Got the new windows in about 1 and 1/2 year ago and was ok with them. A little disappointed with the nail holes not fully covered and visible dents. About 3 weeks ago I called to have them come take a look at the mold which was everywhere they used caulking. (Apparently used the bargain brand.) It took 3 calls to finally get someone out here and when he showed said that it would be covered under warranty. So then 2 weeks went by and heard from no one. Had to call two more time to get someone out here to fix the issue and he had to come twice as they did not allow enough time and he would need to come back.

I had looked at Newpro beforehand and they kept canceling their appointments so I just said, “Hey, if they can’t keep an appointment just for an estimate, never mind, I'm trying to put up a glass window." On the other hand, Renewal by Andersen was fantastic. I got a bow window installed and I love it. The representatives I've worked with were very good. The salesman came in and took the estimate and another guy came in and did all the measurements. Thereafter, two guys came in and did the window. They came in 7:30 in the morning and had it done by 3:00 in the afternoon. Since then, the window has been perfect. The quality and cost are about equal for me even though it was a little pricier that I thought it would be. I recommend Renewal by Andersen to anybody.

I bought windows from Mr. Rogers Windows, which is Renewal by Andersen, the salesman told us they would cost 8,147.00 and when we paid a payment June 11th 2018 the cost was 17000.00, we was charged twice, but they are saying now that the 17000.00 is correct which is a lie. We only bought 10 windows and 3 of them was suppose to be free, we are now having the problem investigated. The salesman didn't leave any paperwork in the folder just a business card, mind you the windows wasn't that big. Just average window. We refuse to pay for windows that we was con into buying, Mr. Rogers cannot be trusted, they won't cooperate, so beware of doing business with this company.

Third time using Renewal by Andersen. First two times very satisfied. They had a warranty issue 5 years later and notified us. They replaced warranty windows efficiently. That is why we contracted them again. March 5, 2018 - Front entry door, garage side entry door, upstairs windows, patio door ordered. Salesman was professional and explained details. May 2 and 3 - all items installed. Side garage storm door was wrong item. They were going to order the correct one. May 10 - discovered phone in family room not working. Checked and discovered no service connection detected. The line runs along the base of the patio door. Called Andersen service; they scheduled to have trim removed where wiring ran. The family room has its own phone line and was not noticed immediately.

We purchased double hung windows from Renewal by Andersen and had an awesome experience with them. Their representative was a nice guy. He explained the whole product and walked me through everything. They gave us three weeks to get the window replacement done but then there was a hold up with the guy that they had allotted for the job. He couldn’t do it, so Renewal worked with me to find somebody else who got it done earlier.

Because of quality, I chose Renewal by Andersen over other window retailers. We have purchased a fixed picture window, a slider, and the rest were double-hung windows. I like the windows very well, especially with the soundproofing. They were a little more expensive than the other ones, but the quality is worth it. Renewal gave me a timeline how long the window replacement would take and they completed the installation in the time provided. The installation crew was extremely thorough, too and did an excellent job. And the representative who came here before the installation was very thorough. He had samples and a testing thing to show the effectiveness of the heating and cooling of the windows versus the other ones.

I knew when I purchased my condo, that it needed natural light in the bathrooms. I contacted Renewal By Andersen, a salesman came looked at what I wanted, said, "No problem", and gave me a price. I gasped, but realized that these were going to be "Andersen Windows", and would take the winds that Palmer is noted for. I wanted a window over the shower. I wanted a window where the glass was 12" by 48". I got a window where the glass measures 6" by 42". Why wasn't I told that there would be 3 inches of frame on all sides? I am not getting the light I wanted. I have been contacting Renewal by Andersen for over a week now, and they still not addressed my concern. Why didn't I get the window that I wanted? Also, the window is crooked from the outside, and there is an extraordinary amount of caulking. I would like the window replaced with what I thought I had ordered. I would like a reply from someone who is able to make a decision.

On March 8, 2018 We ordered almost $90K worth of doors and windows thru Renewal by Andersen - Tucson, Ron **. We were told it would be approx 3 months for delivery. It now being mid June I called to confirm delivery. I knew something was wrong when no one wanted to talk to me or return my calls. With a lot of perseverance I was finally able to confirm that the window portion of our order has never been ordered by their operations manager, Jeff - whose gamesmanship in avoiding customers is second to none.

Although the major issue of the windows originally being too small will never be resolved without going through the pain of hiring an attorney and having my house all torn up again and refinishing all of the windows inside again, it appears that the leaking and rust has been fixed. The people that RBA sent to perform the warranty work were super professional, super kind and treated me with respect. Couldn't ask for anything better as far as the personnel were concerned.

We found on the web when we went looking for a replacement that Renewal by Andersen existed as an entity for installing things. Many of our friends have Andersen replacement doors and windows that had been installed in their houses over the last thirty years, and they’re high-quality stuff. And then, we moved out of the house in Massachusetts in 2008 that had replacement windows in it. So we were aware of the quality of the products from Andersen and we chose them as we were interested in their door.

We’ve heard good things about Renewal by Andersen from friends and their representative was also thorough and knowledgeable. We got double-hung windows and they said that the installation would take three days, and it did. When the installers got here, they got to work and then kept on working even though it was the coldest part of the last winter. They took the old windows out and put new ones in, and when they were done for the day, they cleaned everything up. The windows are very good and we love our them. As a matter of fact, we’re gonna get some more in the fall. We've told friends about Renewal by Andersen too.

I set up the appointment and the salesperson was on time, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. After almost two hours - the price for 13 basic windows - and I mean I wanted wood and settled for composite all one color - no frills at all was $32,000.00 ---- I literally almost fell over. Seriously this is a house in the Poconos. That was a third of what I paid for the whole house. Can Anderson even be serious with a price like that? It wasn't even a little reasonable. Needless to say I will just stick with my old windows. I can't even believe that they could quote a price like that and say it is no-frills. I wouldn't waste my time asking Anderson for a quote. Imagine if I had asked for some special custom additions?

Renewal by Andersen has good windows and they are definitely a reputable company so I went with them. They were heavily discounted too. We got the double-hung windows. They're great windows, they look nice and they work well, and I'm pleased with them. Renewal by Andersen felt it would take about three or four days to complete the window installation and it was just what they said. The installation team was efficient and knew what they were doing when they put the windows in and they seemed experienced. However, I was very disappointed that I spent so much money but the windows didn't qualify as ENERGY STAR windows. They should stress that they're not ENERGY STAR and maybe they should make another window that is ENERGY STAR available. Other than that, the windows are perfect.

We reached out to Renewal by Andersen and we had some email correspondence with the salesperson. When he came out, he did a demo in the house, and priced out the whole project. Somebody else came out to do the measuring. After that, an install team did the job for three days. Our house was built 150 years ago and we were adamant that what would go in would look like the original and that none of the original molding or anything was ruined or anything like that. And the guys were great about that. Everything looks like it’s been there for a long time. Another person then came out after the fact to check the work. The windows are fantastic and I love them. It's like an all-composite material as opposed to plastic or wood and it is the only one out there like that. They're pricey but they're worth it.

We knew of Renewal by Andersen’s reputation and they ran big ads in the Newburyport paper. So, we called them to see what it was all about. A man came out and his name was John. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. He gave us an estimate and we bought the windows and doors from him that night. We had Renewal put 14 windows which were up and down ones. We also had a door in the bathroom leading out to the backyard and they put two new doors there. We also did the two new front doors.

I’ve had a very bad experience with Renewal by Andersen. We replaced all of the windows for $33,000 and I've had all of this trouble. I’m not a happy camper. First of all, the man came out in the middle of October but they didn't put the windows in until December 29th. I had no idea that they would wait that long and do it in the middle of winter.

I was visited by a representative of Southern New England Windows dba Renewal By Anderson. After a very long meeting, the salesman convinced me to sign a contract for replacement windows. The quote was for $20,000 dollars for 10 windows. Subsequently, after receiving another quote for BRAND NEW windows, installed, for the entire house, for less money, I attempted to cancel. When I attempted to cancel, I was told there was a 25% cancellation penalty or $5,000. No products were ever delivered nor were any measurements made.

Renewal by Andersen is a recognizable name so I got my four windows from them. They met the timeline they gave for the window replacement. And the rep was down to business and was very informative. I was impressed with the rep's knowledge of the product. Plus there was no pressure for buying. The installation went very well and very clean. The windows are excellent so far and it’s a big difference from the other windows I have. And for the money I spent, they should be good quality.

Renewal by Andersen seemed to be a fairly quality company and we liked the approach of having everything done by the same company. But there was a little bit of pressure with their salesperson and we were a little disappointed in the pricing of the second set. We actually paid more for the second set of windows than we did the first. We were thinking that since we were repeat customers, perhaps we would get a slightly better deal.

Purchased 10 windows to replace single hung older ones which were leaking some air and difficult to raise and lower. Having some buyer's remorse concerning the price we paid and with quality of the windows. The installation went well. However, subsequent to installation we noted difficulty in operating tilt release latches to release easily and difficulty in raising and lowering some of the windows. A serviceman has been here twice and is doing his best to resolve our problems. On one of the windows the tilt latch did not work at all. On others difficult. He made some adjustments got the difficult one to work but still not as easily as it should. The plastic clips that slide down to release the latches are more complicated than simple releases on my older windows. Our home has twenty more windows which will have to be replaced at some point.

We liked Renewal by Andersen's product so we had them replace our three windows. They gave us an estimate of how long it would take them to make the windows and that it would be a one-day process to install. I had a very positive interaction with the rep I worked with. He was insightful and friendly. He also seemed to be honest and knowledgeable. During installation, their installers came in and they were clean and quick. They laid out some stuff to keep the site clean and they went to town to take out the old ones and put in the new ones. The replacement windows are good so far. Renewal by Anderson did terrific. They were very professional and their product seems to be of high quality. They’re a little bit expensive, but it’s worth it if you can afford it.

I bought a whole house of windows from Renewal by Andersen because of their reputation. There are nine in total and the installation went great. The installers were here on time on one of the coldest days this winter and they were smiling and never complained about the cold once. So I was pretty impressed with those two. They were also right within the timeline they gave me for the window replacement. We've had some problems but I've been working with Jim and everybody has been great. We've had very positive interactions. We're still trying to find the source of the condensation that's in the inside of windows. But they are working on it and trying to resolve it.

We got double-hung new construction windows from Renewal by Andersen. We had a number of companies come in but we felt that Andersen’s product was superior. Also, our house originally had Andersen windows and they are very close to us in Northborough. We worked with Michael and he was a very professional guy. He seemed very experienced. He answered all our questions and brought over window samples before we made a decision. He did a great job for us. Andersen sent over a job manager and several installers and they put in 11 new construction windows for us and took away the old, broken panes. It was a one-day job. They gave me a timeline and they hit it right on the nose. They also brought vacuums and the house was spotless when they left. They did a phenomenal job.

I went with Renewal by Andersen as I trusted them and I thought I was going with an awesome company that was gonna give me the service that I needed. But now, I'm starting to regret it and I have $15,000 bill that I've created with them. I got a double-hung window from them. The salesperson was formal and he followed up. The installers were very professional and courteous and they were very proficient with getting the job done in one day. It was January 17 and it was freezing cold. They taped up whatever windows they took out so that the air could not come in.

We have a brand-new house and we have all new windows. However, the sliding door that we had, which we thought was an Andersen, was very inefficient. We got a hold of Andersen and told them to come out, take a look at what we have and see if we can get a door that’s efficient. And we did. It was a custom door so we had to order it. It was measured and delivered within the dates that we expected it to be. Their rep happened to be somebody in our neighborhood. He was very friendly, very kind and professional. We had a nice conversation and everything went well.

I purchased two sliding doors and one fixed window from Renewal by Andersen. The rep came and measured, told me exactly what they do, and showed me the project. And once I decided to go with them, the guy came and did a re-measurement. It was a cold day when they showed up for the installation, but they said that they would do it as long as I was fine with it. They took great care to put down drop cloths so they wouldn’t track snow and stuff in and they were done before they thought they would be. Everything was clean and the old windows were gone and they went on their way. It was pretty simple. And they seemed to know what they were talking about. I’d suggest other people to go with Renewal by Andersen. They’re really thorough, did a good job and their customer service was good. This was six months ago and the windows fit. The quality is great too. I really like them. They are really expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The guy from Renewal by Andersen who came over to the house was good. He gave us the spiel on what we were looking for and we gave him our spiel too. He came to a conclusion and then sent us a quote. We compared it to the quotes from other companies that we were dealing with and theirs was the best one we got. And since Andersen windows are good, we went with them and purchased three windows and a French door.

The windows in the house were already Renewal by Andersen windows and we have a lot of confidence in Andersen’s products. We got four new double-hung windows put in which were just updated versions of what were already there. Everything went fantastic from the time the rep came in and we purchased the windows and he told us what to expect until they were installed. The rep who came was very good, very professional, very helpful and knew what he was doing. Everything went smooth as clockwork, especially considering that they replaced the windows in January. We were a little bit concerned about that. But everything went exactly as we expected it to or maybe even better than we anticipated. The old windows, especially since they were bathroom windows, were looking a little dated and aged because of the moisture so the new windows were definitely an improvement. They’re a little bit more expensive but they’re well worth it.

Based on recommendation, I contacted local Renewal by Andersen company. After an intelligence insulting presentation (Tin Men anyone?) I was presented a price of 1,900 per window. But this month I could get it for 1,500 per window. I have never shopped for windows before, but that is about double what I expected. Am I wrong to question the price? What is the going rate for a quality window?

We had had good feedback about Renewal by Andersen and my husband talked to a gentleman who had come to the house with some information. The customer service was good and we looked the information over. Since there was going to be a sale on, we had the individual come back after I got our normal contractor to do a bid and prove to us that Andersen was going to do it for the price they said. We interviewed the individual some more then we told them to go ahead. We purchased a front door with two side windows, which was an all-in-one inclusive, and the quality is very good. The installation was done in the middle of winter and the individual was very good. I would encourage a friend to give Andersen a shot -- to call a rep and have them come out, and to talk to them and ask about options, potential pricing or sales that might come up.

I had done a renovation about two and a half years ago and I used Andersen sliding doors for the back of the house. When I wanted to have my windows replaced, I wanted them to be of similar quality to what I have gotten for the new sliding door so I chose Renewal by Andersen. I got seven windows and they were on time, if not just a tad early, finishing the replacement. It was all very good. Even though I’m not in a historic district, my concern was to have my windows look as if they were original and it has more than exceeded my expectations. The windows that were replaced were installed long ago, a couple of them as early as 1925, so they had been tainted shut and were not operable. The replacement windows are all brand-new, crisp and much quieter. They’re more energy-efficient and they’re operable too.

We wanted a sliding double door for the back patio. The salesman was nice. He lives where I used to live in the same town so we connected immediately. He was very knowledgeable and he informed us of the actions that we had and any obstacles or issues that we would encounter, he got different options. It was nice to know that he knew what he was talking about. On the other hand, the installer was amazing. He was very nice, very courteous and very clean. They almost quarantined the whole area so that they won’t get any debris in any of my personal property, which I thought was amazing. Because the installation was done in the wintertime, they did as much as they could not to expose my house to unnecessarily cold air, which was good too. And they finished the installation in a timely manner and finished everything before they left.

Renewal by Andersen is the best. We had a sliding glass door installed and they were able to meet the timeline they had given to us. The interaction with the reps went okay as well. Also, the installation process went fine. The cost was expensive but it was fair for the quality.

Do not follow through as advertised. Not one company but three. No noise reduction. Sloppy work. Trim work and caulking still not complete. They will cover rotten wood if you don’t catch them. Still have drafts at some windows. Flexing squeaking noise during high winds at front windows. Three windows don’t appear centered. Windows installed in February and this is May 24 and windows not complete or problems not corrected. Had thirteen windows replaced and still unsatisfactory service with no regard to correct problems correctly. Will say they are going to replace sashes then renege on promises.

Renewal by Andersen had the window size that we wanted. We got the picture windows and though they're pricier, the quality is good. The reps gave the information we were looking for. Also, the installers were prompt, on time and clean.

My husband and I are updating our small Southern California cottage, literally 4 windows. The living room picture window is large, so we expected a higher cost. The temps in San Diego County get hot in the summer and we want to be more energy efficient. I work in the Construction industry for over two decades and I am familiar with getting 3 quotes and choosing the best product, installation and price. Lowest price doesn't always mean best.

We have a very large front window and we didn't want to go with vinyl windows because it was so big and it would have to be chopped up. So for us, Renewal by Andersen was the best answer. I purchased a front picture window and a sliding glass door from them. The rep was knowledgeable, offered us options and explained the information clearly. There wasn't high pressure from him and we like his enthusiasm for the product. The installers were two young guys and they were very personable. We had a couple of issues with the installation and they told us some options to fix those. They scheduled somebody to come back out and make a few adjustments, so everything was fine. We like the quality of the windows a lot but if you have a smaller window, talk with Renewal by Andersen and with another vinyl company. Explore all options.

We went to a home show and Renewal by Andersen was there. I really wanted to get French Doors however, the salesman said it wouldn’t work so we purchased a doorwall and I don’t it. Nonetheless, the installers were very professional. They said that they'd finish installing the door in a day, and they did. I also thought the product was fairly priced. I’d tell friends to go ahead and order from Renewal by Andersen.

We purchased a patio window from Renewal by Andersen. Although they had to order parts, the timeline was good. They did very well. Overall, I had a great experience and if we need another window, we’d definitely get it from them.

We met with the Andersen salesperson who was very descriptive as to the benefit of going with Renewal by Andersen. He sold us on getting the maximum opening in the window because of the minimal insert that goes in our current Andersen windows. We had them work on two rooms. We replaced three double-hung windows with new bay windows and then two other double-hung windows. Andersen gave us a timeline for the replacement. They were able to complete this within the time they gave. It was a little pricey but I’m very satisfied with the product. We like the screens and they care about customer satisfaction.

We had Andersen come out and I liked the quality of the window that they presented to me. I also like the reviews. I purchased a composite window with the wood grain interior from them. I had double hung for most of them and I have a casement, and I’ve gotten some half-moon ones that’s over the double hung, and a patio door. I bought a lot from them and I’ve had two different series done now. They had the date set up when I purchased the windows and they completed the installation within the timeframe they gave. The rep also thoroughly explained the window.

Renewal by Andersen has the best windows on the market so I bought all my windows from them. I purchased both sliders and double hung windows and the quality was great. It was snowy and cold outside, so it took them a couple of days to finish installing. They could only do half one day and half the next day. I’d recommend them to anyone that needs new windows.

We got a massive window done a couple of years earlier by Renewal by Andersen. We looked at a bunch of places before we got the window done and we knew we wanted a high-quality window with the gaps and everything that would be economic for saving both heating and cooling. We looked at a bunch of different windows and Renewal by Andersen was the best quality for the best price. Once we did that, we’re like, “Well, we gotta keep going.” We like wood as opposed to pure aluminum clad. Their windows are wood. We like the panes, so the wood dividers are pane-ing the windows. They're easy cleaning, they're easy fix-up, and the exterior is already matched to the color of our house. It's a two-storey wall of windows. It’s on the same side of the house and it’s a big and detailed job. They killed the job with lots of people and did it all in one stretch of time, and got the whole thing done from morning to afternoon all complete.

Renewal by Andersen's reps were very professional and knowledgeable. We bought a double hung window and the installation was very good even though we got delayed by the terrible weather. Their installers came on time and completed the job professionally and within the timeline. The windows look great and we're very pleased with it. It’s a very good product and they have very good service all the way through. If I had to do it over again though, I’d shop around a little more just because it’s very expensive.

We built our house and it was whatever the builder put in 27 years ago. I’m getting condensation in between the windows so we decided to do it. Renewal by Andersen is well-known so we went with them. Their rep was great and the installation process was great too. Within one day, Andersen had everything in. It was late getting it done, but their crew got it done. There was only one thing that I do have a little bit of concern. In my bay window, there was a piece of a siding that cracked and they put some kind of putty stuff over the top of it. So, I'd just hope that it would stay looking right. Overall, I love the windows and my experience was great.

I own a really old house. It's almost a hundred years old and I was pretty concerned about the quality of what I would put into that. Renewal by Andersen came highly recommended by people in the neighborhood and people with similar homes. Their rep was really nice. He explained everything really well, was really approachable and wasn’t pushy about selling anything or talking to me about anything that I don't need. We got a double hung window from them and they gave a timeframe for how long the replacement would take. It was from the time that we met with them and it was spot on to what they predicted so I was really happy with it. They replaced them in the middle of January, which I was obsessed by. It was freezing so they were troopers because when we had initially met and they said that would be when they were installed, I didn’t even notice that. It was an option and they were good.

Renewal by Andersen seemed to know how to handle our specific space better. We chose them because of that and because of their product. We had four casement windows purchased all together and a picture window, two of the double hung for the picture window, which was a window box, and then two double hung.

The windows that were done about 35 years ago needed replacement. Because we've already had Andersen in the house and have had really good luck with them, we went with them again and got slider windows. It was a separate salesperson that came out. We talked about the benefits of the windows, about what we wanted and what we needed, and worked out a window and a price that was within our budget. Then they sent back somebody to measure them and check the place, and then the installers came out. It was all done in a day. The only thing I didn’t like, and it's probably not a big thing, was the fact that they did it on a day when it was about 19 degrees out. They kind of curtained off our side of the house here. But my concern wasn’t so much with the temperature in the house. It was how any caulking would hold up at that temperature.

When I spoke to their salesman he sold me on the fact that I would like the quality of their work and product, but that was not the case. It took four weeks from talking to the salesman & in putting an downpayment on the project for the custom windows to be install. First problem was that the Kitchen window was manufactured wrong - they got the height and width mixes up. Since the installers already remove the old windows they had to put the new window in on its side. Next the two rear bedroom windows they put the exterior trimming missize. One window had a long trim. The other had a short trim under the windows. This look bad along with the rear Kitchen window. It looks very bad.

Renewal by Andersen has been around for a long time and I like their reputation. Their reps were very knowledgeable. I got a picture window, a casement window, and a window that cranks out at the bottom. The installers were all very professional and neat. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was top notch. They told me that the windows would be installed in about five hours and they did that. The windows were expensive from the get-go but the whole thing was well worth it. When I get these paid off, I'm going to get some more. I would tell my friends to go for it too.

We, as well as our parents, have already had interactions with Renewal by Andersen so we decided to hire them to do our windows. The sales rep who came out was very well spoken and kind. He wasn't pushy at all, so we knew that they were gonna be the right choice. The installers were a younger kid and a gentleman who had been with Andersen for years now and he was absolutely phenomenal. He broke down every single process and he went through every single step in depth. They also let us know how long it was gonna take. But they were able to do the job less than the timeline provided. It was outstanding. The quality of the windows is outstanding as well and the experience has been phenomenal. My wife and I are highly considering getting brand new windows for the entire house next year and Renewal by Andersen is definitely at the top of the list we're using.

I got doors and a double hung and a couple of swing in and out windows from Renewal by Andersen. I looked at all the products and I got floor prices for windows. They're one of the cheapest by far, but the quality of the material is good. The installers were really good but the timeline got all messed up. We ordered the windows back in November with a possible before-Christmas install. However, one of the doors was an oddball size so we delayed the install until January. Then in January, they came out and installed some of the windows. In February, they came back and did the doors but they didn’t complete the job until March 8. We're also still working through the process of refinancing and it's a pain in the neck. It expired because of the timelapse. I even got an invoice for it, but I'm okay since I haven't paid for all of it yet.

Bring new $8,000.00 patio door from company warped and scratched. We just had an patio door put in last Tuesday April 24, 2018, it came from the factory warped and scratched. We waited 8 weeks for this door!! Now it has to be replaced and when I call they seem to send all of my calls to voicemail!!! They never called me back so I had to keep calling. When I finally talk to and Annette she told me it will take another 4 weeks to replace which I can't get my room done over and can't put up my patio awning, this is why I ordered this door in January!!!

We needed windows and I knew a little bit about Champion but I didn’t want to deal with them anymore. On the other hand, the sales guy from Renewal by Andersen was very nice. He gave us the price and told us what we needed to do. He also came out a couple of times to see how things were going and everything went well. I’m 78 so the installers had to do all the moving of the furniture and then they took the others out and got rid of them. It was all good. It was done in half a day. I had four fairly big double-hung windows which were very expensive but they’re well-made. It works well for me so I would tell others that they should give Renewal by Andersen a try.

I purchased patio doors from Renewal by Andersen, which was recommended by a friend whose opinion I trust dearly. The contractor was very nice and courteous. He and his team were very professional and they did a great job. It was a very cold winter day and when they came in, they put some tarps up to help keep the cold out. Then they took the old doors out and put the new doors in. They framed them all in with new moldings and showed me how everything worked. They also cleaned everything up. The contractor did very well and the service was very good. I was very satisfied and even though Renewal by Andersen was a tad more expensive, it was worth it and I would recommend them.

We had done window replacements in my daughter’s home nearby, and that company went out of business. So we had been through the spiel with a number of places. And because our home is in a certain price point, we decided to go with what we felt was a better quality finished product. We went with Renewal by Andersen and their sales rep came to the house and talked about the product and pricing. They're pricier than any other vinyl window out there, but we feel the product was worth the price. My sister-in-law got her windows for a fourth of the price of what we paid, but they're the typical vinyl replacement windows.

I had Renewal by Andersen windows originally and they all slid, so I decided two of them were turnouts. We got doors from them also. The timeline was a day or two and they were able to complete the installation in the timeline provided. The rep from Renewal by Andersen was super good. He showed us all the different options and went from beginning to end. He said that they were really nice windows and that the guys would come in and take care of everything. The whole experience was completely professional and very well-done. They ripped the windows out and put the new ones in. The windows are awesome. The moldings were a little beat up, so when the guys were done, the ledges had some markings on them and things like that.

I received an email about a sale Renewal by Andersen was having on windows so we selected items that are Renewal by Andersen, the best windows out there. I contacted Renewal by Andersen and they sent a rep to our house. He was so nice and very polite. He was not in a hurry and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. I really liked him. We purchased several windows that were worth over $10,000. They gave us a timeline and completed the installation within that timeline.

Andersen has a reputation for good windows. Moreover, their reps were good to deal with and their service was good. Everything went very well. They installed the windows very satisfactorily and we are very happy.

Renewal by Anderson has better choices and the sales representative who came out was really good. He was very friendly, personable and went out of his way to explain everything to me. He showed me colors and how the door would look when it was finished. He also showed the hardware and how it would look. I'm a visual person so it was very helpful. He worked with me to find a way to make some passes without being over my budget. Then he worked on a financial plan that served my lifestyle which was very good.

I got a slider window and two regular windows installed by Renewal by Andersen. Their people came in and I showed them what needed to be replaced. In some situations, you are relying on them to tell you whether you are showing them different windows, which ones need to be replaced and which do not. But in my situation, they were all so old that I already knew they needed to be replaced. They told me it would be done in one day, and it was. The quality of their service was very good. They explained everything to me and they answered all of my questions. I felt very comfortable with the situation. It is a condo that I have, so it had to go through the homeowner's association for approval. And Renewal by Andersen actually handled all of that, which is one of the things they promised me upfront. They took care of all the details and got it approved so, I was very happy. They fulfilled everything they said they were gonna do.

I heard from several people that vinyl windows were not the way to go so I wanted a better material that would last longer. When I purchased double-hung windows and a sliding deck door from Renewal by Andersen, their sales rep was very nice and thorough. He was straightforward and was willing to explain things. He also gave us advice on what kind of improvement there would be with any particular window. He didn’t tell us we had to do every window in the house. So, it seemed like we were getting a fair deal from him.

In my childhood Renewal by Andersen was what we always used in our family. Recently I purchased some replacement windows for the front of our house but Renewal by Andersen did not meet the timeline that they gave us. We were disappointed and I sent in a customer satisfaction card on it. We ordered the windows in October and we were told that they would be there the first part of December. I called the sales rep when we didn't hear anything and he was outstanding. He immediately contacted me and said customer service was going to call me that day but we never heard from them. I finally called Renewal by Andersen in January and we got the windows about three weeks later. We could see that the windows were manufactured after the time I called in January. They took 50% of the money but I don’t think the order was even placed and if I had never called we would have never gotten the windows.

We moved into a house that was built in 1969 and had original windows. They were cold and drafty. We saw the add for Renewal by Anderson windows and called them. They came out and gave their pitch and we ordered the windows. They came in sooner than expected and the installation went very smooth. The workers Jullian, JJ and Irving were great to work with. They were careful of plants outside and kept everything inside clean. They covered the area where they were working with plastic and cleaned up every night. They did a great job. They showed us how everything worked and made sure we were happy before they left. We are very happy with their work as well as the outcome. We LOVE the new windows.

The contractor that we had before had terrible reviews and our neighbor told us to check out Renewal by Andersen. That Sunday, there was even a big ad in the paper so we had a number to call right away. The initial person who sold us the windows, Mitch, seemed very nice and an expert. It was a smooth, easy sale but I didn't feel that he did the necessary follow through. He left us hanging for a little while and the implementation from his side took a little longer. But we're a part of a condo association and that may have been more challenging for him to deal with. The subsequent people at the office were absolutely fabulous though.

I purchased from Renewal by Andersen fixed windows and sliders. The rep told me the replacement will take a day and it was a day. The quality of the windows was very nice. And the people I worked with were very good and they were there to do the job and they did the job. Everyone was very professional. Everybody always said that I can get Wallside or Andersen, but Andersen's the best. I went with them because of their reputation. The quote was what it was. I got one quote and I went with it even though I spent $1,000 more than I needed to. You get what you paid for.

I heard about Renewal by Andersen through friends and family and this company was the only one that could offer the style that I wanted. I purchased door walls and a patio door from them. The sales rep was excellent. I had to call in for a couple of questions though and a lady that I spoke to on phone wasn’t very helpful but cooperative. So I called the sales rep and he took care of it. The installers were good but unfortunately, it started snowing when they were installing it and they left the board with the nails in my driveway and I ended up getting a flat tire. However, I called them about the issue. I got a new tire and it was reimbursed.

We've had a little experience in remodeling and our most current project was the quality of windows in the house. They’re all custom size windows and they were originally steel casement windows. Although they probably looked very nice in 1932, they were not the best thing for keeping the house warmer. We wanted to replicate the look with a more efficient window and Renewal by Andersen was able to produce it. After we showed interest initially, they sent a representative to the house and we talked about options. They knew what they were selling and what they can manufacture. They didn’t talk that much but they explained the differences so we understood what they were selling us. Then they followed up with us and tried to nail it down and find out the schedule and cost. There were a couple of different appointments but it all worked out.

I live in a very nice brand-new condo. I remodeled the whole thing but I am cold. I had Home Depot put in all new windows and a new patio door in this house when I got it and the windows were okay for a few years but for the last five years, I’ve been thinking about getting them replaced. Especially with one of my windows, you can put your hand there and feel the breeze coming out. My grandson would come over in the wintertime to put up those plastic thing and I hated that. I knew that I had to put windows in and I asked about some of the stuff at Home Depot but they didn’t do that. Then I saw Andersen's ad on TV and that was what prompted me to call for a salesman to come out.

Renewal has a little more competitive pricing and we have used them in the past. We purchased the ProVia windows and doors they offer, and some sliding doors as well. Their sales rep, Blake, was great. He and I had worked in the past as well. We were in a weird hurry the first time we met, so he had come back a second time. Then I wish I had gone slower with the details because one detail got missed. It was a tiny detail that we went over email but we didn't go over when we were face-to-face. I’ve noticed that if there’s a change done through email, it doesn’t always go through. And in my past experience, something over email also got missed. Nonetheless, Everything else went smoothly with Blake.

We had an old door and we live in Massachusetts so it's very cold up here. We were losing lots of heat through that door and I was paying an exorbitant amount of money for oil and gas to heat the home because of how coarse the door was. I placed a phone call to Renewal by Andersen and we scheduled the time. Their rep showed up on the day and time he was supposed to, and walked us through the various items and door possibilities for what we were trying to replace. He was very transparent of the process in terms of what he thought were the better doors for that particular entrance. He gave the options we can look at and helped us decide. That afternoon, we ran everything up and called it a day. Then he scheduled a time for the engineer to come out to make sure the door was gonna fit the opening. It was a very simple process.

Renewal by Andersen has a good name and I've seen a few things. I talked to people and contractor buddies of mine and they suggested that Andersen is who to go with. So, I got Andersen from the start when I built the house and I got a new set of French doors and a front door. The representatives I worked with were outstanding and they were accurate with everything in the timeline they gave me.

We used Renewal by Andersen before and now we did a repeat business for an additional work. We did new sliders and new windows and we did all the different window products, including all double-hung. The knowledge level of the representative I dealt with this time was fine. Then the installation crew came when they were supposed to and they installed. The quality of the windows is good.

Renewal by Andersen replaced the windows and doors in the house we own and it was good quality work. They did a very good job and the installation was very carefully done. They had a crew of workers who did the installation who were really outstanding.

I had used Renewal by Andersen in the past at another house. Then I recently purchased two replacement windows from them and they're fantastic. One was a slider window for the bathroom and another was a crack window in the kitchen. We called and someone came out the next day and did all the measurements. He came back with an estimate and then we made a commitment. He scheduled the time. They came out and they were done within two and a half hours. Along the way, everyone was very polite and it was very clear in the explanation. Any questions we had were well answered and everyone was very prompt, returned phone calls or emails quickly, made sure that we were scheduled and then checked the schedule a day or two before and since they're coming two days from now or what's with the time. It was all very good. They're a great company. We've used them a couple of times and I would recommend them.

I have known about Renewal by Andersen for years and in my first house, I had Andersen Windows. The quality of their product is fantastic. I purchased the double-hung windows. The rep came out and I showed him what I needed to do. He validated my concerns about my current windows. He was very polite and very articulate. He had a sample of the 400 Series windows, explained to me how they’re different and he was able to go through a whole pricing scenario right there and made it easy to make a decision. The installation was great. The team that they have locally here did a fantastic job. They were here for two and a half days and they were just delightful. I could not recommend them more highly. I was very happy with how the windows were installed.

I bought a replacement window thru Menards and had it installed by a friend. But I found that it was an inferior product. Then I found Renewal by Andersen and I liked their professionalism and the construction of their windows. After doing a little research and based on their reputation, it also seemed that they would be the best choice, so I went with them. Their rep was quite professional and he explained everything very thoroughly. I purchased 14 white double-hung composite and the installers were great in putting them in. All the windows were done in one day during a very cold weather and they are the best quality. They were costly but they're worth it. I know the job was done right and just for the windows, I've already had substantial savings on my heating bill.

We were very happy with Renewal by Andersen. One of their representatives came to the door and we started talking to him since we had to repair a couple of doors anyway. He sounded reasonable and we liked the product. We had them install two doors--one on our deck and another downstairs leading out. The representative and the installers were professional. They were kind and a very good team too. And although the cost was a little expensive, they're good doors and the quality of work done was fantastic. I told my friends to check out Renewal by Andersen and that they make great and beautiful doors and windows.

We signed a contract with Andersen for a door. We didn't hear from them for over 8 weeks. I made phone calls and left messages asking about my door and no one called back. In the meantime, we put our home on that market. The day I called to cancel the door, I finally got a call back saying that my door was ready for installation. What a coincidence! I told them that I did not want the door and they wanted to charge me over $1700 for restocking. When I refused, they sent lawyers after us. I ended up paying almost $1800 and I have nothing to show for it.

Renewal by Andersen did great. I purchased double hung windows from them and everybody that I talked to was very polite. If I had a question, they would answer it right away. I initially went with them because they had a much better window than other companies and their salesman was excellent. Then, their reps completed the installation before the timeline they gave me. They did a very good and clean job. The cost of the windows is high but their quality is excellent and I got what I paid for.

Renewal by Andersen had a deal going on and their customer reviews were good. Their salesman was a nice gentleman, a little chatty for my case, but I'm not faulting the man for wanting to be personable. He had exceptional knowledge on their products, where they were produced, and what the materials were. I purchased a modified bay window from them and they completed its installation within the timeline they gave me. Their reps were all very pleasant and their workers were professional. They were there in a timely manner, completed the job pretty much in a day, and I have no complaints about them. They did a great job with taking me from a single-pane window to double-pane that actually opens so I can get both ventilation as well as energy efficiency. So, as far as installation and look of the windows, they're what I would expect from a professional company. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen.

I have used Renewal by Andersen on three different projects already. They were three different dates with three different contracts. I started with the sliding glass patio door then I had all the windows in my house done. The last one was my garage windows. I got three windows in the garage and had them replaced. I kept using Renewal by Andersen because of the quality of the product and also the thoroughness of the people who came out to do the measuring, the specifications, and the description of the project.

We purchased nine casement windows and a sliding door from Renewal by Andersen since they’re one of the best window retailers out there. Also, the reps were good and knew exactly what they were doing, and they presented themselves the way they should. The installation of the windows took all day and they had to be bundled up because it was cold. They gave us a timeline on how long our window replacement would take and they were within half a day of the time they gave. The windows that I got are of terrific quality and I’d purchase from them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Renewal by Andersen.

A friend of ours works for Renewal by Andersen and I knew that it is a very good product. I found their rep named Gary to be very courteous, responsive to our questions, and very thorough. He really knew the different choices that were available to us, which he also explained. Plus, he did a great job letting us know the whole process.

John from your office has contacted me and has reached out to Andersen Renewal to resolve our problem and I would like to report to you the following situation in sequence of events so you know why we are so upset with Andersen Window Corporation. I was told by John that Renewal Andersen is the same company as Andersen Corporation, same product lines and just a lower division: Your Renewal salesman came to our house sold us the windows with a sample that he brought with him that I can easily open and close. I mentioned that the main reason for replacing the windows is because I'm small, I have a bad shoulder and it was too hard for me to open the old windows. He did NOT disclosed that the actual windows that we ordered will be much harder to open and close than his sample window. Even the strong installation crew agreed with us during the installation our large windows were hard to open.

When we bought the house, it had Andersen windows in it. We've had to call them out before because lightning hit one of them and broke it and they came out and replaced the pane for us to put in. They also worked on our patio door in the back and replaced it. They’ve always been very nice and we've always heard their reputation was terrific. So, when it came to getting some new windows, we went with them. Their rep, Glen, came and we talked. He thought we wanted the double-hung ones that were up there but we said we wanted the casement, the one that you put up and down because we felt they were easier to clean. I'm a little bit older, so the double-hung types were more a problem to me that way. He was understanding and when he came in the next time, he said he noticed that there was a lot of casement windows in my neighborhood and talked to us about it.

I'm in the steel business and a supplier to window manufacturers. I know a lot about the window industry and the sales rep I got from Renewal by Andersen was far more knowledgeable than the reps from the other manufacturers. He worked in the industry for a long time and I could tell right away that he really knew his stuff. I got the higher end all wood double-hung windows for my whole house and they gave me a timeline on how long the window replacement would take. The completion of the installation was close to that timeline and was incredibly fast. They did my whole house in a day but they scheduled it for two days. It was impressive.

My dog got away and I was running around the neighborhood trying to catch it. One of the people that were going door-to-door with the clapboard grabbed the dog for me and at that instant, he made a point of telling me who he was and why he was out there. He was from Renewal by Andersen and at the time, I needed a window in the front of my house. I told him that he could come give me a price but I was not ready then to do the window. It was a holiday weekend and he said that there was a special going. So I ended up getting my giant bow window replaced.

My husband was really impressed with the thermal properties and the efficiency of the windows from Renewal by Andersen. We purchased the slider window from them, and the contractor whom we worked with was very professional and straightforward. But he could’ve used more training on the computer because he seemed to be foregoing with the iPad. Other than that, the installation was completed within the timeline that they provided. It was 12 degrees that day and they went fast. So far, so good. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen to my friends but I would caution them with the sticker shock because I feel that you get what you pay for.

The representatives at Renewal by Andersen are friendly. They provided the information that I needed as a customer. They also provided the experience that I’ll have to go through from me being in the house to how they would operate and how they would execute the product. So I had good clarity and they followed through on it. The installation went well. But the inspector made from our county and said that one of the windows in the bathroom was not fixed. He quoted some standards and I assumed that Anderson, being such a large company, already knew the standard in that city. But they have to come out and reschedule another appointment. That was the only thing that they could have done better.

I looked around a little bit but Renewal by Andersen was a high-quality door and people recommended it. The guy that originally sold me the door explained a lot of the benefits of the weather glass and it turned out to be true. We're getting good insulation and so on and so forth. He was very good and the guys that put it in did a good job and there was a lot of attention to detail. Cost-wise, it was a little more than I anticipated but it was worth the extra dough to get a good installation job and a door. I’m very happy with the process and I would recommend it.

My wife and I purchased a nearly 100-year old home in July 2017 primarily because we loved many of the original details. While we loved the original windows, many did not work and we wanted to have them replaced. After doing some research, we eventually contacted Renewal by Andersen and had a salesperson come to our house in August 2017. Throughout the two-hour plus sales pitch, the salesperson stressed Andersen's quality, customer service, and commitment to customer satisfaction. After being told that we only could receive a certain discount if we ordered that night, we agreed to order 11 custom windows from Renewal by Andersen (and thereafter added two more) for a total cost of $30,000. We were promised installation in October 2017, well before winter set in for us in Buffalo, NY.

Renewal by Andersen is a quality company. They have a good product and they provide good service. When we made the order for 15 double-hung windows and three single windows, the guy came to measure and once when we got our homeowners' approval, they came out and installed them in two days. Since then, I've ordered two dormers which are double hung but they're pretty much inaccessible from the interior of the house and it took three tries to get the right measurement guy out on site who had a ladder to get to it from the exterior. But that's my only complaint so far in the whole process.

This review is based solely on customer service. We signed a contract on October 11, 2017. The contract stated the doors would be installed within 10-12 weeks. In January, after initiating contact, were told our salesman forgot to respond to an email. So we had to sign another contract. We were told the doors would be installed in March. We were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, so we emailed them March 21, asking when they would be installed. The response... "We’re doing the best we can do", April 24th, and an apology. Eh. An apology, after 6 months. This company wants you to sign, and then after that aren’t concerned with your satisfaction. We’ll take our business elsewhere.

I had used Renewal By Andersen several years earlier to put in a few windows and had a good experience then. Then recently I got double hung windows and I had a really good experience with the gentleman we met first. He followed up promptly and appropriately. And also whoever the team leader was during the installation, was very professional and very helpful. It's a situation where windows are never cheap and they're expensive but it's a worthwhile investment. It's a thumbs up all the way around. Everything was great. Overall they were very accurate in what their assessments were in terms of timeframes and everything was pretty much like a clockwork. And the quality seems topnotch.

We notated Renewal by Anderson about a month and a half ago and some sales person had no problem coming right out to talk us into getting the windows. We liked what he was saying at first. But after he left we talked about and felt we were pressed into signing something we ready didn't understand. We tried calling our sales person Dave ** and got no call back for a day or two. Then I keep calling, then he finally answered and said his father had a heart attack, when I said I wanted to talk to him about changing things he said he couldn't talk now because of his father.

My two sons that had theirs done by Renewal by Andersen and they were very satisfied so I purchased the patio door, five regular windows, and one turn-out window for the kitchen from them. The representative that came over explained everything very much in detail. We thought it was going to be a lot more expensive. But when he told us what the cost was going to be, we were very surprised and happy. Then the people that came out to work explained everything that they were going to do and took care of everything as far as trying to keep the floors and the walls nice and clean. In the end, they all did a very good job and we were very pleased with them. The products are very good so far. We've had some very cold weather here and we found that the house seemed to be a lot warmer. If you're interested in getting new windows, Andersen would be the best place to purchase them.

I really liked the look of Renewal by Andersen's windows, the design, and how well they're made. And the lady who was representing them was very kind. She wasn’t too pushy and she said if Andersen would come and do an estimate, it would be good for a year. I didn’t feel like I was obligated, and she made it a very pleasant experience. I also worked with Chris. He came to my house to do an estimate. We looked through all the windows. I was expecting to have to replace more windows, and upon his review, he said the windows here are really good and they just needed to be finished being placed in. I had an older home and someone didn’t finish putting the windows in. So, a couple of the windows just needed to be redone and he helped me understand the process of doing that.

I know people in the construction and the supplies industries, and I liked Renewal by Andersen's reputation. Someone was in the neighborhood going door-to-door trying to set up appointments and he just happened to catch us on the right day. Usually, we send everyone away. It happened to be a very drafty day in my house. And he passed the contact off to Mike who was the sales rep and he came over and gave us the sales pitch. And we weren’t prepared to do the work, but we really needed it. So, we were sold. I got double-hung windows from them.

The Renewal by Andersen salesman came out and spent three hours with me going through all the products. We picked out the doors, hardware and options that I wanted. Then, the pre-installation guy came out and he went through everything else with me again. And then, the guys called me at 7:30 that morning and said they'd be there in 30 minutes and they were there. They jumped right in and they were done an hour before they said they were going to be done. The windows look really nice and I'm looking forward to spring when I can open them. My husband has also been very pleased with the quality, workmanship and price. You always find something less than what you paid for, but we got our money's worth. It was a very positive experience and I'm very satisfied.

We didn’t know about purchasing new windows and the reps of Renewal by Andersen provided all the information that was needed. Their expertise was the best that I have seen. I got a double-hung window and a sliding door from them. The installers were on time and they were very clean and professional. And they left everything as if nothing happened so it was great. The windows have high quality and we were very satisfied with the service of Andersen.

Renewal by Andersen did their job perfectly with our windows. I was looking everything initially and the choices that they have were the main thing I purchased from them. Also, quality-wise, there were only three at the top. The guy from sales was great. I talked to him and then he did everything. They had a shipping issue so I had to reschedule once, but after that, the window replacement was completed in the timeline that was set. The installers were pretty good too. I bought a lot of windows, picture windows, and double hung with sliders and their quality was great, although the cost was more compared to other companies like Stella or Marvin. The only thing I'm supposed to do is call Renewal by Andersen when they will work because one of the picture windows is not exactly the right angle. Still, I'm happy with them.

I saw a display of Renewal by Andersen's products at the Minnesota State Fair. I purchased a replacement window from them. They were very busy at that time. There was a lady who came out and took measurements, we picked out the window, and she said the timeline would be like a month a half. She was nice and she seemed to know what she was talking about. The installation went fine, too. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen. I'm very happy with them.

We’ve had Andersen windows almost throughout our whole house. We had a big bay window done a long time ago and now we had two sliding doors made with them. They called, came out, measured, and then made an appointment to come back and install it. It went nice and smooth. The installation took a day for the two top-notch installers. They were very clean and they put up the screen and plastic so it didn’t dirty up the house. The floors were still nice and clean, the rug was put back the way it should’ve been, and everything was good. They had quite a job and they didn’t damage anything. But we have a little issue, which might be just with their caulking, so a rep will be coming out on Monday and we’re going to discuss with him and see how to fix it.

I have done repeated business with Renewal by Andersen for windows. I got some double hung windows. They gave me a timeline on how long it was going to take and they made it a reality. Their representative has integrity and he was also very knowledgeable. Plus the installation was done professionally. The windows are nice and I'd use them again.

I needed to replace some of my old Andersen windows and the sales rep from Renewal by Andersen sold the deal. She told me everything I wanted to and was in the price range I was willing to pay. They replaced nine windows and the installation was done in a day. And they left the house looking better than it was when they came. That was unbelievable. Everything they said came true. I'm a salesman and it doesn't get any better than that. I'm going to get a new house in a couple of years and I will probably be calling them again.

My husband and I agree that our purchase of windows from Renewal by Andersen was one of the biggest mistakes we ever made. We paid way more than we should have. I believe that had we not accepted their "best" offer under pressure of it expiring in 72 hours, we probably would have gotten much better offers from them in due time. Now that our windows have been in place for over two years, I think I can review them fairly. While we no longer have ice build-up between interior windows and the storm windows, which is a positive, we also are no longer as warm as we were with our old windows.

My daughter told me about Renewal by Andersen and I felt they had the better door over other retailers. I got high quality sliding patio doors and I’m very pleased with them. Their cost was a fair amount. Also, everybody seemed very much on top of things and they seemed to know exactly what they were doing. I would recommend this company.

Renewal by Andersen had a salesman come out, measure, and give us an estimate for windows replacement in our condo last summer. Then, we talked with a few other people and we didn't do anything for a while. Winter came and it got really cold because the old windows were leaking and rainwater came through inside. We finally decided to go ahead and do it in late December. I didn't get to it this time and manufactured until I get an installer and it was late January. When we decided to do it, it was the same salesman who came and re-measured. We went through it again and they contacted me when it was ready and set a date for installation.

I'm a repeat customer of Renewal by Andersen and I recently bought a new patio door. The salesman was great. Everything was documented and explained in very good detail. The technician who came out was very polite, courteous, knew what he was doing and explained the process all the way through. Everything was excellent. There was a snowstorm that day and it took him from 8:30 in the morning til 3:00 in the afternoon to finish the job. The door was a great product and I had a great experience.

A couple of years ago, my neighbor got an Andersen door. She was completely happy with it. I liked it and Renewal by Andersen sounded like a reliable company. I got a whole indoor door from them. I also had a screen door on that same side. They told us about how long the replacement would take and everything was in accord. I am overjoyed with my door. It was two doors, a storm door and a screen door, and they’re both of much better quality than what we had.

I visited their Livonia MI showroom today with a few questions about purchasing french doors. The fellow in the showroom knew very little about the product, couldn't answer any questions & didn't offer to get me any answers. My french doors WILL be replaced this spring, but Anderson is now out of the running.

I did some research and I did see there was a half-hour show on some channel that Renewal by Andersen had and showed the difference between everything. I've also heard from other folks that they're the best. I had the salesperson, Fred, come out and he was excellent. He explained all the advantages and the differences, etc. in the different types of windows that are out there on the market. He was very thorough, took his time, answered all the questions I had and reviewed all of the options whether to use wood or Fibrex in the interior or replacing the trim around the windows in the exterior. He was very professional. He also said there was an option for a zero interest loan that I could take for part of the windows.

I had Renewal by Andersen replace four windows. I like the quality of their product and I also heard good things about them. The salesman was very good about following through and keeping in touch. He was very customer-service-oriented and always got back to me when I had a question. He did a very good job. We had a difficult deal and he stayed with it. I was given a timeline on how long it would take the replacement. They kept following through on it, but the timeline kept getting pushed out of line. But it was not their fault. There were issues with the historic district in Boston that we were having issues with.

I definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen. My short interaction with the door-to-door salesman who has come around was fine. Also, the installers were fantastic and really impressed me.

Renewal by Andersen’s reputation made me purchase from them fixed-like picture and sliders over other window retailers. When their sales person said, “Hey, we’re running a special and you can get this extra discount in the next 24 - 48 hours”, I went from there to the sales rep that went through the details and both of those experiences were fine. I was impressed with their detailed planning which includes the software, measurements, pricing, pricing options and all of the ability to collect and present that information quickly using the tools that they were provided. The scheduling of the installation process was clear and their arrival was on time. When the installers put in the product, they completed it in one day and they beat the timeline they provided. Also, the quality of their windows is excellent.

The four windows we got from Renewal by Andersen are warm and cozy and we love them. They were gorgeous. The guy who initially came in to show us what the windows were made of really sold them well. He was great and he made his case. We love the installers, too. They were neat and clean and picked up after themselves. We had a really cold winter at the beginning, so it would have been nice to have the windows earlier, but the timeline totally worked within what we needed. We like the product. They were pricey. But, so far, it seems like they'd be worth it. I noticed immediately how much warmer the house is. And there is a highway not far from my son's side of the house and it's noisy in there. But he told me, without even any prompting, that it is a lot quieter now in his room.

I’ve used Renewal by Andersen before at two different times and I was satisfied. I recently purchased one door and eight windows from them. The installation took about a week or two because the door took a long time, but the installers had been good. I had to call them back though on two of my windows. They were leaking and they came back and fixed it. The service has been great. If anything happens, I can call them and they come. Renewal's product is the best that I could see. You’re paying a bit more but you’re getting a better quality. I have a duplex home and I needed a breakdown of the cost for my tenant’s side of the house so I can use them for my taxes. But as of now, I'm still waiting for them to answer. The salesman never returned my call. He said he was going to get it in the morning but I never got it. I’m going to have to call the office and see if they can help me.

I liked Renewal by Andersen's price and their installation was less complicated. We had six windows installed and they were right on the money. It took exactly as long as they said it would. Their reps were all great, the windows looked wonderful and the installation was done perfectly. I’m totally satisfied with them. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

We had been hearing good things about Renewal by Andersen and we were quite sure of the quality of window that we would get. We purchased hung windows and the representative explained everything. Also, the installation was completed in 14 hours which was within the given timeline. The windows were good quality although the price is kind of high. I'm glad they have some kind of financing available so that we can take our time and pay it off.

We were looking to replace two of the windows in our house and we had a couple more that needed to be replaced. We had Renewal by Andersen redo the upstairs windows. They said they would finish the installation in one day and they did. Also, the rep I worked with was friendly and courteous. He helped us out. The only thing is that there was no follow up call from the rep himself about how it went, especially because we got the whole downstairs if we were to do that in the future. But the windows are top quality. I'm sure I could have gotten something cheaper, but I didn’t want to put back in the same stuff that I had in there.

6 Anderson Fibrex double hung windows installed 7/21/2017, called in early December 2017 advising the lower sashes on all 6 double hung windows were leaking air. Company sent a repair person out to check "H" gaskets in corners and replace one that was missing. Did not fix problem and actually caused increased air at top of lower sash on all 6 double hung windows. Company sent another repair person to check installation; interior and exterior which visually looks fine. Remedy, install chimney plugs in lower sash side tracks. That reduced the air migration by about 80% but air continued to leak along both sides and front of all 6 lower sashes. I applied slight pressure to center of lower sashes (6) and it flexes by about 3/8". Took video of duct taped windows and flex in lower sash, sent to company and they sent another repair person out.

We have cottage windows, which have two muntins on top and three on the bottom. When we had some windows put in before, Andersen couldn't do that so we never did the front windows. But this time around, we did the front windows when I chose Andersen. The sales guy was very good and thorough. We knew that it would take about a month to build the windows and then a day to install them. The contractors who did the installation was very good as well. Andersen windows are horrendously expensive, but they are breathtaking. And they're very, very, very good windows. The biggest surprise is how much quieter they are. Everything went exactly the way they said it would and we're very pleased with it. I'm glad we did it.

I love Renewal by Andersen. When we extended our living room 10 years ago, we put in large Andersen in the front of the house and at the side. And the windows are still beautiful. We have so many additional windows that we were very happy with, and that's why I bought six windows from them again. The cost is justifiable because of the quality of the windows. It was a little more than the replacement windows we had when we first purchased the house, but it's no comparison to the quality. Everything went beautifully from the sales representative that came out to the installers.

I like Renewal by Andersen’s reputation and quality. We knew it was going to be more expensive, but we have always heard good things about them, and we wanted something that was going to last. The salesman was super knowledgeable. He has been selling windows for a long time and he has sold for one of their competitors before, so he knew what he was talking about. I used their windows once upon a time too, so I can find out if somebody is not telling me the full truth. He gave us expectations as far as how long it would take to have the patio doors custom-made and when we could possibly have the install done. We purchased 17 windows and two patio doors, as well as some sliders, a couple of pictures, and some casement.

We needed new windows so we got three picture windows across the front, sliders, a door wall and an interior wall from Renewal by Anderson. They went out of their way to do an excellent job and I was very happy. They were vacuuming as they went out the front door. Also, there was a problem in our house which was caused by another contractor and they fixed it. The windows look extremely nice. We've had rain up to three inches in the last few days and the windows didn't seem to get dirty on the outside. They didn't have all the water spots and they seemed nice and clear.

I always liked Andersen but when I moved back to my dad, he had the original windows and he wanted sliders. I thought, “Oh, I don’t want sliders this time.” Then there was tint because I had planned to get them. A gentleman stopped at the house by chance and he was from Renewal by Andersen, “Because I was just wondering if you were looking to get windows?” I said, “I am actually, eventually next year.” He asked if I want him to set up an appointment to have them come out and give me all the details and show me the windows so I agreed. When the rep brought the window and the sample I asked where the screen was and he said that it was on. I told him I’ve never seen a screen like it and it looks like I'm looking without a screen.

I’ve had the Andersen windows before in my first home years ago and I liked them. Everything seemed good with the advertisement on TV and I stuck with Andersen. I liked their products so I went with it. The representative sized the windows up when he came and he explained everything. He said he was going to send the guy out to take measurements again and it all worked out well. He was good at what he did. I got two windows and it’s the regular kind that goes up and down. Then, I have the turn-out windows for most of the house. Three guys came for the installation and they took the windows off and replaced them.

I’m in the construction industry and Renewal by Andersen’s reputation is stellar. It was said that they were a lot more expensive than Pella’s but I hoped for quality and that I would get a return on the investment so I went with Andersen. I replaced every window in the house and that cost about $40,000, which was more than my car’s value. Andersen’s reps were very good and patient. The one who sold me on the products was Dave and he was outstanding. He helped me walk through the timeline and later, he came out to make sure that the installation was going well.

Ok, do not buy from this company. I had 5 windows installed and paid over $9,000! I recently found out that I was charged more than double of what I should have been. But being a single woman, what do I know about windows. Being total taken advantage of! Lesson learned. The sales rep refused to answer my emails, I requested a breakdown cost of each window and never received it. He told me that they don't receive commission but I find that hard to believe now. The sales rep told me to have all the windows changed out in my home would be $30,000!!! I do have to say the installers were great, did a great job, friendly and very professional. The cost is outrageous!!! Not worth that kind of money.

I bought sliding glass doors from Renewal by Andersen. We did not expect its price to be that high, but I guess that what you have to pay for high quality. Their sales rep was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions. We were warned ahead of time that he might take 90 minutes, but he took longer than that. He even explained the manufacturing of the materials. We were done long before he was. The installation also took longer than what we expected but we ended up very happy with the finished product. The people who came to install were professionals and did a very good job. A couple of them were Russian and they spoke Russian all the time amongst themselves and I did not really know what was going on but they were good. I would recommend Renewal by Andersen.

When I had a previous install with Renewal by Andersen, I got along well with their sales rep and decided to go with them again. We had them put a double case crank window and a sliding window. Their installers were outstanding and kept me abreast of what was going on. They were on time and courteous. They were just what I want to have for people that are coming to my house to take care of that part. The quality of the windows are fine. It was 20 below last night and I was only mildly chilling. They were pricey but I’m happy with the product and it works fine.

We needed a patio door that was almost custom-built because we didn’t want to alter the space in any way. The initial Andersen salesman that came was great. The installer showed up alone, did all the cleaning and he did a super nice installation. They were within the timelines they laid out. In fact, they were a little earlier. However, I was rushed so I didn’t ask him questions about the patio door locks because we thought it was a different type of latch. It’s spring-loaded and rotates a little bit different than the others so it feels kind of loose in the slot. We called Andersen and the person on the phone wasn’t aware of that so I had to schedule the serviceman to come out. The serviceman looked at it and confirmed it was a nice installation which we knew all along. Overall, I had a positive experience. The patio is top-quality and we’re extremely satisfied with it. I would recommend them.

I chose Renewal by Andersen for their reputation, and I purchased the crank-out windows from them. We had somebody come out to our house and gave us a quote. My husband's interaction with the rep was pretty flawless. We got the Renewal team out right after State Fair time, so there were extra incentives in terms of reductions if we signed up that same night. We ended up agreeing to it that night for the three-bedroom windows, and we did the credit card.

I got a new sliding door for my deck from Renewal by Andersen since the one that was initially installed in the house was leaking because it was installed incorrectly. I was impressed with what I saw when the salesperson came out. I've also heard good things about them from other people who have used them. It was also nice that the rep came all the way out to our house since I live a way out. They looked at the existing door to see if there was anything they could do repair-wise to it, but they determined that they couldn’t. They then walked me through the different products that were available, the prices and financing options. We then settled on a door that day.

We got 90% of our windows changed from Renewal by Andersen. Windows don't let sun heat come through, our whole house is now more colder than before. Our previous windows were 29 years old. They had condensation in them and also were not soundproof. So we thought of changing them. Labor was quick to install windows in 2 days and also vacuumed the mess. But it's winter and our heater is working more and air has become dry because there is no sun warmth to heat up the home from inside. I wish I could get back my old windows.

In fact, I sold some Andersen windows and I had the impression that Andersen was a high-quality window and I wanted to get some of those windows too. Rich, the salesperson who came out to quote us on the windows was very sociable and friendly. He did a good job. He gave us all the details that we needed to know about the project and the quality of the windows. He also answered all our questions. What impressed me about him was his willingness to travel long ways for sales calls. He worked around our schedule and we appreciated the whole interaction.

Close to a year prior, we had done a patio door with a rep at Renewal by Andersen. We initially went to the State Fair and sat with them and then he came out the first time and we called him back and said that we're going to do the door. We were really happy with it so six months later, we called up Renewal by Andersen again around State Fair time and had them come out, and decided it on six other windows that we had hung by December. We stayed in contact with him the whole time and we went straight to our initial contact. He was very easy to talk to and very understanding, and we felt no pressure. But the presentation sold us on it. We purchased the crank windows and the installers called and told us that they were all ready to go. They came in and it was all done within the day, which was super surprising. They went way fast. They laid down the paper on the floor and did everything from the inside, which I was surprised with too.

Renewal by Andersen has a reputation for being a better class retailer. I purchased two sliding doors from them. Their representative was pleasant and a suitable person to talk to, and I got him out a couple of different times. He was fairly knowledgeable about their product and other products as well. And then, he also came on the day of the installation for a short while. It was below freezing that day and the salesperson and I hanged some vest screen in the doorway. And that way, we were able to maintain heat in the other half of the house. And the two installers went to work and they completed it on time. They cleaned up their mess as well. The sliding glass doors were fine. They're a little bit on the expensive side, but one has to pay for higher quality windows and doors. I'd recommend Renewal by Andersen.

We’ve had Andersen windows in the past. We like their reputation and TV ads. Recently, we purchased some French doors and a sliding glass window. I called and they sent someone out within a couple of days. They asked what we wanted and they have met our needs. Six weeks later, somebody came and installed the unit. The cost was a little high but I was very satisfied with their product. I would definitely tell others that having Andersen is worthwhile.

The rep came to my house with another gentleman, and they both were extremely knowledgeable. They sold me their windows and the rep explained everything very well, much more so than another company had done the day before. They went around and looked at my windows and then they gave me suggestions for the windows I might like and what kind of windows I might like to use as well. They gave me two or three different quotes which I liked, and they weren’t pushy at all. I really liked that. I was talking to people who really knew what they were doing.

We replaced one of our bedroom windows, and we also replaced the master bedroom's patio sliding doors. The house is about 18 years old and we put Andersen in at the very beginning so they knew exactly what we have and was able to match everything up. We had the salesperson come out and he showed us the different options on the different types of windows. Once we picked it out and made sure all the hardware was correct, he placed the order. Then, the installers and the strainers came out to take a look and re-measure, and the order was placed.

Since I've already worked with their rep, we recently decided on what we wanted to put in and ordered them in. It was a matter of seeing if we could make it work, and he did. Their installers worked very well with me. Though we had a little problem after the windows were sized wrong, they did some additional trim work and we were able to make them look like they belong. We just let it be rather than having to remake the windows. And although the cost of the windows will always be way too high, I got a very good straight and swing out windows from Renewal. They were also able to complete the installation way before the timeline they provided. I was very happy with it and I'd definitely tell friends to go with them.

The Renewal by Andersen rep was very helpful and he seemed to know the product very well. The installers came in sooner than anticipated which was good. They were here right at 8:00 o' clock sharp and they finished up in the midafternoon. We love the way our windows look. They did a really good job and I would recommend them.

We wanted to maintain a good look that we have on the other windows and wanted to do some styled window so we were replacing windows with newer ones. These windows that we had were original in the house. We were able to look at different options with Renewal by Andersen when they came into our house. The rep that I worked with was able to look at different sizes. We had a split window and she was able to put a window that didn’t have a center divider in it so we have a solid glass now. They had variety and we got to choose the type of hardware in the comfort of our home. We went with all wood to match our main level and then our lower level was more of a vinyl. We did sliding glass doors of the kitchen and a bedroom window downstairs that were a bit old and a safety hazard.

I like Renewal by Andersen's reputation and I had referrals from my family members. We got four windows replaced, three slider windows and one awning, and their entire process was easy to go through. Their rep came to our house a day or two after we requested a quote and he spent a lot of time looking at all the different situations that we had and making recommendations. He was great to work with. Also, the installers were really nice, helpful and they finished the installation on time. They showed up first thing in the morning and they worked around the different rooms so that my daughter can have her room for nap time. The cost, however, was very expensive but the quality is good. I hope that the products installed will last a long time.

We had Renewal by Andersen replace the original windows of our home. We had double hung windows done to look like the ones they were going to replace. We also added a couple of extra panes on the upper portion of it for separation and a different look. The units, however, took a while to be ready. We had somebody come out in late September but nobody gave us a call back so we called them. After that, somebody came out to do the estimate. From that time, which was the last week of September, it took two weeks before somebody came out and took the measurements.

Our condominium association required us to do a renewal with Andersen. I bought the patio doors. Andersen provided a timeline for the replacement and completed this installation within the timeline but not for the initial one. The installation for the renewal was good. It took two days. They had to do some tear out. They're all different projects. They took stuff out one day and put it in the next. My rep was good. He got it done nicely. My sister lives in that condo and she hasn't complained about the quality.

I previously bought Renewal by Andersen slider door from Home Depot and I was happy with the quality. And then, they had a presentation at the state fair. They had a whole big display house set up, so it was easy to look at it. Then we had the person come over, did some measurement, and went over all the options, and he explained the financing, the cost, and everything else. It was easy for us so I bought six double-hung windows and one more slider from them. Their installers were quick, professional, and very clean. And the windows seem to be topnotch as well. They are a big improvement over other ones. Overall, although their products are a little more expensive than a lot of the other cheaper replacements, the way Renewal by Andersen crew installed them and everything makes them worth it. They made it simple for us and I would definitely recommend them.

We had slider windows done by Renewal by Andersen. The windows were brand new and the quality was good. I was a little surprised at the cost, but I had no reference points to compare it against. During installation, everything went very well. Their installation crew was very courteous and did a professionally nice job. The windows looked great, but I didn't plan the installation to be that long. The first day took 10 hours, next was an 11-hour day and the next day was a 12-hour day. It was a two-man crew and there should've been more people engaged with it.

But when he left my house, I felt totally confused because I didn't know what I was getting. He spent a ton of time here, but he simply told me what I would get. I ended up having to go to the showroom afterward to see what I was really getting. It would have been good if there were more pictures just to be a little bit clearer. The guys who came over to do the installation were awesome. It was a month later by the time they actually showed up though, but they did a really good job. They finished the job in the three days that they set up for it. They did everything right, put runners down and even cleaned up after themselves. The windows are great and they don't fog up. The house is warmer and I could tell the difference. Overall, it was a good experience for me and I would definitely recommend them.

Renewal by Andersen had the best match for an older house for me, and that's what I really wanted. I also like the sales people. It was one gal and she was super informative. And the installer was very patient and informative. The double hung I bought has excellent quality too. It was higher-end but you get what you pay for. It was a good experience and I'd recommend them.

The most recent windows that we purchased were the crank-outs and Renewal by Andersen lived up to the timeline the replacement would take. We had already bought three patio doors earlier in the year when we recently purchased the house. We had been upgrading things so we let the rep know we were ready to do windows. He stopped over, set it up, and it was very easy. His expertise was excellent. He knew everything that needed to be done and adjusted a couple of things to make them work better on the new installation. He was really good to deal with.

Renewal by Andersen has a really good reputation and that's why I chose them. I had been in a street fair and they had a booth. I was talking to a woman there and they offered some promos. She hooked me up with the gentleman who came out to look at my house and gave me an estimate. He came out and we had a discussion and looked at exactly what I wanted to be done and then he told me what he could do. I purchased windows for my whole house and a patio door. The temperatures have dipped down to freezing during the weeks that the installers came but the installation went very smoothly. They didn't leave anything exposed for very long. They had a window taken out and then one put in and sealed up before they ever went on and exposed anything else so I appreciated that. They cleaned up the yard and the house afterward. It was incredible.

I've worked with Renewal by Andersen twice now and I've had a great experience with them. The most recent one, I replaced a fixed window and two sliders in the living room, a fixed window in the bedroom closet, and two casements in the master bedroom. It was also the second time I worked with the rep so I was familiar with him and he knew our home and how we liked to do things, which made me feel comfortable. We went through all the different options and he paid attention to my cost concerns and I was fully aware. He also had a really calm manner.
