The sales representative from Renewal by Andersen who came and spoke to us about our windows was very nice. He showed up on time, and was very thorough in explaining their products. He even broke them down and looked at different incentives to see which one we would get us the best deal. And so we ordered a big living room window, a smaller window for the bathroom, and a sliding glass door that night he came. We were told that they would probably be in close to December. But then they called and said they were already to be put in in November. They gave us a date and time of when they would be here. The guys who put them in did explain some things to us like we were told that we were supposed to keep the windows sealed for two days before opening them, showed us how to work them, all that.
After everything was installed, my husband noticed that the seams where the sliding glass door were welded together look ugly. They had extra caulking and it didn’t match the door. So, we sent a message to our sales rep that night. He came out the next morning, checked it, on a Saturday and said they were not doing that. Instead, he contacted the installer people and they sent somebody here on a Monday or Tuesday. It was a fast turnaround. The person tried to look at it and see if he could fix it but he couldn’t.
So now, we have reordered a casing. Still, the sliding glass door is amazing because we were struggling with our old one.

Renewal by Andersen came out and went through all the details about the windows and the warranty, and they explained the installation process and how it would go. The representative was very, very knowledgeable, and I felt very informed.
The three-man crew that handled the installation was fantastic. They replaced eight windows and a back door and completed everything in one day. They started at 8:30, and by 5:30 they were cleaned up and gone.
Once everything was finished, the windows looked super, and I was extremely pleased with the result.

My experience with Renewal by Andersen has been great. They’ve done all my windows and patio doors, which is awesome. I especially love the double window in the bedroom because it lets in so much light.
The installation timeline was clear, they were able to move me up and get it done sooner than originally scheduled, which I appreciated. Everyone I interacted with, from the representatives to the installers was respectful, and pleasant. The installers were quick and the service was excellent. The products are expensive but the quality make them worth the investment.

It was great from start to finish. Our salesman from Renewal by Andersen was awesome, supportive, and had great conversations about our best options to the measurements. He was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and very kind. We did three windows and a door. On the install day, my husband said it went without any flaws. They were there early and were done within the day. Everything was cleaned up, they’re beautiful, and the windows look great. I was very happy with the results. It was expensive, but we know it's quality.

I got Renewal by Andersen because of their lifetime warranty and the product itself. I had a French door installed, and the timeline they provided was met exactly. The representative, Michael or Michele was very informative and courteous. The installation itself was excellent and when I first saw the door, I was thrilled. I was happy that I got a new door. Overall, it was a good experience.

We had a storm door installed by Renewal by Andersen. The installation was excellent and the people were in and out in no time. They also did clean up after themselves. I love the door that was put in, and they really did a good job on that. There’s no gaps in it at all.

I had a sliding door installed from Renewal by Andersen. The installation process was very efficient. Two crews came, one for the door and one for the windows.
The quality of the products is good and I was very impressed. My salesperson was good and answered all the questions I had. The customer service throughout scheduling and follow-up was also excellent, and the warranty and support was good.

I bought four double-hung windows from Renewal by Andersen because the other windows I had in my house, which I had for 30 years, were drafty, and they started bowing. I chose Andersen because they looked like a better window. The customer service I got when I purchased was fine, and the installation timeline was okay, except I had to wait for them to fix one window because somebody forgot to transfer the figures correctly. But the other seven windows were perfect, and they came in and put them in.

The quality of the windows and installation is excellent, and I recommend their product. The problem I have is the cost. They tout "no interest" but that is misleading. They sell your loan to a finance company and build the cost of their finance charges into your total cost of the windows. The interest rate the finance company charges is well above what you could get on a home improvement loan from your bank. You are not given that option. If you are able to pay off the finance company before the end of the financing period, you do not get a rebate on the interest charges. RBA should make you aware of this and tell you they sell you loan to a finance company.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of our windows and installation. We apologize for any confusion regarding our financing terms and strive for transparency with our customers. If you have any remaining concerns, we would be happy to discuss them further. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team at any time.

Highly recommend RBA. I had entire townhouse windows and sliding door replaced in two phases a few years ago. I since moved and had RBA replace all my windows and back door in my two story single family house, again in two phases. The crews have been exceptional and the product more than meets expectations. Thomas and the crew with him were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I had PGT windows in Florida but would have preferred RBA but they weren't available. I would purchase again if the need ever comes up.

We initially had Anderson replace 7 windows 5 years ago including a large bay picture window. Our experience at that time was very satisfactory, both with the quality of the windows and also with the installers and the overall installation. We have had one minor request for service and that was handled promptly, as were questions on the proper way to open and reclose window sashes for washing. We just had the remaining 10 windows replaced and the experience was the same - 4 weeks or so for manufacture and then a one-day installation which went very smoothly, even after an 8" snowfall the night before.
The crew was cordial, professional and did a very thorough clean up. The only thing causing me concern is that they are certainly not the cheapest option available and the price we paid for these recent windows was roughly 20% or more than before. Given the quality of the windows, screens, installation and warranty, I think they are worth the price.
Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with us! We're delighted to hear that from your first set of installations to your recent window replacements, our team and products have consistently met your expectations. My aunt had built a house a couple of years ago, and she went with RBA. I've heard of a couple of other people using them, and it looks like it was a little bit cheaper than Pella. So, I went with them. The salesguy was a nice guy. Seemed like he knew his stuff. He gave me some ideas. I knew what I wanted, and then he led me in the right direction. The only thing, I paid half at the time of his visit, and then the other half was due upon installation. Nobody knew the total for the second half because I didn't end up having to have tempered glass. It took some costs off. I haven't paid for my second half yet, and I reached out to my salesman and said, “Somebody gonna tell me how much I owe for sure?” I don't want them coming back and saying, “You didn't pay for the rest of your windows.” The installation was good, all the way around. Everybody was very professional, friendly, and acted like they knew what they were doing.
The windows seem great and I went from having actually cracked and broken windows. So, when the wind would blow in a certain direction, my curtains would blow a foot out. I was sitting here the other night, and one of the south windows was one of the picture windows I had replaced, and I looked over, and I was like, “My curtains aren't moving.” It's so nice. They seem to open and close really smoothly. The installer showed me how to take them out to wash them. They seem to operate really nicely.

I have had Andersen windows for over 45 years. Recently we upgrade all my windows in Florida. The Andersen windows are amazing but the communication afterwards to get final inspection has been a fiasco. Windows installed in September and I am still waiting now in December for closure. I have called every point of contact, even my county inspectors to finalize this process. County inspectors informed me that Andersen is using a third party company for my inspection. As of today no response from Andersen no call backs from Management. I could not recommend them in my area due to poor service.

Our door has always been a problem since we moved here. So we put in a brand-new sliding door by RBA. Everybody was really great. They let me know once the door was ready, ‘cause they had to make the door to fit the space. Once I was notified of that, I received a phone call. I couldn't answer it at the time ‘cause I was driving. Then they sent a text message, and they said, “We could work with you through text.” I said, “Oh, that's fine.” We just texted. They said, “We have availability this day.” It was perfect. One or two days after the text, they could come out. They also said it would take half a day but it didn't take that long. It was a quick installation and everyone was very good with communication. I highly recommend them. Great service, great products and great people.

I had an RBA representative come out a while ago and give their sales pitch, show us what was available, and tell me about the company. It was a six to eight-month time lapse right before we made a decision, and did a little bit more research on other companies, and just didn't really stand out. Then RBA called again, sent the rep back out, and we had made our decision.
The representative that came to the house was very positive. Great guy, very personable. You talk to a sales rep, and you may get a red flag but I never experienced that with him. His first name was Matt. I was dealing with two Matts, so I got their last names messed up. But the sales rep, Matt, took his time, answered any questions I may have, and laid it all out as simply as possible.
The installation went well. I had to work that day. I met the installers that morning when they showed up and started unloading the truck. Did a walkthrough really quickly with them to show them what windows or where, so they could get acclimated to the house. Then, I went to work. I came back that afternoon, and they were wrapping up some of the last windows, putting some of the outside pieces, trim pieces up. And before it got dark or right when it was getting dark, they were done, and they were doing cleanup. And any questions I had about the lead installer, he was very polite, professional, walked around with me to inspect the windows, and addressed anything immediate that I had asked about.
However, the installation manager I never met. He was never on site. I only conversed with him over the phone. The gentlemen who were installing, there was only one guy who could speak English, or who could communicate with me, that was the lead. Sometimes it was hard for me to communicate a little bit, but we got through it. They didn't rush, but there were a few nails that needed to be re-sink. They were standing out a little bit which had to go back over. But, they did a really good job on the trim, overall, but there were a few spots that had some decent amount of gaps in there, but nothing that I couldn't fix with some spackle. Other than that, I would recommend them.

Renewal by Andersen kept us in the loop, informing us how the process was evolving. The 2 gentlemen who installed the doors were absolutely professional!! They had booties wear over their shows so as to not dirty our carpets.

The sunroom had older windows and the seal between the panes had broken and some of the valances had broken. We decided to replace them with the same company that did our house, which was Renewal by Andersen, because we haven't had any problems with the house part of it. The representative we worked with was very nice. He was the same one who did it when we did our house several years ago. The installation went well. In the sunroom, I have a baby grand piano, and they were more than gracious to slide that over to be able to get to the windows. They put the blinds back up to where they would fit and hung the valances back up. Then, they put the piano back in place. So, that was good. We have been very pleased with the windows we got in our house.
The windows are expensive. But if you get the cheaper windows from another company, they don't last as long. We tried Pella windows and they didn't last. We were having problems with them, then they wouldn't change them out for us, which was one of the reasons why we went with the Andersen windows. Renewal kept us updated the entire time. When the windows came in, they let us know. When they were on the way for installation, they called before arriving. So, that was all good. We recommend Renewal by Andersen. If you go with a different company, you may not get the same quality.

Gregory, the salesperson, was amazing. He was great, patient, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions. It always takes a little bit of time to place the order, but I was aware of that. So, there were no unexpected delays in that sense. We had a door and windows done. Most of them are sliding and if you open on the side, it opens a little bit from one side to the other. Everything was very professional. Two people came in for the installation and explained what they were gonna do. We had a little setback with the framing of the windows. What I ordered was different than what we received. But the people fixed it with no issues.
The website is fine but I didn't choose much from it. The presentation of the salesperson and seeing the frames made a big difference. Most of the decisions were made in person. I showed Greg what I liked from the website, and then he brought everything to my house and walked me through all the options. The salesperson is a huge part of the decision. The quality of the product matters and so does the company and its reputation. But having someone professional, knowledgeable, and patient made all the difference, especially since this was my first time dealing with windows. One other competitor and Renewal’s prices were similar. But it's good quality windows. It's an expensive investment, which is why I chose it. And the lifetime guarantee that they offer is huge. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen. It was a good experience.

Renewal by Andersen is reliable and we’ve been using them for a long time. But after a while, we saw gases in between the glass, but we thought it was condensation. We have no idea how to deal with it. We have Andersen sliding glass doors upstairs and downstairs, and they were already installed when we moved into the house and we liked them.
One day, we started feeling a draft coming through the door. I was thinking what I was gonna do. We kept putting it off and then, we went to a fair. The gentleman set up the table with Renewal by Andersen and sold us on it. We took his information and a couple of days later, we contacted Renewal by Andersen. A nice woman came over, sat down with us, gave us all the options, didn't hold back and answered all our questions. She showed us samples and we were hooked. Plus, we had another gentleman come over and take her measurements. We wanted to make sure that his measurements were up to par. And they were all the same. He gave us options and we got not only the door with the draft done, but also the downstairs.
We set up a time and the installers did a door a day, with a whole sliding panel. One six panels and another five panels. And we're happy. But we're still getting that draft from upstairs. So, I'm ruling out that it had anything to do with the doors because they seemed sealed. But Renewal gave me a 20-year warranty, so we called them up. We wanted them to let us know if they could come back and check out the door and see where that draft is coming from. We're just waiting for Dana to get back to us. We called, and she said no one had called. She'll send somebody out or talk to somebody regarding the draft coming through the door.
The workers were professional and handy. There were no complaints, and they went above and beyond. We had a rot on the terrace and the guy brought this to our attention. If it were any other place, the guy would probably say they cannot do the job unless they tag it on. But Renewal's installers did it all at one rate. The workers fixed the problem and built the foundation on top of the terrace where there was rot. My wife and I were very satisfied. Fernando and his team were very professional.
I was outside taking the garbage and our neighbor around the corner said they were looking for a window. I told them that Renewal by Andersen is the guys who do it. I gave them their cards. It's probably a little cold now, but they'll probably be reaching out to them in spring. I told them Renewal did the back and the front, and that it was very good. It took about six hours. But they were very accommodating and neat. They wore their booties and put the drop cloth.
We used to have workers put up a cheap cloth cover in the summer, and it always ended up blowing down. Then all the elements would come through such as the bees and flies. It was frustrating, especially on windy days. With this new setup, they installed the windows solidly. Even with the wind, it stayed in place and never came down.

We saw Renewal by Andersen on TV and a man came out after I called. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was originally only gonna get one window fixed, but since we're older, we figured we’d do it all and get it all done right now. That way, we don't have to worry about it down the line. It was about a month between the sale and the delivery. We got double windows. You can pull them in so you can just clean them right from inside the house. We had wood windows, and they were a little bit warmer. Right now, I don't feel quite as warm as I used to with the other windows in the wintertime. But they're nice. I like them. Renewal by Andersen is pleasant to work with. They're very proficient.

I had a wonderful experience with RBA. We worked with Dwayne, and there are not enough superlatives to explain how wonderful he was. He was excellent. He was not at all pressure. For instance, we had double windows in the front and in our master bedroom. He said, “Have you ever thought about a glider?” Then he showed us what that was and then with the awning, because it's a window over the sink, my husband was saying, “We never opened the window because we can't reach over the sink like this.” He said, “That's why I suggested the awning.” He was just fantastic.
The installers asked what we wanted done first, and we said we would like the kitchen done first. They said, “Fine, we can do that." They did the awning in the kitchen, and they did the patio first. We were informed from the very beginning, right upfront, that they probably could not save the trim around the patio door. When Andy was here to measure it, he said what to use. Because we would have to paint at the end. Lo and behold, the first thing Ethan said, “Yeah, we could do the patio, if that's what you want done.” Very accommodating. They brought the trim along, and he said, “I might be able to save that trim.” It looks perfect.
I had things covered with sheets. I didn't need to do that. They put plastic up in the kitchen. With the patio door, they put it in the living room. With the bedrooms, they could just close that off, but they put the plastic there. Every time he came in, he took his boots off. After the first day, he said, “When I'm done, I'll come and say goodbye.” Ethan was fantastic. I would highly recommend RBA to anybody.

I called, had an appointment, and we sat down and talked. Then we went over what we wanted done, and they showed us a whole bunch of different samples and options, then we talked about each one for each window. During the installation, since it's a construction job, there were big holes throughout the day. But other than that, it went just as they said it would and everything came out exactly as we were shown. So far, the windows are very good. It was not an inexpensive job but I'm satisfied and I don't know if I could do it the same for less or more. Overall, I got a very good salesperson and a great installation crew. I went with RBA because I heard there was a good warranty with them and they were good of quality. They also had what I wanted in terms of the wood on the inside and then the material on the outside that was not wood. Because the previous windows that I had were both wood on the inside and outside and they didn't last as long as I would have wanted them to.
They did a good job. Very considerate. It's a big project. I've been working on this for a while and the people that did the exterior trim did a great job. The people who did the interior trim were very accommodating because they were in the house at that point and that can be a little disruptive. But they made it, overall, it was a very good experience.
As far as the drafts and things like that in the rooms where I had that installed, it seems very good. They operate nice and smooth, up and down. I was told by the woman who works for Keller, that I shouldn't really open them for about a month and get them activated, which I didn't know at first. Nobody had told me that and I had already started opening them because it was getting warm. But other than that, I've kept them closed.
The only thing that I didn't like was the casement window. It's white trim on the outside, and the insert that I got for that window did not match the hardware. The hardware was stone hardware for the interior and the screen had white trim around it and I didn't like the way that looked. So I was told if I wanted to buy another one, I would have to do that, which I did. I haven't gotten it yet. The interior handle was that stone finish and what I got was a screen that was white. It would have looked better in the stone.

I previously had Andersen windows and because of the type of windows that I needed recently, I went with them. I purchased the A300 series, and the installation by their certified contractor was seamless, except for the few issues we’ve had. There is a single locking device on the windows and on two of the windows, pieces just fell out. We didn’t get one of the screens, another was torn and several had gaps that could let bugs in. So, we weren't pleased with any of that. But the quality of service has been very good. It’s not as timely as I would have hoped, though. It took us at least two months just to get the windows, but they told me upfront that it would take that long. The techs also had to come back and replace the weather stripping, so it matched the outside of the frame.
The windows we had before that, which were Andersen, are 38 years old and we never had any issues. And now, the newly installed windows are having issues and that's not good, especially when you pay $30,000 for 10 windows. We could have gotten a lot cheaper windows with better warranties than Andersen Windows. But they were not as good.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with your window project. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issues with the lock devices, misplaced and damaged screens, and your concerns about quality not matching your previous Andersen windows. We appreciate your patience with the longer wait time for delivery and understand how important durability and strong warranty options are when making this kind of investment.

So the advertisement for quality, professionalism, pro installers, doing it right the first time and never having to come back is a lie. You lie in your statements, advertisements and propaganda. You lied when you said and showed me videos of my windows not only being weatherproof but sound proof. The faulty manufacturing, installation and quality of your products was brought to your attention the day of installation when I could hear the works outside the window of my dining room table. I can hear the traffic outside my back door and the metro train 1/2 mile from my home.
Your ADVERTISEMENT AND VIDEO, and Consultant, Nadine, promised me these features. Even though Tim ** denied such claims in my home, I asked him why would I expect these features if they had not been shown to be at the sales pitch? I asked Tim ** if it was part of the marketing that sold me the windows, I expected nothing less. He stated he would ‘do his best but I would not get sound proof windows.’ He however never disputed the fact I saw the 3 videos showing soundproof.
I have over 60 photos, 20 videos, Ring Camera videos and countless emails substantiating I have made these deficiencies and concerns to Renewal by Andersen since the day of Installation. I have kept a copy of this feedback and screenshots of each page to demonstrate my continued effort to get this resolved while Renewal by Andersen continues to treat me as less than because I am female, **, Disabled Veteran, not worthy of their word or simply unethical. 2 February 2026. I had to replace both windows in the house that are both exactly the same size. Renewal happened to be in the neighborhood after doing a couple of windows and were looking for new business. Initially, they said it could take up to four months to build the windows at the factory since they’re custom-sized and that there’d be a one-day installation once the windows are done. The installation went outstandingly. Nate came and did the installation of one window in less than an hour. The second window upstairs took him about an hour and a half because he couldn’t get to the outside to seal it up.
The only issue I have is when I close the double-slider window a little hard, the back panel will sometimes bump open a quarter inch. I have to pay attention when I’m pulling the window shut to make sure it actually seals properly. When people found out I had my windows done, they asked me who did my windows, and I gave the reference and told them it’s a little on the pricey side because they’re custom-made windows. But it is well worth every penny I have seen so far.
Thank you so much for sharing your kind review. We're thrilled to know that the swift and exemplary installation by Nate met your expectations. Thank you for entrusting us with your home’s updates and for recognizing the value our custom windows offer. Enjoy the enhanced beauty and functionality of your new windows!

When we remodeled our house years ago, we put in 400 Series of Andersen Windows. They're good, warm and tight and help a bit with soundproofing. However, the windows are expensive. The windows that I recently got were two windows that have never been replaced. I put in the 100 Series window.
I had dealt with Joe and he did an excellent job. He was very good. I was very pleased with the quality of the work, communication, prep beforehand and clean up afterward. They did a great job. I'd highly recommend them.

The follow through after the installation was excellent. They don’t just install and forget you. You are in touch with the company after that to make sure you were satisfied. And I am. I would recommend renewal by Andersen if you want high-quality and a job well done.

Renewal by Andersen saturates the ads and the people that I've heard speak about them always said good things. I did some research and everything I read on the internet that I could find, most of it was good stuff. This was the first time we've done business with Renewal by Andersen and their customer service was very good. When they came out and did the presentation, the guy was very thorough. He had the model and he went through all the tests to show me. That was very good. We walked around together, him and I, and we discussed some things about the different windows and certain things about the windows in which room. The guy was an ex-military and I'm ex-military, so the conversation turned into military conversation.
I felt comfortable at that time and decided to choose Renewal by Andersen at that point. I had them install 13 windows. They're double-hung and I can swing both of them in, but one of them is a picture window. It's just solid. I really like the windows themselves. Renewal is a little on the pricier side, but after watching them do everything and what I can tell from the windows, I would say that they deserve 5 stars. Still, it's hard to say because of the wear and tear and what it will look like on the outside after rains and storms, but time will tell. Other than that, right now, the windows look very nice and I'm very happy. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen to people.

We were in Blanco at a farmer's market, and Renewal by Andersen had a table set up, and there was a young lady there. I talked to her and scheduled an appointment. The guy that came out and talked to us and showed us the windows was a really nice guy. Two guys came out and put the windows in, and they were really nice and got everything done. The lady that had called me to schedule the appointment said it could take up to six hours, and it only took four. We only got four windows done right now. They look so good. We were pleased. I want the rest of the house done.
I'm in love with the windows. We have a large living room from the front of the house to the back of the house, and in the front, there are three windows. The seal on the window in the middle was broken, and it got foggy in there and it wouldn't come clean, so we decided on something where the windows on the outside open and the one in the middle doesn't. We also did our kitchen window above our sink, and it was a good sized window. The middle of that window didn't open, but the little side windows open up. The window we chose was one that doesn't open in the middle, but the two sides open to the inside and slide together.
The only thing is I was a little bit disappointed with the company that they finance through. We got a letter before they came out with the windows, saying that something about our application hadn't been completed, when using technology and all these automated calls where you don't talk to a live human being. It was asking me to punch in some account number or invoice number. When I would do it, it said it didn't recognize it, so I had to get ahold of Edgar, the one that came out and did the presentation. He looked it up and he told me on his end, it showed everything being complete. Plus the account number that he had was different from the number that was on the letter. It all got straightened out and I've already made a payment so we're all good.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with Renewal by Andersen! We're thrilled to hear that your interactions from meeting us at the farmers' market booth to the seamless in-home presentation exceeded your expectations. It's delightful to know how much your new windows have transformed your family room and kitchen, addressing past issues and enhancing aesthetics and functionality. We hope you enjoy the views from your new windows and can't wait to help you with future projects!

I had Renewal by Andersen replace 30 windows. I called them to make an appointment. The salesperson came out, showed us the various products and colors that they had, and we talked about what my future plans were for either keeping or selling the house, and then I made my decisions. Somebody came out to do the final measurements before production. I was given an install date, which was four weeks earlier than I thought it would be. They came out with a team of eight people early in the morning, they worked all day, and finished right as the sun was going down. As far as the quality of the windows, it's excellent. They are expensive, but I knew they would be. So, given the quality, it is borderline worth the money, but it is worth the investment.
Thank you so much for taking time to leave us this great review. We are so excited to hear that your large project progressed along smoothly and even ran ahead of schedule! We really appreciate you choosing Renewal by Andersen for your window replacement. Enjoy them for many more years to come!

We considered the energy savings that we felt like we were getting if we went with Renewal by Andersen. We also decided to go with them based upon the longevity of the company, its history, and the product that they demonstrated. A person who used another company told me that they were pretty happy with what they got, but the person they employed to do the windows got the windows from a certain company, and that company that installed them were no longer around. I thought that if the company that installed them isn't around anymore and there were issues with installation, the warranty would go out the window. But that didn't seem to be the case with Andersen. Then, I got recommendations from neighbors to these other companies, and for one of the neighbors, the color of her windows that she chose were a little faded after 2 years. Also, I just liked Renewal by Andersen, so we hired them.
They gave us a month timeline for the installation, then the windows ended up coming in and being completed quicker than they anticipated. So, with the weather that was favorable, they were able to move up the installation date by a few weeks. So far, we haven't had our Andersen windows very long, but we're happy with the quality. They're everything that Andersen's reps said they were going to be. There was one sash that had a scratch on it and I didn't notice it, but the guy that installed it noticed it, and they've already ordered a replacement, so I have an anticipated scheduling date to install it.
Other than that, my new windows are beautiful. In comparison to other companies, Andersen's price was a little high and I wish that they had been cheaper. But it's money well spent if you're paying for value and safety. I would also recommend Renewal by Andersen. Their customer service was good. I have seen reviews that say you'll get a lot of follow-up and you'll get a lot of checks, emails or calls, and that was true. But I was not irritated by that and I appreciated the communication.
Thank you for sharing your remarkably detailed review and your positive experience with Renewal by Andersen. We're delighted to hear that you valued the durability, energy efficiency, and comprehensive warranty of our products, which aligns with the estimates you'd initially recognized. It's excellent to know our team surpassed your expectations by completing the installation ahead of schedule and preemptively handling the scratched sash issue, reflecting our commitment to meticulous attention.

The windows that I got from RBA are gorgeous, easy to clean, and made our home beautiful. They’re energy efficient too. They're beyond what our expectations were. They're easy to slide up and down, open, close, they lock, and they look great on the outside. My French doors are literally like angels humming when they open. They're just so gorgeous. We also got the best cost for what we received.
The first representative made us an appointment, and then canceled it the same day. Then when we finally moved out to Oklahoma, I had gotten a call back because I said we'd be moving soon, and they called me within the timeframe I'd asked them to. We made an appointment and they came out. We had the best experience.
They gave us a window of five to eight weeks and on seventh week, they were calling to have the installation set. The install took two days. One of the windows was broken. We were taking the plastic up and noticed that it was cracked. A replacement was ordered, which is going to be installed on December 19th. The sales guy was fantastic.
The installation guys were also courteous. They kept everything clean, which we were expecting to have to clean the house after they're done. They had to do two days and they stayed in a town that's 30 miles away and left all their equipment in my garage. They cleaned up afterwards. These guys were fantastic.

I was checking another company and Renewal by Andersen. Customer service was big and the other company had some challenges with not following up on things, which I didn't encounter at all with Renewal by Andersen. I also tried to look at quality and all the perks involved. Andersen was kind of pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for. I even investigated why did they have a door in Home Depot. It was explained to me how it was what that particular company wanted and that it would take longer to get the product if it was ordered from Home Depot.. So, there was a difference in buying a Home Depot door that said Andersen and a door directly from them. But it doesn't mean that it wasn't a quality door.
Aside from that, I have an aunt that has a beautiful multi-family home in New York. She is a diehard Andersen fan and she believes in quality. So, when I was trying to decide which company to go with, she pushed me to go with them and said that the door I would get from them would outlive me. My husband also preferred Andersen. So, I decided to use them and I have not regretted my decision at all.
My salesman wasn't pushy. He knew I was on a budget, but he tried to think of everything that would be nice to have. He allowed me to short-change myself without compromising anything and she suggested options that were good. I'm happy with everything but I wish their price could come down just a little. It's a bit of a strain, and when you're a senior citizen, discounts between 10% and 20% are all you're going to get, but when you're talking about $10,000, that adds up. The cost of my door was $10,700, so it was really $11,000.
I got one sliding glass door and I love it. The quality of the door is great. Back in the day, you always had to put some kind of bar down when you closed the door. Now, they have that lock on there, which I love. I had a French door before which had the blinds on the inside, and Andersen told me they stopped doing that. And while I would prefer the French door that they had available, it was a little bit out of my price range, even though it was a beautiful door. Other than that, our sliding door was very professionally installed. We had some windy days and it was quiet as a church mouse. Those were the kind of things I was looking for.
I also love the guys that Renewal by Andersen sent out. They had somebody designated to handle every aspect of the whole process and there was nothing missed. Their rep, Sarah, followed up about the county wanting to come out and evaluate, and she made the arrangements for that. It was not something they had to do, but I was very pleased about that.
Thank you for sharing your insightful review and for choosing Renewal by Andersen for your home upgrade. We're delighted to hear that your experience, from the modern features of your sliding glass door to the seamless coordination provided by Sarah, exceeded your expectations. It's gratifying to know that our products' quality and the extraordinary customer service matched the reputation your aunt spoke of. We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding senior and veteran discounts and will certainly take it into consideration. We hope that your expectations continue to be met, and you enjoy the functional beauty these enhancements bring to your home. If there’s anything else we can assist you with, feel free to reach out. Well, not positive. They sheared off my spicket outdoors and never told me. Failed to put several screws in on a very large double window, and ended up putting a long screw threw the center or mullion of the two windows. The weights were not built sufficiently to hold the weight of the windows and 8/10 were replaced. One window still comes down on its own after a 2nd replacement of the weights and they have insisted they come out to take videos before replacing it a week after they replaced them second time.
They admit the weights were not sufficient d/t design flaw and I waited to allow time for mfg to catch up and get it right before having them come replace the majority, since the two downstairs failed after the first replacement. They have failed to communicate that they were not coming to repair, just showed up and said they were taping when it was done and noted in their files last year. Now there are leaks at the latch spots in 4 of the large windows. What a waste of 25k The only good thing I can say is they have saved on my bills, but my home had builder-grade windows previously. I would go with 400 series Andersen that are still fibrex and find a certified installer to do the work. They are a disappointment!

We had three windows with wood rot that needed replacing. An Andersen Windows certified contractor came out, measured the windows and had to turn the order in, and Andersen Windows made the windows. Then they called and set up a time to install the windows. During the process of installing, one of the new windows broke and they had to remake it. That window had to have wood placed in it in a temporary fashion until they had the new replacement window.
We feel we were misled in the product that we were given, therefore disappointed. We now realize there are two ways that you replace a window. One way is you remove the entire window and you put in a new one that looks like the window that we originally had, which was under what we thought we were going to have done. Replacement windows, like Andersen installs, are windows placed inside of the frame of the existing window. It's an easier install, but your window is now about 3 inches smaller than it used to be. Therefore, it doesn't match the other windows in the house. That was not made clear to us when we signed on for having the window installation done.
We contacted the contractor and said that we were dissatisfied with the outcome because this was not what we expected to happen. But those complaints fell on deaf ears. They said they showed us the window, but we told them we didn't realize they were making the window smaller by inserting a window inside of a window. We will never use them again and we've encouraged other people not to use them, or at least know what they're getting.
We greatly value your feedback and apologize for this experience. At Andersen, we are committed to addressing any concerns related to our manufacturing process. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further. Please contact our customer service team at 888-888-2020 so that we can address your concerns. The windows we purchased from Andersen are 12 feet high and 4 feet wide. They're huge and not cheap. We live at 9,000 feet and our winds the other day were 50 miles an hour up there. We just can't have something cheap. One of our windows cracked. That's why we had to replace the four top ones.
The windows they took out were some flimsy things, and the Andersen windows weighed 400 pounds and they had to carry those things up those stairs, then they had to put them up 20 feet in the air. To haul something like that all the way up there is like, "I don't know how you're gonna do it." But they did it, and everything was fine, plus the windows are absolutely beautiful. The difference of the windows versus the windows that we didn't replace is huge. Like when the sun's coming in, the temperature of the Andersen windows is not as hot than the ones below. When it gets cold, it's the same thing.
The people who installed these windows were also good. We got along with them excellently. They also estimated three days to do these four windows and it took six days.

I would recommend RBA. My only concern was that the guy who came and measured originally and was selling, didn't mention that I would have to pull my blinds down until the second time he came out to measure for the windows. At that point, I was looking at an additional $700 to pull the blinds down and put the blinds up. It probably would have given me some pause. I may have even waited till the following year. Some of those things, you gotta remember to mention prior to the purchase. But otherwise, it was a great experience.
Thank you for sharing your great experience with Renewal by Andersen. We're delighted to hear that the window installation policy gracefully aligned with your work commitments and that the high-quality performance of the windows exceeded expectations. However, we're sorry for the oversight regarding your blinds, which unexpectedly increased your expenses. Assuring ease and transparency is important for us, and your comments guide us towards refinement. We're grateful to have you as our customer and hope you continue to enjoy the enhancements provided by your new windows.

I informed Paul (installation lead) that I prefer to keep several windows slightly open for ventilation, and he noted that this practice could help mitigate carbon monoxide concerns. Initially, I did not give much thought to his comment, but the following day I began experiencing significant discomfort, whether lying down or sitting.
On the first day, I managed to function despite feeling dizzy and nauseated. By the second day, my symptoms had intensified, prompting me to remain in bed for most of the day. It occurred to me that the issue might be related to window ventilation, so I started opening the windows further, as much as possible given the cold and rainy weather conditions.
I have since conducted research on this topic. A precautionary notice from the company about potential carbon monoxide risks from window installation would have been helpful, especially as someone who suffers from vertigo—my symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and weakness, have become more pronounced.
To address the situation, I am exploring ways to eliminate indoor gases and have purchased carbon filter air purifiers specifically for this purpose. Due to inclement weather and winter temperatures, fully opening all windows is not feasible. Nonetheless, I have left several windows ajar throughout the house to promote air circulation. While this approach has improved conditions in most rooms, the bedroom remains problematic. Waking up each morning with severe vertigo has been particularly challenging.
I am otherwise very satisfied with the windows themselves, the quality of installation, and the company's service. However, this development was unexpected, and the associated costs to remedy the situation are considerable. While it may be difficult to address such health considerations during the sales process, for individuals like myself, these issues can be debilitating and warrant careful consideration—particularly as I am 68 years old and uncertain if the carbon filter air purifiers will resolve the problem. Given the significant investment in these windows, I am concerned about the long-term implications for my health and overall quality of life.
We are glad to hear that your project went smoothly and the quality of the product is meeting your expectations. Thank you again for leaving your review.

I am reviewing Renewal by Andersen Richmond. I paid $12K for a replacement set of patio doors and expected doors with no quality issues at that price. The sale and financing portions were very well done. Installation was also pretty easy after a lengthy production time. Problem came when I noticed a large area of small dust like debris that looked like a spider web inside one of the windows when the morning sun came thru. I called customer service and they took pictures. I received a call saying my replacement "doors" were on order.
When install happened, only one door was installed - not the one I had complained about. Further discussion resulted in more technician picture taking, but there was never anyone who could arrive early morning to capture the "dust" in the morning light. However, door that was replaced has an interior (between the glass) mark and they are denying it was there when installed. Not sure how I can be responsible for a between the glass defect.
Renewal advertises that they provide the single point (install, manufacture) responsibility, but I feel that is actually a negative if hiding behind their own product. I have not found them to stand by their product quality. I found their various departments just put up the same walls as separate companies without the incentive of satisfying a customer that a supplier normally has. I've requested that my complaint be acknowledged by the manager, but they will not provide any names or phone numbers of supervisors or quality personnel who are making these determinations. I had planned to follow up with replacement windows, but I don't feel the "quality" or customer service is anywhere near the extra price. I've even gone to pointing out the flaws in the doors to anyone that comes into my home so they don't fall victim.
Thank you for sharing your detailed review of your experience with us. We apologize for the ongoing issues you've encountered with your patio doors.
We strive to ensure quality and seamless handling from start to finish, and it's clear we missed the mark here. Resolving product and service disappointments are paramount to us. I've had my windows for 3 years and there is a window that I noticed recently that has not performed like it should. I contacted Renewal by Andersen and they forwarded my complaint to their warranty department. That representative asked a couple of questions and said they will not be sending anyone to even verify what we are experiencing. He said they will put my complaint on a watch list and respond if it fails according to their standards. These windows are very expensive and we bought them based on the efficiency and warranty that the salesman gave us. I called the main office in Sacramento and told them the explanation for not even sending a representative out to look was unsatisfactory. That office sent my complaint to a manager of the warranty department and said she would be calling me back. That was 3 days ago and no call.
We have 2 windows that face the South and the other window is not experiencing a problem and I explained this to both representatives. The fact that I can't get a person out to even look at my window after 3 years with a 20-year warranty really make me mad. They were real concerned during install about getting a 5 star rating, but there has never been a follow up after they got that. They had some problems during my install and I held them to fixing them before I would give that 5 star rating. Now windows are installed and paid for and warranty, well that seems to be like every other warranty we've had. You pay for it, but you can't use it. I will update this if they actually make good on my complaint. For now, my recommendation would be don't be fooled by credibility.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the window you mentioned and the challenges you've faced in getting service under the warranty. We understand your frustration, especially with such a significant investment based on the assurance of efficiency and reliability.
Rest assured, we take this feedback seriously. We'll ensure that it's escalated to the appropriate department for review. Customer satisfaction is a priority, and we regret that we've fallen short in this instance. If possible, please monitor for any updates from the manager, as a follow-up should be forthcoming.
Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction soon.

I went with Eagle Windows years ago and they were a piece of crap. Andersen Windows bought Eagle Windows and the company that I went with is the only place in the state of Minnesota that is certified to install Andersen Windows. I'm glad I went with them because the guy who installed the windows explained to me the difference between Andersen Windows, Pella and Marvin. So I think we've got superior windows. However, they took almost six weeks to get. I was also not happy about the amount of time it took to get a simple product like the handle that people use to crank the window out. One came broken and it took weeks to get the replacement for it. Still, I know it wasn't the guy's fault that the part took so long
The owner of the construction company was top-notch. I really liked him. He was really good at explaining things. He was a little hard to get ahold of sometimes, but not terrible. I didn't like that there was some carelessness on the part of the install though. They didn't protect my countertop when they installed the windows. I had my cabinets that had just been installed and I see where they marred the cabinet. It's minor, but I know it's there and I know they did it. The guy also had dropped something when he tried to do something with the window and he paid to get it re-enameled for me. He said, "I can't believe I did that. I always tell my staff to protect it and here I'm the one who did it." I know he felt really bad about it and he made it right.
Meanwhile, the stucco on the outside of the house on one of the windows doesn't look the same. It looks like there's a bit of a gap now between the stucco and the window. I forgot to ask guy about that, but the others do not look like that. The others look perfectly fine. Overall, going with this company was expensive, but considering how expensive everything is, I thought it was going to even be more expensive. I had no idea how much something like this was gonna run. My husband had more realistic ideas and he still thought it was expensive. I know we got the top-of-the-line window, but I don't know if I would do that for the rest of the house because they were $5,000 a piece, which shocked me.

Renewal's presentation was a little long, tedious and too high pressure. I assumed that they would have good installation. The installers were nice enough, but the installation was really bad. It went quickly. They brought a whole bunch of people in and it was just slam, bam. It was not a professional job. I had a bunch of other windows installed by somebody else and there was no comparison.
And not only that, some of the windows that came in were defective and wrong. After the installation, we left them like they were. They did get the correct octagon window. The first one came without the grids in it that matched the other windows in the same room. I waited a few months to get the correct one and they had to take the wrong one out and put the other one in.
If the price had been less, then I would have expected that type of service. I was just not happy.

Beware!!! I purchased 4 windows and a sliding door from Anderson. They were installed in aug 2025. It is now the end of oct and they are still dodging my calls. Things to know… You will be inundated with calls, emails and text messages. None of the calls or text messages will come up as Anderson. They are just Rando numbers. If you have any window dressings beware! I have wood shutters in 2 windows, a hunter douglas silhouette roller in another, and hanging shutter doors that slide on the sliding door. New windows replaced Millard double panel windows.
The sales guy and the expect measurement guy never mentioned anything. Upon install, the installed mentioned each window and slider had to be “pushed out” in order to clear all the window dressings. I was assured by the sales guy that all windows would be flush with the trim. He made a point to tell me this, as my Millard windows leaked. They had an overhang that went over the Tim. He mentioned how anything that is not flush, catches the water and can lead to leaks. Each window sticks out a different amount. This was brought to my attention after all my old windows were removed! What am I supposed to do at that point?
After the windows are installed, they are adamant that you sign the paperwork saying the job is significantly completed. Anything still outstanding will be handled, but the majority of work is done. I wish I hadn’t signed the paperwork! Because now no one cares if you’re happy or not, the financing is handed over to the third party company, and Anderson doesn’t care. It took 1 month to get the touch up work completed. They say 1 week.
They messed with my sliding shutter doors and they were hitting. They sent someone to look at it, again a month later. Said it was my issue. I’ve had those shutters for 30 years. They never hit and scratched each other before. Weeks later they sent someone to fix, and after continuing to lie to me that they didn’t change anything, they realized they moved the tracks, causing the sliding doors to hit.
Sales guy came out to check on windows and see how they were pushed out. He was surprised, then said it was because of the window dressing, then actually remembered how he specifically said they would be flush with the trim…after a little reminding he remembered! He said he had thoughts on remedies, and would let me know after he talked to his people, I’ve followed up, but he apparently he has moved on. It’s been over 2 months since installation!
They say you get assigned a concierge, who handles any issues. Mine left on vacation the day of my install. Surprisingly , never heard from her after the install. She didn’t help coordinate or schedule install of sliding door foot lock that was on back order, touch up paint, issue with sliding shutter doors, etc. And if you finance, be careful. They send loan approval to multiple companies. Be prepared to get put on some of their email lists.
When I got final copies of the loan docs, prior to install, they did not spell out payments and interest free for a year. When I called Anderson, they bounced me back to the finance company, who bounced me back to Anderson. Very frustrating. Bottom line, for a premium company that charges an arm and a leg for their product, they overpromise and underdeliver! And once they have your money/significant work completion doc, you're on your own.

See what needs to be replaced so we can figure out a price in case you win." I told her, "Can’t you contact me if I do win to do that. I don’t really want someone coming to my house because I don’t trust that you guys are not gonna try to sell me something." She says, "Don’t worry. We don’t do that" so I sit fine. I gave her my address.
She asked me if I have doors that need to be replaced. I told her, "Yes a couple different doors." She said, "We only do entryway doors." I said, "What’s an entryway door? Is that a front door?" and then she repeats herself. I tell her, "One of the doors that needs to be replaced is a bedroom door. Is that considered an entryway door?" Then she says, "Do you have any other doors that need to be replaced?" I said no. Only two. She asks, "What about your windows?" I said all my windows are new except for one. I asked her about doing the bedroom door. She says. "I don’t know. I’ll call you back." Hangs up and then never calls me.
I know for fact, I’ll never use this company because their staff is obviously unprofessional. They shouldn’t be asking people personal information such as addresses and phone number just because they entered a contest and trying to talk them in common to their house and invading their privacy just in case they win a contest. I can't say anything bad about Renewal by Andersen.
A year earlier, I had already looked at what my door would cost at a building supply store. And I paid that same price to Andersen. I wrote a check and they did whatever they did. I didn't have to find a contractor or get a building permit. They were accessible by email instantly. I asked if they could do the install earlier because I was having a party and they were able to do that.
The young men who came to install were pleasant, polite, efficient and they worked like they knew what they were doing like they've done it before. It took all day. They had to go off and widen some things because of the way my door was. They also got the inspector to come two weeks ago. The installers are coming back to finish the boards that had to be left open for the inspection.
This door is so solid and it's double pane. They told me it would take a semi to drive through it. I feel really good about this.
Barabara, thank you for your kind words! We are so glad to hear you are enjoying all the light and noise reduction provided by your new door! We also want to thank you for taking the time to recommend us to people in your life, what a great honor it is to have a loyal customer like you on our side. We hope you continue to enjoy your quiet, sunshine-filled view from your new Renewal by Andersen entry door!

The installation was good, but we’re not happy with the product because we did not get what we ordered. We were supposed to have windows that slid open fully and they only slid partially. Same with the screens. They’re stationary.
We had originally ordered impact windows but we were told we can’t do the shutters because of the size of the window, and so we had to go with the mesh. I was fine with it, but Renewal by Andersen called back again and said they can’t do it and would have to do the Miami-Dade code. I asked if it was going to affect how the windows are going to slide open, which even their design consultant suggested, and it was still wrong. Through the whole process, every time I would talk to somebody, I would ask if I could get a drawing of how these windows are going to work and they never provided me with it.
This whole process took seven months, also because we got affected by the hurricane. We are now in this stage where I have called the representative that we’ve been working with and he is aware of the problem. He came out a week ago and he’s looking at what can be done because it has been determined that they can’t provide the windows that we want after the wrong ones were installed.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback and past experiences with Renewal by Andersen. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused during your installation process and the confusion regarding window specifications and features, like the partial sliding windows and stationary screens. Delivering a positive experience is our top priority, and it appears we've fallen short in your case.
We acknowledge your frustration with the prolonged timeline and lack of readily available project images or schematics. Rest assured, your recount will be thoroughly examined by our team who is committed to seeking a resolution.

We ordered slider windows, slider doors, and one regular door for the front entrance from Renewal by Andersen. They said it'll take about a month to be done from when we ordered and they were pretty accurate about it. The installation was seamless. A whole bunch of people came in. They protected all the floors and things that might get dusted and they were thorough with all that.
The quality is nice, but this product is not perfect. There were a couple of screens and one sliding screen door that had to be redone. The installers told me that right away. So, they're coming in at the same time to do the front door, because that was a different type of job.

The team from Renewal that installed our windows was amazing. They did a fabulous job. The leader of the team was very encouraging. There was a young man who was new and was learning how to do the installation, and the leader was extremely positive and gave lots of praise and positive reinforcement. I didn't hear one word of frustration or irritation from any of them. That was a nice experience.
The windows they installed seem very good. The only drawback we saw so far were the awning windows. Sometimes when you crank down the handle, you have to crank it hard in order to get the handle to realign with the slot that it's supposed to fit into. And when we tried to do that, screws popped out of one of the windows.
I sent an email to Renewal and one of their technicians stopped by. He and my husband went outside and were able to look at it. They were able to put the screws back in, but it makes me a little nervous any time I'm tightening down those awning windows because I don't want to damage them.
Overall, the customer service provided by Renewal has been great.

May 2, 2025, the salesman arrived, Jared. With NO sample on hand, he showed my husband and I Renewal by Andersen windows. We were interested in the double hung because of the convenience of the tilt-window feature. For 8 average-sized double-hung size, the cost was over $27K...a little steep but we went for quality. Since we never got to "touch or try out" even a sample, we had no idea that they are more of a "single-hung' than a double-hung. The reason is...in order to pull down the top window, you must push down on the bottom with your fingers behind the top sash! Then...if you have no fingernails, you can squeeze your fingers at the top to pull that window down...NO strip or anything to grab onto.
I read a review from Sept 21, 23 and on Oct 2, 23, concerning this "defect"... customer service said that "it will be looked into further...HA!" Beyond that, nothing has changed. Otherwise, the windows are great, some still don't lock right & I was charged $50 each for little stoppers so the windows could be left open a couple of inches for air as a "security" on the first floor. (RIP-OFF). Then, from the installers throwing everything out the windows, they broke my electrical cover on the front of the house.
This was ALL conveyed to "customer (non) service" with no results. Yes, the double-hung windows can open with ONE finger but wait till you TRY to close them. We are of the "older" generation and tired of being treated as though we don't know anything. Jared called me saying he DID bring a sample...NO HE DIDN'T...he deceived us as far as I'm concerned... SO BUYER BEWARE!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, although I truly wish it had been a more positive one. I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you faced regarding the functionality of our double-hung windows, and your overall experience. We have forwarded this constructive feedback to the pertinent team for review. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team with any additional concerns, Margaret.

I placed my order for a new door in June and was assured by the salesperson that the door would arrive and be installed prior to my due date in late September. This did not happen. In fact, his promise had never even been communicated to the customer care team. Every time I communicated with the customer service team, I had to explain my situation again because they apparently didn’t take any notes in my files about anything.
It turns out that the door did arrive before my due date, but because they didn’t check up on the due date, installation prior to my due date was not possible. I made the appointment for installation and made arrangement for someone else to be there in case my husband and I were in the hospital with our newborn. I was assured that nothing would need to be signed at the time of installation. Once again, I was lied to. The installation time required a signature and had never been told that I would likely not be there. I was also told that they would give me a week or two after installation before following up as I would be in the hospital or caring for a newborn. Again this was a lie. They called me twice while I was in the hospital. Overall, the customer service was horrible, dishonest, and disrespectful. It’s a shame because the door itself is very nice.

I spent tens of thousands of dollars to have a worse house situation. It’s ridiculous. I am told by the company that the windows are good, that I just ordered windows smaller than my building frame—and by contract, they only cover the windows, not the way that the windows interact with my house framing. Yet I ordered replacement windows not smaller windows! And why would they insert windows that are too small for the window frame—when they measured twice to make a secure fit?! This is bad business, and I am completely unsatisfied by the lack of follow-up and outright dismissal of my issues. No one will help me fix this issue and my home is now compromised.

It was a little more expensive than what I thought it was gonna be, but they told me that upfront.
The installation crew was fantastic. One of the guys showed me everything he did. He showed me every mistake my other contractor made and he fixed everything. My original contractor put four different sets together and didn't have the right measurements. Renewal had the exact measurement. They had a quarter of an inch to get everything in place, and everything went in smooth and they shimmed, caulked and leveled. He did a beautiful job on it. It really looks nice. The doors look good. They're composite instead of wood, so it should last another 25 years.

Summary. I hired Renewal by Andersen after a sales rep visited my home on March 21, 2004 and showed a small sample that made the outside view look green. The rep assured me the installed windows would match the sample and reduce heat in my front room. The installed windows were neither green-tinted nor did they reduce the heat as promised.
What happened. I asked for tinted windows for the kitchen, living room, and sliding glass door; the rep showed a small sample that turned the view green and repeatedly promised the installed product would match. After installation there was no green tint; Renewal by Andersen later confirmed they do not sell fully green-tinted windows. When I called the company the same day the rep returned and denied ever showing a green sample. Other company reps also told me the green sample did not exist. The windows did not darken the view and did not make the front room any cooler in late afternoons.
Company response and resolution. Renewal by Andersen offered two remedies: apply a green tint coating to my new windows or install darker screens. I chose the darker screens. The offered solutions did not match the original assurances and did not resolve the heat problem to the degree promised. Impact. My front room remains uncomfortably hot in the late afternoon. I spent significant time contacting the company, hosting multiple reps, and visiting the main office to pursue the issue. The sales promises were inconsistent with the product delivered and multiple reps denied showing the sample I was shown. Recommendation. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances from Renewal by Andersen sales reps. Get exact product samples and written confirmation of the installed product and its performance before signing a contract. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Renewal by Andersen for tinted windows. Karen

Still not repaired.

We had windows replaced three years ago, and a young man came, knocked on the door, and offered for someone to come and take a look at our windows and tell us what might need to be taken care of. Our house is now over 30 years old. And a lady came out and did that. We were very concerned about one particular one, and so we contracted with Renewal then, and we're pleased with the service. So, that's why I called again this time.
We did 12 windows. These are tall windows with smaller windows across the top, but they were six pieces on each, doubled. They are in place so far. The only issue that we have is the grout on the outside is smeared under the bottom of one of them.
However, the price has increased significantly, and we did not have to have the smaller windows over the top replaced when I replaced the others in my kitchen to match. This time, we did. I'm not happy about the increase.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It's wonderful to hear that you were impressed with the quality of our windows and our team's thorough installation process. I like the fact that Andersen has a quality name to it. We put several thousands of dollars' worth of windows about two years ago, and then this time, we had about half that many dollars-wise put in. The folks did a did an excellent job for us. They told us that if we brought somebody else to them that there'd be a couple $100 incentive for us.
Their people seem to communicate well. The timeline was one of the things I bargained for. A half or third down is a bit steep when they can't keep their timelines. I know they have to manufacture them and that they're saving beaucoup dollars by manufacturing custom-wise. But they book so many places and they get behind. I was bargaining with the salesman and we hustled over the amount of money down. It was a tough but enjoyable negotiation. I got them to come off at 50% down. So I got some minor discounts on them, too. These are discounts that they give everyone. But if I hadn't have asked for them, I wouldn’t have gotten them.

There were some things that had poor craftsmanship but Renewal by Andersen came back and fixed them. But I shouldn't have to point that out. We can all clearly see it wasn't done well. They could have just did it right from the jump. It required me to stay home a second day from work, which was an inconvenience. The installer also needs to come back again because the lock came in installed upside down. It wasn't his fault but they had to order a new lock.
The front door was scratched. The paint panel was scratched. So the installer took some kind of spray paint and just sprayed it. To anybody else, it probably was fine. But this was a $50,000 job. So they're gonna come back and replace the panel of the front door. I asked Renewal by Andersen if they could they just come back when they got the panel and the lock and just do it in one day? Which, originally, they had said they could do that. But then the installer asked if he could just come this week to do the lock. So, that's what they're doing. So far, the customer service has been pretty informative. Most things have been quick and easy to reach.

The crank mechanism used to open the windows is exposed to the elements allowing dirt, snow, rain to enter the window frame from below. Trying to get something done is almost impossible. 5 stars for the apparent fine quality of the product. But a few nitpicks: 1) One of the plastic latches which releases the swing-out-for-cleaning feature doesn't work. The installer said to give it 24 hours for the spray-foam insulation to set up before worrying about it. Sadly, it didn't "fix itself". 2) We had crank-open casement windows installed in the kitchen, and nobody bothered to notice the fact that one can't be opened because the crank is too close to the sink faucet! This oversight REALLY rankles, give the cost of this project.
3) In our area, City Permit Inspectors require that certain stickers remain on the windows until the inspection is complete. We were unaware of this and removed most of them before the inspection. 4) The caulking on one of the windows' exteriors was applied somewhat sloppily. The installer blamed the hot weather (it was a typical summer day in Southern California). Hopefully touchup paint will help make that area look a little better.

Renewal By Andersen is a great company who install amazing products that work better than advertised and are very nice to work with. They installed the windows in 1 day as promised. When it comes to homes 100+ years old, I understand that there may be some damage to the surrounding window area. They did tell us that there may be some damage and that we would have to fix that ourselves. The installers even tried to fix some of the damage with materials that they had brought from their own home. It did not work sadly, but the fact that they would even try speaks volumes to their character and is an amazing testament to how good the people at this company are. They did everything they said they were going to do and the results are stunning. I understand that any window company working on 100+ year old homes would run into issues and that this was kind of unavoidable.
I get that though I am still trying to process it fully given what we are now left to fix ourselves. Their service, their workers, their products are amazing. Cannot stress that enough. But I do feel like this is a good example to look at for people with 100+ year old homes to consider. We had no real picture or concept that this kind of damage could be what we could face when all was said and done. The damage done are some small gaps in the walls and 1 particular hole in the wall that is about 9 inches long and 5 inches wide. Hopefully this gives others more insight when considering a company to go with for new windows.

We currently have an Andersen screen door, which we love. Our condo had some flooding damage from Helene, so we had to replace our screen door. We also had to replace the big, interior door, so to go with Andersen again and replace it with another Andersen screen door. Up until installation, everything seemed to be fine. The head guy would answer my phone calls and text messages. He was on top of things and right there to answer my questions. Prior to the installation, they said they will make the door look good. After it was all done, it was not acceptable.
I had the installer come out, and I said I just needed the main door and the Andersen door replaced. He said, "No problem." It came in five weeks later. I live in Michigan, and it's in our Florida condo. I'm going back in two and a half weeks. There are gaps all the way around both doors, the interior door, and the storm, so it doesn't fit right. They're not hung correctly. I had both doors closed, and I stood inside the condo, looking at something, and I could feel air on my toes. So, I got down on my hands and knees, looked under the door, and I could see outside. Little lizards and bugs will starting to crawl in when they find out that there's a nice place to live for free. Hopefully, the tech can fix it.
When they came to install the large interior door, it was too big." They started cutting into the wall above the door. The young man said, "The new doors are larger than the old door that you had." I said, "It is larger, but I didn't want a larger door. I wanted a replacement door. Same size door." When the larger door got installed, it hit my interior hallway light fixture hanging in the ceiling. I had to get a new light fixture. Those guys went over to Home Depot and installed the new light fixture, which does not match the other hallway light fixture.
They took off the interior decorative wood framing, put new framing back up, and it looks crappy. They did a horrible job. They slopped on some putty. I don't even know if they painted it. They put a 4-inch gouge in my wall. I gotta repair that and paint it. The glass panel came out a couple of times during installation. The tech said he'll fix it. He put a silicone glue around part of the glass panel, and I thought, "I hope it dries clear because it looks milky right now." It did not. It dried milky. I looked at it and said, "Now, the door looks used." It was a mess. They worked hours and hours, and left around 11 o'clock at night. I took pictures and videos. I'm very dissatisfied.
A couple of days later, the main guy of Euro Choice texted and said, "How do you like the door? And I need the rest of the payment." I said, "I don't like the doors, and you're gonna have to wait until October when I come back." He showed pictures. They went back, and took the silicone glue off the Andersen door. It looks better, but there are still gaps around the whole door so bugs and little lizards can get in. I'm not pleased. I like the Andersen door quality-wise, but I hope it doesn't look used because I don't know how they took the silicone glue off the glass panel, but he said, "We took off the glue, and we painted the frame."
I'm gonna go there in two and a half weeks and look at it, and hopefully it doesn't look like it's used because I'm not gonna accept it if there are dings and scratches on it. I chose Andersen because they're a nice quality door. My daughters have them, and we have them. I like Andersen Windows, but I was not happy with the installation.
Your trust means everything to us, and we want to make this right. We've forwarded your information to the pertinent team. We appreciate your time and thank you for your feedback.

Your 2-man team's removal and reinstallation of window treatments in my two rooms (blinds, valances), though part of the payment, were botched up by them: in one room, they declared that my tan-color roller blinds no longer fit the window and frames they had installed, and in the other room, my gray roller blinds were damaged with multiple holes.
I wrote an email to three people at Renewal by Andersen to alert them to what happened, asking for compensation but a week later, I have still not received a reply. I was pleased with it. However, some of the stuff took a long time. Renewal by Andersen had to order the windows, which took four to five weeks. Also, one of the windows was incorrectly purchased. It's a bathroom window, and the installers put a clear window in there. It has to be the ones that you can't see inside. It took a month to get that window in. I'm just waiting on this last part to be completed with the window in the bathroom, but I don't hold that against Renewal. The installer said the reason why the window won't lock might be a manufacturing problem. They are looking into it, and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

What he didn’t know was I’m an engineer and I know the design hardness of the actuator was 33 Rockwell and I had access to a lab and measured the actual hardness of the failed actuator which was 15. They made me wait 5 weeks before fixing it when it was a part I could buy on Amazon that was in stock that had next day shipping. It is literally a five-minute fix that they should have had a local locksmith perform. We recently invested in Andersen windows and want to be fair in our feedback. The product itself deserves 5 stars—the windows are high quality and meet expectations. Unfortunately, the installation finish is only 1 star. The caulking was poorly done, which has left us frustrated given the price point and brand reputation. For the amount we spent, the cost-to-value feels very poor. We also expected more prompt support in addressing customer concerns. The caulking issues should be handled with urgency, not dismissed. Andersen should stand behind their reputation and send a crew to correct these issues—regardless of expense. We ask that Andersen take ownership of the quality they are known for and deliver the level of service their customers deserve.

Most expensive mistake I’ve ever made. Terrible product and terrible customer service. I ordered a sliding glass door that was promised to be safe, efficient, and easy. None of those promises have been satisfied. The door was “installed” five weeks ago. Both handles to the door came off within 24 hours. The door was also almost impossible to open and shut because there was so much resistance. There was no “easy glide” experience. I called the company and they assured me someone would come fix the handle.
The earliest they could fit me in? Two weeks later. Only after I berated them with calls and texts were they willing to have someone come in 9 days after the handle fell off. Even though I sent pictures, the service man did not have the parts to fix the handle. So he came over, saw the terrible shape of the door, commented how bad it was, then left within 15 minutes because he had to order more parts. That was three weeks ago. The painter came by and noticed how difficult it was to open. He said the installers forgot to level the surface before installing. I called, texted, and emailed the company and their initial response was “I thought we fixed that.” No. Nothing has been fixed.
I have no handle and the surface is not level, so it’s almost impossible to open and close. It’s an embarrassment to me when people come over. Their terrible execution, lack of communication, and weak product make the sticker price all the more ridiculous. This cost me more than a Rolex but what I got was more akin to a plastic Casio. Except a plastic Casio actually works. The product is terrible and the customer service has no idea what’s going on. I wouldn’t invest in a new product by this company if it was 80% off. They try to show you competitors' prices and hail their warranty but I can inform you that I’ve never regretted a purchase more. Stay away from this unresponsive, cheap, dishonest company.

I had windows installed. Technically, they were fine. They do what they're supposed to do. They're tight and energy-efficient.
However, I didn't like the actual design of the wood and the shapes they used for the wood itself in the muntins and the front edge of the sash. I didn't like the bevel they used. I modified it by adding my own piece of molding in there and gluing it in, and making it look much better. But the thing that really bothered me was the muntins coming down to the sash frame. There were gaps in some of them. I'm disappointed in the wood aspect of the windows.
The other thing that bothered me was the color of the exterior trim around the window. I based it on their little color chart. The color chart is always different from the actual item. But I was hoping that the windows would be a little less bright. I thought I wanted something deeper and more earth tone. And then they had what they call prairie grass around them, but I should have gone with sandstone.
My house was from the 1700s and I wanted to bring back the character of that. They're very kind of monochromatic with the accent color on the door.
Also, I had to wait a long time to get them. It was going on over four and a half years for the guy to finally get to them. And then he finally got to them. And then he had this helper who was not very good. He messed up some of my timber framing in the house. That is to be shown in the room, not covered up. He hit it with a Sawzall, which I had told him not to use and also to watch the timber.
The contractor who installed them said I should be compensated for the damage that the fellow did to the timber. So, he forgave an extra charge, which I couldn't understand, because I thought he would have known about that beforehand in his previous experience. I have a woodworking shop. And I just felt like I shouldn't have to be doing more work. I was disappointed. It's hard to find people that do really good work and know what they're doing.
In addition, the windows with installation are very expensive.

Jason ** came to my home yesterday expecting to sell windows. I had told the scheduler I just needed repair or possibly replacement on 2 windows. Jason had driven an hour to get to the appointment and rightly disappointed realizing there would be no big sale. Jason was so understanding and told us what parts we needed and how to fix the repairs we needed. He could have turned around and left. We are grateful to him for taking the time to help us. If you are in need to windows, please ask for Jason **.

I got a slider from Andersen and they did a very good and professional job. I was well pleased with them. The quality of the window is pretty good. I've got no problems with it. However, they had to take all the stucco out from around there, and then I had to wait a couple of weeks for some stucco guy to come back and put them back in.

My windows turned out beautifully. Excellent experience from start to finish. I was kept well informed throughout the process from start to finish. They cleaned up after themselves, were very respectful of me and my home. I have already recommended this company to others.

I had scheduled an appointment and took time off of work to be here by 2 pm today to not have anyone show up or call say they were running late so I called to see what was going on. The guy I talked to was very nice and dug into it more but the lady I talked to yesterday at 4:26 to confirm my appointment never actually did her job right and didn't confirm it so unfortunately I lost out on hours to sit here and wait for someone that actually wasn't even coming. I will no longer use them as that's very irritating and they didn't even try to get someone else out here today when it was their fault.

We called Renewal out for a consultation. And the consultation sold us. The rep thoroughly went through exactly how the windows work and how they manufactured the windows and the differences between their windows and other competitors. He also told us why it should hold up longer and better than the competitors.
Install was great. We had told the crew that they're probably gonna run into a couple problems just because of the way the house was built. But he let us know that they did find a couple problems, that they had solutions and what they were gonna do to fix it, and just to make sure we're okay with it. So it was seamless.
I wish I could get my whole house done. The windows are great. They do exactly as they advertised. We're able to see out through their new screens a lot better. There's no air coming through the windows, so I know they're a lot better sealed than our last ones.

Renewal by Andersen always had a great reputation. I already have three Andersen windows in my living room, and I'm very pleased with them. The installation was perfect and I can't say enough about the quality. It's so much easier. I'm handicapped so getting in and out of my door is so much easier now than it was before. I'm just ecstatic.

Renewal by Andersen was awesome. I knew their reputation was good. I got two doors, an entry door and a rear entry door and I got 12 windows. The installation was perfect and took two days. The quality of the windows is exceptional.

Some friends of ours have had Renewal by Andersen do replacements on their windows and we have Andersen Windows in the house. So we purchased three doors from Renewal. We have an entrance door, a French door that opens on one side and a slider. The actual installation was supposed to be a day or two and they did it in a day. We're pleased with the quality. It's a good product. It's an Andersen product and I trust the Andersen product. They've improved considerably over the 40 years since the ones that are in our house went in. I would recommend them if somebody needed to replace windows or doors.

Andersen is popular here in the Kansas City area. I had been wanting to do a project with them for several years, but costs prevented it. Then I was at a summer festival and there were some tents around the area where different vendors were. Andersen was one of them. I stopped and talked to a representative and I went ahead and scheduled an appointment.
The guy came out and was very good at telling me what they had and showed me how we could do things. I told him what I wanted and he ran with it. There is a lake in the house I live in and there are four specialty windows downstairs on a walkout. A couple of them are like picture windows and then a couple others used to be crank-outs, and I didn't want them, so I got some sliders.
They made windows that came out in about a month and put them in. The installers were excellent. They did their job quickly and they cleaned up after. I was really happy. My friends that have seen the installations all commented on how tidy the installation was.

I wanted something done that was going to be forever and I contacted Renewal by Andersen. They came out and told me their plan. I told them what I wanted. And that's exactly what happened. I had nine windows done and eight of them were double hung windows. I had one big window in my living room where the middle is stationary with two sliders on each end.
They were ambitious. The installers did it in a little under two days. Four guys showed up. It rained on them on the second day. But they did all the windows and all the trim inside in two days. It was fantastic. They did a great job. Their guys are top end. I was impressed.
My house is brighter and seems more spacious. And it's just an overall upgrade of quality from the 1950's windows that were in there. I'm very happy. Aesthetically, it's a huge difference. They let in the right light. My old windows were 70 years old. Some of them were foggy and shot. The glass in these windows is clean and clear. The gas is still in them. It's just overall way better.

Renewal by Andersen replaced five windows for me because my windows were deteriorating badly because of weather. Someone came out for the presentation and it was great. There was no pressure. They told me what they were offering and explained the difference between their windows versus what they were replacing. And then we just came to an agreement. When he saw what I was replacing, he understood what I was doing.
The windows we got were the best ones I've seen. They were far better than what we tore out.

I got a thing in the mailbox about Renewal by Andersen. I have Andersen Windows in my house, but I understand now that it's not the same company. So, I called to get a bid, and it was what I was in the ballpark for. The people were absolutely marvelous. I went to where you can open the window on each. The replacement took about four months, from beginning to end and the quality is superb.

I went with Renewal because I just got through having six or seven windows put in a couple of months ago. I wanted to see what the quality was and what the installation was like.
The installers were excellent. They worked about 13 hours before they left. I never saw them take a break and worked straight through. It was unbelievable. One of them ate his lunch while he still worked. There was no downtime at all.
I'd highly recommend Renewal. After this one, I'm gonna have another phase to finish out my windows in my house.
