The experience with Renewal by Andersen was great. The overall job itself was done great. The people that came to do the installation were very communicative. They were very respectful. They did everything in a very timely manner. They went above and beyond to make sure that they met our expectations and as far as exceeded them, and that we were satisfied as well. The overall pricing was fair. It was more than we wanted to spend originally, but once the job was completed and we got good quality work, it was fair.

Everything was great with Renewal by Andersen. We got 13 single-frame or double-pane single windows that open from the top to the bottom. The installation took two days and it was flawless. The quality of the windows seems to be very good. They're pricey. But the product is worth the price. I would highly recommend the windows.

I live in a historic home and I need windows that match the character of the home. The installation team was fine but twice now when I bought tens of thousands of dollars of windows, they canceled on me last minute and made us rearrange our work schedule and come back. The people from Renewal by Andersen have been very dismissive and not helpful about that and made no effort to make things convenient. The work order was scheduled more than a month in advance and there was no reason that the installers could not have kept the schedule instead of inconveniencing us. Plus, no effort was made to make things right with us after the case. I have quite a few windows still to replace, but I'm looking to see what my other options are for companies that have better business practices.

Andersen was used in a quote from our first installer and I happened to go to the website. When I did that, I talked to the person at Home Depot and got a quote from them. Afterward, I went back to the website, and then, somebody came out from a local construction company that uses Andersen. We have a split-level house and the back door goes to a second-story patio that goes down steps. So, the only access to the backyard is that patio door. The patio door had settled and instead of being flat and square, it was leaning and there was a triangle space where I could fit my finger in where air was coming through and bugs could come through. It was important to replace the door.

When the installers took the door out, they noticed that the entryway was moved six inches to the left and the structure of the corner of the house was compromised. When they installed the door, the installers thought it would support the weight of it. But if it's the corner of the house and there is too much snow or if something were to lay heavy on the roof, it could buckle down into the door and cause that corner of the house to fall in. So, they cut into a structural part of the wood support in the corner, which was when they originally replaced it. The installers had to charge for a couple of hundred more extra bucks for supplies and time. But since then, we've had no problems and the door is working as we expected.

One person did the quotes and the paperwork. He was very knowledgeable, nice and explained everything step by step. The installers themselves were very good and did very well. They were opening and communicating. We paid the higher end because we wanted to start over from scratch, so that was more of a contractor side than it was the actual door. If I did not have to start from scratch, then I wouldn't have to pay as much. It was between 1,500 to 2,500 depending upon how much the door needed to be. But because they had to remove the side of the house and restart from scratch, it came up to over $4,600. I would have liked to have seen it a little bit less expensive. If it doesn't work in the next 6 months or a year, hopefully, the warranty will cover it, but it should last. We're paying for this not to fail.

Everything was excellent with Renewal by Andersen. They had a flyer going around, so I called in response to it. A gentleman got back to me and we set up an appointment date. So, he came to the house, showed his product, and I selected the window style and color that I wanted. We took measurements and wrote them down. We had a job site foreman on the phone and on a video call as well so he could see where we were measuring from to get him the measurements. Doing that saved one extra step.

The only snag we had was the weather was not in our favor being that time of year. I was on the impression weather wasn't a problem. But we had a rainstorm which held things up. We also had a couple of minor scheduling things that we worked around. In fact, we had a scheduling snafu and they gave us an extra 400 on that because it was inconvenient to my daughter who'd taken a day off because she works at home. So, I was able to pay her for her day that she missed. When we finally got the schedule nailed down, it was a different crew that came out and a different job foreman than who took the measurements. But the windows went in good and the measurements were great. They were neat about things and were very efficient. I bought the Fibrex window and I went with the top-of-the-line of that line. I was impressed with the strength, the durability, and the overall longevity of it.

So far, Andersen has been great. They have many options as far as customization, and they go in really quickly and easily. My mother-in-law recommended them, and she's done a lot more remodeling than we have, so we trusted her opinion. We got a two-piece hanging window. We have a regular bedroom window, and there was a very large portrait style bay window that we did. They're very nice windows. The installation was done in a day. Everything was great with our installers. The only issue we had was with our siding people like getting them to get out here and open up the sidings so everything could be replaced, and then everything getting closed up and fixed back the way it was with the siding whenever it was finished.

The windows went in flawlessly. The installers came in, and the windows kept the house warm. We didn't even really notice that it was a thing, because it was cold this wintertime when it was installed. They made sure that the house didn't get extra cold. They went in really quickly and they were very see-through, clean windows. They've since gotten a little bit dirty and I need to clean them. We had really old windows so I do think that we have seen an improvement as far as keeping the cold out when it's cold. We haven't made it to summer yet, but so far, it's been definitely improved for the winter.

We had used Renewal by Andersen to do some other windows in our house that needed replacing, and then my husband said when we were ready to replace the others, we would go with them. And then, we needed a door replaced, so we just had the door replaced by Andersen and did the rest of the windows. This time around, we got four windows and a double patio door. We were very pleased with it. It just took them a long time to put the door in, but that wasn't their fault. That was to get the old door out and put the new door in. It took about a day and a half. I thought a day would probably do it, but I didn't realize how complicated it was gonna be to get our door out, which was not their fault. It was the way it was put in. The installers worked hard. It was just we hadn't had a door put in before and I didn't have really thought about it.

We knew what we wanted. I wanted the door, and my husband wanted the windows. The only thing is the salesperson was trying to convince me that I needed to go with what my husband wanted as far as the kind of thing. There was a little bit of pressure there. As far as the price, they're pricey but you get what you pay for. Everything's expensive now and everything have gone up.

I quoted 3 companies and no doubt I chose perfect with Mr. Rogers Renewal By Andersen! Each of their teams were kind professionals in their service to me from the beginning. I was hesitant due to the price tag of everything but Maylissa sold me on the quality of the windows/doors, quality of their installation, and their continued service to their products after install (free screen replacements, window/door service, etc). The wait time for install was shorter than anticipated and Carla was awesome at keeping me scheduled, updated, and she was quick at answering my various questions/concerns while I waited for install day to arrive.

The Install Teams were outstanding. They were professionals at this stuff, I was happy to see that. I had issues w/ my old siding and they resolved it for me... They didn't have to, and it added extra work on them but they insisted it was not a problem. My windows look great and have made a huge difference already in keeping the cold air out... I look forward to cheaper house energy bills.

Everything went great in the installation of my Andersen windows. In the first set of windows, there was an error in the size. Also, from the time that they were ordered till the time we got the first set of windows, it was delayed. The first time they were trying to install them was late summer. We were trying to do it when it was not too hot or rainy. Once he started to install them, he realized that they were the wrong size and the wrong color. Then they had to be reordered. That put us into November. But we were very happy with the way he installed them. I would recommend the person who installed them for me. The windows are also of good quality. It was a lot of money to put out, though.

Read before you buy! One very unhappy customer of Renewal by Andersen, and here are the reasons. I should start by saying that I have owned homes with Andersen Windows and doors in the past, and they have been very good products. I guess everything does change, some for the good, and some for the bad.

I recently replaced sliding doors (3 sets) using Renewal by Andersen. Even though their quote was nearly double any other company, we decided to use them due to their reputation and marketing message about their company.

Concerning their advertising/marketing message. They want you to believe that they are a vertically integrated company, meaning that manufacturing, installation and service are all one company. That is not true. During the installation, a simple question to the installer clarified that he was an independent contractor, tax identification as a 1099. This is not an employee and is exactly what all other window and door companies utilize for their work. They will tell you that the contractors are “their guys” but a 1099 is a 1099, and they can work with anyone they want to. As far as the product itself, some parts are made by Andersen, and some are not. That is one of reasons for my issue below.

The repair technician and the service center both admitted that the manufacturing of the glass is subcontracted out to another company, and that Renewal by Andersen simply makes the frame. And of course, the glass is the most important part of the product! That is what keeps the cold air / hotair outside!!

Since that time, I have had problems with all doors, have had numerous services calls to “fix” the problems, and have an open work order out now for almost 8 months.

The sliding doors on the second floor have been “repaired” twice, and the cold air continues to come through the doors. Each time a technician came to my home, some minor adjustments were made, but this did not stop the problem. During the last visit, the technician Caulked the outside frame of the door to prevent the cold air from coming into my home. Now… if this was a “custom measured door” that was installed correctly, you shouldn’t have to caulk the outside of the frame. It simply wasn’t measured correctly or installed correctly, and that is what is letting the cold air in.

The sliding doors on the lower level have another problem. The grids on the inside of the glass rattle loudly if you touch the door, open or close it. I have sent videos of the problem to the service center. The technician who was here last time said that the rubber bumpers were not installed on the grids. He even took a video himself and said that this was a real problem. The bumpers I am talking about are the little inexpensive rubber stoppers that you have on your kitchen cabinet doors to soften the noise when you close the door. My doors on the second level have them all along the grid inside of the glass, and there is no rattling when you open or close the door. There are no bumpers on the lower-level doors. The technician said that they must have forgotten to put them on.

After numerous calls to the service center, I finally found out that Andersen didn’t make the glass! I was told that when they contacted the company that made the glass, they told Andersen that sometimes they put them on, and sometimes they don’t. This is ridiculous. There isn’t a manufacturer out there that does not have a SOP (Standard Operation Procedure). It is never left up to the employee whether or not to install a part. When I told the service center that Andersen is the customer since it is outsourced, and they should demand that the problem get fixed, I was told that they are working on it. This has been going on since last summer. Once again, no resolution since it is not all one big happy family.

I have called, pleaded and argued that if these doors were in any executive’s home from Andersen, they would be removed immediately. The product is inferior, or at best, equal to any other company and is double the price. Also, their warranty is not as good as other companies with their limitations and time restrictions. Example: Universal Windows is a true lifetime warranty, not 10 years on the frames and 20 years on the glass. Take my advice, do not do business with this company. You can get superior product for less than half of the cost, and much less aggravation.

I would never so much as ask for a free quote from them again. The process should have been nothing short as easy because of the price you pay for the product(s). This process caused me headaches do to day-of cancellations and problems at my work because of missing 5 days because of Renewal by Andersen problems. The company did nothing to try and fix this as all I got was, "I am sorry" for every problem they caused and then a, "We understand why you will never use us in the future." If I ever owned a company and caused a customer problems that were solely the companies I would do my very best to compensate the customer to attempt to save my company the bad ratings.

The only part of the process that was not negative for me was the installation crew. The crew showed up on time, acting professional and respectful towards my family and home. The crew was even confused why they were called out to a different state to complete work and after they heard the story, they understood. I hope the product(s) hold up because I will dread having to call the service/repair number.

They also didn't take the motion detector off a door I had replaced. Now, it keeps saying that it's a kitchen door bypass. They fixed the tiles. The rest of the stuff, they didn't tell me about and I didn't say anything about it. But everything else was good. The door they put in, they did a good job on. I had my windows and doors replaced by Renewal by Andersen, a choice I made after hearing about them for years and discussing with neighbors as a representative made rounds in our development. After the installation, an inspector required adjustments on the doors, stating they needed fixing, and a technician is scheduled to address this.

The quality of both the windows and doors is excellent. Our previous doors were fogging and had warped over time, so the new installations are a significant improvement. While expensive, I believe the quality justifies the cost. I would rate my overall experience with Renewal by Andersen around a 4 to 5 out of 5. Previously, when I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I had always seen their commercials, and when we moved to Arkansas and bought an older home, I felt confident in choosing them over others like Pella. They did an excellent job, and you can't even tell that any work was done on the house.

I purchased several window types from them, including a large picture window, side-by-side sliders, and double-hung windows. Although the timeline for getting the windows was a bit long due to custom measurements, the installation was scheduled shortly after the windows arrived.

The installation crew was professional and friendly, answering all my questions patiently. I mostly stayed out of their way to ensure a quick and proper installation. They even went above and beyond by helping hang the shutters back up, which they didn't have to do.

I have been involved in the construction industry for years and can confidently say that Renewal by Andersen makes the best windows available, albeit at a higher price point. But their quality justifies the cost.

I replaced my entire house's windows, which included three sliding glass doors and a variety of fixed windows in the dining and living rooms. Some of these are sliders, and I was particularly impressed with the safety glass features due to how low the windows are. I also had three opening windows installed—one in the master bathroom and two in other bedrooms. The screens are nearly invisible, which adds to the sleek look of the windows.

In terms of installation, the team was efficient, finishing within the promised two-day timeframe. I split the project into two phases because of the cost and was pleased that the same installation team handled both phases, which provided consistency and understanding.

I’ve noticed a significant difference in my electricity bills since adding these windows. My house faces west, and the thermal efficiency of the new windows has helped maintain my bills at the same rate despite electricity rate hikes.

One downside was the proposal to replace a 3 feet by 2.5 feet window over the sink, which was quoted at a staggering $15,000—too high for me to justify. It was disappointing not to complete the house uniformly, but the pricing felt excessive.

Overall, despite the hiccup with that one window, I’m extremely satisfied with the rest of the installation. I would easily recommend Renewal by Andersen to friends and family, as their product quality and professional installation truly stand out.

The installation took just two days. The crew was wonderful—very professional and friendly, which made the whole experience pleasant. Regarding the quality, it's fantastic. Living in a house that's about 100 years old, it was important to replace the original windows, and these new ones have made a huge difference. I decided to go with Renewal by Andersen after my cousin got them and told me it was very good. I appreciated that they handled everything in-house. I had a bad experience with another company called Castle, where they damaged one of my cameras during the window installation and didn’t fix it for nearly two months. It was a third party situation.

I purchased storm windows from Renewal by Andersen, and they promised the installation would take less than a month. They were very efficient and finished within that timeframe. The installation process was smooth. The team would take one window out and have one fellow bring it down and set it out. The other guy would take the window up and they would process putting it in. It was the same thing with the kitchen and bedroom windows. They were respectful and professional, ensuring to protect my home by covering the floors. They covered the area that they were working in with a cloth as well. When the team came in, they brought vacuum cleaners and they cleaned up meticulously afterward. They took me upstairs, showed me what they had done and asked me if there were any questions. They also had the stuff that they took out in the yard. They took it away, and everything was left spotless.

Renewal by Andersen did an excellent job. My back bedroom used to be chilly, but now it’s warm and comfortable. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of work they provided. The team was very courteous and treated me very well. They respected me and my home.

I chose Renewal by Andersen because they offered a quote that seemed reasonable and matched our needs. Initially, it appeared to be a good experience, but it ended poorly. A contractor provided a quote for the job, but when they arrived to do the work, they began additional tasks without consulting us. They should have included this in the initial quote or at the very least consulted us about it. Instead, they completed the additional work and billed us an extra $1,000.

Despite my attempts to contact their corporate office, they never returned my calls. The contractor dismissed my concerns and stated that the work was necessary. While the timeline for replacing the windows was mostly as promised, and the order process was also as expected, the additional charges without consent were unacceptable. Since we were never shown evidence that the extra work was needed, it still doesn't sit right with me.

This was my first interaction with Renewal by Andersen, and it wasn't a positive one. The contractor seemed untrustworthy, and I suspect there might have been a communication barrier. We own an antique home, and they used vinyl for a replacement window frame, which was inconsistent with the original wood. We didn't approve this material choice, nor were we informed about it beforehand.

I chose Renewal by Andersen due to the quality of their windows and the warranty and guarantee on their workmanship. I ended up buying sliding windows, a few double hung, and some that fold out from the bottom. The installation was excellent—they removed the old windows, replaced them seamlessly with pre-measured new ones that fit perfectly, and the trim looks great. I can notably feel the improvement in temperature control, especially in the basement. Although I've only had them since December, the quality is immediately apparent.

There was a minor issue with one screen appearing warped, but the installer noticed it and arranged for a replacement without me even having to point it out. The customer service has been exceptional, so I'd rate it a 5 for their attentiveness.

The overall product and coverage also deserves a 5, and the sales experience was straightforward without any pressure. They actually checked our other windows with a thermal tool and confirmed they were efficient, showing transparency rather than upselling. We chose to make additional custom decisions though, particularly a fold-out window for the kitchen as per my wife's preference.

I had a sliding glass door installed by Andersen. Our decision to go with Andersen was primarily to match the pre-existing windows, which were also Andersen products. Initially, we were told the installation would be completed in a day; however, it extended to about three or four days, largely due to scheduling issues with the crew and some unforeseen situations needing additional plastering work.

I have been waiting since Halloween for my project to be completed. A sliding glass door that is 71 inches wide received materials for a sliding glass door that is 21 inches wide. It's tough for anybody to get out a 21-inch wide sliding glass door.

The installation of 10 out of the 11 windows was handled expertly by the crew, whom I commend for their excellent work. However, there’s been a major lapse in communication and coordination from Renewal by Andersen. Overall, my experience with Renewal by Andersen has been excellent. The quality of the product and the professionalism of the staff have met our expectations. Although the windows are on the expensive side, we feel that we've received our money's worth.

I recently had two large windows replaced in my home by Renewal by Andersen. I had previous experience with them. Years ago, they conducted repairs at my daughter's house upon the recommendation of her insurance company.

For this project, I was pleased to find that the process was projected to be a single-day installation, which they followed through on. The installation was excellent, a sentiment I also hold for the quality of the windows themselves. They have professional people as well.

I recently had a window installation from Renewal by Andersen and decided to go with them mainly because I was looking for a fiberglass option that would be better than vinyl. The home consultant who came to take measurements was impressive due to his friendliness and knowledge.

However, the installation team was delayed by about five days because of a trailer accident, and it was quite cold when they arrived. I ended up setting up a tent and spent around $60 on propane to keep them warm during the installation. It'd be nice if they reimbursed me for my propane, but the only issue I had was that the section underneath the window was done in two pieces instead of one, which was less than ideal.

Overall, I was quite happy with the service and would rate my experience at a 4.75 out of 5.

I recently replaced an older Andersen window that had compromised glass and was fogging up. I decided to stick with Andersen Windows because I previously had one that lasted 35 years. The consultant who came over was really friendly and informative, giving me different price options. He had initially planned to replace the cranking hardware on some other windows, but unfortunately, they were discontinued, and I can't open the windows now. They were going to look for the cranks, but I haven't heard anything back from them. The installation team did a good job, but they called in sick on the scheduled day and only informed me two hours before they were supposed to arrive, which was frustrating because I had prepared for their visit. However, once they came, they performed the installation efficiently. I'm very happy with the new windows.

One downside is the price, which was quite steep compared to when I first got Andersen windows 35 years ago. This time, it cost $4,500 for just one window set and a sliding screen door for my patio. Despite the cost, Andersen's customer service was excellent, following up consistently even before the installation was completed. I also want potential customers to be aware that getting parts for discontinued products may not be possible. If you're planning to replace or need parts for older Andersen products, they might not have kept those in stock.

Very disappointed. Salesperson came in and before the sale was done he was very attentive to our questions and concerns. Promised the stars and the world to get the sale done... and he did get the sale. However, when the installation was over, not everything was clean. Pieces of wood from old windows, insulation and other particles were on the floor.

I didn't make an issue of this because it was easy for me to clean, but then I started to look the sliding doors and windows with more detail and found out that on top of the sliding doors weren't caulked/sealed at all, foot locks were and still are very hard to open, glass gets foggy, they left a curtain cord between drywall and sliding door frame and one frame was chipped. This work was done in July 2025. I contacted my salesperson but I haven't received a response from him. Last time a requested an answer on my concerns was on October 10, 2024 but since then is all radio silence. I definitely do not recommend this company.

The salesman was very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Made us feel comfortable and safe paying $174,000 up front for the job of 52 windows.. Acknowledged and understood our Home Owners Association (HOA) rules. After that, the service went DOWNHILL! Install team reached out to us and left monthly updates. We purchased in June. In September we were informed the windows arrived. They could NOT get a building permit, as we had a permit for a generator install (untrue, we verified the county will waiver a second permit). In Sept/Oct, we encountered two hurricanes, and our generator install was delayed. We made multiple attempts to reach Andersen install team, and NEVER had calls or emails responded.

Mid October, we finally made contact with the install team and were informed that the install could not occur until the generator was complete. I PERSONALLY went to the city and county and received verbal approval (it was input in the permit system, which was visible online) that the permit would be waived/approved upon submission. I provided this to the Andersen install team on Oct 28th, along with the paperwork and POCs of senior county managers. I received verbal confirmation from Sandra ** that she had received it on 28 Oct, and the permit folks would take care of it. We were scheduled for install 7 Dec.

On 3 Dec, after receiving no communication from the install team, we finally talked to Luis (fourth different rep). The permit was not showing in the county system, and I wanted to inquire about it. After he researched our file, he elevated this to supervisors who (two personnel apologized), informed us that the permit request had never been submitted—Andersen dropped the ball as they were moving offices to Orlando. At this point, we elevated the problem and started talking to supervisors.

The workers doing the install were OUTSTANDING! However, communication with your install team was horrible! Throughout the whole process, we sent/voicemails over 50 times, and had less than 15 replies. One of the windows arrived shattered off the truck, a crane got stuck in our backyard, and this whole process took 7 months—with NO COMPENSATION offered, and we paid in full June. You earned 7 months interest off of me paying in full.

The windows (except the one I still don’t have) are beautiful. The installers were GREAT, but the communication and customer service were horrible. For the amount I spent, I will not recommend Andersen to any neighbors or friends, if asked. And to date, I still DO NOT have an approved building permit. I own a second home in this area and had considered Andersen for hurricane windows, but have reconsidered after the process I have encountered.

UPDATE: as of 23 December (56 days after giving the permit team the info), It is still not approved after the install. I sent 3 emails, and my wife sent multiple texts to the install team regarding the lift remaining in our cul-de-sac for 5 days. Your representative Kyle, who conducted the inspection informed us that he would contact us, since nobody else replied—has not replied. We texted him 4 times regarding the lift on our property for 5 days, with no response. I still do not have an approved building permit as it has not been paid for. The lift/crane was finally picked up today, after only 5 days, 7 calls from our neighbors, and 2 HOA violations received. I have another house I was considering Renewal by Andersen. There is no way I would even consider it. I will find another company that provides customer service. So much for your “White Glove” service.

Installers were very unpleasant, they rushed the job, it was dark when they finished, following day when to look at my new windows and noticed only part of the new channel was replaced, contacted Mandy stated the issue, she forwarded my concern to planners. Wait for a call on a fix, no call came, left messages, nothing.

Then finally two weeks later I get a call asking what the issue is, explained, they stated they don't install new J channel unless it is compromised. Was very taken back by that then why did everyone during this process agree to replace. He stated there is nothing they can do because the window has an arch to it, they can't match the color. He really didn't seem like he cared, spent $14,000.00 on three windows and I'm stuck with a unfinished product very disappointed, thought using Andersen I would get nothing but professionalism from beginning to end guess not should have just used a handyman service which probably would have gone better.

I had four contractors come and Renewal by Andersen the best-looking window when they brought the sample in. The installers were all over the house because we were getting six windows done. But they cleaned up after themselves. They looked like they were doing things well. I saw them put in ceiling and shims and then, they caulked it. So, they seemed to have done everything good. Renewal had somebody come and inspect the job and show me how to use the windows because you need a little bit of education.

I picked Renewal by Andersen instead of the vinyl contractor grade because I was worried about the installation. I wanted to make sure they did everything properly. And the installers even painted where they pulled off a little bit of paint when they pulled out the windows. I wanted the white glove service because I'm old. And they did it. So, it was great and it gave me confidence that they were gonna do a good installation because that's half the stress of getting new windows. We tried to get doors but they don't have ADA-compliant patio doors. So, they had to give me a refund because it wasn't wide enough for my brother's wheelchair. They sent the check quickly. So, their service was good.

The installers kept calling me, telling me where my windows were and that they were coming. So, they were very attentive. The windows are expensive but it’s worth it. You have to pay for quality. I love the windows and the look of them. I also love that Renewal by Andersen installed it beautifully. I probably wouldn't be so happy if there was a problem, but there isn't.

I got windows and a sliding glass patio door, and they're fantastic. We're very happy with the purchase. The installation was surprisingly smooth. We had 20 windows and one patio door and they sent a crew that was sized such that they can complete the job in one day. I placed the order at the end of September and they replaced the windows 21st of November. It snowed the day before, so it was pretty cold out. But they were very quick and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and, by the end of the day, it was as if they hadn't even been here.

We found little bits of insulation everywhere, but they took care to wrap up our belongings and curtain off other rooms so that none of the debris or dust from the demolition portion would get on our items. So we're very happy with the crew and the salespeople, and we love the product. Even though the product was, by far, the most expensive out of the other window companies that I looked at, but you could tell that the product was better and I'm glad I went with the higher-quality product. With it being cold today in Chicago, I can tell both from a temperature, we don't have drafts anymore from the windows. Also, it actually soundproofs quite a bit. So we don't notice dogs barking as loudly or cars. So we're very happy with that aspect as well.

Jesse, the sales rep, came out, and he spent quite a bit of time and answered all of my questions. We worked out from the initial estimate. We tweaked what we were doing with the windows. The thing that really set me off was, in a good way, I asked him who would be the ones actually doing the work and if they have subcontractors. He said, “No. The people that do the work are our people. They only do windows. They only do doors. They'll be the same ones. And it's not, someone that we hired just to go ahead and do a job.”

I’m a contractor myself. I've been in business for many years, and I never have hired a full-time employee because I know what it's like to try to get people that are competent even to just show up and dig a hole. But Renewal by Andersen's guys were fine. I would recommend the crew that I had, Greg and the two Thomases, to go to anybody's house and be more than competent. They were extremely good in all phases of the project.

From what I had done back in the day when I built the house, the Andersen products now have better quality and updated energy-wise, insulation-wise. I noticed that the furnaces isn’t going on as much and the windows are not feeling cold to the touch. Aesthetically, and what they had to do, it looks a little different, but it's not out of place. It's what I would have hoped for.

The price was competitive. I would have paid less with some other places, but I consider the satisfaction that I got from the guys that came and did it and the quality that they did as part of the price. Sometimes, everything didn't get done the first time. Renewal by Andersen had questions and I also had questions. But we eventually got to resolving it without a big deal. When I asked all of the questions, I've probably been on the line twice as long as with them than most people. But I was satisfied with what I was getting as a huge upgrade to what I had.

The guys that came out to do the installation were also extra nice and answered all my questions, even if I had the question before they were through to give me my instructions. The sliding glass doors are really good. We like the safety feature at the bottom where it's a double lock. I would definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen.

The clean-up was fine. I didn't even think these guys were here in my house, so that was how quiet they were. I'm very happy with the cost. I understand price of windows have gone up due to doing what they had to do, the size of the windows, but I was fine with them.

Tony was my first contact with Andersen, he was pleasant and really helped explain how the installation of my new entryway would take place. Second contact was when the company sent out a man to take exact measurements of the entryway. He was professional and explained the details of the measurements. When the doorway was ordered it was special ordered. Being a special order it did not take a long time to complete 4 weeks. When the entryway came it took all day to complete and the workers made sure everything was cleaner than when they arrived. I would order from Andersen again. They kept me in the loop at all times. I would recommend them to anyone who would ask.

I called today for a part replacement and the fellow was so nice and took care of my issue. I told him I am a retired general contractor and have put in many, many Andersen windows and doors over the years. Like I would tell my customers that they are a great product and their customer service when you need a part they have it. If you are looking for a quality product I would highly recommend Andersen. One thing I will say if you have a contractor install them or do it yourself, read all the directions. Many contractors I have seen install them incorrectly because they don't follow the specs. One typical one is the caulking under a door. It goes in a specific location and many disregard the directions. Installed correctly the product will last for years and you will love them.

I've seen Andersen's commercial on TV and I bought a kitchen window. It was good quality but it took a while to get it. Mark, the man who was gonna put it in, was very nice. He got everything prepped and when he went to get the window, it was cracked. So, he had to reorder it. It was another six weeks before it came because it's not one that you would have that size on hand. It’s bigger than a regular-sized window. I have a bay window in the front and this is in the back of my house. But Mark did a very good job. He was very considerate. He called and let me know that he hadn't forgotten and checked on it. He even called after it was put in. The window is perfect. It's exactly what I wanted and I was good with the price that I paid. It was a good deal.

I wish it would work that way the whole process and I hope the office in Orlando doing better next time. I hope I get my stainless steel looking handles what we said on the beginning to Jesse the guy where showed us the windows, also I have to say the Andersen Inspector was a really nice guy showed us everything how the windows are working and he talked about the 20 years limited warranty. Last word about the windows, they are amazing and my wife and I love 'em.

First of all we trusted the guy where came in our house and showed us the windows they have and we were really impressed with the Quality of these Windows. We ordered 5 Windows for 13000 bucks wow and that is now 4 month ago. In the meantime the installing date shows up on their app. For that reason I called the office and a lady said that the final installing date. Few weeks later I showed up on the app but my password was not more working. So I got a new password and guess what, yes no more installing date, for that reason I wrote that guy where came to our house what is going on with the Windows, he said I can't see an installing date and I should wait till Monday for an answer. All that after four month and nobody called, I had to call the whole time for questions. Whatever. If we not get the Windows installed on Monday we using a Lawyer to get our money back.

The quality of the products that I got from Andersen is good and everything looks solid. I have five large windows in the gymnasium and two in the bedrooms. But their installation is not finished yet. It seems that the manufacturer accidentally shorted us on the brick molding and the installers waiting for that to come in stock to come and finish installing. There is one window left. Other than that, the installation went really smoothly and the contractor is very flexible with our schedule here since there are some areas that are not accessible at certain times. But the contractors have been top-notch. They said the extra piece of brick molding is coming sometime in December but I still have to call back to find out if it has come in yet.

The initial communication with Andersen was difficult because they wanted to speak to the homeowner. They said that they normally demand to speak to a homeowner because they need sign off and permission that only the homeowner can give. But that's why he has us. I'm the full-time maintenance personnel at this particular estate and they had to deal with me. The owner will never talk to them because he is above this kinds of decisions. It was also difficult to get Andersen's reps to come out. They had to look the property up on the internet to see the satellite image of how big it is to get them interested enough to come. But in the end, things worked out and overall, Andersen has been good.

We had seven windows put in. When the installers got to the fifth window, they told us we might have a problem because the frame was old. I have a space between my window I call the sill and the windows that they put in. The window is fine, but I have a draft in all six of the windows that they put in. I have to have somebody come in and fix the window sill. I laugh every time I hear the commercial about how they are concerned about the sanctity of our home, but they left me with a bigger problem than I had before.

I resent the fact that Renewal by Andersen waited until they did all the windows before they told me there was a problem. But they waited until they did everything and told me. The girl that came to sell the windows to us could have told us upfront. We were not given the option to say, "Let's wait on this until we can get it figured out." No. "Let's get the sale done."

It's my fault because I didn't pursue them, but I'm not happy. I went to a separate company, the window people, and they did my windows upstairs in my bedroom. They did replacement. They used Andersen Windows, but they didn't use Renewal by Andersen. They ordered them and put them in. They're beautiful. Because the guys that put the windows in knew what they were doing.

The windows are installed and look very pretty and were installed by professionals. There was a small problem with one window but they decided (one man) that it was within the margin of error so nothing was attempted to tighten its install. We had the entire home (5000 square feet) completed so it was a fairly large job. The windows improve the look of the home and do a good job of making the home quiet in spite of us living close to a busy street (except the ONE window discussed above). The sales lady was friendly throughout the sales portion of the deal. There was not a person that was in charge of our job once installation was happening, so I never knew who was the appropriate person to speak to report the few problems we had.

This job had some problems that were uncomfortable for me to report to the person causing said problem, but if there had been a higher up manager designated for me to report to, it would have been more appropriate, but I am used to working with and from large corporations, not small shops. I know everyone cleaned up all their messes and were very kind and professional and of course, the Andersen windows are very very nice. I know my neighbors were all impressed too.

When I was looking for replacement windows, Renewal by Andersen seemed to be the best option from everything that I read. The first sales person came out with her briefcase and did not want me to just make a decision. I went through a video with her. She said, “I can tell you where every screw and bolt is and how every window is put together. I had to do four weeks training in Missouri and in class. When I came out there, I knew windows front and back.” Cathy was her name, and I trusted her because she came across as being very authentic and not as a pushy salesperson.

I first had a door replaced and a couple of small windows, and I was very happy with it. Cathy made suggestions and because of the very successful placement, everything works. There's no air leakage. The door and windows are beautiful. I told Cathy I have another house with a leaky sliding glass door. She came over and we made a decision about the best product for the space.

The products were custom, so the installation took a little while. But they kept me updated about when they were being made at the factory, when they were shipped and when they would be available for installation. Once they came with the product, they worked non-stop and did not leave until they were finished. I had two different contractors because there were two different locations, and each contractor came in with their truck and tools. They laid stuff on the carpet and didn't leave any shavings. Everything was vacuumed and cleaned. The windows were washed as well.

I've never had such good service on anything. The people were very nice and polite. The last one I had was a man and a couple of adult daughters. They replaced a double sliding glass door, which was a little oversized. That was the reason it had to be custom. They were in and out in three hours and left nothing behind. I was afraid because I had called a couple of window replacement people, and I never felt comfortable with what they had to say. But with Renewal with Andersen, I couldn't ask for a better experience. They were on top of everything. The employees there were all on the same page. They're all informed and can put you with the right person. I also had Andersen Windows before, and when I had one window that clouded up one-time, they came out. I had a 20-year warranty, and it was in warranty. They replaced the window, and it did not cost me one cent.

The installation group was good. We ran into a little problem which was not anything to do with the installation, and I had to have some work done on some wood. Everything was already torn out, so Renewal by Andersen had someone from their headquarters come with some big sheets of plywood, and they put them up and secured it into the huge opening, and taped all around that because it would be almost a week before they could get back out to do the second side. They already did one side and worked on the other.

They handled that well and I wanted the same crew to come and do the second installation because they knew the whole history and what had happened. It probably could have been installed sooner, but I wanted that same crew. It was six days. They came out and finished it up in no time. But it would have been done in a very timely manner had we not run into a problem which had nothing to do with them.

I’ve backed into my bedroom window with the back of a hoe trying to pull some roots out of the garden. I’ve called four places to look for help and they said, "We'll come out and look at it about three, four days." I got this gaping hole in my home. And I bent the frame. I called up Renewal by Andersen. They had a man around that afternoon. He helped me patch up and close the window up with some plastic flexi that he found, came over and put it together. He, at least, showed me. And they lined me up for a new window.

The rep was a very astute man. He knew his business. I was impressed with the way he handled himself and the way he presented the company and showed me a catalog. It was to the point. I like that. There's no runaround. Just, "This is a stock business. We're gonna rebuild. We're gonna custom build a window for what's that opening there." So I said, "Okay. Go for it." Got me all signed up. I gave them the deposit. I sent out the final payment a little while ago. I pay cash for each payment. I don't believe in having any interest. If you got your pocket, finish the job, pay it off, you’re done. I was very happy with the entire thing. The surprise was, they got it out in a month. For a custom window, that is amazing. And when they get swamp with orders, you could wait five months. I couldn't have a hole in the side of my house that long. That was why they put the rush on it.

This window is six-feet across and five-feet high. It has double sliding windows in it. It's a good size window for a bedroom, but that's the way this place is built. He got me all lined up with it with a double-pane glass for the heat. It's a hot spot. I used their little line to check on the progress of it. I got answers on that. I got a call saying, "We've got your window in town." The next day, they came out with all the parts and pieces and put it in. I was amazed. It's beautifully done. It's well-crafted, perfectly fit. I love it. Looking at it and handling it as a custom job is well worth the dollars. They sent me some information on special discounts for more windows. I'm thinking about replacing my patio door. I'm probably gonna line them up early this spring and have them come out and put a new Arcadia door. I'm not gonna go anywhere else.

I'm a repeat customer. I had Andersen windows installed 2 yrs ago. That experience was good except that it took them a year to get all of the screens correct. This review is for Andersen entry doors. I am serviced out of the south central PA office (Mechanicsburg?). The doors took 5 months from order to install date. Install date 1: Installation was a mess, caulk all over the trim, doors, and the floors. They reused the existing trim which had nail holes & dings from being removed twice (1st for measurement appt, 2nd for install). Trim was all supposed to be new. Neither door was hung correctly. One door swung in very hard, the other out. All 4 locks on the two doors were keyed differently. All were supposed to be alike.

The guys cut away the door surround and chipped big pieces of stone off the house to try and get the storm door on. It didn't fit. I was told that a new storm door would be ordered with correct measurements and would be a RUSH order. My complaints are: 1: the mess that they left; 2: that they tried to make my house fit their door; 3: the swing of both doors; 4: the locks; 5: the fact that the guys threw away part to the old door that I had specifically asked them to save and even gave them a box for the parts; and 6: the state of the front entrance that they ripped apart and left looking horrible.

Two weeks later an installation supervisor came out to see the job his guys had done. He was dismayed by the state of the front entrance. He said that both doors needed to be rehung, that the lock cylinders all needed to be changed, that all of the trim needed to be removed & replaced, that different caulk needed to be used because they had clearly used the wrong type, that the a new threshold needed to be installed (they had done it wrong) and that the new storm door needed to be installed (he took measurements) and a better solution for the front entrance needed to be found. he would talk with his team and come up with a good solution.

Forward 6 weeks. 2nd installation date: Two guys showed up to fix everything and install storm door. One immediately disagreed that the doors needed to be rehung, said that the storm door would not fit, that they didn't come with the correct trim, new lock cylinders weren't in yet (I did know this previous to their arrival). They reported that they had the same storm door that the other crew was trying to install. So, no new RUSH order door was ever ordered.

They talked to someone on the phone for awhile and then left without doing a thing. I spoke to the installation/service person about all of this and I asked to be given the contact info for an upper management type individual for this office. I asked for this again a week later. Or to have them contact me. Later that day the same guy that had come out to check on the first install job reached out to me. I never got to speak to a Manager. 3rd install date, nine days later: All of the work got done however the wrong handle set is on the storm door. it doesn't match what I ordered. no word on getting reimbursed for the parts that the first crew threw away.

I am writing this review because the experience was so bad. I am writing this review because I was deceived about ordering a new (RUSH) storm door and was made to wait 2 months to have the storm door installed and the front of the house to be made to look quasi decent. If they were going to install the same storm door, they should have had a crew come out immediately after the 1st install rather than pretend like we were waiting for a new door to be manufactured. This Andersen office clearly has issues. My contact for the job left her position during this adventure and I was not given a new contact. This made any communication going forward difficult. The price that is paid for Andersen products & installation should mean that issues such as the above do not happen! I do not recommend using RB Andersen for your entry door job. Window and door quality is great, but customer service is so terrible for what you are paying for you are better off going elsewhere. After replacing 20+ windows a few years ago we decided to replace 2 old French doors with new sliders. Even though their pricing was even more eye popping than a couple years back we wanted a high quality and matching look throughout the house. We went through the sales process again and were all set. The day of install went fine until we looked and saw that the installers had scratched the front of the door at eye level. Instead of telling us, they tried to cover it up with a smear of paint that was obvious. We called and notified them and they sent someone to check it out. He instantly agreed with us and said they will get it replaced. While annoying, I understand this stuff happens and that they seemed to be working to make it right.

If the story ended here I would give them a 4-5 star, but it doesn’t. After a month of no communication I call and email. I eventually get a call back saying they can’t get a shipping date from the manufacturer (They Are The Manufacturer). The fact that they can’t get a ship date from their own plant is concerning and the fact they can’t expedite an order to fix a defect is also not great. I can’t imagine if a door or window gets broken in the winter and having to wait 3 months for a replacement. I emailed every person I interacted with from my salesperson, project manager, and anyone I could include to get updates and express my displeasure. It has now been 2 months of having unpainted and unfinished sliding doors in the middle of my house. I eventually get a ship date of 1 month more.

After 4 weeks of no updates I contact them again to see if the date is still holding. They don’t respond to my email, but then send me a text at 6pm the day before saying someone needs to be home for the install. This is annoying, but I am happy this might finally be resolved. The day comes and I am at work while my wife stayed home. I get home to find they installed an incorrect cheaper model pre-painted door. I emailed them immediately as it was after office hours about the mistake and my frustration with the situation. No one responds at all. A few days later someone from their customer service or operations department left a voicemail with my wife stating they will work to make it right and that they will keep calling to get in contact with us. I called her back and left her my email as work had been busy and expressed my frustration and wanting to know how it will be fixed.

I have never gotten another call or response. I sent another email to every person from Renewal again to which no one responded. Apparently the second they cashed our check they stopped treating us with any respect. After $15k for this job and a previous $35k in windows you would think we would be getting the best customer service. I have had my first floor looking awful with unfinished mismatched doors for 5+ months. I have not been given a date it will be fixed and have given up all hope of this being made right. I doubt there is any value in their warranty and service guarantees and feel like this is one of the few examples of you don’t get what you pay for. For what we paid we could have replaced all of these windows and doors twice and would be better off for it. Absolute disaster made worse by zero service or care about the customer once they get paid.

I would give RBA a zero if I could. In 2015 We bought 17 widows and a sliding glass door costing roughly 30,000, fast forwarding to 2024. Around EVERY window is mold and rotten wood. 110,000 dollars of damage. Andersen was called, and Matt was sent out. That was 2 weeks ago. We have not heard or seen them since. We paid 30,000 dollars to have 110,000 worth of mold, mildew and water damage done to our because of improper installation which they refuse to take responsibility for. Their work or lack of to our house is criminal. Think about this before you use them. As our general contractor said, "I’ve been in this business my whole life and have never see such a sloppy, unprofessional job." This is what we paid for. Buyer beware!

We've had Andersen Windows in other homes that we've owned. This is a condo that we moved into and it had an Andersen sliding door. That is what we had replaced. Renewal by Andersen did a good job installing the door. It went smoothly. It's a complicated replacement in a condo because we're on the second floor. The contractor couldn't use the elevator. He had to carry the door up the steps. We have maple trim in the apartment and we wanted to use the same trim that was there because it was done the same way all throughout the apartment instead of just using Menards or Home Depot trim. He worked with us with that. And there were some new pieces that had to be bought. He made sure the stain matched exactly. He presented us with several styles of doors to choose from. It was with the wood on the inside. I was pleased with him. He did an excellent job and was very meticulous on his finishes.

He was here at least four times. We had a hot water heat baseboard under the first sliding door, the original one. We had to have the plumber in to split that away from it. We had the contractor come in and measure the rough opening and find the correct measurements for the replacement door. It drops more to the floor. But he also had it go out on to an enclosed porch. He had to build a threshold. He got the original measurements, came back after the plumber was done, double-checked everything. He and his assistant came in and installed the door. He came back and finished the trim area and the threshold. It's a very nice door. We love it. We have a lady down the hall that we recommended it to. This is a condo building. We have 53 units here. We invite people in to see it. Everybody knew we were having it done. They were all curious about it. So, we've had several people in and all of them admired it.

Also, we had one full window put in but we had one where it was just the window kit. So we purchased the window portion because that was all it needed. The installers who came in were professional and I have no complaints about them. We'll see if there are any issues eventually but so far, everything seems to be in order and good right now. I like the windows and how the cranks fold in so that they're not poking out which is a nice added design.

The doors are of lower quality than the windows. We can't get one of them to stay open. It keeps shutting on its own. When I reached out to Andersen for a door, they said that they’d put me in touch with one of their dealers. A person from Exterior Home Improvement contacted us and seemed great over the phone. We got two screen doors and the pricing was good. It was the rolling screen that rolled back up. When the installers came out to do the work, the dates were messed up. They blamed Home Depot and Andersen. They had every little excuse. And when they finally showed up to do the work, there were holes and they did not do a great job. They didn't put the molding back up like they said they would.

Our doors started leaking and within the project, the contractor wrecked our wall. We had to call them multiple times to come back because the rain was coming into our house. We're very disappointed with them. They were very unprofessional. They said they resealed the door and it got fixed. But something about the way that they were moved to the old doors messed up the siding. It was a long back-and-forth and months of not having nice-looking doors. The inside of our house is a mess because of poor experience with them. But we love our doors now. We can roll the screen down easily and our daughter and dog can't hurt the screen because it's only on the top. We have that perfect airflow coming into our house.

Renewal by Andersen came out, talked to us about them and put us at ease. The price was quite a bit more expensive than others, but we did it in sections, four windows at a time. It took two months to get the windows. We were able to pick what we wanted exactly, and they made them to those specifications. They gave us dates and followed through, telling us when they would be there to install them.

It took us three different times to get all of the windows completed. The first two times, they came in a little early. The last time, they were here on the date they told us they would be. Each time we had the windows put in, we had a different person installing them. But the people that came out and talked to us were the same ones each time, and they did a fabulous job. It was more like a family type feeling. It wasn't just people working who had nothing to say. Everybody was very friendly. We got follow-up phone calls to make sure that their standards of quality and the niceness of the people were there, and they were.

We have two bay windows. There are four windows, floor to ceiling, on the front of the house. They even replaced the ones downstairs which was an unfinished basement. It was just stucco and concrete on the outside but they were able to replace those, and everything's been great. We like the quality of the materials. They are good, solid windows.

The sales group that came to my home and the installers were fantastic. People wouldn't even know the installers were here. They put stuff down when I came in, which I wouldn't have even objected if they hadn't, and they were totally no mess. They cleaned up from outside. The day before they came, I had a slider bathroom door that was giving me some trouble. The lock has never worked since the door was originally installed as well.

One of the installers went to use the bathroom and he came out and said, "You know, that doesn't close all the way." I said, "Yeah, that doesn't close all the way and it doesn't lock." The fella took a flashlight, looked up there, and in about two minutes, he had it fixed. It took him longer to go out to the truck to get a screwdriver and a flashlight. I hadn't had a chance to look at it, but I thought it was fantastic that he turned around and did that.

I purchased eight windows. They were double-hung and one that goes out like a tent. There was some kind blemish on one of the windows and my wife had to point that out to me, but that's getting replaced in November. Other than that, the quietness has been unbelievable. I'm on a main street, and my wife was even saying this morning, "Jeez, you don't hear the traffic at all. That was really bad what we had." I said, "Yeah, I know. It's probably why we lost our hearing over the years." It's also warmer to the point that I've had to open the windows to get some air into the room. It's not just because it's warm outside.

The windows have been that good, and the main reason I was doing it was because in the wintertime sometimes my drapes were getting to a point that I thought they were moving. I should have done it earlier. Renewal by Andersen was fantastic. I'm a safety officer for a fire department, and when I went into the firehouse, everybody knew I was getting them. They asked me how it was doing and I couldn't say enough about them.

Renewal by Andersen was in the neighborhood ‘cause they’d done some big jobs in here and there was a gentleman that went by when I was outside. It was Eric, a salesman, and he was a very nice young man. He offered to send somebody out. We talked and I told him I was widowed with limited funds. He was not high pressure. He said, “Let me give you some time.” He left, then he called me in about three days and I said, “Let's do it.” I see Renewal's commercials all the time, and I wasn't planning on it, but I've been having some trouble with my sliding door at the back. I had to figure the finances out ‘cause they are not cheap, and we were able to get a new patio sliding door in. The thing is I'm 81 years old, and that door is heavy. Other than that, it's great.

Renewal by Andersen's customer service was wonderful. They sent me notifications, and it was right on. Everything they said was just like the book said. They came in August and installed in November. The installers were great. They knew what they were doing and they went above and beyond. I didn't have the right color paint for the trim around the door, but that's okay. I paid somebody else to come and do that, 'cause there was a lot. I had vertical blinds, and once the installer cut the door in, the door was a little heavier. That threw my vertical blinds off. So, I had a vertical blind guy come out. Thank god I found these people. They were able to make the adjustment. It's all this little stuff people don't think about.

I'm waiting now. I've had a problem getting the wireless protector back on because my old door was wired for alarm. The new doors aren't wired, so I had to have somebody come out tomorrow to do that. We're getting it done. Overall, Renewal by Andersen is expensive, but they're quality. I’m excited for summer because I had a west-facing door, and if I had money, I would do two more windows. I'm in an area called Sun City Anthem, and the builder was very good. However, it was 18 years ago, so the materials are very different. I had solar screens on my old windows, and they knocked out about 90% of the heat and sun so I wouldn't get the fading. Now, I don't have to have that. I have a beautiful view and I'm curious to see what Renewal's windows will do when the sun's beating at 120. I don't have the money to do that now, but they say it's gonna knock out most of the heat.

He was very professional, very clean, well-dressed, and well-spoken. He knew the product line very well and helped us with different suggestions on how we could save money by going with the slider as opposed to double hung. He took some of his commission off to try to get our price. It was still more expensive than we thought it was gonna be. We did 12 months cash, so that helps. We got approved for that. We felt comfortable with Luke from the very start. He was straightforward and very personable. He was somebody I would like to have a beer with.

Installation team was fabulous. They took their time, and I wasn't as worried about how fast it got done. It took three to four days, which is fine with me. They worked hard. They were really polite. They helped me with some weather stripping. They were very informative about how to care for the windows. They were very informative how to the plastic off the windows. They took them off all the other ones, but I told them to leave them on the front porch and the back porch because we're getting a new ceiling put in those. They were meticulous, and again, they were people that I wanna spend time with because they're in your house and they were very careful with everything that we owned and covering it up, and we felt really comfortable with all of them.

So far, I haven't inspected every single window. We went around with them and we absolutely love them. It's 10 times over the contractor-grade windows that we had in the house. They're beautiful. They reminded us to wait three days before we open them and keep them locked for three days because the foam had to settle in. They talked to us about the care. The quality of it is amazing. I could tell from the way the window compared to the other one that we had. They explained to us how great they were. It was a great experience outside the three levels of dust that come into your house. Every window in the house got replaced, so it was covered in dust. But we knew that going in, so that was no problem.

I have an old house, and Consumer Reports and two other sources said there were only two companies that they would trust with an old house the age of mine, and Renewal by Andersen was one of them. The prices were fairly similar. They were within $5,000 of each other. When you're talking about that much money, $5,000 is nothing and I liked Renewal's guarantee, and the fact that they're a large company.

The sales representative was great. My sister was head of marketing at a big international corporation, and she told him, “Boy, you are good at this. Your delivery is good.” They talked for quite a while, and we really liked him. He was very knowledgeable and very nice. So, I was really happy with him. Installation was great. The team was wonderful. They were clean. They were efficient. They did a beautiful job. They all spoke English. They were very polite and very nice people. They were careful to pay attention to detail. I'm very detail-oriented. I've got really expensive antiques and nice pieces, and I know the difference in quality and crap. These guys did a great job.

So far, I like the quality of the products. I'm impressed with the initial quality. One of the things I did buy was a side door. The quality of the storm door where they ripped everything out and rebuilt it is outstanding. I've looked at a lot of doors. They did a great job on the installation, both on the storm door and the solid steel door itself. The windows appear to be good quality. I'm pleased with the way they look.

I've been very pleased with the whole process. The only thing that threw me was they told me it would be 12 weeks. But because the weather has been good here, it was fine. In some parts of the country, you can't get into the end of October and the 1st of November and be able to do anything. In Colorado, they've got 2 ft. of snow and 12 degrees. So, it depends on what area you live in. I would recommend Renewal shorten up the time. Instead of 12 weeks, they need to do this in eight weeks. I didn't change my mind, but I know people can, and they get frustrated with it. 12 weeks from sales to installation is a long time. It's about a quarter of a year.

I thought, "Why pay more money for the same quality?" I purchased windows and doors from them. The products look great. I was told that it was gonna take three months for them to get made. But it took slightly over one month, which is great because I was expecting my windows to be done end of November, the beginning of December. They did an outstanding job and they exceeded my expectations.

We used Renewal by Andersen before on two other occasions. We had a casement window for a large window in our laundry room and then we had three doors also. The sales presentation was informative and it hit all the spots that we were looking for. They definitely were able to meet and match our expectations. The installation guys were very professional. There were two teams, one team for the window and one team for the doors. Much like they did with the other times we had Renewal by Andersen here, they were top-notch, efficient, and a pleasure to have inside our abode. They were great to work with.

We had a couple of screens from the earlier installations we had with Renewal by Andersen in 1997. They took care of some screens from that installation because it puts little tears on the screens. The second project was the new doors on the back patio. They are exterior storm doors, and there were the screens that were inserts. They re-screened all of those four inserts for us. It was warranty work for them to keep us happy and satisfied, which they did. You get what you pay for with Renewal by Andersen. We got top quality product and we paid a reasonable price for that.

The workman that we had was very knowledgeable and personable. He told us what to expect, talked us through every step, and left it a state cleaner than when they got here. I love the quality. I've got the rep coming back, where we have two more windows to do and we're going with the same program again. Renewal by Andersen sent me a coupon in the mail, and the pictures of the work that they would be able to do looked really good. Also, it had $800 off of some of the work. I got doors. I had enclosed the garage several years ago and put two big doors on, but I didn't have a way to get in and out without using the big doors. So, they cut me a small door off of my porch that would let me go into the garage just by opening up a door. Then they put my new French doors and replaced all the trim around it because it had rotted from rain. They gave me a couple of weeks for the doors to be made because they were fully metal doors. They also took all the measurements. I let them know I was going on a trip so it needed to happen after I came back. I talked with them at the end of July. My trip was at the end of August. When I got back, they started working on it in the first part of September.

The installers were amazing. They did such good work and cleaned up before and during and after. They said they would arrive at 9:00 a.m., and they were on the dot. There were five guys on the first day because they had to cut open the siding, the framework, and the garage. They took down the French doors, the trim all around it, my encasement and everything on the French doors. Then they got everything replaced. They closed it back up with wood. So, they worked through that whole day.

The next day, they came back and did all the work. They brought siding that matched my house and the trim to work with the front porch part. My house is brick, and parts of it have siding. So, they brought the wood. They then put my own trim back up to modify it for the inside of the French doors. They were punctual. They were very nice and polite. They had a truck with a trailer that they backed up. They left the trailer that night, but they asked me if it was okay if that was left. It was a closed-end one, and that was fine in my driveway.

I love the doors. They're really good. They matched it to my color inside my house and outside the house, so that looked really good. My husband's a quadriplegic. They put the doorknob on there but I ordered an iRobot because that way, we could use our phones to unlock it and lock it back up. They left the openings for that. When I got that one, my daughter and I installed it and set it up. The guy who came out and gave us the estimate even gave me his card and said that he'd just be able to come back and do that for us when it arrived.

My husband, from his hospital bed, can open that door to let home help and the nurses come in instead of having to raise up a whole big door and leave that open. So, I really like the way they did it. Everything is really good. Everybody that I worked with and talked with did excellently. The company had a payment program that I could use, and I have 24 months that I can pay it with no interest at all. So, that's what I'm doing and I love that. If I go over the 24 months, then an interest would start. I get a text every now and then on the 1st of each month. It says that my contract that I have with them for this is good till September something of 2026. I have an app on my phone, and it shows me what I owe. If you don't do that, half is due when they come and at the completion of it, they give you a time, and the other half is due then. But since I did the plan with them, I'm paying every month.

Twelve years ago Renewal by Andersen replaced my windows in our first house. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the windows but the crew that installed them. When it came time to replace our big picture window in the house, I immediately thought of them. I had to call them, and they sent a representative out. He was excellent. Just like the first time, he was very knowledgeable, showed us everything that they could offer. These things are way more expensive than other places. But they're worth it. I was surprised.

The installers told me when they would be here and they were here. Right from the get-go, they told me how long they thought it would go. I've been employed in construction. I know unforeseen things happen. Thankfully, they didn't run into any problems. Fourteen years ago when they ran into a problem with a couple of the windows at our house, it was an easy fix for them. It didn't slow them down. They just said, "This is what we're gonna do." They did it. When they were finished, I didn't even know they were here.

The window was put in. They cleaned up. I shook hands with all three of the guys that were here. Beautiful job. It looked fantastic. My wife she walked out to check from the outside to see how it looked. She saw something that looked wet, so she touched it. It was caulking, and she put a dent in it. She told me about it. I went out thinking if I took my finger and went over the little dent, it would fix it. I ended up making it worse. I jumped on the phone and called the number I had. The rep said, "I just got ahold of the installers. They're already on another job." They said, "We'll be there within two days." Sure enough, I received a phone call, and they were there. They repaired it. It wasn't a big job but it showed how much they took responsibility. They fixed up my mess.

We originally heard about Renewal by Andersen in their ads and my husband was aware of their company history. The house was built in 1920 and the woman who lived here before had original Andersen Windows. My husband did a lot of research and we tried them. Andersen is a beautiful window. When we had the first floor and the second floor done, we had the same team come out. The clean-up and installation were perfect. Each set of windows upstairs and downstairs took a whole day. This last set was just a bow window and we put in a regular two-window replacement.

The original owner had windows that cranked out. So, we have now replaced them with encasement and sliders. We needed the siding done on the house also. We called another company to do it but there was not even a comparison when we looked at the quality of the window and material. We decided to just get the Andersen window and then do the siding three weeks later. We had to wait for another opening. Then, we left the big window in the dining room to do, which was what we just did.

The windows are excellent. They are easy to clean and easy to go up and down too. We've never had the reps even come out to do any type of repair adjustment. Once they're in, they're in. Every year and a half, we've addressed a set of windows and it's been about three years we've been working on that. The team from Renewal has been wonderful. We've got the same representative who is very knowledgeable and has always given us options on how to pay for things. The estimate is good for a year. For what you're getting for your money, it's worth that little bit more incentive. You could have your whole house done by one company and pay a little bit less and have all the windows replaced at the same time, but they're not quality. This was the selling part of our house when we bought it.

We put what I always thought were crap windows in to start with and I've always heard good things about Andersen Windows. We came in and talked to the salesperson for a few minutes, and we liked what we heard and invited him to come out and look. It was a very smooth, nice process. We liked what he had to say and the price was doable for us, although we took out a loan for part of it. It's nice that they do the whole product and installation so they’re the only ones we have to deal with if we do have an issue. We had confidence in what we saw when we came down to initially check and it’s been a good experience so far.

The reps were very friendly and respectful. We got there about lunchtime and as they came back, they saw us standing and asked if they could help us. We said we've got a person who's checking something for us. Everybody was very personable, professional, friendly, and helpful if we needed them to be. So, the staff was great. And the installers were quick, professional and nice.

I like the looks of the windows. We got a door put in too and we love that. We’ve only had them in for about two months now but they're performing as advertised. It's a great product and it looks nice. You can almost feel the quality in it. Compared to what was there, it’s unbelievably night and day difference. You would always like the price to be a little lower. You pay for what you get. Sometimes, you pay a lot and you don't get anything. But this, you do. I thought that what was quoted was gonna be even higher than what they were able to get it to because the different selections you make vary a little bit and so does the price. But we're happy with what we got.

We had Renewal by Andersen before the pandemic hit and we weren't able to finish off the rest of the house. They made their rounds again and we needed to finish up. We got bedroom windows for the kids, front windows in the living room and finished off with a slider. They did one slider before the pandemic along with the front windows and then, they did the back slider and a bunch of other windows. I love the windows. Otherwise, we'd have been ticked off and getting rid of the ones they did in the first job. It’s a pretty penny though and it hurts. Hopefully, we won't have to call them anymore. But we’re gonna get another slider in probably two more years and we'll be calling them again. We want everything to match.

The installation was incredible. When the installers told us what they were gonna do, I couldn’t envision it because when we got a slider off of our dining room, that looked impossible. But they just got it done. Leave it to the pros. They were in and out in two days, which was what they said the replacement would take. Everything's clean. They were good guys, answered a lot of questions and would take a lot of time with you if you didn't know what you were doing because they had plenty of latches on them. They would make sure you know what you're doing so, everything's good to go by the time they leave. The experience was top-notch. I like it all.

I had Andersen Windows for a while where I lived. I was satisfied with the product. The only thing is I had to call the contractor back a week later after the door was installed. We had a terrific rainstorm here. I got some water on half of the inside left track. Both of those on the edge of the door are all clear. Nothing blocked them. But there was no water over there. Just at the inside. The contractor couldn't answer. He said, “That sometimes may happen. And if you have any issues, give them a call again. They'll notify you guys.” I don't understand how could that be a normal option for that expensive door, to have the possibility of water coming in close to the outside, the inside track. Half the track. Not even the whole track. It's not normal to me.

We didn't have that much rain to generate any problem like that initially. But I always look because I don't want any water buildup on the inside track. No water inside the house. I got those two at each end of the doorway to let the water in case I get anything. But no buildup of water, half the track on the left side only. That's unusual. Andersen Windows said, “Maybe it's clogged, that little thing on the door.” I said, “How could that be clogged? The door was installed last week. And I don't see anything on the inside. And only half the track.” The contractor checked. The door was level. Other than that, the door works fine. I open and close it. It locks and it's secure.
