I looked up this website to purchase and single report and was charged for a package. I could see that I was charged $1 dollar. Then a few days late $5. I suspected I was going to see unexplained charges coming out of my account on an endless basis to I reached out to have the service cancelled. I used the live chat, and the process could not have been simpler and more cut dry. I will be watching my account of course, to ensure the company has kept its promise but at least they did not make cancelling a hassle.

I needed a copy of my deed from the Recorder of Deeds office. Problem solved within minutes. Totally excellent service - thank you! Wish all services were this quick and pleasant. I thought that the government shutdown would bog down all services, but that wasn't the case at all.

I called to cancel my membership today and the process was easy and shot. No one tried to sell me anything or prolonged the process. I would use them on and off to check on properties.

You may find the reports PropertyRecs.com provides useful. But BEWARE! While they will provide a report for only $1 (one-time only), they will charge you $7 to download it. Then they will charge you regularly—$5 every few days or $20 every 15 days until you cancel, So cancel immediately after you get your report by calling 866 242-0544. Don't cancel using their website. That's not effective.

The response was immediate. My question and request were completed thoroughly and to my satisfaction. I received the information I needed very quickly. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I needed the plumbing schematic for my house. Property recs reports says this was in the report so I paid 1.00. I was charged 14.00 more but they refunded it with no problem, no hassle. But the report I did get was very informative even though it was not what I was looking for.

I am trying to fill in some large gaping holes of my family tree, which is a mighty lofty goal considering I was adopted, and my dad was adopted...It has been a challenge. Every little scrap of information that I get is like finding the golden egg at an Easter egg hunt. So, I brought my small amount of information about grandpa to you for verification, thinking that it would take forever for someone to answer my questions...But actually my questions were all taken care of in less than an hour. I didn't get to verify grandpa's temporary home at the prison farm, but it wasn't for lack of help and guidance from the county clerk's office. I will try again at the next office that was suggested.

The website was easy to navigate and the data reports I requested were very detailed and responsive to my requests. The office responded very quickly to my email to them and provide additional helpful advice on how I might collect any additional information I need that wasn't provided in their reports.

I wish I would have searched for these reviews prior to requesting the report online. I needed my information to submit a homestead exemption and the report provided by PropertyRecs was adequate. However, similar to the other reviews I paid $1 for the report but began to be billed $30 a month without any confirmation from propertyrecs. When you log into their site there is no section to check for subscription or cancel it. You must use their LiveChat. Based on the agent's response this must be his whole job, cancelling recurring charges. He refunded one month, but I was not able to catch it until 4 months had past so I essentially paid $91 for one report. Seems like a shady business model to me.

Extremely helpful and fast to reply. Even at 2am when I was deep diving into the history of where I work someone was online to help me. They also quickly provided step by step instructions on how to go further back in time for me to find the property’s ownership.

I used this site to get access to my records. The fine print though hides the 20$ fee if not read carefully so I canceled. Otherwise I have had no complaints with this service especially the customer support. It’s top notch and for that in itself I’d recommend.

It was quick and easy to get property records on my home. The search was thorough and I was able to learn much needed information and even some interesting historical data on my home of which I was unaware.

Similar story to others, 1$ pull report apparently authorizes you for $20 monthly membership... Pure scam. I never accepted a $20 monthly subscription. They had been doing this for 10 months so I paid $201 for a report until I found out and they were very generous to "cancel" an account I apparently didn't create. Looking forward to reporting them to VISA and Mastercard.

This site has the same information you find in Zillow. Don't pay the fee, save the time to cancel future charges. There was no message indicating that you will be enrolling on a monthly subscription until your credit card is being processed.

Property Recs enrolled me in a subscription service without my approval. I paid for a single property report ($1) and then found that they were charging repeated monthly (unauthorized) subscription. Further, within your account on PropertyRecs, there is NO WAY to cancel your membership. They DO have it on their main page (why would I be going to the main page if I have an account that I'm logged in to), but intentionally hid it on the bottom of the main page only.

My experience was very pleasant. The representative was informative. I was able to ask my question and receive a response in a timely manner. The representative was polite. They were very quick with resolving my issue and provided a confirmation number. I was asked if I needed anything further. The process time was less than 1 minute. Great service!

The Property Rec's website makes it easier to get information as needed quickly. Albeit not all information is available online and with my recent experience having to submit a request for details, Mar was quick to answer, provided the information I needed to continue my project request. Having live support for these types of requirements and the convenience of internet communication makes every project much easier and enjoyable in dealing with the county.

The search records were very helpful. I was searching for a real estate transaction and needed background information on potential purchases. When I no longer needed the service, it was easy to cancel it.

I was searching for ownership change on a property my family used to own. I found Propertyrec.com and they had decent reviews and appeared legit. I was charged $120 and received less information than I found on Lee County, FL website. Total ripoff. I contacted them and they gave me the following bs explanation; We're a privately owned website and not affiliated with any government agency. Our information is sourced from public records, which may have limitations in accuracy or completeness.

WOAH....I just had a very nice interaction with not one but TWO customer service representatives for Propertyrecs.com. I had bought 1 property record from them back in April. There is a button to press where you can get a one time document for $1. There are a couple of other options too, for bulk document buying, but it is clear that I marked clicked on the $1 option. The website says that they only offer one per customer. I got the document.

Do not use this site if you are searching for Property Deed. The service is information only with a charge of $20 and you are then enrolled in their monthly fee of $30. And the information is available for free in many online sites. To receive a Deed you must go to a County Recorder. BTW, Recorder stated she has heard of multiple people searching for a deed online and getting stung by this information site. On the positive. they were very quick to refund the $30 and cancel the ongoing charges.

Updated on 06/26/2025: I’m not going to change my review because of the trouble I had while in contact with this company. But I did receive a full refund after several phone calls and emails. And still would not recommend them.

I paid the $1 for the single property report I wanted. Nowhere did I see that there would be any additional charges. Then, a day later they charged me $30 for "multiple property report" access. I will have to contest this charge with my bank. Very deceptive. Also, the report was not complete and did not even answer my basic question.

I paid $7 for a PDF of incomplete property information. A week later, they quietly began billing $30/month without any notice or way to manage subscriptions on their site. You can’t log in to view or cancel—it forces you into live chat, where agents insist you “must have signed up by accident,” yet provide no proof you ever agreed to a recurring charge (no emails, no invoices, nothing). They emailed me a $30 invoice on June 6, claiming it covered my April service—despite already billing me $30 on May 1 and $30 on June 1. After I was transferred to another rep, they charged me yet again, leaving me $120 out of pocket for useless, incomplete data. Do not give these people your credit card.

I pulled a report from PropertyRecs.com back in August of 2024 for a charge of $1. In Jan. 2025 they were pulling $20 a month from my bank account. I reached out to them since I never authorized a $20 a month fee for their services. They did provide a report and it helped. When I reached out to them asking why without hesitation, they cancelled my account and refunded me. They were very helpful. I will follow up to see if they refund my $$. & keep you posted.

I used PropertyRec.com to try to get information on the correct property lines at my grandparents' home. I paid a dollar for the report knowing that I would be charged $20 a week later if I did not cancel. Although Information regarding the property lines was incorrect on the website. It was also incorrect at the tax assessor's office in my parish so I cannot fault Propertyrec for the incorrect information. What I can say is that when I wanted to get a refund of the $20, it was the easiest interaction I’ve ever experienced. They understood my issue.

Excellent summary of property and history. Good plot photo and area on map. Very helpful with understanding the current fair value price for the property. Could see that the current owners truly have occupied the home for decades. Surprise data included registered offenders residing in the area. I did not expect to see that but can be helpful and useful. I did need to contact support regarding technical issue and they were very responsive and provided immediate resolution.

I too paid for a $1 report - which I never received. Lo and behold they've been charging me (unbeknownst to me) $20 per month for the last 3 months for nothing. I called after the first charge and was told they didn't see where I even had an account. Beware. This sure seems like a scam to me. They are supposedly refunding my money but I'll believe it when I see it.

This site, Propertyrecs.com uses the duplicitous practice of charging monthly without sending email so you thought you bought the service for one time only but are then charged monthly. I hate businesses that disguise that they are subscriptions.

Very efficient and responsive at getting me additional information that I needed. Initial basic report was missing some stuff I needed. They sent a follow up e-mail to me to check I had what I needed and I explained that I needed something else. They then very quickly researched and got me what I needed.

I helped a friend research information on a property that he owns. Although, I didn't get everything that I was looking for, I got more than I anticipated. I ordered the basic report, that included: land geo photo, parcel size, current and former residents, sexual offenders. Each report...i.e., if you were to click on a resident, it tells you all previous and current addresses, ages, potential email and potential phone numbers. The thing that got me, was that after I received the report, I received an email from Jeremy, to ask if I got everything that I was looking for. He did additional research and provided additional information. Worth the money, but I would suggest getting all possible reports to ensure you are receiving the most comprehensive findings.

Did a look up on a property that was believed to not be deeded to my father as it should have been. After my search I received an email from Michael (Data Report Expert) asking if I found what I needed during my search. Since I did not actually find exactly what I needed, he diligently continued the search and kept in contact with me. He came back with information of a Land Contract not recorded as satisfied being the issue, steering me in the direction of where to go next for more info. This is not a take your money and run outfit. They sincerely care about their customers with follow up and assistance (not common in the world today).

I was looking for information to see how a house was titled in Florida (joint tenancy etc). I was doing this at 3 am FL time. I came across this website pretty quickly. For $1 I could a basic report. Then if you want other items it's an additional $5. There are all sorts of things they can find for you. I ordered a few extra things, probably more than I needed, and my total was $24. That's a bargain! I didn't have to do any more searching, didn't have to call the public records/courthouse, and didn't have to fly out to Florida. I try to find all the information myself that way it reduces my attorney fees. With the information I was able to get through this company I could see I didn't have a case to move forward.

I requested a report for the house I am planning to buy, and the report they provided is excellent. It offers detailed information about the current owner, property values, and tax details. Additionally, it includes a list of nearby sex offenders, which is very useful.

I purchased the data I thought that I needed from the site ($1), and shortly after receiving the data came another email checking to make sure I had gotten what I was looking for. I explained what it was I was looking for, and told my request would be sent to the correct department to research-lo and behold within an hour or two, arrived the data I needed!

Surprise $20 charge, had to file a fraud claim. There was no notification for the charge and I was completely unaware that I was giving my payment info to them for recurring charges. This site is very untrustworthy and the worst part is we used the site because of the reviews on Trust pilot.

In reviewing my bank statements, I noticed a recurring $20 charge. The initial charges in June included $1 and a $5.90. Then every month afterwards were $20 charge each month!!! I called and spoke with someone. They will be refunding these charges within 3 days. We will see! Not sure how this happened but it seem to happen to several people!

Scam site. You get nothing but generic information gleaned from realtor sites that is neither official nor correct in many cases. $1 charge, but days later they start charging again for no reason. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! There is no order number provided so you can't reference back to it either. SCAM entirely.

They charge $1.00 for the initial report then bill you $20/month somehow. It's either entirely fraudulent or they've hidden the agreement to pay $20/month somewhere that you don't notice it. The only positive thing is that if you contact them and call them on it, they'll refund to your credit card the $20/month. While easy refunds are commendable, they don't make up for sneaking in monthly charges and hoping that you don't notice.

Updated on 10/07/2024: Refunded charge but still annoying that they did it in the first place.

I was under the impression that there was a one time charge of $1 per report. I only ordered one report and paid the dollar fee. Now there's a $20 charge on my bank account!!! I feel scammed! I would not recommend this site to my worst enemy. I went to the site under the impression that I could get the deed that I was looking for but that also wasn't available.

The reports seem to be accurate, but the interface pulls additional money from you before you get to see what you are actually paying for. I would be completely happy to get the basic report, with buttons that let me purchase more of what I need, but upcharging me upfront may be a good business model from their point of view (cash generation for the business); however, it means that I will go out of my way to overpay for ANYONE else's information. The site leaves me feeling cheated and betrayed, buoyed up by hollow promises and weighed down by hefty fees. At least the refund reply was rapid (we will see how long it takes to process - based on their initial performance I'd bet they hold the money until the end of their next billing cycle).

Please be careful with this a company. I believe it’s a scam. They delivered the property report I purchased but then charged me another 20 dollars a couple weeks later. When I emailed them to understand why they said they would refund it by check after 30 days because they could not refund the card. I called Visa directly and NO attempt had been done to refund the card. Note that 30 days is the amount of time Visa allows for disputes. It’s my opinion that they billed my card and then said they would refund via check. Email communications attached below.

I saw a commercial on television regarding house stealing after which I was understandably concerned. I needed to verify that I was still the owner of record for the property I owned. I completed a very brief form and within a few minutes I received my report. The search was quick, detailed, and provided the needed information. I'm was definitely satisfied!

Report is good but there are a few errors regarding my name and my wife's name and former addresses. Not sure how to correct them. Also: No way to download the pdf. Please make these reports downloadable. Also: Who was the actual builder of this house? It states date, but not actual builder. I want to compare building materials from 1970 to building materials used in many houses since 1990, which I believe are inferior and make houses fall apart or degrade in just a few years instead of in decades... like my house.
