We moved to Mesquite, Nevada and the water system there was terrible. Their arsenic level was so high, I couldn't drink the water, and I was tired of doing bottled water. I have diabetes so I can't use a system that needed to add salts to the water. So, I started researching on the internet and I came across Pelican. It had everything I absolutely wanted, the full house. I researched all the different set ups that they had on their website and I came across the one that I bought and I like it. I got two tanks along with the filters and I change the filters every six months. The guy who came out and installed it explained everything to me, and he did a great job. There was a tremendous difference since having the Pelican system. They settled the arsenic problem and I like my water better. Also when I needed stuff, I'd order it and it would get here in just a few days. To me, that was very special. I have recommended them to several people.

I'm aware of the quality of water and the chlorine content in the water and the toxicity so I researched online for water treatment systems. Then I bought the showerhead and the filter from Pelican Water Systems. They originally sent me a package that wasn’t complete but they rectified it quickly.

I chose Pelican over others. It's not like a regular water softener. I had one of those, and you can't even water plants with it. If you can't water plants using it, I thought why should I drink the water with all the salt and everything that comes with it? I have had Pelican Water for four years now. I got it on a special deal and they delivered it to me pretty quick. I ordered it online and I order my filters online as well. When I ordered my Pelican water treatment, I had a couple of questions. I called and they were answered right away by their team. It took me less than half a day to install it. I changed my filters frequently. I put them in white and they come out black. But the water tastes very good. I don't have a problem with it at all. Moreover, we don't use as much soap since having Pelican. I have recommended Pelican to my daughter and her husband.

The installation team was timely, clean, very friendly and professional. The water is a lot better and my wife loves it. I have recommended them and two of my neighbors went with them.

After that, I continued to use their website to explore the different options and their characteristics. I needed a filter for the shower and they had something that addressed that need so I thought I'd give it a shot. Even if I go to other websites, it seemed that what Pelican was offering was more studded to the water concerns that I had. I saw the sales information online and then I ordered the filter and it came in the mail.

I wanted to make sure that I'm not getting all of the toxins that are in the tap water, especially if I'm taking a warm shower. There are enough toxins in the carpets, wood, air conditioning and the things that we can't really avoid. Our skin is our largest organ so it's taking in everything that it touches. The system was installed by my boyfriend and it seems easy. I feel better now and I have more peace of mind. I'm glad that a product like this exists.

They recommended one particular whole house unit and I purchased it. The website was easy to maneuver and ordering parts were painless. I had a plumber friend come in who never installed one before but it went very easily. He knew exactly what to do and installed it without any problems. He’s very comfortable with it.

I bought a whole house water filter with a carbon filter and reverse osmosis filter and some other specialized filters. I needed help studying up some of the electronics on it, and they were able to help me remotely. They sent me all the parts and helped me to assemble it. I'm in the Coal Region between Western Pennsylvania and Appalachian highlands, so there's a lot of clay that comes in. I was trying to get the clay out of the water that was coming out of the well and into the house. I put in a dual filtration system on the incoming water line. And even though I have to change the two filters on a monthly basis, it's been working fine. Then, I went ahead and purchased the PC-80 RO System from Pelican. It is supposed to give me a more purified water for drinking and take all the impurities out of it, but it isn't doing the job. I have to buy from a local bottle water service.

I purchased the shower head that's not stainless with the filter and since having it installed, I'm not as sensitive to the chlorine as I was. There's still some residual chlorine that comes through that filter but I certainly notice the difference. Pelican has a very fast service and I already have recommended them to a friend.

So, at this point, I'm impressed with Pelican Water Systems and I hope that I'll be equally impressed with the product.

I had a RainSoft system in my house and every time we would have a thunderstorm go through, they would knock off the timing motor and I would have to replace it. Then, doing some research on drinking water with a salt softener system, they said it wasn't really good to drink with the salt in the water if you have blood pressure issues. Checking out different systems, I came across Pelican saying that you get great drinking water from it. So, I went in and ordered the system.

It has a filter that comes with it and when I change the filter, it's always filthy so it filters out all that dirt that you would normally get in your water. My water is way better now. It is softer, cleaner and tastes better. Overall, I highly recommend Pelican Water. It's a great system.

We got the PSE2000 model and we saw a lot of change in our water quality. The tests were good, too. However, the installation was hard work for us. We hired a professional plumber to do it. Pelican could make a model that's easy for installation which we can do ourselves.

Here in our town, there is too much chlorine in the water. But after we put the Pelican Water Systems in, the drinking water is 100% better than before. We have the system under our counter top and a second one is in the shower. I didn't use the shower before because I can smell the chlorine on my body. Now, that's much better too. We've had the system for four years now and we've been happy. However, our shower blew out for the third time and it looks like somebody cut the middle and the water is coming all over. Pelican sent me another filter which I had to pay because they told me I have to change this every six months. But this is not good. The shower filter is plastic but it has to be a little stronger. Other than that, everything has been fine.

I had to hire my own plumber because that’s the way they do it. The installation instructions was very confusing to me when I looked at it, though, and it could’ve been a little clearer. I've had a very good experience with Pelican Water. I'm a health professional and I came across them when I was researching different systems online because I wanted to improve the water, which was more potable than drinkable, that I get out of my well system. I got into it because somebody started counting the benefits of using Alkaline water. I was set up to use a bottled water called Arrowhead, but it’s only out west. They directed me towards Zephyrhills Water in this vicinity, which I was already familiar with. Although it’s what I use for drinking water, I was looking for something to improve. I then started looking at documentation, and proof of different companies and there's none. Everything was just sales pitch.

When one would dig down to the dirt in this region of the country which is the northern Midwest, it's all limestone and under which lay high-sulfur coal beds all over the place. So, sulfur water is probably the most common water problem one would find here. When mountain homes blew up, Science discovered that there's a bunch micro-bacterial critters that live in sulfur beds that eat the sulfur and poop out sulfur hydroxide and all of this stuff that makes soft water smell like eggs and cause these little black things in the water. We discovered that the secret was to kill the little bugs with the chlorination process and then to re-filter out the chlorine.

I’m a follower of The Food Babe and she had a talk about water filters on her site and I was looking into it. It made sense so I got one. The filters are plug and play and super easy to install. It wasn’t 10 minutes in and out so no big deal. Pelican’s website was easy to use and I was able to sign up for the filters without a problem. I’ve had the system now for about a year and a half so I've had a couple of renewal filters sent to me without any issue. Pelican is great and I love it!

one is a carbon filter, the other one is some natural type of filter. The little one can be changed out every six months. But I think I want something a little bit better than this. I have this little computer thing that could tell how high the PC is. I’m at 550 right now and then my parents, at 250. That’s really good and I’d like to get it to at least where my parents’ are at.

I bought two of the shower filters along with the shower nozzle. Purchasing them was very easy but one of the cradles of the shower nozzle wasn't staying up, so the shower nozzle kept facing straight down. They sent out a new one and I was perfectly happy with it. The rep was fantastic and he understood exactly what I needed and helped out right away. Now, our water is softer and our hair feels better. It doesn't take so much soap to lather up so it's working out well.

Thereafter, Salvatore Plumbing came out to install the system and they couldn't have been nicer. Since having the system, our water has been softer. It is the perfect system for us.

My Pelican Water System is in the Philippines. The wells there are shallow and the soil is all volcanic and very deep. The deeper you drill, the blacker the water gets so there’s no point in going for an artesian well there. What you get is water from the surface soil and the system is being used to purify it before it’s consumed. The tests have all turned out to be negative for bacteria and other toxins so apparently the system is working well there. I ended up with the magnet softener, the carb and the filter, the sand filter, the cloth sand filter, and the ultraviolet light. The system can purify the water to the point where it’s even being used for ice and the water is apparently very pure after it comes out of the system. Overall, the product seems to work fine and functioning okay. It's been there almost two years now and it’s rolling along quite nicely.

I'm on a water well which led me to look into water treatment systems. I called Pelican Water, told the sales consultant what I was interested in getting and purchased the pre-filter, carbon filter and the UV light. The reps are easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Also, their website was fine but I'm older so I tend to like to do things verbally. The Pelican system has been very good overall. We have good water anyway but it's reassuring to know it's there.

There was tannin in the water. I reached for Pelican Water and got the tannin extractor, but the water's not completely cleared up so we're going to address that with them. But so far, everything has been fine. Overall, I would consider Pelican a good company.

I was looking to cure water hardness so I was searching the internet. I found Pelican Water Systems website and called right away. They were very informative and helpful but couldn't really answer any questions 'till I sent them a water sample, which I did. Then they called me right back and recommended the water softener combo system. Since it was installed, it has cured my sediment problems, particles getting in my water and are plugging up shower heads. But as far as the hardness of water or drinkability, I can't tell the difference in that. I still need to take a water sample to find out. Other than that, it was a good company.

I'm very satisfied with Pelican.

I’m very happy with Pelican, and I’m very glad that I went with it. Although, the water is still sometimes a little bit hard and I sometimes find water stains. In the beginning, I called them and told them what I was looking for and then they shipped the filters and the product to me. They’re very informative and helpful on the phone. The only part that was a bummer was there isn’t any office on the West Coast of Florida. They could have come to the house and check things out, but instead, I had to have a plumber to install it. Other than that, I’d recommend them.

I have also gone online to purchase filters. Their website is fast, efficient, easy to navigate. The system has definitely made a difference throughout the house. No chlorine smell, no sulfur smell. I'm happy to have the system.

Five years ago, my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to filter our water system. She found Pelican first and shortly afterwards, I followed suit. We both hired a local specialist to install it which was fine. We’ve been getting the small filters and replacing those. And then, it was over five years old before I realized the carbon filter had to be replaced. They tell you, “You can do it yourself.” My husband is handy but looking at the instructions and it's in our basement and having to do with the water, the carbon that has to be dumped out, he said he cannot do it by himself. I called my girlfriend who also replaced hers and her husband said the same thing. He said, “They tell you it's a piece of cake, but it's really not.” She ended up calling Pelican and had them on the phone while her husband went about changing the filter. And theirs was in their garage and up on a mount so, it was even trickier.

From online to delivery everything couldn't be better. Easy website, great service and a great product. Have use this filter for the past three years. Easy to install, easy to put a new cartridge and awesome 96% chlorine free water. Thank you very much.

I used to have a water system years back at another home I had. It was the type where you had to put salt in it to operate it. The new ones now, you don’t have to. It’s more efficient and less energy used in order to operate it. I had been seeing a company on the internet for quite a few years. I looked through it and I purchased the Pelican Water System online. The website was easy to navigate and the water system looked pretty. I wasn’t ready to buy a whole system, though. I just wanted a filter for the shower for my wife and me. Maybe one day I might look into doing a whole system, but with the way my house is set up, it’s gonna be very difficult to set one up.

I've been using Pelican Water Systems for years. I've liked it and I've got other people using it too. My first goal was to have clean water for my shower. Eventually, Pelican Water Systems must have come up and so I bought it. I wanted to make sure I have clean water with a hot shower. I had the wand with the shower filter. I went along with the white because I have the white. I even bought one for my sister. So, I got her the whole thing because she liked it. I love the Pelican Water Systems and I also love my shower. It's real soft water. It's nice and I had my family use my shower and they can't believe their hair felt better. Also, I'm healthier because I'm not getting the chlorine on my skin. I take very long showers so I was worried about that.

I searched online for a water treatment system and ordered the water softener combo system. That's a whole house system from Pelican Water. It was good. I just wanted to clean up the water, make sure to get all the taste out and it's done its job.

We just bought a house and knew that the water was hard. The house had an old system that was just salt and I didn't want a salt tank so I looked for a filtration system for our house and went primarily about Pelican Water's ratings learning all on research. We got two houses, one in Dallas and this was for our house we bought in Houston so, it was a second home. The sales rep and I had it worked out, getting the product to me and then I will transfer it down there and find an installer based on his recommendations and I had a little bit of problem with the recommended installer. The equipment that they used to install not only had a big break in it but it burst where the water line went into the system.

So I called the company and I got through to a technical support guy and we figured out what I needed. He was very helpful and showed me what I needed. I ordered filters which were like cloth filters. And then, the five-year part was a heavy bag of carbon dust so I needed the neighbor’s help to hold the tank while I poured the carbon in but it all worked very well. I was very pleased and I had a good experience. The water is conditioned better. I don’t have the system back in Massachusetts but my wife says it's better when you wash your hair and the water is softer and it feels cleaner.

I found Pelican Water on their website, started reading about their system, talked to them extensively about it and decided to give it a try. I’m on my third house now with my third system in it, and I won’t have a house without it. I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. The only complaint that I have is when you do a whole house system, it automatically puts a UV in there and you have to search around to get a whole house system without the UV. When I bought a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen from Lowe's, I had also intended to buy a shower apparatus but they didn’t have anything made. I went on the internet and Pelican Water Systems popped up and looked like the best I could come up with. I also liked the appearance and the general outline. The person I talked to answered all my questions and did the explanation the best he could. I was interested in knowing how to change the filtering material and he made that pretty clear to me. Pelican's site did a good job, too. It had the instructions for installing a whole house system.

Our experience with Pelican Water Systems has been good. I've ordered several primary filter replacements and they appeared to be doing a good job because they're very discolored when I take them out. We live down on the coast of Mississippi and we got a tremendous amount of magnesium and iron. It's mostly stinky water but these last filters that I've been getting from Pelican seem to be doing a better job and the filters last about four to five months. I was close to replacing the media in the main tank but I noticed the difference after we put the system in. I talked to their reps and asked them about different filters that I could use to get the sulfur hydroxide odor and it's taken care of that. We've got three bathrooms and it's only my wife and myself so we don't use a lot of water. But occasionally, I still see the black ring show up in the toilets. So, the filtering system is working 80%-85%. It does good but I probably should have bought a bigger one.

We had too many tannins in our water and it was so yellow that I used a soluble substance to clean my husband’s things, but the laundry was where I could not take it anymore, putting something in the washer and getting it out dirtier than it was when it went in. The only challenge was what size and what components we need and we landed with the water softener, the carbon filtration product, UV filter and the pre-filter for the whole house. It was very cost-competitive. We had our local plumber install it and it worked out very nicely.

We were building a new house and because we had to have a deep well, we knew that we were going to need a water system. So my husband researched on the internet and then ordered a combo water treatment system from Pelican wherein the water comes out of the well, but it's for drinking. The system has two tanks with two or three pieces on the top. The well was built with the house and when we changed the filter for the first time, it was really nasty. The water had a lot of rust, but we knew that. After the Pelican system was installed, everybody that comes to the house and has a drink of water says, "Jesus. That's good." You never know that it's well water. However, at one point during the installation of the system, some of the connectors were of a really brittle kind of plastic and we had to have them replaced as they were getting installed because they would crack. My discussion with their rep only took about 10 minutes. I just told their rep the water conditions I had and that I needed a treatment system. I ended up purchasing the whole house well water deal. Their sales consultant created a shopping cart for me, he sent me an invoice and I sent him a check. Once he received the check, he sent the items. However, there was a leaking stainless steel vessel with the VIQUA UV system. They sent another one but they could’ve been a little quicker. Plus, when they shipped the whole system, the UV system was shipped directly from VIQUA and it took them a while. Nevertheless, it's all up and working and we can drink the water now.

We got a Pelican 2000 Water System about seven years ago. When we came here to Florida I went online and looked for water systems because all of the water runs through limestone so it's hard water. When their name came up, we looked at the reviews and it seemed good and has a good price. When I first got it, they said, "We'll call you in five years and we'll set your price for it right now", and that's the price that I paid. And recently, they called me after five years and said, "It's time to change your carbon filter." It was really nice that they notified me and I didn't have to put it on my calendar. They also explained everything to me, what was going on and about the softener rigs. It prevents calcium from scaling on your pipes. Since having Pelican System, my water has been fine and I'm very satisfied.

Also, I didn’t like the fact that I’ll need to drag salt, so I got the Pelican. I went over to their office in Deltona and looked at the systems and purchased the one with the two tanks on it. It's a filter and a softener. I like the system because it has the filtration. The salts have been better because we're still getting spots and the water's not that soft as it used to be. Then I was trying to recommend them. I called the corporate office in Deltona because somebody came by and liked my system. Nobody ever returned my call, so I dropped the issue.

The Pelican Water system was put in our house before we moved in. It was a new house and the contractor had installed the system. We have it down now to a system. It has a smaller micro-filter that we change every six months. My husband does that and he has no problem with it. We're having a problem with our well, and we got the book out to read it and realized we were supposed to change the carbon in the one tank after five years. And we've been there eight and a half years. We sent Pelican an email and asked about ordering the carbon and stuff, and the man was very nice and explained what we needed. I also ordered a box of filters at the same time. And then I emailed him and asked if it was something my husband could do or if we needed to hire someone. He then said that they'd send directions and it would be very simple. My husband was able to do it with no problem. Everything was fine.

I got the PSE1800 which cleans up the water very nicely and there's no foul smell because well water has a tendency to carry a little bit of salt also depending on where you live and the quality of the aquifer. It's a good product and I'm very satisfied.

My desert water is terrible, and Pelican makes it softer so that I don't have to use a ton of water to take a shower. And my wife says that it makes her hair a lot easier to manage. I've got the two class system, the charcoal and softener, and the small little filter that gets the major dirt.

I have been a Collagen Water customer for many decades and everything about it is terrible. Pelican has been on my radar for years but without a brick and mortar in town, I was a little bit trepidatious. But top to bottom, it was an amazing and perfect experience with Pelican Water. They even recommended a local plumber, Patrick, who was familiar with them and the thing just start to finish was so pleasant. The product is superior and the price is good for the value you're getting. We have a getaway home in Vermont and I will buy a system for there. It's such a pleasant thing to do business with good people, and I wish all business could be like that.

Pelican was easy to install. My only thing was that there's no reason to go to a 1" PVC from the standard 3/4" that's in the house. A 1" PVC is difficult to find and I'm not quite sure why they went to that from 3/4". But the chlorine smell has definitely gone away.

We got the Pelican water softener and water purification system because the water where we live is hard. Their sales consultants were very nice on the phone. They spent a long time explaining the system, talking about the numbers that we got from our water company and what was in the water. When we were having it installed, we again called them and they were very helpful and patient in giving us useful information. I'm very satisfied all the way around with the product, ease of installation, and definitely their support. We now see a difference in our clothes and how my hair feels. Also, we used to have water splashes and had so much of residue in it but now, it’s not quite that way any more.

The premium shower filter will not stay steady, the shower head wand has already started spraying out to the side. The shower wand will not stay fixed. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I wished I had not ordered this item.

I bought the Whole House Water Filtration softener system and we’ve been happy with it so far. However, I wish they could be a little bit clearer online about the installation kit. Nowhere in the box for the shower refill is anything about simply twisting off the part with the filtering elements and twisting a new one on. I spent the last hour dealing with removing the old shower unit, screwing off the shower wand etc. Not sure if you recommend a fresh install instead of just a filter switch. Please clarify or at least re-do your instructions to make changing filters less of an ordeal! Other than that so far my experiences with your product has been ideal.

I bought a saltless water filter from Pelican Water filters because I was having trouble with hard water stains in my shower around my faucets and on my brick outside from my sprinkler system. I talked to the sales person and he said that this was definitely the one I needed. That it would help with all that so I decided to purchase it (I got the bigger one since I have a sprinkler system to make sure it would work). Unfortunately it didn't. I installed it the way it was suppose to be, let a month go by to make sure it got all the hard water out the lines. Overall experience very good due to James at Ext **. Absent part at Drain Connection Assembly cause undue grief since wrong part included which prevented Drain tubing to be connected to drain. Other problem is that Pelican should also include stainless steel faucet. Most homes use stainless steel appliances not Chrome or Copper. This needs to be addressed. James was fantastic in helping me with everything. He made the sale possible.

They were great when they did the installation, showed us how to work it and told us, “You’re still going to have some build-up but it’s in there now for your entire house.” They gave us a lot of good connections where we were able to access everything without having to bend down or get under something. That way we could just cut the water off there whenever we go out to change it. They gave us a lot of instructions on how to replace everything and when to replace the tank.

The staff from Pelican Water Systems were very professional. I like their products and I'm using it now. I live in South Carolina, so my water is not the greatest. With the system from Pelican, there's a big difference. The water is not as hard. It's a lot softer on your body. Their system is a good product.

We’re very happy with our Pelican water system. For the shower, the soap is more sudsier like soft water. It’s easier to shave, and the water definitely tastes better from the kitchen sink. I'm happy with it and recommend it.
