    For over thirty years we have found the technicians and support staff very responsive to our needs and sometimes our wants. We have been customers of Orkin in Georgia and South Carolina. In both states we have been served with pest, termite and moisture control. Currently the moisture control barrier has fallen down, but the local branch manager has promised to see about correcting that issue. Here in South Carolina the technicians have been over ran with calls of swarming termites. Once those customers are serviced I am confident the downed barrier issue will be resolved.

    35 years ago, Orkin came by and promised me that they could handle the job. So we tried them out and kept on with them. The monthly bug control guy comes in like he's supposed to, asks what kind of problems we have, then he gets busy and takes care of it. He’s a fine technician and he does a very good job. He usually comes between 8:30 and 9:00, and we don't have to do anything other than pay the man and file away the receipt. Since we’re recovering from the COVID issue, he’d been outside for now. But I’m finding more larger roaches dying than I had before he came the last time. So the pest control is taking effect like it's supposed to.

    Every couple of months, Orkin comes here automatically to see about the bait that's laid out. I also had an ant problem in my kitchen because of the rain. I truly liked this particular technician that came, Carlos. I watched him and he answered all my questions. He checked all the bait stations and he also checked every living thing in this house that had not been checked for quite a while. Even if he didn't know what he was doing, he was knowledgeable. He gave me extra time. He didn't rush me and I liked that because I was very worried. I would have liked him to continue coming here, but Orkin kept changing these guys on me, and some of them were not very good. One guy came here and I wouldn't allow him near anything. He was dressed poorly and he was dirty and it was a horror. I called Michelle at Orkin about it.

    There was one problem that I called about and I had spoken to somebody else, and she was terrible on the phone. I mentioned about having to have the inside of the house checked and she brought up COVID and she started telling me that some people don't have shots because they religiously don't believe in it. I asked her what does that have to do with my service. I didn't understand what she was talking about and I didn't even think she was correct. I called back and spoke with Michelle and said that I didn't know who that was. Michelle didn't want to say anything incorrect to me because she was very professional, but she knew exactly what I was talking about. She got me the right person, time, and so forth. The person that was talking about COVID didn't have anything to do with this situation.

    Every couple of months, I have pest control with Orkin. I have one guy that does the lawn and one guy that sprays for the outdoor pest. They're both very excellent and attentive. The pest control guy always calls when he's on his way and he asks me if there are issues inside or out. And the guy that does the lawn, I liked him so much that I hired him to be my landscaper. He went back into the landscaping business on the side after work. He used to own a company years ago. So he's my lawn guy now. I got rid of my other guy. I trust them very much.

    I love my Orkin tech. Her name is Shelly and she's amazing. She's been doing my service for a couple years now and she is so different than the other techs that have been out before. There was nothing wrong with them, they just went about their jobs, and the sooner they could get out, the better. But Shelly will stop, knock on the door, and with COVID, obviously taking those precautions, she stays outside. But she will ask me if I'm having any trouble with anything and if there is anything that they can do for me. She also tells me about things to look out for and goes that extra mile. You know when you get good service and when somebody really likes their job and cares about it.

    Aside from that, it's really super easy to reschedule with Orkin and I've had to a couple times due to other work being done at the house. They're always really good about scheduling for when it works out for me. I really noticed the difference with them treating my pest problem every quarter. Where I live used to be cornfields and now it's kind of a new division. So we have these huge wolf spiders and they're these hairy things that if you step on them, you could probably see their legs from out underneath your shoes. They're huge and my neighbors still have issues with them but I do not. All in all, I'm super satisfied with Orkin. But, especially with COVID, the cost should remain the same when your inside is not being treated and just the outside is. When you get half the service, the price should be half the amount. But that's my only input on anything negative. Everything else is absolutely positive.

    Orkin schedules the service and I find that they have a tendency to change. One time, they were supposed to come out on a Friday but on Tuesday, I found out they were coming out on Wednesday. Then, last year, we were having problems with them changing schedules to two weeks later and then four weeks later. Hopefully, we won't have that same problem this year. The schedule changes every once in a while but as long as it’s just a couple of days from what it usually runs, then that's fine. Also, I prefer to be here but it seems like I'm never here when they need to be here. But we work it out. And using Orkin is a lot easier and convenient than doing the job yourself. I haven't seen as many wasps this year out, which is usually our biggest problem, along with the digging, wood-eating ants, which we had a problem with last year.

    Orkin is proactive about scheduling. They would send me a notice and let me know that I'm on the schedule. And then if I have any questions, I can give them a call. I've done that a couple of times, because usually right around the springtime when they schedule me, they do it on a day it's supposed to rain. So I've had to move the schedule a couple of times because of rain. The guy said he checks the weather when he is scheduled to go to somebody's house. And what he tries to do, which is a good thing, is schedule inside services on rainy days, and then he would do the outside whenever it was not raining.

    The guy came out a couple of days ago for mosquito control service. And then it started raining. But he said he could come back this coming week when it's drier. Because what he sprayed probably got washed off because of the rain. They did it last year and it worked out good, so I figured I’d have them try it again this year and see what it does. There was one guy before that who was iffy. But I've had three or four different people come out. But this last guy, has been out here for the last 12 months. When my scheduled service was due, he would be the same guy to come out and he has been good. Overall, it has been a good experience and a good service. The folks that come out are generally thorough, as far as taking care of the pests. And then, they send me an email identifying what types of critters they've been targeting. So far, I've been fully satisfied with what I got.

    The last visit was three weeks ago. We've been on Orkin's list for four years at least. They have an office in Lincoln, and that's who we work with. We get text messages and/or an email saying that we're scheduled for such and such time. And with a response number if we can't do that. They handle it. Then they text when they're on the way. If I ever had any questions, I can call the Lincoln office and get some commentary from them, and the technicians that come to visit. They've upped their game in terms of communication to the customer. That has been positive in terms of our experience with Orkin.

    We have a single family dwelling house and a separate shop outbuilding. And we have had some not major problems with ants in the spring, which is not that unusual. And we have seen that that has been damped down in terms of what has shown up the last couple of years. The treatment that they provide and how they spray outside of the house has been a factor in helping minimize that particular pest in particular. Because of COVID, we have not had heard of the technician come inside. But it has worked out okay, with the inspector doing the outside treatment, leaving sticky traps in our garages, and refreshing those when he comes, and doing the treatment outside. It has been effective in terms of us not seeing any particular inside pest.

    We had a couple of wasp nests last year, exterior of the house. We haven't had the Orkin person here for a while so I called and the guy was able to schedule and was here within a day or two. He had the right equipment, knocked them down, and saved me trying to get those things taken care of. And that was the bonus to the regular scheduled service. That was a one-off type thing, and they were able to work it in and did a nice job. We appreciate the service.

    We have used Orkin since we had an issue with carpenter ants. And they've done an excellent job for us. The only thing we don't like is the way they do scheduling. But because they became national, it has been less satisfactory. We used to have a name and a number here in Omaha, and it was a live person. Now they would sometimes send a notice that, “This is scheduled. If this doesn't work, let us know.” Also, the techs are well-trained, but the problem is keeping them. Once a year, we've got somebody new. But once they come out, they do a good job. It's just that I got to explain things multiple times.

    My experience with Orkin was very good. Steve was our technician. He comes back and he sprays everything that he's supposed to. It works great. Except I've got to call back to Orkin in getting back out. We seem to have a lot of wolf spiders crawling around that we don't need. But it’s not his fault. Every technician we've had has been great. We’ve been very lucky. All the girls up in the main office in Spokane are also great. They understand everything and they're very polite.

    Orkin took over a pest control business in my area 53090 so when Orkin came out to spray for bugs the rate went up a few bucks to $93 and we have a 2500 sq ft house and the tech comes out with a CAN of bug spray. I asked the tech if they have the truck with the 55 gallon drum with a large hose to spray around my house and the tech had to call his boss. So I spoke to his boss and he said they only have one truck with this large sprayer on it and proceeded to tell me it's a hassle to get that truck and made more excuses, was rude and on top of this wanting to charge me an additional $350 for this truck. The original pest control co always sprayed around my entire house with this special truck plus the inside of my home for $89. The tech on the other hand was very kind and worked long and hard to spray my large house with a mini sprayer!

    The service tech was really nice so I feel bad writing a negative review, but I called Orkin because I was having a problem with pantry moths. I realized when he showed for the appointment that I knew more about pantry moths than he did but gave him the benefit of the doubt. I know pantry moths are hard to get rid of but I have had no food in my house for 2 months so the service should have worked. Orkin guarantees their service for a month so when the problem was worse than ever I scheduled a call back. The same tech showed up for the the follow up and called another tech for advice. He was told to use a combination of two chemicals; he didn't have both so thought he could combine the two he had, but I told him I would rather he come back with the chemicals he was told to use.

    I spent another 6 hours cleaning out all of my cabinets in order to spray the two chemical combo only to find out after he left (when I got the receipt via email) that he had used the chemicals he had on Thursday which were not correct. I called the office and was told they won't reschedule another call back for two weeks and that a manager won't call me back for 48 hours. I'm obviously not fired up to spend another 6 hours to clean out my cabinets for a third time and another two weeks without any food in my house because of poor service. Again, the tech was super nice but I wouldn't recommend Orkin for pest control.

    The estimator was prompt and efficient. They evaluated the problem and outlined a perfectly viable solution. The plan was to check for and eliminate entry points for rats (exclusion), trap and eliminate existing intruders and replace contaminated insulation under the house. Cost was $1300.00 and I wasn't to pay a cent until after the work was completed and I was satisfied.

    Soon after I signed the contract a technician began wrapping roof vents with 1/8” hardware cloth. BTW, I had already done this at my foundation, which saved them lots of time and money, but I wasn't going to quibble about price, I wanted it done. When the tech got to the a/c unit, he accidentally punctured the coil, which was a $3k fix. This occurred in June or July, 98* in the house for 3 days. The office manager was prompt about seeing to it that it an a/c co. arrived quickly the first day, but I had to remind him on the second day that we were dying in a hotbox because he couldn't get a guaranteed payment commitment to the a/c company, who refused to complete the repair. Nobody from either company informed me of this turn of events; I guess I was supposed to discover it through mental telepathy.

    Late on a Friday afternoon the manager explained that he could only approve a $2500 expenditure so our repair would be delayed until he could obtain approval by the Ft. Myers office. He suggested that I give the $1300 owed to Orkin to the a/c company, who agreed to replace the unit on Saturday. This would alleviate our problem the very next day by circumventing the approval process, the a/c company got paid and we didn't fry in our own fat, so I accepted this option. (The new unit cost an additional $2100 but it's a long story as to why I agreed, so I won't torture you with it.)

    I didn't see the tech again but let it be for the time being, as it was now hurricane season and unbearably hot. I didn't want to put a tech through the torture of outdoor work under those conditions only to watch the house possibly blow to pieces before November. At the end of hurricane season rats reinfested under the subfloor of the home. Christmas week rats were traipsing through my kitchen. The tech returned between Christmas and New Year's to place traps around the house. It is now early March and nobody has returned. So I paid Orkin $1300 to break my a/c unit. The end.

    I have no feedback about Orkin’s Pest Control as they were SO Poorly managed we never got to that stage. We used the Burnaby / Vancouver Branch. Booked initial visit for assessment ($75) and they were on time and appropriate. 1st treatment booked for ant control, we moved all furniture and took time off work, and they did not show up. Took over 24 hours to get a call back for an explanation and to rebook. 2nd appt for treatment booked a week later, so all furniture / drapes etc. moved back to live for a week and moved again for treatment. More time off work. They did not show up, furniture cleaned up again.

    3rd appointment for treatment booked another week later. Move all of the furniture in 1500 square feet, 2 feet from the wall again. More time off work. The technician showed up but had absolutely no clue what had been planned or discussed at the initial assessment visit. He was going to spray outside in the pouring rain, when the treatment planned was for inside. Even with instructions he did not seem to know he was doing in the house. We complained and to be fair the Company did not charge us for the treatment and reimbursed the $75 for the initial visit. A few days later Orkin called us to ask if they could “start over”, come out to reassess again and “do thing properly”. We thought, “People make mistakes, let's be charitable and try to work with them”. Guess what...THEY DID NOT SHOW UP.

    I called because we had a lot of tiny sugar ants in our house and they were not going away. We got the one time fee of $600 or so and the ability to call them back for free for a month if the ants were not gone. The first time they came they sprayed the inside of our house and put gel down where the ants were coming in. Some of the ants were coming from a crack in the side of our mirror cabinet in the bathroom and when I asked if they could do anything else to stop the ants from coming in through the mirror they said no. I knew what they did probably wouldn't fix the problem. The customer service on the phone assured me that they would fix our problem and I was doubtful by this point. Almost 2 weeks later and the ants were not gone.

    They came 2 more times and nothing they did worked to get rid of the ants. I called for a refund and they refused to give me a full refund but gave me a half refund. I'm pretty sure their website lies with their "money back guarantee" because they did not do that. I ended up buying ant poison powder and spraying it in the crack of the mirror and they have been gone ever since. I also sprayed the powder in the crack of our windowsill where they were coming out. All gone and I did a better job myself by researching what to do than Orkin did for $300.

    I originally hired Orkin for pest control due to my neighbors unsanitary living conditions. At 1st it seemed to help but then the same pest would come back even worse. I would still have to pay out of pocket expenses on top of it kind costs. So why continue to pay for their services. After paying them almost 700 dollars I cancelled my services dad 17th 2020. I was told I would receive my refund within 10 business days. It is now Jan 5th 2021 and still no refund. However on my Orkin account and also when I called the customer service again it showed a refund was made.

    Also I cancelled my services months ago and they continued to charge my account even with praying I cancelled in their records. This is when I called again to talk to management. I even waited longer than 10 days to recontact them due to the holidays. I never write reviews but I now feel this company are crooks and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Still haven't got my money back.

    My initial call was great! Customer service informed me of the services and charges. 176.00 first 2 months then 42.00 a month after. First two month tech will come out several times to make sure treatments are taking. This is not what I got! I got tech came out once... I had to call for a 2nd service because I’m still setting bugs. 2nd time came out sprayed only certain rooms on the inside. Did not treat the outside. He came out a 3rd time to finish what he didn’t complete the 2nd time. Guess, what? I’m still seeing big crawling around at night. What of her spraying? Water. The tech, "No worries. I’ll be back on the 15th." You guessed it, no show. Still seeing bugs.

    Then wake and my account is charged $42. Why? According to Tech and Csr this was supposed to take place during the 3rd month. It’s been 1 month, literally 31 days. Oh him sprinkling some white powder near the power strip in one room and spraying a solution around the perimeter of the bedroom rooms. He did treat the sockets, acting up high, or the furniture. Terrible service. And they charge whatever they want then tell after that it was for a service... Orkin is crap. The promotion they a running about "If you still see bugs between treatments we will give you your money back." Lies! But they will charge you. I cancelled it all. I am so dissatisfied with the National brand. They do not deliver what they advertise.

    Here are some of the highlights of my experiences with your London Ontario office. This is how you're being represented in London. Understand I'm talking about multiple agents, and at least one manager.

    -Unwanted flirting on multiple occasions; brought up traumatic insemination twice.
    -Cancelled first treatment over a closet 9 feet from my son's bed (they stay within 5 feet of hosts).
    -Told me when I was pretty sure I had 15 bedbugs that it would take 6 months of treatments; that was about 6 months ago and I still have them.
    -Multiple treatments scheduled and prepped for, and then cancelled (seeing bites, bugs and bug poop).
    -Gloves used to apply insecticide left on floor for my cat to find and chew on.
    -2 different items ripped.
    -My mattress across the room, on the floor, had been clear; infested thereafter.
    -Bugs spread and increased in # after most treatments (I was tracking them).
    -Cardboard covered glue trap wedged under my heater, risking fire.
    -Implied I had Cockroaches, and lied about cleanliness and prep I'd done.
    -Applied spores ONLY to baseboards, first time with them; I asked if I should be steaming furniture more than once and was told "no"; "bedbugs travel along baseboards 100% of the time" the agent said, defending his actions.
    -Has cost me $700-800, just including laundry, replacement steamer, bags and bed.

    -I recently gave up on my bed, because 2 months after first spores (after other treatments), I still had 10 in it; I bought that this past summer, so I could sleep without pain.

    A manager came in, and there was no apology or accountability for things done. Instead, he indicated he thought we'd seen great service. And then he implied that I did not have bedbugs and therefore did not need another treatment. This has been done a few times now: refusing to treat if they don't find a live bug (they hide). Their website boasts that if they need to re-treat, they'll do it for free... The first agent to come here said 6 months, and that has been my experience. 6 months with bedbugs feels like a REALLY long time. It really shouldn't take more than one or two treatments, unless you have a severe infestation.

    Can never get a hold of someone on the phone-did not take care of carpet bugs or discover any problems with bed bugs-Tony came out, did not wear a mask-came in with shoes still on and did not assess the problem after a couple of minutes in my house and said there wasn't a problem. After many many attempts to solve a problem by getting bitten all over the place knowing I have bugs somewhere and them not finding them. They do not fulfill with a money back guarantee -I would never recommend this company to anyone. I had to buy a new bed, go to the dr and dermatologist because I could not figure out what or where the problem was-now I am going through another company today-I hope they will be able to actually solve pest control. BTW I am OCD about any unclean thing in my home!

When they contact me they always say they are sorry and will schedule another appointment but with 6 missed appointments, the rodent problem is coming back. Disappointment does not even start to express what I am feeling.

    I am very dissatisfied with this company. I scheduled an appointment and was given a 3 hour window. Not only did I take time off to make sure I’m available, they NEVER showed up. No phone call alerting me that they could not make it either. This is so unprofessional & a total waste of my time to say the least. To add fuel to the fire, when I called to get a reason why no one showed up, the poor sweet lady apologized & told me the main office closed but she will send a message to the office and they will contact me the next day. For a big company, they should really be ashamed of themselves. Unless you have time on your hands & wouldn’t mind taking a chance wondering if someone would show up or not, if I was you look elsewhere & don’t waste your time. I know my time is valuable as I am a very busy person & on top of it I’m trying to sell my house & get it ready before closing. TOTAL WASTE OF MY TME. YES, I’m very upset.

    I was told that I had mice in my attic. I called Orkin. Before they would even come out I was required to pay then 296.00. I was told an Technician would be at my home that afternoon. He was not. Another person called and was there the next day. That was Saturday. On Monday I called the contact number supplied on the paperwork the technician gave me and was on hold for 27 minutes. I hung up and called a number listed on their website for service and was on hold for an additional 22 minutes. The next day I called and lied saying that I wanted new service. I was connected to Dave. He said he would send an email request for service and that I should get a service call that same day. I did not.

    The next day I sent a text to the original technician that put traps in my house. I asked if he was a person I could contact for service. He said he was and an appointment for today Friday October 2nd between 12 and 2 was agreed upon. He did not show up nor did he contact me that he wasn't going to. I had a 3 business day window to cancel my contract. That is obviously past and I have not in any stretch of the imagination received any value for the 349.35 that was charged to my credit card. That amount was the initial service plus one month fee for ongoing service. Needless to say I am EXTREMELY unhappy with Orkin Pest Control.

    Wishing so much I'd have read a review before calling Orkin Pest Control as after 2 treatments which were paid upfront, they billed for a service not rendered, replaced that amount back into our account and are now billing for that again. Service was cancelled due to their billing issues and they sent someone out, unscheduled, to spray anyway. #'s listed to call do not go through and email requests for service do not get a response.

    Despite being a customer for 20+ years, the level of overcharging and inaccurate billing in the last two years is too much. I just replaced Orkin at my two homes with Paramount. I've called (no one EVER returns a call), left messages and raised issues but nearly every month there is a major error in Orkin's favor with a bill. Enough. State consumer agencies need to take a look.

    I scheduled my home to be spayed for ants. I got a call an hour before they were supposed to show up saying they had no one in the area and would have to reschedule. So instead of making it happen they chose to inconvenience me. They use a call center that doesn't know where the technicians are. We found another (local) company who could come come by same day and were almost 20% cheaper.

    The spraying service is ok.. But.. you don't get the phone calls you are told you will get... Customer service leaves a whole lot to be desired... No matter who you talk to or how many times you talk to that same person all you seem to get is runaround. Have had.. personally.. 4 different servicemen to show up to do a spraying service that was canceled weeks before. This company has an utter lack of communication with its workers and its customers!

    In July 2020 Orkin did a heat treatment on our house for bedbugs. The tech was incredibly nice. He guaranteed the heat treatment would kill the bugs. The process was very quick. We could not come back into the house that night due to the heat. 3-4 days later bugs were still crawling ALL OVER THE HOUSE. You could not sit on the living room furniture without getting bit. The furniture has been thrown out. We vacuum every day-floors & furniture. Orkin has so far come back twice to spray the house. A third visit has been set up as we still have bugs. I asked if another heat treatment could be done & was told no. We have spent $3400 for this. This is very upsetting & we feel like it's a losing battle with Orkin pretty much not doing what we were guaranteed they would do. They do however send emails telling us we can get a discount on termite or mosquito spraying. This is a terrible way to live. I would not recommend Orkin.

    We had Orkin come out for a possible termite infestation. The guy said we definitely had a termite problem and moisture in our basement that was causing the termite problem. Quoted us $4000+ to get an industrial dehumidifier and treat the termites, without the dehumidifier it was $2000+. We had other quotes and the other companies said we have carpenter ants, not termites. $650 for one year and will also kill spiders, bees, wasps, mice, etc. Orkin is a bunch of liars and thieves!!!! We are going with Fox Pest Control!

    I used Orkin to rid my house of bed bugs. They charged $1200 for their service. After their first application They did a second application. After a few weeks I let them know that we were still getting bites. I called them and The customer service lady told me that Allen ** the operations manager would call me back within 24hrs. It has been one week and I still haven’t been called. They claim that they guarantee their service but they don’t honor that guarantee. I would not recommend using Orkin based on our experience.

    Orkin was the first company I called for ants remover. The representative said the first time treatment is at $232.14 and the second time will be at $129. If we still have the ants issue after second round, they will come out and do the treatment for free for the third time. In addition, if the third time treatment did not help then they will guarantee a refund of the last payment of $129. What a great deal right?

    I asked for the next availability without shopping around other companies. Lucky for us, she said they have someone available on the same day between 3-5. I scheduled the appointment but the technician called at 4 pm that he is running late so will be coming between 5-6. I said sure since I will be home at the time. The service went ok and I got a contract from the technician to sign. The contract was for a yearly reoccurring program that I need to pay $232.14 first and three additional payments of $129 which is additional $258 than what was told on the phone. I asked to speak to the representative I spoke to.

    The first representative was unavailable and a different representative called and said I signed for five time treatment which is more than $800 and she did me a favor by removing the fifth time treatment because they do not have the program in the area. If I do not want to sign then I should pay the one time payment of $232.14 which has 30 days window guarantee. She did not forget to let me know that I should be glad to pay that amount as normally one time treatment is over $290. I would not have decide to work with Orkin without shopping around only to get a one time treatment at $290 or even at $232.14 to begin with!!

    Second alternative was to sign for the yearly contract and she will do me a favor by giving me $50 discount. In addition to yelling at me the whole time and accusing me that the only reason I requested the service is to pay the first time treatment and get three services only to request refund despite of any outcomes. I asked her to stop yelling at me. She said, she is not howling at me and I would know if she did. I thought to myself that the refund policy was brought up by the Orkin employee who signed me for five time services without my consent or any explanation.

    Again, I was only hoping to receive the service that was explained to me on the phone before I made my decision to work with the company without shopping around foolishly believing everything the representative, I suppose. I am very unhappy with this experience and do not recommend using Orkin to anyone. This whole experience was more headache than I ever imagined. I asked her to listen to the first conversation recorded then call me back tomorrow. I will see how this company handles the issue and will update the review.

    Got locked into a contract spending a ton of money and all I got was a guy that would randomly and without notice most times show up and spray and my house from the curb with a large aerosol can of some type of bug spray... Never set up a time to walk my property inspect my house or even talk. The one time I got his attention he basically told me to sit back and let the professionals work... Now I find I still have carpenter ants in the spot I tried to show him. Complete waste of money.

    Orkin put a new guy on my account. He could not find the key, so he did not treat inside. Pulled back the covers to my bed and nice home for the mice. Very cozy. The house is full of them 4 months on no treatment. I still had to pay my bill.

    Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Although (thankfully!) not solicited, I just wanted to commend Samuel ** for yesterday’s amazing visit. Over the phone I’d complained to Orkin of 10 p.m. visitations by (probably – no way to know) the same mouse (what could the mouse have been looking for?) and before he left, the understated Sammy had not only found and sealed up the two places where a mouse might be coming into and exiting my apartment, but he’d also set myriad traps in case the mouse had been trapped and was in looking for a way to exit. Sammy did this all in record time. He was courteous, respectful, and thorough. Made me glad the guys from Terminix, for whom I’d waited Saturday, hadn’t shown up for their scheduled appointment. So far no return visits from the mouse (or mice) in question. If I ever have a problem in future, I will be calling Orkin.

    I did a contract for more than a year did not see any improvement. My house is very clean but can’t say the same about my neighbors. I paid so much money that I could have save hundreds of dollars by just purchasing glue traps myself. They didn’t do anything different they came and put those cheap glue traps and if the glue traps catch something my husband had to throw it away because it was going to stink by the time they had an opening. Don’t spend your money if you have mice. Buy your own glue traps or other things because mice are very smart they really don’t get in the traps.

    We purchased our home and had an agreement with the sellers for Orkin to come out for 6 months for pest control. They did 2 months and then started to go to the wrong house. I contacted them and they told me it was just a mistake in their system and came to our house one more time (and did nothing). We still have wasps, bats (in the house) and mice. When I called and expressed my concern, because "they aren't happy until we are," they can't find any ticket of anyone coming to our house in the last year. I read the receipt off to them that they were in fact here 3 times and did do anything! They said that encounter is not in their system.... Don't use them. They sprayed some chemical around the base of the house but never went after the wasps. They put some traps up for the mice, like I couldn't do that, and wouldn't go into the crawl space or where they were actually at. And then they just completely ignored the bats flying in and out of the house.

    From beginning to end, they didn't do a single thing correctly. Oh, I forgot about the moving of the dates too. They want you to be there to show them where the nests are that they aren't going to take care of, so of course I took work off. They would just move the date the day before. They did this several times to us. Go with someone else, go local. Don't give these criminals your money.

    I told Orkin months ago that I no longer wanted their services. They show up unannounced at your door. I never told them they could withdraw my money from my account. Never set up automatic payments. We're in a pandemic. They decided to take $200 of my $700 I get a month from disability. I have 2 children at home and can barely move because of my disability. They are like the mafia. Ohh you don't want their services, you're going to take these services whether you want them or not. And you're going to pay for it even if you don't. Bullies. So I called and the service rep tells me that I agreed to automatic payments. Lies, lies, lies. So I switched my dame card and put a stop to the payment. As of right now do not sign up with this company. There are better ones out there that just don't do this type of mess when you no longer want their services. It's a trap!

    Bait and switch. They told me one thing on the phone and when the technician came out, it was going to cost way more. I called for a quote mainly because I have fire ants in my backyard. I spoke to the customer service agent and specifically told her about fire ants. I was looking for full ongoing pest control services and she quoted me a price for initial service and a monthly amount after for every other month service. It seemed high to me and I told her it seemed high. She told me that it’s because they cover most things others don’t and it’s full service.

    When the technician came with the contract- guess what.... it is an upcharge for fire ants. Fleas are also an upcharge- we live in the south!!! If you are going to use them you need to make sure you are ask what is covered and what is not. It’s crazy that as a company they are not asking the customer about the most common pest problems in that region. I will never recommend this company.

    False advertising!! I was hopeful upon reading Orkins website. Orkin clearly states their companies ability to handle mite infestations. Any consumer dealing with mites, of any variety, can understand the anxiety, sleepless nights and hopelessness one feels. Orkin is being allowed suck the hope, life, money, out of Louisiana consumers. Consumers who are already being slowly cannibalized by mites. Trauma, does not begin to explain the emotions this particular class of consumer feels. When mites begin invading a home, car, body, animals, everything becomes unrecognizable. So, as a desperate consumer searching for help, I contacted Orkin immediately. What a shock to become advised to the true facts about Orkin.

    The truth about Orkins ability, none of which is stated through advertisements. True fact: No Orkin employee in Louisiana has the knowledge to eradicate mites. No one currently employed through a Louisiana Orkin franchise or Corporate owned location within the State of Louisiana is trained to kill mites. Orkin has not trained employees on the protocols for using pesticides to kill mites, or the procedures employees are required to follow. How can Orkin advertise the ability to kill mites when the Orkin Technicians or Orkin Franchises are not provided the training of correct pesticides necessary? Orkins false advertisements are a clear danger to consumers.

    Orkin advertises a clear intention, Orkins ability to properly disperse the correct pesticide (poison) within any Louisiana consumers residence. The Orkin Technician who examined my home happens to hold the required Louisiana Entomologist license for Orkin. He holds the only state required license for Orkin to practice in this entire state. This is the one and only license which encompasses the entire State of Louisiana. My Orkin Tech, he was a genuinely wonderful, caring, but most of all, honest young man. He refused any payment based on his convictions (rare quality nowadays).

    His stated the following to me "There is a buffet of pesticides in my truck, but Orkin has not notified anyone in the company of mite protocol. I did not know the company was advertising mite control. I would not know anything concerning mite infestations. Since I am the only person within Orkin who holds the Louisiana state license, I would be the first to know, but I know nothing and no one else at Orkin would know. I have no idea which chemicals from within the buffet in my Orkin truck to use. We have no knowledge or training in any area of mites. The bottom line is that we do not know Orkins procedures or what chemicals are effective against mites. I would be the first to know." He did promise to come back with a Manager and try to help, but after few weeks, I gave up on Orkin.

    No Company should disperse poisons into a consumers residence or advertise their knowledge of dispersing the proper poisons, as a blatant lie to consumers.

    There is no way in which Orkin can help consumers suffering with infestations of bird mites, or mites of any variety in Louisiana. As the Licensee for Orkin this particular gentleman had no idea how to even begin treatment and furthermore, had no idea that Orkin was advertising mite eradication. The results of Orkins false advertising presents a number of serious concerns for me and all Louisiana consumers. No one with Orkin was educated to help me, and although the Technician was clearly embarrassed and promised to try his best, weeks of my time, wasted.

    Orkin, within Louisiana, cannot help consumers suffering from mite infestations. My particular Orkin technician was honest, he did not rip me off for the "upfront inspection" fee of 75.00. He did not make me sign a contract or proceed to guess which toxic chemicals to disperse in my home. He was honest. Orkin has no real empathy for their consumers. This is false advertising with serious consequences. They are a dishonest company allowed to prey upon consumers who are faced with harsh realities. Truth, mite populations double in just one weeks time. Consumers have no time to waste. However, Orkin is robbing consumers through false advertising. I wonder how many individuals without a penny in their pockets have been charged for fees and precious time by Orkin in Louisiana. Buyer beware.

    We were 50 percent satisfied until we got a bill for treatment we did not receive, impossible because we live in Trotwood Ohio and had a Tornado May 28 2019, so we called them to let them know that we will longer need the service and prior to May 2019, on February 24 2020 will get a bill $83.00 so my mom called customer service, only thing the lady would do was cut the bill down to 43.00 for a service we didn't receive, I would have liked apology, but they sent the bill to a collection agency which would have lowered my moms A+ credit rating, SHAME ON YOU ORKIN FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A 78 YEAR OLD SENIOR CITIZEN.

    I have asked for their service to help my dad get rid of his bed bug problem. They have sprayed and I've seen dead ones because of it, but they are still in his house. They refuse to spray every room no matter how much I say I want everywhere sprayed. When I stay with my one year old we're getting ate up and the exterminator has come by for a couple extra sprays and says he can't find anything and pretty much ignores us showing him bites and bugs we've caught. Getting a call or email back has been lacking and I am at the stage of requesting their money back guarantee so I can put it towards a company who's responsible and respectful enough to help its customer.

    I'm beyond aggravated and setting my child with bites had hit a nerve they don't want to come across. I don't know if it's every Orkin or just the Columbus Ohio branch, but they've failed with no sympathy. We have also requested mice extermination and after one treatment it has shown no difference in our favor. If it's anything like the other treatment I'm expecting in a month's time my father will be evicted by the rats at this point. I spoke so highly of orkin to my father and end up as looking like a liar. Thanks orkin..

    We hired Orkin as a pest prevention when we moved into our new home. We were assured that it would not affect our two cats. I lost one cat last week and came home to find the other had passed away as well. Both had been very dehydrated, the very thing the technician said the spray does to mice. I am very distraught over losing our babies. They should not have had to die like that. The advertisement states your pets are safe. They are not!

    We’ve had problems with the Georgia branch since we started with them. They’re very unprofessional and after billing us twice for the same month, they can’t give us our money back. Even corporate won’t help us! This is ridiculous. I’ve NEVER dealt with a company like this. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

    Before bedbug issue happened I got new bed frame, new mattress, new bedsheets. After 3 years staying in this house bedbug alert! Paid $1400+ to treat bedbug for 4 beds and sofas in the living room. The first day they came I feel peace knowing to get zero bedbugs. After 24 hours of treatments I found 2 bedbugs crawling. It’s okay they say. “Give it a couple days.” 2 days later I collect 3+ bedbug. 3 days later 5+bedbug. Called Orkin in Omaha Nebraska, they came and sprayed so I have to pay $90+ for the treatment again. Same issue as above after 3 days 6+ bedbugs on my new pillow. 5+ crawling on my bed.

    Called Orkin on the 3rd month December 2019. They came on the 20th. Treated the issue. Sprayed. Less than 24 hours 3 bedbug dying. 2 days laters 8 bedbugs collected. 3 days later i saw a nest of bedbug on my pillow. As a medical professional we follow the instructions on how to prevent bedbug, instructions on what to do after the treatment to avoid the bedbug issue from happening but BEDBUGS won’t let me fall asleep! 3 months of treatment. After 1 day of treatment bedbugs came again.

    Very surprised by Orkin's sales tactics. I called to get service at my home and was told that I could cancel a 1 year contract at any time, even though it was technically a one year contract. As it seemed strange, I confirmed with the sales rep 3x, and he assured me that I could cancel ANY TIME! What I would lose is the up front service fee and the ability to call them to service if I was unhappy. Here I am a few months later and told I CANNOT cancel. I asked for the contract which to my surprise was signed by my wife at the time of the service appointment. She thought it was just the service summary for that day and didn't look at it. Very shady tactics from a company I would think is professional. Beware!

    I hired Orkin to take care of a bug issue I was having at my business. They came for months and I continued to pay them. They kept saying that I needed to be patient and it would get better. It never did so I got rid of Orkin and hired a small local company to deal with my issue. The small company took care of it right away. Either Orkin doesn't know what they are doing, or they are just there to bleed your money and not fix your problem. Either way they are a bad company. Zero stars.

    My house had ants problem and we hired Orkin. First tech that came seems competent and treated our home. At the time we signed up for the service, we told them that we will not need treatment every 2 months as we think that was a bit excessive. The operator told us that they will work with us and will treat the home at a frequency that works for us. She also informed us that every time they send someone over, they will let us know via call / text.

    Couple of months after the first treatment, they sent a tech unannounced. I told him that I was never contacted about the visit, he said he was told that I knew he was coming, and that he will let Orkin know that send us advanced notice in the future. Then two weeks later, the same tech came back unannounced again, and I told him the same thing and he left. After another two week later, we got a note on our door saying that our home has been treated without our knowledge.

    Needless to say, I immediately called Orkin and canceled. The manager informed me that I owe them money for two visits, both within the last 2 weeks. I wanted to express that only one visit was done and I will pay for it even when it was without any notice. The manager was rude and said I was interrupting her. After I sit there and listen to her rambling on and on for quite some time, she then realized that only one treatment was done, and quickly took payment for that. Do not trust Orkin, they cannot follow simple directions and will claim that you never told them those instructions. Did I mention that they keep spamming me with emails and text for reviews? So here this is my reviews, Orkin.

    Orkin came by today dressed in a suit. What was his uniform. He look like he was a billionaire going to a ball. I need a pest control. I showed him the details and the fragments I save for testing. They say they don't do testing. He said there's no bugs. What is am I getting bit by snowflakes. It's not even snowing. I don't make this. I don't even give him a star. I would not approve them to help anyone.

    My roommate's home is infested with white footed mice. I spent the weekend cleaning up mouse poop, and setting Tomcat wooden .89 cent traps baited with peanut butter which I placed around her kitchen after locating a nest of shredded red and white paper underneath the kitchen sink. From Friday through Sunday I trapped 14 mice. Sunday, I called Orkin and scheduled an appointment for Monday with a technician to visit. First, Orkin tried to cancel the appointment claiming they were low on technicians because some called in sick.

    But, they found a technician from the Minneapolis office named Kevin ** to visit my roommate's home in St Paul from noon-1 p.m. I followed Kevin around inside my roommate's home. He placed similar traps to Tomcat in my roommate's kitchen without any bait or attractant, as well as in the basement. I never saw him squirt any attractant on the mouse traps. Then, we told him the access to the roof was through the garage crawl space.

    I never saw Kevin take the ladder from his truck into my roommate's garage to go up into the crawl space. I went inside the house when Kevin claimed he was up in the attic crawl space. Then all of a sudden, he was in his truck ready to leave my roommate's house. I ran out to his truck to ask him if he had found the source of the mouse infestation because I never saw him even walk around the outside perimeter of my roommate's house. Sitting in his truck, Kevin claimed he did find it in the back of my roommate's house - a tunnel bored into some rotting wood. Yet, why should I believe him?

    I didn't see him bring his ladder into my roommate's garage from his truck to go up into the attic crawl space. I didn't see Kevin walk to the back of my roommate's house and he didn't invite me to see where this so-called tunnel bored through rotting wood was located underneath the basement windows of my roommate's house in the backyard. I walked into the backyard and couldn't see anything but piles of pine needles. Also, Kevin removed the dead mice that I had trapped from Sunday night -- 7 total -- but wouldn't clean up the blood or poop debris. Why exactly did I pay $290.99 for then?!

    I asked Kevin to plug the holes underneath the kitchen sink where I located a large mouse nest but he refused, stating "it won't do any good." Oh really? Well, stuffing the holes with copper wool or steel wool with calk would prevent future mice from crawling underneath the kitchen sink and inside the attached kitchen cabinets to poop and pee and build another nest!

    I was scammed out of my money because I paid for a service I never received. This Kevin from Orkin didn't escort me to the back of the house to show me where the supposed infestation of mice starts. He didn't show me any evidence of steel or copper wool or calk to be used to plug any holes, especially this so-called tunnel he discovered that the mice had created underneath the basement windows from the outside of the house.

    If you are going to charge $290.99 as a pest control technician, you'd better do what the customer asks you to: show them WHERE the infestation started in their home, show them WHAT you will plug any holes with, PLUG the holes the home owner/roommate asks you to, and put bait attractant on the traps you set. I called the customer service line and asked management to call me. I want a senior technician to come back for FREE to do everything that the technician Kevin wouldn't do. I doubt they'll comply. They got my money already. I filed a dispute for service with my bank to get my money back. And I will do whatever it takes to get my money back. I'm angry that Orkin ripped me off the way that they did.

    We had bed bugs, we called Orkin. We did the prep & they came out for service. The family left & I parked up the street to observe. After we left another truck came & then spent no more than a few minutes inside. They spent 15 minutes visiting with each other & left. Needless to say, we still had a infestation. They came back out, and that guy was good, problem solved.

    We were having a problem with sugar ants in our kitchen, 2 bathrooms and front and back decks. We had used another big name company the year prior to this and were extremely dissatisfied. We started with Orkin in June of this year. The Orkin man started by spraying and setting bait out. The spraying just chased them all around our house with no results. We told him about that after 3 visits. Then he said, "We'll have to get more aggressive". He kept saying that every time he came out. I followed him every time and saw him doing the same thing time after time. So much for more aggressive.

    After 3 months of spending our money with no results I checked online and found out that powdered sugar mixed with borax in 3 to 1 mix was one way to eliminate the ants. I mixed this up and put it in certain places where we were having problems and the next morning there were dead ants all over plus they carry it back to the nest which helps wipe out the nest. I eliminated more ants in one night than Orkin did in 3 months. I fired Orkin. Now after 2 months of powdered sugar and borax we are ant free. Not sure if Orkin was incompetent or just trying to keep us around as paying customers.

    I think Orkin pest control is a really professional Company, I have 1 cat and 3 dogs. I had flea protect for my animals but I guess for my cat it didn’t work because my cat came in the house and within a week or so we had fleas in our basement. We called Orkin and they came over and sprayed in the basement and put sticky traps down too and told us we had to leave our house for a few hours just so we wouldn’t smell the spray he used, so he told us I had to wash every blanket and comforter on every bed and vacuum a few times a day, the guy was a really nice guy very helpful. I would recommend This company.

    All companies want your contract to "manage" your bugs. I want a thorough application each time they show up. The guise of "we will come back whenever you need us" is crap, and an opportunity to do nothing for my quarterly service. It is an inconvenience to make appointments to have this done, otherwise the inside will never get done, hence more bugs! What did I pay for? Do the job every quarter, don't just show up to collect the money! Oh yeah, the last "application" was "last" because the bugs were not gone.

    My apartment complex hired Orkin to come and inspect after I moved in back in 2012 and I like the guy, but he lacks professionalism as I've had to get my apartment sprayed for bed bugs in 2013 and recently he looks for fleas and told me I didnt have them. Guess what. I do and this is the second time I've had to hire someone to take care of my apartment. He hasnt sprayed the outside of my building in a couple of years and when he comes to inspect he is on his phone in/ out. I'm disappointed and may ask my apartment complex if I can refuse him as I've had to hire someone to come to my studio apartment to treat it and I have to remove myself and cat. So disappointed in Orkin. I do not recommend them at all.

    I have one mice, I called Orkin to get rid of the problem. Oh No. 1st time coming out the rep didn't even put a trap in the kitchen where it hangs out. Within that week I saw the mice again, someone different came out. Still didn't resolve the problem. My daughter seen it again, call Orkin to come out. This is the 3rd time.... still no results... I'm pissed now, I'm sitting on the couch. Guess who just come out? The mice. What the.... I'm done with this bogus company!!!

    Do not use them! Roto-Rooter recommended them and they were no good. They charged my credit card twice and did not fix my problem! Try someone else but leave Orkin alone. Check your bank and credit card statements. Stay away!

    When I called them about my mouse problem they came out and started a year contract with me. After about six months the infestation got so bad that I called and talked to the Skokie mgr. He sent someone else out and they suggested that I get my house treated with a steel wool like material that would be shoved between my shingles. They guaranteed that if I spent this 1000 and some change that this would get rid of the problem. On top of that I had this yearly contract with them which even offered me better protection. I went ahead and signed a electronic device, did not get a hard copy of what I was signing in till months later when I asked for it.

    Fast forward a year later still had the infestation the mgr came out because I was so upset to see a mouse in the bed of my grandbaby. The mgr finally told me that he could not do anymore and that there were places like my washer line that needed to be filled before he could get rid of the problem. Okay fair enough but couldn't you of told me this at the first inspection that you Guaranteed me no more mice problem, instead of insuring me that you have seen and gotten rid of worse. So after 50 a month and a thousand and some odd dollars the only thing that I got rid of was ORKIN. :( Also to make things worse do not sign up for auto pay. They take their money before the actual service. Honesty is the best policy something I feel you are not transparent about.

    I had a spider in my sun room that I thought was a kissing bug so I called Orkin to treat for insects. I’ve never had a problem with roaches in my life. Now ever since they came out and they have been twice I’m seeing roaches. They say did the whole house but and outside but it sure was fast. Where did these bugs come from? I heard people say that they will plant bugs in your home but I didn’t believe that but I’m fed up with this.

    At first I was positively impressed by Orkin’s fast response; I had an ant infestation and called them on a Thursday evening after 9pm, hoping to leave a voice message and schedule a visit for two days after the call, but a representative answered my call right away and scheduled a visit for the next day. The same person talked about the plans they offered and I choose the one time visit (that would give me 30 days to be sure the ants were gone) he insisted on putting me on the monthly plan, but I insisted on the one time visitation and hang the phone certain that he had honored my request.

    The representative who came to my house, Danny; told me that my order was designated as monthly and that I should wait to cancel it after few days but I insisted on changing the order to what I have requested and paying the price for it; Danny told me that he would change the order and keep the price and since they had made the mistake, I accepted his offer.

    Danny contacted me a week later to know if that were ants, since there still were some inside the outside planters, he offered to send me his availabilities for the next week, but never did. The next Monday, since I didn’t hear from him, I called the company and requested the follow up visit, complained about his disappearance and on the next Wednesday, the same person came to my house again to reapply the venom.

    A week later he sent me a text message, asking about the ants and I explained that there were still ants and asked if he could come the next day, he ignored my message for 24 hours, responding it on a Thursday evening that he could be at my house between 10 am and 12pm on the Friday. Since I was going to travel that day I declined his offer and called Orkin and talked to his supervisor about all the situation and how I would be out the 30 guaranteed days because his employee wasn’t a good planner; the guy assured me that they would send me a person as soon as I came back from my trip at no charge; we schedule date and time.

    Well, that day came and Danny reapplied the venom, but since it was only outside and I had a meeting around the time he was suppose to come, I sent him instructions of how to enter and leave the backyard without needing me to be around. I thought it was the end of it, until yesterday I found a (charged) invoice of $50 for the follow-up visit in my junk mail.

    I called the company and Debora, the person on the phone, promised to refund my card, but at the same time she started talking about how I changed my plan and tried to excuse all the employees behavior, so l lost my patience, told her that I was tired of dealing with them, and that I don’t need their apology, what I need from them is that they train their employees to honor the clients’ requests and from them to plan their day better so they don’t let clients waiting.

    I am a very unhappy and dissatisfied customer. I started this deal with this company. I tried to cancel my contract with them. It's been 4 months now that I've been dealing with these people to try to close out my contract. And they keep taking money out of my account and causing overdrafts to my account. Which was supposed to be close 4 months ago and here I am still trying to get ahold of someone. Which is virtually impossible that's why I'm leaving this negative review of how bad their billing is and how hard it is to try to get ahold of someone to help you. They love to take the money out of your account but Don't like to return. So please if anyone from Orkin is reading this review. Contact me. I need to put an end to this problem and I'm not saying thank you.

    Orkin came to my home to assess for termites. The tech went into the crawlspace and stated there was no termites. My lower level flooded and I had to pay due to my sump pump cord was knocked loose. The Orkin man knocked my sump pump cord loose and it had not been pumping. There was a pool in my crawlspace.

    I called right away in the am to get the same day service like the website says and the call center was very helpful and pleasant. Said no problem. Made a same day appt for 12-2... Then we get a call from the office saying the call center has no idea what the schedules are and they can't come out for 6 days. By then I'll have 100 mice!!! Very upset. They said they are overbooked. THEN DON'T PUT SAME DAY SERVICE ON YOUR WEBSITE.. Called back after finding others who could come out as promised.

    I hired Orkin to resolve a mouse issue in my two flat in Chicago in June of 2019. They came out an inspected, made recommendations and offered a service. Over the course of the next 3 months the mouse problem has gotten worse. When contacting Orkin they say that they are only scheduled to come out once a month to inspect the issue. Each time they come, they offer more solutions for ME as the home owner to install and perform. It is now the end of September and my tenant is moving out because the issue is not resolved. She has played video of the sounds they make at night and it's haunting. Orkin has been of little help and to date has not resolved the issue. Do not waste your time with them.

    The most important part of my feedback - NEVER EVER ANYBODY ORDER ORKIN. THEY ARE JUST SPAM. I filled out online form on 09.20.2019 and they called us and made an appointment for next day service and estimate from 2 pm to 4 pm. Next day technician call at 1 pm and asked if he could come 40 min earlier which was 1:20 pm and we agreed. He arrived at 1:23 pm checked the house which is 3 bedroom single family house and was explaining what would be better and what kind of services does they offer.

    I have a roommate whom I asked to be at home as I need the whole house to be sprayed. The time that I was in backyard the technician told the roommate that he is not going to spray her room and she could she so did she. When I entered the house he asked me if he could come next day or Monday. I refused and told him that I am not safe and I had two times be bitten by spider and I was in hospital for 3 days. He agreed to spray the house and told me to stay out of the house for two hours. I agreed and left the house.

    After 4 min he left the house telling me that he has to go and serve other client as he had appointment. I was shocked. I told him that I need house to be sprayed from outside and inside but he spayed only living area and kitchen and even after begging him to spray the house from outside and for spiders and mosquitoes. He told me, "I can’t even promise that if I spray you won’t be bitten by mosquitoes. They won’t be gone anyways." and start walking out. I was trying to explain him that house is not inhabitable. He just wave his hand and told me I can cancel agreement if I don’t want him to come on Monday and he left. Disgusting service. He left the house at 2:31 pm telling me that he was here for 1:16 min and he has other customers and same did there customer service. I am SHOCKED. THEY ARE BIG LIARS.

    Orkin Pensacola Office Manager, Charles **, canceled my Orkin termite protection after more than 15 years of service. I was given less than 1 day notice. I had signed a contract just one month earlier for drilling, fogging, and bait traps. Mr. ** states he has full confidence in Orkin's treatment and process, but refuses to continue to treat my home. However, I believe if Orkin was confident they could effectively cover the home, they would continue the contract. Perhaps this is due to the fact that four years in a row, ending in 2013 I had termites and Orkin had to repair the damage. Orkin treated only the local area. Each year, I begged Orkin to treat the entire house, at my cost. Orkin refused. I told them I believe the termites had swarmed internal to the house (from the large number of dead termites found at various locations). Finally after 4 years, Orkin foamed the walls and fogged the attics. No more termites. Yet now, Orkin refuses to cover.

    They lie. Tell me that I can cancel at any time, but when I try to do, the fine print reveals I have to continue service for a year! When I sold my house and canceled my service, they wouldn't stop billing my credit card! They are still charging me every month for a house I don't own (three payments now) and no one at Orkin can ever seem to fix the problem. They can't get anything right. The sent my bills to the wrong address for *months* when I first set the account up. Now, the new owner has Orkin, and they send his bills to my address. Lol. I would never recommend this awful, scam-ridden company.

    Worst service ever encountered for anything. My daughter who is in her early 20's and has an anxiety condition is in her first apartment and it's overcome with cockroaches. It took her weeks to get the owner to bring in pest control and when they hired Orkin she was hopeful the problem would be dealt with. Instead she has a pest control guy who doesn't show up for appointments when she's waited all day. Does the bare minimum when he does show up and keeps putting out bait that doesn't work. The Orkin representative told her he had permission to finally fumigate August 19 but has done nothing to make that happen since. She hasn't been able to eat in her own home for 2 months and hardly sleeps. She's getting put on the back burner because she can't stand up for herself and that's awful customer service.

    I was really hopeful when they brought in what I thought was a reputable company like Orkin she would be looked after. I left message for the branch in Cambridge Ontario to try to find out what they were going to do about fixing the problem and the manager there refuses to discuss the situation with me. Says she can only discuss with the building owner but it's my daughter's apartment that isn't getting looked after. Not to mention that it's Orkin's employee who's not showing up with no notification that he's not coming, breaking appointments and not doing the job he's supposed to. Not even responding to texts. Is this the way Orkin Canada handles their business? We are in a no win situation, the landlord's position is he's hired Orkin, Orkin's position is they won't discuss it with us and my daughter is left in the middle suffering.

    I hope that Orkin head office has better answers than that. My daughter is located in Guelph Ontario. I would like to see her place fumigated like it should have been done already, weeks ago. She has a dog and your technician wants to show up at dinner time or in the evenings when she'd have to stay outside in the dark for hours alone. That's not acceptable or safe for a young woman. No one should have to live this way and your company has been letting it drag on.

    I choose Orkin for more than 2 years, at the beginning Orkin is a good company. But begin at 2019 they totally change. More than 2 years each time When tech finish the job I always pay by cash.     We have been a customer of Orkin for almost 2 years. This past July they charged my credit card for 2 treatments that were not done, then show up 3 weeks after my SCHEDULED appointment to spray. I called numerous times, emailed and messaged with no reply, or call back. Spoke to the Gm ** who promised the manager would contact me later that day. Here we are 3 days later no call from manager nor a call back from the GM. I called for a retreat. Never contacted me back. Horrible company with even worse customer service. Please use a different company if you're looking for pest control.

    Mark ** was the inspector. He was so helpful and so nice. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He could not have been better. One day prior to his inspection, I had found a black snake in my patio storage room. He looked through my storage room and patio and outside my patio, searching for signs of the snake. He found no signs but was so diligent in his searching. I was so impressed with him. Thankfully, his inspection also did not reveal any signs of termites. Thank you again, Mark. You were super!

    So I signed up for service May 2019. The tech came out introduced himself took my info and first payment, well he went out to spray the exterior of my home and was back inside less than 5 mins. My next service was scheduled for 8/3/2019. The tech had the nerves to text me and ask he could come Friday, I said, "No, I'm at work and my appt is set for Saturday at 2pm."

    I get a call from a tech at 12:30 Saturday asking if he could come now. I said, "No, it's at 2pm." He said, "Well is anyone home where I can go now." I said, "No, but I'm on my way." He said, "How long..." Mmm excuse you!! My appt is at 2, he said that would not work for him. You're kidding me. I hung up so let's see how long it takes the Branch Manager, Greg ** to return my call so that I can cancel service as a new customer.. Orkin train these no customer service Techs on how to keep their JOB!!! Your service Sucks!!!

    I was on a quarterly payment schedule for pest control....No advance warning as to when they would show up. When they did show their treatment was ineffective. Getting a live person to speak with is virtually impossible. I cancelled beginning the third quarter (July - Sept ). I received a letter that the account was past due even though they had deposited our check for the third quarter. I have invoices and cancelled checks showing we were up to date yet the agent insisted we had not paid. We cancelled and advised yet they still processed our payment. They apparently need the $135.00 more than their responsibility to provide accurate accounting which is apparently more inept then the home service attendants.

    We really don’t care to further state our case even with concrete proof of payment. Our time is more valuable to us than endless time on hold trying to resolve a simple accounts payable issue. My hope is that those who are seeking pest control services read this review and look elsewhere. Hopefully they’ll lose more than $135.00 due us by not gaining another customer. There are many services out there that are professional and efficient.

    After a week of bombing over and over for fleas and cleaning. I called this company and they assured me they would help me. But the guy came was suppose to do my whole house for fleas and yard and my mom was here... He was here for less than 30 minutes and maybe did my bedroom (IF he did it at all). I'm So so disappointed. They're suppose to come tomorrow at 8am but we will see :((( # still got fleas jumping on us :(.

    They come to our condos quarterly WHEN THEY SHOW UP. They operate at their convenience and do not give advance notice when they are not coming. We wait all morning and don't know they aren't coming until they don't show! Then it is up to the customer to re-schedule. The last two times they were scheduled they inconvenienced all of us.

    We recently had a beetle problem outside. We called Orkin to help us with the problem. After signing up for the one year coverage, they treated the property twice. It was $188 the first time, and it’s soon as he left it poured down rain for two days. I had to call them back and request that he returns. The main issue is that their lack of concern for the customer's time. He was always late but the two times he came to my house and I had to takeoff work to be here to wait for him. The last time I had a scheduled call, which of the time window from 8 AM to 10 AM. I kept checking the app to see the status and it always said we are on our way.

    Then about 10:15 AM it changed to we are running behind. I finally called around 11:15 to see where he was, only to be told the tech had actually called in sick that morning. Which means I missed three hours of work waiting on him and he was never going to show up, and they’re only solution was they could reschedule for the following week. Unacceptable! I was not about to take off work again to be here for him to either be late or not show up. So I canceled the contract after paying $188 for two treatments plus $45 for the first monthly fee. They are a rip off and they do not respect the customers time. I will never recommend them or ever use them again.

    I had a first time spray with this company June 26th and paid $153. Was told the ants would be gone in 3 days. On the 6th day they were still living with us. Orkin came back. Put out bait and was told I wouldn’t see activity in a couple days. 7 days later the ants still shacking up here, rent free. In the meantime Orkin just charged my credit card another fee of $44.50. WTH? I left 2 messages but no one is bothering to call back. Just beware once they get your money, your bug invasion means nothing to them!

    Had them come out to eliminate the spiders and keep other pests away (ants, beetles, mice) but after 2 months of service, spiders and ants worsened. Even got a mouse in the house after preventive measures were taken to keep them away. They also never replaced the monitors/glue traps. Since then I have canceled service and doing my own pest control which is working better than their service.

    We had an infestation of bats at one time and the pest guy came up and said to put water on them and they would go away. Really did work!!!! We had to tear off some boards, put the hose down inside of the boards and then turn the water on. Bats do not like water.

    This company are well educated on different types of bugs and insects. They do spread sufficient amount of spray and traps. I had terrible experiences with German cockroaches. This company gave me time to prepare my place before the actual process of their pesticide against these German cockroaches. They have reacted on a timely manner before these terrible pests multiply so quickly and spread the whole place.

    They charge entirely too much for no guarantee results. They did nothing for us with our very bad Possum problem. I ended up using a cage, motion ring cameras, cat food and several days to catch 6 Possums going under our place, stinking up the place and tearing things up. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

    I do not want to take too much time here, but the customer service from Orkin is horrible. They will sell you one thing over the phone when you are calling them for the first time, but the experience you receive from them actually doing the job is very subpar, from what I experienced. The tech was a very nice guy, but their services (from my experience) are not up to the expectations for what you will be paying on a monthly basis (Let alone the starting cost). The management team does not follow up on their phone calls and when you do get to speak with someone from their customer care team, they are rude and very defensive and will hang up the phone on you in your face. Truly unacceptable.

    I called to cancel my services from them within a few days of their first visit and they did nothing but try and say I was wrong in my expectations from them. If I had known all of this when I called them to begin with, I would not have allowed them to come to my home, let alone charge me $111.00 for doing very basic services. I wish I would have asked for the last customer service lady name I spoke with on 6/12/2019 at around 11:55am, but I did not get a chance to before she hung up on me. It did not seem she cared to do anything other than read a book of the Orkin standards to me. I truly hope she is not the manager, because she does not have a genuine care for customer service. That is my perception from my interaction with her.

    The company may have some great success with others, but for me it was a huge let down and I am deeply disappointed in their overall service. Overall, look elsewhere before coming to Orkin. They seem to care more collecting that first service fee and more about proving you wrong than being understanding and trying to fix the problem, like you would expect from a true customer focused organization.

    The customer service and customer attitude is terrible! I made an appointment because I saw flying termites. They scheduled a free inspection. I informed them to call me ahead of time so I didn’t have to wait at home for four hours. They never called me but the inspector they came and did the inspection when my two daughters were home (13 and 18) neither of whom were informed enough to give them the details of my concerns. I called back that day. They said the tech would call me no later than the next day. I never heard from him the next day.

    I called back again. They said they would call me the next day. By now three days have gone by and I am trying to get in touch with them and trying to give them my business. Asked to talk to the supervisor and they said they would call me back the next day. There are plenty of other termite companies in town who want my business and don’t want to make me work so hard for it. I own my own company and I don’t have time to spend four different occasions reaching them and hanging on the phone while waiting for an answer to no avail.

    I had a terrible flea issue so I called Orkin to have them come out, I had an appointment set up between 8-10 and I called to double checked the night before, the day of no one showed up, I called several times. Finally someone showed up. Almost 2 hours later I paid money to put all 3 of my animals in boarding getting flea treatments of their own while the house was being Treated. This was my first time using Orkin so when I came home that night and talked with a representative who assured me the fleas wouldn’t be of any harm to my animals (one is highly allergic to fleas) and the fleas would be all dead within 5 days.

    Well a week passed and they were worst than before. I called to set up another appointment, I called several different times and have gotten several different answers on the same questions, it changes every time I call. I am beyond furious, this being my first time with them so with all these issues I wouldn’t recommend or even give one star. I paid $350 for them to kick me out of the house for 8 hours and not do anything to the actual issue. My cat is now having more issues than ever because I was told it would be safe for her from Orkin. So fed up. I don’t even want a second treatment because the first was so bad.

    I called for a quote to get rid of mice this past winter 2019. All three people with which I spoke tried to use scare tactics to convince me that if I did any less than their $700/7-visit package, they can't guarantee their service. I stay in a detached single family house. I explained to them that I stayed in an apartment building with shared walls years ago and the entire building was infested, but after only 2 visits from maintenance I never had mice again. So I asked why it would take a professional company 7 times for something it took 2 times for a guy to do. Of course they had no answer. So I got in touch with my old apartment complex maintenance guy and paid him $50 to plug holes in my kitchen and basement and lay traps; which is exactly what Orkin said they would do. I haven't seen or heard a trace of a mouse since. For $50, NOT $700. It's extortion and I'm glad I ignored Orkin's lies.

    I had called this company in 2017 to handle ant issue, last service June of 2018. They said the nest I had was there for 4-5 years and their product would kill the nest. Nope, just found one on my floor last night, they said their product does not last forever... Really, because it has not even been a year and now starting to have the same problem, spent over $800 because that is the only way they "Guarantee their product"?? They stated I have a new problem, no, these ants are very big. 3X the size of a regular Carpenter Ant and was advised by the Service Manager at the beginning that this is due to the nest that has been there from previous owners of my home.

    If the product worked, they would not be still breeding or coming through the same areas as when Orkin was treating. I wasted the money and would never recommend them to anyone. I don't expect the product to last forever, but don't tell me it is a new problem when you were servicing this issue within the past year. Ignorance at its best.

    I hired Orkin back in November of 2018 because I had seen a few mouse droppings and wanted to nip it in the bud. They came over right away and told me it would take a couple of weeks before I would be able to get rid of them. But instead of my problem going away it became worse. I would call and they would send the same person here and he would put down more poison and traps but it kept getting worse. They did send another person over who told me the first person did not seal the holes from the outside of the house and that is why I now have an infestation. He supposedly sealed the holes and again I waited. After 2-3 weeks I was still infested I asked for my money back so I could call someone else. They refused.

    I couldn't take it anymore and hired someone else. In 2 days it got 95% better. Within a week my problem was gone. I suffered for 6 months with mice crawling all over my countertops, getting into my clothes, having to disinfect everything I touched. When I called Orkin they told me they would give me back half my money. I felt since I had to pay the full money to the new exterminator I wanted all my money back.

    Orkin was called to help with mice removal. Did not work and they don’t care. Mice are back with a vengeance. All they did was set up mouse traps the 2 times they were here and that’s it.     This company is horrendous. I will never use them again. We had a contract, supposedly with a guarantee of service for the summer of 2018 - we contacted them no less than a dozen times about how it was not working and to end the contract. No one called or returned emails, they just billed for the contract. THEN TODAY someone shows up a year later to SPRAY WITH NO CONTRACT. He said we never stopped last year's contract!!! WHAT? TALK ABOUT STEALING. We demanded it end repeatedly, there is NO CLEARER way to end a contract. And they show up during the work day and spray without your knowledge or permission and bill you excessively. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY FOR AS LONG AS THEY CAN!

    When called Orkin about bed bug problem. The guy came to talk to us, told us it would be $2100.00. And we could do a PAYMENT plan. Said we had a deposit of $501.61, which I paid. The man told us that our monthly payments would be $60 a month. When they treated, they didn't even treat the whole house and we still find one once in a while. But they can't do anything. When finally got Bill they wanted the whole amount up front. Called and talked to them many times. Last said they will call you back, they never did. I called again got told we had to pay 161.70 a month which wasn't what we were told. And are Bill was 1727.77. Meaning for 12 payments, they're making an extra $212.63 off us. Plus they totally lied to my face about are PAYMENT amount... which is wrong. I'm disabled. I can't afford that PAYMENT. They're cheats and liars, plus they do a horrible job. Still can't get anyone to return our phone calls.

    I signed up for insect control via my apartment's management. The technician came one day late, so I was already a little disappointed. I had some questions about the pesticide application, and the technician answered them. But after finishing, he overheard me explaining the process to my relative, and he started being hostile. He made a mockery of my formal training (which is in the sciences).

    To make things worse, the apartment staff seemed to agree with the technician, who wrongly suggested that I instigated the incident. As I stated earlier, I was talking to my relative, not him. He should have left after doing his job. Belittling my knowledge was unnecessary. This experience has eroded any trust that I have with the idea of professionalism, because the concept is apparently a myth in this increasingly toxic world.

    Do not trust these people. They insist their products are pet safe but that is an outright lie, especially since their techs do not know how to follow instructions, can they even read? They treated our apartment without our permission and sprayed this poison with my sweet curious boy right there! We had told the apartment management not to EVER treat our home with pesticides and not to enter without our presence. They ignored our instructions. It sure seems that the Orkin tech snuck in after we left to go out to dinner, we did not realize they had treated our apartment until our cat got gravely ill with pancreatitis weeks later, he stopped eating.

    Beware, it may not show up right away but it damages their organs, caused eventual kidney failure. So, thanks to the incompetence of both the apartment management and the Orkin death squad our move to our new home we were building became a struggle to keep our boy alive, always knowing that he had been handed a death sentence by these criminals. We could only love and support him until the end - 2 years later. Our home feels utterly empty without his joyful presence, he was such a gift.

    I am livid about this, it has changed our lives forever. We need to pass laws that prevent these companies from invading our homes and killing our precious pets. There were no bugs to kill, I asked the jerk that sprayed the poison, "Why didn’t you use some common sense and leave when you saw my cat there," he said “don’t pull the common sense card on me” and HUNG UP ON ME! So, I assume he had been asked that before and did not want to be faced with the consequences of his actions. They are aware that they are killing our pets, they just DON’T CARE! I am waiting for Universal Justice to take its course and yes, I am helping it along in any way I can, they need to feel some pain, my little boy sure did and now I have to live with this pain, until I can join him in heaven. BEWARE!

    Orkin treated bed bugs in my home. I paid them $2,100.00 for the whole home treatment (as they do not do a one room only treatment because they can’t guarantee the bed bugs will not run to other rooms. This costing more money in the long run). The Tech explained to me that I had the option of a one time treatment, which is only guaranteed for 30 days, or I had the option to add 1 year monthly follow ups, thus providing me a one year guarantee in case bed bugs ever return. Treatment was great and they followed up in 7 days to make sure bed bugs were gone and followed up Monthly after that. The Tech took the time to educate me about bed bugs and how easy it is for ANYONE (even myself) to come into my home and unknowingly have bed bug eggs or the adult bed bugs on their clothing, thus infesting my home again.

    I’m so glad I chose to have the monthly follow up inspections/treatment for a whole year because I had out of town company who actually brought bed bugs back into my home again. Orkin was great... they sent the Tech out to treat my home again and since then I’ve had not other problems. It is definitely worth the money to have a one year added guarantee.

    After all, it’s better to be proactive than reactive. My experience with Orkin was a great one and life saver. They never hesitated and sent the tech out right away to take care of the bed bug re-infestation problem. My experience has been WONDERFUL! And I will recommend Orkin to everyone. They stick by their word, are honest, and as a customer I can’t thank them enough! I rate them 5 stars (would rate them a 10 - but 10 is not available) as compared to any other pest control company. I will never use anyone other than Orkin for any of my pest control needs. Thank you Orkin for a job well done!

    I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years, that is until 2-28-2019. My service was provided from Orkin located at 2640 E 84th Place, Merrillville IN 46410-6424. Being a senior citizen there are times when our funds run a little short. Yes my bill is 90 days past due (3rd time in 30 years). Called your office and stated I will pay the $169.00 in full on March 13, 2019. The secretary was totally disrespectful and absolutely no help blaming Corporate for cancelling the service.     I really don't write reviews but I want other consumers in the market for pest control. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. I have a duplex with 2 different entries. Had treatment for ants on September 2018 which I paid with my card. They then came back out in November only servicing the 1st floor with no notice or communication with me of this appointment. I got a bill in the mail and I called customer services questioning the bill. They said they came out and service the home. I explained that this is a duplex and that I wasn’t going to pay for full service if I wasn’t getting it and I wanted to cancel.

    I didn’t hear anything back from them until today and it was a credit collector. I told her that I didn’t have a problem paying half the bill because that’s all I got was half the service. She was so rude to me and very accusatory to me and said there was nothing that she can do. I don’t know how long I was on the phone with her trying to explain to her that I didn’t want their services and that there was something that they can do about the bill. Anyway long story short, she said that she would call me back and a few hours later I have not heard from them. This company is a ripoff. My ant problem never went away with their products but I did manage to gain control with home remedies. Think before you use their services.

    I call Orkin to see what their prices were like in comparison to Terminix. I told the Orkin rep. that "I will get back to you if I choose your service". From the moment I hung up the phone I received numerous texts, calls and emails from several representatives, not for 1 day but several days. I was being abused by them taking my time to check emails, text and calls. I had enough, I called and spoke to the manager, it still continued. I had to go so far as to state "I WILL REPORT YOU FOR HARASSMENT IF THIS DOES NOT STOP IMMEDIATELY". Their prices are much higher than Terminix, and Terminix respected me and allowed me to contact them. I forgot to mention this, I told Orkin they were calling my place of business, but they were so inconsiderate of me as a possible customer. They did not care.

    I really don't write reviews but I want other consumers in the market for pest control. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. Either the techs that come out have no clue about any of the products they're using or they just don't show up. We are scheduled for a monthly service at my business and every month and 1/2 I'm calling them to remind them. Crazy so I cut my losses and made the phone call to another pest control company. Don't waste your money or time with this company. If I could have left no stars I would have.

    In Florida we need termite control. I had Orkin come out and they drilled holes around my house to put the termite liquid into the ground. They said PET SAFE but really anything that kills bugs is not safe! The holes they drilled in between concrete slabs were covered with a concrete patch which just blew away. My Service Dog liked to lie at the end of the garage as he could view most of the farm. Orkin came out twice to see this patch job but they didn't do anything. A few months after the service my service dog became ill and within 4 days he passed away. Now tell me this is pet safe!

    They pulled up weed control fabric next to the house and still they have not put it back. They covered some spots with grass clipping. I am paying them a lot of money and now I have lost my service dog who helped me walk and balance and I still have open holes. What can I do? If I stop paying them it will ruin my credit rating. I can't do the physical work to fix the landscape fabric and what will happen to the mobility dog I am currently training?

    I live in Phila, I had Orkin come out for a mouse problem. They had me sign a contract for a whole year over one Thousand dollars. Said they could not solve the mouse problem. Had me pay another thousand dollars for something called a exclusion. The mouse problem is solved but they are still nailing a grand for the contract. My issue is why didn’t they tell me. They could of just did the exclusion to begin with. Now I am paying a thousand dollars extra for a problem that has been solved! What a scam!!! They do not make appts to come to your home. They just drop by then do not do the service because most of the time when they drop by I am in work. If you need pest control Do yourself a favor and call Terminix.

    Had treatment for spiders on 11/27/18. Got a bill a week later. Paid it the next day by mail, credit card. Today 12/18/18 get a "friendly reminder" (i.e. past due). Called Orkin to let them know the service was TWO weeks ago, I paid it the day after I got the first bill, and a snotty rude unprofessional lady told me it was late, I should have called to pay it and not mail it. I told her it wasn't past due. She went on and on that it should have been paid up front and had I done that it wouldn't be past due. I said I wasn't asked to pay that day - but paid in a week when I got a bill. She wanted to charge it then and now, I said no since I just sent in the info to charge my account. I didn't want to be double charged (will watch my credit card closely). She was so rude to me and very accusatory to me. Bad experience and crappy customer service from Orkin staff.     My initial service began in the Spring of 2018 and I signed up for the mosquito and crawling bugs service for the exterior of my home, including front and backyard. Upon the assessment of the backyard and the fact that I didn't have any trees within my yard, the agent sprayed the grass and stated that I wouldn't need the service package, so I can cancel it and the would be only $50 for that day. I did so but was then charged another $85 for the balance of the service. I called customer service throughout the summer requesting a credit and they stated they saw in the system exactly what I said and would take care of it.

    Firstly, I never signed up for auto billing on the card that I provided for the service for the initial service. I stated that they can invoice for services. So they took it upon themselves to charge my card for a service that I had already cancelled. Secondly, I had to call them back several times after that to rectify the matter and it never happened. Until the next situation arose when the agent came for the October service for the package that I did keep for crawling bugs. I wasn't home and so he didn't have access but he commenced to walk around one side of the house and the front, which was all he could access but charged me for the full service. I saw him on my cameras and that on top of the other situation made me determine to cancel the package. I was not going to leave it to chance so I then changed my credit card number as well. THIS IS A SHADY COMPANY!

    We've had Orkin come out 4 times to control a flea infestation. 3 of the 4 times I was told to prepare the house, our pets, and my time away one way only to have the technician arrive and say it would be done another way and my preparations were unnecessary. The tech is polite but has left my floors gloppy wet, even after 4 hours out. I'm not supposed to mop this up but we can't wade through puddles of wet chemicals, either. I really don't know what else to do. We've spent a lot of time and money and the company's products have not terminated the problem.

    First I will say my exterminator is great. He’s friendly, polite, explains everything to me. With that being said, he has been out to my home 3 times since end of Sept 2018 to treat for cockroaches and I have been told every time give it about a week you shouldn’t see anymore. All the bait traps are empty, and I am still finding cockroaches. I am now finding baby cockroaches throughout my entire bathroom. Today alone I have killed 15-20 of them and the last time Orkin came out he said this should take care of them once and for all...not! I have heard numerous times we aren’t infested, but I call **. If they can breed with bait traps and poison gel out then someone is not doing what they are supposed to be doing properly. I have already paid quite a bit and very upset with the results. Again great serviceman, very poor company.

    I had a bad experience with Orkin. I had scheduled my home spray for only one time. They came and sprayed my home for the agreed charges of $104. After one month I saw another charges for the similar amount in my credit card statement then I called them. They said that, "We have sent you a technician to inspect home and he did it." I said, "I have never seen your person come to my home. You should have called me for appointment then send your technician and he did not show up at all. We are always at home 24/7." Then I dispute the transaction through my bank but Orkin charge me for no services provided to me.

    To whom it may concern: Our experience with your company was terrible. We called to schedule an appointment to take care of yellow jackets issue that we had. My husband took a day off work for set appointment. About 30 minutes before the end of the appointment window we get a call stating that the tech will not be able to make it. We called the office and things got rearranged and technician came out. He treated the area and it turned out that the bees made a beehive in the wall which Orkin will remove when they arrive for the follow up appointment. The office called next day and scheduled the appointment for Saturday between 9 am-12pm that week. Around 11:55 am we called the office to check when the tech would arrive. We were told that there is someone to scheduled and the office has absolutely no way of getting in touch with the tech. Which was surprising since it's 2018 and everyone has a cell phone.

    Around 4 pm that day we received a call from a tech stating that he was held up on a job and will be arriving shortly. He arrived checked the wall to see if there is no buzzing sound anymore. When asked about removing the hive he said that Orkin doesn’t do that and said that he has to get home to work on his Harley. We were a little taken back by his response as we paid for the service and were expecting to have a professional remove the beehive instead of us. Our experience with Orkin was less than 1 star – between the lack of assistance from the office to a tech that did not want to be bothered by his job. Needless to say I will not recommend Orkin nor will I be using them in the future.

    I live in Little Rock, AR and every other month, I have a scheduling problem. 2 months ago I was on the schedule, never received a call. Friday I got an automated call that I was schedule for today between 12 and 2 pm. I called, talked to a clerk and rescheduled for 8-10 am due to my work schedule. No one showed up today. When I called at 1015 to see what happened, the clerk said, "Oh yes, I remember talking to you Friday." She searched something and then said, "The tech must have been overloaded." I have been with this company 2 years and when I had a regular tech, there was never a scheduling problem. I understand they are understaffed but we have all month to schedule this right!

    I initially set up a recurring payment upon hiring the service and they have continued to charge me additional money outside of the agreement putting my bank account negative, they reimburse the money but never any charge incurred from the bank because they billed when they were not suppose to. The policy of ORKIN is to not refund charges incurred by the bank even if it is because they are not billing correctly. Only a company that continues to bill without permission would have this type of policy in place. I went to ORKIN from Terminix, they make Terminix look like the cream of the crop. They have also billed me for service that was never completed and I know very well that they have not because my gate is not operable and have never attempted to contact me to get in the yard.

    Warning: Do not use this service! If you need pest control, there are several other options that are much better. I was a loyal customer for many years even though it was difficult to see that they made any difference. After I stopped service for a brief period, they charged me $250 for one visit. They typically show up for 5-10 minutes and charge over $100 each time. Another expert came and showed me all of the things that Orkin missed. Poor service and no loyalty.

    Made a appointment at 7 am for Saturday 8/18 to remove wasps as my wife is has a very bad reaction from the sting of one. They said they would be here between 12 noon and 3 pm. No show. When I called they told me it was for the 23rd. Although the app. was made before 2 pm, for same day service according to their website she told me she could not get ahold of any tech as they all left by noon. So I was left to Monday to find another co. to do it right away. I waited for them and my Saturday and my wife's health at risk now till Monday. Thank you so much Orkin. Do not bother with them.

    I hired Orkin about 2 months ago to treat my yard for moles. They charged $650.00 for 4 treatments. After 3 the technician said they were gone but you get 30 days guarantee. After a week I saw more mole trails and they reluctantly came back for 4th treatment. Well my 30 days are up and my yard is now again filled with mole mounds and trails. This treatment is a complete waste of money. Each time they came out they were here for maybe 10 minutes at the most. I don't see how they stay in business.

    I would never recommend Orkin, first they don't tell you that they just go 3 ft from your house, after that they charge more. Next they don't spray for everything, I have earwigs and ants, guess what? Still have them each on then I would call telling them that they are still in my house. One lady said I would be charged again. Another month a lady said that I would have a technician at my house the following week at no charge. Well guess what? No one showed up, surprise. This Orkin is a big joke, been with them for almost 3 months and it's horrible, customer service knows that I can't have my cellphone on me due to my job to email me so I have someone at my house and NO they still freaking call me. Do you not put notes in the computer because each and every time I call you guys I tell you that I can't be reached at my job by phone to email me. I hate this place and now I am stuck in a contract and still have ants and earwigs.

    He did not treat the whole house for roaches. Whenever you're treating for roaches you need to do the whole house not just two or three little bitty spots with gel on the hinges. Didn't address my other bug issues. I'm still having bugs crawl out my cabinet when I open it up get my glasses. He didn't move anything. He just open the doors and says, "Oh looks like you caught it early enough." He put out a few treat sticky traps and I paid and I'm not happy. Tap that one so you some money go to the store get you some sticky traps.

    Orkin Broward County Florida - Took them 2 months after inspection to actually schedule a termite treatment although there were active termites on the property, new residue appearing daily, & swarming every night. When you call the office, often you get a recording asking that you leave a message, no one EVER calls back. The staff, when they do answer the phone, tend at times to be rude and impatient. They finally scheduled the tenting after multiple persistent phone calls from me and my insistence that they do so. I was told it would be done on a Friday. When mid day rolled around and still no tent, I was lied to by the office staff and told it would be up by 6:00 PM. The tent was NEVER PUT UP. Multiple calls to the 'emergency' number were never returned. Finally through some ingenuity of my own I managed to find out that it had been rescheduled for the following day. NO ONE EVER BOTHERED TO TELL ME!

    I will give credit where it is due. The gentleman in charge who actually managed the procedure was polite and professional. But the lack of communication and the stress the whole experience caused me, along with the complete lack of concern for the customer are inexcusable. My impression is that, since we had been paying yearly for a guarantee, they had our money and were in no hurry to take care of us, as we were not new business. From beginning to end, very unprofessional and terrible customer service.

    My family had worked with Orkin previously for years, but we recently had a bed bug problem and called them in and had a TERRIBLE experience. Based on the inspection alone which you had to pay for ($95) I never want to use Orkin again. Upon entering the home he told us what bed bugs were (...I called and told them we knew we had bed bugs because we have had previous experience, but you must pay for the inspection, and it seems that there was no communication on our specific situation between person I talked to on the phone and the guy that came to our house).

    The guy wouldn't tell us how bad the infestation was at all, and basically used fear tactics to try to get us to buy the heat treatment on the spot ("by now they're under all the carpets, and in every crevice, you want to get the treatment as soon as possible"). When I asked questions about a chemical treatment on the one room we personally had seen them in, he wouldn't answer me on if they even did chemical treatments, and changed the subject. He was extremely condescending in explaining what bed bugs were and how to get them fixed.

    We called Terminix the next day and they have FREE inspections, the guy that came to our house was extremely knowledgeable about the subject and talked us through the problem for an hour versus the Orkin guy staying for 30 minutes avoiding questions. Terminix is more expensive for a heat treatment but I think it's extremely worth it if you can afford a few extra hundred dollars.

    I called Orkin last year to get rid of roaches. I had fought them for years and even though I had thought I had won the battle, I then got neighbors from hell. Once the people moved and their water was shut off, I noticed the hoard of bugs showing up in my house. I was just tired of fighting them. Orkin came within the week. He looked around and started to work. No chemical smells and no stains. Every cabinet, drawer, crack and crevice was sprayed. He put down sticky traps and small bait thing.

    He then sprayed outside all the way around my house. He explained that it would be about 2 weeks before I seen a big difference. He was so right. I did sign for 1 year so he comes every 2 months. I only pay $77 a visit. Haven't had any bugs since a month after the first visit but would recommend this company every time. I don't remember the man's name but he is always the same guy. He is elderly and probably the smartest person I know when it comes to extermination.

    I chose Orkin for a pest issue at my house we just bought. Orkin beat the price a competitor offered so of course I went with them as I knew this would be an ongoing issue requiring Orkin to come out often. First appointment was great, the technician was on time and thorough. After 10 days we still had an issue and asked for them to come out and spray again which you get free during the monthly spray time period. I called our local office, made the appointment for as soon as possible, the day of the appointment no one shows up. I never received a call when they decided to cancel that appointment and they reschedule to whatever date they chose. I only found out when checking my online account and I saw the date was changed.

    I called the local office, and I’m told the tech is on vacation and she gives me a new date for scheduling. We had to wait three weeks from the first appointment to get an emergency appointment set up, by this point the second appointment falls into the new month as a regular visit. Today the tech was scheduled from 12-2 pm, it’s 3:30 pm and my husband has yet to see him. He called the local office and had to leave a message and has yet to hear back. The communication with customer service is not good, and to cancel a set appointment and reschedule without calling the customer from the start is so rude. People take time off work and rearrange their daily lives to be at home to meet the technician and then no one shows up. I should have paid more money and stayed with the competitor (Terminix), they were always on time, had thorough communication, and did many follow ups.

    When a pest control company came to my door and offered me a lower price for a better service I called Orkin while they were standing at my door. The lady I talked to offered to match their price and I told her no thanks as I decided to go with this other company. I told her I wanted to cancel and she said she took care of it. She insisted there was no further action required by me. Then I noticed almost a year later I’m still being charged quarterly for their service which means I’ve been paying for 2 services for almost a year when Orkin was supposed to be canceled! When I called to talk to a manager he was condescending and said that they keep record of everything and there was no record that I ever canceled, essentially calling me a liar.

    I told him it made no logical sense to have 2 services come for the same thing and pay double. Then he proceeded to tell me how much money it costs them to do the service as if I care since it was a mistake on their part. I made them send me an email confirmation for canceling my service today since the first lady failed to do it. I’m beyond livid at this point! $500 our of my pocket for a service they didn’t cancel and I didn’t need and didn’t even TRY to make it right. Pretty much just blamed me. I will never do business with them again.

As far as their customer service staff and scheduling goes, they are terrible. Many times they get the appointment time wrong. When I am called to confirm my appointment and I ask to reschedule it, they huff and puff and are rude like it's hurting them to do their job. I don't appreciate the bad attitudes. I feel like the communication between the customer service staff and technicians is very poor which is probably why the techs show up at my house at the wrong time/day.     Orkin came to my home two weeks ago last Friday to do a Spring maintenance treatment. The man who arrived was told what past issues that we had experienced with insects and where the problem areas in our house were located. I showed him our crawl space under the house and told him that the floor was unfinished concrete and he would probably need knee pads. He took one look inside the crawl and announced that he was too large to get in there, even though I am as large as he is and I have been in there numerous times in the past. He informed me that he would have another (smaller) tech stop out the following Monday to treat the crawl space. I waited all day Monday and no tech called or showed up at my home. I attempted to call the nearest Orkin dealer in Alsip, Illinois to find out why no one had shown up. I got a recording informing me to leave my name and phone number and they would contact me.

    I waited until Thursday and still no call. My wife finally contacted them on Friday of last week and they informed her that a tech would be at our home between 8am-10am on Tuesday (yesterday). I waited until 10:30am and no tech had yet arrived. I contacted Orkin's corporate office in Atlanta to complain. They advised that they had contacted the Orkin office in Alsip and that I would receive a phone call later that day.

    That afternoon, I received a phone call from an Orkin tech who informed me that he had been scheduled to come to my home between 8am-10am that day but somehow forgot. He promised that he would come to my home today (Wednesday) between 8am-9am to finish the job that the first tech failed to do. Besides being undependable, Orkin, at least in The Alsip office, is virtually impossible to speak with a live person during normal business hours. I have always been met with a recorded message and then left to wonder if I will get a response to my concerns, such as this one. Orkin did, however, take the service charge out of our checking account without delay even though they didn't finish the job. I am very unhappy with their lack of service.

    Updated 06/22/2018: First of all, see the review that I posted on April 25th of this year for background on my experiences with Orkin. Last Monday, I had an appointment for an Orkin tech to come to our house for a Spring treatment both inside and outside our house. The appointment was set for between 9am-11am. I waited until 11:30 am and no tech called or showed up. I had a prior appointment on the previous Friday between 5pm-7pm that was cancelled by the tech when he called my home @ 4:45 pm on Friday, informing me that he was ill and made the new appointment for the following Monday.

    I contacted Orkin customer support to complain and a tech came out on Wednesday morning and did the treatment. I had been previously informed by the manager of Orkin in Alsip, Illinois that this treatment would be free because of the past scheduling issues. My wife informed me Wednesday afternoon that we were charged $20 for the service and Orkin e-mailed me a statement verifying this fact. I am beyond angry at this point. Orkin has proved themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy and now I wonder if they did a good job in applying treatments to control our pest issues. My faith in them is rock bottom at this point and I certainly won't be recommending them.

    We called this company to eradicate our bedbug problem since Dec. 2017. 5 treatments $2K later it is now April 2nd 2018 and we are still finding bed bugs. We have laundered all the laundry in the house multiple times and have done everything the company has asked us to do to prevent spreading them throughout the house. I am very upset with them. I called them and demanded they come back and treat the house for free. They are agreeing to come back tomorrow. This better be the last time we have to have them come to the house. I feel like we've been scammed and I am not happy. Just be wary about calling these exterminator to your house. Remember pest control is a business not a hobby.

    These fine people have been working in my home since Dec 2018 on a mouse invasion. They were here each time we called and made weekly trips to change traps and seal holes found. Today, we caught number 50. Yes, 50 of the little darlings who took up residence. I will forever be grateful to these wonderful folks at Augusta, GA Orkin. Only the best!

    Joe came out for the first time 2 weeks ago. What an awesome person and customer service!!! Joe reassured us we were doing the right thing and that it wasn't as bad as we thought the cockroaches were.     My experience was a non-experience! I find Orkin too big a company to be bothered with potential customers. In order to come to inspect they give a 4 hour window and claim they will give a call 30 minutes before coming. It is a no non-sense take-it or leave-it condition and their customer service applies that rule to the letter. My question is why can't they agree on a time and keep it. Do they think (like bugs) we have nothing to do but to wait for them as if we are the bugs and they come to destroy us. No thank you! I am not interested in this kind of non-customer focused customer service. Good luck to this big company who will not be big for long with this kind of process to earn new customers.

    On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 10:48 AM, I received a call from a Orkin representative named Rouel ** saying that he had me scheduled for an appointment for today. This is absolutely not true. I NEVER made an appointment with him for today. He actually left a message on my answering machine. I was home when he called but opted to ignore his call. Immediately after receiving his call, my intercom rang which I ignored since I was not expecting any visitors. Then within minutes, someone knocked at my door.

    I suspected it was the Orkin rep due to the sequence of events. Then I heard him spraying something in front of my door. Mind you, the area he sprayed is a hallway which is a common area and has nothing to do with my apartment. The area he sprayed is maintained by building services. After he left the premises, I looked outside of my door and saw an unknown liquid on the floor. I took a picture of said liquid. Then as I was looking at my email account, I saw a bill from Orkin for $113.23 which I will be disputing with my credit card company since I never scheduled an appointment. This is absolutely unprofessional and I am filing this complaint for the reasons stated above. How dare I be charged for a service I never received.

    I would like the actions of Rouel ** investigated. If he billed me, how many other people has he done this to. This is my second encounter with Rouel ** in which I have found his actions to be questionable. In December, 2017, I made an appointment for December 29, 2017, for a specific time but he came earlier than expected and insisted that was the time we had scheduled the appointment for.

    We use the in ground units. We have had great service but when it came to refinancing, they wouldn't fill out the form necessary causing me to have to pay for an inspection outside of the company I already pay for one. They claim it's a liability!! A liability from what? They are supposed to be protecting my home already. Sounds like fraud to me.

    The Orkin estimator showed up at my Mom's condo, yesterday morning, unannounced. He said the Orkin office received a call from Mom saying she had termites. She let him in and she complained about the ants that Orkin sprays for. He went into her bedroom and came out with a diagnosis of bedbugs! I have had experience with bedbugs, know what to look for etc. He was showing me DUST in the bed frame. He went out to his car, for something. Came back in and miraculously found a bed bug in a knothole in the bed frame slats! I knew right there he planted it. He scared my Mom to death.

    She believed him and signed up for $1,300 in treatments. Only guaranteed for 30 days. He was all over the house, even the attic... drumming up business. My daughter and I tore the room apart last night. Steamed everything... No bedbugs. This conman told us, Mom was the third customer he had that morning. The other 2 customers got surprise visits. He claimed Orkin was called for groundhog and flea infestations. Really? He was just drumming up business... period. Fraud!

    Extremely unprofessional, absolutely terrible customer service. I had called Orkin for an ant problem we were having, and on 3 different occasions, I spoke with different people from their call center. Each time I had them explain what the charges would be, and what they would cover. The first guy I spoke to was knowledgeable about pests, but was confusing explaining the pricing. Someone called me back later that day to offer me 10% off of what the first guy had quoted, and I told them I would speak to my partner about whether or not he wanted to go ahead with it. A 3rd person called back and since I wasn't sure about going ahead with the service, had this person explain the pricing also so that I was very clear on what to tell my partner about the cost. Each time I spoke with someone, they said that it would be one price for 7 visits throughout the year.

    We have never had to call a pest control company before, so I had no idea what to even compare the pricing to. After I talked with my partner, he gave the go ahead. Scheduled someone to come out. A guy from their local office came out the day we had scheduled, and was super friendly and knowledgeable about pests. When he went to get started, he then explained a COMPLETELY different pricing system than what the previous 3 people had explained to me on the phone -- amounting to nearly $100 each time they were to visit, 7 times a year. That's right -- they wanted to charge almost $700/year to come out and treat (with product I later found you can buy online). There was no way we would be able to afford what this guy was now telling me, and he had no idea about the 10% off pricing they had told me on the phone.

    I told him about the 3 people explaining the pricing very differently, and he said he would contact his manager and have him listen to the call transcripts, and they would get back to me. They never got back to me and never followed up at all. Someone a few days later called from the call center, asking why we hadn't gone through with the treatment, and I explained it all to him. He proceeded to ARGUE with me & talk over me, basically saying that I was trying to rip them off! I kept telling him someone needed to listen to those transcripts & they would hear exactly what I was telling him. He said they were going to listen to them right then, and get back to me. They never followed up at all and never got back to me. I strongly suspect they all listened to the transcripts (or maybe not) and decided that they just were not going to honor the pricing system that had been repeatedly explained to me.

    Extremely unprofessional and terrible customer service, to not even call back having listened to the call recordings. Not only that, but we were able to take care of the ant problem ourselves, and for hundreds of dollars cheaper. I had heard bad things about Orkin in the past, about people paying for them to take care of bugs, charging an exorbitant amount, and the problem not going away, but I thought I'd try and take a chance with them. Never, ever again. I would not recommend them, simply for how awful their customer service and treatment of customers was on every possible level. Save your money, and buy stuff off of Amazon. You will be very glad you did and avoided this company.

    I believe Orkin plays on the fears of the homeowner. They made specific promises and never followed through on any. They did not locate where the mice were getting in. As a matter of fact, they really never looked. They were supposed to come to empty traps - when called they wanted to schedule for days later. I found and plugged the openings. Their baits did not attract or catch any mice. Performed services outside that were not requested. Wish I had read these reviews before I signed a contract.

    Paid 100 first visit. All they did was put down traps... Guy was in the house 20 minutes. Didn't do a thorough investigation at all. Sat in truck. Came back with a contract that last a year which I didn't know about. We sealed the home and did a great job in catching the bugs. Don't waste your time or money in hiring these losers. They make empty promises come out and do nothing.

    No one ever explained my contract to me! They came January 19th 2018, he came and left. Did not know he was here, 'til I looked outside as he got in his truck! Not doing anything around and in my house! Next I received a email that they had raked $100.00 out of my account! Very upset, called them. Said she would put the $100.00 back in my account!     Two guys came out to my house and did service to my home in Kansas City, Ks. And it's been a month now and I needed my chainsaw out the garage. I went to grab it and it's missing. These have been the only guys in my garage. And also I work in the house and I bought my mother a system to turn the lights on and off with her Android still in the box and I went to hook it up and it's nothing in the box. My uncle referred these guys and my uncle notice he had a items missing as well. I would never in my life let a Orkin personnel in my house ever. I would not recommend these individuals by any means.     I had a infestation situation in a large home and didn't know where they all came from. Orkin explained roaches were travelers. With the many people in and out they can be in a purse, luggage, bag of clothes brought in the home. Never thought in 3 weeks I would be free of them. Orkin came in, educated me on what I need to do on my part. It was teamwork. No grease on the counters, stove, cabinets etc. Orkin explained that they feed off this... Food. Cracks I needed to seal the spaces. Behind the stove and refrigerator, I needed to make sure it to was spotless. The house from the looks looked very clean. But Orkin press his hands above the stove cabinets and show me how sticky it was. "Grease", he said. Then I pressed my hands and it was sticky with hard to see grease. So I pull out the stove and refrigerator and dishwasher. I washed down all cabinets until I could feel no grease. As Orkin told me to do.

    I purchased clear sealer and sealed all cracks or openings. Orkin removed the electrical outlets and spray some type of mist. All vents were done this way with mist. Orkin exterminate the entire house. But his work was far from being done. This only kills the live ones, Orkin explains. The babies to be born are protected until they come out. I have a fear of bugs so Orkin came if I called them with no problem. A few times the first week because I called them and again the next week because I called them. They understood my fear and was there for me. In 3 to 4 weeks they were all gone. You could find a bug or roach anywhere. I continued keeping the counters and cabinets free of grease.

    People would tell me everyone has roaches or bugs, "this is Florida". This is so far from the truth. Orkin say no one has to live with bug or roaches. No one. So people stop blaming FL. The price was fair and some say they are higher. I paid only about $77 every 2 months and I would have paid more. If you have bugs in your home or apt buildings I recommend Orkin. #1 in Pest Control. But understand they work with you to get the job done. Do your part and Orkin will do the rest. You can't expect results if you continue to keep food and trash. Basically a filthy home. Listen and let Orkin educate you. Just do your part and the experts will do the rest. They may cost businesses more than other pest control. I rather pay a little more and get results.     We signed up for service in May 2017. I was told that this would be a series of 4 visits. The technician never contacted me to schedule dates, he would just schedule them and call me a day in advance to notify me of the visit. Once the four visits were completed, I assumed that would be it. He called me over the weekend to "remind" me of the appointment he had on Monday to service my home. I immediately sent a text stating that we no longer require service, to which he replied, "No problem, you just have to call to let the company know as well."

    On this call, it was stated that there is a 30 day cancellation policy. For what? I was told this contract was just for 4 visits, which were already completed. I was advised that this would be escalated to a manager for further review. Yesterday I get a call from the technician, confirming cancellation of service. I explained what they had told me, and he says not to worry, he will send this to management and it will be taken care of. Today I get another call, stating that I am required to give 30 days notice of cancellation. Needless to say, I cancelled today, and will not be utilizing the final service that I am being forced to pay for.

    I will never do business with such an unprofessional company as Orkin. My first appointment for December 8th was cancelled that same day. I had an appointment for today 12/14/2017 from 12 to 2 p.m. I called the office a 2:03 and the rep said she would try to call the tech for an update and put me on hold. She stated the tech would not answer his phone but she would keep trying and call me back. I tried to call again at 3:39; no answer so I left a message asking for a return call. It is now 4:45 and I have not received a call. So I wasted a full vacation day for nothing. I work in customer service and would never leave a customer hanging the way this company did to me today. I will post this same email with the Better Business Bureau so hopefully save some frustration for someone else.

    I love this company and the Man (AZIZ) who comes to do my treatment. He is knowledgeable and has a great Attitude. I had a previous company that didn't do a good enough job at controlling the problem that I had. I will always keep this company and refer to everyone I know. They are an honest company with no frills.

    I rent an apartment out of a very nice apartment building. I have lived here for 6 years with no pest issues. Last year, a new tenant moved in downstairs that was a nightmare all around. Along with ** use, they brought the dirtiest of users/people, creepy people, filth, and cockroaches. After 2-3 months of them living here, we started to notice one here, one there. Within 6-7 months, the building was completely infested. We tried bombs, sprays, traps, nothing work. After a year, they were finally evicted, and Orkin was called. Their first time here, they were scheduled for 4:00 pm. They didn't show up until 7:30, and the exterminator said he was tired, it was late, and that he would come back the next day. None of the tenants were happy about this because we all waited, and made sure we were home at 4:00 when they were suppose to come. Anyhow, they came back the next day, and put dabs of paste in the cupboards (some of them) and in the drains, and left.

    We waited a week, and it actually seemed like the infestation got worse. Since that day, (two months ago) they have returned 8 times at our request, (due to complaints) and each time they show up with spray that does nothing. In fact, one of the times, the exterminator opened my cupboards and began spraying my dishes. Long story short, I am not impressed. They have not helped at all! I do not find dead cockroaches... I have to keep finding their nests and destroying them with bleach, bug sprays, bombs, and anything I can think of. They advertise satisfaction guaranteed, and charge a bundle! Well, I am NOT satisfied at all!!! Now they are saying that it may take 6-8 months to work. WHAT!? How is that even possible? Maybe 6-8 months before we realize this is not working, and cancel services?? Not this girl! I'm done with Orkin!
