    Regency never sent me a copy of the warranty until 8/6 at which time I was told I couldn't cancel with them for 365 day as my contract was annual. They took $ 399.99 out of my account three months in a row after I told them I couldn't afford to have this done. I was told in July that they would refund the 2nd payment but never received and they charged me again in August. I am now stuck with this company for a whole year and I am not sure I trust them after they lied to me about my refund.

    I made a mistake of purchasing a 3-year home warranty from Regency. I was greatly disappointed on the way they handled my first claim for a water heater that does not ignite. I was referred to 3 different companies and when the last plumbing company gave them the diagnosis and repair estimate at $1,700, Regency agreed to cover only $175. I cancelled the claim and my altogether out of disappointment. Then I was told that I can only get refunded after 1 year from date of purchase.

    On the day I paid for this plan, I was made to believe by the agent and reassured me that I can cancel the policy at any time if I don’t need it anymore or not satisfied with it. Now I felt misled and totally regret my decision to purchase a long-term policy from Regency. I felt trapped with this insurance that does not serve its purpose. And I hope to warn others not to fall into the same mistake I did.

    Difficult to access this co, no website but just one phone number. The initial agent who sold policy seemed great but the company is not customer friendly. After 2 months enrolled, made a service request, gets denied which is ridiculous. No follow-up. Can't reach them ,& kitchen sink has been out for almost 2 weeks!!!

    I had the warranty for a little over a month when I had a major leak in my bath. When I called, I was first told that it wasn't covered. Although to be fair, English was not her first language and it took a while before she understood my issue. In the meantime, water was leaking out of my wall. I'm elderly and I had to crawl under my house and shut off the main. I waited 2 days for a response and it was all through email. No real human contact. By then, I had called a plumber and I was done with this company. No real human contact, had to wait on hold forever until I gave up and just waited for a response via email. Horrible service. I canceled after a month and a week. They only returned a small portion of my payment, I paid for a year and they kept about $150 of my $400. Pitiful, just Pitiful. I wish I'd never signed up for this service. AWFUL!

    In fact, I had to follow up with the office to inquire about the status of two work orders we had with them. The service technician arrived and completed the task satisfactorily. My only advice is that after they leave the task, they indicate if the work has been completed or if it requires additional work. They were skilled, however, and they were wonderful, very nice, and professional when I followed up with them. Overall, I had a positive experience.

    The home warranty is almost a joke. Be-aware that if your claim is denied once you cannot put another claim for same equipment for next 12 months. My A/C claim was denied last time so I got the equipment fixed outside my pocket. After a month or so a different problem came which is covered by the warranty however because the first claim was denied, it automatically voids any future claims until 12 months. Be careful what you sign up for. This is something that I haven't heard before.

    Alex was very happy to sign me up for this fake warranty. Took my money with a smile. But when I called in a claim, he was rude and unprofessional. Saying that I only paid $80 and expected a $2500 dishwasher. That was not the case. Then he hung up on me. My dishwasher is still broken. Lesson learned. What a scam.

However,! this guy named Jess was lying to me when I asked him if my icemaker on my counter top would be covered and he said yes only to find out it did not.     The man who I talked to was very pleasant and very informative. Any question I asked, he had an answer right away. I’m very pleased with what is covered and the price that I am paying. The only other thing I would like to say is that I did feel somewhat pressured by the salesman to continue my coverage more than the one year that I expressed I wanted. I too can be firm and told him please do not pressure me any further to buy any more years of coverage ahead of time. I need to see how I like the service, and if it’s worth it when it comes time that a repair will be needed. It’s at that time. I will decide whether to enroll two or three years at a time to save money.

    As a realestate agent I will strongly discourage ALL my clients against Regency. My house has been 99° for a MONTH! Waiting for them to approve/deny. They did not communicate with me. Then denied me based off their 30+45=75 day policy. Which was not made clear initially. I had to hunt them down for that answer. Why didn't they tell me that a month ago? I even paid out of pocket for a tech to come diagnose my AC because Regency "couldn't find anyone". I am so disappointed.

    I called the Regency to have my air conditioner fixed. When that technician went out and told we to see that it's a leak in the lines and it need a freon they said it's not part of my policy. So I paid out of pocket over $1,600 to get the freon restored in my unit. 4 days later the air conditioner stopped working again so I called Regency back and they said I'm only allowed one service call on my air conditioner per year.

    We have had terrible plumbing issues, and they have fixed them without ever asking if they were covered. They have really polite individuals. They are always very quick; it is not their fault if it takes them a while to get someone out here. Very pleasant individuals to work with. They have addressed every topic we requested of them. Other than that, they have been a pleasure to work with. At one time, we had a problem that was the city's problem, and they obviously did not cover that. We have renewed each year we have lived here, and I have been incredibly pleased with them. I have told friends about them.

The contractor could not perform what he needed to do until he had the go-ahead from Regency Total Warranty, which kind of tied us up, but not too much.

    This has been the worst home warranty company I have ever dealt with. My central air conditioning unit went down. They assigned two companies to me to do the work, when I called the companies they stated they do not work with warranty companies and would not do the work. I escalated the situation and never received a call. I was even yelled at my a representative stating it was busy and I needed to give them time. I finally found someone on my own that would send the issue to them, all of a sudden the AC unit was not covered. They do not have set companies they work with and state that if you find someone all they need to do is call the claims department and they will instantly be paid for the work. But they deny almost every claim. It is a total scam. They do not help at all and have so many reasons why work can not be done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, you will regret it.

    This company is awful! We have an issue with one of our appliances that should be covered under the contract. My husband has filed a claim and there hasn't been any contact. He called to inquire about the claim submitted and was told that he could find someone and they would reimburse. He was like, no, I need someone to come out. Later, he was told that he was scheduled after he asked to cancel the contract. They never scheduled anyone and would not cancel the contract. Our contract was paid in full and they have NOT provided any service!! Just a constant shuffle and scam!! The only contact we have with someone from this company is if we initiate. They DO NOT follow up!!

    The first time I called for AC service, everything went well and was very happy with the response. A few months later, I called again for AC service and the initial process was smooth and they sent a technician the next day. After that, even though the technician told me he was sending the diagnosis report that day, every time I called Regency for status update, I keep getting different answers, such as, we haven’t received the report, followed by they sent it to wrong email and we have provided them the correct email should we receive it within an hour, after that again we haven’t received it.

    After three days, I got an email request to provide a three-year maintenance record. I told them I change filters every 3 to 4 months, provided them with an invoice for a deep cleaning of ducts and told them the rest been taken care of by home warranty. After a while, I was told I don’t have three year written maintenance record so, they refused to fix my AC after almost two weeks of back and forth. They made all this excuse not to fix it because the quote for repair was $1100.00. I will take a legal action but I will be canceling my contract with them. I will tell anyone to stay away from Regency.

    Initially I felt somewhat pressured into making a decision to purchase a policy. The policy didn't have the terms I agreed to on the phone and I had to go back and forth several times to get the agreed upon terms in writing and reflected in the actual policy. From there I had billing issues, there is no way to access my account, payment methods, personal information or to just maintain my policy. I called to cancel and was told I have to wait for a service rep to call me back. I am assuming this is so they can try to talk me into keeping the policy. I don't feel comfortable with this company. Everything is suspect and unprofessional in my opinion.

    Even though I informed them on the first phone contact that I had selected a different warranty, I have received far too many calls. I called back and spoke with a manager because the first man who kept calling me was so impolite.     The worst company ever. My pool filter failed because it cracked open. They would not replace it. Normal wear and tear bull when a part fails. I paid for the policy for my pool equipment, the most expensive part of filter system. Go figure. Right there. Totally a rip off.

    I called on Sunday. I had previously scheduled an appointment for the contractor to come out on Monday and did not anticipate them to fix the problem at the same time, but they did, and my air conditioner was fixed that day.     Initially, I had three appliances that need repair within a week. Regency Total Warranty sent me three separate referrals, which was quite inefficient. I called them and asked if I could just have one of them come out because we had worked with him before. They agreed, and it made my life significantly better. I just paid a one-time price rather than three times because only one worker came out to service me. It was practical, efficient, and they collaborated with me.

    We were not feeling the cooling from the unit, and it was quite hot. The young contractor had a good deal of information. To find out what he need, he got in touch with Regency Total Warranty. He needed to add extra Freon. The air conditioner has been operating smoothly ever since the repair. I was happy about everything that happened.

    When an appliance you use frequently breaks down, it's never fun. When our washing machine stopped working, we called our Regency Total Warranty company and submitted a service request. They were very helpful in setting up a service appointment for us as soon as possible and even assisted me in making the call. Well, after the service person came over, he determined it was not worth repair. Regency contacted and said they would send us a check so we could apply for a new washer.     My neighbor informed me that there had been a significant power outage in the neighborhood when I got home. It destroyed my refrigerator and air conditioner, leaving me trapped in a boiling house with rotting food. Unsure of what to do, I contacted the Regency Total Warranty helpline in a panic. The dispatcher took down all of my information and stated, "No worries." I received confirmation of who will be coming to fix it and when within ten minutes of the call.     This is a great service company, and my warranty has made me less worried about repairs. The contractor was helpful in many ways, and when my washing machine malfunctioned, he was on call with me to get a phone report and then called back with a good time. When he arrived, he was patient and did his job while outlining everything that was done.

    We have made 2 claims. 1 claim our stove went out. Tech said we needed a new stove because of time they would only cover $150 we never got, 2 claim our ac quit blowing cold air, with our policy they were to cover Freon but denied the claim because tech said it had a leak. They find a way not to pay. Save your money and place it in an account to pay tech yourself money ahead. Will never ever get a home warranty ever again.

    I like to give companies a second chance since we all make mistakes, but my mistake was not doing enough research on this company. Once I reached out three times for supervisor and was told they'd call but never did. I realized finding a corporate office or any owner information is next to impossible. We had a plumbing problem after business hours and was told they were unable to get a plumber for us until the next day but we had no bathroom use, so the CS rep with Regency stated that if we could find a plumber we could submit the invoice to them but when we sent Roto Rooters invoice they rejected it. They said we should've gotten approval first and I told them we did and to listen to the call log (as I'm sure they record them) but to no reveal. So disappointed with them and now hoping BBB or court can assist us.

    I’ve been with Regency for about two months now and filed one claim for a plumbing issue. Something was clogged in between the pipes to the outside.     We called them for an issue with our fridge. They sent a tech out who diagnosed that could not be fixed. Our fridge was dripping and leaking onto the wood floor so we didn’t want to wait very long. We waited until we got the official email from them that the claim had been not closed, but moved on. The next morning we got a call from them and the rep Alex told us that a replacement has been approved and we were allowed to get a new fridge. We got a replacement payment check from them after 40 days.

    The rep I spoke with was very clear and I understood everything he was talking about. I was told to wait for a call from the plumber for a garbage disposal claim. It took a day to get the plumbing contractor and when he arrived he told us the garbage disposal was jammed. He tried to unjam it but no use so he replaced it with the same model. I am pleased with them and love having a warranty company who are just a phone call away.

    I signed up with Regency Total Warranty because I was concerned about having to replace my central air conditioner in the middle of summer. My old air conditioning unit died this week, so I phoned my house warranty. They called upon a service expert, who found a leak in a coil. The part was not in stock and getting one would take ten days. Regency Total Warranty opted to accept the repair with a 10-day wait. They did not do what their advertisements suggested, they chose the cheapest option. Just be aware that if you call them about A/C difficulties, Regency Total Warranty will go into defense mode and screw you to the wall. I would also like to inform you that their dispute resolution specialist kept me on hold for 30 minutes, hoping I would hang up. I didn't, and he was completely useless. Save your money, do not give it to Regency Total Warranty.

    I have used them twice since taking out my policy and both times I was told that they could not find technicians for me. The first time was my garage door and we had to wait days before they found me someone.     We feel that salesman Max ** was deceptive when selling us the Regency policy. He agreed with us that a week was way too long to wait for a refrigerator repair. Made us think Regency would be better, NOT. I tried to make a claim online, but couldn’t figure out how to make a claim so when we called, we spoke with a very glum employee and told him we were having trouble with our refrigerator and we followed his instructions. One being we would give the $85 copayment to the person who came out.. a very unprofessional. Individual showed up a week later and then put me off another night because the job he had had gone for too long.. very unprofessional and would only give me his first name when I wrote him the check for the claim payment and he didn’t even know the company that Regency claimed he was from.

    I had to follow up to get further information and come to find out. Regency was not going to pay for the repair of the refrigerator. They were only gonna pay $175. I had to follow up with the unprofessional person to get a quote and they were gonna charge us almost $700 for the repair. I wasn’t gonna have that guy back in my house anyway so it didn’t really matter.. (from my research I could tell he was charging us $300 for a $27.99 part).

    At this point we canceled our policy and my husband talked to a Mr. K who told us two weeks ago. He was gonna send us $490 refunding our policy along with possibly the $175 that was already approved for the refrigerator repair. We hadn’t received no word so we followed up and Mr. K changed his tune and said we were only gonna get $425 as a refund because there’s a $75 cancellation fee. His arithmetic was off and we are so done with them and we tell everyone do not use them because they’re fraudulent. Another note is that with the bad service we went back to Max who sold us the service and he could not care less so he doesn’t believe in nor care about or know about what he’s selling..

    When it comes to the company's policies, it appears that there are many limitations. I am beginning to wonder what you cover particularly. I have experienced a number of plumbing problems, such as leaks. According to what I have been told, my kitchen sink's line leak is a fixture issue. There is a leak in my faucet's line.     The service contractor who came out to fix the air condition outer unit wasn’t the best. He just talked on the phone majority of the time and after few hours he told us he would be back to fix it but I did not hear from him for a few days. He never informed us about the situation. After few days we called them again and he came back and fixed it. The air condition is cooling fine now.

    I’ve had Regency Total Home Warranty for just a few months and have already filed two claims — one for my clothes dryer and another for the ice maker in my refrigerator. In both cases, the only response I received was an email saying technicians are “backed up” and that I should find my own technician. Why am I paying for a home warranty if I’m expected to do all the work myself?

    Their technician network is apparently useless, and there’s been zero follow-up. I had to call Sears myself, who charges $125 just to diagnose the issue — something Regency should have arranged and covered. This defeats the entire purpose of having a warranty. I bought this plan to avoid stress and unexpected costs — not to handle everything myself while still paying them. Do yourself a favor and avoid Regency. You’ll end up doing all the legwork, and they’ll take your money for nothing in return.

    As a new customer, I have no regrets about changing my home warranty provider. There was no cooling in the house when I came back home. I figured the cooling system had failed. I received a call from the cooling contractor firm a few hours later, and after receiving all essential information, they sent a technician to my home the next morning. The technician evaluated the unit and advised me that a part had to be replaced. After two days, he came with the part, and our cooling system was repaired.     May 30th: called to report an A/C issue, most likely as a result of the thermostat. 5 days later I called because I had not received an email regarding assignment to a technician. Had to leave a message and asked for a call back. NO CALL BACK. I called again to find out that my claim got an assignment to a service provider out of Mesquite TX. I live in Longview! I was also told that I had been sent an email...NO email received. I called again on June 4th after trying to sign up online: where it said I had been sent a temporary password. NO such email was sent or received! I asked for a new temp password to be emailed and now it's a day later and still nothing. NO EMAIL, NO PHONE Calls! Poorest service ever!

    The garage door motor claim took a week to fix. The technician arrived nearly two days later, and when they checked, the motor was not working, so they decided to replace it. However, they had difficulty finding the identical model motor. Several days later, they returned with a new motor and tested its compatibility. The work was performed, and the door now works again. I respect the service company's dedication. If something happened to the garage door again, I would call this technician back.

    My toilet claim was promptly addressed by the agent Max and he gave me a ticket number against my claim. After few hours later I got a call from plumbing contracting company and also got an email from Regency Total Warranty providing the plumber contact details. The plumber came next day and discovered the tank is leaking and need a replacement. Max called us to ask if we wanted a payment check for the tank or a replacement. We said yes for a replacement tank and next day the plumber changed it a new tank.

    Andrew promptly assigned a plumber to solve the drainage problem at our house. The assigned problem called me after a few minutes and told me the time when he is coming to fix the problem.     The customer support agent Victor did a great job, when we called Regency claim department for a plumber for our leaked bathroom. A plumber was assigned within an hour he reached to our house.     I filed a claim with my warranty for the air conditioner unit in our new home, that is not working properly. That process was relatively easy, and they sent us an email with a company to make an appointment with. The company is called west bros. Heating and cooling. We made an appointment today 5/19 between 10-11am.

    When the technicians still had not shown app at noon, I had to go to work, but my partner called the technician to see if they were still coming. The business owner seemed unconcerned that he missed the appointment and did not call to state that he couldn't make it. He matter of factly, asked if we still wanted him to come which we agreed for him to come between 2-230pm. He briefly looked at the air conditioner and ask us to call the warranty company to call him. He asked my girl to take pictures of the manufacturer information label on the ac unit with her phone in case Regency wanted it from her (not him the technician) but did not ask her to send them to him and he took no information on it. So as she's on the phone with the warranty company, the technician left the house without saying a word.

    The claims representative with regency informed her that they will not call the technician, but rather he needs to email an estimate of the work that needs done to be approved. The technician left before my partner was even able to pay a service call fee or give the information he needed. She then called the technician and told him that he needs to send an estimate to regency, and that she would text him the information. He responds he doesn't know everything that's wrong because he's not gonna figure it out for free. We were very willing to pay the service fee, but he just left without a word.

    Nevertheless, she sent the information to the technician via text.And then contacted the warranty company again. This time she encountered a very unpleasant agent, who she explained the situation to and asked if we can get another company, that's more professional and doesn't just leave without saying a word or doesn't show up to appointments without saying a word. He told her they were not willing to send somebody else, even though the guy said he didn't know everything that was wrong and he didn't have time to write a proposal to email regency.

    The same agent treated my partner like she was incompetent and wanted her to state exactly what she was going to say to the A.C technician in her text message, as if she didn't have the comprehension of how to send a proper text with the information he needed. Now we're forced to wait for somebody unprofessional, to maybe send a estimate to regency, but we don't really know if he's going to do it especially considering he did not fully diagnose the issues. This warranty feels like a complete ripoff and the agent's customer service was probably the worst she's ever experienced.

    I purchased a contract from Regency and was told there was a 30 day waiting period to file a repair request and on Feb 4 2025, I was charged $798.00 for 2 homes warranties to cover hot water heaters, sewer line, plumbing, swimming pool pump, filters, and all appliances. I was told there would be a 30-day waiting period to file a claim and I would receive a 2 months free on the one year contract.

    On April 28, 2025, I informed Regency of a Leak in my water line and the water was shut off by the water company until I got it Fixed, so I filed a claim! After a day, I called and Nothing was done. I ask if I should contact a plumber and they advise me to do so and have them call for a work order. After another day I called and they said no plumber to fix water line cause leaking water line was not covered. I argued the contract states a leaking water line is covered and they told me I was wrong. I told them if they are not going to abide by the contract I wanted a refund and would cancel immediately. They informed me that they would have to get a hold of the office to cancel and he said that the office would call me on Monday or Tuesday, but I never got a call?

    I called again and the person in charge said I was cancelled and that I would have to pay a prorate charge and cancellation fee and I ask for what reason when you would not abide by the contract and I have not received any services or repair from your company and he said It was costing me $500 for cancelling. I filed a complaint with Arizona and my Credit Card company.

    The washing machine failed to complete the spin cycle. We phoned Regency Total Warranty and the repairman came out and after a thorough checkup he told us that fixing it would be more expensive than buy another one because the motor and few other minor components were not working. We gave it to Regency Total Warranty. They came through a bit slowly. They asked us for a replacement machine or a payment check. We decided to get a replacement payment. We were unable to do laundry for over a week while they decided what to do. But when they did decided, they mailed the check. We got it so there's no problem.     Sunday morning our heating system stopped working, we went online and entered a repair claim, about a half hour later Regency Total Warranty rep Victor called us and shared the technician detail. In the afternoon the technician came and fixed the heating pump after few minutes. The technician who came to fix the pump was very professional and absolutely super, explained us what he was doing.     Reported plumbing leak. They claim cannot provide service technicians in the area. Pipe leaking for a week. Issue not resolved. After discussing with other customers from other warranty companies received the same negative feedback. They appear to be scams that take advantage of vulnerable customers. I would not recommend any of these companies.

    We have been dealing with them for over a month about an A/C unit.. They sent a co. who diagnosed need for compressor which made sense since our other unit had to have a new one several years ago.. However this hvac said a new unit would be cheaper.. This is untrue and told regency we just want a compressor as they were trying to put a new unit in.. Regency wanted a photo of our Rheem unit so I sent a picture and they wanted 3 yrs of history from our own hvac..

    Our guy is semi retired and in a trip then we reached out to his assistant not a word then I see on fb he is in Florida on a family vacation.. Meanwhile it's 80 degrees here..even if we waited for his return to give 3 yrs of history it will read freon only.. That's all we have done in 3 yrs plus no guarantee they will fix it.. 30 min holds on phone and you can never speak to a manager.. We have asked for a return for this bogus policy and will go to the attorney general's office to get it.. Being a Realtor I can warn others about this warranty.. It's a joke!!

    I called on a Friday afternoon for a service call and was told I would get a tech calling back in 24 to 48 hours. Here it is Wednesday afternoon, and still no phone call. I called Monday and then again yesterday, Tuesday, and was told I would get a call by the end of the day. Not good customer service, in my opinion.

    When we bought our home last year we bought the Regency home protection plan. We haven't used our warranty until last week we had to submit a claim online for washer that was giving some malfunction error. They sent out a contractor who had to replace a part in the machine.     I'm a new home owner with a real need for service and I've received bounced back emails, no call backs and no one is answering. Starting to think this is a SCAM and ready to contact the BBB and report this company. I continued to hit the number to request service and nothing happened.     UPDATE OF BEWARE by LARRY: I closed the contract out by cancellation. There's a $75 fee to be paid, as is contract stipulated. So they offer me $432 as a PRORATED AMOUNT OF $1199 (total paid for a 3 year plan). I complained about this because it violates prorationing, which follows: PRORATION DIVIDES THE UNUSED PERIOD (2 months) by the TOTAL NUMBER OF MONTHS (36 months).....2/36 = 5%.

    THEREFORE, 100% minus 5% equals 95%. The TOTAL AMOUNT PAID ($1199) TIMES 95% IS $1034, with the fee taken. Sooooo, I was told that they' give me $632 instead of the $432--IF I PULLED MY REVIEW. told them I WILL CONTINUE TO EXPLOIT MY DEALINGS WITH THEM AS A TRAINED "CHANGE AGENT!" I can not back up when I am being swindled out of my hard earned money. I AM FIGHTING FOR CONSUMER RIGHTS, and I am trying to M-otivate,

    E-ducate, U-plift, and to I-nspire others and join the "David -versus- Goliath" movement. Corporations are sheltered by government loopholes that makes it almost impossible to confront situations as is being shared with you.

    I am a VIET NAM COMBAT VETERAN (1969), who also SERVED IN THE PERSIAN GULF (1988), and OFF THE COAST OF LEBANON, BEIRUT (1984).

    I tire of hearing "THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE" while our government allows our consumer population to be harassed and manipulated by these corporate giants.

    I strongly advise to avoid ONLINE CONTRACTS THAT HARBOR ARBITRATION CLAUSES, as they literally take your rights to legal action away from you; that you avoid doing business with foreign voices that could be outsourcd and operated overseas; and try to do business with local contractors. My fellow consumers, this is a them -v- us situation.stand up for your rights to protect your money. Once there were gentlemen businessmen who had moral integrity.

    I paid my warranty for the whole year. Learned by that mistake. My 2st claim was on refrigerator and stove. Usually on other warranties if one worker comes to work on both appliances I've only had to pay 1 service fee, but here I had to pay $65 each although 1 worker. He looked at both, said he'd have to order parts. Joseph who was the warranty agent, reached out to me and told me it would cost too much to fix my stove and offered me $125 on replacement. I argued that they said they'd said replace appliance if it couldn't be fixed, that I couldn't get a used stove at that price, he told me my stove was 10 yrs old and that was replacement cost.

    They ok my refrigerator. It was not cooling. The worker told me he'd have to order part. I waited, with not being able to keep milk and other things from spoiling, for 3 months, yes 3 months. I would call the worker and he would either not answer or tell me he check and call me back. I'd call Joseph and he'd tell me he called and they were suppose to call me. Finally after 3 mo. Joseph ask me if I knew another dealership that might come work on it and he pay them over the phone with a credit card. I ask him was this the only person in columbus that they had working for them and he didn't give me an answer. Well I couldn't get anybody else but finally the guy came and fixed it. He said he wasn't sure if he'd keep working for Regency.

    Well I decided I wanted a refund, it hadn't been but a month. I called and explained why I wanted a refund, this was someone else not Joseph, he said let me talk to my supervisor, came back and said well put your check in mail. Meanwhile I went and got another home warranty and pd. 1st mo. and told them I'd pay the rest when my check got here. I waited a couple of weeks, no check. I called Joseph and he said he didn't see anything about it being cancelled but if I wanted to cancel there would be $178 penalty, plus my refrigerator repair was about $300, that would all be taken out of my $500 I'd paid for warranty. OH yes I also forgot to tell you that after the man fixed refrigerator he reached out to me and told me Joseph said I was to pay the $120 labor cost.

    I was furious, I called Joseph and he said yes I was suppose to pay it. I told him that in all the home warranties I'd had that I'd never had to pay labor. They finally told me I didn't have to pay it. I had to stay with them since they would take all my refund. So with dread, I call mon. apr. 21 and told them I needed work on my washing machine and my air conditioner that was not coming on at times. Well they said a dealer would call and set up appt. It's now fri. apr. 25 and haven't heard from any dealer.

    I call and talk to this woman and she said they were trying to get someone here, that she's send in claim and put expedient on it. I ask to speak to Joseph and after long wait I was informed he's off today. The clerk ask me if I wanted to pick out a dealer and get him to come fix it. I told her no way, that I couldn't afford to pay them out of my pocket and wait and hopefully get all my money refunded. So I'm stuck with Regency Warranty who I don't think has any dealership set up here in columbus with them to come out and repair my appliances.

    On Saturday morning, we found that our refrigerator was not cooling properly and the food was rotting and giving bad smell. We got panic and called Regency Total Warranty complaints department.     Thank you for having a plumber call me two days after my initial call for service on my leaking garbage disposal. Aaron was friendly & professional, he explained he was not affiliated with my home warranty, but he would help me, he checked out the disposal, ran it with water and told me it was leaking and I would need to replace it. I explained how my warranty worked. We called your #, no one answered. I asked Aaron to leave it right now with the bucket under it, I would send an email and ask what to do since I cannot cover the part and the labor.     I filed a claim a week ago with no contact from this company or a technician. I finally received a confirmation email after calling four times. Issue remains unresolved. My contract had the wrong email address to submit a claim; when I called the company, the recording said they aren’t taking calls. Another call had a rep who transferred me to a private citizen, not a Regency representative. My contract states claims will be addressed within two days. This is wholly untrue.

    I shopped around to find the best fit for a home warranty plan. The Regency Home Warranty understood when I explained I just started looking for a home warranty. I searched and found positive reviews on Regency Home Warranty services. With other agents at other home warranties I contacted, I was pressured to make a decision before hanging up, of which I felt put off by and ultimately firmly declined.

    Several weeks later I received one email from a Regency Agent inquiring if I wanted to talk with an agent. I agreed and believe Regency offered the best plan for me.     This is the worst company ever! If you want to save yourself headaches please do not even bother to buy any policy with them. Since the beginning they don’t send you the policy so you can read it to be aware of coverage. Once you place a claim they denied you saying it’s on your policy. I’m like, "What policy? I never received anything." I bought it because the selling guy said it covers absolutely everything and here we are are. All lies.. Be aware of their main trick!

    Folks...BEWARE!!! Based upon the many reviews I read that gave Regency Home Warranty very high regads, I paid $1,199.99 for a 3-year plan. Alex ** was very responsive at this point $$$. Today is 4-14-25, and I have a service pending since 2-26-25!! A service provider was assigned on 2-26-25. The provider charged me the $65.00 service, although only ONE TRIP WAS MADE TO MY HOME??? $$$ I was told that Regency charges the service amount for each appliance v for the trip. THIS IS NOT STATED IN THE CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT, and is a first time in my years of having various home warranty plans.

    I have emailed Alex ** numerous times. Today, he placed me on hold and the line hung up. I called back and a foreign voice told me that Mr. ** had just left for the day (1112, Central Time), and would call me the next day. As Joe Biden would declare, "MARLARKY!"....I am a dialysis patient and need my oven to prepare my meals 2 1/2 months is far too long to await a service request. So, I have requested the appropriate prorated refund of my money so I can pocket my own expenses of getting the appliance(s) needed. I am 77 years of age AND I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING ALL MY DAMN LIFE!! I do not intend to sign another contract as much as I can because ONCE CONSUMERS SIGN, WE ARE ON THE TAKE!!!! Damn shame.
