In the middle of an install and NFD wants another $2800.00 for floor leveling the salesman said was included. I can't contact the salesman and NFD is holding up the install until we pay. No matter they have their money upfront. Do not use this company ever. We are seniors and since I can't deal with the salesperson I will be taking this to the Texas Attorney Generals office of Ken Paxton. I repeat do not use this company especially if you are a senior. Elder abuse alert.

I recently called National Floors Direct to get a quote on carpet for my home and I spoke with the customer service line who were really great at answering my questions concerning carpet installation. The representative that helped me with information regarding the carpet was very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. It's amazing how everyone is so happy with the results of the work done by National Direct Floors, while my experience was a nightmare! Unlike what I've seen advertised. After being promised that after the work was done my floors would no longer squeak. Every time I asked the workers a question, they had to call someone on the phone to speak to me. What was supposed to be a one-day job turned out to be 9 hrs. on Saturday and 7 hrs. on Sunday, the rooms are not big, I think with the music and the singing slowed them down. After all this, I couldn't even get a courtesy call back from the Regional Sales Manager, nor the Salesmen - John **! They just disappeared; this was truly a waste of time and money. I am right back where I started 😒

NFD was professional and efficient from start to finish! Sales rep was informative and offered a variety of selections without pressure to purchase. The install team was prompt, did a fabulous job and cleaned up all within 2 hours. Would highly recommend NFD!

This was such an easy transaction. The salesman was kind and courteous. The installers were professionals like they were working on their own home. Molding matched my previous molding exact. Arrived on time installation was smooth. And after the installation I get a call from office to see if I’m happy with all the services. I told her very happy from start to finish. Needed to replace carpeting in one of the bedrooms of my home. I called a few different companies before I got a quote from NFD, I wish I would've called them 1st. The other companies couldn't get me an appointment or get my project done in the time we needed it done. National floors direct was able to get somebody out and get a quote which was very reasonable and was able to do installation of my flooring within a few days! They even give you a gift card to fill out a couple surveys on how they performed. Definitely recommend for your flooring needs!

Great company. Great service. Workers were efficient and very friendly. They worked quickly and even repaired some damage in my floor I didn't even know about. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They left my house very clean. They removed all of the old carpeting and padding so quickly and efficiently.

My installation was great and I love it but the problem I have is their customer service representative. I called several times, no response and today she finally got back to me but she was very defensive and curt. I will not be calling this flooring company again. I am a customer looking for kind, respectful customer service. That didn't happen. I am a repeat customer with more rooms to get done. I don't need someone talking over me and interrupting me.

Do not even consider using NFD. I had an extremely disappointing experience with National Floors Direct. I felt misled by their pricing and the quality of the product received. I specifically selected a particular color of laminate (coffee house tan) wood flooring, but the installation team delivered the wrong shade. When I reached out to address this mistake, the company dismissed my concerns entirely. Furthermore, the customer service representatives I interacted with were unhelpful and unprofessional. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not their priority nor is quality product. Once your money is received clearly that last thing on their mind is customer satisfaction. A company that lacks moral and ethical integrity.

So many times I’ve watched The TV Ads that NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT has run, and always thought that they sounded too good to be true. I finally decided to give them a try as I wanted new Luxury Vinyl flooring on the first floor of my house (850 SF). The day after I called, a representative came and measured the space. He was very respectful wearing footwear protected booties and laser measured every inch. Initially the pricing was higher than I thought based on the claims that their TV ads made. However, I was very surprised at the way that he went the extra mile to meet my expectations. I got the flooring I wanted at the price in my budget. 2 days later the installers came in.

Buyer Beware. I should have done my homework and looked deeper into National Floors Direct selling practices. DO NOT GET SUCKERED by National floors direct, they are very underhanded and rip you off. I paid in full to get my floors leveled and then tile installed, installers showed up stating that I never paid for leveling (which their salesman fooled me and lied that It was included in my contract).

Our salesperson showed us a variety of choices. We picked a laminate for a bedroom & bathroom. Carpet & padding was removed & hauled away. They reviewed job upon their arrival and did professional work. No cutting corners. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure we were satisfied with the work.

From the initial meeting with the representative to him adjusting my cost so it was comfortable for me and me receiving the exact color carpet I wanted at no extra cost. Those who came to install the carpet were so professional. They completed the job in less than an hour. That included removing my old carpet, cleaning the floor, removing my furniture out of the room, installing the carpet and putting my furniture back. I also received a $25 gift card.

I am so happy with using National Flooring. This is my second time using the company and another wonderful experience. I was very happy that a year later they still carried the flooring I wanted. I find with other companies floor products get discontinued all the time. The company was very professional, honest, great customer service, and fast working. My floor installation came out better than I deserved. I did not do in homework! I just called National Floors Direct and went with them. My floors were in such bad shape anything would be an improvement. Justin came to give us a quote. He was extremely nice and charming, a regular Mr. Wonderful, so nice. He showed us a floor that I really liked for my kitchen, assured me everything would be just fine with the leveling and we did the contract. We were told it would be an all day job with installers arriving at 8 am. Then we get an email that they will come between 7:30 and 12 - for an all day job. Well the installers arrived late. They came at 12:30 instead of 12 for an all day job. They did not speak good english. However, they worked hard at both putting in the floor and comunicating with us. However, we were held hostage.

When needing a new floor we contacted National Floors Direct. They responded quickly and set an appointment. On day of appointment sales rep arrived on time and provided us with a number of options. After choosing our floor an installation time was quickly established. On day of installation the crew arrived on time and immediately started installation. The job was done professionally and kitchen was left in perfect condition. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install floors and would gladly use National Floors Direct again. My wife and I were shopping for quotes to replace our builder’s grade carpet and tile for LVP. National Floors Direct came in with the lowest quote and we went with them. The salesman came, did a great job explaining their service and helped me choose the right flooring. Although he was straight and to-the-point, he was also very pushy. I didn’t mind it because I knew what we wanted, but he did have to come back because we later decided on another LVP choice. The installers took two full days to rip out the existing tile and carpet, and install the LVP- around 850 sqft.

The Rep that came to my house for the consultation was knowledgeable and worked with my needs to help land on the perfect rug for our basement. The installation team came on time and did quality/quick work with no issues. I highly recommend you consider National Floors Direct when you're looking for your next rug purchase.

I had a very good experience with National Floors Direct. The in home shopping was very easy, convenient and fast. The install was quick and efficient and they worked very neatly. Also, not having to remove the big furniture, as the installers moved it, was a great bonus. We visited several stores but could not decide on what would look good in our dining room. We decided to use companies that came to our house with floor samples. We checked with Empire Floors and still could not decide. When we called in National Floors Direct our sales associate Armando had dozens of colors and styles to pick from. With his help and patience we finally found what we were looking for. The floor was installed within 2 weeks. The installers were prompt, clean and courteous. After they left I did not have to lift a finger to clean anything. We could not be more satisfied. We would recommend them to anybody.

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of using NFD for my flooring and both experiences were top notch. The flooring is great quality and top brands and the installers they use are terrific, I will absolutely use them for any future flooring needs! The first time we used them we had carpet installed but with pets, this became stained so we decided to complete the downstairs floor with Luxury Vinyl and it is terrific. It not only looks great but is virtually indestructible.

Please note the following encounter with National Floors Direct. I placed an order for carpet as per a home visit with Kevin ** on 4/2/25 at my home. A control panel was introduced with carpet panels, as per discussion with Kevin I chose from his beard a product next to the black carpet that was my choice because I thought the black carpet would be easily tarnished with traffic. This product he identified as a steel beam gray carpet which was the darkest of the carpet panels next to black. Kevin contacted his warehouse manager with measurements to assure it was in stock. Once this was given the yes, "We have it but needed a deposit will call/hold the amount stated by the sales rep was initially $425.00usd". After the call to the warehouse the amount was changed to $800.00 USD.

National Floors Direct changed 3 floors in my house to hardwood laminate. The choices I had were vast and multi-faceted. I chose a dark hardwood and a white plush carpet for the stairs. They came and did the floors quickly and efficiently. They removed all carpet that was there and then they replaced it with the hardwood. They also took the old carpet away. They were professional and courteous. I couldn't be more pleased with the flooring and plan to use them again.

They are magnificent with pricing, being on time, being clean, being polite and listening to your needs. They are willing to bargain with you. They are willing to meet you in the middle and give their own opinion on cookery and type of flooring. They give a percentage off for first time customers and if you don't like it they will do whatever to please you.

Working with National Floors Direct was a pleasant experience. We selected carpet for for our master bedroom and the walk-in closet adjacent to it. The flooring has high pile and is very soft to walk on. The installers removed the old carpet and padding and installed the new very efficiently. The company honored our request to make a change in the color we had originally selected. The best part is the job cost $500 less than it would have had we chosen a nearby company. We’re very happy with the quality of the carpet and the work of the installers.

My salesman was awesome. I got an amazing deal that made me cancel another appointment I had with a vendor. The day of my installation the installer was on time and was very knowledgeable and got the job done quickly as to not waste my time and respected the fact that it was my day off so I could go get my other stuff done.

Salesman Armando ** was good at selling a product that wasn't delivered. Per the installers, the salespeople do this all the time. The main issue was we had agreed to floor leveling, which we were told NFD could do. After the late arrival of our installers, they began removing the old floor. Upon beginning to lay the new floor, I noticed they hadn't leveled the area, I stopped the work, to find out that the crew sent were not equipped to level the floor, and their work order did not mention floor leveling. I had to go to Home Depot during the install to buy supplies so a small area could be leveled, and the new flooring laid. The entire room needed to be leveled and wasn't, only a small area which had a drop off. Had I not agreed to allow the work to continue, the installers stated I would be charged up to $1800 as a cancellation fee, and I would have been left with no floor.

Worst of the worst, they stopped working in the middle, called me and said pay us in full in order to complete the job. Contacted their customer care. He was too rude. Contacted the sales representative David K. He said OK pay them. Worst experience ever.

The installers were efficient and accurate in installing my carpet. They moved all necessary furniture and replaced all furniture after the carpet installation. The salesman George ** came to my house. He was courteous and very professional. I really liked how he was not pushing me to get the more expensive brands. We chose National Floors Direct to install carpet in our guest bedroom for several important reasons. First, the quality of the carpet is far superior to box store carpet. We wanted something we will not have to replace again in ten years (no knock off carpet brands here). We were looking for quality, and we got it! Secondly, we did not want to pay exorbitant prices. We did expect to pay more for their carpet, however, after digging into the "hidden" prices (disposal, higher quality padding) from other vendors, this was the clear choice. Lastly, the ease in which we made the carpet deal was rather easy. It turned out to be a very good experience and we'd recommend them as your choice for carpet.

Not only did y'all beat the quotes but the gentleman that came to give me my quote was so pleasant, so down to earth that he spoke my language. Had carpet installed a few weeks ago. The installation team did a great job and cleaned when they finished. Then then showed me their work and it looked like a new room. I would highly recommend them after seeing their work. The same installers that I HAD last time I had this time.

National Floors did a great job installing my floors. The person that installed my floor was Curtis and very professional and he took his time to make sure that the job was done right. They did not try and trick me and they were on time and the price was reasonable.

He was very friendly; he described each product and guided us through the application process thoroughly. I was able to get questions answered from him and customer service. We followed the installation preparation instructions and, so when the installers came, everything went smoothly.

My experience with National Floors Direct was excellent. My sales consultant spent time with me reviewing several options for replacing my hurricane damaged floors. He was very patient and came out a second time to finalize the process after we decided to proceed with the order. Order finalizing was easy and customer service followed up next morning to confirm the order and ask about satisfaction so far. Additional follow up was done to make sure installation date was correct confirm date still worked with a time window. Installation went great and floors look amazing. We were looking to have the carpets replaced in 2 of our bedrooms, and called on National Floors Direct, they came out to give us a quote on replacing the carpeting, the salesman was very professional and knowledgeable, he gave us a price on the flooring and we are pleased to say, the job was done very professionally and quickly, we are very happy with the results.

I've never used a company that I saw on TV, but I tried National Floors Direct because of an ad I saw. I called customer service who was courteous and professional and arranged for someone to come and give me an estimate. I was called to confirm the date and time. Their rep came at the designated time, measured and showed me some samples of vinyl. After discussion, I decided on what I wanted and an ETA for installation was given for 10 days. I received a confirmation from the office by email. The installation did occur in 10 days. The installers were wonderful - so lovely to work with. I was impressed by them and my floor came out fantastic. I love it. Would definitely recommend.

Help me choose the correct color and I picked the carpet that will not let waters seep through the carpet so it just bubbles on the top and you wipe it up.

I only have positive things to say about National Floors Direct. The company has been in business for decades and was referred to me by a friend from work years ago.

The salesman was Timely, imprompt. The process was explained to me thoroughly. The flooring was a good match to our existing flooring. The appointment for the installation was scheduled that day for the following week at my convenience. The installers did a good job and were very quick. The installers also cleaned up and removed all the old flooring.

This company is horrible to work with. Issues every single step of the way. Rep that is sent says something completely different than customer service on the phone, which says something different than the installers. (Who to be fair are outside contractors who don't actually work for the company.) Customer service reps also say different things from one person to the next so no one knows has an understanding of what is going on. What they say - don't expect it to actually happen whether it is from the rep that comes out to customer service. What you get is very different than what was discussed and you just talk in circles with customer service - who pulls an attitude at your frustration of the run around. Multiple emails and phone conversations requesting to talk with one person who can look at the entire project to figure out what went wrong are ignored.



The guy came in and gave me my estimate. He was so funny and polite. I told them I needed it done after I was done painting but before my party I was having and they were able to come the exact day I needed them to come. The woman on the phone to confirm my appointment was very helpful in answering my questions. I'm very pleased and we are enjoying our new carpet. Thank you National Floors Direct.

Their prices were half the price of what the other competitors were offering. They were able to get the job done in two days instead of 3 to 5 weeks. The salesperson came to my house with a large selection of products to choose from. Installers are quick and clean, would definitely recommend.

They took a deposit of 740.00 dollars. Balance of the job was 6,666.00 dollars in a bank check. When we discussed the job at hand with the salesman we questioned it all being done in one day, he assured us it would. Multiple calls the beginning of the following week confirming our window of 8 to 11. The day of our scheduled appt the last thing to be removed was my toilet. By 8am it was removed. The job agreed on consisted of removal of two layers in my bathroom one layer in my kitchen hall and partial living room to the subfloor. The morning of scheduled appt I called office 845 to confirm a crew would be there. The girl told me our window was now 12 to 4pm and they could show up as late as 4pm. WHAT! I said to the girl. That's not right. I am 60yrs of age and my partner is 67 and retired. We are without toilet till finally the crew showed up.

National floors have done a great job with my home project in February 2025. I had received 3 different quotes and chose this company due to their pricing, quality of the flooring, and the professionalism of the sales representatives. On install day the two gentlemen were terrific. Moved furniture with care, professional, and communicated as needed. They completed three rooms in 1 day and cleaned up after themselves.

I don't have enough space to fully describe my experience with this company. To sum it up, they breached their contract and engaged in deceptive business practices. This company installed carpet in my new construction home. The first issue, they informed me I would receive their thickest padding. However, I discovered after returning to my home earlier than the installers expected, that they installed a low quality padding, that seemed used. The padding in my home was a better quality, and new. But they advised they couldn't leave it because it would void my warranty, which ironically they never honored.

My representative Patrick ** was absolutely wonderful. He gave me lots of options and explained everything I needed to know to make a good decision about my situation and for my house. He was very personable and not pushy or overbearing. I really enjoyed his company during the time he spent here. He is knowledgeable and has great ideas. So we hire them to put a carpet in our new place. Day of installation we were kinda strong armed by their two installers. They giving us a hard time with a couch saying our salesman shouldn't promise moving furniture, might I add I moved EVERYTHING else by myself out of the room. In the middle of the install we come to find out there will be a seam in the middle. We were not told of this. So they install it, it actually looked OK. This was in June 2024...fast forward it is now Feb 6th 2025 8 months later. The seem is shot and just the carpet in general is garbage. National Floors Direct gets back to us today and guess what..we are out of installation warranty. Lmfao what a bunch of crooks. We are out of about 1k cash. THANK GOD we held off doing the other 3 rooms until this summer. Bad enough we're out 1k and have to deal with this carpet until we find a reputable business to replace it along with the other rooms. So use this company at your own discretion. They ripped us off. I wouldn't hire them to put carpet in a dog house now.

This is by far the worst contractor we have ever had a displeasure to work with from shoddy, sloppy work to bait and switch tactics on price and agreed-upon work to terrible, gaslighting customer service. Stay away! They did an a abysmal job for us with a simple carpet installation- gaps between baseboards and carpet, visible seams where carpet was spliced, damage to our existing molding, transition pieces and walls, left exposed staples and nails and a general total mess. No accountability for terrible work and no remediation of errors.

Our experience has been horrible with this company. The salesman, Christian, definitely led with the family owned business and customer satisfaction route but learned quickly that’s a lie. The installers showed up to work on our upstairs and when they got to our stairs determine they couldn’t do the vinyl because there is only one size bullnose. They couldn’t speak much English but translated that we needed to have a carpenter “fix” our stairs. We live in a house that is a builder all over Florida, our stairs are not unique. Our carpenter cut the lip off our stairs, so we could finish the project.

We recently just had new vinyl flooring done in living room and laminate flooring done in one bedroom. It is hard to tell if the new flooring is hardwood, it looks that good. My wife and I are very happy with the professional installation. The installers did a excellent job on the flooring installation and moved all the heavy furniture out and back in each room after installation of new floors. My experience with National Flooring installers was great from start to finish. The salesperson was honest and gave many options. Office staff calls were courteous and informative. The day of install, the contractors were very nice and quick and efficient. I am absolutely thrilled with my floors & the company. I received a gift card for my honest review but well deserved and happy with the work.

Agent that came out was really nice and was able to get us the product and schedule within our intended time frame. The installers arrived within the appointment window. The job didn’t take long at all. Easy selection process and product was what we selected. The installers were polite and professional. Everything was cleaned up and tidy at the completion of the job. Will refer other to this site and glad to provide a review for the service provided.

National Floors Direct is amazing!!! The workers arrived early, were courteous and got right to work. The finished product was amazing. And the best part… they didn't leave a mess. I will definitely be using them again and recommend them to others. A little pricey but you get what you pay for… and in this case, it's top-notch work.

Easy! Good price! Good customer service. Good sales staff. Timely quote, timely install, great color selection, pleasant install staff!! Would recommend this to anyone. Will be using them again! If someone needs carpet installed price it elsewhere first, then have National Floors Direct come and do a quote. They’ll expect you to decide during the meeting.

Everything with the installation was flawless. They were respectful and courteous In my home. They came in for the job done quickly and neatly. The pricing was great. The customer service was great. My floors look amazing. There was no pressure tactics from my sales representative. Would definitely use and recommend National floors direct again.

I did my floors last year. The flooring started separating this year. When I submitted a request for someone to come and fix it because I was informed that it was a lifetime warranty. The manager called me back and she said I have to pay someone to fix the flooring because the warranty is not lifetime, it expired. These people are liars and frauds go with a different company and get your flooring done.

The entire experience was edifying. The customer service representative that came to give us a quote was very respectful and courteous. He presented us with all the options. The technicians were professionals and knowledgeable in their art. They were courteous and friendly. They arrive on time and cleaned up after themselves. It was a very good experience. I would use them again.

Working with National Floors to replace my flooring was a wonderful experience. I had carpet replaced on my stairs and Luxury Vinyl flooring installed in the three bedrooms, hallway, and living room. From the sales rep to the installation company, everyone was pleasant! The sales rep was knowledgeable and patient, as he helped me with my selections. Throughout the process, I never felt pressured to choose something that was out of much budget. The installers arrived on time, and they were able to complete the work in a timely manner, i.e., in one day.

Highly recommend to anyone. Great job by the installers. Clean up after they were done and help move back some of the heavy furniture. I already post to the NextDoor app and the price was so good. I just had to take up their offer with Ez Financing. I order the Mohawk Flooring and next week was install.

Updated Nov 2024. I do not recommend using this company. While the initial appearance of the floors was great, we are now experiencing quality problems due to the subpar installation. They damaged the subfloor that was beneath the previous carpet and now the flooring is bowing so much that it has actually cracked (in one place so far). They came out for a service visit and now want to charge me for the repair! Unbelievable.

The installers were very professional and new what they were doing. Excellent carpet, very happy with it. They did an excellent clean up. I would recommend National Floors Direct. Ordered carpet and it was installed three days later. The installers were later then planned so Floors Direct gave me a small rebate because I had to wait.

The ceramic floors they put in look wonderful. The gentleman who put the floors in were timely, respectful, cleaned up after their work and did an amazing job with the tile. I would recommend them to anyone. Front the front office to the talented workers. It was a wonderful experience, made easy and completed quickly. I had two other estimates that came out slightly more with tiles that were not as good as the ones that I received from this company.

The business is an absolute scam. Their marketing and whole business is deceptive. They will have a seasoned sales agent sign you up and collect the deposit. Then, on the installation day they hit you hard with additional charges. Our initial and final estimate was about $11000 to install vinyl planks in our basement. We were guaranteed that there would be no additional charges. Unfortunately, on the installation day, we were asked to pay an additional $6000 or lose the warranty and the deposit! Further, there’s no professional installation team. Our crew consisted of a frail man with his wife and a young child. And neither spoke a word of English.

National Floors Direct provided carpet for a master bedroom and stairs. They had the best price vs the other major players. They had a Great selection of carpet. Service from the installers was perfect. They were on time and courteous. Communication from appointment set up to install day was clear and timely. They cleaned up and moved furniture on install day. Despite being given a gift card for this review my honest review is that I’d highly recommend National Floors Direct.

We purchased Mohawk Carpet for 3 bedrooms from National Carpet Direct. From start to finish it was a very positive experience. Sales rep Brandon was professional and knowledgeable. Installation was done on the day promised and done beautifully. Installers moved beds and bureaus and removed all old carpet. I will recommend National to all my friends and family!

We are so pleased with choosing National Floors Direct as our go-to for our floors. The salesman was very helpful in helping us make the right decisions for us. There were so many choices and he took the time to answer any of our concerns. We made the right one and they are beautiful! Due to circumstances, he was able to have the installation scheduled a couple of months later which was very helpful in our situation. The staff was very courteous and kept us informed as the date drew nearer which was really important to us.

I was in need of a carpet replacement as soon as possible. The salesman was very nice. We got the carpet chosen and installed the next day. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. I recommend them. The installation was smooth. They cleaned up the room and move the furniture back into the room where I wanted it.

The installers was very very good and what they do. They clean and vacuum after themselves. Move some of the furniture back. Very good craftsmanship was done! NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! They call me in morning to tell me what time they were coming. And they was right on time you can't beat that! On that's what I call some service! Customer service call me throughout the week. Tell have what they was go to do! When their worker come to my house. You can't find floor people that good these days! But they stand behind they work & words!

The installers arrived early, before the expected time of 7:30 a.m., which was great. They worked all day, taking only a lunch break. They cleaned up once they finished the job. They were very knowledgeable about the product and answered all of my questions. After installing the floor they discussed the best way to keep the floors cleaned. One of the installers was very nice and professional. The other was professional but also a jokester.

They went over all the different type of tiles we could use, explained the texture and what happens when things drop on it. Showed us different colors that would go with our room and gave us a suggestion. Worked with our schedule of availability due to the Jewish holidays. Very professional.

On 8/7/24, my wife and I had National Floors Direct come to our home. After several hours we selected a floor, gave a deposit check of $3,117 and confirmed an installation of 8/30. On 8/9, I reached out to the sales rep (B. Frederick **) explaining that our plumber quoted an astronomical amount to remove and reinstall bathroom fixtures for the new floors and we would have to cancel.

If I could do a negative star I would. Salesman showed me a sample and what was delivered was totally different. It is MY fault because that’s what I ordered and now I have to pay a 15% restocking fee before another salesperson will come back to show me more samples. Buyer BEWARE!!!! They want all the money upfront before they even walk in the door. My mistake that should have been a huge red flag!!!!
