Noticed internal spotting between the panes of my front window glass. Call Milgard and the panes of glass were replaced without any hassle or issues. Great service, professionalism with no hassle. Very impressive. Field tech who replaced the panes was great to work with. Great representative for your company.

My experience was FRUSTRATING. The process was complicated by inaccurate assessment/ measuring by the technician who came in July. There was a communication problem and I hired scaffolding in October and November as well as January for installation. I am glad the job has been accomplished. My out of pocket expense of $1600 for the scaffold was three times higher because of communication problems and the failure to get accurate measurements in July. The team of technicians who completed my install was very good and I am pleased with the end result. Thank you.

This window had been replaced 10/28/19 and was badly scratched. Installers immediately put in order for new window. MUCH APPRECIATED. Second replacement window installed 12/2/2019. Seems to be fine but it is filthy and I continue to clean inside and out. Installers only spread the dirt/film around. Can’t imagine what is on this that makes it so difficult to get clean.

Leaking window. Technician was early for appointment. Very professional and courteous. Knowledgeable about product. Resolved problem very quickly, examined other windows for any other issues. Very satisfied with service!

I wish I had known that the process to repair our windows would be so easy and fabulous!!! I called set up an appointment and done!! The technician, Daniel was able to do the repair so quick! No questions asked about how long they were broken, just got it all taken care of! I definitely recommend using this company!!!

Excellent Warranty. Milgard windows have been excellent for 25 years and with new windows installed to replace the ones that failed - anticipate another 25 years. Thank you Milgard for your lifetime warranty. You rock.

We had new windows installed in the kitchen-unfortunately, after installation we discovered finger prints on the inner surface of the dual panes. We advised Milgard and the fabricated new panes and sent a person to install them. I took approximately one month, but when complete we were completely satisfied. Also the gentleman who did the install was extremely efficient and very professional-a pleasure to work with.

The repair person was punctual, repairing the handle and slider track in a timely manner. I had to work so my neighbor was there during the repair. The repair man gave me a courtesy call and told me about the repair that was done after he finished. I thought that was great customer service. He said to call him back if I had any questions.

Had a great experience with Milgard windows. I had one window that had a broken seal. The process was easy from calling in the problem and getting it scheduled. The repairman Sam was great, he was on time and very courteous.

The Millard team of 4 was awesome! We had a leak and it was not the window itself but the “weep hole” that was clogged. It was pouring rain and they were able to remove and replace it back quickly. They cleaned up around the edges and said we shouldn’t have the problem any longer. They we professional and friendly.

Replace window. The replacement man called 20 mins before arrival. Very courteous, personal but business goal. Pre measurements taken to make sure window would fit before he took it out. Was a stormy raining Washington day. Was here less then 25 mins. Very polite and needs to recognized for a job well done. (Name was Julio, I think.) Please look up. I recommend Milgard to all my friends and family.

Milgard employees were friendly and efficient in replacing broken windows at my home. However, they did not repair a broken tilt latch that I had pointed out to them and was part of the warranty work to be done at my house. Did not notice it until after techs had left. Now I have to reschedule..

The installer was very fast, polite, courteous and professional. The workmanship is good. However the installer left debris in the window tracks and surfaces within a foot surrounding the windows. Also, the windows were not cleaned nor have shipping adhesive removed from the window panes. I don’t know how to remove the adhesive so guess I won’t be having clean windows for a while (may wear off with routine cleaning?). The previous warranty services I have experienced (three prior) were 100% clean for the window panes although debris was left behind in every service. Maybe the installers could work on the debris situation better and clean the windows, completely, upon completion of the replacement. Thank you for the services you provide. I am still very grateful and appreciative. I would give this service 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Have a wonderful day!

Amazing fellows. Replaced several windows in a short time. I am surprised after all these years Milgard replaced them with no charge. If building again, I would definitely use Milgard. Thank you so much for your professionalism.

Repair difficult sliding glass door. Norm was so helpful. He explained and showed me the problem, replaced the track and wheels, and then went through our whole house (all Milgard) and made all the windows work so smoothly. He also explained the difference between different years of remodeling and their features. Thank you so much Norm and Milgard for your excellent and friendly work.

We built a weekend home several hundred miles from our primary residence and chose the Milgard Hermosa line of windows because they are designed specifically for the challenging Texas climate, as well as the Tuscany sliding doors to maximize the view. There were issues with both the doors and windows from the start - the doors were difficult to open/lock and many of the small support blocks on the sides of the awning windows fell out when we first opened them. Some windows also off-center operator arms that made it difficult to crank them.

Very helpful and easy process. Timely so far with response. We're done and waiting now on reimbursement. Responses and action usually has been well within timeframe given by customer service as part of process.

After 20 years, one of our crank-open Argon glass windows went speckly. The technician changed it out in fifteen minutes, and we are very happy with the result. Milgard's replacement policy has made our windows the best investment we could make in our home!

Glass Replacement. Customer service was very kind and accommodating. The guys that came out and replaced the windows were efficient, professional and performed the job in a very short time. Kudos to Milgard!!! I am a very happy customer.

We are very fortunate to have Saib who is conscientious about the quality of the work done by your company. He did a great job correcting the sloppy application of the caulking & smeared glass of our windows replaced by other employees a week earlier. His commitment to correcting the previous unacceptable work speaks volumes of his desire to satisfy your customers.

Only one concern. We did not know blinds needed to be removed until one day before installation day. More advanced communication would have been helpful. Service techs were great - polite and efficient.

Several windows had broken seals and were "rusting" between the two glass panes. The service people, including the phone calls to initiate the repair, were all extremely competent, efficient, professional, and very helpful and friendly! Unfortunately, the seal went bad and moisture leaked in between the panes. I called MilGard. They manufactured a replacement glass. It was installed today by a wonderful technician name Jim. The process worked perfectly. Jim was early for the appointment and did a wonderful job. Merry Christmas to everyone who made this experience an enjoyable one.

Two workers arrived promptly and in no time replaced two panes that had become fogged after 20 years in my kitchen. I would definitely recommend Milgard Windows, they look beautiful, just like the old windows, but no rotten wood and lifetime warranties!

Milgard replaced glass for Right/Non-operable panel of slider based on previous service visit for sliders not operating correctly; e.g. clunking, sticking or not closing. Replacement went smoothly. We are still waiting on Milgard feedback regarding our 5 sliders which require twice yearly service due to installation errors by Milgard. We and Milgard have documented the issues - see our file. When will these sliders be completely replaced?

Our timeframe for the appointment was between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Sam **, your glazier, arrived at 11:32 am. He was prompt, courteous, professional and represented your company very well. He took out the window panel and then replaced the glass; one of the grids inside the panel was slightly crooked but noticeable. Once he assembled the window panel, he cleaned the glass and brought it back to replace it. I really appreciate the professionalism and the service was provided; as well as how Milgard honored its Life-Time Warranty. Thank you for both the quality of your product and your service.

I purchased new Milgard windows for my entire house through Home Depot. The store display had ads and clear labels all over and the Milgard Sales Rep assured me that they had this great lifetime Warranty on my exact windows. All the metal started rusting immediately after install. After 25 calls to their Cust Serv dept they finally tell me that there is NO warranty for the entire state of Hawaii and the whole coastal area of CA, OR, and WA. No Warranty for most of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle! These people are liars and rip-offs. Beware! Their metal components are inferior and do not last. Do not believe their warranty labels.

Our Ultra sliding door came out warped so it wouldn't lock. It took 4 weeks to get someone out but the warranty tech who arrived was very diplomatic unlike the last 2 hostile techs we got. He fixed the door so it properly locks now.

The work was done very efficiently and rapidly. The men were very nice and friendly. They covered their shoes before coming in the house and they vacuumed after they were done. All together a very pleasant experience.

Our window seal was compromised causing mold to grow between the panes. Although it took time for Milgard to connect back with us after the initial contact, the representative who came to measure and then install the replacement windows was very professional. He arrived at the very beginning of the time period that was given. He was efficient and polite.

Robert called ahead and was right on time. He easily fixed the mortise latch on one of my Milgard sliding exterior doors. Fortunately, he had parts on his truck to fit the earlier design of my lock. The repair call didn't take long, as he knew exactly how to fix the broken latch mechanism. No mess. I am very pleased with his work.

Received a Milgard patio door and installed it. The hardware was incorrectly set in the factory and is cheap at best. After two hours of adjustment still not correct. I contacted Milgard and they insisted on charging me to come correct their errors. I also installed Milgard windows and the fit and action of them is mediocre at best. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Purchased 25 casement windows from Milgard. The windows are great however I had a problem with one that was hinged crooked from the factory and would not close. Called both the rep and Milgard. Both said that they would create a ticket and get it repaired. That never happened and when I called Milgard back about it they were very rude and asked how I got their number. I ended up fixing it myself. Also paid extra for oil rubbed bronze hardware and received some oil rubbed and some plastic. When confronted with this they simply sent me more plastic hardware with no concern or followup. I tried to leave a review on the Milgard website but they do not accept and negative reviews so beware of what you read on there. Bottom line is that the windows are great but the warranty and followup is non-existent.

Window under warranty and replaced. Three of my windows had their seals fail and the fourth window had a small rock go through it. Milgard replaced my windows promptly and without any issues. It was a quick and easy process.

Armando showed up promptly this morning and took about 40 minutes to remove damaged panes and replace with new. He was polite, courteous, efficient. There had been a previous appointment on Nov. 22, which couldn't be fulfilled, because there was a warehouse mix-up. I am glad that the job cold be done this time. It is great that there are still a few companies around which have integrity and stand by their products! Thank you.

Arrived on time--8 a.m.. as scheduled. Will was friendly but highly professional. Two other men arrived and the job was completed very quickly. After the job was finished Will asked me to come out and inspect the job. Looks great. He explained that you do not install the old style skylights and the replacement have a 10 year warranty. He said if any problem just call. Excellent service. Very pleased.

Replaced skylight window. Was better service (quicker) in the past 20 yrs. It's taken 2 months to get the window. It would have been a good idea to remove the label! It does show from the ground. Luckily it doesn't face the street. Maybe it'll disappear in time.

Submitted service request online opened case on July 8, 2019. September 30 was told window on still on backorder. Finally got an installation date of December 6. Five months waiting was disappointing. But besides that, the installation of the new window was awesome. Two wonderful gentlemen arrive and completed the job within 30 minutes. They even cleaned the window spotless.

What a miserable experience with this company! We are the second owners of this house and needed windows replaced. Our neighbors who were 2nd owners had 10 windows replaced by the same company and all of theirs were covered and they were out of warranty time as well. Our claim was on July 5th and Milgard says our policy expired 7/19 and they will not cover the window. What an unethical business practice!

The whole experience has been painless. I needed a faulty window replaced. Andrew came out first but I had not measured correctly, so a return trip was needed. I was kept in the loop the whole time. Favian came yesterday and replaced the window. Both installers were on time, extremely polite and knowledgeable and personable. It has been a pleasure working with you. Thank you!!!

The last two houses I built I put in Milgard windows. They are a quality product and Milgard stands behind their warranty, and I am building another house next year and will definitely use Milgard again.

Thank you. The service guy was running early, which was great for us. Came with the replacement window needed, and also showed me why some of our windows were hard to open. He was in/out in record time. I'm sure it took him longer to drive to us than the repair time.

The man who replaced my window did a good job. He was on time, helpful and courteous. I cannot say the same for the customer service personnel. This always entailed a long and often fruitless wait. Although the window clearly states it is Milgard, they wouldn't consider my problem unless I found the number they wanted. This was impossible for me to read (I'm 70 years old) to which they were unsympathetic.

The guy who brought me the new replacement screen door for one of my patio doors was really good at what he did. I think his name was Ramone. He was great but I still am having a problem with the other patio doors I purchased in July. There is a paint problem that I have tried to address since they were installed in August. I have sent pictures to Milgard and other service people from your company have also. NOTHING IS BEING DONE! I need to have the painter come and paint the doors that were not painted right at the factory.

I was very pleased with the prompt reply to have someone come out and help me because I wasn't able to find the glass #. Milgard was able to look up the original number, and sent someone out with the glass. He installed it in a very few minutes, and I didn't even need to sign anything.

Tech showed up 10 minutes before scheduled time. Was very professional. Answered my questions and took the time to show me how to remove the windows for cleaning. I could not ask for a better experience.

Although every other window in our house is from Milgard, it turned out that the window that was the subject of this order was made by Viking Windows. While we appreciate that Milgard always provides good service on its windows, and made two trips to our home, it could have saved all of us some trouble if the repairman had been able to recognize that the window was not a Milgard product on the first visit.

The emails telling me when and time of service were very helpful. Service technician was right on time, was very courteous, and completed replacing the 5 panes without any problems or mess. Service was exceptional overall.

Everything went perfectly... from the time a Milgard representative came to look at my windows... to the installation of my new glass! We are extremely pleased with our Milgard service. They do, indeed, honor their promises! Our experience with Milgard has been FIRST CLASS! We will always consider their windows whenever needed in the future. Ramon provided excellent customer care. He was on time, courteous, and fixed the issues with both of my windows. He answered all of my questions and let me know how to properly care for my windows. I was very impressed with his kindness and professionalism.

Replacement of Defective Window. The only problem that I had with this project was that no one ever called me and let me know what the two hour window of service would be. I got a call from the men who were installing the window ten minutes before they arrived. They did a fast and professional job and were very neat.

Window exchange for leaky seal. I had to reschedule the original appointment because it was sent to my contractor (not me, the homeowner) so I wasn’t home. The scheduling was onerous- long hold on the phone, transferred several times. At that time, I made sure my phone # to be on the record to prevent the same mistake. Was told I’d get a call 2 business days before to confirm. Never got the call so I called before 5pm to make sure. Another long hold. I also gave my office land line #. Was told I would get a call 30mins before the appointment time on the day of. Never got the call. I had a bad feeling so headed to my house anyway only to find the 2 gentlemen parked & waiting for me. Not sure how long they were there but they were very pleasant. Asked why they didn’t call & was told they called (my contractor’s #). They were great but the scheduling process & the promises made to the customer are horrid.

We had Milgard Low-E, lifetime warranty windows installed throughout our house in 2006. Recently, we noticed that 3 of those windows had fogged. Today, two Milgard installer/repairmen installed the 3 replacement panes as well as replacing the rollers on one of the sliding panes. They were efficient, clean, and polite. Thank you.

I have had double pane windows replaced three times in the fifteen years I've lived in my home. I have always had excellent and professional service with making my appointments and service with replacing the damaged windows. Best of all, is the lifetime warranty. Thank you Milgard!

I've been in communications with Milgard since July to get these failed windows replaced. They were finally replaced, with the exception of one additional one that will also need replacement, yesterday 11-19-19. Leo, my service gentleman who did the replacement, was great!! Fast, efficient, clean, friendly, respectful. A true professional. I give him 5 stars! Hope these windows last longer than the last ones, which began failing, one by one, a few years after installation. Below are my overall evaluations of the replacement request "process", which has taken 4 months--longer than it should have, although apologies were made to me along the way for "the ball being dropped".

I have had several windows replaced in the past and I like the fact that I can request a replacement online. The installer that came, Alex, was very professional and arrived when he said he would. He was very quick and efficient.

Three of the windows installed in a 2004 remodel began to show powdering on the interior film and were deemed defective in 2019. Milgard replaced them in short order with zero hassle. Their worker got the defective glass replaced in about an hour with no mess. Not every product can be perfect. Was dealt with quickly and professionally.

Great customer service starting from Lisa and ending with service person Tom. I requested a time change on appt. and Lisa made change and contacted me the same day and approved request. Milgard keep up the good work. We are buying new home in Lodi built by FCB and glad to see we will have Milgard windows

Service for the lockset on the french doors. The service tech was great, on time and tried to do what was possible. The lockset is still a little sticky but at least works. The primary concern was how long it took to get a response to my online request for service. I waited about a week to 10 days to hear but had to call the service center to get someone to provide me with some help. The online service needs some attention.

We had 6 windows that went bad. We called Milgard, gave them the information. They gave us a date to come out and replace them. They showed up when they were supposed to and took care of it. Very pleased with them!!!

While I had to wait longer than I would have liked to get the appointment in the first place, the technicians were very friendly and helpful, and stayed until they got my very stuck door completely unstuck and good as new again.

We moved into our new house last Christmas and I had our windows cleaned in August. The window cleaner said he saw some marks on one of the windows that he thought was a flaw in the glass. Service call revealed that to be incorrect and the marks in question were removed by the technician. Super nice guy.

Hector arrived on time as promised and called 15 minutes in advance to tell me he was on his way. He repaired my window perfectly. I rate the repair work a 5 but would not rank your Customer Service well because it is almost impossible to reach someone by phone at Milgard and my two email requests for service from your website were ignored for weeks.

The technician that came out today was the 3rd person to try to fix my 3 newly installed windows, as was the same for two other residents in the same condominium. The new windows would not open properly, and when they did it was super difficult. They're finally working as expected. I was not here to speak with him, but a neighbor said he was extremely knowledgeable. Obviously!! Thanks -.

Our slider was making a loud scraping noise when opened, especially in hot weather. It was very difficult to open. The technician was courteous and helpful. He showed me how to take care of the problem in the future.

Called a couple months ago about a suspected bad window. Milgard promptly sent a representative to check and he agreed. A new window was ordered. Milgard sent a crew to replace the window within a very reasonable time. The crew were polite, professional and prompt. (I'm building a new house and am ordering Milgard windows for that house too)! Outstanding product, service and employees. Have dealt with Milgard for 20 years now. Outstanding.

The technician was efficient, friendly and asked if there were any other windows that needed his attention after he fixed the window we needed help with. He even proactively replaced the same parts on the window that was mullioned to the one that was faulty in case the parts were similarly affected. Nice work!

There were patterns appearing between our glass panels....well 4 of them. Milgard had some computer issues which delayed scheduling, but it was scheduled easily after the systems were up. The technician was on time for the assessment and provided a courtesy call 15 mins before arriving, same for the glass replacement. Thanks Milgard!

We purchased all the windows in our home so long ago. At the time I appreciated the windows so much! As the years went by a few of them became foggy and some we couldn't even see out of anymore. Upon call Milgard I found (much to my delight!!!) out that we had purchased a product with lifetime warranty! All it took was a phone call and you made it happen. Simple. No hassles or justifications. Now…. as my new windows went in... I appreciate Milgard!

Your repair tech was fantastic...on time and efficient! Your website, for service request is misleading. I waited considerable time for any follow-up. After not receiving any follow-up, I then called various Milgard phone numbers to then initiate an appointment. Otherwise, great product and great service!

This was a super easy process. I just emailed Milgard. I emailed them on 8/1 and they responded they were really busy, but we did get all the information worked out. The technician came right away after that on 11/7 and had the correct glass size and switched out the glass. The technician was very nice and professional. He wasn't even here an hour. The window looks fabulous! It was worth the wait and they stood by their guarantee. I couldn't be more pleased!

Outstanding customer service. The two service providers were wonderful. They tackled the work with precision and excellent attention to details. Our house had settled and they worked very hard to get the slider to run smoothly. They were polite and courteous as well. 5 star all the way.

Day of installation went smoothly. They called for directions and arrived on time. It was tricky for them to work on one second story window as the metal roof is steep and slippery. Only dissatisfaction was in scheduling the replacement. I did not receive a call back or response to email. After waiting over a month I had to call again. I did get good service at that point.

We had a broken seal. I contacted Milgard. We are the 2nd owner of home but were covered under 10 year warranty. The first time they sent the tech with the wrong size window. We needed to reschedule for the following month. He was in and out in about 15 mins.

Great service on their Lifetime Warranty program. Had the windows for 14 years and have gone to great lengths to take good care of them. Recently noticed a film between panes of 2 different windows. Called and was quickly channeled to local contractors which gave prompt, professional service to replace them.

Slider and screen adjustments. Mr. Nick ** was professional and knowledgeable. We can't thank him enough. We just were so frustrated, and now we feel confident to go ahead and purchase another set of doors and windows for our upstairs room.

Happy with repair of window in exterior door where seal had gone bad. Had corrosion of outside door handle and within a week, we received a replacement of a no longer available part that must have been found in warehouse. Very appreciative of extra service!

SLIDING DOORS LOCKS DID NOT LOCK. The guys showed up at 8:15am and fixed the 2 sliding doors and were in and out in less than 20 minutes. Showed up on time and explained what they had done and any future issues I may have with one of the doors.

This trip was for a window replacement. The Tech was very professional, performed his task and was done. It took Migard some time to respond to my request. When you did you were on top of this. Thank you for that.

We had 4 failed windows that needed to be replaced. The online process was not easy for non computer savvy person. Once we got to a real ;person on the phone things went better. Once scheduled for window replacement everything went very well. Installer arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. Good job.

Milgard used to be present in IL so they would send people out to fix my window. Now the process is taking long time... I have to open up a ticket with Milgard then call other local window companies to come provide me an estimate, go back to Milgard for approval, pay it myself, submit the invoice, wait 6-8 weeks for payment! So it's getting very inconvenient.

The technician was at my house for 15 minutes. In that time, he recognized the problem, the fact that Milgard had sent out the wrong parts (not their fault), got the right parts, and fixed the problem. Courteous, friendly, knowledgable, and professional. What more could you ask? Thanks!

Utilizing my Lifetime Warranty, I needed my sliding door fixed right away as I had a party coming up. They found me an appt before the party, confirmed it, called that they were running early, came, fixed it in 15 mins, were clean and courteous, and now my door works before my party!! Outstanding service!!!

The to two workman that came to replace the scratched window were early (after calling to verify that was ok). They were very courteous and considerate of the flooring and surrounding areas. I had sent an email to the dispatcher prior to the install day that the Windows Only workman needed to rent a lift to install the windows. This either didn't get passed on or was ignored. It took the two workman 3-45 minutes to figure out a way to replace the window safely. And safely is a relative term. They finished quickly after figuring out their approach and cleaned up the worksite when done. My issue is why was a scratched window delivered or installed scratched in the first place?

Milgard (West Linn, OR) has been great since leaving a phone message on 10/24. I originally contacted Wood Windows Inc (Boise) on 9/24, when they told me "we will fill out a service ticket and Milgard will call to set up." It took a month to get the phone call, but Milgard responded very quickly when I call this morning (10/18).

Window replacement. The gentleman had a smile when I opened the door. He was very friendly. He was efficient and got the job done quickly. He did an excellent job. I am very happy with his service and the new window!! Thanks!

The service is wonderful: he fixed my 3 windows by adjusting the window components time by time. He is also very patient with explaining with me why it did not work previously. The whole process only took me 40 minutes. I did not know his name but I want to say a big thank you to him!

The window repairs were highly satisfactory. The process of arranging the date and time was, however, quite cumbersome. Milgard representative would only offer Wednesdays initially. After much discussion and pleading they agreed to Saturday which is much more convenient for most customers.

I had to have a bathroom window replaced. A service person was sent out initially to measure and verify the window number. However, when another service person came out a couple of months later the he found that what he had was not what was needed so it had to be ordered again along with a two month wait. Finally the window replacement was installed and I am satisfied with the replacement and the work of the service person.

It took more than 5 months and several emails and a phone call for our windows to be replaced. I learned about the need for the numbers printed inside the window the hard way. I originally requested 4 windows to be replaced. They replaced 3, and the installers said the last window wasn't the correct one, so they put in the order for me. In the meantime, I saw 2 more windows that needed replacement and put in another order. I got a phone call and email setting up a time to replace the original window, and Milgard added the 2 new windows to that order. I now have 6 windows replaced and am very thankful that Milgard honors this wonderful replacement policy. The installers were great.

Good response and detailed order information was taken by main office. Repair date was 3 months out for the house call. Since it was out so far would have liked a call from Milgard a couple of weeks before. I called 4 days before date and was told they would call a couple days before coming. The tech was polite, and did work well and quickly. Very happy with the front office and tech.

Your technicians are professional, clean, pleasant & polite. Your phone contact is awful! Waited 40 minutes & finally hung up. Left a callback number & no one returned my request. I requested any day but Thursday- what day was I given- Thursday (twice). I’m grateful the windows have a lifetime warranty!

Warranty installation of fixed patio glass panel. The installation services went very well. Our installer was very personable and efficient and his work. Very happy with the results.

I purchased Milgard windows when we remodeled our house - a total of 11 windows/doors. 2 of the windows had a failure and there is crystallization between the panes. I contacted for warranty service and had to wait 2 months for a service guy to come just to tell me he had the wrong glass. He said he would reorder and reschedule. 1 more month and no contact. I contacted Milgard again, and they scheduled service for 2 months out again. When the service day came, the service guy called and said they didn't book a 2 person crew and it would require 2 people due to the size of the glass. Again he said they would reschedule and contact me.

My service agent was excellent. On top of being here ahead of schedule, he also worked very quickly. But most importantly, he went above and beyond repairing a second window that was not part of the initial request much to my delight. I am extremely thankful for his work!

Milgard is the best company I have worked with. Their warranty means something, their techs and phone service are friendly and efficient, the product is unbeatable and the whole experience from order to installation is with ease and confidence. A real joy to work with when everybody else is hiding behind their phone. Aloha to you all, keep it up.

Warranty work. My contractor installed 5 new Milgard windows. One of the windows had a crack in the glass. Milgard replaced the window without question. Installer were on time and professional. Extremely satisfied.

Window replacement. The service person called ahead of time and let me when he would arrive. He was friendly, removed his shoes before entering the home, quickly did the repair and neatly and let me know that I should call back if there were any problems though he expected that everything was taken care of properly.

Thank you for repainting my Milgard vinyl window trim. It is now a rich brown, again. I am sorry you had so much trouble with the color formulation for these wonderful windows. You had to repaint twice. Hopefully it will now last my lifetime. Both crews were good. The first crew seemed more organized and worked more quickly, but the second crew was responsive and worked hard. They had difficulty with the ridiculously tight fit of your screens. Your head maintenance person said Milgard screens are made to fit that way. Seems strange to me. But your windows and warranty service are superb.

The repair person who did warranty work this week was very thorough and explained all that needed to be done to keep the cracked windows operating. He did more work that was originally called for when we realized that many of the other windows had sun-cracked parts that could be replaced easily.

Took long time to get response to original ask. Once contacted it was hard to get thru on phone to confirm details (appt time, right size glass, etc). In end, service guys showed (Tom) up on time and nailed replacement.

Great service. A new sliding glass door was put in late this summer. Had a few problems. Milgard Window made an appt. to come and repair. They we on time, and got the problem fixed in short order. Very pleased with my new door.

Milgard service reps have for 12 years delayed and avoided fixing the balancing hardware for my window, until today. Valentine was proactive, and committed to a solution that worked and now I can open my window without throwing out my back. All other reps just oiled the window, and shrugged, and left me with a window I avoided using. For 12 years. Hire more service people like Valentine.

The technicians arrived during the time designated. They quickly assessed the situation and got busy making the needed repairs. They were friendly and courteous and were in and out in about 20 minutes. The patio doors now work like new!

The reps went above the call when they had to remove the glass from the door in order to get the frame out of the track because the house had settled over time. They came fully equipped and were able to solve the problem and reseat the glass pane. They also tightened the handle more with an impact screwdriver and move the catch on the frame to deal with the settling. Both men were polite and knowledgeable, that's why Milgard is so good to deal with!!

Your technician was on time and efficient with his time. He is very polite and courteous of my home. I am a big Milgard fan because of your replacement policy and I find them to be attractive windows. I always recommend your windows to friends who are upgrading their homes!

I am getting conflicting answers on whether my failed windows are under warranty. Milgard customer service and independent sales agents have told me that the warranty doesn't apply to the second owner. I have seen online that Milgard states that the warranty will transfer if the sale of the home is less than 10 years from the install date. If that is true then my windows should be under warranty. How can I get a straight answer??? I have 30+ windows that have failed since the house was 8 years old when I bought it. I would contend Milgard has in inferior product and doesn't back that product with a reasonable warranty. They don't seem to want to make this right. Be wary of investing in Milgard windows.

Very Happy with the customer service and also the service at Milgard. I had a damaged window and one call found out it was covered and it would be replaced. With a 2 hour window the service man showed up early!! What!!! Window was in cleaned and he offered to fix any other issues. I’m very impressed, customer service is still alive. I should know I worked for Nordstrom for many years and it was fantastic to see this kind of service!

The assigned repairman was very courteous and professional. He also understood my needs and expectations very accurately. He is also great to work with. Milgard made a wonderful choice assigning this courteous and professional repairman to handle my window repairs under Milgard's warranty program. It puts new faith in me towards considering Milgard for future business when the opportunity comes.

We're doing a remodel on our downstairs and decided to replace the kitchen window and laundry room window. The windows looked great in the showroom but once they were brought home the quality was disappointing. There are gaps in the corners where the glass is, the small window in the laundry room doesn't slide smoothly and is loose, and all the edges on the lips of the windows look like they were cut out with a table knife, they're rough and not smooth. We waited for over a month for them to come in and didn't want to wait another month so they've been installed. When we decide to replace all our windows I definitely won't be looking here.

Main office called 2 days prior of appointment with a time frame for repairs. On day of repair Mark called with an arrival time estimate. Upon arrival, he quickly replaced the lock. I really appreciated the calls and Mark was very professional and efficient replacing the lock.

One of our Milgard windows had become streaked between the two panes. I called Milgard and had no problem scheduling a replacement. The window was replaced on the day that was scheduled. They came in the window of time that had been emailed to me. The two men who replaced the window were professional, friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the service from my first phone call to the installation.

Technician was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly, as your people always are. But why does it always take months to get someone out to my house for a 15-minute visit? This has happened every time I have needed a simple repair or replacement. Very frustrating.

Expected better. But happy with outcome. I ordered my sliding glass door mid August. The original door came in damaged. A few weeks later the next door came in and was installed, only to find out this one was damaged, a hole in the screen, a loose door handle and scratches all over the door and screen. Not to mention the screen door wouldn’t stay on the tracks. A new one was ordered that day, but was further delayed when there was an apparent programming error. I wasn’t notified my door wasn’t ready until an hour prior to the time the door repairman was supposed to arrive, which I had taken a day off work for.

The repairman called saying he had a cancellation and therefore could come to my job early. I very much appreciated that (versus waiting for the 2 hour window). He was clean, polite and fixed the window within minutes! I'm very pleased.

Technician arrived on scheduled date, was polite and worked quickly to take care of the issues. Excellent experience from the technician. However, communication via email with customer support was disappointing. Usually, it took several days for a reply to my email. Email replies are typically submitted same day or within 24 hours.

Skylights are under lifetime warranty so that has been a savior as all 7 have been replaced at least twice in the 20 years they’ve been in and a few have been replaced three times. Milgard has always honored the warranty and replaces leaking units when notified. Drawback is it takes about 3 weeks to get a unit replaced, not great in the Pacific NW where we get lotsa rain.

Hopefully we won’t experience the same problem with the replacement. But want report the gentleman who installed was so professional, clean, and organized. Very pleased with him. Good representation for your company.

The service techs called when they were on their way, showed up on time and replaced a window that had failed. They used shoe covers to protect our carpeting, removed the failed window and replaced it within an hour. Both men were courteous and professional. I was very satisfied.

This is an ongoing problem for us on this 2 year old door. The serviceman today said it is faulty installation. This is his second time coming to our home to fix this. He was very courteous and professional and was able to adjust the door for now. I don’t expect it to be a permanent solution though.

We had seven windows replaced today (10-4-19) at our house at **, San Diego, CA 92129. The worker arrived about 15 minutes earlier than the projected two-hour time slot we were given and was very courteous and efficient. He replaced the windows in about 90 minutes.

I Purchased and had a sliding glass door put in the day of installation we noticed a small crack on the glass. They promptly came out within two weeks but it’s a new piece of glass and fix the air. I appreciate how Milgard handled the whole situation, was prompt on getting everything taken care of and the nice gentleman that came out was simply amazing.

Our patio slider had become increasing harder to open and close. The technicians were able to recognize the problem and repair what was needed. They were very polite and knowledgeable. We are very happy with the results.

I had four window panes replaced due to some streaking inside the panes. The crew was on-time, performed the replacement in less than an hour and even fixed some loose screens on the windows. Bobby was on time, professional and very speedy with the repairs. He explained how the windows work (double hung) and helped me understand why they weren't locking. I am very happy with my experience with Milgard service. They responded quickly and very professionally.

Daniel was the service person who went to my mothers at **. I talked to him just before he got there and asked him to adjust some other doors and windows, he said if he had time. My mother loved him. She said he was very polite and patient and was able to adjust what needed to be. Thank you, Jim.

He arrived before scheduled time but called before to make sure it was ok. He replaced window within minutes and was done. I am dissatisfied with how long it took to schedule appt. 3 months before they came out.

I would like to say the guys that came to do my service call today were friendly, professional, neat and actually early! This was the best service call from ANYBODY I have had to do work at my house. They called to tell me they were on the way, answered questions and went over-and-above to fix balancers in a window that just broke last week. Great service team!!! Though there was a wait for service availability, when the day came, workers were prompt, informative, and handled themselves professionally and attended to the matter at hand promptly and efficiently.

Crew arrived promptly and went to work. We thought it was one obvious pane to be replaced but a second one was also replaced because your technician had noticed it from the outside and hadn't mentioned it. (The window is usually shielded from the street with blinds). I certainly wouldn't have ignored it had I had seen it during his inspection. Excellent experience.

Only disappointment was the time it took to have a service rep come by to help us for something that should’ve been factory tested (retractable screens did not work properly on any door AND no latches for the screens were installed). Lastly, Gregg didn’t have the one replacement handle for the one we told Milgard was damaged. Gregg was excellent in helping us service the doors.

The installer was great and his workmanship was great also. I didn't like the initial call and appt setup. I had a problem finding my order number and the Milgard rep. keeps telling me it's in between the pane. I looked everywhere and it's not there. In fact, most of my windows don't have the order number. Luckily I was able to find the order number from a sticker on my sliding door. If it wasn't for that, I would have been out of luck. Don't emphasize on the order number stamped between the window pane because it's not here.

I had 5 seals go out on our Milgard Windows. They came out and did and inspection, took measurements and ordered new windows. Once windows available they scheduled an installation. All correspondence was professional and efficient. Xavier was the tech both times and he did a wonderful job. He was knowledgeable, polite, friendly and efficient.

I just bought a home 2 weeks ago that was build in 2008. I noticed that 12 windows looked "hazy" so I had a window cleaner come out to clean them. The window cleaner informed me that the issue was in between the panes & could not be cleaned. I contacted Milgard who informed me that their "lifetime warranty" did not transfer to me once I purchased the home. These windows are only 11 years old and the company would not stand behind their product. They referred me to two glass companies who could come out and replace the glass at my expense. They explained that once the home is sold to a new owner, there is only a 10-year warranty. These windows are 11-years old, and they would not stand behind their product. I live in Colorado with beautiful views & am sad that my view is obstructed by "hazy" windows.

I've been extremely frustrated with Milgard. Recently, I have become aware of water intrusion in my exterior wall. I submitted a warranty request. After several weeks I finally received a service call. After performing a "track test" the service rep determined the window was not to blame. I engaged a contractor to do further testing and, indeed, the window is failing. I have repeatedly tried to follow up with Milgard to get another service rep to visit my house so I can show them what we have found. I spend hours on hold waiting to speak to someone. But, I always tire and drop off the line. Currently I've been on hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Milgard is about to win again! The lifetime warranty is great. The problem is getting Milgard to schedule a service call.

The 2 men who came immediately got to work. Very efficient and they worked well as a team. They were friendly and informative. Very step, beginning with my initial call was handled professionally. Milgard is the way to go! We’re happy customers.

Replace seals. The workers were on time and worked diligently. The only issue worth mentioning was the clean up. There were small amounts of old seal on the floor and outside. Unfortunately, some of the pieces were like stepped on gum.

Called to ask if he could come earlier which I greatly appreciated. Only downside was how far out they were scheduling service calls. Work was done quickly and efficiently and when Milgard says “Lifetime warranty” they mean it! Been almost 30 years and no questions asked they come and replace them!

Sam was the ideal service guy! Did a perfect job. Highly recommend him and Milgard, too. The folks I worked with on the phone were all so accommodating. Shawn, the fellow who did our install of windows earlier this year, was also spot on. Milgard has customer service down, and we couldn't be happier with our windows and the company.
