I needed ceramic tiles replaced in my bathroom. I thought I had the correct tiles, but turns out I didn't. They did some prep work. Then we had to coordinate a time to come back. They finished quickly once they came back. They were flexible about the timing and came on a Sat afternoon.

I contacted Hersy through Porch. He came out to property and within a short amount of time our drainage issues in backyard were solved. He also assisted with contact to put down large patio stones. The backyard looks great. We would highly recommend him. He is professional, honest and does a great job.

We got our first response asking for help with the electric side of our issue regarding getting help installing a "mini split" heating unit in our house because my wife had had a heart attack and we needed better heat. They not only called that day but literally came the next day "Sunday" and did their part of the job. Outstanding work and dedication. Could not be happier. We thank them.

Contractors, you have to be diligent when dealing with lead companies. Porch takes pride in providing good leads, or refunding money for bad leads. This is a misconception, as I have had several bad leads over the past 3 months that they refused to refund. What I've learned is that Porch makes and changes rules about lead credits on the fly, without providing proper notice to those of us purchasing the leads, and all too often the customer service reps provide incorrect, conflicting, or erroneous information as to lead credit policies. I get screwed on average out of about $150 per month. And you might ask, "Why am I still using them"? Well I've used Thumbtack and all the others and realize that I can usually overcome that $150 drop when I win a job, but that doesn't minimize the fact that they are sharks.

SCC, LLC construction - This company was recommended by Porch and they have done an excellent job... Thank you for your service of recommendations of sources of help with various projects. Once again Thank You.

Scheduled appointment for visit so I could get estimate on handrails. Man came, took measurements. Was to call me with estimate. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from him. I would not recommend Porch to anyone I know.

Everything about my experience was great till my tenant called me to tell me that the door to the cabinet that was installed is falling off. Please call me to remedy this situation as soon as possible. I am not happy with this project.

I got to know the existence of Porch.com through Lowe’s. We booked 2 hours of service for prewired light fixture and fan installations on Oct 6. We had had similar service with a different vendor before and it took them about 2 hours to complete all the hookups. The Porch.com booking staff asked me to book 4 hours just in case the service went beyond 2 hours. On the day of installation, the electrician named Lucky arrived 1 hour late. Then he kept on receiving or making phone calls or text messages. It took him more than 2 hours to hook just 2 light fixtures which would take me less than 30 minutes to install. Then he just dragged on slowly.

He came out and saw the place. Used his tape measure to calculate square footage. After four days he said the square footage is more than he thought and wanted $400 dollars more to finish. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday he said he could finish by Friday. Thursday he said he wanted $400 dollars more and couldn't finish by Friday. I overheard them talking about another job they needed to go work on. I guess that's why they couldn't finish by Friday. Also, I should have done a background (criminal) check on him before giving him any money.

Vennie and Kaylin are a tremendous pair of young professional contractors! Their work was very high quality and they are such kind and considerate folks! They care about the client as a whole, not just the requested job at hand. They went above and beyond what many contractors do. We truly appreciate their considerate and thoughtful approach to their work!

Very professional and clean on his work. He help us on doing several things inside and also outside our home. He did some plumbing, assembly furniture, hanging shelfs, changing the whole system of kitchen lights, connecting a buffer in the garden, it was a lot and he did it all. Thank you!!!

Drywall was not done neatly. Retexturing doesn’t look like the original pattern. See attached pic. Top part of pic shows original texture and bottom was done by contractor from Porch.com. Disappointed!!! Would like it redone. It looks sloppy and more effort could have been taken by contractor to ensure it was done correctly.

The contractor I chose came to the house and texted me a quote the next day and we set up a day to start job. He was able to get the job done without me being there and he updated me on the progress. This worked great with my work schedule.

Come to my home. Unpack the microwave. Mount the microwave over the stove and hang it from the wall and cabinets from holes drilled. Cut out the port for the vent for others to install the vent piping. Cleanup and pack up tools.

They immediately booked an appointment when I contacted them, for a small but critical repair. Hours before it they called to cancel and stated they would not be able to do any work for me. They claimed they have no one hired within an hour of me, which is not believable as I am under an hour from the Albany, NY area. Essentially, they lied to me in the first place. Do not patronize this business.

Scheduled through Porch online, set a date and time which worked for me and was actually a quick turn around. Received a call to confirm but wasn't able to call back until the following morning. I was told that there were a few tickets pending for this project but that since I had not called to confirm the project did not have a contractor assigned anymore. I was given a phone number to call for 'escalated cases.' I called and explained what transpired and adamantly expressed a contractor for today, before 5 pm.

Winterized sprinkler system - Ortiz was on time, right on task, very personable, took the time to explain everything to us about our system, so in the future we will be able to perform the task ourselves. My husband had other jobs that he want to do in our yard and Ortiz took the time to look at the different jobs that we will want completed in the spring. Ortiz said he would draw up the plans on the different jobs and get back with us in the spring.

I called Porch about my leaking dishwasher. They sent my info to various repair facilities in the area. I answered a call from Dishwasher Installer.com. I explained what was going on with my leaking dishwasher. They said they could have someone out there the same day. They showed up, checked my dishwasher, told me I had a leak and then said they don’t repair dishwashers. Then I had to pay a $75 service call fee! I called Porch about the company they sent my info to and got the runaround from customer service.

Porch helped connect me to local companies who focus on wildlife removal. I put it a request near midnight and by the next morning, had a solid lead. About four days later, I received a followup communication from Porch and a personal contact to make sure that everything was working. I even received a $25 coupon for my next work order! Porch has absolutely fantastic customer service and was able to connect me with professionals in my small town area. I would absolutely recommend this service and will be using Porch again in the future myself.

I ordered a futon on Overstock that was on back order and requested assembly for it. Bernie from Porch contacted me immediately and we set up my appointment that day as I was relocating from L.A. to Atlanta. Fast forward to us speaking numerous times over the past few weeks as recent as everyday this week when I called on Monday to let him know the futon arrived sooner and asked if we could change the assembly date to sooner. He kindly rescheduled for someone to come today 11/15/18 at 11am. I happily agreed because I have out of town guests arriving tomorrow and told him this. I spoke to him twice yesterday 11/14/18 to confirm and received a text and email from him confirming as well.

We received an immediate response from our contact with Porch.com and the electrical work needed was done within two days. Kyle did an excellent job and we wouldn't hesitate to call him again and definitely recommend to any acquaintances. We're very glad we contacted Porch.

My Porch rep was great! He assembled the stools so quickly and was extremely courteous. He cleaned up every scrap of foam from the box and even tested the stools to make sure they were level and sturdy. It's like having a 2nd husband!

The handyman was very nice and knew his stuff. Even my little female kitty who usually hides came right up to him. I had a very positive experience. If I ever need anything else put together I will probably use Porch again.

Assembly of storage cabinets - The Representative arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He worked quickly and asked my preferences when necessary. The final product was great. The work area was left clean. I would recommend this service to others, especially seniors who may have a problem assembling bulky furniture.

Deck & Porch Resurface - Very pleased with the crew from James Reans Property Management. They kept me informed as the project progressed and were hard workers. The project had its share of challenges working on a log home but everyone persevered and the end result was a spectacular looking deck.

Power lift chair - The gentleman was very nice and put it together very well and quick. A little expensive for the service, but what are you going to do. I didn't want to ask my kids because they already do so much. Thank you.

Electrician - I am very pleased with the professionalism. Called to follow up. Was very cordial. Work was excellent. Did a wonderful job and the outcome looks great! Cleaned up afterwards. I am very satisfied with the work performed. I certainly would highly recommend.

Paul was super professional and friendly. They cleaned up everything and went above and beyond trying to make everything look good. When the door wouldn't latch to my crawl space underneath the deck, Paul created a door out of things I already had in my garage. He was also done an hour under the time quoted. I would definitely have them back to my home.

95% of the leads we received were bad leads, Porch.com should do a better job to making leads more specific, I just purchased a Lead and the customer told me that she wanted someone local, I told her that I was willing to travel the distance (35 minutes away) for the job and she said she wanted someone local and hung up, how is that my fault when I was willing to do the job and it was the customer choice to use someone closer to her? No where in the lead she did mentioned that, otherwise I would have not bought the lead.

I find this company to be unreliable in getting the job done. They will promise you and make you think they got the job assigned, even give you time and date. The job will start then the day before, they will send a text to tell you they didn’t find anyone. They have done this 3 times to my family. We cancelled all other contractors just to be told there is no contractor. Please DO NOT rely on Porch if time is of the essence to you. HomeAdvisor is the best option and they got your back too.

I asked for a quote on Facebook and described that I had bad patch job on my ceiling that I wanted fixed. The handyman came over and just mudded the ceiling and never finished the job. I just got a patch on top of a patch. The guy was nice but I was expecting a finished job. Is that weird? I want a refund for my money because now I have to hire another person to fix what your guy did and actually finish the job I hired you to do. I am very disappointed and regret that I cannot recommend Porch services in the future.

Rey ** does excellent work and very accommodating. However my payment experience turned out to be a nightmare. I asked Rey if I could pay cash. He said they typically only accept charge, but he will take the cash and use his card. I paid him cash and my visa was charged anyway. I just now contacted my visa and filed fraudulent use. They are issuing me a new card because of this major inconvenience with creditors etc.

Ours was not a huge job but Dan ** did a great job helping to install our dryer. I would recommend him to anyone. He was quiet but busy and didn't mind answering any questions that we had. It's very refreshing to a quality workman.

The job was clean and safe. The price was fair. I recommend Kenny Tree Inc. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently and friendly. The clean up was thorough with hardly a saw shaving left. They swept and blew all the debris into a large trash can and hauled every bit away.

I have used Porch twice to find people to do some home repairs for me. I was very pleased both times. The technicians were competent and professional. They did the work very quickly and charged a fair amount for their services. I now have Porch on my contact list and will continue to use their services.

The individual doing the work was very pleasant, well mannered and careful. He did not come with an array of tools and I supplied what he needed, but I would think all your workers would have a complete tool kit. The exhaust fan part of the microwave is not correct and does not blow thru the vent to the outside. Air just pulls thru the bottom and blows back out into the room. I provided the instructions that came with the microwave but it was clear he didn’t read it.

95% of the leads we received were bad leads. Good luck trying to get that refund on them! They say they will call you back, they don’t. They change their policies constantly with no warning. It got to the point where I have to call from a phone that isn’t in their system just to talk to someone. The site is up and down. It’s just a horrible company. They say that they are affiliated with Lowe’s - they used to be but even Lowe’s dumped them! Beware folks!!! Don’t waste your money!

Service on water heater. Tim and Alex are great. SAME DAY INSTALL! Great to work with. Very respectful. Wonderful job! Look NO further! Hire these guys! Do yourself a favor and use this service from these people they are the best! You will not be disappointed!

After riding the bike I purchased, that was assembled by one of your techs, it developed a snapping noise. I called and the same tech returned to check it out and determined it was a mechanical problem with the bike. The tech was very professional.

Concrete flooring - I was contacted within minutes of my information being added by Mario. He came and gave an estimate and was able to complete the job in a timely manner. He was pleasant, efficient and courteous. I plan on hiring him again! I was also impressed with Porch.com's follow up.

I was very happy with the services provided by Syed. I had him look over the jobs first so we could go to the store and get the right hardware etc. He went right to work and everything turned out awesome! I am very happy with his work. He arrived on time and was very efficient.

The Guys did an excellent job and were very professional and polite. They put my shed back together even better than it was before it was blown down by the storm. They wanted to make sure that it was stable before they left. I would definitely recommend this service.

Did not know they were delivering via UPS or I would have requesting regular truck delivery so they could have left them in the backyard. They are heavy and now we will have to have someone move them for us - a little disappointed with this. Our last delivery was perfect.

Repair on the roof support. The second time I called the company they explain that they were very interested in doing the work. They are a small company and never reject a job. That has been over 3 weeks ago. They never called back.

Set up security camera - The Signal LLC is fantastic, Dino came over and assess the situation, told me how much it would cost upfront and his workers did a fabulous job, I am extremely happy with the cost and unbelievable job. The Signal are experts at what they do.

My experience with this contractor and Porch was horrible. Not only was the pro an unqualified individual. Porch refuses to assist in the 500 dollars I provided this “pro” as a deposit for work that was not done. The individual was able to list abilities without Porch checking to see if this person was being forthcoming with the information. I made my decision based on the text I received from the contractor after he was provided with my phone number from the operators of the website. I was told that the “Porch guarantee” does not cover unqualified individuals that damage your property and take your money. This site is a fraud and the individuals on this site are substandard unqualified “pros”.

I can’t begin to express how disappointed I am with your service. Last Thursday I booked an appointment for a handyman. On Friday I made a phone call because I had not heard back from my request. I was told that I would receive a call within 48 hours. Monday morning a young man showed up at 10 o’clock to handle the jobs I had requested. Still without a phone call. He arrived at 10 and completed the work by 1:40 and I paid $249. The technicians started with the door sweep. He removed the door and had it laying on my living room carpet without any drop cloth and debris from removing old door sweep was collecting on carpet flooring. I offered a drop cloth and asked him to work off of it. Once the door sweeps was installed he took the drop cloth with him into the shower to remove old caulking and re-caulk the shower. I asked if he could also install a floorboard, which he did.

Assembled tv stand - We are thankful to Walmart for recommending Robert from your establishment. The payment and expertise of their worker was really exceptional. He was prompt and followed directions enclosed and worked quickly and expertly. We are greatly appreciated of services of Porch services.

I wanted removal of vanity, top and toilet so small bathroom could be tiled. New vanity with top and toilet installed. Tile was not straight. Toilet has broken flange which he says he did not do. Was messy in bedroom by bathroom and left spots on carpet. Did not have plumbers tape with him so did not use and we have leak under sink. He had to work at 5 p.m. because he had other job. Had to work late into the night (11:30 p.m) and barely got finished in the two days they had allotted. He was busy after this job.

I ordered the 3 wheel adult tricycle from Walmart online and requested that they assemble the bike for the fee stated $79.00. Porch contact me to schedule an appointment to have a someone come to my house to assemble the bike. On Wednesday October 24, 2018 they showed up and was surprised to see the bike (was still in the box). They were told it would be for an exercise bike that they do not assemble regular bikes of any kind. The contractor did attempt to assemble the bike and was able to put it together. He stated that he usually installs appliances but since he was told it was an exercise bike. If he had known it was a three wheel bike he would have not accepted the job.

I was very pleased with the work that was done at my home. The representative was very professional and personable. He went the extra mile in doing what had to be done in cleaning my gutters. A job well done.

The furnace repairman was friendly and very knowledgeable. I never felt like he was trying to sell me a new furnace. Chris made the repairs at a very reasonable price and in a timely manner. When my furnace needs replaced I will definitely call him again.

Outstanding and efficient. Our request was to assemble a dresser and headboard. We are totally satisfied and will recommend Porch to all our friends. The service includes so many household tasks. We are elderly and no longer able to complete hard physical tasks. Porch is the answer for us!

Install toilet and water turnoff valve - I cannot believe you charged over $800 to install a toilet and turnoff valve that I purchased. The task was accomplished at a a great overcharge. Get Real!! It was not worth the cost!! Most of us needing home repair are retired and not wealthy.

Had installation of fire extinguishers and cases at rental property. Your service guy was excellent, quick, knew what he was doing. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely use again, rating 15 not 10. Pleasure to work with him and your co.

Ask for a company to estimate for gutters. MSD was recommended and he was on time and communicated well and made great suggestions. The office - they called the same day and Stephanie was very friendly and helpful and the follow up was great.

Tim ** did a fantastic job (dethatching). Well mannered, polite and timely. Professional and friendly too. He brought his own equipment and cleaned up beautifully when he was finished. Yard is much healthier! I have already recommended PORCH to my neighbors. Thank you.

He did a great job hanging a large, heavy mirror in a short period of time. The quality of the work was great and I am grateful to have had the option to pay by card. I must say that I wasn't expecting to pay the full 2-hour starting estimate of $129 for less than 60 minutes of work. I was uncomfortable by how he complimented my appearance twice during the short visit and kissed the top of my hand when I reached out for a handshake goodbye. While it's likely it was meant to be a lighthearted and joking gesture, I hope you understand how that might make a woman home alone with a stranger uneasy and nervous.

I am a service provider, their leads are 80% invalid and getting your money back is a nightmare. So there I am wasting my time trying to get a credit and once you get paid then you will never get your money back. And you are stuck with them trying to get some good customers and calling them is not an option if you cancel. Save yourself some time and keep your money as this company will take your money and sell you services that you will regret hiring.

Installation of 2 light fixtures. One was in a two story foyer: Tony was on time. Introduced himself. He was delightful. He seemed very experienced in anything electrical. Very happy that this service was offered with my purchase from Pottery Barn. I love my new light fixtures. They add so much to a home.

Eddie ** was nice enough but the tile job was not completed to my satisfaction. Tile was cut with a snip instead of a saw which left a lot of uneven breaks. I'd asked for black grout and grey was used instead. After his first visit, I'd asked him to replace some of the broken tiles. This he did without any real difference to the breaks. Some tile was even crooked. After the job was finished, Eddie confided with me that he was working for Porch part-time. I'm going to a local tile store in Denver to have this mess removed and pay for new tile and, hopefully, a better installation contractor. I would not recommend Porch to anyone.

Lee was very helpful to us and had right skills for what we needed him for. Will have him do future work for us. He also gave us some helpful tips in other repair areas we will eventually do. While he was here he was courteous and cleaned up after himself and left no mess for us,

I went online seeking someone in my area to refinish some wood doors for my church. The website I found said it was in my city, and it was called woodstripingpros.com but all there was on the site was a contact form. There was absolutely no other information about this "company". For some reason, the person called the church even though my contact information was on the form. The name of that person's company was a paint store (?) but it turns out the guy did woodwork on the side. He wasn't even sure how he got the referral and mentioned it was most likely through porch.com. After meeting with me to see the doors, he gave a very thorough explanation of the work he would do and seemed very knowledgeable. But I never heard from him again!

I used Porch for over 3 month and spent over 1000 dollars. After trying many times to fix what actually not working, I gave up. After reviewing over 2000 leads, I had purchased over 100 of them. NOT a one lead I have purchased was valid. 9 out 10 calls, people denied ever requesting THE service. Porch policy of credit is a scam. 2 emails 1 phone call and 1 SMS is not enough to request credit, regardless of no CONTACT of any kind!!! It will take you to have full time person to work on those and keep track. Stay away from call services. 8 bucks a call, but people on the other line don't need your service. :( Time you spend on requesting credit, will make this service 3 times more expensive than anything else. I made thousands on YELP in 1 month after spending $800 and ZERO after spending $1,200 with PORCH.

I am a contractor, I signed up and deposited $350 to purchase leads. I have called every customer and not 1 out of the 10 customers even wanted work done. Porch has the worst leads I have ever purchased. I then tried to get my money refunded. Which should be easy, but nope. I have to wait for a specialist to call me and tell me how they will... Exactly. I spoke to multiple homeowners and none of them need work done. I had a guy verify his address and phone number, go to his house and it doesn't exist. I stopped by another house and spoke to the people renting the home and they don't have a clue why their address is on there and a name of a person who does not even own the home. CONTRACTORS SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Bahster was an excellent handyman. He did a fantastic job on everything I needed done: hanging ceiling fans, storm door and light fixture. He was very prompt and worked around my busy schedule. He did not mind working late to complete the job. I will definitely recommend Porch to others (specifically asking for Bahster).

Needed a storm door screen roller installed. Job completed. The first man that you sent completed the job very nicely. I will definitely use the site again. I had ordered the part and needed someone to install. Thank you, the gentleman did a great job.

Couple of landscape stones were left off. Clean up could have been better. Oil from truck leaked on driveway. Overall work on laying landscape wall was OK. Contractors worked hard to finish job in a timely manner. Would not recommend to a friend.

I listed a job on Porch.com. Asphalt Roof replacement and replacement of a skylight. The details will filled in using their forms for supplying info. What Porch does is send this out to people in your area that will pay for these "Leads." Porch indicates they pre-screen these people in some way or fashion. Anyway, here was my experience. I was immediately called by a company over 100 miles away. They asked some quick qualifying questions, when they learned I wanted a skylight replaced they said they didn't do that work and goodbye. (The skylight replacement was in the job description already.) Whatever.

I needed two large pines removed! Hurricane Florence destroyed my home and up-rooted a large pine. Excellent job and very far price! Nice hard working men! Cleaned yard up when finished, removed stumps and hauled off debris! I would definitely recommend this company to everyone needing any type of tree service. I was very impressed with the expertise of each member of the company and will definitely use them again if I need more trees taken down.

Man arrived at scheduled time of 5:00 pm, he was done at 6:00 pm. But I was charged for two hours. I was charged $118 dollars, I do not believe the hourly rate was $118 an hour, if I am wrong please correct me.

The workman who came out was very helpful on both occasions that he was here. I was very pleased with his work and his knowledge. I am pleased with both the skill set of the workman and the response time of Porch.

I requested help with a dishwasher installation. The handyman seemed friendly and knowledgeable, but my dishwasher wasn't installed correctly and now it won't drain. This isn't worth the $129 if it won't work right. I probably should have called Lowe's. I'm severely disappointed.

The company quoted $200. They sent two people that took 4 trips to complete the small job because they stood around doing nothing mostly. In the end they charged us double the hourly rate because they sent two people and the hourly job went from 200 to just under 2000. Don't bother calling the one person complaint dept either. Stay away from this company!!

Excellent job completed by Porch Services. I’ve saved their contact information and already referred friends and family. They were attentive, reliable, on time and completed the job swiftly and accurately. I am so happy to have them in my world now.

Repair toilets and replace door knobs. Great service. Very nice individual. Completed everything. We were very happy and intend to contact again because we want to replace 2 ceiling fans and two lighting fixtures. Looking forward. Great service. I would recommend you to anyone and was so happy to find you. You were recommended by an individual at Lowe’s and he gave you a great review.

Service person was prompt and knew what he was doing. He went and purchased the two smoke detectors (as I had bought the wrong ones). I had bought battery smoke detectors and my house required hardwired. All work was done with 25 minutes.

Vinyl fence repair done in a responsible time, professionally. Costs of repair was very reasonable. Most fence companies I called did not offer a repair. They ONLY do installs. Some of the Handymen via Angie's List and Home Advisors rate was $300-$400. Porch was a LOT more reasonable.

Kitchen sink - The technician, Bhasker, was very professional and efficient. He understood exactly the task at hand and got right on it. He was able to secure the necessary materials to complete the job with no undue delay. Completely satisfied with workmanship and fairness of charges.

Install garage disposal replacement - Repairman was on time. Installed in one hour. Very satisfied. Very pleasant gentleman who installed it. Person I talked to on phone to set it up was very helpful. Paying with credit card over phone worked well. Overall experience was very good.

I originally gave a good review but, was not too pleased as the first guy had dirty fingers left prints all over crystals and ceiling piece. He also was very messy but, just overlooked that. Then the next morning I noticed that the chandelier was not flush to the ceiling and was hanging down on one corner and looked uneven. I called Porch back and dealt with Brenda and I was okay at first as she had the same guy text me to see what the problem was. He proceeded to tell me that that is how these chandelier's hang and that if I want one to be flush and even I should buy a new one. I am sure Pottery Barn would like to this as that is where I bought it and they recommended we use Porch!

Septic & Sewer Solutions is the septic Company we went with for septic tank pumping. Porch services were the Most prompt, with Accuracy and Satisfaction. The Company they recommended did a nice clean up after they finished their work on the Septic Tank. I will use Porch again. I do recommend "Septic and Sewer Solutions". I would recommend Porch services to others.

The appointed time could not be done but a representative called and rescheduled the time. Man showed up on time and fixed our problem without having to replace the sink. Very nice, cleaned up and left the area cleaner than it was.

The electrical contractor came out and gave a free fast estimate at a for price. I will be hiring him again for other projects!! He was easy to work with and friendly. He showed up in a timely manner. I would like him to come back again!

The gentleman that showed up was on time, experienced and professional. We would not hesitate to hire him again in the future. He was surprised that I was using this patio furniture in our house. When he completed it, he was impressed with the picture I sent him after I rearranged it. Lol!

Power Team Handyman Services communicated with us before arrival. They were courteous and professional. They installed the ceiling storage shelving in the place I requested. They were done within the 2 hour framework. They cleaned up and disposed of the boxes and debris from the packaging. Checkout was easily accomplished. I could not be happier with my experience.

This is my second time using Porch service. The first time the person did what I needed but charged me $30 more then what I was told. This time I needed my kitchen backsplash put in. The man came but didn't finish and said he would come back the next day. I paid in full for the day (I was given the day rate and assured it would only take a day) which was a big mistake because not only did he cancel the next day and want more money under the table to finish the job, but he did not even call or show up on the rescheduled day. I called Porch service to complain and either get someone out to finish the job or give me my money and no one has called me to do either!

I had purchased a door and needed to have it installed. I contacted Porch and had a response within 30 minutes. A & A Doors and More contacted me, discussed the garage door, provided an estimate, date and time. I appreciate that the project would be completed in less than week. Art contacted me to advise he would arrive earlier than anticipated, which was acceptable. The garage door was installed, old door removed/hauled, and the clean up was all completed in a timely manner. A & A Doors were professional, timely, provided great customer service, and I would recommend them to family & friends. I am going to use them again for another installation of a second door.

Having a huge problem with residential house spiders and centipedes. Decided to try Porch to recommend a Pest Control Service. In less than 10 minutes after filling out some basic questions for Porch, I received a call from a Pest Control Company. Very courteous representative and able to come to our house the next day. Service representative showed up on time and was very pleasant. It has only been a few days but spider and centipede problem has been nearly eliminated.

Do not attempt to use this company - Porch. I wish I had read the reviews before I agreed to do a project with them to repair a broken file cabinet. Like so many other reviewers have stated, they never showed up. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. The person never showed up. No calls, no texts, no email, no show. On Monday, they called and left a voicemail about rescheduling. I called back three times, but only got a voice mailbox. They never called me back. This is the same story I have read in numerous reviews about Porch. They are completely unreliable. My advice is to look for another more reliable company. It will save you time and frustration.

I was very pleased with the gentleman that did the faucet repairs. He was prompt and explained all that need to be done. I would recommend him again. He also fixed other things that needed to be repaired at a reasonable price.

I loved using Porch and they found an EXCELLENT company for me! Very polite, friendly and fast service! Kings Lawn and Tree and David are the best! I called to have a tree planted and he picked the best tree and planted it for my daughter within a week. Thank you for your service!

Asked for help in finding someone to commit to snow removal. The request was posted and a company called the same day. The gentleman came out that afternoon, looked over the lot and we agreed on a plan. I signed the contract and paid for the season. Cost was exactly what I had expected/hoped it would be.

The technician did a great job. I was just disappointed that they did not communicate accurately about the use of gift coupons. I was under the impression I could use them towards my project. But in fact I could only apply $25 of the $100 I had. I was also charged for 2 TVs but could not use a coupon for each tv, just one for the whole project. It would have been smarter for me to have someone come out twice and do 1 tv per time. Unfortunately, I will be leaving $75 on the table because it doesn’t pay to have someone come out 4 different times. The people I dealt with were polite and the technician did a great job and explained things to me. I just wish the policy had been explained up front.

Was going to purchase a carport thru Lowe’s and they gave me this site to find an installer. When I used it, I never received a response from anyone, so I made my purchase elsewhere. Plus I saved a bunch of money.

I was extremely frustrated with the booking process for Porch. I booked a 2pm appointment, never got confirmation, and on the day of, was told it would be 5pm, and then the guy called me saying he was late. As I had an appointment at 7pm that night, and had taken off work, I had to cancel and reschedule my appointment for the next day. I did this directly with the guy who built my furniture, as the Porch person was completely unresponsive. I don't think I will use you guys again as I had to take TWO days off work for this.

We were contacted by three painters. Two out of our area. We went with one. He came over promptly and sent us a quote the next day. That was last week and said he would get back to us with a time frame.

Porch got me same day service when no one else I called would come. Some have yet to call back! I have already had a second visit and everything is under control. The company that came is the best. I'll definitely use it again!

I purchased the service through Walmart. Porch scheduled my service a week out. I put in to take off work to ensure I would be home for this install. The day before the installation, they called to confirm I still needed the service which I confirmed. They ended up calling back right before close of business and left me a voicemail stating they had a scheduling conflict and will not be coming. They had a week to ensure someone was available for my install and they called to confirm but yet they ended up having a conflict? Why was I the one booked versus the other customer? After talking to 4 different customer reps and supervisor, I was told they will see what day they have available and let me know.

I paid for his visit. He was timely and very knowledgeable. He said he would get me an estimate. Over a week has gone by and I have not received an estimate. Also, after a few days, I called the project manager and told him I had not received an estimate. Still I have not heard from the estimator or Porch. I would still like the estimate I paid for!!!

Storage Shed Assembly - There was supposed to be two installation people only one showed up. Tyrell ** showed up and did an amazing job without anyone to help him. He never once complained, just went to work. I would recommend your company to anyone that needs help with a project.

Everything went well. The serviceman contacted me, we set a time, he called ahead to give me time to get home and he fixed the problem. He did not leave a mess and he was very professional. I will use them again.

I was scheduled an 11 am appointment today, 10/7/2018. I called to check the status of the individual coming to my home, because I never received a courtesy call 24 hrs prior to my appointment. I was told the individual missed his flight back to Philadelphia, like it's my problem, and the supervisor would find someone for the project. Never happened. No one took responsibility to call me to cancel or reschedule the appointment. Totally unprofessional and misuse of someone else's time. Will never use this service again. Nor recommend this service.

Contractor is not reliable. Anthony did not show up when promised. Multiple excuses. He asked for more money before even putting in 2 days. He tried to do less work than promised (one coat rather than two, etc.). NOT worth the hassle - do not hire this man.

Porch helped me get utilities set up quickly by removing the research for me which saved a lot of time and frustration. And they have connections to services, with discounts, I will be needing now that we've moved in. Great resource and Ashley has been very responsive to my questions and a pleasure to work with. I am a contractor working out of Mobile, AL. I contacted Porch for a window replacement project, the contractor (and I use that term loosely) came out, gave me a price, received a 60% of the total job for a deposit, told me 7 to 10 days to get the window. After the tenth day I started to get the runaround, he left my job at a standstill for 4 days before I had to find someone else to do the job. I have contacted him several times to get my money back but it has been one lie after another. Just for a heads up the name of the company is TCS. AKA Frankie **.

Dan show up on time, very detailed explain what will be do on the job, and reasonable price for the service on my garage door wall console replacement, very satisfied! Definitely recommend this company to my friends. Soho garage door repair.

Worked with Shain **, Project Coordinator. The roofing contractor he set up did a great job. However, Shain didn’t coordinate well with the contractor, and we haven’t heard any more from him. We would like to speak with him.

On September 19, I was dealing with no water after a main water pipe burst. I needed quickly to have a plumber assess and provide an estimate. Within a few minutes of describing the problem on Porch's site, I had 3 companies calling me and one arrived within the hour. They did an excellent job at a fair price. I am very pleased with this service. Since knowing about Porch, I will cancel the home warranty I have been carrying. This service is not the same as a warranty, but better because of quick response and good companies.

Flooring estimate - Estimator did not provide a bid. It has been over two weeks. Late in arriving for estimate and did not have the courtesy to call. Said he would drop off samples and did not. Do not want to work further with this contractor.

Water seeping under my driveway was undermining it. J. ** cleaned the expansion joints and filled them with a putty substance. He did a thorough and neat job. He fixed my problem. I will recommend him to anyone needing his expertise.

Advanced Chimney Repair responded to my request for chimney repair estimate. We set up a "fix date" of Sep 24. Between 8 and 10. I drove up to my cabin, 30 miles one way, and got a call at 8:40 that they did not have the parts to fix the chimney. So they were going to fix it Sat 9-29; meeting time of 8:30. I waited till 10:30. Called ** twice; went to voice mail, called the Freeport no. ** twice. Oct 1, I got a call that they were going to work it in today from Freeport Exchange. (I missed that call, shower.) Called both numbers a few times, went to voice mail. Nothing happened! So now they owe me 7 gallons of gas!

Very knowledgeable. Was having a problem with a three bulb ceiling light that had a bad socket that would constantly short out the unit and trip the circuit breaker. I had been told several times to replace the light, but couldn't find a new one that would match the other lights. He worked with a spare socket from his truck and got me up and running again.

They really didn’t send me folks that do this stuff (staining cabinets/garage door, refinishing floors, siding) and have before and after pictures or references for these specific things. Also I asked for a GC and they sent me non-GCs. I called back again to let them know but got no New calls.

Door replacement - Joy and her employee responded quickly and fixed our problem very quickly and the work was first class. We are going to have her paint the whole house when we move. She is an asset to the business.

Thus far, the set up for the kitchen faucet replacement was easy. A call came from Porch and it was set up. The product was ordered, as was the installation service, through Walmart. I've received the product which looks great and it will be installed in a few days.

The Porch system was very responsive via email and text. Contractors began calling me within 24 hours. They were very responsive and set up prompt dates to give me bids for a new roof (Shingle roof installation) on a rental property garage -- **. (I gave you the wrong address so you may have it under **). I chose Integrity Roofing to do the job. They will begin on October 3, 2018.

Excellent Service and install will use them every time. I have more projects coming up and I won't hesitate to call L & E out of Warren Michigan. So professional and timely and friendly. I appreciate the service that Porch provided so I could locate and hire L& E. Thank you again for the connection.

Daniel did an expert job as the Plumbing Specialist assigned to me by Trusted Heating and Plumbing. Daniel knew what he was doing and he did it. I appreciated how he explained things to me as we went along, giving me the benefit of his opinion as he told me my options. His friendliness, coupled with his knowledge and skill, inspired my trust. My trust in Daniel was not misplaced. I am pleased to recommend him.

We have a HVAC with several issues. Overload on the electrical as well as other poor performance of the unit. We needed both diagnostic and repair. Our service experience was first rate and timely. Everything is working better than new because of other work was done that was not necessary but upgraded for today's needs. Once again, very impressed and happy.

Upstairs flooring replaced. We weren't happy with the people you sent. They didn't tarp or use dropcloth, had sawdust all over upstairs and downstairs. Had to call them back twice to fix defects. Just a bad experience and overpriced. I wouldn't use this service again.

Porch started out seeming organized and tech savvy, after I found them online and was able to receive a call/text/email to follow up and schedule my appointment for some yard clean up. After they called to confirm I took off work and made arrangements to be home for them to come. I then got a text and an email the following day saying that they don't even serve my zip code and the appointment was being canceled. So... Don't get scammed by them like I did... Thinking you are all set with the service and then find out they don't even serve your area. VERY unprofessional!!

They were extremely polite and did a wonderful job. I was satisfied with the quality of service at the two guys provided. They were excellent, very sweet and polite. Also they did everything they could to help me with getting water because apparently my water was shut off when I got there. They did a wonderfully great job.

As you can see in my last review of Porch, it has been a very unpleasant experience thus far, however, before I had completely given up, Greg reached out to me today and is really working hard to make it right (I am quite surprised actually). You are making an attempt to make things right on your end, and I in turn will not give up just yet. I am going to give it another chance, and see how things are handled in the future. Very professional company. They gave a detailed quote and did an amazing job. They always responded to my phone calls when I had a question. They have very reasonable pricing and I didn't have any surprise cost. We were not sure what type of countertop to select and they were very helpful in helping us make a decision.

Got everything accomplished and then some. Will definitely use this service again. I've also used Porch for my interior paint project and was pleased with the results. Unfortunately; however, I've been unable to get electrical work done through this service.

Shawn at Network Pros did a fantastic job at screening in the deck, couldn't be happier. He lives in the Kerr Lake area and we are glad he called us back. If you're in the Clarksville VA area. It is hard to find someone up here that will even show up but he will and he will treat you right.

My rating is for the actual handyman and his work. He was professional, showed up on time and did an awesome job. My floors look better than they ever have. He is a 10+++. Porch itself and communication process is not user friendly. They call or write through 'assistant' and I could never call and speak to parties at Porch who were leaving me messages. On 3 occasions my calls to them were not returned. They need to work out the kinks on the back office functions. The Handyman, Patrick, made this company look great! Because of him, I would engage them again.

Shane is not a plumber and did not install the faucets correctly. I had to pay someone else to fix them. I am not happy about that. He also promised to come back next day to finish the repairs and left his ladder. Didn’t show up or call for 5 days and at that point I didn’t need his help.

Furniture assembly - Marvin, the Porch representative, arrived on time and got straight to work and was done very quickly. He was pleasant and professional. I would definitely use Porch services in the future and recommend them to friends and family. Had I done my own assembly, it would have taken a couple of hours in the heat. The services were worth every penny.

I highly recommend Groovy Movers! The guys (Avery & Arturo) were so fast, while being so careful with our stuff. They were so helpful and had such great attitudes - it made the experience so much nicer! Almost fun :). I will definitely call them again for my bigger move. So glad Porch was able to guide me to such a great resource!

I had never heard of Porch, but they came up when I did a search for handymen. They were very responsive about my inquiry for help - courteous, helpful, price seemed right. We scheduled a handyman come out a couple days after this phone call. I received an email each day leading up to the appointment...all the "pre" work done by Porch was very well done. The day of the appointment, the arrival time of 11:30 came and went, and at 12:30, I called them to see if someone was coming. The person I spoke with had no idea of my appointment, nor what services I had requested. He said he would get the information to my Porch Project Coordinator, who would call me back. After over an hour (2 hours after the scheduled appointment time), the Project Coordinator called to say the scheduled handyman could not make it, and they had no one else who could come in his place. Needless to say, I do not recommend Porch for handyman services.

Porch was great when finding contractors to call. Unfortunately the contractor we selected was dishonest and did substandard work. He quoted 3 days for completion, but didn't start the project for 3 weeks. The addition where attached to the existing structure leaked when it rained. He used wet, moldy OSB and said there was no problem. Placed a door on the wrong side of the building. The structure was not tied to the existing building (hurricane straps?). Our property was left a mess everyday-pop cans, cigarette butts, nails and scrap materials. No communication when they leave for the day. We expect them to return the next day, but usually not the case. He begged for money giving some sob story, even though the contract stated partial pay (large amount) up front and balance due upon completion we were happy with.

We are a home improvement company, signed on with Porch for nearly one year. Nearly all of the leads were either bad contact info or those I reached were not interested in a project and had never heard of Porch, nor had the viewed the Porch website. One gentleman whom I did reach said he was a nursing home resident and did not even own a computer. One did not own a home, most of the rest of the leads did not respond to multiple contacts by telephone and email, and several phone numbers were not in service. I canceled my membership and was told I could not get a full refund, only credit as the money had already been spent. Well, it was my money, and it was spent on bogus leads. I have asked them to provide me with a copy of the contract, as I was told I could get a full refund, not a credit to purchase more bogus leads. I will not be returning to Porch in the future.

Recently purchased a new dishwasher and went to Porch to be linked with a technician to install it. Received prompt emails and texts, set up a time on that Saturday and all was confirmed (process was very easy). Unfortunately no one ever showed. There was no live person to talk to about the no-show so I had to email and text. Received follow-up on Monday apologizing and offering to reschedule anytime on Tuesday, set it up for 10:00 am. Another no-show then lots of apologies, offering to come in the afternoon but at that point, I canceled because two no-shows is too many.

Roof Moss Removal - Contractor was only one to respond with a non-destructive cleaning method. All others offered pressure washing and/or stiff bristle brushing. Added options of gutter exterior cleaning and application of anti-moss treatment with three year warranty were added pluses. Glad to have one prospective contractor providing these features.

Roberts remodeling did a great job and offered a very good price. Arrived immediately and did even more work than asked or paid for. I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors. I am also very satisfied with the service provided by Porch.com.

Porch.com sent me 'pro' to install outside drainage for my home. This 'pro' destroyed my yard left unfinished work did a horrible job on my walkway that I now have to pay someone else to fix and I'm out of $3600+. The pro cannot be contacted and Porch.com did nothing to help me. This Pro that they sent is not licensed and hasn't been for years and is still stealing from people using their C as if they were. WHAT'S WORSE, Porch.com recommended a 'pro' THAT'S A SCAM ARTIST AND A THIEF having several telephone numbers and several business addresses that are not legitimate. Porch claims they do background checks on their pros. How could they have possibly done so without having any valid contact information when I searched and found out that the company has not been licensed in several years.

I had received a new ceiling fan as a wedding present, and knew I'd need to find a good electrician to get it installed in my home. Porch made it easy to get connected to local service providers. The electrician they matched me with was fantastic: good communication, easy to work with and get on their schedule, on time, and competitively priced. I will definitely use Porch again for other projects around my home.

I was extremely busy with moving and needed some furniture to be put together before Monday. I called Porch Friday morning and asked if they could have someone there today. The guy I spoke with said, "Yes" and "We will have someone there at 5:00 PM." At 5:00 PM that evening I sat around until 6:00 and called. They informed me then that same day service was not guaranteed. But the guy in the morning had never informed me of that. OK FINE. So I rescheduled for the following evening so I could get more work done. The following day I called in the morning to CONFIRM someone would 100% be there and they said, "Don’t worry. "We will have someone there at 5:00 PM." Again at 5:00 PM I waited and no one so around 5:20 PM I called and they said that the handyman checked off that he was on location and should be there in a matter of minutes.

Donald ** is the worst landscaper I have ever dealt with. He took my down payment, did not complete the job and lied every text he sent me. I will now need to sue him to get my money back and also pay to have someone repair his mess. Porch was not helpful in resolving my issue. I will not recommend.

The people you set up were great. I am having both of my projects are getting done. I will get back with you when they are done. The people that I picked are great, they took their time to explain what was going to happen and when they could get it done.

I am very upset with this company!!! I never got my kitchen cabinet door back. It has been a month he took the door. I have called into the company three times and have gotten nothing but a runaround.

Chain link fence installation, around 77 foot of fencing. I was connected to Innovative Maintenance & Remodeling LLC, which I would highly recommend. I received emails indicating I'd receive several offers, but only received one. I was told by Porch.com that several contractors would contact me within the hour. I don't think I initially heard from anyone for a few days. I kept getting emails from Porch.com asking how things were going. I did end up using the contractor I received through Porch.com but the timing of emails from Porch.com and activity that was actually happening was not accurate. I think I expected to have more estimates through Porch.com due to what the emails were telling me but did not.

I contacted Cruz Tree Service through Porch and was very happy with the whole experience. Highly recommend Cruz Tree Service for felling trees to restore our view. They have an amazing work ethic and are very nice to deal with.

We booked The Original Painter, Jose **, through Porch.com to paint the interior of our kitchen and dining room. He responded quickly. He came out to provide an estimate and then again with paint samples for us to select, after which he and his wife worked over a holiday weekend to complete the job in three days (four days ahead of schedule)! They were very polite, professional, and accommodating. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a painter. He also gave us an estimate for other rooms as well as the outside of our home. We will be using him again!

Out of eight quotes, Pastrana Pro's was the best. Danny took me around my building to see what might take extra attention before the painting began. When the job was done, it showed the extra care Danny at Pastrana Pro's was very professional & helpful. They did a great job with a smile and at a fair price.

Needed a dishwasher installed. Guy came and started the job. Said "I need more materials from Home Depot, Porch will charge you for the ride out for materials and an extra hour. They aren't gonna give me any of that money. You need to make this right for me. I'm putting in extra time and won't get paid for it because Jesus won't answer my call to add more services to the bill. They've shorted me before and I won't work for free." If I don't pay through Porch.com I lose my warranty coverage for the work. Now I have to pay for a dishwasher half installed because they treat the "professionals" badly and I still have to find someone who's gonna charge me just as much to come finish the job. He was right. They were dodging his calls. Answered when I called but pretended they couldn't hear me when I started explaining the problem.

Carpet squares laid in January of 2018 were coming up in June. The guy laid the squares over linoleum and told me it would be fine and would actually cushion the floor. I didn't know so I went with it. My research said the used squares would reinstall just fine. The guy got cash from me to buy glue. He refused to work the 8 hours I paid for. When the squares came up I contacted the bank but I was just over the 6 month line. The bank got on the phone with me to call Porch. I received a promise that and manager would return my call. No one did. When I call back the record of my transaction had mysteriously disappeared.

Concrete step repair - Chris ** of Fresh Cut and Bethlehem Blacktop did the work, which was done to my satisfaction. Very happy with the job and workmanship. The job was done and completed within one day. Everything was explained to me about the project and again I am happy with the results.

What Porch.com doesn't tell consumers is, they CHARGE professionals money to get your lead, whether you give them the job or not. They also pit pros against each other, with multiple people submitting bids on your request. Porch offers NOTHING you can't find on your own with a Google search; all they do is try to suck money out of the system. This results in reduced profit for the contractor and over time, leads to increased prices for everyone. The minimum fee Porch charges the pro is $35, even if it's a small job that costs 70 or 80 bucks. My advice is to contact potential service providers directly. It will be faster and more efficient, you can get a better feel for the company by speaking to them personally, and no one is stuck dealing with a "middleman". And just fyi, most of these home referral services operate in this deceptive manner. The exceptions would be Angie's List, Yelp and Houzz. (They charge pros to advertise, but not to get leads).

Did not show for appointment- the workers did not come to my house to do the job. No one called either. I do not know why they did not come. The email notice said they were coming at 10 AM. I waited until 1:00 but they did not arrive. I called, and when I reached someone they said they would get back to me but never did.

Order was passed to a 3rd party contractor who failed to show up, did not provide an explanation. Credit card was required and charged by Porch, and was told by Porch that they had no responsibility for the 3rd party's contractor failure to provide paid for service. I had to file a charge dispute with credit card company.

Agent was prompt, next day service. Install was fast and accurate. Courteous workers. Satisfied. Goodman is Amana Manufacture also, something I did not know at the start. Midline cost at the same quality as High end units. Slept well after 5 nights without Aircon.

Tyronne did a great job and really came through for me on my painting project. I enjoyed working with him. He showed up on schedule and gave a strong effort each day. He was especially good on painting baseboards! They look beautiful.

I had an 11 am appointment scheduled today for someone to come build my furniture. They never showed up without a cancellation text or call, just a no-show. So I contact Porch services and they ask if I am available at 3 pm for someone to come and I said yes. 2:30 comes around and I call to confirm if someone is coming and they said yes. Then at 2:55, someone calls and says they are unable to make it. I told them I still need this project done today like it was supposed to be, so they said they’ll try and then follow up. An hour later I still have not heard from them and have been on and off the phone with this company all day. Very unorganized and unprofessional, I am disappointed with this service and will NOT be recommending it to anyone I know. I am very busy and this back and forth cancellation has messed up my schedule for the day. I will be requesting discounted services.

RUN! Nothing shy of horrifying. I engaged their 'pro' to complete a simple power washing/staining job. This 'pro' destroyed both my brand new deck, porch, siding, bbq, driveway, etc. WHAT'S WORSE, Porch.com recommended a 'pro' THAT'S A SCAM ARTIST having a fake address, invalid phone number, bogus websites that don't offer phone numbers or business addresses, a disabled Twitter account, etc. Porch claims they do background checks on their pros. How could they have possibly done so without having any valid contact information?

I was referred to Porch by an employee at a large home improvement store. I contacted Porch and received a quick reply and set up my service. The day arrived and no one came. No call, no text, nothing. I called my Porch contact and was assured this never happens. No worries, I said, and we set up another appointment. That was also a no-show. Although the person I spoke with was courteous, the service utterly failed to provide what I needed. Twice. For the same job. Gonna be difficult to give them another shot.

The electrician never showed up! Plenty of calls and emails from you all but nobody ever showed. I called but no one seemed too interested. They wanted to make another appointment which was unacceptable. I finally just called a local electrician who showed up promptly and did a great job. Definitely will not use Porch again.

Through Porch.com we located Clint Boyle Masonry. Within a week of his bid, the project was started and completed in 3 days. He put up scaffolding, removed seven layers of damaged brick, installed two pots, sealed and painted the new bricks. He was professional, and someone we would highly recommend.

I thought they were a good company so sought out they help in hiring someone to remove a tree in my backyard. They had Dayzion's Landscaping contact me so I hired him. He requested a $900.00 deposit for the $1800.00 job for the lift. He had he said his brother with him Ortiz Landscaping also with Porch.com because I requested he have insurance and he was the one with insurance. They took my money and never came back and ignored me later on. So did Porch when I called and texted them. I am a disabled vet and they all took advantage of me.

I needed to have a floorboard repaired quickly for a home I was selling. Tom did an excellent job. Fair price, fast service and quality job. I will surely use T&A again for my future remodeling needs. Thank you!

Julio arrived on time, he worked hard to get the hedge trimmed. We also worked out the details for him to trim our lavender and salvia plants, both of which really needed trimming. After trimming the bushes, etc. He also fixed some sprinklers/drip-system for the flowers and roses, now they work like a charm. Very pleased with his work.

Tenants shower faucet was broken off, technician came the next day, even went to Home Depot for the part and the entire bill was less than $80. Tech was courteous, efficient and wasted no time. I'm thrilled to have found this site.

I had a leaky kitchen faucet removed and a new one put into place. The job was finished in the allotted time frame. Plumber had to return to tighten connection because of a leak. The new faucet works great now.

Disposal replacement. Whole experience was painless. New method of payment was new to us. Installer showed up on time and was very nice and efficient. Scheduling a repair online was new to us. Will keep PORCH phone number handy for future use. Thanks also to the Lowe's employee for giving us the information for PORCH.

Front door restoration. The overall experience was very good. The quality of the work performed was outstanding. The door looks brand new and we have received numerous compliments on the looks. The owner Robert was a very nice man and acted professionally. I would recommend this company to a friend or family member.

Contractor was on time, did good job, cost did go over estimate. Booking was a mess. 2 different agents told me different things, "This job needs 2 persons, no it needs 1", "This will be $79 for 1st 4hrs, no, it will be 79 for 1st 2 hrs." "There's nothing in the system, let's redo the appointment." "You have 2 conflicting appointments!" and on and on. 1hr to make a booking. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. 1st try didn't send me a confirmation and 2nd agent saw no appointment, yet some agents and contractor could see 2 appts. Afterwards, I received several follow up calls, none of which I understood the reason for the call. Could easily have just emailed me the name of the contractor. Total 6 calls to book one appointment. So the work was fine, just getting the appointment was tiring and confusing and not reassuring.

Porch professional assembled two pergola, he was knowledgeable and worked hard to get them both put together, it seemed expensive but they look nice other than one spot where the nail missed the wood and splintered an area. I'm happy with the experience. I will probably get another pergola for the backyard and call Porch.

I had an appointment scheduled at 9 am. The original person got lost and was more than an hour away letting me know at 10 am... and the office was confused and he decided to cancel on me. New guy came later that the office sent. The backup contractor was great, everything else was a mess.

When the toilet flushed, the water continued running. Kevin came & replaced the internal workings, & initially it flushed & worked correctly, until it didn't. When I flush now the water does not turn off unless I jiggle the handle. Sometimes it been running over an hour & on occasion, I've had to turn the water off at the wall. I called a couple of weeks ago to report the problem. I spoke to a girl & never heard back from anyone. Today, I contacted Porch again, talked with someone named Xavier. He was very nice & said someone would contact me soon. So we shall see.

I had a wonderful experience with Porch Services. They assembled 4 pieces of furniture for me. Karen took great care in assembling them. One of the drawers was sticking a little and she took the extra time to make sure it worked properly. I will gladly use Porch Services when I need more furniture assembled in the future.

Christopher was awesome! He had to come out twice because the delivery company did not leave the screws he needed to assemble the bed. I called him when they were delivered and he came right out and did a fantastic job! Very professional! Great experience!

Tech was on time and very professional. Finished the job in record time. Tech left no mess. He cleaned up everything before he left! Tech did everything right including calling before he can to the house. I will use your services in the future for any projects I have.

I have already emailed asking for a manager. The job the handyman did was Horrible. Holes left in our wall, TV mount not properly secured, wall mount coming out when we placed a tv on it. Didn't have the right equipment when he arrived. Quoted 129 and ended up being over 200 for screws and nails.

Install Security Lights - The jury is still out. Overall a great job. However one of the lights have no power. Contacted Porch over a week ago to have someone come out and recheck the wiring job. As of yet no reply. It’s hard to give a good recommendation based on this.

Michael did a great job, he went above and beyond for this project. Definitely a 20 stars out of 10. On a different note from the tech, I have only one gripe with porch and is the lack of technicians in my area.

Install Ironing Board Cabinet - The Technician was quite capable. However, when he was finished, he said that I owed $318. I had an estimate of $159 and paid him that. You should clarify estimates and charges or I will not use your services again.

Good experience with company's communication and the worker, Daniel. The price was right but there was concern that it was almost double. That's the only negative - this two-tiered pricing. But you folks realized that you were sending two employees and I ended up with only one, so it took longer. But he did a superb job.

Honestly, I didn't know where to begin locating a house painter, but I had kept a Porch.com leaflet from 2015 so you were my starting place. My experience was awesome, once I input my property specifications, I was immediately contacted via email by 5 companies! One company stood out because I'd seen their flyers previously, plus they happened to be listed in that 2015 leaflet, so I called them first. We made an instant connection, had an appointment scheduled within 3 days for an exterior proposal and I accepted that offer a week later.

Terra Landscaping did a great job for me. The owner was available to do the work promptly and finished in about a week. He responded to all my requests and design input. He even had some great ideas of his own. I am very satisfied!

I was assigned by Porch.com a contractor to do a simple Oven Microwave installation via Lowe’s. The contractor not only did not install the oven microwave in the kitchen correctly...but caused a FIRE Hazard and Water damage to house (kitchen and basement) by cutting into a water pipe in the bathroom behind the kitchen. The contractor was totally unprofessional and poorly trained. Looks like Porch picks up people from the street without vetting their work, professionalism. This is dangerous.

Someone accepted my assignment to pull weeds then cancelled on me not long before he was supposed to come. Said I needed a "professional." Who does not know how to pull weeds?!? I will probably not use Porch again after this experience.

Nobody ever called back in response to my request for an electrician to install an area to plug in for a pond we are installing. I talked with someone from Porch that assured me that someone would call. The job has been completed without Porch help.

Great response on calling me back. Only had 1 business that called and we discussed the job and she was going to check with her husband about when to give us an estimate. She was pretty pusher about just wanting to do it that day and when I told her we were just at the stage of getting quotes, she never called back and I've not heard anymore from her.

Ruby was prompt and professional, after arriving she explained then showed me what she was doing. After examining the HVAC on the inside, she then went outside to inspect and service my unit. Again she explained what she would be doing by checking the FREON level and then installing more and the amount she installed. She also recommended installing a liquid sealant that could help the longevity of the system and the FREON install!
