I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Unprofessional, zero integrity and the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. From start to finish, I experienced the most atrocious customer service imaginable. The 'customer service liaison' left me in lurch for nearly 6 weeks when I reached out to introduce myself, the salesman never followed up either. They do not care about building relationships; they only care about selling windows at an astronomical price with zero courtesy or consideration. They claim to 'leave things better than they found them', these are their words. This is also a false promise as their installers left nails and trash all over my home and destroying the weatherstripping on my front door, they also helped themselves to opening my yard fence and not reclosing it so my dogs were able to escape due to their negligence.
I was told the install would be a 1-day job and they would finish by 4 or 5 PM. These installers did not leave my home until 11:30PM when they said they would be returning in the morning! There was zero communication about this, it was just assumed I would have to deal with it. I could go on forever with all the issues I had with this install. So so disappointed in my experience. DO NOT USE RENEWAL BY ANDERSEN!

We were very pleased by the Windows and Service. We looked at other companies. We also checked the Better Business Bureau on other window companies. We also checked with friends and co-workers. We decided that Renewal by Andersen was the best choice. We are delighted. The windows came in sooner than expected. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The windows are wonderful. The rooms are warmer and I can not believe how much noise they block. We no longer hear the traffic. This is a better product!

We had 10 windows installed in July 2024. We were very happy with the ordering and installation process. After looking our original exterior doors, we decided to have our salesman back to order 2 new doors. Those doors were installed October 18, 2024. Both times, the crew(s) arrived on time and began the preparation process of covering our floors, cabinets, furniture in every room where they were working. The installation is done by professionals who know what they are doing. If we had any questions, they were answered in a knowledgeable way. I would highly recommend Renewal by Andersen for your window and door needs. Our team came out of the Tucson area.

Unlike some reviews I have seen, our experience with Andersen has been very positive. Our Representative, Ian ** was honest and straightforward, non pushie. We would have him in our home anytime. The installers were the best, Julio A., and Cole G. They were on course, very polite, extremely clean and efficient. I gave them a 15 on their review. We are older, had many people come for installs, repairs, etc. seen most all of them and can honestly say they were the best. Hope to have them do the install when we can have the other half of our windows replaced, they were very clean and conscientious. Renewal by Andersen is a top-notch company! Sorry, my experience is not good at adding photos & add-ons is not good. Send someone to help do this and you will have it.

I got a custom door. I paid too much money. It was painful. Also, it took me 8 months to get something. Andersen Windows sent me to one of their distributors that is a private company. I went to a contractor, and I would potentially get a door or a window. I went through this huge chain of mystery before I got anything. That's the problem.
When I called Andersen's 800 number, they were on top of things. They called me within 24 hours or less. But once they handed me over to one of their distributors, it turned into a disaster and I thought I would be ripped off. That's just the way it works that every middleman they send people to take additional cuts and it's non-transparent. I had some very nasty emails back and forth to Andersen's distributor. I wonder if we have paid all the money to someone else rather than Andersen for the product that we wanted.
I hoped the door would be in in July, but that got pushed back. I paid the money to the distributor but they never ordered the door. That took months. I had to send an email saying, "Why is it taking so long?" I insisted on them showing me a purchase order. They showed me a purchase order, and it demonstrated that they never put the door in for order. I was, "Do I actually even have a door?" I raised all these concerns with my contractor who spoke to their distributor. When I tried to talk to the distributor about this, they said, "You're not my customer, the contractor is. I can't give you any information." I paid all this money thinking it went to Andersen, and there was a complete disconnection between me and Andersen such that I didn't know if I would get a door. I got very nervous and lost sleep for months thinking that I lost a $10,000 deposit that I had to pay for a door. I can't imagine it's a $20,000 door. That included installation.
I'm happy with the contractor in the sense that I didn't feel he ripped me off, and I would use him again, but I've had problems with the distributor a couple of times, before this contractor, when it was not a big project. I'm sure that these distributors are used to sell lots of windows and doors to someone. I put up a house on Long Island. It was a nice 5000 square foot house. We bought 30 windows and doors. Someone who is a distributor would be into that big project. But when I called for my door and I went direct, the first distributor that I went to, which happened to be the same distributor that dealt with this door, told me automatically, "We don't do that."
It sounded like one of the salespeople who I got put in touch with didn't even want to deal with me for one door, and hung up on me, but said, "I'll find out." Never gave me a call back. When I repeatedly called, they said, "We can't do that. Andersen won't do it for you." I got the door from Andersen. So, they could do it. I understand that my job was so small, because it was only one front door, that they didn't want to put in the time or effort in order to get it done. That was the feeling and impression I got. They are a big distributor for Andersen. Why do they care? Andersen doesn't do direct-to-consumer. I like their window product. They look for big projects. They're not looking for customers like me, which is why they have the distributor anyway.
It took so long and it was like pulling teeth. Some of what I had to do was to go to Landmarks. They require a certain amount of information and none of that was readily available. I thought Andersen, as a company, would have all of its specs for its doors readily available for a distributor to pull and send on. But I have 20 emails going back and forth with the distributor, where they did not provide what I asked for.
The product that I received was not the product that I thought I purchased. It's okay because Landmarks said it was fine. Landmark isn't making me replace it. I bought something sight unseen, based upon some no pictures because the distributor couldn't give me the piecemeal of specs because they couldn't pull anything, that was uniform. I had to cobble everything together and hope for the best. So, I didn't know what I ordered until the day that it showed up and was installed on my door. It's not what I wanted, but it's not so bad that I would go through the painful effort of returning it. The amount of time it would take to replace is enormous. I would waste another 10 months. I have no choice but to accept it. If someone showed me the door, I wouldn't have bought it. All the money was already taken by Andersen before I ordered the door. That's their requirement. That is what I was told.

I had experience with Andersen before. My family's been using Andersen for 30 years and we still have some windows that were installed 30 years ago and they're working fine. The door is great too. I recently purchased a sliding glass door from them. The installation was simple from start to finish. They did exactly what they said they were going to do in the exact time frame they were gonna do it. They did a great job with the cleanup. I had other people previously who had done construction work on the house and they weren't as good. I would recommend them. I'm very happy.

I used to install windows 10 years ago and their windows are a lot better than anything I installed. I got the windows where the bottom slides up, the top slides down, with the grid pattern. The installers said they'd be here for four hours but they were here about a hour and 15 minutes. They were good and they knew what they were doing. You couldn't even tell. When it was all said and done, there was no dust and nothing left behind.

The sales guy was on time. He didn't smell and he wasn't dirty. That was a plus. He was articulate and very comfortable explaining everything. I used to be a teacher and I laughingly told him he should have been a teacher because he did a really good job with the presentation and explaining things. He was extremely good about explaining to my husband and myself what the process would be, the different kinds of windows, and the different coatings you could have on the windows. He certainly explained all of our options.
He had a heat lamp when he came out and he went to our window in the bathroom and proceeded to show us how much heat we were losing. It was going out the window because our windows are about 25 years old. That was just amazing. He also explained all about the different kinds of windows that we can have. It was really informative because I never knew that much about windows. He explained how the windows are made and that there would be a team coming out to the house to measure the windows and that happened very quickly. He also explained that there would be a time period for the windows to be created, and then another team would be in touch as soon as that happened. They came out soon after that and replaced our window. The guys were fabulous.
We live in New Hampshire so things are getting a little chillier all of a sudden. Traditionally, if you'd have gone in that bathroom, it would have been like sitting in the North Pole. We have a hanging stained glass window in that window for decoration and before the Andersen window, you could see it blowing back and forth because of the air movement. But with the new window, there's no movement from the stained glass window. Also, we can open the window. We didn't dare open our old window because it was rotting and we were afraid we might not be able to get it closed in the summer. Now, it opens so easily. Everybody loves it. We're in a condo complex, and our neighbors are saying, "Can we come over and take a look at your new window?" It's funny.
We paid more than a lot of other people have paid to have windows put in. But Renewal by Andersen is superior. You don't get some scruffy guy coming in and sitting with you for 10 minutes and then telling you, "Yeah, yeah, we got it," and leave and then you get stuck with a window that doesn't fit real well. We've had friends that have had that happen. So use Renewal by Andersen. They're well worth the money.

Andersen's sales rep provided the necessary information and answered any questions. He sounded believable, plus he was very kind and patient with us. Then, the installation was done by a one-man team who was the gentleman who explained the process to us. He did a very thorough job and he went up and beyond what you might expect somebody to do. We have a very old house and an old house can present many difficulties. And so, he hung in there with whatever he was hit with in terms of the difficulties of an old house. He did the best that he could.
The windows are of very good quality. They're very efficient and they look wonderful. It really hasn't been cold enough to really tell but even with the air conditioning on in one room, I didn't think my air conditioning was leaving out the window anymore. It has made a big difference in the room. My husband must have really liked the Andersen windows because we did the back side of our house, and now, he's having them come to do the sides. They're having some kind of sale and he said we'd try to get the sides of the house during the sale.

They started tearing out old the windows and putting in the new windows. They did a very thorough and efficient job. They were very professional and meticulous as well. Renewal by Andersen's timeline lined up perfectly. What they said they were gonna do is what they did. The salesperson came to the house, walked us through everything, took some initial measurements, and we placed our order that night. Because of the reputation of Andersen, we didn't feel we needed to prod at that. Then their professional measurer came out and after that, we got a phone call, a text, and an email on approximate build times.
The install date was when they said it was gonna be. They called that morning and were here within an hour like they said they would be. Had it not been for the construction noise, I wouldn't have known they were here. The crew was very professional and courteous. They overcommunicated. We've had a roof and several things done, and this is the best project that we've had done on this house. The windows are incredible. We noticed immediately we're not hearing outside noise anymore. All of the windows open, whereas the old one does not. We can also tell a difference comfort-wise. The glass is energy efficient as well. We had the old windows tinted and even though the new windows are not tinted, they are still better. They're coated so they block out UV rays. We don't feel the harsh sun coming through.

The Company does not stand behind its products. The locking mechanism on the door I purchased less than 4 years ago broke. When I called to have them come replace it I had to pay $300 to have someone come replace the lock. For a $5,000 door to have this issue less than 4 years after installation and the Company not come and fix the problem under warranty is not acceptable. I would not recommend using this Company as it does not stand behind its products.

These folks are insane. In addition to (almost) keeping you incarcerated in your home as their salesman goes on & on for hours in an attempt to close the deal, their pricing is RIDICULOUS. While their rep went on & on about the quality and how they last, he could not answer my question about why would someone pay Andersen's price when you could buy 3 complete sets complete sets (with installation) of another reputable company's windows for substantially less than Andersen's price. Assuming Andersen's windows last 30+ years, you could buy another leading manufacturer's product every ten years and STILL come out better financially. Unless you don't care about getting a reasonable return on your investment and have unlimited time to host their sales rep in your home, avoid Andersen like the plague.

We like the custom products that Renewal by Andersen provided, the quality of the product, and the quality of the installation that they had promised. Their consultant who came had some videos of the installation process and pictures on her iPad that she was able to show me. Seeing pictures and videos of their installation process and what they're doing was important as well.
One of the questions they asked early on was my timeline. I told them I was not in a hurry but before there's gonna be another big storm. They said that was good because they were not scheduling out for a while. I didn't get any details until the time came to schedule things but once everything was set up, it was great. Everything was by appointment and people arrived as expected. Everything including the measuring and the installation was right on track and everyone was helpful every step of the way. The installation crew was great. They identified an additional issue that had nothing to do with them or even the area that they were installing. It was a potential water leak issue and they were able to help me remedy that situation.
The only problem that I had with anything was the cost. I understand it’s a premium product, so it is a premium value. But I wish there was a way to get the cost down a little bit overall because we have other windows projects that we would like done and it's not something that we could afford through Renewal by Andersen, at least at this time. But if we could, we would definitely go with them again. It was a very good experience.

We got the impression that we wouldn't see the windows for a long time, like October or November but I got a call from Renewal by Andersen saying that they would be able to come over on September 30th, which was perfect. It was done quicker than we anticipated, and that in itself was very nice.
The windows are beautiful. When I walked by the one in the sunroom, I looked at it and thought they didn't put in a screen. I took a good look and the screen is so nice that you don't even see it. I reached out to both Pella and Andersen, and Andersen was the one who reached out to me and gave Mark’s number because he was the licensed installer in the area. Between the two, he made more sense and was more helpful.
The basement door that we had was originally double French doors. When we bought the house, we didn't pay attention to it and we were just glad that the house was good. But my brother had cut the grass and the rock just flew into the glass window pane and it broke. Consultation-wise, both Pella and Mark with Andersen was talking about the size and it would make sense if you went with a sliding door. But if you went with a French door, which is the double-door, it would be more custom size and it would be narrower. It looks nice but it’s gonna be more expensive and we’re looking at an additional 2000 on top of the pricing. Mark was awesome from the get-go until the end. He was very careful and walked me through everything. He was very detail-oriented. He looked at everything and also helped us with finding a solution to fix the crack and the foundation. We had the 2nd half of our 30-year-old house's windows replaced. The first half, we used Pella. That was done about 5 years ago and we have had no issues with them. However, we decided to go with Renewal By Andersen this time around, due to their current promotions. The initial sales process went smooth, with no shady tactics used. The salesperson was knowledgeable on the product and explained things thoroughly. We decided on replacing all windows with sliding types. Most of them already were, so no big deal. We also had them change a window from a half-moon, to a rectangular awning.
The installation was very professional, and made the other company's installation seem almost amateurish. They actually really did leave the rooms cleaner than they were when they arrived. They also had to replace a bunch of outside wood trim, due to 30 years of weather and neglect. Everything came out perfect! Now, my only gripe is with the sliding window's closing function. This is not a huge complaint, but is worth mentioning and the reason I couldn't give 10 stars. It's impossible to close them with one hand. If you try, the other side opens slightly and you can't lock it. You need to hold that side while you close the other. Our Pella windows don't have that issue, even though both sides can be opened, too. At the end of the day, I'm pleased with the purchase. I will recommend RBA to my family, neighbors and friends. I'll just make sure they're aware of the sliding window's limitation.

The other windows in the house are not in great shape, so I was curious to get an idea the cost to replace them. As far as what I would have actually done, maybe one or two windows in a particular spot in the home and a new back door.
However, I 110% regret having them come to my home. It was like letting a used car salesman inside. I know windows are expensive, but the amount they gave me was incredibly high. I wasn't even that serious and explained that to the salesman, but they pushed me to make a decision on a $50,000+ expense. The sales tactics were forced and predatory and the salesperson wouldn't take no for an answer. If someone comes to your home and pressures you to spend $50,000 before they walk out the door, this is not a company you want to work with.

At the time of our purchase, our salesman that was at our home went over options with us for the interior of our windows, and we chose the "natural wood look". Be very careful when you choose this option, because our salesman did NOT mention that once your windows arrive, you will have to pre treat them, then stain/paint them. When our windows arrived for installation, one of their installers gave me the instruction on how to work the windows, take them in and out, etc and mentioned that I would need to stain them before "winter flies".
Subsequently, about 3 months later (August timeframe) we found some mold on our new window in our bathroom. We use the ventilation fan and in the summer typically have the windows open when we shower, but it grew mold anyhow. When I called the company, I was first told that my warranty would likely be void because I only have a certain amount of time to get them treated or it would void my warranty. I told her she would have to prove that to me because I was never even told I had to stain/paint them until they were installed.
Hesitantly, they ordered a new sash (the part of the window that opens) even though there were additional spots on the inside frame and so I then had to involve a regional manager in order to get the entire window replaced. I had also been asking for them to address the sponginess in my window frames since the installation occurred. I had 7 windows and a sliding glass door replaced, and 4 of them had this issue of movement with the window frame. One of the employees had come out to look at my mold, and I asked him why there was so much movement in my window frame, and he couldn't answer as to why that was, but would "throw a nail in it if I wanted". No! I want it fixed correctly!
Again, I had to involve the regional manager (send him videos of what I was talking about, and the same pictures of the mold on the inner portion of the bathroom window) and he said they would fix that when they come out to replace the bathroom window. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars, it is super frustrating that the salesman didn't inform my husband and I that all this additional work would need to be done by us after installation, or I would have never purchased them with the natural would look. Why would I spend $30k++ and then have to do a bunch of my own work on these windows! It's absurd!
Also, they give you no information of what type of product you need to use (i.e oil or water based stain, etc). so when I called our salesman to tell him how unhappy I was that he didn't tell me that all this had to be done by us I asked him what I was supposed to use and he told me a water based stain, but that I would also need to pre treat it otherwise the stain would look all blotchy. And he said to put the pre treatment on and leave it for a day or two before staining, which I should have read the can myself because it's actually only a few hours that you need to wait. I also asked the regional manager on my sliding glass door how I was supposed to treat and stain the inner portion of the stationary part of the sliding glass door because you can't get to it properly. Either the door is closed and the wood from the moving part is in front of it, or it is open and the glass is in front of it?
When the manager called me back he said "there isn't a good solution for this but when the installers come out to replace my bathroom window they can remove the sliding door so that I can get to the other center wood frame behind it and then put it back in before they leave". I told him this is all the more reason these frames should be treated and or stained before they leave their building facility. It's hard to believe that I am the first one that has ever had this issue, but he said he hasn't had that problem with the sliding glass door before, which makes no sense whatsoever!! I would be very cautious using this company .... You are better off to have a contractor or install your Andersen windows yourself!

Generally, we're pleased with the quality of the Andersen windows. However, we did 22 Windows and there are a couple that have a spring on the inside that we're gonna have to have either replace the spring or the window. But we're contacting Andersen about it. But the weight of the windows is heavier and not so plasticky or flimsy feeling. The sliders on them are easy to up and down. And we like the actual glass itself because it has a glaze to it that keeps the ultraviolet out but allows the light in. I like the color too 'cause I have black on the exterior and white on the interior. I wanted one that I could have black from the outside trim look and then white from the inside trim. The installers were also awesome and very thorough. We liked them a lot.

We bought a house last year and it has Andersen windows and doors. The door that we were getting replaced was 30 years old and showing some wear. So, we looked into getting another product from Andersen. We got a storm door. So far, so good. It seems like it's a decent storm door. It came with a warranty. So, hopefully, it holds up. The certified contractor has been good.
We had a front door replaced. It was a different brand of door we went with, and there were some factory defects on it. And the installer got ahold of the factory to come out. He asked me what I thought of the door when he installed. And I said, “Everything looks fine.” He's like, “Well, there's some stuff that I have questions on. I'm gonna get a factory rep out here to take a look.” He did that, and the factory rep said, “Yeah. This is something we need to fix.”
Their crew came out and fixed it but didn't do a very good job at caulking. And this contractor said he's going to be back out to fix what the other door manufacturer’s crew didn't do to his liking. So, he's been very thorough with the work, just reiterating that he wants to make sure that we're happy, that the product looks good. So, it's been a good experience with him. The actual front door we got was a Therma-Tru brand door. And then the storm door we bought was Andersen. Everything was cleaned up. Everything looked great.

The production of the door took longer than I expected but my contractor informed me about the delays. He handles all the conversations with Andersen. Originally, I expected the installation to happen around the beginning of August but it wasn't installed till yesterday. I was having the exterior of my house painted and the painters had to hold up finishing their work till the door could be put in. So, that was an inconvenience.
My contractor told me that the installers would be here at 9 o'clock in the morning and they arrived right on time. The door itself was delivered this past Friday and it was put safely in the garage. The delivery occurred exactly when they said it would. The guys were very respectful of the inside of the house in terms of trying to make sure no dirt was tracked in the house. Then, they completed the installation and had a dumpster pick up all the debris. You'd never know the installation happened. It was beautiful and seamless. I'm very pleased with both the installation and the product. Our Andersen patio door looks beautiful and the price was very fair compared to other vendors providing the same kind of door.

He was good. The installers were also very friendly and polite. They put tarps and things down. They protected everything. With installation that weren't proper, they came back and followed through on that and fixed everything. We like the products. I love the style and being able to open them. I do miss not having a second window, but we'll get over that.

I ordered doors and windows Aug 16 and paid half of the total $ amount. I was informed today Oct 2 that the windows are backorder and there’s nothing they can do except wait for manufacturer. My timeline is not considered. I had requested end of Sept installation on Aug 16. They checked and said no but they can do it Oct 9 & 10. So we change our plans to accommodate those dates then told Oct 2 today that windows are backordered and won’t arrive till Oct 29. Disappointing - anyone on Renewal by Andersen Leadership should look into this order process. Is this your normal dealing with people ? Please don’t take our order and money if you can’t fulfill your end of commitment. If I was told that the windows are backordered on Aug 16, then I would not have chosen Renewal by Andersen. I would have chosen other company who can meet my timeline.

The process with the sales person was good. Installation was botched and to date is still not completed. Communication with the customer service after the unfinished install was good but it took weeks to hear from the service department and additional weeks to actually scheduled a date to complete the installation and repairs of the damaged siding and windows. Inspection of the windows revealed numerous flaws from manufacturing, transport and installation. Service people arrived to repair the damaged siding but didn’t have a clue about the condition of the windows or repairs and missing parts that needed done. This should not have been the case as detailed photos and descriptions had been reported to customer service to be passed on to the service department. At our insistence, the service people contacted a supervisor to come review the window conditions and our concerns.
Our interaction with the supervisor was good and numerous flaws and missing parts were identified for replacement. All items had to be ordered and we are still waiting for parts to arrive and repairs to be made. We still do not have a scheduled date for this to happen. It has been months since this project was undertake and it is still not complete. This was a very large window and sliding door installation job worth many thousands of dollars. We are not even to a point where finish trim/paint can be installed to complete having the home put together or finished. To date, we are extremely disappointed and cannot in good conscience recommend Renewal by Andersen.

I had a great experience working with Renewal by Anderson. I was shown every aspect of the products and had explanations given so I understood about the construction and installation. The installers were polite and very professional. I loved their humor and the fact that my home was left clean with not a mess anywhere. Although I found them a bit "pricey," I believe they will eventually be worth more than I paid. I already notice the noise from cars on the road is much quieter. The window area is much better insulated than my previous windows and doors. Most of my friends are extremely impressed with the stainless steel screens, which are almost invisible.
I did have to stain the woodwork surrounding the window glass so it matched the rest of the windows I did not replace. The company makes it easy because they leave taping around the trim so the staining person does not have to tape the walls. I highly recommend this company if you want window or door replacements. I can't wait to save on my heating bills this winter.

We were willing to sacrifice cost for the quality. If you want longevity, that's what we got. We paid a lot but we got what we paid. We appreciated the good hand-helding we had from our first connection to our second one and the team that came. And we appreciated Renewal by Andersen's one-year interest-free connection. With that one year delay in paying, we got time to gather the money. And when the year is up, we can pay it off without having to put anything on our HELOC.
We had the initial project manager, and we had the team come, and other people would call and ask, "Is everything okay? And how did it go?" And we had some advice. The one gentleman made a suggestion and that's my favorite part of the whole job - being able to look out that kitchen window when I do dishes or cook. We had a window in our kitchen and it's revamped. It has a beautiful open window. We can see outside. We got rid of grids. We didn't know it was possible, we trusted them, and it came through in spades.
The only thing I would have liked was if it was done a little sooner. We signed the deal in the end of May and we got it done at the end of August. But the installation was amazing. Each of them seemed to have their own job. There were four installers, three were more technical and one was a helper. He was a new member of the team. But he did his job just as well as the other three. They worked constantly and professionally.
They were here from 10 o'clock until 6:30 in the evening. They were so prepared. They protected everything in our house. They covered the floors and furniture. It was freaky having plastic all over and stuff all over the floor, but it made all the difference and kept it protected and clean. Even the yard. The one who was not the technician type did a lot of the clean-up. He vacuumed our front yard because from the upstairs window, they tossed the debris onto the front lawn, and he vacuumed it. My husband was amazed.
There was one who, if there were any nicks or anything in the woodwork, patched things up if there was a little nick in it, whether it was there from us or whether something happened, so you couldn't see any damage. But there was nothing major. Our son lives in a million-dollar house. It was owned by a lawyer and it was older, but he also had some window issues. I'm not sure if he had Andersen in the house, but he's been asking us to see invoice. He's coming to check it out. We may have another customer lined up for Renewal by Andersen.

The installers told me to move things away from the window. That was easy enough to do. But I tried to get the security people to come and do whatever they wanted with the wires. So, they just said, "Tell them to leave them out." One guy spoke English. I don't know where he was from, but he understood, and he did exactly what they wanted to do. I thought, "They said, you might want to get the shutters taken down." The company that put them up is no longer in business. But these guys, I said the last time I had them put up, they knew how to take the shutters down. They only had to remove one and they left the others up. But they put it right back up. They didn't complain. It was like they said. It was a good experience. No stress.
In the living room, I got two big windows. Before, I had two windows and a door. Now, I've got two windows and two doors. And I like it a lot better. In the bedroom, I have a window and a door. Four of them got together and worked and talked. They were satisfied, "This is the way it's supposed to be. This is it." I kept watching them. When they put the windows up, to me, they were cloudy. I thought they would be clearer. I saw they were marking on them. They came and told me how I could clean them. So, I thought, "They're gonna let me clean them." Because I thought they would be too tired. But I didn't realize they had them covered with plastic. All of a sudden, they pulled that plastic down and now I got gorgeous windows. It didn’t dawn on me that they had to put something over the windows to protect them as they installed. I thought they would have to clean the windows. But all they had to do was pull the tape off.
They told me it would take three days. So, I thought, "That's fine with me." But I watched them and they brought the stuff out. And my brother kept texting me, "What's going on?" I saw the frame on the deck. I said, "Once they get the frame in, then you're home free." So, the way they took the old stuff out was fantastic and hauled it off. They came in 9:00. And they left here around 6:00. They put in a good long day. But it was perfect. They gave me the name of the somebody that was here overseeing the job, that if I had any problems, to give him a call. But it's gorgeous. I enjoy it. I highly recommend them.
I had a few days on my electric bill that those windows were in and my electric bill went down. Because these are what they call the E windows. My air conditioner man had come in a couple of days after I got them in. I told him that I had turned my thermostat up to 80, but it was still a little warm. He said, "Leave it at 78 because that's where it should be to get the cool back to the house. If I could afford it, that's the kind of windows I put in my house. Because at 78, you're gonna save money." I can't wait until the next bill. But this bill already showed a reduction.

We were in Georgetown in market square. Renewal by Andersen had a deal going on. We signed up for it and they showed us the windows. The guy that came to the house walked me through the whole step-by-step all the way. The windows are among the better windows on the market. They're both slides, all safety glass. Because all of our windows are below 18 inches from the ground. The wife loves them. That's all that counts. The crew painted the outside and inside. They were clean and went through the whole deal. I went with Renewal by Andersen due to a couple of things. I had an advertisement in the mail for them as well as a referral from a friend who used them for windows, and then very specific to my home, I have a very old 1943 home. The contractor was really struggling with just being able to do the job, so they said I should hire a professional company. The initial appointment to meet with Renewal by Andersen took longer than it needed to be because the reps wanted to be so thorough and show me all their products. They wanted to show me the deals, like if I get more than one door, they were having a special. I didn't need the whole sales pitch, and I could have done without all that. I knew exactly what I wanted and needed. After that sales pitch day though, everything was super smooth.
Once it came to installation, the guys made it really easy and took their time. They were really personable and very thoughtful, and the communication was excellent. They checked in with me throughout the entire day, and I appreciated that they cared about the project and told me everything that was going on. They had an exterior door replaced for me, and they ended up being two weeks earlier than I thought they were gonna be. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen for anything. At first, I thought, "Oh, my gosh. It's so expensive," but if I ever need anything in the future, I'm gonna need to use them.

We've known about Renewal by Andersen for a long time and we had a fantastic experience with them. I live in a place called El Dorado outside Santa Fe and a lot of houses here have to have new windows put in. Looking on Nextdoor, everybody seemed to have terrible problems with their installers, damaging the paint inside and the stucco. So I was very nervous when I first decided to go with Renewal by Andersen. But I can't say enough good things about them.
The man who was in charge of the installation, Leo, was fantastic. He was very professional. There wasn't a mark on my paintwork inside and on the stucco outside and I was shocked at that. The installers were here for two and a half days and the installation went very well. It was far better than I had anticipated. The windows seem very solid and opening and closing them is easy. We had two big sliding doors put in which were very expensive and they're great. So overall, it was a very good experience.

I wanted a certain door for the back of my house and Renewal by Andersen doesn't make that door with the blinds inside the hurricane proof glass, so I had to go with ProVia. I started the process in April, and we just finished it a couple weeks ago. The reps have been very good, including Adam. However, during the few months we were waiting, I was supposed to have someone keep in touch with me every two weeks, and it didn't happen. Another thing is even though we put on the original contract in April that I wanted the ProVia double French door put in the first week of August, they didn't even apply for the permit until two days before it was supposed to be installed, and it takes several weeks in this county to get a permit, so I was not happy about that.
I had three very nice young men come for the install. They had to tear out the old door and put in the new one. It took them about four hours. They had a little trouble getting the hardware in and working. The guy that installed it said they've had trouble with this particular brand of hardware that goes with the ProVia door. It took him half an hour to get one door hardware in because it wasn't fitting right. The installers finally got it and they did an excellent job, but they could have been out of here half an hour earlier. It's not their fault though. It's just the product.
Kaylee called me from the Tampa office yesterday. I want the door that I use all the time to close very easily, but I'm having a little trouble with it. I was wondering if it's something that's new with it and it's just gonna take a little time, but Kaylee said to just call her if I wasn't satisfied at any time and they would come back out and see what's going on. Other than that, I'm very happy with the door. It's supposed to be top-of-the line, and for the money I'm paying for it, it better be. I could have put a down payment on a car. Last December, I had a 10 by 16 shed built on my property from Tuff Shed in Tampa through Home Depot that was considerably less. I have no idea why Renewal by Andersen thinks they're all that and 15 bags of chips.

The timeline was about 30 to 40 days from the initial consultation to installation. They were upfront about the timeline. They told us within two days of when they scheduled the install. So, they were spot on with that and kept to their word and got it done.
The installation was great. Javier and someone else came, and they were awesome. They showed up before 8 a.m. I offered them food, drink, and bathroom, just trying to make the day easier for them. They were good on their own. They were here for 11 hours or so. About nine hours in, I was like, “Hey, it's no big deal to us if you guys wanna take off. They are lower quality than the 1986 windows they removed. But even worse, they installed 60% traditional style like we purchased, but 40% were modern style that do not match. Some are not even the same windows in the same rooms! They also messed up windows in a bedroom for style and placement. We have one old window remaining out of 16 since they mid-ordered it. We thought it was gonna be a good experience with Renewal but it hasn't been great. The way that they do the pricing where they come out, measure everything, and give your quote, you don't actually see the details of what you're paying for. They gave us that quote and everything looked really good. But then there were some errors in the original quote order where he had, for some reason, put in that it was gonna be a safety glass with visually obstructed stuff for the bathroom. The rep said that by law, we have to have the safety glass but the second rep who came out said we don't have to have that. I said that if we don't have to have it, I don't want it on the bathroom window and he said we have it in the bedroom window too. But we weren’t supposed to have it in the bedroom window.
He took off both the visual obstruction and the safety glass from both windows and I asked if that would imply that our price should go down. Those were fairly expensive additions. But we were told that because there were some other errors in some other windows where they weren't measured large enough, they just balanced each other out and there was no less cost. Because we didn't ever see a cost per window, we don't have any way to diffuse that.
We were told that we would be kept updated on the process of when they would come out to install the windows. But for three months, we didn't hear any update as to where things were in the process in the building. We just got a text on the day of that said, “Our crew is ready. Can they come out today at eight o'clock.” We got that text at 5:30 or six o'clock in the morning. I told them we were not prepared and that we were told we would get an update on this. The rep apologized for that and gave us a gift card for a dinner out. We scheduled the installation for a week later when we were able to get all the space available so that they could access everything.
They came out and they did a great job installing the windows and the people were fantastic. But when they pulled out the slider, it was 10 inches too big. It was significantly mismeasured. The business part of it left us feeling really awkward. I asked if there should be a price deduction because that 10 inches is pretty significant but they said no and that it was in the same ballpark. I said that we were told that they didn't reduce the price because other ones were under measured. But it turned out they weren't under measured so there still should have been an original deduction. They said they'd look into it and get back to me.
But again, we haven't heard anything about where it was in the process and then when they said they had to reschedule it, they said they'd put this in a rush because the first set took three months. The rep finally got back with us on that and it'll be at the end of October, so it's almost another full 2.5 months. It's almost as long as it took for the original other windows to be built and reinstalled. And we haven't heard back on whether or not they're gonna do a price reduction. I felt really uncomfortable and the lack of communication feels really uncomfortable. Hopefully, they would do a price reduction and we'd get better communication on the rest of it. I love the product, though and I've really appreciated the professionalism of all of the people that were involved in the process of selling and installing it.

I understand that if you live in a condo the board chooses. If you have to get their windows just be ready for issues. I paid $22742 for the 10 windows that were required in my building. That's $2274/window. They chose the more expensive ones. I signed the contract and accepted financing in 2021. Now, in 2024 I can't close the double hung windows or lock them. This is a problem during the winter since I basically have a gap at the top. I have to tape over the windows.
Others in my building have the same problems. I thought it was just mine. When I call them they send out a big tall man with tools. He uses tools in the lock and climbs to the top and really pushes up with all his strength and says "See it's easy." I'm 60 and not as tall or strong. Then he says I have to keep them closed for 2 weeks (fine during the winter) But he says this to my face when during hot weather. I reply back to him.. "So you want me to keep all these windows closed for 2 weeks when it's 95 degrees."
Somehow I thought paying over 22k would make these windows easier, not a source of suffering. I shouldn't have to use tools, climb ladders, and start a weight lifting regime in order to close my windows. In 2024 I still can't close and lock my 10 windows that put me back $ 22742. The gaslighting made it worse somehow. The installation was a bit of a nightmare. They gauged out the walls in the common hall, my hall, and tossed my cats toy out into the street from my 2nd floor window opening. (FYI: Their financing company was honest and above board.) Overall our install went well. Had some issues but they were resolved fairly quickly (before final payment was made). The install team we had did a nice job, but the install manager didn't show up the first day with other windows that did not fit on their first truck, so it delayed the project a couple more days. We were told this happens often. Even the install guys didn't know where the manager was.
That being said, a couple things that customers might not know going into a contract with Andersen - 1) BE AWARE THAT Andersen removes ALL window trim and REPLACES IT with new trim. You pay for this, you have no say in it. Even if you just had your window trim replaced recently, they will remove it and throw it out. Then they will replace with wood and you need to schedule another day or two to have their "stain team" come and finish the trim they installed.
2) BEWARE OF FINANCING DEALS - Andersen told us they had a deal for financing that included no payments and no interest for a year. When we called the finance company (set up through Andersen) we were told Andersen cannot give financing deals, that's up to the finance company. So in the end, we found out we did not have the offer of "no payments or interest for a year"! We made other arrangements and paid it off to get out of the deal with that finance company. Something is fishy there. If Andersen can't make financing deals for their customers, WHY do they offer them??? Being honest and having good customer communication is key.
3) Make sure you keep track of things that are installed and what is being done if you have a huge window project. We had over 20 windows installed and tested every feature of every window and screen after the job was done. We found some issues and had to get them fixed. Our contract says a lot of things about the project manager testing the windows and such. It didn't happen. Be your own advocate if you use Andersen (or any contractor for that matter). Have the issues looked at and resolved BEFORE you make final payment. Otherwise it is harder to get someone out to fix an install issue.

We decided to do it because we needed at least two sliders at the time. So, we decided to do the whole home. They're very good quality.
The installers, the ones that came out and measured again and answered all our questions again, what we needed to do, what we needed to move, were helpful and pleasant to talk to. We reached out to Renewal by Andersen. We received several different promotions in the mail and responded to one of those. We had them in years ago, and they did an excellent job, so we had a lot of confidence they would do another good job. We made an appointment with the sales rep to come out and he went through the house. We explained to him what we wanted replaced, and he was able to give us an estimate for that.
Renewal by Andersen set up an appointment for the installation, and the installers were timely and came out when they said they would. They gave us an idea of how long installation would take, which was very accurate. They were very detail-oriented and instructed us through exactly what they were doing and what they had done, then they cleaned up everything after they had finished the job.
I'm confident the windows we got are very high quality. This is based upon everything we had seen before and other reviews that I've seen as well as for what Andersen charges for those windows. They were incredibly clean and tidy. We had a little bit of a tricky fit, and they were able to make it work without even removing the existing molding, which was really awesome. I was going to go through Windows USA, but I called them three times and they never got back with me. I then called Andersen and they had someone out here quickly to demonstrate the windows. The man who came out for that was very kind and professional. But it took a while before the windows were installed and I had issues with the installation. I have a mobile home and the gentleman that came out and sold the windows to me knew that. But the windows that arrived were too small, so the installers had to frame them out. And in the effort of doing that, they cut back the siding on my home and they made a mess there.
So the windows are beautiful and I love them. But the installation was horrible and we're still not finished with that because they still have to come back and make some corrections. They've put Hardie board trim around most of the windows and then they ran out of trim, so now I'm waiting on them to come back and finish. Also, the window that was demonstrated to me was a tilt window. The one you could open and clean. But the windows that I got do not do that. So there was a big misunderstanding. I got the Series 100 and they said it never had been a tilt window.

Renewal by Andersen reacted to my request quite quickly. There were a lot of manufacturers who didn't wanna try to accommodate the exterior stucco on the house and in talking with Renewal, they would work around that and wouldn't cause any damage to it. The rep wanted a couple of hours of our time and at the time, I thought this seemed like a long journey. But it worked out quite well. He was able to explain everything and answer any questions and seemed very knowledgeable. He had products that we could look at, the way things operate and what they look like. So that was great. I was impressed with his knowledge and I didn't feel like it was a high-pressure situation. He presented it well and it wasn't something like you have to do this now or you can only do 2 or 3 or 15. He gave us the option of whatever we wanted to do.
The installers were fabulous. I couldn't ask for two people who knew the product and what to look for. There were four of us in the house. My sister lives upstairs and I live downstairs and the way that the installers presented themselves and the way that they did the job didn't impact us, as far as living there. That's a lot of it, especially when it's noisy. They went out of their way to make sure everything was fine, that they cleaned up well and that they didn't have an issue with us being there.
What’s telling of their ability is, that the three doors came and each one of them was scratched or damaged. It had something to do with the framing mechanism and while it would have been great to have them there and finish everything up, they said they don't put in damaged products with even a scratch, even if we say it's okay, and they have to warranty it. So, they sent those back and the doors have not been installed yet. They're coming on the 21st of this month. I've had a lot of construction work done on my home and I was in construction and I’m impressed with the ability and the directness in the way that they handled the customer. As far as clean up and not inconveniencing anybody, it was great. The price was expensive but the product is superior.

What made me select them was the quality of their product. We had old aluminum windows, and we have metal siding. So part of that was dealing with the siding and pulling out the old windows. From the inside of the house, they closed it all off with this screen. And all the work was done outside other than the picture windows. The designer was very clear and kept querying me. "You sure you want this color?" Our association requires that we have a certain color on the exterior. So, that was all worked out.
It was very dark, and they're larger pieces. The whole configuration was bigger. And it wasn't a teeny strip that it was before. So what Renewal by Andersen would do is order some new black strips to put on. I'm gonna have some parts of it painted. So, it will work. And they have a special paint that they use. "And do you use their special white?" So, it was my mistake. But I'm gonna remedy it to the best of my ability with their help. Also, it's a high price point. $21,000. In 2005 Renewal by Andersen replaced all the screen windows including two bay windows, and two french doors were replaced with the sliding glass doors we wanted at our home. The person doing the estimate did not give us a good price, and even laughed after we signed our contract saying we could have done much better. The cost was $28,000 before tax for double-hung windows and our house is 1,960 sq. ft. We asked for all windows to be able to open, as they currently were, and the agent refused to price that for us saying in some rooms only one window would be priced as opening. We asked for a price break for paying cash, and received none.
Parts of the frames on the perma-shield sliding french doors were later damaged during a hail storm. I was also disappointed that the company did not offer to replace the one widow that we had in the garage as part of the deal. The only offer was for 30% off on future doors, which we don't need. Furthermore, door-to-door agents have come to our house a couple of times in recent years asking if they could replace our windows: they did not recognize we already had Andersen windows. Yes, I like the UV protection of our SmartSun glass and the installation process went well. However, I was very disappointed with the sales agent and his high-pressure tactics, and still have the home's original little old garage window to contend with.

Original Review: We purchased ten windows for the front of our house that took the full brunt of the sun all day. The new windows immediately cooled our house by at least ten degrees with the tint and quality heat control thru the tempered glass. We loved them. But after seven years the seal on a picture window broke. The argon gas is gone and the windows fill with moisture between the panes. As the temperature changes at night this moisture drops down to the seal and leaks from the window to the supporting wood framing. The wood is rotting away and the sheet rock below is soaked. Andersen refuses to replace the window as they don't believe the seal has broken. It's sad, a quality company that touts lifetime warranties won't acknowledge a product failure.

The sales representative was amazing. He explained everything and I was told it would take time until the windows were to be installed. There was a glitch on the day of installation and I was not happy. My representative went to bat for me and all I can say, I have the most beautiful windows, installed by the most efficient installers, These windows are worth their extreme cost, they are not only beautifully functional, but certainly enhance my home.

The process of choosing and installation of the windows was easy. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable about the product and answered all questions thoroughly and honestly. The samples the local rep had made the decision to purchase easy. The installers were kind, considerate and knowledgeable. They seemed to enjoy their work and took pride in their work.

Excellent time spent to review everything needed to know: installation, window discription, & performanace of windows. Installers called before arrival & actually was here 15 mins. before schedule. Installers were very polite & friendly manner. Installation was done quickly and well. They cleaned up after themselves & took care of disposal. Happy with Renewal by Andersen consideration & help through whole process.

I purchased some windows from them. I can say the windows are decent, but highly overpriced. I felt compelled to buy them because the salesperson didn't want to leave my home. I told him I would think about it and he said he would go have lunch and return. Nonetheless I wanted him gone and I ordered the widows in the February 2024. Today I am still dealing with this installation. First one window measured was incorrect. That one window cost about $4000. I had to wait until they would grace me with a new installation appoint of the incorrectly measure window. They offered me nothing, even after I asked. It is common for the window measuring team to absolve the cost of an incorrectly measured window.
It is now June and the window is finally installed along with the the two windows it sat in between. I had an emergency and left. When I returned there were things that I knew they would need to return to correct. Yesterday, July 29, 2024 they came to make those corrections. They still have to return because now they must order a new screen after they damaged it on install. The installation person told me he does not know when he will return. During this time I emailed several people at corporate and no one cared because the check cleared. I recommend going to Tri County for anyone in Long Island. The amount of money spent was not worth the lousy customer service and lack of professionalism.

I decided on Andersen Windows even though they are a little more expensive because they are custom fit. I waited over 2 months and when they arrived one of the windows was measured incorrectly by two people previously. They cut the old window out and then realized the new window was the wrong size. They wanted to cut into my house to make the window fit. I did not really want them to do that so now they are ordering a window and I have to wait another four to six weeks.
Thank you for your review, Tegan. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. Our team is committed to providing high-quality, custom-fit windows and we are sorry that this was not reflected in your experience. We will work to ensure that this issue is resolved promptly and efficiently. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We have used Renewal by Andersen in the past and we were very happy with them. We have an older period home in a nice neighborhood. So we wanted really nice windows. While they were very expensive, we were very happy with the results. I was referred to the salesperson, Pete, by another window installer who was recommended to me by another person. This particular window installer had an accident the day before we were supposed to meet and knew he'd be out of commission for a few weeks. So he sent me over to Pete. Then he came out within a week and we walked through the project. He prepared a very detailed estimate of everything we needed and then we approved the estimate. Then he came back with the actual installer, Marcel. They spent over an hour here doing very particular measurements for the eight windows and one door.
The installation was crazy. It was one of those where you wait and wait and wait. They told us it would be 11 to 12 weeks to make these custom windows. So at about 12 weeks, I texted and they said, "Oh, well, we can come tomorrow." But they didn't come the next day. They came the next day. It was a crew of 11 men and each one of them had a specific job. They were here from 8:30 in the morning till 7:30 that night, working hard.
We're in Sacramento and it was the hottest day we've had that year. So the house was really hot. It was just crazy. But they were determined to get it all done in one day, which I appreciate. They did have to come back the next day, but it was just three guys to finish working on the door that they installed. It was a French door upstairs that had some framing issues that had to be repaired and a new sill. They took care of that the next day. So everything was done and cleaned up. They prepared the house. They fully protected the floors. They had to go up and downstairs. We have a split-level home, and laid drop cloth on everything and then cleaned everything up. They were a good crew. In fact, we're gonna do a bathroom remodel next year and I will be calling for them to do an estimate for it because I was impressed with how hard everyone worked.

I love the Andersen Windows. Our storm door is magnificent because it's very safe. But the point I don't like is Renewal by Andersen uses subcontractors. Last year was a great experience because the lady who installed the windows was excellent. Also, I just waited one month and a half. But the second experience was awful. I had to talk with the manager because the person who came here was awful. His attitude was very negative. I was afraid to talk with that guy because he watched me through the window, through the door, and I live alone. I had to call the manager of Andersen Windows. They need to select the people who would be sent to work in the houses. Also, it took almost four months. That's ridiculous.
It’s a porch. It's supposed to have windows. But the guy wanted to install glass. I'm very mad with him. I said, “How dare you. You put glasses there. This is not a sunroom. This is a porch. I need air. I asked you for windows, not for glasses.” And he put it down. He asked me for more money. That was why I called the manager. He said it was $16,000. And he asked me for $1,000 more. I'm a widow. The manager told me, “Don't pay any penny.” I let him finish and didn't pay any more cents.
I spoke with the guy. I said, “I do not agree with the work you did in here. And I love the company is doing, but not you. Can you fix all those windows, take it up, put me my windows? I don't want glass. I want windows because that's what I say. Windows.” We started in February and he finished in July and on June. But he messed up my floor. It was a sloppy job. I had to pay $1,400 to fix whatever he did to my floor.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your negative experience with our team member. We strive to provide top-quality service and have shared your comments with our greater team. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience!

The Administrators were in constant contact with me. They let me know when the windows would be ready and set up a schedule for installation. The product is top quality and truly makes a difference in the look of my home. The windows look awesome! I will use this company again when I am ready to do a few more windows and doors. I highly recommend Renewal By Andersen!

The sales rep went through a thorough sales presentation. It was under an hour, and there was no pressure. I had two doors and nine windows installed. The installers completed it in two days, and that's what Renewal by Andersen told me it would take. They were very clean, and they did all the touch-up work as advised. Everything was great. I noticed the differences in heat transfer in the house as well as noise. Everything Renewal by Andersen promised was delivered.

Renewal by Andersen installed a new front door. They said they'd be here at a certain time, and they were. They even sent an extra person as an interpreter. I like the insert and the door. It's a good tight fit. I got a thermometer to check the temperature of things, and they sealed it really well. I am most happy.

Renewal by Andersen did a great job. The only thing is, when they put the alarms back on the windows, one alarm wasn't close enough. And so, I had to have somebody come in. But I have no complaints at all. I've had different windows put in. We have 11 more to go. We're doing it in batches, and they come in on time. I liked that their windows are large sized. We live in North Jersey and someone at work said they got Renewal by Andersen and they said it's worth the money because the way your house is, that's how they leave it when they're done with the windows. So, we tried them. We knew it was a little more expensive. We desperately needed windows. Even my sister said, "How come your windows are so expensive?" I said, "Well, my girlfriend down here got 11 windows for a lot less price, but she doesn't have huge windows like I do." Mine are like 63 inches. They're big windows. So, they're special order.
We had to get three new ones that were not only special order because it was in the hall, but two of them are very narrow. They're about 72 inches. They open and close and it's full screens, which I'm a fanatic of because I believe that if it's hot out and you don't want the air on, if you lower the top window, the heat rises so it goes out. It's an engineering thing. Because of the size of the window, who we tried to get before said it was hard to get the size window, and then they said, "You wanna change?" We didn't want to change the structure, so we said no. And Renewal by Andersen could do it. And it's nice now because I don't have to go through the demonstration. The installer says, "I have to do this." We like that they do a great job. They matched the trim of the house, which is this olive green because I have a cream color. They have it matched which is nice. So, I don't have to worry.
The other thing too is, where my kitchen is, the windows are on the side. The sun used to come in and we just got the kitchen windows in this last set of windows. When the sun comes in now, I could leave the shades up because my son always says, "Pull the shades up, mom." Before, when the sun was coming in, it was hot and you could still see the sun shade coming in. The sun is coming in now, but you don't feel the heat, which is so nice, especially in the kitchen because it gets the afternoon sun and I love to cook and it was like, "Oh, God, a killer." I love Renewal by Andersen. I was amazed because that's where I really felt the difference with the heat. We have Corian countertops, which feel cool anyway. And I thought, "Oh, God, I didn't want to sit there." I forgot the windows are new and I put my hand there and I was like, "Oh, my God, this is great. I could sit over there." It's not hot.
Using Renewal by Andersen, you get what you pay for, especially with windows. It's so nice. It is nice that you just buy the window, they put it in, and they clean up after they're gone. The only thing is you gotta move stuff out of the way, which you do anyway. Then you have to put your stuff back. They've always been polite and we're Italian, so I say, "Do you want lunch?" Nobody wants lunch. They may take a water bottle or two, but that's about it. They keep working. They don't stop. My girlfriend got them down here too, but her windows were much smaller, but she said, "Yeah, no, they just put them all in in one day and they didn't want lunch." I hope if you need windows, you Renewal by Andersen.

We had three windows put into a space where I had a 50-year-old, 15-pane bow. Now I have two small windows on the side that are casements and a middle flat picture window. They've filled in the space perfectly. The installers came at 8:00 and they left at 1:00. They were completely done in five hours and the final product is amazing and beautiful. So much better than what I had.

I had Renewal by Andersen do the windows in the front of my house a few years back and they did such a good job. We contacted them again for our sliding glass door. When they came for the installation, they put their little curtain up and cleaned up. Everything looked good when they left. I've already told several people that we liked everything they did. It was much better than the other windows that we have had.

Our house was built in 1979. We had Renewal by Andersen replace the original windows a few years ago. We recently noticed some gaps and a couple of warped frame edges and called Renewal in order to rectify these issues. Not only did the service technicians address the gaps and replace some of the materials, they also recaulked areas to ensure a tight fit. They left the windows spotlessly clean. The speed by which Renewal got back to us and professionalism of the technicians was superb.

Overall good experience, but when a mistake came up at the end of the project, the company would not make it right. I will not work with them again. The sales process was a little slow. I had to follow up a couple of times to get a copy of the quote. After that, the process was very professional and efficient. The installation was flawless. When the project was finished, I was charged more than the balance due showed on the project portal. Andersen has been aware of the issue for over a year and did nothing about it. They failed to stand behind their mistake and threatened to put a lien on my home if I didn’t pay the additional amount.
Thank you for your review, Bonnie. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the balance amount that occurred at the end of your project. We will be reviewing this further with our team!

I got along wonderfully with the salesman, Larry. But my husband was very upset at the price. On the commercial, Renewal by Andersen specifically stated that there was so much off if you called before a certain time, which I did. I told them I wanted to make sure they understood that I wanted the discount for my patio door. Larry said that he was working with me as much as he could but I don't know if they did or not. My husband doesn't think anything was taken off. We also had our neighbor come over and talk with us about it. She knew that they were expensive because her friend had paid 8,000 for theirs. But I wanted that patio door installed professionally and right away so I paid the price I did.
So far, the quality has been perfect. However, they replaced the border surrounder on the inside of my home, but they weren’t able to varnish it for me. I was upset about that. Larry said that if I had any problem, he’d come do it himself. But I haven't called his number and my kids are gonna be doing the varnishing to match the rest. The installers made sure I kept a piece of the original varnished wood that was on it so it can be matched.

I decided I needed to get new windows. Mine were 25 years old and I was feeling cold chills in the middle of winter. I called around and Andersen was the only one that came and gave me a bid. Joey, the sales rep, came out and he brought out a sample window. He measured the heat register and it seemed like a really good product.
The installers called in advance and let me know the time period that they were gonna be here. They came in, set up their tools, and started taking out windows and replacing them with the new stuff. They were very careful about tracking anything in the house. They had the mats down and the booties where there was gonna be dust from cutting and stuff like that. They had some jack stands anyway between the floor and the ceiling and put those up. Also, they had the barrier that they put up to keep dust from being all over the house. I had four windows done last year and there was one that I held off to this year. I had two different crews and they were all the same as far as the care that they took with the house and the cleanliness during and after. I'd recommend them to anybody.

The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable. It took a month before we got our order in, which was perfect 'cause we were going away on holiday. The product is above standard, and when the installers came, they removed everything neatly and installed everything. The work took two days, and it was done efficiently and quickly. First, they did three windows, then they were supposed to replace the other two, which they did within the next day. They're great windows, and I'm waiting to see how efficient they are in the wintertime. I live in a condo, and the original windows that were here were almost 40 years old. The Andersen windows are supposed to be a lot better than the windows I had.

Starting with the sales experience, the salesman was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of the differences between the Renewal by Andersen products and some of the other products from big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. He explained the difference in pricing and although he mentioned that for making a decision while he was there, there were some advantages of doing so, it wasn't what I would consider high pressure sales. The scheduling was very easy too. They called right away, scheduled everything and showed up exactly when they said they were gonna show up. The people doing the install did a great job. So we're very pleased with the product and the installation.
People always say you get what you pay for. We paid a good price and got a good product and installation. It is an expensive product, but the quality is there and the professionalism for the installation was unmatched. I'd never had that level of professionalism before. This was a great purchase, and there was a price to pay. We have three doors in our house that we'd like to replace. We replaced one of the three, and that's just because that's what I could afford. Would I like to have more done? I absolutely would, but I will not just because the price is so extreme. I'm getting ready to retire, so my spendable income will go down.

My daughter used Andersen and recommended them. The person who came out to give me the estimate was very knowledgeable and gave me a couple of choices of windows that would work. He notified me of some rot and that it would have to come out and be replaced. I agreed to that extra work. The installers came a little late, but they worked late until the job was finished. They had to remove the entire window framing. Then they rebuilt the framing and put in new window sills. It was very extensive work. There were four people here to install only two windows. It was extremely hot out and they worked through it. They said it would be one day, and it was done in one day. I was pleased with that. The windows have a very good quality as well. We've had a couple of storms, but we've not had any leaks.
