We had lousy water and decided to have the Pelican water system for iron installed. Our water has been significantly better since. Also, the reps we talked with were helpful and our interaction with them was good.

I've been through three water softeners in 25 years and I've had enough of them. My family members have complained about the salty taste in the water sometimes and I figured that there has got to be a better way. I searched for water systems online and Pelican Water Systems came up. I knew what I wanted, so I contacted their customer service and placed an order. The people I dealt with were great. The service was quick and my order arrived in a timely manner and without damage. It was easy to assemble and put together. The water system is wonderful and I've noticed a difference with our water since having it. People should check out Pelican's system and take advantage of it.

We live in the desert and we have super hard water. I was looking for something that would make it a little bit more comfortable after showering as I have eczema. I did an online search, came across Pelican Water Systems and found something that would work. The online ordering process was super simple - it was just a matter of figuring out the right style for our bathroom. I did the installation of the shower filter myself and then I sent in the form for the automatic renewal and refills that come every six months.

When we moved into our house, I have white hair but within one week, my hair turned orange. It was really bad and that was from all the rust in our water. The water tasted and smelled bad as well. Also, the toilets were ruined and the tanks were full of rust. I couldn't get the rust out of the bathtub so I ended up stripping all the finish by using super harsh cleaners.

I've always had a water softener so I just wanted one. The reps from Pelican Water Systems came in and installed it. And since having the softener, our water has been nice and soft, and the water tasted good. Overall, I had a very good experience with Pelican and I'd definitely recommend them.

There was a lot of bad stuff in the city water such as chlorine and fluoride. I moved in from the country so I could immediately smell the difference from the chlorine coming into the water, then into the house. I searched online looking for some alternatives and saw Pelican Water. They had some good ratings and seemed to have more stuff that can be taken out of the water. I called in and got a Pelican rep on the phone. His name is Kyle and he was awesome. I can't always believe salespeople, but he seemed genuine. He was just telling me the benefits of the product and he knew his stuff. I double checked some of the stuff that he told me and he was right.

Due to my blood lab work, the doctor was concerned with my chlorine intake. I bought a showerhead from Pelican Water Systems for the chlorine. I just picked something out online, which was easy. When I messed up on an order, they were able to fix it for me. Everything was fine with Pelican. Now, my lab work came out completely clean of chlorine.

I own a plumbing company and I had a customer who had a well. They needed a well water system to make their water softer and filtered. They wanted a Pelican system and we were requested that we put it in. I went on Pelican’s website first and I did not have difficulties as it is well put together. Then, when I found out what I needed, I did a phone call and I talked to a sales rep. He gave me all the information that I needed about it. He told me what system would work best for what I had and he followed up. He also made sure that we were getting the right equipment and that everything came in correctly and that the installation went great. My customer has the system for three months now and they say it works really well for what they needed. They enjoy and love it.

I took a chance ordering Pelican's water system. I bought the first one to get rid of the chlorine then I added the water softeners deal to it. Pelican's salesman gave me a big old pitch about how their system would soften the water and get rid of the hard water, but so far, it's not doing what I thought it was gonna do. I still get rings around my commode, my sink, and everything else. And when you take a shower, the soap is supposed to be real soapy but it's not.

I was looking at systems online because I wasn't really happy with my water system. I was using the RainSoft system with the salt pellets but my water tasted salty and I didn't like that. I was also still having hard water build-up on my pipes and on my spigots outside. I think the softener system wasn't working properly. One of the tanks was out and I didn't even know it. I wanted to see what else was out there and I wanted something salt-free so when I ran across Pelican, I was really excited at the thought that they didn't use salt pellets. I purchased the combo system for the whole house system and now, I don't taste the salt anymore in drinking out of the tap. When I first got the system installed, the water smelled fresher and felt cleaner. That, of course, went away but you can notice it when you first change it over. And still, I'm happy with it.

Update. A Pelican representative contacted me almost immediately after I placed my review. He worked with me to try and resolve the issues I was having. He was more than willing to help me to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you sir for your response and willingness to listen and help in whatever way you can. I have to tell everyone that this company has great A1 customer service. Thank you again for your assistance.

I live in Arizona, and the water out here is absolutely horrible. The water is so bad that the lady that I live with got kidney stones from it. She was in the hospital for almost a week and ended up getting stents in her kidney. So, when I got out, the first thing I did was talk to plumbers, and they all told me there was no such thing as a saltless water conditioner. I didn't give up and I kept poking around. I looked at Pelican and talked to them over the phone. They told me all about it and guaranteed that it would do the work of a water conditioner and it was the right fit. It has been wonderful. The water is as good as salt water but there's no salt and when you take a shower, your body feels cleansed. So, we’re happy with it. I have recommended it to anybody that I thought was interested.

I was looking for three-stage water filters, googled that and Pelican Water came up. I researched their website and I liked what I saw. They had good reviews as well. So I called and made the order directly from them. I had a problem with one of the filters so I hired a plumber to hook it up. He may not have hooked it up correctly. I had another plumber come in and check the way it was hooked up. He said it was hooked up wrong. But the company sent me out another one. They have great customer care and I appreciate them taking care of us. I’ve also been really pleased with the taste of the water. I like the fact that I can buy it quickly online, and they have a better price point. I didn’t wanna spend over $400 and I spent less than 200. Their filters are lower if you continuously have them ship you a restock on the filter every six months so it was really a good deal.

We are in Arizona, and we had a salt-based water softener that failed. In the course of the plumber responding to the repair, he told me that it was beyond repair and he mentioned saltless systems. I researched it and me and my friend decided almost in the same day to buy a unit. We were concerned about the use of salts and its reintroduction back into the ecosystem and on our bodies. Since we had to replace our units and we didn’t know how old they were, it was a good time to research saltless systems and Pelican Water Systems came up. I did it all online and then I called as I was getting ready to place the order after reading all the reviews.

My brother-in-law outside of Nashville has a Pelican System. We had moved from Ocala, Florida to Dandridge, Tennessee and we built a house here, and unfortunately, the water quality here is horrible. It’s very hard and it’s not good for anything. I thought my brother-in-law had told me about Culligan, so I called up Culligan, but it’s a salt system and I did not want it. The Culligan system is around $68,000. Then, he said that his system was called Pelican. I called Lowe’s at first to get the system, but they wanted six to eight weeks to get it and they wanted to charge me with a big tax on it, so my brother-in-law said, “Why don’t you just call Pelican direct? They have some specials on it. You can probably buy it directly.”

We recently bought a house without soft water but we prefer soft water. It was easy enough to order our Pelican Water system through the internet and it was delivered just fine. It was easy to put in and I had no problems doing it myself. The water has been better than what it was. We’re not using as much soap and the water rinses cleaner in the shower. We’re happy with our Pelican Water system.

I had some issues with the water smell, and I had some rust and calcium buildup on a lot of my fixtures in the house. I was looking for a water filtration company and while I was looking online, Pelican happened to pop up. I worked with one specific guy that helped me identify some of the issues. I purchased just a sampling kit. One of the reasons was because they offered a credit for the sample. If you bought or purchased the filter system through them, they would credit you to whatever you spent on the test kit. And so, once I had the results from my test, I had a representative call me to explain to me what they saw on the sample, and it didn’t really line up as much as some of the issues I was having. And so, I took pictures of it and sent it to him, and then we discussed it again, and that’s how I ended up buying the right filter for my home.

I used Pelican Water Systems in my other home that I had built and I put the system in myself, which was very easy to do if the house built is all plumbed in for a water softener. My water softener is one that you don’t have to add anything to it. It's a closed system and I have a pre-filter on the system as well as the charcoal filter. In my current home, I put the system in and I just recharged the charcoal filter after around five years, and it was around 250 bucks. I'm quite pleased with the system. It was very easy to do, to maintain and to plumb into my home system. If you're somewhat handy and you're not afraid to get into it, then you could do it yourself.

Our neighborhood did well testing and found that most of the wells in our area are contaminated with bacteria. I discussed my water quality concerns with the Pelican consultant and he recommended a system after sending him my water report. He was very helpful, responsive, and he got back to me right away. I bought an in-house full house water system. It has a pre-filter, a carbon filter, a non-salt conditioner, and then a UV filter. I also bought a reverse osmosis unit for my kitchen tap. I installed the system myself after watching it on YouTube. And since having the system, the water is easier on the skin. It also has a crisper taste to it. In addition, all of our appliances seem to be running better with the calcification coming out of them. The Pelican system is good stuff. The price is good and I couldn't believe how quickly it got here as well.

I heard that there is good and bad fluoride added to the water and that there is a lot of both put in the water from the units of both sides just to clean it. So, I wanted to get a product that would remove some of the fluoride and Pelican has a whole home system as well as the fluoride remover. I tried their home water purifying system at home and I had it hooked up about five years ago. Pelican just filled the supplies but they did not do any of the installation or the service. I did everything through their website and it was self-explanatory. It was easy to use and they promptly got the product out to me. They are very good. People are looking for better water and that there would be a lot of people that would be actually doing the service end of it, but Pelican made it easy and it is a very simple system. They encouraged people to do it themselves and there was not much work with me contacting the reps and I would have called if I had any issues.

My water was leaving a lot of white residue behind and using the chemical wasn't good for us. I bought a showerhead from Pelican Water System and installed it. Thus far, my wife has said that her hair seems to feel a little softer. Also our water doesn't leave white residue on the showerhead.

We wanted our home water to be pure so we looked at water treatment systems. I saw the Pelican System on Lowe’s website. And I went to Lowe’s to inquire about it. They were gonna sell me a salt-based system where I had to put a lot of salt in the tank. I didn’t know too much about Pelican and so I called Pelican directly, and that’s when I got way more information that was really helpful. The salesman was very helpful and responsive. I ended up purchasing the demineralization system and the water purifier system. So far, my clothes feel much cleaner when I'm washing them. And although I still have some black moldy-looking stuff coming through, it turned out to be removable with demineralized water and a brush. Overall, I'm very happy with Pelican.

We had some contamination and we also had a very high level of minerals. My plumber told me about Pelican Water Systems and how it would treat our water and get rid of the problems we were having. I consulted with Pelican online. I sent them my water analysis through email. They looked at it and told me what I needed. Thereafter, I bought a water system from them online and it was very easy to do. I installed it myself and though there were some things that made mine maybe a little bit more difficult, but they helped me out with it online. Having the system has affected our water immensely.

I was on a trip where I met a friend of a friend whose house was for sale. We looked at it and he had a Pelican Water system in his basement. He told us all about it and that they haven't experienced any bad problems once they installed it. We began researching about getting a water treatment system since we were planning to relocate to our current residence and the water is known to be less than desirable there. When I discussed my concerns with the Pelican sales consultant, I did it online.

The system in the house we bought had Pelican Water brand of filter. I ended up buying some replacement filters through them. When I went onto the website, it was easy to figure out exactly the right filter. There were a lot of different combinations. I bought a set of them with the right O-ring. I was able to find it, order it, and no problem. I put in the pre-filter into the water system. The old one that came out was dirty, the new one that went in was clean, and I haven't looked at it since I put it in. But everything's been good so far with it.

Pelican is a good company and their water filter is fine. I had concerns with the water and I purchased the product online. Everybody was good to deal with. They did what they said they were gonna do and everything arrived on time. I had a plumber do the installation and everything does good now. The water seems to be fine so the product filtered out what it said it was supposed to filter out. The water tastes different so everything's good.

I was tired of putting money into my salt soft water system. Every year, I had to pay somebody to come. And I had the RO system. I’m a health nut and I don’t drink dead water. And so, the more I researched, the more I realized I’d like the soft water but I didn’t want salt anymore. So, I started doing research, and I found Pelican. I found that Home Depot carried them, which made me feel really comfortable with the name. So, I went with the top system they had, and it covered all my bases. I got a house filter, a salt-free soft tank, the UV filter, and a prefilter.

I rent a condo in Palm Springs and the water is always an issue. I ordered the Pelican system online the first time and it was very simple. It was also here in Palm Springs on the third day and this came from Florida. Then my handyman friend installed it for me. It took five minutes and was a piece of cake. The Pelican system I have is for my showerhead and my shower, and I’ve noticed the difference with my skin and my hair. I liked the system so well. I kept telling my friends about it. I was getting another system and because I was ordering it for someone else, I felt it was easier to call the company and it worked out well. I talked to two different individuals and they were both extremely helpful. I jokingly said I should be working for Pelican and they said that since I sold more of the system, I could get some sound money for it.

I was doing research through the internet on whole house water softeners and filtration systems for the house here in Florida because the water quality is bad and we were concerned with the hardness of the water and the smell and taste of it. Pelican Water Systems ended up as one of the choices. The rep said that they have a two-tank system where the first tank takes out the chemicals out of the water and the second one puts the water through the softener. So, the softener is to unbind the chemicals with the molecules in the water so that the hardness is taken away.

We bought a whole house salt-free softener and filtration system back in May 2018. It was supposed to help remove any bacteria, along with reducing any scaling in our water. By August, we were still seeing scaling on pots & pans, along with scaling on the toilets. I contacted Pelican, only to be told that it was normal for it to "take a while" to start reducing the scaling.

All local water treatment companies in my area don’t know what they’re doing. I researched the internet and Pelican was not necessarily the best in the industry, but it’s up there in the top 15%. Their overall performance, specifications, reviews, and listening as to what’s the best in the industry was what me choose them. Since switching to Pelican, the quality of water has been better all around. First off, I didn’t wanna use salt for water softening. The taste of the water is much better.

I bought a new house and I knew I wanted a whole house system. I did not want to do a water softener filter system, so I was looking for something very easy to operate. I’ve been very happy with Pelican. We’ve had it four months already and it seems to be working just great. I don’t have any calcium build-up and the soap scum, and the water quality tastes good. So, I’m a happy camper. The representatives have always been wonderful and very helpful. What they told me they would do, they did and within the timeframe of doing it. They answered questions quickly and professionally. I needed some help finding out how to have it installed. They had a list of plumbers, and the plumber I picked from that list was phenomenal, the golden rule of plumbing. I recommend Pelican to everybody I can. Buy one, it is a good deal.

We have pretty hard water in this area and people have had just the regular salt water softeners and they're tired of hauling salts. I've had a kidney transplant and I'm not supposed to drink tap water, so we were having to haul bottled water all the time and it was becoming an expensive chore. I was researching water conditioning systems on the internet and Pelican was one of the systems that were most talked about. The Pelican reps were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and they knew what they were talking about.

I have always had the type of salt-water system wherein I add salt. With the Pelican Water System, I don’t have to add salt. You just have to change out the filters every five years. So this is a lot easier. When I bought the system from Pelican Water online, I already did all the research so I knew exactly what I wanted. I got a reverse osmosis system which I installed myself. Other than that, when a filter had cracked, they sent me a brand new one. We live on a small island in Hawaii where our water system is hard and it got a lot of stuff in it. I got a pH meter so I can check the water and their system really filters out the particles. Pelican is a very good company. I would highly recommend them. In fact, if mine ever gets broken, I'd buy another one from Pelican.

Our plumber recommended Pelican. They wanted to purify the water coming into the house and we got a saltless system for drinking water. The water is much cleaner now.

With the water at my house being so hard you have to cut it with a hacksaw, I looked for a filter system on the internet and found Pelican. I called the company and talked to a salesperson who explained all the details for it, and I was convinced that that was what I needed. Now, the whole system is working really well and the quality of my water is much different, big time.

However as IBM mainframe salespeople said years ago; "No one was ever sorry they bought the best there is." We purchased this house (2 miles west of Crescent Beach, FL) in June of 2014 and had been struggling with our well water since then. The house sits on a cypress knoll atop a perched water table. As such well water is abundant and we only have to lift it 12 to 14 feet, however it is rich in tannin, minerals, dissolved iron and iron oxidizing bacteria; surprisingly it does not reek of sulfur dioxide. -- i.e. it is pretty much the typical shallow well water one sees in N.E. Florida.

We had hard water. Our clothes stunk when we washed them, it dried out my wife's hair and it caused calcium build-up on all my ground fixtures. My brother-in-law who owns a winery said that Pelican was the best in making pure water, taking out all the harsh chemicals, making skin and hair softer, and good on the clothes.

I asked Pelican's Rep to select right system for my house and it was PSE2000. I had it installed by a plumber that recommended by Pelican in Oct17. Since then, I have replaced the filter once because there was some white spots residues in our water. I did email Pelican and was told that it is just minerals. Then recently my wife told me that our 4 toilets' bowl have black rings. When I opened the toilet tanks, I can see all kind of black residues. We didn't have this problem for the last 3 years living in this house and the house is about 13 years old. It is a nice house therefore I don't think there is any plumbing issue. My wife cleaned the toilets every week. I emailed Pelican's technician earlier this week and waiting for a reply.

We purchase the PSE2000 system back in may of 2018. As we was building our home. We have been in the home now for 3 1/2 month and the water is not soft and we have hard water mark and scale build up on the pumping fixtures. I was on the email texting a guy. He made it sound like I was dumb**. First off I would not recommend the system I paid almost 5000.00. I have a system on my old home and it work better than this one. And it was salt, was trying to get away from salt. There are system out there that work the same way and cost a lot less.

I received a call from Frank at Pelican water, and all have been resolved, we found that the problem with the fittings was with my plumber as these are standard 1-inch fittings, also the smell has dissipated and was probably the pipe dope used to seal the fittings, as for the referral monies they have made that right and are looking into ways to make that process more streamlined, I was really happy that they called and did everything they could to understand the issues and resolve them, this is a company that really believes in their product and really cares about their customers, it is very rare that I do a complete 180 like this but I feel they went above and beyond to help me, if you buy a water system from them and have any issues I assure you they are going to get right. GREAT COMPANY.

My system has been in use for some time now with no changes to the water? Is it possible the brine wasn't installed before shipping the unit to me? I didn't hear anything from Pelican on this issue. Total scrap. Save your money.

I bought the Pelican PSE 1800 water system along with the Pelican reverse osmosis system. The plumber I hired to put them in said that he had removed so many of those system because they had leaked and ruin their flooring. He said it would be over $500.00 to install system, so decided to send it back. BE WARNED: It cost me over $370.00 to FedEx the system back, which they will NOT refund. I just wanted to warn you about this.

I purchased a whole house filter system. Two years later (July 2018) purchased a Water Softener. According to a certified testing lab, the water softener is not working. For 29 days, I called, left voicemails and emails and nobody from Pelican has responded. They responded when I was spending money taking their advice, but now that I have a very small issue, no response. Very frustrating.

I originally purchased a salt free "softener" that didn’t soften the water at all! I exchanged that for a salt system for a $300+. Had it installed only to find resin in my bathtub. I am VERY unhappy!!! Did I also mention I purchased a sediment and whole house filter from them as well. I can’t say if they do or don’t work but I can say that after spending thousands of dollars and hours researching, installing, driving home to meet delivery driver etc to have a broken system is a sign that there is poor quality control at Pelican.

Since I moved to Florida, my gray hair had turned yellow. I thought a water softener might help with the shower. I researched on the internet and found Pelican. I decided to try the little attachment that goes on the main shower to see if that would help my hair color. Unfortunately, it didn't but my skin is a little less dry.

There was heavy iron in the water. I looked into a water treatment system and the sales consultant from Pelican Water Systems came out. He did an examination on water, confirmed that we were heavy on iron, and recommended their homeowner thing, so I went with that. He gave me clarification on how the system works, I accepted the plan there, and he left the tank here. Then the installers came out and they were very good. They put it in and rigged it up, however, I had to rebuild my shed that I had over the pump system because their iron tank was taller than the roof. So, I had to restructure the roof's area then we got the system in.

We had an illness in the family where we needed clearer water. Pelican Water had the configuration I wanted and they are a company in Florida where we live. Their sales consultants were very helpful when we discussed our concerns. They were very professional and knowledgeable too. Also, the pricing that was given to me was very clear. I got the filtration system which has the carbon canister with the pre-filter setup and the UV filter. Since the system was installed, the water is softer and our testing shows that it is cleaner from chemicals and sediment.

The house that I bought has a shower filter system from Pelican. It had been there so long. Then the filter burst when I left the shower on too long. I noticed a difference on my skin when I didn't use it so I got a refill quickly. I ordered a new system after I researched the Pelican company and then I installed it myself. Finding a product or information on the Pelican website was quite easy. However, the filter they sent to me leaked so I sent a picture and right away and they have sent me a proper refill that works. I'm quite happy with them.

Our water is terrible here in Abilene, but it's better now with our Pelican Water System. We have been using it for seven years and our water looks good and tastes better than city water and we also don’t smell chlorine. I wanted better water for the animals and I was told my yard would respond to this water. Their sales rep was very polite and knowledgeable, and he answered all our questions. Then we had a plumber help originally but when we changed the medium not very long ago, we did it ourselves. I called the company and their rep told me where the video was and it was such a great help because they did it step-by-step. We also referred to it three times to be sure we were not missing a step. Overall, it's a good system and it's working well.

We have a well and the water is hard and has a lot of minerals. It was just killing my hair and no matter what kind of shampoo-conditioner I used, it was still not making me happy. Pelican got really high recommendations from people on our local community Facebook group so I decided to go online and see, and they were absolutely correct. I ordered the Pelican shower unit online and when I installed it, I noticed the difference immediately. It was very easy to install and use. And, I love it.

I have a rental property where I put a Culligan Water System. My tenant had been in the house for two weeks and he called and said that the white tile in the shower was already brown and the water in the toilet was getting snotty looking. So, a little bit of research, I found out that Culligan is just a good boat anchor and not good for much of anything else. So, the Pelican representative here in Florida told me to send him a sample of the water. Once he gave me the result of my water, he made a recommendation and I got the water system for the entire house. I got the chlorinator, the pre-filter, UV light, water conditioner, the water softener and the carbon filter that helps take the chlorine out. They had the equipment shipped here in a day and I had my plumber install it.

We had a different water system and it was a bit of walk from the garage down to the basement to put salt in, so I was looking for something salt-free. I went on the internet and Pelican Water popped up. I ordered everything from them online and had a local plumber install the system. The only problem was that the filter got stuck and I was trying to take it off but the tool that Pelican provided to remove it broke. So, I ordered a second tool and that got broken as well. I went out and bought a belt wrench and was able to get the filter housing off to change the filter. Pelican's wrench to remove the filter should be beefed up, so it could be a little stronger. But other than that, we have a plumber installing a second water system from Pelican at our home in Florida. The plumber recommended Pelican and he's taking care of it all there. If other people are looking for a salt-less system, I would recommend Pelican Water.

I was re-piped and I'm so tired of the hard water so I decided it was time for a water treatment. Plus I remodelled my master bath and I didn't want that shower head filter in my new shower because my new shower was just too gorgeous. I have purchased my shower head filter from Pelican and my plumber also recommended the Pelican system. I also researched about four or five other companies before I settled on Pelican. I went to their website and ordered the combo system. It was very easy to find the product I was looking for.

Our water’s hard in our area and we were having a little bit of trouble with dry skin. We decided that we need to soften the water a little bit and I found Pelican Water Systems on the internet. Their reps are very good and helpful. Anybody I dealt with over the phone when I ordered was fine. We got the salt water softener and I installed the system myself. However, my biggest complaint was that I didn’t feel like any of the instructions that came with it were thorough enough and so that it consequently made me have to make about three phone calls to discuss stuff so that I did everything right. Other than that, the system is very easy to maintain and it has lived up to what I expected. I've noticed the difference in the water. So, I would certainly recommend Pelican to a friend.

We had a water test that came back with coliform bacteria so we needed a water treatment system. We went through a whole bunch of different questions with the sales guy of Pelican, Mike. He spent a good amount of time working with me and he was very helpful. I called a question during installation because it looked like there was something about the system that was maybe missing, but it didn’t even belong in the box. It was something extra that some people need but most people don’t and they were really wonderful. I’m really happy with them. We got their UV Sterilizer. We need to have a bulb changed once a year for maintenance and that’s it. When we had the water tested again the problem was no longer there so it worked.

I wanted a water filtration system and I did my research online. My friend had Halo, which was just a water softener, so that wasn’t enough. Then I found Pelican and they gave me a great price. So, I paid less when I made my purchase on the internet. After that, Pelican promptly sent a rep who was really nice. Then I negotiated with Expert Plumbing for the installation of the system. When I called Expert Plumbing and asked if I should get Halo or Pelican, they told me to get Pelican because it's a good system. They thought highly of Pelican and they were tickled about it. And the day the guy from Expert Plumbing was supposed to put it in, he quit on them. But it was fine because the owner himself came out and put it in.

Where I live in Florida, we have hard water and it is bad. I had different guys come in and they gave me some crazy prices, like $6,000 and $7,000. I wasn't about to want to spend that kind of money. So Pelican was in my field. Their price was good and I felt comfortable with their system. There was one guy who was gonna come up and put a filter system into a big tank. The water I was gonna use was inside of this tank and I didn't like that kind of a system. In comparison, the Pelican system seemed to be a fairly good system to have. I wouldn't have to replace salt all the time and I could just use that filter. The main filter is good for five years and the water filter is to be replaced every three or four months according to how bad your water has been.

We were moving to Texas and the home we bought had a well with VERY hard water and sulfur odor issues. Professional well testing was done along with a water analysis. No bacteria - very clean water, but very hard water. I have had a liver transplant and am always aware of food and water safety being a retired RN. We called and explained our challenges and asked for their professional opinion on what system would solve our concerns. We ended up spending $2600+ on a system and another $1500 for installation by their recommended installer. It fixed the sulfur odor, I'll give it that.

The water in the house doesn’t taste good at all and the Pelican consultant understood exactly what the problem was. He made several suggestions and didn’t try to sell me anything. He just told me what they have that would work to rectify my problem. Putting the tanks and getting all that stuff in was pretty straightforward. I bought an additional installation kit that they offer and used almost all the parts that came in it. I hired a professional plumber to put it in and I wanted to make sure that this was a permanent installation as far as the piping and everything goes and I wanted it done right. I ended up putting in all-copper and that was a very expensive installation. My installation cost as much as the tank system did itself.

The EWG reports led me to research water treatment systems and the Pelican online site was fine. We also called in and the sales rep from Pelican Water was extremely knowledgeable and he had answers to every question. We were pointed to the right water system so that was very helpful. We bought the full house system and the water has been completely different since the installation. The taste is a million times better, and our skin and hair are softer and different. Working with Pelican has been a fabulous experience and anyone who's considering them should go for it.

The city water sucks. It has a taste and it’s got a smell to it because of the rain and all the other crap. I purchased the whole house system with the ultraviolet lighting add-on from Pelican. I covered all the bases and the water coming into the system now has no taste or aftertaste. It’s very clean and very clear water. We don't have crud all around our dishes either. When we drained our dishes, we used to get all that white crap from the city water. They either don’t control the chlorine or put so much in it. They figured they’d kill everybody. If you go buy a little bit of chlorine and pour it on concrete, it will leave a hole right through your concrete wall. It's an acid. And you're gonna drink it? They use so many parts per billion but it's still a part that's going into my body. It’s silly but since installing the system, even my dog is healthier.

We have extremely hard water and I had a salt system and I wanted to get rid of it. I called Pelican and it was excellent. The rep asked me questions and told me what would be the best system for me. We ended up getting a NatureSoft and something to deionize the water. I’ve greatly noticed that the quality of the water is much better than with the salt system. Also, I can water my plants now and I can drink the water without any concerns. The system is working great.

The website is straightforward and I had also spoken to a rep regarding a filter. When they came for installation, they were extremely helpful. It was painless and they got here really quick. Since the installation of the system, the water doesn't smell of chlorine and the mineral content is down. The water is much more pleasant to drink now. I was really pleased with my experience. While I have no complaints, it would be nice if they had people in different places that they could recommend to install their system.

There was calcium buildup on our faucets in the bathrooms and then the sinks, and I wanted something other than a water softener that uses salt. I had a salt system in another house that I lived in in Kansas and I didn't want to have that again. There were different alternatives to using the salt and I saw the good reviews of Pelican online.

We went from a residential well to a home on a community well, which had chlorine and I didn’t want that in the water. I’m very handy and I researched which filter I wanted to get. Pelican maintains the warranty even if it’s user-installed while in some other systems, you have to have the vendor put it in and I didn't want that for a water filter. Their system works extremely well and it’s very easy to install. It’s doing exactly what I hoped it would do. Now there's no chlorine anymore, which is what I expected. The only recommendation I would make is if somebody buys the system, it should be easy enough to do the warranty registration online instead of sending the card in. I still have the card sitting in my office so I haven’t pursued the warranty.

It turned out that the system I bought was the same one he had put in his house. He told me it was simple to install, which it was. He also confirmed, placed the order and shipped it at that point.

Every August, our water system here in Florida gets flushed with chlorine. When that happens, the water smells terrible and drinking it is like drinking water out of a pool. When living in California, they’re not too keen on it. A LifeSource person came out and did a demonstration for me in-home and I liked the way their system was, but I started researching and found Pelican Water Systems, so, from there, that’s where I got started. The Pelican Water reps answered the questions as best as they could in terms of the equipment and their website was adequate. I got a water softener and a charcoal filter. There's improvement in the water but their product isn’t very good. We bought a no-salt system and it doesn't work. Then, I bought a salt system and it doesn’t work very well, either.

I was looking for a salt-free softener and I checked with a friend of mine who was in Florida. I ordered a system from Pelican online and it shipped. I got a system that doesn’t use any salt and it was based on two bathrooms. The person who installed it for me also agreed that it was a good unit so that made me feel confident in my purchase. I just wanted to share my experience with the Pelican install and to give a heads up about the UV Systems. First the instruction manuals are very well written, second it will cost about $500 in parts to get your system installed, and be prepared for the install to take about a day and a half as it is a process. My biggest complaint is that when I bought two systems one for my primary home and another for our second home. When I asked the sales person about installing the UV system outside said, "No problem." My house was built in the sixties, however after reading through the install Manual UV Systems are intended for garage installs or areas not exposed to sun. I wish I has not ordered the UV. Now I have an additional cost to build shelter for the UV system.

I did some research and I discovered that just the plain water softener does not remove rust, so I decided to check out other units. I had the MacClean Water Softeners, so I looked at MacClean and I didn’t particularly like what they had. Then I remembered Pelican, so I researched them online and I decided that it was the way to go. I also decided that I didn’t like going salt anymore and Pelican is the only one I know of that is salt-less. The rep answered all of my questions except one that I was concerned about regarding the rust stains. He told me that their system would take care of it, though maybe he didn’t have all the information or I didn’t have all the information and we weren’t communicating properly. The GPM of the Pelican System that I have is not enough to handle the sprinkler system and still be able to flush toilets or run the water in the house.

Pelican was cheaper, so I called them back. However, they told me that they couldn't honor that price anymore. The first rep that I talked to who gave me the best price was unavailable to talk to, and the next rep I talked to, Jim, jacked up the price by $100. He ran the price of everything up really high. He also tried to oversell me stuff and I had to back off on that. But I just went ahead with Pelican. I got in contact with another salesman who told me that while the stuff I got was fine, I could probably get by with less and add the other if I needed it down the line.

We had a room addition put on and we wanted a water filter system that removes the chlorine, lead and all the other stuff that's in the water. My contractor had drawn a water treatment system in, so I went ahead. I was looking for a salt-free system on the internet and Pelican's system came up first. After I read about it, I was completely satisfied. However, I was in a hurry when I finally decided to start with Pelican. I put in my order and it took me about ten minutes. I didn’t realize there were more options and I only got the single tank but it’s working great. When the tank came, I had no problem whatsoever. My plumber did it himself and I was a piece of cake. I’ve dealt with this kind of inline filter before and it was simple.

My water had a very bad taste. I was told that it was well water so I got a whole-house system from Pelican Water. The reps were professional and courteous. The system was very expensive but since I had the whole-house system installed I can drink the water.

We purchased a new home in Minnesota and I know the water is harsh up here. It’s hard water. I’ve always used Culligan in Florida and Texas but the salt prices are going up and we tend to use a lot of it. I was looking for a system that was a little more economical. Looking up through reviews, Pelican kept coming up as far as getting pure cleaner water. Plus if I put the two tanks together, I can have a whole house filter and that called my attention. I called Pelican and the gentleman explained quite a bit to me. He told me that it was a really easy system and that I could put it together myself. He also sent me videos. Overall, it turned out to be a good system. I installed it about two days after receiving it because I had to let the filter sit for 48 hours. Then once I had that all in, we noticed that the water didn’t have a funny sulfur aftertaste.

I was told by the customer service that the delivery would be free AND an absolutely easy scheduling! Since I am not home all the time I would just have to purchase the Water Filter System first and then I could change the delivery date to my convenience! That sounded like a really good delivery service to me! After I had purchased the filter system, the delivery company charged me $42.00 for the change! They would only deliver if I paid the $42.00! This is what they call FREE DELIVERY! Is it really so difficult to be honest and inform the customer correctly? If I am told the delivery is free and easy to schedule, I believe that! I called for a refund but the customer service person behaved as if I should know about the extra charge and that this would be a "I said, he said" case! I am disgusted by such practices.

I bought the PSE2000 and installed by a recommended plumber from Pelican (total $4000). The system worked fine first few months and then I started seeing white residue in my cookware. I decided to change out to a brand new filter and that didn't resolve the problem. I bought another under sink filter hoping it would take out the white residue but it didn't. I called Pelican's technician and he told me that it is normal to have some and nothing we can do about it. I think it is ok to have this as part of my food consumption but it is bugging me to see this white stuff. Can someone help me??

I wanted to get rid of the chlorine because we're on city water. I talked to a contractor here in town and they recommended Pelican. We went with their whole home system. It has a sediment filter and then it has two tanks, one with carbon media in it which takes out the taste and smell of chlorine. And then there's one that's a salt-free water softener. My daughter was researching clean water and she was advised by somebody in Mississauga about Pelican Water Systems. The sales consultant very helpful and very quick and had detailed information. We had to do the installation of the system ourselves and it was good. Two units were installed and the other one's still waiting to be installed. I Googled for filters and found out about Pelican. I got a six-stage PRO-RO and I use it all my life. I don’t really like tap water -- I try not to drink it if possible. Initially, I wanted the combination softener and filter. Unfortunately, Pelican didn’t have a softener equipment that went with the filtering system I bought from them. Other than that, it's a good system and people should use it.
