The salesperson who came to the house was very helpful and guided us to the door we truly wanted. What we thought we wanted wasn’t really what we needed and he patiently helped us make our perfect choice. The installers were polite, clean and did an amazing job and ensured that our new door was perfect in all ways. I’m already thinking of other projects for Renewal By Andersen.

Wanted windows with something other than Vinyl, I live in KS. Renewal by Andersen uses Fibrex, sounded like a good product. The double hung windows function as advertised. The slider windows howl and rattle. The sliding glass door will need to be replaced before I sell the house as my six year old granddaughter is unable to open by herself. It appears to have been mis-measured and forced in during install. Service has been out twice for the window installation – The installer had the window trim flowing water back into the window instead of flowing it away.

That is the problem with Renewal by Andersen. A sales rep sells you the windows, the windows are manufactured by X, and the installers are independent contractors – trained by Andersen?? All in all, not a pleasant experience. Support has been to my house twice, sliding glass door still requires too much force to open, my slider window still howls during strong wind. Hard to give a good rating when I was left with a product that must be replaced prior to selling my house.

We got eight slide-by windows and a big bay window with a slide on each end. The installation team arrived on a Monday and were done by 10 o'clock on Wednesday. We had Andersen windows in the house. They were slides, but there was only one slide that slid one way. These new windows have slides on both sides and they'll slide either way. The ones we had weren't the greatest. I put plastic on the windows every year because you could stand there and feel the cold air in the winter coming in. Looking forward to see what it's like in the summer now.

We had four, top to bottom, windows put in by Renewal by Andersen. And then we had two crank-out, one is triple window, and then one is two. Our previous windows were Andersen. We like the quality of it and how they lasted so long. They did the installation really quickly. The rep I dealt with was very friendly. He came on a Saturday because we weren't able to do it during the week. So, it was really convenient for us for him to come. He walked through all the rooms and he even noted a newer window that we had in one room and said that being that it's newer, it had the same tint as the other ones that we were getting. He suggested not to replace that one because it was newer than the other ones that we did have. He measured everything, did a quick measurement, and picked out exactly what we wanted. He was very nice.

I run a daycare out of my home. So I was very nervous about having holes in my walls for a few hours. And the gentlemen that came for the installation were amazing. I asked them to do the play room where the children sleep first, and one of the bedrooms so I could just move them from the area that they'd be installing later on. They got everything done. The bedroom was done and all put back together. It was nice and neat and clean. There were kids that kept saying hello to them 100 times until they said hello back, and they were great and would say hi to them back. They came early in the morning, and then when the children woke up from nap, they were wrapping it up and they were all done. So, it was a very smooth day. There was no mess, too. In my son's room, it is really hard to maneuver around things, and they left it exactly how I had it. They did great.

The windows are amazing. They're so pretty. I took the screens out for a while because it's nice to look through the glass itself. My other ones were about 20 years old, so it's not different quality. And this one has a little bit of tint on it. So, they're nice and clean windows. They had to put some frames around some of them. So, I'm glad they were able to do all that because I can't figure all that out.

RBA had done some work for me eight years ago. I was very pleased with their work, so I went back to them. They also offered me zero interest financing. The rep I worked with, Frank, was very professional and explained everything. There was no rush. His crew was great. My girlfriend was impressed by their cleanup. I like the way Frank walked me through everything that would be happening and what was expected. I'm very pleased with the windows. Having had installation before, it was of equal quality. It was good workmanship.

There was only one thing that was not top-notch. The scheduling to get it done took longer than I thought. There was a period of three or four months where I never heard from anyone as to when they were gonna install it. But except for that, there were two or three visits by estimators. Because it's an 1860-something house in a city, and it's got some unique characteristics that this wasn't your normal suburban installation.

Renewal by Andersen took care of the whole process. We finalized our order of windows in July and they were installed at the end of January. We had about 12 of them put in, most of which were slides with one or two double-hung. The installation went very smooth. The crew laid out their mats, moved whatever they needed to move, and put their drop cloths out. They did an excellent job of keeping things clean and being very respectful of the home. Everybody that was at our house was very easy to work with and communication was good. Also, the windows seem to be very good quality. We were a little concerned with it being a sliding window but these appear to be well built and built to last. I would recommend Andersen to anybody that needed to do this process and I would go to them again for window replacement.

I got double hung windows, two picture windows, and several of the smaller ones for two bedrooms, the living room, and the sun room. I worked with Mitch who came to the house and gave me the estimate. He was excellent. He answered questions and was very helpful. The installers were wonderful, too. I called the lead guy New Jersey but his name was Trenton. The house was cleaner when they left than it was when they came. They were fast and they worked steadily through the two days that they were there. So far, I like the windows that I got. They're lovely and the wind doesn't come whistling through anymore. They were worth every penny, but the price was an awful lot.

We were told the replacement would take a day but we were done in about six hours. The guys cleaned up after themselves and everything went smoothly. They just did what they had to do. They kept the house clean and they cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job. We love the windows. We got the bay window for our dog so that he'd have a perch to sit and watch outside. They answered all my questions and gave me a variety of options. It was a very complete presentation. They were here in July and it was a five-plus-month waiting period. But I kind of expected that. We just got a window, but we've replaced doors before. Everything in our house is Andersen. The installers were in and out within a couple of hours. I'm retired, so I was here when they put the window in. They were here around 8:30 and by 12 o'clock they were gone. It was a big, good-sized window that they had to take out and then put the new one in as well. So, it was no small task to get that done, but the two guys were very efficient.

I like the quality of the product. We've never had any issues once we've done that. It was four individual windows that were put together. The option that we have is that we have a big picture window in the middle and then a couple of smaller windows on each side. We live on a lake and it faces the lake. So it opened up our view. When we all walked in, it was like we were standing outside now. So it was nice that we had some different options of ways we could go with it and we're very pleased with the options that were presented and the decision we made on that.

Be aware that ordering an entry door you do not routinely get a fibrex product despite aggressive television marketing suggesting otherwise. You do not actually get an Andersen product. Instead, you get a Provia door. While not necessarily a bad product, unlike the windows, this is not an Andersen product and the basic models are made of fingerjointed wood. And if you are looking for a model design on the Andersen site, these are not necessarily options available to you by Renewal. Be aware that Renewal products including Provia are among the most expensive out there.

We asked a lot of questions, we were able to physically look at and handle the materials/products, we were able to discuss price points and what was in our budget. After our talk, we decided on our product choices and knew what the cost would be.

We were told it would take approx. 2 months for our order/materials to arrive. We were notified within a month to expect our order delivery the week of Feb 12. And right at 2 months, the week promised, we were notified that our order was in and being verified/inventoried. The following week, the installation team asked when we were available. The job took 2 days, the Master Installer and his crew were awesome! We've had Andersen Windows in our house for 30 years. I liked the quality, but we had issues with the third party installation which I was very disappointed in. It took eight months to get the door, and the door showed up but it was broken. They shipped it back out again, and we got another one. It was the wrong door. It was a hassle. That's not Andersen, but it was almost like they stepped away. They didn't do anything about it. That was more disappointing to us because we've been loyal to them for 30 years. We have a 6,000 square foot home with all Andersen Windows, all Andersen hardware.

We got the door in and two weeks later, the seal around the door popped off. It’s a brand new $9,000 door. Why is the seal popping off at the bottom? Was the threshold a little rough where he sanded it down and now it moves smoothly? The quality was decent. But it was the ordering and the installation. And the third party didn't offer any type of discount, didn't do anything. It sucked. It was rough. And the seal underneath the old door that we waited to replace leaked and had air coming through it. We tried to get the door fixed before the rainy season, because we live in Oregon. It was a hassle.

They damaged the door that's in there now. They damaged the threshold at the bottom. They put a hole in it. But they had already installed it. It took all day to install this door, so we had to wait a month to see what they would do about the threshold. That was when Andersen came out. They sanded it down. They Bondoed it or put sealant on it, sanded it, smoothened it out, and they left. They came back in three weeks and painted it. It doesn't look bad, but we accepted a damaged door. It was everything compounded. That made my experience with Andersen Windows and this third party not up to par.

If they were, “You know what, for your hassle,” 5%, 10% discount. It didn't have to be enough, but they should have tried to make it right instead of just trying to pacify us until they got the job done. It was ridiculous. But the guy that came out and installed the door was a very nice gentleman. When I pointed out the threshold was damaged, he was broken hearted. He said, “Oh, my God. We spent all day on this.” He was concerned.

My concern is with the actual company that I ordered the door from. Because Andersen subcontracts their stuff out to get installed. The guy I ordered the door from is the guy I had an issue with, because he wouldn't respond. I would call, and it would be like I was inconveniencing him. “Dude, I just paid $8,000, $9,000 for this door. Why am I inconveniencing you?” And I didn't get updates on when the door was coming. It was ridiculous. When the door showed up and when the first door was wrong, he made it seem like it was no big deal. I'm patient. But it got to the point where I lost my patience with him.

I had to replace my windows that were installed almost 30 years ago. When we talked to the salesman, he was a nice guy. He told us that the installers are regular employees. They don't subcontract. That was the selling point. Because when you buy from somebody and they subcontracted out, then if you have a problem, it's not their problem. It's the installer's problem. There were 10 windows that we replaced. All of my windows were Andersen windows.

The installers were pretty quick. We were told that it would be probably a two-day job. They had a crew of four. They could have done it in one day. But on the first day, we had a crew of two. They did four windows. The second day, they had four people there. But it was a little more complicated. There was a window up on the roof that they had to somehow climb up on to install. So, all told, it wasn't two eight-hour days. They were at my house for about six hours at the most. They did nice work. They were efficient. I like the quality of the windows. I like the fact that they are wood. Two of the windows were vinyl clad on the inside and those were very nice. But the rest of my house, it's wood. So I've got some work to do on them. I had two double hung windows done at the same time. One was in my kitchen and one was directly upstairs over the kitchen. And they were replacement windows. It was a big job. But I was amazed that the Renewal by Andersen installers took the old ones out and had the new ones in. They're very good about keeping their areas clean, putting down tarps, so they wouldn't trample on carpets. They worked as a team.

The quality is excellent. I opted to get the kind that tip in so you can clean them. That's a genius idea. Because especially on a second story up myself upstairs, I'm 81 years old, and I'm not about to get up on a ladder to try to clean that window. I made mistakes because I opted to get just wood and I would paint them, on the two big windows. Knowing more about it than I do, I wish I had the two double hung for the bedroom and kitchen clad in metal because I wouldn't have to paint them. And I would recommend to anybody to not paint them themselves. Why should they do that much extra work? I've had very good service from them.

We agreed on a price. They said it was four to eight weeks, and it was like six weeks, the window was in, and it was no problem. We did financing with them. We're very happy with it. It looks nice. They did a nice job with the trim on the inside and outside.

It was truthful of what they say on the commercials. They came in, they were knowledgeable, they knew what they were doing. It was a quick, easy process. Windows are expensive. We always like them to be more affordable, but we were very happy with the product in the end. And we're very happy with the whole experience.

He was great to listen to what I wanted without pressuring me to purchase windows from Renewal by Andersen or try to upsell me their most expensive windows I could not afford or want. He looked at all of our windows and showed us some of the benefits of Renewal by Andersen windows versus the ones that we had installed. He showed us how poorly the ones that we had were installed in there, and we said, “These guys seem like professionals.” We went with them, and installation was a breeze. There was a little hiccup the first time ‘cause there was a bit of miscommunication between myself and our rep. However, he took good care of us, and everything went really well. Everyone did a really great job, and they were really kind and explained what was happening and when. We got a new door installed in the back and we got a bunch of windows installed throughout the house, and they've been really nice.

Everyone was very helpful the whole time when they came over to look at the windows and see which ones we wanted replaced. Also, the installers were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. I also liked that the estimate that they gave us was the estimate at the end as well. There were no hidden charges or fees.

We ended up getting five windows. Renewal by Andersen matched them to the previous windows that we had already replaced. So, it was nice because they look very similar so people couldn't tell the difference. I’m happy with how they came out in terms of not feeling drafts anymore. It holds the heating better. They're made to last. I highly recommend them. I told my uncle about it. He said, “Those are some really great windows. They're the best you can get.” I made a good decision.

When we needed to replace the windows, my husband suggested to go with Andersen Windows since we like those so well out in our farm home. The contractor was easy to deal with. We appreciated him from the get-go. There was no high pressure. When the two windows came in, one of them was damaged. They called and told us they needed to put it back two or three weeks when they would come for the installation. We appreciated the fact that they waited to get one that wasn't damaged.

The crew that came was amazing. They were coming two days before we were getting overnight guests from out of state. I told them the last thing I wanted was to be in a mess. They said they'd have it done and cleaned up easily in one day. It didn't even take the full day. They did it so quickly and cleaned everything up. They kept my husband informed on what they were doing and how much longer it would take. They were so careful not to damage anything near the windows. We were very happy. We like our windows. It was very high-priced, but it's worth it. We have tremendously low temperatures like 40 below wind chill since they've been in. Before, we could feel the air coming through and the curtains were moving. We didn't see any of that now that the windows have been replaced.

All the caulking had to be redone. It was smeared all over the window frames and walls with fingers by an untrained installer. Window did not close/slide properly. New team had to come out and take all the caulking out and redo. The other windows I had done in my house were the same but by a different company and cost $2200 each instead of the $10,000 initial charge of the same window. The 50% coupon you get in the mail means that they double the price that they would normally charge when they start the price calculations. At least they were quick to make it right.

I can't help but wonder what else was not done correctly that I am unable to see. The head installer told me I had to clean the adhesive off the window frames myself. It's so obvious that a fast job was more important than a good job. After the sale it was difficult to get a reply from the salesman both by phone and by e-mail. The same salesman that told me he was trying to win a trip to the Bahamas based on sales. I think this type of business philosophy makes repeat business unlikely since the salesman is doing what's best for himself rather than the customer.

What a major disappointment in purchasing replacement windows from Andersen. It's a Minnesota based company so I assumed they understood cold weather. I ordered four double sung slider windows and a patio door for over $17000. Our old windows leaked causing moisture and ice to build up on the inside windows so figured the new windows would solve the problem. After the new windows and door were installed, the first cold weather hit and our new windows and door ended up with the same moisture and ice problem as our old windows. I contacted Andersen support and they said my humidity level was too high. It was nothing to do with their windows. I guess dried out cracked skin and a super dry humidity level is that answer to keeping Andersen windows and doors from collecting moisture. Might be time to get some window insulator kits to cover my Andersen windows with plastic. Biggest waste of money in my lifetime.

When we had our windows done, I had three different companies come and Andersen was by far the most expensive. They weren't even comparable. Three of our windows replaced were Andersen Windows that we did through them. We had a lot of problems with the installation. We were stuck using them because we were matching existing wooden windows. We had one come with a sash that the lock mechanism had stripped screws. It was broken. It was a mess. I was unimpressed. We had to have that window completely redone, and then they sent it here unstained. So the stain hasn't been matched and our installers had to match it on the fly, and they were in a hurry. It's okay now, but I wouldn't use Andersen again.

The installation guys sided two houses for me before, and I love them. They did a good job. One guy mis-measured one of the windows, and that was not Andersen's fault. But we waited forever for those windows to come in. The other window was sent to us broken and that was on Andersen. We paid a lot of money for those windows. It was a seven-month process which was utterly ridiculous.

Andersen have all these TV ads with all these big sales and they promised things. I asked the Andersen salesman that came about the sales. He said, “Well, no. We aren't doing that.” I told him, “Well, I see it on TV every day. So you're not gonna honor that?” But he said, “Well, no, because you have to have a certain this and a certain that.” Their commercial is bait and switch false advertising.

And the sales guy did not pressure us into purchasing one or the other. But then we decided to go with the same type of style with the other windows in the house and we're happy we did. The Andersen reps were here in October and we didn't have the window put in until December. They had to order it and we had to wait until November for it to arrive. Then they told me it was going to be one week after Thanksgiving, on a Monday.

On that day, I was waiting and the installer never showed up. He also did not let me know ahead of time that he wasn't coming. So I called him and he apologized. He said that it was too cold and too wet. In the end, the guy was very clean in the way he worked and he did it in several hours. But he came back the next day to caulk it and to stain the window. So, it was fairly quick. I thought it would take longer, but he finished it faster than I thought he would. He was very good and meticulous. So far, we like the window very much and we don't feel any drafts. We had another one put in our back window before and the same thing happened. I would highly recommend Renewal by Andersen. Things did not go smoothly for my installation!!! Brad my second salesman was good but with every sales, with me, it's always the expensive. That's just my feelings, but I believe I bought the best windows on the market. Then came the guy who was sent out to measure the window openings. I still do not believe he knows how to read a tape measure!!! When the window installers came out, the first time, the windows were too small!!! Frank, the boss, agreed!!! I was told by the two salesmen and Andersen Windows commercial that the windows would fit "Precisely" into the window opening!!! I had them install my bay window, 'cause installers said, it would be the same size as the bay window they took out. It was not, it was smaller!!!

While they were installing my new bay window they trampled my azalea bushes, totally destroying one. This led to the boss Frank, and other installers to come out and fix the problem best they could, with a smaller bay window!!! They also remeasured the window openings again, 3 times now. Telling me that the new windows they will order will fit with no more than 1/4" gap!!! I texted Frank the boss, please do not bring back the same windows. Melissa finally called and said they were ready to install windows. The installers came out and did the job, the best they could, with what they had to work with. I personally feel that they were the same windows!!! I have pictures !!! of 1'st install and final install. Same size gap to me and smaller than the ones they took out!!!

I must confess: I feel I paying for foam installation!!! In all but one window. Yes, I gave a rating of 9, because Frank the boss & josh, the lead installer, told me "This is how we do it"!!! I feel they are good guys having to do a job with what they have to work with!!! The window they put into my bathroom has something on it or in it. During daylight hours you can barely see it, but at night, with the bathroom light on and black outside. It is clearly visible. Frank, the boss, said I could have a new sash / window. I will call Andersen Windows for it!!! If I can not clean it off. I truly wish I could write / say everything is great but that is not how I personally feel / know!!! Now I wonder if anyone is going to "Care" or read this!!! Josh was great!!! Along with the rest of the second crew of installers. Overall I would "Not" give Andersen Windows a 9, the way they do business. Their windows are not what they promise!!! Precisely fit!!!

He’s part owner of the company, and he seemed straight to us.

We told them, “We don't want you here. We don't want your crew to get sick.” So, they put off, but they still got it done before it got cold out. It was chilly that day, but it was good. They were good about getting out here. The people who put the door in could have been a little neater. There was some caulking we found later after they had left. It was on our refrigerator. It was nothing really catastrophic. So far, so good. We’re satisfied.

I was very disappointed about that because they pulled off the job and told me they were not sure they would be back by February. It might even be as late as March. It all depends when the doors are finished and they would come back out and finish staining a woodwork around the doors and install the new doors.

I don't like the whole process of the financing. I've been told that the financing is not one and the same as the Andersen Windows. Andersen Windows doesn't do the financing or take care of any of that. It's farmed out to this Renewal by Andersen group. The company that does the installation and signs, the contracts is one company. And they use a finance company to handle the claim, which for us is a lot of money. It's $150,000. Make sure you know what you're getting into with the financing because I wasn't aware of it. I just wasn't paying attention. I thought Renewal by Andersen was Renewal by Andersen. It's two separate companies. So, I was taken aback a bit.

The people that handle the financing are some young, very polite ladies that are working out of their house because I could can hear the dog barking in the background and the baby crying. When I tried to negotiate some of this stuff with them, they were not at liberty to do that. They have somebody else call me back to talk to me. So, it's an awkward situation. And on top of that, the guys that did the installing have been here. They know what the house looks like. They know how we operate, how the whole system works. Those ladies have no idea even where we were at.

The other thing is I didn't have any choice to negotiate with Renewal on any of this. It was set in concrete and that's it, over and done with. And Andersen had nothing to do with the financing. Maybe that's how they want it. They didn't have anything to do with the financing. All they had to do was the installation. Ours is a nice home and the windows all had to be made and shipped in. It's not like something came off the rack or something like you go to the hardware store and pull a window down. And what they had to do, which I wasn't even aware of was they would have to change all the windows in our house to match the new windows. Our house is 15 years old and even though the windows were Andersen Windows, there was no match to them. All the windows on our property had to be changed out. But out of 25 to 30 windows, eight of them needed to be replaced.

My experience with the installers was also great, probably the best I have ever had. I would recommend these to anyone looking to replace windows. Another great feature is that they do not need to cut your stucco...so the process is very neat.

In one day, the team replaced 9 windows and a 9’+ door, very impressive. After the installation they explained how the windows and door operate. The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. I don't think there is anything that could be improved. The workmanship is superb and the quality of the material is top notch. We are very satisfied with the work and product. We have had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen to anyone for window and door replacement! Thanks so much!

Their customer "service" is the WORST! I bought a sliding glass door from them less than six months ago and today it is RAINING in MY HOUSE. I called them immediately only to be told I couldn't 'be found' in their computer. Huh? They sent me the weather stripping the installer "forgot" to put on so....what's with that. Their best suggestion today, after being ripped off by the contractor for the screen door which he never delivered, was that I pay someone else to reinstall the door. Look, the door itself is beautiful, I love it. But they do not stand behind the work done by the contractors they send to your house. In fact, they try to tell you they never sent you anyone at all. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I needed to replace my old wood windows that rotted out and were beyond repair. One side of the room was north-facing and not protected. Those were rotten. I had some local contractors come and give me estimates. They were mainly dealing with vinyl windows. The third vendor who came out had both the vinyl windows and Andersen. He told me about the Andersen windows being made of wood pulp and not entirely plastic. That was an appealing point from an environmental point of view that it's not using as much fossil fuels to make my windows. Plus the windows that I was replacing are a pretty big span. For the strength that was promised, I chose Andersen. I liked the different material, the fabrics, and having that recycled wood in there. Andersen was a little more expensive than most of the polyvinyl quotes, but it was not the most expensive quote I got.

The installation crew came mid-afternoon and went to work. They sounded happy. I watched a little bit and they seemed to know what they were doing. The operation of the window was self-explanatory. I went to the contractor's showroom so I knew how those windows were working. I waited two days after the installation before trying to open the windows. I could hear the wind whistling. They weren't aligned properly or they shifted as the foam expanded. This left me a little question about how that installation actually went. I took some pictures and sent them to the contractor. He sent his foreman out to do some adjustments and he was clearly okay with adjusting both of them.

I had two windows and both of them had one panel that wasn't set straight. It didn't close and it didn't lock. He fixed that. But with the other one, I had to tell him many times, "It's not an easy push to make it lock." Finally, he adjusted that one too. They're all set and lined up. That aside, we are happy that it's a slider and it's not the crank-out. That's great for us.

Check out Andersen and see if that works for your window style and for your purpose. One thing that's not on these windows that maybe the other window had was a lock like on a patio door where you can lock it open just an inch or two. We didn't have that option with our new windows. I'll have to devise something if that's something that I wanna do. Every window has a different look and aesthetics. Mine look good.

I started a bit of research on windows. Renewal by Andersen was on the higher end, but I found that as far as the positivity from the people who had the windows installed and the construction part of them, they were top tier. They met or exceeded everything that I had read. They were on top of everything. We were at a local thing that was up at our local fairgrounds. There were a lot of vendors and people selling stuff and I happened to pass by them, got to talk with them and set up an appointment for somebody to come out and talk to us, and it went from there. We ended up going with the slider windows. Our house is a little over 20 years old and we've always had the grid look inside of them. We wanted a more open look.

The rep was a top-notch man. If he happened to come through the town that I live in, he made it a point to call and made sure that everything went on schedule and if there was anything that he could do. He called me a couple of times after we spoke and we decided what windows we wanted to replace in our house. He was awesome.

My wife and I were working on the days that it would be nice outside and the installers wanted to schedule it that day, and I told them that I couldn't do it that day. I apologized. And they were, "No, it's not a problem." I said, "We're free on this day." It was on a weekend. We hoped to do it on a weekday, but my wife ended up having to go into work and take some classes that day even though she was off. But they were no problem with it.

A crew of four guys showed up on a Saturday when it was chilly. They told us it would take a bit longer since it was a crew of four guys. But they knocked it out four hours earlier than what they said it would take them. They were awesome. You can measure windows, but when you take a window out, you might not get the exact measurement. But they knew what they were doing.

When they ran into a bit of a problem with the framing of the house that the window went into, they took care of it. We had one of our main windows in the front of our house that didn't want to go in, even the other two did that we had ordered, and they went above and beyond to make sure that they fit and everything looked clean when it was done. They made sure that the windows were nice and level. They laid out tarps and had vacuums. I was thoroughly impressed with them. They were super nice. We're gonna have more put in and I've already requested through RBA that I want that crew back.

What we decided to do was our front part of our house and it's completely a 180 compared to the way that it was. The main couch that my wife and I sit on is a recliner and it sits in the front of our house by big windows. I remember every year, especially in wintertime, it was so cold. Now, I had to pull the curtains back and touch the windows. The back of my head isn't cold. Even through the curtains, the old windows that we had where we could feel the cold. The front of our house faces the north. So, during the wintertime, we get that north wind and it would be super cold there. It's impressive. Everything that RBA said about their windows is 100% true. I've already recommended them to several people.

Their salesperson contacted me after I reached out to agree to set a time for them to come over to our house to discuss what we were looking to do. We had that meeting and we talked through the choices, the options, all the stuff. We agreed to move forward and they contacted me 60 days later once the windows were ready to install. The windows came earlier than we expected. The installation was quick and they worked efficiently. There were 13 windows that they were able to remove and replace within a day and they were really clean and courteous. We're impressed that they got it done in a day and left almost no trace. Now that the windows are installed, it's like a whole new view into our backyard. Before, we said we're looking through a jail cell and now, we can actually see through the window. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

I purchased 2 new 4-panel Series A sliders for a home I was building. I had a relatively simple question on the installation process on the hardware. After many calls with customer support, they could not provide any assistance over and above the instructions that came with the sliders. No one at Andersen knew anything about the hardware installation except what they read off the installation instructions. I paid $10k for each slider and felt that someone at Andersen could have a little more helpful. Very disappointed with Andersen.

We had two windows put in through Renewal by Andersen and the installers that we had were really good. They also finished on time. Then we called back and said we wanted two more windows and a patio door. The rep came over, explained everything, and talked about all the different options. He showed us the different areas that would be affected and how that would be nice for us. He did a great job and we are looking forward to having everything installed. The folks also let us know when to look forward to things, though the dates have not yet been set. As soon as we get the installation done, we'll be calling back and see if they can also work with our daughter. From a cost point of view, we felt comfortable with our purchase and we appreciated the plan that they offered. We also appreciate the fact that we didn't have to do the replacement all at one time and that we could take our time in doing things. That was very helpful.

I had five windows installed this first round, but I'm doing a total of 10. The new windows are awesome. I love them. The only hiccup that I had was when the guys came down to install them, that was the first time I heard about the installation team. I'm glad I was able to get off work that day. Somebody dropped the ball and called me. She was telling me the windows were done and scheduling the install date.

The rep was good. She seemed to know the product when she came out and did the demonstration. She had a heat lamp that she put on the other side of the window, then she did the same thing with our windows and we could tell a big difference. Renewal by Andersen then had a second guy come out that double-checked her measurements, which was cool. He seemed to know the product as well.

I redid all the windows in my house. The guys showed up when they said they were gonna show up, and at first, they told me it was gonna be two days to install the windows, but they got them all installed in one day. They beat the timeline, and they just came back the second day to finish up some minor trim work. Also, one of the installers noticed a flaw in one of the windows and I didn't see it, but he still told me about it. They're making me a new window to bring out to replace that window. That was awesome. Overall, the quality of the windows is good. The windows ran about $2,200 a piece if we average out the cost that I paid for the 11 windows. The price might be a little high, but this is my forever home. I don't plan on moving anywhere, so I don't mind spending a little extra money.

Renewal by Andersen has a good reputation. It was getting to the point where I needed to replace the windows, so I started paying attention to that. And I was positively impressed by what I heard about Andersen. And the no payment for a year was an attractive feature since that was a good outlay of funds. A time to deal with that is appreciated. I also had positive interaction with the first individual that I had contact with who came out to the house and started discussing the project. It was an extensive one. Two floors and all but two patio doors and a front entry door and a door out to the deck were replaced. So, the whole house was done.

The quality of the windows has been excellent. But the quality of the installation was what impressed me. The crew that performed this work to the person were all very professional, competent, and conscientious. It's expensive but worth it. There was no distinct timeline given, but I learned through various meetings with the Andersen folks that there was some time delay, but it seems true with everything these days. But I wasn't prepared for a year from the initial time of consult to completion. That was a long time. It was made clear that there's a production sequence that takes time and I wasn't so opposed to that, but it just dragged on. I wish it was done quicker.

The installation was complicated by the fact that we have four little Yorkies and they're good-natured, but they get under your feet. So, I had to wall them off in one part of the house while the installers worked on the other, and they were more than willing to work with it. It was two weeks of Monday through Friday, and one window did not get shipped with the rest of the windows. So, another month later, they came in and got that done in a day.

We got double-hung windows, an awning, and a picture window from Renewal by Andersen. A sales guy did a demonstration and talked about it. Andersen told us how long it'd take to build them and how long it would take to put them in. They called two or three times in between there to give us updates. The rep said it would take about three months to get the stuff and it really only took maybe a month and a half.

The installers were three Russian guys and they were funny. The main guy among the crew was showing me how to take the windows down and wash them. When one guy was showing me how to use the windows, I asked to get it on video because I would forget. He told me how to do it. I'm hoping to get a couple of doors or at least one door and a couple of windows later. I asked him if they would be the ones to come back out and he said I could request that. That's what I'm gonna do because they were very clean, friendly, and nice. They got out there at 9:30 in the morning and by 1:30, they were totally done. They did seven windows and they were beautiful. They left me two tubes of caulking. I guess if they lose their seal, the caulking is for future use. They were awesome.

The only thing was the salesperson told us that the windows would not sweat because of the way they were made. A couple of weeks ago when we had the little cold snap, every one of them sweated. I took pictures of them and sent them to Andersen and said, "What's the deal? $13,000, you said they weren't gonna sweat and they're sweating." They sent out the team to check it out and the guy handed me a little Andersen pamphlet that talked about condensation. One guy said, "Well, they don't need to say that they do not sweat because every window will have condensation because it's warmer in your house than it is outside. When that happens, it creates that humidity in there. They will sweat."

The guy then said, "I will go around and check all of them and make sure they're installed correctly." There were two windows that were really hard to lock. He said, "I just need to go out here and get a shim and put under it where it would lock easy." He did and that was fine. It fixed the issue. He said the windows all looked like they were installed perfectly. The guys did a really good job getting them squared up and the windows all looked great. He said that if I happened to break one of those locks off, I could call them and they would come out here free to put a new one in. They're guaranteed for 20 years." He said, "In fact, I have a little lady that calls me real regular... I come out and adjust her windows about once every couple of months." On the whole, we got expensive windows and it was hard to bite off on that amount. But my other windows were crap, so it's good. We've got them set up on automatic payment that just comes out.

I went to other people and I felt like I was speaking to salesmen that just wanted to sell me on the most expensive thing. But Renewal's salesmen were really good and very professional. They made me really comfortable and they didn't try to force anything on me. The rep who came out spoke to me in reference to the product that I wanted -- just specifically those products. He gave me a lot of options and gave me space to think. I felt like he didn't try any weird, cheap tricks and that it was okay to say no if I didn't wanna go with them.

We purchased a bay window and an exterior front door and the installation process was good. I already have my furniture moved out the way. The guy came in and laid down something so the floor wouldn't get messy. It looked like it was a pretty big project, but he got it done very fast and it was very clean. I thought that it would be three days for them to finish the project but the guy got finished in two -- a full day for the window and one day for the door.

The products are top-notch qualities. I love the look and they feel sturdy. When you put in new windows and everyone in neighborhood is complimenting them, you know you did a good job. Andersen was efficient and beautiful and I would recommend them. I really hope that they don't change their sales pitch because it was really the sales pitch that got me. It was early spring of the year that we contacted them, and then the products were put in on the first part of October. We did five windows. We originally had Andersen windows in our house when we built it. Therefore, I felt that they are a good product. The new ones are different than the older ones. What we were looking for, too, is, there's less glass. The older ones went out further and had wood, and we were having some issues with the sweating windows and black mold around them. This new style type ones don't have any of that kind of trouble. They're made with more of that kind of intentions not showing up.

I really was fond of working with the salesperson. The installer was top-notch. He came out, and I said, "Is there more guys coming to help you?" He said, "Nope. Here I am." He put in three windows one day and came back and put in two others and did a fantastic job. He cleaned up everything. I had some of these blinds that I didn't know how to take down. So, he even helped me got them down and put them back up.

Our original windows were the ones with the lowest price at Menards and when I would clean them, sometimes the little plastic tabs were breaking on them. But these Andersen windows seem to be made of sturdier stuff. The glass seems clearer, too, but it's because they're so new. We called Renewal by Andersen, and they sent somebody out. We were very impressed with their product and with what they said they did. We ordered the windows, and they did a great job. RBA told us it would take a day. But they could not guarantee that the window would be leak-proof because the windows had a problem. They could have done it in one day, except that window In the lower level leaked, so we needed to go outside RBA and hire someone to come in and take care of it. RBA came out and said, “Whoever you hired did a good job, and we're all set.”

Our custom windows fit the opening. The upstairs windows in our bedroom, we went with a screen that's tiny. So, it looks like no screen at all. And we were very happy that we did. We could have gotten the standard or the better one. For our bedroom, we wanted the better one. For downstairs, we went with the standard screen because we don't sit there and look out the window that much. It still looks great, and it matches the other windows that are down there. RBA added a channel on the outside and it looks good and so finished, and it is guaranteed that it will never leak. We have a lifetime warranty on the windows. The windows are superb. They're beautiful. They're crank windows with inside screens. The person who worked with us made sure that they matched. The outside matched perfectly. So, nobody coming up to the house would say, “That window, they replaced.” No one could tell.

We needed the windows and it would have been easier for us financially to go with a vinyl window, but it would have evened out the warranty in the construction of the windows versus trying to do extra construction on previously made windows. And they were custom-made to fit our frames. So, when it all got in the wash, it was more than we wanna spend but we knew the quality was gonna be there. And Renewal by Andersen is a company that locally, can get us in before a year and a half to two years.

We have 17 windows and we got 11 done including two big bay windows, which were over 150 inches, three pieces and nine singular windows. We have two dormers, which is a double-sided window and on either side of our house on the upstairs, we have two more windows and one in our bedroom and two bigger windows down in our kitchen area. I'm gonna pay cash rather than take out a loan on the other windows and the windows that we didn't get done would be the ones that Angela, the rep, would hold back on. But we need to get moving on these other windows faster. Angela helped us triage our house to help us with what windows were more dire.

The installers took about two days to get everything done. They kept us apprised of everything that was going on. One of them, Luis, even walked us around and told us which areas we would probably have issues with later on and that we could get a contractor out to deal with it. Even though we're putting windows in, we don't want the house to fall down around the window. But no, they were solid. When people find out the windows are Renewal by Andersen, they at first do a little bit of a hiss because they know it's an expensive window. But at the same time, we've told them it's custom-made to the house. We don't have to worry about them as far as the glass material that's being used, that gas system that's inside the window as far as keeping heat and cool out. That’s why I went with them and they're pretty windows.

Everybody who's saying they need new windows likes ours. But we try not to talk to them too much about the cost and more about the service and what the window’s gonna do for us. They just need to get a consultation. I can't tell them what their windows are gonna cost. But Angela was solid and she gave us about four different options on how to do it and then let us customize based upon her recommendation of if we kept these windows, we didn't do these windows, and what the whole thing would cost versus what it would cost in the meantime. We paid Renewal by Andersen for the convenience in which they did the windows, the professionalism of their company about the whole thing, and then how quick it was. Angela said it would probably be around Christmas but we got it done middle of October. It may have been two or three weeks earlier than she thought also.

They're very professional and they follow up a lot. When the workers came out, they did an excellent job. The actual job only took two days. The only thing we had to wait the longest for was for the windows to come in. It took a couple of months. But, it came in a little bit faster than what they said. On the installation, the installers got here early, which was nice, and stayed late that first night and came back the next day and knocked it all out. I like that we're able to open the windows a lot easier. I'd definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen.

Andersen wouldn't be flexible and let me change them even if I paid more. Also they seem to have "lost" my $6000 payment and I can't get anyone to help me. I've paid off 2 thirds of my bill but am only getting credit for 1 third! Stay away from Andersen windows!

We love our Windows by Renewal by Andersen. We initially got 8 of our windows replaced a few years ago and were very happy with the installation and the window. We just had 4 more windows replaced this year and were even more impressed with the service. The windows are very efficient and block out the heat in the summer and now that it is cold outside we notice our house is not drafty at all.

The windows are so well sealed and installed with quite a bit of foam insulation. The crew that came were very respectful and took care to put mats down wherever they were walking so nothing was tracked on the floors. A few days later the Sales Rep contacted us to see if he could come and check on the install. He noticed a manufacture defect in one of the windows - so small we had not noticed it. He made a note of this and is following up with the manufacturer for a replacement slider to fix the issue. We were so impressed and happy he noticed this and was taking care of it without us asking.

Renewal by Andersen made an error in measurement. I have an R-shaped skyline in my master bedroom that came in backwards. So they had to rig it in and I'm waiting for the new one to come in. It encompasses one entire wall and it doesn't look good from the outside at all. In that respect, I was disappointed. I'm also still waiting for the screen door for my patio door. I was promised that it would be done before Thanksgiving. So I called them a week ago to see but the windows haven't came in. Overall, I've had a positive experience except for the glitches with the installers as well as the sales reps. But they were pleasant and professional.

I don't live in this property so it was 100% remote interaction. I had to trust them on it. I wanted to get a second opinion but at that point, it was too late because they had taken out the original sliding glass door. The job ended up costing me double what I thought it would.

The old Adage applies. The common law of business balance, often expressed as "you get what you pay for", is the principle that one cannot pay a little and get a lot. That is, paying a cheap price will not guarantee the buyer will receive a product of high quality value. In other words, a low price of a good may indicate that the producer compromised quality.

We considered getting windows from a 'Big Box' store, and got an estimate that was about two thirds of the Renewal windows. After getting a 'demo' of the Renewal windows from 'Mister Rogers Windows' and considering the excellent warranty coverage, materials, the clever 'Glider' picture window design, concluded that the cost was worth the investment.

The installation was super professional, and the clarity of the new glass made us realize that the old double pane windows had leakage that made moisture and whatever other contaminants severely degrade the clarity. When the windows were removed, the view of our backyard forested was unimpeded by glass - perfectly clear. After the Renewal windows were installed, the view through the new glass was as clear as the view when no window was there. We are extremely satisfied with our new Renewal windows - well worth the price.

We have one large window in the middle in the living room and it's fixed. The rest of them are all sliders. The installers were great. They came, moved the furniture and took the curtains down. I'm 88 years old and couldn't do it. They took care of all that and put the windows in. They were done within four and a half hours for all six windows. They were amazing. They did a beautiful job and cleaned up very well.

I'm very pleased with the window that's in the living room. I was afraid that since I don't have my blind up there yet, we'd get a lot of heat from it. But there is no heat when the sun is shining directly on it. It's wonderful. We don't have any heat or cold coming into the house from those windows at all. I have a storm door that I had put in and that door is about eight feet from the window. That door gets so hot that it's almost impossible to open it sometimes because it burns my hands. I put my hand on the window from Andersen to see if it made a difference inside, and it was cool to my touch. I am very pleased.

The installer was on a ladder, 20 ft up. The wind was blowing, and people couldn't see anything. In May, I ordered six more windows, and I made sure that Renewal by Andersen got the same guy on the second install. He brought help, and they put in the windows in late September, so it was beautiful. They finished in five hours.

TL;DR: Terrible workmanship, poor communication, lack of understanding of how their own financing plans work. I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is to do business with and that you should avoid them at all costs. My neighbors had Windows replaced by this team and recommended them to me. I have always heard how great Andersen is. However, my experience was terrible starting with the installation process. I had a great experience with the sales team. Although the pricing was outlandish, the quality and workmanship would show what I was paying for, right? WRONG. I replaced half of the builder's grade windows in my house. Mainly because I couldn't afford to spend 112K to replace them all!!! Once the installers showed up they did a terrible job sealing the new windows. They did this install in February, so it was nice and cold outside. I could see the air gaps and feel the cold air flowing in around the windows.

The installers said it was good. I had to get the project manager out to see it and force them to fix the issue. Then they put the framing around the windows quickly before I could see if they really fixed the issue or not. Fast forward to today, a thermal imaging camera shows the hot/cold spots surrounding the windows in the framing. You decide. Then when they were finished, the back door wouldn't lock properly. They didn't do a good job on the trim. We have "fancy" trim, and the installer tried to match what was done, but I don't feel they have the woodworking skills to do. They should have used a coping saw but instead did a half-a glue together joint job that is mediocre at best. Next, the painters came. They didn't sand down any of the trim before painting and it looked terrible, felt super rough, and they left globs of paint where it ran down on the windowsills. They also didn't finish the trim by the door on the floor.

They used different color of caulking/sealant and a cheap piece of paint grade wood that shouldn't be painted because of the location. So, we are left with an ugly trim piece that no one can do anything about. Apparently. This is now 8 months later, and they are still coming out to fix issues. Then, to top it all off, they didn't turn the bill into the finance company in time, so I have to go through the financing portion all over again and will end up with two loans for the same project. What a cluster **. I even called them and told them to put the financing through before the funding period ended and they said it was no big deal, they will let them add the last half of the loan later. Wrong. They will not. So here I am looking at much higher interest rates because they have increased exponentially since I first signed this project a year ago.

I can't believe how terrible this project is. The turnover rate and changes of people I deal with tell me they must be a terrible company to work for as well. They can't keep competent skilled labor and their administrative staff is lackluster at best. Also, they kept sending the same worthless talent out to fix the problems they made rather than getting someone else that knew what they were doing to come out. I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is to do business with and that you should avoid them at all costs.

We had Andersen windows initially in the house, and so when we finally decided after 40 years it was time to replace them, we went with the same. The house was built in the sixties and they were the original windows, but they lasted all of that time. The cranks were just wearing out, and there was a lot of wood blocking views. So, we were ready for a change. I wouldn't buy anything else. The service was excellent from the time the salesman walked in, and we contacted them. They didn't contact us. We were shopping for windows and we had been thinking about this for a while. So from the point they got here to the point we are now, the service has been amazing. The installation was done by perfectionists. They did a beautiful job. They did it in only two days. I wish every company had the type of attitude that Renewal's customer service has. The products were expensive. However, with our experience thus far, they certainly have been worth it.

One of the windows came in cracked, and they were very disappointed. That has already been rescheduled to be installed on November 6th. They've done a wonderful job of keeping us informed of where they were in the process of the original order and when it might be installed. I can't think of anything that would discourage me from recommending Renewal by Andersen to anyone.

The salesperson listened to us a lot and then he was able to give us good feedback in terms of what we were thinking and what might work better or what he agreed, “Well, that would be a good idea.” He would just give us other ideas and was not trying to convince us with anything but give me the pros and cons of why we might wanna put a slider here or not put a flyer here, and maybe put a picture window. He was very knowledgeable, and I didn't feel like he was trying to sell us anything. He was just here to help us.

We couldn't believe how great the products looked. The difference was amazing. Also, they were such nice people and did such a good job. We were so pleased. Within 15 minutes of them finishing the job, some guy came in and said he was with the Andersen Windows Quality Control and he was checking their job. He checked all around to make sure everything looked good and he double-checked how the windows opened and closed and showed me some things, but the installers had left me a book and showed me how all the windows worked.

We used Renewal by Andersen before in the same house and we had similar windows done, so we decided to continue with them. We got windows and a sliding glass door. The representative was the same one we had a number of years ago, and we were happy with him, and he did a good job. He knew what he was talking about about the windows and the financing. He was knowledgeable and courteous, and he remembered that he’d been to our house before, which was almost 10 years before. We had someone come in and do the second measurement. Then on the installation, the guy who came out with his two helpers walked us through everything, walked the house, and seemed to know what he was doing. He did a good job. As far as the products, they're helping. At least that's what we can tell during the summer months.

I did one slider and a big bay window with two up and down ones. One screen came damaged and Renewal by Andersen said they were gonna replace it. This was back in September when they did the windows. It's taking time to get that screen replaced. They just said that they had it ordered and it hasn't come yet. The rep checked up on it and he said that it was gonna be coming on November 7th. But overall, the quality of the windows seems to be really good. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen. The only thing is that you've gotta expect a waiting time to get them in because they are very busy.

My husband called Renewal and they made an appointment and came out to our house. The rep looked at the windows that we had, measured them, and gave us a quote. We decided then and there, we were gonna go ahead and do it. We bought three that are just total glass and do not open -- one in the bathroom so it was frosted, and we got one big window that opens up. The rep gave us a quote on how long it would take before the products would be available for them to install and that they would call us once they were available. We waited about a month. I was at work when they did the installation and the only thing I was disappointed with when I got home was that there were some smudges on the window. They weren't exactly totally clean but that was probably from them touching the windows to install them. First impressions are everything but it is what it is.

Also, when we talked to the rep, he said something about coming out the day that they installed them, but he didn't. I was a little confused about that. But he texted us and said he had another appointment and wasn't gonna make it. That was fine. Other than those, I could not believe the difference in our bedroom, especially with how hot it was this summer. The room is cooler than the rest of the house. I thought we should get the windows for the rest of the house. They are a little pricey but they're worth it.

I went to Renewal by Andersen's showroom and looked at their product. I liked their reputation and they had the lowest bid. Their rep Mitch came to the house and he laid out very clearly what the steps were and what the price was. I was impressed with his knowledge. He knew what he was doing and he was informative but not pushy. The other guys I checked were really pushy and I didn't like that. The Renewal sales and marketing were excellent.

Renewal sent a technical guy out to measure. The crew they sent was exceptional. They put in a three-window casement. I was surprised by how quickly they got done with what they had to do. They were very thorough and clean. They also kept me informed. I was home that day, so they didn't mind answering questions as they went along. They did one window and we put in a new front door with a storm door. We went with the fiberglass one for the front door. The quality of their products is exceptional and looks fantastic. I'm gonna get another window next year.

With Renewal, you get what you pay for. There were other windows out there that were more money but they weren't this quality. They were inserts. I didn't want that for this kind of money. Renewal was expensive but it was well worth the money. Customer service called me twice just to check if everything was okay. We bought other products that were expensive and we never heard a word from the people that did it. I told my neighbor about Renewal.

I would recommend Renewal by Andersen and the product, and the way they were professional and clean. I would recommend them if you wanna pay their prices. The cost was high for the amount of windows. We had a special-order window, plus another window and a sliding patio door. They offered two years no interest, but there was no break on the actual product itself. But the rep was very good and friendly. He made me feel comfortable, didn't push anything on me and explained the product. He explained how long it would take, and it was that time frame. The windows are very good quality. They're very heavy.

When the sales rep came, I really liked the quality of the window and I was looking for something longer term, so I went ahead and went with Renewal. Also, the sales rep was very personable, friendly, and honest. When I emailed him asking him questions, he answered and he was really good. We bought 11 windows from them and they told us when we'd get the window and how many days it would take to install. The installers tried their best to clean up after themselves and make sure everything was perfect. We're really happy with everything, except the price. The windows made a big difference in the house.

We liked that Renewal by Andersen is a one-stop shop for they come out and do the measurement, build it there to the specs they did, and then install it. They had a local rep in the area that came out to us the first time. We got picture windows and sliding windows. They're wonderful. The rep that came out and visited us brought samples of each of the window types, along with the presentation that he had on his laptop to go through all the different types that were available. The presentation was very in-depth and helpful. It was nice to have those visual representations of what we were looking at. He kept us up-to-date on the expectation for when the windows would be done and arrive and come out, and then came afterwards to check on it as well.

As far as the installation, we let them come on in and get it all taken care of. They put plastic on all the rooms where they could to keep any dust from getting out of there and as well as keep the AC to where it was and trying to cool the whole outside. They were able to do three the first day, and then the next two the second day. They took out and then put back in what they could do in a day. They didn't go over the top and try to take all five out at once and then put themselves in a bind.

They did an excellent job and they let us know exactly what they were gonna be able to do that day and didn't try to get overzealous and rush anything. They stayed to make sure everything was done and sealed up and caulked and they went over the explanation of how to use them all. They made sure that throughout the whole process, they stayed in communication. Overall, the quality is worth the cost on there. The cost is within the expectation. The rep was upfront with it as well. So, we knew what we were signing up for. I'd recommend Renewal by Andersen at least even for a sit-down consultation just to go through their options.

We liked the benefits of what Renewal by Andersen presented, the history, the type of window, and what we wanted for our house. We were throwing so many things at Jill, the sales consultant, and I was surprised she even kept her head on straight. She was here for almost three hours because our initial concept was a little different than what we ended up with because of the cost associated with it. Between my husband and I, our thoughts about what we wanted seemed to be different. Jill was great. We liked her very much. She was approachable and she seemed to listen to what we were asking for.

As far as the installation, we waited for two months, but part of it was our delay because we had our air conditioner go out. It was a two-day install. We're super happy. As soon as they put in our first four windows, we were like, "Oh, my God." The screen is such a fine mesh. It's in the inside. It's really hard to see it. It's really hard to know that you have a screen on there. We love the looks of the product and the ease of use.

We had our second installation with Renewal by Andersen and it was very smooth. We kept the same shape of the windows. We just removed the grid that was in the windows. So they're just simple windows. Some of them are picture windows, and Andersen puts a real pretty trim on them. They have a real pretty trim that matches these other windows that we have in the house.

The installation was painless. We followed all the instructions that they gave us. When the crew came in, they had their own vacuum cleaner. They would clean after themselves. They came at 9:30 and worked until about eight at night. They had all the windows installed and then came back the following day to finish puttying up or doing what they needed to do. It was wonderful.

I had an extraordinary and very satisfying experience with Renewal by Andersen. They were very professional from start to finish and just top-shelf. We had them come out and they made their presentation. They were substantially more expensive than the others that we had talked to. At first we did not pick them. But there was a follow-up call from the salesperson's upper management that came out and talked to us. Her name was Alicia and she came out. She was extraordinary. She said, "What we can do, because we are a manufacturer, we can redesign some of the windows that may be a little bit less expensive." We were replacing some windows that were opened. She said if we put a stationary window there, that will lower the cost.

The way she came back to us with some redesigns of windows lowered the cost down a little bit but not a lot. We were just taken aback by their advanced technology and the manufacturing. They are totally vertical and have no outside contractors. Alicia came out when the job got started as well as after the job was done. There were a couple of things that needed to be taken care of later on because of some supply issues. She was always in contact with us to let us know that, "It's here in stock and here's the appointments. Can we still confirm these days and times?" We did. We ended up spending more money because we even took out one of our single doors and had Andersen install a sliding glass door.

We're still getting emails and texts from the general manager. One of our screen doors had a slight imperfection on it for the sliding glass door and they said, "Nope, you keep this one and we'll have another one on order." It's being installed next week. I am a builder by trade and I know what it's like to deal with vendors that say they wanna come out and do something and they don't do it or they come out and do it and they're late and it's halfway done. I wish all of my trade that I do business with to build homes were as good and as professional as Andersen. My job and my hair would be a lot better.

Also, there's nobody that can touch the quality of Andersen. If everybody had the chance to listen and hear their sales pitch and see the quality of work, they would spend the extra money to go with this kind of quality. You get what you pay for. The cost was more than our budget was allowing. But their warranty policy is a lifetime.

We ordered windows for our house. We called Renewal by Andersen, they had someone come out, look at our house, give us an initial estimate. After the initial estimate, they had someone come out and measure. The measurements were made. They took that back to the factory for construction. Six to eight weeks later, we got a notice that the windows were ready for an installation and we scheduled a date with them. They were very good. The windows are high quality. My wife is happy with them. That's what makes me happy.

When the wind would blow, they would rattle. But these new ones are solid. Excellent product and a good deal.

Renewal by Andersen did a sliding glass door for my primary residence and I've been happy with what the installers did. The salesman, Alan, was very thorough and professional. He was willing to listen to whatever mild complaint I had. But there were issues with dispatch and with collecting the invoice. Then, on September the 26th, I had two 4x6 windows installed at my studio apartment in Denver. They use the word clad to describe the windows which are white on the outside. When I called Alan to order, he came out the next morning to do the measurements. He gave me all the information about who I needed to call two days prior to make sure that the they had the ability to call my tenant so that they could gain access to the building.

The installers put the windows in the truck at about 6:37 and they called me at 7:15 because they had not received the dispatch memo that I had given them the day before. But they knew the address in Denver, and they had my phone number as the owner and the one that made a half down payment. So, I gave them the name and phone number of my tenant. I told them that she was expecting them and to call her when they were 20 minutes out. And that was what happened. I met them at the place and both guys were very professional, clean and precise in what they were doing. I was in the studio apartment making phone calls and texting for a period of about two-plus hours while they finished putting the final touches on things.

They said the installation was a half-day job and that if they got there at 8:30, they'd be done by 12:31. They were able to meet that timeline and when everything was good to go, I flipped them a 20 and told them to go get some pizza. They were in a little bit of a hurry to want to make their second appointment, but they didn't rush and do a bad job. However, on one of the two windows, the handles broke up at the top. So, they put in a service order and completed that. I'm pleased with the quality of the windows I received and it was at a very fair price. But trying to navigate through the link that Renewal by Andersen sent me was very tricky. It was for reviewing the work of their subcontractors which I understand is part of their bonus. But I'm in the mountains and I'm challenged technology-wise. They also get lousy marks for whatever the heck they're doing in billing and invoicing. And they get a failure in dispatch.
