Renewal's presentation was a little long, tedious and too high pressure. I assumed that they would have good installation. The installers were nice enough, but the installation was really bad. It went quickly. They brought a whole bunch of people in and it was just slam, bam. It was not a professional job. I had a bunch of other windows installed by somebody else and there was no comparison.

The sales consultation with Renewal was very informative and very thorough. The installation was really professional. However, one window was broken on arrival. But when they came to do it once, it was reordered and everything went smoothly. They were very quick. The quality was very good. I can feel the difference. I'm looking forward to this winter for a change.

Renewal by Andersen was great. I really liked that I didn't have to deal with a bunch of subcontractors. And they came in and worked really quickly. I really love my windows. The worst part is the price, but that's not a problem. I feel like I got good quality for the price. Also, the windows already made a difference in my heating bill. Now, it's just working on paying these off so I can get the rest of them done. I recommend it. It's worth it.

I'm enjoying the windows from Renewal by Andersen. They were hard workers. They knew what they were doing and they all worked very well together. They told me about how long it took to build the windows, when they were being built, and then they would be installed in one day and they paint the next day. They were right on. The price ws a little high. But they're such big windows, I don't have to worry about storms blowing something through them now.

The only thing I don’t like is the windows don’t have a handle on them. Our old ones had them, and it’s just strange not having them. But, overall, we didn’t have any problems. We knew that Renewal by Andersen had a good reputation.

The presentation was stretched out a little too long. But they had some ideas, took pictures of the house to show me, and I liked what they had. They did everything I asked. The price was a little higher than other places, but you get what you pay for. As of now, they’re still putting in the windows and got another six or seven to go. I couldn’t ask for anybody nicer.

I needed some window and I gave Renewal by Andersen a call. The rep came over and had a good presentation. So I got the windows that I needed. The people they sent were very good. They knew what they were doing. They did it in one day. There were five windows that they put in. They were clean and protective of the house. It even sprinkled a little and they protected the house for that too. So they were excellent. The cost was high but I went ahead because of the presentation and the quality of the material that it sounded. I'm satisfied.

Beware!!! I purchased 4 windows and a sliding door from Anderson. They were installed in aug 2025. It is now the end of oct and they are still dodging my calls. Things to know… You will be inundated with calls, emails and text messages. None of the calls or text messages will come up as Anderson. They are just Rando numbers. If you have any window dressings beware! I have wood shutters in 2 windows, a hunter douglas silhouette roller in another, and hanging shutter doors that slide on the sliding door. New windows replaced Millard double panel windows.

Renewal By Andersen did an excellent job installing a patio door for us. The crew was outstanding and left the work space cleaner than how they found it. I would highly recommend them for windows and doors installations.

I signed up to win a contest. They contacted me asking for my address and other personal information. I asked her why she’s asking. She tells me, "In case you win so we know how much it will be ahead of time." She says, "We wanna make an appointment to come to your house. Look at your doors. Windows. See what needs to be replaced so we can figure out a price in case you win." I told her, "Can’t you contact me if I do win to do that. I don’t really want someone coming to my house because I don’t trust that you guys are not gonna try to sell me something." She says, "Don’t worry. We don’t do that" so I sit fine. I gave her my address.

We had two doors replaced by Renewal -- a sliding glass door and a front door. We went with them because of their reputation. The installation was great. It was a very smooth process and it turned out really nicely. I know we went for something that was known for being top quality and we knew we had to pay for it. And we were very happy with it.

I needed windows and called Andersen. They said they do not come in person. The windows that were supposed to take three months like they said ended up taking a year and a half. It was a lot of back and forth to get windows done. They said that had nothing to do with them. "Go deal with the person you worked with." Even though the money was already paid.

Renewal by Andersen provided good service. Our door looks good. When I brought up any concerns I had to the contractor, they addressed it right away. It was ideal for what we needed.

The door is nice and I really like it. But I don’t like that I have to turn many knobs, many times, for the locking mechanism. I’m afraid it’s going to break on me. I also did not like waiting almost three months to get it put in. I paid a lot of money to wait that long. I get that it is because it’s a custom-made fit door, but I would have thought of going more local if I knew about the timeframe because when they came here and measured, I was told I should have it within two weeks. But I’ll be looking at Andersen again for the back screen door. Hopefully, it’s not going to take that long.

I can't say anything bad about Renewal by Andersen.

The installation was good, but we’re not happy with the product because we did not get what we ordered. We were supposed to have windows that slid open fully and they only slid partially. Same with the screens. They’re stationary.

We ordered slider windows, slider doors, and one regular door for the front entrance from Renewal by Andersen. They said it'll take about a month to be done from when we ordered and they were pretty accurate about it. The installation was seamless. A whole bunch of people came in. They protected all the floors and things that might get dusted and they were thorough with all that.

The installation of our doors from Renewal was good. The first one we had was the sliding doors. We were very pleased with it and how it kept the heat out of the sunroom. We're waiting for a panel replacement and we'll be looking forward to that being completed.

Everything with Renewal by Andersen is fine. I was well pleased with the workmanship, the cleanup, and the man who came out to do the job did very well. But then I noticed I had two screens that were left off. I called the salesperson yesterday, and I haven't got any reply. But other than that, I'm saying good things about Renewal.

I’m glad I went with Renewal by Andersen because they did a wonderful job. I was told it would take six weeks, but it didn’t take that long. There were maybe two or three different teams and they all worked very well together. It was amazing to watch them work and do a wonderful job.

A repeat customer from Houston, now back in DFW. Continued excellence, professionalism, customer service and respect! All of these seem to be lacking these days in most industries, but not so with RbA! Project completed in very short time, looks great, follow up service coming soon, multiple customer service calls to make sure all was good and I was satisfied. Project workers were professional, respectful not just to me but also my neighborhood and my home itself. Very competent and did very clean work. Also cleaned up better than ever could have expected.

I looked online and made an inquiry online on Renewal's website and got a call within 30 minutes. I was impressed. I've got new doors, windows and Bulldog Security Screens. The installers were courteous and professional. I love my door. It's a nice door and we're really happy with it. All is right with the world.

The installers from Renewal were so nice and polite and the service was excellent. The products are lovely.

We compared Pella and a few others. A guy I know, in construction, told me about Andersen Windows. I purchased seven sliders and crankouts. I was given a two-day timeline, and it was quick. The installers were nice and quiet, and even had to deal with the rain. The windows are excellent. We love them.

Renewal by Andersen has an amazing process. The service was instructional, from the initial assessment to getting our windows installed. A technician also came out to check to make sure that one of the windows was properly installed because it wasn't shutting completely or feeling quite right. There were also no problems scheduling an appointment for them to come out and check.

Renewal replaced my sliding glass door back in 2023 and they did a great job. I decided to go with them again for some windows. The representative I talked to this time was a little pushy, but he wasn't too bad. The installation team was great and hilarious. They kept me entertained during the whole thing.

I had good feelings about Renewal by Andersen. Their representative was a very nice guy. There were some discounts due to several factors, like signing the contract on the first day. They ended up replacing 11 windows for us and it was good.

Saleslady Heidi from Renewal by Andersen was knowledgeable. All my questions got answered. The products seem to be well-built. The techs were professional and cleaned up after.

We purchased a patio door from Renewal and it seems to be great. Installation went fine. It hasn't been that long since it was installed, but I'll see how it would go into snow and winter. If you're looking for new windows, look into Renewal by Andersen.

The project with Renewal by Andersen was fabulous and was done in a very timely manner. The guys were terrific, and I have no complaints. I am their number one supporter.

The workers were very understanding, took care of us, and did everything very professionally. We were happy with their service, and the product is great. We have also used Renewal in the past.

I got windows from Renewal and the windows are nice. I was told it would take one day to install and that's what it did take. It took one day.

The team from Renewal that installed our windows was amazing. They did a fabulous job. The leader of the team was very encouraging. There was a young man who was new and was learning how to do the installation, and the leader was extremely positive and gave lots of praise and positive reinforcement. I didn't hear one word of frustration or irritation from any of them. That was a nice experience.

I needed a new door and took a stab. So, I started with Andersen. Their sales rep was very good and explained everything very well. The installers were great. I love the quality of the door that they installed.

Excellent product, installation and service. Sales representative was knowledgeable and accurate in his presentation. Will definitely purchase again for our next project. The installation crew did a great job and left our treated our home like their own!!

We signed a contract for a replacement bay window that was supposed to be the same dimensions as the one we were replacing. When it arrived, it was clear that the angles on the bay unit they had made were not what we had agreed to. They knew the error was theirs; measurements proved it. Nevertheless, they refused to correct their error and tried to blame us for their mistake. Bad customer service. We wound up with the wrong window -- and, one year later, the window is starting to sag and the frame is separating.

May 2, 2025, the salesman arrived, Jared. With NO sample on hand, he showed my husband and I Renewal by Andersen windows. We were interested in the double hung because of the convenience of the tilt-window feature. For 8 average-sized double-hung size, the cost was over $27K...a little steep but we went for quality. Since we never got to "touch or try out" even a sample, we had no idea that they are more of a "single-hung' than a double-hung. The reason is...in order to pull down the top window, you must push down on the bottom with your fingers behind the top sash! Then...if you have no fingernails, you can squeeze your fingers at the top to pull that window down...NO strip or anything to grab onto.

Today 2 courteous and skilled installers put in 3 beautiful windows. They arrived in the time range I was given. They worked efficiently and left my house clean and tidy. Hats off to Brandon and Levi and the Lexington KY team!

The Renewal by Andersen project teams provided excellence in customer service and expert workmanship for our Windows installation project. The sales, project management, and installation teams were all extremely knowledgeable and supportive in providing pertinent information throughout our project process.

I asked them to call me for an appointment after my surgery and gave them a date too. They called me the day of surgery and were very aggressive. I had to really assert myself to the caller to stop her from nonstop talking. I told her I was in pain and had to rest. No apology from her! I told her to never call me again. I contacted them later to be put on the do not call list but that was a nightmare too. He wanted too much personal information. He said he had to have it to get me on the list. He too was very rude. I ended up hanging up on him. Hopefully they have put me on their do not call list.

I placed my order for a new door in June and was assured by the salesperson that the door would arrive and be installed prior to my due date in late September. This did not happen. In fact, his promise had never even been communicated to the customer care team. Every time I communicated with the customer service team, I had to explain my situation again because they apparently didn’t take any notes in my files about anything.

I have been lied to so many times by my sales rep and the manager. They said the door would be installed in 8 weeks, maybe earlier. When the time arrived, I called because I had not heard from anyone. They said it had been released, and it would be an additional 6 weeks for an installer to be able to get to it. Now, that date has come and they said it hasn't been shipped yet. I am not happy with this company at all. I expected a much better operation given the price I had to pay for it. With all of the unknowns, I am starting to think it is a scam. NOT HAPPY!

Awesome experience. They replaced a large kitchen window that was leaking and warped and drafty. They also had to custom make a rear entry door and storm door. The workers were respectful of my property and my neighbors. When they were finished. I did have a few minor concerns which brought out their supervisor within 48 hours. He decided he would like to make a few adjustments and scheduled to team to return two weeks later. When they finished the adjustments, I was extremely happy. I have plans for them to return for two other new projects I want done.

My windows leak due to poor installation and wrong measurements. There are actual gaps between my windows and my house. My old windows never leaked, but now my new windows leak. I spent tens of thousands of dollars to have a worse house situation. It’s ridiculous. I am told by the company that the windows are good, that I just ordered windows smaller than my building frame—and by contract, they only cover the windows, not the way that the windows interact with my house framing. Yet I ordered replacement windows not smaller windows! And why would they insert windows that are too small for the window frame—when they measured twice to make a secure fit?! This is bad business, and I am completely unsatisfied by the lack of follow-up and outright dismissal of my issues. No one will help me fix this issue and my home is now compromised.

Wonderful installers, very thorough and took time to review the process before installing. Also used drop clothes and barriers to keep inside of home clean. They even vacuumed after the completion. Didn't have as much attention to detail from project managers however.

I called for quotes with different people and ended up having a person from Andersen come out. As much as I didn't like the Andersen person who came out to the house, I liked the product. I bought two sliding glass doors and the installation was pretty painless. Everything took about three months.

I was replacing an Andersen sliding glass door and Renewal quoted that it would be completed within weeks. However, it took a couple of months because I was told that there were delivery issues. The install on the other hand went very, very well. I was very happy. It's a good window. If you want to replace your windows, get an Andersen.

I recently had four Andersen windows installed in my home. They are beautiful but very expensive. The first two windows were installed but because of the way they were put in, the installer scratched the wooden/stained window sill on the first two windows. In four days, an Andersen repair person came to my home, sanded the sills and restained them. They look much better but not exactly the satin finish I had before the windows were installed. Throughout the experience with Andersen, communication was key and in that respect Andersen didn't disappoint.

Work crew kept us informed and worked together. They kept the house clean. We were asked for comments as they worked. After completing the work they took us around the house so that we could inspect and approve the work to our satisfaction.

Renewal by Andersen: forever etch in my head. From commercials to the ads. No question about the product or staff. I didn't need to get another estimate because the name is significant with the product. They were on time. The small crew left no questions unanswered. They made sure everything was clean, even on the sidewalk.

My experience with Renewal by Andersen has been outstanding. All the individuals that I have interacted with from sales to communication staff, and installers have been responsive and professional. The products that I purchased (doors and windows) are top QUALITY. I referred one of my family members, who was looking for a replacement, to Renewal by Andersen. This has been a very positive experience!

The salesman came through on all he promised and the installers went out of their way to make sure everything was cleaned up and the way it looked before the installation. If the windows weren't as expensive as they are I would have done my whole house.

I had a bad experience with a local contractor, so I needed somebody I trusted and who was well-known. I saw Renewal on TV and went with them for our slider door in the basement and a door and two stationary side panels for the living room. The representative who did the presentation and the installers were excellent. It was very expensive, but it was quality work.

Renewal put in new patio doors, side lights, and a garage door. They had to be custom-made. Customer service kept me informed of where it was, how it was coming as far as production and when the installation was gonna be. It was a little more expensive than what I thought it was gonna be, but they told me that upfront.

My son wanted to do something that I needed to have done. He knew that the wind blew through the bathroom window. But I am elderly and I wasn't about to step into something like that. And because he lives in Kentucky, he is not able to help out very often. So, he decided that there would be two new windows.

The sales rep from Renewal who helped me was very good, knowledgeable and helpful. The installers did a fine and really good job.

Summary. I hired Renewal by Andersen after a sales rep visited my home on March 21, 2004 and showed a small sample that made the outside view look green. The rep assured me the installed windows would match the sample and reduce heat in my front room. The installed windows were neither green-tinted nor did they reduce the heat as promised.

I am not happy with Andersen products. I have open issues with Andersen currently. I have not heard back with a phone number to call to get the problems resolved. The backslider opens to 31 inches. You need to go in and out sideways when carrying anything. The non Andersen door to the breezeway is still broke after 2 service calls. In the second service call they broke the window. Still not repaired.

I would give Andersen 10 stars. Are the windows expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Yes. My entire experience from start with their sales rep David to finish with the married dream team, the dynamic duo Yammi and Chris, who left my home cleaner than when they arrived.

Renewal By Andersen are the best. I will always use them for future projects. Absolutely professional and so very helpful and knowledgeable in every phase of the project. Installers were top-notch. They made sure we knew what was going on from start to finish and asked us questions and we asked them questions pertaining to installation.

We had windows replaced three years ago, and a young man came, knocked on the door, and offered for someone to come and take a look at our windows and tell us what might need to be taken care of. Our house is now over 30 years old. And a lady came out and did that. We were very concerned about one particular one, and so we contracted with Renewal then, and we're pleased with the service. So, that's why I called again this time.

We shopped around, did a lot of research, and pretty much knew what we wanted. We felt that Renewal by Andersen was the best for us. I’m very pleased with the patio door and two windows we had them install.

Everything went well from the time I met a rep from Renewal to the time everything was installed. The installers were professional. I'm hoping it's every bit as advertised. I'm still waiting on my screens for one of my bigger windows, but I have to follow up with the company on that. They had to reorder them.

We wanted to see if we could find a replacement for our Andersen door. We were able to get the replacement and it was quick and efficient. But it was expensive.

I have always wanted to have Andersen windows in our home, due to a recent storm, we made the decision to do it now. We couldn’t be happier with this decision. Workmanship, quality, teamwork, and installation were all outstanding. Insulation now has our bedroom quiet, I’m certain the utilities will be reduced as well. Too pretty to put curtains over, they are beautiful, inside and out.

Extremely satisfied with the company professionalism and care. They were punctual with their timeline. Their clean-up was great. Ease of talk was easy. They kept me informed about the next steps. I love my windows, they are so beautiful. I will use them again for any future project with regards to doors and windows.

Great experience with the Andersen window team. This was our second window installation with them this year and they delivered another great result!! The install team covered all our floors, was efficient with the install and cleaned up after the job was completed. Jason **, our representative, contacted us multiple times during the day of the installation. Much appreciated.

I like the fact that Andersen has a quality name to it. We put several thousands of dollars' worth of windows about two years ago, and then this time, we had about half that many dollars-wise put in. The folks did a did an excellent job for us. They told us that if we brought somebody else to them that there'd be a couple $100 incentive for us.

Renewal by Andersen's installer did a good job. He knew what he was doing. He came on the first day, and on the second day to finish everything up. He cleaned up at the end of each day. One of the windows is on the wrong side, but it's no big deal. We can manage. We had to move things around to get to it. However, Renewal wanted too much money. It's too expensive. I hope I got my money's worth. It has only been a couple of weeks. They still have to come back and finish it up, where they screw it in for the inspector to look at.

Renewal by Andersen' installation crew was very good. I was impressed with how efficient they were and how clean they worked. Things are well except our one door in our kitchen sticks if you open it from the outside. I was gonna call them today. We should maybe have somebody come out and look at that to know why it's sticking. If you open from the inside, it's fine, but if you try to open it from the outside, it's like it's almost locked.

The installation team was very good. The installation was done very quickly and correctly. They did a great job.

Our experience with Renewal by Andersen was perfect. They cleaned up as they went along. Everything was fine. The end results are beautiful. The company is wonderful. I’d give them all the top numbers.

There were some things that had poor craftsmanship but Renewal by Andersen came back and fixed them. But I shouldn't have to point that out. We can all clearly see it wasn't done well. They could have just did it right from the jump. It required me to stay home a second day from work, which was an inconvenience. The installer also needs to come back again because the lock came in installed upside down. It wasn't his fault but they had to order a new lock.

We are very disappointed with the experience we had and are having with Renewal by Andersen. The Quality is not there, they appear cheap to me. They assured us the so Called wood would stain to match our existing frame. It will not stain. One of the screens is defective. The crank mechanism used to open the windows is exposed to the elements allowing dirt, snow, rain to enter the window frame from below. Trying to get something done is almost impossible. It seems the availability of a service technician is very limited as they have only 1 (one) to cover 3 states. We have been trying for 3 weeks.

We were familiar with Renewal by Andersen, and our experience with the team went very well. They were very professional. We're very happy with the end result.

We have seen Renewal by Andersen's storefront when they were first opening up, plus our home has always had Andersen windows. Their installation team's cleanliness and the respect for us stood out. They explained the procedure and what they were doing. We did have a snafu, and they said immediately what had happened and connected us with the main office to discuss it, and a remedy was totally made. So, even when there was a problem, they followed through and did quality work. The overall end results are great.

5 stars for the apparent fine quality of the product. But a few nitpicks: 1) One of the plastic latches which releases the swing-out-for-cleaning feature doesn't work. The installer said to give it 24 hours for the spray-foam insulation to set up before worrying about it. Sadly, it didn't "fix itself". 2) We had crank-open casement windows installed in the kitchen, and nobody bothered to notice the fact that one can't be opened because the crank is too close to the sink faucet! This oversight REALLY rankles, give the cost of this project.

Overpriced, after 5 years windows are falling apart as seen in three pictures. Installation was horrible, find a good carpenter in your area. Ignore their spam marketing, this company is unfit for purpose.

This is an update review. I sent in my negative review last week and rather quickly the review was responded to by the owner requesting I contact them to resolve my issues, but there was no contact information. I immediately responded with either send me a contact number or call my cell, which I added. I have received no other information.

Renewal By Andersen is a great company who install amazing products that work better than advertised and are very nice to work with. They installed the windows in 1 day as promised. When it comes to homes 100+ years old, I understand that there may be some damage to the surrounding window area. They did tell us that there may be some damage and that we would have to fix that ourselves. The installers even tried to fix some of the damage with materials that they had brought from their own home. It did not work sadly, but the fact that they would even try speaks volumes to their character and is an amazing testament to how good the people at this company are. They did everything they said they were going to do and the results are stunning. I understand that any window company working on 100+ year old homes would run into issues and that this was kind of unavoidable.

We currently have an Andersen screen door, which we love. Our condo had some flooding damage from Helene, so we had to replace our screen door. We also had to replace the big, interior door, so to go with Andersen again and replace it with another Andersen screen door. Up until installation, everything seemed to be fine. The head guy would answer my phone calls and text messages. He was on top of things and right there to answer my questions. Prior to the installation, they said they will make the door look good. After it was all done, it was not acceptable.

We are very pleased with our windows! The company was very observant, made sure everything ran smoothly. The crew did their job professionally, worked until it was completed. It was a nice experience, love our windows! Thank you Renewal by Andersen!!

I was looking forward to boasting about the work done by Renewal by Andersen at my home, to my social media followers, but now I cannot. Your 2-man team's removal and reinstallation of window treatments in my two rooms (blinds, valances), though part of the payment, were botched up by them: in one room, they declared that my tan-color roller blinds no longer fit the window and frames they had installed, and in the other room, my gray roller blinds were damaged with multiple holes.

Renewal by Andersen did a good job with all the work that was done in installing the windows and with everything in the beginning. I paid for all the windows and installation upfront. I was pleased with it. However, some of the stuff took a long time. Renewal by Andersen had to order the windows, which took four to five weeks. Also, one of the windows was incorrectly purchased. It's a bathroom window, and the installers put a clear window in there. It has to be the ones that you can't see inside. It took a month to get that window in. I'm just waiting on this last part to be completed with the window in the bathroom, but I don't hold that against Renewal. The installer said the reason why the window won't lock might be a manufacturing problem. They are looking into it, and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

The service went pretty good. But they came out earlier than what we intended, so I had to get my mother-in-law out. But that was not a big deal. I also have a concern because my screen door won't open now. I don't know if I was supposed to contact Andersen or the guy who did it. It was cold when we got the door put in so we haven't opened it. Then in mid-June, I opened it one day, and it got stuck, and it's been stuck there since then.

My experience with the service was great. The project's overall quality is very good. A friend of mine had given me Tony's number, and I did pass on his name to some friends of mine, too.

Renewal's customer service was fine and the installation was perfect. I'd rate them a 5 out of 5.

I found Andersen online when I was looking for windows. I got a quote from Home Depot and then from Andersen. The service was good. The only thing is the panel is broken, but they're trying to fix that. They should be coming back. Everything else was good and it was a smooth process.

The process from initiation to installation went smoothly as the Hunzibuilt crew arrived early on the scheduled date and tackled the job with care and obvious experience.

The team of five installers that arrived at 8:00 AM to tear out our failing, 30 year old sliding glass doors wrapped it up at about 2:00 PM. Beautiful job. Skilled and friendly installers. Good attention to detail. Great product. The new doors with Low-E glass are twice as efficient as our old doors. We should see significant energy savings. Plus they slide sooo smoothly. Worth the premium.

Great experience from ordering to installing. Great team, great windows, great clean up. Very respectful, professional of me and my home. I am very happy with my purchase, which is my second purchase. I've already ordered my next set. That's how happy I am.

I was contacted by Renewal by Andersen. We set up an appointment to come and measure my windows. They later contacted me and informed me that one window was a minimum of $3,400. I informed them this was not in my budget and we cancelled the appointment. They referred me to Andersen Windows that may be cheaper.

They are charging $3500 with installation. You're better off buying Andersen 400 windows cost $600-$800 plus $300 to install. Home Depot sell these windows- Andersen only sell one 400 series window and they are just as good - why buy a overpriced window.

My back door leading out to the patio needed to be replaced. It was deteriorating from the awful Texas weather. Being from Northern California (beautiful weather), I didn't realize how TX weather conditions could make doors, windows and floor molding look so bad over time. The consultation sold me on this company. The design specialist, installation project manager, installers, painters and customer care representative were all great!

Overpriced, high-pressure sales, supply chain issues, inferior quality of materials, seek speak listen skills non-existent, first-time quality of workmanship poor. When I confronted a salesman at my front door about my past experience about the sheared lock actuator on my hinged patio door, he told me it was a high-wear item.

From start to completion my wife & I are very pleased with service. Timely calls on updates, weeks' notice before install, call morning before install regarding when crew would arrive. Head Installer, Jesus ** introduced us to his helpers & everything ran smooth from start to finish. He & his helpers cleaned up everything once job completed. Jesus took my wife & I on a walk-thru to see each install & he talked about upkeep which was very helpful. We would certainly hire your company again & request Jesus ** & his team. We just had our windows and front door replaced August 28-30th. The work was completed by a three man crew that included a jewel thief. We've been married over fifty-four years and some of my wife's jewelry has sentimental value to her. Prior to work starting, we moved our valuables to other rooms away from the work area. Also missing is a wallet with credit cards. We reported the theft to Andersen and their response was the installers were subcontractors and we had to file a police report.

We recently invested in Andersen windows and want to be fair in our feedback. The product itself deserves 5 stars—the windows are high quality and meet expectations. Unfortunately, the installation finish is only 1 star. The caulking was poorly done, which has left us frustrated given the price point and brand reputation. For the amount we spent, the cost-to-value feels very poor. We also expected more prompt support in addressing customer concerns. The caulking issues should be handled with urgency, not dismissed. Andersen should stand behind their reputation and send a crew to correct these issues—regardless of expense. We ask that Andersen take ownership of the quality they are known for and deliver the level of service their customers deserve.

Most expensive mistake I’ve ever made. Terrible product and terrible customer service. I ordered a sliding glass door that was promised to be safe, efficient, and easy. None of those promises have been satisfied. The door was “installed” five weeks ago. Both handles to the door came off within 24 hours. The door was also almost impossible to open and shut because there was so much resistance. There was no “easy glide” experience. I called the company and they assured me someone would come fix the handle.

I had windows installed. Technically, they were fine. They do what they're supposed to do. They're tight and energy-efficient.

I got a slider from Andersen and they did a very good and professional job. I was well pleased with them. The quality of the window is pretty good. I've got no problems with it. However, they had to take all the stucco out from around there, and then I had to wait a couple of weeks for some stucco guy to come back and put them back in.

My windows turned out beautifully. Excellent experience from start to finish. I was kept well informed throughout the process from start to finish. They cleaned up after themselves, were very respectful of me and my home. I have already recommended this company to others.

Renewal by Andersen always had a great reputation. I already have three Andersen windows in my living room, and I'm very pleased with them. The installation was perfect and I can't say enough about the quality. It's so much easier. I'm handicapped so getting in and out of my door is so much easier now than it was before. Renewal by Andersen was awesome. I knew their reputation was good. I got two doors, an entry door and a rear entry door and I got 12 windows. The installation was perfect and took two days. The quality of the windows is exceptional.

Some friends of ours have had Renewal by Andersen do replacements on their windows and we have Andersen Windows in the house. So we purchased three doors from Renewal. We have an entrance door, a French door that opens on one side and a slider. The actual installation was supposed to be a day or two and they did it in a day. We're pleased with the quality. It's a good product. It's an Andersen product and I trust the Andersen product. They've improved considerably over the 40 years since the ones that are in our house went in. I would recommend them if somebody needed to replace windows or doors.

Andersen is popular here in the Kansas City area. I had been wanting to do a project with them for several years, but costs prevented it. Then I was at a summer festival and there were some tents around the area where different vendors were. Andersen was one of them. I stopped and talked to a representative and I went ahead and scheduled an appointment.

I wanted something done that was going to be forever and I contacted Renewal by Andersen. They came out and told me their plan. I told them what I wanted. And that's exactly what happened. I had nine windows done and eight of them were double hung windows. I had one big window in my living room where the middle is stationary with two sliders on each end.

Renewal by Andersen replaced five windows for me because my windows were deteriorating badly because of weather. Someone came out for the presentation and it was great. There was no pressure. They told me what they were offering and explained the difference between their windows versus what they were replacing. And then we just came to an agreement. When he saw what I was replacing, he understood what I was doing.

I got a thing in the mailbox about Renewal by Andersen. I have Andersen Windows in my house, but I understand now that it's not the same company. So, I called to get a bid, and it was what I was in the ballpark for. The people were absolutely marvelous. I went to where you can open the window on each. The replacement took about four months, from beginning to end and the quality is superb.

When my home needed several windows replaced eight years ago, my brother cautioned me against using Andersen replacements. I contacted a local window company, United Glass in Aurora, Colorado that was recommended by the fellow who had just painted the interior of my home. I got quotes from United and from Andersen. The quote from United was ONE/FOURTH the cost of the Andersen quote. Eight years later, those windows are still in excellent condition. And Andersen sales people continued to come to my door for several months —- even though I repeatedly reminded them I live in a community in which soliciting is not permitted and that I am perfectly satisfied with the windows I have.

First we replaced all the windows in our house. BEST home improvement project ever! They are such a joy to use! Energy efficiency is improved, noise reduction is amazing. And they are beautiful! This time we replaced the windows in the casita. So beautiful!

1-Star Review: Misleading Sales Practices and Poor Customer Service. We had high expectations for Andersen Windows & Doors given their reputation, but our experience was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. The Issue: During our initial consultation, salesperson Stephen explicitly promised an 8-10 week lead time for our front door installation. We made our purchasing decision based on this timeline. After placing our order, we were informed the actual timeline would be 16-20 weeks - literally double what we were promised.

I love my windows and doors. My house stands out. The crew did a wonderful job from start to finish. Very professional, they explain everything when the job was done. Great quality windows and doors. One of my neighbors wanted the number to see about getting a door. I received so many compliments on my windows and doors.

Andersen doors were very dishonest when I was purchasing a patio door. I wanted a French inswinging door and I needed it not to leak water in a hard southern rain as I do not have good patio coverage. They were very confident that it would not leak. So I bought the door. And now it does leak. And now they are admitting that the door can leak. That would have been nice to hear when I asked directly before I bought the door.

I was completely amazed by the outstanding professionalism on every level, from initial discussions with the sales rep to the final walk-around following installation. I was kept in the loop throughout the process. Installation was allotted 3 days, and completed in 2 days, with a truly pristine and outstanding job. The quality of the windows and sliding door so far exceeds what was previously in place that there is almost no comparison. The price seemed a bit high initially, but at the conclusion of the work, I have to say - you get what you pay for, and in this case it was worth every penny.

I checked out other places but Lisa, Renewal's sales rep, was wonderful. One of the companies I checked when I was doing my homework wouldn't even come out to my home because I have a log house. The timeline they gave was an accurate one.

Customer service is terrible. I called five people to finally get someone to call me back then they ask me to call them and it goes to voicemail. Once they have your money they don't care about you any longer.

This experience has been pleasurable the entire way, the windows and doors are the highest quality, the installation was timely, efficient and accurate and the team was very professional and hard working. No regrets on our with choosing Renewal by Andersen!

In 2024, We had them quote us, $2500 a window. We went with Window World for $589 each installed. I know Anderson are custom and made from a durable composite, but my windows are standard size and it's not worth paying $1911 more per window.

I found Renewal by Andersen and studied a little bit of what it said on the internet about how their windows were, and decided to let them come out and talk to us, and we decided to go with them. They replaced all the windows in my house. I bought 11 windows. Installation was fantastic. They brought one gentleman out, and he had a trainee with him who was just as good as he was almost. He was doing more of the b and put a sliding glass door in for me. The same two guys came out, and they're both doing great.

When I installed new Andersen Windows and doors installed at my residence. My biggest disappointment was the fact that poor quality Provia doors were installed instead of Andersen windows and doors. I have had consistent problems with the Provia product and really feel cheated because my intention of choosing Andersen was based on their history of quality. To make things worse Andersen is now installing their own windows and doors but I as a customer is the one who was really cheated.

The rep looked at all of our windows, then he brought in all kinds of samples for us to look at. He compared the samples and explained how the light and heat comes through. He did a good job. He got us convinced.

Bought a door and storm door from Home Depot, which is the big box retailer for Andersen. Seems like a seal broke on the storm door, after having the door installed less than 90 days. Reported to HD, was given info to contact Andersen directly. Long story short, they have refused to honor their warranty. Told me door was manufactured in March, which was out side the 90 day warranty period even though it was purchased, ordered, and not delivered until May.

I wanted windows that would accommodate air conditioners. The ones I got do not open fully. The windows are not more attractive than the ones they replaced and the company refused to return my old windows. The sales pitch was persuasive but the product failed to deliver.

I purchased a sliding glass door and another separate window that had to be custom-made from Renewal by Andersen. I went with them because they have complete control over manufacturing, the window and measuring. There's no middle man.

We currently have Andersen Windows in our home. So, when the time came, we thought we would give Renewal the first shot to do the replacement. The lady who came for the consultation did a wonderful job. She explained everything with the measurements and the type of windows, and gave us our choices that we had. It all went fine and there were no hard pressures at anything.

The salesman from Renewal did a nice job of answering questions and problem-solving. We did 10 regular-sized windows that kind of rolled out and the salesman told us it would take a day and a half to install, and the carpenters did.

I had a bad experience a few years ago with another provider. I'd been trying to look around, and heard good things about Renewal by Andersen. When I got the first guy here, he introduced himself, explained the system, and showed us what we were going to get. He explained up to the last detail very, very nicely. He brought a lot of stuff to show. He was talking for over two hours. He was asking for an hour and a half for the first meeting. It took longer because he didn't push us on anything. We were asking questions, as many questions as we wanted to, and he answered everything. It was a very nice experience with him.

They were on point. Everything they said that they would do at the price that they said they were gonna do it at was exactly what they did. As a matter of fact, when the first person that came representing the company, I knew it was a good start.

We had a door replaced by Renewal by Andersen. The consultation went great. The young man was very respectful and informative. The installers were very professional. They worked on their own without supervision. They took a little longer than I thought, about six hours. I love the door. It helped to even cut down on the heat and address some of the gaps in the threshold as well. However, the door handle was incorrect. Apparently, it is still on back order and we're waiting for it to be installed.

I had Andersen windows before and I just got a door. However, it's got a defect, so they're making a new door. It's a little expensive and beautiful, but it's a good product My windows are phenomenal. It makes the house look so much different. The windows I got are just terrific, because they don't charge for different colors like other companies. The outside is almost like a dark chocolate brown, and the inside is white. They don't charge any different price to get a cranker window than they do a regular window, which is great, because I'm short and when you reach over the sink, it's really hard to. I know that with the other company that I got for my other house before I moved over here, I had to special order the crank window, and it cost me 2.5 times the amount of regular window. So, I don't have to pay a difference.

We recently bought our house and we knew that Renewal had a good reputation. We had a consultant come out and he was very good and very knowledgeable. He was very thorough and he showed us all the different features and helped us pick our windows.

A salesperson offered a free inspection of our home. We got a sliding porch door from Renewal and I love it. The installers were amazing and phenomenal. They can come back and work on any part of my house any day of the week. The warranty is quite long as well. It lasts for 20 plus years. But the main latch is half off and half on. They need to come and fix it already.

When our family converted a Barn into a home, Andersen installed all 16 windows and french doors to the deck. Now as we have renovated the Barn, we called Andersen to do the work of bringing our home up to date and they did an excellent job. Any issues were handled immediately. There were issues due to the age of our Barn. They adapted and made everything comply with our needs and concerns. Excellent from day one to the end our our 16 window project.

I just like Andersen. The first window I ever put in my house when I bought it 50 years ago was from them. Recently, we purchased from them a full-size picture window for the kitchen. I was happy with the visit. But, I was not happy with the final result. I had some problems with the company and I would not use them again.

I have had nothing but problems, over many years, with a new built home with Andersen windows & patio doors. Multiple visits from their reps, have not taken care of the drafts, nor the snow & rain that come in. The vinyl sills on the exterior, have buckled & water is getting inside the walls. Also note, their warranty is limited & when I had a cracked window, they mailed me the new sash, but installation is NOT included! I think they USED TO have quality products, but no more.

I purchased three single hung windows from Renewal by Andersen. They came to my home and did a presentation. It was informative about the types of glass and windows available. The price was really good. It was better than competitors.

Dealing directly with Andersen is great, but we had Ardmor install the doors. We had one storm door replaced due to a storm that came through and then we purchased another door from Andersen. The guy who did the front door did fabulous, but the guy who did the back door sucked.

I had Andersen for my three doors and a reinstallation of a previously incorrectly installed door. The installer said he needed about two full days. The actual replacement and installation took a full day and there was another day or two of touch-ups and repainting and making sure that everything was fit correctly. I recommend the installer's services to other people. He was very good as far as trying to keep within budget and being available. They are beautiful doors and I got a lot of compliments. The house looks nicer.

Renewal by Andersen actually built a brand but they are not what they said. They may offer variety of windows and materials to choose from but when they actually come to install it, they use different materials than you picked and will pay. If you happen to be a person of color, they will not provide you with what you paid for. They discriminate against colors and accents.

We had 24 double hung and two double windows from Andersen. They had the windows in in two days. However, the people who put the white things around the windows were delayed because we had rain and it took them about 2.5 days. They came half a day to see how to take out the old windows and put in the new windows, because every place was different. The windows were very good. We've had a lot of compliments on them.

We had three windows installed in our most recent project with Andersen. An independent contractor installed them, but they were Andersen-certified. I contacted them because I had called Andersen about some product questions, and the representative from Andersen said, "If you go on our website, we have the certified installers, and then you'll be backed by Andersen if you use them."

Andersen windows in Farmingdale are the worst. Bad product, bad management and lousy technicians. I waited all day for technician to come to repair window. Jason never came but made up story about calling wrong number. If you want faulty windows (second broken latch in a year) then go with these lousy windows. If you want to wait all day for no one to show up then this is the company for you. If you want dumb manager telling you there’s nothing they can do use Renewal in Farmingdale. On second thought Do yourself a favor. Go with a different company.

Living on one of the Great Lakes can mean blustering, cold winds, rain and snow. After replacing our doorwalls two years ago we decided to have them replace all of our windows. We are completely satisfied; it was an excellent project from start to finish with Renewal by Andersen.

In contrast, a reputable local contractor completely the job, including labor and materials, for $2,500. This stark difference highlights predatory pricing targeting the elderly and uninformed. I am dissatisfied with the way I was told the windows would be installed. I also question the salesman about his measurements. Final product did not meet what I was looking for. Was also told windows would reduce noise. They are just as noisy as my old windows.

We had 21 windows replaced on Friday by Renewal by Andersen. If “looks” tells the story then I’m well pleased with the job. The caulk job around the windows was the best. Brandon and his crew from Lexington and Josh and his crew from Louisville did the work. They started about 8:20 am and finished about 3:30 pm. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Our house is 23 years old and for the last 17 years that we have lived here two of the three Andersen doors going onto the deck did not work properly and one did not even open. It took about 6 months when they said it would be three. I suppose they never would have finished if I didn't hound them. Final should be in 2 days, we'll see.
