Absolute sham and rip off. My husband and I purchased a new home and wanted an alarm system. We had worked with ADT in the past and thought going with them would be a good choice. Called to get an install. BIG MISTAKE. They sent out Safe Streets to do the install. At no time ever was it disclosed to us that they are a subcontractor. We got 2 cameras installed along with a doorbell camera and a panel. A month later, we changed internet routers (router, not provider) and the cameras would not connect. Reset the cameras, did troubleshooting on their app etc. NOTHING would connect the cameras, unless a tech came out. Called ADT. They sent me to Safe Streets. This was the first disclosure that we were working with a third party. The tech came out and first words were did they tell you me walking up to your door is a fee and what you are asking me to do is $1000, which they HAD NOT, just connect the cameras to the new router.
This is more than the entire system and install cost by more than triple. I told him to leave. He then said you need to call ADT and break your contract as this is how they do it. Then call us back and we will install without ADT for another fee. Must be a competition for worst service between the companies. There was no support from ADT or Safe Streets. In working with another company they pointed out to us that this camera would NEVER connect without a tech it has to be disassembled from the back to access a particular reset button -- They are currently threatening to ruin our credit because we are refusing to pay the duration of the 3 year contract for a system that worked for 1 month. The contract is a service contract that was not providing a service. Mind you the set up was to come with 3 window sensors that we did not even take as we were getting new windows installed--

This ADT service sucks. Not sure why you have to use 2 app to work the security system. It is inconvenient. Then my camera is always saying full need charge and not service. Plus when I sign up for it state it would be $50 a months. Come to find out they are charging $70 a month. Scam. I would have never got the system if I knew that. Then they trap you in a contract. If you cancel you pay all this money. Bad business. Wish I never got ADT security system.

This whole ADT/Safe Streets is an absolute sham. They lie from the very beginning, neither ADT or Safe streets will deal a situation on an 6 month old install. ADT says not until after 1 year, Safe Street says ADT is responsible. In the mean time I am left to continue to pay for items that I did not want or need that were supposed to be 'free'. The 'free' items cost more than the other items. Don't waste your money on this rip off service. It is a shame that ADT has allowed this to tarnish the good reputation they USED to have.

I am thoroughly disappointed with SAFE STREETS USA/ADT service. I have 5 cameras that I am paying full price for and 3 of the 5 work intermittently or not at all. I finally requested 2 replacement camera for the 2 that don’t work which was reluctantly replaced by this company and they are still not working. FYI, I do not live in a remote area. I have purchased a wi-fi booster, increased my internet speed (now have a higher bill), and even purchased a Whole Home Mesh wi-fi system (AC 1900 Deco S4 3 pack) that I am going to return because I would have to change my wi-fi, then SAFE STREET/ADT would CHARGE me to re-program my cameras.
It was not clear to me when I decided to go with this company that anytime my Wi-Fi disconnected from the cameras I would be charged for the company coming out to reset them because I can’t climb ladders on the outside of my house and reset them myself. Safe Street technicians have been to my home at least 4-5 times after installation. Also, I was informed by the customer representative that I only have three days to return the cameras, which was not enough time for me to decipher if they’re actually working or not. Meanwhile, I’m paying full price for partial service, my warranty expires shortly and I still don’t have all of my cameras working. I hope this review helps someone make an informed decision because if I had known I would have selected another alarm company.

Worst company. Please it's request to all don't call ADT. They say 1 thing and don't be on words. They play games, they told they will give me 10 days trial but they didn't. Now I want to cancel but they are not. I would highly recommend go with SIMPLISAFE. The best company ever seen best of company is no contract like ADT. 3 YRS PAYING $64.99, JUST PAY $32.99, ANYTIME CANCELATION. PLEASE DONT GO WITH ADT. THEY WILL EMPTY YOUR POCKET. THEY give only 2 cameras for free whereas simplisafe gives 4 cameras for free. WORST COMPANY SEEN.

My wife and I moved into a new house in New Braunfels 2022. We opted out of the monitoring services that Safe Streets provided and instead opted to purchase one of their outdoor cameras for above our garage door. The tech that was sent from Safe Streets was at our house from 4pm to 11pm working to install everything and ran into challenges completing the installation. Safe Streets did send another tech out the next morning to finish everything up which was great until the camera stopped working last month (about 2 years after the installation).
What was discovered after the installation was the tech had pigtailed the power cords together which immediately voided the manufacturer warranty of the camera (pictures included). It also is a complete fire hazard and not up to code. I realized this only after the camera was having issues and I went to inspect the setup. Should I have inspected it right after installation? Of course. Lesson Learned. I troubleshoot this camera to no end, following the exact instructions for the WOC2 Outdoor camera.
Nothing worked and they ended up discontinuing the sale of this camera type (go figure). When I reached out to support, they said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to pay extra money if I wanted to speak to a tech over the phone. I ended up trashing the 275-dollar camera I bought from Safe Streets and bought one on Amazon for 40 dollars and installed myself. It works better and is installed correctly. I would strongly recommend self-monitoring and not using Safe Streets at all because if you run into an issue, I promise you will end up spending way too much time and money trying to get it settled with them.

I paid IN FULL over $9000 for a new whole home ADT security system. The Safe Streets Tech who is a Safe Streets Employee (they are a contractor for ADT) was excellent. He provided exceptional service. However, one month after the system was installed, I needed service on the system. It is under a 90 day warranty. The electricity to the main panel was severed. The back-up battery died less than 48 hours later. Thus, my $9000 system has been useless because not a single person at Safe Streets Customer Service will take my call. I have called 7 times today. Still never got a live person. When I called the 8th time and chose SALES instead of Customer Service, someone answered immediately. That's unacceptable. I'm only valued if I want to buy more service. But because they already have my money, they don't take my service call. The absolute worst service I have ever experienced.

I feel like I’d be better off getting a fishing line attached to a bell, that has been ran in front of each of our doors. There seriously isn’t two good things about this company. The one and only positive…was the installer was very nice. Other than that, it’s been horrible. First, on the day of the install they came and it was great, the guy was cool and he did a presentation for someone he was training at the time. I’m sure it was a mix of training and a sales pitch, but I went along with it. They said I’d get a $300 credit if I signed someone up. My mom recently bought a house, so I told her about it. She needed a security system and who doesn’t like money? Win win. Never got it. Called and “the check is in the mail” and, six months later at the time of writing this…still nothing.
We added in a garage door lift sensor that was “going to be installed along with everything else” but it didn’t arrive in time, so they were scheduled to come back another day and stated that they would call when the part came in. Two days later on a Saturday, there’s someone knocking at my door very early, with no heads up or appointment, but…with the parts. Also it was raining so the guy had to stand out in the rain. I felt bad.
Less than a week after the install (the first one not the second), the battery dies. Not sure how as it’s hard wired into the home (and no the power did not go out) but, here we are. So I call and I talk to someone who stated that there may be a charge. I explain that we just had it installed and that I’m not sure why there would be a fee for that. She said “that’s the policy and she would have to get a manager to call me back.” No call back, even after repeated calls back asking for this “manager” (I don’t think they exist.) A week and a half, five phone calls and no security system later, I get someone on the phone who sends someone out. And they fix it, again. With no appointment. I was out, and had to come home so they could do it.
Two days later, I’m woken up to the sweet sweet sound of a low battery beep at 2am. I call back (very frustrated) and they send someone out the next day. It was my first installer. The cool guy. He says the new guy hooked it up wrong and there was actually more power going to it, which caused it to give off a low battery signal. I’m not sure how too much power can do that, but clearly I’m not an alarm expert or I wouldn’t be writing this at 10:10pm and you wouldn’t be reading this whenever it is you're reading this. I can’t remember if they actually showed up on time for the appointment or not. Let’s say they did for fun.
Which brings me to my final paragraph, telling you that again, I have yet another low battery and get to hear the beeping sound tonight while I try to sleep. Long story short. No. No no no. Do not use this company. The customer service is more than a joke, the people clearly have no idea what they’re doing and if I could do it all over again, I’d give them the $300 that I never received, to not have gone with them in the first place.

When this company came to my neighborhood, I already had ADT services through another vendor. The company salesman told me they would pay the remainder of my existing contract with my vendor and would take care of cancelling my current contract. About a month later, I received a call from my previous vendor advising me that not only was my contract not cancelled, that I was now in arrears in my payments.
I spent over 1 month trying to get this issue corrected with SafeStreets finally telling me that they would only cover $700.00 of my contract and I would be responsible for the remaining amount. They also told me that they did not know when they might be able to pay the $700.00 to my previous vendor. They told me that even though I was told by the Rep that my contract was going to paid off, as I did not get it in writing, they would only cover $700.00. Although the equipment is good, I would be very carefully dealing with this company and as soon as get down with all this drama they have caused, I will looking for another monitoring company, as I have lost confidence in this company

We recently rented a house in Phoenix for a few months, and a SafeStreets (ADT provider) salesman came to our door. Despite informing him that we were in a temporary rental and had no plans to use a home security system in the future, he assured us it was no problem. He pushed us to sign up, claiming we could transfer or cancel the system anytime. Now that we're moving, they refuse to let us cancel, suddenly stating we’re locked into a 3-year contract.
This company is deceptive and unethical. We made it abundantly clear that we would be moving within a few months, yet they misled us into a long-term commitment. The customer service has been terrible, making little to no effort to resolve this issue. Now, we're stuck paying thousands of dollars for a service we won't be using. I highly recommend staying far away from this company to avoid similar issues.

Complete bait and switch. Not happy at all with the way things were handled. Quoted less than $1500 over the phone for only new smoke detectors. Then charged over $8000. I was able to talk the technician down to $5000. Still outrageous. I wasn’t informed of any of the pricing until after the panel was removed and replaced and the job had been started. I will be writing a bad review on Twitter and yelp.
Completely dishonest company that takes advantage of their customers. Also was never informed that I had a 3 year contract until the end of the service session. Absolutely terrible experience. After the job was complete there were screws left all over my house (6 in total), including one in my 3 year old's bed and another in the driveway. This was a completely Terrible experience and not worth even close to the money. I also forgot to mention that over the phone they promised a second control panel upstairs as well as 2 key fobs. Neither of which were provided or installed.
*Update* (6/25/2024): We have had several sensor issues and a continued bad experience with ADT/Safestreets. Their management reached out several times to “make things right” because of my initial bad review. in what seemed to be a pathetic effort, they refunded me $87 (2 months monitoring fees) to make up for the $5000 charge over what was originally quoted. Seems like a fair trade, $87 for $5000 lol.
After offering that $87, their GM actually said on the phone with me, “so can we consider this matter resolved?” Which to me is laughable. Then he had the nerve to follow up asking if I’d change my review, to which I again laughed. And... I am not making this up, but I cashed the refund check they sent me for that $87, and it was returned “unpaid” by their bank lol, so I sadly can’t even collect my pathetic $87 from them. It’s not really a wonder why they run such a terrible business, when they bounce checks for under $100. This company is a joke and a fraud, there are so many other security companies out there, I urge you to save yourself some frustration (and money) and pick another. I will be running from ADT as soon as my contract is up.

When I called to clarify the customer service people put me on hold and then disconnected me when I asked to talk with a manager. I ended up wasting 45 minutes of my time trying to deal with this fraudulent and incompetent company. Finally, after 3 calls, got the manager and they weren't any help, just a different version of the same thing. At the time of sale, I was led to believe that the monitoring service was for monitoring activity around the house; I learned later that the monitoring literally monitors when an alarm goes off or the battery is low.
This monitoring is redundant, however, as I receive notifications on my phone, emails in my inbox, and messages in the security device itself, letting me know when there is as little as someone walking too closely to my ramp. We had the ADT system installed by SafeStreets- after 2 days, we decided to cancel as we did not like the 3-year contract. After canceling, I heard nothing for weeks- I reached out again and they had given me the wrong email address to send my cancellation letter to. They said they would honor my cancellation within the 3 day period because it was their fault that they had told me the wrong email. After the system was taken from my home, I called again to see when I would get my refund ($397.74)- the woman on the phone told me that I would have to pay thousands of dollars because I had canceled my contract. I explained to her that I canceled within the 3 day grace period and SafeStreets had given me the wrong email to cancel. She said she could NOT help me with my refund and that if Safe Streets did not cancel my account correctly- I would owe thousands of dollars to ADT.
I was extremely frustrated and talked to 4 different people at Safe Streets and ADT on that day to figure out where the miscommunication was. Finally, I was told that my account had been cleared out correctly and I was to talk to ADT about my refund. I called ADT and they told me that my refund would be issued after the New Year on the 7th of January- which at that time was a month away. I waited until 1/7/2020 which was the date I was told my refund would be issued. To my surprise when 1/7/2020 came, they CHARGED ME AGAIN for ANOTHER MONTH OF SERVICE!!!! I could not believe that not only did I NOT receive my refund but I was charged for another month of service when I hadn't had the system in my home for over a month!
I called ADT to figure out why I was charged AGAIN and why I had not received my refund. After being transferred twice and on hold for 15-20 minutes, he told me my account was not completed canceled out previously and said it would take another 15-20 business days to get my refund which is now another $55.50 more than the almost $400 previously owed to me.
I am so disgusted with the awful communication with Safe Streets and ADT. How in the world is it OK to take money from my bank accounts when I was over a month ago that my account was completed closed out- and I had spoken to 4 people in ONE phone conversation making sure my account was closed correctly. I guess I will check back in 15-20 business days to make sure I was refunded properly and for the correct amount. The frustration and the hours I have spent trying to get my money back are not worth the home security AT ALL! I would rather buy a RING system and set it up myself for the hundreds of dollars that I have YET TO BE REIMBURSED FOR!

I called the company and explained to them that moving forward customers should know that if you choose to get a Ring doorbell vs a camera then you WILL be charged after the first month just to have motion detection in your yard and they won't tell you when they come out so beware of this.

It should be standard practice to have the permission of the person whose name and credit are being used to open an account. The fact that Jay (the salesman) claims no responsibility because he thought I was married to the person who provided my name is also ridiculous. That would mean that any third-party whose last name is the same as a potential customer is at risk of fraud and identity theft, because Jay and SafeStreets will happily run your credit and open an account in your name without ever having spoken to you. Regardless as to whether a third-party is related to a potential customer, the third-party should ALWAYS be aware that a credit check is being run, and an account is being opened in their name. Always.

I was researching home security systems and did an online inquiry with ADT. They called me several times every day but I was unable to answer. When I called them back during my lunch break, Maria was very informative and gave me great information and great quotes. When I told her I needed to discuss with my husband first she turned on the pressure. I asked how long the quote was good for. She said, "Only during this phone call." I again thanked her for the great information but still insisted I needed to speak with my husband first.
She insisted I should schedule an installation date. I again said I needed to discuss with my husband first. She then said “Clearly you are not being honest with me” questioning me and saying I must have other hidden reasons for not buying. I said “Wait a minute honey, don’t you dare tell me I am not being honest” and told her that was no way to secure my business. To which she responded “I didn’t have your business secured to begin with.” At that point I said, "Thank you very much but I won’t be doing business with you" and she hung up on me. I was totally prepared to buy until this conversation, and I hope someone from ADT reads this and cares enough to respond.

Today, there are so many people that break into houses. I've never been broken into before, but I don’t wanna be either. I have never had an alarm system before and I thought that I would be a lot more safe with one. ADT is a widely-known company and I thought they would do a good job. They wouldn’t be in business for as long as they have been if they weren’t doing a good job.
I've been with them for about three months now and it has been a learning experience. There have been three different times that I forgot to turn the alarm off. I went out the door setting the alarm off, then ran to the unit and punched it off. Then, the alarm company called me and said that there was an alarm at such and such exit. I said that I screwed up and they were really nice about it. They said that they were glad that I was not having a problem. They also always ask me for my security pin. Their response time has been good. I understand that they can't dial my number in just a second. They also gotta make sure it's an alarm before they send the police, who get upset with false alarms. But if somebody breaks into my house, they' won't be playing around. They're gonna come in and immediately go for stuff. I'm thrilled with my experience. If I moved and got another alarm, it would be with the same company.

The security system has good features and I feel secured with it, but I really can’t upgrade --- that's okay. One day I had an issue with the system and I called their customer service and I was able to talk to a technician. I have had SafeStreets for three months now.

I’m a widowed woman and for safety, I decided to purchase a home security system. My utility provider solicited SafeStreetsUSA and the deal was good, so I went for it. The interaction and communication with their sales reps were excellent. The process was easy so I went through it without any problems. The installers came at the appropriate time, everything was timely and the instructions were very easy. The quality of the system’s features is good. I use the smartphone feature but it’s taking so long to connect when I use my phone so, I have to use either the remote on my keyring or just get in the house before the alarm activates. It started happening in the last three days. It would still be saying, “Connecting, connecting," and I'm in the house. Nevertheless, since having the SafeStreetsUSA system, there has been a level of security. It’s worth it if you can afford it.

I called them and they gave me my information. Then, they came to my house and installed the system, which took two hours. The features of the system are fine but they told me that there was a $100 gift certificate that offsets the installation cost. They tell you that on the purchase and then, 30 days after the fact, it expires. So, if they’re booking on the 2nd and then installing on the 28th, it’s not a genuine 30 days. That’s extremely misleading.

We bought a townhome and they already had a home security system in. Since we moved into a new neighborhood, we thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a system anyway. When we first looked at the place, we saw the little white box on the wall but I wasn't paying that much attention. We then called ADT because that's the system I’d heard of before. However, when we came over, we realized that the box on the wall wasn’t ADT, instead it from was some other company. The guy from ADT said it actually happened before and I told him it was a compliment because people just glance at that A and immediately call them.
The guy that they sent to do the whole thing was the guy they sent to show it to us and set it up. His name was Rick and he was nice. However, I've had to make some changes lately since we moved. Now, they're all saying the same thing for $27 a month for new customers when I'm paying $47. Also, I'm still uneasy setting it though when I'm home because I'm afraid I'm gonna set it off accidentally. The technician that came out was nice and knowledgeable. He said that I can call him if I ever have a problem with the system. I did that and he took care of the problem. He went right to the problem. He said that all I gotta do was reset the system and it was done in 30 seconds.
I also called ADT to get the problem taken care of and they tried to give me a runaround. They told me to push buttons and do this and that. Other than that, the system's features are good. We live out in the country and we figured a security system might be a good choice and everybody knows ADT so we figured we would go with what we know and call. Their reps seemed fine on the phone. They canceled on us twice during installation, but it was for a good reason. There were storms that were coming through so it was understandable. The tech came out and he was really friendly. He got it installed and explained it very well how to use it. He was very courteous and did whatever we wanted. He wasn’t just coming and drilling holes on our walls. He really wanted our opinion on how we thought things should look. We had a good experience.
What they offered covered our house pretty well. There was a little difference of opinion with my technician versus the person who had told us what we needed in our home because he kinda thought that us getting a deal was what they said over the phone of getting like two glass break sensors. The rep on the phone said that one glass break sensor would probably cover my whole house and the tech disagreed with that. It was a good thing ADT threw in an extra glass break sensor. The tech got it all squared away and it made me feel good that we had it and it got installed. The technician seems like he was very knowledgeable about it and his confidence was pretty obvious.
Also, I've seen a couple of things come to my house about basic packages. What they told me that I got was a basic package and it was advertised for $30 a month versus what I'm paying at $45. But it is what it is. Other than that, everything was pretty good. It makes me feel a little safer if I go out of town or something like that. I know that my wife has a little bit more protection. But it would be halfway nice to see it in effect and know that I am connected to some sort of dispatch or whatever that is calling to check in to make sure that we're good.

I live on a beat road and I get a notice for every car that goes down the street. I’m just moving to this house so I need to call SafeStreetsUSA and see if we can relocate the camera.
I also found out that a shrill bark from a dog can set off the glass breakage. If you leave your dogs at home and somebody comes to the door and they bark setting off the glass breakage. I was moving into a new house and wanted a home security system. I was under the impression when I called the ADT customer service number that I was getting regular ADT. But I ended up with Safe Streets. I didn't know anything about them until they came to my house. They told me they were a branch of ADT. I wasn't given an option and after working with Safe Streets, I probably should have had the regular ADT.
Compared to the security provider I had before, I had a bad customer service experience with the Safe Streets. When I first set up my ADT, I was told that I'd be paying $58.99 per video monitoring with the doorbell camera and all of that stuff. But after a month, I got a notification from the Ring company telling me that my authorization was expired. When I called regular ADT, they gave me the number for the Ring company and they told me that that was how everything got done. When I talked to the Ring company, they told me that it was $3 or $4 a month for video monitoring through the Ring system. I told them I was already paying for video monitoring through ADT.
That was when I found out that I have to pay the Ring separately. I was told to pay for the video monitoring with ADT if I am using their camera. Nobody ever told me anything about the second payment. I was under the impression that everything was under that $58.99. The regular ADT told me that it is bundled if I have their camera. But if I don't then it's not. The Ring rep asked what I had exactly and I sent them the electronic copy of my contract that said, "ADT video monitoring." The rep told me to call ADT because I was getting double charged.
I called back to regular ADT and the lady looked at my contract. She confirmed that I am supposed to be paying a lower rate due to me having the Ring camera. They don't monitor my video. She gave me the number to Safe Streets and I called them. The lady who was on the phone she was extremely rude. I explained the situation to her and she didn't understand. She asked if I wanted video monitoring but I didn't want to pay. I told her that I'm paying for the video monitoring twice when I should be paying a lower rate to Safe Streets and paying the Ring Company what I'm supposed to be paying them.
She just acted like she could understand what I was talking about. She then put me on a long hold. When she got back on the phone she said that they are monitoring my video to which I countered the other company is doing that. She proceeded to tell me that I'm paying the $58.99 for the video monitoring since they were the ones who gave it to me. I asked her if there was somebody else that I could talk to and she told me there was nobody else available. She said the Ring camera is better than the ADT camera, but added that all she could do is to have a crew come out to change my camera to the ADT camera. That way, the $58.99 will be right.
That was not what I asked though. I am okay with my camera especially if the Ring camera is better. I'm not gonna change to something that's not as good. I just don't wanna pay twice for the monitoring. She once again told me that she didn't understand what I was saying. I told her I'd call back another time. But I haven't called back because I was so frustrated with the situation. This is very frustrating for me. I don't think it's hard to understand. I need to call back again and see if there's somebody else that I could talk to. Other than that, everything has been fine. I used the smartphone feature of my security system when I had to turn my alarm on and off for visitors. Once or twice it was "Connecting," so it took a minute.

Other than that, now, we don’t worry when we're away from home. My system is about as standard as it could be with one touchpad, and it came at a reasonable price. I was under the impression that I was getting a Visa gift card, but it looks like they took off the first couple of months’ worth of protection. So, the first month and this month are covered. It's just that the system is a little weird. It lost communication with the towers in the area, and we had to do a reset which caused us to have to set the alarm off for about five minutes. Also, my insurance and banking company, USAA, would offer a discount on home insurance, and so I decided to get a security system. My first contact was through AT&T, and then somehow, I ended up with ADT. And then, they contracted with Safe Streets. I was notified that their technician would be coming to install the system. A lot of people would come to my house for a lot of different reasons, and I was glad that it was a relatively short time span to set the system up. They were able to get somebody over here in just a few days, so that was a positive.
The technician who came was good. He explained everything. It might have been helpful for someone to say that when the technician comes, there may be modifications, and sometimes, the payment is required because I was not anticipating having to pull out my checkbook on the spot and write a check. Other than that, the quality of the system is good. There's one problem that someone was coming out for this week. It's still kind of a mystery because ADT is getting an alarm for a ghost motion sensor. I don't have any, and it is at this patio door which I don't have. Also, part of the mystery is I’ve only gotten this notification in the last month, and the system's been in place since late November. So, that was a little bit weird. Otherwise, it's worked fine.
I've had a few alarms go off, but it worked the way it's supposed to work, so it wasn't an error. And the remotes are very handy. I'm happy to be able to use the remote for turning the system on and off. The system does what I wanted it to do, and I feel that if something happens, then it's gonna trigger a response really quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

I got the system so I can have a fire alarm that does more than just beep and everything else was additional. The equipment functions as I expect it to. I dropped a glass on the floor and the glass sensor went off. My cameras work as well and I inadvertently set off the door alarm by wandering in without disarming the system with the little key fobs. So, I knew the key fob and the door sensors work. I also use the app, mostly for the camera, and it does what I need it to do. The system wasn’t cheap but they were things that I wanted. As soon as I needed it, they were available. I'm not sad or disappointed with how that all went and I'm not terribly disappointed when I get a bill. So, all's well that ends well.

And so, I went to the website and got connected with Safe Streets’ authorized dealer. Safe Streets' customer service reps were knowledgeable. We talked about the features in my home and they put together what I felt was a good system. They made some recommendations based off of my pets and the way my house was laid out. And also, they were willing to go the extra mile and try to put together a good package at a good price and give me the most features. I was very impressed with the sales staff.
The installation of the system went smoothly. The installer was there right on time, confirmed that what the sales had recommended for equipment was good, and talked to me about where we will be putting stuff for maximum coverage. We also talked about the future and why we’d placed a sensor here if we were gonna add a deck in the future.
Our system has got a lot of good features that I need. It’s not quite as modern of a touchscreen as one of the competitors, but I had zero out of pocket expense and the monitoring fees were less. My system has break sensors and a digital touchscreen. It doesn’t show video footage on it, but I can go on the app and I’ve got two cameras. So, it worked out well with regards to what my package was. Safe Streets' cost of service is great. That went out well but it would have been nice if we had that prior to the install so it all could have been done at the same time. Nevertheless, our experience has been really good.

We moved into a new house, and we decided to purchase a security system for safety. I use ADT, which is the most popular brand, and they sent the SafeStreets, so I got them. I've had very good interactions with the reps at SafeStreets. The installation was done very well and the tech who did the installation was professional. The cost is okay, and the features and overall performance of the system are good. The system is working and I’m pretty satisfied with everything.

My wife and I were in an apartment and then we moved into a house. We decided that we wanted to have a home security system. When I was signing up for cable which is Allconnect, they went through ADT and they signed me up right then and there. They basically bundled in a bunch of different features, which was awesome. I was very pleased with what they offered. So far, everything's great. The technician from SafeStreets was very nice and friendly. My wife, who doesn't easily give good feedback to people, said he seemed very knowledgeable. So I think she was very happy with the installation.
Other than that, I'm surprised at how cheap the system is. I saw it when I was signing up when they were telling me about the package and all the stuff that they included. I thought it was gonna be a lot more than what I’m paying a month. In addition, I was excited about all the features that are with the security system like the key fob and the motion detectors. I would definitely recommend SafeStreetsUSA.

SafeStreetsUSA is a good company. I had another system which I had not turned on in a month or so, and I found out that I was still paying for service. I didn't like that about my previous system. The one that we have now with SafeStreetsUSA is better. Having the security system is more of a precaution than a necessity. I like the service, but I don't like that they make you all use a ring doorknob instead of your own. Also, the technology is a little bit different, which I like, but it changed a little bit. The system itself does not interact with my iPhone as much as the ring does.
I wish there's a little bit more iPhone interaction. There's already some and I know when someone comes to my door because of the ring tone. But I don't know if someone opens my back door. A combination of a little bit more of the ring system and a little bit of the security would be better. Other than that, it's fine. The company's customer service was honest and their tech was a good guy. He was knowledgeable about what he did. He did what he was supposed to and nothing more, nothing less. He didn't offer any kickbacks.

The sales rep was knowledgeable. I didn’t wanna have internet or any radio service and he was able to tell me that they had the cellphone towers to monitor it. It was a little bit of a pain for the installer because I live in the middle of nowhere and he had to keep driving down the street to get service on his smartphone so that he could complete the install, but he was really good and knowledgeable. He sold me the package that I needed, which was actually more than I had initially signed on for. He was skilled, fast, neat, and courteous. I'm very happy with everything. As far as the glass breaks, door monitors, window monitors, and my key fob, it has all worked very well and easily. The whole system seems to be quality and I feel safe.

SafeStreets is a good representation of the ADT products. I was transferring back to Virginia from Florida and they didn’t have AT&T Digital Life up here. So I started looking at ADT and that’s how I ended up getting connected with SafeStreets as an ADT dealer. The representative I dealt with gave me everything that I wanted. I even got a gift card back for the installation fee of $99. I just have to keep the service for the three-year commitment that I'm up here. But everything that he told me was exactly what happened. I would have liked to have the video doorbell feature though. That was not something that was discussed when we were coming up with my package.
It's a touchscreen system so there are some pros and cons but it's okay. I don’t like the fact that I have to set my code in order to arm the system though. It would also have been better to have another touchscreen upstairs. But I guess that has to be mounted so it's fine. It's not mounted and I guess I can pick it up and take it with me. It is not labeled either though. I had to label it myself. Aside from that, I have the Pulse app and I can check my camera. I do that sometimes. I have two cameras, the remote fob, two controllers and then sensors on everything. Right now, everything is okay and the quality is as well.

When I had it installed, he walked us through setting up our PIN number and gave us the number in case we had any questions after he was gone, and then he left. The installer was great as well. He just troubleshot it for a minute. That did it for a solid week and a half but it didn't fix the issue. SafeStreets has better price, more features and a little bit more flexibility in the agreement. We customized our package. We added certain features and eliminated a couple. We have a big dog, so we got rid of the motion detector in the package because we didn’t want him setting it off all the time. The installer seemed to really know what he was doing. He came in and explained everything to us. And then, he got to work, installed all the sensors and the control panel, and did a real nice job of putting that in place without damaging or destroying anything. And then, he checked it out real thoroughly before he left to make sure it was working as it should.
The quality of the system seems to be very good. It’s a Honeywell system and Honeywell has always made high-quality products. I told him that my house won’t be ready for a few months and that I was not in a huge rush, but he literally called me every week. I told him to stop calling me and that I will call him when I’m ready. He was very clearly wanting to get the job, but it almost made me not want to give the job to him.
Their salespeople should not be so aggressive. It was also really sketchy that they don’t send any estimate or paper over, and they asked for my credit card before that. The salesman told me, “You just have to trust me,” and it was their policy to get the $99 deposit before anything happens. At first, I was gonna oblige but I realized that I was being dumb and I couldn't just give it to a random person. He solicited and I filled out something online, then I got a call from him and the other company, so it very easily could have been fraud. They could have just sent someone or could have called me saying they were from a company, then get my information and take my money, and never call me back.
If they say they are from Safe Streets and they send me an email with a Safe Streets estimate, then it is a different thing. The installation experience was fine, although they didn’t install the sensor on a specific door that I had wanted it on. Her office number was **. The rude manager that was harassing me said his name was Ryan **. I asked him who his manager was, and he said he was the manager.
After arguing with him for 10 minutes, he told me his immediate manager was Jason **, but I have a feeling this was just a ploy and another con. I just bought a house and I knew the name ADT. It was the only place I looked at. The reps from SafeStreetsUSA offered exactly what I was looking for. My fiancée was here for the installation and she gave me a call quickly for whatever questions I had. The guy that was here gave me a couple of things. However, we wanted the doorbell in the camera outside but he said the wires were too short. In order for him to do it, he would have to rebuild the whole wall. Also, the recording has 30-second intervals and they don’t record it straight through. They have gaps so I’m missing something. If somebody breaks in within those three minutes, I won’t be able to see anything. Nevertheless, the cost was affordable and everything was good. We’re more alert now as far as before going to bed and making sure everything is set up as well as when we leave the house.

We live in a gated community, but sometimes, it's more enticing. I encountered an Amazon driver that was a little skeptical and I felt like they hire everybody, and that was what freaked me out the most. I researched online and a person from ADT came here to speak with us. Their price seemed really good and it has been in the business for a long time so they're reliable. Their people have all been very informative and the guy that installed the system did a really good job. We got the basic features and it was fantastic. We also have an option to add features in the future. It's a great system and a great price for what you get.

They were also the only one that approached me and the customer service rep was fantastic and very helpful. She added a personal touch to getting everything set up and it wasn't just a sales pitch followed by just the typical. She treated me as if I was family rather than just another person on the call. The tech also did a wonderful and thorough job in getting everything set up. He was very friendly and he didn't leave a mess. The system's functionality is great. I set it and if I forget that it's on, I get a buzz when I try and open the door. Everything has been going great and I have spread the word about Safe Streets and how happy I am with the service.

SafeStreetsUSA's reps were super nice and friendly, and were easy to work with. They set up an appointment. The guy came over and set everything up. He asked a lot of questions, did everything quickly and knew what he was doing. I was surprised because I’ve never had a security system put in before and it was so professional-looking when he was done with it. It's a good system and it works nicely. We like it.
The whole family laughs at the different “doors open” and it lets you know that somebody opened the door, which is great because we know it’s working and we know somebody went through the door. The tech said it might annoy us, but it doesn’t. We appreciate that it tell us which doors have opened and who’s coming in and going. Also, if you break one of the seals on the windows or you move in the living room when it’s set up for away, it would go off and call the police. We have fire protection that calls the fire department. That’s pretty decent.
There’s an app and my favorite is the fob. It’s the easiest because you have to get your keys out anyway to get in so you just push the button and it makes loud beeps. You can hear it out in the driveway. But you can also remotely let somebody have access to your house and turn the alarm off for them with the app, which is really cool. Plus, we have a little camera in the back that you can see the driveway. If anything happens, the police or the fire department are at your door. These things make me feel more comfortable.
It could be argued that the cost was maybe a little more expensive than we thought it should be. We looked online because they sell you the individual parts. They give you a package, which is never enough to cover your house, and then they add things to it. But the things that they add are a little more expensive than if you went and bought them, say, on Amazon. But that’s just a one-time fee and it makes sense because SafeStreets brings the system to your house and they install it. It’s a little additional cost but it’s reasonable.

I'm writing in to express my gratitude for Logan... Logan showed up on time and was very kind and very personable. Logan had explained everything that he was doing. Logan had started out by checking our cellular service to try and get the package that was quoted to us. Unfortunately Logan was unable to get the cellular connection so he had explained that because we were not in a great cellular network area we were unable to get the package that was original quote, so Logan went the extra mile and he hooked it to the main phone line and placed the Lynx box right near the phone.
After Logan installed the box next to the phone he then started to get the sensors set up. Activated the motion censored in the main room, placed that on the wall above the curtains and went around the house to place all the sensors on the doors and door walls. After he installed the sensors in the house he installed the motion sensor in the garage. Logan also explained in great details on how the key fobs work and explained that we can activate the alarms from the fobs or that you can set the alarm from box that is near the phone. At first he had put the front door exit time at 30 seconds, but I had him change that to give my dad a few extra seconds to go out of the house. So before Logan left he was able to change the exit time on front door to 60 seconds.
Logan also explained that I would be able to disarm or arm the alarm from the key fob or right from the box. He gave my dad and I the booklet of how the box works and how to set the alarm. In the very end he asked if we had any other questions. Or if we needed any more key fobs. We decided to get a third key fob for a backup. He explained that the extra key fobs were 90.00 and we said that is fine and we will take one. Logan is a great asset to your company.

We bought a house for the first time and wanted to make sure everybody was safe. When I called to get cables connected, they recommended Safe Streets USA. They said they were having a special, free-installation, which is a misnomer because they're always having free-installation. It was okay but I would have liked to see the prices of everything I could have ahead of time, rather than having the guy show up and trying to sell me everything all at once and it was a shock that it was as expensive as it was. I probably would have bought more had I been able to talk about it with my husband ahead of time. The salesman said that if we didn't do it then, we had to pay another installation fee to get it all done later and that sucked.
He was also weird, cold, creepy, impersonal and he did not have very good personal skills at all. He left the basement door wide open and luckily, somebody caught it. He also didn't shut the front door and the air was on. Moreover, he asked me for something to drink and asked to use the bathroom. He did his thing, walked around, and didn't say anything. I would not recommend him to sell anything.
He was also the guy that was sent out yesterday to fix my ADT. I thought not again. He said all he did was take the battery out. He asked if I wasn't told to do that. I said that was the first thing I was told to do and from the next day the panel kept doing what it was doing. He said he didn't know and that they already lost the signal somehow. I asked if everything was fine and he said yes. I said that if there was a problem again, I'd call back. I have the window things on most the windows, the door alarms on each of the doors, and the ring front doorbell. The system functions well. My ring goes off a lot of times when trucks go down the road, which is a bit funny. But I thought it's better that it goes off than not work at all.

Somebody tried to break in while we were in the last house I was renting. I’m a big home defense type person so I figured that the next best thing to keep my wife at ease was to get an ADT home security system, which I like. However, it was a little confusing upfront on how the whole process worked because I thought ADT was coming to install the product. When we got all the brochures from ADT, it makes it seem like ADT is the one that's gonna come out but they did nothing but collect our monthly bill and outsource the installer to Safe Streets.
Safe Streets came and installed, but it was a mess because of what ADT told me their original pricing was gonna be versus after they gave me a quote when they came to my house to get me to purchase a home security system. This is my first security system and I wasn’t given another option to look for another company. When the gentleman came in to install, he was a very good salesman and he made it very difficult for me to say that I’m not interested right now, but I wanted the security system regardless. It just had to be within the price point of which I thought I was getting from what ADT offers on the 40 million pieces of paperwork they send me on a regular basis.
I almost fell off the back seat when I was given the final amount on the few extra items I wanted. Then when I said that I’m not gonna do it, the guy from Safe Streets looked at me and asked me what am I going to pay. He didn’t even try to give me another amount. I told him that I wanna pay what was advertised and he goes that what was advertised wasn’t as many items as what they were putting in our house. But I told him one more time that I thought I was getting what was included on the paper. He called his boss and it was for 200 bucks more with them versus what the paper said. He would have given me all the door, window, and glass break sensors that I wanted including the fire alarm in the basement which was awesome. At that point, I talked with my wife and with the extra couple bucks, I’d rather have her at a peace of mind.
There was only one discrepancy I had out of the whole process. The house was previously installed with an old ADT system. I like the installer and he hit all the right button except that I noticed that he didn't pull one old keypad in the basement. Instead of pulling off the old magnets, he left the one side of the old magnet and then put his new piece for the new board on it so I got a bright, white piece on my door and a small piece on the molding from the old piece. There were little shortcuts that he took to get in and out a little bit quicker.
Other than that, everything else he did was good and he was very efficient. I asked him if he could hide the one wire behind the molding on the inside of my closet for the new alarm and he had no issues making sure it would stay behind the molding. I love the features that were offered in the system, including the touchpad screen, and I’ve noticed that not everybody gets that. I like that the system leaves a voice memo and it can do time and date. I like my system but there are other features that I would love if I could afford to put into it.
I also like that I spent a couple extra bucks through ADT to have the mobile security so it would go to my mobile number instead of my landline. I can alarm and de-alarm it from anywhere in the world as long as I’m on Wi-Fi. Although sometimes, it takes a very long time to alarm and de-alarm if I hit the alarm and punch in my security code. If my phone is still picking up the Wi-Fi from my house that the unit is working, it won’t work. I’ll have to turn off my Wi-Fi and use my data on my phone so that it will make a communication. They don’t jive and they interfere with each other if they’re using the same Wi-Fi. Otherwise, the home security makes my wife feel more secure when I am not home. She used to lock our bedroom door and lock herself in the bedroom with the dog until the sun was out. She was extremely traumatized by that occurrence but now, she doesn’t do that.

We purchased a different home and now live out in the country. The house had a security system on it already but when I called to have other services set up, like the internet, I was switched over to some other company that helps select various services. ADT was one of those and they were offering a $100 user reward at that time. I was also under the impression that the equipment was free, and the installation fee was $99. However, I have seen an amount on my credit card for over $700, so I'm not very happy about that. I also see a lot of advertisements for putting in ADT at $28.99 a month. But we're paying $50 a month, so that's irritating. Given the billing issues, I'm not very satisfied.
But the actual installation of the system was really nice and the tech was very knowledgeable. But I wish we could’ve waited a few days this happened on our move in day and there were three people here ar once, installing different things. So it was a bit overwhelming. I’ve tried setting the alarm when we leave the house and put it on if I'm alone at night when my husband is traveling. We also have a little key fob thing that somebody could press if they fall down. My 98-year-old mom is here frequently. I wanna be able to give it to her when I leave her alone when I run to the grocery store. However, I don't remember how to use it, so I feel like we're paying for something we're not using.
When I arm the system, I feel secure. However, if there’s a break in, it’s a little hardwhen we come home to get it shut, accept our password and then disarm, so I have to do it a couple of times. Then by the time I do that, it sends the message to my phone which is a little frustrating. I should only have to enter the code once and be done, but it's probably because I'm not pressing on the right button or it's a user error. Another thing is that it’s confusing if I should put the ADT sign up as I have heard the two opposing opinions about it. ADT says to put it up and it would deter people from breaking in. But a professional thief would have the schematics for every security system. On the other hand, there are others, Consumer Reports included, that say not to put the sign up because people wouldn’t know that there's a security system. And when the system functions, they wouldn't know which one to bypass. Currently, I don’t have it up.

Nevertheless, the features were fine and they’re easy for me to do. I would recommend SafeStreetsUSA.

I signed up with ADT which was contracted out to SafeStreetsUSA. I picked out the features. I wanted her to have the glass break feature, and tabs on all the doors and windows on the first floor. Their reps were great. The woman that I spoke to was fantastic. She answered all my question and gave me options. Installation was very smooth. The installers showed up on time, told my mom and sister how to use the system and everything was fine. Overall, my mom was happy with her experience with SafeStreetsUSA.

Recently I filed a claim with AHS for my garage door and it’s all automated and I don’t like automated because I like talking to people. It caused an issue because I didn’t talk to a person and they wound up having to refund me $75 because I was overbilled. It took me forever and ever and I had to contact them numerous times. When I would ask to speak with a supervisor, they would say they were not gonna change their minds. I've had to go through the sales rep for our area to get the refund. One time I called in regarding it and I asked to speak with a supervisor. They finally agreed to it but they kept putting me on hold, saying the person was busy and I finally got disconnected -- and that was after 45 minutes.
They have my e-mail address and my cellphone number so there was no reason why if it had not been a total disconnect because if they wanted to speak to me, they would have called me back. However, I've only had one bad vendor. The first gentleman that came out to repair my air conditioning walked in and was excessively rude and wasn’t even in my house 10 minutes and didn’t look at anything, just said it was whatever, turned around and walked out the door.
I've had American Home Shield before in Kentucky and haven't had the issues that I have down in Florida. The customer service down here is not as good. Everything is automated so when you call in, you don’t speak to a person so if you have multi issues with the same thing, you can’t tell them that. For instance, with the plumbing. I had the same issue with two different faucets but I couldn’t tell them that. I said that to the person at the plumbing company and that message didn’t get relayed to the contractor. Automated systems are okay for some things or to a certain point but then you need to speak with a person. I just got this refund this week that I've been fighting for. It took me forever. I've dealt with AHS before and it's not that they're not a good company. It’s just that my experience here in Florida has not been as good as I've had in the past.

I just have the basic package, the touch keypad and the clicker on my keys. The installation was good. The guy showed up on time, installed everything and he suggested that I might wanna get the glass break on my big sliding glass door because if somebody would to throw a rock through there, it wouldn’t set off the actual alarm. So, he was super helpful. I’m probably gonna end up putting the glass break in on my sliding door. It’s just too expensive right now. Nonetheless, the cost and their features were great. In fact, my dog got out of his kennel last Sunday and that set off the motion sensor, and their reps called to let me know. I have always wanted a security system and there was an increased crime in the area. SafeStreets is affiliated with ADT. They got good reviews and a lot of people in the area have ADT so, we went that route. When I signed up for the program, the interaction I had with their reps was excellent. The gal that I talked to explained how the program was gonna work as well as the billing process and it was exactly as she said.
The gentleman that showed up to install the system was very professional. We told him the features that we wanted and he had his own suggestions on how to better secure our house and garage so it worked out great. He also walked us through the whole process about the smartphone feature. It’s a simple system and it’s user-friendly. The phone app works great and I can monitor the system wherever I am. I am more at ease at leaving our house and property. I like that we can secure the area when we leave either for a short time or a long duration. When we’re still in the house at night, there’s also a mode to activate everything and with SafeStreets, there is an overall sense of security.

We bought a new house and the inspection company that we used recommended Safe Streets. The inspection company was also able to help provide some information and set the program up right through them. It also didn't have an extra step. We used to have Time Warner when it was Time Warner, as it's Spectrum now, and they are similar. However, Safe Streets is a little bit easier in terms of setting up and scheduling. I definitely give a kudos to our salesperson who was really great and thorough, which always makes the experience a little bit more easy. He was nice and he texted me beforehand to make sure that I was there in a good time and everything he would need to install was there. He also actually came out to the house beforehand to make sure 'cause the little system that was already here was really old. He was able to figure out what we needed so that it would be good to go ahead of time.
The features of the system are good and we have more of basic ones but they work well. We have enough for us and we don't have too much where it's over-complicated. So far, we're really happy with it. We use it mostly at night to make sure we're covered while we're sleeping and we feel much better having it. It's definitely a good sense of security. We live in a nice neighborhood, but one just never knows. Nobody ever robs a bad neighborhood. The cost is good too as the monthly fee is inexpensive. The equipment can certainly add up and they at least offered to pay it over time, which was good. We would definitely recommend Safe Streets to a friend and tell about our great experience.

We had a company doing the security system before but the contract expired and they didn’t have any local technicians. I had ADT before and the service is pretty much the same plus I feel more comfortable having somebody local versus somebody out-of-state if I have issues. The SafeStreets reps showed up on time and were friendly and helpful. When the installers came in, they checked everything out and went over everything with me to make sure they were doing what I wanted and they did. They also knew what they were doing so I felt good about that. Then they cleaned up after.
I’m happy with the system’s features. I removed the motion sensors since I have a cat and the cat used to set the motion sensor off. I just got window sensors. The alarm panel is also more upgraded than what I had. With SafeStreets, I've gotten my money’s worth and I’d recommend them. They’re one of the #1 alarm companies and I’ve gotten good service from them.

The installer seemed well-informed and was very personable. He walked me through all of the different options that were available and recommended additional equipment. But the cost shoots up very quickly and is a little higher than I expected when you start adding other options like glass break, another sensor here and there, and a motion detector. Nevertheless, I like the features and I’m impressed with them. Some of the options are great wherein you can have the fob and just turn it on and off remotely. I’m also interested in the fact that I can shut down certain zones and have the system speak or not speak. I’ve never had an alarm before so it’s interesting for me and my wife feels safer. When I was in the military, my home in New Orleans had ADT security. It’s a good company. So when I bought a house in Atlanta, they were the first company that I went with. Safe Streets was the most customer-friendly among the different ADT people who called me. I also had a really excellent service from the gentleman who came to my house to install the system. He was professional and he explained everything to me and didn't try to upsell me anything. One time, I called him to ask if he could come by again to show me something. I also told him that one of the sensors kept falling off the piece of plastic when I opened the garage door. I couldn’t get off work until midnight, but he came at 12:30 at night to my home and fixed it. So everything has been super great.
Safe Streets said that the basic stuff would cover free equipment, but I had a lot of windows in my 2,000 square foot home and the master bedroom is on the main, so I made sure that I had the things downstairs to make me feel more secure and added more onto the basic install. When I’m not at home, I can put up the alarm. I also have the alarm on even when I’m at home at night. I have the panic button in my bedroom as well, in case of an emergency. The gentleman also said that I could divide the payment for the install into three payments, instead of one right away. But I thought as soon as I finished paying for that, I would just get one bill from the ADT monitoring. I didn’t understand that they were two separate entities until I got two bills in the mail, which they could have explained to people. Other than that, I was very happy with my experience with Safe Streets and I would highly recommend them to anybody.

The installers said they were gonna hang out for a while, while I’ve gone with the customer service of Frontier. And then Frontier said they fixed it, but it still wasn’t fixed on Frontier’s end. Then the installers told me not to worry and that they would come back the next day.

SafeStreetsUSA called me several times and finally, I was able to talk to them and get all lined up. However, I got a problem with the motion sensor in the front. It has gone off several times. I changed the battery out in case that was the problem but that was not the issue. SafeStreetsUSA walked me through some troubleshooting steps and asked me a bunch of stuff this morning. I also mentioned to the guy from ADT who called me that I’m a little disappointed in the Ring doorbell. The cost was comparable to what I had before, but this system has a lot more bells and whistles than the one I had in Louisiana. So, even though the monthly fee was a little bit higher, it wasn't a problem for me because of what I’ve received out of that.
From the sales rep down to the technician that came in, everything has been wonderful. On the installation, I was given all the options and told how things would work or why the technician had to pick somewhere as a spot. It was very easy and straightforward, and the technicians were all great and professional. They got stuff done in a timely manner.
I have a large room with six regular windows two skylights and a sliding door. So they put the one that would go off if anyone breaks those things and they put a tamper alarm as well. The technician explained everything, which was great because my old system didn't have any of that. His explanation included how I could set up with the app if the alarm was not turned off by a certain time.
Having Safe Streets is different and a whole lot better as a whole compared to what I had before. It would be like comparing a cellphone to a rotary phone. At my old house, all I had was a two-door alarm and a control pad. But now, the system would say which door or window is open. I also like the camera thing. If my alarm is set off for some reason, I can check out my phone and see if there is, at least, someone in that room of the house. Before, I would be informed that my alarm went off but if I'm somewhere else, I can't see if it's a faulty alarm or if somebody's in my house. The cost is also on par with the quality of the system.

The previous homeowner had Safe Streets and they had a good experience with it so I went with them too and I just updated the equipment. I got a new panel but the sensors and everything are the same. The quality and cost of the system were very worthwhile. Also, my interaction with the gentleman who came out and did the installation and activation was very straightforward and helpful. Now, I definitely feel more safe with Safe Streets system there and I don't have to worry about anything when I'm not home.

I got ADT's basic package for home protection although I know they also have a sensor for breaking glass. That is something I may look at in the future but I'm happy with what I have now. I'm retired and there's usually somebody around here all the time. I’ve only had the system for a short while but it has been working fine. I also had a security system in the past but I can do more stuff with the keypads now. It's nice. The system has gotten a bit better electronically. ADT also has a good reputation and I would recommend them to a friend.

I recently purchased a home and that's when I decided to get a home security system. SafeStreets called me and offered me a good deal. Their customer service reps were very informative. They sent a representative and he hooked me up promptly. I had very positive experiences with him. The installation experience was very good as the installers were very thorough. It's a new construction and they did a very excellent job and I'm very pleased with their service. I like the features that were offered in our system. It has a motion detector, and also a fire and window detection. Their equipment is reliable and up-to-date. The technology is great, and I'm very pleased with it as well. The smartphone features are very good. I downloaded the app as soon as the system was installed, and I've used it twice. But normally, I do it the manual way.
Safe Streets' cost was very reasonable. They offered me prepaid AT&T cards, and I recently got all of them. It was $300 worth. They sent me one card for a $100, and then they recently sent me another card for $200. So it was very good and it helped me pay the monthly installment charges. It's very quiet where I live. I live in a rural area and I own some land down here that my mother left me. It's 2 1/2 acres of land and I have other family members with houses on it and it's secure. It took some time to get used to their system, but I sleep much better at night and I enjoy it. And so, I'm satisfied with the SafeStreets system that I have presently.

I had just purchased a new home so I needed a security system in it. The guy from Safe Streets who came out and did the installation was real knowledgeable, and he was comfortable to work with. He gave us good suggestions and we were able to customize our system. When I was with Xfinity, I had issues all the time and it would go off when nobody was moving. It was terrible. Safe Streets' system is working great right now and I will recommend them.

I'm in the area and I was familiar with ADT. The SafeStreetsUSA rep was friendly, although he could have explained things a bit more and went through everything a bit more of what he had done, what was done, and how he did it. Then, when the installer switched out one of the boxes, I told him I didn't want holes because there was a box already up there. If he could've used the same holes, it wouldn't have bothered me. But he made new holes, so there are holes showing in my entrance way and I wasn't very happy about that. It wasn't corrected nor was it fixed. It's still the same way and I had to plug it up myself. Also, he didn't put everything up in a way where the equipment won't easily fall back down. To me, they're not up in a nice way.
The way that everything in the system is set up is good, although there are times when we leave away and we're trying to set it and it takes a little time to do it. I also wish I would have added features that we could tell if somebody was at the house or somebody rang the doorbell and we would know by our phones just getting to know what's going on through our telephones more than getting a call. Overall, I can say that I'm on the tip of satisfactory right now.

Since will be moving, cancelled ADT. This is the thing. I paid for extra equipment but the agent told me that after cancellation, all "equipment" will not be functional including chime. WHAT!!! The agent said I will get discounts at new house. Sorry. I won't used ADT again. I can't even use chime!!! As a loyal customer for the past almost 10 years. Used ADT in 4 different houses. I am ditching ADT. BTW, my monthly bill is $55! SO... be careful. Do NOT purchase extra "equipment" because they will just be junks on the walls!!!

I live with my fiancé here in New jersey and she’s not from here. We decided to get a home security system to make her feel safer and one of the factors that affected our buying decision was the reviews. We also liked the ADT name and they were the first one to contact me. It sounded like a reasonable deal, too, so we went with Safe Streets. The person I talked to was professional and good. He seemed like he knew what he was talking about and answered all my questions. I have friends that are in car security and I have an idea how to break-in to get around the system. So, I asked him certain questions like backup battery and cell phone. I also asked if the cops would still be called if somebody had a little black box to shut the cellphone’s signal off. He told me how the system worked and it fit the need that I was looking for.
The installation was really quick which is nice if you didn’t have too much time to have a person come in and install the equipment. The guy that they sent was pretty much able to pinpoint every angle to cover any concerns that I had and he put the motion sensor right in the spot where you can’t get anywhere in the house without that thing seeing you. I’ve purchased additional equipment as well but I cannot connect it because I don’t have an admin code. It's supposed to be technically my system but if I want to add more stuff, I got to have somebody come over. I found a way that I could hack right through it but I didn't want to touch it. So, I just left it alone.

I liked the idea that I didn't have a big down payment at Safe Streets. Everybody there was nice and helpful. I was given a date when the installation guy would come, and though he was kinda late, he was efficient and it went well. Over the phone, we had already discussed what I was gonna buy so he put in what we had ordered on the phone and he explained it all to me. I had a little bit of trouble with the system being a little oversensitive, but I'm over it. My husband passed away so I was living by myself. I'm hearing impaired and I was a little afraid, but now I feel much more secure.

I'm 84 and I got a heart problem. And sometimes, I’m alone during the daytime. My daughter and my grandson, who are my caregivers, are on an alternating basis. SafeStreetsUSA seemed to be the right choice at the right time. It just gives them great security knowing that I’m locked in, and the alarm would go off if someone tried to get in. Their customer service reps were very informative and accommodated us in every way that we needed.
Also, I have the little box in my bedroom, and I thought it was gonna bother me, but I love it. My grandson lives in the same house with me, and so he goes in and out different doors. When he goes out to work in the morning, the little box says the door was open if the system was not on full alarm so I know when he’s leaving my house and when he comes back. It keeps me alert to where he was and it’s always nice to know. I’m pleasantly happy with SafeStreets and the performance of it, including the added security that it gives me when I happen to be alone here. I’m very comfortable and glad I got their system.
