I’ve researched about water treatment systems and our son heard about Pelican Water from his best friend. I had problems with the soft water salt type things, I started getting allergic to that stuff and I had to get away from salt. I heard about the Pelican Water Systems and we got the MN3. I had a very nice talk with the sales consultant and they also have very good information on the website. I’ve quickened my favorites and when I want to look something up, I simply pull it up. At first, I was very unhappy with the way it worked but now that it has worked all the stuff out of the pipes, we’re starting to get soft water. At first, even our dishes were crappy and they've got tarnish but now they’re straightened out pretty good so we’re happier about it.

The filter in my shower was failing me and I didn’t like changing it every month. So, I wanted something that can really deal with the volume of water needed to be filtered. When I did my own research, a lot of people were happy with Pelican and they liked the three-stage system as opposed to the two. Pelican’s sales consultants understood that I was interested in a good deal and that I’m a long-time customer. Their website is put together very well, clear and concise. I looked at it online and I called them to see if I could get a better deal. Since using Pelican, everybody comes out of the shower calmer which we all really need. Also, my kid's skin and hair are a lot better and there are not so many rashes. So health-wise, it’s spot on.

I moved into a home with well water so I wanted the treatment system from Pelican Water Systems. I did the whole house with the UV filtration. Their website was easy to use. I called the customer service to help me identify the products but I used the website to order. I had a good customer service with them and they were very helpful so I don’t have any issues.

We have a very high lime content in our water and we’ve had two salt systems in the last 20 years which have both stopped working. I was looking for something different and saw an ad on the internet for Pelican Water Systems. It was very easy to put in an order online for the tank and salt-free filter. The last salt system quit two years ago and we had a lot of problems with the faucets and lime buildup on pots and pans. We haven’t had that since we’ve gotten the system. We’ve also noticed that our laundry is softer and for me, the drinking water tastes better. I would tell my friends that if they’re using a salt system, the Pelican system is something that they might want to look into. It works very well and I have recommended it.

I have my Pelican system for five years and I am very pleased with the water. I had too much calcium in my water and it was fogging up the faucets and that’s when I decided to get the whole home system. I have the carbon filter, as well as the sediment filter. Having a Pelican system was the most economical way of doing it because water is important to our health, as well as the conditions of the plumbing in the home. It caused me a lot of headaches in having to replace showerheads and to clean out the faucets throughout the home. I also changed out the water heater about the same time as I put in the Pelican water system for the whole house since there was a problem with it. I've noticed a big improvement in the water since then. More homes should consider Pelican Water.

We moved down here from up north. And the water quality down here was suspect so I wanted to clean it up a little. I had the house built and the Pelican Water charcoal filter was put in during construction. I used Pelican's website when I ordered some whole house filter cartridges and it had free shipping. The whole house filter is what I really need because when I change the cartridge, I can see what it has done.

We bought a house that is on well water and the previous owner was renting their system but we were looking into purchasing the system. I was unsure of what exactly to get but Pelican's sales consultant walked me through every bit of it and was very helpful. We got a PH neutralizer and a whole house system so there's an iron and manganese filter, a saltless water softener, a whole house filter and a sediment filter.

We are remodeling a house in the Yucatan and even though there are city water supplies in Mexico, you can’t be sure that there’s not something in them. They also have very hard water so we wanted something that would take out as much scale as possible to help preserve the appliances and finishings in the house. Frank did a whole lot of research online and decided that the Pelican system was the best thing we could possibly get. It’s supposed to take out 99 percent of the scale and it also has ultraviolet in it to kill off any bacteria. It has very comprehensive instructions on installation as well and he was really pleased with that.

We have very hard water here in Southern California, in Santa Clarita particularly, and we've always had a potassium-based system that runs into our garden beds. Several years back, the city of Santa Clarita outlawed any kind of water softening unit, but we were grandfathered in. These tanks, between seven and $900, only last for five to six years, and that's a little over $100 a year. It's a big hassle to get the potassium and since it's outlawed here in Santa Clarita, we had to drive several miles up to the Antelope Valley to buy potassium. My husband started looking into something more permanent, and that's the Pelican System.

However, it wasn’t easy to install, but I did it myself for about less than $100. When I need a replacement for media, I go to their website and order it up. I have told other people in our area about them.

My wife researched online because we have a well here, and we wanted to make sure we have good water. We then spoke with the sales consultant online. We found out what their systems were that were available, and we ordered it. They insisted that before installation, they would have our water properly tested, and they suggested that their best thought was a place in Michigan. We have everything that they offer. We never had any problem with them and every time we call them directly, they take care of whatever questions we have, and they get us taken care of immediately. They are very pleasant, and we’ve had the installation for 10 years now. I highly recommend them to anyone who is on a well particularly. We wouldn’t think of having anything else.

I don’t like a lot of the added chemicals like chlorine that is put into the water. I find it nauseous and I don’t like the taste. A friend told me about Pelican Water so I looked into it. A rep explained to me the product well and the different items that they had available. I made my choice based on the discussions and my research and personal opinion. I got the standard city water filter system and I liked it. We don’t have the strong chlorine odor now and the taste has improved. If these issues are important to someone else just as they were for me, then I’d strongly recommend Pelican Water.

I talked to a consultant from Pelican Water and he answered all my questions. He was professional and polite. The sales reps also answered the questions that I needed to find out about. It was very pleasant and informative. We had hard water and I got the single tank from Pelican. Then I had a local plumber install it. We've just had it for about a month and there are less scale and build up on the shower and walls. It's not really good yet but I'm patiently waiting. The water still feels and tastes the same.

Salt Free Softener NS6 - This is not a real water softener. This is only a Water Conditioner, and does not remove calcium from the system. The product is mislabeled and the vendor will try to require you to pay for the return shipping, or force you into a replacement, once you figure this out. Don't do business with a company like this.

Pelican Water Systems does their own installation and has no third-party vendors to deal with. I got their water system for the convenience, their price, and their expertise. Their sales consultant was a subject matter expert. He knew and could talk about the product, answered every question, and took care of our concerns. He conducted himself professionally. Then the installers showed up with ID in a company truck, knew everything that had to be done and did it. If I had any questions, they were answered. They all should continue being professional in every way. Now, we got rid of the chlorine and all the other stuff in the water. We're able to drink the water out of the tap so we're saving money on buying bottled water. It's safe enough to give our pets now because they were only drinking bottled or filtered water out of the refrigerator. Overall, a Pelican water system makes a difference in the water.

I live in the State of Oregon and we know that the city puts a whole bunch of chemicals and Fluoride in the water. And Fluoride is not good for your body. One of the reasons we've decided to go with this 'cause the Pelican filters out the Fluoride among other things. We ordered the whole house water filter over the internet and we had a plumber install it. I signed up for an automatic water small cartridge filter which goes ahead of the big filtering tank. I signed up for a renewal shipment on it every six months and that came through just like clockwork. On the first three days after installation the water started tasting better. The build up on the pipes was rid off. Pelican Water Systems works great.

I was interested in a water softener filtration so I began searching online. Pelican didn't have the lowest price but in reading the literature, I could understand it better than other company's, specifically the water softener feature and the name recognition. The sales rep was very good. He took his time with me whatever questions I had and I had several concerning the system and how it works. Also, I had an issue when I was installing and had a plumber out as I’m at a point in life where I don’t carry my toolbox everywhere I go so I'd gladly hire a pro when I can. Part of the system has a UV light for bacteria and I couldn't find it. The fixture was there but the lamp was missing. I called and he called right back even it was after-work hours but by that time, the problem was solved. It was still in its round cardboard tube that I had tossed down the trash.

Our experience with Pelican was good. I had an RO treatment before, but we moved to a new home so we looked for another treatment system. The sales consultant I went through with was excellent. He listened, he got me all the information, and he didn't pressure me. He did what he could and he did everything I asked him for as well. He was phenomenal. I bought the whole house filter and the softener, and I'm very happy with it. It's a great system. You should consider it.

Another water company came to my house in Wisconsin and left a bag with a sample on it. I thought it was the town leaving it so I gave them my water sample, and then they called me to come back and show me what was all in my city water and what was going on. They were going to charge me $8,000 for a system that had salt which I would have to keep redoing and putting in. We have basements so I didn’t want to haul bags of salt up and down there. So, after he left, I realized that I had a water issue and I didn’t even know it. I started researching online and found Pelican Water Systems. They’re salt-free and we won’t need an osmosis system to remove the salt so I really like their system a lot better. The salesperson that I dealt with was perfect and everything went smoothly.

We got a whole new Pelican system for the house and we've had it for a year and a half now. So far, so good. In fact, I'm getting ready to change the filter out and it seems they are working fine. I should probably check for softeners because I had the old softener where I put the salt in and do the ion exchange. I'm wondering to get away from the salt because when it does the backwash, so much water goes to waste. Pelican was so good in saying that there's no use of the salt and that there's no backwash so, I'd be saving some water. It's not that hard to believe that Pelican's system does what it does.

So, I definitely wanted to make sure I had healthy water. They say that the water in our area is good, but I always feel better if there's the reverse osmosis on it because you never know. I called them and they had a better deal via calling than on the internet. It seemed like every time I talked to the guy, the price came down $5 to $10. I talked to him about three times and the third time was when I purchased the purification system. It was also interesting talking to the sales guy because obviously, he knows a thing or two about purifying systems. My first job in the Army was water purification, so I’m quite familiar with varying qualities of purified water.

I had a friend who used to work with Pelican Water Systems and I bought a Pelican water filter about 7 years ago. I did the installation myself and it was easy. Ordering is also easy and doing everything online is simple. It's a great water filter system if they need something for rusts or sediments, and I've recommended them to a few people like my mom. I already ordered one for my mom and we just put it in a couple of weeks ago.

The average home has to dispose of 6,000 or more gallons of saltwater that is used to regenerate the medium in a salt-using water softener. We are on a well and near a creek, and if we dispose of that much saltwater, we would contaminate our own water supply. Sales consultant David was absolutely excellent. We looked at the different solutions that Pelican had, and this one was exactly what we needed. We had had our water tested twice, and it worked out beautifully. We purchased a full house water conditioner that is non-powered. Its resins simply change the calcium molecules, which like to grab on things, to non-grabbing or non-sticky calcium. It takes the hardness and lets it pass through rather than cling to all of the devices in our home. It’s guaranteed for life, takes no electricity, and I change a filter on the water going in only once a year.

Our water was very hard. My wife didn’t like it because it was not good for her hair and it also left spots on the countertops and behind the sink. I did a lot of research, compared water treatment systems, and decided on Pelican. Their rep was very informative and I thought it sounded like a good system to me. I guess you made a good decision.”

I’ve had a skin condition for four years and I’ve gone to many doctors to get this taken care of, and they’ve given me all sorts of diagnoses, creams, roll-ons and nothing would hit it. The water that we were bringing into our house from the well was full of bacteria, and even though we had a water softener, it just didn’t seem right. It was fairly easy to install. I put it on myself and everything was real simple. With it, the water feels more comfortable. It's also softer and comes out cleaner.

Three and a half years ago, I was at one of those outdoor-indoor fairs where they have all kinds of stuff on home improvement. At the time, I was in the process of buying a home and I was going to renovate the entire house, which included replacing all of the pipes and electrical. I figured it would be a great time to put in a whole home filtration system. The Pelican consultant was a local rep in the Phoenix area. They explained to me the way the system worked. When I was ready to buy it though, he had gone out of business, so I contacted Pelican directly and I worked with them out of Florida. They answered all my questions. I placed an order with them, they delivered it and it was error free. I also followed the instructions and the YouTube videos and did the installation myself.

The water here in Arizona doesn’t taste that good and it also has got a lot of minerals. And the home we moved into had a small reverse osmosis system which we don’t care for but actually adds acid. We had Pelican Water Systems at a previous residence and we were satisfied with it. So, we went with another one. We got the 600 model and it's carbon-based. We used the same contractor we did before and were satisfied with his service.

I went with Pelican because of their price and that they were close to us. Other estimates that I got were so far out. Also, the gentlemen that I spoke to when I called them. He was so helpful and explained everything to me. He told me what he had which sounded like what I wanted. I had one that had salt which I did not want. Everybody from Pelican was great. The service that the boys that installed the system, who were salesmen, seemed to be very professional and fair. They were very kind and seemed to know what they were doing. Since Pelican's system has been installed, the water's taste is so much better. And I don't mind cooking with the water out of the faucet. I'm happy as a clam and I'd tell my friends to get one. The way it's put in out there is very neat and I had compliments on how good it looks. It's been a wonderful experience with Pelican.

Pelican is a very reliable and knowledgeable company of water. They've been around for years, and I knew that. As I read more and got more educated, it made sense to talk to one of their salesmen, which enlightened me some more. With his answers and his confidence, I said, “Sure. Sign me in.” I went off with the sales rep's suggestions. He told me what's up and what the system would do. Also, he's a veteran like me, and I'm pleased that Pelican is out there working with a veteran. I understood clearly what the system was going to do. He sent me some extra filters for the smaller unit, too. I was on their website reading about some of the filters, and the website was easy to navigate through. The only issue I had was a little hesitation on soldering, but they got it done.

Our water was horrible and had bad odor. Pelican's sales rep came and tested the water. He showed me the meter and what it read. Once we went through the whole thing, I decided that I wanted to go with Pelican instead of the other company not only because of the maintenance, but also with how long it'd take to pre-fill and how frequently I would have to exchange it. I also considered the medium on how long would it last and would I have to do any work for the second tank which is one that does the salt-free. I got both the drinking and the salt-free systems and their website gives a broad idea as to what their product is all about. The installation was free and the guy who did the installation really knew what he was doing. He did it right right from the very beginning and explained everything though he was supposed to explain item by item.

We're very happy with Pelican. It's not as soft as a saltwater softener, but it's doable. The fact that we don't have to carry salt around and lift any bags is a real plus. We got the salt-free system because we were getting ready to retire and we didn't want to have to be figuring a salt bag, checking it up at the store, putting it in the cart and taking it out of the cart, and lifting it to the water softener. It was a lot of lifting that we did not want to have to deal with. We had a salt system before. My husband didn't like the real soft water, but I did. If you're one that does not like the real slimy effect, the Pelican salt-free water system is great. We've recommended our system to friends and they bought it.

We live in an area that has extremely hard water. The middle of Kansas is just a chop of a limestone bedrock. We didn’t want to do the salt added back wash systems, which is what most people have around. In addition to the Pelican system we also installed a double step of ceramic magnets on the water line coming into the house. We don’t get as much line in roughed in the system, but the Pelican filter takes out a lot of the roughed, which is a huge problem around here. It also helps take out the calcium in the line. If we didn’t use Pelican our faucets would corrode more often than every 10 years. If you’re looking for that silky feel of salted water, this is not for you. But if you’re looking for something that is ecologically much better, I would recommend Pelican.

We tried different things trying to get rid of bacteria in the water and we finally ended up with the Pelican UV system. We've had it for three years now and we have the bulb sent automatically every year. It's a water treatment system that doesn't take up much space and seems to work. The water tests came out safe since we've installed the system.

I've been with Pelican for quite a long time. I was with them when I had my first house years ago, and I lived in that house for 20 years. I had salt because I had well water, and I got a whole house filter for the water in the basement. Then I moved to another building, and the water there was hard. Before that, I was in another apartment and the water smelled like bleach. I got a Pelican system for drinking and I got one for the shower. Then I moved from there to another place and used the Pelican system there. I just moved into my new home and I hooked up the system here. I use it for both the shower and drinking water. Now when I shower, I don’t itch anymore. Everybody I talked to at Pelican was very courteous and kind. They took my order, I gave them my credit card number and they shipped the system out. They're nice people and every time I talk to them, there's no hard sell.

I had a lot of hard water and our plants were steering up previously. The system that I had was not working like I wanted it to and my brother-in-law heard a plumber talking about Pelican. I went into their website and looked up what I needed my five homes which they have. It was very easy and the sales rep told me exactly what size I needed. He also had the phone number for me to call if I had any more questions. He answered all my questions and even brought up some things I didn't even think about asking. He took it all the way down for me and didn't stop. He didn't hand me off. And when I called back, I got him again and he helped me the same way again. He was excellent.

I bought a whole house water treatment system from Pelican Systems. The water has a bad taste to it. I filled up a couple of clean white bowls and you can see the water has a tint to it. TDS shows over 280 ppm. The lint test show the alkalinity and ph are high. I've talked to two different tech at pelican about this and the only suggestion they could give me is spend more money on different test. All this is not too bad in my experience. The latest test I did at home was to leave some water drops on a silver lid used for cooking and the next day the water deposit left on the lid was so thick and hard I literary had to scrape it off with my fingernail. There is something really wrong with Pelican water. What should I do? I went ahead and disconnected my system I bought. Now I'm out over 3600.00. I'm not happy at all. Hopefully this message can get out to other people that own Pelican systems to check your water.

Our main house has perfect water and I grew up with it. When we built this lake house and drilled a well, they had sulfur water over there. We lasted three months with it. We would try to pour bleach down the well and it will cure it but it wasn't consistent. You put too much and you'd smell like bleach when you got out of the shower. The next week when you didn't put enough, you'd smell like rotten eggs when you get out of the shower. The Pelican rep was very understanding, knowledgeable and helpful. He understood my problems, asked the size of the house, got an idea of the water consumption and told us what system we needed. That's the system I bought and it's the best thing I've bought. It's a very good investment.

I was looking for was a shower head to cut the chemicals out of the water because I have rosacea on my face. Even the chemicals in the water affect it and so I wasn’t able to wash my hair or my face in the shower. I had heard a long time ago that there were shower heads that had filters in them. I went online, I did a search and Pelican Water came up. I first bought their shower head and I liked it, so I also purchased a filter from them.

Our city water lines are old and we had several breaks in the last six months, affecting large lines and the boil alert coming afterwards. We wanted to make sure the water was clean. Michael was our Pelican consultant and he was wonderful. He and I spoke three or four times before we made a purchase. I wanted to make sure it was the right thing to do, and he answered every question I had, and he gave me time to do research on my own and make sure I was making the right purchase. He never pressured us at all. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional and patient as well. I asked him the same question probably three or four times, and he never got tired answering the same questions to make sure that I was comfortable with the purchase before we did it.

Pelican Water Systems was referred by a healthcare professional. They suggested we get a water filter system because of the amount of chlorine and other similar-type substances that shouldn’t run over your body when you shower. So I put an order online and it came in the mail. I got the shower head that was attached directly to the unit. It's chrome coated that looks like it’s made out of metal but it’s mostly plastic. It has a long hose that comes up to the shower head. Pelican Water is a good company. However, I ended up paying a bit more for the filter. They had a discount option available that I applied and it took off the percentage that I normally would take. It didn’t work out to be the same amount off but it wasn’t really worth worrying about.

I moved into a house and the well water was an issue. I ran across an advertisement for Pelican online and tried them. I bought the little faucet and it was good. Pelican also sold me water filters which come every month on time like it's supposed to and leaves an email before they deduct the money. However, the filter didn't do anything for the rust in the water. But it did more than our refrigerator filter did so I like that. All I could do was purify the water that I drink as much as possible.

We were new homeowners,and a company has a partnership with the association here, so every time there’s a new homeowner that doesn’t currently have a water softener, someone comes over and does this whole horror show for how bad the water is. He showed the amount of chlorine in the water and also there was a bunch of funky white stuff, like limestone and a lot of heavy minerals. I was also given a whole chemistry presentation on their water softener and they were trying to charge me 7000 dollars. When he told me what the price was, I said, “Whoa. I knew my water was very hard and we’re having water spots. Guests would also complain about the taste. Also, all of the showers, stainless steel sinks, and even the white sinks would get water spots. Even though I’ve worked hard to get rid of them, they’re still developing. While discussing my water quality concerns, the Pelican Water Systems guy who talked with me was very knowledgeable, polite, courteous and helpful. The sales representative was excellent, too. I still have hard water spots, though.

My son has a Pelican system so I looked it up on the internet. It was easy for me to get through their website. I got a combo softener and alter UV and so far, it’s been super and it's made a big difference. Now my water doesn’t smell, I can drink it and I can take a shower with it. It’s also not hard anymore. The plumber guy who installed it called me, came in and he knew exactly what to do. He was top-notch and he's experienced in everything. He was very friendly and I really liked him.

I thought it'd be a good idea to have filtered water throughout the house to get rid of any contaminants that might be in the city water. I bought Pelican's system on their website and read the reviews before I bought it. Their website's well maintained and easy to navigate through. There's a whole question and answer thing on their website which answers just about any question I could have. I got a whole house water filter called a PC600 which is a 5 ft. tall filter which filters all the water coming into the house. I've had the filter for over 10 years and by now, the chlorine smell isn't in the water anymore and the water actually tastes better. I also have a friend that bought a system after I did.

I’m a plumbing and air conditioning contractor in New York. One of the customers has just gotten over breast cancer, and the doctor instructed them to get something that was going to remove the chlorine from the water. After doing a couple months of research on various water filtrations, I found that Pelican was the best one that suited our needs without taking up a lot of space with multiple canisters or being outrageously priced. Pelican is a giant walk of carbon that does everything I could ask it to do.

I have the shower filter and the above-counter drinking water filtration system. With these, the smell is 100% gone. I've used various shower filters over the years, and this is the only one that’s gotten rid of the smell. It's a very high quality system and I'm very pleased. Pelican is a very professional company. They have very good customer service and extremely fast shipping.

Having pneumonia for eight weeks and having to take antibiotics, I was on a mission to detox this year. I started with cleaning products, food and then I transitioned in to water. The nurse, practitioner, and doctor that I go to have a reverse osmosis system. I just started doing some research about that and I thought it looks pretty interesting, and the more I searched about it the more comfortable I became with it. Now I have a soft water system. The system I have puts the minerals back into your water. I was very pleased. There was also a guy on Youtube that was installing the same one and I’m like, “Sweet, this is great.”

The Pelican system I got does everything on its own. I just need to replace the filter, and I don't have to add salt to it. Their website could have been better, but the rep was very professional and it was a good experience.

I used to live in Winter Garden, and we had fabulous water there. I never even thought about having bottled water. Then we moved to Orange Park, and the water here is horrible. So, from the first three years I lived here I had a ReadyRefresh water service. And instead of continuing to pay for water to be delivered, I figured I can at least get a system, and once it’s paid off, I’d save that income. Everything that I did on Google kept pointing to Pelican Water Systems, so I gave them a call. I talked to Joe and he was fabulous. He came out and took his time. He didn’t make me feel like he had something else to do or that I wasn’t a priority.

14 years ago I lived in Florida, and Pelican was fairly popular in the neighborhood about that time. I came back up to the Northern Virginia area. My sister moved into a new house but was having problems with odors, smells, and flavors, and I said, “Why don’t you get a Pelican Water System?” She said, “I read about them. They're good.” She had her water system installed and she said it was the best thing since sliced bread and pop-tops on beer. She didn’t have to buy filters for a refrigerator or washing machine anymore.

I only had hard water here and coming from Idaho, I know the water in many places tends to have contaminants. I was not very impressed with the public water system and the filters they had. Since I could also get soft water at the same time from Pelican, I went ahead and purchased it. The sales rep was wonderful, courteous and very knowledgeable. Every contact I’ve had with them has been outstanding. Also, the system was easy to install. The piping here at the house is new so everything glues together, so it was a piece of cake. Now the water is nice and soft. I feel a lot better having the water filtered and having most of the contaminants removed.

I had had a different system that I set up. We had some real issues with the water heater for years and I saw what looked like an interesting approach to water purification. I gave Pelican Water Systems a call and they were really helpful in that regard and answered everything I ever had to ask about it. Then, I got the material shortly after that. I purchased a house water filter that uses charred coconut husks. I've had to replace the coconut filters every five years and call a couple of times to order filters. There's a great video online about how to remove the thing which is really helpful but I would end up calling them to confirm what I'm doing. Every time I've had to call about something, they've been really responsive and super helpful.

We filtered out water for decades and it's come up not too long ago about putting fluoride in the water. My wife spent a year and a half really researching them. The only two options were the bone char filter or reverse osmosis. But reverse osmosis isn't really good water because it takes everything out. So the only option we had was to go with the bone char. We knew exactly what it was and what we wanted when we bought the product from Pelican. Specifically, the type of bone char that they only use. It's the best quality that's available by cheaper stuff but it's a lot less quality.

The system I got from Pelican takes out the chlorine and everything from our water. We use the water for our tea, coffee, and also for cooking. The water tastes better now and it doesn’t have an aftertaste. Plus, we know it’s healthier. During installation, there was an issue with the gasket used to keep the water out, so it doesn’t go under the sink. It took a couple of times to get it to seal properly, but after that, it’s no big deal. It works great now. The unit and the faucet is very high quality. It’s a good product, and I’m happy with it.

I was looking particularly for very good, high-quality water -- no pesticides, no chlorine, or anything like that. I looked at very healthy, clean water and that was my only concern. I get all the information when I can on the internet but I asked the rep a few questions about the price, the time of delivery, or if they have any specials. I got the Pelican 3000, a two-filter system, for the whole house and I bought the kit for the installation. It was difficult to work with the pipes but the rest of the job was easy. The Pelican system is working better than the water softener we had before and I recommend it. So far, it’s very good and everything is working fine.

I was looking for a system that would weed out the basic contaminants to soften our water without having to install a whole external system since I live in a condominium. I was also looking for something that does not have to actually modify part of my house. I ended up buying Pelican's Crystal Quest filter as well as the basic system for the shower online. I installed it by myself and it was simple. What was confusing, however, was that if you buy a new unit, it would be cheaper than buying a replacement. It's an issue if I want to buy additional filters rather than buying brand new.

I started with 20-inch filters and a month ago, I replaced the UV filter. The system has been great and I have had them a little more than a year now. Pelican Water Systems' reverse osmosis water filter was fine but it's not really what I thought it would be. I had a problem with calcium build-up and my hot water heating system. I thought it would be done by an independent laboratory but it was done in-house with Pelican Water Systems. He offered up a water test and based on that, he provided me with the information of the system that I needed. I got the iron and manganese remover, equipped with the charcoal carbon filter. It was a pleasure watching him. With Pelican, our water tastes like I was hoping that it would all throughout the house. And just like the rep said, it’s just like bottled water. We had Culligan where we lived before but I like the Pelican system much better.

I purchased a condo that had a Pelican Water System in it. Once I discovered I had their system, I went to their website to see what I could find out about their system. I had a manual, which was a good starting point, and their 800-number. There are filters and parts that need to be replaced on a periodic basis. I've purchased supplies, filters, and parts, and their technical support staff has been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. One of the best I've talked to. I didn’t know how to operate the system and they have helped me get things to come out, as well as walked me through everything.

The Pelican System website was very simple as everything was right there. The sales reps did well as they've been right on with anything I called and asked about. My son found the presence of all these bad stuff in our water report. I ordered the Pelican system from the website, and the system cost me $1,000. I installed the system myself, and it was a little tough. But there was enough YouTube videos and instructions about it. I used the PEX but I've never used it before, so I had to go through the learning curve and study the YouTube videos on that, which wasn’t too tough. I’ve had one or two leaks and I just simply cut it out, redid the PEX in there, and it was fine.

So, I’d rather pay even if it cost $50 extra to run a test before and after.

We’re on a well system and the sulfur odor is really bad as well as the water discoloration. My husband ordered the system from the website. We got a big metal thing full of charcoal and a little blue thing that we replace the filter once a month. It’s cleaned up our water. I've been with Pelican Water Systems for over a year and they are great. In the summer, the water reserves go down and the water gets musky and hard, so I have poor tasting water in the house and it's noticeable in the kitchen for drinking. I have a water system that goes under the sink mount in the kitchen and I'm 100% satisfied with it. When I put in a new cartridge system, the effects on the smell and taste are immediate. Also, everybody has been helpful and amazing. I'm very pleased with them and I'll always use them as long as it stays like that.

I purchased a new property and we're on well water so I wanted to make sure I have the best possible water. I'd like to keep business inside my state so I purchased from Pelican Water since they're in Florida and I'm in Florida. I bought the PC600 Whole House Water Filtration System and the delivery was swift and very quick. The system was installed and it works well. However, their website is a bit outdated and it's hard to find replacement parts such as cartridges. They could do a better job in designing their website and make it a bit easier for people to find stuff. Other than that, the quality of their product is great. As far as customer service, the order that I had put through and the materials I received were outstanding. My experience with Pelican was awesome and I'm extremely satisfied.

I have had Culligan and Whirlpool before and I wasn't happy with those. Pelican seemed really nice and I was impressed with it. Their rep was helpful and I bought the system that goes under the sink and has seven filters. I absolutely love it. It’s the first time I've ever had clear ice cubes and that lets me know that the system works. I’m happy and I know that my water is good.

Everything was good with Pelican Water Systems. We had them for they are a salt-free system and my wife cannot have salt in her diet. Their sales representative was very nice and informed during the consultation. The Pelican installers were excellent. They were neatly dressed and they introduced themselves. There were mud, chromium and other stuff that I don't want to be drinking in our water. I googled different water systems and Pelican's seemed to be the best one. Discussing the water quality concerns with their sales consultant was a good experience. I filled out online and called a couple of times and their reps were very helpful. I originally ordered one of the filters but I canceled it because I was under the impression that it was taking out the heavy metal stuff rather than just softening the water. It wasn’t clear to me that it didn’t do that even though it wasn’t listed on their website. But on the reverse osmosis one, it listed everything there so that part of the website was really great. I ended up purchasing the reverse osmosis for the tap and it was good. The installation was easy. I watched YouTube videos and installed it myself. So far, the Pelican system has been great. The water tastes really good and it works fine. We’re really happy with it.

I wanted a soft water system and I need one in where I live, so I ordered the salt-free water softener online from Pelican Water Systems. However, nobody came down to check my water from their outlet so I had someone come down and do it, and they said it's very hard. I had calcium in it and had a lot of spots on my faucets. We’ve had the system for around eight months now and I noticed the difference since installing it, but my wife didn’t and said she still got spots on the sinks. But it is good and was very easy system to install.

I was watching QVC where I saw an ad for Pelican Water Systems and I ordered from there. Our regular water supply is not satisfactory and I don’t like drinking anything that doesn’t even smell good. If I pour a glass of our water and let it sit for a few minutes in the sun, I can see trash in it. I didn’t like that. The Pelican Water reps were excellent and they did all that they could to recommend the proper solution. I got a top of the counter filter system with the diverter and two hoses. I’ve tried other filters and I’ve had a good look at some of them. It's inconvenient to have to run our water through a filter and a pitcher, while it’s more convenient to just move the diverter switch and get good, clean water. I did have a minor problem with the diverter on it because it was leaking so I had to order a replacement filter recently. But the system is doing what I want it to do. The water is definitely much better and has a much better taste to it.

We've had their system for three years now and the water doesn't taste anything, which is good. I recommended Pelican to a few people that were considering a salt-free system. There are challenges with the system, but if people are considering it, I would say that I have had a generally good experience and the system works fine.

I purchased a Pelican Water System 2 years ago believing it would be better and healthier than my 30 year old salt system. It did cost 3 to 4 times more than a replacement salt system. They said it would take a few months to clear the old sediment out of the existing plumbing. So here it is two years later and we just had a whole house inspection because of terrible waster pressure and low functioning toilets.The plumber said for the faucets and showers most of major problem was sediment built up in all of the screens and traps. And that the sediment causes water to spew the entire wall. The plumber also said the sediment has blocked the interior water flow so the toilets don't flush properly (solids take 3 flushes). The plumbers' last remark was "your water softener doesn't work".

We have hard water in this area so, I wanted something to hopefully descale or make it a little bit softer without all the salt and the expensive normal type of conditioning system. I stumbled on to Pelican Water Systems online then I called them and they seem to be very knowledgeable. The sales consultant answered my questions. After that, I ordered online a whole system, salt-free, for my home. It's on my main water line now. Since using it, I have to take off the faucet heads and empty those because there are chunks of scale coming out. The system must then be working.

Knowing that the stuff that’s in our water these days is not too healthy, I’ve been interested in treatment systems a long time. I ordered the Pelican shower system online but I had a unique situation. My shower is pretty small and with the way the thing was set-up, it was stuck way out in the middle of the shower. It wasn’t usable so I was trying to find a solution for that. They told me information but they couldn’t help me. I ended up getting a little chrome elbow thing and turning it sideways. The thing with the shower head hooks to the hose when between there. I put a little adapter that I had for my old filter so that it fits on the wall then stuck it to the wall. It works really well and it doesn’t stick way out but it took me a while to get it all figured out. I am a satisfied customer and I’m happy with the product. I’ve been using it for quite a while now and will continue to use it.

We bought a piece of property that we knew had manganese, sulfur, and iron in the water so we looked for water softeners. The Pelican Water sales guy answered a few questions for me but their website pretty much explained everything with the videos. I bought their product that handles manganese and iron, and it also had the big chlorine tank. The product arrived in good time, and I had no problems. It was a good experience.

The Pelican sales rep was excellent and he explained everything. We had the salt-less system from them. The one with two silver containers and carbon filter. The guy that came and installed the Pelican system was absolutely fantastic. He was very helpful and he went over the whole system with me. He cleaned up and he didn’t make one piece of mess. Since having the system, my wife doesn’t have itchy skin or allergies anymore. There are also no more marks in the shower and the water tastes better.

I returned the water system, Pelican Water demanding $500 Re-stocking fees!! After I place the order we had some problem with foundation of our building. We ask the shipping company to return the unit to merchant. Pelican Walter Systems aka Enviro Water Solutions LLC first ask for $1000 then reduce to $500 for shipping charges!! Today I received another email and saying this fee is for restocking fees?? I ordered over the phone the salesperson never mentioned about re-stocking fees.

People should definitely buy Pelican Water if they want to clean up their water. I did a little bit of internet research, found them, and they had good reviews. They understood my water quality issues perfectly and setting everything up was very easy. I told them what I needed and got the order right. They’ve shipped it right and installed easily. I purchased the sand filter and then the sulfur elimination system. And it has cleaned up the water quite nicely. Everything’s been good.

The first guy who came here was telling me about soft water and how badly we needed it. I came out of Minnesota where we had 42 grains hard water, and down here in Florida, it's 9. When I asked how much was it, he said, "Totally installed and fully guaranteed, its $10,300." I was hit up by about four or five of these outfits with high pressure, one call closed type deals.

I'm on a well system and was looking for an iron system and a water softener system for a three bedroom house. I ended up purchasing the salt water softener system through Pelican Water and I did an iron system through another place. I had a pretty good experience with Pelican Water. The sales rep was very informative and helpful. I went on their website and it was really easy to use and understand. Since the installation, the water is a lot clearer and the system seems to be doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

We’ve had the Pelican for about three years now and we got their system for the UV light. Not realizing that Pelican was supposed to send me the UV light every year, I changed the number on our credit card and they couldn’t access it. They sent me an email about the card but I ignored and deleted it months ago because of all of the commercial stuff I got and the incident of my wife having cancer. Yet I keep a record of when I change the filter and the light so when I looked at it, I saw that I had not changed the filter and we had not received the UV light. Then I called them, found out what was going on and we straightened it out. They sent me the light and it had been well. I also had one occasion where the light was new but the red lights were on one or two months after changing it. I called them about it and they sent me a new one without charge.

The water from my well was tested and came back positive for E. coli, and I started looking into water treatment systems online. Pelican Water’s website was straightforward, easy to navigate, and everything there had a good explanation. My water quality issue and the recommended solution were straightforward. I bought a water softener and a carbon filter from Pelican, and my purchases were very well-packaged and came fast. During the installation, the outside canisters were put in loosely, which was bizarre, but the canisters just sat there so that didn't matter. Since I've had the water treatment system from Pelican, my water tastes great, like SmartWater. All in all, I had a great experience with Pelican.

The reps were helpful whenever we spoke to them and the system was installed a couple of months ago. It’s been working great and very easy to work with. We don’t have to put salt in it every couple of weeks. Now, we don’t have to change our faucets out and clean all of them every month or two. Also, our heating element in our hot water on demand don’t get so full of lime that it stops working and the flow is free. We’re happy to use a salt-free system.

I bought the NS6 and ever since using it, I have felt the difference on my body and its good for my skin. But one of the biggest difference I have seen was with my daughter. I got online and ordered a shower filter with the handheld head. After installing it, the water didn't have that chlorine smell anymore. The only problem I had was that the hook that hooks up to the thing that comes out of the showerhead was plastic. And after a week of using it, it broke. I called them and they said that I have warranty, so they sent me out a whole new system. It seems to be doing fine now. They fixed the problem that I had and I'm happy with the system. I was looking for something very simple and efficient and Pelican’s sales consultant was knowledgeable. That's what made me steer towards the Pelican product. I got a one ball cylinder and a sediment filter, and I had it installed in the beginning of summer. However, I was kind of surprised about the installation kit that I bought that went along with it. I did some investigating and the kit prior to what I received was more assembled than this one. Fortunately, I'm an electrician so I was able to do the plumbing myself without an issue. It worked fine after that. But if you don’t know what you are doing, you should have a plumber install it.

The house I bought already had a Pelican water system. It comes with a grouping to the tall blue units and the pre-filter. When I had questions about it and I bought a couple of components, I spoke with someone over the phone and he was extremely helpful. He also pointed me to some videos that I didn't find from their website. It's good but it isn't a great website and there's more that they could do with it.

I saw a Pelican system at a friend's house. I looked it up to see what it is and was impressed that it is low maintenance. We bought the PSE1800 and Pelican sent me different links that we can use for the installation. I thought they would do the installation but they sent the equipment and I have to either do the installation myself or hire somebody to do it. That was a little bit of a surprise for me but it's no big deal. All the YouTube videos and all their advice helped a lot.

I live in Bisbee, Arizona where the water is very hard water and also the Naco-Mexico Sewer Plant is upstream from the well that sources the Bisbee water. The Pelican Water System I got has a tank that I have to change the filter every six months. It's not the complete system but it works in conjunction with the water softener I already had which is still working. The people at Pelican have been easy to work with and their product is a good one.

Pelican PSE1800 water softener system - The connectors on the bypass valves are plastic and only few threads go into 1' copper fitting. Although PVC fitting is compatible, it cannot withstand the pressure. Although I used PVC because of it was easy, it burst after few months, flooding the basement. Although I changed into copper, the plumber warned me that it could start leak because of the plastic to copper connection is only few threads. When I called the company, they told me that NO metal threaded fitting is available and they advised me to go with copper to plastic with Teflon tape! You will need an experienced plumber to install the copper fitting otherwise the plastic fitting can melt during sweating the connectors! If the tanks are to be disconnected for any reason, such as leak on any joints, the whole plumbing have to be cut away and start all over again! The unit does not come with any connectors to connect to the main. I did not expect this for such an expensive system!!!

We've had it for 30 days, and I'm sure that our water pipes were really in bad shape. We noticed that the white calcium is getting less on our fixtures and my dishes are coming out a lot cleaner. I'm happy with Pelican, but it's going to take a while to clean everything out in our system, so I still don't drink the water from it. Hopefully, it will keep getting better and we’ll be able to do away with the old water. I'm happy with the system so far.

I was looking online for something that takes fluoride out. Pelican Water looked like it was the best bang for the buck and they did a good job. I ordered online the reverse osmosis after talking to them on the phone. It was more than just the fluoride. It was the whole bit under the counter. I placed it underneath my mother’s sink because she already had one that removed chlorine and impurities. She had the whole house filtered but she didn’t have anything that would take fluoride out. My bones feel stronger and my teeth are better since having it. I’m 67 and I’m running faster than I ever have in my life. It’s a good system so I’m hoping it’ll last a long time.

I've also used their website to order stuff and we just redid the filters which was overdue.

There's a lot of iron ore around where this particular system was placed. Then all of a sudden, there was a lot of yellow mud in the water. We sent a water sample to Pelican Water Systems and the young man did everything for us and was extremely helpful. They then sent us everything that we needed to get together, and it worked. We got the filter that takes out the iron residue and there was a whole pallet full of stuff as well. Then while we're at it, we went ahead and got the softener as well. I bought this for my son and now I'm thinking of doing a softener for my house as well. There's no more mud and iron on the water and the soft water is impressive. With just one one touch of dishwashing detergent, it got suds coming out of the wazoo and it's also good for our hair. Also, we can make coffee out of that water which was awesome. I was very pleased with Pelican and I would recommend it to anyone.

I went to the doctor and my phosphorus level was high. So I had our water analyzed and it was high in phosphorus, calcium and lime. I looked at our water system and called the local company but I wasn’t impressed. So I called Pelican and the Sales Consultant was sweet. She answered all my questions and I was impressed with them. I’ve got well water and I purchased a no-salt filter and the RO systems under the sink. Since having Pelican, the trees are growing better, the coffee tastes different and I’m feeling better as well. Even my dogs are feeling better. Their coats are shinier and their eyes are clearer. I’m living a dream and really pleased.

I've had a very positive experience with Pelican. I have the PC600 water filter system. The system had been purchased by the previous owner of the house and I continued using it. I've been using it for 5 years now and I love it. I would not be without it even if I moved out of this home. My skin is very sensitive to stuff and with it, my skin feels better. Also, I've asked Pelican's customer service about the filters and the frequency of changing and I had pleasant interactions with them.

I got the shower with the shower head with the little thing that goes into it. So the water system turned out well, but it would be way easier if there's an installation team because it wouldn't take that long for them.
