    It was dark by time the technician arrived so once glass was replaced there was no way to see if they were without scratches or leaks in seals. He also measured another window of which the seals are crumbling and would make an order form for March 2021 to be fixed. So I should hear in February for date.

    The technician that came to explain and assist with the uneven French door issue was responsive. He explained the issue where I understand it. It doesn’t solve the problem but I have a better explanation and he explained everything with respect unlike Nick who was condescending. The installer came to replace the window screen for the damaged one he installed last June. The screen is not taut and has slacking across the middle. It’s just like the one he previously installed with the exception of a big dent across the top. I have reached out to the installer but I doubt he will respond given his history and incompetence. There have been many issues with this installer and we are six months deep into this project.

    It took almost 4 months from the time the first window parts broke until someone came out to repair them. The first delay was identifying the company who was responsible for the windows. Even an internet search failed to identify the logo. Then the first appointment was missed because parts were not available but I was not informed until I called to find out why nobody showed. Weeks later, the second appointment was nearly derailed by the weather but the man (Jaime) came out and fixed the windows.

    Waiting 3 months for a warranty window replacement was ridiculous.     I replaced three windows with Milgard Windows. The glass in one of the windows was very hot to the touch - which surprised me since I was told the window glass would not be hot to the touch. Milgard came out and inspected the window and told me found that they were installed correctly. They told me the glass was hot because of the shade on my windows. They told me to leave my blinds open to let the air flow. The heat was being trapped by the blinds and caused the glass to heat up. I'll try their suggestion to see if that is the cause of the hot surface glass temperature.

    We ordered Milgard double hung windows for our bedroom. Once they were installed, we noticed the windows wouldn't lock or close properly. Milgard eventually sent a technician to check and his conclusion was that the windows were made improperly in the factory and would have to be replaced. We waiting six weeks to hear back from Milgard and finally we had to call. They had "lost" our order from the technician. We were then put on another 6 week wait and told the windows would be replaced on a certain date. We even called two days before to confirm and were given a window of time for installation.

    The exact time they were to be here, we receive a call saying the windows were on BACK ORDER!! And they expect us to believe that! We are done with Milgard and have asked for a full refund of the $1000 plus we spend on the windows and we will just live with the damaged ones. I will NEVER recommend Milgard to anyone. We will also be reporting this to Lowe's where we purchased the windows.

    I contacted VIVAX, my installer in August as my French Door had become misaligned and was striking the threshold and the other door. They came out and made an adjustment on August 17th, which helped, but did not entirely solve the problem. They said they needed to get Milgard to come out for further adjustment and that it would take 2-3 weeks.

    I finally got a call from you last week, and we scheduled for October 19. (9weeks) The guys were here early, but I was able to meet them. They looked at it, made an adjustment, and the problem is fixed. About 10 minutes. They were polite and efficient and as I told them I am happy. Other than the very long wait time, I am happy with the service, and I do love the windows. I suspect the delay was at least partly on the part of VIVAX, who also did some painting and repairs on my home besides the window install. It took me a year and a half to get the job done properly..

    The wrong vent panel for the patio door was delivered and installed on 7/22. The correct vent was ordered and when the install date came the installers said only the glass had been delivered and they needed to order the entire panel. The panel was to deliver to the warehouse on 10/7 with a two hour install time for 8:15-10;15 a.m. on 10/9. At 8:30 on 10/9 I was informed that they could not find the panel and would have to re-order it with a 4 week lead time. I asked the service rep to have her manager call and she said she would the following day. I did not receive a call and left a voicemail requesting a call. Three days have passed with no call and I left another voicemail today. Three months after the initial install (of the wrong panel) and I'm still waiting for this to be remedied. First they order the wrong thing and then they lose the 2nd replacement. C'mon, you can only blame so much on COVID. Next call is to Better Business Bureau.

    The 2 guys who did our work were dedicated to doing a good job. One was being trained by 6 year employee. They were very late arriving but called and explained the Milgard truck was late and had to be unloaded. The only thing I would suggest is that the employees do not ask to use the customer's bathroom! Especially, during this time of Covid 19. The employees did wear a mask the time they were here but I think he got irritated when I told him no he could not use my bathroom.     We were recently broken into because the Milgard door installed in the kitchen didn't lock the same way as our other doors did. Also, the installer didn't do a good job installing and left a huge gap in between the two doors. I called the following day to have one of the technicians to perform an assessment and fix the issues. I didn't have a good experience the first time I called. I was put on hold for at 45 minutes, only to find out that Milgard couldn't help me unless I open a ticket. I tried to open a ticket while I had her on the line and but I couldn't find the number. The person I spoke with made me so frustrated because she refused to help me. She was rude, talked over me, had no compassion, even though I told her we were just robbed and I really needed help to fix the door. Instead, she hung up on me after having me wait so long! That was so unprofessional!

    I called back. I asked for supervisor but I was transferred to the SALES department. I don't know why I was transferred there. The only obvious reason why is (1) no one wants to help me (2) your receptionists are not properly trained well to handle calls (3) everyone is just lazy and don't care about anything and will just transfer you anywhere to get you off their backs. Luckily I spoke with a girl named Erin who really helped me out. She kept her word, literally walked my information to the right department and had someone come out here the following day. She was very helpful and understood why I was so upset. Even the guy who came out was nice. I really want to thank them both.

    All I ask is that all our information in your system appeared to be incorrect and Erin had difficulties locating our orders. I would like to straighten out the door information we have on file so we don't have to deal with this again. Thank you for listening.     The guys were early and very pleasant and helpful. They removed the window and cleaned inside the panes and it looked like new. They also looked at two sliding glass doors that were sticking and hard to open. They fixed those too and showed us what to use in the future for any windows that don't open easily.     Wow! I will never buy anything but Milgard windows. After finding mold between the panes of one of my 10 year old windows, I found my paperwork and got in touch with Milgard. The window was replaced for free! The company I bought from is no longer in business but it didn’t matter. Milgard happily honored their lifetime warranty. I was shocked and so excited. The installer came on time and had my new window in my new office installed in 30 minutes! Teaching from home will be tough, but now I have a gorgeous view out of my new Milgard window.     Your Replacement service was very helpful and easy. Your workers were quick and professional and safe. I do have one complaint though. I was given a 2 hour window starting at 7am. At 10am I called and was told that there had been a glitch and they would need to come out later. They did get out later and everything went fine. But had it been a different day or situation, that glitch could have forced me to cancel for the day. It also forced me to get up early and get my dogs to a daycare place, much earlier than needed.

    The thermal barrier on one of our windows was damaged in transit. Milgard authorized the window to be installed and agreed to make a repair at a later date. The first repair date occurred on time, but the Milgard repair person did not have the correct part. I suspect some type of miscommunication from the installer. The repair was rescheduled and the repair was completed with the correct part. There was no disruption to the window installation during the repair. Nice, professional work.

    The service technician gave me a call on the day of my appointment and 15 minutes before arrival. That was great!!
