Propertyrecs.com? Awful. Notorious for tricking you into a subscription then refusing to cancel the account. I went online and paid for one report. Unknowingly, they connected that order to a subscription. I called to cancel. Customer service was terrible: bad connection, worse attitude. I was told the account was cancelled and I would receive a confirmation email. Email never came. Money was taken from my account again. Called again. Same rudeness. Same promise of a cancellation email. No email came. Just tried a third time. Same response. I've checked online and I'm not the only one with this issue. They are notorious for doing this.

Used to get a property report and the report was very detailed. It gave details I didn't even think about. I recommend getting this report. Also I had a misunderstanding in getting the report and the customer service was great. They took care of everything right away. Very easy to use.

First time user and I found all the information I needed and much more I didn't really need and was charged a dollar for this and more dollars for that. Know what you are looking for before proceeding or you will find yourself being charged more than needed. Cost adds up quickly. Make sure you close your account at the end of your purchase so you aren't charged in the future for keeping it open. I was charged 3 weeks later for account being opened but they did refund the errant charge. I used chat to get refund.

I recently opened an account with PropertyRecs.com. I got the information I needed. I didn't realize that in opening that account I was signing up for regular monthly charges. I was charged every 2 weeks...I never got any information that I didn't already know. I tried every way I could think of to find the lien holder on my property. I paid over $100 to find out that I had a lien on my property, I knew that. Now I have to go downtown anyway...ugh.

Mary was very helpful and responded quickly to my request. Very professional and pleasant. I identified an issue about charges which were not authorized in addition to ones authorized. She reviewed the case and made an adjustment and refund of the amount needed.

I was looking for information on a house we lived in years ago. There was a charge for the report, which I paid. But carefully not checking any subscription boxes.

I needed a property report and received a comprehensive report from this site. I did not need any more reports so I cancelled the subscription immediately. I received excellent customer service and was able to cancel the subscription with no problems.

There was a billing mixup, they invoiced me unknowingly on my end. When it was brought to their attention, they issued a full refund for the erroneous invoices. I'm happy with the outcome of this.

We found MyPropertyRecs.com through Google search. My husband and I easily found the property information and were able to download for a small fee. Great service as it gives you the info you want about properties! Be aware that browsers like FireFox may not show you the entire website as in ways to close your account or stopping recurring charges. I recommend Edge or using the online chat if things don't show up for you. I did and the tech who responded helped me out. Excellent customer service!

I guess I accidentally signed up for something I didn’t mean to, and I just saw it on my bank statement. I chatted with the company, and they were very efficient and friendly. I purchased a one time report for one dollar and ended up being charged $20 a month for over a year. I called customer service. They said that it automatically turns into subscription, and there’s no emails notifying you or anything like that. They just start charging. Watch out.

I noticed that I was being charged a recurring charge and only wanted to be charged for the one document. I could not find my account details listed under my account. Customer service was able to confirm what I paid for and canceled my account for future charges.

I went to the site looking for property info for a family member. They said $1 for one report. Ok no problem. We'll it's the end of February and $95 later. The website lists bundle prices and the charges I got were not even listed in those bundles, very strange. Reached out to customer service and Russel was able to help close my account (that I didn't even know I set up) and refunded all charges except the agreed upon $1. Hopefully that refund shows up on my account or I will have to report them for fraud.

HIGHLY DECEPTIVE!!! I have no idea why this site is reviewed so highly. Beware! It is NOT a government entity though it looks like it. They will create a report and then ask you for $1. Seems innocuous at that point. But that dollar is only to access the report. Once in it will show you various parts of the report asking at each point for more money. I spent $30 without knowing the costs were accumulating. But the worse part is that as soon as you give them your credit card number you are signing up for recurring payments of $10 every fifteen days! You will have to call them to cancel that subscription. Most people don't even know they have subscribed until they see recurring payments. These records can be found at the actual government site. It will appear later in your search. Go there instead!

Service was excellent however I was not aware that the package would continue to be billed at $5 a month. Only needed it for a one-time lookup (very helpful for that). Was user-friendly once I started my search and provided what I needed promptly.

I request some information to an address and got the report fairly fast. However there were a number of serious errors on the report. Two of the errors had to be sourced from a bank and the City. The next four errors must have come from the either the **, **, or ** but not from a qualified source.

When I no longer needed this service, they were exceptionally helpful in cancelling my package. I appreciate that very much. Many companies will put you through obstacles to cancel. To me, this shows a quality product!

I wish I would have known about your company back in 2024 when I hired a half witted management company to take me out of the loop. I moved more than 45 miles away and could not be burdened with the responsibility of managing the property. They spent money I never authorized! Had extreme trouble accessing their portal. It came to the point they were going to end the contract midstream because I became their worst nightmare. The one transaction I performed while enrolled with you was the easeist investigation I ever had to do!

Used this service to search a property that I was interested in for short-term rental. Signed up in early 2025 at the low rate. Rate increased in December 2025. Was surprised when I saw the rate go up but customer service rep refunded the charges right away when I used the chat. Happy to have used the service initially, but had to watch for the charges to increase.

PropertyRecs.com has no self service option on their website to close an active subscription account. This is disappointing. A customer has to interact either via email or chat window to have this issue addressed. Identity Access management is also provided via an email reset link instead of a username and password field couple with MFA.

I requested that my PublicRecord.Us paid subscription account be closed via the chat. Within a couple of minutes I received a confirmation number that my account was closed and future payments canceled. Thank you. Eileen K

I had a positive experience with Samantha. The customer service, even though it was AI-driven, was quick, friendly, and efficient. I appreciated that they processed my refund without any hassle. However, I was charged $20 per month even though I only used the website twice between October and now. I used the VIN search feature. PublicRecords.US is very helpful in providing a wealth of information that more costly VIN reports do not share. In addition, the chat feature provides additional information if you have questions about the information on the report. Overall, an excellent resource.

Very quick and helpful. The customer service agent helped me cancel any future billings within a minute. I just wanted to view one report and cancel the account or the billing so as to not receive more billings after that one report, and I was able to do just that. Make sure you pay attention when paying for a one time search. I was. Charged multiple times for a one time search. But was refunded one of the charges. Just pay attention to what you are agreeing to.

But it's a misleading business that signs you up for a subscription without clearly telling you or giving an easy way to opt-out. I had to call to get them to cancel. Which in the end was easy and they refunded the pervious month. But their methods are questionable and I will not use them again.

I was unsuccessful signing on to my account more than once. Each time it said I was sent a verification code, this did not happen and I requested a second one but was still unable to sign on. I called, was put on 3 min hold twice, and both times was disconnected by your phones. So, I decided to try Chat, to my surprise I was immediately connected, I have only used my account once but have been charged for each month (7 times). I only asked for a 3 month refund and account closed, granted without any hesitation. I wish I would have asked for another 3 months. Thank you. Tina

After I sent my reason for the search, I received another response telling me where I might obtain the specific information I sought. Started out annoyed, ended up garateful. A bargain at $5.

BE WARNED. This company uses some of the most egregious practices in business. They lure you in with a $1 charge to get a property tax record, then begin charging your credit card every two weeks. Moreover, they lure you in with the $1 charge to access the records, but then piecemeal it out so that you have to pay ever increasing charges to get the actual information you need. I called to dispute the periodic charges. "Sure," they said, "we will send you an email form, fill it out and we will refund you." Guess what. I have not received any emails from them. FYI, many counties/municipalities provide this information FREE OF CHARGE. Go directly to the county/municipality source. DO NOT REWARD THEIR UNSAVORY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
