We’ve known about SecureYourHome for a number of years, and we checked into it a couple of years ago and it just wasn’t the time. Then we contacted them again, they sent somebody out and we went ahead and did it. The specialist was very professional during my sales and scheduling process.

My mother's new security system has been fine. But she keeps setting it off the back door because she's old and she forgets. But I wish they wouldn't have put that wherein when we open the door, the alarm goes off.

I've had good interactions with SecureYourHome and Gaylord. I'm not using it yet since I got the system for when I was going to be leaving and gone for longer periods of time. I would recommend them to a friend.

We took the most basic package without any additional wireless, thermostat, etc. My only comment is that there were a lot more cost involved than were made apparent during the initial phone call. We were surprised by that. But that aside, since installing the system, we feel safer especially at night when we're home.

Gaylord installed the security system on my previous house so I chose them for our current one. The sales and scheduling process went well although I was disappointed with the sales guy I talked to because I was quite clear that I had pre-wired house. But when the tech came out, he had no information that that was the case and that's what I wanted. But that wasn't their fault. We had the installation team come back out to finish it and they did a good job. I still got to get the app set up on my wife's phone, and we'll start using it then. Overall, my experience with Gaylord has been good so I would recommend them to people.

I know a number of people that have ADT and it seemed like it was the logical thing to try. It's all good to get the security. I called SecureYourHome for sales and scheduling and it was pretty good. But in that call, I ended up with more expenses of top of what I thought I was going to have and it's a little bit of a surprise. Maybe I didn't ask the right questions.

The salespeople from SecureYourHome were always friendly. My ADT system's installation went well and it seems to be working okay, although we haven't done anything with it yet, other than turn it on.

The salesperson was very helpful but it would have been nice to know that it was gonna be a contract. We weren't told about it until we were actually signing up so that kind of surprised us. But other than that we haven't had any issues. Everything’s been going pretty smooth. During the installation they showed us how to use everything. We got the little keypads, too, and those have been helpful. We really like that.

It was a good experience. SecureYourHome specialists were very helpful, and so were the installers from Gaylord. I was clueless about the ADT system so they went over the directions with me and made sure that I understood it. My husband travels out of state from time to time so it makes me feel better knowing that no matter what, I'm secured and taken care of. I'm happy with how it's gone.

Nothing's working with our ADT system. The keypad is not labelled with anything, so I have no idea what the keys are for. It also doesn’t work, but nobody from ADT has called me to monitor it. When I try to call somebody at night, I'd have to go through a menu... but I don't want a menu. Before, with my previous alarm company, I can call a number and tell them that I had an intruder come in, but now, if there's a guy at my front door with a gun, I press 1 to call customer service? I don't think so! I couldn’t get a hold of anybody! And even if I dial an 800 number, there’s nobody to talk to. I'm paying for something that's not working, for which I wasn't monitored with. I have tried to call, but customer service is only open until 5 pm. I’m not happy with it at all.

Scheduling online with SecureYourHome was fine but their technician showed up 4 hours late.

Everything was fine with my experience with Gaylord. I have to call them though because I had to change the debit card that I gave them when they were setting it in with another one so I can pay the bills.

Using Gaylord Security is easy and self-explanatory. We like the security and we feel very comfortable.

Installation was great. Their guys were helpful, laid out different options, and took care of what we needed. We were not sure if the sound part of the alarm wasn’t working properly so we needed to call them, and the interactions we have had with them have been great.

I was having trouble with the security system I had and was considering making a change. Then the contractors working at my house said that they have ADT and coincidentally I have also been getting emails about it so I gave them I call. The sales experience was wonderful and everything has been very positive. The guy who installed was very knowledgeable. He had a little problem when he had to communicate to the office to get things done right because we don't get cell service up here. But the installation was completed. Fortunately I haven't had any emergencies or break-ins so hopefully that won't happen. I feel very secure and happy with my system. I've already recommended them to my friends.

Everything is great - the sales and scheduling process, installation, and the system.

During the sales and scheduling process, I felt I was misled by the SecureYourHome specialist. He asked me how many doors and windows I had in my house, which led me to believe that I was gonna get door and window sensors. When the installation guy from Gaylord came out to install the system, he was great but I had to pay extra for those things and I was never told that.

The installation of my SecureYourHome security system was fine but they spent more time on it than the training and the training sucked. They were in a hurry and didn't give me a lot of explanation so we don't know the system that well. They tried to teach everything in about 6 minutes and I had to call help center the other day. They should come back to explain the system more to me because it's a useless system for us right now. We're not using it at all.

The new security system has been good to me so far. It works pretty good.

We bought a house and SecureYourHome signed us up for a free installation which went great. Their specialist was very informative. I’d recommend them.

We've never been able to set our home security system because one of the doors isn't connecting. It seemed to be working after installation but then the first time we tried it, it didn't work. We have been busy and haven't followed up with somebody from SecureYourHome so I don't really blame them because they probably don't even know that we're having a problem with it.

Our new security system is working well. We're just taking the time to get used to it. The only question I have is how do I pay for it because I don't recall getting a bill and I need to get it up online so I can forget about it. The SecureYourHome guy did a great job in installing. It was very neatly done, and everything works. I would recommend it highly if somebody wanted a system.

The monitoring system has made me feel a little more safer. We've had a couple of break-ins in the neighborhood but I wasn't worried since I got the system installed. The people who worked with us during the sales, scheduling, and installation were all very nice.

My experience with Gaylord Security has been good.

I had SecureYourHome previously when my mom had the services from them at a rental property that I was renting from her a couple of years ago. I always had never had any complaints or had any issues with them, so I felt the system was pretty easy to operate. I also thought that would have been a good way for us to go so we signed up again. There were no problems, no issues with the installation and the guy was very friendly and nice and explained everything. I ended up getting more protection. Now I feel more confident, having fewer worries. I'm a single mom with two kids so there's definitely no real worries or issues that I have. I feel more secure, especially locking, click or locking, disarm it or push the panic if for some reason somebody approached me at the car. Being able to do all that helps out a lot.

I called my electric company to turn on my new service and then they advised me of the program, and if I wanted to look into it. When the specialist arrived he showed me how to operate it, as well as the security features and then handed me the contract. However, he didn't explain to me that they were going to take the money out of my account automatically. It was disgruntling because I was on a fixed income, so my money comes at a certain time. But when I called the company and found out the date it would be pulled out, I would have to adjust my stuff in order to be able to pay the bill appropriately. I am happy with their services, but a little disheartening because it's unplanned. SecureYourHome need to have that information right up front.

The SecureYourHome specialist was very cooperative and gave me a lot of information. He did it right and made sure everything was working fine. However, the process took a little longer than necessary and I had to clean up the boxes after they left. Other than that, everything was good.

The guy who installed the security system was nice, he taught us how to use it. However I'm not happy with my security system right now. It stopped working and it has not worked for this whole month. I don't know if that's because of the front door expanding or contracting, but it won't let us set an alarm. I'm not blaming it on SecureYourHome, but it's not my fault as well. However, I don't want to be charged a service fee for them to come out and fix it.

I wanted to use my existing security system but they would not do it so I looked for somebody that would. ADT said they would and when they came out, it was still the same story. If I wanted them to wire things up, it was going to cost me some $3000 so I ended up just accepting it. The technician was good but I was not happy with the pricing. If I stayed with the original company, it would've been a bit cheaper for what I perceived as even better hardware than what SecureYourHome and Gaylord Security were providing. Their hardware is an old technology.

The specialist during the sales and scheduling process was very good, helpful and friendly. The installer was professional, and he explained everything. We have had this feeling of security since we had our ADT system.

SecureYourHome is one of the benefits in our work wherein we get a discount. I recommend them, though I have an issue with one of the sensors falling off every time I close the door, and I have to push it up.

We're real pleased with SecureYourHome. It works good and we haven't had any problems with it. Their people respond quickly. Their technician was good and professional. Having the security system gives me peace of mind because I set my alarm and hopefully if somebody tries to break in or something happens, somebody will respond quick enough to take my business before it gets too far. The installer was always within our phone call. He even offered stuff I didn’t even know about and take care of every questions and every need that we needed. One of the best installations I've ever had. Topnotch!

They failed to tell me that I had to have an internet system put in to have cameras. My understanding was that it was all Wi-Fi and that it was through my cell phone. They never mentioned that I needed to have the internet or I would have had that in place so that I could've had cameras. And they couldn't put in certain things because they'd forgotten things and didn't have the right equipment. So it was not a real good experience. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

I feel more comfortable at night since the installation of my security system. I have a heads up if someone does get in. The SecureYourHome specialist was really nice during the sales and scheduling process, and the installation was pretty good. We only had one little thing but it wasn't terrible. One of the sensors fell off, but they came out and fixed it quickly.

I feel a little bit more secure when I'm out with the ADT monitored security system installed. Gaylord Security did the installation which was done good.

The installation of Gaylord Security went fine but I'm not happy with the product. I put the original alarm system and it had no problems at all. Then when Gaylord came, they replaced everything that I had and the motion detectors was one of the things that I had a problem with. They've had to replace it twice and it still gives a false alarm which doesn't make sense. I don't understand why it's still doing that but I had to shut the motion detectors off in order to keep my dog inside and they haven't worked.

We're happy with the service. Having them come and trade our service to our new location was easy. It was a whole day affair almost, as they had to go to my old house, take out some equipment and bring it up here, but everything was on time and scheduled and they got everything done in the same day.

The previous owners of our house had ADT installed so we called them and Gaylord came. They had to put a new box because the old one was too old. The installer took care of it, told us how long it would take with them and did what he said he would do. The process was good, easy and efficient. We didn't have WiFi so he immediately set up another appointment to come back and fix that. I was happy but there was just one issue. I'm now nesting with all this old equipment and I don't know what to do with them. They didn't clear the old ones because they said that they're not allowed to. So I'm going to follow up with them and figure out what that all means.

It was great experience with SecureYourHome. Scheduling was done in about 30 minutes. They ended up having Gaylord Security for me. Having the security system is more for the kids. It's better because at night, I can hear if somebody comes in the door. We don't live in a very bad neighborhood but I like to have it just in case.

One of my daughters has ADT and that's where I heard of Secure Your Home and Gaylord Security. Their installation guy was very thorough and explained everything to me very well. He was also in and out right on time. Now I'm no longer concerned when I leave home or being here by myself.

It's less than three months since I had my security system operational. The cell service died then the person came to reset it and it seems to be working so far. The experience was kind of up and down from the beginning to the end of the process but overall I am satisfied with Secure Your Home.

The reps I spoke with did an excellent job. The installers came in on time, got the system running and explained everything to us. We're very happy and we definitely feel safer and more secure. We have kids and they also know how to use it. It's a lot less worry when they walk home after school and there's nobody here.

The panel for the alarm system installed is huge and is on a wall. The technician didn't even think about it if it was in direct sight of the window from my front door or not. If I happen to leave my blinds open for any reason, you can see exactly what the alarm is set to, so it is not a great location. Also, a unit with a cover wasn't even offered. However, the one at my daughter's has a cover.

I had a break in about two years ago then it was very, very hard for me to sleep at night. SecureYourHome offered a special and I couldn't resist it so I took advantage of it. It was the security alarm with the door and the little remote control that I'm able to use at night in my bedroom. I turn it on and got the motion detector in the kitchen area, which is my main concern. On the first night they installed our device - absolute fantastic. They explained everything to the smaller details. I love it. My husband and I had both been very, very comfortable and secure. We don't worry about anything. Since having this installed, I sleep like a baby at night. I haven't slept this well in years. It's been amazing.

I didn't have any problems with SecureYourHome's specialist during sales and scheduling - same with Gaylord's installation. The only thing is they didn't have the tools to hook up the keypad on to the wall. The technician said he was gonna come back on Thursday and he didn't, so it's still sitting there. But they had left me a message to call back and I just haven't had a chance.

SecureYourHome works good. There was a time when my husband wants to go outside and suddenly it makes a beeping sound. But it's okay because I unlock the security. So I'm satisfied with my experience.

The installation of my monitors went well. Four weeks ago, the cellular modem broke down so I didn't have any alarm for 5 days. There was no reason for me to have an alarm if that wasn't working, so I called them up and they came over within 24 hours. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that they said that they would install the alarm for $100 but they only gave me one control. But two days later after installing it, they eventually gave me two alarm controls. Still, I felt safer since we had the system.

I've got a problem with my alarm system that SecureYourHome just installed. I don't know if it's the wireless problem. I can't alarm it from the main keypad. I have to alarm it from the secondary keypad at the other door. It has two keypads and we rebooted the main keypad, and it's still doing the same thing now. It worked for a couple of times but I have to get back with them to see what's wrong with it. They have to come and fix that. I expected an exterior horn like I have on my home, and I did not get that. I thought it would come with it. The second thing was when they placed the order, they did not tell me that I needed to have a 110 plug-in underneath where they were gonna put the keypads. After they came, I had to get an electrician to go and install two of them, one for each pad. It's just a simple mistake.

The guy that set up my alarm for the front door said it was a little bit too close to the door. Eventually it got knocked off and I have to place it back up there. I couldn't get it to stay out there and ADT sent somebody out to fix it for me. So they've been great so far.

SecureYourHome was a little deceiving with the actual startup fee. It wasn't disclosed til we got out there. Other than that, the installation was fine. We know how to work it and everything's okay. The guy that came out and did the installation was a good guy and did his job. They gave us a $29 or $39 a month cheap rate but they didn't tell us about the start up fee. They should be upfront about the cost.

We did the alarm system, motion detectors, and the glass breakage thing. Then we did the thing where you get it all on your cell phone and set it. Since installing our monitor system, we're making sure we set the alarm before we leave the house and getting my husband used to that. It's really good.

But during the installation the guy who came out installed something we told him we didn’t want. Also, my sister said they took an extra $300 out of her account. We didn't order anything extra so we don't understand what's going on.

When I needed help to program my keypad to notify me when a door opened customer service walked me through it. When I needed to change my alarm code customer service helped me. The only thing that upset me was when I needed additional sensor on my windows as a single mother and a son who kept wanting to run away was very much needed, but could not afford the additions. It was extremely expensive more than the installation and set up all together. This really saddens me.

It was very good scheduling the process and installation with SecureYourHome and Gaylord Security. It was very smooth, and I had no problems. It feels good when I open the door and I hear this little beep, and I know that I'm being protected. It gives me peace of mind, and I would recommend them.

Everything was fine when it comes to scheduling but when I was expecting them at a certain time that was not clear. But then when I called them they acted on it and they respond to help me out, so I hope they can do better communication in their schedules. We end up purchasing ADT Pulse. Since installing the system we have fewer worries, there's some level of protection.

Well I have only had the service for 2 months now. But so far so good. I haven't had any problems thus far. I really like the fact that I can arm and disarm the alarm with my key fob in case I forget to do so before leaving the house. The only reason I've rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I still haven't received my gift card as well as the rebate they promised me when I agreed to use their service. All in all I do really like ADT though.

SecureYourHome had a promotion going on, so we called them and set up a date. We told them what we wanted over the phone and the fellow was really nice, then they set up a date to come and install it. The guy who came and install it was very nice and professional, he explained all of it to us and we liked it, so it wasn't a bad experience at all. They were supposed to come one day and that's when they had that big ice storm where their offices are. They called and informed us that they were having trouble getting everything set up because of the storm and wanted to know if it would be alright if they come another day, and I told them that would be fine. While I was talking to them, I was with a friend and we had been talking about a security system so I gave this fellow my friend's phone number and he called him and they ended up having security put in their house also.

So far, so good with our new security system from SecureYourHome and Gaylord Security. We got the same package as the previous homeowners -- the regular monitoring, the security monitoring. Their specialist was fine during the scheduling process and everything was good with the installation team.

I absolutely love my security system. The people that work for Gaylord are always pleasant and understanding. The monthly price is manageable And because they are contracted under ADT is even more comforting. When I leave my house I have peace of mind. There is even a button for when you are at home for more security. Being a busy parent as most of us are, the security of my home is one less thing to worry about. When my contract runs out with Gaylord I will continue to use them I highly recommend them.

I definitely feel safer now since our security system has been installed. I got the highest package with the keychain from SecureYourHome, and it’s been great. I didn't get the windows done, although that would've been an additional feature. The sales, scheduling and installation were really good. The only question I have is about the pulse system, but I haven’t really spent enough time looking at it to see how I can set it up with my keychain, where it gives me camera notifications on what’s going on.

ADT gives my wife the peace of mind that no one will enter our home again without us or the police knowing it. With glass sensing devices and detectors on every window and door, she is now feels safe and we can resume our normal lives.

So far your monitoring equipment has been great. My family really like the Quick Exit feature that allows you to exit without turning alarm off when family staying home. So far I would recommend this company.
