    We needed a quality dishwasher. Goedeker's Appliances had the best price of anywhere I researched, free shipping, and good reviews. I ordered in December, 2020. They took my money at the time and promised a delivery in February, 2021 (COVID was raging and that was the stated culprit for the delayed delivery). February came and they pushed delivery out a month. Delays were repeated until in May they finally communicated that they had no idea when it could be fulfilled. I cancelled the order but had to call back two weeks later, asking where my refund was. It wasn't until I called and inquired that someone actually processed the refund. I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

    DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SHOPPING HERE. I consider myself a reasonable person, and believe I have been generous, kind, and nice to Goedeker's despite the absolute terror they have given us... our experience with Goedeker's has been absolute trash. We ordered a full suite of appliances in November of 2020, including a Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Range, Microwave, and Dishwasher. We were told that many of our appliances would be delivered by early January 2021. We are now halfway through June 2021, with NO APPLIANCES. We have called every week for months. Asking. Begging. Pleading for updates. We are always given the answer that the appliances are coming, and soon.

    We have tried to replace those appliances with others, but Goedeker's isn't really willing to help find ones that would be adequate replacements. We have been lied to repeatedly. I have called asking for any help to understand why we have been given so many false dates of when our appliances will arrive. My last call was to talk to a manager, and in typical Goedeker's fashion, like many of our calls, they have not called us back like they promised. If you like a company taking your money for months, without any concrete answers, with terrible customer service, and delays in providing your appliances for more than 8 months, then please, please shop at Goedeker's. For any other sane individual, go LITERALLY anywhere else.

    We have waited 4 months for our new GE CAFE RANGE: APRIL 8TH GOEDEKER'S delivered: We contacted GOEDEKER'S DAYS LATER (3 EMAILS AND 4 PHONE CALLS). We requested THE UNIT TO BE RETURNED AND or REPLACED as we have nothing but problems: (dangerous situation of 6 to 12 inch yellow tipped flames and toxic fumes. Toxic fumes and black soot after testing the oven's switches and Broiler issues. GOEDEKER'S customer service appears to be good old fashioned lip service. They hauled away our old GE oven,,,,NOW WHAT??? GOEDEKER'S' CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. GE technician advised us to return the unit for replacement as parts to repair were not available until June. I will write an update on our nightmare with this company.

    I ordered a complete set of appliances and were told by salesperson Eric all but refrigerator was in stock, I would have them within three weeks but due to manufacturer the latter would not be avail for 4 weeks then it would ship. Four weeks and nothing. Lied about arriving and blamed shipper. Shipper said it was not in their possession.. 1 month to get from St Louis area to NC. I still have nothing but a shipping order. Meanwhile I am out *$8000 with just order numbers. No help from salesman. He is AWOL. Terrible business. Fair price if you ever get order. BUYER BEWARE. LIES, LIES, LIES

    On Dec.31 of 2020 I ordered a chair from these thieves. They said it would be 60 days before it shipped. During those 60 days they changed the shipping time TWO times and kept insisting it would be many more months. Of course they used the old "Covid 19" excuse. After 90 days I cancelled and they promised a refund. 3 weeks later, no refund! I just filed a dispute with my Visa company. DO NOT order from Goedeker, THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!

    I purchased an appliance that was backordered. I was told I could cancel anytime before it ships out which was well over a month at the time of purchase. So, after growing tired of waiting, I went ahead and put in a request to cancel my order via e-mail. I was told it would take 2 weeks of business days to put a cancel in and receive my refund. They say in case it ships out then I would have to pay return shipping. Here's the thing, the refrigerator is not schedule to ship out for another month! Keep in mind, I put this request in over a week ago! Just release me back my money. Times are hard enough. You aren't going to be shipping the backordered refrigerator anytime soon, so this holding out is pointless. I am demanding my refund by today or else I will have to file a complaint. I have tried to call multiple times, but they won't answer. Weird how new customers immediately get the sales department, but people with purchase orders can't...

    They took my money for something that wasn't even in stock. They didn't notify me after I started asking for some kind of confirmation after more than a week after placing the order. (Other companies won't even let you order something if they don't have it. Bad business, obviously "throwing as much crap to the wall to see what sticks" business state of mind.) Not to mention "Janice" from customer service got slick with me when I complained. I understand we are in a pandemic, and things are running slower than usual. But don't advertise something you don't have, especially take money for it. (Oh, not to mention, I ordered other items the same day that had to be HANDMADE, that got to me BEFORE I found out that they sold me something they didn't have. Don't pay attention to good reviews. That's their own staff putting up fake reviews.

    I ordered a gas range over the phone and asked when I would receive the item because the receipt of the range was tied into an installation with the gas company. I was asked where the range was going to be shipped and told 2 weeks. I added in an additional week with the gas company just in case. It has been a month now, and I have nothing. The worst part is no one can tell me where my range is. I have called and called, each time being fed a different story. Believe me, the representatives really act like they care and are very apologetic, but are well trained to tell stories. They each promised to get back to me and none of them did.

    I finally called to cancel my order and was told that I would be charged a cancellation fee. I escalated to a manager who said she would research and get back to me with either an update with where my item was or would allow me to get a full refund. She would get back to me by phone by the end of the business day. It has been two days now, and I have heard nothing. So I contacted my credit card and disputed the charge and they took care of the charge for me. What a waste of my time! If you have a year to wait for your stuff then try them, but otherwise, do not waste your time.

    I suppose I could ditto previous bad reviews but we all need to vent, especially when contacting the company doesn't work. I ordered a Bosch dishwasher on 12/4/2020. At that point, I should have received an instant message that said they were not in stock! I had checked another business online that instantly told me they were out of stock but would notify me as soon as they were back in stock. I definitely should have ordered from there but I "assumed" since I didn't get that "out of stock" notification from Goedeker's, that it meant they had the dishwasher readily available. Guess what? I STILL have NOT received it as of March 8, 2021!!!

    As others reported, Goedeker's does NOT communicate anything about your order to you. You get an order confirmation and they charge your account the day you order. I have yet to receive a response or any communication from them about delivery. I tried to cancel in January but they told me it had been shipped and I couldn't cancel. Five phone calls later (and many hours of being on hold) they kept referring me to the shipping company. The shipping company refers me back to Goedeker's because they haven't received the dishwasher to deliver to me. I have also sent emails to them but not once have I received a response other than a request for a review for the dishwasher!

    Their website says they stay in constant communication with you but that's a BIG LIE. Even in my worst experience, I have never had this many problems for such a high priced item. Go to their website to read the stellar reviews! Those are the only ones they publish! Thank goodness I found Consumer Affairs to report a very honest review. Goedeker's needs to go out of business and I will do everything I can to help them. Please consider yourself warned! It will save you time and money and many headaches. (I wish I had seen these reviews first.)

    Goedeker’s immediately charged my credit card but could not tell my delivery. Immediately got email saying they would shortly let me know status and delivery. Never did they contact me. If you call you go on hold and after 20 minutes get a message for leaving a number for call back. They do call back but they have no information on delivery date. They have said they will call back in a week but no call back. Do not recommend them. Still waiting delivery date.

    We ordered a very pricey hood fan online. Five weeks passed with no communication. We emailed them and was told a tracking number would be forthcoming in a couple days. A week later, still no word. Emailed them twice asking about tracking number...no response. At least I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company successfully.

    Ordered and paid for ($700.00+) a ventilation system for the stove on 12/30/2020 and was told 2-3 weeks. After 33 days, with NO communication from them, I ask what the status is and their response was, and I quote: "I checked into your order and see a shipment of the item you selected is expected to arrive on 02/10/2021. However, the manufacturer is not sure if your particular order will be included in this shipment." If you're ok with that kind of customer service then by all means, buy from them. This is the 21st century!

    I placed an order in November to which delivery was delayed. I called and cancelled the order, which was confirmed by their customer service reps. After 10 days and I still hadn't received a refund I sent an email to find out why, they said now that I couldn't cancel because the item had shipped. Um you can't do that. Tell someone their item is cancelled then 10 days later say oops we shipped it? So after much back and forth with a credit card dispute and trying get a Supervisor involved, I finally get one who agrees that I should get a full refund. Well, that was on January 7th, almost one full month after I cancelled and I still don't have a refund today. I am AGAIN going to have to go and re-open a dispute with my credit card company because they still haven't refunded me my money for an item I DO NOT HAVE. Better to just stay away.

    I signed up for this site just to write this review as I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake I did. I can't stress enough how much you should stay away from this company. I placed an order for a coffee table on 11/28/20. I knew it would take a while with shipping delays around this time, especially this year. I hadn't heard anything about the order shipping so I reached out on 12/22/20 for an update. I was told the table was out of stock until 3/23/21. This would not work for me so I asked to cancel my order. The request was put in by their customer services/sales associate.

    I then purchased a table from a reputable store that actually had the thing in stock. Sure enough 12/31/20 I get the table delivered from my Goedekers order. When I called them I was told it had actually shipped already when I requested to cancel so the cancelation didn't go through. I would now have to pay return shipping. I am beyond angry and confused at how they feel this is an acceptable way to run a business. They are a scam and should be treated as such.

    I ordered a Universal 15" Black Built-In Fully Integrated Trash Compactor back in late OCTOBER. GOEDEKER'S ACKNOWLEDGED AND CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD IN OCTOBER. Due to Covid, indicated they may need 4 weeks to deliver. I was hoping to receive in time for Thanksgiving (no word Goedeker's).. As Christmas approached, I had to call several times - over a 91 minute wait to speak to customer service. - I was told that it should be in their warehouse this week - but will miss Christmas, but that I would receive by New Year eve! Only to receive an email yesterday - that this item is now back-ordered and I will not receive in time for easter! If I am patient, I might receive in time for Memorial Day! I am cancelling my order!!

    I ordered a refrigerator from them and was told that it would ship in two months due to a shortage. It never shipped and they never notified me. Repeated calls and emails have gone unanswered. The last two phone calls I was on hold for 145 minutes and 73 minutes. They deserve ZERO STARS. My advice is to avoid them at all costs.

    I ordered a curio cabinet. The paperwork clearly states inside delivery, however the driver insisted he only needed to drop it in my driveway. I called the customer service number and they said "that's crazy, we will take care of it." After four more calls where we were told someone would get back to us we challenged the charge. Goedeker's insisted we have to pay a delivery fee for not accepting the item. First: it was never delivered. Second: paperwork says Inside delivery. Third: According to their website even standard delivery is to the front door, not 75-100 feet away. I did not hire the delivery company who refuses to deliver. I have paperwork so it is ludicrous for them to expect me to pay anything. Before spending a dime with them make sure you check out the ratings. Below is the delivery info copied directly from their website.

    "Note: There are no hidden fees, and you won't have to lift your own items off of the truck. Please Note: For some customers outside of the shipping company's zone, additional charges may be required. Inside Delivery: Let the professionals bring your items inside for you.     Relationship: Client, Project Date: November 2020. AVOID GOEDEKER’S LIKE THE PLAGUE! THEY LIE AND DON’T CARE! I ordered a Bosch dishwasher on August 2nd and was told it was in stock and would be delivered within two weeks. Two weeks passed and I never got a shipment notice so I tried to contact the store. The customer service wait was 45 minutes and I set my phone down to wait. After an hour I hung up. I tried this three times at various times over a few days and pups never get through. So I emailed the company and was told that the dishwasher will be delivered within two weeks. As I know things are delayed because of COVID, I waited.

    In late September I get an email from a trucking company to arrange delivery of my dishwasher - only they had my name and street address but in another city and state. So I emailed Goedeker's and was told my dishwasher hadn’t shipped and again, it would arrive within two weeks. I then get an email from Goedeker's in mid October saying that my dishwasher has shipped and will be delivered within two weeks but again it never arrived so I canceled my order but they said it couldn’t be canceled as it has shipped. I then contacted AmEx, who gave me my money back and I ordered the same Bosch dishwasher elsewhere and they had it delivered and installed in five days.

    The worst. Worse than Appliance Connection which Goedeker's purchase. Kept calling and e-mailing them about "where is my dishwasher?", for 2 months, they kept lying and saying it came directly from Bosch. Yet, after weeks of trying to get tracking info I finally found out dishwasher was still in their warehouse. Then tried and tried to get my money back, no luck. Finally PayPal got it back in less than 24 hours. Shop local, unless you live in St. Louis.

    I ordered two dishwashers for two different locations within days of each other. The lack of communication w/regard to delivery status is terrible. Its basically nothing, and then you get an email saying the appliance is coming tomorrow. The installers did not bring the install kit, which I paid for (they tried to say I didn't, but I had the receipt), so they could not complete the install. They took the old dishwasher and left the new dishwasher at my house but not installed. They promised to come back the following business day to install. They did not....they still have not....no scheduled install has happened yet. When you try to call Goedeker's to speak to their customer service about the issue, the actual hold time is 30-40 minutes, regardless of what the recorded voice says....This has happened to me 3 times.

    On my second dishwasher, the website finally updated to say that the dishwasher had arrived and they were scheduling install. However since I hadn't heard anything I called, waited 38 minutes to speak to a customer service rep, to be told that the actual arrival date would not be till the end of February 2021. I had ordered this dishwasher the first of October and was told it would be 5 weeks to deliver. Their website had said it was in, but it was obviously incorrect information. I am now trying to get my order cancelled - still pending. My strong recommendation is to not order anything from Goedeker's. It's not worth the headache, the hassle and the lack of communication. Go somewhere else.

    I ordered a Bosch dishwasher on October 7, 2020. The listing and purchase process revealed no caveats to the order such as 'back ordered'; however, a 'due to Covid...' notice was posted on the site suggesting delivery will be impeded and slower than normal. I was informed the item was ready to ship as of October 12. I did get the installation kit (which was required to purchase when ordering) on October 29. No dishwasher. I was able to get someone on Chat, Janice **, who informed me that my order was now on Back Order and not expected to ship until January of 2021. Remember, I was never told in the first place that it was not in stock. I have never been contacted by Goedeker's by email in any fashion. All my updates on this order I had to seek out through their website.

    I informed Janice, who apologized a number of time for the company, I was very upset. She suggested that one of their sales reps get in touch with me to see if another item would work instead of the one I ordered. I told her I ordered this because it was exactly what I was looking for but would talk with one of their guys if the instead option would be a Bosch similar to the one I originally ordered. Very poor customer service in the communications department. Had I not contacted them I would be waiting till next year for my order.

    We purchased a wall oven from Goedeker's, along with a cooktop, downdraft vent hood, as well as three other appliances from them in the past. This time however the process has gone so badly we will never buy from them again and will encourage anyone thinking of doing so not to. Part of buying from Goedecker is to inspect your purchases within 48 hours of receiving them. We have done this in the past and did it this time, very thoroughly, aside from lifting them up in the air. The wall oven weighs in over 200 pounds so that's not practical. The appliances came early, so our remodeled kitchen was not ready for them. Consequently they hung out in garage waiting to be installed.

    When installation day came the wall oven went right in, until the bottom trim needed to be installed. Due to damage to the bottom of the oven, the bottom trim piece will no longer fit. The bottom of the oven is substantial, so this damage could not have happened in our garage over the past couple of weeks. I called Goedecker and emailed them. I was basically told because I didn't find the damage on the bottom within the 48 hours window I was out of luck and they provide no customer service at all. Our recommendation after having a $3,000 oven that looks incomplete sitting in our new kitchen, is to buy local, spend the extra and rest assured if you have a problem a local company will provide customer service after the fact and not just blow you off. Don't be fooled by the lower prices, it's not worth it!!!

    We ordered a $174 Verona Shelf Glide on March 23rd. They said it shipped on 4/24, but it wasn’t in the shipment. We called and they said they would check on it and get back to us. In May we called and they said the same. Then the customer Service line began having 30 minute wait times, so we switched to email. On 6/8, 7/14, 8/5, 9/27 & 10/5 different people responded that “they would check on it and get back to us”, but never did. On 10/23 we asked for a refund, but have had no response. Sent another email today. Also filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB. Not sure what these folks are up to, but it’s not right to steal from us.

    I ordered a couch on 8/17/2020. I was not notified of backorder or any thing. I checked and it was on backorder until 10/30. I called on 10/30 and they said it would not even be shipped to them until 12/28 of 2020. Then they would have to ship to me next year. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I asked about a refund and they said if they would even give me a refund it would be considerably less than what I paid them. I wish I had researched them before purchasing!

However, we received incorrect information as to whether it was in stock, and we even received an incorrect shipping number that told us our package was delivered over a month ago.     Please proceed cautiously before purchasing any appliance from Goedeker's in Ballwin, Missouri. Our family purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator on November 5, 2018, including a five year warranty with Parts Charlotte. In the first 18 months of ownership, we have had numerous malfunctions, and neither Goedeker's nor Parts Charlotte will respond to service calls. We are currently without a refrigerator with no clear path to a solution.

    Never, never, never do business with this company. Ordered 3 appliances in April and was told they would be on the way on 6 different occasions. Never received anything. Requested to cancel on July 13 and was told it would be canceled and I would receive a refund. 7 weeks later, still no refund. I am now having to dispute with the credit card and am reporting them to the BBB. STAY SO FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! In all of my 45 years, I have never had an issue with any company like this ever before. Did I mention that you should STAY SO FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Tell all your friends!!!!

    THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! They do nothing but LIE about your order! My item was supposed to be delivered on 8/30 and I’ve been speaking with them for weeks about it and they have continued to say 8/30 and never gave an indication they may have to move the delivery date. Today I contacted them to ask why I haven’t been contacted to set up delivery time and they then tell me the item is backordered until 9/22. It’s 3 days before the supposed delivery date and they didn’t even bother to tell me the item wouldn’t be coming on time!!! I get things are backordered because of the shut downs, but to straight up lie to everyone is terrible!!! I have everything set up for this item to be delivered in three days and now they decide to tell me the item won’t be here. BE HONEST with your customers and maybe then you will have credibility. They do not care about your satisfaction!!! Do not buy from this terrible company!!!!

    I am so mad at myself that I did not research this company more carefully before buying from them! False advertising! Disgrace to the retail business! DON’T BUY FROM GOEDEKER'S!!! I bought three dressers from them during a “sale” and received “free shipping”. I paid $904. I did get their instructions about a “carrier” would deliver my product. The carrier would call ahead and arrange the delivery with me. I was to unbox and check the items before the carrier left to make sure no damage. And if there was damage to refuse the items.

    No carrier called or delivered. It was FEDEX. They dropped them off at end of my driveway with no notice. When I opened them they were ALL damaged. Cracked and broken. ALL 3 OF THEM!!! I called them (WAITED 58 MINUTES ON PHONE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE) and the nice lady took all my info. Put me on hold to check and see if I was still in the “window for returning” - came back said I was - told me to take pictures of all three dressers and damage. She gave me instructions who to email and send the pictures to - and then said they would direct me what to do.

    HA HA! Now 5 phone calls later (WAITING FOR OVER 40 MIN EACH) They are telling me I did not call them within 48 hours so basically I am out of luck. I CAN PAY $200 MYSELF TO SEND THEM BACK TO GOEDEKER’S. THEN THEY WILL ALSO DEDUCT ANOTHER $200 FROM MY REFUND for the shipping original shipping they paid when they sent them to me!!! (I paid $904 for 3 dressers). And I am not even sure they will refund me when returned as I read these previous complaints. They are FRAUDS!

    So basically at the end of the day I WILL HAVE PAID GOEDEKER’S $400 FOR NOTHING!!! I will have no merchandise for my experience with them! Just $400 lost because I shopped online during COVID!!! SHAME ON THEM and SHAME ON ME for ordering from them. I am going to be out $400 for trying to buy something from them! And I will have no item. THIS IS MIND BLOWING TO ME!!! I was in retail for 20 years - I taught customer service to my employees - 2 rules: #1 the customer is always right! #2 if the customer is not right - refer to rule #1!

    Being in retail I know all about manufacturer relationships and shipper relationships. I should NEVER have even been told anything except - "Oh my gosh how terrible - we will take the dressers back no problem!" And they should be dealing with the shipper and manufacturer themselves to get their refund on these damaged dressers. They should be telling the manufacturer they will not buy from them anymore! They should be telling the shipper they will not use them anymore! They should be trying to keep me as a customer and keep me happy and satisfied. How can they sleep at night knowing they are ripping people off. How can anyone think this is right and fair?? And from the reviews and complaints I am not the only one!

    I am now going to go out of my way and waste precious lifetime to make it my life’s mission to give them every bad review possible in order to try and help someone else not make my mistake. I wish I had looked at all of these previous bad reviews before I bought from them!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ARE IN BUSINESS!!!! I have never written a bad review about anyone in all my years!

    They told my husband on the phone at one point that they are SO BUSY AS THEY HAVE SO MUCH DAMAGED MERCHANDISE THEY CAN’T KEEP UP WITH GETTING BACK TO PEOPLE!!! And that these people you talk to when you finally get through to customer service in the damage department is a 3rd party!!! They said their hands are tied and have no authority to refund or waive any fees etc.!! We have been trying to get through to the managers and higher up people and we get told they are too busy and we are on the “list” to call back! DON’T BUY FROM GOEDEKER’S!!!

    Purchased appliances for new home 90 days in advance. Was told appliances were at “data center” multiple times only to eventually find out they are back ordered. They will NOT return my phone calls, they still have 100% of my cash AND I am getting nowhere with any of my inquiries. I truly wish I had done more research before trusting this company as I have seen others report the same. I am sure they will hide behind CoVid but that has nothing to do with telling the customer the truth! Also they took my order during CoVid with a guarantee they would deliver the appliances!     I would review the dishwasher we purchased on june 18th but can't yet since I still have not received it. I understand about the pandemic and mistakenly gave them several weeks before I started asking questions. By the middle of July I wanted an update and spent several hours on the phone trying to get an answer, I was told Bosch was running behind and it would be available soon. I called and emailed back a week latter to be told the new date was July 29th. After emailing and calling again I get an apology stating again should be the 29th but they would help me choose a different product since it was taking so long.

    Fast forward to beginning of Aug when the date is now the 12th. I finally get someone on the phone who tells me according to Bosch it was actually shipped on the 12th of July and the Shipping company has been sitting on it. I get a link to their site and they have a label created the 3rd of July saying awaiting shipping. I suspect that is when Goedeker's let them know I had bought the dishwasher almost 3 weeks after I purchased and was charged. It is now the 16th of august with minimal communication and still no dishwasher. On Friday I try to cancel the order to be told no the trucking company has found it and it will be delivered this week. Meanwhile their website lists my order as backordered and the trucking company refuses to return a call or tell me when the delivery is scheduled for.

    I placed my Goedeker appliance order May 21, 2020. After several delays, I received my order on 6/25/2020. I received a phone call from shipping the afternoon before my order was to arrive for drop off the next day. Order was delivered in good condition however the stop top draft we ordered was the wrong size. On July 2nd I began my long journey of trying to return this item. After 8 phone calls that had wait times anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours And 3 weeks I received a return address.

    I returned it that day 7/23/2020. I never heard anything. The item was delivered and received on 7/29/2020. I began my calling again and after 3 phone calls received an anonymous email from them letting me know on 8/7/2020 that the item was received in original packaging with no damage. It is now 8/17/2020 and I have not received a refund. Currently on the phone with them at an hour and 15 minutes with no resolution and just promises to get back to me. This is $1769. Not a small order for a median income family. SHAME ON GOEDEKER'S.

    My complaint is for two rocking chairs I ordered form Goedeker’s on 12 June 2020, my complaint about an order is today is 14 August 2020 and I have not received these items. After about a month I contacted the customer service department in reference to why my order is taking so long. I'm was told that she would send a message to inquire about it. I never received a reply. Later I followed up with an email. I ask that the order be canceled if there is no penalty. I never received a reply to my question. I placed another call to customer service at that time. I was told that it had been canceled and I could expect my refund in about ten days. In about two weeks I contacted them again. At that time I was informed that my cancellation request was denied and to refuse the shipment when it was delivered by FedEx. I never received a tracking number for the shipment actually the only update I received was when they acknowledged my order.

    Today I received a message informing me that the order was delivered 7/2/202, and I was to file a police report that it was stolen and provide them with a copy. I still have not been provided a tracking number to file the report. FedEx is also requiring a tracking number to help. We have a doorbell camera that shows not actively doing that time plus we have been home since March because of the pandemic.

    Ordered a Refrigerator, Whirlpool WRF535SMHW, on June 23, 2020. Shipping date was slated for August 10, 2020. There has been no communication with this company unless it was initiated on my part. Email was sent by me on the 10th to inquire about shipping and got an email back stating it was to be shipped on 9-18-20 and if I would rather look about another model or cancelation to let them know. I sent an email back immediately to check on another model, but no communication was made. Again, I called and was placed on hold, listening to the worse Sax soloists I have ever heard. The waits are LONG! Once a customer service rep answers they are little to no help. I asked about a replacement and she said she would have to get a salesperson to call and see if that was available - still waiting!

    I called back and canceled the order and I was told after my card was already charged without the product in their warehouse or being shipped, that it would have to be approved by Whirlpool to make sure the order was not being shipped??? AND then another 7-10 days to refund my card. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would be calling - STILL Waiting! This is totally unsatisfactory. Almost 6 months into a Pandemic, if this company has not figured out the strain on a supply chain, they should not offer to sell it or plaster their website or my inbox with sales and offers that they are the best around! Shame on them! BUYER BEWARE.

    I have had a horrible experience in getting any followup on the merchandise I purchased on 7/11/2020. I was told it ship out on 7/14/2020 which was not true at all, finally I found out it had not even been shipped out of China. Have made many calls and extremely long wait times (which upon one call in said it would be 685 minutes). Wait times are always at least 30 minutes. I have spent about 3 hours total time waiting to have someone pick up after 7 calls in. No record of me calling at all. Finally I have cancelled my order and asked for a refund. They tell me once it's "approved" it could be 7-10 days. Funny they took my money the day I ordered it but I have to wait to get my money back. I am not happy with this company at all.

    I ordered two Ketcham Medicine cabinets (one Left Hand and one Right Hand) on July 23rd 2020 for a client. I selected them, in part, based off the lead times posted on the website, which stated that they were expected to leave their warehouse between July 27th -July 30th. I never received any word from Goedeker's notifying me that they shipped and when I realized this during the first week of August, I called them. After an hour long wait on hold, I spoke with Sunny and was told she could email the manufacturer and it could take 2-3 days to hear back. I insisted that I can't wait 2-3 days, that she call as well, and asked to be updated by end of day on the status so I could determine if I needed to cancel the order and find another product. Sunny agreed, and then I never heard from her again. I emailed the next day and received nothing but a generic response that they are "looking into it."

    The day after that (Friday) I called again and this time spoke with Bailey. I was told that Sunny was not in, but she could see that Sunny had emailed the manufacturer and that they never responded. She admitted to me that they do not stock material in their warehouse, and the availability posted is based off of the manufacturer's listed availability to ship to their warehouse. She offered to give me the manufacturer's phone number if I wanted to call myself. I called them and left a voice message that Friday afternoon.

    When Monday rolled around and there is still no word from Goedeker's, I finally had to give up and buy another pair of medicine cabinets elsewhere after wasting a good chunk of time over four (business) days just trying to get an ETA. Just before noon Monday, the manufacturer called me and after looking into my situation, was unable to find any trace of my order from Goedeker's - they had never even placed my order with them. She offered to place an order for me direct right then and there over the phone, but they were out of stock on one of the cabinets and I had already placed a new order. However, her help and professionalism was appreciated.

    I understand that we are in a pandemic, and I place a ton of client orders with many online companies experiencing delays. The difference is I expect to be notified when there is an issue and receive helpful information on revised ETA's etc - not abandoned to reach out over and over again on my own initiative to only be told *I don't know anything.* I've had consistently good results with Build.com, Wayfair, William Sonoma family of stores, Crate and Barrel, etc. Buy from anyone other than Goedeker's - seriously.

    Horrible company to work with. They quote you a low price, take your order, charge your credit card and then go dark. I ordered a $1300 grill from them a month ago. The order says that the product is back ordered by the manufacturer. But a call to the manufacturer confirmed that the product is not back ordered, is in stock and can ship immediately. I've been trying to connect with them for the past 4 weeks. They don't answer email. If you call their customer service, you will wait hours and never get a live person. This company is a fraud. The BBB has many complaints. For each complaint they say the same thing. "COVID 19 causes delays". This is utter BS. If these people cannot operate, they should not take orders and should certainly not take money until they can deliver. I have reported this company to the Missouri Attorney General for fraud and theft of funds. Stay away. They will waste your time and will take your money without delivery.

    Updated on 7/20/2020: Weeks turned into over a month with repeated attempts at communicating with Goedeker's, often several times a day!!! NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!! I started to panic, thinking I was being robbed and looked into their track record with Consumer Affairs and the BBB. Most were pretty lousy like I was experiencing. I wish I had read the reviews before committing to buying. I filed a claim against them with my bank to get my money back. After 5 weeks, much to my surprise, Goedeker's sent an email stating I was going to receive my washer in 3 to 7 days. On July 16th, 2020, it finally arrived!!!! After connecting it and testing it, I did receive a brand new machine that works great. I canceled the claim with my bank. The day after, I received another email from Goedeker's stating I was going to receive my washing machine!!??

    Ultimately, they DID delivery, and I saved, but it was only $20 over buying one locally on their 4th of July sales (Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowe's) and I would have gone home that day with it. Goedeker's complete lack of customer support and service makes for one highly disappointing and lousy customer experience!!!! Covid-19 is no excuse to be completely ignored for over a month by Goedeker's. Then, to receive a notice from them my washer was going to be delivered the DAY AFTER I received it is completely ridiculous!!!! Save yourself the headaches, DON'T BUY FROM GOEDEKER'S, BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING!!!!

    Original review: They offered a great price and free shipping, found the deal irresistible. Payment went through June 10, 2020 in about 20 minutes. I received one confirmation email, had a question that was answered via email within 2 days. Checking my order status, they claim it's on manufacturer backorder. I've tried repeatedly, both via phone, responding to the 2nd email and attempting using their online system to get a response. I've now tried repeatedly for weeks!!!! No response at all!! I did call Whirlpool and they said it might be delivered by the end of July, but they couldn't verify it. They said contact Goedeker's. Tried again via email this morning.

    I have a feeling this company is in trouble and can't keep their promises. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere to buy what you're looking for. I'm hoping not to put another review here stating they're a rip-off. Not replying is very poor business, especially after almost 4 weeks of repeated trying. This has become highly alarming and frustrating.

    I ordered a dishwasher online and needed to cancel. Now I can't get anyone to respond over the phone or in email. You call the number and it says to press 1 to leave a voice mail but that option doesn't even work. How is it that a company will take your money but won't call you back or respond to an email when there's a problem? This is just horrible customer service.

    These people should literally be locked up. They are taking money from people and never sending them their orders. They are also not responding to anyone attempts at contacting them for refunds. Read their BBB reviews. They should be shut down! I personally spent $525 on an outdoor tiki bar and what I received was 4 cheap stools. Multiple attempts to contact them through email, phone, Facebook (basically all of their social media accounts) and no response. So I guess I'm just out $525? This is happening to a ton of people and I wish I would have looked into them before placing my order. Lesson learned. I hope this prevents someone from making the same costly mistake that I did. **

    My first time to order on this site. First of all, they will charge your credit card with the full amount even though they have no stock at all. Very frustrating as when you try calling them, no way you will be able to reach any of their customer service representative!!! I feel frustrated ordering on this website.     I order a microwave. After waiting a week for shipping notification I tried to find out what was going on. I sent a email to sales@goedekers.com (the return address from the order confirmation). I did not receive a response. After a couple of days I tried their customer service line which starts off with a message saying to send an email to customerservice@goedekers.com and they will respond withing 48 hours. So I did; no response. So I called again and waited on hold for HOURS. Eventually getting through. The service rep was polite and tried to help. He send me my shipping information and said he would get it out. Well nothing was shipped. So the next day I called again and waited on hold for 3 1/2 hours, different polite service rep who looked up my previous call. She claims my microwave will ship Monday. I suspect I will be on hold for hours Tuesday. Worst company ever.

    We purchased a living room furniture set on 6/2/20 for over $3000. Since that day of purchase we heard nothing about the delivery. On 6/15/20 we called for a refund and they suddenly said the product has shipped to a delivery company called AM Trucking. This delivery company denied ever receiving the order, Goedeker's never gave them any product to deliver to us. It is now 6/26/20 and still no information. Our family has no chairs to sit on. We asked for a refund and they are trying to deduct exorbitant fees from us. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE, THEY ALSO HAVE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE REVIEWS ONLINE.

    Unfortunately, this company doesn't understand what customer service is. After I placed my order, I received an email confirming the order. This was the only communication that was given. I called three times seeking an update to my order. Every time I had to wait on the phone 1-2 hours. Finally the delivery driver rang and told me my package was being delivered.     We have purchased appliances from Goedeker's in the past. Great prices and service but that was then. Now is totally different. We tried to purchase a refrigerator and Washer Dryer in April. After several weeks they informed us we could not get the refrigerator we wanted so we purchase a lesser cost LG. They promised to credit the price difference back to our credit card in APRIL. Luckily we got the refrigerator and washer dryer but no credit back to the credit card.

    I have called dozens of times. Never an answer. If you leave a message to have them call you back. They never call back. If you send an email they promise you in 48 hours to get a response. They never respond. I call almost everyday and it is the same thing. No response. What kind of business operation does this. One that is likely out of business and new customers may never see their appliances. WARNING TO ALL!! YOU ARE WARNED AND IF GOEDEKER'S ever refunds my money I will advise. Do not hold your breath.

    I purchased a Catnapper recliner from Goedekers on 11/2/2017. The arm rest frame on the left side has begun to pull apart which has made the cushion inside sag leaving nothing but the wooden frame to rest my arm on. Item three of the manufacturers warranty states the frame has a limited lifetime warranty under normal use. I filed a claim on May 30th, 2020 and was told they would be back in touch within a few days. Guess what, I haven't heard squat from them! BEWARE OF GOEDEKERS AND CATNAPPER, both give "Made in USA" a bad name.

    I just made my second purchases of a Bosch Benchmark double wall oven at the very end of March. The first purchase was of a Samsung stove that was about 30% less than the closest price that included shipping and no tax back in 2015. It came in perfect shape no problems. It did take a while to get, 30 days approximately. Which I knew from people’s reviews and was fine with. So back to the Bosch double wall ovens, it took 6 weeks to be delivered due to being back ordered during this Covid-19 pandemic.

    There could have been more communication from Goedekers but I called and was able to get updates. The ovens arrived in perfect shape and the delivery company did a good job of being careful taking the old ones out and installing the new ones. I prepped the old ovens (pulled the breakers and disconnected the electrical connection before they arrived). The price was the same as other stores for these Ovens, but there was free installation and free shipping. So it was a substantial savings. I have had a good experience with this company both times I have used them over the past 6 years.

    I ordered a refrigerator and the company immediately charged my credit card over $2600. I received a welcome email, along with an email confirming my purchase. A week later I had heard nothing, so I called them and waited over 30 minutes on the phone to inquire about my previous order. I then called back, and when I clicked on “new order” option, I spoke with someone within 5 or 6 minutes. They informed me that my refrigerator was on back order and they had no idea when it would be in stock. WHO DOES THAT!!?? What a joke.

    I ordered a Whirlpool black fingerprint resistant side-by-side refrigerator directly from a salesman at Goedeker's beginning of February. It finally arrived April 1st. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency purchase, As it is being unpacked, I see it is grey, not the black SS I ordered. I called the store and was told to reject the delivery and that a manager would call me later.

    I did hear from the "customer (no)service" manager (David **) and he said he would listen to the telephone tape of my call the next day. Instead he sent me an email saying he spoke with the salesman and I would need to pay $322 for restocking. I replied asking him why he did not do what he said he would, i.e. listen to the tape. No response. I was clear in what I wanted, black being the most import point as all the appliances in my kitchen are black. Salesman erred for whatever reason. Not owning up to his mistake is abhorrent. Problem has been turned over to my credit card company. COST SAVING NOT WORTH THE PROBLEMS DEALING WITH GOEDEKER'S!!

    I am a house flipper in Atlanta. We go in and completely redo them, kitchen and bathrooms gutted. The only place I go for appliances and faucets is Goedeker's. Their prices are the best, their customer service is excellent and the ease of buying with the free shipping is what we need.     BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a refrigerator from Goedeker's for my son for his new house. I paid extra for professional installation, "white glove" delivery service and a 5-year warranty. I didn't want my son to have to do anything except enjoy his new refrigerator. Unfortunately, however, that is not what has happened.

    It has been 6 weeks since I ordered the refrigerator. It took 3 weeks to be delivered only to be delivered damaged with a big dent on the door. The delivery company (1) did not install the refrigerator water line; (2) failed to install the anti-tip bracket/stabilizers so fridge rolls and tips when doors are opened; (3) did not properly install door/drawer handles so handles fall off when trying to open fridge/freezer; and (4) damaged my son's home while bringing the appliance into his home.

    I immediately called and emailed Goedeker's to advise them of the damaged refrigerator and failed installation. I requested that they remedy the damaged door and immediately send out a professional installer to stabilize the refrigerator and properly install the handles and water line. Goedeker's response was to send out a new door that was dropped off at my son's doorstep by UPS, and then have the same incapable shipping company come out to install the new door and stabilize the refrigerator.

    Well, guess what, the shipping company finally arrived at my son's house today (it's been 10 days since initial delivery), but they were not able to install the new refrigerator door because the replacement "door" that Goedeker's sent did not include the water line or ice maker and the shipping company doesn't "do that kind of stuff." I have asked Goedeker's to send out an authorized GE appliance repair/installation company to my son's house to properly (and without voiding the warranty) install the refrigerator door. This has yet to happen. I have given Goedeker's every opportunity to remedy this disaster and they have yet to do so. If things are this bad from the start, I hate to find out what it will be like when and if I have a warranty issue. Customer service has been anything but helpful or professional. Frustrated and disappointed is putting it lightly. I am furious!

    I remember how excited I was when I found the exact same refrigerator that my son had wanted at Goedeker's for $1700, which was selling for $2300 at Home Depot and Best Buy. Now, I wish I had paid more money and bought from Home Depot or Best Buy. I didn't order a scratch and dent special, but that's was I got from Goedeker's. Never Again!

    I ordered Bosch appliances on Feb 19th. I did not hear anything so on the 26th of Feb I called customer service. I was told that the Bosch appliances come from NY or NJ and they have a 10 day window, told to call back the next week. I called back on March 2nd, I was told the microwave was on backorder till July so they won't send anything till the microwave comes in. I can't wait till July for a refrigerator and stove. I had to cancel the microwave so the rest of the order would start moving.

    I was told two of the appliances were in transit somewhere, they would not guarantee a date on when they would get to the house. The stove wasn't available yet. I decided to cancel the order because now I was getting the run around from customer service. They are charging me over $600.00 to have the two appliances that are in transit sent back to them. The appliances come from NY or NJ, why would they be sent back to them. Now I have to pay for something I never even received. I filed with the BBB, there are many complaints about this company.

    Purchased a Bertazzoni 48" dual fuel stove with a Bertazzoni hood that was a free hood on rebate. Before making my purchase I Called this company to be sure that the hood I was ordering could be built into a custom enclosure. I spoke to a sales rep and she looked up the hood and told me it could. We unbox the hood and it's not a built in. We call and were told by a representative that they would pull the call and review. She calls me back and states, "You can sell the hood and we will have sales call you and have a new hood ordered for you for no cost." Sales calls me and tells me I have to pay for the new hood (even though it's suppose to be free). Agent emails me, "Sorry I made a mistake." Speak to two managers no one beyond that.

    Manager David states, "We can pay 800.00 for right hood." We ask him what's the price difference from what we have and actually need. It is $100.00 more so we offer to pay the additional $100.00, but he refuses stating again we have to pay $800!!!! He told me I didn't ask the question correctly about it being built in. How else do you ask if a hood could be custom built in? Well he says "technically you can build in the one they said could but not all the way as you have to leave the buttons exposed so the hood cannot be fully built in. He refuses to take back a brand new hood never installed because it would cost him too much money.

    So even though I called and ask the right questions, the call is recorded, one rep stated I would be getting another hood no charge then emails me she made a mistake and now he is expecting us to pay $800 for a hood that should have been free and is only 100.00 more than what we have. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Awful Awful customer service and their rep (who no longer is there) made the mistake not me!! I wish I had read these reviews before I decided to go with them. Disputing over $7,000 with my credit card company with them because now they are going to take the stove back too! I will take my business elsewhere.

    How do I begin this nightmare? We moved into a new home and "thought" Goedeker's would be promising just based on their "website." Don't let looks deceive you! We purchased $18500 worth of appliances on January 10th. Well, 33 days later we have been told so many false stories - and maybe half truths. We were told items had shipped to find out they had shipped to another warehouse. We have continually been told of delays and after being charged all the amount have yet to receive an item!!!

    You cannot get in contact with anyone that can do anything for you. Every time we call we hear a different story. We have finally contacted our American Express to put a stop to this nightmare. In 30 years of having this credit card we have not had a dispute and have been responsible and honorable cardholders. They have reversed the charges and see the unprofessional, sub-par, incompetent and unsatisfactory service of this company. Upon our dissatisfaction we looked deeper into the reviews and see so many similar complaints just like our situation! I don't know how they stay in business - but be aware of their history.

    Narrowed our search for a new wall oven to the GE Cafe. Since Goedeker's offered free installation, a good price point and being previous customers, we purchased our wall oven from them. During the sales transaction, the sales person informed us there would be a fee for disposal of our old oven and a survey fee to determine if our cabinetry needed modifications i.e. cutting etc. We questioned the survey fee as the website had promised free installation with a wall oven purchase but ended up paying it.

    The installer called to make an appointment and complained about Goedeker's overbooking him. He agreed to arrive at 7 am on a Friday. After the survey by the installer, the sales person called and informed us that the oven would require a premium install costing us an additional monies. We complained but felt we needed to moved forward.

    The oven arrived and installation was scheduled. The installer arrived and my husband helped him bring in the oven. Three pieces of trim installed with brads were removed by the installer's fingers. He completed the installation in 15 minutes. My husband then questioned him why this was considered a premium install. He told us to take it up with Goedeker's.

    Goedeker's was called immediately. They told us they based the premium charge on the installer's recommendation. My husband informed them there was no cutting, no sawing, no cabinet modifications except for three pieces of trim removed. Goedeker's offered us a partial refund. Since we felt we were entitled to a full refund, this went back and forth for a week. On the Saturday following the installation during another conversation, Goedeker's mentioned something about the electrical supply. My husband went in and checked the electrical supply / junction box and found it was hooked up improperly and could be a life safety issue. Instead of stabilizing the electrical supply cord to the box with brackets the installer had applied electrical tape.

    Pictures of the install were immediately sent by email to Goedeker's. They immediately refunded us 3/4 of our money and the installer offered to come out on Sunday and fix it. My husband told him no; he would finished the installation himself properly. We did file a complaint with the Better Business of Missouri as we were totally dissatisfied with the customer service we received.

    Before ordering new kitchen appliances, I contacted Goedeckers and I was informed that lead time would be 2-3 weeks. For two months the date repeatedly moved out. Then I received an email that all my appliances were at their warehouse. I called a few days later when I didn’t receive a shipping confirmation and was told they were waiting on the microwave. More promises on when this would be received and two more times they missed their promised dates.

    Finally I cancelled the microwave and went to Lowes and was able to pick it up the same day. When I canceled the microwave on a Friday, I was told the remainder of my order would ship on Monday. A week later it still hasn’t shipped. Their website says my order is awaiting pickup by their carriers. Every time I call, they blame someone else; the appliance manufacturer or the shipping company. In a couple of days we will be at three months. With continued false promises and no ownership of the problems, I do not recommend this company.

    Bottom line: I am very happy with the GE Monogram fridge itself. When the delivery company (FPA Deliveries) FINALLY delivered the fridge, they did a very good job. The PROBLEM was with how long it took and what a hassle it was to actually make the delivery happen. The delivery company arrived for the first time on 12/17/2019. They sent TWO men to deliver and install a 700 lb fridge. The foreman unloaded the new fridge in the driveway while I stood next to him, then asked where he could "roll it in." I told him the easiest route was the seven stone/brick front steps -- which I had previously reported to the company. He seemed surprised and said he couldn't make the delivery. He would need two crews. He took photos of the steps on his iPhone.

    After a number of calls from me, I got a message saying the new delivery date would be Monday, 12/20/19. I immediately called them back saying "no can do" because I would be under general anesthetic having surgery on my heart that day, with my wife by my side. The next delivery date was set by the company for 12/26/2019. THREE guys showed up with a hand truck at 11:44 am on that day, looked at the steps and said they couldn't deliver the fridge. My wife was so frustrated she wanted to cancel the purchase.

    When I called Goedeker's for assistance with the delivery problem, I was told they couldn't help and that if we chose to cancel the order there would be a charge of $896.36 as a return fee. More phone calls from me to the delivery company. The company said they couldn't deliver the fridge unless I signed a waiver for any possible damage to my stone/brick front steps.

    At 6:57 am on 1/8/2020 I got a phone call saying the delivery would be made that morning. I told them the regional ice storm -- of which they were aware -- had made all the sideways, driveways and steps hazardous, closing schools -- and that my front steps were covered in a layer of ice that I would need to chip away. I cleared the ice from the steps and the walkway to the steps but that took 2 hours. They cancelled the delivery. The fridge was finally delivered and installed on Tuesday, 1/14/2020, by two crews with a total of SIX men. What my wife and I went through to get our new fridge installed wasn't right.     We ordered a Simmons set of power reclining sofa and loveseat November 29, 2018. We didn't get delivery until January 8th! Then, after eight months of normal use, the footrests became lumpy and the padding was falling out. Upon husband's inspection, he saw defects in the design underneath the recliners, with L brackets actually tearing the material and causing the padding to fall out. So there are multiple defective issues. We contacted Goedeker's and they sent us to Simmons, the manufacturer, who sent us back to Goedeker's!

    On December 10, 2019, after calling them again, we were asked by the manager, David **, to take pictures of it all with detailed comments of the issues. He promised to contact Simmons to 'work on this for us' and get back to us within two days time. We waited and NO RESPONSE..I called them back on December 30, 2019 asking to speak to the manager, David ** once again, because there was almost three weeks of silence from Goedeker's in resolving this problem. I was put on hold for 6 minutes, then after speaking to Brittany for only a minute, asked for David **, he was 'on the other line' so waited for another 10 minutes, and no one talked to me. I called back, and was told David would call me back....

    I was sent to the damage and resolution department 'case manager' named Brittany. She was for a second time, clueless on exactly what we bought as furniture style. She tried to convince me that this padding falling out and becoming lumpy and disheveled was 'what happens when you use your feet to close the recliners'. For one, NO, this is not considered 'normal wear and tear' even if these were NOT POWER RECLINING sofas. Who expects their new furniture to fall apart and not stay padded? I then insisted she have David ** call me back on this, because he was the one who promised to help us. We heard nothing that day, and this was early afternoon, nothing the second day either.

    We finally got an email from David ** on January 1, 2020, stating that Simmons will not cover any of these defects, because it's not covered under their one year warranty. We didn't receive our delivery until January 6, 2019, so that isn't a year. Ridiculous and unacceptable! This company avoids talking to customers with complaints and puts you on hold for a long time. They do not reply to emails either.. And, they are labeled as a Christian owned company. It's time to contact the owners of both Goedeker's and Simmons. At this point, we are very disgusted and angry!

    Beware, do not order Bosch appliances from this company. I ordered a refrigerator on September 22nd which was backordered 2 weeks at order. I then received three separate delays in the backorder date which pushed it back to January 3rd. On December 30th I was informed that it was backordered to June 15th, that is 9 months! I found another company with 10 of the same product in stock and 12 more in route 2 weeks later and will get it in a couple days. Goedeker's simply orders the appliances one at a time from Bosch and that leaves you subject to lengthy delays. Their customer service did nothing to help the situation but tell me that they can do nothing. They were also very rude and did not have my interests in mind, only tried to claim they did nothing wrong when in fact they have a flawed business model.

    With the store itself, Goedeker's is fine. But, I've had problems with the KitchenAid product. I got a message from FedEx saying there was nobody there to sign for it, but I made sure somebody was there to sign for it. I then got another message saying that they would deliver it and they were never there -- this was a problem with FedEx. Followed up with them, they finally showed up, and the box was absolutely destroyed. I bought a high-dollar cooktop and neither orifices were correct. It had to be resent and still it was not burning 100% like it should for a $1,500 cooktop. It’s worth like a $200 cooktop. I’ve had two technicians out there twice. So, it’s better now. We may have it dialed in, but it was a pain to have to go through that with a brand-new product. I also bought the oven hob online and the ordering process was easy.

I ordered it in early November and the website was navigateable. Also, they were able to help me when I had to change my address. The lady I spoke to took care of everything easily, but she sounded annoyed a little bit 'cause I guess it was extra work for her to have to call other people. But she was able to handle everything. The items have not been delivered yet. It's split up into a couple of shipments, so one is coming tomorrow.     This company is just a middleman, very negative experience buying two pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture. First time piece was damage, they order replacement and it was also damage, trying on third time replacement, since they will decline returning what I paid for based on the premise that I didn’t kept the original boxes. After a month who will keep original boxes when you believe you are going to get what you paid for. The other piece never made it. Customer service extremely poor and communication skills are horrendous. Their policy doesn’t apply as the packages were delivered without a notice and they don’t back that up. Box was just magically dropped at my front door one day. I will never buy from this company ever again, what a waste of time and money.

    I ordered 4 Ashley Clare View outdoor chairs from Goedekers on August 30th for $1212.00 which was immediately charged to my credit card. I received all four chairs on September 5. Same day I opened one of the four very large chair boxes and noticed a split chair arm/leg piece. I immediately contacted the company to inform them of this issue and my concern on the quality of the product and inquired about return policies. I was told I could not return the products unless there was damage to multiple chairs and I needed to open and inspect them all. I was irate and hesitant to unpack these very large boxes and shared with them if they had to be returned I would NOT be packing them back and shipping them and that I felt it was best they take them while they were packaged. I was told that was not the policy and connected with Kellee in Customer Service to file the issue and discuss about ordering replacement parts.

    Kellee was very nice and assured me that this was an easy process and should be no issues, just check all of the other chairs to make sure there were not other issues. Over that weekend I went through them all and there was one other arm/leg that was damaged. That Monday (9/8) I sent pictures and all of the info including model and serial number for the part. Since that I have emailed for updates with no response on three separate occasions (9/24, 9/27, 10/24). I have also called and spoken to Customer Service almost a dozen times. Each time I was given a new target date for delivery. One time I was told that the manufacturer had it in and that it takes 3-5 days to send out BUT they put a rush on it so I should receive a UPS shipment email any day. Of course nothing!

    Also I have spoken to several Customer Service Reps that say that will get back with me with updates and again ---- NOTHING. The latest series of dates I was given was Nov 11 and then Nov 18. Still no confirmation on receipt of my parts by anyone. Only when I filed a complaint with the BBB did anyone make an effort to contact me, but unfortunately it was just another date given. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company and they will now deal directly with them. I will be happy to pay for the product once I have all of the parts in working order. PLEASE even if this company has the lowest price review all of the complaints and customer reviews. You will see a common theme here of bad customer service. Go somewhere else!

    We purchase 9 appliances from Goedeker's on 9/17. When we purchased the appliances we were told we they would ship out in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later we received a notice that some of the appliances were back ordered. The entire package was Kitchenaid. I went to Kitchenaid site and every appliance was available for instant delivery direct from them. We called back in and again were told now two of the appliances were still on back order. We had them remove those items expecting them to ship our order immediately. Wrong.. 3 weeks later after several calls they shipped the appliances. So two months after we paid for the appliances delivery day comes. Everything was fine until they bring in the trash compactor. This unit was obviously a returned or open box item. The protective plastic had been removed, there were scuffs, scratches and had prints all over the machine.

    I called customer service and was confronted by rude reps and service manager. They stated policy that they would schedule to have the door replaced. I told them I did not purchase open box items and they needed to replace the unit completely. Again they stated their policy which in our case had nothing to do with the problem. After several emails I have referred this to my attorney to handle as I had no time or patience left to deal with these people. We are suing to return all the items and have made new purchase locally today with a schedule delivery in two days. Buyer beware, these crooks will make you miserable.

    I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher from Goedeker's as we had a particular dishwasher in mind that we wanted, and they had the best price. The ordering process was easy, but there were some hiccups with the delivery. The purchase price hit my credit card about three weeks before the appliance was delivered. And there was some confusion about the delivery, and we ended up picking it up ourselves. The product came in to their warehouse about two weeks after it was ordered, then it took a couple of days to line up the delivery. Either they gave us the wrong day or we had the wrong day. My wife took a day off of work and they didn’t come. And then we were informed that we had to set up a different day. On that day, they showed up and we told them it had to be after 3 o’clock, and they showed up at 1 o’clock. We ended up telling them we’d pick it up ourselves the day after.

    These new appliances are all energy-efficient, but I’m not used to a rack of dishes taking as long to wash. It took a long time to go through the cycle. And then apparently, it’s got a slow dry where the previous appliance probably sucked up all of the energy in the neighborhood and dried it quickly. It’s not a problem though. It’s an adjustment.

    For a dishwasher I ordered, I requested "haul away" service, for which the payment was $29.95. However the salesperson (phone order) said I also needed to pay for "indoor delivery", an additional $59.99, because the people who were going to haul away would have to come into the home to take the appliance (that we would un-install). Despite me saying that all haul aways would require indoor appliance retrieval, and that this was false advertising (of the cost of "haul away") I was nevertheless charged.

    The delivery company did not haul away, After back and forth, the company only reimbursed the cost of "haul away" but not the cost of the indoor delivery (we had curbside delivery). The company was very unresponsive. I have ordered major appliances from them in the past with good service. Perhaps there is new management. I would not order from them again with their false advertising policy.

    I found Goedeker's on the Web some years ago and was taken in by their motto. After making several purchases, since then, I can attest to their worth, It is more than the great savings we get and their word is better than you'll find in most places today. My recent purchase is the brand new AirFry oven model by Frigidaire. I usually wait months to review an item but after only a month of using mostly every day, I'm telling you the convection oven and induction stove top are superior to the last brand we owned. The induction units adjust for small to large pans; they cook with lower speeds than a standard electric stove; cleanup is a breeze; spills don't "cook" into the surface, there is a Power setting that will heat a pot of water before you can chop your first ingredient (unless you have professional chopping skills).

    I tried an AirFryer once and didn't like it due to small batch capacity, thus longer time but this oven can AirFry great. Every time I've used the oven the food turns out great. Same recipes I've used before but this range reacts different. The oven door feels like a high-end model, shutting solid yet it's not heavy. It has all the settings that our previous brand had, plus a few more, yet Frigidaire doesn't cost as much as the more popular one. As I said, this is not my first induction stove or convection oven but this IS the best of both. Frigidaire is of the same family as Electrolux, which is the brand all fridge and all freezer I own. Never been sorry I didn't but another side by side or a french with a bottom freezer to dig through. Another great find at Goedeker's. With and by the grace of God, I'm still able to cook, I'll write updates as time goes by.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased a hood range from Goedeker's for my kitchen remodel on July 19th. When it arrived (it took weeks by the way), our general contractor realized it was too big. I ordered from Goedeker's after checking their return policy to make sure I could return it if something like this were the happen. Fast forward and it took over a month of me emailing all the time trying to return this hood range. I emailed them every few days and got the same lame answer of blaming the manufacture for not providing return instructions. I bought this product from Goedeker's and they are trying to blame the manufacturer.

    Finally on September 18th they authorized my return. It took me a couple of weeks to get the item shipped back because it was so large and bulky - and cost me a fortune. They received my return three weeks ago and I still don't have my refund. Every time I email them, they say they will check on it and get back to me. They never do! How is returning a product such a headache? Horrible customer service and a big run around are all you're going to receive from them if your product isn't right. Save yourself the few extra dollars you save with them and order from someone else.

Goedeker's said they will send me a replacement door in less than a week, only for them to cancel the promised door delivery and rescheduled it ???? for November 28.     I have never shopped at this store before, but was looking for a wine refrigerator and came across the site. They appeared to have a large selection and good prices. 1st order ordered a Koolatron Wine Fridge and when it arrived, the dimensions were very much incorrect (dimensions online have been corrected). It took 2 weeks to get a return label and schedule pickup for the product. I tried again...again, a Koolatron Wine Fridge. This time, the product seemed to match what was online. However, when I plugged it in it rattled so loudly I could hear 1 floor up from where it was installed.

    I put in a bottle of wine, and 4 hours later it was barely cool. Clearly this does not work...and is so loud, I wouldn't want it anyway. First I contacted Goedeker's they told me I had to contact the manufacturer. Because clearly, after using for 4 hours it was no longer their concern. I contacted Koolatron...who told me it wasn't their issue, I had to contact Goedeker's. Who told me, no...this is a manufacturers issue. And so this has gone on for 10 days. Koolatron has now said they will accept it...but I need to pay for shipping--which is around $50. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I receive a defective product, and in order to get a refund, I have to pay to ship it back. Ridiculous. I won't do business with either company again.

    Ordered an LG washer and Dryer. The delivery date kept changing and being pushed out. Finally I received a notice that the product was no longer available and I needed to contact the store and make a different choice. I spent lots of time on the phone with the salesperson over many days getting this ordered and the deal worked out only to have it all fall apart weeks later. After finally reaching someone to discuss this with which was not easy, I was offered different products which cost MUCH more money with no offer to help with the cost or work on some options and they really didn't seem to care. Last email from them, Greg said he would call me on Thursday to work it out. Thursday passed, now Friday has passed and I have had it. I will be calling the owner tomorrow, Saturday.     Anyone in the business of selling should always be willing to make things right with their customers! Unfortunately with Goedeker's that's not the case. I ordered what I thought was a comforter from them for $300 which upon delivery turned out to be an oversized blanket. I called them and told them this was not what I expected and was not worth $300 and that I wanted to return the Bedspread as they called it. They told me it was a special order and couldn't be returned, so I was stuck with it. I had not opened or used the bedspread, and it was all still in the original packaging. In their policy, they say "We believe everything we do should be for the greater glory of God. Our priority is to serve our fellow man to the best of our ability. We want our customers to see Christ in us and in everything we do." Well unfortunately, I don't see Christ in this, and they will never get my business again.

    I wanted a specific item and I found a good deal on Goedeker's. It was a Safavieh chaise lounge and I was price shopping for it. The same item was being sold by Walmart and Overstock.com but the price at Goedeker's was about $150 cheaper. It's an expensive piece of furniture but I'm fine with what I paid. It's kind of an unusual piece. It's not like a sofa. A sofa is so commonplace that you can always find a deal on a sofa. Finding a lounge chair that is shaped the way that you want it to be with the right fabric is kind of unusual.

    I ordered online and although the website doesn't really feel modern, it was fine. There is one thing that could improve but I know that for a lot of retailers, when they have these big items like beds and sofas, it can be hard to keep track of them and get the customer shipping number very quickly. I received the item in about four weeks, which is what they told me to expect. But it took about 10 business days to get a tracking number and an indication that it had shipped. So in that time, I was just waiting. Other than that, the delivery was smooth. They brought it up and dropped the box off in my living room, and the lounge chair is a good piece. It's definitely sturdy and comfortable. I know the brand and it's everything I expected.

    I had also bought a sofa in Overstock four months ago and it was a nightmare. Comparatively, Goedeker's experience was better. I would totally recommend the service. The only thing that I'm a little bit unsure about is just from looking at the company website, a significant part of their brand identity is about Christianity or God. For me, that's a little bit strange. We're just buying furniture here. But they're based in Tennessee so I'm just gonna assume that explains it all. The delivery guy didn't try to convert me or anything.

    I ordered a whitewash Carynhurst media center. They delivered a dark gray with blue tint media center. I refused delivery as The item was not correct. Goedeker's is refusing a full refund of $506.64 and keeping $337.96 for delivery. I relied on the item description of whitewash for the color. When furniture is whitewashed it comes out white. This item was not white. Goedeker's is inferring that I relied on the picture online for the color, which I did not. I relied on the chemical process of whitewashing for the color. The employee who took my call was rude, condescending and dismissive. Stay away from this company as they are not reliable.

    We placed a large order for kitchen appliances on Aug 19. Our credit card was charged immediately. It is Sept 20 and we still have not received the appliances. We keep getting excuses for delays as well as where the shipment is in transit. Now the shipper keeps calling with stupid questions about how big our door and house is before they’ll schedule delivery. They even asked to confirm that we have a 17” front step!!, It’s 7”. They're the exact same size as appliances they’re replacing!!! Bottom line go somewhere else even if it costs a little more. Their customer service reps never follow through.     I bought this bed frame on 9/4/19. I received an invoice immediately. Then on 9/6/19 I had an email stating that the order was being processed. Finally on 9/9/19 came the email stating that the item shipped with a tracking number through UPS. I waited until 9/13/19 to follow up with the UPS tracking number. The tracking number continued to show in transit. I called UPS and the first person told me the same thing that the tracking number said, "It's in transit". I asked for a deeper investigation with UPS. I was transferred to someone else that said after looking deeper that the product was never shipped or received by UPS. A label was created but never shipped. So this was after 5:30 pm central.

    I called Goedeker's on 9/13/19 but I reached them after business hours. Business hours are from 9:30 am-5:30 pm. I had to wait until 9/16/19 9:30 am to speak to someone about the shipping of the bed frame. I spoke with Ashley and explained the whole story. She was apologetic. She said that Goedeker's would have to conduct their own investigation with UPS. She said to give her until Friday 9/20/19. If the matter is not resolved by Friday that she had the permission from her manager to issue a refund on 9/20/19.

    Now I call on Friday 9/20/19 at 9:30 am and speak with Ashley again. She states let me just check with UPS one more time and that she would call me back. I wait an hour before I follow up. I called 1-888-768-1710 and dial #2 for existing orders. Two times in a row the call drops/hangs up. I called a third time and dial #1 for new orders. A gentleman answers and I explain the whole thing to him. He mentions to me that the item is out of stock and will not be made available until 9/23/19. He transfers me to Ashley. Her side of the story is that UPS never conducted an investigation and that the assured her that they would conduct an investigation 9/20/19 and that it would require 48 hours to have the results of the investigation.

    I mentioned that the man I spoke with from sales told me that it is out of stock until 9/23/19. I told her that I felt that they were putting me off until the item is back in stock to just ship it to me then. I told her that she told me that if this was not resolved by 9/20/19 that I would be issue a refund. She told me that she can not issue the refund until UPS conducts an investigation. And since UPS never started the investigation on 9/16/19 that she could not issue the refund until 48 hours from 9/20/19. I told her that I would dispute the charges with my credit card company and that I would leave a horrible review explaining how Goedeker's conducts business on every possible website. Because I'm sure they will delete this review.

    I then asked to speak with her manager and again she puts me on hold and guess what? The call drops/hangs up again. So here I am. I've disputed the charges with my credit card company. I'm leaving this review and will copy and paste this to put on other websites. If they do send me the item next week once the items is back in stock, I will deny delivery and return to sender!!!!

    I ordered a bar cooler from Goedeker's. I found the item on the website and then I called and spoke to someone to order. The interactions that I've had so far with Goedeker's has been fine. I just had a problem with the shipping company. I had it delivered and the first time I got the item, it came messed up. The back of it, when I did the unwrapping to make sure everything was okay, was all jammed up. The delivery was supposed to be by a certain date.     If you are planning on purchasing anything from Goedeker's website, READ this below before making a decision. I have a suspicion that this merchant gets defective stuff from manufacturers and sells them at a discount. 1) Purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator from Goedeker's (Order#** Serial# K91802534). It’s a 100 year old technology, what could go wrong in this purchase? It shouldn’t be smooth, except that I got trapped with a slightly lower price deal compared to Costco (~$100 cheaper). Goedeker's website always says ‘LAST DAY SALE…’ but you will find the same banner every single day on their website for the same product(s). 2) It took more than a month to deliver the Refrigerator. It has to be a weekday, so I had to stay home that morning to receive it (no weekend delivery).

    3) To my shock, the refrigerator’s door had a bubble on it. No - It wasn’t a damage during transit. That can happen and it is understandable. But a bubble can happen ONLY if the refrigerator doesn’t not go through quality check by the manufacturer. Maybe these merchants buy such defective merchandise to sell it cheaper…can’t say. Either way, I informed Goedeker's within 30 min of receiving the delivery.

    4) Within a week, the refrigerator started to make noise, something like a motorbike or a car with ignition on. If I open the door, the refrigerator becomes completely silent but when I close it, you can hear the ‘start of ignition’ noise and the ‘engine ramping up’. To a point, it is hard to sit in the family room when everything else is silent as the refrigerator’s motorbike type noise is always there.

    5) Informed Goedeker’s and asked them to replace the unit as it was defective when it left the warehouse! There was a blunt ‘NO’. Goedeker's washed their hands off right away saying that my only option is to work with their post-sales warranty support as it is Whirlpool’s problem. Called Whirlpool and they say it is Goedeker’s issue as I am their customer. My problem - I purchased a new refrigerator and received a defective unit instead. 6) To get it repaired requires me to be home for multiple half days as the service has not weekend coverage. 7) Disputed the credit card transaction but Goedeker's presented a skillfully written contract that on returns, the customer must ship the unit back to them at their own expense, which could mean $500+ and it is not realistic. Lessons learned:

    - Goedeker's are not a genuine merchants. I should have checked rest of the reviews before purchasing a big ticket item like a refrigerator.
    - Don’t get trapped with no tax, free shipping sort of promotions from Goedeker’s.
    - Pay a little more to Costco or Home Depot etc as they would have been a much better option, even at a slightly higher price. At least they stand behind their customers.

    - I haven’t used much Whirlpool products but based on my interaction they are useless. They don’t care at all about customer experience.

Ordering every major kitchen appliance online was a little scary to say the least. It was not without a few headaches, delays, and inconveniences either. Through every issue, big and small Goedeker’s stood by me and made it work. Every time, any issue! I ALWAYS felt as though this company was with me, and more concerned that something was wrong than I was. I always felt good after talking with them, or emailing them. It was a large order with many parts.

    The staff at Goedeker’s is above and beyond the friendliest retail people I have ever worked with. Not just the salespeople who always tend to be friendly, and then disappear in other retail businesses, but even the backend staff who worked very hard to make sure my kitchen remodel ended with all of my appliances in place, and with minimal delay to my contractors who were on site waiting for appliances.

    I cannot thank you enough Goedeker’s for everything you guys did for me, especially you Kellee, for pulling all of my order together and getting making everything come out just right. My wife LOVES her new kitchen, and all of the new appliances look great in their rightful spots. Even my general contractor was amazed at how well everything worked out with my order.     Goedeker's did not honor their delivery dates or times. The delivery company damaged my floor when they delivered the product on a day I did not agree to. I had some neighbors sign for the product but they would not allow them to unpack it. When I finally unpacked it it was defective, damaged. This company does not stand by their products nor do they provide reasonable customer service. They wanted to send me four new dresser drawers. I declined and desired to send the dresser back. They refused saying they would charge me $300 to return it and I could only return it if it was in its original package.

    That would be impossible because you literally had to destroy the packaging to get the dresser unpacked. I asked for a discount for the damage. They refused. I will never do business with this company again and I will do my best to inform everyone I know and post everywhere possible so others do not fall prey to this company’s practices. So disappointed.

    As quoted by Goedeker's welcome letter, they "take pride in highest quality items at the lowest prices". Well, this is horribly incorrect. My vanity came extremely damaged with cracks up the backside. I absolutely understand that poorly handled packages can arrive damaged and accidents happen. Following my discovery to the damage, I reached out to customer service and they were extremely rude and unaccommodating. The individual I spoke with refused to issue me a refund or send any new parts. They said it was on me to package it up and send it back and to "let them know when it's on its way", meaning they also would not assist with the return. I chose to shop here over many other websites that have the same exact vanity but that was a big mistake. Take my advice, pay a few more dollars to shop at a big box store that has decent customer service. What a disappointing company. Goedeker's has lost a customer.

    I ordered an Ashley Millennium North Shore King Sleigh Bed (which includes headboard, footboard and rails) on June 27, 2019. I finally received my items on August 2, 2019 after waiting for over a month and placing multiple calls in to Goedeker's as well as the shipper. Upon reception, my footboard was damaged and I was told to await a phone call to arrange pick-up of the damaged footboard (which I am still awaiting).     Placed order for expensive set of wind chimes on May 16, 2019. Received confirmation email and copy of invoice same day. Email stated the manufacturer would be in contact in 7-10 days about shipping. Email on May 21 said to expect shipping by June 24. Another email on May 28 repeated that claim, which was a lie. Customer service on June 27 said shipment would be on July 26 and that the order was marked urgent. This was also false. Emails on July 2 and July 9 moved the ship date to July 30. On July 30 an email said the ship date was now 1 to 3 weeks away. It is now 12 weeks since the item was paid for, and the delays show no sign of ending. Goedeker's seems to be a corrupt or incompetent company which uses float time to prop up their cash flow.

    Do not do business with this company. If you have a problem with your order they charge you a outrageous fee for return. I ordered almost $6,000 in appliances. They delivered a 36 inch cook top to go over a 30 inch oven. It took almost 2 months to get a credit back and they charged me $370 dollars to return a product that was their mistake.     I was searching for a refrigerator and Goedeker’s came up. I found what I wanted on their site and it was a pretty easy transaction. I ordered a while ago, but I guess they custom make that specific refrigerator so it takes longer to have it shipped. They gave me a time period of having them to get it from the manufacturer’s warehouse and once they get it into their warehouse, then it gets shipped out. When I talked to them this last time, the lady gave me a basic timeframe that she said I would get an email with tracking information as soon as it goes ready to be shipped.     Updated on 07/19/2019: This is a follow-up addendum to my original review of Goedeker's. Goedeker's has credited my account by adjusting $430.01. How they arrive at not giving me a full adjustment is beyond me. Here's the breakdown and what it basically shows is although I returned the chair, I still paid $434.70 for a defective, damaged chair. Does this make sense? 5/7/19 - chair purchase price - $566.37. Total price after delivery charges, etc. $661.36. 6/7/19 - My out of pocket cost to ship chair $231.35. 7/16/19 $430.01 adjustment granted ($430.01). My out of pocket cost to buy a chair, return a chair that was defective and now pay for my own mistake of buying from Goedeker's. $434.70. Folks, do your homework. Buy local. Do not buy over the internet and have your item shipped by Goedeker's. This is basic thievery. Think about it. I paid $434.70 for a chair that I don't have. Money out the window.

    Original Review: Ladies and Gentlemen - As a fellow consumer, I can only warn you to stay away from any purchase of any kind with this company. Despite their claim to serving the public with integrity since 1951, they can't even come close to proving it by me. I purchased a leather chair online and that's when my nightmare began. The chair was almost $700.00 and although I felt uneasy about ordering online and having it shipped halfway across the company, I was sold on all the hype that Goedeker's ran an honest, reliable, reputable business.

    After waiting almost a month for the chair, it arrived by AM Transport, which is a whole other nightmare of a story, damaged. The top of the chair had ruptured, most likely from poor packing and poor shipping packages. Initially, I agreed to have the chair fixed but after thinking about it and only a few days later, I called Tiffany **, who is the damage control expert for Goedeker's and explained that I decided I wanted to return the chair instead of having it repaired. She finally got back to me 5 or 6 days later, indicating, it would be at my expense to have Goedeker's pick up the chair through their freight delivery company, AM Trucking.

    I was told I had to pre-pay with a different charge card OTHER than the one I used for the purchase before any returned shipping order commenced. Reluctantly, I agreed to have the chair shipped back. It was taking up space in my living room and there was a foul smell and bad reaction from the chair. After paying for the shipping, 3-4 weeks passed and many, many phone calls, inquiring when the chair would be picked up.

    Finally, the chair was picked up by AM Trucking. The delivery men that picked up the chair were extremely unprofessional, did not speak English and threw one of the cushions to the chair on my wet lawn. They nearly took down an expensive lamp on the way out, tore off all the wrappings that we carefully repacked the chair with and left. Many calls were made to Tiffany ** asking where my adjustment credit was on the chair and I was given many excuses.

    The last call I made, I was told, "I am looking into that..." The purchase of the chair was made on May 1, 2019. Today is July the 13th, 2019 and no credit to my charge card and no indication of doing anything about it. After exhausting all attempts with Goedeker's, I filed a dispute with Synchrony Bank who handles Goedeker's Customer Financing. "Synchrony Home" I was told it could take quite some time for a dispute to be settled. Unsure why it's a dispute. I bought a chair, did not like it, returned it, paid for the shipping out of pocket and want my account credited. That's a typical day in retail sales. At least for reputable businesses but not Goedeker's.

    Please shop local and don't trust yourself to Goedeker's for any internet sales. Their prices may look good but PLEASE read the fine print. Read their return policies and most of all, don't allow them to ship to you from their go-to-delivery company, AM Trucking. They are as outrageous as Goedeker's Customer Service. You live and learn and this was a hard lesson learned. We, consumers, buy in good faith only to be treated like rubbish by companies such as Goedeker's.

    This feedback is in regards to the delivery that was made on 7/1, all 3 pieces were badly damaged, the packing had thousands of small gray rocks that were left all over my living room and front walkway.     I have had the most terrible experience with Goedeker's customer service. I purchased a 30" stove hood and it was backordered for over a month with very little updates from Goedeker's. I received it and had to wait to install it because during my remodel we had to move to other parts of the house as we could not finish the kitchen due to not having this hood. When I finally got to putting the hood in I found I had ordered the wrong size. Goedeker's charged me a 20% restocking fee and $119 in shipping for a total of $350.00 to take an unopened, brand new, unit back.

    Flash forward. I order the correct size unit. They say it's in stock. Wait, it's backordered again. 2 months from order to delivery. Then my installers are removing the protective coating and find a major scratch. The company's response is they would give me a $60 credit for a damaged unit or I could send it back. BUT I'd already paid to install it. I pushed and they truly said in essence, "screw you". Truly buyer beware with this company.

    I ordered a KitchenAid KPS704FPSS from Goedeker's. First salesman did not explain that I need to purchase installation separately. On notification that unit was being delivered I paid for installation, when I received the unit the delivery company would not install, even though I had paid for the unit. I call requesting a refund on installation and I am still waiting. When I finally got the unit unpacked and installed we noticed that left door with ice maker was scratched. I contacted Goedeker's and they offered to fix the unit; I said no, I want the unit replaced. I had to supply photos to prove the unit was not being used; 3 weeks later and I am still waiting on the replacement unit. Every time I call the date for delivery of the replacement unit keeps getting pushed out. .

    The unit is now on sale for $500 less and I am told I can only get that price if I allow to pick up the damaged unit, and then repurchased the unit once they have damaged unit. My family has no refrigerator and they refuse to price match to the current sales price, and it hasn't even been 30 days. Company representatives are rude, and their business practices are unethical. I should had a replacements weeks ago and I should be allowed the cheaper price without having to create new transactions in the system.

    I ordered a table, two chairs, and two stools form Goedeker's and I received everything thing together. When I got home I opened up the box with the table and it broken where the leg should go. The boxes with the chairs and stools were still intact. I emailed customer service and they sent out a new table and I returned the one I had. When the second table came in I opened it asap and there was a big scratch on the top of the table, it was about 2 inches long. I called customer service and I was told to email pictures and that it was going to be reviewed within 24 hours. I finally heard back from Brittney Ann and she told me that they could offer a partial refund for the table but they couldn't send a new one because they were afraid it was going to get damaged in the process. I was offered a $25 refund for the scratch "that should cover cost for damage repairs."

    I asked to return the full order, chairs and table included and I was told that I would have to pay out of pocket for the shipping. Mind you, I only had the items for roughly 3 weeks. I asked to speak to a manager and she replied with "the manager is going to repeat the same polices." Right after she replied with "we can try sending the table one more time." As soon as I received the new table I made sure to send her pictures via email of how destroyed the box was that it came in. I even took a picture of what looked like a shoe print on the box. I finally opened it and checked it thoroughly aside from the couple of scratch the table had it was fine and at this point I was exhausted of shipping the table that I just decided to build and keep it.

It was more like a bidding system where the third party took my price and they were able to locate a retailer who would match it and that was Goedeker's. I called Goedeker's once and they were responsive. The item was shipped quickly. However, the delivery was a bad experience. The delivery guys messed up. It had some damage to it. The top part is bent. The problem was my wife tried to open it and she didn't realize the damage. Once I was here, I was able to see it. By the time, the delivery team had left.     I placed my order containing a washer and dryer on May 22, and I paid $59.99 to upgrade my delivery option to the highest level of "Inside Delivery." My order was sent to the delivery company (AM Shipping) 6 days after I placed the order. I called Goedeker's and the shipping company several times to attempt to get any information on when the delivery might be arriving, but neither company was able to provide me with any information regarding the status of my order. It wasn't for another 6 days that I was able to see any tracking information, at which point the delivery was scheduled for Saturday, June 8. On Friday, June 7, I received a text from AM Shipping informing me that my delivery would now arrive on Monday, June 10.

    I called both the delivery company and Goedeker's to see if this could be rearranged, but neither company was able to help. When the items arrived today (June 10), I showed the delivery team the laundry room, in which I had already placed a pedestal to set the washer on. I explained exactly where I wanted the items placed, including placing the washer on the pedestal, and still they failed to mention that this could not be done. The team unboxed both the washer and dryer in my driveway before rolling them inside to be placed into the laundry room. This significantly damaged the feet of the machines, as they were not meant to be placed/dragged on concrete.

    Upon rolling the items inside, the delivery team placed the washer in front of the pedestal, and left the dryer in the hallway blocking the door to the laundry room. The delivery team told me they would not place the washer on top of the pedestal due to company policy, so they left the items this way. I called Goedeker's to ask them to refund the upgraded delivery charge, as the team did not perform the service as it was described - the dryer was left outside of the room, not inside the laundry room as I had asked. The delivery team even took photos to show exactly how the items were placed before I signed for the delivery.

    The customer service representative said that it was my fault for having the pedestal (which she called an "obstacle") in the way of delivering the items into the room of choice, and that Inside Delivery only guarantees unboxing the items and bringing them inside the house - the "room of your choice" is not necessarily part of it. This directly contradicts Goedeker's delivery policy as stated on their website. I explained several times that the washer was meant to be placed on top of the pedestal, and that at no point was it mentioned that they would not be able to do this. Leaving the items this way was not at all what I wanted or paid for, and Goedeker's has refused to fix the issue.

    The day it was delivered for my son’s birthday gift we attempted to put it together. Got to the last piece, left armrest, and it was missing metal inside the predrilled hole. We could not attach it. I notified Goedeker's the same day. It was required that I take a picture of the problem although you cannot see inside the predrilled hole. To this day I have not heard back about how LONG it is going to take to get this part! Not very professional. Wish I had not ordered the chair or even heard of Goedeker's.     I ordered a refrigerator April 27th with an expected delivery date of less than a week. Have a 3 month old baby at home that I need to keep milk frozen for so time was of the essence. Received order confirmation email immediately but no update for over 2 weeks. I contacted the 866 number, they said my order was on manufacturer back order until May 26th. They offered no replacement product options, no price concession, instead offered a 10 year limited warranty. Immediately after getting off the phone, I received an email stating the product was on back order. Timely, quality service.

    It is now May 28th and still no update. I called and they said still on back order, no change. I receive an email again immediately after the phone call stating the order is on back order UNTIL JUNE 26TH! That will be nearly 2 months after my initial order with no original notification the product was on back order. Not sure how this is in any way customer service.

    Needless to say, I cancelled the order. Just to give me a warm fuzzy feeling, they can't give confirmation the order has been cancelled over the phone. I had to wait for an email from the finance department, quote, "Whenever they got around to cancelling". Prices were okay, not great, service was horrible. I wouldn't be upset if I knew up front the product was on manufacturer back order. I would NEVER recommend the company for any product on any sort of timeline. Go anywhere, Sears for Pete's sake, for reliability and service.

    This week (mid April) my BlueStar custom range hood arrived. It was ordered last May. It was supposed to come the end of November with the range but did not show up.     We thought we ordered a rug that was buffalo check ivory. That's what was advertised in the description. Simple enough. What we received was a thick, dark tan rug with black stripes on it. You can barely tell it's supposed to be buffalo check. Anji Mountain, the manufacturer, says the "angle on the phone makes it look different than ours" and refuses to take it back. We have a separate ivory rug underneath it so you can see the color contrast. Goedeker's won't take it back because we threw away the incredibly soiled and damaged plastic wrap it came in. So many better companies out there to buy quality rugs from without false advertising. I also wrote a review on the website with the exact wording as this one, and Goedeker's won't publish it on their website, so their customers are getting censored reviews. Customer deserve way better than this false advertising and censored reviews.

    Best prices to be found, but they are cheap for a reason. Customer service is awful and delivery and installation borders on a scam. We have replaced every major appliance in our home in the last 3 years via Goedeker's. They treated us like trash when delivery and installation was an issue (again!) last month. We purchased delivery and installation from Goedeker's. You pay extra if you want them to deliver INTO the house. I guess some customers do their cooking and cleaning at the curb and we are unusual. Okay, we paid up but the difference in their prices vs. local appliance stores (who actually can help you pick out good appliances) was diminishing.

    In our case, in No. CA, our products were shipped and installed by AM Trucking (Goedekers choice, not ours). AM Trucking is a trucking company. The young men who delivered the products were delivery men. They claimed not to know how to install the dryer (and the microwave last time). That ended up not being an issue because the dryer arrived damaged and we did not accept it. Informed of the installation issue, customer service could not be bothered. They said our problem was with AM Trucking and work it out with them. I didn't pay AM (consequently, they could care less about me, I'm not their client), I paid Goedeker's. All this to say, if all you care about is saving about 5% when all is said and done, Goedeker's might work for you. Buyer beware.

    I have purchased something from Goedeker's before and I like having my item shipped to me instead of picking it up. They are also competitive on the pricing because they don’t charge for taxes to Texas. When our dishwasher had broken, I tried to find somewhere that could ship a new one in a decent timeline. I ordered a dishwasher from Goedeker's online and it didn’t take too much of a time as I knew what I wanted. I called them and they said that it would be here in a couple of weeks. After all that was said and done, it was a month or sometime before it was actually at our house. I was a little bit frustrated that we have gone for that long without a dishwasher. They should try to get a better handle on estimating shipment delivery because it was far-off when I got my hands on my dishwasher.     An Ottoman I ordered arrived damaged. They replaced it, but it took 3-4 weeks. The second one also arrived damaged, but the damage was much less and not very visible so I decided to keep it. A few weeks later, the faux-leather started splitting in multiple places. About a month after my second complaint, they finally replied that I was way outside the return window and wouldn't allow a return. They wouldn't replace again as it was out-of-stock and discontinued. They offered a 10% refund. I ended up paying >$200 for an Ottoman with damaged wood trim and splitting fabric. Very unsatisfied with the product, the customer service response time, and the resolution.

    Poor customer service. Poor return policy. If there is an issue with your order, they will give you the runaround in hopes you go away. I ordered a treehouse bed. Two boxes were delivered. Opened boxes to discover numerous parts were missing. Have been in contact with them for months now and still do not have missing parts. Their answer to issue is “the two boxes were delivered” even though the two boxes did not include the whole bed. Refuses to address the missing part issue. God forbid you ask for a refund or to return the order. They informed me that would cost me $240. Keep in mind I have notified them numerous times (even sending pics of the items received in each box) and they still refuse to acknowledge anything is missing.

    The best part is they didn’t have a problem charging my credit card for the full order, which I am disputing for the third time! They are crooks and will find a way to make the issue your problem and make you pay for it. They even sent a copy of the delivery ticket to my credit card company and whited out the comment I put on there stating that I didn’t know if the two boxes contained the entire bed. For all I knew there were more boxes to come because it doesn’t tell you on each box what is inside. Deceitful liars that do not give a rip about whether you have a horrible experience or making issues right! Too bad you can’t give negative star reviews! Biggest pain I have ever dealt with!

    Updated on 03/28/2019: This an update to the review I wrote on the 26 of March. The ONLY part covered under that 10 year warranty for the Maytag refrigerator is the compressor! And I mentioned in the first review that the microwave circuit board for the underneath light is shot. They only coverage there would be for the main circuit that operates the actual use of the microwave. The repair of the broken fridge door is $700 + $350 labor, pick up and redelivery. I should have gone to Lowe's and that's where I'm going to get a new refrigerator. I hope this info helps someone!

    Original Review: Explained I had a budget but I wanted a kitchen that would last. Maytag was pointed out in that it had a 10-year limited warranty on each item. I purchased a stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a microwave. A year I after my purchase, the extendable shelf broke off. I took it out as I never used it because without it, I could put milk and juices and the taller things I use in front of it. In late 2018, the door broke and it's still broken because, in spite of product having a 10-year warranty on each item, they say I am under NO warranty. When I got a good look at the bottom of the French door, saw it was plastic and that's why there were plastic pieces on the floor, what broke apart was a plastic piece that fit under this heavy door to hold it up.

    I called Goedeker's but never received a call. I finally called Maytag direct and believing I had some parts coverage, Maytag called them for me and that's where I learned I had none. Two weeks ago the bulb to the light under the microwave burned out and the circuit board with it. I'm not covered for that either. They don't stand behind what they sell and I'm grateful I didn't purchase more. I'm Grateful, but I'm angry. I tried many times to speak with Mr. Goedeker, but he would never come to the phone. I urge buyers to be very careful before they purchase from This expensive box store as their only interest seems to be in the money. I live on social security and now have to figure out how to pay for the repair visit, a new fridge door and to fix the microwave.
