I got notices from my water supply company that there was a certain amount of chemical in our water above the standard. We wanted to have better water that was better tasting, and make sure that it was clean. I researched Pelican Water Systems on the internet. I gave the sales consultants of Pelican the name of the chemical and they were very knowledgeable about it. They explained to me what caused the problem and assured me that Pelican would be able to take that chemical out. I purchased the whole house water filter system from Pelican. I did the installation myself and it went pretty well. I used a fixed pipe, which was easier, and I didn’t have to do any soldering.

My old water system had died and I purchased a Pelican water softener. I ordered everything online and I spoke to a sales rep at the same time. It was hard for them to understand but I told them what the issue was before I bought the other filter. They seemed very helpful and concerned about selling me what I needed. Also, their website was friendly enough. I installed the system myself and it was very simple. I called and asked them about setting the salt meter on it, and they said that they'd need a water sample. So, they sent me a water sample kit, free of charge because I'd already purchased the water filter so they could do that. And then they got back in touch with me and told me what to set the filter on. Now the water tastes much better. Everything seems to be going good. It's a very good system and it seems to be a great salt saver for me.

I've been very satisfied with Pelican and their reps. I installed the system and while doing the installation, I was calling several times to make sure I was doing exactly what they wanted me to. And they've been very helpful. I had to add chlorine to the chlorine tank and I had to get it to a certain percentage and it took me a while to get that. I made three calls and I kept saying, "Look, I've added this" and they said, "Keep going. You're doing things right. Until you get to this point, you'll be okay." Also I talked to them about adding extra filter in the system. And they made recommendations, which I'm really happy with. The problems that I have been experiencing on my home water has been taken care of because of the recommendations that they have given us.

I looked again, watched Youtube videos and read reviews until I realized from what I saw that everybody was happy with their Pelican and I didn’t want to try to save money and get something that doesn’t do what I want. I went online again then I called to see if I could get a discount. The rep that I talked to was great. He did all he was allowed to do, which was enough to push me over the edge to make the purchase.

Their website was very effective and informative, and I primarily used it in dealing with the Pelican staff. I also exchanged emails with them to discuss my concerns and I spoke with them briefly prior to delivery. They followed up with me. I got the salt-less water softener and demineralizer system for the whole home, then I had a local plumber install it. The end result was good and the system solved my issue. I've used various other systems before and the Pelican system was cost-effective and impressive. I'd recommend Pelican and their products.

We were spending too much on bottled water and we were filling up the recycling every two days. When I googled water filtration, Pelican Water Systems came up and it was exactly what I wanted. I bought the 6-stage reverse osmosis under the sink and now, we fill up the recycling every two weeks. I did it all online and it was no different than any other online purchase so, it went well. It would be nice if the website had instructions on how to install it in a step-by-step video. There was one instance when a drainage tube didn’t go directly into the al pipe so that created a backup and a little bit of overflow where there was a little air gap on the faucet and then it would leak. And then once I cut it and it went directly to go out the tube then that fixed that problem. And for a while there, I was getting upset because it was leaking, but when I researched online, I got that feedback and now, it works perfectly. I'd tell people to get it for themselves if they ask about it.

I bought a house located next to a bunch of refineries in Romeoville and it was a well water community. We had the water tested and it has a lot of organic material in it so I didn’t trust it. I've been buying bottled water for a long time and I finally decided to go with the filtration system. I bought the 6-stage PRO for under the sink. I did it online and their site was user-friendly and simple. You go through the dropdown menus, it gives you the options and it explains what all the options are. So, it was easy to use. I now have much cleaner water and it tastes better because it’s mineralized which is the big feature that they have that most others don’t. They’re a good and solid company and I'd recommend them.

I had a well and it was not producing the kind of water I wanted to drink so I looked into water treatment systems and found that if I had a whole house system and salt-free softener, it would solve my problem. It was six years ago when I found Pelican Water Systems online and I didn’t have a problem using their site. You order stuff and you’re in good shape. My house water is under 100 parts per million from my well and I have reverse osmosis and it's lower than that. I just have to change the filters a lot because I have sand in my well and I have a Spin-Down filter and it still gives me problems. I've had it cleaned out a couple of times but it doesn’t seem to matter. I’m doing my best and for the last three years, I've had good water. I'm probably the only people in this county that can drink the water coming out of the faucet.

I originally did not get the combo system, but they adjusted the whole thing and gave me the combo system with the charcoal filtered system, which I highly appreciated. It saved me a lot of money. I highly recommend Pelican Water.

We had hard water so I looked online and I liked the concept of Pelican Water Systems. I looked at the reviews and thought maybe I might be taking a risk buying it, but it turned out to be everything they said it was. I bought online one of their water systems for hard water and it works beautifully. It was worth $1,200 and I got it installed for the entire home. Our water used to get calcium buildup on everything and that's eliminated now. There's still calcium in the water and the system doesn't get rid of it but it ionizes it so it doesn’t stick. Also, Pelican Water's website is awesome. I have a whole house filter system and I buy the replacement filters from them. And their guys do a good job. I show our water system to everybody who comes in our house and tell them where I got it.

I Googled for filters and found out about Pelican. I got a six-stage PRO-RO and I use it all my life. I don’t really like tap water -- I try not to drink it if possible. So, now I moved to an apartment and it is cheaper to have filtered water than to buy water. It was, however, just a little difficult for the maintenance guy to install it. He said the instructions were not very clear to him. I also emailed the customer service just to clear something out and they answered my questions. Right now it is working and I like it. The website is also good. The instructions, nevertheless, should be improved, like make more with pictures, because they have little texts and the system is difficult.

I told them I needed a well system and then it asked how many bedrooms and baths we have and so, I based my decision off of that. The website was very informative and the way it was designed made it easy to make a decision for someone who did not know anything about whole home water systems.

He was also confident, helpful, and guided me to an installation company. I bought a salt-free home water system, one for hardness and one for the rest of chlorine and some. The costs are okay and the quality is good. With the concern on hardness, I cannot feel any difference because the water is more like the same. But I believe it’s less and I had some chlorine ordered in it and this is on.

The sales rep from Pelican Water described good form of information. He explained the systems and made sure I was going in the right direction. I already have a reverse osmosis and another house system before and I just needed to replace one of the existing systems. I ended up purchasing the two tanks salt-free system from Pelican Water and it's a good system. Their website was easy to manage and to walk through. And I got good information from the website as well.

Pelican Water Systems are great and they have great products. I talked to one of their filter reps who has been very nice. He answered my questions and also guided me. We have bad water and so I got the PC600 which I ordered online. I hired a very good plumber to install it and the installation went fine. We love the Pelican product and we’re very happy with it.

Pelican was Very good. The unit was already installed in the house that I bought. I needed to replace the filter so I spoke to the sales consultant. He was very nice and he helped me out. I’ve been told the people that use those Brita filters have to replace them weekly here. The water in this city comes out of the tap and it is light brown. A lot of times it smells like sulfur, so it is not a good water source. With the water filtration system the water comes out clear, so I’m really happy. I just wish they had installed it before the washing machine but they did not. Nevertheless, their people are wonderful. I went to their site when I wanted to talk to somebody about some questions and they were very helpful. I was going to do it online but going in just seemed easier. Go ahead and get it in this town.

I've used Pelican before but I sold our house and the new owners wanted the system so I couldn't take it. We had drinkable, wonderful tasting water, and I stopped buying any bottled water. It was also scummy build-up and hard water safe. I love their original system and I was so impressed that I had to buy another one. Their sales reps were courteous and professional. We did it all through the chat section of Pelican's website, and everything was clear and simple. I ended up getting the salt-free water softener and the whole house filtration. I haven't installed it yet because we're renovating the house that we purchased. I would highly recommend them.

We've had our Pelican water system for a lot of years. And we always order filters from them. They ship it and we get it. It seems like a fair price and everything is hunky-dory. I keep track of it if we need new filters and I just tell Glen if we need to reorder. He either calls them or orders it online. But he does it more online in the last couple of years.

The carbon filters last five years and I can get rinsable pre-filters and the softening was on a lifetime warranty, and I never had to mess with the carpet again. We chatted back and forth, and he answered several questions and then I asked him for more information. He told he can call me the next day, which he called me back first thing in the morning. I also did a little more research and checked for reviews online, and by the time we got down to speak and it was guaranteed of my satisfaction for a period of time, I told him I will sign up with them.

I got three canisters for the whole house. Pelican Water Systems told me what the price was and what they figured the system would cost to be installed. Their sales consultants were detailed, and very good at explaining what the system was and what it did. The water up here is full of sediment, and the system balanced the sediment from the water basin.

The water where I live was horrendous. We got beads and stuff coming out and it tastes and smells funny, and my plumber recommended Pelican Water Systems to us. However, their sales consultant was mediocre. He didn’t go into a lot of detail with me and I need details about the product. I base my expertise to find experts on what I need but the guy was abrupt, it was just too much. He has to realize that there are customers who may not understand what Coverage A is versus Coverage C. He needs to professionally represent who he's representing and go through the whole thing. If you perceive the customer as stupid, you're going to treat them like they're stupid and you can't do that. That's not the right way to do it. if it was me, I could lose my license if I do that but this guy didn’t lose anything and he's still there.

I have Pelican Water Systems out in Burrell, New Mexico and the filter always turns deep orange-ish-brown. I try to change the filter once a year. The water tastes great. The architect said I have instant on hot water with gas and he said that those are very sensitive systems. That's why I needed the water filter and the system is working fine so the filter is doing its job. I'm now in New York State and I have recommended it. A lot of people here have water softener that adds salt to the water. You can taste the salt and I'm sure it's bad for their blood pressure too. Pelican Water Systems is much better. It works really well.

Pelican's customer reviews were very positive so I called them to ask general questions about the effectiveness of a water and air treatment system compared to a water softener. It felt like it was a better thing for me personally so I ended up ordering one online or on the phone. Then I installed it myself. I'm not a qualified plumber but I called the distributor in Florida and with their the help, it was fairly easy. Now my water has no taste which is what I wanted. I would highly recommend Pelican based on their customer service. If I called, there was somebody there knowledgeable to help me out.

I have the Pelican Water System for a year now. We had a previous treatment system that was not working well for us, and so we wanted to switch out to something else. I did my initial order online, which was easy to do. I did initial installation myself. It also happened that I needed a replacement UV bulb and stuff that I've done here recently. The interaction with the rep when ordering the bulb was easy. We did that through an online chat forum and it was fast. I installed the bulb myself. We enjoy our system and it's doing a good job.

I got the PC600 and I wish I would’ve talked to somebody because it only does half the job I needed. I wish I would’ve known what I needed for the correct system for a well. There's about 35% difference in clarity in my water and I’m still getting the staining. I called them up again to find out what was required for the other thing and they told me I needed this other softener. So now I’m looking at getting that stuff from another company because it's considerably cheaper for the rest of what I need. But still, I'm satisfied.

I ordered the 600 online and on the website, they have a video on how to change the filters. It's the best installation video and a great sales piece. Moreover, the people I've been in contact with for help have been fantastic. They're a great company.

I already had a filter system which I didn't like so I looked for something that is very easy to install and exchange the cartridges. I did my research on the internet and found Pelican Water. I chose my system, ordered it online, and had a plumber come to the house and install it for me. And it was very easy to install that if I had a little bit more plumbing skills, I could have done it myself. Pelican is a good system. The pressure of the water is a little bit low but otherwise, my experience is very good. I have the system for six months now and although I haven’t exchanged the cartridges yet, it looks easy. I would highly recommend Pelican. It’s relatively inexpensive, too.

The water in Hughson, California is very hard water, like 22 grains. It was terrible to drink and it caused us a lot of problems. And showers were awful. I’m so sensitive that normal people wouldn’t smell it but I really could. My husband told me that a system would cost tens of thousands of dollars but I went to my neighbor's and he said their Pelican System was so much cheaper than that. I tasted their water right from the faucet and I was sold.

We've been very happy with Pelican's system. We had a lot of calcium buildup before and I’ve had soft water before so I knew there was a difference when I showered. I went on Pelican’s website and of course there were some not so good reviews. I had concerns about those things but the sales rep assured me that we would not have any problems and that if we did, we had 90 days to return our unit. Now, when I shower, my hair is softer and more manageable. Even my husband told me he has noticed a big difference in his skin and he was someone I really had to convince to get a system. Pelican's system was worth the investment. It had a fair price and it doesn’t run on electricity either.

I looked at it online and I called them to see if I could get a better deal. Since using Pelican, everybody comes out of the shower calmer which we all really need. Also, my kid's skin and hair are a lot better and there are not so many rashes. So health-wise, it’s spot on.

I called the customer service to help me identify the products but I used the website to order. I had a good customer service with them and they were very helpful so I don’t have any issues.

I have my Pelican system for five years and I am very pleased with the water. It was very pleasant and informative. We had hard water and I got the single tank from Pelican. Then I had a local plumber install it. We've just had it for about a month and there are less scale and build up on the shower and walls. It's not really good yet but I'm patiently waiting. The water still feels and tastes the same.

Salt Free Softener NS6 - This is not a real water softener. This is only a Water Conditioner, and does not remove calcium from the system. The product is mislabeled and the vendor will try to require you to pay for the return shipping, or force you into a replacement, once you figure this out. Don't do business with a company like this.

I live in the State of Oregon and we know that the city puts a whole bunch of chemicals and Fluoride in the water. And Fluoride is not good for your body. One of the reasons we've decided to go with this 'cause the Pelican filters out the Fluoride among other things. We ordered the whole house water filter over the internet and we had a plumber install it. I signed up for an automatic water small cartridge filter which goes ahead of the big filtering tank. I signed up for a renewal shipment on it every six months and that came through just like clockwork. On the first three days after installation the water started tasting better. The build up on the pipes was rid off. Pelican Water Systems works great.

Pelican Water Systems does their own installation and has no third-party vendors to deal with. I got their water system for the convenience, their price, and their expertise. Their sales consultant was a subject matter expert. He knew and could talk about the product, answered every question, and took care of our concerns. He conducted himself professionally. Then the installers showed up with ID in a company truck, knew everything that had to be done and did it. If I had any questions, they were answered. They all should continue being professional in every way. Now, we got rid of the chlorine and all the other stuff in the water. We're able to drink the water out of the tap so we're saving money on buying bottled water. It's safe enough to give our pets now because they were only drinking bottled or filtered water out of the refrigerator. Overall, a Pelican water system makes a difference in the water.

I was interested in a water softener filtration so I began searching online. Pelican didn't have the lowest price but in reading the literature, I could understand it better than other company's, specifically the water softener feature and the name recognition. The sales rep was very good. He took his time with me whatever questions I had and I had several concerning the system and how it works. Also, I had an issue when I was installing and had a plumber out as I’m at a point in life where I don’t carry my toolbox everywhere I go so I'd gladly hire a pro when I can. Part of the system has a UV light for bacteria and I couldn't find it. The fixture was there but the lamp was missing. I called and he called right back even it was after-work hours but by that time, the problem was solved. It was still in its round cardboard tube that I had tossed down the trash.

Our experience with Pelican was good. I had an RO treatment before, but we moved to a new home so we looked for another treatment system. The sales consultant I went through with was excellent. He listened, he got me all the information, and he didn't pressure me. He did what he could and he did everything I asked him for as well. He was phenomenal. Another water company came to my house in Wisconsin and left a bag with a sample on it. I thought it was the town leaving it so I gave them my water sample, and then they called me to come back and show me what was all in my city water and what was going on. They were going to charge me $8,000 for a system that had salt which I would have to keep redoing and putting in. We have basements so I didn’t want to haul bags of salt up and down there. We got a whole new Pelican system for the house and we've had it for a year and a half now. So far, so good. In fact, I'm getting ready to change the filter out and it seems they are working fine. I should probably check for softeners because I had the old softener where I put the salt in and do the ion exchange. I'm wondering to get away from the salt because when it does the backwash, so much water goes to waste. The water here in Arizona doesn’t taste that good and it also has got a lot of minerals. And the home we moved into had a small reverse osmosis system which we don’t care for but actually adds acid. We had Pelican Water Systems at a previous residence and we were satisfied with it. So, we went with another one. We got the 600 model and it's carbon-based. We used the same contractor we did before and were satisfied with his service.

Pelican is a very reliable and knowledgeable company of water. They've been around for years, and I knew that. As I read more and got more educated, it made sense to talk to one of their salesmen, which enlightened me some more. With his answers and his confidence, I said, “Sure. Sign me in.” I went off with the sales rep's suggestions. He told me what's up and what the system would do. Also, he's a veteran like me, and I'm pleased that Pelican is out there working with a veteran. I understood clearly what the system was going to do. He sent me some extra filters for the smaller unit, too. I was on their website reading about some of the filters, and the website was easy to navigate through. The only issue I had was a little hesitation on soldering, but they got it done.

Our water was horrible and had bad odor. Pelican's sales rep came and tested the water. He showed me the meter and what it read. Once we went through the whole thing, I decided that I wanted to go with Pelican instead of the other company not only because of the maintenance, but also with how long it'd take to pre-fill and how frequently I would have to exchange it. I also considered the medium on how long would it last and would I have to do any work for the second tank which is one that does the salt-free. I got both the drinking and the salt-free systems and their website gives a broad idea as to what their product is all about. The installation was free and the guy who did the installation really knew what he was doing. He did it right right from the very beginning and explained everything though he was supposed to explain item by item.

We're very happy with Pelican. It's not as soft as a saltwater softener, but it's doable. The fact that we don't have to carry salt around and lift any bags is a real plus. We got the salt-free system because we were getting ready to retire and we didn't want to have to be figuring a salt bag, checking it up at the store, putting it in the cart and taking it out of the cart, and lifting it to the water softener. It was a lot of lifting that we did not want to have to deal with. We had a salt system before. My husband didn't like the real soft water, but I did. If you're one that does not like the real slimy effect, the Pelican salt-free water system is great. We've recommended our system to friends and they bought it.

We live in an area that has extremely hard water. The middle of Kansas is just a chop of a limestone bedrock. We didn’t want to do the salt added back wash systems, which is what most people have around. In addition to the Pelican system we also installed a double step of ceramic magnets on the water line coming into the house. We don’t get as much line in roughed in the system, but the Pelican filter takes out a lot of the roughed, which is a huge problem around here. It also helps take out the calcium in the line. If we didn’t use Pelican our faucets would corrode more often than every 10 years. If you’re looking for that silky feel of salted water, this is not for you. But if you’re looking for something that is ecologically much better, I would recommend Pelican.

We tried different things trying to get rid of bacteria in the water and we finally ended up with the Pelican UV system. We've had it for three years now and we have the bulb sent automatically every year. It's a water treatment system that doesn't take up much space and seems to work. The water tests came out safe since we've installed the system.

I've been with Pelican for quite a long time. I was with them when I had my first house years ago, and I lived in that house for 20 years. I had salt because I had well water, and I got a whole house filter for the water in the basement. Then I moved to another building, and the water there was hard. I had a lot of hard water and our plants were steering up previously. The system that I had was not working like I wanted it to and my brother-in-law heard a plumber talking about Pelican. I went into their website and looked up what I needed my five homes which they have. It was very easy and the sales rep told me exactly what size I needed. He also had the phone number for me to call if I had any more questions. He answered all my questions and even brought up some things I didn't even think about asking. I bought a whole house water treatment system from Pelican Systems. The water has a bad taste to it. I filled up a couple of clean white bowls and you can see the water has a tint to it. TDS shows over 280 ppm. The lint test show the alkalinity and ph are high. I've talked to two different tech at pelican about this and the only suggestion they could give me is spend more money on different test. All this is not too bad in my experience. The latest test I did at home was to leave some water drops on a silver lid used for cooking and the next day the water deposit left on the lid was so thick and hard I literary had to scrape it off with my fingernail. There is something really wrong with Pelican water. What should I do? I went ahead and disconnected my system I bought. Now I'm out over 3600.00. I'm not happy at all. Hopefully this message can get out to other people that own Pelican systems to check your water.

Our main house has perfect water and I grew up with it. When we built this lake house and drilled a well, they had sulfur water over there. We lasted three months with it. We would try to pour bleach down the well and it will cure it but it wasn't consistent. You put too much and you'd smell like bleach when you got out of the shower. The next week when you didn't put enough, you'd smell like rotten eggs when you get out of the shower. The Pelican rep was very understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. He understood my problems, asked the size of the house, got an idea of the water consumption and told us what system we needed. That's the system I bought and it's the best thing I've bought. It's a very good investment.

I was looking for was a shower head to cut the chemicals out of the water because I have rosacea on my face. Even the chemicals in the water affect it and so I wasn’t able to wash my hair or my face in the shower. I had heard a long time ago that there were shower heads that had filters in them. I went online, I did a search and Pelican Water came up. I first bought their shower head and I liked it, so I also purchased a filter from them.

Our city water lines are old and we had several breaks in the last six months, affecting large lines and the boil alert coming afterwards. We wanted to make sure the water was clean. Michael was our Pelican consultant and he was wonderful. He and I spoke three or four times before we made a purchase. I wanted to make sure it was the right thing to do, and he answered every question I had, and he gave me time to do research on my own and make sure I was making the right purchase. He never pressured us at all. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional and patient as well. I asked him the same question probably three or four times, and he never got tired answering the same questions to make sure that I was comfortable with the purchase before we did it.

Pelican Water Systems was referred by a healthcare professional. They suggested we get a water filter system because of the amount of chlorine and other similar-type substances that shouldn’t run over your body when you shower. So I put an order online and it came in the mail. I got the shower head that was attached directly to the unit. It's chrome coated that looks like it’s made out of metal but it’s mostly plastic. It has a long hose that comes up to the shower head. Pelican Water is a good company. However, I ended up paying a bit more for the filter. They had a discount option available that I applied and it took off the percentage that I normally would take. It didn’t work out to be the same amount off but it wasn’t really worth worrying about.

I moved into a house and the well water was an issue. I ran across an advertisement for Pelican online and tried them. I bought the little faucet and it was good. Pelican also sold me water filters which come every month on time like it's supposed to and leaves an email before they deduct the money. The plumber guy who installed it called me, came in and he knew exactly what to do. He was top-notch and he's experienced in everything. He was very friendly and I really liked him.

There's a whole question and answer thing on their website which answers just about any question I could have. I got a whole house water filter called a PC600 which is a 5 ft. tall filter which filters all the water coming into the house. I've had the filter for over 10 years and by now, the chlorine smell isn't in the water anymore and the water actually tastes better. I also have a friend that bought a system after I did.

I’m a plumbing and air conditioning contractor in New York. One of the customers has just gotten over breast cancer, and the doctor instructed them to get something that was going to remove the chlorine from the water. There's a great video online about how to remove the thing which is really helpful but I would end up calling them to confirm what I'm doing. It took a couple of times to get it to seal properly, but after that, it’s no big deal. It works great now. The unit and the faucet is very high quality. It’s a good product, and I’m happy with it.

We had Culligan where we lived before but I like the Pelican system much better.

I purchased a condo that had a Pelican Water System in it. Once I discovered I had their system, I went to their website to see what I could find out about their system. I had a manual, which was a good starting point, and their 800-number. There are filters and parts that need to be replaced on a periodic basis. I've purchased supplies, filters, and parts, and their technical support staff has been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. One of the best I've talked to. I didn’t know how to operate the system and they have helped me get things to come out, as well as walked me through everything.

I installed the system myself, and it was a little tough. But there was enough YouTube videos and instructions about it. I suggest they send or develop a testing kit so you can test your water before and after. Right now I installed my system but I have no idea if my water indeed is a better quality water. So, I’d rather pay even if it cost $50 extra to run a test before and after.

We’re on a well system and the sulfur odor is really bad as well as the water discoloration. My husband ordered the system from the website. We got a big metal thing full of charcoal and a little blue thing that we replace the filter once a month. It’s cleaned up our water.
