Several of the seals of our windows, installed in 2008, were broken and we had foggy windows. Bryan and Mikey arrived on time, got the windows replaced, were very polite and friendly. They are good representatives for Milgard.

It was an easy fix. Your Milgard service tech arrived within the scheduled window, with a smile, and a handshake. Said hi to our three dogs and got to work. He was done in less than a half an hour with no problems. He explained the reason, the trim had malfunctioned and made the appropriate adjustments to the new one so it wouldn't happen again. Great job!

Milgard replaced the stationary section of our sliding glass door that had lost its seal after 8 years. From the first phone call to the moment the window was installed, every person we dealt with was efficient, timely and professional. They stood by their product and the lifetime warranty. Didn’t cost us a penny! We are very happy with the Milgard company to say the least. I think of them now as my Milgardians! Thank you so much!

Replace large bay window in kitchen. Your employee was great. He replaced the window quickly and came on time. The email said the time would be 8-10 in the morning and he came at 8:15 which was perfect. He did a great job.

I have had Milgard windows for 29 years. The windows with southern exposure have been replaced several times due to condensation between the glass panels. Milgard has always replaced the failed windows free of charge. My only issue is that it usually takes up to three months to get the windows replaced. Other than that, the service has been excellent.

The 2 technicians who came on 4/18 were on time, quick and took care of all our concerns. I was very happy with the outcome of the work they did. Great job! I would love to have the same technicians if we have any other warranty work to be performed.

I am very impressed with Milgard Service and would highly recommend their windows. Your customer service contacted me the day I spoke to the company that I bought the windows from reporting the problem with condensation in one of my windows and said I would be contacted with a date for the replacement. The next day I received a date. Their installers were good at contacting me confirming the date & time frame. They were at my house within that time frame and very quickly had the new glass installed. Extremely satisfied with my experience with Milgard.

Very happy with the service call. Professional fellow who really knew his stuff. During the visit, the Milgard tech. identified a few Milgard windows with bad "glazing bead" (what he called it). He told me to contact you to find out if it was under warranty. In some cases it's lifting away from the window and in others it has shifted downward, so there's a gap at the top. I can send pictures if they would help.

It took months to get a repairman out but he was very efficient and friendly when he got here. They ordered the wrong glass so had to reschedule for weeks later, I was not in a hurry but it was too long a wait to give Milgard customer service five stars. Product is great, love the windows.

So sorry to hear there was a delay in your warranty service. Very glad to hear that your technician was great and that you are all set now. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Service on April 16 was excellent. Guys were on time and did an really good job. My only complaint was that your service person came to measure for the window on December 20, 2018 and the window didn't get replaced until 4 months later. I've had my windows for 20 years and in the past when I have called for service, you have been able to replace the windows within 6 weeks.

Warranty window replacement install. Both install workers were excellent - courteous, friendly, and quickly replaced the damaged window. They were running a little late and called me to inform me they would be a few minutes later than scheduled. Great Service!

Pleased the repair staff showed up on time and very professional. They were here for over an hour. I just hope the rubber stays on. It is very frustrating when the new 1 year old window rubber on many starts peeling away and hanging. It should not be that way. However thank you for sending staff out to correct and hopefully remedy the problem!

We called for service to one window purchased back in July 2009, the window replacement was ordered, a service appointment made, and the service person showed up exactly on time. He performed the replacement fast and efficiently, and was on his way in about 15 minutes... such a nice job and company!

It took longer than I would have liked to get an appointment. The men who performed the service were great. They came on time, were friendly, skilled and worked quickly. They even went above & beyond the minimum and serviced all 3 of my doors.

Had a thermopane window that apparently had a seal leak as moisture would build up in it overnight in cool weather. Our technician called before he came, was able to get here early, was very friendly & efficient. He called to check if it was ok to come early. The amount of time that elapsed from the time of his call until he was finished & left our house was only 25 minutes! That is very efficient. He cleaned up after he was finished. Great service!!
I do want to mention that when we called your office to schedule getting the window replaced, the girl answering the call really tried to talk us out of needing a replacement. She tried to convince us over & over that there was no problem. We are the original owner of this house. We were persistent & refused to buy into her idea that a window that had no problems for 16 years but was now accummulating moisture in the thermopane was just fine. She kept repeating that it was just fine. We really felt that she believed it was her job to convince us not to replace because the windows are under warranty for free replacement. Is this what they are taught to do?? Not impressed!!

We are extremely pleased with the whole process for getting our window fixed, from making the appt, they the window being replaced. The technician came out and was very professional and very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what to do and did a great job. We had an Appt for 4/15/19 between 2 and 4 pm.

Jeff ** was super helpful and a real professional. He not only fixed all the issues with my window and french door, he explained how the door lock works. When the door was installed, installers never explained us how the lock worked and for almost 15 months we were not aware of primary locking mechanism! Jeff explained how it is supposed to work and made it very easy to function! Thanks Jeff!

Very pleased with the installer. Disappointed in the process of having the claim remedied. Filed claim online as directed. Waited a few weeks without being contacted. Once I made contact with a real person, it seemed there was some confusion and I had to recreate the details of the claim filed online. After being given a date for the work to be done, I was told that I would be contacted the day before with a window of time for the work. That did not happen.

I was very happy with your installer. He was very professional and had the window replaced in a very short time. Very impressed with the way he put a drop cloth on the floor and took measurements to make sure he had the proper size window before he brought the replacement window in.

While It sucks that the windows had a defect - it is great that the service person can come out and replace them under warranty. The process to do this was extremely easy and I had absolutely no issues. Loved the service man.

One of our new Milgard windows had water infiltration between the panes of glass. Called and reported it. Without hassle, the window was replaced in a reasonably prompt manner by two young fellows who were very professional. The service was simply excellent. Thank You.

I had a very pleasant experience with the service I received today on my sliding door. The two workers were clean and pleasant, made sure my screen was adjusted correctly and installed the missing bracket for the lock.

My French door handle and locking mechanism had been broken for a year and 4 months. I am happy to say they were finally fixed today! I am only giving 2 stars for customer service due to the length of time taken to repair the doors. But the repair guys who visited all get 5 stars. It was a bummer to not have use of the doors for over a year. But I am so grateful that they were repaired. Thank you for finally fixing the doors! I am excited to be able to open them and enjoy my back yard this spring.

We just replaced the windows a year ago. We found out that there was leaking water coming from the windows. We called the service and when the service worker named “Oscar” came, he checked and found there were gaps in the window meaning there was leaking water. He said he would return the next day to seal the leak on the window. The next day I waited for him to arrive the whole day but he didn’t even show up. I decided to call the service dept. and in the afternoon I told them my situation. I was on the call for almost 2 hours. The customer service and the manager tried to get hold of the this service worker “Oscar”.
However, he disappeared for a whole day and no one could get a hold of him. The very next day he came back to the office and apparently told a different story, that it was all a misunderstanding between me and him. Then he told us that our contractor didn’t install the window properly. I have several videos on hand to prove that the window had problems. I felt that this guy “Oscar” was messing with me and I was furious with him with all his lying. I just wondering does Milgard offer lifetime warranty. It looks they don’t want to offer warranty if the service worker did such a poor job with all his lying.

I'm so sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. This should not have happened. I will find your service ticket and ask the team to call you with your next appointment date. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can get this resolved.

Called Milgard regarding vapor/moisture between the panes. Customer service quickly found the initial installation, verified my dimensions, scheduled a replacement window and installation with no charge to me. 3 technicians came on schedule and replaced the window very quickly and professionally. My wife and I are very satisfied with the Milgard quality, service and warranty. Bravo Zulu (Navy term for a job well done).

Milgard replaced 13 window panes in our house. The windows were 10 years old, and purple was showing inside the panes indicating a seal failure. I confused things over the phone, so the first time they came out they found out they didn't have the correct replacements. 10 minutes later they were gone with the correct measurements. I was not home when they replaced the windows in two separate days (1 month between). I left a key out, and the only way we knew someone had been here was by looking at our beautiful, new windows. We are now Milgard customers for life.

The two workmen replaced the side window on one of our sliding glass doors. They were able to come earlier than planned which worked out better for me. They were done in about 30 minutes, no mess, no problems.

On our ten year-old house, two guys came out and quickly replaced three insulated glass panels that had leaking seals (moisture in between the panes) and they replaced all the dry, broken weather stripping around all of the operable windows. They were quick, polite and complete with their work.

We had 2 windows that had lost their seals. I called Milgard and they scheduled a repair day. A rep. called me the day before with expected time of the repairman and he arrived at the start of the 2 hr. window, so I did not have to wait around all day. I have had these windows over 20 years and they still look good. I am so happy they could be repaired so easily and for free. From the phone rep. to the repairman everyone was courteous and professional. I would recommend Milgard to anyone.

Bridgetown Door and Window company replaced the old slider and asked Milgard to come and assess the set-up and make any necessary adjustments. A really nice man arrived on time and quickly made slight adjustments and helped fix a safety feature of the door. He made sure that I understood how to use all the features before he departed.

Once I got the appointment every was efficient and professional. The service technician was friendly and very helpful. But the appointment setting is less than efficient! I did it online and then waited for weeks. I finally made phone contact (again not easy) after a few weeks. I had to start over again! The online process was a complete waste of time.

Door rollers were shot. Techs came and were respectful and removed the door, showed me the rollers, replaced them, the roller track and even a partially broken lock mechanism. They wore booties in the house and were very fast and efficient, spending about 30 minutes to complete the work. My wife doesn't think the door has ever rolled as smoothly. I'm very happy!

All of a sudden this year I noticed that several of my windows had started exhibiting "silvering" and discoloration. I called Milgard Service, and they were extremely helpful in setting up an appointment, and helping me locate the number. Once the new windows were ready an appointment was set for delivery and installation. The service people were always courteous, on time, and very pleasant to work with. Very happy with the service and warranty. Now, if we could only extend that to the window screens I would be an extremely satisfied customer!

I had some living room windows that had failed and needed replacing. I was very happy with the service I received. The appointment was made, I got a confirmation email and call prior to the appointment. The service men showed up exactly when they said they would and got the job done very quickly. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be if they had washed the windows at least on the outside before they left.

Delivery and install was great. The installer would fit any ideal expectation that a customer would have! The timing for the whole process was long - exactly 30 days. Local supplier sent service to measure and confirm needed glass then entered info into Milgard's system. Call from very polite and informative customer service informed very well.
However, because the lifetime warranty is valid only for the first owner, they looked up my address in "some database" and reported to me that I was not the first owner. They gave me the name of my next door neighbor who built 2 years ago. I bought this lot over 10 years ago and built house 5 years ago. Title has always been in our name. Customer service questioned my being first owner and wanted proof in the form of "something from escrow". I sent appropriate paperwork. I have NOT heard back if adequate. I also asked customer service [and emailed] a request for the name of the database where they looked up ownership of my property. NO RESPONSE. I checked county and other records. Ownership is correct. Please let me know the source of your inaccurate information so I can have it corrected.

Service tech was great. Had an opening and came 2 days early. Not sure Spokane Valley is a "remote" location according to the scheduler. Would have liked to not wait so long for a lock replacement to secure our home.

Customer service was great. The installer was fast, on time, very friendly, and did high-quality work. The only negative is this: The window shattered on its own during a very cold spell. I felt like it was likely due to a material defect and should have been replaced for free.

Great service. However almost every time I get a new window there is so kind of scratch or mark in the new glass that either comes from factory or it happens when installed! Leaves me a bit disappointed. Noticed one at the top of my new large window when they left.

Webber ** was out with another resource and once again, Webber rocked it! We've had problems with air leaks and whistling with the windows Milgard replaced via warranty. It's been a long and frustrating process, but each and every time we have had interactions with Webber **, it's been a pleasurable experience. If the rating was just for Webber, it would be 5 stars, but history still has me reluctant to give Milgard a 5 star rating.
If I need anything additional, I will accept no one other than Webber coming out to my home. His attention to detail, customer service skills, and product knowledge are unsurpassed. NOTHING would have gotten done on our warranty concern had Webber not gotten involved, along with Banks Glass in Sonora and David **, Milgard Sales. Frankly, it shouldn't be that hard to get something done. I chalk much of that up to Sai **. Hopefully Milgard has sent her to the unemployment line for poor performance.

Purchased window had two small (1 mm) bubbles (cat's eye) in the interior glass of a large, tempered, picture window. Window was replaced without question. Experienced crew did job in 20 min. Crew arrived on time, were neat, and finished job looked great. I am very happy with the service provided by Milgard.

After owning our home for 5 years some of the windows, primarily ones that were in direct sun, experienced failure of the seals between the dual glass panes. Called Milgard and replacements was done on warranty although it took a year to complete. Service rep was very good, even found an additional failed unit and had that one replaced too. So service is great but I’m a little disappointed that the windows failed so early in their life. Our neighbors have the same issues but because they bought from the builder who had a mortgage on the property Milgard considers them as not the original owners and will not honor the warranty.

After 3 extra windows made to correct a 1/8" overshoot in length. No biggie. 2 next mistakes were avoidable. 1st mistake, the HxW were reversed at some level. 2nd mistake they ordered a single hang instead of a double. That is 3 windows made that they consider garbage. Time to wait for correct window, work time, delivery, garbage. Total avoidable cost to Milgard and the landfill. I left the 2 extra windows on the curb. Maybe someone will find a place for them.

Workers arrived before the scheduled service appointment and efficiently removed the scratched window panes. New windows were in place quickly and efficiently. Both workers were friendly and polite. The windows needed to be cleaned of hand smudges as well as adhesive and traces of the styrofoam squares that separated them during shipment. More cleaning was needed after the workers left unfortunately. Overall though a job well done. Thanks Milgard.

Requesting windows to be replaced under warranty has become cumbersome - find the number on the windows, measure the windows, submit pictures... This took a long time for 5 windows, and in the end a rep came out and measured anyway. I preferred the old way - a rep comes out and measures, then comes again to replace.

We could not get window to open or latch to return to closed position. Chuck knew immediately how to free the mechanism & did so promptly without damaging the window or latch - & didn't make fun of us for not knowing how to do it ourselves.

We have been trying to have our patio door project finished for 2 months now. It all started with a measurement mistake from Home Depot of Flagstaff installer where a smaller door was ordered. It had to be temporarily installed for another to be ordered which was their mistake but this same door also had a faulty roller on the bottom that wasn't adjustable and handle latch was not working also. So we then had a temporary door that didn't roll easy or lock which would be product issues.
The new door with correct measurement arrived around 30 days later and install went smoothly and looks good except when you open and close the door it has a metal rattle. Milgard has contacting me to schedule the appointment to inspect the new door to see what is making this sound. The first date they have available is 55 days from today to just look at it and if they have to order parts it could take more time? They might offer a warranty but getting things replaced or repaired could take months. So we are 2 for 2 with defective patio doors. No a very long wait for a service person to come out and look at it?

I waited one month for this door to be installed by Lowe’s. Once the installers installed the door they commented that there was a noise being made as the door closed. They mentioned they thought the door frame was bowed. The Milgard specialist came out a week later to look at it and said it was no big deal and it was fine. I’m really hoping that’s the case. I paid a lot for this door and waited a long time to get it installed.

The sliding door was replaced on the date promised...couldn't be happier. On a second matter. I had visited your DENVER show room on another matter (window balances). I was aided by Latrelle **, Jose ** and Dennis **. I was so impressed with how they helped me that I requested their names so that I could pass on to you how gracious and courteous they were to me. Exemplary!! They helped me understand how to do the minor fix and even gave me an in-house practice. All with smiles!! Great employees. You should be proud.

Technician called a half hour before appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. Was polite and well groomed. I showed what the problem was and he tackled it immediately. He had the job done about the same time the appointment was for. If I hadn't seen him do the job and the new window, I would have never known he was there. Great job!

Our technician and service appt went well and we are very happy with the results. The reason I haven't provided a higher rating is that I submitted the request for service on Jan 28th and the appt did not happen to Mar 21st. I don't know if there was a gap between placing the request with Lennar or Milgard scheduling the appt but 2 months seems excessive.

I’m a contractor and decided to go with Milgard. What a mistake. It’s been almost 1 year and they still can’t fix a defective door. Call 1 - "Oops we made the doors wrong." Call 2 - "Oops the new doors glass is all scratched up." Call 3 - "Oops the new glass doesn’t fit." Call 4 - "Oops the bad design pops the outer trim off and scratches the door every time you open and close it." Call 5 - manager, "I assure you we will fix this and we’re sorry." Call 6 - customer and I still have not heard from Milgard. Don’t buy. Don’t buy. Please don’t buy from them.

Although we had to reschedule the original date due to technician availability, that was handled well and on the new date, the techs were on time and completed two replacements in a difficult spot expeditiously. When they were done, you couldn't even tell they had been there except for the shiny new windows.

I just purchased 48 windows and doors last summer... It took 3 appointments to get one stuck window fixed. Each appointment is scheduled weeks out, you get no appointment window until about a week away and no one calls to confirm that it works for you. Then, the service techs don’t show up during the 2 hr appointment window... They call at the end of it to say they are 15 min to an hour late... Can you wait? Not helpful.
I am still waiting to receive a call back regarding my unresolved issue of black windows with brown window grids... I have 11 of them and they were sent back before we installed them and the new “fixed” windows were still black with brown grids. We installed the windows and were told it was fixable at our home... Milgard is now telling me several stories 1. That they don’t make a black matching grid 2. That it’s the distributor I bought them from who is at fault... So I have 50k invested in windows that are black with brown grids... super ugly and completely not what I ordered. I have left 2 voicemails to try to get this resolved and my “escalated” issue has not been followed up on. I’m tired of calling and getting nowhere. People should know how terrible this company is.

Gain they were not correct, except this time it was the quality of the screen used. They were sub-standard at best. New screens were again ordered and were installed and are fine. It is hard to understand how Milgard installs wonderful (and expensive) windows, but the screen are sub par.

I set up this appointment for my mom when I went to see her for a visit and had noticed one of her windows had failed. They set a date for the following month. They emailed and confirmed a couple days prior. The installers were punctual and very polite. The whole swap took less than a half hour. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

The service tech was professional and timely ; however, your SCHEDULING DEPARTMENT lacks follow through - Appointments are scheduled with customers and no one ever calls to confirm or inquire if that appointment time works with their schedule. Just happened to be off work that day. This has happened to me twice.

The men were good on the install. However there was some confusion on the glass that was brought out to the job to get warranted. It would be good to request an on-site visit prior to warranty work being ordered to confirm all material arrives with the men. They installed 10 panels in less than an hour.

I cannot say enough about the service and professionalism from your staff. I called in to get a window lock repaired and sliding door screens installed and the young lady helping me was very kind and knowledgeable. She set my appointment and told me that two days before I would get an email confirming a 2 hour window for service which I received. Thursday, March 14th my doorbell rang in the PM and Alex, along with another tech said they were in the area and asked if they could perform the service a day early.
I was happy to see them and let them do the service I requested. Alex explained everything they were doing throughout the service call and when finished he took me and showed me what they had done. Once again, their level of professionalism was exemplary. I appreciate Milgard windows, the products they provided for my home during our construction and the follow up service after the fact. I would happily suggest to all my friends and family that if they ever need windows to please call Milgard first.

The two installers arrived at the earliest estimated time (noon on a 12-3 timeframe). They took a total of 30 minutes to remove and install a new pane. They were very polite and efficient. I was very impressed with them. They left the work site clean and made sure the glass was sparkling clean.

The service was scheduled to start on March 13th between 9:30 &11:30 a.m. The service tech called at 9:30 and informed us they were on their way. They arrived twenty minutes later and began the project. The windows were 16 years old so they had to replace several panes. They were very efficient and got the job done quickly. I was very satisfied with their work. Where can you find a deal like this, total cost $0.00.

A new window had a blemish. Milgard replaced it without a problem. The only suggestion to improve is, we were told the tech was coming between 8.30 and 10.30 am. We got a call around 1 pm. All went smooth, however, if we weren't going to be home, and we had to wait, this could have been a problem

Replaced 3 fogged windows. The 2 Milgard repairmen called 45 minutes before arriving which was helpful since the phone message I received a few weeks ago stated they were scheduled for next Tuesday. Milgard's technician arrived within the time frame and called 20 minutes ahead arrival. Explained what the problem was with one of casement window (contractor mistakenly installed two pieces of plastic parts backwards - the part intended for the left side of the window was installed on the right side and vice versa the part for the right). Then he demonstrated how the window can be tilled from the inside of house for easy cleaning (which was not shown by the contractor when all of the windows and doors were replaced with Milgard windows and doors back in 2016 during a whole house renovation). July 30th I paid $6000. for a Milgard door. They said it would take 2 months to build. My door came Sept. 27 and the frame was not made properly. So 2 more months and another door delivered. The doors were all bowed. There was no weather stripping, no keys for the door and no screens. I waited 2 more months, called on Feb. 18th and found out they never made the doors. It ended up being a good thing because my contractor found out they hadn't drilled out the weep holes and the water ruined my NEW hardwood floors. Now those have to be replaced. I just want my money back for all the damage this company has done.

Warranty is essentially worthless if they don't have a designated rep in the area. The seal broke within a few years of installation despite very gentle treatment. I have been trying for four months to get the window repaired. The rep from whom I purchased the windows dropped Milgard and there are no others in the entire major metropolitan area where I live. Finally someone at Milgard said it would be repaired but they had no idea when parts might come in, and referred me to another number in the company where messages are taken but no calls are ever returned. Make sure there are multiple reps in your area if you plan to use their windows or there is no protection for the consumer at all. Very disappointed.

Your repair appears to be a problem with the installation and caulking rather than the product. I had my maintenance man repair the caulking to expedite the repair due to the recent rains and potential for more interior damage. The only complaint was the length of time in having someone contact me to arrange the appointment for your customer service to find the problem.

I had three windows that lost the seal and had dots between the two panes. I called the installer and they said to call Milgard. I called Milgard and gave them some information and they set up a date for the repair. The repairman came early the day he was scheduled. It only took about ten minutes per window. They look brand new now.

Had windows installed by a third party, Design Windows and Doors, on 25 Feb. Noticed a double hung privacy window in our bathroom was not locking. Called and had an appointment within 72 hrs for a tech to come out. Arrived early morning, maybe 10 am. Completed everything quick. No paperwork. Awesome!

Need to have representative perform measurements for replacement to eliminate errors. We needed to have a second window delivered/installed/ since the owner made measurement was made from the interior of the room and the installer indicated it needed to be made from the exterior - something the owner cannot perform. This was the first time we, as the owner, was required to measure the window while in the past with other replacements, the measurements came from the original order on file at your office.

House is now 11 years old so out of warranty for us, not being the original owner of the house. 3 windows have lost their seal, that is not quality window seals should last much longer than that. The good news is they haven't all failed so a few thousand gets it fixed and hope the rest don't follow suit otherwise it's going to get very expensive.

All our doors and windows are from Milgard. The larger patio door would not operate (around February). In fact, it came out and almost fell on my wife. We initially had an appointment in April, but my wife was able to get it moved to March since the door was unstable, and seemed like it could fall at any time. Milgard makes horrible windows! Almost every seal in our entire house failed after 6 years which was shortly after we bought our home. Because, we were the 2nd owners they wouldn't replace them. Now, every window has failed. Shame on Milgard to offer a phony warranty knowing that most people don't own their home for more than 5 years.

It took a while but finally it all worked out well. We had some windows that were very worn out - we were not the original owners but the warranty should follow the window and not the owner - I mean really? However - Milgard customer service, after several attempts and conversations was able to help us get some of the faulty glass replaced. We only need pay for the labor which seems fair. So for this I am grateful. AND because of this when we go to redo the new addition we will be putting in approx. 6 new windows and a 2 doors. They will be Milgard for sure. And we will also have a positive story to share thus making Milgard a name you can trust. So thank you for being honorable and for standing behind your product.

Awful experience. Every window ordered has come in with one or more problems including: wrong thickness, wrong size glass, bad install, Low E failures, wrong size screens, etc. This is not the same Milgard quality from 10 years ago. And each time the 'new correct' window is ordered, it is another 6-8 weeks to attempt another reinstall and the reinstall fails. Groundhog day every month or so. A lot of upheaval when considering we have to move furniture out of their way each time and block out a weekday for the install/repair. They should be paying us for this awful experience. Still not done. The June window took 6 visits including install to get correct. The October windows, installed January, attempted at correcting today --- wrong size glass. Another 6-8 weeks to see if they can correct the issue. No quality control at the factory!

We had a Milgard garden window that began leaking. I called our window installer and they put us in touch with Milgard. Someone came out promptly to assess the situation and a date was scheduled to fix the leak. Unfortunately on the scheduled day, the installer discovered the replacement glass had not been ordered. A new date was scheduled and the replacement went smoothly. Every interaction I had with Milgard was good. They were professional and apologetic when the glass wasn't ordered. The installers were professional.

The workmen came on time and did an excellent job. They picked up the small pieces that we cut off the trim. They finished up the job in a very short time. We had one window that did not close properly and they tried to adjust the window, but could not because the window frame and changed. They showed that there was no problem with the Milgard window.

The 2 techs replaced 9 of 10 windows and doors that had leaked. Good job overall, and the new ones look fine, thank you. A couple caveats: We had shutters over 2 of the windows and we were not told that they needed to be moved by us ahead of time. I was able to do this, with guidance from the techs. One leaking sliding door could not be removed by the techs to change the glass, and had to be left as is.

I am satisfied with the product but somewhat unhappy with the service. It took several attempts to get a screen replaced for a brand new window. After installation, we noticed there was a small tear in one of the screens. The installer tried to re-screen it but in doing this he had too much tension in the middle and the framing bowed inward. This was NOT Milgard's fault. A new screen was ordered and shipped from Milgard. It arrived damaged to us. In calling Milgard the woman on the phone was not very friendly. She did order a new screen and it was going to be driven out. On the date that it was supposed to arrive, the driver called and told me this screen was ripped and a new one would have to get here. He told me that someone from Milgard would call me in a couple of days.
I waited about 1.5 weeks for a call, but no one did. I called and spoke to a Milgard rep and was finally given a date for the new screen to arrive. It arrived and thankfully not damaged. It only took 3 1/2 months, but it looks great. I love the Milgard product and will gladly purchase it for future needs. I am giving my review only 3 stars as I think the woman on the phone could have been more understanding (friendly) and the replacement could have been done a lot faster.

My recently installed sliding glass door jammed in the locked position. I called Milgard service and a service call was scheduled. Guillermo arrived at the scheduled time, listened to my description of the problem, inspected the door and explained to me what he thought the problem was and how he was going to proceed. After drilling out the handle, he thoroughly inspected all the components, cleaned and lubricated as necessary and made adjustments as required. Throughout his visit, Guillermo, remained professional and very pleasant in his manner toward me. I was very impressed with his technical knowledge of the product and his thorough pursuit of the solution. It was my privilege to have Guillermo come to my aid in correcting my problem.

Getting an appointment and keeping the appointment has been an issue over this last year (two different windows). We were gone on vacation the week before replacement and an email notification changed our date. Luckily we could request the first appointment. Customer service has improved and they have been more considerate about our dates and times for replacement. That was not the case when we first asked for service last year. The service men have always been professional and polite.

Ordered 2 sets of doors. On one set, the exterior paint had marks from sanding. Your solution was to replace doors. First attempt to replace was cancelled by you on the same day of appointment to replace. Second attempt to replace was successful.

The technician, Sergey, call about an hour before the scheduled appointment to let us know he was done early with his other jobs and could come over sooner. He arrived in about 15 mins and replace the window with a bad seal quickly. He was friendly, took his shoes off coming in and kept the area clean. He did a great job. This is about the 9th Milgard window we have had to replace though and the house is only 5.5 years old. Thank you Sergey.

Service call was for standing water in the slider door inner rail. Apparently the inner weep holes were blocked. The tech quickly resolved the issue and expanded the drainage potential so I need not be concerned going forward.

I purchase Milgard double pane windows for my whole house. I bought Milgard windows because of the Lifetime Warranty, which means that if the inner seal fails and they fog up inside that they will replace them as long as you own your home. Over 5 months ago I'll call Milgard and turned in a warranty claim. They said it would probable be 4 to 6 weeks to have the 2 window glass replaced. They still have not fixed my window! This company is a FRAUD!

Replace windows with moisture in between the glass. The two gentlemen that came to replace the windows were very professional and good at their jobs. They were courteous, clean and knew their jobs well. The customer service part of Milgard was slow to respond and I had to keep calling. On the large half moon window it took customer service 3 times to get the right window.

Milgard replaced the window slider that was cracked when delivered to my house. I emailed Milgard on January 1, 2019 to notify them of the crack. I then called Milgard about it and they ordered its replacement. The Milgard replacement was done as promised on February 5, 2019.

Absolutely excellent experience with Milgard. Years ago but Milgard windows for my prior home and was very happy with them. New smaller home and Milgard Tuscany Windows again. Excellent window quality but had a few issues with the sliding door and re-tractable hiding screen. Contacted no guard technician came out was respectful and professional extremely skilled and fixed all issues with this later. Very very happy customer here.

They showed up unannounced to replace the failed windows. I commented to them that typically I received a call to make sure we are home for the service. He said that he did call. They replaced the windows but did not clean up after the service. Two other times they've had to repair windows and both times they cleaned up the area and cleaned the replacement windows.

I had a sliding windows that made a loud rattling sound when it was windy outside. It was right next to the TV and it was annoying to listen to. The technician pretty quickly identified the problem as a loose stiffening bar (I think that's the term) and secured it with a few screws. It all took about half an hour. The windows doesn't make an sound.

Andy has been awesome working with. I had a window that had the lift mechanism break. These are older windows and after checking it out he determined the window had also lost its seal. This has been a challenge for Andy because of the age of the windows (1990), but all along the way he has been very professional, communicates to me the next steps and leave the area clean. While we are still working to get the final parts needed to finish up the job, I have no issues with the progress that has been made and the work Andy has done to date. Milgard is standing behind their windows and that is something I will make sure I tell others. Thank you Milgard, Tony.

We have Milgard windows installed for the whole house. One of the windows has been leaking and water damaged the windowsill. We kept calling 1-800-Milgard, waited in the line and left messages. No response at all!! It’s been over a week.

Service VERY SLOW. Two months to get service to come out with replacement window, only to find out that they made the wrong window! They put service and new orders in the same line. My guess it will be at least 3 months to receive replacement window.

I purchased a home that had Milgard windows installed. About 3-4 years after I bought the house, and about 10 years after they were installed, the windows began to fall apart. There is weatherstripping installed between the double pane windows which is melting and running down the windows. It looks like a slug worked its way on the inside of the window from top to bottom. Milgard tells me these windows aren’t covered under the transferable warranty and wished me luck. These windows shouldn’t have failed already and I am shocked that they won’t stand by their product and fix them. I would be very careful installing their products or buying a home with them installed.

Everything went well during window sash replacement. All workers knew what they were doing and answered all my questions. They worked as a team. It took three visits to have work completed. First visit was look at problem and try to fix. Second visit technician released wrong part was on truck and had to reschedule. Third visit went well and replacement part was installed and all parts needed for job were on hand. They went above and beyond when replacing window sash.

Rocky came and adjusted the sliding panels on my four-panel sliding doors. They went from stiff and awkward to smooth and effortless. It's a shame the original installers didn't do as good a job as Rocky did.

After installation of 5 multi-panel door systems, none of the three or four panel active doors would engage, and therefore lock. Your two service reps explained in EXCELLENT detail how to adjust all members so that the doors would close, and the locks would engage. The guys came today to check into a window that leaked during a recent rain storm. Re-caulked around the window which should take of the leak. I was disappointed that I was not advised their arrival time in advance as promised so when they arrived I was still in pj’s. I was earlier told I would receive an email on Monday advising a 2 hour time window as to when they would arrive, but, alas, no email ever came hence the surprise this morning.

I did not personally deal with the Milgard reps but my door/window installer did. This is what he relayed to me... We had issues with the doors not operating properly after installation. My installer is very experienced and has worked with doors for many years. He told me that the Milgard reps came out and were great. Resolved all the issues. Showed him adjustment methods that were apparently not in the installation manual. They did much of the correction but left some of them to him to finish. My installer was very pleased with the service. My only issue was the length of time it took to get someone on site from the time of the request. I can't remember exactly but it was about a month. Seems like a long time.

Our windows have a lifetime guarantee, one was so bad you could not see out of it. We have had these windows 20 years. They came out and looked at it and said five windows needed replaced. They fixed two and made a date to return to fix the other three. The two guys that came out were very professional, were so fun to talk with, it was a great experience. We have 2 big picture windows which were getting more and more unclear. I heard that they had a lifetime warranty so I call in and explain the issues. He ask for the #'s in the channel and told me he would get back to me. 3 days later I got an email that he turned it in to the technicians. Week later I got a call for an appointment and they came out and took measurements, ordered the windows and will be back in 3 to 4 weeks. They have been a very prompt and professional. Very pleased with Milgard.

Windows product and installation great. But I have been waiting for answers to where is my rebate. I have called numerous times and can't get an answer from the Temecula office. Last call said that they sent the rebate info for an Amazon gift card to my email. When I told them I did not receive it, it was as if they didn't believe me. I called them back several times asking them to resend the email or at least a digital tracking number but have not heard back.

I purchased the kitchen windows many years ago but only had reason to lock them recently. They would not. The company I purchased the windows from got me in touch with Milgard who responded in a reasonable amount of time. When they got necessary information they came out very quickly. They contacted me and helped me with getting the appropriate information so they could replace the window. As we are original owners of the home and had our paperwork, the process went smoothly. They set a date for a serviceman to come to the house and he showed up on the date and the total house call took less than 10 minutes. The window is replaced, looks great and works fine. We are having one last window replaced and will definitely use a Milgard vendor again.

Technician replaced a window which had a broken seal. The window was under warranty. There was a bit of confusion about the time that the technician was to arrive. Failed window seals - The tech called us to let us know he was running late one and half hours. He said due to scheduling conflicts. He was very polite and professional and did a good job. The replacement stationary side of our sliders grid did not match the other side. We agreed that the weight may settle down and align up. We will wait and see.

I submitted a web service request on 11/3/2018. No one contacted me until 12 days later. I called in and waited on the phone for 40 min to talk to the service department. Had to call back and wait another 40 min to provide the manufacturer # and told the rep that the hinges on one of the doors is faulty. They said they'll order the hinges and the technician will come out. The earliest appt was 2 months out. So the technician came out yesterday 1/14/2019. After unsuccessfully trying to fix the door he tells me that he needs to replace the hinges. I told him I already reported that and he was supposed to have hinges and he told me none of that info was in his service instructions.
So he now needs to go back and order the hinges and I need to reschedule another visit. He said to wait for a day so he can enter his info in the system. I did and called today to reschedule and after waiting another 30 minutes I'm told he has not entered his info and I should call back tomorrow to try to reschedule. Worst of all I'm told I will be put back into the standard service queue just like a new service call, which means another 2 months or so before I get my door fixed. There must be a way to get a quick appointment if the issue causing the revisit was caused by Milgard's systems.

Mold between double panes of glass - Your service technician showed up during the estimated timeframe, popped out the glass, caulked and replaced glass within 10 minutes. Service was great, as was your initial response time. The only thing we'd have wished for was more flexibility on the day(s) of the week service could be delivered. I have got to say that Milgard has been so helpful and I am so happy with the way they handled my window warranty. They were so easy to work with and handled my situation very professionally and in a timely manner.
