This is a deceptive business. Paid $1 for a single property report, then got a multiple recurring $20 charge on my credit card. Will be disputing at banking and blacklisting them for all charges within my bank. Do not use this “service”. Not sure how this business continues to operate. Wish I can put zero stars.

I am very happy with PropertyRecs. I found their report to be quite thorough. They even supplied me with information I had no idea was available. I will be returning should I ever need to find information on my property and surrounding areas. Thank you for your assistance with canceling my account. I would in fact be interested in becoming a full-time client but I cannot afford it at this time. Have a wonderful day!

I was having trouble locating my tax receipts, when I asked for assistance. They were very helpful and fast. I received everything that I had requested. I had made several attempts with no response. Thank you for your quick response.

I signed up for one report for 1 dollar on my personal property. I guess they hope that no ne will notice when the charge $5.00 a month. Well it worked until the jacked it up to $20.00. Not noticing it earlier is on me, but jacking up the price and then raising it when no other reports were asked for after the first. That sounds like crooks to me, you decide for yourself.

Property rec provided me with comprehensive details on my home and property history that helped plan for upgrades and investments. The records show everything about your land, build, renovations and ownership.

I had inadvertently signed up for a service that I did not want. When I investigated, your rep was able to quickly correct the problem. Too bad that your web site did not alert me to the nature of my original mistake. Cost me about $60 unnecessarily.

I wanted some more information on my property. Specifically what documents were stored about my place. The folks were nice and quick and the whole process was wonderful. I now have a better idea of what the records say about my property.

BE WARNED. This company uses some of the most egregious practices in business. They lure you in with a $1 charge to get a property tax record, then begin charging your credit card every two weeks. Moreover, they lure you in with the $1 charge to access the records, but then piecemeal it out so that you have to pay ever increasing charges to get the actual information you need. I called to dispute the periodic charges. "Sure," they said, "we will send you an email form, fill it out and we will refund you." Guess what. I have not received any emails from them. FYI, many counties/municipalities provide this information FREE OF CHARGE. Go directly to the county/municipality source. DO NOT REWARD THEIR UNSAVORY BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Mar provided excellent service when I was inquiring about the list of grantees on my Aunt's property. Mar provided a PDF copy of the property as well as providing a link to the Caddo Parish Clerk of Court. Excellent service and fast response!

I am searching for historical documentation for my house. The rapid response and overall depth of information is surprising and useful. The customer service responses were immediate which is a rarity in today’s world. While some of the information provided is not 100% accurate, it is not due to any failure of the company. They report what they find and in that regard, their search capability is second to none. I am happy to have found them and am extremely pleased overall. It is well worth the minimal cost.

I looked up this website to purchase and single report and was charged for a package. I could see that I was charged $1 dollar. Then a few days late $5. I suspected I was going to see unexplained charges coming out of my account on an endless basis to I reached out to have the service cancelled. I used the live chat, and the process could not have been simpler and more cut dry. I will be watching my account of course, to ensure the company has kept its promise but at least they did not make cancelling a hassle.

I needed a copy of my deed from the Recorder of Deeds office. Problem solved within minutes. Totally excellent service - thank you! Wish all services were this quick and pleasant. I thought that the government shutdown would bog down all services, but that wasn't the case at all.

I called to cancel my membership today and the process was easy and shot. No one tried to sell me anything or prolonged the process. I would use them on and off to check on properties.

You may find the reports PropertyRecs.com provides useful. But BEWARE! While they will provide a report for only $1 (one-time only), they will charge you $7 to download it. Then they will charge you regularly—$5 every few days or $20 every 15 days until you cancel, So cancel immediately after you get your report by calling 866 242-0544. Don't cancel using their website. That's not effective.

I needed the plumbing schematic for my house. Property recs reports says this was in the report so I paid 1.00. I was charged 14.00 more but they refunded it with no problem, no hassle. But the report I did get was very informative even though it was not what I was looking for.

I am trying to fill in some large gaping holes of my family tree, which is a mighty lofty goal considering I was adopted, and my dad was adopted...It has been a challenge. Every little scrap of information that I get is like finding the golden egg at an Easter egg hunt. So, I brought my small amount of information about grandpa to you for verification, thinking that it would take forever for someone to answer my questions...But actually my questions were all taken care of in less than an hour. I didn't get to verify grandpa's temporary home at the prison farm, but it wasn't for lack of help and guidance from the county clerk's office. I will try again at the next office that was suggested.

The website was easy to navigate and the data reports I requested were very detailed and responsive to my requests. The office responded very quickly to my email to them and provide additional helpful advice on how I might collect any additional information I need that wasn't provided in their reports.

I wish I would have searched for these reviews prior to requesting the report online. I needed my information to submit a homestead exemption and the report provided by PropertyRecs was adequate. However, similar to the other reviews I paid $1 for the report but began to be billed $30 a month without any confirmation from propertyrecs. When you log into their site there is no section to check for subscription or cancel it. You must use their LiveChat. Based on the agent's response this must be his whole job, cancelling recurring charges. He refunded one month, but I was not able to catch it until 4 months had past so I essentially paid $91 for one report. Seems like a shady business model to me.

Extremely helpful and fast to reply. Even at 2am when I was deep diving into the history of where I work someone was online to help me. They also quickly provided step by step instructions on how to go further back in time for me to find the property’s ownership.

I used this site to get access to my records. The fine print though hides the 20$ fee if not read carefully so I canceled. Otherwise I have had no complaints with this service especially the customer support. It’s top notch and for that in itself I’d recommend.

It was quick and easy to get property records on my home. The search was thorough and I was able to learn much needed information and even some interesting historical data on my home of which I was unaware.

Similar story to others, 1$ pull report apparently authorizes you for $20 monthly membership... Pure scam. I never accepted a $20 monthly subscription. They had been doing this for 10 months so I paid $201 for a report until I found out and they were very generous to "cancel" an account I apparently didn't create. Looking forward to reporting them to VISA and Mastercard.

This site has the same information you find in Zillow. Don't pay the fee, save the time to cancel future charges. There was no message indicating that you will be enrolling on a monthly subscription until your credit card is being processed.

Property Recs enrolled me in a subscription service without my approval. I paid for a single property report ($1) and then found that they were charging repeated monthly (unauthorized) subscription. Further, within your account on PropertyRecs, there is NO WAY to cancel your membership. They DO have it on their main page (why would I be going to the main page if I have an account that I'm logged in to), but intentionally hid it on the bottom of the main page only.

My experience was very pleasant. The representative was informative. I was able to ask my question and receive a response in a timely manner. The representative was polite. They were very quick with resolving my issue and provided a confirmation number. I was asked if I needed anything further. The process time was less than 1 minute. Great service!

I have 2 liens and didn't find either. Multiple errors in report. Won't refund. 1.99 to start for 7 day then 35 after. Customer service just trying to keep you on the chat forever. Gives run around for no reason.

The Property Rec's website makes it easier to get information as needed quickly. Albeit not all information is available online and with my recent experience having to submit a request for details, Mar was quick to answer, provided the information I needed to continue my project request. Having live support for these types of requirements and the convenience of internet communication makes every project much easier and enjoyable in dealing with the county.

The search records were very helpful. I was searching for a real estate transaction and needed background information on potential purchases. When I no longer needed the service, it was easy to cancel it.

I was searching for ownership change on a property my family used to own. I found Propertyrec.com and they had decent reviews and appeared legit. I was charged $120 and received less information than I found on Lee County, FL website. Total ripoff. I contacted them and they gave me the following bs explanation; We're a privately owned website and not affiliated with any government agency. Our information is sourced from public records, which may have limitations in accuracy or completeness.

I had a question about my account. Anthony was my customer service representative. He was phenomenal. It is not often these days that you come across an associate who is not only knowledgeable about their job, but also empathetic to your situation. He resolved my problem, explained to me what had happened, And why it had happened. Anyways, Anthony is not your average associate. If I owned my own business, I would happily hire him!

WOAH....I just had a very nice interaction with not one but TWO customer service representatives for Propertyrecs.com. I had bought 1 property record from them back in April. There is a button to press where you can get a one time document for $1. There are a couple of other options too, for bulk document buying, but it is clear that I marked clicked on the $1 option. The website says that they only offer one per customer. I got the document.

Do not use this site if you are searching for Property Deed. The service is information only with a charge of $20 and you are then enrolled in their monthly fee of $30. And the information is available for free in many online sites. To receive a Deed you must go to a County Recorder. BTW, Recorder stated she has heard of multiple people searching for a deed online and getting stung by this information site. On the positive. they were very quick to refund the $30 and cancel the ongoing charges.

Updated on 06/26/2025: I’m not going to change my review because of the trouble I had while in contact with this company. But I did receive a full refund after several phone calls and emails. And still would not recommend them.

I paid the $1 for the single property report I wanted. Nowhere did I see that there would be any additional charges. Then, a day later they charged me $30 for "multiple property report" access. I will have to contest this charge with my bank. Very deceptive. Also, the report was not complete and did not even answer my basic question.

I paid $7 for a PDF of incomplete property information. A week later, they quietly began billing $30/month without any notice or way to manage subscriptions on their site. You can’t log in to view or cancel—it forces you into live chat, where agents insist you “must have signed up by accident,” yet provide no proof you ever agreed to a recurring charge (no emails, no invoices, nothing). They emailed me a $30 invoice on June 6, claiming it covered my April service—despite already billing me $30 on May 1 and $30 on June 1. After I was transferred to another rep, they charged me yet again, leaving me $120 out of pocket for useless, incomplete data. Do not give these people your credit card.

I pulled a report from PropertyRecs.com back in August of 2024 for a charge of $1. In Jan. 2025 they were pulling $20 a month from my bank account. I reached out to them since I never authorized a $20 a month fee for their services. They did provide a report and it helped. When I reached out to them asking why without hesitation, they cancelled my account and refunded me. They were very helpful. I will follow up to see if they refund my $$. & keep you posted.

I used PropertyRec.com to try to get information on the correct property lines at my grandparents' home. I paid a dollar for the report knowing that I would be charged $20 a week later if I did not cancel. Although Information regarding the property lines was incorrect on the website. It was also incorrect at the tax assessor's office in my parish so I cannot fault Propertyrec for the incorrect information. What I can say is that when I wanted to get a refund of the $20, it was the easiest interaction I’ve ever experienced. They understood my issue.

Excellent summary of property and history. Good plot photo and area on map. Very helpful with understanding the current fair value price for the property. Could see that the current owners truly have occupied the home for decades. Surprise data included registered offenders residing in the area. I did not expect to see that but can be helpful and useful. I did need to contact support regarding technical issue and they were very responsive and provided immediate resolution.
