    Customer service is a joke, they talk down to you. Make sure you don't file ANYTHING with them for at least 45 days. They will take your claim but not remind you that they don't cover anything for at least 45 days. Make sure you read, highlight and call them about every little discrepancy you find. Waste of money.

    I did not like the way the representative responded to me. Not a very good customer service person. I felt like I was being rushed to spend my money and I had to ask for clarity of what I was being offered. You have great overall reviews, which is why I was considering this company, but after thinking about how inconsiderate the attitude Alex displayed, I have changed my mind to go with a company that was attentive, provided great customer service, and cared about me knowing details of what I was getting. If a Rep is uncaring, I am wary about how the Services could be. I felt like it was, "Here, sign up for this service, and you can figure out what it entails later. Let me just get this sale".

    Having Regency Total Warranty service on hand when an urgent home maintenance issue occurs is comforting. My main refrigerator gave out, and as soon as I submitted a maintenance request and was put into contact with a professional technician in my area of town, it was less than a few hours. A qualified professional technician from Whirlpool came out and quickly assessed the issue, repaired my refrigerator, explained the issue and left us very satisfied with his work.

    When I called Regency Total Warranty to request a service call for my leaking toilet, I thought it was the seal at the bottom of the toilet. I was immediately referred to a Plumbing Company, and my scheduled appointment was for the very next day. The technician arrived and examined the problem, which turned out to be two rusted screws in the tank.     I went on the website and completed my enrollment for Total Guard Plan. Two minutes after I got a call from a Bill ** stating that he could save me more money to lower my payment. He asked me a few questions and one of them was, "Are you a senior citizen," and I said yes and he said, "We have a discount for that and your payment will be now 39.99 vs. 45.83." He canceled my original payment and then charged my card the 39.99. I have not received the amended policy to reflect the change in the payment. I just called him and he said that the 39.99 was for the regular plan not the Total Guard Plan and he cannot change it to 45.83. He lied to me and my bank shows two withdrawals. One for 45.83 and one for 39.99. Can someone help me please. I am furious and will report to the Consumer Affairs if someone does not call me to fix this issue.

    I put in a claim for my breaker box on 03/10/25. I awoke and found my electricity off. I checked my breaker box and it had tripped. I turned it back on and 15 minutes later it tripped again.     Water kept pouring out of the overflowing toilet tanks in spite of every effort to regulate the flush valves. A very knowledgeable plumber came and shut off the toilet water supply until the flush valves were replaced. The toilet tanks are functioning properly now.     I called to put in a claim for my dishwasher and washing machine and no one has showed up to help fix my appliances after waiting all day at home from a day off from work. No one bothered to call and when I called to get an explanation or send someone else that could help me and I leave a voice mail message after someone telling me that I would get a return call, no one calls back and when I called back to get help, I get hung in the face. So this is how I get treated after spending my money. No thank you. I am going to cancel my service because I waited patiently. ✋️

    I am not happy with the communication of this company. It was difficult to get emails from them on conversations that we had. Communication is everything and I was not satisfied with that. We did resolve the issue somewhat. They don’t give you a breakdown of how they decide to credit your account when you request to cancel it. I did receive some of the money back with no breakdown of how they got to the actual amount of refund. Moving forward I hope this company improves on their communication with their customers.

    I put a claim in for service and no one called me back to let me know what is going on. They just sent me an email stating that they received the claim. Every time I call I get the same person Billy on the phone. He is from sales and no matter what extension I press it goes to him. He said when other reps are busy the calls automatically go to him. So if I call for service I get him, if I call for billing I get him, if I call for anything he answers. This company is a SCAM!!!

    I would not recommend this company to ANYBODY. Signing up was easy - the agent was nice and friendly. A month later, I needed to file a claim. The agent I spoke with on the phone literally yelled at me when I asked questions about my coverage. When I asked for a supervisor, he said he is one. I asked for another one to call me back and later one did. I was able to file my claim but explained I was really skeptical at this point as I’d never received any confirmation of my policy since signing up, and due to my previous encounter with the agent. I was told in 24 hours I’d be contacted regarding my claim via email. I never was contacted. I decided to cancel because it feels very scammy. I called in to cancel and the agent asked for my policy number - I couldn’t provide it due to never having received any policy docs.

    I tried to explain that not having ever gotten policy docs is why I want to cancel and the agent was rude. He said in a very snarky and condescending way “We’re not scamming you out of 42 a month” and when he tried to verify my email, "I said that’s not my email." He asked, “So how did we get this email.” I stated, "It’s off slightly so the rep I signed up with must have entered it in wrong" and he told me “Get off his phone”. I asked for confirmation of refund and cancellation and he said, I’m “thirsty for $42.00”. I have disputed with my bank as I have not received a refund or any docs stating I had a policy or a refund yet.
