. They are more annoying than anything else.

The home that we bought was already fitted for a security system. One of the families before had it, so we already had a lot of the equipment. We also wanted one of the Nest thermostats, which was the cherry on top. We had a very good interaction with Safe Streets USA's reps. They were very thorough and outlined all the possible equipment that we needed as well as how much it was going to cost. I didn’t feel like they surprised us with any added fees. Moreover, the cost was fair and the equipment was easy to use.
The installation was smooth, but it took three hours, which was a little longer than expected. The tech, as well as the features, were very good. We have a few windows and doors that have the sensors. We also have the glass sensors if the glass breaks and a camera in our back alley. We're happy with how the system works. There are general opioid problem and more drug use in my area, and going with Safe Streets was something I meant to do and finally got around doing. When he set it up, I also had a couple of other family members here so that they would know how to gain access to the house. The installation went fine, too. The technician was friendly but not overly friendly. He went about his business and did his job.
However, I have a complaint about my system. It is so loud when I turn it on and it is annoying. When I put in my pin, it screams at me right away. I can't get away from it because the minute I put the last number in, it's screaming at me loudly then a minute later, it does it again. But that has to do with the particular system and I don't know if they're all like that. I have their booklet and there might even be some instructions about it but I didn’t get that far. Otherwise, it's fine. In terms of the cost in relation to the quality of service, it's worth it when I weigh everything. I'm a senior citizen on a budget and I don’t like the idea of something going on month after month, but it is something that has made me feel a little better and my children feel better about me.

The guy was there for about half a day and everything went well.
I added some features to the original package as well. I put in a glass break detector. I've put in more window units and more sensors than what comes with the original package. They could have a cost of a very small amount but it ends up being like 10 times than when you're really putting a system that actually works. Nevertheless, I was happy with the experience. I've been used to living in Europe. It's a little bit safer there so, getting a home security system from Safe Streets USA was our logical response moving to the States. I signed up online to get a phone call which I received a few days later. The guys explained what was possible and then a few days after that, we had a technician come out and explained what the options were, walked us through it, gave us pros and cons of what to choose and what it was going to cost. So, we had a good idea of what we were spending and what we were getting for our money and how it was going to work. Once he finished explaining it, he installed the system. The whole thing took 90 minutes and it was pretty quick.
We were able to customize our package based on the layout of the house and the fact that we are generally home. If we were renting our house, we would've done something different. We are happy about the features that are in the system. For the area we're in, the features are efficient. Before I moved to Europe, I had ADT growing up as a kid and the technology has evolved nicely from what it used to be and there is a big difference in comparing the services then and now. We didn't have things like the grass break before, which is a cool technology. We tested it, we dropped the glass and we saw the glass break feature went into action so, we know it works. We also like that there's a key fob and all those stuff so, it's easy to use.
On the other hand, we found a lot of things interesting, but not necessary, like the video camera type of stuff. We also have a dog so, we didn't want to do the motion sensor because that would be a lot of false positive. The smartphone features are pretty cool, too, which I would look into if I were to move to a different part of the country with a different sort of security requirements. Other than that, the overall performance of the security system has been excellent and the cost is good as well. Safe Streets is good.

In October of 2017 I contacted what I thought was ADT home security. The salesperson "James" proceeded to sell me on a home security system. He began to explain to me that there was a three year contract which I was hesitant about seeing as I only wanted to have a security system installed because I was going to sell my home and I knew it would be a good selling point.
So as I continued to ask the salesman about ways out of the contract he assured me that if I sold the property and the new owner signed a new agreement with ADT that they would void the remainder of my contract. Now come to find out the company that sold me the system is not ADT. It is just a Dealer of ADT systems. Now, I called them before I finalized my house sale and informed that I will be canceling my account and the new owner will be taking over the equipment and signing a contract with ADT. They continued to bill me so when I called to straighten it out the operator I spoke to from ADT cancellation department told me that they will forgive my contract agreement and as of today will stop billing me.
Now upon conversation with this "Safe Streets USA" they claim the only way out of my contract is to pay them the remaining balance or I can BUY a new system from them and continue service at my new address. The new owner did indeed sign a contract with ADT SafeStreetsUSA claims because the new contract was signed with ADT directly that I still have to pay off the last 2 years of my contract. Did some research and there are numerous complaints about the same problem not to mention the horrible attitude from the service reps.
This type of deal should not be allowed. They lie to you and fail to explain all the hidden little details that if you knew would keep you from purchasing their service. They are scam artists and rip offs. Nobody should use this company for any reasons. They want to charge people 44.99 a month for absolutely nothing because if you leave your "equipment" behind like they assure you that you can they will screw you. People today are being taken advantage of on a daily basis and it should not happen. There needs to be legal actions taken against this company and the many others like it...

We signed up with SafeStreetsUSA for our new home after seeing an ad on our local TV daytime talk show. They were offering a $100 gift card for signing up. On June 3rd their technician, Kyle who is a very professional great guy, showed up to do the installation. At the end of the installation he assisted me in filling out the card for the rebate. Our closing was moved to June 12th and so I mailed the card that day.
I have received a number of calls from ADT offering me service, including one today. That call triggered that I had not received the Visa gift card yet. When I called their 866-744-7635 number it was a fax number. So I found their 855-807-1237 number and explained the situation to the individual who said he'd transfer me, I was transferred to ADT customer service. They explained that they had nothing to do with the rebate and transferred me back to Safe Streets where I spoke with Wayne, who was very argumentative and rude stating that they didn't receive the card until August. I explained when I mailed it and he stated that it didn't matter.
When I asked to speak to his supervisor he became extremely confrontational demanding to know why I wanted the supervisor and after requesting several times and being denied I hung up and called back again. This time I spoke with a female who I explained the situation to and she stated that even if I mailed it in on June 12th it was 30 days after the installation. I said it was only 9 days and then again asked to speak to the supervisor. I explained that Wayne was very rude and she said that he worked for ADT and not Safe Streets and I again asked to talk to the manager. She stated that the manager who handles the rebates was at lunch and she would email them.
I am happy with the security system, but have received at least a half a dozen calls from ADT corporate offering to install a security system and when I state I have one from them in, they can't find my account by my address or phone number. Which makes me wonder, if I ever need emergency services are they going to come?

I've got that comfort of knowing that we have a home security system, although we're neither in the safest nor the worst neighborhood. We had a lot of recommendations for security companies but when I researched them, some were smaller companies that haven't been around nearly as long as Safe Streets USA and Safe Streets was a trusted name. The person who signed me up and set up the appointment for someone to come out was extremely helpful. The technician that installed the system was also very helpful when answering questions and he was very polite and extremely pleasant.
The features offered in our system are nice and I like them, and I considered including the camera too. The quality of the security equipment is okay and the cost of the system is awesome for what it is. One time, my husband accidentally pressed the emergency button which was in his pants and set off the alarm, and the Safe Streets guys called me within 30 seconds, wanting to know if everything was okay. I'm glad to have Safe Streets USA and I appreciate them, and I would refer people to them.

Safe Streets seemed the easiest to get in touch with. I reached out to other companies and I never received any response. With Safe Streets, I applied online and within two minutes, the rep called me back and got the contact set up. I was notified by a call several times prior to installation that my installation was scheduled. Then I received a reminder from the actual installation team. He showed up on time and installed whatever he was supposed to. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and recommended some additional things that I didn’t want to install, but he was not very pushy, which I appreciated. I liked working with him.
When I stay home for the night or when I leave the house, I set the system up. However, it is not something that I use on a day-to-day basis. It is more of a precautionary measure. Having the system makes me feel a bit better and safer. I've had it for three months and it's all functioning so far. Their cost was okay and I'd recommend trying them out. The professionals working there were very knowledgeable and could provide enough information for one to make an informed choice. Moreover, after the system was installed, I still had time to essentially revert everything and that was an important piece of it.

When I sold my home in Pasadena and I moved, I was renting for several years, but I've always had a security system in each of the five homes that I’ve had as it gives me that extra bit of security. The Safe Streets USA system works well and I like that it is updated, and I got Ring installed on the doorbell, which gives another level of security. The installation guy came in and did his thing, and he asked me where he was going to put the equipment. I told him about the downstairs and what I wanted to do, and he was very detailed and caring. He told me what I should do and what he wanted to do, and he told me where he was going to put it in. He was a lovely young man who took care of business.
I love the accessibility of the system, and the functionality is good. I can disarm it before I get into the house if I have a lot of stuff on my hand, and it works perfectly when I set it on at night. My brother always got the alarm messed up, and if he came here from Houston, I could disarm it because he has the key to come in, so that’s very valuable. And he could get into the house and I can lock him in, so that feature is great. I also like that feature wherein I could take a peek and see what's happening in my system if I go into my phone and use the app. If I open the window and forget about it, the app is going to tell me where the open areas are before I secure that alarm, so it's not going to let me leave that system unless I look at those open areas.
So far, I've tried to make the system as simple as possible where it helps me to prevent the police being called that there's an emergency. Safe Streets’ system allows me to correct what I just did before it sends out a signal that something is wrong and before everybody starts arriving at the house. I like that default because maybe I put the wrong code in or I put in one of the numbers that I wasn’t supposed to hit because they're so close together. I make sure I do my part in securing my home, and when I put on that alarm at night and the windows are closed and the door is locked, I feel that I'm safe. The system also has a panic button that I can push from upstairs, so I try to keep that button in my room. If anything happens, I will get enough warning.
My number one objective is security, and I think the cost of the system is good. However, I had a question about the fee, and I called AT&T the other day and they said that I had to call Ring directly. They sell together and they do a lot of the installs, but Ring is a separate company. I don’t know if Ring comes with the AC system, and I thought it was the same system. I'm a little confused about how that was done, but overall, our experience with Safe Streets USA has been excellent and everybody has been wonderful.

I'm currently living in my first home and my friends who have owned properties have utilized home security systems. I then did some research and from what I understood, most of them are self-setup. You self-monitor and if there's anything, you report it. I didn’t want something like that. I wanted something where they can monitor and if I’m not there, they can send someone over, just like if a family member is there and someone is in distress. ADT has the history and reputation and from what I noticed online, they seem to be a better type of security system than the others. There were a couple of websites where they had the best rating in terms of reliability, getting in contact with an individual, set-up, and pricing.
It only took a couple of calls to ADT to set up the appointments. Their reps were very professional, open and understanding. They were also receptive to me changing the dates. I spoke with the rep at ADT and then transferred me to someone with Safe Streets to set up the appointment. They were able to answer any question I had, such as what I'm going to need to set the systems up, if I need to purchase additional devices, and how much it was going to cost. They also told me which device is better in terms of the glass break, monitors, and sensors and we opted to get those. They knew the products and knew what to recommend based on what I needed. Two days after I placed my first call, someone already came out to our house.
The installation went well. The installer came on time and was able to set everything up within two hours. He told us it may have taken longer, but I guess he knew what he was doing. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He knew the devices and based on his recommendations, I was able to set up what I need and not pay for anything additional. For instance, we have a couple of rooms and a lot of big windows and I asked him, "I know that connectors, if you open the window, it’ll go off, but what if someone breaks the window and comes inside?" He told me that if I get the glass breaks, it won't make sense because it’s just for the glass. But if I get the sensor itself, it will cover the whole room and that if someone were to break the glass to get in, it’ll provide the same coverage.
From experience, the contractor will come out and they will try to upsell. There was no pressure from him in upselling and trying to get me to purchase products which is a big plus because I was expecting him to say, "Okay, by the way, it’s going to cost an extra lot." All of the prices were laid out for me. When I told him what I wanted, he did an estimate in the quote before he actually started the work. He gave me options on what I can do and what I can’t do if I want to reduce the price. If I want to change anything in the configuration, it’s going to be communicated to ADT and they would adjust the price on that as well. He wasn’t trying to sell me extra stuff that I did not need which is usually the case when contractors come out. He also walked me through the system, such as how to update it. He mentioned that if I need to adjust anything, I could just give him a call and he’ll come right back out the next day or if they have time the same day.
I got door sensors, the ones which connect with the magnets when you open the door. I got the same thing for the windows. I also got a motion sensor in a couple of rooms. I was supposed to get a door lock but we did not install that because they’re changing out the door to electronic one which I can open and close remotely. I didn't opt to get the cameras because based on how they’re set up with ADT, I didn't think it was going to give me the coverage and the type of security and monitoring that I need. The installer was able to recommend a local provider who is also very professional and cost-effective. I know in the near future I have to add some other items. So, I’m probably going to be calling them in a week or two.
The quality of the equipment has been good. The one installed on the door, however, broke apart. The plastic covering just fell off. They told me that once they're done with the windows, they're going to come back in and fix that. The smartphone features of their system, however, can be improved. When I first got the system, there were times when one of the alarms would go off. Then, sometimes, you can't remotely arm it which is a little annoying because you always have to be there to arm it. I haven’t used the lock and unlock but I hope it's on the app so I can have the system fully functional, like turn the lights on and off, since my goal is to automate my premises. I also wish they'd have push notifications since I get emails all the time. The whole system cost me $2,000. While the equipment is sturdy and serves their purpose, they could have been a little cheaper. $90 for a sensor is a lot.
Since having the system, I haven't had a lot of sleepless nights like before. I haven't had to worry if anyone is going in and touching anything as I did before. I don’t have to worry when my kids, or anyone, are at home. I know that they’re going to be safe provided all the equipment works as expected. Even if someone’s there who will work on the house, you can track and monitor them, knowing when they come and when they go. I have contractors working at my house right now and when they come, they have to enter the code so I know that they’re there doing work and when they leave, I have to remotely arm the premises. I'm very pleased with the experience overall. I'll tell others to always go with history and reputation over cheapness, and that ADT actually decides to work with you in customizing the security system.

The guy I spoke to on the phone was wonderful and the young man who came to do the installation was astounding. Mostly, I'm happy with the features offered in the system.
But I'm not so thrilled with the Pulse feature. The objective for my having it was that I could use it to disarm the alarm when I'm in the car and pulling into the driveway. But since it doesn't work, I have to get out of the car and go into the house to disarm the alarm, and this just adds to the chaos when I have bags, laundry, or some other things in my hands, and I've sent them a note about that. The system is quite good, though. I'm happy with the pad that I have, which works well enough. We moved from Arkansas down here and when I got online to the electric bill, it took me over to ADT/Safe Streets. I availed of the security system to put off my insurance. Also, most of the people in this area have some sort of security system and I hate to say that it's a shame we live in a world that you have to do that. If I'm far away, it gives my wife and I some peace of mind that if somebody comes in the house, somebody's going to be notified even if we have somebody that's watching our house for us. We like the little clicker where we can arm and disarm it, and keep heads convenient in the house. It is an alarm system and we have got a motion detector in our living room and the three doors coming into the house - the front door, the patio door, and the door in front of the garage are all monitored. I also like the fire and police deal where we can hit it and the emergency code.
All our interactions with them have been over the internet, except for the guy who came out and put it in. And it was pretty seamless. The only issue I had, and it wasn't a big issue, was whenever he put it in he did not have me a sign for my front yard. He left me some stickers but did not have a sign. And he said he'd order me one and get back to me in a week or so. Well, that never happened. So, I got online and was going to see what I needed to do, and then found out there's a good place on the website to go to and you could order one. And in about five days, they shipped me one in the mail. Also, I was promised a $99 Visa card for signing up. I have sent the paperwork and stuff, and it has not shown up yet.

My husband wanted to have video cameras outside the front of the house and that was my whole reason for wanting ADT for our service. The rep goes, "I can give you guys the Ring where they're just to be mounted on the wall. You just have to download an app." We didn't realize that it was a totally separate service. I go, "I don't understand why we have to download an app." He goes, "Well, that's how you'll be able to see your video." "Well, okay. But I have ADT." But nobody sat down and explained anything to us. We paid $299 per Ring and I'm figuring that we'd have monitoring so, if we get a time, we can click on it and see if anybody's there. But they've already stepped away and we can't playback.
My husband's like, "Why do we even have these things? We should just get rid of them." And I'm like, "Well, how are you getting rid of them? We just paid $299 each." We can't see the video for Ring unless we pay $12.99 a month for storage and we ended up having to pay for two Rings. We just figured this out with them the last couple of weeks. It wasn't explained that we'd be going through two separate entities. Other than that, I'm in customer service and the SafeStreets rep was very nice and he did a good job.
I talked to ADT because I was confused. I said to ADT, "I don't understand. You guys sent us an authorized ADT rep who obviously was with SafeStreets. You sent them to our home that you approved." I've come to find out after all this has happened, he's a rep for multiple things. His status was very misleading. He's Safe Streets but he offers ADT. Now, I found that he does Ring so, it's very misleading. I was from Pierce Country. I had ADT before so, when I called the ADT, it had their number. I'm expecting to have an ADT representative that's going to come out and install an ADT-approved product. I'm not looking for any other service than ADT. Otherwise, I would have gone through a totally different alarm system vendor.
On the other hand, the installer was very nice and he took care of it. My husband was there and I was there. He took care of what we needed and then he had gone his way. He didn't leave us boxes for any of the products that we bought so, he didn't leave us the box for the Ring. All he left us was the little charging cables and the little screwdrivers so that's why I'm thinking, "Oh, this is all ADT." However, I would still tell friends to use SafeStreets and go to somebody else."

He was very informative on what he was doing, why he was doing it and what the end result was going to be. We had added one more on the window breakage which I thought was included but it wasn't. However, I was okay with that. The system is working and I'm still learning it. Since having Safe Streets, I feel better about being able to take my 12-year old granddaughter to the house. I have recommended it to friends.

Safe Streets USA is a well-known company and I trust them. The reps I dealt with have been extremely helpful. During installation it took an hour to get everything installed and out the door. The installers explained everything from the littlest annoyances to the biggest things to know about the system including how to work it and who to contact if I needed the help. My favorite feature is the chime and the noise of the system. And in terms of the cost in relation to its quality, it is 100% fair.

Your employee ran my credit without my knowledge and consent and kept pushing us to order. When we said we were not ready --- I now have a hard inquiry on my credit that I have requested to be removed last month. As of today's date, it still has not been removed. Very dissatisfied with your company for doing this to me.

Jason ** the technician was very knowledgeable and helpful on our setup and installation. He was extremely professional and showed a sense of passion about his profession. Not only was he on time, he actually showed up during a blizzard when the traffic was horrendous. I have contacted him several of times for some questions that we had about our system. He promptly returned our phone calls without hesitation. Jason performed his task thoroughly and neatly. We were extremely pleased with Jason and because of his representation of ADT we highly recommend you. Thank you very much.
