We could detect the chlorine in the water. One of my brother's friends that were living there in the home was super sensitive and he could smell the chlorine in his urine. Besides the dry skin and just after the demonstration with RainSoft, we knew that we were right and there was a lot of chemicals in the water out there in Tennessee. Everyone from RainSoft was amazing. Everything was handled professionally. They were on time and they were kind. They answered all my questions and they were there for me via email, text, and phone.
I had the entire house filtration system put in. So, I had the laundry hook up. I also had the drinking water tap installed at my kitchen faucet. Then I have the big unit down the basement that does the whole house. The drinking water is phenomenal and the clothes are a little bit cleaner. Also, I have a really thick head of hair and it tends to be very frizzy and it gets very soft when I'm in Tennessee using that water. I’ve got friends and family that are looking to buy in Tennessee. I've told them that they have to have the water. It’s very good water.

I got water conditioning for my whole house from RainSoft. Since the installation, there has been a difference in the texture and taste of the water from my kitchen sink and my refrigerator. I had been buying bottled water to make my coffee, and I'm not doing that anymore. I received the brochures when I did the purchase, but the one thing that I find very difficult is keeping up with the communications with the company, being able to find the phone numbers and looking them up.

The rep was good. I bought the top-of-the-line system that they currently have out this year and the installation was fine. The system works. I've got softer water now.

Greetings, well, hoping to save you money and headaches. I purchased the Rainsoft System 5 years and 2 months ago. Previously I had a Kinnetico system and had no problems. Should have stuck with them. Anyways, I was foolish and got a Rainsoft. Upfront price was too expensive, again, my bad for getting it. (Kick myself Daily). They don't tell you how expensive it is to own. Besides every year service which cost hundreds this system in 4 years needed Carbon and Resin already which research says it should last eight years.
I had the City Lab test my water and they are only using .37 mg/L of Chlorine which is minimal at best. There is no real reason the system should require this carbon/Resin change this soon. They want over $450.00 to change this out??? If seeing that I have their R.O system under my sink those filters are ruined with black water I am getting they want $200 dollars to replace them! Starting to get my point. Check other alternatives before you end up like me. God Bless.

Did a water study thru Home Depot. RainSoft salesman came to home to test water and demonstrate system with portable filter. His filter worked great and we purchased system. System is not as advertised, do not buy. $9000.00 wasted dollars. Should have got a Culligan or Pelican with no salt tank... Have to regenerate every 2 days. Tech set it up for 1 month regeneration and after 3 to 4 days water smells like rotten eggs and dirty earth. Only 2 people in home and regeneration every 2 days increased water bill by $45 every month. Regeneration uses about 25 gallons and the salt in regeneration phase is killing my grass. Installer put pvc pipe in ground for regeneration water to go down. During regeneration water shoots straight up out of pipe killing grass. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Salt in system also causes faucets, sinks and drains to corrode. Salt dries skin out very bad....
We appreciate your feedback and have been in contact with the RainSoft dealer in your area. We understand they have scheduled an appointment to meet with you on 2/20/21 to address this matter.

I like the water system and it helped remove chlorine smell from the water. I am very thankful for the system and the people who install the product. The sales person and the installation guy were super nice. However, I do not like ethics of the service representative who calls, schedules, and charge for the yearly service. She recently sent me a bill saying I did not pay for the service I received over a year ago in October of 2019. Instead of doing a research on her end beforehand, she sent me a bill just recently stating I needed to pay $125 which I have already paid October of 2019 (Over a year ago!!).
I think this is utterly unacceptable and very rude. I am shocked beyond belief. I do not wish to have anything to do with the services of Rainsoft at this point. I just do not trust their ethics or their business practices. I would like to get this information out here just in case someone else receives a bill over a year after the service has been performed claiming they have never received a payment even when they have received it. I hope this is going to be posted.
We discussed this matter with our distributor in Kennesaw who explained that during that time frame they ran into problems where the way the credit card charges were being entered into their system, the majority of them were not processed properly. Unfortunately they didn’t discover this problem until months later. The dealer then had to go back and contact their customers who had been serviced to determine if the charge actually went through. A cumbersome project and, we understand, a major inconvenience for their customers. Our dealer has addressed this issue with your account and apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused.

Paid over $2,000 to have a EC-5 water softener system installed. Valve constantly leaking. Local installer charges $100 each trip to replace an O-ring. The system is junk. Should have went with a better reliable brand.

I purchased RainSoft softener water system, peroxide system, and reverse osmosis system. July 2019, through Home Depot. Anderson installed my systems. 1st problem I have is my TDS numbers are still very high (TDS numbers at reverse osmosis is 198 and 756 and sink.). Anderson came to my house many times from July to November. The last person they sent out. Told me that home depot should have never sold me the system, because my TDS numbers are too high and they should have told me to get a new well. 2nd problem I had is all the owners at Anderson are very rude. They are so rude, that 1 of the owners that went to court, almost got kicked out of court.
3rd problem is my water softener system and reverse osmosis don't work and I've contacted rainsoft many times about it. I told them they need to send someone other than Anderson out to fix it. They keep refusing. So, I have a 8,000 dollar system that doesn't work anymore. It's garbage. I still haven't paid for the system and I'm not going to. As of right now. I want them to come and take the system back. It takes up a huge part of my basement and makes no sense to keep something that doesn't work. Worst company and product I've dealt with, when it come to my home.
Hi Kimberly. We are currently looking into this matter with Anderson Water. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for your less than favorable experience with RainSoft.

Our RainSoft water softener was serviced in July 2019 and in August 2019 had a failure of the entire system. The resin in the tank backed up into every water line in our home. Thousands of dollars of damage and neither the distributor nor Rain Soft took responsibility for the resin failure. The distributor would never reply to any of our calls. The only email we ever received was one telling us that they were not responsible. I attempted to contact Rain Soft corporate to let them know that the distributor was unresponsive and they only said they would "look into it" and encouraged me to keep trying. I never heard anything back from either the distributor nor Rain Soft corporate.
We are currently looking into this matter with our customer and with the servicing dealer.

Rainsoft of Chattanooga, Southern Energy Water & Air LLC, charges $225.00 for a service call! I was told that the under the sink filter should be changed once a year. That's over $300.00!!!! That is ridiculous.
We spoke with our dealer in Chattanooga and, based on their service rates, it doesn't match with Ms. Karen's quote, above. The dealership spoke with Ms. Karen yesterday morning and it was decided rather than a service call the dealer would send the filters to her house, which were sent yesterday afternoon. The dealer apologizes for any miscommunication and will follow up with the Ms. Karen.

Had a flyer at Bj’s Wholesale and someone came to test the water. We were convinced that the water softener will satisfied our needs. We had a hard water and we must treat our water. We had to use the financing program at the 9.9% a year. Not too bad, considering that we really need better quality water. They installed the system right away and they took a picture of me next to the system. Salesperson never came back to test the water after installation. The financing company charge us almost USD 2,00 a day and if we pay on weekends or holidays, payments won’t go through and we charge by the day. We put 50% more that the agreed amount in the contract but we don’t see the decrease on the price of the system.
Contact them, they say nothing we can do. After all the system will cost us USD 16.200 Really? Do yourself a favor and look someone else. Besides, you need $35 to fill up the softener and they charge $150 annually for maintenance. Too late to regret. Had to put &230 monthly for the next 3 years to finish paying this crap. Lessons cost money but we are paying a very expensive lesson.
Hi Denis. We appreciate your feedback and have asked our dealer to address these items with you and to retest your water.

I'm writing this review just so people have some sort of a warning before they get the salesperson in their house and ultimately sign the dotted line since believe me, once they're in they will hard sell! First of all, the people working for this company, are all nice people. The guy who sold it to us was nice all the way to the installer and support afterwards. It’s just that the system is way too expensive at $6, 490! It's a nice system to have but not essential! Wait until your AC breaks and you will see what is really important especially in Texas!
On the presentation they will do a calculation where they will say this is how much you're shelling out for bottled water, shampoo, soap, cleaning supplies! It will make sense! But realize, at least for us that it won’t take long before you go back to your brand of soap and shampoo, laundry soaps and cleaning supplies! That is being given away for free for a reason! The water system will need maintenance too, that will not be part of their calculation of course when they will point out your savings but the system will require salt, filters and my god they sell their filters at a premium! Also the lifetime warranty? A lot of fine prints! If you need checking, it will cost $99 to get their guy out, so what is the lifetime warranty for??? Like I said, they are good people just doing business but man, I really hope I really read all reviews before I signed up!
Good afternoon Marvic,
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on our service and the water system you purchased from Quality Water Systems, located in Houston. It truly is a great feeling to know that the personnel in our establishment are living up to our expectations of an excellent customer experience. We will not settle for anything less than best when it comes to customer service. I understand that you feel our system is too expensive; however, please understand that included in that price is the level of honesty, workmanship, and compassion that our company has for the water treatment industry. What I mean by this is, we could save both ourselves and our clients’ money by hiring an unvetted labor force, but we have found that most of our clients prefer the peace of mind that follows this investment opposed to uncertainty that often accompanies a cheaper upfront cost. Water treatment is one area where “you get what you pay for” truly applies.
I’m glad you got the full value of our water test and understand that by using the soaps we provide your investment pays for itself and with a 100% satisfaction guarantee on those products, its truly unfortunate that you decided against using them. As far as maintenance is concerned, our pricing is much lower than our competitors and I do not believe any of them provide a 90-day service guarantee after their technicians come out. Most companies charge per call and they charge it every time they come out. The warranty covers the extremely expensive portion of the system, which is the parts.
Again, I want to say thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We agree that EVERY potential customer should take the time to read reviews on our company, we have proudly earned a total of over 11,000 – 5-star reviews across the internet and we work VERY hard to uphold that reputation.

We have been a customer of Rain Soft since 2002. We constantly receive annoying marketing calls on average of at least once a week to service our system. So we Finally do schedule a service appointment for most likely to change the seals only to have to wait almost 2 weeks for a tech to come out. OK that’s fine however, they called us in the morning on the scheduled Friday, I have to take the day off of work and then the tech advised he would be out between 5 and 7 PM. I said OK however because it’s in the evening and it is on a Friday. I don’t want to be stuck with a delay and then having to reschedule.
Well sure enough, at 3:30 in the afternoon the tech, Duane calls to tell me that he just received an install mandate and he had to turn in our paperwork and someone MAY call us on Saturday to reschedule. Really??? So they triaged me because they could get more money for the install even though we originally paid $5000 for the system. So I called the office and asked for a manager only to get transferred four times! At one point I spoke to a person named Rory who would not even listen to me slaps me on hold and transferred me over to somebody “of authority.”
I eventually got to a person named Sharon and was advised that in no way would anybody be able to come out today even though we were scheduled for it and that she’ll have a manager call me on Monday. You know how that’s going to go. So I asked her to call him now and she refused. She was very arrogant and again spoke over me constantly and never offered a timely re-schedule or any type of service recovery. Seems to be a theme with Rain Soft. At this point I asked that my service call be comped by the Rain Soft. Sharon advised only a manager could do that - even though I originally asked for one and once again she refused to call the manager.
I finally said, “If this is how you treat an 18 year customer we’re done.” I have been in the customer service business for many years and I am stunned by the lack of customer service from Rain Soft. Now because our system was installed in 2002 we know that we’re heading for replacing it with a new system. I can assure you it won’t be Rain Soft installing our new system. I will not deal with a company that conducts themselves with such terrible customer service skills and nor should you.
We apologize for the difficulties you have experienced with our RainSoft dealer in Florida and the inconvenience they have caused. We have been in touch with them and they are willing to assist you with the service and the fees at this time. Kind Regards.

RainSoft reached out to me and offered to cover the expenses to get our system up and running. We took them up on the offer and were able to get our system going in just a few days. After dealing with them directly, I can say more of my issues are with our local company than with RainSoft itself. I am still giving just a 4 Star bc of the price of the system.

We bought our system in Mar 2019 bc of a Home Depot Water test. They scared me to death over my water bc we have a son with autism and they were saying all the things in my water were affecting him. We bought the system and a couple months later, my son was experiencing more challenges than before and some medical things came up for him. We were strapped thin (My husband works for 911, doesn’t make a lot), and called to try to return the system so we could cover my son’s needs and have room to breathe financially. I was told that’s not a thing they do, but they’d let me know if someone wanted to buy a used system. I NEVER heard back from them.
We got a call in Mar 2020 for service for the system. When we called back to set up an appt, the tech never returned the call. I called the main office several times with NO response. It took months to get in touch. When I finally did get someone on the line, she blamed ME for why her tech didn’t call us back or why she “didn’t get” my messages! Then she quotes us DOUBLE the service cost than what the tech quoted us. I told her we couldn’t afford it right now and would schedule later. Then the system messes up. No clue what going on except it was POURING water. Our water bill was ridiculous. We had to shut the whole thing off to get it to stop. So now we are paying for a system that we aren’t even using. I have a broken down car that I cannot afford to fix but I dare not stop paying on this system or I know it’ll ruin us. I just want to get rid of this system! It didn’t even help my son like I was told it would!

I seem to be the minority when it comes to their experience with this company. We enjoyed the presentation we received from the salesman (Dusty **) and ended up purchasing the product. I feel we were deceived by the entire process. There was no explanation given about financing - just a “sign here and someone will call you” situation. I want to KNOW what I’m signing and as I was reading the paper and seeing the 11.9% Interest that we have to pay every month for our payment, I feel I was deceived because our salesman (Dusty **) never explained this to us. We asked if we could purchase the system outright and he said no.
That seems very shady, but we wanted to go forward so we signed the paperwork. About a week later a girl from the financing company called me and I asked her to explain the 11.9% payment versus paying for the machine outright. I calculated the monthly payment ($135) and it would take 5 1/2 years to pay for the cost of the machine ($8995). $16 of that payment goes towards interest which means we are paying approximately $1000 more than we would if we could purchase it outright. Which they said we can’t do.
Then the day that the softener was installed the installation team put a hole in our ceiling and was very apologetic but it’s been over two weeks and no one has contacted us, even though they said they would, to come and repair it. We are very disappointed by this. We still have not received the air purifier that we were promised as well.
I called Envirotech to discuss the status of our order and why we have not received any product we were promised and why the installer has not come to fix our ceiling, and I spoke to someone who said that someone else at the company will have to call me back. I’m still waiting for that call. Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with the entire experience. I have yet to see much of an improvement as well in the quality of our water and we have had the system installed for over two weeks now. I feel I was misled and I will be reaching out to the company to receive an explanation. Hopefully I can get ahold of someone. We will see.
We apologize for the poor experience you have had with your local RainSoft dealer. We have contacted them to further discuss these matters and confirm that an appointment has been scheduled to meet with you. We will follow-up with them again after they have met with you on 8/22. Kind Regards.

I bought this system 3 years ago and the Florida contractor never could get the smell out of my water. I was also still seeing rings in the toilet even with 4 types of resin and water softening. The annual maintenance for $150+ was nothing more than cleaning a few gaskets and pronouncing the system was working properly (and none of their techs could smell the sulfur in the water).
Three years was enough. I called a local company who installed a (much cheaper) system that resolved all of our water issues right away. No smell and tastes great. I highly recommend avoiding the overpriced Rainsoft equipment and poorly qualified techs. Get a different system and save yourself some $$ and headaches.

So we purchased this Rainsoft Water softener for our new home in January of 2019. All was fine until March 28th 2020, a year and 2 months after purchase. A pipe springs a leak... Of course was the weekend so we were charged everything possible, emergency and weekend fees. OK so pipes break right? Well now July 30th, 2020 same thing AGAIN. Same pipe, same leak. We have videos of both. We call to have it fixed and of course that last leak repair was only covered for 30 days, lol. This has to be a joke. So now they want the same horrendous fee AGAIN for the same problem. Only this time they don't have an appointment until August 8th!!
Today is July 30th. So the guy on phone tells us how to use the bypass so we still have water in the house. We did what he said while he was on the phone, so he says it will stop after about 20 minutes. Well, boys and girls, it's still POURING out the same as before. So I'm guessing they think we will live without water for the next 9 days because obviously we have to shut it all off or the house may float away. Yes, they put the machine right up against the house so the entire leak is heading for the house foundation. This company is full of scams, do not use them EVER. They make it sound so wonderful when they are trying to sell to you. Lifetime warranty, lol, on what? The last repair was close to $200, they also charge by the half-hour after their initial fee and the glue has to dry! So as of now they think we will be supporting them with around $200 every 4 months. Buyer beware.
Hi Cindy, we apologize for the difficulties you have experienced with your local dealer. We understand service was sent on July 31st and the system was re plumbed. We trust this has resolved the problem. Please contact us directly if we can be of any further assistance. Best Regards.

Original Review: July 6, 2020
Do not be deceived by this scam. We thought we could trust Home Depot back in 2015 when they offered us a free water test after we bought our first home. Lo and behold it was a LENGTHY sales pitch using pseudo-science that played upon the vulnerable situation we were in at the time (one of us was having frightening chronic health problems that were getting worse by the day.) We were not allowed to have time to think about our decision and were told our water was bad based on a pseudo-scientific magic trick. Could we get back to them tomorrow? No the decision had to be made that day. To the tune of $7,000. Oh but they were throwing in so many freebies for us! Come to find out this system is only worth a few thousand dollars.
Fast forward five years and we have to pay HUNDREDS per year to maintain this system. Additionally, all along the customer service of the distributor, Atlantic Water Products (AWP,) has been atrocious. Very unprofessional. We have to call 3 and 4 times to get a call back. We are clearly low priority now that we've bought the system.
We moved recently, to a home that is a 2 minute drive from our previous home. Our first appointment to have the water system removed was canceled only hours beforehand. So we had to leave the system and then arrange with the new residents to have it removed by AWP a month later (which was the soonest we could get.)
AWP does not allow same day removal and installation. You have to call them again once the system is removed to schedule installation. BUT they don't call you back until you've called 3-4 times. So we weren't able to get a re-installation scheduled for another month. When we finally got them on the phone they told us that since our system had been sitting for over 24 hours we now were advised to pay an additional $700 for new filters... keep in mind removal was $300 and installation will be ANOTHER $300. So we have to pay $1,300 to move this system, $700 of which we have to pay only because they don't allow same day installation!!
The unprofessional way the company is run as well as the scammy way the sale went down has really made me question whether this product is even legitimate. A few years back I grilled one of the customer service people repeatedly to find out whether the system filters our lead. All I ever eventually got was a one sentence email saying "yes it filters out lead." No NSF certification, no "this is how it works" etc. Last year when the technician was installing replacement parts I saw that one of the under-sink cartridges had a new label with just SO many pseudo-scientific claims on it- It said it prevents cancer!?
The only thing I will say is that the technicians have always seemed professional. But no one told us when we moved our system that it couldn't sit for longer than 24 hours. No one told us about the risk of bacteria. When we called to complain Gus **, who runs the service department at AWP told us HE was disappointed with US! For not wanting to be scammed I guess? Please be aware that multiple lawsuits against Rainsoft and Home Depot for this scam have been filed and won. Please be aware there are other products that do the same thing and are cheaper. And don't be naive like we were when we were scared for our health and desperate- if someone tells you you can't take a day or two to think about whether to buy something you have to stop and ask yourself what they are afraid you will discover in 24-48 hours of research.

We are a military family and loved the idea of a water treatment for our house. We were told by the salesman we could move and take the system with us. Our biggest concern was being able to move and we asked specifically if we would have any trouble moving. When we sold our house we paid $200 to have the system disconnected to move to our new home. Then we found out they put a lien on our house days before closing unless we paid the entire amount. We’ve had to scramble to come up with the money and pay off the entire system cost. All of this was after we were specifically told this wouldn’t happen. We went years with no lien on the house and they put it on when we had the system disconnected to move. I will never do business with this company again.
We discussed this matter with our dealer who said they never file for liens. Our dealer explained to us that most finance institutions put liens on every account that is funded at the conception of a loan. It is not uncommon for finance institutions to do this so they will be notified when a home is being sold. Our dealer reiterated they had no knowledge of the lien and apologize for any misunderstanding.

Updated on 06/24/2020: When service arrived he did not have the right tank. He emptied my tank and refilled it using resin from another tank. I noticed the new material did not have the black “Acti-Char”, but brown gravel instead. My original brochure states “A sub-bed of specially graded and treated ACTI-CHAR clarifies, polishes, and helps to remove taste and odors from your water. There is nothing else like it! Two units in one, at no extra cost!” So I am thinking somebody is cutting corners.
Not only that, but when we emptied my tank, the black material was all at the bottom of the tank (like the brochure picture). When the tank was refilled, the resin and gravel were all mixed together. After the unit was put back in place, he ran a test cycle. When we ran water from various taps there were resin beads. Not the white ones from my old tank, but tan color from the new tank. I ran a full cycle last night and this morning there are resin beads still coming out. The problem is with the valve, not the tank.
Original Review: Bought this system in '93 with a lifetime warranty. Over the years we have paid over $600 in service calls. On the last visit the service man recommended I buy a new system. I asked about the lifetime warranty and he said that I had gotten a lifetime of use from this system and they could not get parts anymore. Today the resin tank failed again, clogging up faucets and the washer with the little white beads. So here comes another $98 service call and I don't know what the outcome will be. I can not recommend anyone buy Rainsoft.
Hi Rod, it's honestly great to hear from one of our long time customers and to see how we can best help you. There are many parts that are still covered under warranty on your system, one of which is the resin which we will promptly provide at no charge. Please understand, the electrical components are no longer covered under warranty on this particular unit, but should the computer board need replacing there are a couple of options available. System worked well but they were not upfront with us about the cost of maintenance and once you buy it you are locked in to their company if you want your warranty to be upheld (this is what I was told). Also we moved while owning the system and we followed the instructions for storing it and while being stored the tanks froze and the company refused to help us instead they wanted to charge us $3900 for 2 new tanks which is essentially the price we paid for it a couple of years ago. We ended up buying a new system from another company because no one in the company would help us.
Hi Jennifer, this is a difficult situation for a dealer to address as abnormal conditions like these are beyond their control. As stated in our warranty, it does not apply to damage caused by freezing. Nevertheless, we are certainly willing to provide assistance where we can, but unfortunately it sounds like you have already had the system replaced. If this is not the case, please let us know and we will see if there is anything we can do to assist you.

We purchased a home in June 2017, well water was so bad we went to local Home Depot to purchase a water softener unit. We were approached with a free water test. We accepted and was set up for an appointment. A representative came to our home and tested our water, he stated we had salt intrusion and would need a complete new system. At this time we discovered this was a Rainsoft representative. After much debating we decided to go with the system, they ensured us we needed whole house reverse osmosis. Cost was going to be 10,0000. We thought since we just purchased the home and we were going to retire here, and there was literally no chance of ever getting city water, we decided to go with the system. It was called a EC5 Whole House Reverse Osmosis. We purchased it on 7-31-2017.
Shortly after a man came to install a system under the sink. He slammed the items under the sink onto the floor and complained that it was not cleared out. I asked him why he was installing it under the sink when we were getting the whole house perverse osmosis. He then checked his records, called someone and left. Two men came the next day to start the process. Never did anyone say there would be a 1000 gallon tank sitting in our yard. A total of 7 pieces of equipment That is now across the back of the house. Pipes running everywhere, an electric cord with 4 plugs tie strapped to a water pipe, unprotected from the weather.
Next day after install, there was leaks in the multiple areas of pipes. They came back and repaired. No extra charges yet on this 10000 system with a lifetime warranty. Then the Steiner pump quit working. They came back and replace a rubber part in it. 165 service charge and 70 in rubber part. Is the water good? No. We still have stains in our brand new appliances that had never had water ran through them until after system was installed. And no water pressure. They then called to say we were due for maintenance. They came out checked everything and charged us 436.00. Then Steiner pump quit working again, no wonder it also is not protected from the weather. Called them and they said it would be 600.00 for new pump and another 165 service charge.
Well, they aren’t getting any more money from me. We bought a new pump and a shield for it and installed it ourself. Cost 135.00. They called again and said it was time for maintenance again. I said no thanks. Well, today the main pump for it quit working. I called and explained what was happening. I was told they were booked up for a week. I told them we had no water, he said, "Oh then it’s an emergency, it gonna cost extra for that. Plus any parts you will need." Now I’m done with your crappy service and phony lifetime warranty and will Let everyone I know about our experience with your company. So sad you do not stand behind, install correctly and service your products. And the free dish, laundry soap, windex and other useless products you provide, aren’t worth the card board boxes they came in. Beware of this company and shame on Home Depot for sending them to us.
Jana, we appreciate your review and apologize for the difficulties you have experienced with your local RainSoft dealer. We will be contacting the dealer today to address these issues.

The water technician came over after a visit at the Home Depot. He tested our water and showed us all the demonstrations, but told us we will pay 2 grand and had to open up a 7 grand credit line in order to get approved... only signed 2 pieces of paperwork and the next day he came back with a envelope full of yellow copies. I kept asking water technician what is the 7 grand, he said, "Wait 3 billing cycles, it will go down." We have been on 2 years now being back and forth to customer care to credit services... and the COMPANY keeps saying, "It's a contract, we can't do anything about it..." And credit services is telling us RainSoft can honor the bill... they won't do it. I took a survey at Home Depot and the RainSoft salesman showed up soon there after. We used Culligan for years but decided to get a whole house set up. Salesman was real pushy but we wanted the system anyways. They installed the system incorrectly and wrote down the incorrect financial information. They only came to fix it because of this. They harassed and yelled at us despite the mistakes they made. Like the product but not the customer service!!!!

We love the system. We're kinda spoiled on it. But we had had problems on and off for a couple years. It was because the system was older. We either had to pay more money to keep fixing it or upgrade the system. It was really weird when it wasn't working so we ended up upgrading. The two guys who came out did a good job.

The water we were having was really slimy. We couldn’t get the soap bubbled up in the shower. The girl at the trade show that we talked to said, “Well, we got the thing for you.” And the guy came out and gave us a good sales pitch and he put it in the next week and I’ve been happy. Ever since we had RainSoft put in I’ve had great showers. The water’s taste is great. I hardly use any salt. My wife and I had about 60 pounds of salt in the house. Before we had it changed and I’ve only put in one 20-pound bag since the last time I had to put in. It was about four months ago so we’re happy.
It’s working out really well but I had to learn the hard way that when the power goes out, it loses the time so I had to go and reset that myself. I thought it automatically holds all the information, all the programming, but it doesn’t hold the actual time of day. It was out for about five hours and I wake in the morning and it started to regenerate because the power was out for so long. But other than that I love our RainSoft.

We have some extremely hard calcium water in Tucson. Had Kinetico give their information then asked Rainsoft of Tucson for information. From the start, MATT had just the right amount of information tailored to our questions and previous information. No high pressure at all, just the facts. Several years in any sales business, you'd think it would come across as stale and rote. Not so with Matt -- he made us feel like his very first customer with his enthusiasm and ability to sift through just what we needed.
The installation was quick, efficient, neat and orderly. Informative info on how to operate the system. Product itself, oh gosh. We have rediscovered soap LATHER! Already dishes look better, no more calcium buildup around faucets and on bathroom counter tops. Price is in line with the other two similar companies and options to finance are available if desired. Nice touch to include several months worth of various household cleaners. I offer my strongest recommendation for Rainsoft!

We had Anderson Water System since around 2008 and when it had problems, the parts couldn't be replaced anymore. The salesman came and said that they were now selling RainSoft. I thought it was kinda weird that when he tested my Anderson water that it had a high number compared to the osmosis thing, which had zero. He was the one that sold us the other system and he was a good guy. When my husband was alive, we went down to North Carolina and North Carolina is built on sand and it was all soft water. I noticed that when we got down there, my eczema was gone. So I wanted soft water in the house and got the whole house system, not just the drinking water, and it cost 5,000.
We have baseboard water heat and I love the water softener because the scum doesn't build up in the pipes. Also, I like that it takes salt instead of potassium. Potassium is $30 a bag, while salt is around 5 a bag. And it's less maintenance. I don't have to pay the $45 a year warranty fee because it's under warranty forever. It sounded like a great deal. We live on one of the finger lakes and the house is gonna be my daughter's someday, so I'm trying to keep everything in good shape and the RainSoft is a great investment. The installer was a very friendly and interesting guy. And he knew what he was doing. I really love the water softener. A lot of people won't spend the money, but I can't go back to that old scumming.
I also got a separate thing just for the drinking water. It's on the sink. The guy told me to drink a big glass in the morning and at night and I'll sleep. I didn't believe him. I said that if I drink that water, I'd be up all night going to the bathroom. He said that it doesn't make you do that. And it's true. I am sleeping better. I used to be up about every hour, but now, I've been sleeping two and a half hours in a row. I'm very pleased. Moreover, my water is now the best tasting water and I'm not a water drinker.

We got a big house, which is 3,000 square feet, and the kitchen is on one and the access door is on the other end of the building. The installer had to go up under the house. We just had a crawl space. Since we've had the system installed, the water is all I drink. I use the alkaline. We bought a bunch of plastic bottles from Walmart and my wife fills them up every other day. We’ve got 12 in there and I drink 4 a day.

The demonstration was well done. He made it a little bit personal 'cause he talked about using it for his own so it was like he was not just selling a product that he's selling, but he was actually using it. I had worked in the construction field for quite some time and years ago, RainSoft used to be what went in a lot of these new construction houses that I've seen. We had the same ugly water everybody else did. But my wife is a little self-conscious once in a while. So, we hee-hawed and listened to what the lady rep had to say. She was good about it and we ended up getting the water treatment system.
The installers climbed underneath and saw that I had a draining leak and had to get it fixed. But the installation went great. It's a good choice and I like it. It's working real good and I can really tell the difference as far as our water is concerned. The RainSoft rep who came over was very knowledgeable about what to find in a place where to put their system. He was very nice about the whole explanation of how their system works and open to questions. He showed us samples of water levels in other towns like ours. With us having kids drinking water every single hour of the day, we saw the opportunity obviously to improve our water levels. He also told us about rebates and we got all the discounts.
Their crew came over to survey the location where their system was gonna be put in. It was a very easy and clean procedure. I've never had to deal with anything so simple. They also installed another piece by the sink in the kitchen. Now we get fresh water from our sink or the equipment in our basement. By the time the water gets to the refrigerator, we don't even need the filter there. Going with RainSoft has been a wonderful experience.

We were very happy with the installer. The system appears to work as advertised. However, after a few months of operation We noticed that scale continues to build up on our kitchen faucet and that our washcloths remain stiff after they dry. I suspected the water heater had some mineral build up but I wanted to see what the follow up test revealed. The service person that performed the test commented something like "we see this frequently" and in so many words that their company can sell me more equipment to fix this problem. Not exactly what I wanted to hear after spending the premium on this system.
If there was a chance I would need to replace my water heater then they could have forewarned me so that I could have made a more informed decision, not show up three months later with ways for me to cough up more money. Again, this system works though, I could have purchased something less expensive and been able to afford to replace my water heater at the same time. Congratulations, you got me once.

And they came and I had to put it off for a few months. They called in a few months and I let them come and I was blown away. Brianna, the woman that came, was terrific. Everything about RainSoft's customer service was A1. It renewed my faith in humanity, in salesmanship, because they deliver. I just love it. I come from Boston and there is a marked difference. It’s much more relaxed. And down here, nothing’s pushed on you. You are still getting credit just for having a brain and can make a decision, but all the evidence was there right in front of me. It wasn’t jammed down your throat.
And then ever since, I’ve just been so pleasantly surprised at the water quality. The dishes looked clean. Finally, I feel clean. It’s unbelievable. People should know how bad what they are drinking is. I never feel this way about many things we’re having, but it’s basic - water is your life. The technicians who came were great. They took the time to tell us about the water and the treatment. We were told about the products that they offered. Because when we use water, the chemicals that are in the detergents are not really made for water in a spring. They're made to be broken down in hard water and not clean water. Our coffee pot was clogging up before but it appears not to be affecting it now. Then my wife was cleaning the toilet bowls a couple of times a week because it would have a big ring on it. But the ring's gone. She also told me that her hair feels softer now. I have one concern though. Our city had a water line break and I didn't know if I got hit somehow with that. Then my water bill went up three times what I normally pay and I wasn't happy with that. Also, my system is a little bit overpriced talking to other people that have installed units. But the life of it and how trouble-free it is is gonna make the difference. If I don't have any trouble with it and don't have to replace it and it lasts years, then I should be okay.

I had a RainSoft in my old house for 20 years. The first RainSoft we got was when my wife and I were young. We found out how hard the well water was. She bought a pair of pantyhose every other month and I cut the leg up filled it with powdered lime and put that in the water. That was what we did for two years until we saved enough to get the first RainSoft.
I moved next door and I knew all the water there was hard. So, the first thing I did is to order the water treatment after I replaced faucets, sinks, toilets and stuff like that. RainSoft's customer service is absolutely super. There is no messing around. The guy came in and started telling me about the system. He didn't know that I already knew about them so I told him to save it for somebody new and just do it. The guys that came to install introduced themselves and told me what they were doing. I showed them where to go and he went over it with me. I told him that he didn't have to do that 'cause I knew it already. So he just thanked me and gotten his frock and left. It wasn't any rush, but it wasn't any waste of time either.
The RainSoft system helps a lot in taking the odor out of the water. The water without the RainSoft system ruined five sinks, two toilets, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a washer machine. That was all the stuff I had to replace because of the water. When opening the washer and dryer, there was a little bowl of rust. That was taken care of with the RainSoft system, but I still had a lot of appliances and a lot of plumbing.

The test was interesting. Yes we're pitched with a sale, various options but we were very interested and if you decide to sign up then, you save $2500. We did and chose the above mentioned items for our package. You fill out the paperwork to see if you're able to get financing and you'll be contacted in a few days. I contacted the rep Weds as we'd not heard and she'd just not gotten to us but we were approved.
We scheduled for the following Sat for install. The installer showed up right on time and was very and knowledgeable. He explained what his plan was and we left him to it. He was done in about 2 hours, explained how everything worked very thoroughly, gave his personal cell if any issues etc. He also left 3 bags of salt for us. This is where my lack of 5 stars comes. While signing HIS paperwork, we realize that the "financing papers" we signed with the rep were in fact the contract. In conversation something was said that made us question things. We definitely felt it was very shady. She does NOT tell you that you are signing the actual contract for the system. YOU ARE!!
The reason this matters a ton is because you only have 3 days to cancel from the date you sign that paper!! By the time we realized this, it had been a week. You're stuck. Thankfully we really wanted the system so for us, it didn't matter other than again, it seemed very shady. I made sure I let her know I wasn't happy and it was made to sound like I misunderstood. No I didn't. My fiance and I both are 100% it was NEVER said that it was THE contract. It took about 24 hrs for us to use the old water in the hwh and the new water to start coming through but once it did...OH BOY!! It's like night and day. I call it my silk water. I LOVE it!!
Everything is better. Our skin, our small appliances, the taste..everything! I have noticed with the air purifier that my sneezing is significantly less and I have horrible allergies and A LOT of animals. The CleanStart is super cool and makes everything smell like citrus no matter what laundry products you use. I am just finishing what i have and you need VERY little. With our package we get 5 years of cleaning products. I ordered them Sat and they're expected on Weds. (Today is Monday) So very quick. I cannot review the products yet but they're basically free so...
Our financing allows for 6 months no payments and no down payment. Rainsoft gives 3 months free then we are to receive a check to pay for the following 3 months. I was very worried this is where we'd get screwed. Nope. The check came today! It's very early but it's here so very happy about that! I know the reviews vary greatly for Rainsoft and we've only had it for a full week but other than the lack of contract transparency, so far we are absolutely thrilled with everything!! Just know about that contract before you sign but also remember how much you save if you do sign while the rep is in house. We've heard some pretty bad stuff about the customer service but we've not had to use it yet so time will tell and I will update should things change. So far we are really happy with ALL of it!!

The people that have lived in my house before had left the old system and I’ve been looking to replace it. RainSoft came right ahead when I was trying to put one. Everybody seemed knowledgeable about what they were talking about and what they were selling. We had no confusion of what I was buying out of what was their whole system and how the sale works. The installation was pretty easy. The guy came and did it in a couple of hours. The water quality in my house has definitely improved and I feel a little safer. The system essentially eliminates most of the chemicals that they put into the water since I have city water. Everything changed. Before, you could definitely feel the chlorine and all the tap water around the house. I also had water from my fridge, and I would not drink it at all. Now, I do because it definitely doesn't have that nasty taste.

The water in the City of Palm Bay has a lot of chemicals in it. It's pretty nasty. RainSoft put the system in the next day. It works great. The water tastes better and I don't get spots on my car like I did. Also, the fish aren't dying. We have an aquarium. We put in water and let it sit for a few days with some chlorine deactivating material. We put the gold fish in just to see how it worked because it was a new filtration system. Within a couple of hours after we put it in, the stuff started reacting with what the gold fish were putting out and it got so cloudy you couldn't see through it. Now, we have a nice clean tank. The other thing I like is we have a new toilet and we were getting calcium build-up on it really bad, but that stopped. RainSoft did a fine job.

The lady that came out afterwards to do the financing paperwork, and the person that was here to do the water test were great. The system was definitely worth the money, especially with the soap, cleaners and all that stuff with it as well.

I’m involved with some of the sports programs where RainSoft does sponsorships and I’m also familiar with a couple of people that work there through those, which was probably the main reason I called them. I had a unit put in probably 2007, so that would be about 12 years ago. It was an iron filter and a water softener, and the iron filter had failed about a year ago. So, I called the company that put it in. They were saying the iron in my water had changed such that I didn’t have iron anymore and that I didn’t need the iron filter. Also, that I was fine with the test that they ran. But the feel and the smell of the water were drastically different, so the iron filter was doing something in those regards.
I know people from other water places, so I reached out to them and they told me the same thing. I wasn’t satisfied with the answer so I called RainSoft, and they came out and the answers they gave me in two minutes made sense. They definitely knew what they were talking about because it turned out that my suspicion was right. The iron filter was doing something to help with the smell of the water and my arsenic level. When they came out, not only did they answer my question but they gave me three different options. They gave me the different solutions and explained the pros and cons of all those different solutions and the price, which was important. I was on the phone with these other guys for weeks and Danny from RainSoft came out and answered all my questions. I was blown away. I was so impressed with him in explaining the pros and cons so I went with the most expensive option.
I have an iron filter and an Eco Oxytech EC4. One knocks out the iron and the other one knocks out what causes the smell in your water. I had a green-sand filter knocked down the iron, so I noticed that the arsenic level had gone up a little bit. We have the unit and the reverse osmosis system, and with the results that I experienced immediately, the smell went away. Whatever iron I have will get knocked out completely before it even hits the water softener. So, the iron level was drastically less. I’m very happy and I wish I had not dillydallied with the other two places. I should’ve just called RainSoft. I wanted to do my research and get the answers, and I didn’t wanna feel obligated to use RainSoft so, I went to them as a last resort, which was silly on my part. I should’ve just went with them right off the get-go.

Although there was one little blip, it was very easily taken care of. When he gave his promotion, he told us that we wouldn’t need the dishwasher's jet dry anymore. But it didn’t work and the dishes were still wet in the morning. We had to go back to the jet dryer, which worked and dried the dishes. Otherwise, everything else has been going all right with the water softener.
The installer was a very good guy. And the installation went very smoothly. The follow-up guy came and said to we give him a call if there were any problems. I had a consultation with the gentleman that came afterwards to check the system out and he said he was gonna talk with his boss because some of the things he was telling me that would happen after we got the system was bogus. Other than that, we like the water conditioner we purchased. Now, the water is not as hard and it's basically healthier. My wife and I noticed that if we would take a shower, our hair is softer. I was approached in Home Depot by a lady in a HD apron asking if I'd take a Customer Survey. Turns out that she works for a Rainsoft dealer, WCW & Air, and says that they can come out and test your water & you'll receive a gift card, it's over a $100 value, she says. So they call and setup an appointment for a 45 minute water test. There is no actual test. It is only a sales pitch for their $8000+ water softener. In a real water test, they should actually identify what is in your water. He could not tell me anything that was in my water, only what his script says.
The 45 minute time frame? What a joke!! After 2 hours, and both husband & wife must be there, I cut him off and told him we needed to wrap this up now. The gift card that was over $100 value? Nope, more deception. It ended up being a voucher to mail in for a $20 gift card. When I spoke with the VP at WCW & Air, the Rainsoft dealer, he said that the $99 value is because that is what the water test is valued at & that they don't charge for that!! How generous, to not charge for their non-test and not charge for the sales pitch for their ridiculously overpriced water softener. It was about 3X the price of similar systems.
The price he gave us was around $8000. Of course, like any good deceptive marketing, there were deals & discounts that are only available that day. That's always a sign of a great company who believes that their product is an excellent value. You get the feeling that you must sign today, we can't let you get away & actually compare our product in the market. I can't recommend enough to stay away from Rainsoft. I had solids in my water. It was something that stains porcelains in my bathrooms and my sink. I had a system already but it was very old and I couldn’t rely on it anymore. So, I wanted to upgrade to a new system. I went online and found Carolina Freshwater, the company that installed RainSoft's product. And that one looked like something that was an upgrade from what I had, so that’s what I did.
A salesperson came out from the company and talked to me for three and a half hours, and I couldn’t run him off. He also did the water testing but he was more sales than he was anything. At the time, I already decided to buy the thing, then I just had to go through the program. I got both the water conditioner and softener, and the installation went great. Since then, the water is as I expected. It’s very good and clear. I put my RainSoft in in early November, then I sent off a sample in mid-December to RainSoft, and I haven’t heard anything. But I presume that’s good news.
All in all, I got what I paid for and I’m happy with my experience. The product was extremely expensive, but I knew that going in. I also knew I bought the service and that was what I was going for. I needed someone to service this thing yearly, which they assured me was gonna happen. I have a well and I need this system. I could’ve gone to Lowe's or Home Depot and bought something sort of similar for quite a bit of less money, but then, I would have had to have a plumber come. I just didn’t want to involve myself in going through all that. I wanted a one-shot deal and I pay RainSoft for what it’s worth.
And now, if I have problems, I call Carolina Freshwater and that works for me. In fact, I will contact them in the future about the fact that the RO system sometimes doesn't shut off. It will trickle and you can hear it in the drain for three or four minutes. I'm wondering if I can up the pressure in the RO system within the system itself because I have good water pressure in the rest of the house and I think there’s not enough pressure to adequately shut off. I’ve read about it, but I’m not gonna get down there and tinker around with the fittings. Also, the only thing it feeds is the freshwater on the sink. I have a separate spigot for the RO and it goes to my ice machine. But I haven’t contacted them about it because I wanted to change the refrigerators and see if that ice machine was the problem. It turned out that it wasn’t. So, I’ll contact them about that, too.

However I was interested in finding out if I had 'lead' or any other harmful matter in my water.
Then he gave us a pressured talk on how we could get rid of all the 'grud' he found in one of his tests. We had no idea how he managed to show us the cloudy material in his test. We have recently got EC5 water softening system and would like to return in but RainSoft made a clever legal contract. We had only 3 days to try it and ran out of the cancellation period. Consider these before you purchase it.
1) Water softeners remove not only bad stuff from a water but also a good stuff such as Magnesium and Calcium, which are crucial for human body. That brings to to the point when you have to buy a drinking water supply from PolandSpring or so. You will not be able to drink it, cook on it, use it for pets, water your plants/garden etc.
2) If you have ill or pregnant members of the family, the lack of Magnesium will force them to buy additional food supplements, which is another additional cost.
3) You will not be able to use other water filtration systems with the EC5 processed water. They will not replenish missing ingredients. So you will end up with installing another water line bypassing the EC5 or or other water softeners and this is going to be additional cost.
The water softeners are needed in the areas with really hard water so if you are in New England you hardly need it. Unless you live on a volcano. Think before you get it...
Thank you for your message. The following link may assist you, and others, in understanding what is involved in the process of softening water, and the role both Calcium and Magnesium play in this process. Good information is beneficial for eberyone's understanding.

RainSoft sent me a thing in the mail for a free thing of Tide, which I have not received. I was supposed to get that for having my water tested. I got their system and it's outside in the yard. It’s a big thing and it hasn’t much salt in it. I've had the system since October 2nd. The salesman was nice and polite. The installers were nice too, but they did not finish the job. It got dark on them. They said someone would be back the next day. But they ended up running the extension cord and they didn't leave enough wire for the next guy that came out to finish the job, so they told him they needed to rerun the wire. Another guy came out and he was very nice. The third installation guy said he knew how to fix it but he was not a certified electrician, so they won’t let him do it. He would send a certified electrician.
A month went by and went into November. The electrician finally came and he hooked it to the receptacle, but I didn't feel like the wire was buried all the way because it was dark out. I was out there with the installers when they were doing it and I said that I wanted it buried at least deep as their shovel was. They did a couple of feet then I went in. All of a sudden, they were done and I didn't see any dig marks, so I’m pretty sure they did not bury that part. They just kinda threw some dirt over it. Also, I know it’s only a couple inches because I can pull the dirt back with my hand and look. It’s only a couple inches. That’s next to the house where they had run the wire under. It's not likely that the dogs or anything will dig right there. The technicians ended up not running a new wire. I wanted them to run a new wire because if they bury it deep enough, they would have enough room.
I then had to go to North Carolina for a funeral for my nephew and I just got back. I got back like Wednesday night. I didn't know who to call after that. A technician came out but I wasn’t home then. I called my friend and told the technician that my friend was going to be there in 15 minutes. When my friend got there, there was nobody there. I called the number that the tech called me from and said I thought he was gonna bury that to which he said it was already buried. But I think he only checked the system and didn't check the spot. I haven't had a chance to get out there and dig around myself to see. I’m terrified of electricity. Other than to fix the light switch, I’m fine with it. But I’m gonna have a friend of mine come over and kinda dig around out there and see. I guess I could unplug it and then dig around. That would probably be a smart thing to do.
Since having my system installed, I can tell a difference. Everything feels slick like for the shower and the dishes. Somebody was buying salt and I inquired about which salt to buy. He said that he didn't like that thing. It made everything feel slimy because it felt like you couldn't get the soap rinsed off. But it becomes a good feeling after you do it a couple of times. It feels like you’re clean.

I was quite impressed with everybody and the whole process. We've had the system for a couple of months now and we noticed that the clothes seemed cleaner when they come out of the wash. And you actually feel clean when you get out of the shower. I couldn’t get the soap off me at first and then now it has all changed where everything’s fantastic. There was a free water sample test towards the exit at Home Depot, and once we filled out for it, RainSoft got in contact with us. They set up an appointment, an actual in-home consultation, to see what the difference is. The demonstration was amazing until there was some sort of miscommunication. There was a bit of a false promise where they said there was going to be a soft inquiry, but it was a full inquiry. I had just bought this house and I also got a new car, so I had to get my credit back to where it was. Adding another line of credit, I thought that if that was the case, I never would have gotten it. But overall, it was fine.
We got the air filter, the one for a drinkable water from the sink and this massive tank down by the garage. Everything went smoothly during the installation and the people were very friendly, helpful and informative. They were in and out, and you could barely hear that they were there. It has been about a month and a half now since the system was put in and the water tastes definitely different. And though I don’t feel it, my fiancée and one of my close friends who lives here with me, said that the air smells more pure.

We have the water filter and there are two cylinders outside. One is salt and the other one is like carbon. We've had the water system for three months now and the quality of the water is much better. You can literally feel the difference in the water. My son has eczema and it has gotten much better. I live in an area that has hard water and minerals in it. I heard about them and then got them, and they installed it. And since then, being it so old, I had them to replace the computer head it had on it because 20 years is a long time to get service out of a unit. I contacted them because I had changed my telephone number and they had lost contact with me. So, I took it on my own to look up RainSoft and call them telling that I needed someone to come out and check my system. I noticed that the salt level in my salt box was not working like it was before, so I knew something was wrong. When you take a shower and you do not get any foam from your soap, you know your water is hard. And that was what I was experiencing.
Talking with their rep over the phone was good. They sent someone out within a couple of days to check it out and see if it was something that they could fix. After the investigation where they figured out that the circuit board was going bad and that it was not calling for the regeneration of the unit, they swapped that, had it in and it worked fine. It has been working for two months now. I do not think you can find anyone any better than RainSoft. I am happy with it.

My experience started when I was told by the sales rep that if he had known I was a single woman, that he wouldn't have come to try to sell me the product because I don't fit his demographic. I bought it anyway, because I was impressed by the product. The first group of gentlemen who came to my house might as well have been tweedle dee and tweedle dum. They wasted a large amount of time deciding that they weren't intelligent enough to install my water system. The second set of gentlemen who came out are the only people in this company who are worth speaking to and honestly should just break off and start their own company. They did have to come twice because they ran out of time the first night, but they were a blessing. However, they left holes in my walls and a giant hole in my floor. I was assured that Rainsoft would come out and fix it, no problem.
Now on my 4th time leaving work early to meet the gentleman who is supposed to fix my house, except he ONLY came with drywall. Unfortunately the holes were wood and the hole in my floor was also wood. Despite having pictures of the damage, no one sent him with the correct repair items. Rescheduled to the 5th time leaving work early to have my holes fixed. Rainsoft was a no show. ZERO customer service. No one communicates. YOU end up calling THEM to confirm ANYTHING. I watched them work and was congenial. They did an excellent install, and it was not easy to install. The system works well. The only negative thing is that it was very overpriced, but I knew that going in. Since having the system installed, I noticed that I don’t need nearly as much soap on it. We’re not unhappy with the decision but we’d be happier once we figure out how to use the website. Please know that our one star review is based mostly on the integrity of the sales rep and the area company that installed our unit. Our new house had terrible well water, iron stains on everything and it stained everything we had a dingy color. You could smell the iron and sulfur when the faucet ran. After 7 month we filled out a card from Home Depot for a free water test. Eventually, a call came and a sales rep came out. He set up his case at our kitchen sink and proceeded to dazzle us with brilliance. We were told this system had free service for the life of the product or until we no longer owned it. We were told our water would be soft and taste wonderful. We were told as a bonus we would receive five years worth of free Pure & Natural soap and cleaning products, saving us hundreds of dollars a year.
After at least three hours of this, he finally told us the price of the system that would best suit our needs: $5,200! Well, granted, it was actually one cent less than that. But, best of all, he said that Home Depot had a special offer that would be ending in a couple of days, where we could get 0% interest financing with no money down. After the system was installed we found out the interest we'd be charged was actually just under 10%. We would have had to put down quite a chunk of money to get the 0% interest. The realization of the first lie. The second realization was when they were installing the system and one tech said the minerals in the right hand tank would have to be replaced every two years at a substantial cost. BAM! Another slap in our faces.
It was a huge financial burden for us, being on social security and with very little savings after our home purchase, but we decided to go ahead and buy the system to add to the value of our home. Best yet, the system could be installed two days later. The boys came late, and had already had a very tiring day, not leaving 'til about dark. After they left we ran water for something, and, nothing. There was no water. The office was closed, being open only certain hours of the day, so after calling the sales rep and the leaving a message several times with the office, someone called and eventually it was deduced that the tech hadn't turned on the valves on top of the tanks. Much to our relief we could get it going ourselves.
Two weeks later we heard the sound of water gushing in the basement. It was a Sunday afternoon. We were shocked to see water spraying all over under our kitchen where the tanks were located, with already 2 inches of water on the floor. It took awhile to locate where it was coming from, which was the right hand tank. After turning off the water at the holding tank and wet vacuuming the floor, the annoyed tech called. To his dismay, the rupture was before the shut off valves on the system and he had to drive the 50 miles to service it, which ended up being a faulty o-ring.
Fast forward to December, just before Christmas, the system had to be flushed with bleach and re-calibrated. We had wonderful water for two months and then we started noticing it turning everything rust again and staining, and tasting terrible. Three months later it was bad again. Let me add that it was a nightmare getting the office to return our calls. The tech came out and repeated the above process. The day after the tech was here, the water was fine until the afternoon, and we noticed a terrible taste. We left a message at the office. Later someone called and said someone would call in the morning. The next day the owner of the water treatment company called and said he'd 'look at his schedule.' Two days later the office called and said he was out of town for meetings and would call the following week.
Meanwhile, we were buying drinking and cooking water. We started calling the office every morning, and after a few days the owner came on the phone and said he'd be down that afternoon. This man walked in our door, straight to the kitchen, ran water and flat out declared, "There's nothing wrong with the water." He then told us that his rep would have NEVER told us our water would taste good, OR be soft water! We would have to have a special reverse osmosis filter put under the sink for good tasting water, and a special softerner set up with the other two tanks in the basement! BAM! Two more lies!
That man was so rude and so horrible to us that my wife had to remove herself from the house until he left. It boiled down to the fact that he was mad because we had written to the Rainsoft company because his office refused to return our calls about the problems with the water. (I would like to state here that the Rainsoft customer service person was very helpful and prompt and we were treated with concern and kindness.) After the man left, we unpacked our Berkey filter system and began filtering our water like we were before the Rainsoft unit was installed. That was April 2, 2019, and we are still using our Berkey for drinking and cooking water.
One year after the unit was installed, an alarm went off saying the valve needed serviced. That was on Memorial Day weekend. Now the office responded with lightning speed. The tech was here Tuesday afternoon. I asked him twice to please bleach the system again, and both times he ignored me and wouldn't let me talk. He also let a new tech who had only been there for a month do all the work. When they left, he handed me a bill for $135. BAM! Another lie! There is NOT free service for the life of the product.
I know what you're thinking, "what could go wrong now?" They'd set the system to regenerate before they left and said it would be done in about an hour. We checked it later and guess what? Another leak, this time at the valve they'd just replaced and charged us $135 to come and do it! The only option was to shut off the valves, again. Once again, trying to get someone to return our call. She said someone would call in the morning. In the morning the office called and said to turn the bypass valves off. Hello, we already did that. The next day we called the office again. They said they didn't know when they could get down here. We waited three days for the tech to come down. Turns out the new guy only put 4 rings in and he had been told several times to put 5 in. The tech was upset because he had to drive 50+ miles to fix a mistake his co-worker made.
Since then, when the system comes on to backwash at just after midnight every other night, it comes on with a bang in the pipe and a whistle that sounds like aircraft landing! And I don't want to call that office again for love or money. Oh, and one more BAM! Remember the free soap and cleaners for 5 yrs? The water treatment company only paid for a one time deal, one year! Even though I was given 4 redemption certificates, when we sent one in this fall, we were told that their contract on file was for one year, a one time deal.
So, I don't blame Rainsoft so much as I blame the water treatment company who installed and services the unit. By reading other reviews, it is clear to me that much depends of the integrity of the company doing the work. We sincerely hope that this review will allow prospective buyers to get things IN WRITING, and read everything carefully. Do not allow the unit to be installed until you've had several days to review the contract and all the paperwork. If you managed to read this whole review without going to sleep, thank you.

Also he offer me free RO drinking water system worth $250 and installed on our kitchen sink. But he never told us that it is going to cost me $200 every year for replacing filter and service. If told before I would never agree to installed $250 system if going to cost me $200 every year.
Also worst thing is every year system control system reminds you to call for service by torturing constant beeping sound. One of my friend has to disconnect the system due to this beeping alarm sound. So bottom line is that there was a hidden cost after installation done. So I stopped recommending Rainsoft systems to others and if you are buying then make sure you understand total cost fully including service cost.

I signed up for the "whole house system" and decided that same day I didn't want to pay the price of a small car for the system so I called the next day to cancel. I was talked into getting just the sink system and was told by Susan I would still get the soaps and cleaners to offset the cost, just like I was pitched the night before, if I purchased the sink system. Now, 2 months later I am being told that I "can't have the soaps and cleaners" because I didn't pay $14,000 for the whole house system. This was the main reason I went ahead and got the sink system. Had they not drilled into my granite countertop to install the system (which I was NOT TOLD they were going to do) I would have it removed from my house. This is a bigger scam than Amway. The sales rep that we dealt with was cordial and professional, and then the installation also went great. I really appreciate the care that they took with the home. They really did a noble job to take care of things like I would want them taken care of, as opposed to somebody just coming in to do a job. And with the system installed, our water tastes and smells better.

I’m not satisfied with RainSoft. I was supposed to get a rebate check. I’ve called in my sales rep six times at this point. I keep getting the runaround. “Oh, somebody’s gonna call you and let you know it’s been delayed and what’s been going on.” I was also supposed to get additional points on the My360. Those have not come through. I followed up with the woman who I was working with. I’m being told that should be taken care of this week. Overall, if I didn’t have those issues, I’d be satisfied. But the promises that I was given on top of getting the RainSoft are not coming through. So, it’s just turning me off to the whole RainSoft procedure. Also, I was told that I would get either like four or five months of differed payments. I wouldn’t have to make a payment. Usually, when you’re offered that, it’s interest-free differed, and it hasn’t been the case.
I’ve made a payment out of good faith for my own self. When I got the invoice, it showed me that it was a revolving line of credit that was opened and not an installment loan that was opened, which is a big difference. Getting an actual monthly invoice for something that will go down versus a revolving line of credit that’s $8,000, I’m not happy with that blindside either but I dealt with that. So then, in faith, I sent an $85 payment just to get the amount that I owed rounded down to the nearest 100. Then the next month, after making a payment when I was told I didn’t have to make a payment, I had an interest charge of like $65. So, I have differed payments but interest is gonna accumulate the entire time. That’s also a huge blindside. The water has been fabulous, but I’m being blindsided left and right, up and down, and then I’m not even getting the perks and the benefits that RainSoft promised me.
Each time I call my sales guy, he’s like, “Oh, make sure you send me references. Make sure you send me references.” You don’t even wanna hear the words I’m ready to say to the man if he asked me again for references. The last thing I’m gonna do is refer RainSoft to any of my family or friends at this point. The sales guy knew that it was a revolving line of credit. He’s done it for how many years now. He knew that it wasn’t gonna be differed interest. When you come in to somebody’s home, it’s a totally different relationship versus me walking into a store and trying to take this out.
I was approached at Home Depot. Going to Home Depot for something totally different, and I was approached by a representative and said, “Can I have your water tested at your home? You’ll get a $75 gift card. No obligation.” The sales guy came into my house, twisted my arm behind my back, spent almost seven hours with me and my husband trying to discuss things and he did a great job. But now, I’ve known that he’s a snake, and he’s been doing it for so many years. He failed to say there is interest, and it’s a revolving line of credit, which are two things that if I would’ve heard at the very beginning, they would’ve deterred me slightly, or at least, I would’ve been prepared for this. I’m not prepared for this. I have like a $7,500 loan now, that if I don’t get it squared away and start making significant monthly payments to it, I’m pretty much in a revolving line of credit hell.

I did a water test, and then a gentleman came out and tested the water and showed us and offered up the Rainsoft equipment, and we got it. We love it. We got everything including the washing machine one, the air filter, the air filter for AC, the water and the sink. Our full house is set up for it. The drinking water is perfect. I did not drink very much water before then. And now, everybody in the whole house drinks water regularly.
I need some help because I never got the website to be able to go and order the stuff, so I was wondering about that. I was gonna call them. A lady told me that they would be calling me soon to give me the website but I don't have the website for the item. My wife had known about Rainsoft for a while. I knew about water softeners before but I've never heard of Rainsoft until they actually showed up and did a demonstration. The sales rep was excellent. We got the whole house water softener, the charcoal filter or dechlorinization system. We got an under-the-sink reverse osmosis system. The installers did an excellent job. They had it done that day, but there was a part busted and they had to come back in a week to fix the part. The system was up and running, but there was something going on with it. They had to come back and fix the thing. The installer said one week and it was exactly seven days and they got it fixed. I’d absolutely recommend Rainsoft to anybody.

Then later, I have an appointment with my salesperson who sold me the system to upgrade because I did the reverse osmosis, and I did a very good system, but I need to add one more tank. I really like our RainSoft system. My fiancée found out about it from somebody at Home Depot, then she went with the discussion. We set up a meeting to have them test our water and it was absolutely great dealing with their rep. After the test, I was surprised with everything that was in the water. We thought that if it could make our water healthier, then we would give it a shot. There happened to be a local company that installs RainSoft systems and they were able to come out right after we were done talking with the rep. And so, our system was installed about two hours afterwards. The installation team was really great too. They went over everything about the system again, which the rep already did, to make sure I didn’t have any other questions. And since then, I've loved the system. Everything seems to run great and I really have noticed a difference.

We did a water test with a marketing group for RainSoft and then we had a salesperson come out and do a demonstration. It was an awesome interaction, and the installation was good except for the piping. They are going to re-pipe the unit because the manual says to use ¾-inch pipes coming into the unit and they used ½-inch. So, there has been some questions around that portion of the installation, but everything else is working well. Since the system has been installed, the water is very good. It seems like it has less salt than our previous system and it also seems much better for cleaning.

RainSoft's reps and installers were very friendly and everybody seemed to be knowledgeable. We talked to one of the managers since they had to come out a couple of times. But they seemed to be very nice trying to get everything going well for us. When the original installation was done, they had to drill into our granite countertop around the sink. There was a lot of dust that we had to clean up afterwards. Additionally, the salesperson at Home Depot said that we would get an email about how to get free soap products. We haven’t received any information on that yet. But other than those issues, no big deal and their team installed our system okay.
Thus far, we're really enjoying it. I can tell the difference and the lack of lime deposits that we get on the shower head as well as our bathroom water has been really nice too. I also don't have to replace any of the salt or anything like that. We haven't had any problems since installation. We really like the product so far and and it's gonna be an easy system to use.

In the last hurricane, we didn't have to go out and fill up water. We had five-gallon jugs here. We just filled up our own water at home. When we got it, we didn't have to be fighting in those stores to get water. Friends came over and we showed them the whole RainSoft System, and they were just as happy with it as we were. Plus, RainSoft has an app on the phone that can monitor your system and it tells you when it’s cleaning itself and when it’s low on salt. Also, we just got our first check for referring a friend’s name. We get a $50 referral check for every presentation and if four or five of our referrals buy the system, RainSoft actually pays for our system.

When we ran into RainSoft at Home Depot, they were doing a survey. Then, they came out and did their water check. We signed the paperwork and did everything for it. We were really happy with the test. They came out and we asked them about the credit check. They said it's a soft credit check and they would come out and install it the next morning as long as we get financed.
They were out here the very next morning installing the system. They ran both my husband's credit and mine three times, hard. But we were like, “Okay, we got the system. It’s financed, whatever.” Somewhere about 12 days later, I called because we got the soap package with it and I couldn’t use any of the points. When I called, the rep couldn’t give me any information because they needed to come back out to do a quality check and make sure the system was running right, which I didn’t know anything about. Nobody had said anything.
The day the rep was supposed to come out, they ran our credit again, 17 days after the system had already been installed. I got into an argument with them over why they were running my credit after it had already been in my house for almost a month and they said that because they hadn’t come out and done their quality check, they could keep running it, which we didn’t know about. So, he said that there’s supposed to be 5 days and they would come out and do it.
Also, we had agreed when we signed to do the paperwork that our payments were gonna be like $136 a month. We were deferring it for so many days. And when she came out, our payments were $286 a month, with deferred for 90 days because it was the best financing she could do. I had the system on my house, so we thought over trying to get something back installed. It was in an absolute, crazy mess and my credit got ruined because they ran it so many times. And they took the system back. $300 a month is crazy. As awesome as the water was, I can’t and that was not what we agreed on at all. We had an absolutely terrible experience with everything except for how the water and the actual system was good. I would not recommend them at all.

We bought a home that had an EC4 system installed. The previous owners wanted to charge us $2000 for keeping the system. We did not want to do that, so they left it, probably knowing that the system has a lifetime warranty on it. Sadly, the system was not maintained and the water tasted salty and tested poorly. The tech who came out said that we could put in another system since the repair would cost $1500 (the result of letting the salt run out).
A new system could run up to $6000, so we opted to use the buyback program where the replace the main tank system and we pay $2700 and get the lifetime warranty which did not carry over to us from the previous owners. We hope this was a good decision. Glad we did not buy the system from the previous owner for $2,000. We also hope the water improves and we will stay on top of the system. I am sure that in this area, the water will be awful without a softener and filter, so it was paying for the lesser of two evils.

Bottom Line: We purchased a complete home softener/conditioner water system from RainSoft of Huntsville. After 3 days of use, we've found it to be awesome. Softener/Conditioner Product: The EC5-100-V system provides the whole house with softened and conditioned water - the girls love the soft skin feeling and no longer need conditioner when shampooing. We are using less soap across the board for hands, sink, dishwasher, showers, clothes washing - it is like our soaps are now supercharged. Use less - get more suds!
Drinking Water Product: Our under sink filter (reverse osmosis) provides the purest drinking water we've ever tasted - beats any bottled water we've tried. We've noticed that our Keurig coffee tastes better too. We also find ourselves drinking more water each day - a good thing. Purchase & Installation: We invited the owner (Mr. Randy Williams) of RainSoft Huntsville out for a demonstration. We were a bit skeptical at first, but the demonstrations done by Mr. Williams actually won us over into believing the RainSoft product would improve our water throughout our home. We purchased their top of the line system and Mr. Williams set up its installation for that afternoon.
The installer Mr. Doug **, arrived exactly as promised by Mr. Williams. He set up shop in our driveway and was very efficient installing our system. I cannot recall him making a motion that wasn't thought out and needed for installation. He did the under sink Ultrafiner system first and then installed the EC-5 system in our garage. Throughout, Mr. ** explained what he was doing, how things worked and answered every question I had. As part of the EC5's plumbing, we now have a whole house shut off spigot in our garage - no more running out to the street meter to turn water off if we need!
Mr. ** gave us confidence that we purchased a quality product backed by an honorable business owner. He has worked for RainSoft of Huntsville for over 15 years and spoke highly of the owner. Not often an installer will sincerely do that. Summary: If you are considering a water treatment system for your home - getting a demo from RainSoft of Huntsville is a wise move. We live in Madison, AL and have a great water utility, but this RainSoft system took our good water and made it awesome.

He also asked if we would agree to have someone come and give us a presentation. Then, he set up an appointment with RainSoft and the rep who came out clearly knew his stuff. He was a little bit of an old-timer kind of guy but he got the job done. We didn't know that much about soft water systems per se, but we knew about the pros and cons of reverse osmosis and alkaline water. We knew the benefits of that and he filled in a few gaps. But mostly, he got to skip through the presentation pretty fast since we were already believers in it.
For the installation, we initially had one of the more junior people come to do the install and he was a very nice guy. He dropped the stuff off, drilled the hole for the spout in the kitchen, and put it in place under the sink spout. But right away, he realized that the situation at our house was beyond what his skill set and his license would allow. He said it would take a very long time for him to do it on his own and he stopped because he said it was clear that we needed the general contractor installer guy to come and do it.
If he hadn't had the good sense to stop, we probably would've been very underwhelmed by how he was planning to install it. But once the other guy came, which was Danny and he comes with a helper, we were over the moon happy with everything that he did. He was fantastic and he did so much. He pointed out something that was out of code with how our sprinkler system was done and was able to fix that so our soft water system didn't push through to the sprinklers and kill everything. He was so knowledgeable and he did everything really well. So that was the best part of the whole RainSoft experience so far.

I had issues with plumbing that led to hard water and so I had my water tested. I went to Home Depot, grabbed one of their free kits and then they sent it to RainSoft. We had a representative not long after that in the house, tested the water, showed us the results of it and that's when I decided that we needed a water softening system. I consulted with their rep and every facet of the whole process was smooth. The rep thought of things that I wouldn't have thought of at the time of installation. It turned out to make the whole job easier afterward, not only for me but for him too. We did the water softening system and the reverse osmosis fountain. Since then, the water tastes better out of the drinking fountain. We use less detergent both with washing the clothes and the dishes. I would highly recommend RainSoft.

My equipment was old and started falling apart. And then I talked to my water guy that I use. We discussed what kind of replacements we would need. He recommended RainSoft, and I was good with that. The sales rep of RainSoft was terrific. He did a great job. He explained everything in an understandable and representable way. And he's conscientious as can be and makes sure that the job is done right. I purchased the two heads for an acid neutralizer and a charcoal filter.
The installer is a one-man shop and he's a wonder. I'm recommending him to my next-door neighbor for water equipment. He's a great guy. And everything he does and everything he handles is top quality at reasonable rates. He was very approachable and he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. So far, I've had no issues with RainSoft and everything seems to be working fine. I had some power outage like we do with some rough weather now and again. And the battery backups, I didn't have to reset anything. That's nice and convenient. I've already recommended RainSoft to the neighbors.

The consultation with the sales rep of RainSoft went well. He was knowledgeable and he did a good job in presenting. He was pretty thorough too. We did the washing machine. We also did the reverse osmosis and the full water system. The experience with the installation team was fine, too. No issues. They explained the system as best as they could. They explained how it worked. We had a question and the owner of the company came out and we chatted with him as well. My wife had commented on how impressed she was with washing with cold water with the system and even with showers, the water now is soft. It leaves our skin nice and smooth. The water quality for drinking is good, too. We're impressed with that. We're satisfied and we'd recommend RainSoft.

We had hard water and decided to look into treatment systems. When we consulted a RainSoft rep, he went into detail about the product and answered any questions we had. Then, he followed up with another visit to go over some other things. The whole experience was very professional and it showed that they definitely had some experience in the business.
We got the softener, the conditioner and the QR filter. The quality of the installation was excellent. The installer called before coming to make sure we were here. He was very clean and he did a very nice job installing everything. He explained how the system works and how to use everything. It was very thorough and detailed. Now, our skin is less dry, our hair more shiny, softer and we use less soap products.

Setting up a consultation with RainSoft was pretty easy and the representatives who came out were very polite. They made a lot of very good claims to their presentation and they definitely made sense to try and protect our water supply. We purchased the softener and the RODI system. Everything was super good with the installation aside from our sink with the RODI. They installed a faucet but the faucet has come loose and we've had issues trying to find the time that works for both of us as far as getting the repair done. But we've got a good solid date nailed down now. Also, since having the system installed, the way our soap works and how we feel after taking showers are so much better now.

I had to call in and move the schedule one day from the original date because my husband was not gonna be here, and the reps at RainSoft were very nice about doing that. RainSoft made a big difference in the hardness, and softness of our water. My husband enjoyed it so much that he is now working for RainSoft.

During the sales demonstration, the rep informed my wife and I that the system would pay for itself over the course of 3 years. He illustrated how a $200 monthly savings on the various soap products that would be delivered to our door would cover the full cost of the system in 3 years. Based on this claim, we agreed to purchase the system.
We soon discovered that the claim of monthly soap products being delivered to our door was false, so the presentation was misleading and deceptive. Instead of soap products being delivered monthly, you may only obtain the soap products once a year. In short, instead of a $200 monthly savings, it is a $200 yearly saving, which means the product pays for itself in 37 YEARS, not 36 MONTHS. We've only had the system for 2 months, so we attempted to reach the local office to discuss their deceptive sales practices and how they'd like to address this issue. At this time, no one will return our calls. Buyers beware!

Due to the quality of our well water, we looked into treatment systems and ended up with RainSoft. Setting up our consultation with them was very easy and the sales rep that we dealt with was very professional. She was on time and was very easy to listen to. She was very thorough and answered any question we had. I was dead set on not getting one and spending the money, but she convinced us otherwise. She is obviously good at what she does. And then we got everything. We got the thing on the main well where the water comes in at and we got the spigot by the kitchen sink for bottled water stuff. We also got the air filtration. The installers were also good and professional. They were on time and were here for less than the time they said they would be, and cleaned up. They were very smooth.

I was in Home Depot and one of the guys asked me some questions about the water, and they set up for them to come do a water test. Then, when they sent the guy and I learned what was in that water, I decided it was a lot safer water, so I went ahead and got a water softener. It’s the one where I don’t have to do anything but add salt to it every couple of years. Everything went great with the sales rep and I learned a lot. The guys who installed it did it quickly and it was up and running in no time. Since I had the water softener installed, the water is clearer, it tastes good and it’s great to be able to drink it right from the sink. It also feels good when I shower. I made the right decision and I would tell my friends they need to buy it. The experience was perfect and the only thing that could happen better is if I could get somebody to pay for it for me but it’s worth every penny, so I’m happy with it.

I had read intensively on the problem with the water and air quality in LA. Home Depot came in with a person from RainSoft, and sold me on the idea of their water system, so I stayed with them. They did a quality test on the water, showed me what the problems with our water were -- the hardness, the chemicals involved with the drinkable water and then they presented their programs or what they offer in regards to their product. The Home Depot gentleman was there to back him up and answer any of my questions. It was really good and well presented. Unfortunately price is a little bit costly. But that’s not something they can change. Other than that Rainsoft has been good. In less than an hour the installation team was done. And now everyone’s drinking more water at home.

My RainSoft water system is working fine. Everything went smoothly and very good during the installation. It took about an hour and a half. The installer had a problem with the AC installation. He installed the purificator and one of the fuse blew up. So, he had to go to the store and get a new one. But apart from that, everything was good. But my brother had a different brand, and it was way less expensive and they have the same function.

My spouse was motivating me to begin researching water treatment systems. She had been told by a plumber that water conditioners were good for home pipes, and we purchased a new home 10 years ago. The city where we live apparently used to do citywide water softening as part of their water treatment. The plumber said they had discontinued that. His recommendation was to look for water softeners and we purchased RainSoft's water conditioning system.
About three weeks after it was installed, I had occasioned to go down and change the kitty’s litter box. I was standing there with a scooper, looked around the basement, and I literally went, “What’s that?” I went over and looked at it, and it was my water conditioner. It was very attractive. The purchasing process was so painless that I had forgotten about it and it surprised me when I discovered it. I knew it was being installed and I’d paid for it by then, but I’d had so little fuss and bother that it had slipped my mind that the work had been done.
I don't spend a lot of time worrying about anything in my life. But if you’ve ever had a water mess, it can be very uncomfortable. The installation of the water conditioner involved working on the water. I hoped the guy didn't cut into a pipe and I'd go home and there'd be four inches of water in the basement. And that did not happen. I didn't not end up with puddles of water in my basement. The guy did a fabulous job and I already have recommended RainSoft to friends.
