    Contractors, you have to be diligent when dealing with lead companies. Porch takes pride in providing good leads, or refunding money for bad leads. This is a misconception, as I have had several bad leads over the past 3 months that they refused to refund. What I've learned is that Porch makes and changes rules about lead credits on the fly, without providing proper notice to those of us purchasing the leads, and all too often the customer service reps provide incorrect, conflicting, or erroneous information as to lead credit policies. I get screwed on average out of about $150 per month. And you might ask, "Why am I still using them"? Well I've used Thumbtack and all the others and realize that I can usually overcome that $150 drop when I win a job, but that doesn't minimize the fact that they are sharks.

    I got to know the existence of Porch.com through Lowe’s. We booked 2 hours of service for prewired light fixture and fan installations on Oct 6. We had had similar service with a different vendor before and it took them about 2 hours to complete all the hookups. The Porch.com booking staff asked me to book 4 hours just in case the service went beyond 2 hours. On the day of installation, the electrician named Lucky arrived 1 hour late. Then he kept on receiving or making phone calls or text messages. It took him more than 2 hours to hook just 2 light fixtures which would take me less than 30 minutes to install. Then he just dragged on slowly.

    My husband and I could not stand it, so we helped him installing 3 lights/fans. After those lights were hooked up, it was already 5 hours and one more pendant light to install. I thought he would finish in 20 minutes, but he literally dragged on for another 2.5 hours. In the end, he spent 9 hours altogether and charged us 7 hours $699 for the 10 light hookups. A 2-hr small project was turned into 7 hour almost a whole day project. Complete rip off! What’s more our granite countertop was drilled many small holes by the electrician. We spent another $200 to get them repaired.

    When I complained to Porch.com via email, no response at all for 8 days. When I sent them a follow up email, the manager told me she was out on sick leave and would call me later. Then no phone call or email follow up from Porch.com for another 3 days. I called a few more time and was told (lied) each time again they would call me back. No one has called me even once since a month ago. After this terrible experience with Porch.com, I would warn everyone to stay away from Porch.com. Bad service and even worse customer service.

    He came out and saw the place. Used his tape measure to calculate square footage. After four days he said the square footage is more than he thought and wanted $400 dollars more to finish. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday he said he could finish by Friday. Thursday he said he wanted $400 dollars more and couldn't finish by Friday. I overheard them talking about another job they needed to go work on. I guess that's why they couldn't finish by Friday. Also, I should have done a background (criminal) check on him before giving him any money.

    They immediately booked an appointment when I contacted them, for a small but critical repair. Hours before it they called to cancel and stated they would not be able to do any work for me. They claimed they have no one hired within an hour of me, which is not believable as I am under an hour from the Albany, NY area. Essentially, they lied to me in the first place. Do not patronize this business.

    Scheduled through Porch online, set a date and time which worked for me and was actually a quick turn around. Received a call to confirm but wasn't able to call back until the following morning. I was told that there were a few tickets pending for this project but that since I had not called to confirm the project did not have a contractor assigned anymore. I was given a phone number to call for 'escalated cases.' I called and explained what transpired and adamantly expressed a contractor for today, before 5 pm.

    Porch had canceled my reservation for the work order. Subsequently received a scheduled time for 5 pm on a Friday night, I suppose this is better than the rescheduled time was offered first for Sunday morning. (This is not a household but a medical office.) Needless to say, their scheduling and tracking system is poor for this type of service industry and my complaint is not an isolated event. I will be working late on a Friday night just so as to make sure this project is complete because of this company's lack of adherence to a schedule, respect for a completed reservation by the customer and Porch randomness to provide resolution to a problem - multiple phone calls, multiple representatives, not listening to customer.

    I called Porch about my leaking dishwasher. They sent my info to various repair facilities in the area. I answered a call from Dishwasher Installer.com. I explained what was going on with my leaking dishwasher. They said they could have someone out there the same day. They showed up, checked my dishwasher, told me I had a leak and then said they don’t repair dishwashers. Then I had to pay a $75 service call fee! I called Porch about the company they sent my info to and got the runaround from customer service.

    They said since it wasn’t one of their techs, they won’t reimburse me the $75 fee I had to pay. I continued to ask for a manager until I finally got someone. They continued to say the same thing. I told them they sent my info to this company, I didn’t seek them out. I asked if there was anything else they could do for me and again as told no! Very poor customer service and horrible quality control on the techs your company is sending to people's homes! Never using Porch again!

    I ordered a futon on Overstock that was on back order and requested assembly for it. Bernie from Porch contacted me immediately and we set up my appointment that day as I was relocating from L.A. to Atlanta. Fast forward to us speaking numerous times over the past few weeks as recent as everyday this week when I called on Monday to let him know the futon arrived sooner and asked if we could change the assembly date to sooner. He kindly rescheduled for someone to come today 11/15/18 at 11am. I happily agreed because I have out of town guests arriving tomorrow and told him this. I spoke to him twice yesterday 11/14/18 to confirm and received a text and email from him confirming as well.

    Needless to say, today was the day and yep, 11am came and went, 11:15 came and went so I called Bernie who all of a sudden became clueless and told me he “just does the scheduling” and that he would transfer me to the project manager Frank as well as contact him on my behalf. I got Frank’s voicemail twice and after no returned call by 11:30, I called Bernie back and was told “I just do the scheduling. Let me transfer you to our customer support” and he did. I then spoke to Armando who said he’s get in touch with the handyman directly and call me back since Frank hadn’t responded. He called me back around 11:50 and said he apologizes for the inconvenience but it looks like my initials handyman had a truck issue but he could send George out at 1pm. I agreed and asked if he’d be giving me a discount for this inconvenience.

    He then told me they had already given me a discount from $129 to $99 per hour. I told him, “that’s funny because Bernie told me the job was $89/per hour and now you’ve just given me 2 different prices.” He then said, “I’m not sure how that happened but I’ll go ahead and honor the $89 price.” I said ok and got off the phone and immediately searched for a handyman in my area. I found a great one for $25 per hour on TaskRabbit and called Porch back and text Bernie to tell them no thank you for their 1pm handyman or any business with Porch ever again. I will also put this review on Overstock. Beware. They are not as professional as they sound to be and apparently, they make up their prices per support person.

    95% of the leads we received were bad leads, Porch.com should do a better job to making leads more specific, I just purchased a Lead and the customer told me that she wanted someone local, I told her that I was willing to travel the distance (35 minutes away) for the job and she said she wanted someone local and hung up, how is that my fault when I was willing to do the job and it was the customer choice to use someone closer to her? No where in the lead she did mentioned that, otherwise I would have not bought the lead.

    Good luck trying to get that refund on them! When you sign up they never tell you anything about the phone leads which basically they have people leaving voicemails for jobs that you don't even know if you want to take on and because they left a voicemail now they charge you for it and guess what? They won't refund it because according to them the lead was good, it should have been my choice if I wanted to take on the job or not, so make sure if you sign up have them disconnect the phone leads since the get-go because you will not get your money back. Don’t waste your money!

    I find this company to be unreliable in getting the job done. They will promise you and make you think they got the job assigned, even give you time and date. The job will start then the day before, they will send a text to tell you they didn’t find anyone. They have done this 3 times to my family. We cancelled all other contractors just to be told there is no contractor. Please DO NOT rely on Porch if time is of the essence to you. HomeAdvisor is the best option and they got your back too.

    I asked for a quote on Facebook and described that I had bad patch job on my ceiling that I wanted fixed. The handyman came over and just mudded the ceiling and never finished the job. I just got a patch on top of a patch. The guy was nice but I was expecting a finished job. Is that weird? I want a refund for my money because now I have to hire another person to fix what your guy did and actually finish the job I hired you to do. I am very disappointed and regret that I cannot recommend Porch services in the future.

    Rey ** does excellent work and very accommodating. However my payment experience turned out to be a nightmare. I asked Rey if I could pay cash. He said they typically only accept charge, but he will take the cash and use his card. I paid him cash and my visa was charged anyway. I just now contacted my visa and filed fraudulent use. They are issuing me a new card because of this major inconvenience with creditors etc.

    The individual doing the work was very pleasant, well mannered and careful. He did not come with an array of tools and I supplied what he needed, but I would think all your workers would have a complete tool kit. The exhaust fan part of the microwave is not correct and does not blow thru the vent to the outside. Air just pulls thru the bottom and blows back out into the room. I provided the instructions that came with the microwave but it was clear he didn’t read it.

It got to the point where I have to call from a phone that isn’t in their system just to talk to someone. The site is up and down. It’s just a horrible company. They say that they are affiliated with Lowe’s - they used to be but even Lowe’s dumped them! Beware folks!!! Don’t waste your money!

    My experience with this contractor and Porch was horrible. Not only was the pro an unqualified individual. Porch refuses to assist in the 500 dollars I provided this “pro” as a deposit for work that was not done. The individual was able to list abilities without Porch checking to see if this person was being forthcoming with the information. I made my decision based on the text I received from the contractor after he was provided with my phone number from the operators of the website. I was told that the “Porch guarantee” does not cover unqualified individuals that damage your property and take your money. This site is a fraud and the individuals on this site are substandard unqualified “pros”.

    I can’t begin to express how disappointed I am with your service. Last Thursday I booked an appointment for a handyman. On Friday I made a phone call because I had not heard back from my request. I was told that I would receive a call within 48 hours. Monday morning a young man showed up at 10 o’clock to handle the jobs I had requested. Still without a phone call. He arrived at 10 and completed the work by 1:40 and I paid $249. The technicians started with the door sweep. He removed the door and had it laying on my living room carpet without any drop cloth and debris from removing old door sweep was collecting on carpet flooring. I offered a drop cloth and asked him to work off of it. Once the door sweeps was installed he took the drop cloth with him into the shower to remove old caulking and re-caulk the shower. I asked if he could also install a floorboard, which he did.

    I was told not use the shower for 24 hours because of the caulking needed to dry. Wednesday morning I noticed what a POOR job the technician did. I expected a professional finished look. It looks as though the caulking was applied with his fingertips, I could have done a better job, and instead of asking for a paper towel or rag he used the drop cloth to wipe off his fingers and it’s now covered with dried caulking. Wednesday morning I made a phone call, and explain these concerns. I was told I would receive another phone call within 48 hours and still no phone call. I am not 100% satisfied and I expect the supervisor to reach out to me by end of day. Unhappy customer.

    I wanted removal of vanity, top and toilet so small bathroom could be tiled. New vanity with top and toilet installed. Tile was not straight. Toilet has broken flange which he says he did not do.     I ordered the 3 wheel adult tricycle from Walmart online and requested that they assemble the bike for the fee stated $79.00. Porch contact me to schedule an appointment to have a someone come to my house to assemble the bike. On Wednesday October 24, 2018 they showed up and was surprised to see the bike (was still in the box). They were told it would be for an exercise bike that they do not assemble regular bikes of any kind. The contractor did attempt to assemble the bike and was able to put it together.     I am a service provider, their leads are 80% invalid and getting your money back is a nightmare. So there I am wasting my time trying to get a credit and once you get paid then you will never get your money back.     Eddie ** was nice enough but the tile job was not completed to my satisfaction. Tile was cut with a snip instead of a saw which left a lot of uneven breaks. I'd asked for black grout and grey was used instead. After his first visit, I'd asked him to replace some of the broken tiles. This he did without any real difference to the breaks. Some tile was even crooked. After the job was finished, Eddie confided with me that he was working for Porch part-time. I'm going to a local tile store in Denver to have this mess removed and pay for new tile and, hopefully, a better installation contractor. I would not recommend Porch to anyone.

    I went online seeking someone in my area to refinish some wood doors for my church. The website I found said it was in my city, and it was called woodstripingpros.com but all there was on the site was a contact form. There was absolutely no other information about this "company". For some reason, the person called the church even though my contact information was on the form. The name of that person's company was a paint store (?) but it turns out the guy did woodwork on the side. He wasn't even sure how he got the referral and mentioned it was most likely through porch.com.     I used Porch for over 3 month and spent over 1000 dollars. After trying many times to fix what actually not working, I gave up. After reviewing over 2000 leads, I had purchased over 100 of them. NOT a one lead I have purchased was valid. 9 out 10 calls, people denied ever requesting THE service. Porch policy of credit is a scam. 2 emails 1 phone call and 1 SMS is not enough to request credit, regardless of no CONTACT of any kind!!! It will take you to have full time person to work on those and keep track. Stay away from call services. 8 bucks a call, but people on the other line don't need your service. :( Time you spend on requesting credit, will make this service 3 times more expensive than anything else. I made thousands on YELP in 1 month after spending $800 and ZERO after spending $1,200 with PORCH.

    I am a contractor, I signed up and deposited $350 to purchase leads. I have called every customer and not 1 out of the 10 customers even wanted work done. Porch has the worst leads I have ever purchased. I then tried to get my money refunded. Which should be easy, but nope. I have to wait for a specialist to call me and tell me how they will... Exactly. I spoke to multiple homeowners and none of them need work done. I had a guy verify his address and phone number, go to his house and it doesn't exist. I stopped by another house and spoke to the people renting the home and they don't have a clue why their address is on there and a name of a person who does not even own the home.     I listed a job on Porch.com. Asphalt Roof replacement and replacement of a skylight. The details will filled in using their forms for supplying info. What Porch does is send this out to people in your area that will pay for these "Leads." Porch indicates they pre-screen these people in some way or fashion. Anyway, here was my experience. I was immediately called by a company over 100 miles away. They asked some quick qualifying questions, when they learned I wanted a skylight replaced they said they didn't do that work and goodbye. (The skylight replacement was in the job description already.) Whatever.

    The second person was just a few miles away and immediately came over to see the roof do some measurements and provided me a price and contract on site. I thanked him and told him I would get back. A quick google search revealed to me that the gentleman who just showed up to my house was a convicted felon arrested and charged with fraud for collecting deposits on contracts and not doing the work. No thank you.

    The third call was from a gentleman who worked for a company called "Modern something." Really nice interesting guy. In his 70s, doesn't do roofing but works as a commissioned salesperson for local roofing companies. Measured and wrote up a contract for a different company. Thanked him and I'll get back. Looked up the company he represented and found the owner was arrested twice (Once was related to his business) and was fined twice by OSHA for safety violations. I contacted the salesperson and said I wouldn't do business with this company. He said there is another company I can get you a contract with.

    This other company had been in business 5 years, BBB+ rating, Good reviews, etc. He came back wrote up a contract for this other company and collected my deposit for just under $5000. (50%) of the total. He said the company wouldn't get to my roof for two months since they were busy. This was a good sign to me, it indicated quality work.

    Well, two months later I get a letter from this company indicating they have shut their doors and is going to file chapter 13 bankruptcy. I am not a Lawyer, but LLCs (Which is what this company is.) cannot file Chapter 13. This indicated to me that he hadn't looked seriously into it. No return of my deposit. No return of any of my phone calls. The salesperson said "Good luck, he owes me money too." So this is what Porch.com got me. They obviously do NOT screen any of their people in any meaningful way if an ex-con get a leads from them. TL;DR; Don't trust anyone they send your way. People who sign up to get leads from Porch seem desperate and cannot get customers via word of mouth or other ways.

    The company quoted $200. They sent two people that took 4 trips to complete the small job because they stood around doing nothing mostly. In the end they charged us double the hourly rate because they sent two people and the hourly job went from 200 to just under 2000. Don't bother calling the one person complaint dept either.     I originally gave a good review but, was not too pleased as the first guy had dirty fingers left prints all over crystals and ceiling piece. He also was very messy but, just overlooked that. Then the next morning I noticed that the chandelier was not flush to the ceiling and was hanging down on one corner and looked uneven. I called Porch back and dealt with Brenda and I was okay at first as she had the same guy text me to see what the problem was. He proceeded to tell me that that is how these chandelier's hang and that if I want one to be flush and even I should buy a new one. I am sure Pottery Barn would like to this as that is where I bought it and they recommended we use Porch!

    I told him I would not care if someone else came out as he could not make it soon enough as I was concerned about the stability of the chandelier and that it could come crashing down. Marco ** was the second guy to come out and he was very good he had to completely take the chandelier down and secure it to the ceiling as it was not secure at all and could of fallen through the ceiling! Marco had to put toggle bolts to secure it! I feel that the first guy that came just hung it and did not care if it was straight or secure and could of done a way better job even if he had to put forth more effort as someone would have gotten hurt if that had fallen!!! I will never use Porch again!

    This is my second time using Porch service. The first time the person did what I needed but charged me $30 more then what I was told. This time I needed my kitchen backsplash put in. The man came but didn't finish and said he would come back the next day. I paid in full for the day (I was given the day rate and assured it would only take a day) which was a big mistake because not only did he cancel the next day and want more money under the table to finish the job, but he did not even call or show up on the rescheduled day.     Do not attempt to use this company - Porch. I wish I had read the reviews before I agreed to do a project with them to repair a broken file cabinet. Like so many other reviewers have stated, they never showed up. I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. The person never showed up. No calls, no texts, no email, no show. On Monday, they called and left a voicemail about rescheduling. I called back three times, but only got a voice mailbox. They never called me back. This is the same story I have read in numerous reviews about Porch. They are completely unreliable. My advice is to look for another more reliable company. It will save you time and frustration.

    I purchased the service through Walmart. Porch scheduled my service a week out. I put in to take off work to ensure I would be home for this install. The day before the installation, they called to confirm I still needed the service which I confirmed. They ended up calling back right before close of business and left me a voicemail stating they had a scheduling conflict and will not be coming. They had a week to ensure someone was available for my install and they called to confirm but yet they ended up having a conflict? Why was I the one booked versus the other customer? After talking to 4 different customer reps and supervisor, I was told they will see what day they have available and let me know.

    No one at the company had any answers and Walmart only transferred me back to Porch. So I wasted a vacation day for no reason and the shed was not installed as planned. After 24 hours they still couldn't tell me when someone would be available to come out. What horrible service and a waste of company. This company has no clue what they are doing. Either their installers unreliable or they cannot manage schedules correctly. I am canceling my installation and getting my money back. There are better companies out there that do the same thing but actually get the job done.

BOTH leads turned out to be false leads, one was also listed as a Tile job, turned out it was supposed to be an acoustical ceiling installation. Falsely advertised and miscategorized. Should have been a $20 lead but I had to pay $40 to get it. The second lead I purchased for $50 turned out to be a homeowner who never had any interest in remodeling his kitchen, had no idea what I was talking about and never requested this service from Porch. Seems like they are creating false leads, having you purchase them for a large amount of money, and then do not stand behind them whatsoever.

    They steal your $50, then say in an email: well, even though the homeowner did not request the service, he answered his phone, so therefore we have provided you with an opportunity to speak to a homeowner, and you didn't take the opportunity to sell him a kitchen... Like whaaaaaaaa?!?! ** thieves! I could go to my neighbor and try and sell him a kitchen also, but when he says not interested, it will not suck $50 from my pocket every single time... So more or less... I spent $90 on 2 leads, and both turned out to be false/"contractor bait" as I call them... Don't waste your money with these scammers. Totally bogus, just like most other lead generation companies.

    I had never heard of Porch, but they came up when I did a search for handymen. They were very responsive about my inquiry for help - courteous, helpful, price seemed right. We scheduled a handyman come out a couple days after this phone call. I received an email each day leading up to the appointment...all the "pre" work done by Porch was very well done. The day of the appointment, the arrival time of 11:30 came and went, and at 12:30, I called them to see if someone was coming.     Porch was great when finding contractors to call. Unfortunately the contractor we selected was dishonest and did substandard work. He quoted 3 days for completion, but didn't start the project for 3 weeks. The addition where attached to the existing structure leaked when it rained. He used wet, moldy OSB and said there was no problem. Placed a door on the wrong side of the building. The structure was not tied to the existing building (hurricane straps?). Our property was left a mess everyday-pop cans, cigarette butts, nails and scrap materials. No communication when they leave for the day. We expect them to return the next day, but usually not the case. He begged for money giving some sob story, even though the contract stated partial pay (large amount) up front and balance due upon completion we were happy with.

    We had to call and pay a roofer to repair damages they made (torn shingles) and also repair the flow on the roof. My husband secured the building with the straps and also knocked out and replaced the moldy OSB where contractor said it was fine. These costs were deducted from the balanced we owed. He agreed then when we told him how much it was, he said it was ridiculous and we owe him all the balance. At a later date he called and said he would pick up that check and when we told him he needed to sign saying the job was paid in full, he never showed up. He has since placed a lien against us. Our fault for not doing our due diligence BEFORE hiring, but I would have thought Porch would have done a better job at least making sure the people they allow to bid are both licensed and insured.

    We are a home improvement company, signed on with Porch for nearly one year. Nearly all of the leads were either bad contact info or those I reached were not interested in a project and had never heard of Porch, nor had the viewed the Porch website. One gentleman whom I did reach said he was a nursing home resident and did not even own a computer. One did not own a home, most of the rest of the leads did not respond to multiple contacts by telephone and email, and several phone numbers were not in service. I canceled my membership and was told I could not get a full refund, only credit as the money had already been spent. Well, it was my money, and it was spent on bogus leads. I have asked them to provide me with a copy of the contract, as I was told I could get a full refund, not a credit to purchase more bogus leads. I will not be returning to Porch in the future.

    Recently purchased a new dishwasher and went to Porch to be linked with a technician to install it. Received prompt emails and texts, set up a time on that Saturday and all was confirmed (process was very easy). Unfortunately no one ever showed. There was no live person to talk to about the no-show so I had to email and text. Received follow-up on Monday apologizing and offering to reschedule anytime on Tuesday, set it up for 10:00 am.     Porch.com sent me 'pro' to install outside drainage for my home. This 'pro' destroyed my yard left unfinished work did a horrible job on my walkway that I now have to pay someone else to fix and I'm out of $3600+. The pro cannot be contacted and Porch.com did nothing to help me. This Pro that they sent is not licensed and hasn't been for years and is still stealing from people using their C as if they were. WHAT'S WORSE, Porch.com recommended a 'pro' THAT'S A SCAM ARTIST AND A THIEF having several telephone numbers and several business addresses that are not legitimate. Porch claims they do background checks on their pros. How could they have possibly done so without having any valid contact information when I searched and found out that the company has not been licensed in several years.

    I was extremely busy with moving and needed some furniture to be put together before Monday. I called Porch Friday morning and asked if they could have someone there today. The guy I spoke with said, "Yes" and "We will have someone there at 5:00 PM." At 5:00 PM that evening I sat around until 6:00 and called. They informed me then that same day service was not guaranteed. But the guy in the morning had never informed me of that. OK FINE. So I rescheduled for the following evening so I could get more work done. The following day I called in the morning to CONFIRM someone would 100% be there and they said, "Don’t worry. "We will have someone there at 5:00 PM." Again at 5:00 PM I waited and no one so around 5:20 PM I called and they said that the handyman checked off that he was on location and should be there in a matter of minutes.

    Another 30 minutes passes and still no one. I call again. Sit on hold for 10 minutes to get a voicemail. I call again after that and someone picks up just to give me another phone number. I call the other phone number. Voicemail box is full. So I call the original number and sit on hold for 10 minutes til I get someone just to tell me to text... YES. You guessed it. A different number. Finally (now 7:00 PM) I get a hold of someone asking me to reschedule a 3rd time. Now 4 hours wasted I could have just put together the furniture myself... I found someone on Craigslist that actually showed up, was extremely responsive, and did an amazing job for $70 cheaper than Porch.

    Carpet squares laid in January of 2018 were coming up in June. The guy laid the squares over linoleum and told me it would be fine and would actually cushion the floor. I didn't know so I went with it. My research said the used squares would reinstall just fine. The guy got cash from me to buy glue. He refused to work the 8 hours I paid for.     What Porch.com doesn't tell consumers is, they CHARGE professionals money to get your lead, whether you give them the job or not. They also pit pros against each other, with multiple people submitting bids on your request. Porch offers NOTHING you can't find on your own with a Google search; all they do is try to suck money out of the system. This results in reduced profit for the contractor and over time, leads to increased prices for everyone. The minimum fee Porch charges the pro is $35, even if it's a small job that costs 70 or 80 bucks. My advice is to contact potential service providers directly. It will be faster and more efficient, you can get a better feel for the company by speaking to them personally, and no one is stuck dealing with a "middleman". And just fyi, most of these home referral services operate in this deceptive manner. The exceptions would be Angie's List, Yelp and Houzz. (They charge pros to advertise, but not to get leads).

    I was assigned by Porch.com a contractor to do a simple Oven Microwave installation via Lowe’s. The contractor not only did not install the oven microwave in the kitchen correctly...but caused a FIRE Hazard and Water damage to house (kitchen and basement) by cutting into a water pipe in the bathroom behind the kitchen. The contractor was totally unprofessional and poorly trained. Looks like Porch picks up people from the street without vetting their work, professionalism. This is dangerous.

    They claim they have guarantee but that also looks like a SCAM. I have exchanged emails and phone calls with two of their so called project coordinators who promised through porch.com company emails that refund is processed HOWEVER I have not yet received a single dollar in refunds over the last FOUR MONTHS. The project coordinators have LEFT THE COMPANY. I am now talking to the third employee. This is a totally unprofessional company. I will NOT DO business with LOWE’S again for recommending and working with such a disastrous company.

    Ruby was prompt and professional, after arriving she explained then showed me what she was doing. After examining the HVAC on the inside, she then went outside to inspect and service my unit. Again she explained what she would be doing by checking the FREON level and then installing more and the amount she installed. She also recommended installing a liquid sealant that could help the longevity of the system and the FREON install!

    In 7 November 2017 I contacted Porch for a tile setter by their homepage and by phone. I received an email saying they would have pros for me within 24 hours. I chose Vince Handyman Bradenton, Fl. He came on 9 November and asked for a deposit of $1,700. I gave him $1,000 and 11 Nov. I gave him $700 but not before I called BBB and asked for his rating. They said "A" for this business. Long story short he ran off with $1,700. I complained to Porch and to BBB but they refuse to return my $ even though they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They first said he was not a pro with them but ultimately said they did not send him to me. I have their email that sent him to me. They refuse to pay me.

    I contacted another name on their list of pros J and A Tilesetters also of Bradenton. They gave me a bid, I hired them, they did such a horrible job that I called a larger tile company and they said that the whole job had to be ripped up and redone that will cost many thousands of $. Again Porch claims they are not their pros even though I got the email with a list of these pros. The Porch has refused to pay me. In March while still trying to get Porch to do the right thing and live up to their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee I asked for a tile setter to tile my living room. They sent James one of their pros. He arrived late with no helpers and insufficient tools (said they were in a storage shed in NY).

    He started 3 times WRONG and ultimately set 11 tiles out of over 100 which had to be ripped up because they were installed wrong as well and slopped thinset on my carport. Porch claims that I did not send them photos they asked for...a lie and my materials were destroyed which Porch has refused to accept responsibility for. Porch says James "made significant progress". All he did was take up a day of my time and destroy my materials. Most disturbed by BBB giving Porch an "A" rating. Who can we trust?!? Since then I have found numerous complaints against Vince Handyman, J and A Tilesetters that go back years! Again who can we trust?

    The porch railing/handrail job for two small porches was horrible. Just found out that it is not up to code and now have to have it all taken out and redone. This has been an horrible horrible experience. LOWE'S should be ashamed to recommend this company to their customers.

    Total scam. Porch.com is a waste of time. Called two people and they both told me they got someone else. One guy said "I was a day late and a dollar short." Although his ad had only been up for two hours. Waste of time totally.
