I submitted a warranty claim for my windows that needed repair and I'm extremely pleased with help and attention I received from Milgard customer service team. They are knowledgeable and were very helpful throughout the entire claim process.

Rudy was my technician and arrived right on time. (12 noon) He was friendly, efficient and did an excellent repair job. I had a couple of other small Milgard door issues and he took care of every single one!! I had never gotten the screen door jam-lock installed. Rudy took care of that and showed me how it worked. He also cleaned my door track so my big, heavy door glides more easily now. Milgard is lucky to have such a good technician on their repair team. Super happy customer.

I would highly recommend using Milgard for your Windows & Sliding Glass Doors. Unfortunately, after 5 years, we had "fogging" on one of our sliding glass doors. I scheduled an appt and a few weeks later, Caleb & his team member arrived to replace it. They were very quick and professional. There was no paperwork to complete and no questions asked. They were prepared - a true class act. Thank you Milgard!!!

Employee came out to address my warped slider door. After he thought he had fixed it and had been gone for 45 minutes the door acting up again. I gave him a call and within 20 minutes he returned to try and correct. Unfortunately 4 days later the door is starting to warp out again and not close without a lot of resistance.

I had Milgard windows replacement for more than 10 years, when my windows had some issue with discolored, then I called for warranty department, receptionist very courtesy, I set up for an appointment, they even email & calling for reminder. Technicians show up on times, and have window replacement. Even was raining that day, they finish within 1 hr, (Wow?? Super fast, Thanks to Anthony **.) They even clean windows before leaving. I am very happy as Milgard customer as for life, and will recommends to all friends.

With recent events it took awhile to schedule the window replacement, but the technician arrived earlier than scheduled, was very pleasant and professional. Got the job done in no time at all. He was complimentary of Milgard, as I am. I am grateful for their replacement policy. I got my windows in 2010. I have been more than pleased.

4 windows to be installed. We received a call yesterday to say they would be here between 8am and 10am today. At 7.30 this morning we received a call to say he would be here by 8. A very nice gentleman by the name of Ramon was here by 7.45. He was polite, efficient was wearing a mask and obviously following his guidelines. He installed 4 new windows, made no mess and did a wonderful job. He left by 8.30. A definite craftsman and I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you.

I had 3 windows that failed, and I was no longer able to see through them. I placed a request for service online. Once the guys were here to replace them, they did it quickly and efficiently. They said, "Glad to be of service and if you have any issues with the windows let us know and it will be taken care of." Just for Milgard's warranty and customer service, I would never buy another brand of window.

I have had two contractors make improvements to my home in the past 15 years. Each of them has told me that they will not install any window unless it is Milgard. A small leak at the base of a large window was fixed in 30 minutes by simply removing and re-installing a window that was put in 5 years ago. I am a forever customer of Milgard. Both product and service is excellent.

I had a very good experience with the crew yesterday. They were on-time, gave me a call ahead to say they were on their way and very friendly. I was not able to remove two of my blinds due to the size of them and how hard they were to originally install. The crew said that was not issue and took extra care to make sure that the blinds were not damaged during the new window installation. Very accommodating!

Bob was very efficient, courteous and tidy. He was also very friendly. He called to announce he was coming in 15 minutes, and replaced 7 panes. They looked great! We were shocked, however, that he had no mask of any kind, or gloves. He is at risk going directly through doors and into homes, and interacting with people in close quarters. With our social distancing and isolation rules in place right now for coronavirus, it's hard to believe Milgard is not equipping and requiring their workers to wear a mask in customer homes, for our benefit and Bob's!

1) I did not receive a response to my request online. Fortunately my neighbor had windows replaced so I got a card from him & was able to set up window replacement.
2) Nice service guy! It would’ve been even better if he’d been aware when it came to tracking in dirt & has offered to replace items on countertop ;-) But remember I gave 5 stars! Just something that could make you guys the best!

The technician arrived well within the time frame scheduled. He came to the door and stood away from it as I opened it, protecting both himself and me. Right off the bat, I advised him everyone in our household was feeling fine; he replied that he was as well. I let him in, showed him the two windows to be replaced and he went right to work. I left him alone in the room where the work was being done so as to minimize exposure to both of us. He completed his work in a very efficient manner, notified me when he was finished and left just after. Great service by him and your company! Thank you!

The doors with windows were replaced by Milgard. The original door windows had the wrong grid pattern according to what we ordered from Home Depot. The two Milgard installers worked hard to get the replacement doors aligned correctly. They were professional and had very pleasant personalities. They were respectful of social distancing requirements.

It was a very pleasant experience. The tech was professional and personable. With the Covid-19, he was extremely careful of social distance, wearing gloves and mask. Our windows are Clearly the Best! We purchased them in May of 2002 and recommend them always.

Milgard stands 100% behind its products. I am so impressed. I have many Milgard windows and one developed condensation after about 15 years. The Milgard folks came right to my home with a replacement and did the job in 15 minutes at absolutely no cost. This is superior service. Thank you.

The service technician adjusted three locks that were sticking, rather than locking properly. The first adjusted easily and works very well. The other two–which he said operate as most doors do–require a specific way of shutting them, not too fast, not too hard. Honestly, I like the first door best, where I don't have to think about how I close it. But all now do lock properly.

Mr. ** called before he came and was on time and very professional. Mr. ** came right in after doing his shoe covers and changed out the windows that needed replacing, cleaned them when he was completed and left with no mess behind. Alex S., our Milgard installer, was courteous, prompt, and professional. I appreciated that he called about 30 min prior to his arrival. The installation was clean and well done. Alex was well-dressed, clean, and trustworthy. I would highly recommend Alex and Milgard. Milgard did a great job handling our window warranty issue. I received emailed confirmation of the appointment and a reminder notification a few days beforehand.

Technician Bobby arrived on time. Texted me roughly 30 minutes prior to arrival. In and out with repair complete in about 15 minutes. Also tightened up loose handle on sliding glass door upon request. Very polite and helpful. Good guy.

I had 39 Milgard windows installed between Sept. 2009 & 2012. The window pane seals on about half of them failed & they now have a haze. I called Milgard in Aug. 2019 to file a claim. In 7 agonizing months, I have made numerous calls & e-mailed the invoices several times & they refuse to make the necessary repairs, as they claim they are out of warranty. They were installed in a 4 unit apartment, which per their warranty, are covered for 10 years. Yet they say they are out of warranty. Steer clear of Milgard!!!

I'm sorry there has been any confusion surrounding the warranty for apartment buildings. This falls under the commercial warranty which is 10 years and based on a 2009 install date, it has now expired. The Full Lifetime Warranty is for residential property only. We have 23 Milgard windows installed in our home and after seven years, five of them started clouding up on the interior between the two panes. I contacted Milgard and without any question, they sent out a rep to replace the windows. The service rep, Jim **, was very courteous, efficient, and did great work. My large picture window which was installed in 1998 or a bit after was replaced because very small areas between the layers were being compromised--it looked like specks of dirt--and I couldn't get rid of it from either side! The original dealer who handled the initial installation no longer worked with Milgard and kept no records; I went to another local dealer who was very helpful in getting me in touch with Milgard via the website. And from that point on, things went very smoothly--a couple of inspections, and an evaluation while I was gone for the winter--and phone calls to ensure that today was OK--and finally the replacement--in a bit of wind and rain!

Replace screens a parts for awning windows. We have purchased windows from Milgard twice in the last 15 years. Their guarantee is a lifetime. The quality of their windows is the best in the industry. I must admit, their request for service screens on their website are a bit cumbersome. As long as you have a copy of the sales order number they can take care of your issues over the phone.

I did a complete gut to my house. It took a lot longer than expected and various contractors had to take doors on and off. At some point the hinges weren't properly aligned and I was not able to properly close and lock the door. The Milgard team was great in swapping out the old hinges, putting in the proper anchor screws, and properly hanging the doors. They worked fast and efficient.

I am very appreciative for Milgard to replace all the defective windows in my home. Technicians are professional and friendly while they are at my home doing their work. Although it took them three visits to replace all the defective windows except one window is too high that there is no adequate tool to do the job and safety concerned. Asking us to provide specialty tools is not very appropriate because regular households won’t have specialty tools stored at home.

We purchased Milgard windows for our new house that we built. Five years later the exterior color started flaking off. I called and filed a claim and Tho it took 3 months to get it handled Milgard sent a company out to repaint all of the windows so they would all match. The handle of the door would get sort of stuck as you lifted it to lock. However, within a very short amount of time, the technician was able to fix it and explain to me how to possibly avoid this in the future. He was also right on time, which was great.

Door dragging and getting more difficult to open after about 12 years. Technician removed door readily and replaced rollers. Track and other areas all looked good. Completed in about half an hour. Opens 100 times easier now. Very professional and timely. Thanks Milgard.

I had a very large window really high up, in a two story living room, that had sprung a leak. Milgard sent out a great servicing company Q&R Home, to replace the window. They did an excellent, professional job. I was so impressed with their skill in removing and replacing the window. It was amazing! Not only were they highly skilled, they were so careful and clean and fast. I had no idea how they would do the job, but they did it, and on a Saturday! SO impressed and pleased. Thank you, Milgard!!! The windows are incredible - very insulating and great quality. I am a big fan.

The two young men were courteous and professional. They measured the window first to make sure it would fit. The reason for the four stars is that the window they installed was dirty, and there are seeds (that's what they look like) stuck on the inside of the window where I cannot reach to clean. I will have to remove the window to clean it, and I do not know how. Also, the paint job on the vinyl (beige) is not good; I can see metal at some spots. I have always been happy with Milgard and its customer service but ever since a tech covered a hole with duct tape and it took me months to even get a response, I will have to say that in this case, Milgard did the least they could.

House is around 17 years old and we are original owners so once we took stock of how many windows were having issues we initiated a service call under our warranty. Milgard has been fantastic in both their service and technicians that came out. They did have to make 2 trips since not all the springs necessary were provided to the first group, but they also identified some additional work for the second group to perform so it was a thorough review and serving of all our windows.

I live in a 180-Townhome complex. Nearly 10 years ago, Milgard installed all new windows in our complex. When my husband and I decided to sell our home last July, our real estate agent suggested that we contact Milgard to have them examine our windows. Several months later, Milgard came out and identified 10 defective windows. Now it's been 8 months since my initial telephone call that we finally got our replacement windows installed! Every Milgard representative was courteous and provided us with excellent service. We are very satisfied with our new windows. My only gripe is the long process!

We had three windows with discoloration on the inside of them. The technician was prompt and efficient, and took care of the problem. The windows look beautiful now, brand new. Very happy with the service. He went out of his way to see that we were happy and pleased with his work.

I had yet to get a response regarding a replacement handle and locking mechanism on our new sliding door that has already been registered through Milgard. I have sent several emails with no replies. Our door does not lock correctly and had a minor cosmetic blemish on the white handle.. Please have someone contact me.

Daniel arrived on time, saw the crack in the window and replaced the dual pane window in minutes, cleaning up as he went. The glass window came out of the frame very easily showing some very slick engineering in the window design. The new glass window installed just as easily. Daniel removed all the stickers and even washed the window. It looks perfect.

We originally ordered French doors with sidelights in May 2019. After many months we were told the style we ordered were no longer available. In December 2019 the doors were installed but the sidelights did not fit properly. It took three tries and in February 2020 the job was completed. The doors look great and other than the wait, we are satisfied.

The door was delivered in February 2019 and it is a 4 panel sliding door. There are two fixed panels and two sliding panels. The right sliding door panel has been replaced 5 times and has been reworked at least 6 times. The service tech, Dell ** is awesome but this door is worthless. If we could we would have it torn out and returned.

The response to my request was really slow. I put in request on Dec 6, 2019 and I got a response on Jan 25, 2020. Once we had contact I was told that they would schedule service, however not got follow up call when such service would take place. I had to follow up myself on Jan 30, 2020. From then on all went really smooth. The Service was scheduled for Wed 2/26/2020. A phone call would inform me two days before to remind me that service person would arrive on wednesday. The service persons would call before he would arrive. This all was done perfect.
Helmut called 30 minutes before he was to arrive and he came right on time. The service was perfect. Helmut checked and determined that the vinyl frame was not positioned correctly so the weather seals not engaged properly all around the frame. Especially the outside seal showed a gap. The window was taken out.The frame adjusted and the new window was installed. Helmut watched when we sprayed the window to make sure no more water leaks. Also checked the other window next to it and noticed that the frame was slightly crooked. He adjusted the hinges. Could not ask for more. Milgard service was great and the warranty program is indeed great. Thank you Milgard. This type of factory service makes all the difference when choosing your window and door manufacturer.
NOTE: I had asked the installer who had put in the windows and doors in my house. He not believed that it was a window problem but would report it. It appears that reporting means telling the dealer. The dealer in Bakersfield Lifetime Interiors could not be reached and it appears they are out of business. It is good that Milgard has a website for information but also to request service. One needs to have some patience but Milgard will take care of the problem. The lesson learned is to find an installer who has direct connections with the manufacturer. Contact Milgard when you believe something is wrong with your door or window.

Service man called 30 min ahead of arrival. Investigated the problem. Then repaired the handle, explained to me to spray silicone lubricant on the lock mechanism and weatherstripping. He then checked the sliding door for operation and left.

The technician, Siab, is very professional. He arrived on time and spent the time to adjust our two sliding doors as the installer did not do a good job. He also explained me how the lock works and how to adjust it. Also he pointed out the problems that the installer had so that I could ensure my next window project will be done better. Milgard is a great company and It would be even better if the service wait time could be shorter.

Broken seals warranted new windows and service representatives were great. The only problem is the wait time for an appointment. I have had Milgard out to my home 3-4 times and every appointment is scheduled approximately two months in advance.

Everything about this was perfect! The warranty covered my service call and I didn’t even expect it because my installation was in 2003 and I couldn’t find any of my paperwork. The Milgard service call was scheduled several weeks ago. The representative who scheduled the appointment was very detailed and ensured to capture the necessary information for all 5 windows that required service (all 20+ windows installed in 2005). It was a little tricky to find the window number but customer service team, again, was helpful. The appointment reminder via text and email was efficient and clear. The quick call 15' prior to arrival within the 2 hour appointment window was much appreciated. The repair team member completed all repairs quickly yet effectively. Glad I made that call and happy with Milgard windows.

After 15 years one of my windows lost its seal. About 3 years ago I called and did not get much help. Then 5 months ago I submitted a request via the Milgard website. It took a while but I heard from them eventually. Yesterday my window was replaced in 17 minutes! Looks great. Thanks.

What is keeping this from a five star review is the amount of time it took from making my claim to the time I received any information regarding it. I originally placed it on 12/13/19. I received a reply stating, “a friendly, experienced Milgard customer service representative will contact you to provide assistance in resolving your service claim.” Having not heard anything, I sent an email on 1/2/20 to follow up. I finally got a response on 1/29/20. I have no issue with the overall time it took for the replacement, it just would have been nice to have a little more information during the 6 week gap that something was actually going to be done.

The fellows arrived on time and went right to work. They found that the material that was supposed to be inside the glass was actually outside and they were able to remove it. The screen door was actually the correct size and the installer just did not adjust it properly. These guys did and it now works fine.

On the third try the correct replacement was sent with the installer Norm. I'll give you a ten for living up to the warranty, and persistence and a 2 for not sending the right window even given the number on old window.

Dual glaze warranty replacement. The guys were great doing the install. My only comment would be they didn't clean up at all. It was not a big mess however a little clean up would have made it an excellent service. Also cleaning the fingerprints off the glass also would have made it 5 star instead of 4.

I didnt have original invoice and our windows were installed by a contractor maybe 6-8 years ago. We noticed a defective window. I couldn't get live person but went thru the process. I submitted pics of window and the window number. I received a call back. No questions asked. An installation date was set up, and the new window was installed beautifully even though I wasn't present. Good job. Thanks.

Casement window was opened and parts fell out. Took several months to get someone out to do the repairs. After repairs I tried putting screen in and lost one of the pins for screen. Repairman did not have one in his truck. Repairman did a good job. I asked him to check the other casement and he also repaired that one.

2-5-20: I want to let you know we had our window fixed today and the service was superb. Dave from Medford was very kind, personable and professional. The man that was with him (sorry, I forgot his name) he was wonderful too. He is from Portland and works in the office. They were able to take the window out and fix it outside, which was great; no mess inside and they fixed it so fast! I am very pleased with the service these two men have given us. Kudos to them both.

I discovered my glass in window over garage was faulty. I originally had local Milgard representative come to my house. He referred me to Milgard Customer Service. From my phone call to install it was around 2 weeks. Customer Service was awesome from beginning to end. Very impressed! Norm and Don showed up right on time they found the problem took the heavy door out replaced the rollers and the track and were done in less than a half hour. They were very friendly and did such a great job. We've had Milgard windows for over 20 years and the service is exceptional. The only negative thing was the 5 week wait time before they could get to the repair but that's not norm or Don's fault. Please take the time to let them know how much we appreciate the job they did and how professional they conducted themselves. You just can't find service like this anymore in today's world. Warranty is best in business! I had a custom exterior door with operable sidelights, left door handle, opening out! And after rejecting the first door after installation, a replacement new door system arrived and this time without the screens, so after a two year time frame, I have a beautiful door system with portable screens that open to access the side lights handles - So happy!

Martin tightened door handles. Much less movement in them now than I was able to accomplish. We had thought that we needed an odd tool somewhat like an Allen wrench to accomplish it but he explained that those were part of the door structure, not a tool-required niche. For three months, four service visits and the problem still exists. Two windows, with defects were installed. Each time the technicians come back with new glass, the quality of the glass got worst. Today, the fourth time, they looked like they were retrieved from the garbage bin. Quality assurance does not exist. Technicians were very nice but have nothing to work with. Think twice before getting any of their expensive junk. The two stars were given only for the technicians, otherwise, one star.

My window had developed a film in between the panes of glass. This has happened a few times already, luckily Milgard has a great warranty. I called and they came out the very next week and installed a brand new glass. The springs in the window are a bit loose and the window doesn't stay up as high as I want it. I wished the repairman had some in his car that he could switch out, but alas he did not and I didn't expect him to. I'll call again if it bugs me, but overall this was great service and I'd recommend Milgard to anyone!

Had a broken seal on a fixed window. Sent an email to the company who installed the window and they forwarded it on to Milgard. I received an email with a case number and was told a technician would come to replace the window in approximately 3 weeks. The technician came when he was scheduled but unfortunately had the completely wrong size of glass for the replacement. It took another month before they could get the right size and get it replaced for me. The fellow who came to replace it the second time was very friendly and quick. Took about 20 minutes at most. I would give 5 stars if only they had taken the time the first time to ask for a serial number or any more info about the size of the window. Since it took over 2 months to get it fixed I just couldn't give a perfect rating.

Had two different gentlemen come out at two different times due to the fact that the first didn't have all the correct windows. Both called prior to arriving. Both did a quick, professional job. Elder 1 showed up on time and were very courteous. They inspected interior and exterior of house and skylights. Their plan is to replace the skylights with new units. I am opposed to this at this time as I think it is merely a matter of faulty boot between the skylight fixed frame and operable frame. I don't want the roof opened up during the winter and the installation would require a massive boom lift do from the outside. I would like to monitor the situation for another 90 days as I have made some preliminary repairs to the boots. Please keep this service request on file in case it becomes apparant the the lights need complete replacement.

My experience was FRUSTRATING. The process was complicated by inaccurate assessment/ measuring by the technician who came in July. There was a communication problem and I hired scaffolding in October and November as well as January for installation. I am glad the job has been accomplished. My out of pocket expense of $1600 for the scaffold was three times higher because of communication problems and the failure to get accurate measurements in July. The team of technicians who completed my install was very good and I am pleased with the end result. Thank you.

Seems to be fine but it is filthy and I continue to clean inside and out. Installers only spread the dirt/film around. Can’t imagine what is on this that makes it so difficult to get clean.

We had new windows installed in the kitchen-unfortunately, after installation we discovered finger prints on the inner surface of the dual panes. We advised Milgard and the fabricated new panes and sent a person to install them. I took approximately one month, but when complete we were completely satisfied. The Millard team of 4 was awesome! We had a leak and it was not the window itself but the “weep hole” that was clogged. It was pouring rain and they were able to remove and replace it back quickly. The installer was very fast, polite, courteous and professional. The workmanship is good. However the installer left debris in the window tracks and surfaces within a foot surrounding the windows. Also, the windows were not cleaned nor have shipping adhesive removed from the window panes. I don’t know how to remove the adhesive so guess I won’t be having clean windows for a while (may wear off with routine cleaning?). The previous warranty services I have experienced (three prior) were 100% clean for the window panes although debris was left behind in every service. Maybe the installers could work on the debris situation better and clean the windows, completely, upon completion of the replacement. Thank you for the services you provide. I am still very grateful and appreciative. I would give this service 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Have a wonderful day!

We built a weekend home several hundred miles from our primary residence and chose the Milgard Hermosa line of windows because they are designed specifically for the challenging Texas climate, as well as the Tuscany sliding doors to maximize the view. There were issues with both the doors and windows from the start - the doors were difficult to open/lock and many of the small support blocks on the sides of the awning windows fell out when we first opened them. Some windows also off-center operator arms that made it difficult to crank them.
Milgard sent Sy out to help us from Dallas, which is a six hour drive - one way. He immediately recognized that our own contractor had failed to insert the stops for the sliding doors and had brought extras with him. They now work perfectly! He also explained that during factory assembly, sometimes the users of the screw guns who are securing the blocks in place are being cautious not to overtighten the screws and had all the blocks repositioned in short order. He also demonstrated similar magic on the operator arms, showing easy manual adjustments. We did a complete 180 from feeling like suckers for spending so much money on the windows to being beyond impressed with Milgard! Thank goodness for, and thank you to, Milgard Customer Service and Sy!

Two workers arrived promptly and in no time replaced two panes that had become fogged after 20 years in my kitchen. I would definitely recommend Milgard Windows, they look beautiful, just like the old windows, but no rotten wood and lifetime warranties!

Milgard replaced glass for Right/Non-operable panel of slider based on previous service visit for sliders not operating correctly; e.g. clunking, sticking or not closing. Replacement went smoothly. We are still waiting on Milgard feedback regarding our 5 sliders which require twice yearly service due to installation errors by Milgard. We and Milgard have documented the issues - see our file. When will these sliders be completely replaced?

Our timeframe for the appointment was between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Sam **, your glazier, arrived at 11:32 am. He was prompt, courteous, professional and represented your company very well. He took out the window panel and then replaced the glass; one of the grids inside the panel was slightly crooked but noticeable. Once he assembled the window panel, he cleaned the glass and brought it back to replace it. I really appreciate the professionalism and the service was provided; as well as how Milgard honored its Life-Time Warranty. Thank you for both the quality of your product and your service.

I purchased new Milgard windows for my entire house through Home Depot. The store display had ads and clear labels all over and the Milgard Sales Rep assured me that they had this great lifetime Warranty on my exact windows. All the metal started rusting immediately after install. After 25 calls to their Cust Serv dept they finally tell me that there is NO warranty for the entire state of Hawaii and the whole coastal area of CA, OR, and WA. No Warranty for most of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle! These people are liars and rip-offs. Beware! Their metal components are inferior and do not last. Do not believe their warranty labels.

Our Ultra sliding door came out warped so it wouldn't lock. It took 4 weeks to get someone out but the warranty tech who arrived was very diplomatic unlike the last 2 hostile techs we got. He fixed the door so it properly locks now.

Our window seal was compromised causing mold to grow between the panes. Although it took time for Milgard to connect back with us after the initial contact, the representative who came to measure and then install the replacement windows was very professional. He arrived at the very beginning of the time period that was given. He was efficient and polite.

Robert called ahead and was right on time. He easily fixed the mortise latch on one of my Milgard sliding exterior doors. Fortunately, he had parts on his truck to fit the earlier design of my lock. The repair call didn't take long, as he knew exactly how to fix the broken latch mechanism. No mess. I am very pleased with his work.

Received a Milgard patio door and installed it. The hardware was incorrectly set in the factory and is cheap at best. After two hours of adjustment still not correct. I contacted Milgard and they insisted on charging me to come correct their errors. I also installed Milgard windows and the fit and action of them is mediocre at best. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Purchased 25 casement windows from Milgard. The windows are great however I had a problem with one that was hinged crooked from the factory and would not close. Called both the rep and Milgard. Both said that they would create a ticket and get it repaired. That never happened and when I called Milgard back about it they were very rude and asked how I got their number. I ended up fixing it myself. Also paid extra for oil rubbed bronze hardware and received some oil rubbed and some plastic. When confronted with this they simply sent me more plastic hardware with no concern or followup. I tried to leave a review on the Milgard website but they do not accept and negative reviews so beware of what you read on there. Bottom line is that the windows are great but the warranty and followup is non-existent.

Window under warranty and replaced. Three of my windows had their seals fail and the fourth window had a small rock go through it. Milgard replaced my windows promptly and without any issues. It was a quick and easy process.

Armando showed up promptly this morning and took about 40 minutes to remove damaged panes and replace with new. He was polite, courteous, efficient. There had been a previous appointment on Nov. 22, which couldn't be fulfilled, because there was a warehouse mix-up. I am glad that the job cold be done this time. Arrived on time--8 a.m.. as scheduled. Will was friendly but highly professional. Two other men arrived and the job was completed very quickly. After the job was finished Will asked me to come out and inspect the job. Looks great. He explained that you do not install the old style skylights and the replacement have a 10 year warranty. He said if any problem just call. Excellent service. Very pleased.

Replaced skylight window. Was better service (quicker) in the past 20 yrs. It's taken 2 months to get the window. It would have been a good idea to remove the label! It does show from the ground. Luckily it doesn't face the street. Maybe it'll disappear in time.

Submitted service request online opened case on July 8, 2019. September 30 was told window on still on backorder. Finally got an installation date of December 6. Five months waiting was disappointing. But besides that, the installation of the new window was awesome. Two wonderful gentlemen arrive and completed the job within 30 minutes. They even cleaned the window spotless.

What a miserable experience with this company! We are the second owners of this house and needed windows replaced. Our neighbors who were 2nd owners had 10 windows replaced by the same company and all of theirs were covered and they were out of warranty time as well. Our claim was on July 5th and Milgard says our policy expired 7/19 and they will not cover the window. What an unethical business practice!

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. The Full Lifetime Warranty transfers for 10 years from the install date to 2nd owners. The whole experience has been painless. I needed a faulty window replaced. Andrew came out first but I had not measured correctly, so a return trip was needed. I was kept in the loop the whole time. The man who replaced my window did a good job. He was on time, helpful and courteous. I cannot say the same for the customer service personnel. This always entailed a long and often fruitless wait. Although the window clearly states it is Milgard, they wouldn't consider my problem unless I found the number they wanted. This was impossible for me to read (I'm 70 years old) to which they were unsympathetic.

The guy who brought me the new replacement screen door for one of my patio doors was really good at what he did. I think his name was Ramone. He was great but I still am having a problem with the other patio doors I purchased in July. There is a paint problem that I have tried to address since they were installed in August. I have sent pictures to Milgard and other service people from your company have also. NOTHING IS BEING DONE! I need to have the painter come and paint the doors that were not painted right at the factory.

I was very pleased with the prompt reply to have someone come out and help me because I wasn't able to find the glass #. Milgard was able to look up the original number, and sent someone out with the glass. He installed it in a very few minutes, and I didn't even need to sign anything.

Although every other window in our house is from Milgard, it turned out that the window that was the subject of this order was made by Viking Windows. While we appreciate that Milgard always provides good service on its windows, and made two trips to our home, it could have saved all of us some trouble if the repairman had been able to recognize that the window was not a Milgard product on the first visit.

Window exchange for leaky seal. I had to reschedule the original appointment because it was sent to my contractor (not me, the homeowner) so I wasn’t home. The scheduling was onerous- long hold on the phone, transferred several times. At that time, I made sure my phone # to be on the record to prevent the same mistake. Was told I’d get a call 2 business days before to confirm. Never got the call so I called before 5pm to make sure. Another long hold. I also gave my office land line #. Was told I would get a call 30mins before the appointment time on the day of. Never got the call. I had a bad feeling so headed to my house anyway only to find the 2 gentlemen parked & waiting for me. Not sure how long they were there but they were very pleasant. Asked why they didn’t call & was told they called (my contractor’s #). They were great but the scheduling process & the promises made to the customer are horrid.

We had Milgard Low-E, lifetime warranty windows installed throughout our house in 2006. Recently, we noticed that 3 of those windows had fogged. Today, two Milgard installer/repairmen installed the 3 replacement panes as well as replacing the rollers on one of the sliding panes. They were efficient, clean, and polite. Thank you.

I've been in communications with Milgard since July to get these failed windows replaced. They were finally replaced, with the exception of one additional one that will also need replacement, yesterday 11-19-19. Leo, my service gentleman who did the replacement, was great!! Fast, efficient, clean, friendly, respectful. A true professional. I give him 5 stars! Hope these windows last longer than the last ones, which began failing, one by one, a few years after installation. Below are my overall evaluations of the replacement request "process", which has taken 4 months--longer than it should have, although apologies were made to me along the way for "the ball being dropped".

Three of the windows installed in a 2004 remodel began to show powdering on the interior film and were deemed defective in 2019. Milgard replaced them in short order with zero hassle. Their worker got the defective glass replaced in about an hour with no mess. Not every product can be perfect. Was dealt with quickly and professionally.

Service for the lockset on the french doors. The service tech was great, on time and tried to do what was possible. The lockset is still a little sticky but at least works. The primary concern was how long it took to get a response to my online request for service. I waited about a week to 10 days to hear but had to call the service center to get someone to provide me with some help. The online service needs some attention.

We moved into our new house last Christmas and I had our windows cleaned in August. The window cleaner said he saw some marks on one of the windows that he thought was a flaw in the glass. Service call revealed that to be incorrect and the marks in question were removed by the technician. Super nice guy.

I rate the repair work a 5 but would not rank your Customer Service well because it is almost impossible to reach someone by phone at Milgard and my two email requests for service from your website were ignored for weeks.

Called a couple months ago about a suspected bad window. Milgard promptly sent a representative to check and he agreed. A new window was ordered. Milgard sent a crew to replace the window within a very reasonable time. The crew were polite, professional and prompt. (I'm building a new house and am ordering Milgard windows for that house too)! Outstanding product, service and employees. Have dealt with Milgard for 20 years now. Outstanding.
